Next day morning...

The trio met Mahavar at a pine forest some 5 kms away from their tea garden. The forest had a canopy so thick the ambience appeared dark and mysterious. Fog and clouds melt together as they wove unrestrained around the pine thicket. 

Emon marvelled at the cold beauty laid before her eyes. The chilly winds blew out her tresses and she could literally feel her teeth chattering!

Cold!!!!

Mahir looked at her gazing at the tall forest and for a moment his eyes softened. She had never stepped out of her neighbourhood. It wasn't pity he felt, rather he empathised with her. He was an orphan too, true he hadn't had a rich life but he loathed his fate... A fate which was short of humanity... The owner of a cold and dead heart...

Mahavar watched Mahir's face light up a little and go back to its cold demeanor. He really wished this guy to find warmth that he had lost since his parents died.

Ashm roamed around the place for a while. He was a nature lover and was ecstatic when he discovered that this was where they would be training! A smile bloomed on his face as he eagerly took in everything.

"All right kids, gather up"

Mahavar's tone turned serious as he started explaining their first training lesson.

Emon hoped that she would somehow play a part in this lesson since she came together, but Mahavar's plan left her out entirely.

He went on explaining the strategems to be used in the ploy that he had hatched. A ploy was actually a situation or rather a plan which included both scopes of attack or defense. A good ploy will have both of these as well as a layered set of semi plan. 

The semi plan will start working once the Enamour user triggers the attack or defense mode. But the surprise lied in the fact that neither the attacker nor the defender knew which one activated the layered semi plan.

He activated a shade of Lilac and encircled the area, Ashm flared up Chetwode and sped towards Mahavar. 

Although to a regular user it would seem that Lilac was safeguarding the zone but the real motive was just the opposite. Lilac was an ampliflier shade which bounced back any attack. This was not common knowledge and only experienced users could know this.

Emon was amazed how quickly Ashm grasped the true intention of the ploy but as soon as Ashm neared the encirclement wall, something unexpected happened. Shards of Crimson started raining on him!

What!!

How can Lilac attack with Crimson!!!

He immediately blocked using his Chetwode which could null any attack, but the instant he did that, his colour backfired. Crimson shards changed to Chetwode was about stab him when Mahir broke the encirclement.

No! Emon cried! Breaking the encirclement was a trap!

Mahir was instantly thrown 100 meters back. Powerful as it was, Mahir felt his shade wisp out.

Just how dangerous could this shade be?

Mahavar rearranged Lilac as it released a massive power while appearing to be breaking, but right then it went back to encircling. 

Mahir stood up wobbling on his feet. Revising his strategy he observed the shades for a while. Any colour that touches Lilac would backfire! That's why Ashm had activated Chetwode. But the latter had in turn activated the semi plan... Crimson. It was a moot point whichever colour you choose, all of them would be used on you...

Ashm had been pinned to the ground with the Crimson shards. Mahavar had improvised the shards to powerful pressure pellets rather than sharpened knives so as not to injure Ashm seriously. However pressure pellets could be fatal too if not broken. Emon could see Ashm was turning blue where the pellets touched him.

It was a dead end!

After dinner, Hu Yifei went back to the Ministry of Network Security, and when he continued to pour out those IP, he hung the 1IP there to continue to scan, and now he should have the results.

One of the boys came forward to talk with a vegetable shop in the market; he bargained the price for coconuts and finally agreed to sell them all at 150 rupees. After collecting the money from the vegetable shop owner they headed straight to the toy shop and purchased a cricket bat and ball for 120 rupees....with the other 30 rupees they all ate doodh peda. 
They were happy after all their plan was a success.....now they knew, exactly how to spend their summer time...….every morning they would have their breakfast and carried lunch boxes …..To the vast plain hills of Gujj with their livestock.....they always had to travel long distances in summer for grazing their animals as water and food was very scarce in summer. They would have left their livestock in the hills and would play cricket below the hills...….


It was a happy day....they were playing cricket below the hills as the time went past 6 pm. They realized they had to take their cattle back to the village, they ran fast towards the hills...….to see their cattle already heading home.....they ran to catch up with their livestock and reached just in time to raise no doubts of what they were doing below the hills.

They all met again the following night at 10 pm. They slowly started walking towards the coconut gardens...….the village head also headed towards coconut gardens to clean his bowel...he came to see the boys moving ahead of him towards his gardens.....he forgot about nature`s call and slowly followed the boys without their knowledge...

"I should teach these boys a lesson," he said to himself.....he covered himself in the black blanket he brought with him behind the bush, as the boys started to slowly climb up the coconut tree...…..The village head, started making evil noises from the bush...….the boys were terrified of what they were listening to....they slowly crawled together into a group holding each other...All of a sudden the village head jumped on them...screaming as a ghost...…..this terrified the boys, and they started running in all the directions.....one of them fell flat peeing his pants, in fear...…the village head slowly crawled back behind the bush...the boy stood up and started running as he cried and screamed for help.
By the time the last boy reached his village, the village had woke up.....they took all the boys into a group, and asked of what happened...….The boys explained they saw a ghost by shivering in fear...…..with later investigations....the villagers came to know about what the boys had done on the night....
It took three weeks for all the boys to return to their normal states...from fever and fear...…..they never dared to go in the dark again...…..The village head would smile in his head, as he looked at any of the boys from that day on...

Beautiful True Stories I witnessed as part of growing up in a remote village.

Nathan sat at the back, listening intently as the story started to wrap up, the work getting assigned as Nathan felt pain hitting him in waves as he remembered the man, in particular, his mind flashing back to the day that it all happened.

In the year 248, standing over his body as he looked up at him with a smirk that showed his pride in the lifetime of work he had put into creating the floating island that would never fail or fall from the sky.

Nathan had spent many minutes trying to figure out what the point was. It was clear that this near hundred year and many resources used to make it work was almost wasted compared to the ten minutes of work he could do to produce the same effect if not better.

"You wasted your life. What did you plan to gain from this?"

Nathan asked such a question back in the day, his mind now racing as he felt the guild crawling down his back as he knew something different now.

"Wasted? One day a mortal will climb higher than me. We will reach the throne of the gods and take it for ourselves. Just wait for it, Creator God."

Standing up from the classroom, Nathan moved out into the halls before heading outside to get some fresh air. His words back then filled with such malicious and hate as he had done and said some cruel things.

He thought everything was just a game; he could control everything and change anything he wanted. Merely tearing out parts he disliked or wiping out races he did not wish to live. He tried to throw up at this point but nothing came, he no longer could throw up at this point.

When had the world stopped being a video game and became an actual living world of people who thought, lived and loved? How many lives had he ruined by existing and how many lives had he ruined by setting up the downfall of the gods.

He could never answer those questions at this point, everything had already happened, and nothing would ever change that fact at this point. His vision for vengeance was clouding everything as he was so blind he forgot to look at those closest to him.

"Is this the reason you brought me here. To show me the errors of my way. To show how much of a terrible person I am."

He stood next to the wall, pressing his head against the cold stonework as he wanted to scream his frustrations out at the top of his lungs. These memories of the past were causing so much confliction as he never thought about the history before in this way.

Letting out a small laugh as his eyes closed, turning around to press his back against the stonewall before sliding down as his backside touched the sandy floor before he looked out into the courtyard.

A few kind words placed helped more than any long-winded conversation in most instances as Nathan smiled ever so brightly before standing up.

"I'm fine Sevil. That was a fantastic history lesson. You are an excellent teacher and a rather amazing person. I still stand by what I said before about going to our town. Though the workload may increase!"

Nathan began to laugh again as he pushed all the previous thoughts to the back of his mind as he just looked to the man with a gentle glee in his eyes. It was clear to Sevil that this man looked the best when laughing.

"Well, it's getting rather late. Maybe I can interest you in some dinnertime stew. Our chef has managed to find a reasonable and cheap selection of meat, and we are cooking up some vegetable stew to mix with it."

Nathan felt warm, this feeling close to what he enjoyed as this man had a heart of gold. How could he refuse such a person?

"Such an invitation. How can I refuse though I must insist on paying you back someday since generosity can only be repaid in kind."

Sevil was coming up to the young man with his hand touching his shoulder as his smile grew. "Let's head in then. The children are already starting the meal. If you want any of the meat we best hurry!"

As both men started to walk back towards the dorms, smiling as the mood was light and cheerful. The hooves of a panicking centaur came out, tears and fear streaming down her face.

"Sevil! Oh please come quick!"

Her voice shrill as she looked pale and in desperate need. It seemed like she had seen a ghost with the paleness of her skin.

"Dear what is wrong?"

Sevil rushed forward as he grabbed his wifes hand, his concern growing as he looked her in the eyes. 

"What has happened?"

Her eyes were leaking as she held onto the man she loved, her voice choking as she could no longer get the words out.

"They are dead..."

Then Fang Ning reached out and gestured to everyone to be quiet, and then slowly said: "It is rare that the teachers are so active. This is not a defense. This seat can be used for 24 hours. Everyone will make a unified class according to their own schedule and their specialties. Plan, take turns to take classes for this seat."

It would certainly be difficult for one to cover all of them, I will discuss this immediately with everyone and come up with a lesson plan as soon as possible so that the Venerable One may be able to fully master this subject and reach the level of practical application in the shortest time possible.
"That would be very good, I shall leave it to you then, Director Zhang, just let Xue Ba know if you need anything." Fang Ning instructed.

Two days later, Fang Ning re-entered the classroom.
After finishing only one lecture, however, he realized that this would not do at all.
"It's too easy. The moment I hear these lecturers' lessons, I can understand everything at once, the learning efficiency is too low." Fang Ning immediately shook his head.
After class, he went up to Director Zhang from the first lecture and said, "It seems that the method of conduct for the lessons are still a little too slow, I think it would be better if the Director could come up with a study plan for me, along with the relevant texts; it would be even better if you could also include those years worth of lecture notes of yours, so that I can absorb the information even faster."
Director Zhang was startled by his words, earlier during class, he had already factored in the fact that Cultivators had high learning abilities and had deliberately prepared his lecture content to be a five-times concentrated version of a regular lecture, yet it still was not enough to meet the other's expectations?

Director Zhang forcibly pushed those emotions away, smiled and said, "If the Venerable One wishes to study by himself, then very well, I shall discuss this with the others and contact our some of our previous students to gather their thoughts and knowledge gains over the past years, and hand it over to you after sorting them out."
"Very well then, I'll leave it to you, Professor Zhang." Fang Ning said, his tone sincere.
Seeing Fang Ning's response, Director Zhang felt some ease in his heart, in any case, for him to be able to latch onto this powerhouse, he would always be ahead of his fellow peers.
That said, it may be time for him to consider changing jobs.
Fang Ning gave him a few more words and gave the other a way of contacting him before he left the Scientific Academy for Vitality; leaving his body to Sir System as he waited for the other party to deliver him the subjects for self-study.

"Nonsense, of course he can, once I learn something, my lovely learns something as well. Even though he was created by you, green is born of blue, but is better than blue[1], that is the advantage of evolution." Fang Ning gloated.
"Humph, since you like him so much, why didn't you agree last time when I broke down and told you to create a new sub-system?"
"Oh, this and that are not the same thing, I'm not someone who would abandon the old for the new." Fang Ning said earnestly.
"...Now that's something I like to hear." Sir System said approvingly.
As they were talking, an email notification prompt popped up on the computer. 
Fang Ning opened the mailbox, after taking a look, it turned out to be a reading list sent by Director Zhang.
The other party was incredibly proactive and efficient, it had not even been an hour since he left the academy.
Fang Ning briefly scanned through the list, which had a total of over hundreds of books, all respectively appended with links that led him directly to a professional online library where he could read them, how very convenient. 
There were even some explanations noted further down.
"Venerable One, please read through these basics books first, after that I will design a specialized study plan according to your knowledge to ensure that you will be able to master the entire Modern Biology System and understand its current research directions as soon as possible."
"This person's not bad." Fang Ning said, gruntled.
"Humph, it's only because he thinks you have value, if you were someone useless, he definitely wouldn't have bothered at all." Sir System said disdainfully.
Fang Ning was at a lost for words, "This is perfectly normal, alright? If you're useless you have to improve yourself, you can't still expect others to think highly of you."
"Huh, how optimistic of you, then why didn't you come to this realization back when you were wasting away?" Sir System purposely dug up Fang Ning's unsavory past.
"Oi...Get outta here, stop picking on me, there was a reason for why I was such a deadbeat back then." Fang Ning said as he fell into deep thought, with a vacant look on his face.
"Uh, you're not looking very well there, do you want me to take a look at you?" Sir System offered kindly.
"Thanks, but no thanks." Fang Ning pulled himself back from his thoughts, and started digging seriously into his first book, Introduction to Modern Biology.

"Big brother! This is so boring why does i have to learn how to read and write? How will it help me in becoming a kickass shinobi? Why can't i read those books on Chakra, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Fuinjutsu, etc? Those books looks a lot more helpful in making me a kickass shinobi than these boring tasks, aren't they, Big bro? So please let me see them".....said Naruto using puppy dog eye jutsu.
"Huh! Naruto, if you don't learn how to read and write, then you will not be able to read these books which means no kickass jutsu..now return to the task".....i explained to him.
"So once i learn to read and write properly, you will let me have those books?" asked Naruto.
"Yes! little bro!"...i answered and returned to my studies.

SOMETIME LATER...                               ORPHANAGE
"Hey big bro! Why does i can't tell Biwako obasan how kickass ninja we are and the location of our secret hideout?"....asked Naruto.
I sighed and asked "Tell me! little bro why does the evil magican lost to the hero in the story that i told u the other day?"
"Well because the hero was kickass!..hehe!".... said Naruto
"Narutooo....!"... i scolded.

"Ok! Ok! big bro! don't be angry, the evil magican lost because the hero found out his secret"...replied Naruto.
"Exactly! If everybody found out our secrets then...".....i trailed off.
"Ohh! i never thought like that big bro, i will not tell anybody about our secrets ever".... replied Naruto.

Soon, once Naruto learns reading and writing, which will not be so difficult because I made him use shadow clones, we will start learning the theoretical knowledge behind the Shinobi arts and history, geography, literature,etc of this world from the books i have gained.
You were probably wondering how did i got those books...Well the books on literature,maths, geography,history,etc i stole them from Konoha Public library. 
As for the books on shinobi arts.....
1.The Chakra and its Properties :- I stole it from a group of gennins when they were too exhausted and are not paying attention along with some other books.
2.Taijutsu:The youthful Art:-I got it from maito guy when he was distributing it through the village after somebody challenged him that he can't become a good writer(That somebody is you know who).
3.Genjutsu: Hallucinations:-It was written by previous Kurama Clan Head (which was a plus point ).I stole it from her bag when she was outside playing in recess hours in the Konoha Acdemy.
4.Fuinjutsu:The Holy Art:-This was a book i found in the abonded Uzumaki Noah Mask Temple.
5.Kenjutsu: The way of the Sword:-I Bought it from Higurashi weapons store using transformation jutsu.
6.Shurikenjutsu:The Deadly Precision:-I also bought it from Higurashi using the same method.

So i have started learning Taijutsu and Kenjutsu using the two fission clones, one for Taijutsu and the other for kenjutsu. The exercises described in those books are just the general katas to lay solid foundation in the said arts.
I haven't got any luck in finding a book describing specific Taijutsu styles like the strong fist of Gai or kenjutsu style like the Cresent moon dance used by konoha kenjutsu masters. So i am just learning simple katas.                                                            And my clones are learning the theoretical knowledge (10 shadow clones at a time).

Naruto too has mastered the Transformation, substitution and even the Body flicker jutsu, surprising me again, in which i have no luck at learning.
But thanks to him and his unpredictability, i managed to deduce the mechanism behind body flicker jutsu and learned it properly.....truly he is the most spectacular, unpredictable surprising ninja ever.
Currently, Naruto's chakra control is poor but it is to be expected since i have doing chakra control exercises and meditation for a very long time compared to him. 
But he is quickly improving it and well on his way in mastering the wall walking excercise due to the shadow clones's help.
Our training is coming along fine and i am satisfied with our progress.

The hyperactivity of Naruto has lessened a little these days since he began practicing meditation excercises.
Yesterday, he completed the wall walking excercise and has started bugging me to teach him the water walking excercise.
So i took him to the hidden river i found at outskirts of forest of death where he started training. 
Actually, it's not hidden, it's just nobody goes there due to it's close proximity to the forest of death so it a good place to learn water walking in secret.

The water of the river is crystal clear so it's a very good riverfront for fishing and fish is a good source of protein so i am a frequent visitor of this river for fishing. l have decided tomorrow, i am going to teach him the joy's of fishing and a lesson.

NEXT DAY....
It was so hilarious to watch Naruto try fishing. He kept his cool for quite some time, which in my eyes was a very major improvement considering how impatient he is.
As soon as the fishes came near his fishing hook, he quickly pulls it out and the fish slips from it, he kept trying and trying.....
During this he complained a lot about how the fishes are not fair with him or how my hook is better than his or how my fishing place has a lot more fishes than his.
So i exchanged the fishing rods, later our places but none worked for him.
As soon as i caught my third one, he snapped and jumped in the river screaming,"You stupid slippery fishes! come here i will show you who is the boss!" He lasted for one hour and thirty seven minutes.
"Naruto! Come out of the river....i will teach you how to do it"...i said.
"Really big bro!"....he inquired, since i didn't helped him during this at all.

I nodded and help him change his cloth. I brought the spares because i knew something like this will happen.
"Now listen! The reason i managed to caught three whereas you none is simple i have patience which you lack. Its the key factor in fishing. Now Let's go there"...i said.
I took him the other side of the river and started instructing him.

SOME TIME LATER...
"Wohoo! i caught one big bro! it's big"... said Naruto.
"Why did you managed to do it this time?"...i asked.
"Because i let the fish a chance to feed and i was patient unlike the other time"...said Naruto.
"Exactly! Remember Naruto patience is the key to success and a shinobi without patience is a dead Shinobi. This lesson is the real reason why I taught you fishing. Never forget it."...i said seriously.
He nodded and said," Yes bro!".
Then we roasted the fishes, ate them and we left the area using continuous body flicker jutsu and arrived at the temple. I felt a little weird and nauseous but Naruto looked fine.

Our situation at  the orphanage has degraded so i have decided to get rid of the orphanage and get us a home(apartment). Since i am sick of the unfair treatment , animosity and neglect that the matron shows us.
I am just waiting for the right time and i will put my plans to actions to get a apartment for ourselves.


2 YEARS AND 11 MONTHS OLD
In the past two months i have waited for that opportunity and it came, the hidden leaf village is in chaos since Orochimaru's treachery is discovered two weeks ago which means Danzo's assassination attempt on Third Hokage has failed. It also means currently Danzo will not oppose Hiruzen's Decision atleast for sometime so that he could be in his good graces again.
Thus its a perfect time to put the plan 'Bye Bye Orphanage' into action.
And without any opposition from Danzo i am sure it will succeed.

I woke up in another world......... With instructions of some jutsu which are the abilities of non-person( i.e.his chakra suppression technique ; chakra sensory perception; flying technique; dustless bewildering cover jutsu and body fission technique )........
and a troublesome ability to sense other uzumakis through the continent........ And that's how my story started.......

"Mage Felic, what do you mean?" Kayla's smile stiffened.
"Mage Kayla, please don't be mistaken. I don't have anything against you…" Lin Li replied with a sincere smile, but the words that came out of his mouth nearly caused Kayla to vomit blood. He continued humbly, "I only feel that such a simple and worn-out cave is not suitable for people with high status. I heard that there's this Undead Palace in the Shadowglen. Why don't you live there tonight? The time now is still early, so if you rush there now, maybe you can reach there by dinnertime…"
"…" Mason was listening by the side. He nearly choked on his saliva.
"Mage Felic, you must be joking…" Kayla let out a nervous laughter. The ends of his lips curved as though he had infantile paralysis.
"What?" Lin Li stared at him with a shocked expression, and continued, "Does Mage Kayla has such high expectations that he does not take any fancy to the palace? I've heard that a monarch of the undead lived there before though…"
"This fella, you are going overboard!" Before Kayla could react, the short mage beside him stood out and pointed a finger at Lin Li face. He came so close that he nearly poked him.
Lin Li looked at that short and thick finger, and vaguely recalled that this short mage was one of Kayla's followers, named Fedrick…
"You're Mage Fedrick, right? Could I trouble you to move your finger away by a teeny weeny bit?"
Instead of putting away his finger, Fedrick came closer to Lin Li, and while he scolded him harshly, his saliva landed on Lin Li's face.
"F*CK! You are just a level-seven mage, how could you be so cocky? If not for Mason, do you think Boss Kayla would waste his time here and listen to your crap? Scram when we ask you to, don't wait until—"
The moment the short mage spoke his first line, the cave was filled with tension. Embarrassment appeared on Kayla's face. He did not expect that a matter that would bring benefits to both parties would become so difficult…
But forget it… he would let Fedrick teach that impolite dude a lesson. 
And Mason was just stupefied at what he saw.
He was so amazed by Fedrick. What a talent…
To point a finger at Felic! Does he feel that his finger is too long…
Does he not know that he is standing before a monster?
At that moment, not just Mason, even Orrin looked at that short mage with pity…
"Let me repeat… Mage Fedrick, could I trouble you to move your finger away…" Lin Li requested calmly.
"You motherf— aaah!" Before the short mage could complete his sentence, he saw a ball of fire rising up. What was next was a hammering pain on his hand. Before he could understand what had happened, the finger he used to point at Lin Li was alight with fire…
"Moron," said Mason and Orrin in unison. 
Kayla was utterly stunned by what he saw. Never would he have expected that the level-seven mage could use a grade-two magic spell—the Instant Flaming Hands. Not to mention a level-seven mage, even if it were him, he might not succeed in casting the spell instantaneously every single time…
At that point of time, Kayla didn't know if he should cry or laugh.
His plan was that after Fedrick punished that cocky fella, he would step forward to mediate, and guilt-trip Mason with their relationship. After all, how could a mere level-seven mage create much commotion in the Shadowglen? At that time, not only would those insensible people volunteer to move out themselves, that dude would not even dare to reject their request of him leaving that cave…
But he only guessed the ending right.
Someone was indeed punished, but the man was Fedrick…
"AH!" Fedrick shrieked in pain again suddenly. That sound brought Kayla back to the present. Then, he started to recite a spell before his magical staff produced liquid for him to extinguish the fire on Fedrick's finger.
"To be honest, I couldn't believe it…" Lin Li grinned as he waved the smoke off his hand before bending down to look at the short mage.
Fedrick's nearly entire arm caught fire, and the cold water from Kayla aggravated his pain. A series of ear-piercing cries continued; how would Kayla have the time to react to Lin Li's gibe? Furthermore, he would not have the courage to speak against him. What if he were to lose his life due to that? 
"Ooops, sorry, I guess I've exerted too much force." After giving Fedrick a scare, Lin Li stood up to apologize. Yet, he was still full of smiles.
"…" Kayla was so furious that he felt like puking blood. How was that an apology? That was like slapping Kayla right after Fedrick without even changing his hand. To Kayla, nothing was as humiliating as that. But facing this insult, he could only choose to swallow his rage.
The world of mages had always been a cruel one. Whoever was more able in his skills would have more say in matters. Kayla understood that not only did he not have the ability to summon the Instant Flaming Hands like Lin Li, he also could not deal any injury to a level-10 mage just with a raise of an arm. Thus, he did not have any right to avoid Lin Li's slap.
In contrast, he needed to lower down his tone and make explanations. "Misunderstanding, misunderstanding, that was really a misunderstanding. Mage Felic, please don't take it to heart…"
Lin Li was still all smiles when he replied, "Mason Kayla, you must be kidding. Since you are brother Mason's friend, what misunderstanding could there be? Do I look like that type of petty people that would put such a trivial matter to heart?"
"…" Kayla was on the verge of spitting his saliva onto Lin Li's face. 
Dammit, how are you not a petty man? Fedrick only said a few lines, and you already used the Flaming Hands on him?
Of course, Kayla would not dare to say that out loud. That was an unpredictable dude. What if he smashed the Flaming Hands onto his face if he were to say any word wrongly?
"Oh, yes. Mage Kayla…" Lin Li smiled as he brought the topic back before continuing his speech with utmost sincerity, "What do you think of my suggestion? To say the truth, I feel that this cave is a tad too small…"
"…" The smile on Kayla's face froze. After hesitating for a while, he squeezed out some friendliness, and said with great care, "This… Look, Mage Felic, it's the last day of the mission, and Fedrick is injured too. Could you just let us stay here for the night?
"Of course not," Lin Li replied without thinking at all. He rejected it straightforwardly. "Larry is not in good health, what if he caught a cold from sleeping outside the cave?"
Facing Lin Li's pressure, Kayla had no choice but to submit to him. He clenched his teeth, and said, "We will stay outside the cave!"
After saying that, Kayla looked at Lin Li again. 
Do you have anything else to rebut me with? Since Shadowglen is not your house, even if you could prevent me from living inside the cave, you have no right to decide where I stay!
"You can't do that," said Lin Li. Who knew that he would reject this suggestion right away as well? He continued, "Hey, look. I'm a light sleeper, and I'll get insomnia from the sound of snoring. What if you are noisy at night?"
"F*ck…" Kayla was on the verge of vomiting blood from debating with Lin Li again.
"Mage Felic, are you trying to provoke us?" Sarsen finally spoke, but his question was extremely confrontational. He was a level-13 mage, after all. The Instantaneous Flaming Hands was not a threat to him. To him, only Gryffindor was qualified to be his opponent among all the participants of the trial. This arrogance allowed him to hold back his frustration until then. Or else, he would never care to give any verbal threats to anyone.
However, the progress of the matter finally exceeded the limits he could tolerate. Sarsen did not mind teaching that cocky fella a lesson personally.
"You're not happy?" asked Lin Li. That was the only thing he said when he turned around. The tension had reached the max now.
Kalya could not help but gasp…
Never would he believe that that fella had the balls to defy Sarsen, and with such provocative words!
Who was Sarsen? He was a rare genius coming from Nightfall City, and the man who could pose a threat to Gryffindor.
"Felic—" Mason said as he pulled on Felic's sleeves. He wanted to remind his teammate of Sarsen's abilities.
Before Mason could complete his sentence, the Mental Protection Field at the entrance shook with a great force. 
What followed was Lin Li's change in expression. He knew better than anyone else that the Mental Protection Field he'd put up was a high-grade magewealth. It would not bulge if it were to come in contact with normal spells. From the impact that was just created, he could tell that it was a Mental Spell of at least level-eight.
"Let's go and have a look first." Lin Li grabbed his Winter Staff, and dashed to the mouth of the cave, leaving behind a baffled Sarsen.
The moment Lin Li exited the cave, Orrin and Mason followed suit immediately. The trio had always been moving together. Naturally, they understood Lin Li's actions more than anyone else. It had to be a terrifying thing to be able to change Lin Li's expression. They grabbed their staffs without any delay.
The moment Lin Li set foot out of the cave, he heard a low voice from afar that was not the usual recitation for spells. The sound was mellow and distant, and underlying it was a tinge of sinister and deadly force.
As the recitation continued, black smoke clouded the air. A huge amount of Death Energy filled the surroundings, and a dark figure started to emerge from the black smoke. From afar, it seemed to be a ghost in a dark night. 
"Why are we so unlucky…" Mason complained as he followed behind them. Right after he saw that the figure had a Bone Staff and it was Death Energy that it was emitting, Mason was terrified. He started stuttering, "T-t-that's a freaking lich!"
"Troublesome." It was rare for Orrin to frown.
Since even Orrin showed signs of disapproval, it was obvious that the undead creature was an extremely troublesome one.
The birth of the undead creatures was a slow and complicated process. There were many different conditions required to birth one creature. If any of the factors were to be absent, it would be impossible to breed a true undead creature. 
No one could define how complicated such a process was—not even a wise and knowledgeable man like Andoine.
The only thing certain about those creatures was that their power would be determined by that from their previous life.
For example, the most common creatures in the Shadowglen would be Skeletal Warriors. In their previous life, most of them were adventurers with their own skill set and fighting abilities. After death, and under the influence of the massive aura of death in the Shadowglen, they got converted into Skeletal Warriors very quickly.
And what was more powerful than the Skeletal Warriors would be Hell Ghouls. They were usually the reincarnation of mages, and their levels were decided by the level the mage was at when he died.
If nothing were to go wrong, mages who were above level-10 would generally transform into Hell Ghouls. Compared to Skeletal Warriors, Hell Ghouls were a more powerful existence. They retained a small amount of magical knowledge from their previous life, and were to a certain extent intelligent as well. With those abilities, they would be able to achieve breakthroughs and upgrade themselves into a real Lich!
As for mages who were at least level-15, they had great possibility of becoming a Lich immediately.
A Hell Ghoul and a Lich only differed by one level. 
Yet it was that single level that classified them into high-grade and low-grade monsters.
One would only become a high-grade undead creature after becoming a Lich. 
The Hell Ghouls, on the other hand, retained a small portion of magical knowledge. Apart from summoning Skeletal Warriors, they only knew a limited number of low-grade magical spells. On top of that, they had weak cognitive ability. If they were to meet enemies a little slyer than them, they would naturally be at the losing end. 
But for Liches, it was another matter.
Especially the Archmages—they'd transform into Liches immediately after death. Not only would the knowledge they gained stay with them, they would also be mightier than a normal Archmage. Their accumulation of the Death Energy and the proficiency in the spells of the undead—particularly in the mental field—would make them the master of everyone! 
And because of that, their intelligence was no different from a normal human being's. Their long lifespan as undead would give them unlimited time for rationalizing. A Lich that had lived for a hundred years would be like a living encyclopedia, and the amount of knowledge it had would intimidate everyone.
If possible, Mason would rather be faced with 10 Hell Ghouls than one Lich…
But unfortunately, there were just some things that he could not choose not to deal with.
While the mellow recitation continued, black smoke moved towards the Lich. Everybody knew that that Lich was absorbing the Death Energy—it was a skill that empowered them to become a high-grade undead creature.
Its abilities would increase at the rate of its absorption of the Death Energy.
After its energy had reached the maximum capacity, what they need would just be one favorable circumstance. With that opportunity, they would be able to transcend into a higher-grade being.
Since there had been a battle between the undead near the cave, there were countless dead bodies—many Hell Ghouls, numerous low-grade Vampires, countless Death Knights, and of course… a level-18 Vampire. To any undead creature, the energy they'd left behind would be a deadly temptation… 
Unfortunately… 
The Death Energy got wiped off by Lin Li's crystal the moment it was released, and its remnants would be far from meeting the needs of a Lich…


Lin Li accidentally enters another world while playing with his smurf mage account just after he maxes out all kinds of crafting skills, bringing with him various top-grade materials. Although his character is practically powerless, what he gains in return is unprecedented magical talent! Can he survive by himself after being thrown into another world?
