During lunch, the ladies came up to Alex and began to stuff him with the food they brought from home. By the time lunch was over, Alex was overwhelmed by the gesture both in his heart and his stomach. His stomach swelled and bulged enough to almost tear apart his shirt.
After lunch, when all the ladies and Alex came back, they were immediately called by Karen in the meeting room.
In the meeting room, Karen was sitting in the middle while all the others were either on her right or on her left.
Alex and Amber being the newbies, were sitting at the far end opposite to each other.
"You must know why we are having a meeting now. Many of you know our company acquired another company a month ago". Karen said as she addressed all of them.
All of them nodded except for Amber and Alex.
Amber raised her hand to ask about it, but Karen who saw it ignored her, and said, "As for those who are new, let me tell you about it".
Listening to Karen, Amber brought her hand down. Karen continued, "Last month 'Theation' acquired a book publishing company".
Listening to this, there were complicated expressions on the faces of all those who were present there. Even though they knew about it, they thought it was completely unrelated to their own venture. They all began to gossip with each other.
"I know what you all feel, but it's not our job to question the decisions made by our superiors on what they should or should not do. Our job here is to do our best in promoting what we are asked to. Now we are asked to promote this new company. We all are here to discuss this matter and map out a strategy for promotion". Karen said as she was well aware of what all of them were thinking.
All the ladies nodded their head in understanding. Alex was amazed as to how focused his chief was that she would never partake in any gossip around the office. The respect he had for her increased by a notch.
The ladies began to discuss among themselves and give suggestions to the chief.
"Boss, why don't we ask one of the celebrities from the ongoing shootings to promote the company on their social media? Instead of making them the brand ambassador of the company, we can enter into a pay per post kind of agreement with them" Elaine said. She was the social media manager, so it was easy for her to keep an eye on that.
"That's a good idea, make a list of all the celebrities which fit our requirements in fees, popularity and their image," Karen said as she liked the idea, but she reminded, " Keep this in mind, the image of the celebrity is the deciding factor here.
"Yes, boss" Ellaine said as she wrote down the details in her pad.
"Boss, how about shooting an advertisement?" Amber said as she raised her hand.
"I don't think it is the right time". before Karen could say anything, Hazel pinched in.
"Why?" Amber asked confused.
"When companies start, they don't just outright jump into the market with advertisements. They need to make a small local market for themselves first". Hazel explained to Amber.
"Ohh..." Amber nodded in agreement.
After that, all the ladies present, again involved themselves in a discussion.
The discussion kept on going for some time.
Karen looked at Alex who was sitting silently, at the very end of the table, not taking part in the discussion, "Alex, are you not feeling comfortable?".
Hearing Karen, the chattering in the meeting room stopped, and the focus of all the ladies in the room shifted towards Alex.
"No, I am feeling fine". Alex said as he straightened himself.
"Then, don't you have any suggestions for us?" Karen asked, placing her palms on her chin as she supported herself with her arms on the chair. She looked curiously towards Alex.
"I have, in fact, I have two suggestions, but I don't know if you will like them". Alex said while scratching the back of his head, embarrassed.
"Owww... Alex, why are you being so shy? Just tell us even if nobody likes them, you will get to know what and where you are lacking". Elaine said as she encouraged him.
"Yeah, and it's even possible that we might end up using them with some or no changes". Jennifer said, mentioning him the possibilities.
"You listened to them, go on". Karen said as she gestured him to go on.
"Well, I don't know why the upper echelon of this company is so adamant on going with this publishing company. We need to keep in mind that everything is available online, not many people might end up buying our books" Alex said as he told everyone to not have their hopes high.
All of them nodded while Karen knitted her eyebrows. This problem, she was well aware of already.
"Well, first of all, we all know shooting is always going on here. One movie or TV series after the other, right?" Alex said.
All of them nodded, on hearing Alex.
"Now Ellaine here, suggested that we ask for a celebrity to endorse the company, right?" Alex asked.
"In a sense, yeah," Ellaine said.
"Now, on the same idea, we can have a different method of promotion. The projects here are of different genres too, so why don't we use a bookstore or cafe scenes to promote the books of our publications? Seeing the leads of the movie or series, reading a book people might get curious and end up searching about them or even buy them" Alex said, and by the end, he was very excited about his idea.
All of them looked amazed at his suggestion, this was such a basic and a very good idea to promote their books. It won't even cost them a bit.
"Why didn't I think about it? We don't need any resources for this. We can just go to any set and hand them over a book". Hazel said as she lamented over her foolishness.
"But it may not necessarily increase the sell of our hard copies. People might just download pdf from the internet". Alex soon poured water on their excitement.
"So what do you suggest we can do to increase that?" Karen asked. She was beginning to get interested in Alex's ideas. He might end up helping the boss a lot.
"Chief let me ask you something if for about two or three hours you have no access to the internet, nor do you have anything else all you can do is sleep, if I were to give you a book will you read it?" Alex asked with a smile.
"Well, I have to, if I can't do anything else". Karen said.
"This can be our way to sell our books".
"What are you saying tell us properly". Karen asked.
"The second suggestion is...".

"Mom, where are my clothes?" Alex asked ready to go find a girl.

-Inside a luxury cafe, East of the City of Manila-

Aurora 'Aura' Meyer had always been a failure of a writer. Her editor friend, Lucy Roces, was aware of it and this was the reason why even though their friendship was quite deep, the other party never brought up the matter of publishing Aura's book through their publishing house. 

"I say, Lucy, I'm pretty sure I'm almost there. My book is already half-way done and I only need another burst of inspiration to finish it."

"Are you still working on that same horror story? The one where the main protagonist is haunted by a black lady because of a curse or hex?" Lucy gave Aura a weird look. 

Lucy could still remember reading that half-done story due to Aura's nagging and it really left a huge impression on her. 

Her friend had the command of the language; however Aura, without being aware of it, was really not cut out for this profession as her stories were always bland, dragged out and full of loopholes. The first chapter is always one of the most important parts of a story. And Aura never failed to not realize that as her leading chapters were always without appeal. Lucy could perfectly relate to why no story of hers had been published.

"I plan to visit a really haunted place to get this burst of inspiration. My goal is to conduct my own research about ghost sightings and dig deeper regarding the very famous concept of voodoo and 'kulam'."

"Can't you just do internet research? You're a girl, going to dangerous places just to finish a book is totally pushing it." Lucy's voice was tinged with worry. 

"In this world full of billions of mysteries, if all people think like you, no more progress will be made and our civilization will be stuck to where it is currently at. You know, I believe that people should do more actual research than depend on others' already researched information. Having your own set of first-hand information is a thousand times better than getting others'. You also won't have to worry about accidentally infringing copyrights or patents. What say you? My dear friend, you can be relieved that no piece or part of the problem or topic is overlooked because if you are the one conducting the research, you'll immediately realize what you missed out."

Lucy, whose main source of income was to correct what the authors' missed out, frowned as Aura continued prattling.

"So far, it was estimated that only five million of the mysteries had been discovered. What I want to do is to conduct my own research and make some contributions....."

The aspiring writer then laughed. She grabbed her bag to bring out a book. "Hey, can you guess what this is?"

The editor merely shrugged. "We published that book so of course no one could be more familiar to that than me." It was titled 'Night of Terror' and the book was a compilation of horror stories Lucy's team had painstakingly gathered and edited to package into decent stories. Actually, more than half of the compiled stories came from a single person, a ghostwriter Lucy wished for others to have no more contact with.

"Some of the stories in this book are the same in terms of writing style and usage of vocabulary. I know the stories had been penned by the same person. Since you are the chief editor, can you arrange a meeting with the author?"

"No. He's a ghostwriter who doesn't want to be named. He feared bothersome people like you the most." Lucy answered without batting an eye. "You know, you have a rather good pair of eyes for editing. Why don't you just accept my offer and become my assistant editor?"

Aura laughed. "I'll consider that when our friendship ends. As for why, let me tell you. Friends are better having different careers to avoid comparison and some nasty troubles brought by competition. And hey, you said the author is a 'he'! How did you know so much about him, you even know he's someone who preferred not to meet bothersome people like me?" Mixed in Aura's tone was suspicion, as if the woman smelled some fishy odor between the lines. Unfortunately, her friend only raised her right brow.

Aura's lips twitched, knowing that her friend has no desire to continue that topic. She lamented how Lucy was so protective of that unnamed author. Could it be, there's a shady deal underneath? Aura's author's imagination became wild as stories starring her friend and the ghostwriter churned and turned inside her head.

"Since you are so hell-bent on doing your own research, when do you plan to leave and where?" 

"Tomorrow." Aura laughed. "I will go north. I intend to visit some famous haunted places like the Diplomat Hotel and the Laperal House. Then I will try to investigate if hexers and witches really do exist. Hopefully, the tribesmen near the City of Pines knew some information. Friend, wish me luck! I will not go back unless my book is finished. I hope when that time comes you'll reconsider publishing my book. Haha."

Lucy looked away. The editor actually was not expecting much from this failure writer friend of hers. Also, a secret she would never divulge to her friend was how her boss warned her about entertaining the publishing of Aura's books. She wondered if her boss had heard some weird rumors from the other publishing houses. She could only sigh as she studied her friend's expression who seemed too excited for the trip tomorrow.

[ Perhaps, when the time comes, my only option to show my support as her friend is by educating her on how to self-publish. ]

After her meet-up with Aurora, Lucy Roces decided to visit the ghostwriter behind most of the stories of 'Night of Terror'. She first bought some chicken and vegetables for dinner which she planned to share with the ghostwriter before driving his apartment located on the outskirts of the city. An hour after, she was already parking her red car on the roadside.  

"Nathan! Nathan! Please hear me out! I beg you! Why can't you accept me again?! I'm sincerely sorry for what I did before. Can't you forgive me already? I'm begging you, please forgive me. I still love you! I really do!" A gorgeous sobbing woman pleaded to a neatly dressed man. 

"I'm sorry. I no longer have any feelings for you. I'm sure you understand that when you left me three years ago for a businessman you hooked up with, we're already over, and will never be together again." The man's face was devoid of any emotion. He showed the way out to the woman but the other refused to leave.

Lucy watched as the crying woman held onto the man's shirt, "Why!? You're being so heartless and stubborn, Nathan. Can't you really give me a second chance? I swear this time, I will be the best girl for you. I-I will do my best to make you the happiest man in the world. Please believe me. Give me a chance, okay? I will love only you and will never betray you." 

The man called Nathan blinked. He eyed her with a raised brow. "But you already betrayed me, no? And since you already did it once, you can surely do it again, and again. I'm sorry but my heart is not that big. It can only accommodate one faithful lover. My heart is also fragile so I don't want to enter an insecure relationship where betrayal and jealousy can happen at any time. I'm sorry. Even if second chances are easy to say and give, we still have to see whether the person is worthy or not."

Lucy only got out of the car once she confirmed that the woman had already been pushed outside the gate. She did not immediately walk over though. Lucy waited for the other woman to completely leave before approaching the man. 

"Is she your previous lover?" she asked as she watched the woman cursed and said something like 'You'll regret this!' before bolting away.

Axel was about to open a breach to Earth-38 until he realized something that may be important on this Earth if he were to continue living here and helping 'The Flash'... Money.

Now how does someone from a universe were this is all a 'T.V Show' get money from? Well it's quite simple. Considering this is a whole new universe that contains many different things from his he can invent or create new things. Now will he create a new piece of technology that could help humanity as a whole? No... He decides to draw. Not manga but a comic. A comic about a whole new universe... Know as the MCU.

I began to run around Central City finding some supplies to start my little writing adventure. Now did I steal this things? Yes... I'll pay them back I promise.

As he was roaming around the city in flashes of light he started to recall his memories on how to use his powers curtsy of a certain 'Generous God'. He found many new things he could do with his power and some unique skills he came up with on his own. He also figured out that running around slowly increased his speed. Not by a lot by all means, but he had plenty of time to get faster... He also had some unpleasant ways to get it, but those would obviously come to the those with evil intent... Anyways he started making a list of his powers in his 'Info' area thanks to the assistants help.

As he finally came to a halt on-top of a room he begins his drawing adventure. He sits cross legged scanning his memories as his hands move at an unfathomably high speed. Now if you're wondering why he got so many supplies, which he did... It's because he may have burnt a *cough* few pencils and pieces of paper because of his speed. So he focused his powers and drew again. This time faster than a normal human but enough to keep everything in-tact. He first decides to draw the life of all avengers before the initiative. He still couldn't believe that he was doing this but he quite enjoyed it as it would also allow those on this earth the satisfaction of reading such master-pieces. After a whole day of making sure everything was wrote perfectly and nothing was missed he had finally completed the whole base for the start of the avengers. He wrote a big sum in that amount of time and if he was right in thinking, they would hopefully be turned into films as well and earn him even more money.

He was absolutely starving and decided to rundown to Big-Belly-Burger and stock up. Yet again he stole it, but what you gonna do? He'll pay em back... I think. After he ate he was on a room top looking over the city he saw a blue streak flash about and thought 'Your time shall come... Zolomon'.
With that he arrived in front of a publishing company known as 'Sokudo Comix' (Random Name, well the first bit translates into something about this fan-fic... Hint 速度 :D )

Currently there was a meeting going on inside said company, all the editors in the company attended with nervous expressions on their faces. At the end of the somewhat large table sat a man crossed leg with an unusually pale Persian at his side stroking it. (<-- Reference). His name was James (Hehe). He was the editor in chief of 'Sokudo Comix'. Even though he looked like an evil man that would plot countless evil plots he was a pretty laid-back guy.

"We need a new comic that others will go crazy for, we're losing business!" One of the men said.
"This company is slowly crumbling" Another mumbled.

"Yes... I have realized this and other companies besides us are getting constant business." James said making the others stay silent.


"What I'm saying is we need talent people! AND WE NEED IT NOW!" He roared. (Not laid-back when he's slowly losing business.)

No one said anything after that comment as they realized that they may be at the bottom of the food chain now unless someone with talent walked through their doors, but that was unlikely... Right? However that did all change... The moment a call came in from the landline in the middle of the table silencing everyone yet again.


*Static*

"Damnit, Misty... I told you I'm mid-" James said in aggravation only to be cut off by her, which he did not expect.

"S-s-sssir we have... SO MANY AMAZING COMICS DOWN HERE!" A lady which was assumed to be the receptionist shouted

That instantly made the people in the office go into a frenzy and caused them to rush down he office. As they arrived in the lobby they only saw one person except the receptionist and he was a young man reading a newspaper with a few boxes of comics on his right.

The editor in chief walked up to him and said "Are you the one who's gonna submit the comic?" in an erratic breath, because of the pace he rushed down here... (Wow really desperate kun)

"Yes" Axel stated simply.

"Please, let us view them!" He said practically in a pleading tone.

"Sure..." Ryder said in a confused tone at the desperateness of this man. (I'm gonna change from Axel/Ryder a bit (Tell me if I should just leave it as his giving name or surname.))

As Ryder was observing James, he looked up to make eye contact and said "W-What's wrong?"

"Well, we didn't introduce ourselves" Said Axel with a goofy grin.
"Y-yes. My bad, I was caught up in the comic, how forgetful..." James replied nervously. "I'm James, James Jesse or my friends call me J.J (Weird as name but... Yeh xD) and I'm the editor in chief" He stated the last bit in some form of pride yet embarrassment.

"Right..." Axel said 
"Anyways, you can all view some of the different comics if you want" He said straight after passing some different ones along to the rest of the 'staff' he assumed.

All these were just some titles of the comics that they received and after a few quick glances and reads each member of the company were hooked in an instant with stars in their eyes.

James himself couldn't believe it, in front of him was many different comics all in one that would change the whole world in an instant. His eyes began to expand at the detail and amazement of the comics.

"MR RYDER SIR PLEASE LET US PUBLISH THESE!" He said whilst bowing in a strange tradition.
"Sure..." Axel stated, trying to get right to the point. He wasn't an impatient man, but he wanted money. I mean technically he could steal stuff but that's not on his 'Moral Compass'... He only does bad stuff to bad people.\

"THANK YOU VERY MUCH!" He basically screamed in excitement at the haul he would receive and how popular his company would become. These would rise him back to the top!


"Okay... ANYWAYS *Roll eyes* Let's talk about our contract,"

"Don't worry, we'll definitely give you an appropriate contract." With that he turned and began a discussion with the rest of the people and finally turned back around.

"We can give 25% Royalties and this will increase if this increases in popularity and you produce more of course and come to us!" James stated smiling.

'Wow 25% fuck me... They must be desperate, I mean I know these are amazing and I can make plenty more and plenty different ones but DAMN!' Axel thought.

"Deal" He said and struck up a handshake both stating that it'll be 'Fun working together'
After the signing of the contract, Ryder said goodbye to them and decided it was finally time to change Earths so when he came back he would come back to some money.

In a nanosecond he appeared on the roof of the company. He began to vibrate is arm as he stretched. Finally he found the correct frequency and sprinted off the roof jumping in the air in a gold and blue blur. He thrust ed his arm forward causing a blue portal to widen out of nowhere and suck him in only for him to come out on a different side. Central city now gone... A new city awaited. He was here. Earth-38.

Why wish to be 'The Flash' or a 'Speedster' when you could wish for your very own Speed-Force with no restrictions...

Psychologist Personal Notes on Subject 616

Session 1
 My initial thought seems to have been correct subject 616 bonded with that girl and had a deep emotional attachment to her for his age.  What was even more interesting was that subject 616 does not have the same level of attachment to his own family.  She may have been his first real emotional bond.

Session 2
 The subject said that she smiled at him that was why they became friends there was nothing else.  No one else has ever done that and meant it according to him.  The subject's family has had no problems with him before that incident they were at a loss about the whole thing.  Both parents are office workers and are rarely home, the younger sister is taken care of by him most of the time, and the older brother is in college and stops by randomly to check on them.  He commented on how the subject has always been odd, but never dangerous, he did not think that was possible.

Session 5
 The subject is having problems in his new school, the news of his prior incident has become known and he has become a point of fear in his class.  It did not seem to bother him in the beginning, but one of the kids in his class has a sibling that knows his sister.  So he asked me what he could do to be more normal.  I suggested he more closely observe everyone around him to get an idea of something as vague as that.

Session 8
 It has been over a year since the incident and the subject has started to change himself.  He has shown me some of his 'faces' the first few were kind of scary or just bland.  He told me a little girl named Haruno fainted when he showed her number 5 and doesn't want to show anyone else it because of that.  I wonder how he scared her that much with just his face.  Aside from that his second year of middle school seems to be going well.  Since he is doing well, we are going to have fewer sessions a year now.

Session 16
 Subject 616 seems like a completely different person since entering high school.  I have never seen this kind of change in a person before, let alone a kid.  His family doesn't think he needs these sessions anymore so this will be the last one.  I had a long talk about if he feels any different from before the incident.  How has he made new bonds, how does he feel about his family now, and how is his relationship with his girlfriend.  

 What he responded with terrified me.  

Subject 616 said he has no new bonds and nothing has changed since before the incident.  He has simply adopted a mask to make life easier.  How did I not notice this was all an act I thought he was growing getting out of his shell.  I thought I was helping him become more open with his emotions not fake them to trick the world.  He even thanked me as an integral part of his plan.  His girlfriend Haruno, her father is part owner of one of the largest companies in Japan and they are still growing.  He already has an internship planned for the summer with them.  None of this was possible without my assistance he tells me over and over.  He goes into detail of long term plans I don't catch much of them my mind is spinning.  I do catch that he has looked for that little girl but her family moved out of the country; it seems her father was a foreigner so she was only half Japanese he never knew that until it came up in his research.  She is still his only bond but it seems to have weakened over the years I can only hope he makes new ones someday.  

He ended our conversation by having me burn our list of his faces we made a while back I never bothered to make copies because it did not seem relevant.  I always thought that he could just not show how he was feeling to others and that was their purpose, not this.  And then he returns to the face he had as a child, but it seems all the colder and crueler now, just to ask me one last question.

"Now doctor, I am sure I do not need to worry about you ever publishing any of our conversations do I."

Subject 616 then returns his smile and leaves the room for the last time.  I don't know what to think anymore all the progress I thought we made was a farce.  He fooled me, all of his faces I thought they were real, every emotion in them, all of them were faked and perfectly.  

What have I done?

Meanwhile, other media companies adopted the same strategy too. 
Reading through their almost-released news, the boss of one of the companies raged. "A whole bunch of morons! Why did I even hire all of you? How could you even think of publishing such news? Are you running out of materials to write about?" 
"Look at all of you! Have you lost your mind? Should you be reporting about such news?" 
"Your heads have gone all rusty! You're just sending yourselves to your own graves! Do you know what you're doing? Do I have to spell it out for you?" 
"I'm so exasperated! It's a good thing I found out before the news was released. Just wait to be fired!" 
"You're making me so mad! You don't put in effort in your work and just think of exploiting opportunities. You can't report on this!" 
"Who agreed to publishing this? Own up now! Who wrote this article? I'm taking away your pay this month. Count your lucky stars that I didn't fire you! I slogged so hard to set up this company. Do you think that money comes by so easily?" 
"I still want to work for several more years, but all of you are making things so difficult for me! It's so annoying!"

Every single media company in Country X collectively chose to ignore those documents, destroying it instantaneously.
