BUZZ- Suddenly, I materialized myself in the seat in front of Robin's eyes. Without even flinching at my arrival, Nico Robin kept her book down and propped her head over her hands.

"For such an accomplished fighter, you sure read a lot of history books. I didn't think you'd have similar interests like me." 

Robin raised her eyebrows in a little curiosity; all my knowledge about books was fascinating to her.

I laughed loudly and patted Robin's shoulders. "I just read them to confirm the conspiracy theories I have about the World Government… You, on the other hand, are someone who loves history and pursues dreams without any fear! The willpower I saw in you is just one of the reasons I had to save you!"

Robin went speechless for a second, after which she smiled coyly and leaned inwards towards me.  

"Oh, aren't you the charmer ♥ But thanks….! And I'd like to hear all those conspiracy theories in that mind of yours too."

We continued our discussion, and just like that, our journey to Jaya Island went by quickly.

There was no way to use words to describe such a thing. This was a form of insight that one might have into the Laws!

The next morning, Linley’s team headed to Redbud Castle.

“Before heading to the Indigo Prefecture, we at least have to gain some basic information regarding the geography of the Infernal Realm. Only then will we be able to work out a pathway.” Linley currently only knew that the Infernal Realm had five enormous, virtually endless continents, as well as the Starmist Sea and the Chaotic Sea.

To get to the Indigo Prefecture of the Bloodridge Continent…

Linley only knew that they had to first leave the Redbud Continent, then pass through the vast Starmist Sea before finally reaching the shores of the Bloodridge Continent.

Within the main hall on the first floor of Redbud Castle, Linley’s group hadn’t noticed any book selling counters last time. They first went to ask some of the customer service representatives, from whom they learned that actually…Redbud Castle had items for sale in more places than just the counters.

There were some standalone rooms as well.

The books were placed in a standalone room at the sides of the main hall. Linley’s team went into the room. There were very few people who were here looking at books.

“So many books!” Bebe sighed in amazement as he looked at the books.

“Search carefully. Let’s find information regarding the geography of the entire Infernal Realm.” Linley said.

The three began to carefully search. There were quite a few books that described the geography of the Infernal Realm. Some focused on describing the Nightblaze Prefecture, while others described the massive Redbud Continent. But as for describing the entire Infernal Realm, Linley found only a single book, which was just a simple atlas-type book.

What Linley needed wasn’t just a map; it was something which would describe the threats and the risky areas of the Infernal Realm.

After all, the three of them weren’t all that powerful yet. If they were to fall into a dangerous area, it would be disastrous. It was best to learn of these things beforehand.

“Linley, Bebe, come over and take a look.” Delia called.

Linley and Bebe immediately walked over. Currently, Delia was holding a dark red book that was five or six centimeters thick. On the cover of the book were four words: “Infernal Realm, General Summary”. Bebe pursed his lips. “A thin book like that? If it was the type which went into great detail, it would require several hundred books of the same thickness.

“How much is this” Linley glanced at the nearby, violet-robed attendant.

The attendant walked over and glanced at it, then laughed and said, “A hundred inkstones.”

Linley immediately handed over a hundred inkstones. To Linley’s team, currently in possession of over a hundred million inkstones, this was nothing. Only, Linley’s team also understood…that their networth actually wasn’t that much.

After all, a single Deathgod Golem was worth a hundred million.

My name is Robert McGuire, nephew of certain famous herpetologist, since childhood my uncle alway tell me how amazing lizard world is, but my interest  herpetology only how cool a draco. Draco or also known as flying lizards or gliding lizards, the look when it gliding almost look like a dragon flying.

i will tell you people why right now i'm standing in boundless white room infront a f*cking majestic DRAGON!! 

it begin when my uncle call me to go with him to Forest of Torompupu Mountain on Sulawesi Central Core Indonesia. Upon arrival at the airport I was picked up by my uncle's assistant. he said my uncle didn't get to pick me up because he was busy researching his new findings.

finally I arrived at the research point in the forest. "Your uncle is waiting in the lab," said uncle's assistant. I went in and looked in the lab and watched my uncle and some of his colleagues discuss something.

aware of my presence they stopped discussing. "Ah, Robert, finally you came, here I want to show you," said uncle. I followed my uncle and stopped in front of a kind of iron cage covered in white cloth.

"a week ago my friend and I found a new species from Draco" while opening a white cloth covering the cage. inside the cage it was clearly seen a beautiful white silver draco on his head that had a rainbow color. did not have time to feel amazed, Draco's body turned golden yellow.

"this..."

"Ha ha ha I know you will be surprised to see this," my uncle said, patting me on the shoulder. "This draco is really very unique because the body color can change in a few moments". "besides that on his head there is a rainbow colored gem, the rainbow always moves irregularly".

"Uncle, what creature is this ?, I don't believe that this creature is a Draco!" still very surprised, I asked the uncle of the creature that was in front of my eyes.

"From its shape it is no different from other Draco, in terms of biology we cannot be sure, this Draco does not produce waste, we cannot take DNA samples because nothing can penetrate his body" uncle explained.

"Of course you can't hurt the god's incarnation" Suddenly a cynical voice came behind us.

"Who are you? And why can you come here?" suddenly the situation became tense with my uncle's question to a mysterious person who had just appeared.

"Who I am is not important, and why I can come here of course I get rid of all heretics outside!" smiling sarcastically. "but because I'm happy I will introduce myself, I'm zero a devotee and adherent of Tiamat". said the man while bowing like a servant.

"you! what do you want?" my uncle shouted, trying to protect me and Draco, "of course I want that unique lizard behind you, now I want you to get out of there before I get rid of you!" said the mysterious man while pointing a gun at us.

out of fear my uncle tried to pull me out of the lab but I remained silent out of curiosity. "incarnation of gods? adherents of Tiamat? why can you be sure this lizard is the incarnation of gods?" I said to the mysterious man.

"Didn't you listen to all of your uncle's explanations? Draco or the lizard could change color and there is a rainbow gem on his head written in the Book for followers of Tiamat" while removing a book from his pocket "here is written how to call the god Tiamat by sacrificing the lizard adamant's knife "explained his plan to me.

quietly I tried to open the iron cage, when I saw the open button I pressed it. but my movements were seen directly by the man. "wrong move kid!" while throwing a trigger at me. * DOOR * bullet pierced my heart. "ROOBEERT !!" uncle shouted, "too noisy" * DOOR * the man shot my uncle's head.

Ah ... why did this happen I haven't had the chance to watch the last Avengers movie, and many anime, manga, and novels that I haven't read yet ... at least I managed to save the god's bead ... '

It was a sunny day in the city of Asten in the east of the Ashul Empire. The streets were bustling with activities as a sea of people was moving back and forth each person towards his destination. Some people could be seen going in some buildings on the side of the road while some people were coming out from them. Men and women, late teens, middle aged and old, tall and short, wide and slim could be seen in this lively city. Tall buildings and towers could be seen everywhere. This is Asten, one of the Ashul Empire biggest and richest cities. There are over ten millions of people living in this city of about fifty thousand kilometers square. This city holds the headquarters of three of the continent's biggest academies namely the Rainbow Academy which has existed since the founding of the Ashul Empire at the East, the Green World Academy which mainly accepts females at the West and the most prestigious and most recent of the lot, the Ashul Military Academy which has groomed countless experts in both the martial and medical areas in the North. Besides these three academies exist some smaller academies which are not to be neglected like the Asten Institute of Science and the School of Engineering.

 Rainbow Academy,
The Rainbow Academy is one of the most ancient schools in the Alandria Continent. It is said that it already existed before the great beast tide a few thousand years ago when mankind was for the first time confronted to the mutated beast. That battle shook the continent and mankind lost more than half of its population during that war. At the time, the Rainbow Academy was one of the first academies to find ways to fight mutated beast. They found that just as the beasts had evolved, thus had mankind. That's how martial arts which had been relegated to mere sports regained its long lost prestige. Alongside the martial arts, mankind discovered the way to make magic weapons, miracle medicines and mystic music. After decades of battle, both the human and the mutated beast which had already become demonic beasts made a truce. And the Rainbow academy was one of the main forces of mankind during that era which is why even after the years, even though the academy is dying, no one dares to offend its teachers and students as long as they are part of it.
Although the Rainbow Academy isn't what it used to be, one could still see by its sceneries its prestige. The surface occupied by the Rainbow Academy is as big as a city in one of those smaller countries thousands of years ago. Its gate was enormous with the words 'RAINBOW ACADEMY' cared on it in gold. Its roads were really broad, about forty meters wide. On the side of the road stood tall and large buildings. But if looked from above, one would find out that the grounds of the academy were full of trees and grasses.
In classroom in the Rainbow Academy, middle aged man was doing the raw call after ending his lesson.

"He is not in class sir" said a girl who is 13-14 years old with a black silver hair in a pigtail cut. She has a small and pretty face and her figure denoted and unveiled growth potential.
"where has he gone to again?" asked the teacher.
"Don't know. Probably the library" replied the girl looking at an empty seat beside her.
"That guy, if he has such time to spend in the library eh should focus on his training. With his potential I don't believe that he would still be at the Martial Disciple 9thlevel after four years…" said the teacher disappointingly. 
The man in question was actually busy reading a book. He was so focused that someone could easily come and still his purse on the table that he would not realize. On the tables and the floor around him were totally full of books, each thicker than the others. There was actually ten of such books on the floor and one could see that they had just been read by someone.
At that time, a group of students that was passing by noticed the engrossed Raphael a few steps away. Seeing how focused he was and the pile of books by his side, they were stunned. One of the students asked "Who is that guy? What a poser"
"yep! A real poser!" Replied one of his mates.
"is it a new way to hit on girls?" added another one.
"Silence! This is a Library!" asked a cold voice from behind them.
When the guys turned around to see who was asking, they were stunned. The one appearing behind them was a beautiful woman. She was brown skinned young woman seemingly in her late teens. She had black hair that rested in her slender shoulders. On her curvaceous body she was wearing a black female suit with high-heels shoes. The lot put together with her icy cold air on her face made her seems simply enchanting; if not for the plate of meals she was caring. Behind her were five other students, three boys and two girls holding a few dishes.
"Miss Michelle" said the students almost at the same time when they identified who the person was.
Michelle Aiden, the granddaughter of the Rainbow Academy's Dean Gordon Park, and a great genius. She is ranked in the top 10 experts below 30 in the Ashul Empire with a cultivation base at the 2ndlevel of the Martial Prince
Without a word she walked pass them followed by her crew. One of the boys behind her said while walking pass the crowd: "He is Raphael Lance" 
Hearing the name, all the students thought about someone. A legend which had shaken the whole city to the point that to everybody it was a myth: The Legendary bookworm. 
The group was shocked. They have heard about this legendary figure in the academy, just that they never believed those rumors to be true. 
Raphael Lance, a boy with the abilities to become a peerless genius in the martial way as he was born with great physical abilities and talent for the martial arts. It is said that when he was brought over by the Dean from the Dark demon Forest, he was seven years old and level 9 Martial Disciple already with a great battle power able of fighting opponents two-three levels higher than him. One has to know that most people only started training in the martial way at eight. While Raphael at that time was merely seven years old, yet had already trained to the peak of the first realm.  Although in the greater empires they wasn't a lack of geniuses who had cultivated to the peak of the Martial Disciple in a little bit more than a year, those geniuses usually came from those big families and were thus trained with the best resources, in the best environment by the best teachers. 
Compared to them, Raphael was definitely a commoner, at least before he was adopted by the Rainbow Academy's dean Gordon. But even then his talent was such that even with all those advantages, all those young geniuses from the great families were inferior to him at the same level. What was more shocking was that he had beat the crap out of a second layer Martial Master who had trained in high mortal grade martial arts in just three moves without any martial art.  
 But he became so engrossed in books that he forgot his training for four years. At the beginning the Dean thought that he was merely fooling around so he decided to probe him. Result, the Dean was scared off by the guy's deep theoretical foundation and exempted him from taking part in classes. He is such a bookworm that he often enters the library only to leave a few months later to go out to the forest for a month or two before going back straight to the library.
Now, it is said that only the Dean, Vice-Deans and some elders in the academy can match him in theoretical knowledge. Of course he still can't compare to the teachers because of his lack of experience. Rumour has it that he has already read hundreds if not thousands of books. All these had brought him the nickname 'Legendary Bookworm'.
A few meters away from them, Michelle was putting the plate on the table next to Raphael, who didn't seem to notice her. She stood for a while, looking at the young boy who was focused on the thick book opened before him. She then started collecting the books he had already read and put them back each in its place.
 

The story of Raphael Lance, an extremely talented and gifted young boy whose entire family's had been destroyed and who was raised by his mother. One day while he was playing in the woods, his spirit fused with a part of the Heaven's Library which holds the records of every single events that happened since the birth of the creation of the universe. Well, il held as it was destroyed during a war between angels and demons. The library fused in the form of a system which allows the already greatly talented to have deeper and better trainings. The only catch is that while other people have bottlenecks due to talent, ressources, or weak foundations, Raphael's "bottlenecks" are due to lack of knowledge.

Hello and welcome! AkaGin here welcoming you to a (new) story in WN! So yes, Rainbow of the Horizon, or NijiHo is my latest work here. This is the extension, or simply the sequel for Normal In Parenthesis (I suggest that you read it first because there might be holes that can only be filled by NoFutsuu) because I ended it due to burnout.
Anyway, I have to explain and apologize a lot. Readers from Normal in Parenthesis might know that NoFutsuu originated from a final draft of the story from 2017 that was edited many times by myself. I thought that the following is a small detail, so I tried to hide the existence of NijiHo after the main story of NoFutsuu ended.
I guess my burnout really did a ton on me that's why I probably did that from stress. But in actuality, months after the final draft of NoFutsuu was finished, I decided that I wanted to continue. I got to about ten chapters, but then the said burnout got to me. I tried to think of a new story, but I failed and almost hid this story. I am very sorry for that.
Now that it's out of the way...
Long story short, Rainbow of the Horizon is also a pre-written story I have made to continue from Normal in Parenthesis. So schedule will probably be stable for a month or two (I'm also still in vacation). But! It has not ended yet. I am still writing usable drafts. I plan on writing a hundred chapters or so. Also, I hope that I made a better beginning to the story since the start of NoFutsuu is objectively boring and dull. Even I do admit that at this point in time lol.
 
The cover! Yes, the cover. Actually, the current cover of Normal in Parenthesis is newer than the current cover of this story. I made the illustration in July 2018 last year (when it was flooding). Dare I say, this cover is actually not better than the current cover of NoFutsuu. But I still decided to make it the cover since the location is ********** in *****, which got in to the flow of the story with no problem.
So once again, if you are a new reader, I suggest that you take a pause here and read the completed Normal in Parenthesis as the prequel to this. For those who came from NoFutsuu, thank you for still reading my works.

"-And my mother told me that I won't ever find the end of the rainbow," thinks the principal
"What does this mean, Mr. principal?"
"I've never seen anything like this in my entire life. But I don't think it means you are a magical girl or something. Take your catalyst and try to use it now. Remember, put your magical power in it just like you did on the ground. Let's see what will happen."
"Yes sir!"
Yoso takes the catalyst and starts concentrating. Then he widely opens his eyes and shots the magical power.
"Fire? Something is different about him though. I can clearly see the flame in his eyes, and also, some parts of his hair have turned orange. He has something special about him not gonna lie. I can see why Melyndor tried to get him." thinks the principal
"Hey kid, come there a little..."
As Yoso turns to the president's direction, the president starts feeling a strong heat coming from him.
"Calm your magical power down a bit. You are emanating too much, it might be dangerous."
-Without even needing an explanation, Yoso stops using his power.
"You've got great talent and a lot of mystery behind your powers. You said you wanted revenge? We are in a war with Authorania since the start of the world. I can let you take the final exam that you failed there, and make you a knight of ours. I'll provide you with a normal life and a place to stay if you serve our country like it is yours. So, what do you think?"
But Yoso became like a stone, murmuring some words: "A normal life? Me?"
"Mister! I can eat as much food as I want!?" says Yoso enthusiastic
"U-uh yes! Sure."
"Incredible! When can I take the exam?!"
"Since you aren't in a good shape- says the principal while looking at the "mummy" Yoso,
You can take it in a month. Also, I'd suggest you use a normal catalyst for a few reasons. This catalyst isn't really so good for your style, and it emanates too much life force. It isn't safe and in our country isn't a viable option for a catalyst. I'll provide you with a new one just before the exam. And as part of your test, you will have to use that one. You can keep this one as well though."
"Yes, Mister!"
"And stop that... My name is Laure Edroch."
"Yes, mister Laure!"
"Good, now look around and explore a bit. Try searching for Shimada Kein and tell him to come to see me when you see him. You can go now."
"Thank you, mister Laure!"
Yoso starts walking around the academy looking for Kein. He doesn't know anything about this place, neither this country. And most of the students that saw him around by now were scarred since he looks like a mummy. A girl leaves from a room on the corridor Yoso was walking on and rushing she bumps into Yoso. She falls down and then Yoso lays her a hand to get up.
"T-thank you- but after looking up she screams, M-mummy!"
Then she starts running away with her notebooks still lying on the floor.
"Mummy?, Is it some kind of food?" says Yoso after taking the notebooks from the floor.
He then starts reading the notebooks.
"So this is what they are learning there..."
Then, behind him, Yoso hears a familiar voice
"M-mummy!"
"Stop it Shizuo, it's not funny anymore!"
"Hey shorty, what are you reading?" says Kein
"A girl dropped those and then ran away screaming "mummy!"
We can already hear Shizuo and Kein laughing in the background.
"Did you see whose notebook this is?"
Then Shouko takes the notebook and looks on its cover
"Nagisa Nakahara, class 3-A. You should give those to her...but please wait until you are no more a mummy."
"What is mummy?" murmurs Yoso
"Leaving this, have you eaten already?" interrupts Kein
"No, I haven't eaten in two days."
"Get this kid some food! If he dies, the principal is gonna kill us!" says Shizuo
"Oh! By the way, Mister Laure said you have to go see him as I find you."
"M-mister Laure!? You called him Mister Laure?!" says Kein
"Yes. He told me to call him this," says Yoso while smiling with his innocent mummy face.
"I feel like I lost just now." murmurs Kein
Then Kein heads off to Laure's office and Shizuo and Shouko take Yoso to the canteen. At the canteen, Yoso is enjoying a great meal, with every other student there staring at the "mummy" with a chicken nugget. A half of an hour pass and Kein arrives at the canteen after a long discussion with Laure.
"Hey boy! The principal told me to get you to your new home. And also teach you about life force and stuff until your exam." says Kein
"Home?" says Yoso with a rather questioned look on his face
"Yes, idiot! You didn't think you'll be sleeping in the canteen, don't you?
"Well, this would be great!"
"Stop joking and come!" says Kein while dragging Yoso from the table
"I have to look after this kid for a whole month, the principal sure isn't going easy on me..." thinks Kein

Gradually, the distance between pirates and the marine was getting farther and farther, and eventually turned into a black spot and disappeared on the sea.

On the pirate ship, Rogen and the pirates were relieved. It was best for them to have no trouble with these marines.

The pirate ship was calm. After 3 hours of sailing, they saw an island ahead of them. Rogen directly ordered the pirates to go over there, the ship approached the port in fifteen minutes.

"Fred, when you get there, you will be safe."

Rogen went to Fred and said it with a smile on his face.

"Thank you, Rogen! You saved our lives."

Fred was grateful, and behind him, most people were excited and some bowed their heads feeling ashamed.

They wanted to report Rogen to the marine, they didn't expect that Rogen was a good guy. It was Rogen who saved them.

Most of these civilians had good intentions. They felt so guilty.

"When we get there, we will separate."

After thinking about it, Rogen finally understands that. His heart was relieved. He knew the source of that feeling, so he could handle it well.

Basically, they didn't eat for a whole day, and they stayed with this strict captain. These pirates were really facing massive pressure all the time. In this case, their physical energy naturally consumes faster because of hunger.

The pirates were annoyed by the acts of Rogen. Someone wanted to argue, but he was pulled back by his friend.

At that moment, he only cares about himself. He was checking the harvested coins after Ge Nie's possession.

After he saw his amount of possession coins, he got surprised.

When he used the Ip Man soul to defeat the greedy people in Loguetown, he only got few hundred Possession Coins, but now after defeating Sauder and some of his pirates, he got 5600 coins!

"Oh, you Ge Nie!" Rogen made a sigh, and then he starts looking at what he can obtain from Ge Nie.

"The ability: Hundred Steps Flying Sword!"

"The Rainbow Abyss Sword (Yuan Hong)!"

"The ability: The White Penetration Rainbow!"

Ge Nie had only three skills, but these abilities were more expensive than the abilities than Ip Man. Of course, that's because there was a huge strength difference between the two men. Ge Nie was stronger than Ip Man.
