A place for me to write ideas and you to use them

I had a thought what if I made random titles and/or intros that people can use to make fun novels.
I was thinking of making novels but thought to myself that I don't really have the talent to make novels to the end or realy capture the audience attention. I could capture the attention for a short while but not for the whole novel.
I just hope one of my ideas can become a good novel.

It was raining.
The jet black clouds were covering every single spot in the blue sky, there was even some thunders ready to be unleashed in some poor house.
The rain was getting heavy.
There were only the sound of the drops of water that fell in the ground and the steps of a person walking over the dirt.
The person was a teen of 16 years, his long hair were black like the clouds over his head, his black eyes were eerily glowing in pure white scleras, and his clothes were wet just like his head, because he didn't have an umbrella.
Every single strand of hair was shining due to the drops of water that were falling from his hair and the streetlights that were lighting him and his way.
Every single step he made was slow and unnerving, his expression was blank, but the strangest thing of him was that the insects near the streetlights were dying just from being near him.
Everyone had something they would call a 'Curse', for some people would be simply being fat, for others it was their past, some would call their friends a 'Curse', and this teenager's 'Curse' was this, Killing Intent.
Since he was born, he released a strange aura that would keep away other babies like him, so he was alone even during his childhood, when his parents would take him near some babies, they would cry, making the babies' parents angry and taking away their childs.
But it didn't end there, when he started going to the kindergarten, that strange aura got stronger, warding off the other kids of his age and some bigger kids, when he entered the elementary school, it just continued to grow stronger, leaving him alone even from adults.
And then when he reached the age of 10, his parents kicked him outside his house because they were afraid of his 'Curse', some months later he was dropped out from the school because some kids tried to blame him for stealing money from a teacher's wallet just because they didn't liked him.
So, from that moment on, he lived on stealing other people's possessions, and at the age of 13, the strange aura became strong enough to frighten the adults too, like that time a lonely robber met with him and he ran away immediately the moment he looked at the kid, letting fall a bag full of money.
The kid, whose name was Jean, was happy from that and bought a phone, and some clothes, it was a bit difficult because people thought that he steal that money, but some instants later they glanced away because they were afraid of his killing intent.
When he had 14 years, his killing intent frightening dangerous animals too, when he entered a zoo, there wasn't any nearby animal that would even make a sound, even the lions, proud kings of the beasts, would not even move.
Slowly, his killing intent started getting even stronger, and a year later, he would only see dead insects in his way, it scared him, because he realized that in some years, his killing intent would start killing people too.
During his time alone, the only source of enjoyment were games and videos, because no one would be afraid of him at the other side of the screen, and he liked passing time reading about novels, like Against the Gods, and even some fanfictions about things, like Ex-True God in Anime Verse. (I am fucking advertising my own novel!!)
The thing he liked most was reading in the phone, novels, memes, fanfictions, and etc... 
But the thing he hated the most was the rain, it would wet him, making it hard to see, and wetting the phone when he was reading, often the sky would be really dark, blocking the view to the clean sky, and every time something bad happens, it will rain.
And soon, he would have another reason to hate the rain...
Jean was walking in the street, tired, he was searching a place to sleep, because every time he found an house to buy, the sellers would be afraid of him and not come at the metting, making it impossible to buy it.
Then he found a corner, where the rain didn't go, he walked there until he heard a gunshot, and his body felt warm, but he was getting weaker, then he looked down and found blood that was trailing down from his body, and the rain didn't helped because of the chemicals inside it that came from the sea.
Then he started to turn and found a man with a gun, his expression was one of anger and fear.
Man: Fucking brat, making me scare so much... Get out from the way! *Bang*
Then he shot another time at Jean, making another hole in his chest, shocking him.
Jean: 'This fucker... Who would shot just for fear?!'
This was the first time he felt such rage to someone, the rage slowly turned in killing intent, feeding it to the 'Curse' he already had, and giving an heart attack at the man, who let fall his gun and fell in the ground lifelessly.
Jean was stretching his body under the rain and over the ground, he looked at the sky, and started crying. 
The rain was going over his face, wetting him even more, his holes in the chest were stopping bleeding due to the absence of blood and were filled with rainwater.
There was no sound except for the rain falling on the ground and his heartbeat that was getting slower, he closed his eyes and said.
Jean: Life is so unfair...
And a flame, the flame inside his soul turned off, together with his killing intent, and for the first time, he felt at the same level of every other living being, because he found his end, like everyone else does, but that end... Was just the Beginning of a unique story.

Jean, a teenager, was a boy who was Always alone, kicked out from his family, dropped out from the school, even random people would stay away from him, because he has an innate talent to unconsciously release killing intent.
He didn't liked this, even when he would look at a mirror he would be scared of himself.
With time, the killing intent got stronger, to the point of killing insects just with his presence, he couldn't do anything without scaring anything, until...

Chapter 19- Difference between Hells and Labyrinths / One of the Seven Labyrinths of Negativity: Depression
(For fighting parts, yup, I screwed up. I knew I screwed up that is why I did my research using light novels and web novels such as Absolute Duo. Oh well, I hope you like it.]
Cyrus woke up and saw a lot of high humans working. Some are chopping the trees for woods and to expand the land while the others build the buildings. 
Cyrus then came up with a so-called idea and he called on a meeting between the so-called adults. 
The kids are still asleep.
"So, kingdoms can't exist without money and treasures right?"
""Yes""
"So, I am planning to go to a labyrinth."
"Labyrinth? What is that?"
Vanessa asked.
"Labyrinths are places that has 100 floors underground. Labyrinths are more profitable than Hells."
"Hmmm? What are the differences of the two anyway?"
Cyrus answered Vanessa.
Labyrinths are places created by sudden appearances of gates. Inside a Labyrinth, treasures and monsters reside, and that is where the Hells lose.
Hells are only lands that humans can't live on due to harsh, and when Cyrus says harsh, it's harsh, conditions. Demons live there and there are rare chances of treasures found in Hells. 
"But I suppose Labyrinths are rare, right?"
"Rare? For card wielders that has heavenly powers, maybe not. Lynx, can you search for a special map? Let's start people!"
"I found a gate map. It says here that this was found 100 years ago."
"Summon it and we'll head there."
"But Sylvia and Klein-"
"The high humans are here. Just command some to take care of them."
Lynx summoned a map. 
"This labyrinth is the closest one here. It's called Depression."
Cyrus's face hardened. His eyes went wide.
'No, that can't be. No, it must be because I am being crazy.'
Cyrus shook his head.

Outside a cave, three people are seen looking at it with their own worries. 
"This labyrinth feels ominous."
"Okay, let's go."

When they went inside the Labyrinth, they encountered Dark Demons, or also called Pure Demons. Pure Demons possess abilities that surpass other demons. 
"Heavenly Binding Chains!"
"Flame Fantasia!"
Golden Chains and Blazing Fire appeared. 
Cyrus was surrounded by five demons while Vanessa has four. Lynx was on their back. 
Cyrus grabbed his Crimson Crystal Dagger and swiftly charged towards the left demon. The demon blocked the dagger but at that time, Cyrus quickly grabbed the Thunder Stone Dagger from his back and stabbed the demon to it's head. It electrocuted it's brain, if it has any.
"KAAAAHHHKKK!!!!"
Lynx noticed one thing from Cyrus's ways of attacking.
'Relying from his speed and fast thinking, as well as his good muscle coordination. But his weakness is strength, he relies too much on his electrical attributes.'
While Vanessa, who doesn't have any weapons other than her card, used a tactical way. She used her card to materialize fire spears from the front and back of the demons. 
Attacking demons with fire is not a good idea. Since demons have fire resistance but it is different when demons are killed using world ending fire. 
'Vanessa relies to her understanding of logic but her usage of magic is something bad.'
Lynx kept a mental note to himself while the two are fighting demons.
'Teach them to fight later.'
"KIIIIIIIIIEEEEECCCCHHHHKKKK!!!"
The demons screeched.
"Come on, let's go."
They moved forward and while walking, Cyrus checked the status of his card.
"Status."

'Huh? Wait, so a pure demon can give me 10 000 EXP. This is a nice hunting ground.'
They met a few more demons and at that point, demon screeches are heard throughout the labyrinth.

In the world similar to anime worlds, monsters are roaming the world. And to fight back, humans created 'Cards'. These are powerful cards that people at the age of 16 are given. 

And Cyrus Trevor got the weakest rank of card. An F rank card. 

Being a laughing stock, he ventured the outside world hoping to protect and be strong.

SpicyGinger: Author responsibility? Srsly? Then what about those famous stories where the protagonist commits suicide and it ends with that? Is it promoting suicide? Is the author wrong?

Mr.DropDeadSexy: By most country guidelines 'Glorifying' suicide is a huge problem.

Mr.DropDeadSexy: When 13 Reasons came out, there was huge outrage.

Mr.DropDeadSexy: Many psychologists said it was incredibly problematic and never should've been released.

Truedawn: I don't want this to become an argument between which one is better. I do agree that glorifying things that shouldn't be glorified is wrong. Like suicide, ****, pedophilia and so on.

SpicyGinger: In a story for kids... sure there is responsibility... but for an adults work... the writer can depict whatever he wants.

Truedawn: Plus authors should really think of what they're giving to readers. r-13, r-16, r-18 it doesn't stop young people from reading it at all even adults get affected.

CoolGuySan: Honestly they're just bigger kids with bigger problems.

Elyon sighed as he read the comments. Truedawn has drawn the line and it means that the discussion has come to an end. The authors also want to change the subject. CoolGuySan decided to initiate the change and threw some random topic to start a new discussion. 

CoolGuySan: U've all seen endgame?

Truedawn: Nope.

Mr.DropDeadSexy: Endgame was trash the end.

A few days passed since that heated debate on the Writer's Discord Chatroom. Elyon was curious and asked the other authors who were not present during that debate the question "What is a Story?" The answers he got were quite tame, compared to the ones he had back then.

Elyon: What is a story to you as an author? *points imaginary microphone to a baby dragon*

Zehel2218: For me as a reader, novel is everything that makes me want to live on.

Cultivator_Requiem: But a story can be a ship to another world! Or a message from the past! Or a stupid creation of a 11-year-old edgy kid!

Longsun Fullmetal: There are many different forms of a story. All of them with a different purpose and goal. Some of them merely seek to entertain, others wish to send a message. 

Some are about inspiring while others seek to cause specific emotions of the readers, Many stories were made by people who are disappointed with the "real world", reflecting what's happening around them inside their story, maybe wishing to escape it or suggesting a solution to the world's problems. The list is endless.

There are so many different types of stories we could keep this up all day honestly. But I think we can agree on one thing. A story is either enjoyable or not.

Author's Thoughts

When I decided to start writing Writer's Chatgroup, this particular episode on the discord chat made a deep impression on me. If I remember correctly, It was just a week after I joined the server.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It is their right, their choice and something that they need to decide on their own. Most of the time, arguments and debates are often caused by conflicting opinions. 

Even outside the boundaries of the discord chatroom, these conflicts happen. One good example of this is voting for politicians (President, Senators, etc.) You'd be surprised that sometimes your friends, family, relatives, classmates, acquaintances, co-workers (name it you have it!) will not always agree with you on your choice of candidates.

There are times when you get "heated discussion and debates" on why this particular politician is good, why he/she is bad, so on and so forth~

So why am I telling you this stuff? Mmm, it's because I don't want the authors of the discord chatroom to kil- *cough* I don't want the readers to judge their favorite authors for voicing their opinions and beliefs. 

We as authors write our stories so we can pass a message to you, so we can entertain you, so we can give you something to do when you're bored and have free time to spare. 

In turn, we get happy if people read our stories. Just like what the author PoeticPenguin shared in a comment in one of the chapters of Writer's Chatgroup.

"I can't make someone laugh so I have defaulted to make my readers interested. Also, I wholeheartedly agree with you. A comment is basically 300 dollars plus bragging rights. Wait no, more than that. It's also a glimpse of heaven on earth."

Today was a day just like any other day. I am finally back home with my parents and on my free time I was diving into A New World. However, during this time I had been drifting away from my livestreams as I was becoming more and more focused on finding a job with each passing day no matter what my parents say. This turned out to be a mistake, as when I decided to get on to check out how many fans I had, the number was a broken number. 100,000,000 fans! I was just at 30,000,000 just days ago and yet here we are looking at more than triple the fan base and yet I hadn't even done anything to deserve this kind of attention. My fans were clamoring for me to become an idol already, and droves of studios were emailing me trying to be the one that I would choose. So, I decided it was time to make THAT announcement. Titling my livestream, "I Intend To Self Debut", I started up my stream and waited for the fans to pour on in. Before long over 1,000,000 fans were watching my stream and I thought that this was a decent enough number to make my announcement. Clearing my throat I began to speak.



"Hello everyone, it's TheRealRaven here with a little update broadcast. I have noticed that many of you have been begging for me to debut as an idol, and to be honest I would really love to do this however it will be on my terms and on my own. I intend to save up my own money and fund my debut myself. It is as simple as that. That is all that I have to say everyone. Thanks for joining this short broadcast!" I was immediately bombarded with many questions, however deigning to not answer them, I instead swiftly ended the broadcast with a stretch and a yawn. Getting up from the computer, I headed downstairs for dinner as it was dinner time already. Mom and dad were waiting for me at the table, and mom had a warm smile on her face when I finally joined them at the table. Apologizing for making my parents wait, we dug into our biscuits and gravy with mashed potatoes on the side just because I requested it. Yeah I know I have a weird combination of foods, but I can't help it. I like what I like alright? Anyway, after a delicious dinner, I told my parents about the explosion in the number of my fans and my dad nodded sagely while my mom's jaw practically fell off of her face. Now that's the normal reaction mom! Dad quit pretending to be a badass!



Okay to be honest, my parents are both badass in their own right. They both shot up their careers during a three year period simply because I had asked them to let me live a life of luxury. I was half kidding when I said it, because I didn't honestly expect them to go through with it. However, since they did I am immensely grateful because now I can live my perfect little shut-in life of my dreams. I had always wanted to shut myself indoors playing video games all day, reading light novels and snacking on snacks and drinking on them energy drinks. And now, that it is my reality, I feel kind of lonely. Honestly the old me would have been on cloud nine at this point and to be honest during the first couple of days back I was, but now I want something more in my life. I may be a girl now, but I didn't suddenly grow an interest in men, on the contrary I am even more determined to find a beautiful girl and make her mine. I know that it is kind of unconventional and my parents will have a very hard time having grandchildren, however if I find the right guy in the future I just might consider letting them into my little harem if I build one that is. I admit I had always fantasized about building my own harem of beautiful girls and indulging myself in pleasure day in and day out with them, however now I also have to consider the possibility of adding guys into the mix also. No scratch that I would only allow one guy into the harem, too many guys would just cause trouble. From the outside it would look like some lucky guy got his own harem, but I will make it very clear that it is MY harem, and he is just a member of it. Anyway rant over, moving on to the next topic.



After calming my mom down with dad's help, I went back upstairs to my room, however I had the intentions of going for a drive to the public library. I wanted to sit in the library and read light novels in peace while enjoying a nice iced coffee and a good sandwich. Grabbing my keys, I headed downstairs with my purse over my shoulder and gave mom and dad a kiss on the cheek telling them that I am going to the library. Saying good bye to me and to stay out of trouble, I blushed as I remembered my vigilante incident. That can't happen again, or at the very least I need to make sure that I am not seen maybe wearing a disguise to hide my appearance. Walking outside with my keys in my hand I walked over to my mustang and climbed inside. Once inside I drove off in the direction of the Concert City downtown library. Five minutes later I arrived and pulled into a parking spot. Getting out, I smiled as the rays of the sun streaked down onto my face and I lifted my chin high and strutted into the library. Many gasps and whistles of admiration were heard as I made my way inside. I am at the library, now to get a light novel, order a coffee and sandwich and take a seat. 




Walking over to the light novel and manga section of the young adults section of the library, I found the perfect harem isekai light novel for some good old light reading. Heading over to the counter, I grabbed out my library card, thankful that my parents prepared one for me, and checked out the light novel. Walking over to the café area in the center of the library, I ordered a breakfast sandwich and an oreo iced coffee. Yummy! This is going to be so delicious! As I sat down and waited for my order to be brought over to me, I began reading. Five minutes later, I heard the most adorable voice ever say, "Excuse me, but I have your order here." Looking up, I felt my soul leave my body. Golden irises, chocolate brown hair and jade white skin, pink lips and standing at the same height as me was a gorgeous heaven shaking beauty of nation destroying proportions. I quickly noticed her name tag which read as, "Mei". She is Chinese! Yes score one for me! Clearing my throat as I realized that I had been ogling her for a good few seconds, I blushed crimson and said, "Y-yes, T-that's my order thank mew!" I bit my tongue at the end there, which caused Mei to giggle shyly. I felt a fire burning in my heart as I asked her, "Hey I have nothing going on today, when does your shift end? Maybe we could hang out and talk about books and stuff?" Books?! Really girl the best you got is books?! I mean I know that we are in a library but come on, can't you do better than that? However, she seemed to be an easy mark, as she looked at me with sparkling eyes, and nodded her head saying, "Actually my shift was just about to end, if you can wait 10 minutes I can join you over here." I swear the Goddess of Matches is watching over me right now! She said yes! Of course, she probably just sees me as another girl that wants to make a friend. However, I will test the waters over time and see if I can make this girl my wifey!



Those 10 minutes were like an eternity, but like any long sentence they eventually come to an end, and at long last Mei walked over to me with a faint blush on her face as she sat down shyly and said, "Hi my name is Mei and I am 18 years old! I love reading BL light novels and Yuri light novels! Yes I am one of those, and otaku but that is me!" Oh my God! I found a comrade, and she reads Yuri! There is hope for me after all then! Next I introduced myself. "My name is Raven also 18 and I also happen to be an otaku that likes the same genres of light novels as you! We will get along quite nicely don't you think?" Giggling in excitement, Mei nodded and before long we began to debate about all kinds of things such as our waifus and our mans. I laughed as we had many waifus in common. This is going to be a beautiful friendship, and if I play my cards right possibly a beautiful love story!

Jeff was your average 18 year old dishwasher working at a typical kitchen environment, when everything changed for him when he got up for work one day.. "Wait.. Why am I a girl?!"

The Ministers didn't know where exactly they were supposed to be headed to. After all, the entire Palace was a mess. Where could they locate the Emperor?
"It's so bizarre," Baron Han spoke up as the Ministers walked down an empty hallway. "A bunch of crazy soldiers had invaded the Palace, but there's not a single dead body in the hallway. If it was a group of rebels, wouldn't they have killed anyone they see?"
Duke Li Shenyang ground his teeth. This Baron sure had a lot of words for someone with zero influence. "Who knows what these people are thinking?"
Baron Han glanced at Duchess Wang Qixing whose face couldn't be seen. Half of it was pressed against her husband's chest and the other half was shielded by her hair. He didn't think the stoic Prime Minister was such an endearing husband. It was all too suspicious…
"Where are we walking to exactly?" Baron Han asked as he observed their surroundings. He was unfamiliar with this part of the Palace since his duties were always near the Throne Room.
"To the outside of the Palace. Judging by the silence, I'd assume the chaos has ended. If it's our victory, then I would assume one of the Eunuchs can direct us to the Emperor," Duke Li Shenyang explained.
"You're very calm about this entire ordeal, Prime Minister," Baron Han sniped. "It's all too strange."
"In the face of a storm, someone has to remain calm. Or else, we'd all be a bunch of mindless chickens," Duke Li Shenyang retorted. 
Baron Han scowled. He had not gotten over the grudge he held against the Li Family for what they did to his precious daughter, Han Jieru. Even to this day, her reputation hadn't recovered. 
"It's almost as if you—"
"Prime Minister," Marquis Ning interrupted whilst sending a warning smile to the Baron's direction. "Why don't you guide your wife home first? I'm sure she's shaken by today's events."
Duke Li Shenyang weighed the benefits. He glanced down at Duchess Wang Qixing whose superb acting had fooled everyone. 
With his wife by his side, he'd raise fewer suspicions since his silence could be justified by the comfort he was offering her. But then again, if she was home, she could assert leadership and control the situation outside of the Palace. 
Duke Li Shenyang trusted his children, but at the end of the day, they were still young adults. They needed someone to guide them in case things took a turn for the worst. 
"W-will you return home with me, darling?" Duchess Wang Qixing purposely asked, knowing exactly what her husband would say. She had crafted this exact question to brush the suspicion off of him.
"No, my sweetheart. I'm afraid my duty is to this country," Duke Li Shenyang gently explained as he grasped her hand. "I must seek our Emperor and ensure he is safe and well."
It was the response that Duchess Wang Qixing had predicted. The concern in the Duke's expression was enough to throw the suspicious Baron Han off his trail. The other Ministers should also feel at ease by the Duke's response since it illustrated that their Prime Minister still cared for the Emperor.
"Yes, please find my dear brother! You must promise me that, darling!" Duchess Wang Qixing pleaded. Her eyes were moistened from tears and she glanced up at him like a damsel in distress.
Duke Li Shenyang resisted the urge to smile at her excellent acting. Instead, he wiped the tears from her eyes and nodded. "I will do everything in my power to find him, do not worry. The Emperor's safety is my first priority."
Duchess Wang Qixing sniffled in response and nodded her head, pretending to be the obedient wife she wasn't. "O-once we make it beyond the hallway and the palace grounds, I will head home and pray for everyone's safety."
Judging by the couple's behavior, Baron Han knew he could no longer accuse the Li Family of any treasonous schemes. Their behavior was simply too endearing to ignore.

Li Xueyue stumbled as she grabbed her forehead. The pain was beginning to dull, but it was still there. She wondered what was giving her such a throbbing headache. She concluded that it was most likely something about the handkerchief that was pressed to her nose that had caused this reaction.
She ground her teeth. "Who the hell did that?" she muttered to herself.
There was so much for Li Xueyue to ponder over. From Li Minghua's appearance to the Empress's death… She shuddered.
Li Xueyue suddenly recalled the image of the Empress's limp body on the ground. It was such an unbearable sight, even though she had seen it only for a few seconds. It was all very suspicious to her.
"Suddenly Li Minghua shows up, and then I'm knocked out from behind… I should've known my instincts weren't off. There really was someone in the hallway beside me," Li Xueyue thought out loud and bit her bottom lip.
��Who could it be?" she mumbled whilst trudging onwards. That is until she stumbled across a group of soldiers in the distance. Whether they were friends or foes, she did not know.
Li Xueyue was terrified that something might happen to her if they noticed her. Immediately, she attempted to slip into one of the rooms but found it was locked.
"We see someone!" one of the soldiers called out.
Li Xueyue cursed under her breath. It was now or never. She made a dash down the other direction of the hallway, hoping that one of these corners would confuse them. 
Li Xueyue wished she could be faster but the strain from running had only worsened her headache. She groaned in protest, touching her forehead. Exactly how strong was that drug for it not to wear off after such a long time?
Not watching where she was going, Li Xueyue stumbled. The mistake had caused her to slow down a bit. She didn't know exactly who was chasing her, or the fact that the soldiers were catching up to her.
It was too late, by the time she turned around, someone had grabbed onto her elbow. Li Xueyue screamed as she swung her hand. It immediately connected with flesh and a loud slap was heard.
The grip on her elbow loosened and she attempted to escape, only to be grabbed again. Li Xueyue had no time to waste. She back-kicked, hoping to connect her foot with his manberries. Unfortunately for her, he was already used to that move.
"Will you calm down?!" Wen Jinkai demanded, pushing her legs away. "Are you trying to make me infertile?" he hissed, turning her around.
Li Xueyue let out a horrified scream upon seeing him. "W-what are you doing here?"
"I should be asking you that question," Wen Jinkai seethed. "What are you doing snooping near the Empress's corridors?"
"I wasn't snooping, I got lost here," she lied. "Next thing I knew, I was hit in the head and woke up in a strange room."
Wen Jinkai paused. "Who would knock you unconscious?��
"That's what I want to know," Li Xueyue muttered. "Look, just take me to the palace entrance. I need to head home and—" she stopped herself. "Wait, what are you doing here as well?"
Wen Jinkai's face became guarded. "Nothing. Let's go, I'll take you beyond the palace walls."
Li Xueyue was skeptical of his response, but nonetheless, decided to accompany him. 


"What do you want from me?"


"Everything. Your soul, your body, your heart, but above all, I want you. Come to me, and you will be sheltered from every storm and hurricane that might come our way."

After 5 days you could see Joji in the basement training. He was practicing the martial arts and he had actually reached a very high stage in the martial arts.

" Uhh …. I fell asleep " he spouted a lie, but, Angela didn't seem suspicious. 

" Let's go to eat " said Angela. Apparently it was already night, if he remembered correctly it was at afternoon that he fell unconscious after a sharp pain.

While walking up stairs he asked the system what happened.

As he got closer he noticed all 4 of them were wearing black hoodies, caps and mask.

He didn't wait anymore. He immediately swung his machete and 2 thugs at the middle died instantly, it didn't end here though. The thugs who were killed started turning into mummy's, their blood and everything inside their skin turned into a ball of light and entered Joji. 

" Who are you ? Ahhhhhhhh " Just as the thug on the left side was about to ask who the man who attacked them was, his two thug partners turned into a ball of light and disappeared. The thug screamed like a kid, which made it really funny. 

Suddenly. Joji's body began glowing with a yellow glow. A yellow colored aura surrounded him. He felt stronger than before. He rushed towards the thug at the left and immediately,  instead of a single thug, the thug at the right died too. The same thing happened to them as the only thing left from their body was skin. 

The old man was covering his face till now. Joji picked up the clothes of the thugs and shook it. Several money notes rained down from their clothes. He quickly disappeared, he did not want the old man to know his identity. He didn't leave his money, why would he ? He was no hero, but he felt pity for the old man and left the money. 

The old man covering his face didn't feel anything and opened his eyes. He found nothing, but money on the floor.

The old man quickly forgot about the assault and picked the money. 

The old man laughed frantically while collecting the money and yelling " DEATH HAS DESCENDED UPON YOU EVIL PEOPLE "

He speed was as fast as koro sensei's but there were no sonic booms. He thought it might have been because of the yellow aura emanating from his body. But he reached mach 24 in just a second and immediately stopped. 

He then jumped back to the road and walked home. He couldn't help but giggle as he walked towards his house. With machete he could harness more life force and become more strong. In this world of power he was destined to be OP.

Keeley was still trying to formulate an appropriate reply when Violet spoke again, her words coming out in a rush like before.
"I don't even know why he would like me like that! We grew up together; we're practically siblings! How could anyone ever see their childhood friend in a romantic light? Nobody actually marries people they've known since they were little kids!"
She frowned. Did her dad really never tell Violet about how he met his wife? They had been childhood friends too, though they met when they were a little older than Violet and Noah. And he had missed her until the day he died.
"My parents did," Keeley said simply.
This completely derailed Violet. "What? Grandpa never said anything about that!"
"It's true! They were pretty much the only kids somewhat close in age living in their apartment building so they played together all the time. My mom was his best friend for most of his life; it's why he was never able to move on after her death," Keeley informed her.
There was silence on the other end of the phone for a full minute before Violet thanked her and hung up, telling her to have fun on the last day of her cruise and to say hi to Dad for her. Keeley was pretty sure she knew what that silence meant. She was thinking it over.
Her husband looked up from scrolling through his phone on the bed. "What did Violet need?"
"She broke up with Jeremy because Noah told her he was in love with her and made her choose between them. She needed some motherly advice."
Aaron sighed. "I should have known something like this would happen sooner or later. Did Vi seem upset about the breakup?"
"Not as much as I would have thought considering she supposedly really liked him. I think she was more upset about the thought of losing Noah," Keeley admitted as she sat down next to him.
He shook his head with a small smile on his face. "Well, it's about time Noah said something. It's been what…twelve, thirteen years?"
Honestly, she thought it was longer. That boy had been glued to Violet's said since they were toddlers. Even before he knew what love was it was obvious that he loved their daughter more than anything.
"I hope everything works out okay," she worried. "Losing Noah would crush her. You know he's basically her only real friend."
Aaron patted her hand. "You're worrying for nothing. If she already chose him over her boyfriend she'll realize she's actually in love with him sooner or later. You and I both know that he's the only person she's 100% comfortable around. Kind of like I am with you."
He was right. Violet's personality had always been quite similar to her father's. Both of them were 'one person only' kind of people. She wouldn't risk losing her person for anything.
Everything would work itself out…probably. There was no point worrying about it when they were on a different continent. Violet was an adult capable of making her own choices.
Keeley smiled at her husband and leaned down to kiss him. "You might be right. Come on. The hot tub beckons."

Kaleb raised an eyebrow. "Kind of a random request but I guess if you're really bored…they're probably in the top of a closet somewhere. Wish me luck not getting buried in falling things from the top shelf."
"Good luck, soldier."
He shook his head and laughed at how seriously she took his words before walking out the door. Ten minutes later he came back with a stack of albums and DVDs in clear plastic cases. He eyed the ancient tech in distaste.
"Mom really needs to transfer these over to digital files. It's lucky we even still have a DVD-compatible player lying around. Anyway, have fun looking at old stuff. What do you want for dinner later?"
Violet thought about it for a moment. "Something with red meat. It's been ages."
Kaleb nodded before heading back out of the entertainment room. "Shout for me when you need someone to put those DVDs in."
"I will, thanks Kal. You're the best." Violet blew him a kiss and he blushed slightly before muttering under his breath about how she was too mushy.
