Nadya is curious. She has an uncontrollable fascination of Terra Reversal, the catastrophic event that took place over two hundred years ago, destroying cities, metamorphosing animals, and causing plant life to grow at an enormous rate. Despite constantly being forbidden by her parents, Nadya frequently ventures into the post-Terra Reversal ruins, collecting old relics scattered all around.

Hywell is protective. He has to be, since he is the courtier to Princess Nadya, daughter of the chief and chieftainess of the Halonius Province. Despite his best attempts to keep her out of trouble, he is helpless to stop her regular crusades to the ruins and, more often than not, ends up joining her. And things become even more dangerous when a scheme by traitors inside the royal grounds surfaces, endangering all the royal family.

Rivin is an outcast. All anyone seems to see in him is an abnormal, pathetic, animal-loving freak. Kayde isolates himself from the world. People have hurt him too many times to where he will trust no one; no one except Joshua, his teacher and guardian. He escapes from the world through gardening, an easy task for him considering the fact he can control and manipulate plant life at will. But his whole life comes crumbling down when Joshua disappears without a trace. Kayde's only leads are an old map and three other teens his age, including a Halonius princess that could possibly see into the past named Nadya. 

The destinies of these four teens will cross and a journey to save the world from dark forces will begin.

"Sir, by the most expensive option…does that mean the combat pets from the legendary class?" the salesgirl carefully inquired.
She had seen many customers ask about the pricier beasts in the store but when they saw the price…well let's just say she did not receive any sale commissions.
The duke gave a small nod which caused the salesgirl heart to flutter with hope towards the father and daughter duo.
Good lord her commission was going to be great!
"Please follow me to the back of the store my esteemed customers," she softly spoke before leading the pair through the store.
Sophie's eyes sparkled as she took in the strange and wonderful beasts all around her. There was no unpleasant smell from the animals as the indoor filtration system and the cleaning robots maintained proper hygiene.
She looked at one of the cages and there was a purple coloured monkey who waved cheerfully before turning invisible!
What seemed to be a metallic sludge was shifting merrily around a small enclosure before violently banging against the door as they passed by.
The salesgirl led them past the recreational pet section and into the combat pet zone of the store.
Sophie noticed that the animals here seemed to be more aggressive and stared harshly at her figure as she walked by.
There was now an additional label under each one of the enclosures that showed what rank the combat pet was. Sophie saw that even the common ranked combat pets would sell for upwards of one million Enas.
What was the price of a legendary pet?
She dared not think too much!
She sneaked a small peak at her father who seemed pretty nonchalant at the prospect of his daughter's reckless spending and quietly made a vow in her heart to pay him back once she entered military service.
Sophie saw a rock-like golem with beady yellow eyes that made her slightly sleepy when she gazed into them. The duke gave her a gentle tap on the head and Sophie woke up with a startled expression.
The label under the creature showed that he was merely an ultra beast.
Sophie dared not casually look at the beasts inside the enclosures anymore and just quietly followed the guide until they reached a black door with two security drones hovering menacingly in the air.
"I'm sorry my dear customers but to gain access to this room will require a deposit of ten million Enas before I can allow you inside," the salesgirl carefully explained.
The duke said nothing but simply handed the girl a black credit card which she quickly tapped against a payment machine to process the amount.
Once the payment was complete, the salesgirl took out a metal plate from her pocket and pressed it against the sealed door.
A buzzing noise was heard from the security lock and the door swung open to reveal the hidden room within.
Legendary combat beasts were notoriously difficult to acquire and only high-end pet stores would be able to apply for a licence to breed and sell. Under the laws of the Federation, these beasts were treated as biological weapons, so every sale was heavily taxed.
Even the black market would only be able to sell very small quantities under the condition that the authorities would turn a blind eye once they received a cut.
The room was surprisingly bare and only contained a virtual hub that showed the projection of a book and what seemed to be a small transporter in the center of the room.
Sophie walked inside and was taken aback by the lack of animals.
"Where are the legendary beasts?" Sophie inquired in a puzzled tone.
"Our store only has a B-ranked pet licence to sell legendary combat beasts so we cannot offer any that have already been hatched. We are only allowed to sell eggs," the salesgirl explained.
Generally speaking, A- ranked and S- Ranked pet licences were only reserved for military contractors and special individuals with extremely high security clearances.
Having a B- ranked licence was the highest licence that a commercial business could obtain.
"But for those in the lower cultivation levels, it would be practically impossible for customers to tame an adult or even an infant legendary beast."
"However, we also sell training manuals and methods to form a blood bond with the egg that the customer selects so you will be treated as a parent once it hatches which tends to make the creature easier to control."
Sophie turned to her father who gave her an encouraging nod, so she eagerly ran towards the virtual terminal to browse the available selections.
Sophie did not intend to go down the path of beast cultivation, but she figured that the extra strength would protect her in the future.
Plus, she really loved animals!
Sophie tapped the floating book and a search engine was generated which could filter all the available beasts. There was also a guide section for new users, so Sophie decided to give it a click before deciding to search.
Reading the introduction page, Sophie realised that the eggs were all cryogenically frozen and once a selection was made then they would be teleported from a hidden location to the transporter in the centre of the room.
"Let's find an adorable baby!" Sophie joyfully spoke.
The results could be filtered using a variety of options which Sophie carefully browsed before making a choice.

She inputted a series of commands into the search engine to narrow down the results.
The first consideration was that the pet had to be small and in the lightweight class. Sophie did not want a bulky pet because travelling would become quite inconvenient.
And she wanted to hold and hug the pet in her arms!
For the special ability section, she clicked the singular and multiple options while briefly glancing at the master option on the trainability level before giving a sigh of resignation and clicking beginner.
There was no need to lie to herself…...
The remaining options of general specialization were quite tricky as they would basically eliminate an enormous percentage of the available stock.
Sophie stood in silence for several minutes but could not seem to make up her mind.
"Dad could you help me decide what option to select for the combat role and specialization?" Sophie turned to her father for help.
"Young miss, the most popular types of combat beasts are those that have the fighter and tank class roles! They will make you near invincible among your peers," the salesgirl quickly spoke up.
The salesgirl was eager to recommend those two options as it would increase her commission quite significantly.
It was true, although each pet for sale was of the legendary status…. there was great demand for the tank and fighter classes when compared to the rest, so they were naturally more expensive.
Sophie gave a small hum of acknowledgement before waiting for her father to reply. The duke stroked his chin for a moment before giving the opposite advice,
"I think you should select a combat beast that is useful for control, surveillance or healing,"
"Why?" Sophie asked in confusion.
"Because the other roles may give you an edge among your peers at the lower levels but once you reach the qi tide stage then your opponents will easily deal with them or go for you directly," he explained.
"And it is very easy to become over reliant on external sources of strength. I'm not going to mock beast cultivators but unless they have some type of defensive cultivation art…. they are easy pickings on the battlefield."
Sophie took her father's advice to heart and selected the healer, surveillance and control classes but left the general specialization filter slot empty.
She pressed the enter button and a few small dots appeared on the screen as the AI searched the database to find all matches that included her criteria.

To her delight she found that exactly five pets had met her stringent requirements. The list of filters may have given the illusion that there was plenty of choices for customers, but each legendary beast was incomparably precious.
They had notoriously low breeding rates in captivity and their dangerous nature made fatalities commonplace in the industry.

Something that should have never existed under the heavens. The case covering the flawless white papers was shining in a golden light making it hard to see. After a minute the light calmed down leaving a gold binding. Although it mas made of pure gold it was surprisingly lightweight. It radiated a majestic aura but this one was stronger than the others it seemed to say "I am peerless in this world there will never be a book greater than me in this world". The library was shaking violently like it was holding something that was greater than the heavens themselves. The ancient bells rang joyously like this was a moment that would never happen again.
Shen Yue opened the book, with his photographic memory he remembered every heavenly word in this book that defies the heavens and yet even though it defied it the heavens praised this book, everyone in the Tales of Demons and Gods universe bowed their heads in awe wondering where this power came from.
God: Oh it seems Shen Yue made his first step on the path towards godhood.
Shen Yue: What is this I just can't look away.
After 10 minutes Shen Yue finishes reading it the words popping up constantly in his mind showing how important this book was.
Shen Yue: Hey Maple can you tell me what this book does.
Maple: [Right away master, but before that please give it a name.]
Shen Yue: Thank you for reminding me Maple. I name this book The Peerless Path to Everything in Tales of Demons and Gods.
The book as if accepting its new name made words that seemed like the void appear on the cover.
Maple: [Okay master, this book allows you to:
First it allows you to use a demon spirit of each attribute meaning 29 in all, Second it causes you to be a master of every subject in TDG meaning if you say your the second best at something no one will ever dare to say they are number one lest they will be struck be the heavens with the strongest smite it can muster, Third you will forge the perfect body expelling every single impurity from your body making it flawless, there are more but those are the major ones master.]
Shen Yue: Thank you Maple now it's time to make a cultivation manual for Ning'er and Ziyun but first I have to leave. Bye library see you in a minute.
Shen Yue then leaves the Library of Heaven's Path.
Xiao Ning'er: What happened you have been staring at the books for 10 seconds and then there was this powerful presence coming from you are you okay.
Shen Yue: Yeah don't worry about it instead I have a present for you 2
Xiao Ning'er and Ye Ziyun: What is it?
Shen Yue: You will find out in just a minute. The only thing I need you to do is punch.
They don't question it and punch.
Shen Yue: Flaws.
Shen Yue then precedes to enter the library.
Maple: [Master has unlocked a new feature with the sorting machine with each person scanned you can then compile a manual that will fix their flaws if you want to.]
Shen Yue: That you for letting me know Maple that is exactly what I need right now.
Shen Yue then makes 2 manuals one for Ning'er and the other for Ziyun. It fixed their flaws and provided the perfect way to cultivate with their constitutions. Once he finished making them he left the library again. He then touched the forehead of the 2 of them.
Shen Yue: Here is your present girls.
A second later he removes his finger from their foreheads.
Shen Yue: So what do you think.
Ye Ziyun: Am I really worthy of this book it's better than any manual I have ever seen.
Xiao Ning'er: Yeah this seems a little to much.
Shen Yue: Nonsense for you 2 this is nothing. Now let's go home it's getting late.
Xiao Ning'er: Alright let's go.
Ye Ziyun: I second that.

The boy is thrown off of her back and falls hard on his bum. "Welcome back.. brat."
  Miku feels cold beads of sweat forming under his brown fringe. 'I'm screwed,' he thought to himself. She dusts off her jumpsuit then looks down at him with a chilly glare. He gulps. She holds one finger "1." He stands up. "2." He starts running for his life. "3!" A purple suited monster chases him around the deck, down the ramp, and onto the dock with a hammer and wrench in hand and a belt full of other dangerous tools. "Miku Shimizu! How many times have I told you to use the ramp like a normal person? You and Issa both are going to be the death of me if I have to fix another dent on this ship!"
  The purple monster, Akemi Nanami, age 24, is a completely 'normal' human being, one that does not possess a Blessing, as well as the engineer/handyman of the ship (thus the belt full of tools). Miku, too scared to use Chi against her, runs as fast as he can without using internal power; because of this, Akemi is actually able to barely keep up. Residents of the other boats walk out in excitement, expecting an entertaining sailor's brawl, but when they find out that it was cold-hearted, beauty Akemi and the powerful, bishonen Miku making the ruckus, they hurriedly move their boats toward the open sea.
  It's like a brutal game of cat and mouse. Akemi throws her hammer toward his back, but without looking, the boy dodges it. "How dare you dodge that," she growls. The truth is she knew that it wouldn't hit him and that him running away from her was nothing more than a joke. Being born as a non-Blessed, there was no way in hell, she would ever be able to hurt or even catch a Blessed kid like Miku.
  The two reach the edge of the dock. With nowhere else to go and every other ship sailing away in fear, Miku jumps 6 meters up to the crows nest of a lone, unfortunate boat whose owners weren't home. "I'm sorry! I didn't see you," he shouts down to her. 
  She runs up the ramp, ignoring the sign saying 'Private Property. Do not enter.', and throws her wrench up like a throwing knife to his face. It falls short, crashes onto the boat's wooden floor and creates a gnash. She grabs her next weapon. "Get down here now or for the next two weeks I'm going to tell your brother to halve your allowance!"
  Back at their own ship, a weak looking man around the age of 30 wakes up to incessant bickering. He stretches his thin arms and legs then tiredly walks himself out of his cabin and up the stairs leading to the deck. "Not again...," he sighs. Up the dock, he sees the rowdy scene of Akemi trying to kill the young boy on someone else's boat. Sluggishly making his way over, he slouches his bony back, decreasing his height by a few inches. Respecting the sign, he stays on the dock. "Can you two stop.. please? A couple of guys came this morning saying that they were going to file a noise complaint on us.. and they were sailors.."
  The two ignore him. "Guys! I begging you here! You guys shouldn't be up there!" He tries raising his voice a bit more. "STOP!" For a Captain's crew to not listen to his orders or pleas, tears start to flow from his mud-brown eyes. He starts sniffling. Akemi stops throwing her tools and Miku comes down from the crow's nest. Seeing their pitiful Captain crying makes their guilt overtake their feelings of fear and anger. The two collect the tools and lead the poor man back to the ship.
 
  The Akemi and the Captain sit at what is the 'dining booth' as Miku whips up a light snack to hold them over until dinnertime. 
  "So, it has been some time since the last time we've taken a mission. It's not exactly necessary, but I believe we should start do a few more jobs before winter comes," the Captain starts. Akemi nods. "I told Issa to head to the job center and look for doable jobs for the three of us. He should be back soon." Miku walks out of the kitchen with a platter of cleanly sliced sandwiches. The Captain scoots over to make room for him. "Miku, we may be leaving at any moment again, so you will have to stay by yourself at Harbor Inn until we come back. Miku takes a decent sized bite of his sandwich then gives an indifferent "'MKay." 
  Although they've been back for a few months already, the Captain couldn't help but feel bad for leaving Miku behind again. 'For his age, Miku is actually quite mature. Though he acts uncaring, it's more than likely just his way of not wanting us to worry,' the Captain thought. The three finish off the rest of the sandwiches. Miku begins to clean up then asks, "Is Issa coming back anytime soon? I think I'm going to prep dinner right now."
  "Aw!" The Captain jumps up from his seat. "How about, for dinner, we go to the Dragon Festival? I heard from Grandma Mari that they're going to be running a stall again this year!" Excitement stretches on his pale face, but the two look at him in disinterest.
  Akemi, who has been reading a book since they started eating, shakes her head. "Land? Um.. no thanks." The Captain turns to Miku with hope, but Miku shifts his eyes away. "I have an exam tomorrow that I should prepare for."
  The Captain sits back down dejectedly. "Oh... I see.."
  Akemi shuts her book with a somewhat sorry face. "Why don't you just go with Issa when he gets back?" She suggests.
  "...Whenever I go with Issa alone, it's kinda... tough." He hangs his head low. They completely understand what he means by that. Being tall, handsome, and rugged looking, Issa attracts attention just by standing there. Matched with his abnormally friendly personality, being alone with him makes one tend to hate their self.
  With the Captain being the Captain, an completely plain, frail looking man, going somewhere with Issa means becoming invisible to every female store-clerk, waitress and woman in general. Something like that can really mess with a man's psyche. The two sigh simultaneously, sneaking a glance at each other, they nod their heads in agreement. 
  "I guess I won't mind going if you pay for the drinks," Akemi says listlessly.
  "And I was asked to go visit Grandma Mari today.."
  Once more the Captain jumps up. "That settles it then!"

  [ 7 pm]
  "Guys, Issa's back," the Captain yells while looking through his telescope.
  The silver-haired, handsome man finally makes it back to the ship. "You were all waiting for me?Sorry... I was a bit caught up by the girls at the job center.... They kept asking me to help them with some favors." The three of them can't help but feel annoyed at his excuse, regretting not leaving him behind.
  With Issa completing their quartet, the four walk a 100 meters to the shoreline walkway where thousands of citizens and visitors alike have already gathered. The sun has already set and the last hit of orange is fading from the the horizon. Paper lanterns are lit up all over, reigniting the orange hue back on Earth. With Issa being hungry and the rest being a little less than satiated, they choose eat before anything else, sitting at an empty table nearest to the first bar they see.
  They are all well into their meal when Issa comments, "I'm surprised you were willing to get off the boat, Akemi. How long has it been since you've gone out without it being a complete necessity?" He raises his glass for the blushing waitress to refill.
  Akemi elegantly sips down the rest of her beer and holds her glass out as well. "Well I couldn't resist the Captains offer." She turns to the Captain with a evil smirk. "Captain here said that he would pay for our drinks tonight."
  Issa raises his brows, happy hearing about the information. "I didn't know our lightweight Captain Ken had it in him! I guess to that we should drink our fill in his name tonight!" He raises his glass. "To Lightweight Captain Ken!"
  Akemi raises her glass over the Captain's head and clinks his glass. "To Lightweight Captain Ken!"
  With one passed out after a one drink and the other two being alcoholic tanks, Miku knew that it would be more than appropriate to excuse himself before things got any more interesting.
  For awhile he walks through the crowd of people, observing the diverse body of people, all varying in height, age, ethnicity, status. He saw how most people walked around in groups or pairs. There was rarely someone alone like he was. Around the middle of festival grounds, he hears the aged voice of Grandma Mari. "MIKU!" He turns around and sees the the sign, 'Come-for-food Restaurant's Stall'.
  "Hello, Grandma Mari." He bows his head to the woman stirring a large pot of deliciousness.
  "Oh don't act all sweet you sly boy! I haven't seen you for quite some time now! How can you do that to this sweet old lady? Did I not say you were welcome anytime?" She hands over the stirring to her restaurant's worker then calls out, "Mai come here for a bit!" From the back, Mai comes out holding a knife in one hand in one hand a carrot in the other. She sees Miku and immediately realizes what is going to happen. Grandma Mari takes the items out of Mai's hands and pushes her out of the stall. 
  "Miku, take this girl along with you. She's been working since you guys have gotten out of school, so she hasn't had time to take a look around yet."
  Mai frowns at her grandma's craftiness. "Grandma, it's fine. The festival is always the same anyways."
  Ignoring her grandaughter, Grandma Mari takes 10 dollars out of the register. "This is for snacks and games. If you take her with you, I'll make you my exclusive Earth-berry pie."
  "Deal." Without any hesitation Miku takes the money and drags Mai by the wrist.

Long ago, Dragons roamed the earth. Seen as living Gods, they were worshiped and adored by humans until one day when they had a change of heart. Thousands of years have passed and new problems arise in the world, however the fear of the Dragons remain. As a Vessel, 10 year old Taitsuke Ryoko must deal with fear and hatred toward him everyday. But, rather than giving into their looks of disdain, he chooses to prove that he is just as human as everyone else. By becoming a Chibushi and joining the Alliance's CODE, Taitsuke will show that he is nothing like the monster inside him.

After that exhausting search for the book of magic things and finding the spell that can possibly break the wicked bond. But now, they need to go to the top of the highest mountain in the whole town of Aegis Manta, the "Mount Fraul." It is the hardest mountain to climb, and to summit to the top of it is dangerous. But that won't stop them from getting the answers that they needed.

"So, Chester how do we get to the top of that mountain?" Jayme questioned Chester. "I know one way, we can get to the top of Mount Fraul without getting caught by the guards is having a gem of invisibility and the gem of weight," said Chester. "How can we find those, and how to use them?" Jayme questioned. 

"There is a jewelry room inside here in the palace, and you use the gem of invisibility to of course be invisible and the gem of weight so that we can be lightweight so that we can't leave a trail on where we are going, and to become heavy if there is a snow storm on Mount Fraul, we need to be heavy so that the strong winds won't take us. And also we need a fire gem because the middle part of the mountain is covered in snow," Chester explained. "Now, are there any questions?" he questioned but he didn't receive any reply from Jayme.

They start their new adventure by sneak through the kitchen of the palace using the invincibility gem and they both got out easily. "Chester, how do we there if we don't have any horse of carriage to take both of us there," said Jayme. 

"We can use this horse from the pen, he is not used for a long time," said Chester. "But how can we get through the gates?" Jayme asked. "Don't worry, I know a way," Chester replied.

They both go to the back of the castle and there they found a secret magical door way, "Vuliravus!" Chester said loud enough that the door opens, and a stream of light, gush to them,and Jayme saw trees and a oddly familiar mountain.

After they go through the magical door way they found themselves in the middle of the woods, located at outside the town, "Where did that door take us Chester?" asked Jayme. "That door takes us to the middle of the woods to where we need to go, to Mount Fraul," Chester said. 

"But where is the mountain?" Jayme asked again. "Look at back, you little brat," Chester replied to him with an angry manner.

As Jayme turn back he found the a high mountain, Mount Fraul, he looked to the mountain with shock and dread, but he know he need to help Chester, "I will be in big trouble here," Jayme thought.

"Come on bruhhhh, let's go!!" Chester said, and Jayme followed him. And they start their summit to the top of the mountains by first making it through the jungle and go to Mount Fraul's base.

As they got to the base of Mount Fraul they both saw three caves, and only of the cave is the right way and the others will lead you to your doom. "Uhmmm.... Chester did you bring the book of magical things?"

"Yes of course, I case of emergencies like this I used to bring stuffs that I know important," Chester replied. 

"Whooo.... Thank god you bring that, I hope that could help us, on choosing which cave should we enter," Jayme said. "Okay just wait there, I will read the book again if there is some information.

*A few minutes later* 

"I found it!" Chester said loudly. "We go in to the third cave."

They both go in but there is only darkness inside the cave, but after that long straight walk into the dark cave and a few pounds of their head inside the cave finally got out. 

When they got out they can't believe what they have found, "Whe-where are we now?" Jayme asked. "We are now here at the middle of the mountain."

All that they can see is only snow and the cold air made Jayme shiver a bit, "You, ok Jayme?" asked Chester. "I'm okay, so don't worry about me," replied Jayme. 

They started walking a the trail is not that easy, snowy and rocky, that's what the trail is. 

After 30 minutes of the tiring walk, they finally reached the top of the mountain, it is not snowy nor rocky on the top, it was sunny and warm, and they saw a field of grass and a big mansion, that is white. 

"That's what were looking for!" Chester exclaimed because of excitement.

They both race to the front of the mansion but Chester didn't won the race. Once they got to the front door, a big door, they door belled and there was a voice that replied to them, "Come in! " yelled the person, the person sounded like a woman. 

And then the door opened, and.....

"Oh! I brought a few things." She said as she took out a bundle then placed it in front of his brother.
"Last time I remembered you were very interested in runes and sigils*, so I borrowed a book from my master's collection. It's called the Foundational Guide on Sigils and most of the spells used alongside it and I thought it might prove valuable in protecting yourself. Also brought a small protection ring, few healing potions and pills to help stabilize your current cultivation since you broke through the Mortal rank...."
Lukas looked at all of the sprawled things below him and lightly smiled. He felt touched by the gesture his sister had given him. His eyes roamed in between the bottles of pills, potions, ring and other accessories before they settled on a book. It was a beautiful book adorned in gold leaf blowers. It almost looked like a grimore and her next words practically confirmed it.
"This…" she pointed at the book "is an auxiliary artifact specially made for Light Mages, able to record one's thoughts and comprehensions; spells and battle strategies, and also it can be bound through special runes making it almost a journal of some sort. The runes inside it posses the passive ability of attracting more light elements and so helps increasing the casting speed of low tier spells." She spoke proudly.
Lukas's face became strange. "But I already possess a book of spells" he said as he barely raised a finger. Her sister was just about to respond with an assured smile before in a flash of light a gleam floated from a pile of books and then silently flew towards Lukas, settling on its lap like baby returning to its mother's embrace.
Aria's eyes went wide "What…how?" she asked as she flitted even closer and then raised the average book in her hands in a surprise. A moment passed before she could form a coherent thought in front of Lukas' puzzled face.
"How…how did you do that ?" 
Lukas was even more confused, "what do you mean?" he asked before it dawned on him. "Do you mean how I summoned it?"
Aria nodded while still fondling the book in her hands.
"I…i don't know." he was just about to ask if this was normal thing to occur before he decided against  it, his instinct telling it might just something else.
"I found I could always summon them towards me ever since I returned." he digressed with what could only be considered the truth. Ever since he had arrived here he had been able to summon them to his hands a couple of times and he always thought that it was a part of the whole magical package but it seemed he was wrong.
Aria's eyes gleamed as she turned to look around. Noticing the staff and the sizable distance between them she added "Can I see?" her eyes clearly asking.
Lukas paused before he shrugged. He simply waved his hands and the staff laid in the wall glowed a little before it flew and settled in Lukas hand in a flowing grace. Aria's face which previously held excitement and confusion froze before being clouded by a conflicting emotion. Lukas's face quickly sank as he could already tell that she seemed to be really emotional this time. She looked at the two artifacts, from the staff to the book and it wasn't until Lukas called her that she deigned a response.
"Aria, are you okay?" he asked concerned.
"There is no doubt brother; these artifacts are definitely blood bound" she said as she settled the book down and then pulled the long white Medial staff towards her. If in the past it used to be pure white now from its trunk to the pointed top was decorated with countless minute runes that formed four definite bands of symbols throughout the length of the staff.
"Blood bound?" 
Aria nodded "Blood bound artifacts and they are freshly made." She said it more to herself than to her brother.  Realizing he might not know what it means she explained further "among the three classes** of regular artifacts among the first four ranks of the mages until the utmost heaven rank most artifacts are made to be bound to their wielder not only for the sake of safety but in a bid to allow the wilder to obtain more power from the artifact"
She said as she gracefully stood and then flicked the lightweight staff in her hands "The process of binding any kind of artifact is usually hard and involves a deeper knowledge of runes but throughout time there are three known ways in binding artifacts to the users."
She continued "The 1st method, which is the more common one is through the usage of special runes. Usually diamond ranked weapons can hold the power of such runes except for a few specific silver ranked artifacts but basically it involves specific runes using blood as a medium to connect the artifact to it's a chosen wilder. Its wildly common, uncommonly expensive and usually only used on artifacts mages and the like are sure to use for a long time if not for life.
A second method which more uncommon but not unheard of is through Breakthrough Momentum. The more ranks we ascend, the harder it will be for mages and other classes to increase their strengths and there have been cases of mages using the power and the momentum of their to influence their artifacts to ascend with them. If it ever becomes successful then the artifact isn't only increased in rank, quality and power it confirms and conjoins to the wielder in such a way the wilder can fully harness the power of such said artifacts."
She paused in her slow walk before she stood still. "this was proven to almost never work except on  rare chances during soft and harder water shed marked in the path of cultivation. Though it has been observed it has a slightly higher chance to happen on higher breakthroughs since the lower cultivation stages isn't nearly enough in perform such a ritual."
By now she paused before she laid the staff gently on Lukas's feet.
"Last method is so rare that most ancient masters even debate on its existence  but this method is the one I'm sure that you have experienced."
"What do you mean?"Lukas asked, intrigued and curious.
Aria looked him in the eye before she answered. "A blood connection on the Precipice of Life and Death," she said it in a solemn voice. Lukas was just about to be open his mouth before it became evident to him and the next words Aria said practically confirmed it.
"This is one of the vilest but also one of the rarest occurrences ever." She added,"It involves the wielder to experience a life and death situation. The artifact is soaked with blood and the life essence of the possessor. With the intense emotions at that brink of precipice, and the presence of mana in the air with runes, magic and adjoining comprehension, an artifact within a very small chance of opportunity can change at a fundamental level transforming it into a blood bound artifact which can be summoned at will, exhibit even more power by the wilder and these bonds can almost never be destroyed unless the artifact is destroyed or the wilder dies. It's a bond the previous methods can never match."
She then turned to the staff as she tentatively went on "When I read this I never imagined I would lay witness to it especially in front of my own blood brother. These types of artifacts in the are usually cursed and filled with darkness especially when the wilder dies and it is touched by the energy upon the wielder's death. The wilder almost always never survives at that precipice and if the weapon happens to transform at that level they go wild and berserk until they are sealed if possible or even destroyed in the end."
Lukas looked at his artifacts under a new light. If the previous host had died then these would have been reeking of the danger and death and most probably would have been destroyed. He sighed. The only reason he was sure they were still responsive and docile meant that this body had survived though it was only him who knew that he had merged with the dying soul in the end.
Aria looked at his brother and then nodded when she returned the staff.
"This can be counted as extreme luck brother, out of all who have perished you have obtained an unprecedented opportunity." She said, her heart twitched with anger and sadness every time she thought that she almost lose her brother.
Shaking her head her face went another transformation. "Now let me brother, enter your mana into the staff and let me see"
Lukas was about to do so before he asked "Why didn't you enter your own mana inside as you held it?" 
Aria scoffed "You think I haven't tried it. Once it came into my hands I tried pouring my mana into it but it was unresponsive to a halt. Only true blood bound items can be used by their masters. Anyone other than them they never work."
Lukas stared at Aria before his eyes shifted to the staff in his hands decorated with runes and he helplessly smiled to himself. Not in his wildest imagination would he have thought that the very staff his previous host was given as a starter pack the moment he joined the Cathedral could now became his last memento, his last proof of ever existing in this world.He let his mana flow freely and for the first time the Medial staff awakened ever since he found it beside him on the road of where he had been transmigrated.
The staff glowed and spluttered before a bright light shone on its top with dazzling radiance. It was a beautiful sight that lit up the room despite the fact that it was still day. Lukas was amazed by the brilliance before he noticed the staff shone with another kind of light, a sharp contrasting bluish light that ebbed like a small star in the midst of a blazing sun. Various energies swirled along the staff and if Aria once thought that the staff was a White ranked artifact, the hidden power that thrummed off it made it seem as if it had transformed into silver or even a diamond ranked artifact. 
"This is incredible" she sighed in wonder. The staff glowed of light and star and it looked like it held a lot of power, waiting to be unearthed.
"Did you give it a name yet?"
Aria asked. 
Lukas shook his head. Aria rolled her eyes in expiration "well why you haven't done so?" she said "this is a Staff reborn. It is something that rarely happens in the whole continent. Giving it a name could commemorate its new found power."
Lukas felt a little pressured but when he gave it a quick glance, of the light and the star that shone intermingled and of the situation in his own soul altar he gave it a very name that he thought would be perfect for such a blood bound artifact.
" I shall call it The StarLight Staff" with that he held the very staff that would accompany him on the many upcoming adventures on his exalted journey of magic.

*sigils- meant to be runes that can be used as spells or during spell casting. Further knowledge will be explained on the upcoming chapters.

"Someone once lived here before?"
The sighting of the cabin produced a low hum as he entered the space. The rustic scenery produced by the fluorescent light from the moss and the underground stream nearby allowed quick access to water for drinking and to help the plants. A small bamboo shoot was used to transfer water using a measuring rod that would come everyday to keep the plants in top conditions even without the sunlight. The cabin laid far behind with no lights, the aged wood made it look like a hermit who lives in the mountains vibe as he continued on.
The wood was bruised and pale as it was aged and the door was left intact with multiple layers of dust caked the door.
He examined the plants in front of the cabin, with the one closest to himself. It was a strange flower, with two leaves that were blue with a red trimming of crimson red. The flower itself had no opposing nature at all and even released a fragrance similar of that of maple and driftwood.
Colored in pale white was the bud with multiple jagged petals, it was a true oddity.
"What are these?"
In fear of touching any poisonous items, he left it and continued his path through the other flowers.
The next had a distinct cold bloody aura that would sent shivers down his spine. The actual flower was shaped as a heart, and he could feel it pulsate along with the aura.
Three of them were the most noticeable and the last was just a vase filled with green liquid.
A small sound of a mechanism clicked and water began pouring down the bamboo shoots, but soon after touching the liquid in the urn, it became viscous.
Botany knowledge isn't very superb compared to other subjects that they have advanced in the Soul Realm. Many consequences can be taken without doing certain methods and procedures to treat and cure the plants of any side effects of consumption. most plants would still give strong affects that they would die to the surplus of power and hidden effects.
Though the distinct plants were interesting, what came first was definitely the cabin.
He brandished his sword from the cheap sheath made from simple dry leather from a cow animal in the Soul Realm. The moss' light reflect the purple hue once more as he walked towards the cabin.
He arrived with the doors, seeing even more details when he looked from afar, strong bolded hieroglyphs appeared to him. Unknown to its meaning, he gritted his teeth and braced himself.
He opened the door quickly and jumped back. the creak of the door showed that it was not maintained for several years.
The door opened fully but no sound could be heard or any jump scare to be afraid of.
He released the stress and came inside. A welcoming feeling arrived with a simple stone interior. A small shelf carved out of the rock was present on the left and a work bench filled with numerous equipment was spread throughout. But aside from that, the not-so simple thing was that a skeleton was sat near the work bench, clearly clenching an object of some sort.
Multiple glass vile were numbered throughout and once he began inspecting the skeletal remains, he found the object to be a book.
'Sorry, I will definitely return the book along your remains when i properly bury you.'
If he ever wanted to know anything about this strange mini world in the center of a mountain, it would definitely be contained here.
The words on the book appeared to be a cryptic language. Feeling relieved and disappointed, he was about to return the book but a strong energy entered his body from the book, unable to release his hands. The letters of the book began merging and changing as he looked further. The power behind the journal by the dead man couldn't be explained by modern thoughts, not even translating chips could change words to any language at the spot.
After a few minutes, he was able to feel his body, becoming quite cramped up at the moment. The words were fully translated and he began reading the first and only paragraph on the first page.
"Hello human, if you're reading this, I must be dead. A tradition of my sect is always to pass on our knowledge to the young when we go to sleep eternally. Alas, I have not, so I hope my words of knowledge will go through"
He flipped through the next page and continued on.
"I am a humble cultivator belonging to the Ascended Spirit Realm of the Devil Sect. Our realm was called the True Immortal Myriad Realm and are split in three. The Righteous Sect, The Mountain Temple, and last but not least, my Devil Sect. Do not get me wrong, our Devil Sect is in no way evil, just that our pursuit of strength and ideology was different."
"Though I am merely an Ascended Spirit Realm, my only focus in the sect was to become a Apothecary Master, and I've became a genius of the apothecary sub-sect of the Devil Sect. Me any my peers were researching divine ingredients before we found the Ascension Root. The only divine ingredient in the entire realm. I researched every possibility, using simulations to practice, and I was finally able to find one in just ten years. And that was, reincarnation, the use of the root could alleviate the soul of the mortal flesh and come in contact with a way stronger realm where divine ingredients are all around and many ingredients as well."
"I am one who used it for myself to ascend to the new realm, to which I've been transported, the Ascension Root gave me the proper vessel to pass through, a vessel of merely flesh and bone. To which I was fine with, If I could train in the new realm, I would definitely be able to achieve much higher powers. But I was wrong."
"The vessel's body was too weak to cultivate my Devil Sect's cultivation technique to which would rattle my bones and churn my insides. My first attempt and I was now handicapped beyond natural recovery. I had to use my apothecary knowledge to somehow survive but the string of misfortunes hitting me continued on."
"There was no necessary metals to use for my refining pot. And just like that, I lived in a mortal's flesh and survived using any tactics disdainful to man, but since you're reading this, you must know I've failed."
The journal continued and read on his journey from his realm and how he was praised for his achievements. But a huge disparity in the journal was his times in the Soul Realm and his time in his home realm. He had a huge hatred and desperate entries of his times living here.
"On the shelf nearby is all the books I managed to remember from my time, one should be the Devil's Cultivation Method and the rest should just be my apothecary knowledge. Though if I could ask you to do me a favor and bury my remains, the moment you opened the book, I've sent the remaining power of my cultivation foundation Qi for you to read my book. My body will be turned to ashes and the book will as well."
"...this is my final entry, I hope my words were useful to nurture the young, and hope for the prosperity of the Devil Sect in this realm. Happy Travels. From your dead pal.
Fan Tong."
The moment he reached the last page, the book released heat and burned alongside the corpse.
"I will properly bury your ashes..."
He felt he gained new insight from the readings and a new power from the release of the energy.
The feeling of the aura disappeared and he was finally able to relax his body from the powerful force.
But that relaxation soon stressed itself and he began sprinting out.
"Later!"
"The aura that came out of the cave is now gone! I have to head back, the cobra might come back!"
The Qi from his remains masked the aura of his corpse to appear as a strong monster, now that it was gone, the territorial protection a monster's territory gave was all gone.
He used his soul energy to rush back, which would usually need a day of rest to reach full capacity once more. But the soul energy consumption seemed to be way less and it was recovering at rapid rate compared to a normal warrior.
He did not fret over the small detail, which wasn't really small, but the urgency of the situation was strong.
Everything in his mind was blurred, but his sole focus and intent was fully being focused on was saving his senior friends.
Using his Lightweight technique, he moved as quick as possible.

The Galaxy is only a small drop amongst the vast universe with many undiscovered oddities that can not be described. Humanity has accomplished many achievements to further their understanding of the universe though miniscule. But what lays beyond those of our knowledge is just the frontier of all things. Follow the journey of a young man with a mystified past as he ventures into the frontier as many others had as well.

**Semi-Sentient Fire is discovered in one of the gaseous location of Jupiter.**

Stonexia was overjoyed with the news, as currently his life was getting boring without much to do. He can only train, spend some time with wife, kids or family and read books to enhance his knowledge. Even the Earthians no longer caused any trouble for him or his family so almost zero news events were coming from Earth. Only notifications were of copying continents on the other planets but on travelling there he never found anything interesting. There was no life, no treasures, no past life signs. Only some new types of elements were discovered and Stonexia use to spend time researching them and experiment with them to upgrade weapons and armors for himself and other Yrrah family members. But success rate was very bad with scientific methods, and mostly all researches end up in failure. Even if success, the results are not as per his expectations. 

That's why he needed sentient fire for trying the blacksmithing and alchemy methods from the ancient book he had acquired from Dark Forest on Earth itself (as explained in chapter 10). It was an book left by Annunaki from planet Nibiru too, just like the 'Overpowered Sword'. Stonexia has found some armors and new type of stronger yet lightweight elements on planet Mars. Mars did have various signs of visit by Annunaki too like similar diagrams as left in temples of Maya, pyramids of Egypt. The book mentions the method to capture the sentient fire and its usage as well. 

Stonexia immediately teleported to the Jupiter planet and using his super speed travelled around planet to reach the specified location as per news. He can't directly teleport there as it was not a pre-visited location. There he saw a humongous amounts of liquid fire in the core of the planet Jupiter. Maybe this fire is the reason for the planet being gaseous. As per the instructions of the book, he started incantations to subdue the fire. The temperature was even higher than that of Lava, but with current level of Stonexia, his physique can handle the heat at least for few hours nonstop. Moreover he was using magical armors of rock, ice and water simultaneously. After few hours he was successful in taming the fire, and system congratulated for this as well.

**Congratulations on capturing a semi-sentient fire. It is a top grade fire that can be used to produce limitless potential weapons and armors and also for medicines based on ancient recipes. Produced output depends on the level of the host and fire too. Currently host has to issue commands on maintaining temperature and various other stuff, but later when this fire fully grows its sentience then it will become just like a living being made up of fire, and host will just need to communicate with it to produce anything. Actually it needs trillions of years to gain sentience for a flame, but as you have OPS, system will help you make it sentient within a month. But host can't use time stop feature of Demo mode during this period. So time will be real time even in demo mode for host.**

"Then i am really thankful to you." replied Stonexia politely.

**No need to boot lick the system.** 

Stonexia was used to such sarcastic comments so didn't mind much and just smiled. Jupiter started showing signs of solidification after getting the semi-sentient fire removed from its core. Maybe it will become the largest non-gaseous planet of Sun's Solar System in future .

One month later....

Not many changes happened. Stonexia kept training and researching new elements and metals found in various planets at slow speed as the time stop feature was not available to him this month. Due to increased speed of copying after OPS Upgrade, almost all planets were about to be fully copied. Even Earth has copied its moon and asteroids in its surroundings. 

Stonexia reached Level 23 and all other members were at 20 as well. Onix Yrrah and Onie Yrrah were at Level 13. Earlier Hirusha Yrrah and Hirosha Yrrah were not sent to outer space explorations to give them time to enjoy and get used to their new life of luxury. Also there was no spaceship going for Neptune and Pluto earlier but 10 days ago, they were sent on a space program launched by Russian government towards Pluto, and another space shuttle launch by USA towards Neptune. Estimated time for them to reach their destinations is 4 and 5 months respectively. 

Semi sentient flame showed metamorphosis and took the form of human girl of about six years, and was released by the system who helped her fast forward trillions of years. It was something OPS willingly did for Stonexia. Otherwise, if it was Stonexia commanding OPS to do such stuff, OPS would have probably refused such request as usual with some kind of sarcastic comment. 

Stonexia named this flame 'Flame Yrrah'.  She was an very cute girl, and was going to remain by side of Stonexia forever. 

"Flame Yrrah ...good .... good." said little fire girl acknowledging her new name.

Stonexia although seemed to be in hurry of trying the flame's abilities, but as she was an living being and that too so cute, Stonexia almost treated her like his own daughter, so didn't forced to immediately start creating weapons and armors for him. Instead he went to home to let her meet with Maya, Onix and Onie Yrrah. Then she was given lots of luxurious stuff to eat but she just burnt everything to crisps. But she was still delighted and desired more and more. Maybe she was getting taste of that stuff before the food was reduced to cinders. She burnt the furniture as well, accidentally breaking fire in the house. But maids and servants immediately controlled the fire. Stonexia wasn't angry at all and just showed an awkward smile. He simply told her to not repeat this stuff, as it is a bad thing. Flame Yrrah too realized that she did something wrong and thus agreed. Stonexia wanted to research on flames more so he opened the ancient book, and found that sentient fires usually devour other fires to grow stronger, and doesn't require normal food at all. 

For next few days, Stonexia spent his days with family and Flame Yrrah is adopted as daughter by Maya too and Mr. and Mrs. Yrrah also love her as their granddaughter. Other Yrrah members also claimed her to be the cutest thing in the whole world or maybe even universe, and thus dote on her very much. Flame Yrrah was very happy with her new lifestyle and getting such loving family. Slowly she learnt controlling her flame and didn't trouble Stonexia or other family members anymore. She got all sorts of toys to play, that were earlier bought for Onix and Onie Yrrah. Flame Yrrah was a naturally talented top grade flame, that's why Stonexia didn't entered her name as disciple as well and currently her level is showed as Level 15 by OPS Scouter.

Finally after many days, Stonexia gathered his courage to become selfish and ask Flame Yrrah to help her in upgrading 'Overpowered Sword' and also create some armor from newly found metals and elements from other planets, so as to power up himself to, at least put his step on the planet Dorra. He first taught her blacksmithing and alchemy techniques as per the ancient book of Annunaki, and surprisingly she had photographic memory and didn't required referring the book for the second time. She memorized whole book within three days.

Various experiments were done and failure rate was only 1 percent with Flame Yrrah so Stonexia was able to research new elements and metals at faster rate. Finally he has created a new type of artificial alloy by fusing various metals, gases and elements from all explored planets and named it 'Jellitonium' as it appeared like flexible jelly like stuff but was countless times harder than diamond. Through Mr. Han Yrrah, Stonexia sold the Jellitonium to the modern scientists in all countries as well thus giving another stuff for their business and also allow Earth to grow itself to the level of other higher planets out there. But as it's an element of destruction too, that's why a treaty was signed before selling of Jellitonium, that if it is used for war purposes within Earth then Yrrah's Endless Supplies will terminate its contract with the party that misused Jellitonium. 

Various researches were conducted on Jellitonium now by lots of scientists. One of the top scientist who also taught Stonexia for his Phd earlier invented laser guns and light saber (Star Wars products) using Jellitonium. Bulky households products were created using Jellitonium which was light like feather allowing everything in modern world to become portable. Soon more researches were made and new technology inter-spatial rings were invented using Jellitonium. Soon Jellitonium robots and clones were also invented and were much more successful than ordinary Robots.

After eating their breakfast, Rhianne and Francis will go straight into the study room and help her brother to give some ideas about cars. Rhianne discovered that her brother is fond of cars. It is also one of their business for years. Since Francis loves everything that involves cars, Tim already decided to give Francis their company branch in Quintel City after he finishes his studies next year.
 
Speaking of business, Tim is a well-known business tycoon in the business world. He is the owner and the CEO of the famous Cartel Group of Companies or CGC. Due to his efficient thinking and genius tactics in the business world, he always received an award every year. 
 
Thinking about the story plot, Rhianne is the only one who didn't excel in their family. It is because she focused all of her life and effort for a man who will just use her in the end. Instead of making an achievement for herself, the character Rhianne Cartel made a stepping stone for her lover instead. What a foolish girl.

Speaking of the story plot, Rhianne is secretly making a plan in her head. The very first on her hit list is to avoid meeting with that Andrew at all costs. Rhianne only has a few friends according to her mother. It is because most people only want to be her friends because she's rich. So Rhianne decided not to be involved with others that much. 
 
Rhianne thought maybe that's the reason why the original Rhianne fell in love with Andrew Gartin. Since Rhianne lacks any sincere feelings from other people aside from her family, Andrew Gartin uses that idea and portrays a different attitude and personality in front of her. But the book said they're childhood friends. That means that Andrew started controlling Rhianne's feelings since they're young. Thinking more about it, Rhianne is convinced that Andrew Gartin is a scary and manipulative man and she needs to avoid at all costs.

A few days later, Carmie informed her family that one of her classmates from college will visit their house this afternoon. She has a good relationship with that person so they keep having in touch after they graduated. Since that person is her mom's friend, then she must be kind and good. After eating their breakfast, Rhianne joins her brother as usual.
 
Arriving in the study room, Francis quickly sits at his chair near the table and tries his best to finish the design he made yesterday. It is a blueprint of a car and Francis plans to use it if the result will be satisfying for him and to their father. But the results he made yesterday is still lacking.
 
Francis casually asked Rhianne if she has any idea on how to make a car attractive. He didn't actually expect that he'll receive a response from her. Rhianne suggested focusing on the car's wheels and engine's sound aside from its physical appearance. She also points out that it's better to use another material for the car's body instead of the usual aluminum and steel.
 
"Why don't you use carbon fiber instead of aluminum and steel? It can make the car more lightweight than the usual car. Maybe you can also use a different tire, which is thinner than the average wheel. And for the engine, just make it smooth and quiet that requires less maintenance."
 
Francis looks at his sister with a dumb expression. He didn't expect his little sister to give him a suggestion. When Rhianne saw him, she awkwardly turns her head away from him thinking that maybe she said too much. Francis is now looking at his sister in a new light. Immediately, Francis grabs a clean paper and starts making a new design of a car.
 
Francis seems lost in his own world for now. Rhianne just let her brother finish his drawing as she browses all the books placed on the bookshelf. An old but thick book caught her eyes so Rhianne reaches for it. She gets surprised to see its contents. 
 
This book is all about movie-making. In her past life, her biggest dream is to be a film director. She wants to make a movie that will move everyone's hearts. But sadly, they didn't want her just because of her background and lack of experience.
 
Both Rhianne and Francis got lost in their own worlds until they heard a knock on the door. Carmie opens the door to see her children getting busy with their own work. She informs them that her visitors just arrived and want to introduce them to her friend. The siblings nod their heads and follow their mother.
 
When they arrived in the living room, Rhianne saw a  woman and a boy beside her. The woman is wearing a neat and colorful dress while the boy beside her wears a simple black shirt and pants. Carmie smiles at the two before she introduces her children.
 
"Francis and Rhianne, this is my friend during college, Janice. Janice, these are my children. This is Francis, my eldest son." 
 
Francis smiles at the woman named Janice and bows his head. Janice smiles too, and seems pleased with his welcoming attitude. 
 
"And this is Rhianne, my youngest daughter."
 
Rhianne also did the same. She politely smiles at her mother's friend and bows her head a little.
 
"Your children are so lovely, Carmie." Janice said as she stands up with the boy beside her.
 
"Hello, Francis and Rhianne. I'm Janice. Carmie's friend. And this is my son, Andrew. He's the same age as you, Rhianne. I hope that you two will also become my son's friend."

After dying in a tragic accident, Rhianne found herself transmigrated in a novel world as a character. To her much disappointment, she became the character who has a tragic fate in the end just because she falls in love with the wrong person.
 
To avoid her tragic fate in the novel, she decided not to do all the stupid things the original character did in the novel. Instead, Rhianne decided to fulfill the dreams she didn't accomplish in her past life. But the novel doesn't want to let her off easily. Instead, all the people she wanted to avoid were now approaching her one by one.
 
Even if she decided to change her fate, how can Rhianne avoid her tragic ending?

I start to panic as my magic slowly drains and at that moment, I could finally see the three adventurers. Thank God that my presence is fully hidden within this shadow, but this is not going to last long.

Since I am a darkness dragon, I would assume my weakness would be the priest girl over there. She is already restricting my [Darkness Eater] with her light. If she gets near me, I think I will be done for.

I use [Dragons Might] and exit my shadow to not consume any more magic. I take a look at my magic and it is already down to 196/600...

My magic goes all the way down to 52/600 and I start to panic, but I look up and see the adventurers on the ground, knocked out cold.

Well... I guess it went to the crazy-ass broken skill. I hear a message in my head.
