As he searched, he thought about those words the maid Shuang'er had said to him. He couldn't help but wrinkle his brow, and the speed at which his finger traveled along the books slowed. Was it really possible to read all these books one hundred times in ten days? Just how should they be read?

On Purification was just a general summary of cultivation—the forty-nine books on its back cover were the true object of study. Students needed to use the knowledge and wisdom contained in these books to open their minds, solidify their understanding of the world, and thus strengthen their souls.

This was a purely spiritual side of cultivation. Ever since the Heavenly Tomes descended to the earth and humans began to cultivate, this initial step of condensing the spiritual sense had always used this method. Perhaps it was because countless worthy predecessors had concluded that this method was the most efficacious and had the highest chance of success. It might also be because words were the only vehicle for one's thoughts, so in order for one to use the thoughts of one's ancestors to assist in converting one's own thoughts to strength, one would naturally have to use words to bridge this connection.

Since this sort of method was being used, the forty-nine books listed in On Purification were naturally acknowledged by human society as the forty-nine books best able to assist one in condensing the spiritual sense. Ever since the Orthodoxy had finalized this list in the year fifteen-eighty-two, it had never been changed.

Chen Changsheng walked along the bookshelves as he searched for those books. Although he was abnormally familiar with the ordering of books in this library, he still needed an entire hour to find all forty-nine books. He then brought them to the window and aligned them according to their order on the list.

He did not immediately begin to read, instead going out to Hundred Flowers Lane and eating some vegetable soup and rice porridge. After that, he sat on the grass by the lakeshore, shaded by the thick forest, and rested for an hour. Only after his mind was fully content did he return to the library and take up the first book.

Previously, as he was searching for these books, he had already confirmed through the names of these books that he had never seen them before. But he immediately recalled that Xu Yourong had read all forty-nine books one hundred times and condensed her spiritual sense when she was only four. The newly-born spot of pride in his mind instantly dispersed as he laughed at himself, thinking, it truly is meaningless.

His next course of action should be to use the method described in On Purification to take the words and the information in the words of the forty-nine books and engrave them in his mind, completely converting them into nutrients to strengthen his soul, and then condense his spiritual sense in one stroke.

After eating dinner, he returned to the library, heated a pot of water, and brewed a cup of tea from some scented tea leaves that he had bought in Hundred Flowers Lane. He crossed his legs and sat down. His gaze slowly swept over the neat row of forty-nine books, ultimately resting upon On Purification.

The words of these books slowly floated up from the depths of mind, returning back from his childhood memories, abnormally vivid. Then, these memories gradually began to release some sort of Qi that, according to the method outlined in the first chapter of On Purification, began to incessantly mingle in his mental world.

Many years ago in the old temple, he had completed the opening of his mind. Now, what he needed to do was solidify his knowledge.

He closed his eyes and began to calmly think, and then he gradually forgot to think.

In truth, the so-called 'understanding the mind to know one's character' was not that complex.

It was just fusing and linking them up as one.

Time gradually passed, and from the moist ground outside the library came the chirping of insects.

Clearly, it was still early spring.

The darkness gradually set in, the many stars gradually brightened, and the capital bustled with the noise of people.

The Orthodox Academy with its sole occupant was still as quiet as ever.

The oil lamp in the library was very feeble, yet it seemed like it would never extinguish.

At the beginning of time, a mystical meteor came crashing down from outer space and scattered all over the world. A piece of it landed in the Eastern Continent, with mysterious totems carved upon it. Through the observation of these totems, humankind comprehended the Dao and established the Orthodoxy.

Several thousand years later, the fourteen years old orphan Chen Changsheng left his master to cure his illness and change his fate. He brought a piece of marriage vow with him to the capital, thus began the journey of a rising hero.


Zhang Zian was busy the whole day and now it was almost time for him to go to bed. 
Zhang Zian had been exhausted throughout the day, but now that he knew the elves' lives could be extended, his tiredness vanished completely. However, he hadn't told the news to Old Time Tea or the other elves yet. As Pi had said, it wasn't the right time. If he hastily told the news to everyone, they would be too expectful. The reality might be too disappointing. For that reason, they might as well not know about it in the first place. 
Even if the lifetime of the elves really could be extended infinitely, the elves had to go through an extremely difficult process to do so. Judging from Pi's stern expression as it read the untitled book, Zhang Zian figured that this may be his biggest challenge and trial since he downloaded the Pet Hunter game.
Although he couldn't understand the untitled book, whether it was the Hyperwebster Dictionary, The Book of Sand, or a fantasy book from another civilization in the universe, he was still very grateful for it. Without it, he wouldn't have found out about such reassuring and hopeful news.
The elves had fallen asleep, one after the other. Before going to sleep, Richard had been very active that night, as if everything put him in a good mood. Zhang Zian had to hang it upside down to calm it down. 
When everyone was in bed, Pi was still sitting in front of the computer, typing away.
"Pi, did the noise bother you?" Zhang Zian came over and asked. He knew how annoying Richard and Snowy Lionet were.
Pi shook its head no.
"Well, we're all going to bed now. Please go to sleep as soon as you finish writing." Zhang Zian brought over a small desk lamp. The lamp light was turned away from the bedroom, so it wouldn't affect anyone's sleeping.
He didn't plan on telling Pi what he was doing later, because he wasn't sure whether he would be successful or not. He didn't want Pi to be disappointed after giving it so much hope. 
Pi grinned and nodded.
Zhang Zian glanced at the elves again. After confirming that each elfin was in its correct place, he turned off the ceiling light. 
With the light from the desk lamp and his own nightlight, he laid on his bed and stared at the ceiling, listening to Pi type. He thought about the elves' lives for a while, and then thought about the situation of Uncle Li's diner. He tried to allow all of his thoughts to occupy his mind and keep himself from falling asleep.
About an hour later he heard a click, and the fan noise from the laptop disappeared. Pi turned off the desk lamp and the room grew darker. It climbed into the basket hammock chair to go to sleep.
Zhang Zian kept his eyes open for a while, and almost fell asleep. He pinched his thighs to keep himself awake. 
He looked up and guessed that Pi had already fallen asleep. Then, he grabbed his cell phone by his pillow and opened the Qidian app.
That day, as he watched Pi write, he had secretly browsed the Internet on his cell phone, trying to find out what the amazing reading lists were.
After he finished researching, he knew that reading lists were an important supplement to the Official Recommendation Spots from the Qidian website. A reading list was created by an individual, who would list his or her favorite books and the reasons why they would recommended those books on their list. If other readers agreed with the owner's suggestions, they would start following the creator of the list. The reading list owners were similar to bloggers who reviewed digital products on video websites, and the digital products recommended by bloggers tended to receive more attention. Some reading list owners even had tens of thousands of followers. 
After careful searching, Zhang Zian discovered that the reading list owners were roughly divided into two categories. One type introduced and reviewed each book in great length, while the other kind of reading list owners introduced each book with only one sentence. The former type attracted much more followers than the latter. After all, through the detailed evaluations and introductions, the readers could tell that the reading list owners had put in a lot of work into every book. 
That day, he had mentally noted the reading list owners' IDs who wrote long book reviews and then went to the comment sections of their lists. He first ruled out the most popular reading list owners, because in their comment sections, numerous authors or authors who pretended to be readers were promoting their own books. Those reading list owners wouldn't be able to read all the books being recommended to them, even if they tried to read 24 hours a day.
As for the reading list owners that attracted fewer followers, their comment sections were basically empty. It wouldn't be helpful for Zhang Zian to advertise Pi's novel in those lists. 
After more research, he targeted a reading list owner who had the tenth most followers. The ID name of the reading list owner was Morning Gorilla Star, who was mentioned by the author of Diplomats of the Underworld. 
Morning Gorilla Star had written down his requirements about posting advertisements in his comment: Do not copy and paste your ads. I will promote urban novels that have no or only one female protagonist.
Zhang Zian felt relieved when he read these requirements. He was extremely popular with women, and many cute girls were desperately hoping to be his girlfriend. Pi had just hidden this fact while writing the novel based on the life in Zhang Zian's pet shop. Therefore, Pi's novel had managed to meet Morning Gorilla Star's requirements.
Advertising was like sending resumes to hiring managers. The key points of the novel must be written as concisely as possible. What was the highlight of Pi's novel? It certainly wasn't that the protagonist didn't have a girlfriend! 
He typed on his phone: Can I promote my own book? The title of the book is Pet King. The protagonist, who is the owner of a pet shop, downloads a game that can capture elves. Together with the elves, he witnesses the growth of the pet shop. There is no female protagonist in this book. 
He thought it over and added "Currently" in front of the sentence, "There is no female protagonist in this book." Then, he satisfyingly clicked the "Send" button.
After sending the message, Zhang Zian repeatedly refreshed the comment section and anxiously waited for a reply from the reading list owner, just like a job seeker who was constantly refreshing emails and nervously waiting for replies after sending out his resume. Zhang Zian had read the books recommended by Morning Gorilla Star, and all the books were well-written. Perhaps Morning Gorilla Star wouldn't think Pi's novel was good enough. However, Zhang Zian hoped that Morning Gorilla Star, who had read countless books, could at least tell him why Pi's novel failed to be recommended by him. In that case, Zhang Zian could help Pi revise the novel. Zhang Zian was acting like a job seeker who was close to starving to death and desperately needed a job, whatever the job was, to feed himself.

He was very sleepy. Should he wait till the reading list owner woke up and try advertising again? 
No, he shouldn't wait. Tomorrow, Pi would receive its first Minor Recommendation Spot. If its novel failed to be ranked in the top three or top four spots, it might never have a chance to receive a recommendation again.
With that thought, he decided to advertise on another reading list. Advertising was just like begging, and as long as he could swallow his pride now, he would gradually become thick-skinned. 
This time, he lowered his expectations by moving his attention from the reading list owners with tens of thousands of followers to ones with hundreds of followers, hoping that some of them hadn't fallen asleep yet.
Zhang Zian noticed that there was one whose ID was Yang Chenkong. In his reading list, Yang Chenkong wrote reviews with thousands of words for each book and offered many thoughtful insights. However, Yang Chenkong only had a mere 3,000 followers. Would it really be useful to advertise in this list?
Zhang Zian desperately went to the comment section. To his surprise, he saw that this reading list owner was still online, discussing his opinions with his friends about a certain book. 
Zhang Zian hadn't read the book that they were talking about. However, from reading their conversation, Zhang Zian felt as if he had read it and learned about its successes and failures. From observing, Zhang Zian could tell that Yang Chenkong was very professional. 
For some reason, the comment section of his reading list was blank and had no advertisements. Zhang Zian chuckled to himself. He could take advantage of this rare opportunity to advertise. 
There were some basic rules of advertising for all reading lists. Unlike like people who put advertisements in bathrooms,  book-promoting advertisements couldn't be randomly posted. Each reading list owner had different requirements for advertisements. For example, Morning Gorilla Star had explicitly stated that he would only recommend novels with no or one female protagonist. Yang Chenkong, however, had a wide range of book choices. Except for supernatural novels, Yang Chenkong basically read every genre. 
However, the most difficult thing was that the list owner didn't specify which book genres he would recommend, and Zhang Zian didn't know how to cater to his preferences. After thinking about it for a while, Zhang Zian rewrote the message that he had sent to Morning Gorilla Star. He deleted the sentence "Currently, there is no female protagonist in this book." He added, "Feel free to read the sample chapters, but don't blame me if you're poisoned (Translator's Note: Read and Poison sound the same in Chinese)," hoping that his self-deprecating tone would draw Yang Chenkong's attention. 
After clicking "Send", he was too tired to repeatedly refresh the comment section as he did before. It was almost half past one in the morning, and he would need to get up early that day.
Putting down his cell phone, Zhang Zian lay down flat on the bed. Soon, he was half-awake and half-asleep, and he would completely fall asleep at any moment. 
In the darkness, Pi had been watching him the whole time. It had barely moved, except to slightly change its posture after its legs started to get numb.
Pi had always known about Zhang Zian's actions. It could tell from Zhang Zian's exhaustion. 
Since Zhang Zian was so tired, it wouldn't matter if he did these things later, right?
Pi opened its mouth and silently imitated the shape of someone saying "thank you."

Zhang Zian thought he heard something. It seemed like someone was talking to him. He barely could open his eyes. His drowsiness was as heavy as a mountain, pressing down on his eyelids.
He looked around and found nothing out of the ordinary. He unlocked his phone screen and saw that it was past two in the morning. 
Since he hadn't logged out from the Qidian app yet, he clicked open Yang Chenkong's comment section, the second reading list owner he advertised on that night, hoping to find Yang Chenkong's review on Pi's novel. However, he found no review, and saw that the advertisement he had posted was gone.
No wonder the comment section was so empty. As it turned out, Yang Chenkong deleted all of the advertisements in his comment section. Zhang Zian's efforts were again all in vain. 
He couldn't keep his eyes open anymore. He shoved his cell phone under his pillow and fell asleep.

"ARRGH! This is so annoying!" For the past few days Hadrian has been flipping through books gotten from the non-magical side, the monotonous actions were grating on his nerves. "Why can't there be a spell to scan all this!" This caused Hadrian to freeze, as soon as he realised what he just said, he felt like breaking down crying.
 
 "If there's no spell, why didn't I just make one?" Laying down in depression thinking about the days he spent flipping through books, "So-Many-Paper cuts", Hadrian drowning in his depressing thoughts, laid down as he suppressed the urge to scream profanities at his lack of forethought. "Alright! From now on we are working SMART not hard!"
 
  Sitting up he immediately went to the LHP, "compile all books on charms" similar process to the ones he had witnessed previously, after a few seconds a book materialised in front of him. "With the current number of magical branches, some surprisingly being supplemented by science theories, I can confidently say I'm able to sit all my NEWTS easily. However, with the library in Hogwarts and the ROR, who knows what else I might find."
 
 Concentrating on the knowledge he gained it took him a few minutes to craft the spell. The requirements are not only to scanning the books, bypassing any protections and wards over them, scanning the content of the books then feeding back to him in a form of reverse Legilimency.  A colourless wave swept through the library, most books in there had already been added into the LHP however those that he still hadn't touched because they had some really nasty and complicated curses appeared in the LHP. "Success! Well this definitely speeds things up a bit"
 
 While calling Twinky he prepared for his first official outing, remembering some of the outfits he saw in Diagon Alley he transfigured his clothes into robes. "God I hope I don't have to be exposed to that community longer than necessary", apparating to an empty alleyway he cast a quick illusion charm over himself and a notice-me-not charm just for good measure. "Note to self, learn how to appareate or a different means of teleporting that's more convenient and doesn't feel like I'm getting squeezed through a straw".
 
 Approaching the Leaky Cauldron, he was still disappointed by what he saw, ["why would you have this to be the first thing non magical born see when they're coming to the magical world?"]. Managing to make it through to the alley without any hassle he made his way to the one and only Flourish and Blotts Bookseller, as he passed through the threshold however, his invisibility charm immediately unfolded. "Luckily I still have the notice-me-not-charm if not who knows what might have happened, maybe I should cast an illusion on my appearance as well. I need to be more careful in the future".
 
 Walking in while dodging customers he arrived at a rather secluded section of the store, "magnam quaerere" he whispered, closing his eyes while concentrating on the LHP he watched as book after book appeared in his mind. Letting out a low whistle he couldn't help but be impressed "there's gotta be at least 10,000 books here, the least I can do is explore the parts I can't see", a mischievous grin appeared on his face as he approached the section of the store that doesn't allow customer access.
 
 Casting a few detection charms he picked up on a few wards and charms on the entryway, ["flaws"] soon enough a list of over 20 flaws appeared in his mind ["this is too easy"]. Bypassing every means of security used, he saw what could only be called a secret library, books piled with no separation by group or genre. "Migrads Curses, Algraves Enchantment…" Listing titles after titles, he saw books on subjects not taught in Hogwarts including some alchemist books.

 Soon enough the entire content of that library was scanned, however what he failed to consider was that, there might be hidden mechanisms that activate when those not keyed into them use magic. A loud alarm suddenly blared and the entry way into the little library shut, panic set as he looked at the closed entrance, forcefully calming himself he remembered he had a way to disable the alarms, however he has to find it first.
 
 So began the frantic search as he used charms to detect where it was hidden, after a few attempts he found it disguised as one of the books, "flaws" looking at the list he started dismantling it and after a few seconds the alarms stopped. However, he knew someone would have been notified and would most likely be on the other side of the door. Approaching the door, he cast a few spells on it, these included those that would make sure the door doesn't open for anyone for at least another 10 minutes, afterwards he began dismantling the anti-apparition and elf wards "whoever owns this really went through the extra mile to make sure nothing slips in".
 
 Not waiting for another minute he calls Twinky "get me out of here" and with a pop they were gone. 15 minutes later a group of people managed to get into the room, wands raised they scanned the room casting *Homeo Revelio* in case the intruder was under invisibility, yet the results showed that there was no one there. "Look around and make sure nothing's missing, we don't know what tripped the alarms!" One of the men, a short balding man barked as the rest of the group went to check if anything was stolen.
 
 "Nothing seems to be missing Mr Blotts" another man in the group reported, Mr Blott snorted while growling "check again, I want to know what set off the alarms and how anyone got passed the protections, and I want to know now!" Walking through the near empty camp was peaceful and she hums softly making her way to the library on the directions of a guard. Next left and it should be… 

"Here..." she says turning the corner coming to a stop, eyes widening and the beautiful wooden cottage like structure before her… "waw…" The architecture reminded her of the cottages in the village she grew up in and she couldn't help but smile as the nostalgia washed over her. Vines crawling along the infrastructure, twining themselves around it making the building look almost magical. The pastel coloured flowers lining the raised bed around the foundation, attracting butterflies to its abundance. 

"It's beautiful is it not…" She turns, meeting the warm smile of Retainer Qui and she couldn't help but mirror his emotions. It was the truth after all.

"It is. Reminds me of the cottages from my village. The flowers are similar to ones mother planted." Moon says returning her gaze to building.  

"Young Master Wei, planted these himself." The pride in his voice shone through and she could tell how much he respected Wei Zitao.

"Really?!" She exclaims looking at the Retainer in shock. She couldn't picture Zitao actually toiling away in the soil or even planting the flowers but at the same time she couldn't help but smile at the mental image in her head of him doing exactly that. 

"The flowers were his mother's favourite. This is his private library." 

"... why… why are you telling me this…?" At her question, the older man chuckles softly, his eyes meeting hers as though searching for something, after seeming rather content with what he finds he smiles, heading throws the door. 

"I wonder? You look like a good kid. He could use a good person by his side. Plus, I've never seen the Young Master smile as he did today…" 

"Why are you two just stood out here? Are saying unnecessary things again Qui?" At the suddenness of his voice, she flinches momentarily looking between him and Retainer Qui, his firm gaze studying his Retainer and she couldn't help but chuckle at the display before her.

"Is there something funny Young Master Moon?"

"Nope." She replies cheerfully her grin widening. Rolling his eyes he steps past them into the library, moving to the desk near the back wall.

"I'm guessing that's for me, yes?" He says once he's sat, motioning to the box and and two scrolls Retainer Qui held in his hands. Nodding his response he steps forward placing them on the desk before stepping back. 

"Thank you. Was everything settled then?" 

"Uh…" Qui looks nervously from Moon to Wei and Moon smiles in understanding moving to step out of earshot. 

"It's alright. You can speak." Stopping in her tracks she stares in confusion at Wei Zitao as Retainer Qui speaks up. 

"It appears Master Fangs eldest son indeed went to Hu Bian city sir and he returned this morning." Her eyes widened  at the mention of her brothers name and she stares at Zitao in bewilderment. 

"What…" 

"Would you say your cousin Fang Yuk Hei is the studious type Moon?"

"Huh…?" she stares at him, her brows creasing as she takes in his question, "I haven't really spent time with my cousins but…" She hesitates looking from Qui to Zitao. 'What's this about?'

"But?"

"I suppose, I wouldn't. He was barely ever home since I moved here and when he was Uncle would normally be scolding him for going to b…" Her cheeks flush at the thought and Zitao stares at her knowingly causing her to flush even more. 

"Brothels." Nodding her response she avoids his intense gaze, fixing her gaze on her shoes. 'Please don't stare at me.'

"I see. Well, then. Thank you Qui, you're dismissed," he nods at Retainer  Qui who bows in understanding before leaving, smiling kindly at Moon on his way out, "you…" Zitao says turning to stare at her, "by the way you speak you're highly educated are you not?" 'I suppose that's all I get to know.'

"I'd like to think so Master Wei." She replies confused by his question. 

"Then can I count on you to sort out the self at the back please," he says nodding towards the back of the library, "I was looking for something and made quite a mess."

"Of course. Do I sort but author or publication date?"

"Author please, thank you." Nodding her understanding she makes her way in the direction he'd indicated nearly falling over as she stomps her toe on a pile of scattered books on the floor. 

"Ouch…! Hey! Did you have a war back where with these books!" She shouts, looking at the pille dumbfounded. 

"Please don't yell Moon, this is a library." He replied nonchalantly and she rolls her eyes getting to work, first, stacking all the books on the floor into neat piles to make it easier to move about. Once that was complete, she seats herself against the opposite self and begins sorting the books as requested, the minutes ticking by quietly the only noise to be heard were the shuffling of pages as she sorted the books and the occasional grinding of ink from the corner where he sat. The essence that was lit feeling the entire room with a calming natural scent as and smiles as the scent washes over her. 

After what seemed like an eternity, she finally places the final book on the bottom self, sinking to the floor in exhaustion. Sighing, she leans back, staring up at the ceiling. 

"Books always smell so calming… why is sorting them so tiring though?" she moans to herself, eyes roaming along the books on the self before her, "hmm… sweets…" Picking up the book she scans over the first page at the list of sugar desserts eyes stopping on the sugar biscuits and she flips through the pages before finding the specific page, soft sketches of star designed biscuits floating along the page.

"... pretty…" stifling her yawn she continues to stare at the page. 

"...on… Moon…" moaning she shakes the hand of her shoulder but the shaking continues and her eyes opening slighty, the soft glow next to her illuminating the face above her, "... hmm… Zitao…" His eyes smile down at her and she smiles back up briefly before awareness of where she is washed over her and she sits up abruptly their foreheads colliding against each others. Shrieking she falls back into the cushioned make shift bed he'd prepared for her, groaning as her hands massage the pain away.

"...pfftt…" Breaking the silence Zitao burst into a fit of laughter, tears streaming down his cheeks as he holds his sides, his shoulders shaking violently… deja vu…

"Is giving me a concussion funny Zitao?" She asks, frowning at his in annoyance, her lips pouting slightly. This however only makes him laugh harder and she punches his arm.

"Sorry… but your face was just too cute…" he double takes clearing his throat, before getting up and returning to the table, "It's almost time for the gates to close, your friends should be back by now so you're free to leave." He says his voice monotone, his eyes not meeting hers. 'He… he's avoiding me…' Getting up she moves to the table standing in front of Zitao not moving. 

"What?" He sighs, finally looking up at her. 

"Zitao…" She says his name as though searching and he sighs again.

"What…?"

"Why aren't you punishing me… I called you by your name three times…" His eyes widen as though he'd only just realised and she stares at him in silence. Closing his eyes he inhales before meeting Moons earnest gaze.

"What do you wish to ask me Moon?"

"Why… why are you so kind to me? Even at the Lings mansion you…" Her voice trails off as he gets up rounding the table to stand before her. There was a fondness in his eyes as he stared at her, the corners of his lips curling into a warm smile and her breath catches in her throat. His ice blue eyes were anything but cold as he looked at her and she wondered how this man saw her. He'd never questioned her gender like everyone else and had always addressed her as Young Master or Moon, but, did he know…?

"...hmmm… I wonder…" his hand reaches up, his thumb caresing her cheek, pointer finger on her ear, "I've never met a Young Master quite like you… you fascinate me Fang Moon… and as you wished, I too, wish to meet the real you someday…" she gasps softly, her breath catching at his words. 'Does he know?!' 

Stepping forward his warm lips touch her forehead sending waves of warmth through her being crashing against every wall she'd ever built up, yet somehow, she felt safe. Without warning her knees gave way and his arms circle her waist as he steadies her. 

"... steady now Moon…" He says softly staring down at her and she's almost overwhelmed by the emotion she sees in there. '... who is this man…?'

"... who are you…?" Smiling, he peeks her cheek, his lips moving to her ear, his warm breath tickly her lobe and she shivers, stifling back her moan. 

"Who do you think I am?"

"Are you… do you like men…?"

"I wonder? I don't discriminate. Now, tell me Young Master Moon, who are you?" Chuckling, he nips her lobe, his tongue licking the sore section and she moans; melting into his touch.

"... I… Moon…"

"Mhmm. And do you like men, Moon?"

"... uh-huh… I like you…" He chuckles again, kissing her neck and it's then that realization strikes like a punch to the gut. 'You idiot!' Shrieking she jumps away, her hand touching the place he'd just kissed, her face the epitome of embarraasement. The wicked grin that spread across his face made her even more flushed and she looks at everything in the room but him. 

"... Zitao… I mean… Master Wei… I don't… I…" Chuckling he moves to sit again: leaning back, one leg bent beneath him the other angled upright, his arm slung across his knee, eyes trained on her. 

"You are always so cute when flustered Young Master Moon." The way he says Young Master makes her flinch and she shallows nervously. 

"... I… don't tease me…" 

"How could I not tease you when this is the result?" He says smirking, a look of satisfaction playing along his face. Rolling her eyes she straightens up, fixing her robe and looking him dead in the eye. 'I am not losing to you. You sadist.'

"Is this why you're nice to me? For sport?"

"If it was merely a sport you would know. However, the fact that you like… men… is a rather satisfying win on my part. Wouldn't you say so, Young Master Fang." Huffing she stares at him in annoyance before turning to leave the library. 

"Goodnight Master Wei!" 

"No shouting, Moon-er, this is a library." He chuckles teasingly and she stomps out of the library her face even more flush the heat radiating throughout her entire body. 

'Stupid Wei Zitao!'

Moon is mistakenly taken for a guy when she goes to seek amends for her cousins wrong doing as ordered by her uncle under the pretence of being a sibling. Knowing she was sent to take the blame and humiliation she swallows her pride and chooses to do as is told to survive. However, at the gathering she must attend she’s spotted by a young man - none other than the man her sister fought for - who takes a liking to her… or him? As a result she’s told to take the upcoming military exams and after learning of his background it is impossible to turn him down. Entering the dangerous world of power and love she most not only navigate herself wisely to survive but she most steel her heart to that of her handsome new Yong Master, who’s rather cunning… who seems to really detest women… or does he...

In order to fit into the local custom and not show any difference from others, Yu Banshan and Qi Jinxiu did not reject it and took the Great Mountain Sect Recruitment Brochure. Then, they rushed into the city and looked for a quiet alley before reading it carefully, thereby confirming the language and writing of the Celestial World were similar to their own.
"Our sect has a long history, starting from the external inheritance of the third generation ancestors of the Sword-Enshrining Tower, and has a good relationship with all the major forces... our sect is very strong, with fifteen strong external realm experts, including one guru. "After the exterior realm is Dharmakaya, and only till this level can one be ranked on the celestial list. It is called Man Immortal in Taoism but Arhat in Buddhism."
Yu Banshan put down the book in his hand, moved to the side of Qi Jinxiu, and read the description of the realm together.

Even though he knew he was going to attend Hogwarts, he still couldn't contain his excitement. 

From what he knew, his family members have not attended Hogwarts in last 7 centuries. they were all homeschooled because of their 'little blood problem'. In the wizarding world, people have not witnessed the Blest family over centuries. Only the upper circle of the sacred twenty-eight knew about the existence of The noble and most ancient house of Blest. 

the motto of his family was 'illustrant ac tenebras', meaning 'illuminate the darkness'. 

The Blest family was wholly on the side of light. But not the faux light that Dumbledore commanded.They always faught against darkness, which was slowly beginning to expand in the world. 

Morgana was a witch who called upon the dark element in the world, though she used powers of darkness to their full extent to commit atrocities, she never allowed darkness to corrupt herself. Dark Lord Grindelwald was a wizard whose talents equalled Merlin's, even he had brains to not let darkness corrupt him.The only reason for Grindelwald's defeat was that he was not able to fully utilize his talents to their maximum potential, giving Dumbledore a chance at killing him.But Voldemort was a total shithead, in his pursuit of immortality, he gave himself up to darkness, allowing himself to be controlled by darkness. 
Darkness had only one goal, to take over the world. And by losing himself to darkness, he became an apostle of darkness. Though he gained unimaginable powers, he became a pawn in hands of darkness. 

But because of the creation of multiple hocruxes Voldemort lost a great deal of his combat prowess for a period of time, which was enough for him to get killed by a baby in crib. 

Michael somehow knew that the Voldemort in this world was far stronger than his movie counterpart. 

But this only ignited a flame of excitement inside him, because he knew he was also going to be very strong due to help of a certain someone.

Keeping the letter aside he sent the owl back. 

"mom" he called out to his mother who was sitting by the fireplace, reading the newspaper. 

"yes" she replied. 

"can you come here, I have something to show you" he said. 

with a "coming", she kept the newspaper aside, stood up and walked up to him. 

" so, what did you call me for ?? "

"mom, I received the Hogwarts acceptance letter" he said in an excited voice. 

" So, you finally got yours huh kid, tell me, do you want to attend it ?? your father didn't, and I am sure I can arrange for the best private tutors in the whole Europe for you. do you want to attend it ?? tell me honestly. "

"yeah mom, I am sure, it'll be fun, I'll get to make lots of friends" he said with a smile. 

seeing the happy smile on his face she could not help but smile back. Michael was her whole life. after death of her husband, Michael meant everything to her. 

"so get ready my boy, we'll go to diagon alley tomorrow morning to get you a wand and the school material" she said while ruffling his hair. 

" Mooooommm, please don't do that now, I have grown up. " he said in a ranting voice. 

" You'll always remain a brat for me. " while pinching his cheeks. 

with a small cry, he gave up, he knew that it would be easier to defeat Voldemort than stop his mom now. 

He was feeling very happy today, it was his birthday, today he got a wand, a heart warming party, the acceptance letter from the place he desired to go from the moment he got in this world. 

To him, his family was the biggest gift he could have asked for.

Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

After going through the letter once, Nicole looked at her brother and asked

"Brother, what do you know about these two who are mentioned in the letter, Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall?".

"The general introduction is that both of them are the most ingenious wizards of their generations and if you want to know more I will lend you a book and you can read about them" Alex replied while taking out all the things they have shopped today.

After listening to her brother, Nicole kept the letter aside and unfolded the second piece of paper which contained the list of the necessary supplies they needed in their first year. As she went through the supplies her interest piqued at almost every other item mentioned in the list.

"Brother where can we buy these things in London? I don't think those wizards would set up a store in broad daylight" after going through the list, Nicole looked at her brother.

"Well you are right they won't sell it on the streets of London, there is a place where we can find all these things, it is called Diagon Alley" Alex replied while trying out the clothes he bought today.

"So when will we go there? Let's go there tomorrow" Nicole was too excited to wait another day what her brother showed her today was simply marvellous.

"Do you have the money to buy anything?" without looking at her Alex asked.

"Don't you have any money left? You should have told me about it earlier, I would not have spent so much on your clothes. Let's return your clothes tomorrow" Nicole panicked at first but soon came up with a plan to get the spent money back.

Alex was dumbfounded by his sister's shamelessness and looked at the bags in the room. On one side there were more than ten bags while on his side there were merely four bags.

"They don't use our currency, they have Knuts, Sickle and Galleons" Alex explained to her.

"Ohh..., so how are we going to buy our books and equipment?" Nicole was too happy today but these small obstacles are ruining her mood.

"Well the man we talked about earlier gave me some for myself but I doubt that will be enough now," Alex told her finally.

"Brother, why are you being an idiot and telling the details in parts can't you just say it in one go?" listening that they have the money and her brother was messing around with her, she snapped at him.

"Young lady we may be twins but I am the older one you better show me some respect," Alex said while flicking Nicole's forehead.

"Ahh.. okay... okay I am sorry but now since we have the money when will we go to the 'Diagonally'?" rubbing her forehead she asked again.

"Firstly it's not diagonally it's Diagon Alley and secondly for all the muggles or orphans who show aptitude in magic, a teacher is assigned to help them buy their supplies, we need to wait for him or her to show up" Alex explained while setting his clothes in the cupboard. 

"Ohh..."

"Now why don't I give you some books so that you can familiarize yourself with the World of wizards and witches?" sitting beside Nicole, Alex asked.

"Yeah show me all the books you have read all these years" regaining the spirits she asked.

"Are you sure? There are quite a lot of books stored inside this bag" Alex asked with a faint smile.

"Well bring it on," Nicole said while rolling up her imaginary sleeves.

"As you wish" as he finished speaking a mountain of books were placed in front of Nicole.

"This..." Nicole was startled for a moment if her brother read all these books he must be a genius.

"Why don't we go through the basics" except for a few books Alex put away all the others.

"Have you read all of them?"

"Except for those two on the desk I have read all the books at least once," Alex said pointing towards the last of the books left unread from his collection.

"Where did you get them from?"

"Guess?"

"The man in black?" Nicole said to which Alex nodded.

"Isn't he too generous to us? Is there something else you are not telling me?" Nicole asked suspiciously.

"You will find it in due time now focus on those books and start with this one" Alex said while giving her a book to avoid the topic.

Soon Nicole started going through the book 'A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot' and was completely immersed in it and from time to time would ask Alex a thing or two.

Soon a week passed and one of the most playful children of the orphanage, Nicole was rarely seen these days.

Like any other day, both Alex and Nicole were in their room when their door was knocked.

"Alex someone is here to see you" the head nun called out for them from outside.

"Coming"

Alex took all the books scattered around and stuffed them in the cupboard. He has already told Nicole to act as if they don't know anything about magic and act all surprised.

Opening the door Alex first nodded towards the head nun and then looked towards the lady standing beside her questionably.

"Well I will take it from here, thank you," the lady said to the head nun.

"Okay" nodding her head the head nun left.

As the lady entered the room she looked around for a while, finally settling her gaze on Nicole.

"Sorry to intrude suddenly, I am Minerva McGonagall the deputy headmistress of Hogwarts, I believe a letter was delivered to you," Minerva said in a very calm and elegant ladylike manner.

"Yes we received the letters but didn't know what to make of them, there was nothing mentioned about where the school is or where to buy the school supplies from or any kind of telephone number for assistance. You guys even asked us to reply by 31st of July but there was no address mentioned to deliver don't you think the letter was a bit less informative? by the way is it alright for the Deputy Headmistress to come on her own to meet the students?" Nicole bombarded a series of questions criticising the school.

"Nicole," Alex said with a deep tone.

"No it's alright, I guess we can certainly change a few things according to miss Ashbridge's suggestions and as for me coming here, it's because there were two students from the same place which is quite rare so it needed more attention" not losing her composure in the slightest Minerva replied.

"So what's so great about your school?" Nicole asked again.

"Nicole" this time Alex was a bit angry, in front of them was one of the greatest witches in the magical world and his sister was acting like a brat. Seeing the seriousness on Alex's face Nicole finally shut up.

"I apologise on behalf of my sister" Alex apologised while slightly bowing his head towards Minerva.

"Its alright students tend to ask questions on their first meeting" Minerva was impressed by the boy's calm and respectful manners.

"Well since young you might have noticed certain abnormalities around you. Things happen which you can't explain when you are emotionally distressed like when you are extremely angry or sad. They all happen because you used magic subconsciously. We at Hogwarts teach you to control it and use it effectively, except for that we are no different from any other school" Minerva explained turning towards Nicole.

"Why don't you show us some tricks?" not able to keep quiet for long Nicole asked once more.

"They are not tricks miss Ashbridge but real magic" listening to the little girl even Minerva was losing composure, she needed to teach the girl some manners.

"Wohh.... put me down. Please put me down" with a snap of her fingers Minerva made Nicole float in mid-air.

"So what do you think about getting admitted to our school?" placing the girl back on the bed she turned towards Alex.

"What you said make sense but we are orphans we don't have the means to support ourselves to go to a normal school let alone do schooling in some, one in the world kind of school" Alex expressed his difficulties.

"Well, we are not the only magic school in the world but leaving that aside we will provide the school fees throughout the seven years you and your sister study there. You just need money to buy your school books and equipment" now she wanted Alex very badly, in such a situation he was calm, respectful and addressed his difficulties, the boy has great aptitude to become a leader.

"We will go" not waiting for her brother to reply Nicole pitched in.

Looking at his sister and then towards miss McGonagall Alex just nodded.

"Very well then let's go and get you your supplies," Minerva said while standing up and walking towards the door.

"Wait let me change," Nicole said while grabbing her clothes and walking towards the bathroom.

"Let me grab some money I am sure you must have some kind of currency exchange system for people like us" saying this Alex went towards the cupboard and secretly put three neatly packed bundles of notes in his pocket. He was not too rich but was pretty well off for someone his age as he has saved around thirty thousand pounds over the years.

Soon the trio left the orphanage.

It's been three weeks since I bought my new house and Grace has been coming over fairly often to help me with the crops in the space.

It took a while but with Grace's help we increased the size of our gardens in the space and we can know grow 20 pounds of watermelon and 15 pounds of carrots even seven days and while we increased the turnips output to 30 pounds every 5 days unfortunately the only super crop that we got is another turnip. Not going to lie it was pretty hard work mostly because I had to do all the planting myself, I'm really hoping that I can find a gardener for the space or better yet upgrade the Space and hope that I will become semi-automatic like Zhao Hai's Space. 

We discovered after some trial and error that if you water the crops at least once a day it increases the chance of growing superior crops.

Why might you ask have we not bought anything from the Shop yet well that's because we have absolutely zero system points which mean there was nothing we can buy from the store even if we want to. It took a while but we found a way to earn points by selling crops to the Shop. I have to say at this point I'm starting to think the Space is my best ability as it has given the most befits so far and it's at its still at lowest level. It's like the Space ability was tailor made to go along with the Shop. 
Before long, it starts to get late so I see Grace off for the day. When she leaves, I go back into the space and sell off all of the superior crops and most regular crops minus what I use when cooking. After selling all the crops I look at how many system points we managed to get these past weeks and see we managed to get a grand total of 3657 system points. As it turns out superior crops sell for a lot of more than regular crops. Opening up the Shop I look through the categories.

Thinking about what I need the most right now I move my way to the skills tab and open it. Going down the list finally I find the skill I wanted.

With this skill I'll get an increase when I learn just about any fighting style that uses either fist, kicks, holds, or cold weapons. While each martial art has its own skill, I decided that it would be better to buy the all in one version of the skill instead of buying each martial art separately.

After buying the skill, I close the store and open the Status Menu.

Looking over the Status Menu I'm happy to find out that its final looks like my stats are starting to build. Looks like the field work in the space has increased most of my physical stats while I'm guessing reading books in the school library and the puzzle app on my phone has increased my mental stats. With the new Martial Arts skill as long as I work hard my physical stats should increase drastically. 

Testing out my new skill I recall some of the stances I read in the library about Krav Maga. Krav Maga is a military self-defense and fighting style focusing on offense that's basic principles are to hit hard and hit fast, target vulnerable areas of the body, use any objects at hand to your advantage, and maintain awareness of the surroundings even when victory is at hand.

When I was looking into different fighting styles Krav Maga stood out the most for offensive fighting styles while Tai Chi stuck out in the defensive fighting style category for its ability to use the opponent's own strength against them.

My plan is to learn both of these two martial arts and try to combine them. To be honest I kind of thinking that I should level up the Library ability rather than the Space ability first. Just on the off chance that I unlock the compile or flaw detection ability that Zhang Xuan library has.
After two hours of intense training pass, I get notification. Pausing my training session, I stop to read the notification.

Before long I finish reading the notification, I decided to check up on the gardens before leaving the pace.

 When I leave Space, I make my way to the shower because to be honest I feel gross I think I need to invest in a cleaning skill or lifestyle magic if I ever get any MP.

Once I'm out of the shower and changed I make myself something to eat while I look through the Shop and start to make a shopping list for when I have enough system points. By the time I finish eating I already have a list of things from the Shop that I think are essential. The first item is a Pack of Skill Transfer Cards.

If I get these cards, I can buy skills from the shop and then transfer those skills to Grace. The second thing on my shopping list is the ability Void End which the protagonist Han Lang used in the Galactic Dark Net series that allowed him to cancel all powers within a certain range of himself. Because Han Lang ability canceled out everyone's powers, he had to tempered his physical body to its peak so that instead of a battle of powers that were common in this universe it turned into a battle of strength, durability, and skill instead.

After going through the shop these three items and abilities are the ones that seem to have the most value to my current self. 

While I can't be completely sure I'm almost one hundred percent positive that the supernatural is real. The longer I thought about it the more it made sense if my mom could get such amazing items even if others don't have a system like I do I'm sure that they could have items at the legendary rank.
