EZEKIEL : why would I hate them it was a luck of the draw and I just so happened to draw the bad end of the stick so why should i hate them I did with what I had and made the best with what was given to me why should I hate them.

Stephanie : but... Before she could finish your sentence Andres Cuts in and interrupt her. 

Andres : even though he's a little bicth and a pussy he is right you know there's no point in crying over it there's nothing you or the other gods could have done about it besides you saw his memories even if he don't like any of it he didn't let it get to him he has a strong heart, strong mind, and strong will so you should not pity him you should be happy that  he does not hate you guys or curse you guys even though he's a little bicth.

Ezekiel : is it really necessary for the name calling?

Stephanie :*sob* he's right there really isn't any need for name-calling and what did you mean the other gods couldn't help him. she says  as her eyes were still red and puffy but at least she stop crying.

Andres : hahaha is there a need for name-calling of course there is why because he's too soft hearted, is irritating, and annoying as for your other question he not originally from that world. but in his thoughts he was thinking something else (he's not even from that universe or trivirs).

Ezekiel : damn that shrink was right you're a total dick you know that  you could be more nice instead of being such an ass.

Andres : I could but I'm not going to cuz I don't want to so get over it. besides you won't have to deal with me for long.

Ezekiel / Stephanie : what do you mean not for long.

Andreas : hahahahaha look there goes the couple again speaking at the same time and in sync. well like I was trying to tell you before we were interrupted I will be fusing our souls together and as for my memory I will create a system to store it I he got the idea from all the books and stories we read.

Ezekiel : what do you mean fuse are spirits together how you going to create a system.

Andreas : let's just say the things for the novels that we read are possible like there's a world of Naruto and they they exist and for all the books in The Maze mangas anything that is created out of people's imagination. or they're not technically created from nothing there exists the world and just so happens bits and pieces of those worlds tend to leak into the imagination or mind of people. as for us using our souls together well I was originally supposed to watch over you and protect you but there was a fatal error you're too soft so hopefully by fusing my soul and your soul together we can at least we balance each other personalities out and make are soul stronger.

Ezekiel : can you at least make the system a girl I don't want to have to listen to your voice no offense but dude that would be kind of awkward wouldn't you agree.

Andres : hahaha no offense taken and yeah I do agree with you so it will be an AI that is a girl with my current knowledge and i will have to be unlocked slowly as we get stronger that sound Fair.

EZEKIEL : that Sounds reasonable.

Stephanie : hay are you two forgetting about me.*pout*

Andres : yes

Ezekiel look at Andres angry with a vain poping out of his forehead 

Ezekiel : shut up Andres and no we weren't it just that he know all about me more then I know about my self although he is a jurk I trust him it dose not mean I am trying to ignore you.

Stephanie : * sigh* I know I just fill left out I'm I am the one that brought you hear to give you a chance to live happy life you deserve .

Ezekiel : know and I appreciate it. shows a kind and gentle smile.

Stephanie blushed and Andres look at them with intrigued eyes and an idea hit him with a cunning smile that no saw.

Andres :  hay Stephanie I have a proposition for you if your interested.

Stephanie:  what would that be. with questioning look in her eye

Andres : how would you like to be the sprit of the system since I will not have any of my memory so the only thing that well happen is that are personality will combine so it will basically be Ezekiel 2.0 it will be him with a personality up grade so he is going to need someone looking out for him and me I guess if your worried hire up don't be trust me.

Stephanie :*sigh* as much as would love to just like you said I would have deal with the hire ups.

Andres: ........ try ask well my and Ezekiel are fusing together it going to take some time so the only request I have for is somewhere he can build his Fondation and able to guarantee his wish come true.

Stephanie : *sigh* will try to ask as for request I well personally see to it.

 Andres : thank you as for are first system it it will be the shadow system.

EZEKIEL: what dose the shadow system do.

ABALA ako sa paglalagay ng black pearl at white pearl sa large plastic cup nang may babaing lumapit sa counter. And guess who is she? Siya lang naman yung morenang babae na nagmaldita sa akin sa school kanina. As usual, kasama niya yung dalawang alipores niya na nakaupo sa table malapit sa counter.

"Good evening, Ma'am, welcome to Gooma Cafe. Ano pong order nila?" magalang na tanong ko kay Morena Girl.

"Yes. Can I order two large brown sugar milktea with black pearl and one large wintermelon milktea with white pearl and egg pudding." mataray na sagot niya.

"Okay po. Two large brown sugar milktea with black pearl and one large winterme---"

"Wait. I change my mind. Can you change white pearl into black pearl. Tsaka ayoko na ng wintermelon. Much better if kung almond na lang yung sa akin." sabi niya, dahilan para maguluhan na ako, pero 'di ko yun pinahalata sa kanya.

"Okay po. So, almond milktea with white pearl instead of black pea----"

"Sandali. Ayoko na ng almond. Ahm, ano na lang, ah. One large oreo matcha cheesecake milktea with black pearl, white pearl and egg pudding. Thank you." and she smirked devilishly at me.

"Ahm, Ma'am, baka pwede pong pag-isipan nyo po muna ang order ninyo." mahinahong sabi ko.

"Why? Hindi ka ba makasunod?" tanong niya sa akin with matching taas kilay pa. Grr. Kung hindi ka lang customer dito sa cafe, baka kanina pa kita naupakan dyan.

"Ma'am, h-hindi naman po sa ganun. Mukha po kasing hindi kayo ready na mag-order." sagot ko habang pilit kong pinapakalma ang sarili ko sa walang manners na babaing nasa harap ko.

"Really? Ako ang hindi ready na mag-order? O baka naman ikaw ang hindi ready na gawin ang order namin. You know what, napaka-simple lang naman kasi nyan. Two large brown sugar milktea with black pearl and one large oreo matcha cheesecake milktea with black pearl, white pearl and egg pudding. Fifty percent lang ang sugar and less ice. Siguro naman, na-gets mo na. O baka naman you're just too stupid. Unahin mo na muna yung sa dalawang kasama ko before yung sa akin." sabay irap niya sa akin bago siya bumalik sa pwesto kung saan nandun ang dalawang kasama niya. Naiwan naman akong tuliro at hindi alam kung alin sa tatlong order niya at ng mga kasama niya ang uunahin ko.

(Gooma Cafe)
(Charlize's POV)

MULA sa loob ng manager's office kung saan nag-o-opisina si Stephanie ay kitang-kita ko ang usapan sa pagitan ni Laurrie ng ex-bestfriend kong kampon ni Satanas. In fairness, tinubuan na ng sungay ang bruha, pero hindi pa rin niya maipagkakaila ang katotohanang duwag pa rin siya. Speaking of Laurrie, part time employee pala siya sa cafe na pag-aari ni Stephanie.

Nakita kong inihain na ni Laurrie ang order ni Eunice at ng dalawang kasama niya. Babalik na sana sa counter si Laurrie nang biglang magsalita si Eunice.

"What the hell is this?!" singhal niya kay Laurrie.

"Yung order nyo po, Ma'am. One large oreo matcha cheesecake milktea with black pearl, white pearl and egg pudding. Fifty percent sugar and less ice." sagot ni Laurrie.

"Hindi ito ang in-order ko." mataray pang sagot ni Eunice. Tss. Anong tingin mo kay Laurrie, isang tangang kagaya mo?

"Malinaw po na yan po ang in-order ninyo. Sinulat ko pa nga p---"

"Hindi. Mali ka. Alam mo kasi, you're just too stupid for this job kaya mali-mali yung order namin. Ang pangit ng lasa! How could you expect me to drink this?!" Grrrr. You brat!

Napayuko na sa hiya si Laurrie habang pinagtitinginan na siya ng iba pang mga customers.

"O baka naman gusto mong ikaw ang uminom nito!" sabay tayo ni Eunice at buhos niya sa in-order niyang milktea kay Laurrie. 

HOW DARE YOU, WORTHLESS SLUT!

Susugod na sana ako sa kanila nang pigilan ako ni Stephanie.

"Hayaan mo munang magwala si Eunice. Tsaka ka na sumugod kapag nakunan na ni Alice ng video ang eksena." sabi sa akin ni Stephanie sabay turo niya kay Alice na nakaupo sa upuan na malapit rin sa kanila.

"Pero binabastos na niya ang empleyado mo, Steph!" katwiran ko.

"I know, Miss. Pero kapag sumugod ka pa dyan, baka ikaw pa ang mapahiya. Kaya hayaan mo na munang magwala ang bruha, para malaman ng lahat kung gaano siya kawalanghiya. Ako nang bahala kay Laurrie." and Stephanie smirked at me. Hmmm.....sa tono pa lang ng pananalita niya, mukhang may binabalak na naman siyang gawin against my slutty ex-bestfriend. Kaya kahit na labag sa loob kong panoorin ang pagwawala ni Eunice ay mas pinili kong sundin muna ang sinabi ni Stephanie.

Mula sa loob ng opisina ay kitang-kita ko ang matinding pagkapahiya ni Laurrie kay Eunice.

"Sumosobra na talaga ang babaing yan." sabi pa ni Stephanie. I just clenched my hands into fist.

"Ano? Masarap ba? Masarap ba?" singhal pa ni Eunice kay Laurrie.

"Ma'am.....s-sumosobra na ho yata kayo." mahina pero mariing sabi ni Laurrie.

"Aba, lumalaban ka na?! Lumalaban ka na?!" at sinabunutan ni Eunice si Laurrie. Dahil hindi ko na matiis pa na makitang may sinasaktang tao ang ex-bestfriend ko ay tuluyan na akong lumabas ng manager's office. Mamamagitan na sana ako nang biglang may humablot kay Eunice palayo kay Laurrie.

Si Raffy.

"What do you think you're doing, Eunice?" mahina pero maawtoridad na tanong ni Raffy sa magaling naming co-member.

"R-Ra-Raffy....." nanginginig sa takot na sabi ni Eunice.

"Answer my question. What do you think you're doing?" this time ay galit na si Raffy sa pagtatanong.

"I-inaway kasi ako ng babaing yan!" sabay duro ni Eunice kay Laurrie. "I just told her that she gave me the wrong drink tapos bigla ba naman siyang nagalit sa akin! Itinulak pa niya ako!" 

Sinungaling. Di yun ang totoong nangyari, dahil ikaw ang nag-umpisa ng gulo.

"Ma'am, kayo po ang nagtapon nung drink ninyo sa akin." matapang na sagot ni Laurrie.

"Ikaw kaya ang nagtapon sa sahig! Ba't ko naman gagawin yun?!" pagsisinungaling pa ng walangya.

"H-hindi ko alam. Hindi ko nga alam kung bakit mo ako pinag-iinit---"

"Oh shut up, stupid! At ikaw pa 'tong malakas ang loob na magsinungaling!" 

"Young Master Raffy, she's lying! That girl is a liar!" sabad ng alipores ni Eunice na si Rachel.

"Oo nga! Liar!" dagdag ng isa pa niyang alipores na si Clarissa.

"See, Raffy?!" confident pang sabi ng gaga.

"Raffy, hindi ako nagsisinungaling! Hindi ako sinungaling! Hindi ko alam kung bakit nila ako inaaway! Nananahimik ako!" depensa ni Laurrie sa kanyang sarili.

"Enough of this." pag-awat ni Raffy sa kanilang dalawa. 

"Raffy, maniwala ka sa akin. Wala akong ginagawang masama. Kung ano yung in-order niya sa akin, yun po ang ibinigay ko. Alam kong mali ako na pinatulan ko siya, pero maniwala ka sa akin, hindi ako ang nag-umpisa ng gulo. Mahal ko ang trabaho ko, alam mo yan. Hindi ako tatagal ng dalawang taon dito kung hindi maayos ang performance ko." umiiyak nang sabi ni Laurrie. 

"Raffy, wag kang magpapaloko sa drama queen na 'to. She's lying! Malas ng manager ng cafe na ito dahil nagkaroon sila ng empleyadong palpak na nga, sinungaling pa!" Aba't! Talagang hindi ka magpapaawat sa mga kasinungalingan mo ha!

"Sandali, sandali. Yun ba talaga ang nangyari?" tanong pa ni Raffy sa kanila. 

Sasabad na sana si Alice sa usapan nang may customer na tumayo sabay lapit sa kanila.

"Excuse me, mawalang galang lang po. Nakita po namin ang buong pangyayari. Wala naman pong kasalanan yung barista. Yung morenang babae po yung nag-umpisa ng gulo." sabay turo nung customer kay Eunice. Ang resulta? Plakda sa kahihiyan ang gaga. Buwahahahaha. Deny pa more.

"Oo nga! Binuhusan mo ng drink yung barista. Bully ka! Eto oh, may video ako, gusto mo, gawin kong viral 'to?" sabad ng isa pang customer.

"Excuse me, Miss." sabad na ni Alice sa eksena. "You don't need to do that, dahil kaka-upload ko pa lang ng video ng babaing yan sa FB, with matching caption entitled #TheGoomaCafeBully. Don't worry, for sure, magiging trending ang viral video niya, because of her bad attitude." 

That shuts Eunice and her two friends. Napailing-iling na lang si Raffy sa mga narinig niya mula sa dalawang customers pati na rin sa mga sinabi ni Alice.

"Fine! Blame me! Tutal ay dyan naman kayo magagaling! Ang pagtulungan ako!" sabay walk-out ni Eunice palabas ng cafe. Taranta namang sumunod sa kanya sina Rachel at Clarissa. Hahahahaha. Nakakatawa talagang makita ang talunan niyang itsura. Sayang lang at 'di ko dala ang camera ko, eh 'di sana nakuhanan ko ang loser face ng gaga. 

"Peps, okay ka lang ba?" nag-aalalang tanong ni Raffy kay Laurrie.

"O-oo. O-okay lang ako." malungkot na sabi ni Laurrie.

Nag-aalala akong lumapit kay Laurrie kasama si Stephanie.

"Are you okay?" worried na tanong ko sa kanya.

"O-oo. Ayos lang po ako, Miss Charlize." sagot niya.

"Grabe na talaga ang mga babaing yan. Pati ba naman sa cafe ko, nagawa nilang mag-eskandalo. Tapos, pati yung empleyado ko na nagtatrabaho ng maayos, pinerwisyo pa nila!" inis na sabi ni Stephanie.

"M-Ma'am Steph, p-pasensya na po kayo sa nangyari. H-hindi ko po ginusto na magkagulo dito sa shop." apologetic na sabi ni Laurrie kay Stephanie.

"Wag kang humingi ng tawad sa akin. Wala kang kasalanan sa nangyari. Don't worry, ako nang bahala sa mga babaing yun. Sisiguraduhin kong magbabayad sila sa ginawa nila sayo." pagtitiyak ni Stephanie sa kanya. "Sa ngayon ay magpahinga ka na muna sa lounge sa loob ng office." 

"S-sige po, Ma'am." at agad na pumasok sa loob ng opisina si Laurrie.

Hindi na rin nagtagal sa cafe si Raffy dahil bumalik na rin siya sa condominium ng UESC. Speaking of UESC Condominium, for sure, nakarating na kay Miss Irene at kina Tito Charles ang ginawang kalokohan ng magaling kong ex-bestfriend. Dahil tinablan na naman ako ng excitement at curiosity ay agad na akong nagpaalam kay Stephanie. Pupunta ako sa condominium para alamin kung ano pang kamalasan ang naghihintay sa mortal kong kaaway.

Keno went back home with Stephanie in tow. Both of them now dressed properly. Stephanie still had a hint of blush on her face but that was it. She looked like a prim and proper lady with her Sunday dress while holding a pot full of food.

 

"Hello Aunt and Uncle. I brought you some food."

 

She smiled elegantly after she greeted the two elders.

 

"You look nice today Stephanie."

 

Keno's mom took the pot from Stephanie then looked at his son.

 

"Thank you for taking care of Keno while we were gone. I hope he wasn't much of a bother."

 

Stephanie did not answer back and just gave an ambiguous smile.

 

"How was your trip?"

 

Stephanie asked to change the topic.

 

"It was fine. Our research has been coming along pretty well and our new book will soon be published."

 

As though remembering something she added.

 

"Oh by the way."

 

She looked back at her son and said,

 

"Keno can you run an errand for me tomorrow. I forgot my laptop in Lisa's car."

 

Keno agreed right away. He did not mind running an errand for his parents.

 

So her name was Lisa.

 

He remembered the hot, blond bombshell that hugged him tightly just earlier. Her mature figure reminded him of those girls one can find in those por… *cough* magazines.

 

"Okay."

 

Tomorrow is a holiday too. He also wanted to know if the places that he remembered was still the same. His only destinations were his school and home. He decided that he needed to be familiar with his location.

 

Keno's mom clapped her hands to get everyone's attention.

 

"Let's all eat first."

 

The four set themselves in the table and started chatting about what happened on their trip. It was a fairly harmonious gathering filled with warmth and smiles.

 

Stephanie looked like she fit right in their family. It seems like she's used to spending time with my family and chatting with them. Her smile also looks natural and her movements are not stiff.

 

Keno began to understand that in order for him to have more women in his collection, then he needed to get Stephanie in his side.

 

Things might become difficult if I don't have her as a trusted companion.

 

Keno has been thinking of ways to get her to accept other women to be with him. He was in his wits end on how to explain it without making her angry. He sighed internally as he wondered what he was supposed to do next. Another thing was his points. It was still stuck at 100 while his quest was not updating.

 

The least they could do was give me a map with a quest detector or something.

He was still bothered by the fact that he had no skills, whatsoever. Comparing it to Stephanie's just made him doubt if the system is broken. Unlike a normal game's interface, his was definitely useless.

He released a sigh without realizing it.

His father asked with a hint of concern in his eyes. He got lost at his own thoughts that he forgot he was surrounded by people. He was so used to being alone in his past life that he forgot he has to be careful of his own actions. He suddenly thought of an excuse for his behaviour.

 

"I was just thinking of the upcoming school festival."

He released a sigh once more before continuing.

 

"Our homeroom teacher requested me to be the lead of a school play. I don't want to do I but she was adamant in me playing the male lead role."

 

"Is that how it is?"

 

His father gave a hearty laugh as he said this.

 

"I'm glad our son is interacting enough with other people. I was beginning to think that you just spend most of your time alone. You only have Stephanie to accompany you most of the time."

 

The mood lightened up with this, although Stephanie' expression changed into bitterness in a split second, she was able to show a smile right way as though it was nothing but a mirage. Keno gave a wry smile, with this, it showed his parents that he was a healthy teenager.

 

I wasn't lying when I said that. The teacher really did want me to participate in something troublesome. If it wasn't for the other option that she gave me, then I would have flat out refused her.

 

There was still one month before their school festival will begin. Their school will be open to the public. Like any normal schools, they can either open up stalls, stores or perform. However, their class opted for a stage performance. It was all fine and dandy in the beginning but what made it worse was when the roles were to be handed out. Just like a typical manga protagonist, he was given the lead role as he was "tailored fit" for the role. He was starting to think that the role was not a coincidence and that it was really made having him in mind. He just wanted to help around with the preparations then watch at the sidelines, but no, they had to give him something like that.

 

The only thing he could do was to suggest something else in order to escape his dilemma.

 

A normal cafe would have been better. The girls can serve in cute maid outfits with animal ears on top of their heads.

 

He looked at Stephanie who was beside him and wondered.

 

I bet cat ears would look nice on her. With her characteristics, I feel that she is more of a cat than a dog.

 

Feeling a gaze on her. Stephanie looked his way and asked,

 

"Is something the matter?"

The bell rang as the door opened. I could hear voices. Inside the diner was red. The floors were white and black. Like checkers. The booth were red and had white table. Most of them were empty. She started walking towards the back. Where the voices were coming from. 

"Hey guys" she called as they became visible. There was about 10-12 people and I hadn't met some of them. They took up two big booths. There was hardly space I know we would have to squeeze ourselves in. 

The first booth had Callum, Laura , Brooke and two other guys and girls that I hadn't met at lunch. And the other booth had Xavier, Jenna Stephanie, Josh and Alan. I notice Olivia wasn't here. 

"Took your time" Stephanie said. When she saw us. 

"Sorry had too picked up Vanessa" as she said my name they looked up. I felt them staring at me. 

"Dude who is the hot chick" one of the guy said making the girl next to him hit him. 

"I didn't know you were coming" Stephanie said. 

"I know, I was getting bored at home" I told her I move to their booth. Ignoring the guys behind me. 
She was sitting at the edge so she moved in making room for me and Mary. 

I slide in and moved for Mary. She sat next to me. It was a bit tight but not bad. I looked across and saw I was right in front of Josh and Xavier. Well this was awkward. 

Jenna was next to Xavier her head on his shoulder. She was looking at me annoyed. Maybe she didn't want me here. 

"I heard you made tryouts" josh said smiling at me. 

"Yes she was amazing, you should have seen her" Stephanie added. 

"Thanks but I wasn't that good and Jenna was a good choreographer" I said to them. 

"Yes you were Vanessa" said rolling her eyes at me. 

As I was about to reply Xavier spoke. "Can we order now" it was more a order than a question. Now I wish I sat at the other table. 

"Dude chill" josh said to him jokingly. But Xavier face got harder of that was possible. And gave him a menu. As I was about to pick on up he stopped me. 

"Remember I own you a meal" he said smiling. 

" you don't have to do that josh" I said laughing. "I shared willing with you" 

"No come on I insist, tell me what you want" he said. 

The boy and the other tables looked back and said "guys I think josh is in love" making the guys laugh expect Xavier and the girls rolling their eyes. 

I started blushing looking at josh who was rolling his eyes at them. I saw Xavier giving us a hard look. I chose to ignore him. I think he had a stick up his ass.

"Ok fine" I said giving in. I didn't want to argue and I knew he wouldn't give in. 

So he gave me a menu and I looked for what to eat. I heard Jenna saying to Xavier she just wants a salad with a green smoothie making me roll my eyes. Of course she chooses to stave herself. 

Mary turned to whisper in my ear "that's the only thing I have seen her eat, I surprised she can still walk" she said making me laugh and I think Stephanie heard cause she laughed too. Yeah Mary wasn't that good at whispering. 

It took me a few minutes to decide what to get. I told josh to get me a waffle and some wings and a chocolate milkshake. I think he was surprised when I ordered. But the laugh it off. What it was free food. 

Most of them got up to order and Jenna went to the bathroom. It was only me and Alan at the table. It was so awkward. I trying to look anywhere but at him. But he looking right at me like he was trying to figure me out.

"Why you" I heard him say. 

"Huh" I asked confused why me what. 

But he didn't say anything after that. 
Just went back to being quite till they came back. I moved in the booth for them and ended up some next to Josh. I could feel the heat rolling of his body. 

Mary was talking to a guy called Ashton. He was on the other booth but she turned her body to face him.

"Hey what's wrong" I heard Josh say. But I all I think about was my brother. His face was now in my head. "I'm sorry I just wanted to make conversation " I looked up to see it was Jenna that asked. But she didn't look sorry. 

I took a deep breathe. Trying to remember what my therapist told me. 
It took me a few seconds to calm down. I looked up to see them all looking at me. 

"Sorry" I said to them. "Hey don't apologies" Stephanie saying taking my hand in hers. 

"My mother and brother die 2 years ago" I told them looking down. I here a lot of  I'm so sorry. Looking up  "it's fine it was a long time ago" I said reassuring them that it was fine. 

Before they could ask anymore questions the waitress came with the foods. I felt Xavier looking at me so I looked at where he sat. And he face wasn't hard. His eyes were a bit soft. I knew the look in his eyes. Pity. I looked away. 

The waitress placed my food in front of me. "Thank you" I told her smiling. 

"This looks lovely" I said to josh and he laughed. 

"You love your food don't you" he said jokingly. 

"Are you kidding, me and food are like bestie" I said laughing. 

"If you keep eating like that you will get fat and then I will have to kick you off the squad" Jenna said smirking at me and the smile fell of my face. The whole table stopped talking as she said that.
"What the fuck Jenna" I heard Josh say.

I saw him sitting at the back in the dark class room. With the window light on his face. I could tell he was angry. "Come here" he said his voice calling me to him like a siren song. 

I felt my legs moving towards him before I could stop myself. He smiled as he saw me moving towards him. "Good girl" he said his voice vibrating through me, I almost moan. What the hell was wrong with me. 

I was standing in front of him now breathing hard. Not knowing what he wanted to do to me. He was playing with the ends of my skirt looking at pleased. 

"I always want you in a skirt" he said pushing it up making me gasp. He paused and looked up at me. He was waiting for my answer so I nodded at him. Too scared to speak.

"Identity? What do you mean?" Stephanie got annoyingly confused as I tell her the story about what happened earlier. This is not even the most confusing part but another one left me quite shocked.
"It said that Our father died due to some personal reason, and it said that he has a secret which he kept himself but the ones who triggered his illness want to get that specific information. They were willing to do anything just to get that information, and that people were part of the underworld organization." The last word of my sentence makes me speechless when I first time found out. Stephanie was left shocking as she heard my statement. I was sitting on Stephanie's bed looking a bit gloomy, staring nowhere as the room fell silent for a while.
"And what is that secret?" Stephanie raises her eyebrow.
"It doesn't say, but I'm sure that secret is extremely important." My statement left the room speechless. All of us making a fierce reaction, not showing any signs of weakness. Whatever secret our father is holding, we must find it out in order to get justice for his death but things are not still clear. We must find out what secret it is at any cost.
"Wait...! You just said the reason but not his identity? Am I right?" Stephanie glares at me. I sigh in no choice. This woman is sharp as ever, I was planning on keeping this a secret for a while until I clear things out. I want to look into it further before telling it to her, before giving her false hope. It's indeed the file I just read contains other information about our father personally. I'm afraid that this will make Stephanie surprised.
"Clark, What are you hiding?" Stephanie walks forward at me with an intense glare. She knew something was off. We swear to each other not to hide any information about this matter to each other.
"Our father has a.... brother in the underworld organization that has a strong background and power." I hesitate on the first part of my sentence but eventually give in in no choice.
"What...!" Stephanie backs away a little bit in confusingly. I admit I was as well shocked about this. Dad never told us he has a brother, come to think of it he never even told about us something about his private life. No one even told us anything about it. "Wha? How...? I.. We never knew we had an uncle...?" Stephanie says in confusement yet calm. She's still maintaining her composure but I know there's a lot of things going on in her mind. Questions that yet still answered.
"Why do I feel like it has something to do with our family...?" Stephanie says as she frowning passionately. Despite the matter she's still able to observe things as they go. Like to her that's my was the first thing that crossed my mind.
"There's something unusual going around here..." I say as Stephanie and I give each other an intense look. Just by looking at her I that we both became aware of what's the possible thing going to happen.

----William's POV----
I'm still standing in the corner left amusing on how Clark and Stephanie be able to maintain this type of conversation regardless of the topic, Clark calm voice as he narrates what happened. I still can't believe I was just an outsider in them. Not knowing anything! I feel annoyed knowing that I still not know them much as I think as I grip my fist in disbelief. There's still so much for me to learn about them but I know nothing! Just what kind of an idiot am I!? First was Stephanie's fear that I didn't have the clue what was going on and now this! What the hell... During Stephanie's business trip I even thought of her swimming on the beach! Just...! What kind... of an asshole am I!?
No...! I shouldn't be like this at such a moment!
"But that didn't answer the question on how you found out that there's a bomb installed." They both look at me now that I finally spoke to them.

"How do you know this place?" alam niyang medyo sumisikat na ang bakeshop, marami na kaming suki at costumers pero ang isang PJ Monteverde nandito sa loob ng bakeshop? Medyo nakakagulat.

 

 

 

 

"I know everything. Lahat ng nangyayari sa mansion, lahat ng ginagawa mo," makahulugang saad nito.

 

 

 

 

"Are you staying for good? Siguradong matutuwa si Lolo Rafael," she smiled at him. She decided to divert the topic. Ayaw niyang siya ang pinag-uusapan.

 

 

 

 

"I don't think so." Umiiling na saad nito.

 

 

 

 

"Ay!Oo nga pala, ipagtitimpla kita ng kape.. saglit lang.." umalis na siya sa harap nito at nagtungo sa kusina ng bakeshop upang ipagtimpla ito ng kape. Ang alam niya, mahilig ito sa black coffee, katulad ng itinitimpla niya dito noon. Noong sa mansion pa ito nakatira 5 years ago. 3 years din silang nagkasama sa mansion nung 'dun nagstay si PJ habang nag-aaral.
