Imagine if one day you suddenly woke up in the era of Dinosaurs?

Well, Edward did.

So why don't we find out how he had lived his life in the Era of Dinosaurs? In case, you got transported one day too.

I hated my first day of kindergarten. I was wearing what my mom thought was the definition of kindergarten chic...a white dress with neon blue bows at the hemline, which only went to my knees. 

I wanted to wear my usual jeans and a t-shirt with a pun phrase on the cover which back then I only saw as colorful designs. But no, instead my mom got me a whole new wardrobe of frilly dresses and glitzy accessories.

Needless to say, I wasn't happy. I was even unhappier when my mom kissed me goodbye after dropping me off. I didn't care who saw...I wailed. The kindergarten teacher looked distraught as the tears kept on coming. I remember her saying things like, 'We're going to have so much fun!' or 'Do you want to color!' Nothing helped until my mom got down on one knee and pulled me in for a hug.

She whispered, "Don't cry, baby. You look beautiful and you're going to make some amazing friends here." After she broke from the hug, she held my hands in hers. "Who's my fierce firecracker?"

"Me?" I answered weakly. 

"That's right!" she answered enthusiastically before waving good-bye to me again.

Before I could start crying again, my kindergarten teacher placed a box of crayons in my hands and steered me to a table filled with other little girls. There was only one seat left. I sat down and said, "Hello!" 

"Hi cryer" said the most beautiful girl I ever saw. With grey blue eyes and sun kissed blonde hair. 

"My name is Kat," I replied. "I'm not gonna cry anymore."

Another girl at the table with frizzy Brown hair and a smattering of freckles said, "Good, but you should find another table to sit at." I was about to ask her why when she said, "My momma said I'm not supposed to talk with black people."

"I'm not black. I'm American," I answered with unwavering confidence. "My mom isn't from America. She's from Columbus." Back then I didn't know how to say Colombia. Or, my whole first name for that matter.

The girl with frizzy Brown hair said, "Well whatever your name is, get away from us."

I didn't know how to react. I was shocked but still in my seat. Till a boy that was playing with dinosaurs ran too close to our table and knocked me off of my chair. "Watch it!" he yelled at me as he picked up the plastic dinosaurs from the floor.

"I'm sorry," I replied as I handed him a dinosaur. He didn't grab the one I was holding.

"Hmm?" I asked as I waved the plastic dinosaur I was still holding in front of him. He took a step away from me in disgust. "You can keep it. I don't want to catch your cooties."

"What's that?"

"An illness girls can give to boys by touch. It's deadly." That's when I noticed the girls and boys sat separately from each other. So, I knew whatever this boy just told me must be true. 

Which is why I ran to my cubby to look for the thin gloves my mom got me. They were unnecessary in the state of Arizona but my mom still insisted on thin gloves and a sweater just in case. I slipped on my gloves and held the dinosaur once more as I ran to the boy who was so informed about the cooties. 

He was talking with another boy who asked him if he could play with the dinosaurs too. The boy with all of the plastic dinosaurs shook his head. "I don't need you. I'm fine on my own. Now git!"

"Um, hello," I said as I handed the dinosaur to the boy who claimed all of the plastic dinosaurs in our kindergarten class as his. "Here you go." I again, held out the plastic dinosaur with my gloved hands.

The boy looked at my hands cautiously. "You sure that will be enough not to spread the cooties?"

"I think so," I replied. It was good enough for him as he snatched the dinosaur away. 

I was going towards the table with the girls again, when I noticed another girl was in my seat, coloring from the book I was just coloring in. "Aren't you going to go back to your friends?" dinosaur boy asked me. 

"I don't know," I replied. Then, I had an amazing idea. I was going to ask dinosaur boy my question since he seemed more informed about the world than me. "I have a question."

"Shoot." he replied as he sat on the floor and started arranging the plastic dinosaurs in a certain way. Then, he looked up at me from his project. "That means go 'head and ask."

"Do I look black to you?"

He pondered this for a moment before doling out his professional opinion. "No. You look tan. Who said you looked black?"

I pointed at the table where I was sitting. "One of them said she could not talk with me because I'm black." 

"Really....remember who?" he asked me as he arranged his dinosaurs seemingly disinterested in our conversation. 

"That one with frizzy Brown hair," I replied as I gestured a hand to the table again.

"Follow me," he said as he stood up from his dinosaur project. Before he moved completely away he cupped his hands in front of his mouth as he hollered, "I still have dibs on the dinos!!!!!"

I followed him as he made a beeline towards the teacher...until he stopped. He turned to me to say, "Looks like our teacher is still busy. Let's go find the Prince." Our teacher was very busy trying to reassure some clingy-looking parents. He grabbed my hand that still had gloves on them and pulled open the classroom door. Our teacher didn't even notice our departure.

"Is it alright to leave?"

"Sure it is," he replied with a flippant wave of his free hand. "In pre-school I left the room all of the time! Now, where would the Prince's office be?"

"You don't know?" I asked with shock.

As another adult walked down the hall he whispered, "Just let me do the talking." 

I nodded in understanding as I let dinosaur boy handle this situation...whatever it was. He smiled as he asked a lady teacher (who turned out to be a sub) of another class, "Hello! We're looking for the Prince's office."

She raised her eyebrows for a moment until realization dawned on her face. "Oh. You mean the Principal's office? Let me show you, honey."


Without complaint or questions, we were led to the Principal's office. The sub teacher told the Principal he had some visitors and we both entered his office after that.

This principal with blue black skin and a wearer of cartoon neckties would come to know us both throughout our elementary education: for good and bad reasons. "Hello, how can I help you?" he asked us.

"This girl named..." he looked at me questioningly.

"Kat."

"This girl named Kat spoke with a girl who told her she can't speak with black people when Kat is clearly tan. Right?"

"Yes," I replied. 

The Principal raised both of his eyebrows as he looked at me and asked, "Do you remember who told you this?"

"I don't know her name, but..."

"She's the only girl in our class with sticky-outy Brown hair. I can point her out if you need me to!"

"I'm sure that won't be necessary, Mister...?"

"My name's Kit, sir."

"Well, let's go find your classroom." That day the girl with frizzy Brown hair left school earlier than the rest of us. Her parents weren't happy to see her. Even though there was an empty seat at the table I sat at before, I didn't take it. 

Instead, I sat down on the ground next to Kit as he was playing with his dinosaurs, and he even let me name a few of them. He had sun kissed blonde hair just like the girl with blue grey eyes. Except, his eyes were a piercing dark brown that looked into your soul.

He was the only friend I made that day. His turned out to be the only friendship that mattered.

About two friends who meet in a surprising way as well as dealing with societal boundaries in their own way. It's the first part of the story. There's currently 33 parts of 'Kit and Kat'.

"Your Majesty, those three humans have left!" a man, coming from the behind of the room, said.

"Ok!" Dragon King nodded slightly, then looked at the man: "Daniel, do you have anything to say?"

"Your Majesty, the Earth Dragon King must have a fate tablet in order to resurrect himself? Do we send someone to find and bring back that fate tablet? Stop the Earth Dragon King's resurrection?" Daniel said.

"The fate tablet was once a treasure of my dragons. Naturally, I want it to return to my dragon family. When the fate tablet was lost, we have long suspected that the Earth Dragon King did it. At this time, proved!"

"So, Your Majesty, how should this be done? The humans ..."

The Dragon King interrupted and said, "You don't need to worry about the humans. You send dragons to follow those humans secretly. Once those humans find the fate tablet, you should grab it back and don't hurt their lives.

The fate tablet is of great importance, and we must not let more people know that it is in our hands, otherwise, it will likely cause even greater disasters to my dragon family! "

"Yes, Your Majesty, Daniel knows how to do it!"

"How come you never told me that you had such wonderful magic? Area Detection will help us navigate our way in the desert without a map. It's also good for finding underground caves. I don't know how many caves will reach the bedrock level but it's better than not knowing there was a cave beneath our feet."
Truen smirked. "I thought you said you had a plan?"
Hearing his best friend tease him about his lack of planning skills made Zero blush. In all honesty, Zero did make a plan. He just didn't think that far ahead.
"I planned! We just needed to find the desert poppy and a gnome city then get back. We already have a map of the desert so I thought we could mark out the place that had oasis towns as places to ask for directions."
While there was nothing wrong with Zero's plan, there was still too much uncertainty in it. Truen didn't know how Zero managed to survive so far but then he remembered that there was always someone else beside Zero to help him out. Even if there weren't anyone, Mii would always be the one scolding the doctor for his lack of foresight. His worries about Zero's future were unfounded and Truen felt a little silly for even considering it.
"Truen, what do you think we should name these sand walkers? Axel said that they are both females."
Whatever Truen thought Zero was going to say, it most certainly was not about naming some sand walkers. "Is this very important? I thought we're trying to plan what we're going to do about getting to Derby Desert and finding a solution to your village's shortage of manpower."
"Nah, those can solve themselves," Zero said airily. "I have an idea of what to do about them. The more important thing is to think about how we can name these beasts. According to Merlin, naming things can give them power. While they are strong, I think they need something extra against the harsh terrains of the desert. Also, regular beasts won't stand a chance against the dense mana in the air at Endow Hill. I also don't want them to be overwhelmed if Bob is going to join us."
Now that Zero mentioned it, the doctor had a good point. Horses were scared of dragons and that was one of the main reasons why Vrald and his group travelled mostly on foot. Olaf was still a dragon even if he was in his human form. Most humans cannot tell but it wasn't the same for animals and were folks.
"I don't really know. How about you name them? Just don't name them too powerful. I don't want to have to deal with questions about having two legendary evolved beasts."
Zero raised a brow. "I'm not going to do that. Besides, what can sand walkers evolve into? Dragons?"
The archer took a good look at the strange creatures and frowned. "Possibly. They're lizard-like with a bit of bird and fish on the side. If anything, I'd think of a basilisk instead of a dragon but that's not my point. Don't overdo it and control your magic when you name them."
Point noted, Zero threw name ideas at their mounts. The sand walkers weren't very responsive and Zero sighed. He didn't want to stick a name to them if they didn't like it. Surely there would be a sign if they liked a name, right?
They stopped for lunch and Zero was mentally exhausted. He came up with over three hundred names but neither of the sand walkers reacted to them. Still, the doctor wasn't going to give up. Truen's suggestions didn't sound much better. His friend mentioned that these sand walkers resembled velociraptors on the previous Earth. Although dinosaurs were extinct, books about it could still be found. Mii had been nice enough to find an illustration on that dinosaur for Zero who spent his time reading up a lot about dinosaurs. The naming was forgotten for a few days as they travelled in silence with Zero occasionally sharing fun facts about dinosaurs.
"I can't believe these sand walkers are relatives of dinosaurs from the old Earth. Unlike their terrifying cousins, they eat straw instead of meat. That's good to know. Also, do you think they can swim? Those webbed feet make me think they can."
Truen shrugged. "I have no idea, Zero. The one way to find out is to shove one of them into the water and see if they can swim. I highly suggest against it. Pulling a thrashing beast out is going to be more difficult than pushing them in."
Zero considered it and watched as his mounts ate. Then, an idea came to him. He wasn't known to be the best with names but surely, it wouldn't be anything as bad as the man who named dinosaurs after a direct translation from the language of the titans "Terrible Reptile" right?
To make it fancy-sounding, Zero decided to name them in a similar language of gods. He named Truen's mount "Ela" for "Light-footed" and his mount "Grigoria" for "Quick-footed" to wish them a speedy journey. Truen watched as the names became a line of runes, shackling the necks of the sand walkers as they evolved.
"How much magic did you put into their names?" the archer asked when the sand walkers transformed. They were beginning to shed feathers and Truen wondered if they were going to see a basilisk.
Zero watched as the sand walkers moulted their scales and shed their feathers to grow new ones. Ela grew some fiery orange feathers and dark green scales that reflected the sunlight. Grigoria grew yellow feathers and had dark blue scales that also reflected the sunlight. Both sand walkers were easier to identify after their transformation and Zero grinned. He took out a hunting knife and prodded the new scales, they were solid as steel.
"What do you think about armoured sand walkers?" he asked.
Truen nodded in approval. "You did well. At least now we can tell which mount is mine. Still, are the feathers merely for show or can they actually fly now?"
Zero shrugged. "Only one way of finding out. We shove them off the cliff and tie a rope on them in case they can't. Though I must say, pulling up a beast as big as this will be more tedious than pushing them off a cliff."
Truen took two seconds to understand why those words sounded familiar. Zero was learning how to throw the words he used back at him. Feeling annoyed but proud that this doctor was growing, Truen rolled his eyes and dismissed the idea. It was way too much work.
"Let's go. I can smell the forest of Endow Hill now, we must be close to the border. If we're fast, we can reach it by late afternoon and look for a place to set up camp. I don't know about you but I feel like hunting for pheasants."
Zero agreed. The food offerings by the giants might be good but nothing beats the thrill of hunting and cooking wild pheasants over a campfire.

Seeing this Dan smiled and said:

 

"Ok, it is decided, tonight I will give each of you a drop and we will have our first blood bath."

 

After that was dealt with, everyone had launch together before returning to what they were doing before.

 

When they left Dan felt as if he was going to remember something, but he just wasn't able to, it was one of those memories which were blurred in his mind, he was able to see that the memory was from the world which old Ben had memories of, the one with dinosaurs and superhuman people who had strong body powers, it's just that the memory was blurry and unclear, but he know what it was about because he was able to remember a part of it and that part said 'body strengthening'.

 

As he wasn't able to remember it clearly he throw it to the back of his mind, then he called old Frank and asked him to fill the baths in his and the others rooms with hot water later when it's time for sleep.

 

The rest of the day passed with everyone doing what they were supposed to do, Dan also asked Robert to take him to the ships the day after.

 

The sun had already passed long ago when all of them returned to their rooms to sleep; before they separated Dan gave each of them a little bottle with two drops of dragon's blood in them, and asked them to use only one the first time because using more than that was suicide as most human wouldn't handle that it at first.

 

He also returned to his room and found that the bath was ready so he dropped the drop of dragon blood.

 

It was just one drop but it made all the water red, Dan then took of all his clothes and entered the water.

 

As soon as he did he felt as if his skin was being stabbed by needles, and when that happened the memory which was blurry in his head! became clear and he finally understood it.

 

The memory was about a technique that the people on that world used to temper their bodies in that world, they usually do that by bathing in the blood of strong and abnormal dinosaurs.

 

When those memories became clear in his head, he didn't even think about it a lot before getting up and taking the needle which Anie gave him as he forget to return it to her.

 

After that he took a big breath and entered the bath, every part of his body was in the water even his head, and then he started to stab himself all over his body using the needle, between his eyebrows, his joints, the back of his head and many other places like that.

 

His movement were clean and stable as if he did that thousands of times before.

 

he felt the need to breath after a minute and half had passed, but he didn't leave instead he calmed his beating heart and relaxed his mussels, as he did that he felt a warm current streaming through every part of his body entering from the places where he stabbed himself.

 

As time passed and more of that warm current entered his body the feeling of the need to breathe disappeared and his heart beats started getting slower and slower, till he finally lost his consciousness and fall deep in the water.

 

Splash!

 

Dan woke up and started taking big breaths of air, he felt as if his lounges were going to explode with each breath yet it still didn't seemed enough.

 

It took him a few seconds to calm himself down, and for his breathing to return to normal, when it did he stood up and he found that some objects in his room felt shorter, than he walked to a big mirror on the bathroom, and saw that he had grown a few centimeters taller, and the little bit of unwanted fat on his body was nowhere to be seen.

 

He also felt refreshed and as if his body was full of power, it was the first time he felt such weird feeling, it was as if he was in a whole new body.

 

Then he turned his head to look at the water, he saw that the water didn't have any signs of the color red, but it wasn't clear it was somehow gray and had a foul smell.

 

He calmed himself and took a normal bath with clear water before wearing his clothes; he took one last look at his reflection on the mirror, shook his head before leaving the room.

 

He didn't know what time it was so he stopped one guard and asked him what hour it was supposed to be, the guard answered him saying that it was around seven in the morning, when Dan asked him about how they kept note of time in the base, he told him that they had some hour-glasses in the base.

 

Leaving the guard, Dan moved to the meeting room and set there, it had become a habit for all of them to have their meals together.

 

While waiting for the others to come he started thinking about the blood bath, and the body tempering technique that he remembered when he entered the bath, he knew that the changes that he experienced most be more then the other five, as from what he heard from old Frank even though blood baths are good for humans, only one season won't have such a major effect like the one he had.

 

So the only explanation for what happened to him was that the body tempering technique which he remembered, after all in his memories when hat body tempering technique made it to its higher levels it will allow normal humans to fight and kill dinosaurs bare handed.

 

Thinking about the memories in his mind of peoples fighting dinosaurs bare handed made him excited but he hurriedly calmed himself, as he knew that only two drops of dragon's blood won't be able turn him to that.

 

He also started thinking about the relationship between the blood baths and the technique he remembered, it was quite obvious that the blood baths were probably a backward form of the body tempering technique, maybe that was the reason why he remembered the technique in the first place, because they had a lot in common.

 

Soon after the other five entered the room, and just as Dan expected their changes weren't as big as his.

 

The other five showed surprised expressions when they entered the room and saw Dan there, especially after he stood up when they entered as they were able to see how long he had became and his suite which became smaller then him.

 

"Just... What the f***k happened to you?" Nero asked with a weird expression on his face.

 

"Well a lot happened, set down I'll tell you after we finish breakfast." Dan said with somehow of an embarrassed smile, he knew when he put his clothes on that they were way too small for him, but he didn't have any other thing to wear so he wore them reluctantly.

 

"Hey guys guess what? I can control my power." as Dan was getting down he heard Katherine happy voice, it seemed as if she wasn't able to wait till after breakfast to tell them.

 

"Wh... What did you just say?" Dan asked, that was something he didn't expect.

 

"I said that after the blood bath I can control my power, I can feel the power passing through my body and I don't need to concentration as long as I had to do yesterday to control it, it's much easier, and this may seem weird but I somehow feel as if the power in my body is stronger, it's just a little bit stronger but I can feel it." Katherine said excitedly.

 

"What about you then brother?" Anie asked her brother as soon as Katherine finished her words.

 

"Yeah I'm better and now. I can feel my power flowing in my body unlike yesterday." Robin said while patting his sisters head, the happiness was apparent in his voice.

 

"And you Nero, how is it?" Dan asked.

 

"Well it's harder to tell with abilities like mine but I do feel that there is a small change from yesterday, like how even without concentrating I can smell a dragon's smell on all... Wait I can't feel it coming from you!"

 

Nero was going to say how his powers got a little bit stronger and even though he tried to hide it, it was apparent that he was happy, but then his expression changed as he looked at Dan and shouted, he just couldn't understand how no matter how normal the thing was supposed to be, if Dan became a part of it, something weird will happen.

The one to respond first was the Fash as he couldn't stop chuckling to himself.

"Yes, everyone loves those dinosaurs and no is allowed to turn them back. I even head a Save The Dinosaurs foundation was made, they haven't been letting anyone near them to turn them back to normal, haha, also you should have seen how the grand John Constantine was running out of the museum by a group of grade-schoolers, haha." Barry

After hearing Flash words Batman looked around the table to find all League magic-users looking away from his penetrating stare and it was up to Dr. Fate to speak up for them as he wasn't affected by Batman's deadly stare.

Also, the main branch was summoned next door to your home Bruce, be careful around the girl." Martian Manhunter

After giving his report Batman turned to look at Wonder Woman ignoring Martian manhunter's warning to see if Wonder Woman had anything to add about her end of the investigation.

Wonder Woman seeing that it was her time to talk stood up and coughed once gathering everyone's attention before she began to talk.

Cat seeing Kronos immediately tells him to go to a nearby computer to edit everything that's sent to him and he does what he's told without giving much thought and like everyone else was affected by Cat's aura working like there's no tomorrow.

Kronos did his work as told and only was able to finish everything by lunchtime, with a tired look on his face. As he was working Kaguya was sitting near him looking at his work with a smile, as she had nothing better to do. As for everyone around Kronos and her were staring at them intensely from time to time.

The men were mostly had jealous stares for Kronos because he always has a beautiful woman by his side and the ones looking at Kaguya were just ogling her body but didn't dare get near her as they felt if they did they will lose something important. As for the woman they looked at Kronos with some disgust or interest as he looks like a handsome playboy in their eyes and as for Kaguya it was pity and jealousy as she's one of the most beautiful women they ever saw and it also looks like she's being played by Kronos the Playboy.

Once Kronos was done with all his work both him and Kaguya left to a break room as Kronos wasn't going to leave right away as Linda had texted him that she wanted to meet him later in the day.

There's a Box-Office movie called Dinosaur World 4D that'll be showing tomorrow, my friends and I decided to watch it together, we're just college students so in order to watch the movie, we saved up our monthly allowances in advance when the trailer of it was released in Youtube, we are what you call otakus, not any other kinds of otakus that you normally see in the modern time today since anime has been taking over the era today. 

But we are not an anime otaku, 4 of my friends and me are Dinosaur Otakus, we're really knowledgeable about Dinosaurs, We know every species that have been discovered and we are always looking for news for new discoveries of new dinosaur bones, to widen our knowledge, one of my friends is a great computer geek, he even hacked NASA just to be sure that the information that we have in Dinosaurs are updated. 

I may group myself with them but my knowledge about dinosaurs are limited and is not comparable to their knowledge, even so I am pretty confident that I have more information about dinosaurs if you compare me to any other person other than my friends. 

We were really looking forward to watching this movie in the release date that we even persuaded our hacker friend not to hack the system of the one who'll produced the movie. 

After the day passed, morning quickly came and I was woke up by my alarm clock that was set to ring at 4am, well the movie will be showing at 8am. Even so I was so excited, my friends and I agreed to meet in the plaza 7am. 

After preparing everything and dressing myself in my casual clothes and I went out 6:30am I was waiting for my friends at the plaza when suddenly I saw a beautiful girl looking at me. It feels like she's staring at me like she knows me for a very long time, I was stricken stiff by her gazed that when she approached me I only reacted when she was a meter away from me and it seems to me that she's not stopping even though we're already close enough to have a conversation, before I even had the chance to say anything. She kissed me and whispered something in my ear. "Found You." 

That was the last thing I remembered before my consciousness faded away with the beautiful girl's face as the last thing I remember. 

After I came to be, I was now in a dark room, well it was dark that's why I call it a dark room. Although I was wrapped like a cocoon and the wrapper was wet, I thought I was abducted by someone but when I tried to scream, I realized that I can't even say anything, although I've been in this dark room for so long, strangely I don't get hungry and tired at all, it's just that I feel uncomfortable every now and then because I can't even move my body properly. 

After spending so much time in that dark room I was blinded by a light coming from a distance, as the light approaches I feel like someone is pulling me my head out of the room or something. I tried to scream again but all I can make are crying sounds. 

It's been so long since I saw light that It was hard to adjust to it, I spend another long-time just to have my vision back to how it is and another strange thing is that I can't move my body at all. In some situations when I feel hungry and need to eat, I try to scream again for help but someone just put a fleshy thing in my mouth and I try to bite it off and chew it but I realized that I have no teeth, and the meaty thing is just spraying milk every time I bite it, and that's how I survived through my hungry days. 

Everything was peaceful, I've grown accustomed to the feeding they do to me until I heard a loud boom and there was a lot of shaking, some screaming, crashing, it was chaos, I wish I could see what was going on, someone picked me up and wrapped me in a blanket and there was another shaking, maybe a giant rescued me and was running away from my kidnappers. 

Haha that was messed up, how can a giant exist anyway, since earlier I've been hearing a lot of roars everyone and then and screams, maybe the giant brought me to the movie centre and the showing of the Dinosaur World is already starting, nah even I won't believe that, because it's been a long time since I was kidnapped I'm not even surprised if there is a sequel to the movie now. 

My eyes have already started to adapt to the surroundings that I can already see even though it's blurred. 

There are also a lot of noises I've been hearing this entire time, I'm not really sure about the other languages that exists in our world but, I'm pretty sure that the noises that I've been hearing this entire time is spoken by tribes people, although I'm just 80% sure about it. 

I can also smell blood near me, maybe someone sprayed blood to the one who was carrying me or maybe it was my carrier's blood. I don't know because my vision is still 80% recovered. 

After a moment suddenly I heard a familiar voice, and strangely I can understand what he's saying.  

"There another underground village that collapsed huh" 

Although it was a little rough I can recognize this voice as we get along pretty well, it was my friend's voice which were the most timid and antisocial of our group. His name is Imo, he has dark skin and has normal physique and has 5'5 height. We get along pretty well since he always calls me his big bro. Even though I am only 1month older that he is. 

Finally after a while I opened my eyes I saw my friend but he looks a lot bigger than I remember him to be and suddenly realized that I can see clearly and tried to speak and by some miracle I can speak, although I was just mumbling, I was so excited that I screamed at the giant Imo. 

 

"HEY IMO!!!"

The mighty dinosaurs who roamed and ruled the earth for 65 millions of years were wiped out by the meteors... but here in the parallel side of the Earth... the meteor didn't came, in order to survive from the dinosaurs some of the humans decided to live underground to hide from the mighty reptiles. 
What will happen to the earth now that the dinosaurs are still alive???

Slowly my eyes opened and I looked around to find myself in a car of some kind. It looked oddly...vintage to my eyes. Like a car from the early nineties.

I looked to my left and saw a middle-aged man with his hair thinning around the top but rather full on the sides and back. It was grayish in color. He looked a bit too...I don't know, big city lawyer-type to be of any use outside of when you want to sue someone out their ass or you are getting sued out your ass.

But apart from that, I had to wonder...where the hell am I?

Looking around a bit I stopped when I saw two kids and a sleeping woman in the back of the car. One of the kids was a small boy who looked around 11, and the other was a girl who looked around 13 or 14.

The boy was pretty small, with longish brown hair that was pretty messy and curled at the end, while the girl had blonde hair pulled back into a tight ponytail with only a fringe on her forehead.

Both of them were wearing some pretty...retro clothes. It only made the earlier observation about the car's design even more outstanding in my memory.

Why is that?

Just as I was about to take in the woman asleep next to the kids, I finally came out of my daze and realized the kids and lawyer man was frozen. Not just still like a statue, but they weren't breathing, nor was their heart beating if the lack of movement around their jugulars was anything to go by.

...I keep getting more and more questions without any goddamn answers.

As if to prove me wrong or simply to just answer my complaint, a screen popped up in front of me.

[God's Mission]

[Jurassic Park, 5 Person Mission

Mission: Survive until the end of the 'plot' when rescue will arrive.

Side Mission: Protect the Main Characters of 'Jurassic Park' from death. Each death for any of the main characters will deduct 1500 points from every Player of Team USA. Reward upon completion: 1000 and a D-Rank Reward.

Terror Infinity.

Well, oh shit.

Remembering back to the pop-up on my laptop, I thought to myself that I should have said no. Even if it was just to avoid a possible virus. Damn my insatiable curiosity.

Taking deep breathes I focused on keeping a calm mind like my training was telling me to, but I was interrupted by a smooth yet fierce voice.

"Where am I? Who are you?"

I looked back to be met by some amber eyes which looked at me angrily. I raised my hand, motioning for this tigress of a woman to calm down before speaking.

"There should be a screen somewhere in front of you, if not, think about 'Mission Details' or something similar. I'm in the same situation as you, I didn't kidnap you," I spoke evenly, knowing that snapping back at her would lead to an argument we didn't have the time for.

She went to reply with a scowl but she froze while looking into mid-air.

Guess the screen appeared. While she was reading that I wondered about the mission we had.

Jurassic Park. Dinosaurs. Inaccuracies about Velociraptors. Danger. Yada yada yada. Honestly, I could see why it was only a 5 Person Mission. You just have to follow the plot and not act like an idiot if you want to survive.

And if you're like me, the Dinos could be a useful source of points.

'What are you?' You may be asking? Well, disembodied voice in my head I, Jason, am a genetically engineered soldier. I'm stronger, faster, smarter, and overall just better than even Olympic-level humans. So, I feel like I have a good shot at killing some Dinos if I can get my hands on a gun. 'What's the rest of your story?' Well, disembodied voice, that's very rude of you to ask. At least take me on a date first.

...Let's just say they didn't fully perfect the mental modifications. The constant war from the age of 10 may have had it's effects as well.

Luckily I was mentally fortified enough to not break down despite being a part of this death game, huh?!

Pulling me out of my thoughts, literally, the amber-eyed beauty from before pulled on my collar and looked me dead in the eyes, practically growling words out at me.

"What did you do to me?" her pupils were constricted until they were pinpoints and she glared at me with anger only a woman could conjure up.

Once again putting my hands up in a gesture for her to calm down, I evenly replied despite the inner feelings of annoyance this girl was causing to brew inside of me, "Again, I'm in the same situation as you. I haven't drugged you either. This is real, look around you - these are the characters from the first Jurassic Park movie. This would be easier if you'd read--" she cut me off before I could say it which annoyed me even more but when I heard what she said that annoyance disappeared pretty quickly.

"Terror Infinity, right? Well, I have read it. I was just sure this was a prank...a pretty shitty one but..." she let out a sigh as she looked over to the children who were frozen in place, "This is real, isn't it?"

Internally rolling my eyes at her, I finally snapped back at her with some light-hearted sarcasm, "What gave it away? The ethereal screen in front of you or the people frozen next to us? Geez. You can also let go of my collar now, I ain't going anywhere," I smirked at her as she got a tad flustered and quickly let go of my collar.

Though I've got to say, I am surprised such a pretty woman has read a novel like Terror Infinity before. Not that girls don't read, just that I didn't think that type of book is really up a girl's alleyway. Guess I'm rethinking my personal biases today, huh?

After a short few seconds of gathering herself, the girl outstretched a hand and introduced herself.

"My name's Jessica but most people call me Jess," she looked slightly nervously at me, but I ignored it and took her hand returning the greeting.

"Nice to meet you, Jess. My name's Jason," I let go of her hand before thinking for a second about whether I should say what I thought, but I mentally shrugged and said it anyway, "You know how this stuff goes, having read the novel and all that, so what kind of talents do you have? What do you do for a living as well?"

She seemed slightly taken aback by how calmly I was looking at the situation as now that this entire situation was settling in, she was slowly giving in to the fear. How did I know? Well, her body language practically screamed it. Plus her breathing was slowly picking up and I guessed that she would soon be hyperventilating.

I guess not everyone was trained from the time they could walk to calmly work in extremely stressful environments like me, huh~?

...That's a joke, by the way, I already know my upbringing was...unique, to say the least.

But to my surprise, Jess closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths before opening her eyes and focusing on me and my question to avoid her fear.

Good, I have at least one person with potential on my team.

"I've trained in martial arts since I was around 6 - I'm 20, for reference - and I've been a runner ever since Freshman year* in Highschool. I work as a part-time waitress at a bar near my College."

Nodding I gave her a once over as I saw the toned muscle definition on her arms, or at least what I could see of her arms.

"That's good. Your martial arts experience will help if you get back to God's Dimension. Right now, your running will probably be your best bet; I don't think you could punch a Dinosaur to death with your human strength," I joked, getting an uneasy smile and chuckle from the woman, I carried on and did an introduction of myself, "Well, Jess, I'm a soldier. More specifically a special ops soldier. They didn't train us to kill Dinosaurs but you can bet your ass I can survive in that forest next to us. You have realized what's going to happen to us, right?" I asked when I saw her face turn to one of confusion when I mentioned surviving in the forest.

Sighing, I motioned to the kids in the car, and to the lawyer (WHO DIES IN THE MOVIE), before motioning to the electrified fence to the right of us.

She looked to all three of these things before the cogs in her head started turning. It didn't take long for her to figure it out.

And it didn't take that long for her to shout her findings.

"We're gonna get attacked by the T-Rex!" she went back to how she was before, about to go into a panic attack. I can't really blame her, honestly.

Turning around in my seat, I leaned over my seat and held the woman's shoulders before shaking a bit of sense into her, "Jess! It's gonna be alright, okay? We know it's gonna happen, and we know what not to do, so calm down, alright?" my voice seemed to get through to her but from her breathing, she was still a few steps away from jumping over the proverbial edge and going into panic mode.

"Y-yeah, you're...you're right! We can stop the kids from attracting the T-Rex!" she let out a hopeful smile as she looked at me but it was squashed as I shook my head, "Why?!" she screamed in response.

Taking my hands from her shoulders I gave her my answer with a serious gaze, "We should stick to the plot as much as we can. That way we know what to expect. All we'll have to do is get over the edge and into the Jungle. I'll even carry you if it helps calm you down a little," I laughed as I lessened my serious act a little before carrying on after she glared and pouted at me, "Okay okay, I'm just joking to lighten the mood," holding up my hands in surrender, I continued, "Like I just said, if we stick to the plot, we know what's gonna happen. It's imperative that we keep it that way so we don't end up facing even worse odds than we already are."

She looked at me weirdly before quirking one of her eyebrows upward, "What could make the odds worse for us? We're already about to be attacked by a T-Rex for god's sake!"

Sighing, I brought a hand to my face and squeezed the bridge of my nose before looking toward Jess.

"Okay, one, don't say stuff like that, you'll jinx us," I stopped for a second, and looked to the left, the rain starting to fall to the ground again. It seemed the mission was going to start soon, so I sped up my explanation, "It could get worse by us messing about with the plot and having to fight a T-Rex AND Velociraptors, instead of just one of them," I heard more and more sounds from around us and finished up quickly, "Okay, the mission seems to be starting, so get ready and remember; Follow the plot!"

I turned around in my seat just in time for the people in the car with us to start moving, with the boy beginning to talk about random Dinosaur crap.

Kid, you ain't gonna like Dinosaurs for long.
