History was the longest class ever. I couldn't even concentrate when knew Xavier was two sits behind me. I didn't want to breathe. I could feel him staring at the back of my head. Him Alan and Stephanie were in my history class. But only Stephanie spoke to me. 

I knew him and Alan were close. They both didn't speak a lot. They just stared intensely. I could hear the girls giggling and staring at them. I asked Stephanie why girls were all over them. And it was because they were the school bad boys. They had a reputation. Both their parents were super rich. Who paid of the school when they got in trouble. And being football players also helped. The way she talked about them you wouldn't know she was related to Alan.

Stephanie was a very nice girl. I know I will grow to like her. The history teacher Miss Williams was actually nicer than she looks. She let us sit next to whoever we wanted. Of course I sat with Stephanie.

We spent the lesson working on the Cold War. I had the chance to get to knows Stephanie a little bit. 

I found out her parents has there own practice and were from Korea. Both her and twin brother Alan were studying to becomes doctors as well.  But I think that was there dream not hers. She also told me that the gang have been friends for years. And that Jenna joined two years ago when she started dating Xavier. 

Apparently no on really like her at the beginning and were questioning why Xavier was dating her. She was a bitch. Her words not mine. 

She was nothing like her brother. She was more friendly and smiled a lot. She was also part of the cheerleader squad. So I was a ease knowing she would be there. 

We were currently on our way to gym class. Apparently this school took physical education seriously. We had gym for 2 hours. Yes 2 hours. They even made their gym kits that all students must have. And no it wasn't free. The girls were provided with red shorts, black leggings, sports bra and a white t- shirts with a sock. Even the trainers. 
I decided to go with the leggings and shirt. Because my legs and arms were hairy. I didn't have time to shave don't judge me. 

The changing room was huge. There was shower stalls, lockers and even a lots of mirrors with hair dryers and chairs were u could sit. There was always private changing room which I used. 



And it was clean. Which I thanked god for. 

The Gym teacher came to tell us were are running track today. Which made most of them moan. I didn't mind running as long as it doesn't involve a ball I am good. 

Mary and Stephanie were in my gym class. They both squealed when they saw each other. Making me laugh. 

"We are so going to have fun" mary said. 

I was done changing before them. They took their time making me wait. I don't how girls take for ever to change. I noticed Mary's body and it was too die for. She was thick. Her thigh and waist were goals. 

"I saw mark I think he is in our class" mary said making Stephanie blush. 

" who is mark" I asked them. 

"Oh he is Stephanie's crush" mary said

"No his not,we are just friends" Stephanie said rolling her eyes 

"Says the girl who looks like a tomato" mary said making her blush more. 

"Whatever let's go" she said closing her locker.

We walked out the changing room. I think we were the last ones in. Not that I was surprised they were both snails. 

"I think Josh likes you Vanessa" mary said as we walked out to the field. 

"What no way he was just being friendly" I said to her. 

" trust me josh isn't that friendly, he couldn't stop touching you " Stephanie added. 

I didn't even released he was touching me. I thought he was being friendly. I blushed thinking about it. 

Josh was a cute guy. He had baby face but I don't think I would like him more than a friend. I don't think I had time to date.

" I wasn't" I told them rolling my eyes.

Saleen touched the ring. The structure of the ring was identical to the Ring of Gifts. What was different was that there was nothing Saleen was able to do to open the space within. He even splashed the ring with a drop of power of faith, and the ring did not react in any way. The drop of power of faith simply slid off the ring and landed on the floor.
The blot of power of faith tried to enter the flooring of the Magical Element Tower, yet the elementite of the tower had been refined by Gaine to level 18, making it the sturdiest material in the entire series of crystal walls. The drop of power of faith rolled around, unable to get in.
Saleen retrieved the drop of power of faith with the Ring of Gifts. While he never use any divine spells anymore, power of faith itself was a type of very pure energy, which could also be converted to the power required by mages. That was proven by the grandmaster and the others looking desperately for things related to the gods.
Mages wanted to get their hands on things like that at the very end of their training. What separated mages from gods was that mages would not go about increasing their number of adherents, while gods would suffer a sharp drop in power and lifespan if they were away from their adherents.
The Winged Skull had gotten used to the existence of the two souls within his eyes by then. Saleen put away the Magical Element Tower and cast Quickcloud, flying to Daliang City with the Winged Skull.
When Saleen used his badge to dispose of three powerful beings, within the Nico Cathedral in Holy City, located at Glorious Plains of the Tanggulasi Empire, several hundred red-robed holy masters gathered around an old altar, praying without pause. Three men stood at the altar: Pope Theisio, the second oracle and the second head inquisitor from the Tribunal.
A glittering piece of equipment was hanging above the altar, a huge halo with a diameter of over ten meters. The halo was probably a gem like the Ice Island Rock. The light shooting out from the giant ring-shaped equipment showered the entire cathedral.
Every holy mater wore an expression joy and tranquillity on their faces.
The light from the gods plane emanated from the halo. All three figures standing at the altar harbored different thoughts.
Pope Theisio had silver hair, and his face was severely wrinkled. The price he paid for casting the greater prophecy spell was that his lifespan was reduced to being near its end. However, if the spell succeeded, he would regain his youth as well as the blessing of his god. Any price was deemed worth it, since if he had not worked for it while he was still able to, he would have died many years later as a forgotten pope.
Theisio had not been able to achieve and contribute much throughout his life. The relations between him and the Tribunal had simply bettered, instead of him being able to take the lead and give the head inquisitors orders.
If he were to end his life uneventfully and missed one such chance, Theisio wondered if he would have regretted it when he entered heaven. Worse still, he could have fallen, barring his passage into heaven.
Beyond the heaven lay the kingdom of the gods. Theisio's ambition had inflated alongside the rise of power of the plane. The last time the power of the plane had loosened, the godly items reacted. As such, he gathered the people of the Tribunal and the oracle to perform a greater prophecy spell, hoping to call upon a true oracle with the loosening of powers of the plane.
It would have been even better if they were able to call a double of their god, as the army of the Holy See would have been truly blessed, enabling their combat capacity to spike, bringing them many steps closer to reigning supreme throughout the mainland.
Furthermore, an oracle descending from the realm of gods was many times more powerful than the ones nurtured on Myers Mainland. The Holy City would have became a truly impregnable city, and they no longer had to fear that lunatic from the Kingdom of Metatrin.
Saleen's action of destroying Ironwall City had indeed shocked the Holy See to their knees. The Holy See had indeed ordered their forces to not get close to Daliang City, for no other reason than fearing that Saleen would have assaulted another important city of theirs. The Holy See had even recalled most of their forces and relocated them to Holy City, going so far to even considering abandoning other important cities.
The Tribunal had instead taken a cautious approach. The pope was the highest authority in all of the Holy See. If he were to fail to call upon an oracle, the pope would gain nothing from all the effort put into the act, which meant that the Holy See would have to elect a new pope within a year at most.
That would, in turn, affect the sacred war. What the Tribunal did not want to see even more was the advent of the oracle boosting the pope's power significantly, as that would mean the status of the Tribunal being diminished.
The seven oracles did not have such concerns, because with the first oracle, Fycro, having disappeared for so long, an oracle summoned from heaven would replenish their powers.
It was said that in all of the planes where the Lord of Glory was present, the oracles were the greatest force to be had in battle. If Fycro was still there with the Holy See, it would be the same with Myers Mainland. However, no one knew where Fycro was.
The remaining six developed their own agendas. All of them wished to be blessed by their god, enabling them to take over Fycro's place.
Calling upon an oracle was a long, arduous process. The adherents on Myers Mainland had not been going through something like that for a very long time. While there had been the Goddess of Nature back then, the goddess herself was a god of Myers Mainland itself, and as such, there was no need to call upon her.
The adherents of the Lord of Glory were all praying below, feeling extremely excited.
Pope Theisio was just as excited. He felt in that moment that the power in his body rose maniacally. It was the loosening of the power of the plane, and a sign that there were someone breaking through the limit of level 13.
When Saleen's lightning struck, the two oracles of the Goddess of Nature and the Dark Sky Devil brought formidable power at the same time, overcoming the limit of level 12 and breaking into level 13. At the same time, the ten-meter halo above the altar at Holy City had three silhouettes passing through, landing before Theisio.
"Pope, God has heard your prayers. You did well," Three oracles with a stature over three meters tall smiled.
The three oracles were not angels and had no wings, but the power contained within them was just as pure.
Theisio was in tears. Did God really hear my voice?
When the oracles came, nine level nine sorcerers of the Elemental Hand within the core magic tower of Alchemy City burst with powerful elemental vibrations at the same time. All magic towers in the city resonated with it, supplying the core tower with massive amounts of elemental power.
All nine level nine sorcerers advanced at the same time. All mages within Alchemy City were able to feel the terrifying scene. The sky darkened, water element froze in the wind, taking form as thick, massive clouds, bearing on the city.
The mages of the Elemental Hand yelled in joy. They had slept not well for many nights waiting for that moment. When the last time the loosening of the plane's power was calculated, everyone waited for the moment to happen again. It was a time when mages were able to advance easily. All mages above level six in the Elemental Hand had participated in the action to advance further.
Everyone seized the very moment of explosion of elements that happened earlier.
Everyone was able to comprehend the power that showered on them out of nowhere, enabling them to absorb different kinds of knowledge. Everyone had much to gain, and the ones who gained most were the nine leaders of the Elemental Hand. All level nine sorcerers advanced. From then on out, there would be no one in Alchemy City capable of squaring off against the Elemental Hand.
The reign of the Elemental Hand was able to continue. They had grown to be able to affect things throughout the entire mainland.
Things like that happened throughout all corners of Myers Mainland. The last loosening of power caught the attention of all the top notch powerful ones. They had all been waiting, including some mages in Metatrin City.
Saleen was the only one left in the dark as he brought the Winged Skull flying towards Daliang City.
The city gates remained shut. The number of magic towers within the city increased to 12. With several death mages advancing, three death magic towers were added.
The de facto leader of Daliang City was Sorcerer Stephanie. Her advancement to level nine had put the people of Daliang City at ease. The number of the city's army dwindled with many deployed to Sanlian City. If Daliang City were attacked, Sanlian City would be attacked at the same time.
There were only 50,000 elite troops and over 200,000 auxiliary troops left within the city.
The Dragon-slaughtering Mercenary Group that Saleen hired was still in the city, becoming the main force of the palace, left in charge of Lex's palace defense. Saleen went straight to Stephanie's tower as he passed by, not doing anything to rouse the others.
Saleen was a level nine sorcerer, which meant that he was Stephanie's equal. She opened up her tower and let Saleen in.
"You advanced rather quickly." Stephanie smiled, but her eyes were on the Winged Skull behind him. She deemed Saleen's follower to be somewhat stronger than Saleen, but was nonetheless suppressed at level nine.
The Winged Skull paid no heed to Stephanie's attention on them. The silver soul flames in their eyes began to dance, blocking the human-like eyes behind. The Winged Skull had learnt to disguise themselves before strangers without needing Saleen's instructions.
Stephanie had received Lex's letter and knew why Saleen had come.
Saleen said, "what would you do if Golden Plains sent someone over?"
If the Grukos sent many powerful ones and Stephanie was unable to keep things in check, she would feel uncomfortable to stay behind.
"I'd return to Principality of Bitterwater. That is Lex's true home," Stephanie answered. She did not seem to be angered over the matter in one bit.
Saleen did not see anything pretentious with Stephanie and felt somewhat relieved. He then said, "if you're willing, I can take you to Metatrin City. It is more suitable for training."
"There is no need for that. I took the late Emperor Chanake's final orders after all..." Stephanie appeared rather sad. She did not like hiding her feelings.
"I understand." Saleen knew there was no way he would have been able to get someone so powerful to serve him. Nonetheless, he took out six level 12 magic nuclei and put them before Stephanie, saying, "this is from Lex."
Stephanie had initially intended to refuse, but she smiled after seeing the level of magic nuclei offered and put them away. "Thank you. You don't actually have to do this. Per the late emperor's wish, I would never leave Lex."
Someone pushed the door open rudely from outside before Stephanie was able to finish talking.
"Master! Eh? Saleen, why are you here?"
Saleen did not even need to turn his head around to know who barged in. What surprised him right there was finding Hogina there. I came that close to killing her teacher and we're enemies now. Didn't Hogina know that?


It is said that the true meaning of a mage is to fully understand the truth of the world. A mage named Saleen Metatrin goes on many missions as a normal mage to try and change his fate. This in turn led to many problems and adventures.  

There were some marks on the ground where the chairs and table used to be. These marks were created because the small spell that prevented dust from gathering was destroyed along with the seals in here.

After carefully observing the entire loft, Wang Lin found a lot of information.

First of all, three people had entered this loft before him! Of course, there was always a chance that someone else had entered only to find the remains of restrictions like he did.

Among the three people, the first person to appear was the person who used the 18 Plum Blossom Restrictions. That person must have been very arrogant and ordinary things didn’t interest him. From Wang Lin’s observation, everywhere that looked like valuables were placed had signs of the 18 Plum Blossom Restrictions.

After this person left, two more people came, and their methods were much less professional. The tables and chairs were taken by one of them.

Wang Lin carefully observed his surroundings as he walked through the corridor. Many of the fences around him showed signs of being broken.

The deeper he went, the fewer restriction remnants he saw, and after walking five kilometers, he saw the end of the corridor. At the end of the corridor, it divided into three different paths.

Wang Lin stopped at the intersection and carefully looked at the three paths. He needed to find which way the person who knew the 18 Plum Blossom Restriction went. That person’s restriction was too powerful, so if Wang Lin followed that person’s trail, he wouldn’t be able to find any treasure.

That person was like a famous thief that picked up all the good things, while the later two were like robbers that took everything they could. However, their abilities were limited, so some good treasures would be left behind.

After carefully looking at the three directions, Wang Lin walked a few dozen feet down each path before returning to the intersection. His eyes lit up and he charged down the right path.

Although the scenery still looked the same after 1,000 feet, Wang Lin saw broken restrictions everywhere. These restrictions were all broken by force, and there were even some that were only broken half way, meaning that that person gave up.

Every time he encountered a half-broken restriction, he would stop and carefully observe it. He wasn’t in a rush to break them and would move on after observing them.

The path to the right continued to extend, and there was also a fence on the side. However, it was no longer a pond on the other side of the fence but a bamboo grove.

As he carefully moved forward, Wang Lin suddenly stopped. The right foot he had lifted up slowly returned to its original position. He remained motionless, but there were flashes of restrictions in his eyes.

There was a pavilion about 100 feet before him. In the pavilion there was a round table and four stools. There was also a jug with a few cups on the table.

Wang Lin’s eyes narrowed, and he revealed a look of caution and looked around vigilantly. The restrictions around the pavilion were intact without any sign of broken restrictions.

“There must be something about that wine jug on the table! I followed the last person who broke through by force until here, but it seems he was stopped by the restrictions here!”

Wang Lin pondered a bit and then took a few steps back. Restrictions flashed through his eyes as he carefully observed, and gradually, his expression became more serious.

“So that’s how it is. The restriction inside the pavilion has tens of thousands of different variations. If I can’t figure it out, then once I go within 100 feet of it, I will active it. If someone tried to break through by force, with the tens of thousands of changes, it would be hard to retreat unless their cultivation was heaven-defying.

A ray of celestial spiritual energy gathered on his finger and was flicked toward the pavilion.

After flicking his finger, he didn’t hesitate to quickly back up. He moved so fast that an afterimage was almost created.

The moment the ray of celestial spiritual energy got within 100 feet of the pavilion, it immediately collapsed and dissipated into shiny specks of light. It was like throwing a drop of water into hot oil, as an explosion appeared within the 100 feet area.

Once waves began to ripple, a crazy and oppressive force came from the 100 feet area. Then the powerful force surged out and immediately expanded like crazy.

If Wang Lin hadn’t already been prepared and was extremely fast, he would have already been swallowed by this wave.

Wang Lin only stopped after he was more than 1,000 feet away. Although he was retreating, his gaze was still locked to the pavilion, and right now his eyes lit up.

"Why do I feel like his threatening me?" Stephanie says being offended while tilting her head to the side.
"So, he really is watching every move we make," Clark says while his hands-on his pocket. He looks quite pissed.
"What really bothering me is that he knows our Identity, no less our relationship even got our address," Stephanie says while squeezing the letter on her hand. She's extremely furious.
"Based on the letter he's been giving, He's not just some old geezer, could be the same age as you?" Stephanie points at Clark which alerts him a bit.
"And he's really serious at you?" A mockingly raised eyebrow Clark gives Stephanie. Stephanie was about to curse her brother but it's not the time for that.
They both became silent already knowing the answer.
"Yeah, to the point he would actually make a carnation seal just for me," Stephanie says with a sarcastic smile as she was slightly waving the envelope then turn back to a fierce expression. She finds it ridiculous that he would go that far just to get her attention.
"Let make him even more pissed since he wants to control me and it may also help us know what is his capability of, right?" She smirks at Clark. Stephanie planned something wicked as a token of appreciation of trying to control her.
Clark slightly tilts his head sensing that she going to plan something bad.
"I'm going on a business trip tomorrow so might as well bring a plus one?" Stephanie playfully shrugs.
"William can be with you," Clark says coldly.
"Him? Can be... but he's too hot-tempered." Stephanie says while her hand on her chin.
"Are you sure you're going to bring a man?" Clark raises an eyebrow then scoffs at her.
Stephanie walks toward a bin.
"Why wouldn't I? He dares to control every single move I make which is the one I personally hate." Stephanie says with a wicked smile as she was tearing the paper piece by piece slowly. Clark grins at her as she heading back downstairs. That's my sister!

----Stephanie's POV----
Right now, I'm heading to my company riding my Dark Blue Aventador Lamborghini. People keep staring at my car. God, there's too much attention. I want to go to the company right away. I sigh... This car was gifted to me by Clark when I was 20 since he said he doesn't want to drove me home whenever I need to. Well, dream on even if I don't have a car I could still use a subway train you know. Well, I kinda glad he give it to me anyway. We have a lot of different cars at home all of them are given to Clark but it was divided into us. Brother doesn't really care about cars so he decided to give me the half. He said that it's too troublesome to take care of it. I took my Bluetooth earphone which I only use for business purposes.
"Call Anna," I ordered as I was driving. It follows then started to ring my secretary, Anna. It didn't take a while before someone answers it.
"Anna, I'll be there in five minutes."
"Yes, Ms. V"

----Clark's POV----
I arrived at Cs Company, I got out on my Matte Black Aventador Lamborghini. I have a lot of cars given to me but I don't want it all so I just give him half to Stephanie. Tsk... Why do people keep giving me a car like, I've already got so many of them... What a bother... There is Secretary Lee waiting for me in front of the company's entrance. As I pass the entrance people greeted me but I don't answer them back. As soon as they greeted me they disappear into my face right away. They all like a scaredy-cat.
"Schedule," I told Secretary Lee as we are walking towards the Elevator.
"We need to check out some report from the new intern, Checking the Financial Department, and Lot of paperwork to sign, Mr. Vascana. Also, the business partnership with Anderson Group. " He says as he was adjusting his glasses while reading.
"Hm..." I answer him coldly.
Anderson Group? Hmm... Interesting... I've never met someone from them before.
As we arrived on the floor, head on my office. I passed by some employees. All of the employees pause on what they've been doing and one by one greeted me but I just ignored them and doesn't answer back nor look back.
"Psh... Not even answering back."
"Who does he think he is?"
A Two man mumbling behind my back but I can totally hear them very Clearly. I stop walking, leaving Secretary Lee being confused. I click my tongue as I slowly turning around in them then piercing glare to their faces. Do you think I can't hear you? They both startled causing them to Jump.
"Fire them!"
"You may go now to the financial Department to get your last paycheck." Secretary Lee says politely to them. Now that I think about it...
"Don't give them a paycheck." I slightly yell at them causing all people staring at me. They both get surprised, mouth being filled afraid of having the same fate as them.
"You think I wouldn't dare to?" I raised my left eyebrow to them.
"How can you do that? We've been doing our Job truthfully!" One of them complain. He got a shiver down his spine when I turn my way to him. Truthfully? Haha...  What a ridiculous thing to say.
"Oh, does being truthful to your job also mean talking behind on your boss back?" I smirk at them. Your definition of 'truthfully' doesn't exist in my vocabulary. 
"I don't need someone on Vascana Group to be disrespectful especially in front of me."
I turn my back on them continue walking to head on my office as Secretary Lee was behind me. As we were walking, people keep saying about being 'Cold-blooded King'
Anyone can talk behind my back but not in front of me or else you're going to regret living in this world. I never let anyone off!
