If he only gets 100 points from capturing Stephanie, he began to wonder how much work he needs to put in, in order to achieve his goal.

Once Keno had this thought, he got scared. Thinking about other people who could have the same skills as Stephanie wandering outside the world gave him the chills.




I need to find out if she knows she has those skills. Maybe she developed them when I captured her, but I need to be sure. More things just keep on piling up. This world is not as wonderful as I thought it will be.




Keno gave out a sigh. He felt like he was going to have a headache for the days to come.

Do I really have to buy skills? I only have one skill and is only made up of question marks. I can't figure out what it does since no matter how I try, no information pops out.

Stephanie only wished Professor Hund was a little more competent, at least then she wouldn't have to be wasting the hundred points he had given her, learning something she would have otherwise learned in class.

The Library seemed to be completely empty apart from a librarian who Stephanie thought had to be an NPC—the Librarian just seemed so unreal—and Stephanie herself.

"Finally," she breathed as she found the book she was searching for.

If someone had told Stephanie that a day would come when she would visit a library without being forced, she would have rolled her eyes and probably laughed. But now as she held the leather-bound book in her hands, she couldn't help but frown. 

Books reminded her of her mother. Someone she shouldn't be thinking about unless she wanted to cry in no time. 

Whenever she thought of her mother, she thought of fire. Its colored flames devouring anything in its path with unbelievable hunger. Insatiable. Impossible. 

Whenever she thought of her mother, she remembered her father. And then all she would be able to feel is a deep rooted anger and hate. Hate for the man who had abandoned her and her mother. The very hate that threatened to make her abandon life as it currently was. 

Then when things got really bad, she would think about the very last words her mother had uttered.

'...remember Stephanie, no matter what happens, you have to be the best. Always be number one.'

Clutching the book to her chest, and staring at her black combat boots, Stephanie made her way to a section of the library that would keep her hidden.

She bumped into someone,

As she raised her head and recognized who she had bumped into, Stephanie couldn't help but feel angry. Not at the person but herself. Not at the very person who threatened her mother's last words, but at her weak self for making it happen.

Without as much as a word of apology whatsoever, she clambered away, constantly repeating to herself.

"I would be number one. I'd always be number one."

Nessa couldn't do anything but watch as Stephanie walked away shaking her head and holding a book like it was a lifeline. She had been idly walking to the bookshelves when she bumped into Stephanie.

Nessa partly blamed herself. She hadn't been looking where she was going; instead she silently wondered why Professor Avery had been so reluctant to help her.

She constantly replayed what the professor had said.

'I can't help you, at least not directly, not yet.'

But still, the more Nessa thought about it, the more she felt like grey hairs were replacing the black locks on her head.

Thinking is bad, she reminded herself as she made her way to the bookshelves. After moments of browsing, Nessa finally picked out a brown leather bound book and returned the way she had just come to a section of the library she thought no one would go to. 

Surprise became evident on her face the moment she saw Stephanie there too. She bit back a curse and went farther down the aisle sitting a few paces behind Stephanie.

Nessa spent what must have been hours reading the book. With satisfaction, she finally closed it. She finally understood. All Professor Hund had said was right, albeit ill explained. 

Nessa breathed deeply as she tried to sort through her thoughts. What she had just read in the book. She finally understood why it was easy for her to cast darkness magic. It was because her Ki flowed in the same pattern as darkness itself.

Everything in the world has Ki and everything is made up of a combination of the six elements. Each element in its own nature has its own Ki pattern, just like mages have their own Ki pattern.

The reason why it was easy for Nessa to cast darkness magic was because her Ki flowed in a pattern that 
resembled the pattern of darkness.

But that didn't mean that she needed to change her Ki pattern to cast a different element. It merely meant that she needed to adjust her flow-rate.

If she wanted to manipulate that very element in nature however, although she needs to adjust her flow rate, she would also have to take control of the element's own Ki.

What Nessa still didn't understand was what it meant to take control of the element's own Ki. Plus, if magic could be this simplified, why had Professor Hund insisted that certain elements are more easily manipulated in nature, than cast?

Not willing to rest until she knew everything, Nessa stood and made her way back to the bookshelves. This time she picked at least three books that she thought would help her.

Moments later as she walked towards her seat, she locked eyes with Stephanie. Behind her eyes, Nessa could see notthing but fury and extreme determination. 

'Gosh,' Nessa thought, 'Now I understand what it means for your fundamental element to be fire.'

Unwilling to waste any more time, she made her way to her seat. Her butt had barely touched the leather seat, when she opened the first book and started reading. It didn't take long before she discarded it and branded it useless, at least for now. The book kept talking about how it was easier to weave high end spells for group A elements than group B elements—not what Nessa was searching for.

A moment later another book was opened in front of her, and faster than the previous one, she discarded the book tagging it beyond useless.

The third book however, was a lot more useful. After five minutes of reading, Nessa already understood why it was easier to manipulate group B elements than cast them.

It is simply because,  the elements' Ki are easier to manipulate than even an individual's own Ki unless the individual had a pattern similar to that element. Whereas it was the exact opposite for group A elements.

Nessa thought back to the time Professor Hund had turned out all the candles in the classroom. Although she couldn't notice it then, now she could have sworn that she saw beads of sweat on Professor Hund's face.

Fire was a group A element, meaning it was easier for the Professor to manipulate his Ki (like making a fireball) than to manipulate the fire Ki (which was how he had turned off the candles.)

Nessa smiled as understanding shone on every portion of her face. If what she had discovered was true, it meant that even easier than making a dark energy ball, she should be able to manipulate darkness itself. All she needed to know was how exactly, she needed to manipulate darkness Ki.

Nessa made multiple attempts to try changing the form of shadows, but she could have as well been trying to light the night sky with a candle. Seemingly not satisfied, Nessa picked up the second book again, to see if there would be tips on how to control the world's Ki.

Just as she was about to begin reading, a hand appeared over the book. Nessa traced the hand up its arm, until her eyes landed on its owner's face.

Stephanie looked even more alert than she normally did. When she spoke, the words poured like several oceans on a beach. With so much authority. 

Nessa was tempted to say yes to what Stephanie had just demanded. The words still rang clear in her mind

"I challenge you to a duel?"

Nessa is a young paranoid girl who has no time for useless romance and cares about no-one but herself and her family. She's given a seemingly harmless gift which ends up changing her world as she knows it. Literally. 

Stuck in a different world with nothing but her wits and her brother, Nessa struggles to complete a game and escape a world filled magic, monsters and self made villains so she can return to reality. She soon finds out that this is indeed more than just a game and she was nothing more than a pawn in the hands of people far stronger than she was.

Despite the fact that the mc is female, she's neither a hero nor a villain. She's the most paranoid and untrusting person you might ever meet. So if you're looking for a story where the mc swooshes in to save the day every single time, I'm sorry this is not your read.

"Mr. Smith…", a man's voice got Jarred's attention.
"Yes?", Jarred turned toward the voice.
He saw an older man, and a young lady following behind him. Jarred stood up to face them, he does not like when someone looks down on him.
"I am Reginald Sinclair, president of the Sinclair group." The man slightly turned to the young lady next to him. "And this is my granddaughter, Stefanie."
"Nice to meet you.", Jarred responded politely. He was curious, why did they approach him? Jarred was never the one to hold back. "Why are you looking for me?"
Reginald nodded in approval. He does not like to beat around the bush either. "I believe that a union between Smith and Sinclair families will be beneficial for all. My granddaughter is available…"
Jarred eyed young lady who is probably in her early twenties and he understood that the old man is suggesting a marriage. It is not the first time he is approached with such requests openly and he knows how to handle them. "Don't you think that she is young for me?"
Reginald almost choked on his saliva. He coughed for some time while Stephanie patted his back thoughtfully.
Elanor was listening to the conversation from the start and burst into laugh. She knows that the old man didn't suggest his granddaughter for Jarred. And she knows that Jarred is aware of that as well.
"I was suggesting Stephanie for your nephew, Charles.", Reginald clarified when he caught his breath.
Jarred glanced at the dancefloor. "My nephew has a date, and they are engaged to be married."
Reginald frowned when he realized that Jarred rejected him. "The word is that she is just a nurse. What benefit can she bring to the Smith family?"
"My nephew and me are attending this event because of that young lady. Don't underestimate her.", Jarred voice carried a hint of threat. Why does this random person care if the woman of Charlie's choice is a nurse or a queen? How is that impacting his Sinclair family? But he knows that the old man is throwing insults only because he got rejected.
"Hmph!", Reginald could not hide his displeasure. "She knows few people? How can that compare to bonds which family creates?"
Jarred's eyes dimmed when he thought how Smiths are a large family, but a dysfunctional one where siblings would backstab each other just to climb higher in order to seize more power, more money, more, more… it's never enough. 
Jarred never found any proof, but he suspects that at least one of his cousins caused the accident where his wife and his sister perished making him a widower and Charlie an orphan. Why would anyone do that? Because without an heir, Jarred would lose his position at the head of Smithsonite corp. But he didn't allow them to have their way. He adopted Charlie and decided to raise him as his own. And he protected him well, all until that unfortunate incident in Las Vegas. But that was a blessing in disguise. Thanks to that incident, he uncovered number of people who are coveting Charlie's future position, and they connected to Hill sisters and Whites and Charlie found Emma. Jarred hopes that Charlie has enough people he can trust in his circle, so that the history does not repeat itself. Because some of Charlie's cousins are ruthless.
"Mr. Sinclair…", Jarred spoke in a dangerously low voice. "I will not forget your words. And I hope that you don't forget mine: blood relationships don't mean loyalty."
Jarred went back to his seat, ignoring the presence of Reginald Sinclair and his granddaughter. 
Jarred watched his nephew and Emma dance with smiles on their faces and remembered that he advised Charlie to delay as much as possible introducing Emma to the rest of the family. He knows how that is only delaying the inevitable when their family is alerted of the fact that Charlie has a woman he loves… a woman who will get a target on her back when they realize that she will get the right to claim a portion of the Smith's fortune. Jarred hopes that this delay helps Charlie and Emma to grow stronger and they can face together whatever is coming.

Ron is standing nearby entrance to the ladies' room. He is waiting for Zula who is inside. 
Ron knows that girls can take their time in the restroom, so he got his phone and started playing a game. With his peripheral vision he can see the door opening and closing as women get in and out, but he does not need to look up. When Zula gets out, she will walk to him, right?
He was beating the fourth level boss when he heard woman's voice: "Ron? Ronald? Is that you?"
Ron got a start. That is not Zula, or Oni or any other female who would call him. It's a voice of an older woman and he finds it strangely familiar. In that one second he lost half a life and he paused the game before looking up. 
"Ron, my dear! It is you!", woman exclaimed and walked close to him. "How did you get here? Where have you been all this time? Why didn't you call home? …"
The woman was raining questions on Ron and he felt sweat trickle down his back. What is his stepmother doing here? He wanted to ask her, but images of her abusing him for years flashed in his mind and he lost his voice. He was unable to move.
"… Are you surprised to see me? Happy? Probably not as happy as I am to see you. Your father went crazy when you disappeared without a trace. He is missing you, but I miss you more, my dear…", she leaned closer to him and arched her eyebrow suggestively. "When are you coming home?"
She reached with her hand to touch Ron's cheek. 
PAK!
The woman yelped in surprise when her hand was slapped away.
"What are you doing with my man?", Zula asked angrily.
Zula does not know what is going on. When she got out of the restroom, she saw that woman leaning closer to Ron while talking in an alluring voice… something about missing him and asking him to go home. But what struck Zula was that Ron was petrified. For some reason, he is afraid of that woman, and Zula will not allow her to hurt Ron. When Zula saw that woman reaching to touch Ron, Zula had to react and slap her hand away. Well, she would punch and kick her few times, but they are at the party, and Sarah told them to avoid violence if possible.
Zula linked her arm with Ron's. 
"Do you know this woman?", she asked Ron without removing her fierce gaze from an outraged stepmother.
Ron snapped out of his daze and looked at Zula. Somehow, her confident and gentle eyes told him that it's going to be OK, and that she is there for him. 
"She is not important.", he responded.
"What do you mean, I am not important?", his stepmother raged. "Who is this girl? Is she the reason you left me?"
Ron closed his eyes for a second and took a deep breath to compose himself. He felt Zula's hand move into his, and their fingers interlaced. 
Ron looked at Zula and smiled before turning to the woman. "I left home, stepmother, not you. And you should know why I left. Don't come near me anymore." He looked at Zula and guided her back into the ballroom. "Let's go, dear. Do you want to dance more, or should we get something to eat? …"
Ron's stepmother balled her hands into fists. "This is not the end of it, Ron! Wait until I tell your father!"
Ron and Zula went to the dancefloor.
"Are you OK?", Zula asked with concern apparent in her eyes.
"Thank you.", Ron wrapped his arms around her while pulling her closer. 
She placed her hands on his back awkwardly. "It seems you need a hug."
"Yeah. It seems so.", he admitted.
Little by little, Zula relaxed and few seconds later, she hugged him back. 
They moved slowly while holding each other tightly.

ABALA ako sa paglalagay ng black pearl at white pearl sa large plastic cup nang may babaing lumapit sa counter. And guess who is she? Siya lang naman yung morenang babae na nagmaldita sa akin sa school kanina. As usual, kasama niya yung dalawang alipores niya na nakaupo sa table malapit sa counter.

"Good evening, Ma'am, welcome to Gooma Cafe. Ano pong order nila?" magalang na tanong ko kay Morena Girl.

"Yes. Can I order two large brown sugar milktea with black pearl and one large wintermelon milktea with white pearl and egg pudding." mataray na sagot niya.

"Okay po. Two large brown sugar milktea with black pearl and one large winterme---"

"Wait. I change my mind. Can you change white pearl into black pearl. Tsaka ayoko na ng wintermelon. Much better if kung almond na lang yung sa akin." sabi niya, dahilan para maguluhan na ako, pero 'di ko yun pinahalata sa kanya.

"Okay po. So, almond milktea with white pearl instead of black pea----"

"Sandali. Ayoko na ng almond. Ahm, ano na lang, ah. One large oreo matcha cheesecake milktea with black pearl, white pearl and egg pudding. Thank you." and she smirked devilishly at me.

"Ahm, Ma'am, baka pwede pong pag-isipan nyo po muna ang order ninyo." mahinahong sabi ko.

"Why? Hindi ka ba makasunod?" tanong niya sa akin with matching taas kilay pa. Grr. Kung hindi ka lang customer dito sa cafe, baka kanina pa kita naupakan dyan.

"Ma'am, h-hindi naman po sa ganun. Mukha po kasing hindi kayo ready na mag-order." sagot ko habang pilit kong pinapakalma ang sarili ko sa walang manners na babaing nasa harap ko.

"Really? Ako ang hindi ready na mag-order? O baka naman ikaw ang hindi ready na gawin ang order namin. You know what, napaka-simple lang naman kasi nyan. Two large brown sugar milktea with black pearl and one large oreo matcha cheesecake milktea with black pearl, white pearl and egg pudding. Fifty percent lang ang sugar and less ice. Siguro naman, na-gets mo na. O baka naman you're just too stupid. Unahin mo na muna yung sa dalawang kasama ko before yung sa akin." sabay irap niya sa akin bago siya bumalik sa pwesto kung saan nandun ang dalawang kasama niya. Naiwan naman akong tuliro at hindi alam kung alin sa tatlong order niya at ng mga kasama niya ang uunahin ko.

MULA sa loob ng manager's office kung saan nag-o-opisina si Stephanie ay kitang-kita ko ang usapan sa pagitan ni Laurrie ng ex-bestfriend kong kampon ni Satanas. In fairness, tinubuan na ng sungay ang bruha, pero hindi pa rin niya maipagkakaila ang katotohanang duwag pa rin siya. Speaking of Laurrie, part time employee pala siya sa cafe na pag-aari ni Stephanie.

Nakita kong inihain na ni Laurrie ang order ni Eunice at ng dalawang kasama niya. Babalik na sana sa counter si Laurrie nang biglang magsalita si Eunice.

"What the hell is this?!" singhal niya kay Laurrie.

"Yung order nyo po, Ma'am. One large oreo matcha cheesecake milktea with black pearl, white pearl and egg pudding. Fifty percent sugar and less ice." sagot ni Laurrie.

"Hindi ito ang in-order ko." mataray pang sagot ni Eunice. Tss. Anong tingin mo kay Laurrie, isang tangang kagaya mo?

"Malinaw po na yan po ang in-order ninyo. Sinulat ko pa nga p---"

"Hindi. Mali ka. Alam mo kasi, you're just too stupid for this job kaya mali-mali yung order namin. Ang pangit ng lasa! How could you expect me to drink this?!" Grrrr. You brat!

Napayuko na sa hiya si Laurrie habang pinagtitinginan na siya ng iba pang mga customers.

"O baka naman gusto mong ikaw ang uminom nito!" sabay tayo ni Eunice at buhos niya sa in-order niyang milktea kay Laurrie.

Susugod na sana ako sa kanila nang pigilan ako ni Stephanie.

"Hayaan mo munang magwala si Eunice. Tsaka ka na sumugod kapag nakunan na ni Alice ng video ang eksena." sabi sa akin ni Stephanie sabay turo niya kay Alice na nakaupo sa upuan na malapit rin sa kanila.

"Pero binabastos na niya ang empleyado mo, Steph!" katwiran ko.

"I know, Miss. Pero kapag sumugod ka pa dyan, baka ikaw pa ang mapahiya. Kaya hayaan mo na munang magwala ang bruha, para malaman ng lahat kung gaano siya kawalanghiya. Ako nang bahala kay Laurrie." and Stephanie smirked at me. Hmmm.....sa tono pa lang ng pananalita niya, mukhang may binabalak na naman siyang gawin against my slutty ex-bestfriend. Kaya kahit na labag sa loob kong panoorin ang pagwawala ni Eunice ay mas pinili kong sundin muna ang sinabi ni Stephanie.

Mula sa loob ng opisina ay kitang-kita ko ang matinding pagkapahiya ni Laurrie kay Eunice.

"Sumosobra na talaga ang babaing yan." sabi pa ni Stephanie. I just clenched my hands into fist.

"Ano? Masarap ba? Masarap ba?" singhal pa ni Eunice kay Laurrie.

"Ma'am.....s-sumosobra na ho yata kayo." mahina pero mariing sabi ni Laurrie.

"Aba, lumalaban ka na?! Lumalaban ka na?!" at sinabunutan ni Eunice si Laurrie. Dahil hindi ko na matiis pa na makitang may sinasaktang tao ang ex-bestfriend ko ay tuluyan na akong lumabas ng manager's office. Mamamagitan na sana ako nang biglang may humablot kay Eunice palayo kay Laurrie.

"What do you think you're doing, Eunice?" mahina pero maawtoridad na tanong ni Raffy sa magaling naming co-member.

"R-Ra-Raffy....." nanginginig sa takot na sabi ni Eunice.

"Answer my question. What do you think you're doing?" this time ay galit na si Raffy sa pagtatanong.

"I-inaway kasi ako ng babaing yan!" sabay duro ni Eunice kay Laurrie. "I just told her that she gave me the wrong drink tapos bigla ba naman siyang nagalit sa akin! Itinulak pa niya ako!" 

Sinungaling. Di yun ang totoong nangyari, dahil ikaw ang nag-umpisa ng gulo.

"Ma'am, kayo po ang nagtapon nung drink ninyo sa akin." matapang na sagot ni Laurrie.

"Ikaw kaya ang nagtapon sa sahig! Ba't ko naman gagawin yun?!" pagsisinungaling pa ng walangya.

"H-hindi ko alam. Hindi ko nga alam kung bakit mo ako pinag-iinit---"

"Oh shut up, stupid! At ikaw pa 'tong malakas ang loob na magsinungaling!" 

"Young Master Raffy, she's lying! That girl is a liar!" sabad ng alipores ni Eunice na si Rachel.

"Oo nga! Liar!" dagdag ng isa pa niyang alipores na si Clarissa.

"See, Raffy?!" confident pang sabi ng gaga.

"Raffy, hindi ako nagsisinungaling! Hindi ako sinungaling! Hindi ko alam kung bakit nila ako inaaway! Nananahimik ako!" depensa ni Laurrie sa kanyang sarili.

"Enough of this." pag-awat ni Raffy sa kanilang dalawa. 

"Raffy, maniwala ka sa akin. Wala akong ginagawang masama. Kung ano yung in-order niya sa akin, yun po ang ibinigay ko. Alam kong mali ako na pinatulan ko siya, pero maniwala ka sa akin, hindi ako ang nag-umpisa ng gulo. Mahal ko ang trabaho ko, alam mo yan. Hindi ako tatagal ng dalawang taon dito kung hindi maayos ang performance ko." umiiyak nang sabi ni Laurrie. 

"Raffy, wag kang magpapaloko sa drama queen na 'to. She's lying! Malas ng manager ng cafe na ito dahil nagkaroon sila ng empleyadong palpak na nga, sinungaling pa!" Aba't! Talagang hindi ka magpapaawat sa mga kasinungalingan mo ha!

"Sandali, sandali. Yun ba talaga ang nangyari?" tanong pa ni Raffy sa kanila. 

Sasabad na sana si Alice sa usapan nang may customer na tumayo sabay lapit sa kanila.

"Excuse me, mawalang galang lang po. Nakita po namin ang buong pangyayari. Wala naman pong kasalanan yung barista. Yung morenang babae po yung nag-umpisa ng gulo." sabay turo nung customer kay Eunice. Ang resulta? Plakda sa kahihiyan ang gaga. Buwahahahaha. Deny pa more.

"Oo nga! Binuhusan mo ng drink yung barista. Bully ka! Eto oh, may video ako, gusto mo, gawin kong viral 'to?" sabad ng isa pang customer.

"Excuse me, Miss." sabad na ni Alice sa eksena. "You don't need to do that, dahil kaka-upload ko pa lang ng video ng babaing yan sa FB, with matching caption entitled #TheGoomaCafeBully. Don't worry, for sure, magiging trending ang viral video niya, because of her bad attitude." 

That shuts Eunice and her two friends. Napailing-iling na lang si Raffy sa mga narinig niya mula sa dalawang customers pati na rin sa mga sinabi ni Alice.

"Fine! Blame me! Tutal ay dyan naman kayo magagaling! Ang pagtulungan ako!" sabay walk-out ni Eunice palabas ng cafe. Taranta namang sumunod sa kanya sina Rachel at Clarissa. Hahahahaha. Nakakatawa talagang makita ang talunan niyang itsura. Sayang lang at 'di ko dala ang camera ko, eh 'di sana nakuhanan ko ang loser face ng gaga. 

"Peps, okay ka lang ba?" nag-aalalang tanong ni Raffy kay Laurrie.

"O-oo. O-okay lang ako." malungkot na sabi ni Laurrie.

Nag-aalala akong lumapit kay Laurrie kasama si Stephanie.

"Are you okay?" worried na tanong ko sa kanya.

"O-oo. Ayos lang po ako, Miss Charlize." sagot niya.

"Grabe na talaga ang mga babaing yan. Pati ba naman sa cafe ko, nagawa nilang mag-eskandalo. Tapos, pati yung empleyado ko na nagtatrabaho ng maayos, pinerwisyo pa nila!" inis na sabi ni Stephanie.

"M-Ma'am Steph, p-pasensya na po kayo sa nangyari. H-hindi ko po ginusto na magkagulo dito sa shop." apologetic na sabi ni Laurrie kay Stephanie.

"Wag kang humingi ng tawad sa akin. Wala kang kasalanan sa nangyari. Don't worry, ako nang bahala sa mga babaing yun. Sisiguraduhin kong magbabayad sila sa ginawa nila sayo." pagtitiyak ni Stephanie sa kanya. "Sa ngayon ay magpahinga ka na muna sa lounge sa loob ng office." 

"S-sige po, Ma'am." at agad na pumasok sa loob ng opisina si Laurrie.

Hindi na rin nagtagal sa cafe si Raffy dahil bumalik na rin siya sa condominium ng UESC. Speaking of UESC Condominium, for sure, nakarating na kay Miss Irene at kina Tito Charles ang ginawang kalokohan ng magaling kong ex-bestfriend. Dahil tinablan na naman ako ng excitement at curiosity ay agad na akong nagpaalam kay Stephanie. Pupunta ako sa condominium para alamin kung ano pang kamalasan ang naghihintay sa mortal kong kaaway.

"Gather troops to kill off the pirates?" Pei Zi Yun laughed coldly when he heard this as he shook his head, "That is too difficult to achieve. Far too difficult."
"With Top Scorer Pei’s capabilities, how can you find this difficult?" The Governor paused to ask.
"This isn’t an issue of capability." Pei Zi Yun coldly answered. "Firstly, it’s clear that these pirates have some insider support, since they could last this long and carry out such sustained attacks. It must be that there’s a spy within the government or military."
"Besides, I’m undeserving of such praise. I’m just a mere Scholar, without any official titles or positions. If I were to make any decisions, nobody would follow my orders. If they ignore my orders, we might lose the opportune timing to attack, and lose the battle against the pirates. When that happens, who shall take responsibilities for the failure?"
At this point, Pei Zi Yun stood up, "Your excellency is really putting me in a spot. I am just but a mere Scholar, and am ignorant in many other matters. Such a huge responsibility is beyond me."
"Hold it there!" The Governor called out, and looked at Pei Zi Yun walking away resolutely. He then broke out into a smile, "What if I give you a title of military commander, and allow you to use the Emperor’s imperial tile. What would you say?"
With the stabilisation of the dynasty, the Imperial gave huge amounts of authority and autonomy to many high ranking officials, including the Governor, Inspector-General and Imperial Envoys. These officials were granted an imperial tile, which possesses the authority of the Emperor himself.
"Your excellency, that shows your sincerity in this matter. I was too brusque and might have offended your excellency, please forgive my ignorance." Pei Zi Yun gave a serious look as he bowed down, "But this matter is huge, and cannot be resolved with just a few words."
"I’d like to ask your excellency to hand me the reports on the navy admirals and pirates please."
"That’s for sure." The Governor smiled as well as he raised his tea cup. Pei Zi Yun then stood up and bade his farewells. The Governor escorted him to the door of the room, as Pei Zi Yun bowed once. After walking through the corridors, he stopped at the fountains and allowed the cold wind to run through him. Only after that did he deeply exhale.
‘If we were to talk about authority, the Governor has more or less the same level of authority as the Crown Prince. It’s only the matter of status which the Crown Prince trumps over him.’ Thinking up to this point, Pei Zi Yun forced a laugh, ‘Doesn’t that mean that just by having a higher status, one would be able to win over the entire country and rule?’
‘Of course a Crown Prince should have more authority than a Governor, especially with an heir now. The Crown Prince from the past clearly lacked influence and power without an heir. Now that he has a son, it’s clear that his authority is starting to recover.’ Pei Zi Yun shook his head and walked out of the door, ‘Forget it. What’s the point of thinking so much. At least there’s some progress made in attempting to get my Dao Master status. I shall return back and read up on the Dao manual, I have been neglecting it these past few days.’
Fu Mansion, Study Room
A single incense stood in the burner, and several candles were laid around the room, illuminating it. There were several art pieces made up of green bamboos, flowers and plum blossoms.
Behind Pei Zi Yun was a painting of a tall mountain, with a waterfall falling from a cliff. Just by looking at the life like painting would cause one to prick his ears for the sound of water gushing.
At this point, Pei Zi Yun’s head was bowed as he read a Dao manual.
Page by page, he read through and flipped. At this point, he was reflecting on whatever he had read, as if he didn’t agree or couldn’t understand something. He then skipped it and continued reading. He would occasionally flip back to the previous page to re-read the contents once more before flipping forward again. When he finished reading, he thought hard about it and reflected, allowing the meaning to sink into his heart.
The few candles around him were almost used up. Pei Zi Yun walked towards a cupboard to retrieve a few more candles and kept reading. After a long time, he stretched out a hand to close the manual.
The cover page of the manual was a deep shade of red. There were golden inscriptions of flying dragons and the huge words on the center were, "Free Cloud Sect Dao Manual."
Pei Zi Yun then placed the entire manual in front of the candles, and allowed it to catch fire. He then dumped the entire manual into a pot of fire. As if it was covered in oil, fire swallowed the entire manual effortlessly and smoke drifted into the air.
This manual was a copied version of the actual manual from Free Cloud Sect’s monastery. There were many Dao arts and techniques unique to Free Cloud Sect only. Hence, he burnt it after reading the contents so as not to allow its secrets to be leaked.
Seeing the manual burning up in such bright rays of light, Pei Zi Yun then sat down to ponder and reflect over whatever he had just read.
‘If one wishes to cultivate in this world, he would need to have intelligence. The more intelligent he was, the faster he would be able to cultivate. In a sense, intelligence was a sort of innate ability as well.’
‘It could also be said that it was the potential of a person’s spirit.’
‘Or in other words, spiritual roots.’
‘According to theory, condensing internal Qi and transforming it into energy was the most basic level of Dao arts.’
‘Opening the gates to heaven was a process in which the Yin Master was being created. This actually cultivated a person’s level of intellect. Hence, when discussing the formation of Yin Master, every time a person was being reincarnated, his foundation of intellect would be sturdier than in his previous life.’
‘However, this intelligence wouldn’t be able to be tapped on in the person’s newly reincarnated life.’
‘Most of the time he wouldn’t even be able to remember anything from his past life. Even if he was able to remember, his personality and character would’ve been different, thus making it impossible to deploy his past experiences and intelligence. It would just be present, making it easier to cultivate, but unable to be utilized.’
‘Zhang Yun was the reincarnation of an Elder in the previous life. Even if he could retrieve the memories from when he was an Elder, he would still follow the thought process and personality of the person he currently is, and not of the Elder.’
‘Then would it be said that the Elder has permanently died and ceased to exist anymore?’
‘Hence, even if someone had the ability to be reincarnated, the maximum number of times he could do that was thrice. After that, the Yin Master and the person’s soul would be separated and exist separately.’
‘However, the amount of spiritual energy available aren’t enough to even sustain all the Yin Masters, much less the rest of the other True Sovereigns. In this world, there isn’t enough spiritual energy which exists like oxygen, free for all the cultivators to breathe in and utilize.’
‘Hence, even when rogue cultivators manage to become Yin Masters, without a Paradise to aid them, it would be extremely difficult for them to take corporeal form. Should they for some reason be able to make it to the first or second levels of Yin Master, it would be considered extremely rare. As for rogue cultivators being able to make it to the fifth or sixth levels, where they were able to travel to the underworld, it would require a great stroke of luck.’
‘As for a rogue cultivator attaining the seventh or eighth levels and removing their names from the Underworld was almost unheard of. It was impossible for rogue cultivators to reach the full circle foundation and attain Earth Immortal status.’
‘Hence having Paradise was extremely important to provide the necessary amount of spiritual energy for conducive cultivation. A cultivator belonging to a sect with Paradise would even be able to cast spells without having to speak incantations, or move his hands in motions in order to achieve the desired effect. In fact, as long as his skill level was high enough, all he had to do was think it in his head, and he would be able to conjure it. Naturally, this was something rogue cultivators wouldn’t be able to do.’
‘What was most important was to accumulate enough spiritual energy over time in order to advance to Earth Immortal status.’
‘Of course, a Saintly Earth Immortal and an Earth Immortal were two separate matters altogether.’
‘And Paradise was a result of a transformation of mountains in the presence of abundant spiritual energy.’
‘However, there were limited mountains with such conditions. A mountain had to be near a long, flowing stream with sufficient spiritual energy for it to eventually be converted into a Paradise landmark. Should this mountain be sucked dry even before it could become Paradise, it would decay and turn into a barren desert.’
Thinking this way, Pei Zi Yun then recalled the last Legacy which he obtained and called out softly, "System!'
A small white plum blossom appeared before his eyes expanding rapidly before turning into an information interface.  It was almost transparent as it floated around, details began to form before his eyes.
"Dao Principles: Intermediate"
Novice, intermediate, advanced and master were the levels used to determine proficiency. At this point, he had already grasped the intermediate level when it came to theory and logics of Dao arts. Understanding all these were just the tip of the iceberg. Going deeper would enable him to reach the advanced level.
"Floating Sphere!"
A floating sphere then appeared on his forehead. It was a round sphere with a tinge of transparent gold surrounding it. There was white energy swirling within the sphere, filling it up like smoke.
It appeared on his forehead, taking the exact same place where the Plum Blossom usually was. This was because it was also a manifestation of the Plum Blossom. 
‘Looks like I can use it now.’ Pei Zi Yun looked at the figures reflecting his Dao Principles as he activated the white wisps of energy. Instantly, the energy poured out of the sphere and into Pei Zi Yun’s head. He then felt a certain clarity, and a level of understanding descended down upon him. 
"Dao Principles : Intermediate (0.01%)
Although the difference was very minor, the energy within the sphere had been dramatically reduced. Pei Zi Yun smiled, ‘I used to absorb the Legacies directly from the sources, which gave me adverse side effects. However, the wisdom within the Legacies have been converted into experiences in which I can absorbed without consequences.’
‘All I have to do is think about it, and these experiences can be used to improve myself. Of course, the experiences from the Legacies have to be of the same type of Dao arts in order for it work.’
‘Those which I've saved up previously, I can use now.’
Just as he thought of this, countless of Dao arts information rushed in. What was most surprising was that these information weren't found in the books or manuals that he had read previously. Instead, the information and knowledge came with his experience from all the combats he had been in.
"Continue using it!" Pei Zi Yun didn't hesitate the slightest as he expanded all the experience within the sphere. As the white wisps of energy were being absorbed, his mind lit up and copious amounts of experience poured in. 
"Boom!" 0.01%, 0.1%, 10%, 20%, 50%, 70%, 90% all the way to 99%. When it reached the 100% mark, a bright ray of light pierced through his mind and he felt nearly invincible. It felt like as if all the wisdom and knowledge in this world was his to grasp.
That wasn't true of course.
However, I should put all these experience to good use.’
When he noticed that the sphere had been completely drained out, he finally stopped. When he looked up, the changes were visible.
"Dao Principles: Advanced (33.5%)"
‘Hssss, I broke through to the advanced level and even managed to ascend up to 30%.’
‘Ai, even my Dao arts have improved.’
"Dao arts: 33 Variations, Advanced (17.9% Completed)"
"Stars Transposition: Level 3 (5.1% Completed)"
"Cloud Form: Level 1 (29% Completed)"
Pei Zi Yun then thought that he was indeed right. Understanding the theory and principles behind such matters would see improvement. Adding to Dao Principles was even better than spending all the experience directly on Dao arts, as the principal aspects would not benefit.
‘My Free Cloud Sect’s Cloud Form was an extremely powerful skill. It would cause a person’s reactions and reflexes to increase. I didn't even train it, but have already learnt the first level.’
‘However this skill is only limited to six levels.’
‘Even the Stars Transposition has improved considerably. After reaching the third level however, prestige no longer improves it.’
‘Looks like, Dao arts and Divine Powers are two wheels of a moving vehicle. They can't do without each other.’
‘It's a pity that all the wisdom and experience from the previous Legacy has been depleted. Looks like I have to find a new Legacy soon in order to improve myself. This is actually like cheating, as I improve in strengths to quickly. It's clear that I'm far from my maximum potential. Although I wonder how much stronger I will be then.’
‘The Divine Power is also a sort of Dao art which had been perfected to the ultimate level, and thus evolved to become a Divine Power.’ 
‘History said that rogue cultivators were vast in numbers from when time began. After centuries of cultivation where they finally came to understand Dao arts, they pursued it further and developed it to become Divine Powers. That was the origin of the Daoist Sect.’
Governor’s Mansion
The admiral of the navy, Chen Ping was of a tall and sturdy build and had a stern cheek, adding to his overall formidable demeanor. At this point, he sat upright in the waiting room like a cat who had just been defeated. At this point his fierce demeanor had all but remained alongside him.
There was a cup of hot tea atop the wooden table. There were jade green drawings of flowers along the porcelain cup as steam wafted over it. Chen Ping looked visibly upset, as if something heavy was on his mind. When the servant brought this cup of tea over, he didn’t even notice her entrance. Instead, he glanced over nervously at the Governor who was sitting in his chair.
The Governor seemed to have forgotten that the navy admiral was seated just beneath his seat. He was flipping through his documents, and drinking his tea leisurely. 
The entire hall was silent except for the sound of the Governor flipping through his documents. Chen Ping looked even more uneasy within the silence, as his face was filled with fear. In his heart, he thought, ‘Could it be that the Governor thinks I’m not doing enough in attacking the bandits, and wish to scold me for it?’
The more he thought about this, the more uneasy he felt. In fact, he realized he’d never felt more uneasy in his life apart from the past few days.
Ever since the dynasty had stabilized itself from the previous chaotic world, the Emperor had been clearly steering the nation towards peace. Hence, the military men were often placed in high regard. Now that peace was upon them, there was a huge difference in the treatment of military officials, causing Chen Ping to question his own usefulness towards the regime. He gritted his teeth and stood up before bowing, "Respects to the Governor, your excellency. I wonder what is your excellency’s purpose for calling me here today. If I have done something wrong, please forgive me. This soldier is just a military brute, and might not understand many things. If I deserve any punishment for my ignorance, please do not hesitate to mett it out accordingly."

"What?!" the ladies yell.

"I said... you are NOT going! Should I repeat myself?" Leo mutters.

"What's your problem?" Primrose asks in annoyance towards him.

Leo just glances at her and leaves.

"What's wrong with your brother?" Chealsy asks Mon without masking her annoyance.

"Why do you even care?!" he hisses.

"Fuck you, Leonard William!" Stephanie screams.

Chealsy and Primrose gasp for what happens next.

They watch Leo talking with two female students. They are obviously flirting with him which he appears to enjoy.

Then, he gives them the tickets. The ladies jump for joy--- one of them hugs him while the other clings to his arm. He chuckles at their reaction.

"Oooooh! Someone's having fun!" Jay says, obviously teasing Primrose.

"Let's go. The black sheep is looking for us!" Ben exclaims after reading a message on his phone. The lords rave as they walk away, leaving the ladies be consumed by their emotions.

"Unbelievable!" Chealsy scoffs.

"Are you okay?!" she asks Primrose, who is teary- eyed. Primrose closes her eyes to prevent the tears from falling.

"You can't go on like this, girl! I have an idea how to avenge yourself!" Stephanie says with an evil smile.

"Oh! I smell something wicked, and I like it!" Chealsy utters excitedly.

"How?" Primrose asks.

"Go to class. Try to survive the day and I will tell you the game plan at the mansion tonight," she replies.

At the mansion...

"He did what?!" Sophia exclaims in disbelief upon hearing about their ticket.

"No! The tickets are already sold out!" Letizia yells, utterly angry.

"Sophia, please. You are our only hope," Stephanie begs.

"How am I gonna help?"

"I heard that professor Khaeli and the prince are among the VIPs," Stephanie says.

"Really?!" Camille blurts out. She nods.

"So? What do you want me to do?" Sophia asks.

"Convince Jason to tag us along. I know he will listen to you."

"I am not sure I can do that!"

"Of course, you can!" Camille encourages.

"Besides, we want to get even with those brutes!" Stephanie adds.

"I can't promise. But, I'll do what I can," Sophia says. The ladies cheer.

"Thank you. Thank you!" they say.

Sophia finds Jason drinking alone at the veranda. She clears her throat. Jason turns and smiles at her.

"What are you thinking so deeply about? Care to share?" she says while joining him. 

"Want some?" he says, offering her a bottle of beer. She shakes her head. 

"Na. I don't have any intentions getting drunk tonight," she replies. He chuckles.

"Out with it. I know you came here for something," he casually says. Sophia turns to him.

"What can I say? You're really brilliant at reading people!"

"So... what is it?"

"Can you do us a favor?"

"Depends on what favor you're gonna ask!"

"Can you squeeze us in... uhm... in James' concert? Please! I know you and professor Khaeli are among the VIPs! Please... please..." she begs.

"Hmmmm... if I can you let in, what can I get in return?" he asks, seemingly amused by the situation.

"What?!" Sophia asks, surprised by his question. Clearly, she hasn't thought about any trade or something when she begged. She thinks for a moment.

"I can't think of anything that~"

"What about a date?"

"What?!"

"What?!" he mimicks. She is flustered, unable to speak.

"Is that the only word you can speak of?"

"Fuck you!" she curses. He laughs out loud.

"Anyway, are you saying that you can make it happen but I have to date you in exchange?" she asks. He nods.

"Are you insane?" Sophia exclaims.

"I was in my right mind... before you came~" he says nonchalantly. She scoffs.

"Is it fun, huh?" annoyed by his nonchalance, she says.

"Nope. So--- going back to business. Are you in?" he asks.

"Let me think first. I don't want to rush into things," she replies, blushing at his flirting.

He chuckles. 

"Aha! Are you thinking about a romantic date? Silly woman!" he teases. Sophia can't believe that Jason's playing with her emotions.

"Huh! In your dreams! I never liked you as a man for your information!" she hisses.

"So~ is that a yes?" he asks.

"Fine! Just make sure that we will have the best seats!" she replies.

He chuckles.

He smirks. Then, he looks at her.

"I will reserve the front seat for you. See you at six am for our breakfast date! Don't be late!" he says. Then, he leaves, making her confused in a stirred emotion.

"What does he want this time?" she thinks.

"What did he say?" Camille whispers when Jason leaves.

"He said that he's gonna do it!" she replies, leaving the "dating" bargain out. She doesn't want to stir any rumors about them.

"You're the best!" the ladies cheer. She just smiles.

"But... you know, I really think... he likes you~" Primrose comments.

"Likes me? My ass! He is so full of himself!" she replies.

"Come on! He's deliciously charming to be honest!" Chealsy says.

"When he looks at you, it's always full of intensity! I'm sure... he's into you!" Stephanie exclaims.

"Dream on, girls! And 'Thank You'!" she says sarcastically.

They look at her, teasing and smiling playfully and they laugh.

Sophia escapes from the girls' brutal teasing and goes straight to her room.

Beep.

Her face creases to find that Jason sends her a message. 

'What is he up to now?' she thinks as she opens her inbox.

"Good night, Sophie! Dream of yours truly!"

She can't believe her eyes what just happened.

"Damn! Stop pestering me, will you?" she replies.

"Pestering?! I just sent you a good night message~"

Smiling to himself James kept reading till he no longer heard the soft buzz of the Prodigy System telling him that his proficiency was rising.

He brought his proficiency panel up and discovered a very important thing.

Spanish Proficiency: 5%

Mathematics Proficiency: 70%

Physics Proficiency: 10%

Biology Proficiency: 15%

Art of Manipulating: 80%

'Why is the Art of Manipulating capped at 80%?' Thought James to himself, he knew that in the manga Lelouch's main power wasn't the Geass, the thing that saved him from countless bad situations was his silver tongue and his intelligence so it couldn't have capped at 80% as this wasn't even a basic skill.

'Let me try this for myself' Thought James as he went to the store's clerk while preparing himself to use for the first time a skill given by the Prodigy System on others.

Putting his most charming smile James told the store's clerk "Good afternoon, I'll take this manga called 'Code Geass'. I heard that today the store has a discounted price for all mangas as they don't sell as much as the other things in the store, such a shame really."

"Really? Nobody told me about a discount today, we have discounts in comics just on Wednesdays as it's a slow day for us. Code Geass is one of the favorites in the store, it's one of my favorites too" The store clerk responded with a polite smile.

'Shit, I think I tried to be 'suave' on my own and I didn't let the skill do its job, let me try this again' Thought James as he felt a little embarrassed but didn't show it in his face.

"My apologies, I may have heard the wrong information. This is really a loss of face for me, how about I treat you with some pastries as soon as you finish your work here and you tell me a little about the next volumes of Code Geass, who knows I may even buy them all" Said James as the words flowed through his mouth.

"It has been some time since someone tried to flirt with me. You know what? I'm in, the name's Stephanie, a pleasure to meet you." The store's clerk that now I know is called Stephanie told me while she had a warm smile on her face.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful lady. I assume you finish working at 7 so I'll be waiting for you at the manga section, we'll go to a nearby cafeteria that I know its opened all night" James told Stephanie as he smiled, picked up his Code Geass manga and went to the manga section again.

'That didn't go as well as I wanted, I need to start trusting the Prodigy System more. I want to know everything this life has to offer and I will not let my doubts hold me down' Thought James as he knew that a part of himself still thinks that he's in a dream.

Shaking his head he brought back the Code Geass manga and put it in its place, picking up another manga called 'One Punch-Man' and started reading it.

What he didn't notice is that a new skill appeared with the other two skills he already had.

"They are our cousins Anne and Mary!" Leo exclaims irritatedly.

The ladies lower their heads in shame. They look at each other in a 'what- the- fuck- did- we- do?'

"What is going on here?" Ron asks.

"Well, I guess we have some trust issues here. You'd better resolve it before everything goes south! Now, get your asses out here as I try to clean the mess you have created!" I order. 

Then, they apologize and go out in one file.

"Hah! Pathetic emotions," I mutter as they go.

Outside, the lords and ladies decide to go to the garden. Since the sun is up, the veranda is too hot for anyone to stay.

They gather at the gazebo. The ladies explain what happened while the lords listen. Then, they laugh at them.

"Can I just move to the mountains where no one can find me?" Camille blurts out, still putting the ice pack on her forehead--- then on her nape.

"What a fantastic idea! Your relatives might be there preparing you a welcome party," Jay answers sarcastically.

"Can you do me a favor? If you go to a mountain, please bring these women with you," Leo grunts. 


Camille sticks out her middle finger at them. Jay throws her his shoe which she catches and tosses to the shallow pond. 

"What the hell! Are you out of your mind? Go and get it before I throw you there!" Jay yells as he looks at his shoe, sinking to the bottom of the pond.

"Touch her and I'm gonna kill you!" Ron hisses at him.

"Then, go and get the fucking shoe!" Jay shouts at Ron.

"Haysh! Can you just shut up?! Damn~ it's still morning!" Leo groans as he closes the book he's reading.

"How can I shut up if my other shoe is submerged in there?" Jay irritatedly says as he points at his shoe.

Then, Mon and Ben hold Jay while Leo and Ron remove his other shoe and toss it into the pond. Jay screams and curses when they let him go.

"Problem solved! If you shout once more, you will follow your beloved shoes!" Mon grunts at him as the other lords give him a warning look. 

So, he vents his anger to the innocent well- maintained bushes.

"God! My head feels like it's gonna explode!" Primrose cries as she bangs her head on the table.

"Here~"

Leo and Mon simultaneously offer a cold drink. Leo offers an orange and ginger juice while Mon has a lemon and honey water in his hand.

Primrose looks at both the glasses and then the lords. Then, she takes the soup on Letizia's hand and drinks it.

"Thank you!" Chealsy says jovialy as she grabs the juice from Leo's hand. He pinches her ear for taking the drink from his hand. 

Cheasly screams before drinking it.

"This is delicious!" Stephanie exclaims as she drinks the lemon water she takes from Mon. He just shakes his head.

"Why are you all so mean?" Letizia says while pressing her temple with her thumbs. Her boyfriend pulls her to his chest and massages her head.

"Becoz' you are all reckless! For what? Your childish emotions?!" Ben yells and flicks Letizia's head.

"Childish emotions? Love is an emotion that makes us mature!" she replies as she turns and makes a puppy face.
Then, Ben cups her face and plants butterfly kisses.

"Eish! Get a room!" Mon shouts as he bumps their heads. They moan in pain.

"Are they really your cousins?" Stephanie exclaims.

"Why do you even call them your girlfriends? Incest?" Chealsy asks as she grimaces in disgust.

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeew!"

"Yuck!"

"Shit! That's disgusting!"

"That's creepy~"

The ladies react as if they wanna throw up and some even hug themselves as if having chills to their bones.

The ladies groan in pain as Leo hits them with his pocketbook.

"You insane?!" he growls.

"Oi! You and you dirty minds!" Mon mocks at them.

"Anne is my brother's inspiration to become a doctor. When Leo saw her performing CPR and saved a man who collapsed in front of the school gate, he immediately fell in love with the idea of being a doctor," he explains.

"Aaaaah!" the ladies react.

"How about Ron?" Camille asks.

"Mary is like my second mom. She has always been there for me since our parents live abroad," Ron replies.

 "Hmmmm.... but why do you call them 'Girlfriend'? Chealsy asks.

"They are their ideal women! Strong, kind, passionate, compassionate and--- beautiful!" Jay answers.

Camille and Primrose pucker their lips in disappointment.

Meanwhile....

"Yes, Rob. Are you sure?" I ask as I walk around my room.

"Yes. Tell the lords to prepare. They have to leave at midnight. A plane will be waiting for them," he replies. 

"Very well, brother. Tell the manservant to prepare the cottage. All of them are expected to go. Yes. Yes. I understand. Bye."

I end the call. 

I lean on my table as I fidget.

Then, I exhale and go to the lords.

"Come," I tell Jason when I find him walking down the stairs.

"Where?" he asks uninterestedly.

"Hell~" I answer with a grin. "Wanna join?"

"Sure! You might get lost," he answers sarcastically. 

"Eish! I am older than you, so you have to show some respect!" I scold. 

He puts his hands in his pocket and faces me. He is way taller, so I have to look up. 

"What?!" I ask as he looks at my face intently. 

"Tsk! Are you a reptile or somethin'?" he asks when we reach the living room.

"What?!"

"You're face is full of scales!"

"What the fuck! Are you saying that my face is dry?" I yell before kicking his ass. He ignores it as if nothing happened. 

He smirks. 

"Weak!" he teases.

I glare at him. Then, I do a quick step forward and give him a turning long kick. To my dismay, he is quick enough to step back, evading my kick.

"Not bad--- for an old woman!" he teases.

I punch his arm. Before I walk past him. He chuckles as he follows me.

We head to the garden.

"Prepare your luggages. Your flight will be at midnight!" I inform them. 

"What?"

"All of us?"

"Where will we go this time?"

The lords ask as the ladies just stare at us with confusion painted on their faces.

"All of you will go--- including you!" I say as I look at Jason.

"Where is the destination this time, mom?" Leo asks excitedly.

"Isla del Fuego!"
