 Qin Guan had to enrich his experience by exercising.
 He turned the pages, writing on them non stop. Only a rustling sound could be heard around him.
 Papers were filled, and books were opened and closed one by one.
 The campus celebrity spent only two hours on a whole book and two sets of test questions. Finally, the black boy sitting opposite him let out the breath he had been holding. He had remained stupefied as he’d watched Qin Guan work.
 He had originally done so out of curiosity for the fashion star, but he had gotten shocked by him.
 Rongzhi, who had just won an international robot contest, looked like a nobody compared to Qin Guan.
 The nobody was snapping pictures of his idol from some secret corner.
 It was rare to see Qin Guan in the library. This was a great chance to collect material. Every night he climbed over the wall between the US and China to make reports to Qin Guan’s fan club.
 "I saw Qin Guan on campus today. Here are some photos."
 A snapshot of a hurried Qin Guan in J Clothing, holding some books, was sent by email.
 "Qin Guan shot the posters for J Clothing today."
 "These are the posters for the Armani perfume..."
 He sent a picture of the Armani posters piled in a box.
 Qin Guan’s fans in China were all jealous of him. Show off! 
 Christmas Eve was the biggest holiday in the US, just like the Spring Festival was in China.
 Qin Guan and Cong Nianwei wanted to buy some postcards from the mall. They had received cards from their schoolmates, thus learning about the tradition of sending cards to each other before Christmas.
 The mall was crowded. People were purchasing cards, presents, decorations and colorful ribbons like crazy.
 "Look at this cute card!" Cong Nianwei pointed to a card with a red-nosed reindeer. Before Qin Guan could say anything, a large hand took all 10 copies from the shelf.
 Stunned, they looked at the strong man, who had taken all the cards and thrown them into a shopping cart. He headed for the wrapping paper without looking back.
 Qin Guan tried to console his girlfriend, "We did not need that many anyway. Just take the leftover ones."
 He was right. There were still several lonely cards left on the shelf. The sales assistant was in the warehouse. They might have to wait another hour to see the new products.
 It seemed like Christmas shopping called for a special operation.
 "Excuse me..." Slender fingers stretched over and picked up a reel of colorful ribbons from above two ladies’ heads.
 Before the old ladies could come back to their senses, the thief had disappeared. That was the advantage of having long arms.
 Cong Nianwei pushed the cart while Qin Guan grabbed goods. They were the perfect match for a robbery.
 "Oh, my beautiful lady! Your makeup is so elegant..."
 Standing by the gift counter, Qin Guan was flattering a girl, his eyes fixed on the decorations in her hands.
 "These are too old for your Christmas tree. Look, they are a little torn. I can see the sales assistant coming. You’ll get the most beautiful decorations for your tree. I’ll deal with these for you."
 Qin Guan smiled as the girl flushed.
 "Okay… Here you are..." The girl covered her burning cheeks and handed the decorations to Qin Guan.
 Qin Guan threw them into their cart fast. They had walked three meters away, but the girl was still standing there, lost in thought.
 Qin Guan craned his head towards Cong Nianwei, expecting some praise. "See? Only 20 minutes!"
 Cong Nianwei poked at his head with her index finger. "Liar! The supplier restocked the shelves 10 minutes ago. The girl will have to wait for another 20 minutes for the next supply."
 Qin Guan made a face, grinning cheekily. "It doesn't matter. She is still thinking about my smile. When she comes back, she will find new stock."
 What a shameless guy!
 They smiled and talked like tasting honey from a jar. After they decorated it, their small nest looked very festive.
 What played the most important role at Christmas though? Food, of course...
 Uninvited guests came to their apartment in the afternoon with the shameless intention of enjoying a traditional American Christmas feast.
 The turkey was sizzling in the oven. Qin Guan had bought the semi-finished turkey from a store and seasoned it with black pepper, salt and butter.
 He set the cold dishes carefully. Sliced oranges were a must, as they stood for the best Christmas wishes.

We spent the days before Christmas bickering and adventuring. 
We went high up on the mountain and marveled at its peak, taking too many pictures. My goal for this year of conquering a mountain has been realized. Yippee! Although, Minho objected on my other goal of sliding down the mountain. Killjoy.
And then we went caving! Oh yes, but with a tour guide. Sad, I can't have Minho to myself. Still, we had a beautiful time there, where the tour guide served as our photographer too. And then there were the bats! Nasty little creatures! They would just fly by you, and when you're in a tight situation, say jumping on the next rock, you would just have to brace yourself for a surprise. Sigh~
Anyway, Minho also rejected my suggestion of taking a bat with us back for a pet. He says laws and ecology and all. I say, we just don't let anyone know, and nobody will notice one bat missing since there's too many of them. Well, he's the voice of reason while I'm probably the Devil's spawn.
We also circled the mountain! Can you imagine how hard that is? Really hard. Very hard because you have to maintain on the same angle for the whole duration of the walk. I feel like my leg and thigh muscles are getting bigger. But who suggested this stupidity? Of course! Of course! It's me! And this is probably the only goal Minho ever approved on. Why did I even think about this.
And then there was the breathtaking Jade Falls. Really beautiful. It's just really short, but it's beauty lies on it's staircase formation in three branches! Really lovely! The water is cascading down to the river, and you only have to choose where you climb up, either way you'd still reach the mother falls!
Oh how lovely it is to witness nature's gift. Someday, if I had too much time and if I had the means to, I will really fly around the globe and appreciate these wondrous creations. But of course, with the love of my life. Will that be Minho? Or Ethan? 
O_O Holy sht! Stop thinking about him. Urgh my nature-appreciating mood has been utterly destroyed. Sigh~
"Hey baby. What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I just thought if ever I would go around the globe and admire these kinds of things, would you still be there?"
Minho looked at me, a hint of a smile and a blush appearing on his face. "Honestly babe, I'm not really sure of what the future has in store for us. But what I'm certain now is that, I want to be with you always wherever you go."
I grinned and kissed him, accidentally pushing him towards the water. But he pulled me along with him, "Aaaaaahhhhhh~"
Brrrrr. Sht omg the water's too cold. 
I frantically swam to the shore. Brrrr, brrrr. And Minho followed suit.
When we reached semi-dry ground, I playfully hit his arm. "You! Why did you pull me down! Too damn cold."
I was shivering so hard. Maybe Minho took pity on me, that he hugged me.
"This is the best way to generate heat. But really, I just want to get you wet."
"Hmmmm, why do I think you're dirty talking to me?"
"Hmmm, am I? I'm just thinking, what if I please you right here, right now?"
"Minho, what are you talking about?"
"Baby, whenever I'm with you, I am constantly reigning my demons in to not to devour you. But I can't hardly keep them at bay when you look like this. So damn hot."
I looked down at myself. Yeah, really hot. My shirt's soaked wet so my red bra is very visible adding to the wet look factor.
"Uh, Minho be very cautious of what you're saying or I might **** you tonight!"
"Why not now?" And he ran so fast away from me.
"Minho! You! You devil! I'm gonna tickle you! Come here!"

In the cabin, we spent our time cooking. More like Minho was just the only one cooking. I was actually just an ornament there in the kitchen, watching him cook because I really have no talent on cooking.
Of course, being Cassidy, I always nag Minho of teaching me just one recipe. Because I want to cook for him, even just one, for Christmas. But, honestly, I am a disaster in the kitchen and still, Minho's still so patient in teaching me that I can't help but always sneak a kiss whenever he's frustrated of me.
I hope I could get this recipe so that I could get an A+ from him. Hohoho Merry Christmas!
And on times, we just huddle in the living room and read his books. During these times, we are each on our own worlds. We don't talk and just immerse on our reading. These are my favorite times. We sit beside each other and just read. This is the most romantic time of all.

And before we knew it, it's already December 24th! 
It's almost Christmas eve! And I have just burned another cake!
Oops.

He gave up.. 

We broke up.. 

We moved on and made our lives worthwile.. 

But then he calls.. I answer..  And we shared everything about ourselves. 

I was like his secretary. He was like my secretary. We know everything about each other. 

Are we now back as a couple? Or just that, friends?

The fourth issue of 'Batman' is finally here, and to surprise of no one it's really good. This 'Samuel Oak' has a clear idea of where the story will go, and it shows in his comic.

The current story arc has 'Batman' fighting against one of the most prominent mafia groups in 'Gotham'. But to someone who knows the characters and some popular plots that involves them, it was possible to imagine the magnitude of the events that will happen in the future. 

"Carla, is there any other thing you want to buy?" My brother asked me suddenly. 

The shop was about to close, and there was nothing else to pick my interest. I already had 'The walking dead' second issue, and there wasn't anything 'new' that I could see.

"No, there's nothing else" I simply said, and then with my new acquisition in hand, I followed him to the exit. 

The streets were especially crowded today. Not a surprise considering that Christmas was coming. 

"Don't leave my side, it's dangerous" My brother said and took one of my hands firmly while walking towards our next destination. 

"I know" I mumbled. He really took seriously the responsibility of taking care of me, so I wasn't going to make it hard for him, even though I was old enough to walk by myself. 

We were going to the bookstore. There were plenty of them in the city, but one in particular was closer to our home. 

It took us about fifteen minutes to arrive, which was a lot considering that we usually take about eight doing the same route. 

"You can look around while I go somewhere else" My brother said once we entered the bookstore. 

"Hey, you don't have to be shy. Just go and say hi to her" I encouraged him. 

Another reason to come here was the lovely daughter of the store owner. My brother has a serious crush on her, but he still haven't even said hi after all this time. It was sad and cute at the same time. 

"Wha.. What are you tatalking about?" He stuttered.

I just looked at him with a deadpan expression. It wasn't the first time we had this conversation, so I just waited for him to realize this fact. 

"Yeah, hehe. I'll be going then" He finally said nervously, and walked towards where this girl was.

It was adorable seeing him go around her, looking at some books and pretending to be interested in them. While she was oblivious to all of that.

I could've looked at the cheesy scene in front of me for a longer period of time, but I needed to see the new books released before it was time to go, so I turned around and approached the biggest stand in the store. 

I had picked up the habit of checking out new books after I discovered the first volume of the princesses collection. Since then, I wanted to know about any 'new' writer that appears in the scene. Information was key, and unfortunately it was hard to get. 

"Hi! How are you?" The first thing I encountered was this confident boy trying to approach a beautiful girl who was inspecting some books. 

I couldn't blame the guy, the girl was really cute. She had a wavy light brown hair, hazel eyes, and a light tan that accentuated her youthful beauty. 

"Oh! I'm fine, just unsure in what book to buy" She replied with a cute smile. 

"Maybe I can help you, I like to read a lot" The boy said quickly, with a smile that showed the happiness he was feeling with the current development. "What are you looking for?" 

"Really?! Thank you so much" The girl's smile grew. "I'm looking for a Christmas gift and I can't decide which book my boyfriend would like" 

I had tried to avoid the situation in front of me. A couple of preteens awkwardly flirting wasn't new to me after all. But even I couldn't help feeling bad for the boy. 

"Emmm sorry, I can't help you... Bye!" He said awkwardly, and immediately proceeded to go out of the store. All while the girl had a confused expression on her face. 

"He was interested in you, and when you mentioned your boyfriend he just ran away" I explained her the situation. I couldn't let a clueless girl like her go around breaking young boys hearts. I guess that having a insecure brother has made me soft for this kind of situations. 

"What?" The girl looked at me with a face full of surprise, "But I had never seen him before" 

I just sighed at her words. I couldn't believe that someone so innocent could have a boyfriend in the first place. 

"Get used to it, it will happen to you often" I simply said. I wasn't planning on wasting more of my time with her. So I just turned around, looking where to go. 

"Thank you... Emmm, I'm sorry but could you help me picking a book?" The girl asked before I could escape. 

I was about to refuse, but her damn watery eyes blocked the words out of my mouth. It appears that I was too soft period. 

"Yes, of course" I sighed quietly in defeat. 

"I'm Claire by the way, nice to meet you" She said with a renewed smile.

"I'm Carla. Likewise" I replied with a smile of my own. "So you are looking for a book for your boyfriend, right?" 

"Yes! He used to read more kid friendly stuff, but now he's more interested in longer and more complicated ones. So I don't know what to choose"

"And did you think that a younger girl like me would be of any help?" I asked jokingly. 

"Hehehe, you're right" She admitted embarrassingly. 

"Don't worry, I already said that I'll help you" I assure her, "I'll need more information about him though. What does he like to do?" 

What can a preteen boy like to read? My brother offers no help with this question. I should motivate him to start reading, maybe that way he would have something to talk about with the girl he likes.

"He likes a ton of things. He likes to read, to write books, to make comics... He's currently doing his own game too" Claire replied with a sweet smile. 

I smiled back, but in my mind an idea started to flourish. What were the odds to find about another reincarnated guy like this? 

"Oh, he must be really talented to do so many things at just what, twelve?... thirteen?" I fished for an answer. 

"He's ten! Although he will be eleven in a couple of months" 

My age then. Which further confirms my theory about all of us being born around the same time period. 

I guess that Claire took my silence as me being impressed, otherwise I couldn't understand why she adopted such proud expression. 

"What about this book?" I asked her out of nowhere about 'Harry Potter' that got released last week. I wanted to caught her off guard just in case she knew the person who wrote it. 

"Oh, that's a good one. But Sammy is who wrote it, so I don't.... Oh! I shouldn't have said that. Could you keep it a secret? Pretty please" She pleaded. 

Sammy?... It could be the famous 'Samuel Oak'. No, it has to be. There's no coincidences. 

So this guy went with another style, changed his pen name, and went with another publishing company. And just with that he thought he would trick me, huh?... Well he kind of did. 

"Don't worry, I'll keep it a secret" I said sweetly. I couldn't had her being suspicious of me at this time where I got the upper hand. 

"Thank you!" She said, and before I could notice I was trapped in a tight hug. 

I could see why this Samuel liked her. She was sweet, beautiful, and gave good hugs. Although I still couldn't figure it out why would he even waste his time playing couples with all the work he gave to himself. 

"Ok, so you need another book" I said once she let me go, "Then, what about this one?" I showed her 'The chronicles of narnia'. 

It was Miguel's book. It got released just yesterday, so I don't think that he has got it yet, unless he has a news source outside of the traditional outlets. 

"Oh! It looks interesting. Thank you very much!" She said with a toothy smile after reading it for a while. 

"It was my pleasure" I smiled back, "Now, I don't want to intrude, but could you tell me more about your boyfriend? I'm a huge fan of his after all" 

Hopefully she will tell me about this game she was talking about before. Although I was more interested in how he got a cartoon so early on, it was the most useful piece of information for me and Miguel right now.

Samuel Bane, a guy who was just a normal 23 year old in another life, was living in a new world with his memory intact.

After lunch, Chris didn't return to the Gryffindor tower. She wasn't in the mood of facing the trio again. She went towards the courtyard, it was covered in deep snow. She was standing alone, feeling that cold, icy breeze when she heard a voice. She turned sharply and saw a familiar person stuck in the snow.
"Now who is following whom, Fawley?" Chris asked looking surprised.
"Just passing by." He snorted. "Ugh — this snow —"
"Wait. Let me help," Chris smiled and pulled him out of the snow.
"Thanks," He said.
"It's cool," She replied and walked back.
"What happened?" Jason came beside her. "The girl who can't stop talking, wanted to be alone?"
"Yes, and guess what — the rude boy who never likes to talk is trying to make a conversation here," Chris said rolling her eyes.
"I was bored. Usually, I work on my subjects or study different books to kill time but I've finished my subject books and works, so, just wanted to take a break."
"Are you ok? I think you're unusual than me, today." Chris said smirking.
"You know what? My bad. I shouldn't have come here. First that snow — now you. I should've stayed in the library. Bye." He turned away.
Chris grabbed his hand, "Hey! Hey! Sorry — just a weird day."
Jason looked at Chris. 
"Mine too." He sighed. "Don't ask me why?"
"Okay. So — why didn't you go home for Christmas?" Chris asked.
"My mom went to a celebration at her sister's place outside the country."
"And your dad?"
"Dead."
"Oh! Sorry." 
There was an awkward silence.
"Why didn't you go home?" asked Jason.
"My dad is out on a business trip." 
"Is your mom also —?"
"No no. She is alive — she lives with her new family." Chris said looking away.
"Sorry."
"It's fine. I don't feel anything for her anymore."
"Lie."
"What?" Chris looked at him.
"You're lying. If you hadn't felt anything then you wouldn't have turned your face away."
"What're you? A lie catching expert?" Chris raised her eyebrows.
"No. A lying expert. I do that every time I lie so I know." He sighed.
There was another long awkward pause.
"Do you have friends?" Chris asked.
"No. I don't do friends. I think you shouldn't open yourself in front of someone completely."
"Why not? That's why friends are for. We can tell them anything."
"So you tell your friends everything?"
"Ye—" Chris remembered the things she had hid from her friends. "I will, soon."
"You can't tell everything to someone. Somethings you need to lock inside yourself. That's life."
"Maybe you're wrong." 
"That also means — maybe I'm right?" 
"Maybe." Chris shrugged.
"Exactly."
It was getting dark and the snowfall increased.
"We should go inside," Chris said after a few moments.
"Right. Bye." Jason said and hurriedly left.
"Weird," Chris shook her head.
Next morning, in the rest of the castle, the usual magnificent Christmas decorations had been put up, despite the fact that hardly any of the students remained to enjoy them. Thick streamers of holly and mistletoe were strung along the corridors, mysterious lights shone from inside every suit of armour and the Great Hall was filled with its usual twelve Christmas trees, glittering with golden stars. A powerful and delicious smell of cooking pervaded the corridors, and by Christmas Eve.
Chris woke up in the morning by the sound of Leon, who was literally hooting near her ears.
"Yes, yes, Merry Christmas to you too, Leon." Chris patted Leon and he enjoyed it. Then Chris found lot's of gifts in front of her. 
Her dad had sent her a brand-new bag, Hagrid had sent a cake which was hard as a brick. Then Colin had given some designer handmade photo-frames for her pictures, Luna sent a book named "The Tales of Beedle the Bard." But most surprising thing Chris saw was, Mrs Weasley's aqua coloured jumper with Chris' name's first letter knitted on the front, also a dozen home-baked mince pies, some Christmas cake and a box of nut brittle, with a card made by Ginny. Ginny's card said that Mrs Weasley wanted to thank her for the last time, when she saved her from that chamber but didn't know how, so this year she decided to make a jumper for her like the others in Weasley family. Indicating that, now Chris was also a part of their family. Chris smiled reading the card.
Chris had sent Colin a wizards game set, Luna a beautiful and colourful hat. She brought gifts for Harry, Ron and Hermione as well; so she got ready, wore the jumper made my Mrs Weasley and went towards boys dormitory, she was sure Hermione will be there.
Chris entered Harry and Ron's room and heard Hermione's voice.
"Well — who'd send Harry something as expensive as that, and not even tell him they'd sent it?" said Hermione.
"What happened?" Chris asked.
"Hey, you got a jumper too?" Ron said noticing her aqua coloured jumper.
"Yeah. Your mother sent me one." Chris smiled and gave them their presents. "So what's going on?"
"Er — nothing — it's just a broom, Hermione," Harry said.
"A broom can be jinxed, Harry. Don't you remember your first match?" Hermione said hotly.
"Anyone want to fill me in?" Chris asked again and noticed a Firebolt in front of Harry.
"Harry got a Firebolt and there is no name who send it. Hermione is over-reacting." Ron said lazily.
"No. She is not, Ron. She is right it can be jinxed. Harry has enough enemies who want him dead and everyone knows his love for Quidditch, they can definitely use it as a trick to kill him." Chris said seriously.
"See Chris understood my point," Hermione said.
"What rubbish." Ron snorted.
"Ron, you were worried about the grim, weren't you? So now you can risk your best friends life for a broom?" Chris said.
But before Ron could answer, Crookshanks sprang from Seamus's bed, right at Ron's chest.
"GET – HIM – OUT – OF – HERE!" Ron bellowed as Crookshanks's claws ripped his pyjamas and Scabbers attempted a wild escape over his shoulder. Ron seized Scabbers by the tail and aimed a misjudged kick at Crookshanks which hit the trunk at the end of Harry's bed, knocking it over and causing Ron to hop on the spot, howling with pain.
Crookshanks's fur suddenly stood on end. A shrill, tinny whistling was filling the room.
"What's that?" Chris asked holding her ears.
"I forgot about that!" Harry said, "It's Ron's gift for my birthday, this is a Pocket Sneakoscope. If there's someone untrustworthy around, it's supposed to light up and spin."
"But I think it's broken, it's making this sound from the train," Ron said still clutching his leg.
"Wow — interesting." Chris said looking at it.
The Sneakoscope whirled and whistled in Harry's palm. Crookshanks was hissing and spitting at it.
"You'd better take that cat out of here, Hermione," said Ron furiously; he was sitting on Harry's bed nursing his toe. "Can't you shut that thing up?" he added to Harry, as Hermione strode out of the room, Crookshanks's yellow eyes still fixed maliciously on Ron.
Harry stuffed the Sneakoscope back inside the socks and threw it back into his trunk. All that could be heard now was Ron's stifled moans of pain and rage. Scabbers was huddled in Ron's hands.

There were many people in Rose Castle. The preparations for Christmas Eve were pretty quick too. The chefs had gotten ready a long time ago. They had already come up with over ten different types of desserts, and a group of people was decorating the Christmas tree in the garden with all sorts of decorations. 
Ye Yifan put 200 dollars in each red packet and hung them all over the four Christmas trees, making it look really red. 
It was also his first time setting up for Christmas on his own.
The Ye Family was pretty old fashioned as the Ye Old Lady had very traditional thinking. The grandest event in their home was Chinese New Year's Eve. For Christmas, they would usually just gather and have a meal together. 
This Christmas, Ye Ling has a 'mistress' hidden in his house. Clearly, he could not return to the Ye Family's residence for any meal.
Ye Yifan's two brothers were not attending it, so he could not bother to join in. As a result, he came over to Rose Castle.
He really liked Tong Hua, and seeing Tong Hua made him happy. 
It made him even happier than seeing pretty ladies. 
The evening sun was warm. Ye Ling's car returned with two bullet-proof cars behind him. It was Christmas Eve, and he had returned early. The moment the cars arrived at Rose Castle, they were attracted by the warm colors. 
The castle was built to look very exquisite. So exquisite that there was nothing to complain about. Every inch of it looked like a beautiful painting. Every plant was placed at the perfect place, making them really beautiful. Ever since Shen Qianshu came, the garden that had always been there just for display became way more full of life. She was always playing in the garden. Sometimes, she took photos of the beautiful flowers, and sometimes, she took some selfies. Sometimes when the weather was great, she would read books in the greenhouse. 
In the morning, you could see them fighting in the garden, and the entire garden was full of noise. 
There was a more humane touch to the entire Rose Castle. 
It was Christmas Eve. The bodyguards and helpers were all helping to decorate the Christmas trees. The four trees stood in an orderly manner with decorations and red packets hanging from them. Tong Hua turned on the lights, and the Christmas trees shone. It was an amazing sight. 
A group of people was chatting noisily. From a distance, Shen Qianshu could be seen smiling brightly with her head looking up. Tong Hua said something, and that made her bend forward in laughter. Then, she carried Tong Hua to let him pick the red packet at the highest point.
Ye Yifan hit his little hand playfully but ended up having his shoulders getting stepped on by Tong Hua.
The crowd surrounded them and laughed happily.
He was just being engrossed in observing when Shen Qianshu turned around and smiled even brighter. "Master, aren't the Christmas trees I bought beautiful?"
"Beautiful."
She stood under the evening sun with a slight smile on her face. Her eyes glowed as if there were stars in them. They were so captivating, and they emitted warm light that brightened up the entire castle. It was so beautiful that it seemed unreal. It was colder outside the house, so the people made their way into the house. 
There was still a Christmas tree in the house, and it was exquisitely decorated. There were gift boxes, red packets, and decorations on the tree. Zhong Ran grabbed a red packet from the tree swiftly. There was a huge turkey on the table that was cooked to be really crisp and soft, and the strong aroma filled up the entire house. 
Ye Ling had always been a man with few words. The people gathered around the turkey, salivating. Tong Hua had always spent Christmas in simple ways. He had never celebrated it in such a formal Western style, so he was really excited. 
Ye Yifan asked, "Bro, where's my gift?"
Tong Hua chimed in as well. "Daddy, where's my gift?"
Shen Qianshu followed along. "Master, where's my gift?"
"…" Ye Ling stared at the three.
Do I owe you guys anything?!
Zhong Ran took some exquisite boxes of gifts out and placed them on the table. The pink one was for Shen Qianshu, the blue one was for Ye Yifan, and the white one was for Tong Hua. The three of them opened up their gifts in excitement. Zhong Ran looked at Ye Ling's expression. Indeed, his face had darkened. 
Hello!!!!! Couldn't you guys at least offer a 'thank you?!'


Seven years ago, Shen Qianshu is impregnated with Ye Ling's child in an accident.

People come and go, but he had no one to lose.
The ones he lost, never left a memory for him to reminiscence. And the ones with whom he had an ocean of memories, never returned. But, life still goes on and the past can never return.
Sitting there for a while, he returned to his room. He took a shower and returned to his bed. The moment he laid down on the bed, he fell asleep.

Next morning, upon waking, Margaret cocooned herself into the warm, soft white sheets. She rubbed her big doe-like eyes removing the remainders of sleep. Giving out a big yawn, she gazed out at the vivid sky which had a rosy tint alongside the vibrant shades of early morning blue. The curtains added a soft glow to the whole room. She felt the rays of the sun soak into her pale skin, making her feel warm and ready for the day.

The day passed quickly. Corbette along with his own family of four celebrated Christmas together. They sang and danced together. Margaret was happy to see the smiling faces of Liliana and Caroline, unlike the usual dull expressions they used to carry. 

"Merry Christmas to all," Corbette raised a glass of red wine as he spoke.
The celebration ended soon. 

Whereas, Alexander was busy reading some papers in his study. The table was piled with files on its left, books on its right and a pen stand in the middle. His hand rested on the edge of the table, scattered papers under his wrist. His eyes kept constantly analyzed the paper from left to right. In the end, he signed the papers and kept them in a file before placing it on his left.
While opening the other file, he heard three knocks.

"Come in", he tossed the file on the table.

"Good morning my Lord," Julius bowed.

"Morning, is there something important to convey?" Alexander asked, his eyes narrowed as his hands searched for a particular file.

"Merry Christmas Master," Julius wished, the crescent-shaped eyes looked at the Lord while a sweet smile formed on his face.

Alexander's hand stopped. Looking up to Julius, he smiled.
"Merry Christmas, Julius" he smiled as if he yearned for someone familiar to wish him.
"Milord, are there any plans for today?" Julius tactfully asked.
The smile on Alexander's face turned into a frown.
After a few minutes of dead silence, 
"You know the answer to your question, Julius" his hands continued searching the file.
"I shall now take my leave," Julius bowed before leaving.

After hearing the door shut, Alexander's hands paused searching.  It has been nineteen years since he celebrated Christmas. The thought of celebrating Christmas haunts him till today.


'I'll be waiting for you, Alex' ,  a beautiful young lady waved her hand up in the air as she spoke.

The pile of files fell off the table making a loud thud. Hearing to the sudden sound, Alexander snapped out of his trance state. The smiling face of hers was still fresh in his mind. 
He got too many regrets in his life. And having no one to call him as a family made it worse. He, being the most powerful king of all four provinces carried the legacy of his father. He was known for handling and solving matters in his own way. 

Only six more days to pass for him to know his answer, the most important one.

The day passed quickly, the sky turned dark with heavy clouds floating, obstructing the moonlight. In no time it started raining heavily. The clattering sound of the heavy water droplets banged against the glass windows. After much banging, the window opened wide making the curtains float high up in the air. Strong gusty winds crashed against every single thing present in his room. The papers flew away, some lying down and some still flying.
He stood up and walked towards the window. His face all wet due to the racing raindrops, looked like as if it were freshly sculpted with a knife. His white shirt was now drenched in water, showing off his rippling muscles. The white shirt now translucent sticking to his skin, gave an image of his toned muscles.
He closed the windows and wiped his face with his hands. He immediately changed into a new pair of clothes and then went downstairs.

"Good evening Milord, is there anything I can help you with?" Julius spoke with a tone of sincerity.

"Clean my study, and sort out the files scattered on the floor," Alexander ordered as he walked towards the main hall.
Turning to his left, he entered the hall instead of the main hall. Inside the hall, a huge chandelier hung above the piano. 
The hall was a little small in size compared to the main hall. There was only a piano in the middle of the hall and a chair for the pianist alongside another.

Alexander walked straight towards the piano. He sat on the chair with his back straight, arms relaxed and straight in front of him. The hall was filled with silence except for the clock, which produced soft ticks periodically. He stared at the keys as if he was reading the notes within his mind. His slender fingers glided over the keys, hitting a few keys which created a haphazard tune. Slowly, his fingers started pressing the keys randomly. The music seemed to fill the silent hall. Gradually the pace of the music increased, while the fingers danced on the keys smoothly. The tune was now more like a harsh one.
He kept pressing the keys continuously as if he was ranting his heart out. But then, suddenly he stopped. His head bends towards the keys, hair falling past his shut eyes, he breathed heavily.

"You know how to play the piano!  Can you teach me?" the same beautiful young lady in a pink gown asked Alexander.
"What do I get in return?" Alexander smirked, his eyes flashed a glint of mischief.
"Nothing," she answered boldly.

Hearing her reply, he quickly scooped her in his arms and started walking towards the hall.

"What are you doing Alex?  Let me down," she glared at him and struggled to get off him, but it was of no use. Her strength was a no match with his.
She then quickly buried her face in his chest to avoid looks from the maids, her hands circled around his neck. Looking at how adorable she looked, Alexander laughed. She was a dose of cuteness.
Both entered the hall adjacent to the main hall. He finally let her down.
She gazed at the piano in front of her, a small squeal escaped her lips. She immediately covered her mouth, not to embarrass herself more. Alexander held her hand and started walking towards the piano. He sat on the main chair and started gliding his fingers past the keys. Noticing that she still stood beside him, 
"Come, sit beside me" he pulled the chair for her and gestured her to have her seat.
She obediently followed his orders. 
He played a Largo, his fingers lazily hovered over the white keys. From the lazy tune, he swiftly changed it into an Andante, the pace slowly increased. Moderato, and in the end Allegro, his fingers danced sweetly yet fastly on the keys. She admired how perfect this man was. The man in front of her held a great charm and was artistic.

Alexander kept on playing the same tune, but all in Allegro. His fingers kept on pressing the keys hard, his moist eyes moved followed his fingers over the keys. 
Hearing to music, Julius came running towards the music hall. Upon reaching, he saw Alexander kept on pressing keys with no sign of stopping. The music was pleasant to hear, but only he knew what harsh reality was behind the melody.

"Lord Alexander" running towards him, Julius shouted.
All of a sudden, his fingers paused. The fingers slightly quivered. 
"Lord Alexander, I- I-..." Julius trailed off, he didn't know what to say next.
After so many years he played this tune, but this time, it didn't sound fine.
Serving the Lords of the Brookville for centuries, he knew Alexander very well. As a small boy, he used to come, ask him to play with him. He used to give him company wherever the boy went. He was like his shadow, and he blended well with the shadow of the boy. 

Alexander didn't speak, but his hollow stare at him was enough to give goosebumps. 
"What happened, Milord?" Julius asked carefully, his eyes looked at him with much concern.
A long silence prevailed in the huge hall, they could hear the huge wall clock ticking along with the pendulum swinging.

"Find more about Margaret, daughter of Corbette,"  this one sentence from him was sufficient enough for Julius to understand.
"Yes, Milord. I shall give you the information real soon," he bowed.
"You may leave," Alexander stood up from his seat, took his coat and when striding towards the  main door. The wind was so strong that the heavy rain ends up falling horizontally instead of vertically. Alexander stood there, raindrops splattered on his whole body. 
After a while, he went straight to his room. Changing into a new set of clothes after a nice shower, he went to sleep immediately. This night would be a never-ending one for him. 

Meanwhile, Margaret was busy cleaning her room.
Today was Christmas, a day well spent. 
Thinking of all the things that happened in the past two days, she smiled.

Set in the 1870s

A 5-year-old Margaret lived with her widowed mother in a small village of Brookville. For the little girl, everything seemed perfect until one day her world drowned in an ocean of blood.

"Margaret listen to Momma" her mother pleaded with her hands cupping the small face.
"The world is not a safe place for you. If I leave you, do not cry okay? You must live.." the mother tried to pull her lips to smile but she failed.
"Momma loves you" Emilia kissed her daughter for the last time.
Having no idea what was happening she saw her mother leave the house without turning back.
Hearing the sounds of tearing flesh and screams, scared little Margaret found a place to hide.

As the only survivor of the massacre, will Margaret be able to survive? Will she be able to unfold the mystery behind the death of her mother?


10 years later

"Good morning mother, good morning father" Margaret greeted.


The main continent, Ceadon is divided into four provinces, namely the land of Brookville, the land of Ostbarrow, the land of Wintermere and the land of Shadowlake.

To maintain peace among the four provinces, the mythical creatures such as the vampires, the witches, the dragons and the werewolves lived in their respective province. Humans resided in all provinces. Staying amidst the vampires, will Margaret be able to know who she is? 

The young girl sets to find her true identity, and on her way meets the Enchanted Soul.

After coming back home I woke up and started smiling which startled my mom. Looking at me my mother was curious started speaking with me ' I gave birth to you I went through so much pain you little rascal you don't call me mom and call some church father papa '. she was pinching my nose and laughing .After that day I became famous in my village every body calling me a miracle boy who was  blessed by God . I was happy with my life playing with my mom/aunt rosy and some times with my neighbour's ( I was left with them when my mom went to work). every one cares for me I started feeling sense of belonging to this new world.
       As days went by I learnt that the language these people we speaking was French . From the conversation s of people I understood that world war 2 is over few years back which confirmed my speculation I was born in the golden age of peace and money. The smell of money and becoming a billionaire made me so happy . I understood by seeing my mom that we were poor and my father might have died or left us. I started learning basic word of french . slowly started walking with the help of my mom or some stool .
                                            Then came Christmas which made me happy atleast I may be able to learn which year this was . Almost all people in our village we farmers or people working in flour mill and most of them or all of them are illiterate. In this blissful day of Christmas we went to church everyone was happy and cheerful. I came to know that it's  going to be end of year 1955 . Well what ever I was happy. Then came my first birthday day.
                                            It was January  1st 1956 my birthday my mother was so happy carrying me to church while showing me people on the way with an expression ' see he is my life my boy kinda of expression' .As my eyes were same as my mom  light emerald green and hair was bit special it was rose gold hair she always felt proud for my beautiful looks .I felt happy to have such a loving mother then at church father blessed me and did prayer for me. As  for my birthday gift my mom gave me kids books with which looked old/used but I felt happy. My aunt gave me few chocolate s when I first got taste of them I was became fan of these they were tasty and felt creamy in mouth may be it was genetical. Because in my previous life I never like chocolates.
                              As time went by it's already been four years since I can in to this world which was same as my previous world . I gained lot of knowledge in these years about outside world which confirmed that may I was in my previous same world but in different time line .Which made me  happy .I started  reading and writing along with some kids with help of church Father who started teaching children  in the village .I came to know during my study that our village name was appenwhir . And we were nearly 500 - 600 kms  away from Paris . every thing was going well And my fifth birthday would be coming in few months and it felt like ' If there is God he is great ' for presenting me with a happy life. Although being born poor I had pollution safe life, growing in nature and people with good heart.


As the saying goes" all the good days have to come to an End" . 
 
All hell broke loose for my village and my family on my fifth birthday.

Neville's pov

Neville couldn't say he was excited, after all being with his grandmother Christmas was kind of a nightmare.
It all started when he got down from the train.
You would think that is a grandmother who hasn't seen her her grandchild she would hug him and be interested in him.
But no, as a pure blooded lady she had standards, you couldn't expect her to care! You should expect her to be rigid and cool.
So instead, she made sure as soon as they reached home by flu she started yelling at him for not doing as good as she expected of him in school. Something that was ridiculous as he was one of the top 10 in theory in his year as he was Hermione's best friend, it's for practical he really didn't know why he had such a hard time to succeed. But he would figure it out, After all he had the smartest which of their generation as his best friend.

Marcus's pov

Marcus was really happy to come home, he could finally talk with his parents about his year, and all the adventures he had.
The flying lesson debacle, The Midnight duel, The three headed dog, The Halloween troll and The Quidditch incident.
His father was proud of him, feeling as if he and his friends were the next generation of the marauders, while his mother was less excited about the dangers he had to face in school, he really couldn't understand why though, after all, isn't he the hero of the Wizarding world? 
Then his mother asked the question he have been waiting for arrived. "What about Harry? Do you know where he's celebrating Christmas?"
"No mom, I would never be friends with a slimy snake, especially one who is so hated that he has no friends even in Slytherin, even Hermione and Neville stoped being friends with him when they saw his real face."
"Ok," dad said "lets stop talking about depressing subjects. I have something to give you, I know it's not Christmas yet, but I have a traditional gift to give you, something every father gave his oldest son in the Potter family for centuries in his first Christmas in school." He pulled a wrapped box and gave it to Marcus. "The Potter family's invisibility cloak, a cloak that make you become invisible to any one and that no one can find you or it unless he is of the Potter blood."
As anyone would be, the invisibility cloak really exited Marcus.
"That's awesome, is this the cloak you used with your friends to sneak and prank people? This is the best gift ever!"
After that the Potter family continued having a great Christmas.

Harry's pov

It was Christmas Day and Harry didn't get a single gift. While he didn't expect much from anyone, he thought at least Hermione and Neville would bring him something, after all, he got them gifts- he sent Hermione a 2 galleon's ticket for Flourish and Blotts which can get her about 13 books and Neville got a ticket for a new wand at Ollivanders, which costs 7 galleons but apparently they weren't friends anymore, no biggie. So instead of being depressed, Harry did what he always did, he fully focused on his task- learning everything he can. Something which wasn't that hard, as there were no students in the library.
Right now he took a break from studying curses, something that became super boring as instead of intent it worked on wand movements and actively saying a nonsense word and was studying rituals of Yule, as after thinking much about that he realized that he might miss an important date for a ritual that can bring him a lot of benefits but after searching the ROR and library he couldn't find a single mention about rituals which meant someone removed the books in the library as there was no way otherwise that no books were made about rituals. But if there was one thing Harry wasn't is a quitter, so he took a book from one of the history shelfs and started looking for references about rituals and holidays

Three hours later

Harry was disappointed yet exited, on one hand he found lots of references about rituals and holidays but not one reference had both of them. On the other he found something very interesting about a certain magical artifact. 'In 673 BC, the sorceress Diana Marcelo created a multipurpose devise and became one of the most renowned magical artifact's creators known to the magical kind and the creator of the first mind defense magical art, something which would be refined later to the magical art known as occlumency. And while there are plenty of dangerous magical artifacts, non is more deadly yet useful then her creation the mirror of Erised, as an artifact used to better her mind defenses was also used to trap the mind and soul of the creator's enemies, as the enemies didn't have mind defenses, the mirror enthralled her enemies by showing them the thing they want most and planting the obsession to keep looking. In fact, the mirror can also be used to hide things inside that only specific person could bring out as the mirror can confirm your thoughts to make sure you are truly him."
This made Harry realize Dumbledore's plan, by making sure only Marcus can bring out the philosopher's stone and bullshiting the hell when asked how it was possible he makes sure Marcus is always sure in himself, his friends believe in him and that Marcus trust Dumbledore even more. All of the above were fine by Harry, as long as he gets to study the philosopher's stone - an alchemical masterpiece, which meant getting the stone before Dumbledore can destroy it and make sure if it's the real one, as even though the books said it's real Harry found it hard to believe, why would a wizard who created a masterpiece like that and lived for centuries need help with guarding his most famous creation, (not best as he lived for centuries!! he must have done something in that time.) to creat a safe guard when he could just have his wife create a fidelius charm around a place and make him the secret keeper thus having a foolproof defense for his possession. No it is ether a fake stone or Dumbledore managed to steal the stone/kill his mentor, and Harry wasn't willing to take chances about whether it's real or not, which meant either coming up with a plan to steal it before Quirrell managed to get past the dog or waiting there and stealing the stone after Voldemort leaves, yet before Dumbledore comes, and after reading about the mirror, he was leaning more for the second option...

You know the drill, I died and got wishes, than I replaced the main character and lived happily ever after... or at least that's what it is supposed to be like, so why, in instead of reincarnating in my favorite book I am stuck in this AU where I am not sure what's gonna happen? Good thing I love fan-fictions?
I don't own Harry Potter, if I did Harry would never have forgiven Ron in years four and seven and the cursed child would have never been written
