And so, with many new goals in his mind, and teachers who wanted nothing more than for him to succeed, Lance continued as a student for two years and would only learn about new clan affairs through letters delivered to him. 

As expected, Lance was able to breakthrough into the 1st rank as a mystic after only the first month of his training, while now he was very close in breaking through to the 2nd rank. However, what shocked everyone who was paying attention in the Griffin Academy, Lance was able to in this time, also break into the 2nd rank as a warrior. 

The Griffin Academy, preferred students to remain lower ranked mystics, so that they could be well above average during each breakthrough, however, even with this in mind, Lance's willingness to spend all day into night training and becoming stronger and researching more, has allowed him to grow his strength a a normal mystic student at a different academy would without such shackles. 

Over the two years, Lance was now able to create 1st grade medical pills using the cauldron that the academy provided to every student. Due to this, Lance was able to build a small amount of wealth, while bartering with the teacher in charge of the school's finances to allow him to purchase materials at a low price. 

It was looked down upon by many jealous students, but because of his physical strength as a 2nd rank warrior expert, Lance was able to spar with mystics of the 2nd and 3rd ranks without falling too far behind. Each spar usually ended with Lance running out of strength from being bombarded by countless spells, or him getting close enough to his opponent in order to land a critical blow. 

With the help of Lily, Lance had learned more about the human anatomy and was even given some books on demonic beast's anatomies. With this level of knowledge, Lance's healing type techniques and skills became even stronger and more effective. However, Lily made it clear that he was still only a beginner as far as being a light elemental mystic was concerned. 

After attending both the introductory class in the morning and training with Lily in the afternoon for one year, Lily put in a request for Lance to allow his schedule to be altered. She understood half way through the year that Lance wanted to become a dual master and was showing very good progress in this regard, so she wanted to support this. 

Therefore, the dean also approved for Lance to spend his mornings training with his swordsmanship among other basic exercises which most experts of the warrior path would do daily to keep up with their training, while in the afternoon, Lily would help teach him many different light element skills. 

Some of these skills were of course for healing himself and his companions, but there were other types of basic skills that Lily wanted to teach him including creating a ball of light in order to light up a dark area, to even skills using the light element in more unconventional ways. 

And of course after dinner for several hours before falling asleep, Lance spent that time working on his alchemy skills and research. It was a normal speed of growth for an individual who wanted to become an alchemist to reach the level to create 1st grade pills within the first two years, but since Lance wasn't focused on this all day every day, it showed that he actually had what it took to genuinely succeed in this type of trade. 

Due to his recent breakthrough into reaching a one hundred percent success rate with creating 1st grade pills, Lily told Lance that he could take one week off from attending her class and should use this time to celebrate his success over the past two years. At first, Lily wasn't very fond of Lance, but seeing him grow at such an astonishing rate, allowed her to warm up more to him and care more about his well being and future. 

Now that it was a full week later after discussing this with her, Lance was now eagerly training his swordsmanship in the morning and was excited to see Lily once again to see what type of new training she might have in mind for him. He was now like a sponge that constantly absorbed information and was able to pick things up right away. 

This was not unusual for someone of the mystic path, because mystics were forced to become more in tune with the natural environment around them. In this regard, it allowed mystics to use their intelligence and mental capabilities for a much longer period of time.

With his clan declining quickly, Lance has no choice but to do what many experts choose not to, become a dual master; training as both a warrior and a mystic.

Only by becoming stronger on a much harder journey, would Lance have the opportunity to not only assist his clan, but to take one step closer to immortality!

John was a simple who could not be tied down. he traveled the world seeing sights . till one day at a cliff lookout a boy was playing on the edge and stared to fall john saved the boy at the cost of his life and was offered a new life with a condition but declined little did he no he had  no choice. 

This is a story of how john became the strongest so that he could have the most freedom .

Wang Xue mostly had boring days. Sometimes he would have time but nothing to do but just read books or act like a girl in front of others. However, a thought struck him. Wait a moment. If I'm able to remember my past life, then doesn't that mean I can also use the cultivation techniques there? It could devour cultivation techniques meaning that it would be incorporated as an available skill to train using <Eternal Devourer> while at the same time the manual will be left alone as if nothing happened to it. It could even devour memories! However it comes with a price of Spiritual Energy. The first two layers were enough  for a Heaven-grade foundation in his place. However with each layer he needs an extra fold of energy to cultivate.

When he thought about it, he was giddy with excitement as he started training <Eternal Devourer>.  He was able to instantly cultivate to the the 1st layer of Qi Condenser. After 6 weeks, he broke through and entered the 2nd layer. This was a monster-rate speed for any realm's geniuses. Even the most talented out of talented genius could only break through the 1st layer with a month's time and the 2nd layer with 6 months time, do know that this is only for the richest out of the richest people in the Heaven-grade realm. 

A few years later, it was his 5th birthday and everyone was celebrating. The occasion made him let out a slight smile rarer then anything else to others. This was due to his nickname, the Ice Princess. He got this as he rarely smiled to others as he only did so for his parents and for his quiet attitude. At first, everyone thought. Why is she always quiet? Yet over time, they accepted that and now she smiled so they celebrated harder ,despite not knowing the fact that they were called weirdos by the Ice Princess. If they heard that comment, they would complain and complain. YOU'RE calling US weirdos? YOU leave as soon as any events done. YOU are always quiet and unsociable. YOU barely appear anywhere else then the dining room,library and your room and when you do its only for some fresh air. After the celebration, Wang Xue entered his room to sleep. What? You thought he's a cultivation maniac? Wrong! People need to sleep these days... Just when the lights were going to be turned off, his mother opened the door. 

"Xia'er, are you asleep yet?" She asked. Wang Xue was puzzled for a moment as to why she would come to his room, he could only reply.

"No what is it mom?" Wang Xue asked curiously. Bai Xing let out a sigh and slowly said

"Xia'er, it's nearly time for the clan's annual age ceremony." Wang Xue only let an 'oh' before she continued "Your mom is only worried that you will be laughed at." By then, she already had 'her' in her arms as a hug pillow. "You know Xia'er, that us women have a lower talent in martial arts than boys. So if you got a bad talent, people will scorn you and you'll be hurt." Again, Wang Xue was touched as he then wrapped his arms around her to comfort her and said "Don't worry mom. I'll make sure they don't bully you."

Wang Xue was the God of Heavenspeak, the sacred realm above all. At first, it was great for him. The praises, adoration, respect. But in the end? He used to be a pampered Young Master with a desire for battle. So at his final days.

Kaito continued to read through the books and compared it to [Library Host]. When looking at the Monster's cultivation level there were no results in the library but in [Library Host] there were a ton. at Grade 1 they are in an egg, Grade 2 they are like a fuzzy shadow, Grade 3 is a slightly larger fuzzy shadow. Grade 4-7 are well defined monster with features that may help them. Grade 8-12 are humanoid like creatures with intelligence surpassing the average human.

Kaito noticed a few notes from past Lost World chosen people. The main topic arose is that it was best to hide your identity. With a Lost World believing that outside people and objects can help it easily welcomes them. With this it makes it extremely common for Chosen one's to be kidnapped and tortured so that other Worlds can receive more materials and resources.

Along with their unruliness they would have nothing that would hold them back. terrorizing the citizens to make them slaves, thoughtless slaughters just for fun, pillaging just for the sake of it. It truly sounded like hell and only few will know of what could truly happen. Just the thought of countless screams crying for help injustice ran through Kaito's mind.

A grin was drawn upon his face before a soft echo of a bell rummaged through the school. Kaito jumped to the school entrance and planned to wait for his lovely disciples while he coughed

"I experienced this injustice. No helps were given when they heard my plea. I'll take this as my right to exact vengeance. They say if you stare into the void the void stares at you. Your obsessed thoughts is what you become. To kill a murderer you become a murderer. Then I won't become like them. I'll be worse."

Textbooks, passages, stanzas. They're honestly not my type. Over there she's just having a blast mastering dozens of textbooks creating hundreds of poems and a professional. She's considered the perfect wife. It's actually pretty funny watch the boys all go after her and continue to get rejected.

It's even funnier when they point out the clear difference between us. She got the nickname 'Andrea the Graceful Scholar' if they saw her at home how can she be a so 'graceful. An absolute sloth I say but nobody believes me. Even if the truth is far-fetched it's still the truth. 

I can barely manage through the homework with the help of my sister then I have to help out Kaito with the bar. The only talents I have are my looks and bond with cultivation. If it weren't for Master... man would that be dark.

Finally, the damn bell rung. I'm saved. Life seems to be going pretty okay. Study, Cultivate, Sleep and work are the major parts of my life. Friends are... they could run off at any time so preferably i'm fine without them. The real strange thing is that Andrea hasn't made many friends. Definitely a sloth.

Kaito, Andrea and Jiao Bai walked side by side along the footpath. Andrea seemed worried as she asked 

"What about your attendance rate?"

Kaito smirked and said "I've got it covered" with a thumbs up and confidence exuding out of him anybody can trust him. 

"Having a cardboard cutout is extremely inefficient. Did you know that, Master."

With the response of Jiao Bai, Kaito's smile seemed more forced and some notable tear drops arose from his face his voice quivered as he asked

"What do yo-you mean by that?"

Jiao Bai flashed a smile while Andrea kept quiet. If you looked carefully in a small corner of the school buildings there is still a student remaining. A smile was listed onto his face with a serious expression and a hard working gesture was presented but if you looked to the side or behind him 
you would see a brown cardboard. 

It was extremely well made but no one dared to say anything or tried to do anything to it. This was done as the principal tended to keep a blind eye about this person with teachers commonly marking him as present. No one cared because they just needed to study and succeed.

Jiao Bai kept quiet however on the inside chanted

'Andrea don't do it'

Jiao Bai knew that Andrea is purposely testing the waters with how Kaito was becoming more friendly and even waiting outside their school. it made it more odd that Kaito wasn't wearing his usual wear and an actual uniform was there instead. Both Andrea and Jiao Bai were however too scared to ask about the white hair.

Kaito, Andrea and Jiao Bai arrived to their destination, The Trickster's Lobby. Andrea and Jiao Bai went to their own separate rooms located on the 3rd floor where they would study, sleep or cultivate.

Kaito however looked around the bar. The first floor consisted of a bar where he mixed drinks with chairs around that area for anybody willing to watch his skills play out or if they are looking around for a companion. In the center of the 1st floor was a pool table with cue sticks and a cue stick to the left of the tale for any billiard players. Towards the far right is a darts set. There are a few tables on the first floor that could fit four people each table. 

Located on the second floor were the silent rooms. Having a total of 12 booths, each could be rented out for drinking and playing some games. These games can be collected from the bartender who will give out cards or board-games depending on the request. The games can only be borrowed and not bought with even an option for a pamphlet or a guide to play the game. There is another option in which customers can borrow a book comprising of multiple drinking games.

With the evolution of Vladisk it made it extremely unlikely for the revolution of tabasco or alcohol being produced into the market. With that reasoning the introduction of the bar was a popular idea that hasn't been done meaning Kaito had to hand produce all alcohol and games. With the bar and drunk customers it made it extremely popular with the neighbors as they were bought out to be made into motels for drunken guests. 

The booths were made to have good sound proofing which enabled for some private meetings and talks. Kaito returned to a room on the third floor between Jiao Bai's and Andrea's room. It was simple with white walls, a coffin and a pile of books. Strange right? No one uses books nowadays with the internet. 

Kaito glanced at the pile of books before writing on a note he took out of his ring. He opened the coffin to find a small pillow and a hard wooden shell. Kaito entered the coffin and slept.

The clock struck 9 with 6 hours already passing with Andrea and Jiao Bai finishing their homework and Kaito just waking up.

Kaito made sure to look throughout the 1st and 2nd floor before proceeding to take out two notepads for Jiao Bai and Andrea.

Jiao Bai after wearing his uniform had a transformation. The original rough messy red hair was smoothed out into a rather handsome style coupled with the white gloves, white shirt, black coat and long pants similar to Kaito. Jiao Bai was definitely different compared to before, if any of his school mates were to witness this scene they would have to glance a couple of times before confirming this. 

Andrea was still the same beauty but with the same uniform as Jiao Bai she had a much different temperament. 

Handing a notepad to each of his disciples Kaito soon got ready to work as he brought out cups, bottles, cloths and many colorful bottles of alcohol.

Kaito flipped the closed side around to reveal an open sign.

Despite the age of a 17 year old being the boss of the store could easily be covered up by the mature clothes, tall height, menacing eye-patch, odd white hair and the scars that hid beneath his sleeves.

Along with the rush of customers that entered the store there was rush of orders that needed to be taken. Jiao Bai and Andrea were the waiter and the waitress carrying orders to Kaito, bringing games to the client and bringing alcohol to them. 

Nobody questioned the rather young looks of the workers and continued with their day.

Rather they laughed with enjoyment

"Jiao Bai you finished your homework"

"I bet he barely was able to read the homework"

"Andrea how was your day"

It was a common scene to see men flirting with Andrea and younger ladies joking with Jiao Bai. 
Jiao Bai tended to blush and tried to exit as fast as possible leaving the ladies with cheerful laughs while Andrea tried to rush out as many orders as she could.

Despite some patrons being drunk they still held some common sense to be able to pay, not drive and cause trouble. Of course there would be some exceptions.

You could hear the boisterous laugh, the friendly jeering at the billiard's table and the silence on the second floor.

A common patron was Lieutenant William who is probably training more recruits and Principal Michael.

The only reason why Kaito and his disciples could enter the school with Kaito's bad attendance was all due to him. Principal Michael was on the news a lot due to his son being on of the very few percent of humans who are still easily ill. 

Kaito with two years of experimenting alchemy, chemistry and pharmaceutical practices decided to help Michael's son. With a few fails here and there it would of course lead to some success. 

This earned Kaito a chance to sever his temporary troubles. This is why Kaito visited Sylvia. Vladisk being an unknown territory to Kaito meant he still had a lot to learn. 

"You got a new dye?"

Asked Michael however Kaito only responded with 

"Don't drink too much."

"I know, I know. When are you coming to school?'

Kaito had a resolute glare while he cleaned the glasses

"In a couple of weeks but i'll have to tell all my customers the change of time."

"Oh, your restaurant was it... you're going to school?"

"Yep, I've got enough time. Were you able to recover the materials? "

"you really do not know how much of a howling I got from my peers. It's at this location"

Kaito smirked to Michael's playful response and received a note.

On the second floor you could hear a girl scream. Michael was confused and asked Kaito.

"Isn't that Andr- where'd you go?"

Kaito reacted as soon as he heard that high pitched scream belonging to Andrea. He was already on the second floor when Michael was asking him a question. 

Kaito witnessed a clearly drunken man with rosy cheeks holding onto Andrea's wrist. Kaito watched and walked up to the man. He grabbed the man's wrist and held it tight.

The drunken man infuriated by being interrupted voiced his complaint "What are you doing"

Kaito smiled and replied "Being a good man" and with that he dislocated his wrist.

The drunken man screamed with pain.

The protagonist, Kaito discards his last name to embrace a new life and rid of the misfortune he has cause. 4 unfortunate deaths surround him just for living. With the whisper of a clown and the teachings of his master this could have been avoided, so why did you kept quiet?

With the death of his master he rejects his humanity with the alluring voice of the Pierrot "Receive power at the cost of mortality" "is it your humanity that refuses to accept?" "Take it". The laughter of insanity, chuckle of madness and the echo of a lunatic.

In all the worlds, those who can cultivate mana could become master cultivators, going beyond the ordinary beings while being revered. Those who have no cultivation are the people who are the lowest class in society. They are not even treated like humans who have human rights on earth, they would even be sold as slaves or luckily be chosen as servants but their life is not shown equal importance than the life of a master cultivator.

It is divided into 12 known ranks of prominent realms which are further divided into four minor realms: initial stage, middle stage, late stage, and peak stage. While the other realms after the 5th realm could only be accessible by mortal master cultivators who have the understanding of their path.

Spiritual suitability is what could determine how far someone's rank, achievement, strength, or power will be able to reach. The most common knowledge for master cultivators is the perception that there are only 4 grades of spiritual suitability. The 4 grades are: 1st grades, 2nd grades, 3rd grades, and 4th grades.
 
The 1st grades have a mana storage filled with mana to the brim. Master cultivators who have such suitability are exceptional because they have the potential to reach rank 5 or even have an opportunity to become an immortal. The 2nd grades have mana almost filled to the brim, this suitability is desirable and the highest prominent realm achievable is rank 3 to 4. The 3rd grades has a mana storage that is half full and their mana is restored slower than cultivators that have the 2nd grades, the highest realm they could reach are rank 2 or 3. The 4th grades or the last grades have the weakest suitability in having mana, the highest realm achievable with this grade is only rank 1 but if they work hard, they could possibly reach rank 2 initial stage.

But there are also fortuitous encounters, situations, or chances when a person has the production of high quality to potent mana. This people are known as superior human beings. Because of this, they may have a body greater than the limits of a normal master cultivator.

Drip, drip, drip

The spring rain quietly stopped raining down onto the dry earth.
As the sun rises, a slight breeze was blowing with the light rain that then quieted down as warmth was starting to fill the headland.

The headland was no longer covered by darkness; from the village to the shore, it was slightly bright as there was a feast that was about to be celebrated.

Lights still shone from the buildings which were less than a thousand in number. Located on the headland near the seashore was a castle protected by gigantic walls, it was the city of Artoria. A grand celebration was planned to happen for tomorrow.

In a house situated there, a family lived in peace preparing for the test and feast to happen. There were still chores and works to do early in the morning to prepare for the celebration which would happen after the spiritual suitability test or otherwise known as the rising ceremony for the students who would take the first step of mana cultivation.

"Rin, wake up!" A loud knock could be heard behind the door.

"Mm..." he mumbled as he turned over. 'Who is that calling for me? It's still too early...' He dimly opened his eyes but immediately closed it to protect it from the dazzling ray of the sun. He then buried his face deeper into his pillow.

"RIN! AR! TO! RIA!" the door was then knocked twice as loud as it ever was, than before.

'This voice... it sounds familiar... isn't this dad's voice?!' He blasted up and dashed out of bed. 'Forget about my breakfast, I even forgot to brush my teeth before dad banged the door again!'

"Son, if you don't get out immediately, I'm going to move on to the switch!" Saying these words, his dad let out a grin.

"I-I'm coming dad!" He pulled on his pair of shoes and hurried out.

As he went out of the door, he saw his dad with a middle-aged man's appearance, his sideburns were greying out and he was clothed with a fancy white robe with a belt that shows his rank three cultivation.

"You weren't still sleeping, were you?" He raised an eyebrow at his messiness. Being a man of righteousness and discipline, Roman, his father dislikes it when others didn't heed to the similar principles like he has. "Have you forgotten that tomorrow you'll participate in the rising ceremony?" He pointed at the calendar.

"O-of course not! I was just... reading some books." He blushed from embarrassment as a sheepish smile projected in his face.

"Sigh, no need for excuses. Just go on with your training and after, prepare yourself properly for the ceremony." He snorted and turned away facing the kitchen.

Rin took quick steps as he arrived at the back of their house where a practice dummy made of wood was placed on the center of their backyard. He did his warm-ups and started hitting the dummy with his practice sword. He swinged, slashed and dashed towards the dummy but he stopped when his father called for him.

"Son, your second uncle is here, come quickly. He has something to tell you."

"I'm coming dad!" He sheathed his practice sword and used the collar of his robe to remove the sweat on his forehead.

"Second uncle, you've called for me?" He bowed to the middle-aged man who had a fit body build and showed his respects to him, who is his relative.

"Oh yes, yes. I have been looking for you. I heard you're going to participate in the rising ceremony?" He smiled as he gazed at Rin.

"Yes, I am going to participate, hopefully I'm going to succeed all the challenges, trials and tests in the ceremony." He nodded.

Truly his second uncle, was glad to hear about this. Ever since Rin was a small child, he was known as a genius within the city. He knew how to speak their language when he was only 3 months old and finished reading numerous academic research books, journals and more when he was 5 years old.

His Intelligence was above any average child that's why he was considered as the future of their clan. And if the rising ceremony would show that his spiritual suitability is above the 2nd grade, then he'll really be taken care by the clan leader and be shown as a really valuable cultivator in the clan.

Humans are good and nobody is evil on Earth for all of us have conscience and the heart created by God.

But the three main realms (human, heaven, and earth) of the multi-verse is different!

"You are spirit beast if others found out about this, you will be in a dangerous situation. Wait till we reach a clear understanding of the Phantom city, then we won't have to be afraid." Ye Xian grumbled and spoke again: "Go play at one side and don't disturb me."

Ye Xian then took the alchemy book, from inside his robe and placed it on the cable. He took a deep breath and blew the clouds of dust in the book.

In the front page of the book, he could see a clear and neat title, 'Alchemy of Nature'. 

He soon tranquilized his mind and began to concentrate his full attention on the book. Within a few seconds, Ye Xian was totally captivated by the profound words in the book. 

'Alchemy - It's a creation of something meaningful from nothing.' 

'It's simply a process of transmutation, purification, and the creation of something new.'

'In Transmutation, one will analyze and study how to change certain something. Example: Changing base metals into gold.'

'In purification, one will purify the unwanted things that will disrupt the alchemy process.'

'Creation, as the name implies, we create something new using the above two process.'
