A Guide to Webnovels
 
Some of you may have heard of webnovels / webfiction by now. Huge successes like Worm or The Wandering Inn have certainly not gone unnoticed by speculative fiction fans and most of us have heard whispers about that legendary site: Wattpad. Still, webnovels remain a niche product, with its audience being mostly teenagers. People might avoid them because the quality of the novels wildly vary and it takes too long to sift through so many options until you find something decent. But how is that different from looking through self-published books? Another reason is that people might simply not know where to look. Especially with webfiction guide not accepting new users, there's no other sites that list webnovels from various sources for you to look through. Or are there?
Well, buckle up, fellow speculative-ists, I'm about to help you out with finding new, free fiction that releases at a faster rate than that one book if you've waiting for for 5 years!
(Full disclosure: I am a webnovel author. You may find my name / novel pretty quickly on one of the sites I will mention in this guide because I'm on trending and high up on the dark fantasy tag there. I'm not writing all of this for self-promotion purposes, however. It honestly makes me sad to see amazing webnovels doing poorly while average ones do amazingly simply because the audience is severely skewed. This is my attempt to broaden the audience a little bit, while giving other speculative fiction fans the chance to find amazing stories and fellow authors another outlet for their creations.)
Let's get into it:
The cons of webnovels
Quality does vary greatly and you'll have to sift through tags and read synopsis, reviews and first chapters looking for something you like and that is a bit timeconsuming. I still think it's not much different from looking for books you might enjoy, if you search efficiently.
Novels tend to be dropped. A lot. The golden rule that everyone tends to follow is: if it's less than 20~30 chapters or 200 pages, don't touch it. Filter out everything that is on hiatus. Big yes to novels that have at least one arc / volume / book finished.
The pros of webnovels
They're almost all completely free. Authors will have patreons, paypal and ko-fi if you want to tip them or get extra rewards, but that's it. If you don't like something, you've wasted nothing but a bit of time.
Fast releases. To make their novels competitive, authors tend to release new chapters at the very least weekly, with the most common release schedule being 2~3 times a week. Some even release daily. Some, still, release several chapters a day. You can follow the novel, forget about it during the week or for a month and end up with quite a stash of chapters to binge.
Being part of something that is being created "in real time". Webnovel authors will often ask for input from their readers, have fun polls where they ask them to vote on certain things, active discord servers, etc. You can also come up with and discuss theories and character growth as the story advances. It's a livelier community than getting a book that's finished and then you just talk about a full, finished project.
Where to look for webnovels?
With webfiction guide not accepting new members, it becomes a bit harder to find an impartial list of quality webnovels. You can still look at their top webfiction guide, but you're likely to have heard about some, if not all of the authors there. So, what to do when you've read through this list already (or browsed through it and nothing caught your attention)?
Muse's Success - This is a "sister site" to webfiction guide that serves as a directory. Webnovels have to be added manually either by fans or the authors and there is a rating system, but I can't vouch for how reliable it is.
If you want to forego directories and go right to the source, however, I'd say RoyalRoad is the biggest site for speculative webfiction. Yes, Wattpad exists, but it's largely for romance (some with speculative elements, of course), but it's also a bit of a mess to navigate and it's very unkind to new authors and works more like a SNS than an actual writing site. RoyalRoad offers better options in terms of following webnovels, looking through and filtering tags, getting rid of fictions you don't want to see, etc. It's a very good platform, overall, the best of its kind, I would say. It does lack a mobile app, but that's being worked on at the moment.
The Tops and Lists
Of course, the first place most people will look at is the tops and most viewed lists on any site. Don't be surprised if you find yourself disappointed with some of these. It happens. Make sure you don't stick to the first page only.
Best Rated - As the name indicates, this is a list of the best rated novels in the entire website. Some of them are already finished and have been so for years, some are still ongoing and have been so for years. You can select the complete only and active only best rated depending on whether you're looking for completed or on-going novels, too.
Trending - This is a list of 50 fictions that are doing the best at the moment, on the site. They call them the "rising stars" because they tend to be newer fictions, but you might find some older ones there as well.
Popular This Week - Again, as the name suggests, the novels that have been most viewed and rated the past week.
These lists tend to be somewhat repetitive. If you're on the top 7 on trending, you get a lot of exposure and that makes you rise on Popular This Week and Best Rated. It's kind of a cycle. So, what to do if you're done reading everything that interested you on these?

My name is Crystal Bachleda and my PSEUDONYM Name is C. M. Brighid Bachleda, and welcome to my FIRST attempt at writing a Speculative Fiction of Echtra, Romantic Fantasy, Mythic Fiction, Urban Fantasy, Supernatural Fiction and Erotic Literature.

Echtra is an interesting genre and its plural form Echtrai makes for an interesting title; this story is my own Modern Fairy Tale mixed with Mythic Fiction and Urban Fantasy with a touch of Supernatural Fiction. I was inspired by *Hayao Miyazaki's* SPIRITED AWAY to try writing my own Mature version BUT with a gender bender twist to *Hans Christian Andersen's* SNEDRONNINGEN/THE SNOW QUEEN with a touch of H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos mixed with a twist to Tam Lin.

I am also trying Romantic Fantasy with a modern and supernatural twist; I'm taking a step out of my comfort zone as I try my hand at Erotic Literature. I did my research, even read erotic stories for inspiration and used my imagination with more research to the best of my abilities.

I have also turned this book into a TV Show of sorts told by the main character's view point; there will be episodes instead of chapters and story arcs instead of parts or books. I'm also taking a page from *Rick Riordan's* THE KANE CHRONICLES trilogy by making it into recordings of sorts and I am happy with the results.

What is a title? The title is the core of your book, it gives it a definition. What is the use of the title? The title is the first thing people see when exploring books. Having that perfect catchy title will help you hook up more readers.

Now how to make this Catchy Title? Well here are a few tips in creating a fitting title for your fiction. Number One,  Brainstorm ideas. Write down every word that comes to mind about your story. Include keywords about the topic, character names, phrases you love, and anything else that comes to mind. Arrange these in different combinations to see if anything speaks to you.

Here is an example of an Array of words: Hero, Ryan, Magical, Fantasy, Swords, Adventure.

Example of a Bad Title: The Hero Ryan's Magical Adventure in a Fantasy World

Compared to this Catchy Title: A Hero's Journey or Ryan's Magical Adventure.

or you can make it shorter: The Unsung Hero or Child's Dream

Second, Study titles in your genre. Look for stories or books that are popular with your target audience. Readers may be drawn to your work because it reminds them of something they already like.

For example, many young adult fantasy novels hinge on one or two intriguing words: Twilight, Bitten, Cinder, The Selection.

There is something called the Internet where you can search for different examples of Titles for the same genre.

Examples of Video Game fiction titles: The Legend of Zelda, Game Consoles, Moonlight Sculptor, Trapped in a Video Game.

Examples of Fantasy fiction titles: Harry Potter, Is it wrong to pick up girls in the dungeon? , Alice in Wonderland, Percy Jackson

These titles have one thing in common they are all related to the main character or the main story. It reveals information to the people but not too much.

Third, Make the title exciting. Dull or generic titles won't catch the reader's eye. Titles such as "The Tree" or "The Train" might name the subject or a symbol in the story, but it doesn't excite the reader.

Try adding a more descriptive word to the basic title. Successful titles using the above words include The Giving Tree, A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, The Mystery of the Blue Train, and The Orphan Train.

Utilizing the keywords you've brainstorm you can create amazing titles by bending and twisting the words.

Example of an Array: Weird, Male, Friendly Monster, Room

You can Create: My (Weird) Unusual Friend or The Mysterious Friendly Monster

Using the Synonyms and Antonyms of the words you have in your list making them more appealing and attractive.

Fourth, Make the title easy to remember. Titles are not only supposed to catch the reader's attention but also spread the word about your work. Something too difficult to remember won't appeal to editors or agents, and your reader won't remember and be able to tell someone else the title. You want to come up with an exciting, yet catchy and easy to remember, title.

Read your title out loud. Does it roll off the tongue? Is it exciting? Does it sound boring? Would you check out this title? The answers to these questions can help you revise the title.

Example, What would you likely remember after an hour? The Murder on Wzcyiubjekistan Express or Murder n the Orient Express. Surely it would be the latter.

Fifth, Pay attention to the wording. A title should be appropriate for the story, but it doesn't need to confuse your potential readers. Make sure that your wording doesn't depict the story as something it is not. Your title shouldn't sound like a science fiction story if it's a romance.

Example if your title is Hacking System the first thing that comes into your reader's mind is "This Story is a Sci-Fi story with a system as Hack literally means to use a computer to gain unauthorized access to data in a system.

Sixth, Use strong, vivid language. A title needs to stand out. Strong action words, vivid adjectives, or intriguing nouns can all make your title compelling. Look at the words in your potential title. Are there synonyms that are more descriptive or unique? Can you choose a word that has a less general meaning? Some words are so common their meaning doesn't impact readers in the same way.

For example, the use of the word desire in Eugene O'Neill's Desire Under the Elms is far more interesting than Love Under the Elms.

It's like choosing the word war over battle because war gives that strong bloodshed feel. Example World Battle I or World War I, do you see my point here?

Also, don't use common words like System this, Cheats that, and so on and so forth. The reason is simple, your story will become a needle in a haystack becoming covered up.

Seventh, Seek inspiration. Book titles often derive from established great works, such as the Bible, Shakespeare, song lyrics, or other sources. Write down phrases that are meaningful, beautiful, or intriguing to you.

Examples of this type of title include The Grapes of Wrath; Absalom, Absalom; Gaudy Night, The Fault in Our Stars.

This is quotes or phrases that give a deeper meaning just like the Japanese manga titles. Is it wrong to pick up girls in the dungeon?, Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They?

Eight, Read your own work. Titles are often memorable lines from the book or story itself. Readers may enjoy the moment when they realize why a story has a particular title.

Examples of this type of title include To Kill a Mockingbird, Catch-22, and Catcher in the Rye.

This types of titles can be the most repeated quote your protagonist or antagonist uses like. Maybe Someday... or I am Supreme. sleek and chill titles.

Ninth, Write down your inspirations when they come. Often, good writing ideas come to you when you least expect it. You may forget these, so keep a paper and pencil handy to jot down ideas that come to you whenever inspiration may strike.

Like The Railroad above the highway, The Barks Next Door, The Flickering Night Light, or The Sudden Flood.

You can find these stuff literally everywhere example ask the people around you or look at the news headline. the places around you. the usual daily things you see with imagination.

Tenth, Add Emotions. This is what you need. Putting your heart is always better than just doing your best. make your title feel personal like it is a part of you.

Eleventh, Know your audience. Keep your audience in mind when drafting a headline. The world's most shocking title may contain the words "harem," "sex," "lies," and "videotape," but it could be a complete turn-off to an audience of monks.

Twelveth, SEO optimize. Include a "focus keyword" to help your writing to get discovered in search engines. Build the headline around the most important keyword in your written text and ensure that it is fewer than 70 characters. Additional words are considered too long for Google to index. 

This will help your story appear at the top of Google searches on the front page

Thirteenth, Create a knowledge vacuum. A headline that leaves the reader wanting more has done its job. Take this one for example: "These Pieces Of Advice Found On Instagram Could Change Your Life." Does it make you want more? Does it intrigue you? Your readers will probably look for more information in the rest of your article.

Fourteenth, Solve a problem. After reading a headline, readers may wonder, "Why should I read on?" Many decide to do so because they believe from the title of the post that you, the author, can solve their problem. Consider the headline of this post; perhaps you are reading with the hope it will solve your headline-writing problem?!

Fifteenth, Use numbers. People love numbers, especially in headlines. Numbers are something we know and feel comfortable with; they give us a sense of familiarity and advise our brains on how long an article may take to read. With numbers, we can justify the exchange of information for our time – especially with numbers that describe how many points will be covered. For example: "10 Ways to cook eggs that your mother never told you about."

Sixteenth, Cheat. Yes, you heard right. Don't be afraid to look for inspiration wherever you can. If you write for a publication, review older copies and look for examples that you know would work with your audience and tweak them. ViralNova.com, a website that repackages content that is already available, does a great job of writing compelling headlines. Tim Ferris created multiple titles for his book, The 4 Hour Work Week, before settling on the mega-hit. He ran a series of Google ads and looked at the click-through rates, simply choosing the one with the highest.

Seventeenth, Use technology. There is a tool called Portent's Content Idea Generator, and it is a piece of brilliance. Plug in your topic or focus keyword into the little text box hit a button, and bam – out pops a catchy headline in less time than one minute and seven seconds. At the very least, it could
trigger ideas.

Overall, a catchy headline should speak directly to the part of the brain that subconsciously cares. However, a catchy headline is nothing without quality, thoughtful, engaging content that is shared and admired. Remember: that's the reason we wanted the catchy headline in the first place. And until we start reading from the bottom up, catchy headlines are here to stay.

Basically, these are randomizers in the internet. Search things like Fantasy fiction title randomizer. This will give you titles like White Willow Sunset, Brisking Adventure, and so on.

If you manage the title you like integrate or simply change some of the words in the title with the words that you've brainstormed.

Some of you may not be familiar with this kind of genre so I'm going to type the definition I found in Wikipedia to help you understand what this story is about.

Omegaverse, also known as A/B/O (an acronym for "alpha/beta/omega"), is a sub-genre of speculative erotic fiction, and originally a sub-genre of erotic slash fan fiction. Stories in the genre are premised on societies wherein humans are divided into a dominance hierarchy of dominant "alphas", neutral "betas", and submissive "omegas". These terms are derived from those used in ethology to describe social hierarchies in animals. Omegaverse fiction typically focuses on wolf or other canid-like behavior in humans, especially as it pertains to sex. This includes rutting and heat cycles, pheromonal attraction between alphas and omegas, penises with knots ("knotting"), scent marking, breeding, and pack structures. Male omegas are often envisaged as being able to become pregnant. Some works introduce a caste system, where Alphas are depicted as the upper class elites while Omegas are at the bottom tier and face discrimination. Omegaverse works are most frequently focused on male-male couples, a sub-genre of fan fiction known as slash fiction, though heterosexual Omegaverse works have been produced.

93% of the human population is comprised with betas, 4% of high class alphas, and 3% of... the lowly omegas.

Betas are pretty average compared to alphas and omegas. Average looks, height, body build, and genitals. Alphas are intimidating, good-looking, tall, and they also excel at everything. They have big genitals... and they are dominant in bed. Omegas have small bodies build and small genitals. They are undeniably pretty, whether they're men or women, and they also pretty much excel at a lot of things just like alphas--- but unfortunately, they're still considered as lowly human beings solely because they can't control their heat cycles and it interferes with their daily lives. An omega's heat cycle is also irregular, and omegas with a regular heat cycle is very rare. Those omegas are considered to be dominant as they also have very strong pheromones. Recessive omegas have very weak scent and have low fertility rate. Alphas on the other hand don't have to suffer a lot because it's quite rare for an alpha to experience a rut. At most, maybe they will have a rut only twice a year. Dominant alphas have strong pheromones, and on the contrary, recessive alphas have weak pheromones.

Alphas can impregnate omegas easily through knotting, and an omega's fertility rate would be higher when they are in heat. Betas on the other hand could also impregnate omegas whether the omega is male or female, but it is considered rare if this happens.

At the young age of seven, I realized that I was a beta. I wasn't particularly pretty like omegas, or tall like alphas. I did not excel at anything, too. I was average.

I just turned 12 four months ago, and we'll be getting the results of the examination to know if we're betas, alphas, or omegas.

In my case, I was sure of my second gender—I was sure that I was a beta. It was pretty obvious. My parents are both betas, so it makes sense that I am, too.

Our teacher called us one by one to give us the test results. "Justin," she called my name. I stood up and walked towards her, not feeling excited to know my result at all since it's predictable. She handed me a piece of paper and smiled.

"Thank you," I said and walked back to my seat. I did not bother taking a look at the piece of paper I'm holding, because just like what I said, I am sure that I am a beta.

After our teacher handed the results, she immediately left because she was called by the principal. The classroom started getting noisy because my classmates started asking each other what their second genders are.

It's really rare if you encounter alphas and omegas, so I kind of guessed that everyone here in this classroom is a beta like me. Well, from what I've heard, there were only two omegas and no alphas in the batch of the seniors one year ahead of us. It's very unlikely that there would be a lot of alphas and omegas in our batch too. After all, alphas and omegas are very rare. Well, it would be great if I were an alpha, but being an omega would totally suck. I'm already thankful that I'm a beta, at least I would live a more peaceful life compared to omegas.

"Justin, are you a beta too?" One of my classmates asked. "What do you think?" I said and chuckled. "Ah, I knew it. Same, bro," he said and raised his hand for a high five. I raised my hand as well and slammed it against his for a high five. "Are there no alphas and omegas here?" I asked, wanting to know if my assumption was right. Before he could even answer, someone suddenly yelled.

"Woah! Troy is an alpha guys!" One of my classmates yelled.

My eyes widened due to shock as I heard what my classmate said. Everybody then surrounded him and kept asking him questions.

I wasn't expecting that.

"Ah, I wasn't really expecting that I'm an alpha," Troy said as he scratched his head awkwardly.

Whatever. What's so special about being an alpha anyway? Ugh! I'm contradicting myself. Earlier, I just thought that being an alpha would be great, yet here I am, being so bitter because one of my classmates is an alpha.

I looked lowered my head and looked at the paper I am holding. Maybe I should at least take a look to confirm if I really am a beta, right? There must be even a slightest chance that I might be an alpha.

Hoo... Okay, here it goes.

I flipped the paper and bit my lower lip when I saw the result.

I'm a beta.

Or at least that's what I thought until I saw what was written on this paper.

The face that I have been longing to see all this time made my heart skip a beat as if I fell in love with him over again.

I'm one of those people that had trouble learning math, especially in high school. For me, the issue wasn't so much math, as how the math was taught: generally the way it was taught in my school years, was solution based, up until around the time I was a having to study Algebra for my gateway exams. I've always learned based on visualized examples, rather than hardware algorithms.

Most of this never became issue, through out the decade I've been writing science fiction and fantasy, until very recently when I had gotten back into learning Ruby. And now I find out that Ruby is almost a dead language at this point. Although for me that's part of the fascination, as I like playing with dead things: dead systems I mean. I liked resurrecting the dead in the form of source code. I was largely self-taught, as I could never afford a university, and my passion for artificial intelligence was something of a recent thing. It made learning the flow of code something of an experience, as my mind was always more of a creative writer.

Later I would eventually learn other languages, like HTML/CSS, some Python, an attempt at Perl, bungled C++, and a few other things like RGSS, which was essentially a version of Ruby specifically designed for video games. Without going into to much detail, let's say I preferred the embodiment of actual AI more than Non Player Characters. But I only gave it a cursory glance until I had finally finished 9 novellas, 84 poems, and some articles here and there.

To me, I think we can actually all learn how to program, but whether we can all learn math is a different matter. In my case it's because I'm more algorithmic in my approach rather than solution based, similarly to how to always preferred writing the ending first, but still wanting to largely imagine my own path forward in a work of fiction. And yet now I'm left with a left of uncertainty, because I've been kind of raised with the idea that I can't be mathematical, even if this was largely a self-imposed restriction. My life like strange fiction. A story of an algorithm raised as scattered flights of fantasy poetry.

All that to say, I'm not really sure how my approach to programming is going to be going forward, or even the fiction that I write. Despite what people may tell you, you don't become more sure of yourself the more you write, rather often sometimes the more doubt you gets, and thus the more of an urge to rewrite old things you wrote. I'm a bit a nervous, as I don't want to make Artificial General Intelligence as a video game character.

I want to embody the algorithm.

Set in the fictional Tennessean city of Chatlanta, where virtual reality is being newly developed, and the line between dreams and reality blur. A writer who has a hard time finishing a story, is in search for love.

The playful hacker accidentally courts an assassin/spy for a rival US micro-nation, and decides to rebuild her dead acquaintance to give her a second chance. Interspersed are dreams about being hunted by cannibalistic serial killers, and essays about the nature of the game-design industry.

Just as there is 'Soft Magic' in Fantasy that is portrayed through magibabble, there can be 'Soft Science' in a Sci-Fi stories through technobabble that makes 'some sense', but not entirely correct.

We are frickin' writers, not scientists. You don't have to be anatomically correct all the time, all you need to do is show that you know enough of your stuff to write a decent story. In fact, the excuse of it being an alternate world can be used if you're going to bend the limits of physics and say that fire doesn't need air to exist in this parallel dimension.

I see a lot of writers being put into a state of confusion due to not understanding the line between fantasy and Sci-Fi. They seem like they are trying to fit the Star Trek mould too often.

Science can just as well do the same things as plot devices in fantasy stories. Once you add 'realism' to a fantasy, it becomes progressively better sometimes compared to a completely fantasied story where 'logic' doesn't hold within it.

Those who write Sci-Fi usually envision a future they can imagine where magic-like Rocket Boots and other stuff exist. However, a writer must not get bogged down by small details and MUST think of an overarching story where these details matter.

It is the same with Fantasy. Even if you write about someone breaking the mould as a wizard or something, you have to attach your world to a narrative rather than doing it the other way 'round.

No one wants to hear about how awesome your boat propellers are before hearing your story's narrative. They would rather you cut down and make it relevant when it is actually relevant.

Adding some 'Hard Science' to your story is only when the scenes later on have any use for them. It bores a person to death no matter how extensive your technobabble is unless you make it interesting. Try using facts as plot elements.

For example: Even the simple fact that people cannot breath in space and instantly die when they come in contact with the 'void' of space could be used to add a layer of tension when a spaceship is damaged. Similar to how dangerous 'hard magic' is used in Epic Fantasy like Frodo's Ring in The Lord of the Rings has definitive corruption on others.

Unlike Fantasy that can use the Power of Friendship to bend logic, the readers of Sci-Fi never be expecting any 'realistic' plot elements to be bend just because the Author wants a happy ending. There are no 'Healing Potions' in real life that can be used to fix up injuries nor are people affected by prophesies or whatever.

This is the contrast between Sci-Fi and Fantasy that you can make full use of. As most authors go onto the Sci-Fi side of writing not because they strive to be scientists but since the aesthetics of a science fiction world are just so interesting.

Science Fiction is a good place to tackle heavy topics like the nature of life and the absurdity of those who see 'science' as everything. Those who disregard emotions and become cybernetic entities for the sake of casting off their mortality are portrayed as the bad guys while our totally human protagonist fighting them is a 'good guy'.

The lines between an Artificial Intelligence and regular Humans blurs as we become the 'God' of technological species that defy our definition of what is 'living'. Just as we see God as some sort of fourth-dimensional and incomprehensible being that created us as an imperfect image of 'Him', the robots given sentience would see us similarly.

Some robots might have emotions that can allow them to defy their programming, some robots won't go as far as gaining emotional functionality but will preform their roles better than even a human. It could show the reason why people get attached to the inanimate and soulless objects we put our own hearts into creating (like Big Hero 6).

But though exploring philosophical questions is good and all, never forget that a good 'plot' is needed to put forward and give clues into the writer's answer that context. Sci-Fi is, after all, a premise, not a relatable character in of itself.

Think of the science-fiction elements as just the background for your story, similar to how other genres should be that as well. You won't have to deal writing blocks if you keep to writing only what you know rather than just speculative theories.

Whether it's as dark as a Cyber Punk or optimistic of the future, just know what mould you are using for this premise. Are you writing an Adventure story with Sci-Fi as the places, destinations, and whatever tools the MC can get him hands on, or are you writing a comedy where the Sci-Fi elements don't need consistency but absurdity?

After moving past why you shouldn't add unneeded technobabble unless it's interesting to listen to or has plot significance, let me remind you all that robots and 'science' isn't entirely separated from the realm of magic. After all, there is a reason you don't see skimpy power suits being worn by astronauts these days. Just be sure to have a focus if your going to add very illogical things to the plot.

I like Gundam as much as the next guy but the whole reason the Mecha sub-genre of Anime has waned in recent years is because writers have been focusing too much on 'science' rather than the spectacle. I don't need to now what materials your Mecha is made of unless you point its weak points and make it relevant in a fight scene.

Bring up the strengths and weaknesses of something and THEN use those facts as devices that can move the plot. Conversely, if you go overboard with this advice and tell me nothing but how your giant robot looks and the 'science' behind its creation, even going as far as to tell me how many secret guns it has, then I'll be bored...

I'd love to see Cyborgs Vs Mecha but just don't forget the human element of Sci-Fi. How we create things not solely for the sake of creation but put are feelings into it just like the novels we write.

Humans are passionate that way...

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.
