I hated my first day of kindergarten. I was wearing what my mom thought was the definition of kindergarten chic...a white dress with neon blue bows at the hemline, which only went to my knees. 

I wanted to wear my usual jeans and a t-shirt with a pun phrase on the cover which back then I only saw as colorful designs. But no, instead my mom got me a whole new wardrobe of frilly dresses and glitzy accessories.

Needless to say, I wasn't happy. I was even unhappier when my mom kissed me goodbye after dropping me off. I didn't care who saw...I wailed. The kindergarten teacher looked distraught as the tears kept on coming. I remember her saying things like, 'We're going to have so much fun!' or 'Do you want to color!' Nothing helped until my mom got down on one knee and pulled me in for a hug.

She whispered, "Don't cry, baby. You look beautiful and you're going to make some amazing friends here." After she broke from the hug, she held my hands in hers. "Who's my fierce firecracker?"

"Me?" I answered weakly. 

"That's right!" she answered enthusiastically before waving good-bye to me again.

Before I could start crying again, my kindergarten teacher placed a box of crayons in my hands and steered me to a table filled with other little girls. There was only one seat left. I sat down and said, "Hello!" 

"Hi cryer" said the most beautiful girl I ever saw. With grey blue eyes and sun kissed blonde hair. 

"My name is Kat," I replied. "I'm not gonna cry anymore."

Another girl at the table with frizzy Brown hair and a smattering of freckles said, "Good, but you should find another table to sit at." I was about to ask her why when she said, "My momma said I'm not supposed to talk with black people."

"I'm not black. I'm American," I answered with unwavering confidence. "My mom isn't from America. She's from Columbus." Back then I didn't know how to say Colombia. Or, my whole first name for that matter.

The girl with frizzy Brown hair said, "Well whatever your name is, get away from us."

I didn't know how to react. I was shocked but still in my seat. Till a boy that was playing with dinosaurs ran too close to our table and knocked me off of my chair. "Watch it!" he yelled at me as he picked up the plastic dinosaurs from the floor.

"I'm sorry," I replied as I handed him a dinosaur. He didn't grab the one I was holding.

"Hmm?" I asked as I waved the plastic dinosaur I was still holding in front of him. He took a step away from me in disgust. "You can keep it. I don't want to catch your cooties."

"What's that?"

"An illness girls can give to boys by touch. It's deadly." That's when I noticed the girls and boys sat separately from each other. So, I knew whatever this boy just told me must be true. 

Which is why I ran to my cubby to look for the thin gloves my mom got me. They were unnecessary in the state of Arizona but my mom still insisted on thin gloves and a sweater just in case. I slipped on my gloves and held the dinosaur once more as I ran to the boy who was so informed about the cooties. 

He was talking with another boy who asked him if he could play with the dinosaurs too. The boy with all of the plastic dinosaurs shook his head. "I don't need you. I'm fine on my own. Now git!"

"Um, hello," I said as I handed the dinosaur to the boy who claimed all of the plastic dinosaurs in our kindergarten class as his. "Here you go." I again, held out the plastic dinosaur with my gloved hands.

The boy looked at my hands cautiously. "You sure that will be enough not to spread the cooties?"

"I think so," I replied. It was good enough for him as he snatched the dinosaur away. 

I was going towards the table with the girls again, when I noticed another girl was in my seat, coloring from the book I was just coloring in. "Aren't you going to go back to your friends?" dinosaur boy asked me. 

"I don't know," I replied. Then, I had an amazing idea. I was going to ask dinosaur boy my question since he seemed more informed about the world than me. "I have a question."

"Shoot." he replied as he sat on the floor and started arranging the plastic dinosaurs in a certain way. Then, he looked up at me from his project. "That means go 'head and ask."

"Do I look black to you?"

He pondered this for a moment before doling out his professional opinion. "No. You look tan. Who said you looked black?"

I pointed at the table where I was sitting. "One of them said she could not talk with me because I'm black." 

"Really....remember who?" he asked me as he arranged his dinosaurs seemingly disinterested in our conversation. 

"That one with frizzy Brown hair," I replied as I gestured a hand to the table again.

"Follow me," he said as he stood up from his dinosaur project. Before he moved completely away he cupped his hands in front of his mouth as he hollered, "I still have dibs on the dinos!!!!!"

I followed him as he made a beeline towards the teacher...until he stopped. He turned to me to say, "Looks like our teacher is still busy. Let's go find the Prince." Our teacher was very busy trying to reassure some clingy-looking parents. He grabbed my hand that still had gloves on them and pulled open the classroom door. Our teacher didn't even notice our departure.

"Is it alright to leave?"

"Sure it is," he replied with a flippant wave of his free hand. "In pre-school I left the room all of the time! Now, where would the Prince's office be?"

"You don't know?" I asked with shock.

As another adult walked down the hall he whispered, "Just let me do the talking." 

I nodded in understanding as I let dinosaur boy handle this situation...whatever it was. He smiled as he asked a lady teacher (who turned out to be a sub) of another class, "Hello! We're looking for the Prince's office."

She raised her eyebrows for a moment until realization dawned on her face. "Oh. You mean the Principal's office? Let me show you, honey."


Without complaint or questions, we were led to the Principal's office. The sub teacher told the Principal he had some visitors and we both entered his office after that.

This principal with blue black skin and a wearer of cartoon neckties would come to know us both throughout our elementary education: for good and bad reasons. "Hello, how can I help you?" he asked us.

"This girl named..." he looked at me questioningly.

"Kat."

"This girl named Kat spoke with a girl who told her she can't speak with black people when Kat is clearly tan. Right?"

"Yes," I replied. 

The Principal raised both of his eyebrows as he looked at me and asked, "Do you remember who told you this?"

"I don't know her name, but..."

"She's the only girl in our class with sticky-outy Brown hair. I can point her out if you need me to!"

"I'm sure that won't be necessary, Mister...?"

"My name's Kit, sir."

"Well, let's go find your classroom." That day the girl with frizzy Brown hair left school earlier than the rest of us. Her parents weren't happy to see her. Even though there was an empty seat at the table I sat at before, I didn't take it. 

Instead, I sat down on the ground next to Kit as he was playing with his dinosaurs, and he even let me name a few of them. He had sun kissed blonde hair just like the girl with blue grey eyes. Except, his eyes were a piercing dark brown that looked into your soul.

He was the only friend I made that day. His turned out to be the only friendship that mattered.

About two friends who meet in a surprising way as well as dealing with societal boundaries in their own way. It's the first part of the story. There's currently 33 parts of 'Kit and Kat'.

Today, I went to help Lai Ge deal with a ghost and ended up seeing a lot more than I wanted to.
Bing Jie was having an affair!
Not really, but she was dating!
For the base, that was a huge scandal!
A person from the Shui family would be dating a murderer!
If paparazzi were allowed into the area where the important officials lived, they would declare this a huge scoop!
And once again, I realize how hard it is to date a person of the Shui Family.
I wonder if Zuan, I mean Shui Yu, would ever consider me.
There's the fact that I'm younger than him by 10 years.
But once I grow up, I'm sure to be handsome like my dad and as strong as my grandpa!
Seriously though, I was worried.
What if someone started dating Zuan before I turned of age?
That'd be horrible!
I've already liked him for 2 years... I'll be pining him for at least, uh, 10 more?
...I've got a long way to go.

Zuan was getting more handsome lately, and even the people who had said that he looked too girly before were beginning to like him.

My cousin, a wonderful person she was, was very naive. She wasn't spoiled, but as she had friends picked by her parents and an environment made for safety from any bad thing, she didn't know much about the real world.
She wasn't even allowed to have one of those old smartphones.
She was very kind, innocent, naive, something not good when she finally went out on her first trip outside of the "safe zone". It was to the mall with her mother, and she got lost.
The thing is, my cousin, she wasn't beautiful per se, but she had an elegant and calming persona. She was wearing awfully expensive clothes and shoes too.
The marriage scammer probably picked up on that and thus decided to seduce her.
After she came from that one outside trip, she daydreamed all day long.
She also decided to pick up cooking and scalded her hands over and over. After her parents were notified, they banned her from the kitchen.
My cousin, she cried and cried. But she still didn't fight back.
One thing she knew though, was that her parents would never approve of a man not of their status dating their daughter.
But my cousin, as intelligent as she was, foolishly jumped into a hasty marriage.
She agreed to share property and practically handed over everything to her husband.
Then one day, he had disappeared, and the landlady told her to get out.
Her parents had met up with her before and asked if she really wanted to do this. They even threatened her with disowning her and cutting her off from the family.
My cousin, as close as a blood sibling, replied with such a serious attitude, that her father got mad and cut her off immediately there and then.
But she didn't show any sadness. She really had believed her husband's words of, once a woman gets married, she has no ties with her previous family, rather, she would start a new one.
When he disappeared, she had nothing left. She finished only high school. She didn't get to finish college. All her money and possessions were gone. She had no family members left. The contract she thought was the marriage certificate wasn't real.
The only thing I heard of her was that now, she was doing part time jobs and trying to live frugally but not knowing how. It makes sense, she was a rich girl, how could she get used to living like normal people?
She's now a zombie I think. Her parents, my aunt and uncle, checked on her often and sent news that they were going to hold a funeral for their ex-daughter.
I had forgotten her for some time, going to school and playing with friends. I felt sad of course, how could I not? But I realized again how scary the world was.
Maybe now that society's broken and a lot more simple due to the zombie apocalypse, it's better.
I think right now, it's the best time period.
Not for the people outside of the base, but for us, we're very thankful every day that we were lucky enough to get into this place.
It's a new start for many. Many opportunities await and there are still many things to be explored.
Haizz, I was still only an 8 year old!
I was busy with school and lessons every day, mom was even discussing with dad about sending me to cram schools for all kinds of stuff!
I shouldn't be worrying about stuff like this, I should be playing and having fun!
"Jing Shao! I don't have anything to do today, right?"

"Ok! Then let's go get some ice cream!"

Before he left, we did play a lot.
We got our ice cream. I got chocolate, he got cookie-n-cream, my bodyguards all got some too.
Then we went for several rounds of intense laser tag and I never won but it was still fun.
After that, we went to an internet cafe and played virtual simulations for a dinosaur park. Wow, dinosaurs were really huge. But even the tallest dinosaur wasn't taller than my dad's company headquarters. Hehe.
Anyways, I felt like it was a good day.
One of the best days of my life!
If we didn't count the incident with Bing Jie that is.
But it was still a great day!
I was still on a sugar rush from getting a 4th ice cream cone.
Hehe.
The limousine arrived and parked at its designated spot and we all said our goodbyes as some of the bodyguards went to their sleeping quarters already.
Then my individual bodyguards also left and I skipped all the way upstairs to my room.

Huh, whose feet are those?
...Oh no.
My parents were back.
And unfortunately, right now, it was way over my bed time(10 PM).
My deluxe watch showed the time, and for once, I wished it was broken and sped up too much.

 Gritting their teeth in jealousy, they could only swallow their anger for now and get into their business
On the other side, After finding a place to sit, the nine people started to look through the activities listed in the book. Initially, Sia was excited to see the list of activities but then after reading few pages, Sia lost her interest and was no longer willing to look at the book so she placed the book down with a dejected look.
Seeing Sia's action, Yang Jie asked "What's the matter sister Sia? why are you not reading the book anymore?"
Shaking her hands, Sia said "There's nothing interesting in it. Everything is only about books, projects, and other things. It's like the book was specially made for Great Li"
"Great Li?" Si Ming asked in confusion
"It's Xiao Li. She is the greatest fan of books among us all" Su Yan said thoughtfully
"Woah"
Looking at Sia's dejected face, Shen Yi could not help but ask curiously "Then what kind of activities do you like?"
As soon as Sia heard his question, her eyes immediately brightened. Looking very cheerful she started to list the activities she likes "I like Bungy Jumping, sky diving, hiking, camping, treasure hunt...Blah blah blah"

Seeing the boys confused gaze, Su Yan explained "Because she read somewhere that dinosaurs were unreasonable, stupid and are very scared of little animals like rats and cockroaches. So she refers them to as dinosaurs"
"huh? where did you read such things?" Shen Yi asked looking at Sia with some interest
"Comics"
"Comics? and did you just believe that it's true?" Si Ming asked
"Yeah...cause it was the only book from where I read about dinosaurs" Sia replied expressionlessly
"Everything written in comics is not true, they are all fiction. Why don't you read some encyclopedia if you want to know more?" Si Ming proposed
Shaking her hand, Sia said "Nah...I don't like to read about ugly things"
"....' 'Did this girl have an 'Ugly' syndrome?'
Feeling something amiss, Lu Jin asked: "Then why did you read about it in comics?"
Looking at Lu Jin as if he was stupid, Sia said in disdain "of course it's because the dinosaurs looked cute in the comic book"

Thinking of something again Lu Jin asked: "Then do you think all those girls who are scared of rats and ants and those who are very sensitive are also dinosaurs?"

"Then, what if An Ran is scared of those little animals? then is An Ran also dinosaur?"
Without even blinking her eyes, Sia spoke in disdain "Are you stupid? An Ran is a sweet gentle lady. How can she not be scared of little animals? and, every human will be scared of any or the other. What? Aren't you scared of any such animal? hmm?"
"...." 'I give up. How can she be reasonable to her friends but unreasonable to strangers?'
At the end of the day, the group decided to make Xiao Li the group leader the Shen Yi and assistant group leader since the two of them were very responsible people and the others decided to cooperate well with the leaders. 
Since they had enough time, the group decided to choose their first activity to complete it by the end of the day. 
After going through the list of activities, the group found one activity that could be completed before the end of the day.
Carrying a book and a pen in their hand, the group split themself up into two groups and headed in opposite directions. 
Since they had split up earlier they completed their work way earlier than they had expected. 
After completing the activity, Shen Yi and Xiao Li made a quick report and then went to the staff room to submit the record to their homeroom teacher, and meanwhile the remaining chose to sit in the canteen and wait for the other two. 
Just when the group made their way towards the canteen they happened to meet Lucy and Li Fie. 
As soon as Lu Jin saw the two girls his face suddenly turned ugly. Just when he was about to take a turn, the latter noticed him and yelled in a sweet voice "Brother Jin"
An Ran's face turned extremely ugly when she heard the later call her ex-boyfriend so sweetly but she could not show her discomfort anywhere and could only hide it to herself.

An Lin fell into a deep sleep and only woke up the next morning. He was immediately greeted by an aromatic scent. This was like the scent of a lotus under the moonlight; it was faint, but it was nonetheless quite a pleasant aroma.
He opened his eyes to find a miniature woman lying beside him.
The woman was sleeping on her side, and every inch of her body epitomized perfection.
Her breathing was slow, and even her tiny eyelashes trembled lightly. Her translucent skin, which was practically sparkling under the sunlight, was even more eye-catching than her flowing white dress.
She really was beautiful. An Lin couldn't help appreciate her beauty for a while longer before he slowly got up.
He initially planned to go to his classes. When he heard the faint sound of singing as he passed the window in the lobby, he knew that Xiao Hong was photosynthesizing again.
"Xiao Hong, how long has it been since I entered Tina's world?" An Lin opened the window before asking.
"Lalala…" Xiao Hong's singing faltered before she replied while wobbling her red, flowery head, "Master, you've been asleep for five days already! Xiaolan came to look for you, and she applied for a leave of absence for you upon seeing that you appeared to be in a state of deep slumber."
An Lin was a little taken aback to hear this. It had been almost a week already!
However, since Xu Xiaolan had already applied for a leave of absence for him, he might as well continue ditching classes.

"Hmph, you're clearly using an underhanded tactic like this to force me to get up!" Tina pouted with dissatisfaction, yet her eyes were glued to the frying pan.
"Then keep sleeping! My hypnosis technique is extremely effective, and it'll have you snoring in no time, woof!" Da Bai raised a paw with a sly smile.
"My hypnotism song is really effective as well, would Little Na like to hear it?" Xiao Hong offered in a sweet voice.
One less person meant one less portion of the food that had to be distributed. Hence, Xiao Hong and Da Bai were both looking at Tina with sinister expressions.
Tina immediately cowered against An Lin's shoulder in fear as she yelled at them to back off.
Following a noisy play fight between all the beast pets, the Kung Pao Chicken was ready.
Each beast pet was allocated a plate of Kung Pao Chicken, which they devoured with relish before licking their plates clean.
After a satisfying meal, An Lin handed a wood-type high-rank spirit pill for her to replenish her energy.
After that, he asked Tina to transmigrate him into her world again to watch it develop.
The world had now developed into a lively world that was bursting with vitality. It was filled with all types of flora and fauna to the point that An Lin struggled to keep up.
"Master, I can only increase the flow of time to about a hundred thousand times the normal rate. That is the extent of what I'm capable of," Tina suddenly said.
The world developed to become more and more diversified as the number of species expanded from several tens of thousands to over a million. Perhaps this was due to Tina's intervention, but new species of lifeforms came into existence at an extremely quick rate, and all of them appeared to be growing more and more intelligent.
Some of the creatures were no longer just barbaric animals. Instead, their eyes glowed with low-level intelligence, and some of them were even able to construct and use simple tools.
The age of the giant beasts soon descended upon the world.
The top of the food chain was dominated by huge ferocious beasts that had similar appearances to dinosaurs.
Some of them had thick, powerful bodies; some were extremely fast and agile, and some grouped together like massive swarms of locusts. These creatures soon became the rulers of this world.
"Grr, these big guys are so annoying! They reproduce so quickly, and they eat so much! All the plants and little animals are going to be eaten by them sooner or later!" Tina grumbled.
A light smile appeared on An Lin's face. These dinasouresque creatures were going to create an ecological imbalance where they would run out of food, following which their numbers would drastically decrease. It might even decrease to the point of extinction. 
The world always had a way to reach an equilibrium.
A thought suddenly occurred to An Lin as he looked down at the thriving dinosaurs. "Tina, can you make the dinosaurs a bit more intelligent?"
"More intelligent?" Tina considered the question for a moment before replying, "It's going to be impossible to make them as intelligent as highly intelligent lifeforms as their consciousness is on a lower level. However, I can alter their genetics to give them extremely basic learning abilities."
"Then give it a try!" An Lin suggested with an excited expression.
"And control their population too," he added.
"Oh…" Tina nodded obediently.
Thus, the next generation of dinosaurs mutated.
A brachiosaurus mother with a neck as long as a giraffe gave birth to a small dinosaur with a short, stubby neck and sharp carnivorous teeth.
The brachiosaurus mother was completely dumbfounded, and she felt like she had given birth to a fake child. However, she then took a look at the neighboring brachiosaurus mothers to find that some of them had also given birth to babies like hers, so her concerns were quelled.
These small dinosaurs were completely different from their brachiosaurus parents. Their limbs were long and slender, allowing them to move with impressive agility, and all of them ate carnivorous diets.
After the small brachiosauruses grew up, they became even pickier with their food. 
A pack of ferocious tyrannosaurus rex charged into the pack of brachiosauruses, and all the older generation of brachiosauruses fled for their lives. In contrast, all the fully-grown young brachiosauruses stood up and staged a counterattack against the tyrannosaurus rex…
After a brutal battle, the new brachiosauruses were able to eat all the tyrannosaurus rex as their mouths were bigger, and the force of their bites was more fearsome.
The older generation of brachiosauruses all stared at their children in shock.
The ferocious tyrannosaurus rex had been killed and even eaten by their children?
Within a large river, an aquatic dinosaur mother's body trembled as a male aquatic dinosaur swam around her in anxious circles.
"Pfff…" The aquatic dinosaur mother laid an egg.
A confused expression appeared on the male aquatic dinosaur's face as he looked at the egg.
Why was there only one egg?
Weren't there usually about a dozen eggs?
Could it be… that he was having problems down there?
At the same time, a pack of shark-tooth dragons with thick, long upper limbs began hurling huge stones at their enemies for the very first time in battle…
An Lin surveyed the developments with excitement on his face. He wanted to see just how the more intelligent dinosaurs would develop in this world. Even though she sped through all the mundane segments, she allowed time to resume its natural rate of progression at times for An Lin to better observe the habits and lifestyles of the dinosaurs.
Slowly, the dinosaurs split up into tribes.
Not only would different species fight amongst one another, but there were also even civil wars among dinosaurs from the same species at times.
Some of the more intelligent and skillful dragons invented all sorts of stone tools. Some of them even hung stones around their necks and other vulnerable areas as protective equipment to prevent their enemies from being able to bite into their vulnerable regions.
Soon… dinosaurs fused with the Spiritual Energy of Heaven and Earth were born.
They were known as dinosaur mutant beasts.

The young lady in her twenties bowed in gratitude and simultaneously apologized to the woman who found and surrendered the boy to the paging system of the mall.
That's the place where they were at the moment – at the office of the paging system.
The boy clutched the lady's skirt but wailed even harder. He knew he did something wrong and that he made his family worry about him.
"Kang Sola. You're being too harsh on the kid." Xue Guangxi followed behind, carrying a tiny girl the same age as the boy. The little girl giggled when she saw the crying boy. "Hihihi! There you are! Boo! Boo! Peekaboo!!" She giggled again. 
"Chen Lihua, you shouldn't laugh at your brother's crying face. This isn't a game of peekaboo!" Twenty-three-year old Xue Guangxi scolded the giggling girl in his arms. Soon enough, the girl felt bad at being scolded at and started crying, too.
"Uwaaahhh!!!!"
"Oh great, Guangxi! Just great! Both of them are crying now!"
"Hey, can you please exit the paging booth? I can't resume my work here with wailing kids around me!" The grumpy man in his mid-thirties shooed all the people around him.
The woman who found the boy commented curiously. "You must have had them young! Life must be hard, huh? You're both young to have kids!"
Kang Sola and Xue Guangxi exchanged timid looks and blushed. They always got that comment a lot. 
A. lot.
And every single time, every damn time, Xue Guangxi would play along, much to Kang Sola's dismay who would always attempt to correct the nosy bystanders. Before she could, Guangxi would already have played along.
"Ahh yes, it's the consequence of our tender love and impulsiveness. But kids are gifts from the heavens and we were gifted with two, so it's fine even if life's hard sometimes." He even tried to deliver his lines more dramatically as necessary.
"You're enjoying yourself quite tremendously, I see." Kang Sola would always comment when they were out of other people's earshot, always accompanied by such a defining furrow on her forehead.
Xue Guangxi would laugh hard. "HAHAHAHA!!!! Yes, tremendously! I get to play parenting with you! A silver lining in raising these kids!"
Kang Sola would sigh helplessly and let it go. "Enjoy it while it lasts, then."
"How long will you be staying in Beijing this time?" The lady in her early twenties asked the lanky, cheerful, young man.
"Two months tops. After that, when I return here, probably, for good, if I choose to settle here. I can choose wherever I would want to settle, you know."
"Good for you, then." The lady sighed again. "Then after two months, I would have to raise them all by myself! You'll get away from your responsibilities!" Towards the end of her statement, Kang Sola playfully increased the volume of her voice and acted like a suffering wife.
"Hey!" Xue Guangxi protested as onlookers threw disapproving looks at his direction. They could easily be misunderstood when they come in this group – a group of four with a pair of a good-looking young lady, a dazzling young man, and two toddlers who somewhat resemble them.
At twenty-three, Kang Sola had lost her pixie-cut pinkish purplish hair. Instead and in its place was a wavy waist-long hair on a half-top bun, and dyed balayage. She usually paired it with a choker accent regardless of what she wore. It looked more like a tattoo than a choker necklace. 
At twenty-three, Xue Guangxi had become quite fashionable with very neat suits paired with colorful tones and brave accents and tailored cuts, which one would not find too intimidating or intense but would make people draw their attention to him. His spiky hair was still there though.
It had been five years since the Chen twins were born. 
Originally, everyone was made to believe that the twins were both boys. However, when they finally came out, all were bewildered that it was a set of fraternal twins – a girl and a boy!
They named the boy Chen Lingtian and the girl Chen Lihua. Both were healthy and both showed advanced learning and development curves.
At two, both started to learn how to read and count. At three, both could understand the mechanics of games and play on their own. At four, both memorized the multiplication table, some poems, and smaller pieces of literature and recited it in front of the crowd composed of doting grandfathers, grandmothers, aunties, and uncles. 
At five, they were mesmerized by the universe, the formation of stars, and they've also memorized until the fourth row of the periodic table, with the understanding of its relation to stars. They also had the understanding of the initial formation of the earth, and its timeline, starting from way way back and touching the era of dinosaurs. 
That's why at five, their shared bedroom was decorated with myriads of glow-in-the-dark star wall stickers and lamps which showed constellations and nebulas at night before they sleep, and their toys were mostly dinosaurs whose names they knew by heart. They had wax figures of animals and they knew which kingdom they belong, and they had picture books of insects and sea creatures, and they also knew which phylum they belong. Learning became part of their play, and those two were the best playmates.

“I better go now. I’ll be fine on my own now.” She grinned again while fixing her hair, tucking it neatly under the cap and turning up the hood to cover half of her face. Her guise was complete. She knew that she would pass as a boy with her current look. So she uncaringly opened the door. With one last smile she thanked him again and left.
Just like that.
Chen Linyun’s peace and quiet has been perturbed.
‘Take responsibility, somehow.’ He said in his mind, to the girl who just left, eyes glimmering.
He gazed darkly at her fading silhouette but did not do anything anyway.

Chen Linyun had spend the night together in a dorm room with a drunken girl he had mistaken for a boy when he was still eighteen years old during his sophomore year in the university. Little did he know this short encounter will leave a mark in him, unable to let go of this woman who disappeared after that night. He was head-over-heels and had vowed to search for her in every part of the earth.

Five years later, they met again, but the woman he once knew wasn't the same as she was before. Just after a few years, she became a domineering leader of her own empire.

With his own charm, his adventure to chase the girl and convince her of his love starts in this story. 

It's a reverse role that the MC is a bit soft and domesticated but smart, while the FC is the strong-willed one - playful and teasing.

Chen Linyun stood up. “One more thing.” He grabbed her hand that was resting on the table. He gently guided it for her to stand up. She followed her lead and stood up, confused.
The next thing she knew, she was enveloped in his warm embrace. “I missed you.”
She blushed. She tried to push him away. 
His left hand was cradling the back of her head while his right hand secured her lower back. She was held tightly in his embrace.
“Just a little longer.”
She was helpless. “I’ll sue you for harassment.”
“You wouldn’t do that.” He finally released her and stared at her blushing face.
 “This time I won’t leave your side.”

2 Weeks went by, Raditz would occasionally spar with Goku and Gohan. Sometimes he would do some gravity training. And sometimes, he would also fly up to the Lookout and learn some Namekian language from Mr. Popo.

"Namekian language could always come in handy. Like if I need to make a wish with the Namekian Dragon Balls." Raditz thought positively.

After getting his new scouter, Raditz had been curious about how much battle power a single Fruit of Tree of Might gave. After eating a single fruit, his battle power rose from 395,000 to 445,000.

Raditz continued eating another 4 fruits and his battle power rose to 610,000.

"I feel quite bloated..." Raditz noticed that his body wasn't able to absorb all of the power contained in the fruit after eating so many of them. The more he ate, the less he gained.

"The first three fruits gave me 50,000 each, but then I made quite some lost eating the last two fruits." Raditz analyzed. He needed some time to fully digest all the energy contained in the fruits before he could eat more without diminished returns.

"But to think my battle power increased by over 200,000 just in a moment. This truly feels like doping." Raditz smiled. Because he knew these fruits were fruits for Gods to eat, there was no actual harm in eating them.

"I got 4 more ripe fruits and 50 unripe left. After digesting the energy, I'll try out and see if the unripe ones can still give me any energy. But geez, just how many fruits did Turles waste in order for him to gain over 400,000 battle power? With the diminishing returns, and considering how he was much weaker than I am now, his weaker foundation causes him to waste even more of the energy in the fruit... Did he eat like 30 of them? Such a waste." Raditz felt regretful that he came back late, if only he had come back before Turles had started eating the fruits, he would have several dozens of ripe fruit instead of the 9 he got.

Goku and Gohan would also occasionally bring Raditz around Mt. Paozu for a tour and to enjoy nature. Goku was especially happy after getting his own Gravity Chamber, he would sometimes spar with Raditz and Gohan, sometimes do some gravity training and sometimes take Gohan to play around.

Unlike in the anime, Icarus, the purple dragon appeared quite often around Goku's home and would often play with Gohan and also bring him deep into the forest.

"I've always thought dragons were extremely strong and powerful mythical creatures... To think there exists such weak dragons here in the Dragon Ball World. Or is it just a fake dragon and just some type of lizard that looks similar to a dragon?" Raditz wondered.

Because Chichi wanted to help out with the celebration, the group decided to visit Bulma a day earlier.

"OH MY GOD! I-is this really Bulma's home? It, it's so, so BIG!!!" Chichi exclaimed when they arrived at the doorsteps. Because they had flown over from the skies, Chichi had taken a good look and noticed that Capsule Corp was as big as a village. For such a big area in West City to be owned by a single family, one could imagine just how rich they were.

"Did Chichi forgot she's actually a princess? The Ox King is an actual king with a castle and his own land and endless wealth..." Raditz mocked Chichi in his mind. But maybe it couldn't be helped, Goku and Gohan were two big eaters, each day they had to eat over 10 families' worth of food. And Goku did not even have a job nor any income. If not for the money the Ox King had left them, they would probably be living in the wild hunting for their own food by now...

Raditz imagined Goku's family dressed in fur clothes like cavemen running in the mountains hunting giant dinosaurs for dinner.

There were a great number of stray cats, dogs and even stray dinosaurs roaming freely within Capsule Corp's premises since Gohan even brought Icarus with him, he and Icarus went to play with the stray animals jovially.

Since they were guests, Goku and Raditz did not spar nor do any training while they stayed at Bulma's home. Instead, Raditz enjoyed watching Chichi's comical expressions which changed every once in awhile as she was shocked by almost everything.

Most of all, she was so shocked by seeing the maid droids prepare all the food ingredients for tomorrow. They also did a great job cleaning the house, moving the chairs and tables and all kinds of chores.

Bulma generously gifted Chichi a few maid droids, but for them living in Mt. Paozu, they had little electricity to spare and could not support the few maid droids' battery recharging.

Luckily, being rich means having practically anything, Bulma simply brought out an electricity generator capsule and gave it to Chichi.

"Hm... Now Chichi will have a more relaxing life at home... I wonder if she'll end up keeping a closer eye on Gohan's studies..." Raditz had some useless thoughts.

Raditz was glad to receive his ultra stretchable training clothes from Bulma. She also made a kids' size for Gohan. At least now the two Saiyans will no longer end up naked after transforming into Great Apes.

"Hum... I don't remember such a big event happening in the original storyline... Oh right. They were all kinda dead at that time. And Goku was in Planet Yardrat at that time, so they probably didn't feel like celebrating." Raditz thought because he could not recall such an event as celebrating New Years happening in the anime.

The day passed and it was now the 31st December. Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, Chiatzu, Yajirobe, Oolong, Puaru, Master Roshi, Launch, and Turtle showed up at the celebration. But Bulma got quite a surprise, Piccolo also came. Raditz had forgotten to tell Bulma that he had invited Piccolo as well. And since everyone else had gotten along with Piccolo since their training at King Kai, only Bulma was shocked and scared silly by Piccolo's appearance.

"Happy New Years!!" Everyone said jovially before they dug into their plates of food.

Only Piccolo drank a few beverages without eating any solid food.

Launch had drunk a few too many cups of alcohol and started getting intimate with Tien Shinhan in public. Tien Shinhan's face flushed from embarrassment and scurried away somewhere faraway with Launch chasing after him.

Yamcha had also gotten drunk and started hitting on Bulma, which earned him a very loud slap to the face. Master Roshi also drunk, squeezed Bulma's breasts and got smashed in the head by a chair. Krillin, Chiatzu, Puaru, and Oolong laughed at Yamcha and Master Roshi in schadenfreude.

Raditz, Goku, Gohan, and Yajirobe had an eating contest. Maybe because he did not join their training at King Kai's place, he had no idea just how bottomless the trio's stomachs were.

Yajirobe, with his bloated stomach, looked like an inflated balloon rolled away like a ball was obviously the first to withdraw from the eating competition.

Gohan, due to his child physique, ended up being the 2nd to withdraw from the eating competition.

Raditz and Goku were closely matched, neither could pull ahead with more than 2 plates ahead of the other. Sometimes Raditz would lead, sometimes Goku. This continued for a very long time, so long the audience was so shocked their eyes were popping out and their jaws gaped so wide that even a baseball would fit in their gaping mouth.

In the end, Raditz raised the white flag. But not due to being too full, instead, he was feeling nauseous from eating so much and went to the side to drink soda.

Goku, for some reason, maybe because he wasn't feeling full yet, continued eating.

One day I woke up as Raditz in his spacespod flying toward Earth. I know the story, why should I die like an idiot? Eh? How come my Super Saiyan transformation is as strong as Super Saiyan 3!?

There's a Box-Office movie called Dinosaur World 4D that'll be showing tomorrow, my friends and I decided to watch it together, we're just college students so in order to watch the movie, we saved up our monthly allowances in advance when the trailer of it was released in Youtube, we are what you call otakus, not any other kinds of otakus that you normally see in the modern time today since anime has been taking over the era today. 

But we are not an anime otaku, 4 of my friends and me are Dinosaur Otakus, we're really knowledgeable about Dinosaurs, We know every species that have been discovered and we are always looking for news for new discoveries of new dinosaur bones, to widen our knowledge, one of my friends is a great computer geek, he even hacked NASA just to be sure that the information that we have in Dinosaurs are updated. 

I may group myself with them but my knowledge about dinosaurs are limited and is not comparable to their knowledge, even so I am pretty confident that I have more information about dinosaurs if you compare me to any other person other than my friends. 

We were really looking forward to watching this movie in the release date that we even persuaded our hacker friend not to hack the system of the one who'll produced the movie. 

After the day passed, morning quickly came and I was woke up by my alarm clock that was set to ring at 4am, well the movie will be showing at 8am. Even so I was so excited, my friends and I agreed to meet in the plaza 7am. 

After preparing everything and dressing myself in my casual clothes and I went out 6:30am I was waiting for my friends at the plaza when suddenly I saw a beautiful girl looking at me. It feels like she's staring at me like she knows me for a very long time, I was stricken stiff by her gazed that when she approached me I only reacted when she was a meter away from me and it seems to me that she's not stopping even though we're already close enough to have a conversation, before I even had the chance to say anything. She kissed me and whispered something in my ear. "Found You." 

That was the last thing I remembered before my consciousness faded away with the beautiful girl's face as the last thing I remember. 

After I came to be, I was now in a dark room, well it was dark that's why I call it a dark room. Although I was wrapped like a cocoon and the wrapper was wet, I thought I was abducted by someone but when I tried to scream, I realized that I can't even say anything, although I've been in this dark room for so long, strangely I don't get hungry and tired at all, it's just that I feel uncomfortable every now and then because I can't even move my body properly. 

After spending so much time in that dark room I was blinded by a light coming from a distance, as the light approaches I feel like someone is pulling me my head out of the room or something. I tried to scream again but all I can make are crying sounds. 

It's been so long since I saw light that It was hard to adjust to it, I spend another long-time just to have my vision back to how it is and another strange thing is that I can't move my body at all. In some situations when I feel hungry and need to eat, I try to scream again for help but someone just put a fleshy thing in my mouth and I try to bite it off and chew it but I realized that I have no teeth, and the meaty thing is just spraying milk every time I bite it, and that's how I survived through my hungry days. 

Everything was peaceful, I've grown accustomed to the feeding they do to me until I heard a loud boom and there was a lot of shaking, some screaming, crashing, it was chaos, I wish I could see what was going on, someone picked me up and wrapped me in a blanket and there was another shaking, maybe a giant rescued me and was running away from my kidnappers. 

Haha that was messed up, how can a giant exist anyway, since earlier I've been hearing a lot of roars everyone and then and screams, maybe the giant brought me to the movie centre and the showing of the Dinosaur World is already starting, nah even I won't believe that, because it's been a long time since I was kidnapped I'm not even surprised if there is a sequel to the movie now. 

My eyes have already started to adapt to the surroundings that I can already see even though it's blurred. 

There are also a lot of noises I've been hearing this entire time, I'm not really sure about the other languages that exists in our world but, I'm pretty sure that the noises that I've been hearing this entire time is spoken by tribes people, although I'm just 80% sure about it. 

I can also smell blood near me, maybe someone sprayed blood to the one who was carrying me or maybe it was my carrier's blood. I don't know because my vision is still 80% recovered. 

After a moment suddenly I heard a familiar voice, and strangely I can understand what he's saying.  

"There another underground village that collapsed huh" 

Although it was a little rough I can recognize this voice as we get along pretty well, it was my friend's voice which were the most timid and antisocial of our group. His name is Imo, he has dark skin and has normal physique and has 5'5 height. We get along pretty well since he always calls me his big bro. Even though I am only 1month older that he is. 

Finally after a while I opened my eyes I saw my friend but he looks a lot bigger than I remember him to be and suddenly realized that I can see clearly and tried to speak and by some miracle I can speak, although I was just mumbling, I was so excited that I screamed at the giant Imo. 

 

"HEY IMO!!!"

The mighty dinosaurs who roamed and ruled the earth for 65 millions of years were wiped out by the meteors... but here in the parallel side of the Earth... the meteor didn't came, in order to survive from the dinosaurs some of the humans decided to live underground to hide from the mighty reptiles. 
What will happen to the earth now that the dinosaurs are still alive???
