I woke up the next morning in a great mood. Yesterday had been a good day. I had sent the link to Steamstorm and though he did not purchase my Jumpbot, he was a potential customer. Having a potential customer after just two days was great. After sending the link, I went into another two Arena battles and acquitted myself well on both occasions. Another reason for my good mood was the soft announcement the System gave me before I fell asleep yesterday night.
I called up the System and went under the Jobs tab. Right there beside Battlesuit Designer was my second job; Marketer- Trainee. I ignored it for now, went to the Skills tab and saw my new skill; Quick-Thinking Promotion. I smiled and notice that the Mission tab was blinking. I accessed it and saw my reward.
[Mission completed. 5,000 DP awarded to User Tobias Wong. New Mission available]
I was surprised and happily so. Someone must have bought my Jumpbot. I just made my first sale! I jumped up with my arms raised in triumph. Luckily I lived alone or I would had woken someone up with all my screaming. After a few minutes of celebrating and fist-pumping, I calmed down and selected the Mission tab to see my new mission.

Wow! My human went into overdrive, blinking several times to make sure I was seeing this right. A million credits? That's…actually pretty reasonable. The main reason why there were so few Battlesuit designers in the market was due to cost. Modern Battlesuits cost millions to design and build so a million is actually a pretty good estimate of a Grade 0 Battlesuit. My mind went into overdrive and my cybernetics pull up my contacts. I had linked my cybernetics to my mobile phone long ago and accessed it remotely to make the call. I went out to the kitchen with my mobile, set my phone on speaker mode and began making breakfast. My eggs were still boiling when the line was picked up.
"Hello, Jaya here."
"Hey Jaya, Toby here. You remember me?"
"Of course! William hasn't stop bitching since the day his best worker suddenly decide to quit to go straight."
"Ha. As if I'll believe that. How's the old miser anyway?"
"Same old same old. Vehicles still need to be repaired and business has been steady though the money is really in the exotics."
"Oh, sounds like you got something."
"You know how it is; the more exotic the modification, the more it cost to do the job. Interested?"
"You heard about me going straight right?"
"And I'm a vehicle broker running a totally legal service. However if some customers want to install some parts in their vehicles that bend the rules a little, and a new repair company quietly agrees to it, that's something I know nothing about."
"Except for your cut."
"If some kind soul want to give me a little extra on top of my commission for making such an introduction, I would hardly say no. That's totally out of my hands.""
"Ha! I take it we are on a secure line."
"Always. So you want an introduction? As a first timer, I would even give you a discount on my cut."
"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind but I'm calling you about something else. How much do you much about the production license of old Battlesuits?"
"Battlesuits? How old? And what's this about?"
I told him about my new business in designing and building new modified Battlesuits. I didn't tell him about the System or who my father was of course but I told him about using Dive for the designs and my need for someone to handle the licensing agreement.
After I had finished, he replied almost immediately. "You are crazy! You know how much it cost to get the licensing agreement for the Steambot alone? The money…"
"I set aside a million credits for all the licensing."
"Correction; you are not crazy, you're just an eccentric millionaire. I'll get right on it."
"You sure you can do it? It's not really what you usually do right?"
"Hey, you're talking to the best vehicle broker in the SEAL."
"I thought only in Singapore, and maybe in parts of **…"
"You won't find a better man in the whole of the League. Sent me the parts you need and I'll get you the info by today or…I'll give you a further discount on my commission."
Jaya cut off the line and I could only laugh at the shamelessness of the man. He was always good fun and he was right, he was the best vehicle broker in the League. I quickly send him details of the Steambot, X-S Cable Punch, IK Battle-axe, and SH-3 Legs. Putting the broker out of my mind, I turned on the news. It was still on the kaiju off the west coast of America and the news agencies even had a shot of it via sonar-photo. It looked big and the various governments in North America has been putting out news on how prepared they were to meet the coming disaster. A news anchor even said that unofficial sources claimed that there was an offer from the famed mercenary group Demon Cannon Regiment to combat the kaiju if it ever made landfall. As the Regiment was mostly a mech group, their offer was being seriously considered by several of the smaller countries.
I listened to the news before switching off the channel and went onto the net. I turned to Solar Chance or as it is more commonly known, the solar gambling website. It is a site that give gamblers quotes on anything and everything, and true to form there were odds given on the kaiju. There are ever-changing odds on where it would land, how much damage it would create, how many lives would be lost, even one on whether the Earth Satellite Laser needed to be used to kill it. I scanned through the site before putting some credits on where it would make landfall. I threw the dishes into the sink before going up to the roof. It was time to go to work.
By the time I arrived at the workshop, I already got a message from Jaya. I went to the Dive console to access the message and saw that he already got the quotes for the various licensing agreement. He only need my okay to seal the deals. It was shockingly fast. I had expected word from him only in a few days and saw that Jaya also sent me a private message. I quickly accessed it and found out why he was able to get the quotes so quickly.
The rights to the IK Battle-axe was held by a small virtual company that exist solely on the Dive designer platform. Only a minimum payment was required and even that might not be necessary as it was highly doubtful that the company could afford the legal fees to take me to court. Jaya however suggested that I just pay them as the payment was so small it just wasn't worth the risk of going to court.
The rights to the Steambot and the X-S Cable Punch were held by the same company. Called Classic Knight Private Limited, they were delighted by Jaya's enquiry and offered him a twenty year production license agreement on the Steambot for sixty thousand credits. They would throw in the agreement of the Cable Punch for free if I agree to it. Jaya had the impression that someone asking for the production license of the Steambot was a rare occurrence. The situation with the SH-3 Legs was no different.
Held by a company called Clockwork Lovers, the small company was created by enthusiasts of clockwork technology and they holds the rights to several clockwork machinery. According to Jaya, they all but admitted they can't remember when was the last time someone wanted to buy a license agreement from them and a man who call himself the company president got on the line with him to thank him personally. He also wanted to know who the buyer was. Jaya brush him off by saying he needed to consult me before giving out the name. Jaya also wanted to know if I really want to use 'The Fat Tinkerer' as my company name.
I gave a small laugh. Although I thought up the name on a whim, I liked it. I'm fat; tinkering is the first skill I gained through the System; and the name was a subtle tribute to my father. It wasn't a great name, but it was fitting and I was going to keep it. I began looking through all the documents Jaya sent me and was surprised by how low the prices were. After thinking about it, I realized it made sense. There may be a niche market for Steam and Clockwork machines but most of the buyers would be looking for vintage and classic machines. Few buyers would be interested in a brand new modified Steambot. It almost make me pray to the non-existing Gods that the System was not going to give me a new mission to sell the Jumpbot.
"System, you're there?"
[Yes, User Tobias Wong. How may I assist you?]
"I take it you won't be able to tell me if you are going to give me a future mission to sell my Jumpbot?"
[That is correct. As I had said before, the Mad Triple did not want to unduly influence the choices of his descendants, only to help them on their life journey. Thus I am unable to give information on future missions before you unlock them.]
"Thought so."
I typed out a message to Jaya telling him I was happy with the terms given and to complete the agreements. I added that the company name is staying and his commission fee would be transferred to his account once the agreements were signed. I hesitated for a moment before sending out the message. Jaya must have been waiting for my reply as he confirmed my message almost immediately. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. Now that the paperwork is done, I'm finally a bonafide Battlesuit Designer. Now for the fun part of the job; Production.

The entrance exam was interesting except for the last question. You laughed your a** off when I answered it. The question quoted:

"Who/What do you want to be"
I answered "A human"

It's kind of ironic, isn't it Clown. Is it too late to change the answer because I hope not. My snarky attitude got me nowhere except a chance to enter the school. Truly laughable. I managed to enter my class to find a charming girl at the door. Long black hair at the level of her shoulder, a surprised face and an awkward stance. She chuckled shyly before walking past me with a gaze of confusion. You made fun of me so much just because of that.

I noticed a sleeping man. I originally thought he pulled an all-nighter but you knew what really 
happened, so why didn't you tell me? We chatted a bit and he seemed extremely chilled, laid back and incredibly calm. I never picked up this strange behavior so I continued to befriend him. It was extremely successful and even that girl joined us. Li Ning and Angela. 

Li Ning tended to glance at Angela with a confused glare but I ignored. Angela seemed puzzled by my actions of gentleness and awkwardness. Yet again my ignorance took over me and you said jacks***. We hanged out a lot and it was strange as the dean would pay attention to me a lot but I was pretty sure it was because my intelligence and even you agreed. The real odd thing was a man would follow me whenever I returned back to my home. You noticed this already and we've gone through so much trouble so you better tell me why. Just look at what happened when you kept secrets a grave and small amount of essence. 

I learnt his name was Alexander. He fitted his name indeed as he would always get the highest score in the whole school and would smirk with disdain at me. What did I do? This happened for a few months until my birthday. I learnt that Angela and Li Ning also lived in the dorms and decided to throw a birthday in my room.

It was extremely simple with just a cake and a couple of soda cans. I later treated them with dinner and it was great. I even received a notebook, they remembered what I need. We all slept well until I woke up. It was a pitch black room made out of bricks. I could feel the cold dead soil. I heard the rustling of the rusty chains, the soft breathing echo. My limbs were bounded to the wall and I couldn't move, everything felt so weak. The room was spinning until a door opened.

"It's been done" the emotionless voice mumbled, originating from the heavily dressed man covered by cloth. Holding a cane and barely able to stand he hunched over closer to us.

The light shining through the sudden gap allowed me to recover my vision to witness Li Ning Tied to a cross and Angela stuck to board of wood. A condemning laugh entered my ears

"I've done it. Are you waking up? Don't worry we'll be done later."

Sylvia you must have been laughing your a** off witnessing my unsightly look. It was a whole day of torture for each of us. Angela was first. Alexander grabbed a whip and shredded her body every time I hear the strike of air. I watched and remained quiet.I couldn't react because I didn't understand anything.

She was the first to die out of the three of us. I will forever remember her last words. Look I even wrote it down in case you forgot.

"I'll accept you as my brother and do you remember who I am?"

The scene was atrocious, her body was dismembered without a hint of dignity that could've been saved. and the dead fish like eyes stared me down. The funniest thing of all during that time I kept a list of quotes. I'll pick a few of my favorites.

 Great quotes right. Actually i'm not quite sure what you heard or listened to. You never told me anything. When will you tell me anything? It was quite laughable I imagine is what your thinking. I truly learnt some great morals from you. I always ran from my problems and ignorantly accepted them But you were the one who gave me the chance to change that. 

As I opened my mouth to make an oath "I swear to the Heaven's truth that I Kaito when given the chance to protect my loved ones will take it and use any means necessary"

Don't worry Sylvia for there is much more to come. Li Ning was next with Alexander using a sword with many grooves that were meant for purposely opening wounds rather than for stabbing. It was an incredibly amazing invention in my eyes. The real odd thing was Li Ning never awoke for even a second yet he still got tormented for me. Remember that heavily dressed man because he finally made his move pointing the cane at Li Ning with shards of ice slowly growing on to him. 

It was fascinating I had to say because I was next up on the chopping block. Alexander used the blade to cut me dozens of times and I've got to thank pharmacy for actually giving me the chance to recover but when he was about cripple me you showed up. What perfect timing, the time before my limbs were crippled and my eyes impaled you showed up. Were you waiting?

I remember the scene so vividly you appeared with a majestic and prideful aura following after you before stopping that oddly dressed man. You were so close to killing him but you said to me was much more memorable.

"Here is my inheritance. Take it. Revive me when you understand what I intended. Do not research me and live on."

You only gave that quote before giving me a ring with an ice coffin with Li Ning, a necklace containing most of your memories in a soul and a book. You may have forgoten Angela. With that I was knocked out and arrived in here. After a year i'm back. If you know what I experience within the two years then I should be really scared. 

I wonder if you waited for that exact time? What did I do to deserve your hate? Was it because you called me a wussy for not being able to swim or I was scared of heights. Was it because I never had a strong resolve. Please tell me. Oh wait... I have to wait until i'm this mature adult right? Just watch I will have 5 wives with plenty of children making me really mature right. 

I haven't quite told you what happened within these two years, so let me tell you a story. I was in this cave full of dread. I managed to carve two names on the wall with the name Angela and Elder. You wouldn't want your real name on there in the first place because you're waiting for me to revive you right? 

I learnt this thing called "Filial Piety" which was to respect older people however you'll be the only person who deserves it. I kneeled before your temporary grave and Angela's grave. I somehow managed to cry for a whole two days and for some reason by the third day I cried out some red water. I could taste the saltiness and smell something like iron in my tears. I couldn't stand it so by the third day I was able to head over to a small lake close to the pond. 

Did you like my present? I saw two people who looked two years younger than me. One a male, one a female and both siblings. Pretty neat, huh. They seemed so weak because they were running away from this shadow like monster. I later found what it was called a Grade 2 Monster. Such a unique name, am I right. He chased them with no shape being defined it pulled in closer to the siblings and that's when I heard  The Clown. 

That's right you can finally introduce yourself but you can do that later. I heard the voice of a devil. It whispered in my ear countless captivating phrases. Here, you can listen to what I heard at the time. I mimicked a raspy mature voice.

"Is it power you desire? Would you like to taste the sweet nectar of power? I'll give it to you at only a small price. Take it. Just Take it. Take it."

I cried for three days straight and now I got a chance to receive power. With my clouded mind I had to take this chance and so I said "yes, I will take it". I felt something inside me churn. I felt an intense pain before blacking out. Despite me passing out I could still feel the pain. It felt like tweezers slowly pulling my skin. It started with hair being pulled out to the sensation of my skin being ripped, my muscles being torn, my nerves shredded, my bones crushed and my internal organs sliced. It pretty much hurt. I eventually woke up to see my shirt drowning in cold sweat and the two siblings still alive but still being chased.

I was so desperate to see you again so I had the simplest thought "I'll become a master just like you with my own disciples". It's pretty funny now that I think about it but it was good thought as I now have two geniuses learning under me. With pure brute strength I managed to kill that monster. 

The siblings were both 13 years old and were incredibly meek. I easily made them my disciples and now you have yourself a pair of grand-disciples. The boy is named Jiao Bai, and is currently 15. He has an insane level of loyalty yet he still doesn't have a crush. You'll see him blush easily if he's around a girl but he is extremely skilled with cultivation and according to your books he's considered a Grade 4 now. 

The girl's name is Andrea. It's quite a perfect name because it depicts her courageousness and bravery however at least it didn't mix with foolishness. Her intelligence is truly mature and calculating but she definitely won't betray me. She is extremely interested in history and making patents for old improved items and intricate weapons and is now considered a type of scholar within the school.

After waking up from killing that monster I analyzed my body. it seemed like a human but when looking through your books I realize that my Dantian, meridians and Acupoints were fully opened. I couldn't cultivate normally. Dammit Clown, you should've told me earlier. What do you mean it was a part of your job. Can you stop with the excuses. 

It took me a year to learn that I had to slowly tread through this cultivation. If I focus on one side I harm myself. It meant that I would cultivate three times slower but three times the strength. I didn't have time for this but you got to play the hand your dealt with at least. Why the hell are you smirking Clown.

Turquoise Villa, Houston.
The wind was still and the ocean was tranquil, reflecting the colours of the resplendent sunset that was a brilliant mixture of red and orange with the touch of a gorgeous pink. Most of the flowers had their petals lowered preparing themselves for bedtime, not forgetting to leave an alluring scent in the atmosphere while the birds were seen flying in two's and three's below the beautiful sunset.
In the pond directly behind the vast field of flowers and trees, the goldfishes, carps and shrimps were swimming happily without a care in the world beside the corals and the gray and black pebbles. The water from the pond was flowing downhill, trickling and making rippling sounds through carefully placed rocks making a mini waterfall which stretched towards the end of villa.
Standing at the edge of an octagonal, open-aired balcony was a beautiful girl wearing a white lacy backless sundress. Her platinum blonde layered wavy hair coloured with silver highlights was let loose over her shoulders and covered her bare back to her waist making the sexy sundress appear modest. Placing her elbows on the modern balcony guardrail, Penny closed her eyes when the ocean breeze caressed her face and let out a satisfied sigh while basking in the afterglow of the sun marking the end of the day. 
With the rays of the colourful sunset dying her white dress and making her platinum blonde hair highlighted with silver seem to have a touch of rose gold and the colours of flowers of different varieties as her backdrop, Penny appeared to be iridescent and ethereal. At least that's what Cy thought when he walked into balcony.
It was dinnertime and ever since they moved here two years ago, it was a ritual for them to eat together, so he was looking for her. But he didn't expect her to be standing there looking extremely beautiful. Going into dreamland, he imagined himself walking up to her, placing his palm on her waist to pull her towards himself and hugging her from behind before placing light kisses on her hair, both her shoulders, cheeks and last of all her .......
His imagination was cut off by Penny's beautiful voice, "Why are you just standing there Cy? It's been almost 5 minutes" she said with her eyes still closed and her back facing Cy.
Breaking out of his reverie, Cy smiled and walked towards Penny before also leaning on the guardrail, "Why aren't you coming in for dinner?", he asked while looking at the setting sun and the beautiful scenery it created with its lustrous colours.
Opening her eyes, Penny asked,"Is that all?"
"What?", asked Cy confused.
"Standing there for close to 5 minutes, is that all you wanted to ask or.....tell me?", Penny asked before turning towards Cy with a smile on her face.
Cy wished Penny didn't turn to look at him as he almost blurted out his innermost thoughts when he saw her light blue eyes mixed with a hint of black at the iris, petite nose and her irresistible smile. Her eyes which appeared to reflect the colours of the flowers and sunset made him wonder if she had sectoral heterochromia. Taking deep breaths Cy reminded himself not to have fantasies about Penny for the nth time while repeating, 'She's like your sister!' severally in his mind, totally shutting the voice that kept telling him, 'Well, she's not your biological sister!'.
When he saw Penny raising her eyebrows inquisitively, Cy hurriedly straightened up.
"Uh… I… I..I was just…not…expecting you to be..so beautiful...I mean to be..here! I just wanted to remind you to come pretty, I mean…eat! " said Cy while raising his hand to scratch his silky brown hair.
Looking at Cy still stammering and falling over his words as usual, Penny chuckled before linking her arm with his and looking him in the eye, "Come on, let's go." she said making Cy seem like he was electrocuted. Seeing his shocked look, Penny chuckled one more time before pulling him back into the villa and towards the dining room while Cy's line of sight remained on their linked arms.
At the dining table, Avi was setting the last of the dishes when she heard footsteps and looked up to meet Penny's gentle smile and Cy's shocked face. Raising her eyebrows, Avi cleared her throat while giving Cy a knowing smile which made him quickly unlink his arms from Penny. Coughing to hide his embarrassment, Cy made his way to the kitchen to wash his hands…again but the little tinge of red on his ears did not escape Avi's sight which made her smile brighter.
'Like your little sister my foot', she thought.
Looking at the table covered with plates filled with lasagna, lamb chops, Italian pasta, chicken curry, casserole, chicken roast, macaroni and cheese, braised pork and a chocolate cheesecake sitting right in the middle of it all, Penny and Timmy gulped noisily.
"They smell wonderful Avi!", Penny exclaimed before quickly sitting to reach for the lasagna.
"Have I ever told you how much I love your cooking, Avi?", Timmy asked while also reaching to take a piece of the lamb chops. 
However, .....
'PAH' 'PAH'
Avi hit the back of their hands mercilessly before they could even reach the plates.
"Ouch!", they both yelled.
"Thank you, Penny and Yes you have Timmy, severally", Avi said replying to both their remarks.
"Now, go wash your hands!", she continued. Just then Cy walked out of the kitchen. "Look at Cy, he's washed his hands twice this evening and still he washed it again just now but you, you won't even clean yourselves properly before you eat! Now, Get up and go wash those hands!"
"Yes mum", Timmy replied sarcastically before heading to the kitchen while Penny glanced at Cy before going after Timmy.
When Cy had another eye contact with Penny and almost hit his foot on the chair that was right in front of him, Avi chuckled earning Cy's glare.
"So, 'Penny's older brother', why have you been stuttering and stumbling a lot lately, especially when Penny's around you?", Avi asked rather sarcastically while making air quotes with her fingers when she said 'older brother'.
"I don't know what you are talking about", Cy said before looking elsewhere guiltily. 
"Oh, I just thought that since you take Penny as your 'younger sister' you'd be more 'comfortable' around her", Avi replied, still making air quotes. She still remembered how Cy lashed out at her when she asked him this question a year ago, not believing his sermon about how much he cares for her as an older brother, she began to observe him where she realized that his words and his actions were totally different. An example is what happened earlier that day, who'd blush when making eye contact with their 'younger sister'?, so she decided to tease him a bit.
"Avika Iris Dawson!, you....", Cy who was about to bite back, kept quiet when Penny and Timmy returned and sat at the table. Glaring at Avi one last time who stuck her tongue out to him, he made his way to the chair beside Timmy and opposite Penny but Avi quickly and 'unintentionally' sat beside Timmy. "OMO, did you want to sit here?, I really didn't know but you could sit beside Penny though, you don't mind right?", Avi said cheekily.
"Yeah, come sit here Cy at least I can have some peace and quiet for once today." Penny said tapping the chair beside her before giving Avi an exasperated look. 
Cy:"....."
Hence, dinner began with Cy 'reluctantly' sitting beside Penny but his little cheeky smile didn't escape Avi's eagle eyes.

Honestly, don't expect me to constantly update this to often as it is a side project of mine. Suggestions are appreciated.

This is a fan-fiction of the middle school life of a boy named Marconi. Nothing special, no cultivation, just a regular school story with some cool fictional elements. How many references can you catch? I have approximately 30 within the first 12 chapters.

"You look beautiful" 

Father Ahmadi told Nayla with gentle caring voice and looked at Mother Ahmadi. 

 "You know she looks likes you when on our wedding day, I couldn't take my eyes off you" 

He looked at mother Ahmadi with a teasingly look. 

Mother Ahmadi smiled, she knows how happy father Ahmadi was after all their eldest daughter was their symbol of love and togetherness even though they had two sons before Nayla but this daughter was special to them, mother Ahmadi even gave her a middle name in the name of love towards her husband. "Aruba" which means "Loves her husband" in the ancient sacred language Arabic. 

"Let's not delay the wedding, My dear Aruba is very eager to meet her husband to be." Mother Ahmadi said mirthfully. 

Nayla bowed her head bashfully when her mother was teasing. What could she say yes, nah so embarrassing? (〃艸〃)

But before they could go out, the siblings barged into the room and started making noises, it became a very lively environment removing the awkward situation Nayla was in.  

"You look, beautiful sis, like a fairy out of this world" with sparkling eyes Naziha looked her beautiful elder sister, 

A cute 16-year girl came into the room, she looked adorable, that was Nayla's younger sister Naziha, the youngest and most adorable one in the family. 

As result, she was the most lively one too. Despite having a completely different personality the two sisters got along really well.


"Well, of course, she looks beautiful because she is my sister, with my handsomeness, how can my sister not look beautiful!" Amir said, Nayla's second brother, with a smug on his face.

 But in return, Adil smacked his head, with no change in his expression " She is beautiful because she is my sister" Adil, Nayla's eldest brother, claimed without a bit of shame. 

Nayla looked at her family with emotions arousing deep within her, she will miss them. This was her family, but it was so hard to express those emotions.

 She will eternally be grateful to God for giving her such a wonderful family. 

"Hey, let's take pictures, this is my new model, the newest Aruba technologies invention, it's so good." Naziha excitedly got her beautiful device out.

 The brothers looked at Nayla with a knowing look when Naziha mentioned about the device. without any delay, they started to take pictures. 

But siblings will always be siblings so they started to argue about which angle Nayla looked more beautiful. 


Mother Ahmadi started laughing whiling looking at her children's antics.

She looked at husband with pride, their families biggest treasure was togetherness and all her children represent that. 

Even though Nayla and Amir were less lively than the other two children of hers but each of her children loved each deeply, their deep emotions and connections kept them together.  

They couldn't daily the wedding so Nayla and family started to proceed towards the wedding hall. 

When they were walking towards the wedding hall, all the guests and cousins looked at the breathtaking bride, no one could take their eyes off her. 

As the holographic flower; white, red all sorts of rose petals fall in alley welcoming the bride, it made Nayla look enchanting, it attracted many attentions. 

The holographic invention was one of the advancements in technologies as people started to look after nature, they found ways to keep wildlife and nature safe so the earth could be a safe place to live in as the world has changed so much over the centuries.  

Nayla approached the designated area for the bride and grom. 

Some couldn't keep themselves quite and started discussing.  

"Oh my the eldest daughter is so pretty"

"Maybe they kept her hidden for so long as she is too pretty, someone will take her without their knowledge."

 "The Al Abd Qadir family are quite lucky to take a beauty home" 

"Hahaha but the genes of the Ahmadi family is terrific,  all of the Ahmadi kids a charming and beautiful with an extremely bright future"


Everyone watched the bride walk the alleyway with her family, they felt happy for her even though she wasn't their daughter, the looked at her emotionally as if their daughter was getting married.

I and Noah were reunited in Miami. Since then, he asked me to move back to Los Angeles. At first I disagreed, but then Lily brain –washed me.

So far my life is great here in Los Angeles, even though the media is busy with the news but Noah covers me up. I still refuse to attend any talk –shows, maybe one day I should.

One Day in California is my first work, I want to apologize if there's any weak language you might hard to understand.

Here are the specific descriptions of the character.

Steffi : Steffi was born in Indonesia, her sisters too. Steffi has a pair of monolid dark brown eyes, a button nose, a thin lips and yellow skin. She has a long black hair, but then she cut them short during her vacation, grew her hair back until the last chapter. 

Rony : is a tall and handsome Indonesian, he has a fair skin, a pointed nose and a pair of big eyes. He is wearing glasses anyway, mostly appeared in tidy shirt and pants. 

Lily : a cute woman, she has a pair of thick eyebrows and eyelashes, a pair of beautiful eyes. She is very cheerful and energic.

Noah : of course Noah is 8 cm taller than Rony, Noah was born in Italy, he is half Italian anyway. He has a curly dark –brown hair, thick eyelashes and eyebrows, a pair of hazel eyes, and a pointed nose. He is about 185 cm tall. 

Cara : is a half African –American, she is pretty tall like about 175 cm. She has curly black hair, pointed nose, a pair of beautiful eyes and sexy lips. She is hot in lipsticks. Hehe. But she is not that feminine, so she hates lipstick.

Jane : is a petite woman with red hair. She is very beautiful and damn good in singing.  

James : a Swedish born. James is very tall, like about 188 cm, he has golden hair and a pair of beautiful eyes too. 

Cindy and Clara : they are identical twins, Cindy has a tiny mole on her nose and Clara doesn't. They are the queen bees during their High School. 

This story is inspired by marriage of Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso.

Jack POV

"The meadow was enameled with sodden dew as the Gaillardias rustled gently in the breeze. A narrow pellucid brook flowed calmly adjacently to the Gaillardias while the crusty trout swam swiftly in it. Tall lilac plant swayed flexibly as I ran pass through them, the air felt exuberating as I circled the huge green meadow. This feeling was just liberating and peaceful that I hoped it would be the only thing which would stay with me forever. I was too engrossed in those beauties of the nature that I completely ignored my dad.

My dad looked peaceful sitting on the mat that he laid beneath the large oak tree, Peanut butter sandwich, cookies, cakes and orange juice scattered in front of him, it was an alluring scenario. My dad was totally engrossed in one of his books on organic chemistry that he failed to feel the soft tab on his shoulder. I was envious to the book for grabbing all the attention to itself and not leaving an ounce for me.  I quickly snatched away the book from his grip and put out my tongue and ran around the tree playfully. 

My dad gave a hearty laugh as he pretended to be tried of chasing me; those were the best days of my youth. He faked being in pain as he pretended to hold his chest and breathe deeply as he rested his head on the soft grass and closed his eyes. I was too young to notice his fake acting that at that time I really thought he was hurt. I ran fast towards him praying that nothing would happen to him, I slowly nudged his shirt but he was motionless until he surprised me by tickling my stomach. I couldn't hold the tickling as I laughed my guts out shouting for him to stop, I begged him between my laughter and admitted my lost until he stopped and held me on his lap. I was really curious to know what made the book so interesting that held his face glued to it for most of the day, he smiled and showed me a page about the reaction and it was that time I became aware of this trick,"

Sam focused on the road so to prevent any accident to happen and as of me I gazed outside wondering about all things that has been happening around lately. I knew Sam wanted to ask him everything especially about those magical things that happened and I respect his curiosity too but I couldn't bring myself to pour everything about the events to him.  I was also ignorant about the trick and I thought that dot painting was useless until those dim lights from the lamp enlightened my brain and made me realize everything. The most alluring thing about this trick was the tracing in the painting and I must say it was really opulent. After tons of thoughts and consideration on the painting, it finally led us to this museum.

The museum was indeed spacious and spectacular, everything was luxurious and majestic. And all those gossip about the grand museum was indeed true. Even though we were aware that the museum will be closed for the day and it would be illegal to trespass after working hour, still then we climbed over the high wall and entered through the back door.

Sam instructed me to go towards the right wing and like an obedient child I agreed to his command considering how capable he is judging from the knowledge of being with him for the pass 3 days. I was off to the right wing admiring everything, those painting were just amazing as it transcendently adorned the wall and brought the exhibiting vibe around this place. I scanned every painting on my way and observed them swiftly without wasting much of the time. 

I was walking right at the corner of a painting when I saw monumental object right in front of me. I was fascinated and amazed that I found myself admiring its beguiling structure and artistic form that I someone forgot to inform Sam about it. I quickly regained my mind and contacted him through the walkie talkie. The painting was massive as it hung majestically from the wall and the color in the painting perfectly complemented each other that it was a wonder how the painter was able to make it come alive.

The painting was looked pretty large and amazing, but the cream of that painting was the name "Ophelia," clearly written beneath it. This name made me flashback to that day when Mrs. Patterson sheltered me when I was badly bruised. And I could clearly remember that the painting in her house that hung right at the corner of her stair was indeed of Ophelia. Not only that my dad had this painting of Hamlet and embracing Ophelia which could mean something. At one point I thought this girl in the painting could be Ophelia but when I clearly accessed the painting the girl looked more seductive and it contradicted to the pure and calm Ophelia of Hamlet. It was suspicious and mysterious.

A quote stood right beneath the name and this added more mystery to the painting. I recited the quote for the hundred times in mind until I remembered that particular phrases I read in the book Hamlet, " A ministering angel shall my sister be," it was that exact  phrase in the play when Laertes said to himself remembering his sister Ophelia, which actually meant that he would serve and love his sister under any circumstances. 

I was considering every possible connection that the painting and its quotes could have with the kidnapping but to my disappointment nothing weave together to give me a perfect picture. I tried really hard to flashback to that time when I discovered the mysterious key, I still remember finding the portrait and the key beneath it but there was nothing much skeptical. 

I focused again and recreated my dad study room in mind and to my astonishment there was indeed some vague image projected in my mind about this quote and from what I feel, I think I saw it written in a small font and placed securely in that shelf near the portrait. It was indeed amazing how our sub conscious mind could render help when in need. But one thing really didn't patch up with any information I could think of because it felt too unnatural to find the quotes and portrait in my dad's room unless they already knew before and faked my adoption story.

Sam seemed to always remind me how his aunt loved painting and what most astonishing was that her name was Ophelia too so those information really felt like those puzzle which took time to create but once you get the hold of it, it connected automatically. So from what I concluded Ophelia was indeed my mother and after her disappearance I might have been adopted. But one thing was sure that this painting before me was indeed her work.

One might not feel the pain and hurt hidden beneath me and I won't blame anyone for not understanding me. Remembering those thunderous nights when I craved for warm embrace that would protect me from those scary sound and those times when I saw children's walking with their parents in the park, it made me miss my biological parents more. I would cry silently and pray for their return, not only that I would swear to god that if they came back to me I would learn to be a better boy. Without anyone to support you while growing, I was emotionally and physically drained until adoptive parents came for the rescue. Even though I was showered with love and care there was still some void that needed the presence of my biological mother to fill it.

I have battled myself for a long time and persuaded myself to believe that I needed no one to survive and it was until now I find information about her, she caused havoc within me. And mostly importantly my adoptive dad had more to say something on this story but to my unfortunate they were no more. To add more salt to my wound my mom was already dead and this painting was the only proof of her existence. Sam softly patted on my shoulder and I was really grateful for the mere kind action.

I held the miniature painting and slowly placed in the right hand of the girl and the painting started to drift slowly to reveal a safe behind it. The safe was small and it was finger print password protected. We thought we escaped an obstacle yet we were faced with another. It was quite worrying to be exact because we felt that we were nearing to our goal but we were once again to square one. I was not sure what happened to me but something inside urged me to place my finger on that safe and to our surprise the safe opened.

I was stupefied for a while trying to gauged everything in front me. For all my life I lived believing that they have forgotten me and will never come back for me. I have learnt to move one and forget them but it was my lack of trust and foolishness which underestimated their love for me. They still remembered me and not only that I was the key to everything they were trying to hide. My parents really loved me and I was a coward for not trusting them. Even though Sam gave me that will letter, that stated I might be the potential heir of his empire but I doubted there love for me and I was too wrong misjudge them for they loved me dearly. 

This realization hit me too hard that I found myself bathing in tears, I just couldn't stop it. I thought they hated me for leaving me there all alone in that lone orphanage and I believed their promise to come back was just a mere façade but it was not. Their love was genuine and it was warming everything inside me. They had always been looking after me and it was just me blaming them without any hesitance. I cried aloud when Sam stopped me and I knew I had someone alive and important to protect.

 I had made mistakes and this mistake has cost me all my happiness during my prime age. I knew my parents wanted best of me that they gave everything to me and I really had to do something to prove their trust. I calmed myself and took out the small diary from the safe and exited the museum with a content expression.

"Even before I could go near him, I felt his hand on my waist. His skin was as cold as ice and it sent shiver down my spine. There was hint of admiration and love in his eyes and it really confused me. I felt that he liked me but that thought was totally absurd. His pinkish lips raised, it made my legs give away. I felt his hand tighten around my waist and slowly engulfing me in a tight hug."

Well we unanimously agreed to just sit here taking turns watching the main character while the other practices magic. We didn't particularly need to eat or drink but we would of course grow bored and feel like eating as we lived 21 years as a average human, we being invisible could have just stolen everything but since we got the ability to generate local currency we left money for everything. As for our abilities we kinda figured out them from Allen's 'Cross Grave' to Tier's 'Ola Azul' but pretty sure we scared the crap out of the Watch when they heard explosions and falling trees in the middle of the night.We actually started to grow pretty bored just watching people and we felt if we went deep into the forest to mess with the titans it would mess with the story but we were REALLY bored and realized why people pick the 'mainstream' worlds so often. At first we thought of just going to another world but we spun this world so we will do something about it so the first step in out plan, make a magic to appear younger preferably around Eren's age so we could follow him around as we weren't particularly caring what we did and main characters did everything.

So when we successfully figured out how to both appear younger and be visible we started with hanging out around Mikasa. Her being the very quiet girl she was didn't particularly care what we did as long as we weren't after her Eren, and Eren being Eren thought we were related at first what with not talking, following him around,and just being kind of creepy. The only particular problems we had was people not knowing where we were from or who we were, we actually got the guards called on us at first as apparently the village was a closed community of sorts with everyone knowing each other so a pair of tan mysterious children just appearing following around Mikasa raised questions i guess, but after we kept vanishing before anyone could catch us people just started ignoring us like they gave up. Armin(he told us his name) treated us like more Mikasa, but honestly we had no problem with that as we weren't that communicative. We did get to meet Eren's mother at several instances, she seemed like a reasonably nice person so we figured we would save her but then we thought about what would happen to Eren if she didn't die,soo we instead decided to just ask her when the time came as i mean we couldn't miss the wall falling so we could just go ask her if she was okay with dying if in exchange Mikasa marries Eren(probably) and Eren becomes a decorated hero or if she would rather live....when we thought of that question we felt it was a leading question but at the same time it wasn't wrong and we weren't sure what to do.

We did get asked were we lived by Eren and Armin a few times but we always said it was a secret and bought everyone apples or nuts or what they wanted at the time. And at last the Titan came and while we always thought the Armored Titan was the coolest looking we admitted to each other that size did in fact matter and he jumped up to our second favorite titan as there is just something about overwhelming size that is awesome. But upon seeing bolts of lightning in the middle of the day and lots of steam we immediately headed for Eren's house.Upon arriving at the house she seemed actually pretty calm as if she already knew what was going to happen.

"Oh,Tier and Allen what brings you here" she asked with a smile.We reverted to out adult form getting a start out of her while we did so"Ms.Carla Yeager we would ask you of your choice, would you give up your life if it would lead your son to greatness, or would you live and escape your fate?"we asked in unison as we felt it was cooler when asked in unison."I uhh don't know whats going on but could you elaborate?"she asked."Fate would have you die today eaten by a titan before your child's eyes, a result of this is that your child develops an overwhelming anger towards titans, joins the scout corp and through several twists becomes a hero, conversely if you wished we could save you but Eren wouldn't have his overwhelming anger toward titans and may not have the drive and fury necessary to achieve what he would should Fate have it's way,so we ask again will you die for your child or will you live and if you wished push him to the same or greater heights?"we asked."I can push him to such heights?"she asked."Maybe, despite being a hero he stopped being completely sane as a result of today, one of our favorite quotes about your son in the future was 'I bore witness to the manifestation of humanity's rage' and that was about all he sought to embody, he did not grow much from today his mind just stayed trapped in it's fury and he didn't seek to escape it" we said."If i live and he doesn't become the hero he was meant to be what happens?"she asked."Wall Maria stays taken and the other walls fall in a few years,but we feel that if you had lived Eren could have been so much more than just a warrior, he could have been a leader, he showed through his actions courage,valor,sacrifice and more but in the end all he sought was to kill all the titans and if not for Mikasa and the friends he made on the way he probably would have stayed outside the walls killing every titan he came across till he fell"we answered her

"So Ms.Carla Yeager what path will you choose one with a certain outcome or one that appears rough with no light visible at the end of the path?"

I dreamed of reincarnations, transmigration, other-world summoning, and dimensional travel for years and one day while sitting in my room at home i heard a voice that asked me "Child, do you wish to pursue your dreams?" and my only thought at the time was "i am either finally going crazy or some greater being has heard my plea" and so i said yes! believing that if it was real i would achieve happiness and if wrong nothing wold change.....I won that bet

The world had continued to revolve while I was having my "vacation" at the elemental battlefield.
The battle against the undead in inland Eich had mysteriously slowed down. Although the Undead Calamity still continued, they had greatly slowed down the amount of their attacks. Rumors even started spreading that there was internal discord within the undead army.
The revived Ogre Empire[1] had also kept strangely silent after they shattered the Holy Church's defense lines. The Ogre Empire hadn't invaded the humans with all they had as was expected, which was somewhat confusing.
For this moment, the wars going on in Eich achieved a temporary balance. The Gods high up were paying attention, and the mortals of Eich were waiting. Everyone wanted to see which species would upset the fragile balance first and attack the humans.
Being the first to attack didn't mean that you would gain the most. It was far more likely that the first to attack would receive the most powerful counterattack and suffer the most. Even though the wars on the land had achieved a relative balance for now, everyone knew that such days wouldn't last for long… It was destined that there would eventually only be one ruling species in this world.
Meanwhile, in the distant Northlands, the stormy situation remained unclear. The aftermath of the assassination attempts against Roland and Elven Empress Harloys was still ongoing, and the furious Mist Kingdom's and Elven Empire's allied armies demanded justice from the moon elves. In front of overwhelming military pressure, the moon elf kingdoms sunk into utter chaos, blaming each other and trying to find the "culprit", wasting the little time they had left.
When the Mist Alliance armies entered the moon elves' cities, the Mist Alliance didn't show magnanimity like before. It was rather the opposite. Several hundred moon elf nobles were hanged on their own city walls every day. At first, signs would be put on the dead moon elves' necks, saying "traitor", "betrayal", and so on, but a few days later, even such signs were no longer made. Every day, rows upon rows of moon elf nobles were hanged on the moon elves' very own city walls.
All moon elf government officials and organizations loyal to the previous generation moon elf kingdom were eliminated from the very roots. All old nobles were completely cleansed. In the future Elven Empire ruled by only one Elven Empress, such moon elves with special authority weren't necessary existences.
And in the south, the Northern Divine Battlefront Alliance was tightening its grip on the Mist Alliance's southern border even further.

I could only helplessly shake my head. If I had a choice, I really would be willing to let bygones be bygones and truly work together with the Holy Church. This was because the future would only become harsher and harsher. But even though this was the truth, it was likely that nobody would believe me if I said it.

Not only would the Mist Alliance have to modify all of its border defense plans to incorporate the two new member countries' borders, which would be a heavy responsibility, it was also likely that there would be quite a few kings in the south of the Northlands who had trouble sleeping at night due to being on the border with the members of the "Northern Divine Battlefront Alliance".
This would be the equivalent of having a tiger sleeping in your bed next to you. Even if the tiger told you that he wasn't a carnivore, would you believe him? At that time, the Holy Church could easily spread some propaganda and transform the Northern Divine Battlefront Alliance into the Anti-Mist Alliance Alliance.

This was obviously an unreliable agreement. However, this contract was something that both sides were really happy with. The Soen Dukedom and Feldis Kingdom could retain their independence, and if the Holy Church pressured them too much, they could ask for help from us.
In fact, the Soen Dukedom and Feldis Kingdom were even welcome to join and become member countries of the "Northern Divine Battlefront Alliance". Of course, without any other restrictions, both alliances would be in effect simultaneously. Even though the Holy Church would have achieved a "blockade" against us, there would still be an opening for the Mist Alliance, making the blockade meaningless.
And if the Northern Divine Battlefront Alliance tried to force the Soen Dukedom and Feldis Kingdom to truly blockade us, the Mist Alliance would definitely send military reinforcements. Who was in the right or wrong then would be obvious for all to see.
Was such an alliance—with them being "candidates" to join our alliance—a reliable alliance? Not at all, but shared mutual benefits would make this alliance incredibly effective. The two member countries needed their independence as well as a bigger faction to support them, while the Mist Alliance needed a supply line in the south.
The political alliances in this world were still at the level of my original world's Middle Ages. Things were quite direct here. Either an alliance would work, or it wouldn't. However, strange alliances that were incredibly solid due to shared benefits was an idea I had obtained from examples in my original world.
Of course, while ideas were wonderful, there would always be all sorts of unexpected things in reality.
The political situation in the Feldis Kingdom had recently become unstable. The loyal believers of the Holy Church were beginning to host private gatherings, while the domain lords who worshipped the Holy Light were beginning to accuse the Feldis royalty of improper governmental management…

The royalty will definitely meet with unexpected incidents and all die, while the citizens will encourage a domain lord affiliated with the Holy Church to declare himself king, and then the whole country begins to convert to worshiping the Holy Church. I did my very best to recall Estrada's words, but could only remember the embarrassing fact that I was always slacking off during class while he was teaching me. So, I could only helplessly begin to make up quotes on Estrada's behalf.
