a book where you can shamefully promote yours or others novels.....I'm just someone who likes to read and am open to suggestions no judgment I will read bout anything and also hope to spread the love of reading by doing this....so basically this will be a 1ch book with 1 Tag per line and basically just suggest novels that include that tag that you've read that's it....


Pi was fond of reading Chinese books. At first, it was not very used to them. But the Chinese language had a magical power, in which each word was formed by special rules, and each word's form had a special meaning. This was fascinating to Pi. Take the word "mountain" (山) for example, by looking at this character, the peaks of the mountain seemed visible. 
It followed Zhang Zian's suggestions to sit straight in front of the computer and type for a while, then sit on the window sill to look into the distance and observe the busy pedestrians. After a few minutes, as the eyes were adjusted and relaxed, it sat in the basket hammock chair and read books on the tablet, then repeated the cycle. Pi enjoyed the routine.　　
Maybe Pi was already used to searching for information in the complex records of the nameless book. It was able to read extremely fast and not only was it able to understand everything, it was able to remember them. Each time Zhang Zian came upstairs to check on it, he found it reading a different book.

To satisfy his growing appetite for books, Zhang Zian retrieved the books he read in his childhood from the storage room, and borrowed some more from Wang Qian and Li Kun. He stacked the books next to the basket hammock chair so that it could access them any time.　　
Pi was gentle with the paper books. It handled them with care, and was careful when flipping the pages, yet these didn't slow down the reading.　
Soon, Pi finished reading all the paper books in Zhang Zian's house and those he borrowed elsewhere.　　
Apart from the daily business of the pet shop, Zhang Zian had an additional task of browsing the online shopping website for discounted books. He would buy some every time there was a promotion.　　

"Master, this is heavy! You are receiving a lot of couriers lately."　
Wang Qian and Li Kun walked into the shop with two heavy boxes, and placed them next to Zhang Zian's reclining chair.　
"Yes. I bought some books."　　
Zhang Zian removed the packaging with a knife. It was book series and journals. The journals were from last year, so the price was good. Pi was not picky about the publication dates anyway.　　
Wang Qian and Li Kun looked at the Abyssinian cat breeding book next to Zhang Zian, and asked in confusion, "Master, you've been buying so many books, but we've never seen you reading them..."　　
Zhang Zian rolled his eyes at them. "Do I have to let you see me reading? Can't I buy books for other use? Cut the crap. Go back and prepare for your exams!"

After seeing how happy it was, Zhang Zian felt both glad and troubled.　
A mound of books had risen next to the basket hammock chair. His old books, borrowed books, recently purchased books and journals were stacked into four peaks of a mountain. The tallest one was the same height as a person, and the smallest one was as high as the waist.　
Zhang Zian could not find the books as fast as Pi was reading them. The books would reach the ceiling in a few days.　　
Paper books were more expensive and less frequent in discount. Storage was also less convenient. Books and journals were consumables to Pi, and had little long-term 

storage value. After all, it owned a nameless book containing everything. Reading Chinese books was only to appreciate the beauty and depth of the language.　　
When not reading, Pi appeared lonely, bored and melancholic. It knew that it could not go downstairs and show up in front of other people, which might bring trouble to Zhang Zian. Even if it did go downstairs, there was nothing to do and it could not communicate with the other elfins. It might as well stay upstairs to type. But typing all day became boring too. So it often sat idly on the window sill.　　
Zhang Zian was worried about Pi, and so did Old Time Tea, the traditional Chinese medicine expert. Old Time Tea said that long-term melancholy was not healthy, and Pi would fall sick if it continued this way. In modern medical terms, Old Time Tea meant depression. When someone was alone and low-spirited for a long time without interaction with the outside world, it could end up having depression.　　
Humans were social animals, and so were monkeys. Pi might be the same, who behaved like a monkey. But Zhang Zian couldn't possibly get a troop of monkeys to play with it.　　
Many studies suggested that negative mood had a negative impact on health, and may cause a variety of acute and chronic diseases, such as gastric ulcer, endocrine disorders, hair loss, etc. He did notice a lot of short yellow hairs while sweeping the floor lately.　　
Since paper books were not enough for Pi's reading appetite, after much thinking, he decided to seek help from the omnipotent internet.　
"Pi, would you like to try online novels?" He suggested to Pi.　
"Eeek?"　　
Pi was reading in the basket chair, and was distracted by his question.　
Zhang Zian explained, "Online novels are a new form of reading as the internet grew popular. They are pretty much like the e-books, except that they were created to be shared on the internet."　　
"Eeek?"　　
Pi put down its book and typed on the laptop: "Are they fun to read?"　
"Some of them are, and some are not. Online novels have a lot of genres, and are many in number. You can always find the ones you like." Zhang Zian answered honestly. In fact, he had not read many online novels. He didn't sound very confident. 　 

Leaving literary and artistic quality aside, the biggest advantage of online novels was its volume and number. Before he could find a better solution, they could at least gratify Pi's reading appetite, and chase away the melancholy and boredom.　　
"Eeek!"　　
Pi nodded and typed: "I want to try some."　　
"Good. I'm downloading online reading apps for you."

Servant girl Liu'er had never needed to be quiet in the Fang residence. Although she made an action like she was speaking quietly, her voice rang throughout the library.
Miss Jun laughed and patted the servant girl's head.
She was really too bullying.
The bully did not feel anything, and the person getting bullied didn't either.
Young Master Fang's expression was still calm.
"Miss Jun, please wait a moment. I will get out of your way," he said. Then he thought of something and paused. "Will Miss Jun be using the library often from now on?"
His attitude was very courteous, but his sort of courteousness was somewhat dissonant.
Miss Jun smiled.

Was she here to find a book?
Fang Chengyu lowered his head and did not pay her any more attention.
The silence of the room, besides the sounds of him turning pages, was only disturbed by the soft sounds of her footsteps and her rustling clothes. When he raised his head again, he saw Miss Jun already standing in front of the third floor bookshelf, moving as before.
She wasn't walking, and she also hadn't deliberately tried to provoke him.
"What are you looking for?" Fang Chengyu couldn't stop himself from asking.
"I am not looking for a book," said Miss Jun. "I am ‘reading’ books."

Fang Chengyu stared.
Miss Jun gave him a look. Her hand tapped a book spine, and her gaze would follow to the cover. Tap by tap, look by look, the person very quickly made her way through the  bookshelves on the third floor. She made her way up to the fourth floor, bringing herself in front of Fang Chengyu.
"‘Reading’ books," she said again.
She reached out her hand and flipped over the book in Fang Chengyu's hands, looking at its name and then letting it go.
This was ‘reading’ (looking) at books!
Fang Chengyu looked at her.
"You are ill," he said.

The first page was the title page, empty and white as snow, with only these eight words written in dark ink. They were abnormally vivid, such that anyone who opened this book would not be able to miss them.

If a normal person were to open this book, they would assuredly begin to carefully consider what sort of meaning was hidden in these words. Then, with an understanding of these eight words, they would continue to read. But Chen Changsheng was different from the rest. He did not turn to the next page, instead standing up and walking to the bookshelves, seeking out several other books on Purification. After quickly flipping through them, he realized that the title pages of all these books also contained these eight words. After this, he sat back down and placed all of his mind on the pages of the book, forgetting everything else.

The words of On Purification were very simple. As he attentively read it, it didn't take long before he had finished reading the first chapter. This chapter was concerned with how one should nurture their spiritual sense. He did not stop here to think or to try, but continued reading. The following chapters were also gradually noted down in his mind. The primary topics of these chapters were how to nurture the spiritual sense, search for one's Fated Star, and how to draw starlight into the body.

He needed only one hour to finish reading it. He then closed the books, closed his eyes, and began to think.

After a dozen or so breaths, he opened his eyes, opened the book once more, and began to read.

He needed even less time to finish than the first. In the time needed for several incense sticks to burn, he had finished reading.

He then once more closed his eyes to contemplate the contents of the books.

After a few breaths of time, he opened his eyes and began to read once more.

As he repeated this procedure, the sunlight spilling in from the window was as fierce as ever.

He closed On Purification for the last time and opened it no more.

He took out a brush and ink and, without opening the book, began to record from the memories in his mind his thoughts from his readings.

It didn't take long before the paper was densely covered in words.

The instant he placed the brush on the inkstone, all the contents of On Purification were remembered in his mind like they had been carved in stone.

Crucially, this was not rote memorization, but true understanding.

This was Chen Changsheng's reading method.

This method was very special, the precious treasure he and Senior Yu Ren had obtained after ten-odd bitter years of reading books. Although the old temple of Xining Village did not seem very remarkable, the books contained within were as boundless as the sea. If one wanted to memorize so many books in the shortest time possible, one naturally required a very special ability.

With this reading method, one did not need to read a book until it was on the verge of falling apart—in reality, the vast majority of the books in Xining Village's old temple were like new, but the contents of these books had all been completely memorized by the two.

The most important phase of this method was the final step of notetaking. The first step of Purification was to condense one's spiritual sense. The spiritual sense was a human's mental strength. To explain it in more everyday terms, it was 'thought'. As long as the idea one thought was intense enough, if one concentrated enough, thoughts could transform into a sort of strength.

It did not sound difficult, as if one only needed to do the utmost to crease their brows into mountain valleys and then be able to freely travel across the magnificent mountains and rivers of their imagination, but the fact was that it wasn't this easy at all. This was because whether or not one could form a spiritual sense was completely dependent on the strength of one's soul. The strength of one's soul was purely a matter of innate talent, nothing to do with effort. No matter how much an ordinary person worked, could his soul be stronger than the reincarnation of the Heavenly Phoenix?

Chen Changsheng had prepared for cultivation for many years. To be more precise, from the moment that peculiarity with his body appeared at the age of ten, he had been silently waiting for that day to come. He knew that there was a problem with his meridians, the illness his master said he had: his nine meridians were severed and could not connect, so his soul could not circulate through his body and could only be forced out with his sweat. However, he was not prepared to work in this way because he had never found a case in the Daoist Canon similar to the problem with his meridians. Even his master had said that it could not be treated, that it was just fate. He did not have the surplus time to struggle with fate, nor did he believe that he could think of a new and genius method in such a short amount of time. He enjoyed moving with the current, and he believed that if he followed existing methods, he would also be able to condense his spiritual sense. No one believed more than him in the knowledge of his forebears.

"Read one hundred times, naturally grasp the meaning."

All books related to Purification had these eight striking words. It was very obvious that these eight words were the most important part of Purification, and also the part that his predecessors wished to communicate to those that followed. But which book should he read?

Chen Changsheng looked at the dense directory on the back cover of On Purification, gazing at those sometimes fair and honest, sometimes unconventional book titles. He shook his head, somewhat surprised that after coming to the capital, he would still have to continue the life he had lived in Xining Village.

If this was a place like the Heavenly Dao Academy or Star Seizer Academy, if students needed to break through the bottleneck of Purification, a teacher would naturally tell them that the most crucial part of Purification was reading a large amount of related books, thus strengthening the soul and reaching the goal of condensing the spiritual sense in one stroke.

On Purification merely provided the general principles. What one truly needed to study was the forty-nine books listed on the back cover.

Of course, this did not at all mean that all students needed to read every one of these forty-nine books one hundred times before their soul reached a level at which they could condense the spiritual sense. In the vast majority of cases, in the process of reading, the reader's spiritual sense would be condensed and they could stop this process.

This process was not one in which the earlier one finished, the better it was. If one needed to only read one book ten times and be able to successfully condense spiritual sense, that person would presumably be the cultivator with the weakest spiritual sense in history. On the contrary, the more books one read and the more times one read them, the stronger the soul would become, yet it would still be unable to break through that thin layer of paper. When the spiritual sense was finally condensed, only this sort of spiritual sense could truly be called powerful.

If someone could read all forty-nine books on the back cover of On Purification one hundred times before finally condensing their spiritual sense, then when they drew starlight into their bodies to undergo Purification, they had a chance of reaching the level of perfection. But this sort of situation was incredibly rare. Other than those lucky enough to be born with incredible innate talent, it was basically impossible.

This was a very stimulating process. As time passed, as the number of books and the number of times one read them gradually increased, one could anticipate becoming a genius with a powerful spiritual sense, but there was also a high chance that one could ultimately fail at condensing the spiritual sense and be resigned to the life of an ordinary person.

Hope and disappointment would continuously increase over this process, ultimately becoming a gamble of epic proportions. No one knew the result of this gamble. Only after reading those books, one hundred times each, would the result appear on its own.

Read one hundred times, naturally grasp the meaning.

This was its meaning.

After reading On Purification once, Chen Changsheng did not feel any change in his body, did not sense his soul, so he naturally could not sense his spiritual sense either. He did not begin to immediately read the books listed on the back cover, but instead began to calculate.

He believed that his reading efficiency was higher than an ordinary person's, so perhaps he might not really need to read each book one hundred times, perhaps twenty to thirty times might be enough. Several thousand years later, the fourteen years old orphan Chen Changsheng left his master to cure his illness and change his fate. He brought a piece of marriage vow with him to the capital, thus began the journey of a rising hero.

" Brother aren't you making it too hard for him?"
asked Maria, after Robin left the dining hall. 

" What are talking about Sis.? "
asked Peter back with a confused look. 

" You took about three months to finish those book. Now you are asking him to finish it in one month. Isn't it too much. "
said Maria. 

Hearing that Peter smiled and said, 

" What do you know? My master also gave me two month as deadline. And because of that I finished in three month. I have taught that kid how to read and write in NONAME. So I have to give him this deadline in order to develop him well. You won't understand it, because you don't have a disciple "

" Hehe...  Is that so?  I think I can get a disciple now. "
Said Maria while looking toward the library. 

Seeing that Peter said, 

" No Sis, you can't. As you know our Master has only me as disciple and I have only one Master, the same thing applies for him. We shouldn't break this custom that is going for about ten thousand years. That was what Master told me, when I said Iam gonna take in a disciple"

" Yaya... I know. Don't start."
grunted Maria. 

" And I gave him one month because I think he is more talented than me. When I taught him, how to read and write. He learned it all in less than six months. So I think he can finish ten thousand books in a month"
said Peter with pride of Master. 

Seeing that Maria grunted even more as she stood up and left the dining hall.

As for Robin, he has been reading the books with complete immersion in it. While thinking to himself, 

' I will finish this before one month. '

After about 15 days, Robin has only read about three thousand books. Seeing the Robin who was still reading the books with great interest, Maria who stood about 10 feet away from him said, 

" Wow...  He is faster than you. But still look at his daily routine, he eats he read he sleep he eats he read he sleep...  Doesn't he look like a puppet to you."

" Nope, he looks like a committed person to me."
said Peter who stood beside her. 

"Even though he has commitment, he can't finish seven thousand books in 15 days. " said Maria. She felt bad as Robin would be disappointed when the time comes. 

They having been standing there for about 10 minutes, but Robin didn't even look at them. He was totally into reading. 

This is not the first time. Every time they came to visit him in the last 15 days, it's the same. 

So both of them just left him be. 

But for Robin from the first day everytime he finishes reading a book, he felt like his reading skills are improving rapidly. So he continuously read, even when some books were repetitive. 

From the books Robin came to understand about the geographical location of the CELTIC. It isn't much different from what before Peter to him. But there was something different about the cultivation levels from what Peter has said. Peter just told him basic realms. But for every realm, they are further divided in to three levels- low level, mid level and high level. For example, Robin is now an 
Begginer Assassin-Low level. 
Then comes 
Begginer Assassin- mid level and 
Begginer Assassin- high level. 

Now he understands why it took seventy years for Peter to reach Grand Realm. But Robin doesn't know whether Peter is in Grand realm low level, mid level or high level.

But he knows the level difference from low level to high level is greater. 

And most important is longevity of life. A Begginer realm can live for hundred years. And it's gets doubled as your realm increases. 

' A Mystic realm can live for 3200 years'

Robin reading speed didn't increase after reading two thousand books that is on the tenth day. For five days, he read one thousand books. But as he finished total of three thousand books. He felt like a new skill is unlocked within him. 

After that, his reading skill entered a new realm. His reading skill increased into fast reading.

Robin finished reading five thousand books in ten days.

There was only one thousand and eight hundred books left now. Since he read 200 books on his first night here.

Looking at the remaining books in the rack, Robin thought, 

' five days for thousand and eight hundred books, Will be easy pie. Hehe'

The reason for his happiness is because of a deal between him and Maria. On the 15 day of his assignment, Maria came to library at night and met him. She said with a beautiful voice in his ears,

" If you can finish reading these books in 30 days, I will show you, my dress color. "

And Robin knew what dress color she meant. So that has become his motivation for completing the assignment. 

As Robin was thinking about these things with a lewd smile on his face, he heard Peter's voice, 

" Robin, we are going out for a work  and will come after five days. The spirits will look after your foods."

Hearing that Robin looked up and saw both Peter and Maria have dress in formals. Peter wore a formal suit. 

 Maria is not wearing her usual maid outfit. She is wearing a blue long gown, it's a sleeveless one. 
Looking at that Robin gulped. Seeing that, Maria said with a smiling face, 

" It looks like you are going to win the deal. "

But she thought to herself, 
' I will just erase his memories of the deal. '

Peter asked, 

" What deal? "

Robin said, flushed. 

" Nothing Master....  Have a safe trip. "

Seeing that, Peter just said, 

" Okay, you take care. "

After they left Robin grinned to himself, 

' At last I will walk the path of reaching my harem. Hehe...  Even though you are in Ascending-mystic realm, I will take you into my harem'

Hahaha.... 

Then Robin closed the door of the library and sat down. But he didn't read the books. Instead he wanted to do something that he has been waiting for 20 days or to say for 5 years. 

It was about the artifact, Angel gave him. After he entered this world, he tried lot of times to call for the LIMITLESS ARTIFACT  but it didn't respond to him. But after reading the books he came to an understanding before 20 days. That artifact only react upon magic. And after only reaching Begginer Realm a person can produce magic. So that was the reason why the artifact didn't respond to him before. 

As for the reason why he didn't try it out, after knowing about this is because of Peter and Maria. Those guys will definitely find him using the artifact, Angel gave him. And he can't explain to them how he got the artifact. So he waited to be alone and try it out. 

' Now is the right time '

Then he tried to reach out to the LIMITLESS ARTIFACT, as felt the connection to the artifact, a black light enveloped him..... Robin can't feel a thing.... 
 He blanked out..... 


As the black light in the library disappeared, Robin couldn't be seen anywhere......

Immediately after the lunch meeting, Zero and Merlin travelled back to the tower quickly, eager to continue their work. Zero quickly picked up books and activated golems while going into his meditative mood. Merlin decided to catch up on his reading as well. Zero's spare golems had written a pile of notes regarding the boy's understanding of qi and chaos energy. Both master and student worked hard trying to catch up to each other.
Merlin didn't let Zero idle and taught Zero the sequence of books he had to read. Zero glanced over some of the books and asked Merlin if they were already scanned into the reading device's library. Some of the titles looked similar.
The wizard god couldn't be sure of it. Steve did give him the option to convert all his tomes into a more convenient format but after converting a hundred or so books, the magician decided to abandon the project. He still preferred the feel of bound paper in his hands.
"I'll leave the task of updating them into the library to you," Merlin said and Zero agreed.
The young doctor had another task that he wanted to do simultaneously while reading the library. He has five spare golems stationed in Merlin's tower library and another five working on the books in the forbidden library. In the mindscape, the information overload was real.
"Pass the pen, stack those books on the third shelf. No, We need to expand the section, move!" Mii hollered from her desk. Zero was doing everything he could as Mii's assistant while coping with the strange feeling of having new knowledge pour into his brain every second. Wii was also given her personal office to help coordinate the other Parallel Minds that were working hard at information gathering.
Thanks to Merlin's tips, Zero discovered that Wii can level up without going through the quest system that Mii was limited to. The eggplant fairy simply had to continuously perform arithmetic of increasing difficulty to increase her mental power and ability to control her duplicates. Right now, Wii was able to control up to twenty duplicates but Zero didn't want to use all twenty duplicates to gather information in the real world. He had ten doing that by possessing the spare golems, five working on Arithmetic with Wii and coordinating the information collected while the other five acted as Mii's assistants alongside Zero who was still getting the hang of it.
Zero's aim was to create ideas for the grimoire that Merlin wanted him to make. It has to be a magic that was unique only for him. A grimoire was every magician's lifeline. Once that grimoire is destroyed, the magician loses all their powerful spells. Some grimoires are tied to their owner's soul, others are tied to their owner's hearts. Most grimoires that weren't created by humans belonged to a demon who would reap the summoner's soul as offering or feed on their life energy in exchange for lending them power.
"I don't have anything to offer to a grimoire to give it power," Zero sighed. His research in the mindscape wasn't progressing well at all. Mii and Wii's yelling didn't help him concentrate either.
"Ugh!" Zero groaned as another sharp pain pierced his mind. With Wii's help, the work is definitely progressing smoother on Mii's end. Unfortunately, there was only one Zero and having so many tomes crammed into his head at the same time often caused the teen to be rendered paralysed for a while. The pain of having so much new information entering his head within such a short period of time can be hard to cope with.
"Are you ok?" Wii asked from the third floor.
"What's the pain like from the scale of one to ten? One like a paper cut and ten having an arm cut off?" Mii asked.
Zero groaned and tried to lift his head from his desk with much difficulty. "Eight... what did you girls do?"
Wii looked sorry and Mii felt guilty. "Sorry, we simply synced all the newly scanned books from the reading device to your library. It's faster this way. Wii can work on processing the information at leisure and you can recall anything that needs recalling. We prioritised grimoire-making materials."
Zero groaned again, the headache still not leaving him. It was true. The girls really added the entire reading device's content into his head and information just couldn't stop flooding into his mind. Unable to move, Zero could only lay there in pain and wait for the overload of information to complete. Unknown to him, the amount of information input wasn't stopping. When ten books were synced, Zero's mind was made to process a hundred more.
In the forbidden library, Merlin had created a spell to help his student read faster. All spare golems were equipped with a speed reading spell similar to his famous speed-reading glasses. They now scanned things faster too and Merlin welcomed the abuse of mana in his tower. These golems were really handy and Merlin couldn't imagine what it would be like to have ten more household golems like Bib to maintain his library, lab and business.
Zero found it odd. He was beginning to see many new things despite the splitting headache. Suddenly, he knew things he never knew before. Each minute that passed made him wonder if it would ever stop. From necromancy to summoning, the subjects of his studies were making no sense. Even if Zero was able to understand the contents of whatever that had been scanned and read, he was still struggling to know how they can be applied to grimoire-making.
Wii and Mii gasped in horror as the books started piling on the floor.
"What's going on?" Wii asked her older sister.
The strawcherry fairy didn't have time to respond. In order to prevent an accident, she had turned to Wii with seriousness in her eyes."I'm going to find Lily and take over the system for a while. It looks like three floors won't be enough. Make sure that the books don't fall on Zero before I'm back!"
Wii didn't have any time to react before her sister disappeared. From the first floor, she could hear her master groan in pain. At the same time, she could feel that something was wrong with the other cloned libraries. Perhaps it was better to stop for a while and consolidate all their materials before continuing. At this rate, there wouldn't be enough space to put all these copied books in Zero's mindscape!
"Dispel clones! Parallel Minds, gather!"
The ten cloned librarians stopped working and gathered at the office that Wii's original self was at in order to help with the administrative matters that were starting to pile badly from the syncing of all ten libraries.
Mii hurried over to where Lily was and demanded to create ten floors for Zero's mindscape library. At the rate that Zero was learning, they needed a lot of room. Zero wasn't even done with a third of Merlin's books. They wouldn't survive it without enough space.
"Sorry, Mii. The system says that Zero's current capacity is five floors," the flower fairy apologised and Mii cursed.
"Let's make it five floors then. Once there are enough resources to expand the library in size or height, let me know. I'll head back now!"
Lily assured the busy assistant that she will look after Zero's mental state from the back end and Mii left in a hurry.
Wii was relieved to see that there were two additional floors to sort the books out. She got to work immediately without waiting for her sister. It didn't matter if the categorisation was wrong, right now, it was more important to get all the books off the floors and onto shelves. the clones worked efficiently and with the books put away, the cloned libraries were able to slowly disappear.
Mii returned to find everything returning back to order with the exception of Zero who was still clutching his head in pain with a huge frown. The teen groaned again when Wii's clones started shelving a new stack of books. Mii felt sorry for the young doctor. Every book that they shelved in the mindscape library was directly linked to Zero's mind. With Wii's rate of processing books from the Parallel Minds and copying them over to Zero's main mind, the stress was more than enough to cripple an ordinary person. Wii wasn't merciful with shelving the copied books either. Each cloned librarian assistant threw in at least three books at a time and there were at least ten working on shelving the pile of books that had been transcribed into a common language for Zero's easier reference. Mii still hasn't gotten to sorting the books by categories or making notes for Zero'seasier understanding and reference.
"Astrology?" Zero groaned in pain. "Why is there astrology in Merlin's library? Mii, Wii... what are both of you reading?"
Mii didn't answer Zero, too busy organising the new books while Wii smiled in apology. "It's something from the reading device and not Merlin's library. It appears as if your mind is also syncing the entire library from your reading device as we speak."
Zero paled. "Re-reading device? Steve said that there were at least a million books in there from stories to research journals... you're not serious, right?"
Mii dropped the book she was holding. "What?"
Wii stared at both of them with a confused look. "Was I not supposed to sync that? We finally found a way to sync the books to the reading device. I thought that if we were going to go for a reading marathon, we might as well do it thoroughly now before the training ends. Besides, master could take some inspiration from other materials to create his very own unique magic and grimoire."
Mii couldn't fault Wii for her analysis but did she have to do it now? Zero's mindscape wouldn't hold a few million books at this stage, they were going to be in trouble.
"Can you cancel the syncing of the reading device's library and solely focus on the books in Merlin's library for now? Lily told me that the system couldn't make more than five floors worth of shelving space."
Zero let out a sharp scream as a new genre entered his mind.
"Folk tales and music? Why is this here...? Mii! Wii! Do something!"
Panicked, Wii immediately got to work and tried to stop the syncing of Zero's mind with the magic device.
"I'm so sorry, master! I'm afraid it's too late... the syncing cannot be cancelled at this point. I have stopped the spare golem from reading anything more, everything else that is being processed now is from the reading device... Thousand apologies!"
Mii inhaled deeply and closed her eyes, trying to find inner peace in the chaos of Zero's writhing and Wii's tears.
"There's no helping it. Wii, gather your assistants and help me search for the books with memory increasing functions. We need to prioritise learning those first to help Lily increase the system's capacity to expand the mindscape. After that, search for ways to borrow the void to throw all the unprocessed books for a while. We need to get through Merlin's library first. The rest can be sorted through later."
Wii obeyed quickly and gathered all but five of her assistants who were in charge of shelving new books. They searched through quickly the job queues for anything related to memory increasing techniques and worked on them. Under Mii's careful guidance, the headache lessened and Zero was finally able to focus.
"Wait, what? Mythical creatures and where to find them? Why's this even a subject?!" Zero yelled when the colourful images of rainbows and gory pictures of severed human limbs dangling from a beast's jaw startled him from his thoughts.
"Sorry master!" Wii's clone shouted from the seventh floor now. "It's one of the books we're still shelving."
Zero sighed. With so much reading to do, how could he make any progress with his magic and grimoire?

Classroom Chaos: So in 8th grade I used to read during class a lot. At the time I was reading an Artemis Fowl book, and for some reason I had two copies of the same book. So one day in my English class we were reading this other book (which I had already finished reading three days earlier), I was reading my own book and when it was finally my turn to read, I had no idea where we were. So the teacher took my book away, I found my spot, read the part and passed it to the next person to start reading.

So after I read my part, I took out my second copy of Artemis and picked up right where I left off. Skip a few minutes ahead, gets back to my turn to read, and again I don't know where we are. So teacher takes a look at me, sees the book in my hands, then back to her desk obviously confused for a second. But shrugs it off knowing it's me she's dealing with (I've caused similar problems like this before), takes my second book and puts it on her desk, and makes me read my part.

Now my friend that sat two chairs down from me was also reading Artemis at the same time as me and with a quick look to him he knew exactly what I was planning. He took it out and passed it over without hesitation. I opened to a random spot and just pretended like I was reading. (At this point it was just to mess with my teacher.)

So skip forward again and my teacher sees me with the book again and says, "How many of those do you have?" I gave my smartass remark as "enough." She took away that book, too. But now at this point I was out of books, and the rest of my class knew it. But the teacher didn't know I was out. So she continued with her lesson and another friend of mine took two of her books and switched out two of the Artemis books on her desk to make them look like they were still there.

He passed the books slowly around the room, one at a time, until they were back to me. Then I took one out, opened to a random spot and just kept it open, waiting to get caught. I silently signaled to a few people in class and they started laughing. The teacher looked at what they were laughing at and saw me with yet another book. She looked at her desk where there were seemingly 3 Artemis books and saw me with a 4th. She took it, walked back to her desk, put it down, turned around, and saw me with the second book that got taken back on my desk!!!

The teacher thought she was going to win this game but underestimated my teamwork with my classmates. So the second she came over to me to take the seemingly 5th book, another classmate took back the other two books from her desk and split them up—sending one to me one way, and the other another way.

The teacher was very flustered and laughing hysterically at this point and there was no more teaching going on. The entire class was also going ballistic trying to see who would win. It was just a game of "How many books does this one 8th grader have?"

So at the end of the class she thought she had taken 11 books from me. I took pity on her and told her what was really happening. I told her that I had already read the first book, and all the teamwork that went on. We were both laughing and making jokes. In the end she agreed to let me read my own books as long as I kept track of the actual book we were reading. (Meaning, I ask the person next to me tell me when it's my turn and they point out my spot to read so I don't actually have to keep track.)

She is standing at the door holding a white envelope with gold-colored designs. Staring at the paper, she asked the person who sent it if they really intended to give it to her today.

The messenger, who was kinda startled by her question, pulled a piece of paper from his pocket and gave it to her.

"Ask your Mom before going. If you won't, then I cannot guarantee you about the favor you asked. -Essa"

Yup, they indeed did it intentionally.

She thanked the messenger and closed the door. Reading the envelope again, it says 'Nuptials'.

They're getting married.

Reading the invitation letter while heading towards the kitchen, she accidentally bumped with her mother. Remembering what Essa wrote in the paper, she turned and called her out.

"Mom, can I go out with Essa for a party this weekend? Ruth is going to get married and she wants to celebrate her last days of being single." 

Reese asked her mother Rain, who is currently taking a rest after doing some household chores.

Need to be honest if you're going to ask permission... unless you do not want to leave the house for weeks. And need to do this unless I do not want to decline that proposal.

Rain looked up at her daughter and led her to the study. Signalling her to sit down, she took several books from different shelves.

Books were then piled up in front of Reese, blocking her sight. 

"Do I really have to finish reading all of these, Mom?"

Rain gave her a warning glare and she then shut up her mouth. She looked at the mountain full of things called books and took one. She started to flip a few pages and read.

"Before the weekend, there will be a test. Take it with your brother."

Her mother then left her in the study and resumed doing the household chores. She stopped reading the book she is holding and turned her gaze towards the other books.


"There are only 3 days before the weekend, and there are approximately 1 5-inches thick old book, 3 2-inches thick books and 10 other sized books... So if I will start reading the history book today, I can at least read 2/3 percent of the book when the day comes..." she murmured and grabbed the thickest book and started reading.

Mom! I already finished studying this in school!

Oh... on the second thought, I did not understood a few things.

In the pitch dark room, she lied and stared at the almost not visible ceiling. She is thinking about the event that is about to happen this weekend, and her friends' current love life and their situations.

Ruth already had Paul... and they are going to get married. Steph also have Ken but they are always a bit wishy washy and maybe the thought about marriage did not appear in their minds yet. Dreia... already have Ron but they are again trying to make their relationship stable.

Essa, Nicx and Christal still have idols as their love in the entertainment industry, but Nicx always get sad everytime her favorite bias that died years ago is brought up. Life is short, but their glory days is not forgotten by these kind of fans. Ria is still Ria, and she has her other circle of friends but she is still invited this weekend. Of course, Paul won't forget our leader, unless he wants to have war. Yash is kinda not close with me but she's still easy going and funny as always. Nicka... is making a distance between us friends because of misunderstandings.

Weekend, please come quickly...

And she ran towards the study to resume reading, forgetting to even take a few minutes of shut eye...

Everything started to become out of ordinary when her grandma met her granddad and conceived her mother. Fights between clans started.

I closed my journal and stared at the door, it took one hour and with no one entering I put on my reading glasses and started reading on the books that I gave them. While yes I have the knowledge of all the books in the library, I myself am still just a sentient being, even I get bored which leads to just reading more books.

Today I would study the principles behind the success of Early-Term Off World Trade Companies and How to Manage Them, by Marrakech The Emperor of Wealth (1'st Edition). It seems this species didn't have last names as they were replaced by titles which were given as signs of power.

As I was reading it was four hows before I could close shop and I was already a quarter way in when the doors opened.


I looked up only to see a middle-sized man, though he was smaller than me, he stood at about 5'3, he was covered with feathers and instead of feet had 3 long... toes? I near-immediately recognized this race without the need of the library to inform me. They were in most universes called Avians as they resembled birds but were actually sentient creatures with high thought capabilities.

He was wearing basic cloth clothes with leather shorts and a backpack, while he also had what seemed to be a scanner in his front left claw. His two large eyes looked around and near immediatly saw me.


As he walked to the counter I put down my reading glasses and put a marker on the book page I was on.


" Do you happen to know where I am, Sir? "


With a smile, " You are in the Lonely Library. A place of infinite knowledge and information, anything you can wish for can be found here. "


" Anything...? " The avian's eyes seemed to glow at this, he was handling the encounter well.


" Yes, any knowledge can be found in this library. "


He found himself a seat and put it in front of the desk, " If I can find anything here, then who are you? "


" I am the Librarian of this library. " I gave a nod and a smile.


" Then can I find a book on decryption of ancient languages? "


I nodded as a book floated over, " This is what you are looking for. "


And sitting it infront of him I did, once he left I never saw him again, this happened with many people for the next year.

I met them all over the months and months, and leading up to my first day marking my first year as the Head Librarian.


A kid walked in through the door.


She had eyes like beads and yet I couldn't look away, I thought I had already seen it all, from old to young, but a little girl walked in through that door.


She looked at me and I will never forget that look, " Where am I? "


I was stunned, halted, briefed, shocked? No, I was confused, the innocence of the question, she had no fear, I doubt she knew of it, she just accepted that she wasn't where she was before.


" You... are in the Library. "


She walked up to the desk, I immediately called over a stool which she plopped herself on.


" Do you have lots of books here ? " She asked me while looking up, I chuckled at such a thought, does this library have lots of books? It wouldn't be my library if it didn't.


" Yes, we have lots of books here " I nodded.
" What kind of books do you like? " I was stunned, once again the first time as my day's as a librarian, this child had stunned me, no one ever asked that question before, they came and went, some were shocked when they came through that door, some accepted there days here till they found what they want, yet none had ever returned, they all came and yet no one ever asked me anything even as remotely personal as this...


" What, kind of books do I like? " She nodded at my question.
" I like books about people. " She seemed to enjoy my answer and giggled.


" Do you have any books for me? " She questioned me.


" I... I.. Ha... Yes I do. " I stood up, and started walking through the infinite rows of books, rarely did I do this anymore as people were just coming and going getting books it felt... incomplete.


" Do you perhaps know what kind of books you would like? " I asked.


She shaked her head, " No, I don't get to read books often, I just like to read. "


She seemed to be from a place with a small amounts of books then.


I grabbed some books off the shelf once I reached a certain place, they were all books on establishing relations, things like the art of the trade, and how to garner trust. While yes they were all common books, in the end, a library cant claim to have all the knowledge in the universe(s) if they don't even have this.


I walked back to the main hall and put them at a visitor table. " These are for you. "


She smiled, " Whats your name? "
I looked at her and thought about it then said,


" I have no name, I'm just the Librarian. "
She stared at me, " Oh... well you can call me Li ! "
I nodded my head, " What a wonderful name. "
" You should start reading, you don't want to waste to much time in here " I smiled
She quickly nodded and started reading, she seemed to enjoy reading and absorb knowledge like a sponge. I slowly went and sat at my desk but.. I could help but watch her read, she was fun to talk to.


In a few hours I had slowly spaced out and soon a loud bang happened near me and I jumped,
" Huh, What? "
It was the girl who plopped down all those books on my desk as she smiled.
" You finished all ready? That's great. " I smiled.


She looked up at me and said some words I wont forget,
" Librarian, why do you look so lonely? "
I looked at her and thought deeply about it,
" Because, while my body doesn't age and I may just be a entity made by the library.. "


" My heart still ages.. "


With that she smiled back at me,
" Promise me you'll never be lonely again Mr.Librarian "
I looked at her and laughed, this was the first visitor I made a real connection with and it was a little girl.. more worried about a stranger she just met in the last few hours than greedy for the knowledge of this library.


With that the doors opened and I frowned just a bit but hid it with a smile,
" It seems you can return now, take this key and visit me in a few years when you show the world your kindness. "


She skipped off after that... I wonder if I'll ever meet her again..


I sadly, couldn't promise her to never be lonely again... because in the end, this is a lonely library.

A man sits in a library that is easy to get lost in, connected to many worlds, and even universes, you may ask yourself why is he the only employee, or is he the owner? 
No one owns such a library, but he does have many titles depending who you ask; A friend, magi, tendant, library manager, librarian, the saint of the library, mystic, devil of knowledge. 
Many worlds, many people will meet him, and yet it is still such a small number when compared to how many people there are with a possibility to access to the library.

Treasures such as the millenary water extract with the water element were hard to come by, as the difficulty of finding such things was similar to that of finding Real Spirit Dragon Veins. At this moment, Su Yu could not help but silently rejoice that he had decided to delve into the wisdom that was contained in the ancient books.
It would be tough to find such rare things in ordinary books, as the remnants of the genuine benefits could only be found in the mysterious ancient civilizations. The information that Su Yu had discovered about Fire Essence Jade was a pleasant surprise. In comparison, however, the information regarding the curses filled Su Yu's heart with discouragement.
This was because these curses were much more problematic than Su Yu had ever imagined. This was a form of black magic from the ancient era, which was extremely mystifying and complicated. It was said that it had originated from a mysterious race apart, one that was unlike the human race at all.

Moreover, if any untoward circumstances happened to occur, the spell would erupt by means of self-explosion, completely devouring Su Yu's soul power and ending his life right then and there! Hence, this spell was quite dangerous!

Except for Fire Essence Jade and some spells, any other clues as to the whereabouts of the Saint Blood Soul Nourishing Stone that Su Yu was so curious about were nowhere to be found. He was perplexed by this. But, as he recalled the Evil God's tone and the shocked look on his face, none of it seemed to have been faked.
After some contemplation, Su Yu stared at the piles of ancient books before him and thought... These books seems inadequate... 
He felt that it was a pity that Shizhen Bookyard only contained such a limited amount of books that pertain to the topics he was most concerned about at the moment. In the end, the only book that was left unread was the golden-covered ancient authentic work that Gongsun Wuxie was reading.
With some curiosity, Su Yu flipped open the authentic work. The smell of age and some decay wafted from it, filling his nostrils.
Su Yu could not help wonder aloud, "What on earth was the ancient era like? Why did it leave behind such prosperous civilizations, but wasn't inherited by the human race of the present time?"
In the ancient books, a multitude of things were not inherited by the present generation. For instance, Su Yu would never have discovered the amazing benefits of Fire Essence Jade from a line of tiny words unless he had read a few hundred ancient books first. The current generation simply did not know or teach such things.
Su Yu thought of his birthplace, the Zhenlong Continent. It was a barren continent that had flourished upon the arrival of Shen Yichen and others, but sadly, it had been devastated by Xue Di.
As Su Yu thought of this, he wondered… Could the same fate have befallen the human civilization of Jiuzhou?
Still confused, Su Yu continued reading the ancient authentic work. It wasn't until he had opened the book that he realized that it was so worn out by the passing of time. It was intact on the outside, but a large portion of the pages had been degraded by time and space, leaving only a limited range of legible words.
Fairy Mountain's End... God-seeking Road... Rise of All Stars... None of the sentences in the ancient work were continuous, as they were all disrupted and used only sentence fragments consisting of several words strung together.
Su Yu furrowed his brows and wondered... What on earth is this?
He could not wrap his mind around the contents of the ancient authentic work, even after reading it for a long time. He wondered it it was it an introduction to the style and features of the ancient time, but still just couldn't tell, as the words were truly bizarre!
While he turned the pages, Su Yu had a dazed look on his face. He was totally unclear about what it was that Gongsun Wuxie had found in the book that had delighted her so much.
A moment later, Su Yu gave up on reading the typed words altogether, instead turning his attention to staring at the time-worn, almost illegible handwriting in the book. But, it was impossible to decipher the nearly destroyed handwriting with his naked eyes.
The ink that had been imprinted on the papers had faded so much by this time, leaving only dull remnants of pen marks. It was only after half an hour of reading that Su Yu eventually got some clues. His heart thumped as he finally able to successfully decipher a few lines of tiny words in one of the middle pages.
In that moment, he finally understood what the book was about! The book actually had nothing to do with the styles of the ancient times.
Instead, it was a handwritten book that had been left behind by someone named Yaomu Daoren. It appeared to be a record of the experiences that he had throughout his life. 
After reading the passages that were written in his handwriting, Su Yu discovered that Yaomu Daoren was an eminent master, who had surpassed the All Creations realm during the ancient times and whose combat power was equal to a prefecture's king's.
Apparently, he had then been stranded in a place that was known as the Desolate Evil Jungle. It was from this place that this handbook had come from. When Su Yu discovered that the handbook had such an amazing origin, he was stunned!
At this moment, he couldn't help but wonder… A treasure that belonged to an eminent master and absolute strong man, who overrode the All Creations Realm and reigned over the entire Jiuzhou Continent must be immensely powerful, and to think that it originated at the place where he had fallen!
Su Yu immediately continued to read in hopes of coming across the detailed place of tranquil demise that was recorded in the handbook. But, in the end, he only saw information about the Desolate Evil Jungle and nothing else, which really disappointed him.
From the description in the book, the Desolate Evil Jungle was apparently a vast region, where mankind seldom set foot within. Its perimeter stretched for hundred of thousands of miles, which meant that even at Su Yu's fast speed, it would take several days and nights to cross the entire Desolate Evil Jungle. This meant that finding the place of tranquil demise, which was in a secret spot within that region, would take even longer!
To make things worse, its name alone foreshadowed that the Desolate Evil Jungle could not possibly be a kind and gentle place, but rather must be one that was filled with immense danger! As Su Yu thought about what danger may lie ahead, he drew in a deep breath to regain his composure and continue studying the ancient authentic work. He felt surprised that such an ancient book would end up in this kind of bookyard.
When he was done reading, Su Yu checked the time and was surprised to see that nearly an hour had passed. It was now time for him to leave. But, just as he was about to set down the scroll that was in his hand, he suddenly noticed that a subtle sound was coming from the scroll.
It was an extremely soft sound, like sand flowing. The sound only lasted for a fleeting moment and was so soft that it would have been totally neglected by most. However, since Su Yu was in time acceleration mode, this short-lasting sound was as if it had been lengthened by 400 times!
Even so, the sound only lasted for a couple of breaths in Su Yu's ears. Thus, it would have been even more brief to an outsider's ears. In fact, even the All Creation masters might not have been able to notice the sand-flowing sound.
"What's in there?" Su Yu wondered aloud.
Then, with a quick turn of his thoughts, he instantly activated his Soul Eyes and saw through the entire book. Nothing could hide from the Transparent Eyes, and just as he expected, Su Yu discovered that the internal part of every page contained two grains of golden sand!
Undoubtedly, these golden grains of sand concealed some massive secret, presumably left behind by Yaomu Daoren with the intention of preventing any damage befalling the handwriting in the letter. As he thought of this, Su Yu's heart raced.
But, he knew that he could not overreact since the servants were staring at him at that very moment! So, he quickly recovered his calmness and reopened the book to keep reading. The servants who had gathered to watch Su Yu strained their necks forward to watch Su Yu turn the pages, while wondering what was going on.
"This person's really weird! How could he have turned the pages so fast just now?" one of the servants asked in astonishment. He was truly startled by the way Su Yu had turned the pages so quickly, almost to the point of igniting a fire just now!
Zhao Chuan snorted, then asked, "Well… Would he dare to do it slowly? After all, at a rate of 10,000 crystals for an hour, I would also have turned the pages that quickly! Sadly, he deems himself wise and thinks that he finished reading all of the books. The books in Shizhen Bookyard all have seals that keep records of whether a reader has completed reading all of their contents. So… We'll only have to check the seals to reveal his true colors, as he surely can't be telling the truth! Ha! How dare he behave so arrogantly? He will have to pay the price!"
A moment later, Su Yu exhaled and put down the ancient authentic writings as if nothing had happened, while secretly holding back his right palm and disabling the time acceleration mode.
He then lifted his gaze to the servants and asked, "How long has it been?"
"An hour. Haha, you're quite fast!" Zhao Chuan answered him, half smiling.
Su Yu then said, "Of course. Here is 10,000 crystals."
He then tossed 10,000 crystals to Zhao Chuan. He considered this to be a fair trade, as he had been able to read half of the books in the bookyard, while spending only this amount of crystals. Ordinary people would have spent up to a million crystals by the time they had finished reading that same amount of books! Su Yu felt that this experience had definitely been worth the price tag.
While grasping the ring, Zhao Chuan scanned the inside of it, his pupils slightly constricting. It was indeed filled with 10,000 crystals!
Upon seeing this, he couldn't help but give Su Yu a skeptical look. After all, it was hard to believe that an old man from the Red Blood Palace would possess such wealth, as 10,000 crystals was a large sum to even the Almighty Divine Masters!
"I'm good to go," Su Yu said, while turning to leave.
"Wait!" Zhao Chuan yelled out abruptly and moved to block Su Yu's path.
Su Yu squinted his eyes and asked, "What's the matter? Does Shizhen Bookyard now kill people and rob them of their riches?"
"What? What in the world are you talking about? Shizhen Bookyard is an honest business!" Zhao Chuan scowled.
Su Yu then replied indifferently, "Oh? Is that right? Then, is the payment too little?"
Zhao Chuan sneered. "Don't play the fool! Don't you remember the rule that I mentioned to you earlier?"
Rule? Su Yu wondered. Then, after giving it some thought, he asked, "Are you talking about the rule saying that one is only allowed to leave when they're done reading all of the borrowed books?"
Zhao Chuan shot him a look that indicated "good that you know," then slanted his eyes and replied, "Yes. So, why don't you return to your reading? Surely you wouldn't dare leave before you finished reading all of the books. Moreover, if the final amount of crystals owed can't be paid, we'll pawn you for money in accordance to Shizhen Bookyard's rules! In that case, don't blame Shizhen Bookyard for not showing respect for the Red Blood Palace, as I told you to get lost when you first came here, but you didn't listen! Now, you've lost your chance!"
Upon hearing this, Su Yu appeared to be stunned. He then asked, "But… Haven't I finished reading all of the books already? Do you have any proof that I've not finished them all?"
Zhao Chuan's reply was filled with contempt as he said, "I knew that you would say that!"
As he spoke, he randomly picked up a book that Su Yu had borrowed and sneered. "I'm afraid that you didn't know that all of these books have seals, so it only takes a little Vital Energy to make the seals react and record the reading state of the previous owner! The more of the book that you complete, the more red light is given off by the seals, with blood red being the darkest. On the other hand, it would display a pure white light if not a single word has been read in the book yet!"
Zhao Chuan then smiled menacingly and asked, "Now, do you still insist that you've finished reading them all?"
