Alex sat having a bowl in hands with steam rising from it. He took the fresh bread given by Lily's mother before setting off. Even if it wasn't the softest bread he had eaten but definitely the tastiest one. He could feel the love and care from the one who baked the bread. 

Pamela didn't object her daughter from traveling far neither she was happy about it. She clearly felt sad to see her daughter away from her but knew Lily would be safer on Alex's hands than she would on her side. Yesterday, she asked Lily's grandparents to come to stay with her but they clearly rejected and stayed looking after the restaurant. Alex knowing that sent a couple of servants to look after them and help them in work. So Pamela wasn't worried about them but felt lonely knowing the people who loved her aren't around her anymore.

Alex might have taken her together but the carriage couldn't spare an extra person to travel together and they didn't have enough beast to add another carriage.

Alex ate while reminiscing his whole life inside the large mansion. He felt various emotions causing the others to look at him with concern.

Mir as she was inside his mental space, she could feel his emotions.

"Alex after hearing the news of his family on earth has changed. Now he totally became like a different person, not the person he was before his death nor the original owner of his body. It feels like he totally accepted both of him." Mir said to Coco.

"Memories and minds are mysterious things. They might seem trivial but they actually shape the way the World works." Coco commented on the side. Mir's face flashed an expression of enlightenment but quickly hid before Coco noticed them.

*Awooooooo* loud howl from a beast woke Alex from his thoughts. 

"It's coming from the directions where the mounts went." the voluptuous maid panicked looking at the spirit mark etched on a stone.

"What happened? Why is the sound of a beast heard at this hour?" Princess Noel panicked as well from the loud sound.

"Big brother, I am afraid!" Lily got afraid and hugged Alex with tears in her eyes.

"It's fine. Don't be afraid. Big brother will take care of this monster." Alex assured her with a smile.

Alex wasn't afraid but panicked because the loss of the beast will cost them a year extra traveling. He was fully confident of his powers and wanted to test his Divine Mammoth bloodline.

"You guys wait here, I'll go and check," he said to the girls and took off without letting them voice their concern.

"Wait...." Shouted Rose but Alex was already disappeared from their eyes.

Feeling the powers in his legs he was ecstatic. This is the first time he felt releasing the power of his physique. The power was coursing like thunder in his veins. Every step he took propelled him 100 meters with a second. That is 223 miles per hour speed. He blasted through the thick tree like it was a patch of grass.

Within half a minute, he reached the spot. In front of his eyes, there was an 18 ft tall wolf standing with the mount beast kneeling on the ground with shivering body.

It was the Demonic King of the forest which severely wounded his father.

The demonic wolf looked menacing at Alex who arrived at the spot. Hot air blown from its nose and eyes stared daggers at Alex. Alex also looked at the huge wolf and found it matching the description of the beast attacked his father. Alex stared at the beast for a second because he could sense intelligence coming from the eyes of the wolf. The wolf also seems to sense the threat coming from Alex's body from its instinct. 

The Demonic wolf left the two low laying beasts and dived towards Alex in full speed. Alex was surprised by the speed of the wolf but was quick enough to dodge the incoming razor sharp nails. The Wolf was surprised to see the little human actually dodged its straight dive. 

Its eyes shined for a second looking at Alex like it was expecting something. In Alex's eyes, it looked like the Wolf was looking at him like he was delicious food.

Feeling offended he tightened his fist and flew straight towards the wolf by blowing off dust from the place he stood. Dirt and stones flew on the opposite direction, scaring off the two beasts to making its escape in the other direction.

Looking at Alex's speed the eagerness in the eyes of the wolf grew. It quickly countered his fist with its tail using Alex's momentum against him. Inexperienced Alex fell straight into the ground creating a small crater on the ground.

The eyes of the wolf had a mocking expression like it was disappointed and expected much from him. Alex stood up with the expression of pain and confusion. 

The beast in front of him wasn't an ordinary beast rather a very intelligent one. But he was confused the eyes of the wolf didn't show any hostility or killing intent. More like it was playing with him. It totally changed from the before where it looked hostile filled with killing intent and now filled with intelligence belonging to the higher species.

Alex quickly used his lesser Pheonix bloodline and blasted a fire towards the wolf. The wolf was taken aback by the sudden fire attack and the blast hit on the center of its body.

"Hehe..." Alex smirked at the wolf for getting his payback. He controlled his flame to not to kill the beast but injure it heavily because it didn't try to kill him either. 

He looked at the scene of flame engulfing the body of the wolf but soon the next scene left him dumbfounded. 

The seemingly normal wolf suddenly blasted off energy waves from its body putting off the Pheonix fire like it was nothing.

Alex stood at the spot with his mouth open and looked at the spot where his blast him but there wasn't any wound or single scratch. It looked spotless as it looked before. But the only thing changed was the expression of the wolf.

The Demonic Wolf madly howled looking at Alex with a furious expression. It didn't look like the wolf was mad for blast fire on its body but for something else.

Alex suddenly felt his instinct screaming him to run and escape from the woods. 

Suddenly the wolf which was fast now moved very fast. It moved at a lightning speed and arrived near Alex before he could blink. 

With a slap on his face, he was sent flying like a missile thrown far away from their spot. 

Inside his mind, Mir and Coco were surprised.

"Is that beast what I think it is?" Coco said while Mir was busy checking Alex's condition.

Thanks to his Houtian physique, he was able to escape death from the claws of death. He was surprised, How could there be a being powerful than him in this kingdom? He heard from his father that there wasn't anyone capable of rivaling him now. If there was any hiding they probably wouldn't come to light.

He clearly felt a change in power from the beast's body like it was suppressing its power on the beginning.

But before he could get up another attack straight on the middle of his head sent his face first to the ground. The demonic beast went berserk for some reason. It kept pounding again and again like it was taking out all its frustration on him.

Alex was shrieking in pain from all the wounds. But he was healing fast as he was wounded. His Elvin blood kicked in and saved him. Otherwise, he would have died from internal bleeding of his organs. The cracked bones were healing at a considerable rate making the wolf retreat in confusion.

It looked at the little human who was tougher to kill than a cockroach. It felt annoyed and jumped straight to his left hand with its mouth first and bite off his whole hand.

*Arghhhhhhhhh.....* Screams of hell resounded through the jungle.

Alex was struggling in the ground with his other hand trying to stop the blood squirting off from his shoulders.

"Do you think we should help him now? There is no way he would win against this beast." Coco was nervous looking at the shrieking Alex.

Alex was in miserable pain and shock. Missing an arm for the time will leave an unforgettable feeling on anyone. 

Mir shook her head, "No if we save him now, then he will keep expecting us to save him every time. It will do no good to his growth and you don't need a person like this to fulfill the prophecy you were saying, right?" and said.

"But.." Coco wanted to refute but Mir added, "Even if he dies let him be. We could say that the prophecy was wrong and I won't have anything to do in this Universe where I might even let him return to earth, with your help."

Coco was silent for a bit and made a decision. She felt what Mir said was right. If Alex were to die here then it was his mistake. He shouldn't have left without making a proper decision and jumped into danger like a fool. She might excuse herself to save him in some situations but this is not it. 

She watched him screaming but Alex suddenly stopped and looked at the Wolf with his eyes turned pitch black.

The Wolf was taken aback but Alex's sudden reversal. The demonic Wolf felt terror looking at the pitch black eyes which seemed like an endless void ready to suck it in. With the expression of terror, the Wolf fled a distance away from him and looked at him with fear.

"Is he turning into a demon again?" Coco was anxious.

"No, thankful he's still in conscious. Looks like only a little part of the bloodline was unsealed." Mir replied.

Alex stood up with rage he never felt like he could control. He felt the urge to skin the wolf with his bare hands and gulp down its raw meat in his throat then only his rage could subsidize. But unlike his previous self, he could control himself to some extent.

Slowly, the blood clotted on his left shoulder leaving only the wound closing itself up. He felt the adrenaline rushing through his body stopping the pain temporary.

Alex decided that he will never leave unless he skins the beast alive. With a bust of power, he propelled himself from the ground and with a leaping moment arrived near the Wolf and sent a blasting punch with the Pheonix fire on the top of its head.

Unlike before he didn't hold back his powers. He was ravaging the beast head with repeated punches like a maniac. The Demonic wolf was gotten by surprise hence it couldn't react to his punches. 

*Awooooooo* The wolf screamed in pain.

Alex leaking a little bit of Nethergate Demon blood was enough to boost his powers to another level, but still, all his attacks only left a shallow wound or rather a scratch on its head.

"What the f***? What is this beast's skin is made of?" Alex shouted in frustration. Even with him going full on he only left a scratch on its skin.

The demonic Wolf in pain forgot about the fears and started giving back the punches. Alex wasn't foolish like he was before so he tried to dodge all the attacks skillfully. The straight confrontation with the Wolf only left some scratches on his skin but it soon healed leaving no scars.

The Wolf was starting to get annoyed, it was contemplating why it started attacking this human. While Alex was getting ready to unleash his trump card.

"Divine Mammoth's scripture, First stance Collapsing Star." Alex unleashed his divine bloodline with golden aura spread like a smoke covering both Alex and the Wolf.

He stomped his feet on the body of the Wolf with the might of the divine bloodline. A shadow of a Golden Mammoth appeared behind him. When his feet landed on the back of the Demonic Wolf it felt a crushing pressure trying to squash it to death. 

A large crater formed on the place where the Demonic beast stood. The Whole place was covered in a fog of dust with surrounding trees and plants broken into pieces from the pressure. The scene looked like a bomb dropped in the middle of the jungle from an aircraft.

The shockwave from the aftermath was sent beyond a kilometer mark. Birds and Animals left the place like they were escaping a disaster.

Alex looked at the crater full of dust blinding his eyes from viewing the condition of the Wolf. He believed the Wolf must be a meat paste now. The Divine Scripture appeared in his mind when he woke up from his coma. But feeling the might of the bloodline he didn't try to practice it. But now looking at the aftermath of his attack he was excited and proud. He even forgot the missing arm.

The girls looked at the dust cloud from at a kilometer distance and started panicking. With the suggestion from the Voluptuous maid, they quickly dashed towards the area to look at whether Alex got himself in danger. The trio quickly arrived leaving only the flat chested maid and Lily at the camp.

*Boom* A blast wave originating from the center of the crate threw Alex a couple of feet back. While he was trying to balance himself he looked at the scene where the source of the blast happened. But the scene was one which he will never forget in his life.

The Wolf was getting very desperate after not finding anything for one more hour. He cursed his luck for not finding anything. Yes, he was cursing his luck. He found out that he knew some things since his birth but didn't think about them since he didn't need to think about anything because he had everything he needed,food and water. Well, that was until he had to travel in search for food. 

He finally saw what seemed like a silhouette of a Human.

The Human was female and had a very strong presence. The Human instantly felt the Wolf staring at her and looked back as a result.

The Wolf was only a bit more than a week old, but, he already knew what being he was staring at. It was a female woman, a strong one at that. 

The Woman was relieved when she felt the Wolf not having any malicious intent against her. So, she moved closer to look at the wolf. She was very dumbfounded.

She was dumbfounded because she never saw a Wolf like this one. It was the first time in her life and she knew that she had seen many things in life, but, nothing was as special as this Wolf.

The Wolf had White fur with nine faint small strings of red color Horizontally moving around his body. The small strings were actually moving. They also radiated a strange kind of heat while the white fur was emitting a cold aura.

She moved closer to the Wolf to look into his eyes.

What she saw once again dumbfounded her.

Those eyes were boundless. They had no end to them. They seemed like they would swallow her up if she looked at them any longer than this.

She quickly retracted her gaze and found herself drenched in cold sweat.

It was rare for her to have been that nervous since she even fought whole kingdoms single handedly and still won. She was very fascinated and snapped out of her thoughts when she heard a very loud 'Growl' from the stomach of the Wolf.

She then took her backpack out of the air and, surprisingly, there was food. It smelled very delicious. The Wolf even drooled just by smelling it. 

The Female then said "Eat it, you're hungry, after all." She didn't know why, but, she felt that the Wolf had a very heavy Aura, although small, it was there. Even though it's Aura felt a bit too young to have that kind of presence, it was like this. Also, those eyes.... she truly wondered what kind of Wolf it was.

The Wolf was happily eating since he finally got something to eat. Looking gratefully at the female, he pushed a bit of the food to her direction.

The female laughed "You don't need to share, your stomach clearly isn't full yet". She said this since she was still hearing his stomach Growl every once in a while. She thought things like 'He must have starved for a long time…'

The Wolf began to eat again after hearing her. He found it weird since he could understand, but, not talk with her.

She began to think about the eyes again and found herself sweating cold sweat again. 

But one couldn't blame her. Those eyes seemed like they would be able to kill even deities by just looking at them once, even though the Wolf just looked at her normally, without any killing intention.

She thought that she maybe shouldn't get involved too much with the Wolf. She had a great talent in knowing when to retreat and when to advance. That is why she survived and won against the kingdoms she fought against. 

Her feeling was telling her to run away at her fastest possible speed when she looked into his eyes. She was scared, but, she felt attracted to them. As if they were the eyes of divine beings. She also felt her soul cultivation improving from looking into those eyes.

She didn't know whether to leave the Wolf alone or not.

She saw that the Wolf was already done and subconsciously gave him more to eat. 

She was once again surprised. She was just thinking about something and found herself not being in control of her body for a very short moment.

She thought that this Wolf was very interesting. 

Maybe she thought that the Wolf was too dangerous, since it seemed like he did that to her,  but, he didn't look like he did it. He was just happily eating the food.

However, she confirmed her doubts after the wolf finished his food again. 

The Wolf's eyes were shining brightly before she couldn't control herself again. It looked like he did it without knowing that he controlled a body that was not his.

'This Wolf can be dangerous, but, he doesn't seem evil in the slightest….'

The female was thinking about what to do now. She confirmed that the Wolf could control her with his eyes, but, she didn't know if he could do it like he wished, thus, controlling her to his wishes.

She didn't know whether she would be able to flee or if she would fail at the attempt and enrage the Wolf by abruptly trying to leave.

She decided to leave her food to him and run for it.

She took out all her food "We will need to part ways now, I have to go now" She quickly said those words in case she could say that she would get caught. However, the Wolf just looked gratefully at her. 

The female heard her mind ring and heard a young childs voice saying "Thank you very much for the food, I was starving like never before. I won't forget this debt."

She was shocked to the core. This was already an understatement though, she already started sweating again. She got scared and excited at the thought of the Wolf telepathically talking with her.

The Female looked back into the direction where she met the wolf and only saw his silhoutte from very far away. She had good eyes and saw the Wolf looking into her eyes when she turned around.

She was scared when he looked at her like that and thus decided to run further until she didn't see any trace of him.

She decided to ask her Master about the Creature that looked like a White Wolf with with weird lines moving across his body.

The female was finally reassured enough to write a letter describing the Wolf's features and what happened to her. After she did that, a portal opened and she lay the letter inside. That portal was very small, only the size of an arm. It was opened using a treasure her Master gave her for Notifying him in case of emergency. She also had other treasures but didn't want to use them since they all had a limited amount of times when they could be used. Even the treasure with wich she opened the portal was limited. It was able to open that portal 10 times, and she used it for the first time now. 

This could already tell about the importance she felt about asking her master.

The speed of its charge being slowed due to the influence of the soft mud was one thing, but the ground was also constantly moving the Spirit Wolf backwards.

Faster, faster! Jump!, Mo Fan was standing in the distance, yelling inside frantically.
The quicksand was slow, after all. If the Spirit Wolf increased its speed, it is very possible that it outrun the force of attraction, as the draw would be less than its speed.

It agilely avoided branches, rocks and other obstacles. It looked back to see if it had outrun its pursuers, and the sight gave it a fright.

A white flash of light was closing in at an incredible speed. The flash of light easily surpassed the wolf, and stopped right in front of it. The wolf also stopped.

In front of the wolf was a blue dog with black parts here and there, with blood-red eyes. It was covered in white light that soon faded away. The dog emitted some sort of invisible pressure.

The wolf was completely paralyzed from fear, it's animal instincts were screaming to run away. The dog was intensely staring at it, like he would attack the moment the wolf moved.

The two were simply staring at each other, like time had stopped. The situation stayed like this for twenty seconds until sounds of someone running there were heard.

The wolf showed signs of wanting to flee, but as soon it took the first step, an air(?) projectile hit the ground in front of it, leaving a fist-sized hole. It immediately stopped and fearfully gazed at the dog, who had his arm extended like he just punched the air.

The time that this took to happen was enough for the ones running there to arrive. The new visitors were a red-haired girl with red eyes, and a floating sword with a gem-like eye holding its sheath.

They surrounded the wolf within a triangle formation. The floating sword and the dog walked a distance away, like they wanted the girl to fight the wolf.

In a situation like this where it could not run, the wolf gladly took the chance to fight who it considered the weakest of the enemies, the human in front of it.

Blake got into a sword stance as the wolf aggressively growled at her. Her shield can't properly block attacks from a beast like a wolf, so she kept it in her back.

Blake and the wolf were intensely staring at each other,  both were waiting for their opponent to make a move. Blake's hands were slightly shaking. This is her first fight without anyone's help.

The wolf in front of her was a common beast of this forest, it had strength equivalent of a cultivator in the first stage of the Body Refinement realm.

After ten seconds, the wolf finally lost its patience and attacked first. The fear of Riolu was probably messing with its concentration.

It ran at Blake full of killing intent, a cornered beast is the most dangerous kind of beast. The wolf jumped at Blake's neck, Blake dodged it by sidestepping and tried to counter-attack, but she only managed to make a slight cut on its skin.

The wolf turned directions after landing and immediately jumped at her again while she was still regaining her balance, ignoring the pain of the slash wound.

"F*ck!" Blake was not able to completely avoid the attack, she got scratched by the wolf claws at her arm. Her face slightly contorted from the pain. While it was not the first time she was harmed like this, pain is still pain. She wasn't trained to the point of easily ignoring it.

The human and the wolf were now staring at each other again, the wolf had had a not so deep cut on its abdomen and Blake had three bloody scratch marks on her arm. Blake was even more nervous, their next exchange of blows could be the last.

Blake's eyes suddenly widened.

The wolf jumped at her two times faster than he was earlier! The sudden change of speed caught Blake off guard and she had to time to react.

As she stared at the wolf mouth full of sharp fangs coming right at her neck, she couldn't move. The fear of death paralyzed her for half a second, and that lost her the chance to dodge.

There was no time to swing her sword or get out of the way, staring at the wolf who was coming closer and closer, she immediately released her sword and put her arm in front of her neck.

*BITE*

Two pained screams were heard. The wolf bit Blake's arm, and even though she was feeling immense pain, she punched the wolf with her free hand, which was covered in flames. The wolf was knocked away with a pained groan, it's face on fire as it rolled on the ground.

A white flash of light suddenly ran at the wolf. It was Riolu, who had a white ball of light in his palm. Unlike his usual calm or happy expression, he had a rage-filled face.

*BOOM*

The wolf turned into bloody pieces that flew everywhere as Riolu hit a Force Palm on it. As soon as Riolu heard Blake groan in pain, his rage was gone in an instant, replaced by worry and panic.

"RIOLU! RIOLU!" 

"Honedge!" He rushed over to Blake, and so did Honedge.

"F*cking hell.." Blake was going crazy from the pain. A wolf strongest weapon was its bite, and the one earlier left deep holes on Blake's arm, a lot of blood of coming out of them, Blake could die from blood loss if it stayed like this for long.

The immense amount of pain, and feeling her own hot blood running through her arm, this was enough to traumatize some people.

As Riolu worriedly shook her clothes, she came to her senses and took a potion out of her bag, drinking it. The wound was gone almost immediately, and she felt a lot better now, but she was still traumatized by what happened earlier.

"Riolu..." Riolu sighed in relief seeing Blake well, looking downwards and clenching his fists after that.

Honedge showed some relief as well, but he acted more composed than Riolu. He rarely changed his expression.

As Blake looked at the two, she felt the trauma reducing significantly as she smiled slightly. She could also somehow feel what Riolu was thinking, and she showed an "angry" expression.

"Riolu, look at me." Riolu slowly lifted his head.

"This incident wasn't your fault, this whole idea was mine in the first place." Blake wanted to fight an enemy by herself, to earn battle experience. While she trusted her Pokemon, she also wanted to become strong.

They happened to run into a small pack of three wolves, Riolu and Honedge easily killed two of them, and one of them started to flee. Blake had an idea seeing that, and stopped Riolu from firing an Aura Sphere at it. She told to the two of them to do what they did earlier and this was the start of things.

Riolu didn't seem to be completely convinced, and Blake sighed before sitting down and patting him.

"Look, I know what you feel, but please don't blame yourself for me getting harmed. Seeing you sad also hurts me."

"Riolu!" Riolu completely lifted his head up, and was smiling brightly at Blake like usual. Blake laughed. Even Honedge had a smile on his face.

"Okay guys, time to go home...Huh?" As Blake stood up, she felt like something was different. She felt a little... faster?

"Did I..." Blake thought about something and started punching the air. The more she punched, the happier she became.

"I really did breakthrough!!" She had read a lot on cultivation novels in her old world about how people could have sudden increases of strength on a fight to the death, and this actually happened to her. She was now in the second stage of the Body Refinement Realm!

Riolu, Honedge, and a now very happy Blake headed back to the Scarlet Flame Sect, to rest after a day full of happenings.

I'm currently practicing other kinds of magic at my usual resting spot, on the hill. I haven't really practiced much of any magic, other than heat magic recently. I wonder why?

It's already been a week since Fluffy taught me about the world, Phantasia. His lessons are always enjoyable, and he always answers my questions when I ask him. Fluffy is really nice, isn't he?

When he was teaching me about the different races of people in Librum, I found myself being fascinated by the wide variety. He mentioned a lot of different races, like Humans, Elves, Beastkin, Dwarfs, and so many more! Isn't it cool that there's so many races?

I'm mostly interested in beastkin, though! Fluffy mentioned that beastkin is used to refer to demi-humans with animal or beast traits.

I want to see what the other beastkin look like! Do they look similar to me? I'm a beastkin with a mix of Silverwolf and White Fox traits, though. Fluffy and Tails mentioned that I'm unique since beastkin normally have only one animal's or beast's traits.

Anyway, does that mean there's also rabbit beastkin? Or maybe boar beastkin? What do other wolf and fox beastkin look like? I'm curious!

I'm also slightly interested in humans, too. I was told that I used to be a human for a short period of time. Since that's the case, it's natural that I want to know about humans too, right?

Finding other beastkin still takes priority, though!

I run up to them and hug them as soon as I can. I hug Papa wolf first, and Mama wolf second. It's been so long since I've last hugged them like this... Their fur feels nice to the touch, like always.

(What's wrong, Mimin? To suddenly give us a hug like this...)

(It's nothing, Mama wolf. It just feels like it's been a long time since I spent time with you, and Papa wolf.)

When's the last time I've hugged them anyway? I've been occupied with so many things lately, like learning, hunting, and magic practice...

(How nice of you, Mimin... Actually, we came here today to look for you.)

(What is it, Papa wolf?)

(Are you free today? Do you want to take a walk with us?)

Eh? Where are we going today? Papa wolf is suddenly asking me to go out for a walk together with Mama wolf?

(It's as you said, Mimin. It feels like it's been so long since we've spent time together.)

(Mama wolf... Yes, I'm free today! I'll gladly spend the entirety of today with both of you, Papa and Mama wolf!)

That's right! It doesn't matter where we go today, as long as we get to spend some time together!

We're walking down a path through the forest now. Somehow, there's just a clear path here with little trees in the way, even though this is a dense forest. There's also many tree leaves scattered all over the ground.

Seriously, there's a lot of tree leaves around here! My feet sink into the floor of leaves, going up above my ankles. There's also large piles of leaves here, and some piles of leaves are even larger than I am!

(Do you remember this place, Mimin?)

(Now that you mention it, Papa wolf...-)

I feel strangely familiar with this place, like I've spent a lot of time here before.

(-Have I been here before?)

(You have, when you were two years old. Everyday, you would play with the leaves along this path, and someone always had to watch over you.)

(You were just a small child back then! You would sink into these piles of leaves, or even disappear into the floor! How energetic you were back then...)

Is that so? These leaves do seem like a lot of fun to mess around with.

(You were quite a handful to look after...)

(Look at how much you've grown since then! You grow up so fast...)

I feel a strong urge to jump into all these piles of leaves suddenly. I start throwing the leaves into the air, and the soft edges of the leaves poke my fingers when I touch them.

(Oi! Mimin! Don't disappear on us like that! Papa wolf and I don't want to spend too much time looking for you!)

(It's fine, isn't it? Mimin's too big to disappear into the floor of leaves now, especially her ears and tail. Finding her should be much easier.)

(Hahaha! This is fun!)

Playfully crinkling through the leaves, I feel warm inside me. Being able to spend time again with Papa wolf and Mama wolf is nice...

((Oh? Where is that?))

Both Papa and Mama wolf replied together. Ever since Fluffy's been teaching me, there's one place that I've been somewhat interested in, that I want to see.

(Lindis.)

Eh? Suddenly both Papa and Mama wolf became silent after hearing the place I want to visit.

(What's wrong? Can we not go to Lindis?)

(Well... Mimin, people won't allow beasts to enter cities, and Lindis is no exception.)

(That's right. We can only accompany you until we're nearby, then you have to enter the city by yourself.)

Eh? I didn't want to enter the city, though?

(Not that! I just wanted to see the city. I don't need to go inside!)

(Oh! Then that's fine. Mama wolf and I won't allow you to enter the city by yourself, anyway.)

(We can see the city from this forest, though. Let's go!)

Why did Papa wolf and Mama wolf think that I want to enter the city by myself? Was it the way I said it?

(We can see Lindis from here. It's kind of far away, but it's as close as we can get without being seen by people.)

We're now at the edge of the forest, and just a few steps in front of us is a large, open space with grass everywhere. Lindis can be seen far away, with walls surrounding it. There's an open gate facing this forest from Lindis, with two grey dots beside the gate.

From what I've learned... Those two grey dots must be the guards? That means Lindis is really far away from this forest.

To the west side of Lindis is another forest. That must be the forest with animals and weaker beasts in it. I can't see from here if there's another gate facing that forest.

To the east side is a large amount of buildings, with many different colours of dots moving around slowly in that area. Those must be the people of Lindis, and the buildings must be built by them.

Some of the people are entering and exiting Lindis from that side, so that means there's also an open gate over there. I still can't see the gate, though.

Inside the walls of Lindis, there's multiple buildings that I can't identify from here. One of them must be the guild that I learned about. I can't tell which building is the guild, though.

(So? Have you seen enough yet? We can't stay here for too long, in case we're spotted.)

(Oh, Papa wolf. Yes, I've seen everything about Lindis that I wanted to see. I'm ready to return now.)

We started making our way back to our home. There wasn't much to see about Lindis from this forest, because it's too far away. But I was able to confirm what I have learned from Fluffy, so that's nice.

(What do you think about Lindis?)

(Ah, I don't know... I can only see what Fluffy taught me about Lindis.)

If I can get closer to Lindis, or even enter the city, then maybe I'll get to see more stuff!

(Papa wolf, Mama wolf, can I enter the city so I can see more of Lindis? Ah... But I have to enter alone...)

That's right... Papa and Mama wolf can't enter Lindis together with me...

Suddenly, I start to feel some sort of pain in my chest. Is this... heartache?

I don't want to leave Papa amd Mama wolf. I can't imagine myself being in Lindis without them!

(How about this, Mimin. When you're eight years old, we'll allow you to enter Lindis by yourself. Is that fine?)

(Mama wolf, that's... I want to enter Lindis together with both of you, though! Surely, you'll figure something out! Right? Papa wolf?)

(Haha, that's right, Mimin. We'll find a way to enter Lindis together with you, so wait until you're eight years old, alright?)

(Yes! Thank you, Papa wolf, Mama wolf! It's a promise, then!)

I don't know how they'll enter Lindis, but they said they'll figure something out! I'm just glad that I can enter Lindis with them in the future, so I'm excited for that!

I, Mimin, was found deep in the Forest of Magic when I was a baby.

I was taken in by two different beasts, and they raised me as one of their own.

Born as a human, naturally I was not expected to be able to keep up with the lifestyle of the beasts in the future.

However, soon after being taken in, I somehow grew a pair of ears and a tail, characteristics of a beastkin.

Not just that, I was a beastkin who inherited the abilities of two different beasts.

And thus, I became the only beastkin in the world who has the characteristics of two different beasts.

Ernest move in front of the wolf intercepting it so that it can regroup with its leader.

"Hey, hey, hey… Don't you think it's too cruel for leaving me alone?"

Ernest speaks as he played with his weapon.

"RROOAARR"

"Well, I can't really understand it, but I won't let you go there. So, just give up and play with me a little longer don't you."

No longer waiting for an answer, Ernest start to attack the wolf with his weapon trying to take advantage of the first strike while the wolf still not yet prepared.

"RROOAARR"

The wolf dodges to the side and the start to counterattack Ernest by biting his head. Ernest who saw this, move his staff to block the attack and he kick the wolf on its stomach making it move back.

Ernest then move to attack the wolf head trying to kill it if possible so that he can help Delon.

But, it seems that it's not possible because, although the attack hurt the wolf, the wolf still manage to survive while dodge the attack so that the attack hit its body not hit its head. Ernest hurriedly back off so that he can take a breath for a few seconds. 

Ernest the look at Delon to see his situations, Ernest sees Delon is in quite desperate situation. Ernest sees that Delon is being beat up by the wolf leader, Delon can only defend the wolf leader attack and rarely he himself attacking. Of course Delon try to dodge as much as he can and not taking the attack stupidly.

Seeing this, Ernest start to resolve himself to end his fight quickly, to help Delon fight the wolf leader together.

Ernest then move towards his enemies and start to attack it with his staff. Of course the wolf doesn't just sit there and watch Ernest attack it.

The wolf watching Ernest move towards it, try to bite him while twisting its body to dodge Ernest attack. Ernest can't dodge the attack and got bitten on his shoulder, but that's the part of his plan. 

Because Ernest really sure that if he dodge it he can't kill it quickly and there is one more reason why Ernest do this, is because there is a sword on his waist.

Yes, before he attacks the wolf, he took out the sword in his inventory for this to work. Although Ernest can't use the sword as good as he used staff, but at least he knew how to stab with a sword.
While the wolf still biting his shoulder, Ernest unsheathe the sword and stab it in the neck of the wolf. After that, blood starts to gush out from the wolf neck. 

Without looking if it's dead or not, Ernest hurriedly run towards Delon to help him fight against the wolf leader.

Delon is in struggle now, not only because he failed in his ambush, he makes the wolf leader become angry to him which makes him the sole targets to kill.

Of course it's not a bad idea at first, because with this he can take some pressure from Ernest, at least that's what he thought. But, it makes his situation worse, the wolf leader is much stronger than he was thought. 

Just by standing in front of it, makes Delon scared witless. Delon clearly not a fighter type, he's more into the one who make a strategy, but now he force himself to be a fighter because he know that in this kind of  strategy type than fighter type, so fighting against some strong enemy like this isn't his forte.

But now, he needs to focus with the enemy in front of him. Because if he not, he might dead the moment he lost focus.

Delon then look at Ernest side to see if he can get a help from Ernest. But, it seems like it will take some time for Ernest to help him.

So, Delon bracing himself to hold the wolf leader, at least until Ernest come to help him.
The wolf that really angry right now because not only did someone dare to ambush it, but it also lose some of the subordinates. How can it get to call itself a leader without subordinates?

Now the wolf leader really want to tear this enemy in front of it to pieces so that it can at least gain a little bit of dignity that it have been lost and of course to calm down its own anger.

Delon make a defend stance by using his sword as a shield and waiting for a chance to counter attack if possible.

The wolf starts to move faster towards Delon and start to attack him with his claws. Delon somehow managed to lock it with his sword but, he can't counter attack it because the wolf of course doesn't give him a chance to do so.

When the attack failed, the wolf doesn't fall back and continue to attack Delon by biting his head. 
Delon who saw it coming dodge it by rolling to the side and try to move his body faster to get ready for the next attack.

The battle keep going on and somehow Delon can almost always block the attack of the wolf. 

Although Delon still at the lose side because of the different of the strength, but his main objective is only to stall the wolf leader as long as he can.

Because Delon know it that he can't win against the wolf leader in 1 v 1, so he only needs to make it 2 v 1 with Ernest helping him.

Delon doesn't even think that Ernest would lose fighting against his own enemy, because Ernest have a good skill and Delon know that Ernest at least a better fighter than him.

So, all Delon need is to stall the wolf leader as long as he can.

Delon's body is not without scratch, although he can sometimes block the attack from the wolf leader, but the wound that he got quite serious. He's bleeding from his shoulder, though the wound is not that deep, but Delon still feel it's hurting.

'Think Delon, think. What would those MC from the novel that you read will do in this kind of situation?'

In this kind of situation, Delon suddenly remember that he read many novel and there is definitely a situation similar with his own right now.

After a few minutes thinking, Delon then realize something.

'Oh f#%k, I forgot that the MC in the novel all has plot armor and I don't'

After realizing it, Delon quite panic for a moment but soon calming down. Because he saw that the wolf starts to walks towards him again.

Delon get ready again by making a defense stance with his weapon, but then he saw from the edge of his eyes, Ernest walking towards him. Delon then quickly changes his stance to attacking and quickly moving to attack the wolf.

While Delon attracting the wolf, Ernest then moving faster while readying his staff so that he can attack the wolf quickly, although the wound that he got from the previous battle really serious but he holds it at least until this battle end.

The wolf look at Delon like he's a fool, because he clearly wounded and he still think to attack it just who does he think he is.

So, the wolf not only doesn't dodge or defend itself, but it attack Delon by biting his head. Delon didn't dodge it, instead he tried to cut it with his sword or at least that's what he thought.

*Clank*

But, it only makes a sound that feels like Delon hit steel. Without delay, Delon attack the wolf one more time by slashing his sword towards the wolf.

This time, the wolf dodges it to the side and Delon hurriedly back off because he saw that the wolf moves its claw to attack him.

Delon then give a sign to Ernest so that he can start attacking the wolf.

Ernest saw the sign and attack the wolf with his Staff, he hit the wolf as hard as he can with his weapon which in result break his Staff.

But, what he did is not useless because the wolf got pushed back and there's blood coming from its mouth.

Delon doesn't wait for the wolf to heal up and start to run towards the wolf and attack it.
The wolf watching that Delon running faster towards it tries to move to the side to dodge whatever attack that Delon do.

But, Delon already anticipated it so when Delon move he dash to the side towards the place that the wolf dodge to.

Because Delon knew that he can only do a little to no damage by slashing, so Delon use stab instead to attack the neck of the wolf.

*STAB*

After stabbing the neck, Delon back off hurriedly and take his sword with him. Delon then saw the blood start to gush out form the neck of the wolf.

*THUD*

The wolf fall and finally marks the end of the first fight Delon and Ernest had. The fatigue finally hit Delon and he fall sit on the ground and breathing heavily while Ernest tries to stabilize himself with the help of trees beside him.

Delon really want to swear at Ernest but he doesn't have any energy right now after the fight.
Suddenly Delon shocked with what he's seeing, because right now he see that the wolf corpse start to disintegrate into light and after a few seconds he see that there are something there.

When Delon move there to look at it closer, he saw that there are something that look like silver coin and some bronze coins there is also a shield. 

When Deon saw this he's really shocked, because it means that monsters will drop something when they die and neither the god nor the one that called herself guide tell anything about this even though this one is really important.

Delon then picked those things and bring it with him to show it to Ernest.

"Ernest, look at this. The monster drop something that looks like a coins and there also a shield here."

Ernest who heard Delon seems curious and looks at what Delon bring with him. 

"Well, isn't it normal Delon. Because the god said that this will be a game, so something like this will probably still within the expectation."

"But you see, if they have said it first then it will be much easier for me to make a plan for it. If they told me about it first, I won't make a trap that throw monster god know where. Now I have to find it so that I can get the drop."

Ernest saw that Delon really look so pissed, so he's just keep silent and waiting for Delon to calm down.

"Sigh, let's just get the drop and continue with the mission. Anyway Ernest, did you finish your mission? Because I do and if you haven't we need to hurry up and finish the mission. I don't want to hunt in the middle of the night."

"How did you know that you've finished the mission Delon? Is it the status panel?"

"Ah, so you don't see it. Then we need to hurry up because it going to be dark soon."

Saying that, Delon then start to walk to the get the drop. While Ernest chasing him and asking Delon about what he saw.

"It looks like a pop up or something like that and it says that 'you've completed the quest' or something. It's also giving me something inside my inventory. Let's go Ernest, we need to kill one more monster to make you finish the quest."

Both Delon and Ernest then go looking for the drop and also looking for some monster to kill so that Ernest can finish his quest.

**

Meanwhile somewhere else.

"Hmm… I think I forgot something but, what is it. I just can't remember it, well let's just forget it. Maybe it's not that important."

A man sitting on his chair said that while looking at something like monitor in front of him.

"Let's see how many of you will die in this first stage. I hope many will survive this game, because it will be boring if all of you die in the first stage."

He's sitting in a room where the only thing that not broken is the chair that he sat on. The room looked like a storm just came in and destroy almost everything but a chair.

"I hope he's alive, so that I can get my revenge again. To die once won't be enough for what you've done to me. Right? Hahahahaha."

Behind him there is a corpse of something which can't be recognizing anymore. More like, it can't be called corpse anymore. Because it more looked like pieces of body part and more than one are missing, not only it got cut but, some of them got crushed.

The man who is now laughing can be called a lunatic more than a god.

It is the same day for anyone who lives here, people go to work like any other day and students go to school like always. 

Nothing should have happened that day, because that’s how they live, like a normal people live. 

But, that day will make all humans who live on earth change their normal way to live.

From that day humans will know that, they shouldn’t have made all those game and stories that they proud of.

All the games and the stories that people ever created will become their new way of life.

Monster?

Magic?

Angel?

Demon?

God?

That will become common things after that day.

With the voice of God that will change their future, human begin their survival from the apocalypse that will come.

In a black world with a significant alter, above the altar, a man that looks like 25 years old is falling upon, and he has got a long deep teal like hair, long green hair, handsome round face, deep eyes like a black hole that looks like filled with wisdom.
 
After falling at the alter the man sighs in relief it is finally over, as he tries to stand up, but fall again, after giving up trying to stand, he sits down pondering over where he is and twitching his head around to look everywhere but can only see a alter with two big goddesses with wide arm-stretching around the alter, and in middle of the statues in the middle of the alter a big hounded face, with big teeth and bright red eyes, Itas felt like the alter was staring right through his heart, laying his tough bare
 
Suddenly a big wolf sound came from nowhere, and a big wolfish face shows up. His bright red eyes are looking directly at him "now now, what do we have here" then his red eyes open up, he looks down to take a closer look at the man "So it is a human this time huh, you're lucky that the awesome wolf god is here to great you little boy."  
 
The man looks skeptic on the big Wolf face and shows a bit of panic when observing the wolf face, with golden fur "who are you? Moreover, where is here? And why I'm here."  
 
Wolf face "Well you can call me Wolf God, I got so many names that I forgot most of them, and here is reincarnation palace, where people after death either goes to reincarnation circle or get teleported to this alter where your fate will be chosen by your merit and destiny points." 
"well then let us take a look at what you did to get here little boy," then suddenly, two bright red laser shoots out of his eyes and scans him like a radar. 

The man panics a little when their laser scans him, as he shudders. At the same time, his face becomes white like a paper, he felt like someone is peering into his soul and fetching out all his secrets, and he got no fighting chance against it!
 
Wolf God face show a bit of sympathy for the man "So your name is Itas, and in your will you donated the company that you built to the charity that helped cure The three major tropical infections and some more, well you are lucky your merit is enough for 8 wishes, and destiny points are enough for rolling dice of destiny."  
 
Itas face shows a little of worry by what the Wolf faces that calls himself Wolf God says, and he felt his throat drying up *cough* *cough* *cough* after coughing he takes a deep breath and ask "Why can't I see anything other than a big alter and 2 big goddess status."  
 
The Wolf God bright red eyes squint a little and looks down at Itas with an amused face, and slowly the gold wolf form changes into a beautiful white wolf, with a bright red eye filled with bloodlust, looks down on him "Aren't you lucky little boy, here are the place only lucky few can come, because of its property only 1 in 1googleplex and is fortunate enough to come here and meet a god, and before you, there was 1000 lifeform to enter here since our multiverse came to be and get a chance to become a god if you complete 3 big mission, alas only 5 lifeforms have completed them until now "  
 
Itas look angry and amused at the Wolf God "Whats the 3 mission? And why so little completions."  
 
The Wolf God laughs out loud, "Yes, that how it should be." Then Wolf god become silent for a while before speaking "First you need to conquer a field of your specialty, like cooking, swordsman, spearman, blacksmith, and a zillion other, then get the blood of 5 special people for that world, then you get a hidden quest that the alter will decide for you, you won't find out what it is before completing it so good luck little boy." 

Wolf God with an amused face and then continue to speak "And after doing all that, you will get a trial that is randomly chosen that no gods or world wills can change, then you will get a title and become a god, and have to create a godhood, and after that, you need to comprehend the law of your godhood, then when you come so far, you need to fight other with godhood and become stronger. And godhood is split into 3 realms, False God – God – God Lord, and to go to the next realm, you need to defeat one that already possesses higher rank godhood. Still, no need to think about it yet, forcefully trying to comprehend will slowly crush and destroy your soul because of the massive load it takes on you."  
 
Itas shocked at wolf god revelation and shouts, "How can that be" and forcefully trying to calm himself down. With a pondering face, his brain is turning rapidly with all the information he has gotten.
 
Wolf good take a good look at Itas, and one of the legs crosses his other leg. He lays down and a big rumbling sound from his body moving before he continue speaking "Well since we are at the topic I can tell you there if infinity multiverse out there with infinity gods, immortals, beasts and demons out there, but since you died at earth a part of this multiverse a special dice will choose a universe part of this multiverse for where your trial will commence."  
 
Itas is shocked by what Wolf God was saying, and he tries too slowly ponder on each word that has been spoken, "So that's how it is, then why are you telling me."  
 
Wolf God look at Itas "Your destiny is big, and I'm looking forward more gods coming here and fight with, since becoming strongest and challenging a lot of gods they hide every time I'm roaming around, so in easy words, I'm looking for someone that can fight with me evenly, hopefully, will it be you, if not I got infinity time to wait for next." As he speaks a smirk form on his face  
 
Itas tapped his leg, so that's why he's saying it, well I'm wondering why he thinks I will become a challenge for him, but let's think about it later, but this will become a fun journey too. Hopefully, I won't get bored it the new world, then with a smile, ask Wolf God, "Then what's the world I will go to?"  
 
Wolf God "You will go to where the dice will randomly choose 6 worlds then it will roll, and it will choose trough books, anime, manga, light novel, web novel or an unknown world, but one thing is for sure it won't be the same the same world you were in."  
 
Itas is shocked, "Really? But I thought these were a fantasy people imagine up."  
 
Wolf god look at Itas "Well, fantasy is one of the 5 big laws in the universe, so when a person, reads, sleep or just think about anything the fantasy power will give power to the law, and when enough people fantasy about something it will create a universe, it's more complicated, but it's the easy explanation." 
 
Itas looks even more shocked at the revelation, "then why are people weak at earth but strong in fantasy?"  
 
Wolf God laughs at Itas "Stupid question, of course, you won't get access to it, their body would not even hold 0.000000000001% of the power, so as a safety check the multiverse created a limiter then is only possible to remove by coming here by the alter, or by reaching godhood by themselves."  
 
Wolf God looks at Itas with an eye full of laughter "Well, then let's get on with this, so got any questions?"  
 
Itas looks at Wolf God, "Do I choose to wish before or after?"  
 
Wolf God looks at Itas "But of course or it won't be a challenge for you knowing where you will go, plus after the world is chosen nothing can interfere with you since you are protected by the dice until reaching godhood or dying by that world standard."  
 
Itas looks at Wolf God with a smile "You are not lying"  
 
Wolf God Brawl at Itas, "God never lies, our promise is like gold."  
 
Itas looks at Wolf God "That's good to know, but why is a promise like gold?"  
 
Wolf God face got serious and looks at Itas with cold eyes "It's not the time for knowing it all yet, but when our name is chosen our promises also goes with it, so if we lie we lose a little bit of godhood that's all you need to know, your lucky little boy, if it was another one he would have discarded the rules and killed you for prying too much into it."  
 
Itas looks at Wolf God with a pondering face," Fine, how long time do I have to choose?"  
 
Wolf God looks at Itas "five years is the longest you can stay here before your soul dissipate, so in 2 years I will come and hopefully in 4 years send you off."  
 
Itas looks at Wolf God with a face of disbelief "Where should I live while waiting?"  
 
Wolf God looks at Itas like looking at an idiot "Of course here. You are in soul form, so there is no need for you to sleep and eat, why should I bother making you anything."  
 
Itas looks at Wolf God with an eye of shock. "Where will you be?"  
 
Wolf, God laughs, "Of course at my residence."  
 
Itas pondering face, "So I will be alone?"  
 
Wolf God with serious face "Of course." While thinking this is a test to see if your mentality can pass the dice test if you become crazy, you lose. Then smirks and *Poof* the Whitewolf form was gone.  
 
Itas take back the eyes and look out "So I have two years to think, I should prepare myself mentally at the same time" then try to stand up, surprised it went smoothly now "how?" then stretch and sits down again, before standing again and walking around the alter to look at the altar and statues closer, he discovered that he could form a small house by thinking about it, he also found out he can only create some objects, he then huddles himself into a bed he made and close his eyes while hoping everything goes fine. 
 
2years later  
 
Itas looks around and looks at the clock he made trough fantasy power, for the second time complained: "Wasn't he supposed to come?"  
 
*Poof*  
 
"Good to see you haven't gone mad little boy, and that clock of your, wise choice."  
 
Itas looks over and sees the wolf form and frowns. "Your almost late for the 2-year deal."  
 
Wolf God with a half-closed eye. "Of course not, God lives long, so we always will be a precise little boy."  
 
Itas looks over, "Funny to hear from a god."  
 
Wolf God, snaps open eyes and looked angry at Itas, "Well then speak your wishes, or I will give randomly and turn you into a dog!"  
 
Itas looks at the Wolf God and says "system."  
 
Wolf God, "Not happening."  
 
Itas "why?"  
 
Wolf God "They are pesky shit that roams the world and create disorder of the multiverse, we can't control or summon them to give humans, they randomly choose human and whisk them away."  
 
Itas "Fine than here is my other wish."  
 
1: Immortal with blood to make people who drink it immortal too (Owner of blood need to think yes, or it will be infective so people can't capture and use him as blood bank)(and able to choose between semi and fully immortal) 
 
2: Eidetic Memory (Want to be able to remove a memory that I don't want to remember)  
 
3: Formation (Army Formation and real formation)  
 
4: Parallel Thinking (max5, don't want too many it will make tough messy)  
 
5: a world with Ranch and herbs garden in the small world (With a modern castle inside for traveling)(a/n just so you know it won't be active at the start, that's why you don't see it)  
 
6: Keep the memory of last life  
   
7: My family in the last world will have a good life  
 
8: Spear Mastery (a/n was looking about an old war movie, I loved how they portrayed the spear fighting, so I changed it from saber mastery)  
 
Wolf God "Huh, that's surprisingly I tough you would choose cultivation and that"  
 
Itas looks at Wolf God "That can choose to?"  
 
Wolf God laugh "Yes, but it is too late you can't take back the wish when you said it" *hahaha*  
 
Itas "why not?" 
 
Wolf God, "Your slow little boy, I never said you can take back a wish."  
 
Itas "fine then can we choose world?"  
 
Wolf God "Sure" then wave of his feet a dice comes out of the center of altering, and he touches it for a second before throwing it to Itas "Touch it." 
Itas slowly walks over to it and touch it with his, and the dice changed, and the different word was slowly being revealed on the different side of the dice
 
World dice showed (up Gundam 00 – down Gundam Seed – west Crest of the Stars – north Oda Nobuna no Yabou – south Naruto –  east Bleach)  
 
Itas "What? This is hard, I have only seen Gundams anime and Crest of the Stars."  
 
Wolf God looks at Itas like he is stupid "Your lucky then, almost no one who got big enough destiny have not seen any or heard about anything the dice show."  
 
Itas looks surprised at wolf god, "So it is random, I thought it was rigged." 
 
Wolf God laughs and transforms a rainbow ball and hits it into Itas. "Haha, no one can rig it since it's a primal system created before anyone being born "*poof and Wolf God form were gone.  
 
Itas looks where Wolf God heed been standing "Why can't I stand when you are around here?" then rolls around at the and stop before falling alter stairs 
Then rolls back "I got two years to think about a plan, I should use the time I got and plan, and while at it think out a training regime, then let's use the 2 years, for now, let's go to sleep." 
But before he could sleep, he screams in pain, and slowly 7 different information bubbles and a big bubble entered his mind. He could see 20% on all of them and by each of them stands the name of his wishes, and he gets rigged before realizing, "I never said they would be complete unlocked," then smack his head "Stupid." 
 
2years later a funny picture you see Itas standing on his head while in meditation pose 
 
"Dropdown, little boy, the times are here."  
 
Then Itas close the eye and falls at his back, before moving into a sitting position. 
 
Then he turned around a shadow of a white Wolf stood there and looked at hi "Hope I see you here when you become a God and not a dead soul, well, time send you off" and throw Itas into a tunnel that opened suddenly and suck Itas into it. 
 
A shout comes "Damn you, Wolf God, you could have warned meeeeeeee." And sound get farther and farther away  
 
Wolf God looks at the tunnel closing with a flash of ridicule in his eyes "That what you get for making me waste so much power for your wishes, well it will probably recover in a couple of years" with a big yawn he slowly goes back to his resident and slowly closes his eyes.

and before falling of sleep Wolf God mutters "It is still ten years to Vandrita comes back and a year before he reincarnation, I should sleep and wake up in a year time to look at his journey, but I'm sure he will have fun falling, he will probably feel like falling forever, well probably be 3-4 year old before I wake up."

Itas died and met god a got too many merits so he could choose ten wishes for donating his company for charity

Esha's POV

"Are you friends now with him?" Clara asked with a glee look on her face.

"Starting" I just said.

"He's hot, as you know, just go with it, Esha, skip friendship" she beamed, "Nah-ah, just kidding."

"It's a bit complicated" I said, "He's new and also we just met him last Friday."

"Everything gotta start with something, anyway" Clara said and hugged me tight, "You'll be fine, I think he'll be a good friend or else, I'll rip him apart."

The last part made me laugh. Didn't Cain said he is a werewolf, what can Clara even do.

The weekend went off like that like blur, I wish I had enjoyed it more but didn't. Cain came Sunday again with mixed nuts. Imagine that? Mixed nuts? Well, I love eating nuts. Just that and to tell me to be careful and look at me which made me feel a bit awkward.

School days are the same. Lessons and all that.

Cain always accompany me home this week. He always break the silence cause I do not feel much like talking cause I don't know what to say. He has a car and well, it's kinda weird cause on his first day, he called someone to pick us up.

I can hear some whispers behind my back during breaks and lunch because no one knew me that much. Such an average girl having a hot guy hanging around.

"Don't bother" Cain said.

"Says the guy with most of these girls always glancing and looking at you" I muttered.

"Are you jealous?" he asked out of the blue.

I scoffed and continued drinking my hot chocolate in a hot summer. Weird? Uhm, I'm used to this.

Clara was having a conversation with her boyfriend and they were like enthralled with each other. So glad about it.

Gellie was not able to join us today again because she has matters to check and look. That girl is always busy.

"You dream" I managed to counter him.

"I got to show you something later, will you come with me?" he asked.

"What is it?" I asked, is this werewolf related? I thought to myself.

"Uh-huh" he said.

This guy really has something with reading my thoughts. Arrrrggghhh!

"Where will you show me whatever that is?" I asked.

"That's a surprise" he said.

"Tsk. Surprises are kind of scary" I said. Well, surprises are okay but I don't feel much okay with as I have these scare jumps most times.

"You'll see" he said, "You won't be scared."

And so everything felt so rushed again and classes are ending.

"Can I speak with you, Miss Mirsten?" our Literature teacher called out to me when I was about to go out along the others.

"Yes, Mr. Corous?"

"The essay you passed was really good and I just want to commend you about it" he said, "By the way, we have an essay contest on England Literature next week at Herin College, would you like to attend?"

Uhm, okay, so I don't exactly remember being good at anything much but my grades are good. No failing ones. Well, I can try this, interesting things are happening to me these days. I don't exactly need these much but why not?

"Uhm, sure, Mr. Corous, I'll give it a try" I answered.

"I know you'll be okay" he said and smiled, "You may go now."

I left and outside the room, Cain is standing leaning on the wall, obviously, waiting for me. I just sighed.

"Didn't know you're such a brilliant student of Lit" he said.

"Nah-ah, just got lucky, I guess" I said.

"You're brilliant, nonetheless" he said.

We went to the school's parking lot when a wave of nausea washed over me, Cain caught me in time before I fall to the cement.

"Hey" he said and was about to carry me but I stopped him.

"I'm fine" I lied.

He assisted me towards the car where I slumped back on the seat when I was in. I closed my eyes and images of that gray wolf with that intensive brightly lit up green eyes popping up. I tried to clear my mind and rest. It's been a week since I had dreamt of that one.

Cain was running his fingers on my forehead, more like little taps. My mind is clearing up along the images of the gray wolf.

I slowly opened my eyes to look at Cain's. Full of worries again. I just smiled without really thinking.

"Gee, thanks" I said and held his hands up for him to stop pitty-patty little taps my forehead even if it is relaxing.

"You're fine now?" he asked.

"Yes" I said, truly that is what I feel, lighter now.

"Uhm, okay" he said, maybe he felt it, too.

He drove towards the direction of their house and the woods after it. He guided me out of the car and we walked inside the woods. Too many tall trees, cool breeze and birds chirping. Are we in Disney land?

He came closer to me and scooped me up, before I protested, he is carrying me.

"Cain, put me down" I said.

"May I just carry you, please? I'm a bit worried you might fall again" he said.

If that's what you say. Never experienced this much anyway, better enjoy it. And I feel a bit tired to be honest.

We were in a clearing now, with lots of violet flowers and some tiny insects flying around, there were yellow and red flowers, too, mixed up together, it looks like sunrise and sunsets. The air here is so relaxing.

"How is this?" he asked, looking at me.

"It's pretty" I answered, he gently put me down and helped me to stand beside him.

I roamed my eyes around and caught some squirrels running around and some rabbits, too. This is too marvelous.


Cain's POV

Esha's eyes were sparkling with glee from the surrounding. I discovered this place from wandering around the house. Well, I'm also inspecting any unsuspected inhabitants as well cause this are still part of the town's woods, where Stephen's pack can be. We mark our territory anyway so I doubt.

Seeing my mate like this is such a joy. I wanted to kiss her but it's just too enjoyable to look at her now, I can settle on that one for now.

Esha was walking around and tried to catch a rabbit. At first, the rabbit was intently looking at her, like studying her. She was about to get it when the rabbit hop off away.

"It's scared" she said.

"Why would you say that?" curious why since naturally, rabbits can get really anxious around people.

"I just felt it" she said. She just sat down and laid on the flowers. Ah, flower bed for her. Such a lovely one. I went to sit beside her.

"It's not scary, this place, I mean" I said.

"Your surprise isn't, that I agree" she said, "But this is still a part of the woods, what if that wolf comes back again?"

"No, it won't, not here, it's now our territory and it won't dare to trespass" I assured her, of course, that wolf won't.

We were like that for some time. I told her about how I found this place and how we travel from town to town. I did not mention the reason why the pack I'm part of, moved here. I won't alarm her. I will protect Esha no matter what.


Esha's POV

We left the clearing soon after and Cain drove me back home. We had to stop though, because of a deer that suddenly stopped on the center of the road.

It's nearing night now.

The deer was not moving even when Cain blew the horn of the car. He went out to shoo it and in the blink of an eye, a massive black wolf, larger than the one who attacked me came down on him. In my panic, I went out of the car to see what happened. I seem a bit dumb right now but what if Cain was bitten and all that?

But he was not. He was freaking holding back. His forearms were blocking the wolf neck. The wolf's growling is fierce.

"Cain!"

The wolf was distracted and Cain was able to pushed it off him. But like a flash, the wolf's stance are up and he started charging at me.

I expected to be crushed but I felt nothing. I opened my eyes cause I was really frightened a while back that instinctively, I had to close my eyes.

The display of a gray wolf is standing in front if me, its back on me. I looked around to see where Cain is but he is not here. Torn clothes are around and I hear the angry growls of the gray wolf.

The black wolf is still but his intense look made me shiver. I can feel the night air. The two wolves started to move like I was not there. The gray wolf, though, was just moving around the area where I am, I had to lean and maybe just cling to the car for my own life.

'Where is Cain?' my thoughts are in disarray right now until I heard it.

'I'm here'

I looked around.

'Esha, I'm here' it's here again 'See, I told you, we are real.'

My eyes shot up to look at the gray wolf near me. His back is still on me.

Just then, the black wolf charged in towards it and they started prancing at each other. The black wolf flipped the gray wolf down and pinned it to the ground. The left paw of the gray wolf shot up and struck the neck of the black wolf. It was able to free itself from the hold of the black wolf. The gray wolf got up immediately and pounced on the other wolf. It was about to land its paw with its claws showing under the moonlight sky when then black wolf pushed it.

The black wolf got up and started towards me. I can't scream, I think my voice is stuck inside. The white wolf was too fast to shove the black wolf on the side before it reaches me.

I heard howlings from afar, when I look to where the black wolf is, it is already gone. The gray wolf now is looking at me. Its golden eyes seems to shine. Then it collapse. I knelt down towards it. Its eyes have this hold like when I look at Cain's.

It dawned on me. That voice a while back was his.

"Cain?" I look at the wolf and touched its fur. It looks weak but maybe it's just tired or something.

Just then, the gray wolf started to convulsed a bit then stopped. The fur started to fall off that I had to backed a way for a meter.

The wolf started to turn, his furs falling and its snout started to changed. Then for like almost 10 or 15 minutes of like a mild to medium trashing on the cemented road, the wolf was shed on Cain's body, the wolf now is like a pile of fur with some flesh, also the skin. It started to turn to a powdery look like when you see in movies and the spirit drifts off. The heap of fur and some flesh disappeared into thin air. It is like looking into fading stardust.

I gasped when I lookdd at a naked Cain a bit curled on the ground beside the disappeared dust or more like just a weird drean. Okay? So how am I able to help him?

He started to move so I stopped on my track. I had to look away cause he is standing up.

"Hey beautiful" he said.

My eyes are still closed. I can feel him walking towards the car and hear some scrunching.

For like almost 5 minutes I look like an idiot, I was wrapped around from behind my back, I can smell the perfume or whatever, scent you call that? Just like the scent only I, can smell from Cain. This is a bit making me feel awkward and a dismssive feeling trying to ve be enclosed.

I do not know but he just had this different smell. Like fully grown grass, ah!, a scent of summer.

"Esha, how do you find my wolf form?"

"What happened to the wolf? Was it a wolf? It has red eyes, I ---- " I stopped abruptly and looked at him "How did you shoved it like that?"

"Adrenaline, I guess" he answered. But his eyes were not looking at me when he said that.

"That can be but I think you're lying" I said. Some weird things have happened today, one, this guy showed up and showed me his interest, two, a woman he knows, obviously came to us saying I have to be careful from him and three, a freaking real wolf just attacked me.

He was silent for a bit.

"You are my mate, Alesha."

Here he goes again with that.

"What mate? Like vampires and werewolves?" I asked in a sarcastic way but he did not laughed.

"Not vampires" he said.

I looked at him and tried to find emotion to betray his words, some kind of emotion to show he's just kidding with me. But there are none.

"Werewolf" he continued, "The one who attacked you is a werewolf."

"In broad daylight? Aren't they suppose to turn during a full moon?" I just went along with what he is saying.

"Alesha, we are real" he said.
