Thunderbolt and flames were both violent enough to produce an equally terrifying force. Hence, Fire-type and Thunder-type made the most compatible Offensive spells.
Merlin already possessed Fire-type Fireball, hence he needed to choose another type of Offensive spell. It seemed that the most appropriate choice would be a Thunder-type spell.
There was an extensive selection of Thunder-type spells in the Dark Magic Region so Merlin had to choose with caution. He wanted a spell that was greatly powerful and was able to cover an expansive attack range. Knowing what he wanted helped in narrowing down his options.
Finally, Merlin made up his mind on a spell named Thunderbolt Net. The distinguishing trait of this spell coincidentally matched with Merlin's requirement.
"Thunderbolt Net. A large net formed by violent Thunder Elements, it covers a radius of more than ten meters. Carries an additional numbing effect! Five contribution points."
All of Thunderbolt Net's unique traits fulfilled what Merlin envisaged in his mind but his face fell when he realized that this ideal spell required five contribution points. 
Earlier, he had made up his mind about Gale and Dark Mist, and those would add up to a total of seven contribution points. In other words, the ten contribution points awarded to Merlin as a new member of the Dark Magic Region would have been left with only three contribution points.
Three contribution points were not enough to exchange for Thunderbolt Net.
Merlin stood in front of the bookshelf and pondered for a long time. At last, he shook his head and gradually regained his mood. He surely felt it was a pity as he had no choice but to temporarily gave up Thunderbolt Net. He would only return for it when he had accumulated enough contribution points.
Therefore, without any further hesitation, Merlin selected Gale and Dark Mist, then went downstairs to the gray-robed Wizard.
"Please exchange these two spells for me."
Merlin said to one of the sluggish gray-robed Wizards without much interest.
This gray-robed Wizard, with his eyes narrowed, threw a sideways glance at Merlin. Then, he revealed a round plate which looked like a casting tool filled with mysterious runes.
"Pass me your Dark Magic ring."
Merlin followed the command obediently. Then, the gray-robed Wizard activated the casting tool, and those densely-packed mysterious runes began to sparkle with faint white light, shrouding Merlin's entire ring.
Merlin witnessed with his own eyes that the number "Ten" on his ring gradually turned into "Three." This indicated that he was now left with only three contribution points.
According to the accustomed ways, the gray-robed Wizard utilized that casting tool to remove the restrictive runes on the two volumes of books so Merlin could read the contents as he wished.
Merlin bowed slightly at the gray-robed Wizard, then turned to leave the Resource Tower.

Once he returned to Wizard Leo's tower, Merlin first flipped open the book that recorded Gale's Spell Model.
There were five Spell Models in the book, all of which were Gale's Spell Model. Merlin was no longer the newbie Wizard who only relied on old man Etha's Spell Manual. He still had some basic judgment although he was unable to construct his own Spell Model.
He decided that all five of those Spell Models in the book were fairly stable, and they must have been constructed by the hands of a powerful Spell Caster, one who had done extensive research on Gale.
In comparison to the Spell Models constructed by old man Etha, the ones constructed in this book were of another level. After all, there were vast differences between Spell Casters supported by systematic learning through spell casters' organization and the roaming Wizards.
It was unlikely that something wrong would happen if Merlin directly simulated these five Spell Models into Awareness based on the instructions on the book, although by doing so would be slightly risky. However, except for roaming Wizards who knew nothing better, no one was daring enough to take the chance.
The Spell Casters must reconstruct the Spell Models themselves to ensure their stability in Awareness.
"Matrix, build a database for Gale, and analyze its Spell Model."
"Beep. The database for Gale is built. Starting to analyze!"
Merlin commenced the easy process of reconstructing Gale's Spell Model smoothly from experience.
"Beep. Analysis over. A total of 253,516 Spell Models have been reconstructed!"
In only brief moments, the Matrix had completed its analysis and more than 250,000 Spell Models were reconstructed. This resulted in the highest number of Spell Models among all that Merlin had reconstructed.
This also proved that the Spell Models in the Dark Magic Region had been perfected, far more than the Spell Models built by old man Etha, which was why the analysis resulted in such a high number of Spell Models.
Without delay, Merlin selected the best Spell Model from the vast selection and then began the final step – to simulate the Spell Model into Awareness using Mind Power.
The simulation of Gale's Spell Model commenced immediately in Mind Power. Merlin was already familiar with the simulation process of a Spell Model. Coupled with his current state of extremely strong Mind Power, Gale's Spell Model was simulated in Awareness within the next few moments.
The moment Gale's Spell Model was formed in Merlin's Awareness, he instantly felt countless green lights, like groups of densely-packed moths, flying frantically toward him.
These green lights were Wind Elements. The abundance of Wind Elements sped directly toward Merlin's Awareness where it was quickly absorbed by Gale's Spell Model and being transformed into Magic Power.
Merlin had successfully constructed Gale into his Awareness but he did not rest. Immediately, he ordered the Matrix to analyze Dark Mist's Spell Model.
Dark Mist's Spell Model was quite complicated. Although there were also five Spell Models in the book, at a quick glance, Merlin had already noticed that these were much more complicated than any of the Spell Models he had constructed before.
"No wonder it requires five contribution points."
Merlin was secretly delighted. The more complicated the Spell Model, the more powerful it was. Although complicated Spell Models also meant an increased difficulty level of construction, with the Matrix, Merlin could cheat his way out and completely ignored the obstacles one may face in the construction of Spell Models.
Soon, the Matrix ended its analysis. Merlin selected the best out of all Spell Models and began to mobilize his Mind Power to carefully simulate Dark Mist's Spell Model.
"Phew..."
Merlin heaved a long sigh, then gathered his concentration on simulating Dark Mist's Spell Model in his Awareness.
Out of the blue, an unforeseen circumstance happened.
"Eh?"
Merlin's expression turned grave. He felt his initial forceful Mind Power suddenly became heavy the second he simulated Dark Mist's Spell Model in his Awareness.
It was as if his Mind Power had been sucked into a vacuum, leaving him gasping for air as if he was being suffocated.

Anyone who could construct a stable Spell Model could become a Wizard — that was the Wizards' ultimate secret! Having been given a new life as the son of an aristocrat and armed with a super quantum computer from his past life, Spell Models game as easily as breathing to Merlin. With this overwhelmingly huge advantage, would Merlin become the greatest Grand Wizard of all time?

Among all the seishin spell that the girls of the third grade had launched, the dwarven princess's earth Shock seishin spell was the first one to hit the enemy team.
As a result of conjuring this seishin spell, Princess Gloriel was able to make all the members of the enemy fall out of balance. At the same time, Princess Gloriel's Earth Shock seishin spell was able to tilt the Fortified Great Wall seishin spell of the enemy team.
The next seishin spell to the enemy team was the Starfall seishin spell that Princess Kyomi had conjured. Numerous projectiles made up of light particles were launched from directly above the enemy team's location.
Without a moment of hesitation, all of them used all their elemental armor to protect themselves against this seishin spell that Princess Kyomi launched toward them from above.
Amidst the resistance of all the members of the enemy team, Aredhel's Wind Blast seishin spell was able to hit one of the enemy team's attackers.
'WHAT!!?' He couldn't even react to the third grader's seishin spell properly to the Wind Blas seishin spell. After all, he was defending against Princess Kyomi's Starfall seishin spell.
One of the attackers of the enemy team was hit directly by the Wind Blast seishin spell before it exploded right in front of him. 
After the Wind Blast seishin spell's suddenly released a great force, one of the enemy team's attackers flew away because of its great recoil. After the WInd Blast seishin spell exploded in front of him, he was thrown away to one of the thick walls of the earth.
Even though he was hurt a little, he was truly fortunate because he was wearing a Copper Guard seishin spell. The impact of Aredhel's Wind Blast seishin spell did not do much to him.
After he was thrown away to the Fortified Great Wall seishin spell of their team's tank, he just stood up with a little reaction. 'Aivora's Copper Guard seishin spell is really reliable! Without this defensive seishin spell, I will probably lose to that junior's seishin spell!'
A moment later, among the seishin spells that the girls had conjured, the next one to hit was Adele's Fiery Assault seishin spell.
After all of the projectiles from the Starfall seishin spell finished their assault toward the members of the enemy team, numerous balls of fire started to barrage the members of the enemy team without mercy.
"Another seishin spell! Brace yourself! Use the Copper Guard seishin spell protect yourself!"
The reaction that all the enemy can do after seeing those projectiles of fire was to brace themselves. They don't have any more time to cast seishin spells because they just finished defending from the Starfall seishin spell conjured by Princess Kyomi. That's why the only thing that they could do was to brace themselves against that seishin spell.
While the Fiery Assault seishin spell was barraging the enemy team, the next seishin spell to reach the enemy team was the Raging Wind Edge seishin spell.
While the enemy was busy defending themselves using their own elemental armors against the projectiles of fireballs, numerous crescent-shaped wind blades started to go toward all of them.
"Another seishin spell!? They used their full force on us! I guess we underestimated them so much!"
As the Raging Wind Edge seishin spell attacked the elemental armors of the members of the enemy team were starting to get seriously damaged. It was the same rank seishin spell as their elemental armors, after all.
While the Raging Wind Edge seishin spell was giving the enemy team a good beating, the Serpent Wave seishin spell that Sabina conjured finally reached the side of the enemy team.
Among the seishin spells that the girls had conjured, the Serpent Wave seishin spell was the slowest one to arrive. Unlike the previous seishin spells that hit, the Serpent Wave seishin spell had to go through the slightly inclined Fortified Great Wall seishin spell before reaching the side of the enemy team.
Fortunately, the Fortified Great Wall seishin spell was tilted to its side thanks to Princess Gloriel's Earth Shock seishin spell. That's why the Serpent Wave seishin spell managed to get through it without any hassle or whatsoever.
The Serpent Wave seishin spell that Sabina had conjured was smaller than that of Prince Aragorn's so it only managed to swallow two members of the enemy team.
Due to its limited size, it only managed to swallow the enemy team's Support and Rearguard that were close to each other. As soon as it reached its target, the Serpent Wave seishin spell froze.
"ANOTHER SEISHIN SPELL!?"
"CRAP! WE GOT CAUGHT!"
Before they were hit by the Serpent Wave seishin spell, they were very busy defending themselves against the two seishin spells that were barraging them. That's why they were shocked beyond belief when they were hit by another seishin spell.
At the top of the Earth Wall seishin spell, Princess Kyomi and the other third grader girls were watching the events. They were watching carefully all the seishin spells that they toward the enemy team's side.
Although they were a little happy deep inside, they did not let their guard down even for a little bit. After all, it was one of the most basic lessons that they have learned inside the Verrater Academy.
A moment later, Aredhel realized something that made her turn white like a sheet. She immediately reported it to her teammates without a moment of hesitation.
She shouted to all of her teammates, "There's only five of them inside that huge walls of the earth! There's a missing member that we did not hit!"
After hearing this, the eyes of Princess Kyomi and the other girls suddenly became wide open. Without a moment of hesitation, they surveyed the area around them.
A moment later, Princess Kyomi suddenly felt something outside the Earth Wall seishin spell that they were standing on. She shouted to Belle and the other girls, "Jump inside the Earth Wall!"

Eliminant venenum (eliminate poison) renders harmless the poison to which the wand points.

Facere parum pudici [name] (make sexually attractive) makes the subject sexually attractive or if followed by a name makes the subject of the spell find the named person sexually attractive.

Magical Wands: A Cornucopia of Wand Lore is that textbook from The Isles of Skye School of Magick. The first chapter begins with a basic overview of magic wands followed by an introduction to magical theory including the four planes of existence (Astral, Spectral, Physical, and Daemonic), the five metaphysical elementals (Quintessence, Air, Fire, Earth, and Water), and the three preternatural phases of Light, Twilight, and Darkness. It also contains sets of the commonly used spells associated with each of these elementals and phases. The first chapter then describes the different types of wands, their components, how they are crafted, and how they are used to cast spells. Chapter two teaches the 17 principles of wand making. Chapters three through six comprehensively cover the materials used to make magic wands including magical creatures (both beings and beasts), magical woods, mystical crystals, and mystical metals. Chapter seven documents 26 famous and infamous witches and wizards, their wands, and how well their wands suited their needs. Chapter eight concludes the textbook by nicely summarizing the contents of the entire textbook. Each of the chapters ends with student exercises, the answers of which are included in the back of the textbook which also includes a glossary, references, and afterword by the editor.

As Fraser awakened he immediately thought of his body stats. 

'AI show me the body stats and show me the reason why I had that severe headache. Was it because the spirit consumption spiked when I tried to split the spell model of dark rope in order to create two dark ropes in reality?' 

[Affirmative, the data from yesterday shows a spike in the spirit consumption which points to a possibility of splitting the spell model dark rope into two when your spirit levels increase] 

[1.38 strength, 1.42 agility, 1.49 vitality, 3.54/3.54 spirit] 

'So there is a possibility that I can control two dark ropes with a single spell model, yet the problem is that it costs too much spirit.' 

Pondering for a while Fraser decided to build the second spell model of dark rope into his spirit room. 

As a single spell model of dark rope would only need half of the space of a usual spell model took, there was still space in Fraser's spirit room. 

Days passed as Fraser quickly formed the second spell mode of dark rope in his spirit room. He formed the basic one as he didn't want to risk a spell model collapse which would cause all of the spell model runes to collapse and thus take away a large portion of his spirit capacity. 

Besides as his modified spell model of dark rope had little to unknown effects Fraser didn't want to risk his effort of spirit cultivation just because his AI calculated one simulation of a modified spell model. 

Thus it was no wonder that Fraser completely shut down the simulation and didn't waste anymore spirit for the simulation. 

Just information on the sidelines, the Basic Knight Apprentice Technique, the following technique of the Basic Knight Breathing Technique still had the flaws of the of the basic knight technique. 

However as the advanced technique only increased the intensity of the workout session, the AI quickly calculated the better version with little to no lasting injuries and almost could be repeated without a limit and is only needing enough food to strengthen the body. 

As Fraser built the spell model with ease, as he already got familiar with the rune creating as well as the linking, he glanced towards his potion stock. 

'After a finishing the second spell model I should walk around the outpost and search for an opportunity to trade the potions for potion materials or other interesting stuff.'

Finishing the second spell model of dark rope Fraser could see a second runic ball floating in his spirit room. 

Though there was a huge change. The spirit room seemed to be smaller. 

'Either the room shrank while I created the second spell model or the spell models increased in size.' 

Glancing into his spirit room Fraser could see two balls covered in runic scriptures floating around the room. 

Yet the available space seemed to be almost nonexistent. 

In order to test out his second spell model Fraser immediately poured spirit into both of his spell models, thus causing two black logs to appear in front of him, each with the length of 6 meters or 20 feet. 

Already knowing the process on how to control the dark rope Fraser skillfully manipulated one black log into a pitch black whip which seemed to be rather fearsome. 

However the other black log remained a black lock and Fraser could feel that although he could control the second spell model the other would always slip through his control. 

Multitasking was almost impossible to normal humans after all the best choice would be to focus on one thing and follow it until it achieves success. 

Thus it was almost like trying to do two completely different things at the same time. Even though the two spell models were the same, each one had different handling and needed full attention. 

'This is a problem. I am able to focus on one spell mode, yet the second spell model is not able to be used in a proper way. So the second spell model is a useless waste of time? Is this the reason why people would not choose dark rope even though one spell model of dark rope needs half the spirit of other spell models?' 

Fraser frowned. This definitely was something that he didn't expect. 

'No wonder it was one of the cheapest spells, it has such a drawback. Besides controlling the spell model seems to be using up spirit constantly. It isn't that practical like the other spell models where you only have to power it once with the spirit in order to have an effect.' 

Now with two spell model in his spirit room, Fraser seemed to be only able to use one spell model. 

'My initial idea was to use the dark rope as a second hand which would be way stronger than my body. It would also allow me to bind or throw things heavier than me. But the power within the dark rope is too strong, it mostly smashes everything and the control of the spell model is really hard.' 

Sitting on his bed Fraser pondered a while in order to find a solution that was considerable. 

However there was none, the dark rope was just too inflexible. Besides being cheap and having a great power if whipped there were little to no positive points for the spell model. 

'Within a moment I choose to do something irrational and how I don't have the resources to continue with the research.'

Fraser regrets choosing the dark rope over something established like the dark spear or anything of the common dark spell collection. 

After all, Fraser had nothing special except the AI, which couldn't be trusted as it was only a simulation of the real world. The simulation of the modified spell model could be missing an important factor. Thus this could kill Fraser if he decided to use the successfully modified spell model of dark rope as there are dangerous results in people who use dead linking patterns. 

Dead linking patterns are modified spell models which are stable until the entire spell model is constructed, then it will cause the entire spell model to collapse and bring a considerable amount of spirit with it into death. 

As Fraser didn't have that much spirit a dead linking pattern would probably cause him to be a braindead dumb idiot. 

However with danger comes the temptation, dead linking patterns had a certain chance of succeeding. Which would result in a powerful spell mode, always guaranteed to surpass the basic spell model in every way? 

Also, a special attribute would get added in. For example the ability to infuse the spell with the surrounding elements, or infuse spells with external objects like poisons and explosion or maybe even add layers of the same spell into one spell in order to increase its power. 

Yet the chance was rare and thus Fraser didn't hope to survive a dead linking pattern. 

Instead, Fraser asked his AI for advice: 

'AI, give me all suggestions on how I can use the two spell models of dark rope and list them. Is there any way to fuse the strength of boy spell models or do you have enough data to analyze a method on how to control both spell models at the same time?'
