(Author's note this takes place between Force Unleashed 1  &2)Galen Marek,taken by Darth Vader was persuaded by Obi-Wan Kenobi to join the Jedi.now he hunts down his old master to kill him.

Obi-Wan was frantic He had just received a message about Satine challenging Mand'lor of the New Mandalorians for his title and control of all Mandalorians in the galaxy which was already bad. Then a few minutes before he could even leave the temple to head to the Mandalorian embassy he received more news that she had lost in her challenge. 

Obi-Wan knew what that would mean. He was very familiar with Mandalorian customs. The winner could do what he wanted with the loser of such a challenge. He had to make it to the embassy as quickly as possible. Hopefully he could plea for a bit of mercy on Satine Kryze part. If that failed he would atlest try and get her put of their even if that ment he would never be allowed back to the jedi.

He would save her or die trying. Obi-Wan's speeder quickly landed at one of the many landing platform at the building. Mandalorian guards also noticed his arrival and moved to intercept. "Identity yourself and state your business!" One of the guards yelled, but time was of the essence so he tried to use the force to mind trick the guards into letting him pass. "You dont need me to identify myself, and you will take me to see Mand'lor." 

If this had been a guard that Coruscant normally provided for an embassy this would have worked, but Jack did not trust most on the planet so he brought his own people here to guard their embassy. The guards were Earth born Mandalorians. That trick was not going to fly on this people not one but as one of the guards brought his weapon to bear on Obi-Wan.

"Your damn right we are going to bring you to Mand'lor, but not for the reason you think. Trying to pull that jedi mind trick on us you have lost you God damn mind fucking jedi hands on your head right now!" Obi-Wan was shocked this was not going how he planned but before he could act 20 more guards came pouring out of the building. All of them had weapons drawn. If he did not comply it would be likely he would not even make pass the front door.

Slowly he rised his hands and placed them on his head. The guards quickly arrested him a d took away his lightsaber. The cuffs they place on him seemed to inhibit his ability to use the force which was another red flag, but there was little to be done now. As he was marched right inside and straight to the Mand'lor. It was not long before he found him self standing front of a large door all the guards surrounding him still had weapons trained on him just in case he made any attempt to free himself.

On of the guards hit his holo com and Jack's voice could be heard, "What's the problem Mandalorian." "Sir we had a jedi attempt to enter the facility using the force we have brought him here for you." Jack could be heard sighing, " Very well you may enter." His voice then cut off and the doors began to open. Obi-Wan was greeted to a large open field on the sides weapons were lined up against the walls and Jack was sitting on the floor in the middle of the room with Shaak Ti right next to him.

Jack saw the jedi in question and smiled, " Thank you gentlemen but you can release that jedi I happen to know him quite well he is no threat." The men followed his order and Obi-Wan had the cuffs removed and his weapon returned to him. The guards give their Mand'lor a salute then quickly exited the room. " So what can I do for you knight Kenobi. 

Obi-Wan prepared himself then spoke, " I know that Dutchess Satine Kryze has challenge you and lost I am her to ask that you grant her mercy. I will be forever in you debt if you do." Jack laughed and Shaak Ti giggled at the side, "Well now this is a refreshing surprise. To think Obi-Wan Kenobi the jedi who use to have a stick up his ass has fallen in love and with a Mandalorian no less. Oh I will definitely have to tell father about this." 

Obi-Wan was startled he didn't know what to say in this situation. Before he could say anything in his defense Jack continued, "Fear not my friend I have not killed Satine Kryze I simply stripped her of her title and all benefits she has received from it. I planned to move her back to my home world and place her under house arrest for a few years while I separate her old power base and scatter them throughout my systems, but I could have her station here just for you if you like. She would still be under house arrest but with you visiting her I am sure she will feel better about it."

The worry that had been plaguing Obi-Wan visibly faded, and he let loose a breath he didn't know he was holding in. It was Shaak Ti that spoke next," Let's do that dear and quickly inform father that his old padawan is following in his footsteps. Like father like son I suppose." Obi-Wan quickly looked at Shaak Ti, "Father what do you mean?" With out missing a beat Shaak Ti showed Obi-Wan her left hand and on the ring finger was a ring with a sky blue diamond with a besakar band wrapped around it. "As for 10 minutes I have been engaged and will soon be Shaak Ti Skywalker wife to Mand'lor and Mandalorian myself."

For Obi-Wan this was great news as he had come in a moment when Jack would have been his happiest so giving out mercy would not weigh to heavy on his mind." Well then let me be the first to congratulate you two do you have a date planned for the wedding." Before Jack could Answer he received and emergency holo call from Sharia code black. He looked at the data she had sent him and his happy face quickly turn into a frown. 

"Obi-Wan do you happen to know a Jedi Knight called  Vam." Obi-Wan nodded, " I do he is one of the jedi senators why  what's wrong." Jack did not answer immediately but then followed up with a question, " Do the jedi council have complete oversight on the jedi that enter the Senate or do they let them do things on their own." Obi-Wan was not sure he liked this line of questioning but answered Jack as best he could, " The council at most gives jedi a general direction to head in, besides giving out occasional missions and holding promotions ceremonies they largely leave jedi to their own devices outside of the temple."

Jack seemed to relax a bit as he mumbled to himself, "Good then it is unlikely that his act was on the orders of the jedi council...more than likely he is acting alone or with his group of senators. I need to bait them out just to be sure, and confirm with the jedi council that he is acting without their orders." Obi-Wan could not hear what Jack was saying but felt he need to interject some what," If you need any help I am here I did say I would owe you a favor that I would never be able to pay back, atlest let me start paying it."

This brought Jack out of his thoughts as he looked at the man, " Well then can you see if you can get Master Windu and Master Yoda to meet me here in three days time I need to discuss something with them, and if they ask just tell them it is of great importance. For now I need to go and visit Chancellor Valorum to finish our attack plans so I will have to bid you farewell for now. Do come and vist more often father and mother will be returning to Coruscant in a few days and it would he him well to see a friend." 

With that Jack turned to leave with Shaak Ti in toe as they headed to the Senate building to meet with the Chancellor in his office. Obi-Wan also took this moment to leave and head back to the jedi council to deliver the message he had been given. He did not know what was bother Jack but if it had something to do with the jedi then it was not good. More and more Obi-Wan was starting to see the flaws in the way the order had been operating. More and more he was beginning to see that his Master decision to leave may have been the correct one.

Jack and Shaak ride to the Senate hall was a quick flight as they quickly made their way to the Chancellor's office. After a check of identification they were brought in to see the man. On his desk lay stacks of paper as they could see the man furious going through them as fast as he could. Jack could feel the fatigue the man possessed. As  Valorum slowly looked up from his desk to see who had entered. " Ah Mand'lor to what do I owe this pleasure."  Jack cut right to the point, " One of the Jedi senators has betrayed the Republic he has sent information from the Senate session four days ago to some one on Neimoidia about an hour ago."

Chancellor Valorum paled at the news, " The jedi have betrayed us...?" Jack shuck his head no, " I do not believe it was on the orders of the Jedi council, I believe he is acting alone or with the help of his other jedi senators. I have a meeting with some in the council I can trust in three days to confirm. Of it is was the council who ordered it I will deal with the jedi personal, but again I doubt it will come to that. What I have come here to do was to inform you of the information leak as well as to formalize the next steps we will take." 

Valorum nodded, " Then what steps should we take Mand'lor." Jack smiled, " Bait the trap and catch the traitors. So let's call a session meeting were we discuss the plan of action tell the Senate that in 9 months time the fleets will be assembled and ready to attack then on the 10 month we will launch the assault. However the truth of the matter is we will be ready in 5 months and launch the attack in 6 and this will only be known to you and me that way if the jedi sends the session information it is unless and we have our evidence." 

The Chancellor agrees  and the plan was set a day after he confirmed with the jedi council they would have their session and would lay the ground work for the opening move of the war.

The current world is faced with a shattering choice. We find out Lucas ideas and concepts did not come from the realm of fiction, but from a force vision trying to prepare the world for the inevitable... The Arrival.

(I am making this simply because a Star Wars  fan-fic has such the wealth of opportunity it is a shame that there have not been more on this site. Plus the one I have run across has been such a disappointment it forced my hand. Do not have any idea how this is going to go but I plan on finishing this story not matter how it ends.)

Chapter 1, Battle in the Sky

Dick punched the throttle of his starfighter. He could hardly believe that he was a Jedi Knight flying a Jedi Starfighter in a battle in Coruscant's star speckled night sky. Well, technically he was in orbit around the planet, but he tried not to think about the vacuum of space outside his cockpit. He could see clone starfighters battling droid fighters up ahead. Explosions like huge fireworks shook his starfighter. Ion trails blazed after each fighter making them gleam in the dark sky. It was quite beautiful but also quite real. Don't die. Don't die. Dick repeated to himself. He glanced at his heads-up display readout. R3T3, his astromech droid, notified him that he was coming up on two other Jedi beacons. Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi were just up ahead.

He pulled alongside Obi Wan's starfighter and gave the Jedi Master a fierce grin. His communications earpiece crackled to life. Obi Wan's strained voice came over loud and clear.

"Nice to see another Jedi out here," Obi Wan said, "I was afraid it was just going to be me and Anakin."

"I've got your backs now Master Kenobi," said Dick.

"I don't believe I've had the pleasure, Master…?" Obi Wan tried to look at the raven-haired Jedi Knight flying beside him through his cockpit window.

"Grayson. Dick Grayson."

"Ah. Welcome to the Battle of Coruscant Master Grayson. I'm afraid the middle of a battle isn't the best place to make introductions though."

"Sure it is. It's in the heat of battle people show their true colors," Dick said with a smile. Obi Wan nodded, appreciative of the calm wisdom in the younger knight.

"Hey Grayson, you want in on our bet?" Anakin's voice came over the three-way communicator.

"What bet?" asked Dick a little confused.

Obi Wan tried to say something, but Anakin cut him off. "Lunch at Dex's says I blast two droids for each of yours."

"Anakin…" Obi Wan began.

"Alright, diner," Anakin amended. Dick could hear the smile in his voice.

"You're on Master Skywalker!" declared Dick.

"This is not a game, it's…" Obi Wan tried to say, but Dick and Anakin had already shot ahead of him towards the oncoming Vulture droids. Obi Wan sighed heavily. "Oh, what's the use?" He punched his own throttle and soared towards the thick of the battle. Near misses from the Separatist Cruiser's turbo-laser batteries rocked his small starfighter violently. Obi Wan tasted bile rise up in his throat as one bolt clipped his wing and he struggled to control the sudden spin his fighter was forced into.

When he had wrestled his starfighter under control again, Obi Wan saw Anakin and Dick blasting droids as if it was a game. They were counting their kills and joking over the comm. Boys. He sped up gently working the aft thrusters. He didn't want to risk tearing his ship apart. Catching up with them, Obi Wan pulled up along-side Anakin, who's starfighter was fly inverted and parallel to Dick's. The two young Jedi Knights were grinning fiercely. And Obi Wan recognized the fire in Anakin's eyes. He sighed again.

"That's Grievous's Flagship dead ahead. The one swarming with Vulture droids," said Anakin.

"I see it. Oh, this is going to be easy," said Obi Wan sarcastically.

"Ah no. But it might be fun," Dick corrected him. He was still learning the controls of his starfighter. His stomach had been in knots the whole time. His only piloting experience in his own reality had been flying the Batwing. Now, suddenly he was in the middle of a space battle in a cockpit he had never seen before. He could fly it somehow only because he had R3T3 and a little voice that told him what to do. He assumed it was the force giving him survival hints. Being a Jedi was still a little weird. The only reason he was still alive was Anakin.

All three of them shot forward again, this time towards the mammoth cruiser Invisible Hand. At least thirty Vulture droids peeled away from the cruiser's ventral hull and streaked towards the Jedi. Anakin flipped his craft right-side up again as pounded two droids with his cannons at long distance range. Dick moved over to cover for Obi Wan's failing wing.

"Oddball. Oddball do you copy?" asked Obi Wan over the com.

"I copy Red Leader," answered the clone who's call sign was Oddball.

"Form your squad up behind us, we're going in."

"We're on your six, General Kenobi." The clone's voice was as calm as if he was ordering dinner.

The ACR 170 clone pilots formed into attack positions behind the Jedi. Within seconds, they were breaking off into separate dogfights. Each pilot was thoroughly engaged in their own fight for survival. There was so much sweat rolling down faces, so much anxiety in the force, and so many cannon blasts streaking though space, that even Anakin might be forgiven for turning tail. But they didn't. The battle raged on over Coruscant.

This is Dick Grayson right now:

He is a new Jedi Knight. A new character in an old story. He is untrained in the Jedi arts and he hasn't ever flown a starfighter, much less flown one into a battle of this magnitude, before. But he has a part to play in this story now. Everything outside his cockpit can kill him and he knows it. He isn't used to feeling the rush of the force inside him, because he wasn't born a Jedi. He was born an acrobat in his own reality. But here, in this reality, it's different.

He knows he can die here. Fears that he probably will. He thinks of his brothers on the planet below. He doesn't have a choice. He has to make it through the battel and onto Invisible Hand, because he knows the story all too well. Anakin will kill Count Dooku and turn to the Dark Side. Dick has to be there to stop him and save his brothers and this whole reality from Darth Vader. It's why he jumped into a strange ship and rocketed off into a space battle; to change this reality itself.

Even as he jokes and competes with Anakin and feels the exhilarating rush of adrenalin and the new unbridled joy of the force, Dick feels the pressure of his mission. The danger. The fear that he will never see his brothers again and that he will fail them.

But what made him a hero on earth, is what makes him a hero right now. He is a hero because he stares his own death in the face and doesn't even blink. He chooses the lives of others above his own. And he makes the decision to be stronger than fear, and stronger than the killer he is afraid circumstances want him to become.

This is Dick Grayson, Jedi Knight.

"Missiles!" shouted Anakin over the coms.

"Blast!" muttered Obi Wan.

Oh great, thought Dick. He had no clue what to do about tracking missiles. He turned to R3T3 for help. The little droid advised that he follow Anakin's lead and try spinning. The missiles on their tails were coming in perfect tandem. A simple barrel role would make the missiles collide.

Obi Wan wasn't so lucky. In his case, a role would be worse than useless. It would probably get him killed. He managed to lead one missile into an oncoming droid fighter and trick the other one into exploding before it hit him. Suddenly, the shrapnel form the second missile grew legs and clung to his starfighter. "I'm hit." Obi Wan sounded more annoyed than afraid.

"Buzz droids," said Anakin. He sounded disgusted.

"They're shutting down all of my controls!"

"Move over so I can get a clear shot." He maneuvered himself behind Obi Wan and blasted two buzz droids with his starfighter's cannon along with most of Obi Wan's left wing.

"Hold on Anakin, you're going to get us both killed!" shouted Obi wan almost frantically. He didn't sound very much like the calm Jedi Master he had a reputation for being. "This is why I hate flying," he muttered. His cockpit was starting to fog up. He watched helplessly as a buzz droid destroyed poor R4. Oh dear.

The little droids were crawling all over Obi Wan's starfighter like an infection. Dick could see them through his cockpit canopy, and cringed. Anakin edged his starfighter closer to Obi Wan's before he physically slammed the droids into a smear of metal. Unfortunately, he also destroyed what was left of Obi Wan's left wing.

"What are you doing?" Obi Wan cried in disbelief.

Anakin's voice was tight with concentration. "Just giving you a little help…it's not as easy as it looks."

"Get out of here Anakin. There's nothing more you can do. Get to the Flagship. Get the chancellor."

"I'm not leaving without you Maser." Anakin hit the last buzz droid off Obi Wan's starfighter.

Obi Wan noticed that they were still careening towards Visible Hand at top speed. "Anakin!"

"What?"

"Have you noticed that the shields are still up?"

"I've got it," said Dick. He punched the throttle and shot ahead of the two other Jedi. He blasted the cruiser's exterior control panel with his cannon and the ray-shield on the docking bay vanished. The backup bay doors started to close to replace the ray-shield.

"I've got a bad feeling about this!" said Obi Wan as his starfighter limped towards the massive cruiser. But all three starfighters flew into the docking bay before the huge durasteel doors slammed shut. Obi Wan popped his cockpit canopy and leapt out. He drew his lightsaber mid-air and began taking out the battle droids that started running towards the intruders. Useless tinnies.

Anakin and Dick soon joined him in the brief battle. Their lightsabers held high to deflect the blaster bolts. Dick was amazed by how a real lightsaber worked. Although he had never been properly trained in how to use one, he managed to return several blaster bolts back on the droids. He used his two lightsabers much as he would longer versions of his eskrima sticks as Nightwing. This was actually a lot of fun.

"R2, get to that control panel. Find the chancellor. We'll cover you," Anakin shouted over the noise in the hangar. R2 rolled over to a socket in the wall and plugged himself in. R3 rolled behind him, beeping something that not even Anakin, who seemed to speak fluent droid, could understand.

In just a few minutes, the fight was over and the droids had lost. Badly. The Jedi returned their lightsabers to their belts before regarding each other appraisingly. "Good timing on the assist, Grayson," said Anakin to Dick. "I think you lost the bet though. Where'd you learn to fly anyways?"

Dick smiled sheepishly at Anakin. "Call me Dick. And I learned to fly from my crazy mentor."

"Who was that?" asked Obi Wan curiously.

"Batman," answered Dick without thinking. Anakin and Obi Wan looked at him quizzically. "Well, he was crazy like a bat. His name was Master…" Who? Dick didn't know how to get himself out of this mess. Fortunately, R2 beeped excitedly and the Jedi ran over to him. Dick was off the hook for now.

"There's the Chancellor's beacon," said Anakin pointing. "The General's spire. Do you think it's a trap?"

"It's always a trap," said Dick.

"Next move?" asked Anakin with a fierce grin.

"Spring the trap," Obi Wan smiled back.

Chapter Eight

The meeting hall had been refurbished to act as a strategy room, and within it, two opposite factions had taken form. On one side, there was her Master and herself -of course- and on the other there was the Skyguy and his master. Although his master wasn't actually taking sides. The holographic projection of Felucia's lush jungle made Ahsoka's right eyebrow twitch all the same. She had been told -by her Master, nonetheless- to bring heavy robes. That place looked like a jungle, not an arctic tundra!
"Felucia is not a place that you can fight in for long," her Master said flatly, "it has flesh-eating diseases, carnivorous plants, monsters just eager to eat some tinned meat and if we fight a war of attrition in that place, we're bound to lose it. So, we have to fight a different type of war. I'd suggest orbital bombardment, but unfortunately the Separatists know that, and have not only blockaded the place, but are also bringing in reinforcements to ensure nothing gets through. We've got a small window of opportunity, and we have no choice but to use it."
Her Master pointed at a peak, located deep within the jungle of Felucia. "Fortunately, Felucia isn't just a place of hell and despair. It's also a very rich Force-sensitive planet who answers the call with an eagerness similar to that of Twi'lek slave dancer under shackles by a Hutt leader."
Ahsoka grimaced and groaned, "I didn't need that image in my head, master!" her hands went to her montrals, scratching them as she tried to scramble her brain and avoid recalling it.
"Sorry, padawan," her master replied -and he wasn't sorry at all. If anything, he was amused. "Anyway, Felucia is normally lush, humid and hot. But if the weather were to be altered," here, his hand moved over the holographic display, and suddenly snow began to fall. Snow, and thunder streaked the imagery cloud sky, "with snow and electromagnetic pulses...well, then it would remove the trouble of most of the feral animals on the planet, and turn off the droids. At least for a while, a very short while of course, but as long as we act quickly, we could turn them all into scraps by the end of the week and then Felucia could go back to being the verdant, lush jungle it was before."
"To alter an entire planet's ecosystem in such a way," Master Obi-Wan said, "Would kill countless species, and if done abruptly, the shock could very well kill the planet itself."
Her Master rolled his eyes, "Planets are made of sturdier stuff, and Felucia is special. The animals will fall asleep with the cold, and the separatist droids will turn off. It's the best of possible solutions. Otherwise, prepare for months, if not years, of fighting. The tin-heads dug themselves too deep in the planet, and it will be a slaughter."
"We just need to cut the head," Skywalker said. "We received transmissions coming from the planet. Their leader is entrenched in these positions around this gulch," as the knight spoke, the hologram moved further away from the point her Master had pointed at. "If we strike there, and take him out, the rest of the droids will easily fall in line."
"Sure, why not," her Master rolled his eyes. "Of course they'll just let us waltz right in." Master Shade sighed, "Why not do both then? Under the cover of the snow and the electromagnetic impulses, you'd have an easier time getting in there."
"Forgive me if I reply abruptly, Master Shade," Master Obi-Wan said, "But what part of 'murdering entire life-species' is acceptable?"
"When they're soul-sucking monstrosities that relish in feasting on people lives, then they don't get the 'life-species' treatment," her Master remarked, "they get the 'pest control' tag."
Master Obi-Wan bristled. "The natives of the planet wouldn't like to be considered on par with pests, Master Shade. And there are farms with living beings still on the planet. We'd need to evacuate them."

Master Shade rolled his eyes and shrugged. "Fine. I could localize the weather change to the gulch in question," her Master said. "That would be considerably harder than change the entire planet's atmosphere, since they're all interconnected. Under the cover of the unforeseen weather, Knight Skywalker could go inside and deal with the troublesome leader of the Droids. Would that be agreeable?"
"It is an agreeable compromise. The droids would have already moved most of the native fauna away from their positions," Obi-Wan said.
"It will have to be quick," her Master said, quite icily she had to say, "I can give no more than a few hours. It is easier to make an avalanche fall by throwing a rock, than making a single rock fall while holding the avalanche at bay."
"See Anakin? You even have a challenge ahead of you," Master Obi-Wan said with a small amused smile. "What about your padawan, Master Shade?"
At her being mentioned, Ahsoka stood as tall as she could trying to look every bit as professional as a Padawan was meant to be. Her Master rolled his eyes at the display, but she simply crossed her arms in front of her chest and looked with her chin up at Master Obi-Wan, who returned an amused smile once more.
"She'd do better by your side, Master Obi-Wan," her Master said. "I will be dealing with forces beyond her ability to withstand," he continued, gazing at the holographic map projected in front of him. "I suggest no one interrupts me while I work," he continued as he enlarged a particular area near the gulch, a lone spire of rock and twisted wood, covered in fungal spores. "This is where I'll start my work." He grimly looked at Master Obi-Wan. "Let me be clear, Obi-Wan. Should a retreat be sounded, it would be less damaging for you to leave me behind than try to rescue me. If I slip during the execution, anything could happen. I will be juggling with the living Force of the planet. Do not distract me. No matter what happens, do not distract me."
"Are you planning something?" Master Obi-Wan asked, an eyebrow raised. Her master sighed and brought both arms up in the air.
"What is it with you lot thinking I'm always planning something? Can't a man merely be stating facts now?"
"You have to admit that once people start to notice a trend," Master Obi-Wan began, only for her Master to scowl and silence him. "Very well, I'll trust your skills in the Force."
Her Master bowed his head with a heartfelt sigh of relief. "Very well. We'll have to break through their blockade first, however."
"That is our next order of business," Master Obi-Wan said. "But I guess this is the part where you disappear into the remote corners of the ship to reappear out of the shadows only once it's time to land?"
Her Master chuckled, "Ah, Obi-Wan, you know me too well."
With one last bow, her Master stepped outside and hummed as he started to wander across the corridors of the large ship. Ahsoka followed him after hastily bowing to the other two Jedi, and as she quickened her pace to keep up with her Master's own gait, she couldn't hold back her curiosity.

"Can the Force actually change the atmosphere of a planet, Master?"
"Do or do not," her Master replied. "There is no 'try'. I can do it. I can do it to the entire planet, so I can do it to a single area. The Force is many things, Padawan, but the one thing it answers to the most is certainty. If you are sure you can lift a spaceship, then you will. The Force isn't something you can measure. I'm pretty sure Master Yoda could drop a moon on a planet, if he so wished."
Ahsoka snorted. "I don't think so. I mean, Master Yoda's strong, of course, but I don't know...how would he manage?"
Yet her Master felt so sure about it that there wasn't even the slightest shred of doubt in his voice. That certainty was contagious, and as her master stopped in a semi-circular room giving off into the depths of space, she couldn't help but halt as an invisible wave of sadness struck through her.
"Tell me, Padawan," her master said in a soft, barely imperceptible voice, "Why must there be war?"
His voice was weary and tired, as if whatever mask he wore back to act, and appear, and be youthful had suddenly been ripped apart. His eyes looked sunken now, so different from just a few minutes before. The thrumming inside his steel and ice clad heart somewhat deadened.
"I..." Ahsoka hesitated. "For resources?"
Her Master mentally flicked her forehead, and she closed her eyes out of reflex. When he didn't elaborate, she tried again. "Resources, master. The Separatist and the Republic are fighting over planetary control for resources."
"That's not how the war started," her Master replied. "This war, in particular, started over a concept of money," his right hand lifted, and his fingers moved gingerly across the glass of the ship. "If people die, if planets are torn apart by the fires of war, it's because of money. That is the principal reason for this war, Padawan. If it were a war for resources necessary for the population, it wouldn't even be such a horrible war. Yet, this war is being fought over the Trade Federation's denial of paying taxes, and the Republic's own renouncing of its word on not making them pay taxes. Taxes, Padawan," his voice grew slightly harsher, "People are dying because of taxes."
Here he chuckled. "When you'll head down to Felucia by Obi-Wan's side, I want you to look, Padawan," he gazed at her with a sad expression. "I want you to look at what you'll see, and I want you to think. This was is wrong, Padawan. It's been wrong from the start, and it will keep being wrong until it ends. What comes next however," he shuddered, "Might just be wrong once more, since two wrongs don't make a right."
He stopped drumming on the glass, and smiled briefly. "There's an infinite amount of space out there, Padawan. And yet we fight for a few rocks floating around brilliant stars," he began to walk near her and shook his head. "Remember my words. Fighting is, for the most part, useless. Jedi should not fight in the war, yet they do. How much wronger can you get?"
He patted her head on the way out. "Stay here and meditate, Padawan," he continued. "I'll ask you a question once this is over. Give me the right answer, or don't answer me at all."

She turned sharply, trying to find the words to ask what he meant, but the door slid to a close behind him. She could feel him walk down the corridor. The more far he walked, the more the armor of ice and steel chipped itself back together. The clanking of steel hitting the ice, the thrumming of power growing beneath it. It was like the feeling of an avalanche slowly building up into a force of nature, of a hurricane starting to gather its winds, or a maelstrom turning the waters of the ocean murky and deeper still.
She crossed her legs and sat down in the semi-circular room that gave off the vastness of space, and closed her eyes. The powerful nova of light and energy that was her master shone in the darkness in the background, a pulsing entity that seemed made of a cold exterior and a warm core, pulsing and crackling along its path. A path of white cobblestone shone brilliantly in the darkness of her senses, a furry little thing slamming its large feet on the ground with a worried look over it.
Come on, Alice. We're going to be late.
Ahsoka took deep breaths, and the Force opened up to her as she carefully let go of her emotions. Anger disappeared, replaced with contentment. Worry melted, and fear blew up like a bubble of soap. She opened her eyes to the ship rumbling, and as she stood up and rushed out, she knew where to go.
Wonderland can wait forever, Alice.
The door hissed as it closed behind her, but she didn't pay any attention to it. What she cared about was reaching the hangar, where her Master, Obi-Wan and Skyguy waited for her. "Well then," her Master said, "Think before you act, be nice to Master Obi-Wan, and remember to eat your greens," he had the galls to grin at her as he waved her goodbye from aboard the troop carrier that would guide him down. "See you later, Padawan!"
And with that, her Master flew out without her by his side.
She huffed, and turned to look at Master Obi-Wan. "Master Obi-Wan," she bowed properly, "I'm at your orders."
"Follow me then," Obi-Wan said, climbing aboard another troop transport. "We've broken through the blockade and will start dropping troops. Our primary objective is to take out the planetary defenses. The droids have dug in, but they haven't much online yet. If we can take them out, ship reinforcements will annihilate the blockade and allow us an easier time conquering the planet."
Ahsoka nodded. "What will my role be in all of this?"
"Well, we'll land a few clicks away from our destination where the Anti-Air is lesser, and make our way over to the objective. We've got-" the carrier began to tremble -the atmosphere had been reached, apparently- and together with it, the lights inside turned red as the blast shields slid the windows to a close.
"Sir!" the pilot remarked, "Buckle in! It's going to be a bumpy ride!"
"Just get us down in one piece, Cody," Master Obi-Wan retorted. The other clones readied their weapons, and Ahsoka readied her lightsaber. The carrier stopped once on the ground, and the door slid open as, with a mighty cry, the clones within charged out rifles raised and looking for cover. She followed Master Obi-Wan, his blue lightsaber flicking stray bolts of laser fire away -just like she did with her own.
A few AT-TE opened fire the moment their large metallic feet dug into the soft marshy soil. The overwhelming attack spearheaded through the droid lines with ease, and their meager defenses broke -then again, they had picked the closest and less defended spot to land the bulk of their forces.

Ahsoka was grinning as she spun in mid-air, cutting in half a B1 droid who had been trying to run away.
More droids, however, emerged from the vegetation. Three Droideka rolled through the bushes and stood up, shields open and guns ablaze. As they opened fire, Ahsoka spun her lightsaber with her right hand and lifted her left. Her Master made it sound so easy, to use the Force. Who was she not to try?
No, not 'try'.
Who was she not to succeed?
A Droideka's frame trembled as Ahsoka lifted it in the air, throwing it against the second, spinning them both out of position. On the third one, Master Obi-Wan closed in lightsaber ablaze, striking him down with a quick blow to the head.
Ahsoka rushed ahead to push her lightsaber's blade against the head of the fallen droids, to ensure they wouldn't stand back up. Suddenly, a spike of worry shot through the Force, and she jumped back. Where she had been but a moment before, an explosion rocked the ground and left behind nothing but a crater.
"Artillery!" Obi-Wan yelled. "Get to cover!" he barked to the nearest Clone Commander, who nodded and relayed the order.
Ahsoka huffed as she ran away from the clearing where they had landed and towards the near cover of a large, twisted tree with large leaves falling all around it. A sudden sensation of itchiness caught her, making her bring a hand to the side of her face absentmindedly. The scratching turned into a swatting. The swatting turned into a furious rubbing as blood sprayed thick through her fingers, the result of mushed insects on her cheek.
She gasped and widened her eyes as she put into focus thousands of tiny insects buzzing around them with fury. She hadn't heard them over the sound of the battle waging, but now that she wasn't in the immediate process of risking her life, she could feel them all around her. They clung to her bare skin like leeches, and seemed to grow fat with her blood.
She wasn't the only one suffering from these pests, but most of the clones had armor and helmets on, so they were relatively safe. She couldn't pry them off with her lightsaber -she wasn't that stupid- but swatting them away simply seemed to alert more of them to the free spaces left on her skin.
As she grumbled and tried to swat away the swarms, Master Obi-Wan was meanwhile on the other side of the clearing, barking orders. Well, she hadn't been told what to do, so she'd just-Wonderland is here, Alice.


The cold wind rushed through the air, killing all the insects on its path like a scythe wielded by a grim reaper. Ahsoka's eyes widened as she felt the ground beneath her feet shift and ripple, an unholy coldness rising up to answer an unspoken call. Her muscles trembled and her bones creaked as the Force seeped and screamed like a dying beast across the very air. Something horrible, something disgustingly obscene, something that went beyond everything she could ever believe, had just happened. And nature itself ripped apart at its seams. Ahsoka clutched her montrals, trembling from unspoken shrill screams. The feeling of oily tar and blackness spread across her soul like a mat of viscous poison, and as she clutched the dirt between her fingers, her breathing came less more than once.
Such power struck chords through her entire being as it sang to the plants, and killed them, before singing the melody of death to the clouds and turn them into factories of lightning and static.
Bolts of lightning struck from the skies ahead of them, and she balked at the power that made her skin crawl. Yet, as quickly as it had arrived, the feeling receded.
Ahsoka breathed with ease once more, and her ears perked up, picking the call from Obi-Wan to near her.
"We've got to move and scrap as many droids as we can while this last," Master Obi-Wan said.
"M-Master," Ahsoka gasped, "You...You felt it?"
Obi-Wan lifted an eyebrow. "Felt...what, Padawan?"
"The-My Master's-" power. Darkness. Hatred. Despair. Sadness. Grief. Fueling this. Everything. Nothing. Alice. Mad Hatter. Wonderland. Madness.
And Ahsoka's eyes crossed as she looked behind Master Obi-Wan, to where a large, purple cat was hanging from a tree branch, smiling broadly with human-like teeth.
Now Alice, the Chesire Cat said with a broad grin. We're all mad here.

[Emmett POV]


   As I sat in front of a crowd of people 500,000 large, I realized just how many people hated the Empire. The 500,000 men and women in front of me were the best soldiers in the world, and there were several times more listening to my speech via radio.


   "Here we stand today, preparing to fight for our freedom against the Galactic Empire. I may not be from this planet, but I know better than most the atrocities of the Empire. They've taken your land, they've killed your friends and your family, but most of all. They've taken your freedom, and I for one would rather die fighting for liberty, than live under the oppressive rule of the Empire. WHO'S WITH ME!"

   Cheers erupted from the crowd, though I doubt my worse than average speech is responsible, they were eager enough already. I motioned for the cheers to stop, and after awhile they died down

   "We will fight for this world, but we must remember, we are fighting people, people just like us. Before we fight the Empire, I will give the soldiers the chance to surrender, no, I will give them a chance to fight with us against the Empire, for their planets have suffered just as this one has."


   The crowd in general didn't have a negative reaction to my proposal, but a few people, quite obviously did.


   "I will be joining this battle, although I certainly don't look like I'm in the condition to fight. Your doctors have fitted me with a prosthetic leg that will enable walking, if nothing more" nothing more would be most realistic, though I may be able to jog. Seriously, I'll have to make my own synthetic leg when I get off this planet.

   "I have Instructed each of the world's military leaders of the plan, disperse to your generals and you will be informed." I rolled of the stage, behind a curtain, the troops were dismissed shortly after by there countries leaders. I used the force to communicate making it easier for me to give a speech to several people who speak different languages. This was going to be a memorable battle


[Luke's POV, 3rd person]


   The Republic has decided to attack the Imperial base on Endor and Luke was sitting in his room, suddenly Obi-wan appeared before him.


   "Obi-wan!" Luke exclaimed. Obi-wan raised his translucent hand in a calming gesture. "Luke, I have come to warn you of a possible danger. The boy who had been captured on the Death Star, Emmett, or now, Lord Dusk." Luke immediately remembered the man, he had demanded that the Republic send a rescue party, but they didn't. "He's alive?" Obi-wan frowned.

   "Yes he's alive. When I let him come with us it was because I sensed something in him, a destiny, and potential, potential that I haven't seen since your father. I let Emmett come with us because... I wanted to right my past mistakes. Instead, Palpatine got ahold of him, and trained him in the dark side. Emmett has broken free from the dark side, but it still calls to him, he is currently on Gaia, I don't know what his plans are, but he intends to kill Palpatine."


[Emmett POV]


   I was at the front lines, the planet's forces had surrounded Folio, the only city on Gaia completely governed by the Empire, My prosthetic leg felt stiff and was hard to get used to. I projected my thoughts into the city, where all could here my words. 

   'I am Lord Dusk, ex apprentice to Emperor Palpatine. I encourage you to lay down your weapons and perhaps join us in making the galaxy a better place. My goal is not to destroy the Empire, but to reform it, and under Palpatine's rule you will never prosper, you are exploited, and he will never stop using his subjects as if they are slaves, as if they are disposable, as if You are disposable, but you're not. Each and every person matters, and you do as well. Help me change this empire, Help Me Change The Galaxy!!!' I rose my yellow lightsaber in the air, my black robes replaced by a dark grey, and I charged.


(A/N, I'm sorry the chapter is late, I recently went through a lobotomy and I'm still recovering

I am thinking of taking a break from this story after the events of the original trilogy ends, if I do I will be writing another story in that period of time, but I most likely won't finish the story, as my continuation rate for stories is one out of five.)

Emmett Law didn't have the best life nor did his family, one day during a new school-year he is killed by some bullies that took it too far after he fought back. and then he wakes up on Tatooine.

(this is mostly a story based fanfic with some comedic touches and however many references I can make without negatively affecting the story.)

Taking a short break from patrolling the streets below the Senator's penthouse. Sar had decided to take a small break on top of one of the electric neon-signs that covered the great Galactic City. 

He had found nothing out of the ordinary but he knew that he couldn't lower his guard just because of that, so he had his Force Sense stretched to its very limit. He was gathering his thoughts about the complications that were sure to arise in the coming conflict.

Best case scenario would be the Republic relenting and giving in to some of the Systems demands and letting them back into the Senate, worst-case scenario, and the one Sar felt was most likely, all-out war.

The thing that Sar was still not clear on was what role would the Jedi play in a galactic war? Their role as peace-keepers in the galaxy only held because of their perceived neutrality, but Sar knew that if war did occur that the Republic would enlist Jedi as soldiers in the conflict. This would effectively end the Jedi's neutrality even after the war ended.

The only thing Sar felt he could do was to keep firm in his belief in the Order and mitigate any damage that was sure to occur in the coming days. 

He was snapped out of his thoughts when he sensed something suspicious. Standing up from his sitting position he raced towards the location where he had felt the sensed the suspicious sensation.

While Force Sense could not reveal a person's exact thought they could give a skilled Jedi an inkling into you intentions, therefore doing battle with Jedi meant not only hiding your move from them but from yourself as well. 

Sar had clearly felt hostile intentions towards the Senator's penthouse. While keeping. his pace as he rushed towards his destination he pulled out his communicator and contacted Obi-Wan. As soon as he heard the call connect he hastily explained. 

"Obi-Wan! The Senator is in danger you have to get her out of the penthouse!" Sar had to yell because of the wind and the rushing hoover cars. 

"What kind of danger?" Came Obi-Wan's voice from the other end. 

"Don't know! Just get her out!" After saying this he ended the connection and sped up even more.

Hearing the call disconnecting Obi-Wan frowned before he put it away and moved towards the Senator's bedroom in a hurry. 

"Master?! What is going on, is someone attacking Padme?!" The anxious voice of Anakin sounded out. 

"Sar sensed something, just keep calm Anakin." Obi-Wan didn't really have time to properly steel his Padawan as time was of the essence. 

Both of them entered the bedroom practically blowing the doors off the hinges as they rushed into the room. 

Padme was immediately awoken by the loud noise and practically sprung up from the bed. 

"What is going on! What are you two doing?!" Her voice sounded slurred and drowsy clearly indicating that she had just been awoken. 

"No time to explain milady, we have to get you out of here." Responded Obi-Wan in a stern but calm tone as he picked Padme up by the hand and began rushing her out of the room, with Anakin following behind. 

He had just exited the room and was on his way out of the penthouse when both he and Anakin got a glimpse of something flying towards the bedroom window. Obi-Wan just used this as an excuse to rush even more, but Anakin rushed towards the drone with lightsaber blazing at his side. 

Obi-Wan eyes widened as he saw this and he sensed something bad approaching. 

"Anakin! No!" He shouted before he rushed towards his hasty Padawan, as there was no time to use the Force to pull him back. 

He managed to just barely grab Anakin's shoulder before he chucked him back into the living room. He then quickly turned around and was about to run through the doorway, when a distinct sound sounded out. 

"Click."

"Booooom" 

Obi-Wan was halfway through the doorway when the large explosion caught the right side of his body and flung him into the right wall in the living room. A large crack was left in the wall as Obi-Wan heavily landed on the floor. 

Padme covered her mouth with her hand as tears began appearing in the corner of her eyes. Anakin's eyes widened to an almost impossible degree as a highly worried expression came to his face. He practically sprinted towards the limp body of his Master. 

He heavily threw himself onto his knees and rolled Obi-Wan onto his side to check his injuries. 

Half of Obi-Wan's robe was burned off revealing the severely burned flesh underneath. A bit of his face and beard had also been burned, luckily, not enough to actually damage his eye or brain. It was clear however that the impact to the wall had broken his ribs as evidenced by the clear bruising forming on his chest. 

Anakin tried to keep himself steady even as he could feel himself clearly spiraling before he pulled out a communicator and called Sar. 

"Master Landala! Obi-Wan, he, he is heavily injured."

Sar had just put down the communicator when he came to the spot he had sensed the presence come from. Jumping onto the ledge that was lit up by an orange and pink neon sign he spotted his target. 

It was a woman who was kneeling down on a single knee fiddling with something on her hoover bike probably preparing it for her escape. She was surprised by the sudden intrusion as evidenced by the jerky motion she made when Sar had jumped on top of the ledge. 

She however quickly pulled the cloth veil that hung from her open-faced helmet over her mouth and nose before she stood up and aimed a heavy-blaster pistol at him and fired a couple of shots in quick succession. 

In one fluid motion, Sar ignited his lightsaber and deflected the bolts before he used the Force to remove the blaster from he grip and throwing it off the ledge. Then he grabbed her with it and made hoover over the ground slightly, before sending her flying into the neon sign behind her making it flicker and spark. 

Holding her up against the sign and sensing no further danger he turned off his lightsaber and stepped towards the restrained assassin. 

"I have some questions for you mis-" His sentence was interrupted by the sound of a loud explosion coming from the penthouse that housed the Senator. Sar got a bit distracted a thing that the assassin immediately took advantage of as she pulled out a small device and pressed it.

A compartment in the hoover-bike opened and a large stun-gun emerged sending out a light-blue pulse-like bolt at Sar's back. 

When Sar finally sensed the attack coming it was already too late as the shock-bolt hit his back and sent electricity throughout Sar's whole body making him lose his grip on the assassin who dropped down and hit him in the face with a knee before running away. 

Sar, however, used the Force to mitigate the shock before he threw his lightsaber at the feet of the fleeing assassin. The sound of a lightsaber spinning through the air was soon sounded by the sound of plasma cutting through flesh, and the pained scream of the assassin. 

Smoke emanated from the stumps of where her feet and ankles had once been and she moaned in pain as she tried to slowly crawl away. 

Sar used the Force to expel the last effects of the shock bolt before he stood up and walked over to the crawling assassin. He crouched down and turned the assassin onto her back and placed his knee on her chest restraining her. 

"Nice try, but as I said before I have some quest-" His sentence was once again cut off as he quickly raised his right hand, stopping a small metal needle with the Force, and without thinking sent it back to where it had come from. 

He saw the needle bounce off the chest-plate of an oddly armored figure, the needle did nothing and just clinked onto the ground, but it would seem the action had left the person flustered as they staggered back a little before fleeing. 

Sar was tempted to give chase but felt that leaving the assassin he had already caught was too big a risk for something that might not even reap any rewards. 

"Well, it would seem that the Senator isn't the only one who is unpopular now, is she?" He looked down at the assassin who had passed out and was a bit shocked to see her previously human face morph into something more reptilian. 

"Disguising technol-" His muttering was interrupted by the sound of his communicator beeping. 

"What is it with people interrupting me today?" Sar frowned and said a bit annoyed. 

"Anakin, what-" He didn't even get through the sentence when he was assaulted by the panicked explanation from the flustered teenager. 

When he finally ended the connection a grim expression adorned Sar's face, and only a single word came to mind when thinking of the situation. 

"Kriff"

Sar was now standing next to a worried and depressed Anakin Skywalker, while they observed the now bandaged Obi-Wan Kenobi. 

Yoda and Windu had just left after giving Sar permission to interrogate the captured assassin, but first, it would seem he had to console the distraught Padawan, oh joy. 

"It's my fault, if I had just acted rationally he wouldn't have gotten hurt." The soft voice of Anakin sounded out inside the hospital room. Sar was almost getting choked in the guilt and anger that was radiating from the boy. 

Sighing, and pinching the bridge of his nose with two fingers Sar began talking. 

"Listen, kid, I'll make this quick so listen carefully because I'm not going to repeat it." Sar's voice brought Anakin out of his self-pity as he now focused on Sar. 

"You are right, what happened was your fault." Sar's voice was calm as he continued. "You did not act like a Jedi but rather like a small hot-headed child, and that got your Master and friend hurt, that is a fact and nothing said will change this fact." Anakin was now looking down staring at the floor, dark emotion emanating from him like a waterfall. 

"With that said, however," Anakin gaze was removed from the floor when he heard Sar continue. "That is the risk we take as Jedi, Obi-Wan and I both know that we could be killed at any time whether through a fault of our own or one made by others." Anakin looked at Sar now a little confused. 

"Yet, we take that risk because we believe that what we do will make the galaxy and people better, so if you truly feel guilty for your Master's current state," Sar removed his gaze from the injured Obi-Wan and turned his gaze to Anakin. "Be. Better." 

Silence persisted for a few minutes as Anakin contemplated the words and Sar just waited. He could already sense the dark feelings had eased off the boy a little. After about ten minutes of this Sar cleared his throat.

"I will be leaving as I have other duties to attend to," He once again looked into Anakin's eyes. "And in fact, so do you young Skywalker." And with those words, Sar left the room leaving behind a conflicted Padawan.

The Rublics interrogation rooms were a rather drab affair, a small room with a steel table, two chairs, and a white light hung from the ceiling. The walls were a boring brown color and the air in the room was humid and cold. 

Inside the room sat two figures, one with her hands restrained by metal cuffs, the other one was leaning back in his chair while reading over a file he held in his hand. After a couple of minutes of reading the file over, Sar put it down onto the table. 

"Sam Wesell huh?," He looked at the human-looking woman in front of him. "We don't see many Clawdites, though I suppose that makes sense considering your abilities." 

The woman, now known, as Sam just stared at the Jedi without uttering a word. Sar smiled a bit at that and began tapping the surface of the table sending out soft clinking noises. 

"You know, it was pretty hard gathering any information about you. Guess that's what happens when you can wear any face you want," Sar leaned slightly forward. "But then I went looking around snooping around the Republic's records and wouldn't you know it," Sar placed a device onto the table were an image then emerged from. 

"Bounty: Jango Fett. Reward: 100.000 credits." 

"This was accepted three days before the first attack on the Senator. I recognize that helmet, you do as well,l don't you Sam." Sar then pressed the button on the device and the image disappeared and he once again leaned back in his chair. 

"So, we know who your associate is, now we just need to know who hired you and where good 'ol Jango have gone." A frown that had gradually deepened during their conversation was now sat to a scowl on Sam's face. 

"I have nothing to say to you, Jedi scum!" Sam's words were filled with venom but Sar was unfazed. 

"Of course you don't, because you haven't heard my proposition yet," Sar's smile was removed and replaced with an ice-cold expression. 

"Your employer and associate want you dead, but you're probably not afraid of that, but I know one thing every bounty hunter is afraid of," Sar leaned forward his eyes. "I wonder what the Hutts would think should they learn that a bounty hunter wanted to capture one of the bounty hunters on their payroll because of Republic credits." Hearing this Sam's eyes widened and for the first time, Sar sensed clear fear from her. 

While the Hutts hardly cared about bounty hunters betraying each other, when they did so because of Republic credits it became a challenge to their authority in the underworld. It was generally understood that you were not to go after bounty hunters on the Hutts payroll because of Republic credits. If you did the punishment from the Hutts would be...severe. 

"Now, I can give you a cozy cell in a Republic prison away from any of your...collegues. But to do that I will need you to answer to of my questions." Sar's smile returned as he waited for Sam's answer. 

Sam was swaying a little in her chair as if she was a little drunk, and it was clear she was conflicted about actually telling the Jedi anything, but in the end, the fear of what the Hutts may do to her made her cave. 

"Fine Jedi, I'll talk." Sar smiled and leaned forward once again. 

"Smart choice, Now I only have two questions. First, who hired you?" 

"Jango," She paused before she sighed and continued. "Jango approached me with the job, the pay was good and Fett has a pretty legendary reputation so I figured cashing in on the opportunity was a good choice," She glared at Sar. "I was obviously wrong." 

Sar frowned a bit. 

"You say Jango hired you? Did he ever say who hired him." 

Sam shook her head. "No, he didn't, but whoever it is they were powerful enough to even scare him."

"Scare him? Was he being threatened?" Sar asked more as a precaution than out of actual worry that Fett had been coerced. 

"Nah, he was probably just worried they would kill him should he fail. It isn't uncommon, but Jango has a track-record of killing his employer should they try and stab him in the back. He did not seem convinced that would be an option on this job."

Sar just nodded. 

"Fine then where is he going?" 

Sam shrugged. "I'm not sure he never discussed anything of the sort with me." 

Sar frowned. "Nothing? He must have let something slip." 

Sam seemed to think a bit longer. "He did say something about a job on a planet," She thought a bit more before she remembered the name of the planet. "Yeah, Kamino that's what he called it." 

After that Republic guards led Sam back to her temporary cell, and Sar was left alone in the interrogation room. 

He was pleased to see that his interrogation tactics had gone well. He had picked some tricks from studying the Sith, they were truly master manipulators and understood a person's mind if nothing else. He had used the Jedi mind trick to put Sam into a semi-drunk state which made her more likely to answer the questions truthfully. 

The other tactic he had used was finding her weakness in the form of the Hutt Clan, which had proved to be difficult luckily he found that bounty and with a bit of help from an old friend he had her information. 

Standing up from the chair and stretching a bit Sar let out a weary sigh, he still had a lot to do and now that Obi-Wan was out of commission he had to count on an unruly Padawan to help him. He headed out of the room and towards a previously agreed location where he would meet with his Order. 

They now had to figure out what to do with the Senator situation.

In a galaxy far away... 

Sar Landala was a talented Jedi Padawan. He truly believed in the Jedi's teachings and wanted to protect the peace in the galaxy. 

But events made him believe that the Jedi Order he adored wasn't what he thought it was, and every day the Dark Side seems more tempting.  

Sith or Jedi. 

Hope or Despair.

Harmony or Chaos.

Vesha Ka climbed out of her star fighter, wincing as the hot metal burned her skin. She had just landed the craft on one of the private landing pads behind the Jedi Temple. The Jedi couldn't believe that Viper craft still got away from her, she was sure the other pilot was highly skilled, being able to pull off those quick and tight maneuvers was no easy feat, even for a Jedi. She still couldn't believe she hadn't fired at Stilco's ship. She had known it was him, after taking off in search for the Mandalorian the Force seemed to be tugging her toward the Central District area. She at first thought it was just messing with her, but soon even her heart was telling her that she would find the Mando there. And there he was, about to blast the damaged shuttle into pieces. Instead of helping them, she had sped right past, firing her missiles at the other star fighter behind the shuttle. She didn't understand why she had done that instead of turning on the Mando. She scowled, turning as she noticed Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jared Syliss walk over. "Thank you for your assistance out there. We wouldn't be here if you hadn't stepped- er, flew in." Kenobi said, he smiled and held out his hand. "You are quite talented in that Jedi star fighter. Have you considered joining Master Plo Koon and his star fighter squadron?" she shook her head, she didn't really want to stand around and make small talk with the Jedi but she didn't want to disrespectful  either. "No, I have been looking for the man who killed my Master. I didn't have time for trying out for the squadron." Jared was looking at her with a thoughtful expression, what was that look for? She tilted her head slightly in his direction. "Was it Stilco?" he asked. Obi-Wan shot him a sharp frown. But he didn't notice or pretended he didn't. "Yes. It was. When I went to confront him, we fought and he beat me. Pretty easy I'd say." "Ah, he spared you though. Why would he do that?" Jared pressed. "I don't know. H-he didn't tell me why, but if I had to guess he wanted to use my powers to his advantage." "Well, we'd better get going. Jared, come, we must report to the Council." She watched as they turned around and walked away, she heaved a great sigh. She was surprised that they didn't ask why she had been in that area. It seemed kind of suspicious that she had been there at the same time as the Mandalorian. She shrugged, it didn't matter. Now all she had to do was pick up the trail again and find him. Again. 

Chad Cerro stood in front of the Jedi Council, trying to keep the nervousness and anxiety from showing on his face. He failed terribly. Master Yoda sat in his chair, staring at him with a shrewd and wise- somehow kind expression. He lightly rubbed his gimer stick's gnarled surface. Mace Windu was looking down at the data pad in his hands, a permanent frown on his lips and face. He seemed to be the only one in the Council who couldn't- or wouldn't smile. He leaned back, placing the data pad on the arm of his hover chair. "This report is all true? The Mandalorian is that dangerous?" he asked. He was one of the only Jedi to successfully fight a Mandalorian and won without losing an arm or other limb.  Chad nodded. "Yes, I had a hard time fighting him. I barely drove him back and only managed to wound him. As is my friend..." he trailed, not wanting to say more. His friend had been killed by the bounty hunter. It seemed like the armored man had done it so easily too. Chad remember the dark rage that had clouded his vision and mind. He had tapped into the Dark side and that scared him. "Hmm. Feel like leaving something out, you are. I feel the Dark side clouding your mind, consume you it will, if careful you are not." The small green Jedi said gently. Master Plo Koon spoke up from his seat, crossing his long nimble fingers together. "If the Mandalorian can kill Jedi that easily, we need to have Jedi Masters guarding the Chancellor when it comes time for him to make his speech." His voice was so deep that seemed to vibrate in Chad's chest. "I agree, we can not have Jedi Knights handle this alone." Windu said with certainty, he glanced at Yoda who frowned in deep thought. Chad nearly told Mace Windu that he had managed to wound the man and drove him off and he was still a Jedi Knight, but he held his tongue. Now wasn't the time for pride to get in the way of rational thinking. "Agree also, I do. A Jedi Master should also help find this bounty hunter, I also believe. Master Windu, perhaps help Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jared Syliss track him down, you could?" Yoda suggested. "I hardly think that it would take three Jedi to bring him in, but if you think its a wise decision, I will accept this proposal." The dark-skinned Jedi Master said. "You think it too much for tracking down one man, Master Windu?" Ki-Adi-Mundi asked curiously. The Jedi touched his braided beard lightly. "Yes. I do." Mace responded shortly. He leaned back and shook his head. "I think we are overestimating this Mandalorian bounty hunter. I don't believe he could take on a Jedi Master and win." But he could easily kill a Jedi Knight and nearly the other, Chad Cerro thought grimly. "Be hasty to judge his skills, we should not. If underestimate his ability to fight those of us with the Force, lose we may." Yoda cautioned. He pointed toward the two twin doors of the room. "Obi-Wan and young Syliss, give us a report they will." Obi-Wan and a young Jedi walked in. The other Jedi looked barely older than Chad. Around nineteen or twenty. He was well built. Broad-shouldered and tall. His dark colored hair was neatly trimmed unlike Chad's long hair that he hadn't bothered adjusting before making his appearance before the Council. "Kenobi. Syliss." Mace greeted each of them shortly. Jared nodded back in greeting. "Ah, Master Windu, it has been a while since I was called by the Council." Kenobi said with a small smile. He appeared to be trying to cheer up the tense atmosphere. "Agree, I do." Yoda responded. "I think that we should get to the matter at hand, if we can."Jared said politely.

A rogue Mandalorian is tracked down by a vengeful Jedi Knight. Who will win this duel? Will it be the Jedi or the bounty hunter?
PS: I'm pretty sure you guys are wondering why the heck I named the character after myself, right? Well, actually I named MYSELF after HIM. I created this fictional character about four years ago.

(Theed Capital, Palace.)

Padme walked out of the palace with her head down. Thoughts raced through her mind as her eyes scanned the courtyard and street around. Battle droids and tanks were everywhere taking her people into their houses and other buildings.

A feeling of dread welled up in her as she walked behind Rabe, a close handmaiden of hers that doubled as the queen in such situations. Dressed as a handmaiden and walking with the rest, the viceroy had fallen for the long time ruse.

Positioned just behind Rabe and the governor Sio Bibble, with her trusted handmaidens around her and 6 of the royal guards, including her guard captain Panaka, following behind, she was in the safest position should a fight break out. 

Her eyes roamed over the beautiful buildings she had grown used to over the years as her eyes stopped on something out of place. On one of the high rise buildings only 50 meters away from them she caught sight of the sun reflecting off something. 

It had only been there for a second but she had seen a flash. Looking at the spot harder, she found nothing out of place and though it was just her imagination. Looking back down in front of her, her mind raced with ideas on how to escape, how to help her people. She just had to wait for an opportunity and she would take it. 

Moving of the main street she didn't notice the 2 men and a Gungan that looked down at them. Qui-Gon Jinn and his padawan looked at the small contingent of droids that were escorting the queen past them and started to follow silently. 

Walking into a closed off area and the perfect place for an ambush, they sped up and hid behind an overpass that went directly over their path. Watching the group moving closer Jinn looked at Obi-Wan. "Ready?" *Clack* *Clack* Obi-Wan gave a nod getting ready to pull his Lightsaber. The Gungan Jar Jar Binks also nodded his head ready to help and got ready.

Just as they were about to drop down, Jinn stopped for a second as he felt something in the force. *Bang* *Puff* *Bang* Puff* 2 explosions of white gas exploded out covering the area obstructing everyone's views. 

Both Jedi stood up and watched the scene with wary eyes. The queens group stopped in surprise as the droids weapons pointed out looking for an enemy. *Shing* *Slash* *Clang* *Shing* *Pew* *Rattle* *Clank* Nobody saw anything in the white smoke as the droids dropped around them. 

Only 1 shot was fired off before the gas started to clear up. Standing before the dumbfounded group was a woman completely decked out in white and black high tech gear. The bodies of droids littered the ground, all missing either their head or had huge cuts right through their chest. 

Captain Panaka quickly spoke out going into battle mode, keeping his eyes peeled on the person before them. "Grab their weapons." The other 5 men spread out and grabbed the weapons on the floor as Panaka moved in front of Rabe who was pretending to be the queen.

Padme stood behind him and had been distracted looking at the destroyed droids that were surrounding them. Hearing what he just said though her mind returned to her as she began to analyze her. 'Was she a friend or foe?' 

The fact that the person before them was a woman and highly dangerous, was the only thing her mind could come up with after looking at her for a few seconds. She had a sniper rifle strapped to her back that made Padme wonder how she moved so fast with it weighing her down. It had only taken her seconds to take out the 8 droids.

Other than that weapon, which she obviously hadn't just used, she had multiple pieces of gear and knifes on her person. Padme had just caught her sheaving one of them as the smoke cleared. 'What is it made of to cut through the droids armour?'

With her hood up, nothing could be seen of her face other than the menacing mask that was looking right at their group. As Padme was studying her, Ayillh was doing the same. Mace wanted her to find the queen and protect her at all costs, except if her life was in danger. 

Grabbing a hacked map of the city from Vette, she had easily made it to the palace courtyard and had been scoping the area for a way in when the group had left the building. There was only a low res picture that she had been able to go off on, it was the best Vette could grab with such little time, to identify that the group was the queen, her handmaidens and those close to the government.

Stalking the group in stealth she had been waiting for the perfect opportunity, when the group had veered off into this secluded section. *Clack* A blaster was thrown to Panaka as he raised it in her direction. 

"Who are you?" Deciding to keep up a bit of mystery and assertiveness for the situation she tilted her head to the side and talked decisively. "We don't have time for this. I'm a bounty hunter sent to protect the Queen, by my employer." Saying that she raised her hand and pointed right at Rabe, her voice had been synthesized by the mask she wore so it came off in an intimidating manner. 

Panaka stood in front of the out stretched hand still not trusting the person before him, even though she had helped them get free. Padme herself was thinking over what had just been said, a small frown on her face. 'Who would send a bounty hunter to protect her? For what reason?' Not caring about the obvious hostility Ayillh Jerked her hand back to motion at the overpass. 

"Stop wasting time, get down here we need to leave the street." Jinn's eyebrows raised in surprise as Obi-Wan reflexively laid his hand on his Lightsaber. Something about the bounty Hunter down there set him on edge. 

Jinn also had that feeling, but shook his head as he caught the look from his Padawan. Standing up they made their presence know as they jumped down to ground level. 6 Blaster pointed at the new entrants as Ayillh turned around to look at them. 

She had noticed the two before she had started her ambush, but was sure that they were on the side of the queen, not having got a good look before she started, she now noticed that 2 men in robes had Lightsabers clipped to the belts. 

Her hand wanted to twitch down to one of her knives but she stopped herself, though she did speak her thoughts. "Jedi." The queens group lowered their weapons at the words and a happy smile came to one or two of the handmaidens. 

Jedi were renowned peace keepers of the galaxy and would mean no threat to them. This reaction didn't go unnoticed by Ayillh; a frown came to her face for a second at the respect and trust that was shown, even though they were clearly strangers.

Jinn looked at the bounty Hunter as he moved closer and still felt that faint presence of danger that he felt before. Looking at her for a few more seconds he talked to the Queens group. "I would have to agree with her your highness, we should leave the street."

Rabe looked at the Jedi, the destroyed droids and finally the Bounty hunter that had appeared from nowhere, but was somehow being paid to guard her safety, before nodding.

The group moved off to the street and into an alley as Ayillh followed from the back. Jinn spoke as they left the scene. "We're Ambassadors for the supreme chancellor." Sio Bibble stood forwards with a frown. "Your negotiations seemed to have failed." Jinn just shook his head. "The negotiations never took place. It's urgent that we make contact with the Republic."

This time Panaka spoke up standing next to Rabe. "They've knocked out all our communications." Jinn thought for a few seconds. "Do you have transports?" Panaka nodded as he motioned towards a building in the distance. "In the main Hanger this way."

Obi-Wan stopped them before they moved off however. "Master what about her." Nodding towards Ayillh, everyone else turned towards her. She rolled her eyes as she heard the Jedi speak. 'Why did they always have to make things difficult for her?'

Her synthesized voice spoke with irritation as her head turned towards the young Padawan. "I'm being paid to make sure the Queen is safe. My ship is too far away and from what I can see, you need all the help you can get."

Rabe thought about it for a few seconds as it was ultimately her decision; she couldn't have Padme make it right then and there. "We thank you for your assistance." Obi-Wan looked like he wanted to say something but Jinn shot him a look that shut him up. With all those problems out of the way the group moved on.

(Hanger bay)

It took them a few minutes, but they didn't run into any patrols and arrived at the entrance to the hanger. Crowding around the hanger they peered in to see a group of battle droids guarding a few captives.

Assessing the situation Panaka spoke first. "There are too many of them." Jinn had a look at the group before shaking his head in confidence. "They won't be a problem. Your highness under the circumstances I suggest you come to Coruscant with us." Rabe just looked at the Jedi master as she responded instantly. "Thank you ambassador but my place is with my people."

A frown came to his face. "They will kill you if you stay." Bibble couldn't stand for such words from the master. "They wouldn't dare!" Panaka explained in his place. "They need her to sign a treaty; they can't afford to kill her." Jinn shook his head again, a concerned tone to his voice. "There's something else behind this your highness, there's no logic in the federations move here. My feelings tell me they will destroy you."

Ayillh herself knew how stupid it would be for the Queen to stay on the planet, it would cause a lot more troubles than fix, if she were to stay. They might start killing the population to draw her out or bomb areas until something happened. 

Not wanting to stay on the planet herself and waste more time there, she spoke up. "He's right your Majesty. You staying will only cause more problems." Jinn turned to look at the unexpected back up but said nothing. He would rather take the help than shunning it. 

The final straw that broke the deadlock was when the governor himself spoke. "Our only hope is for the senate to side with us. Senator Palpatine will need your help." Siding with the Jedi and Bounty Hunter, Rabe looked at the 3 people who wanted her to leave. 

The problem was she couldn't make such an important decision when she was not really the queen, she knew Padme for a long time but even then she couldn't make this decision for her. Turning to face her handmaidens she spoke in contemplation. "Either choice presents great danger…" Sabe's eyes shifted to look at Padme beside her. "…To us all." It was almost an imperceptible sight but Ayillh caught the communication that passed between the two. 

Looking between them a small idea of what was going on formed in her mind and she stared intently at the handmaiden. Padme not noticing the gaze on her spoke to the rest. "We are brave your highness." 'It was a verbal confirmation to leave. So she is the real queen.' Ayillh thought to herself as her eyes sharpened, her priority changed from the safety of the fake queen to now her handmaiden.

Of course she didn't show any sign of this and would have to pretend to go along with their ruse. But the extra information was something to keep on hand. 'So they aren't that stupid.'

Ayillh thought it was stupid that the monarch and ruler of a whole planet would get captured so easily, but the fact she was a double showed they had thought about the risks of an invading army. The worst case scenario was the fake being killed instantly if they were vicious invaders, and the benefits of the fake being a priority target if a fight were to break out was another incentive.

While they focused on the decoy the real Queen could escape to safety. Sorting her thoughts out as they decided to waltz right into the hanger, Ayillh didn't pay the droids any thoughts. They were poorly made and if they Jedi couldn't even take out this rabble the order really had degraded over the years. 

She did however position herself accordingly to react, should the real Queen come under threat. Following behind the Group and making sure her rifle wasn't very obvious she watched the show before her. 

Captain Panaka motioned towards the captives as they got closer. "We'll need to free those pilots." Obi-Wan gave a nod as he moved from the group. "I'll deal with that." Ayillh watched him leave as she assessed his personality. He was rash and headstrong; she could tell that already from their conversations. Something to exploit should they come to blows. 

Turning back to the droids they were walking to, the one at the front was the command droid of the hanger. "Halt." Its robotic voice came out strictly as Jinn stopped. "I am the ambassador to the supreme chancellor and I will be taking these people to Coruscant."

The command droid and the ones behind it looked confused at the words. "Where are you taking them?" Jinn spoke firmly. "To Coruscant." Ayillh who was watching had an almost dumbfounded expression on her face. 

'Why the hell are these droids so stupid? Their processors should designate instantly that there was no plans for a ship to leave, hell any random sith commander, sergeant, or soldier would be able to instantly figure out something was wrong. 

"Coruscant, urgh...that doesn't compute...urgh, wait...uhh...You're under arrest!" The droids raised their weapons as Jinn activated his lightsabre,*Snap* *Hiss*, and sliced them in half. *Pew Pew* Blaster fire went everywhere as the fight began. 

The queens group hurriedly boarded a ship that had certain similarities to Ayillh own phantom, but she took her eyes off the design fast, she had a mission to complete. Making sure they all got aboard. She turned to look at the fighting. Seeing a group of droids coming in from the left, she dug into a pouch and pulled out a grenade.

*Beep* *Click Click Click* Holding it for a few seconds she expertly lobbed it into the group and watched them get blown to pieces. By that time both Obi-Wan and Jinn had taken out the other droids and were making their way to the ramp. 

Moving inside the ship first, Ayillh followed one of the captured pilots as he entered the cockpit. The engine rumbled to life as the systems were fired up and the ship was in the air in seconds. Ayillh looked around the room as she took in the ships technology. 

After finding out that 4 millennia had passed she had expected that the technology had advanced by leaps and bounds, but the droids they had taken down, the weapons that had been used, even this ship, nothing seemed highly advanced. 

It caused a frown to come to her face, but she pushed the thoughts out as the Pilot spoke, they had just passed the atmosphere. "There's the blockade." The large capital ship came into view as cannon fire started to target the ship. 

Ayillh braced herself to the door as the ship rocked. "Shield Generators been hit." The annoying buzz of an alarm sounded out when the shields went down and the ship started to shake even more. In the back of the ship, 4 droids activated themselves to deal with the damage. 

As they began to do their work, Obi-Wan moved over to one of the monitors and sat down. "We're losing droids fast." Hearing him Panaka grew worried. "If we don't get the shield generator fixed, we will be sitting ducks."

Ayillh rolled her eyes thinking to herself. 'Thanks for stating the obvious.' Before she could actually say it out loud the Pilot grimaced as he dodged more fire. "The shields are gone." Jinn stood next to Ayillh as the situation was reported. 

Feeling the force around him, it whispered in his ear, calming his worries, they would be fine. Just as he got that thought the Pilot shouted in surprise. "The powers back! That little droid did it! Bypassed the main power drives! Deflector shields up at maximum!"

Excited at the narrow escape from the jaws of death he gunned it past all the blaster fire and made it past the blockade. Getting into clear space he went into hyperspace as quickly as possible. Everyone let out a breath of air except Ayillh who stood stock still. 

They had only been in hyper space for 1 minute though before the pilot turned to them. "There's not enough power to get us to Coruscant, the hyper drive is leaking." Everyone turned to Jinn as he had become the de facto leader of the group once they entered the hanger. 

"We'll have to land somewhere to refuel the ship." Deciding the best cause of action Obi-Wan spoke up from his monitor. "Here master Tatooine. It's out of the way and they will not think to look for us there."

Ayillh cringed hearing the words; she like Mace, also didn't like the shit hole of a planet. One too many Hutts in her opinion. Thinking of his Queens safety on such a planet Panaka interrupted their conversation. "Can you be sure?"

As if to reassure him, Ayillh wasn't sure, Jinn commented. "It's controlled by the Hutts." Ayillh rolled her eyes. "No shit it's controlled by the Hutts." The 4 men gave her a look as she shook her head. Letting out a sigh at their expressions, she turned and exited. "I'm going to go check on the queen and then check my gear. Call me if something important happens."

Not having time to ask the woman some of the questions on his mind, Jinn watched her leave before getting back to organizing with the Guard captain, Obi-Wan and the pilot. He would ask his questions latter. 

Stepping out of the room and turning around a corner, Ayillh made sure no one was around before reaching into her belt and pulling out a small round device. Pressing on it slightly, a small red dot started to blink. Seeing that the transmitter was working properly, she put it back in her belt and continued on her way.

What happens when a crew of powerful force sensitive Sith are flung into the blockade of Naboo? How will the Jedi react to this new force in the Galaxy? How will the Sith? How will Mace and his crew? Will they let the course of the galaxy continue unhindered or will they make changes that reverberate through the force forever.

"Wesa goen home!" Jar-Jar yelled with excitement for the hundredth time.

Rubbing his forehead while trying to relieve his headache, Cain had the insatiable urge to shoot the Gungan at least 15 times until shuts up. Jar-Jar had been yelling the same thing continuously for the past hour, and everyone either ignored him or went to the opposite end of the ship.

'No one would even notice...' Cain said to himself, as he slowly raised his pistol towards the oblivious Gungan.

Suddenly coming through a sliding door, Anakin and Shmi appeared.

Sadly holstering his pistol, Cain vowed that he would one day silence the loud alien, once and for all.

"Hey! Isn't this ship so cool? The pilot has been telling me all about how it works." Anakin spoke animatedly to Cain, as he grinned from excitement.

"You'll probably fly one yourself, one day," Cain replied, while Anakin practically began to vibrate at the thought of having his own spaceship.

"Not until your older," Shmi said to Anakin, faking a stern look.

"Ahhhh"

Looking at the Skywalkers, Cain could just feel how much happier and lively they were. Even, Shmi seemed to relax and joke around with Anakin more.

As Cain continued to talk with Anakin about all the ship functions that he learned about, Captain Panaka suddenly exited the Queen's Chamber.

"Cain, come in we need to start planning," Panaka called out as he then reentered the private chambers.

"Duty calls." Cain joked to Anakin as he walked into the Queen's Chamber to begin planning their assault to retake Naboo.

As Cain walked into the room Jar-Jar quickly followed behind him. Ignoring the Gungan, Cain saw that Padmé seemed to finally switch back with Sabe, as Sabe was now dressed as a handmaiden again and Padmé the Queen.

Padmé sat on her throne while wearing a fancy red dress and white makeup.

As Cain stopped next to Captain Panaka, he glanced at Sabe and smiled, as she was finally out of disguise. 

Returning a smirk, Sabe winked at Cain then went back to standing silently behind Padmé.

"The moment we land the Federation will arrest you, and force you to sign the treaty," Qui-Gon said straightaway.

"I agree...I'm not sure what you hope to accomplish by this," Obi-Wan said while questioning Padmé.

"I'm going to take back what's ours," Padmé said stubbornly.

"There are only twelve of us, Your Highness....we have no army," Panaka said while trying to reason with Padmé.
 
As everyone was silent thinking of the overwhelming odds that they were up against, Cain suddenly broke the silence.

"What if we had more people to fight for us?" Cain asked everyone in the room.

"We couldn't possibly get anyone to fight with us. There isn't enough time to organize it on such short notice." Qui-Gon answered.

"Aren't you forgetting the only other intelligent life on Naboo." Cain hinted while swerving his head towards Jar-Jar.

"The Gungans!" Padmé suddenly exclaimed.

"Mesa?" Jar-Jar asked while pointing at himself.

"Jar-Jar if we're going to save Naboo, we're going to need the Gungan's help," Padmé stated.

With their plan of action in place, Cain moved to his own separate cabin to equipped himself for the inevitable battle. Cain quickly stripped out of his normal clothing and equipped the beskar body armor under his guard uniform.

Grabbing both of his custom pistols, Cain strapped them onto his body while attaching a few thermal detonators to his belt. He continued to load up on a few extra weapons and then reached in his inventory to grab his lightsaber.

Just in case the situation called for it Cain wanted to be as prepared as possible for anything that might happen.

While he was placing the hilt behind his back, Cain was surprised when someone knocked at his door.

Walking towards the metal door Cain opened it and was taken by surprise to see that it was Sabé.

"Hey! Felt like I haven't seen you in forever." Cain exclaimed while letting her into the room.

"We've certainly been busy, with planning to fight an entire droid army and all." Sabé joked, even though the situation seemed hopeless.

"When we get the Gungans help, the metalheads won't even know what hit them. We'll be back on Naboo before you know it." Cain said, trying to give Sabé hope that everything was going to work out fine.

"With how driven Padmé is right now, I doubt even a droid army could stop whatever she's planning," Sabé said as she sat down on Cain's bed.

Following her example, Cain sat down next to her as they continued to joke and laugh with one another, trying to make the best out of their morbid situation.

Until suddenly the bracelet that Sabé was wearing beeped and flashed red.

"It seems I'm needed by our Queen," Sabé said with a smile, as she hopped to her feet.

"Well best not to keep her waiting," Cain said while standing up and walking her out the door. 

But just as Sabé was about to leave, she suddenly stopped and twirled around to face Cain. Moving forward before he could react, Sabé wrapped her arms around Cain as she leaned herself against his body.

Although completely taken by surprise, Cain still returned the warm hug, as he wrapped himself around Sabé.

"Don't you dare do anything stupid. I swear, I'll kick your ass if you run off and get yourself shot." Sabé said seriously, as she buried her face into Cain's collarbone.

"I promise," Cain replied, even though he knew he would be breaking that promise.

Leaning back slightly, Sabé stared Cain straight in his gray eyes before nodding her head.

"Good," Sabé said curtly while letting go of Cain and exiting the room, but not before kissing him on the cheek then quickly walking out.

Shocked by what just happened, Cain stood in a daze. He could still feel the warmth where Sabé gave him the short, but memorable peck on the cheek. 

Smiling to himself as he made his way out of the room, Cain went to go find Qui-Gon while attempting to refocus on the matters at hand.

Walking through the ship Cain finally found Qui-Gon by himself, seemingly meditating.

"We need to talk," Cain announced immediately.

"What would you like to discuss?" Qui-Gon with his eyes still close.

"I saw you die."

Finally opening his eyes, Qui-Gon simply raised his eyebrow and gave Cain a look of curiosity.

"How do you see me dying?" Qui-Gon asked, almost as if he was humoring Cain for the heck of it.

"The Sith Lord will be on Naboo. I saw you and Obi-Wan fighting him, but you were separated. The Sith will overpower you, then stab you with his lightsaber." Cain said, while technically not lying as he saw this happen in the movie.

Qui-Gon didn't say anything for a while as he contemplated this information. Stroking his beard, Qui-Gon began to slowly nod his head.

"Hmm..knowledge of the future can be useful, but extremely dangerous. The future is always changing. There is no clear path and only our own choices may change destiny." Qui-Gon wisely quoted to Cain.

"...So does that mean you believe me?" Cain asked clearly confused.

"Of course I do." Qui-Gon suddenly said with a smile.

"And you're ok with just dying?" Cain asked in disbelief.

"Once you've been a Jedi for as long as I have, you learn that destiny is a fickle thing. Trying to change the future, will only make you forget to live in the present. But with The Force, all will be revealed in time." Qui-Gon claimed as he stood up from his mediation.

Cain could only sigh as he watched the eccentric Jedi Master walk away. He knew that Qui-Gon would say some mystical crap like 'Belief in the Force' or 'The Force is with me'.

Cain was happy that at least he told Qui-Gon about his fate, so now it was time to execute Plan B. 

Completely improvise everything, and hope for the best outcome.

As the lush green planet of Naboo came into view, the silver cruiser began to scan for enemies. Once scanned, it showed that there was a single Federation battle cruiser orbiting the planet.

"The blockade's gone," Panaka commented as he inspected the ship's scanner.

"The war's over. No need for it now." Obi-Wan said grimly.

"I have one battleship on my scope." The pilot announced while steering the ship towards Naboo's surface.

"A droid control ship and they've probably already spotted us. We haven't much time." Obi-Wan muttered as he prepared to disembark.
 
Cain stood on the bridge of the ship next to Sabé, now dressed as the Queen, Captain Panaka, the other guards, and Padmé. 

They were almost about to land near the lake where the Gungans resided, and hopefully, get them to join their cause.

Already knowing with Padmé's amazing negotiation skills, the Gungans would soon be very motivated to help fight the droids. So Cain's only real concern was killing Maul and making sure Qui-Gon doesn't die.

As the group prepared themselves, the elevator door slid open to reveal Anakin and Shmi.

"Hi! Where have you been?" Anakin exclaimed as he ran towards Padmé.

"Annie! Shmi! What are you doing here?" Padmé said in surprise, as she didn't know either of them were on the ship.

"I'm with Qui-Gon...but they're not going to let me be a Jedi. I'm too old." Anakin grumbled sadly.

"This is going to be dangerous" Padmé warned Anakin and Shmi.

"Where are we going?" Shmi asked.

"To war, I'm afraid. The Queen has had to make the most difficult decision of her life. We are a peaceful people." Padmé sadly announced while secretly talking about herself.

" I want to help." "We want to help" Anakin and Shmi said together.

"Well you better get ready, we're here," Cain said suddenly as the ship's doors opened up to reveal the beautiful planet of Naboo.

After appearing before an omnipotent being, Cain was sent to another universe with a gift from this god.

Waking up in the middle of a forest, Cain found himself completely alone, but for some reason he was a little kid again. 

Freaking out in the forest, Cain began seeing floating words everywhere he looked, and A weird Gungan kept chasing him.
