Chris and the boys arrived in front of the girl's room to escort them. Daphne was wearing a purple dress while Velma had an orange one. 

"Well I guess you guys won't ever change your color huh," Fred said. Daphne suddenly linked her arm with Fred. 


"Ahh ummm..." Fred was shocked and did not know what to say.

"It's a man's job to escort the lady don't you think?" Daphne asked. Fred nodded and walked forward a bit rigidly. Velma and Chris chuckled looking at Fred's awkwardness. 

Then Velma then linked her arm to Chris' shocking him.

"Well then please escort me," Velma said.

"Of course," Chris said as he led Velma. 

Shaggy and Scooby looked at each other. 

"Well then, I suppose I'll be escorting you Scoob," Shaggy said while laughing. 

Scooby then quickly pulled out some women's clothing and wig and put it on. 

"Reah hehehehehe," Scooby said as he linked one of his leg to Shaggy's arm and they walked together. 

The gang arrived at the dining room where there were plenty of people eating happily. Looking at the reaction of the people eating, Chris knew that the food served here were top-notch. 

'Well looks like I'm eating well today,' Chris thought. 

A Caucasian man who looked to be in his 50's came up to them. 

"Hello there. My name is Jacob Hemmings and I am the general manager of the hotel's restaurant. I have expected your arrival. Follow me to VIP room please,"

Jacob walked past all the food which made Shaggy and Scooby drool over them.

"Shaggy, Scooby, don't start devouring the food right now. We'll get our chance," Chris said.

Shaggy straightened his suit and smiled. 

"Of course Chris. Like Scoob and I aren't some animals without any restraint,"

"But I'm a dog," Scooby said pointing at himself ready to strike at the food. 

"Scoob, we are civilized. We'll get to clean up this place in a bit," Shaggy said. 

"Alright," Scooby said as he looked at the food and then followed the gang once more. 

"Besides, they'll always refill it so like we'll eat as much as we wan-" Shaggy and Scooby's mouths drops once they entered the room Jacob led them into. However, it wasn't just them. Fred, Daphne, Velma, and even Chris was surprised at what was in the room. 

The room was as big as a large classroom with tables upon tables stacked with food. Salads, Burgers, Pastas, Pizzas, and more were all in just one room encircling a single table that had 8 seats. 

"Holy... Am I in Heaven? Scoob pinch me," Shaggy said. Scooby pinched him hard which made him squeal and glare at Scooby. 

"Hello Mystery Gang," an unfamiliar man's voice said. 

The girls screamed which made Fred and Chris groan. In the room was a Uncle Tom standing next to a handsome man wearing a chef's outfit. Chris immediately recognized him. 

"Hello, Mr. Woods," Chris said extending his hand. "My name is Chris Kim," 

"Hello Chris, you can just call me Michael,"

"Oh thank you Michael, I-"

Chris was pushed aside by Velma and Daphne. They were both looking at Michael with a fervish look while holding a book and a paper respectively. 

"Hello Mr. Woods. My name is Velma Dinkley," Velma said excitedly.

"I'm Daphne Blake!" Daphne said. 

"It's nice meeting you girls," Michael said while laughing. "Like I asked Chris, just call me Michael. It's not everyday you meet two beautiful girls like you two. Especially you," 

Michael looked at Velma while finishing his last portion which made Chris glare at him. 

'System permission to terminate this sissy boy,' Chris asked. 

-Host will be forcefully removed from this world and the existence of Chris Kim will be thoroughly removed.-

'Just a wishful thought,' Chris thought while sighing 

"Um... I'm a huge fan of your work. Please sign it!" Velma said handing her book to Michael. 

"A fan of my book?" Michael asked. "Haven't seen one who was a fan of my book in a long time. Well I suppose it's because my cooking skills surpass my literary one by quite a lot," 

"Not true. Mr. Wo- I mean Michael. When I first read your book, I felt that my love for the occult has deepened. So please, don't say that your literary skills are bad. I think it's really good," Velma said passionately. 

Michael looked at Velma shocked. He then laughed loudly once more. 

"You know Velma. I haven't told anyone this, but I don't absolutely love cooking. I mean it's my job, and I like it, but I'm only doing it because I am talented in it just like how your Mystery Gang is talented at figuring out and capturing criminals. My love for literature has been with me since I was a little boy. You know I would like to talk to you more tomorrow at the cafe in the water park. Would you care to join me?"

"I think she's fi-" Before Chris could finish his sentence, Velma interrupted him.

"Oh I would love to!" Velma exclaimed. "I would love to talk to you about your book and your childhood," 

"Excellent," Michael said. "Just meet me at the cafe at 11 and let's have a good chat," 

Velma squealed with joy. Chris felt a bit down. He spent weeks and tried his best to save her life, but it turned out that all Michael needed was a book and fame. Although this wasn't his world, Chris felt that he was truly a part of it and even when he leaves, he'll always feel that it'll be another home for him. 

"Alright Michael, enough chitchatting and let's get eating. The food you cooked is going to get cold," Uncle Tom said. 

"Yes we're like starved," Shaggy said as he quickly walked in front of the table where the food was at.

"Reah! Starved!" Scooby said as he stood next to Shaggy with his stomach growling loudly.

"Alright then, let's get started," Michael said.

Chris tried hacking his favorite game, but once he successfully hacked it, a frown appeared and then he passed out. When he came back to life, he realized he obtained a hacking system.

7 years later

"Push," the nurse said, touching my bump. My baby was ready to arrive in this world.

"Baby, please push harder," Zain said softly, looking scared and happy.

"Go away, you fool!" I yelled at him and saw him in my peripheral vision that he was walking out of the room, my eyes widened in shock.

"Where are you going" I shouted at him.

"You said, I should get out and I'm..." I shut him.

"You fool! you are going where?" I glared at him while he gulped, nibbling his kissable lips.

"Outside" he replied sheepishly.

"What!!!" I screeched while he used his hands to covered his ears.

"Were you not the one that our this little you and me here" I scowled at him, "I swear if you ever come to me for sex. I swear to God, I will castrate you" I growled while his eyes widened at my vulgarity.

"Baby, you can't do that to me. I'm sorry" he panicked.

"Don't baby me, you idiot" I whimpered while he came to me, then caressed my cheeks and kissed me.

I forgot I was in the labour room before we heard a throat cleared. He looked away shyly while I'd that smirked on my face. I could make him flustered.

"Don't touch me, you mutt?" I gritted my teeth, I detached my hands from his.

"Aw aw, please hold me zainny" I cried out, seeking for his grip.

It was paining!.

"Please hold me" tears sputtered out from my eyes.

"Push ma'am, the baby is on the way," the nurse said.

"Am I playing here?" I groaned, "aw aw, it's painful" I screamed again. 

"The head is out, please a little more" the nurse encouraged me while I held Zain's hand so hard that I knew it would be bruised.

Well, payback for getting me pregnant, I thought. 

"Baby, you are doing good," he said pecking my forehead while I rolled my eyes and groaning.

The baby sound was heard, I couldn't believe it.

My baby.

I held him in my arms gently, afraid his little body could fall.

Zain came to me and showered me with kisses while I giggled like a schoolgirl.

"Our baby, I'm so proud of you to ruqoyyah, you did it!" He praised me.

"Thanks for making me a complete man" he whispered while exhaustion took over my body.

Everything had changed in the past seven years. I couldn't believe it that I was a mother when the doctor said I couldn't give birth but God surprised me and blessed me.

After been discharged from the hospital, I was in a depression state for some months before I started to feel well again with the help of everyone around me. They helped me emotionally. The following year I started afresh, from the beginning.

I was now a graduate of Abu Zaria with the Bsc in the English language.

My dream!

But nowhere I was with my baby and husband. I smiled.

I sat on the bed and saw a paper slip on the bed, I took it and checked. It reads.

I giggled while holding my stomach, I walked to the bathroom and showered.

As I went to the closet to put on a dress, I saw another slip. I opened it.

I smiled and put on the red dress,  I walked to the dressing table for my make up but saw another slip.

I read out and laughed, feeling blessed to have him in my life. The house was silent. I walked to the garden and was awestruck.

It was night, the moon was glowing it fully at the centre, there were thousands of stars in the sky. The red bulb was connected to the trees and the pictures of mine, that I was aware of and not was hung around. I walked further and saw red petals were used to write "will you marry me, love". I used my hands to clamped my mouth shut, my heart was beating heretically.

Zain walked out from the tree and held the picture of me labouring... I winced, remembering my vulgar tongue.

He came to me and held my hand then stroked my cheeks. "Ruqoyyah, if I was a painter, I would have paint you to show you how much I love you, if I was a poet, I would have written you series of a poem to show you how I love you. Ruqoyyah, I love you so much, I don't know how I'll live my life without you. My life without you is like bread without yeast, my thought without you is like a car without fuel, and my plans without you is like a phone without a SIM. Please be part of my life" I chuckled lightly while he smiled at me. "The last time you dragged me to court for owning you some love, the justice asked me how much love o owe you, I told him it was uncountable and that I won't be able to finish the payment, even till eternity. Then, the judge adjourned the case until after our wedding day! If it is raining, I'll love you, if it's sunny I'll cherish you, if it's dark I'll value you, if it's hot I'll admire you, and even in a cold-weather I'll handle you like a treasure. Can you make me the happiest person on earth by saying yes to my proposal" he said looking at me in, then to my lips before he captured my lips in his. Fireworks exploded on me, he nibbled my lips while I savoured the moment. I love the taste of his lips; his lips were my favourite candy. We detached when there was a need for oxygen.

"But we are married?" I asked catching my breath.

"Yeah, but I need to marry you again" he replied caressing my face.

"Okay, yes, I will marry you" as I said so, the big bulb glowed, making everywhere seen. Everyone came out of the hidden and clapped.

"I love you Flukky Rukky"

"I love you too Zainny," I said and kissed his jaw.

I can't believe I'm through with this book :). This book was impromptu, I mean I wrote it in my exercise note just three days, during Ramadan before typing it here:). Even the inspiration came unexpectedly, I was washing plates in the kitchen when the idea came to me, LOLs.

Now that I'm through, the new book I'm starting is..... But before posting it, I want to finish either Abomination or adiya amir.

The twins turned to look at the incomer. It was a handsome young man with a charming pair of eyes that had been labelled the nation's most beautiful eyes. His blonde hair was slightly messy, emitting a vibe that was a little dangerous but also irresistible. It was not easy to count the girls that had been charmed silly by him. 
Adrian was not that fazed, but Ariana was overjoyed and she jumped onto him. "Uncle Fengxiao!" 
Lin Fengxiao picked up the little girl. "Little beauty, did you miss me?" 
"Uh-huh. I missed Uncle Fengxiao very much." 
"Really? You missed him more than you missed me?" A cool voice interrupted. Only then did the little girl notice the young lad behind Lin Fengxiao. "Third Uncle!" 
After hugging her third uncle Lu Xian Yu, the little girl fell into deep thought. She really wanted to play with her third uncle, but Uncle Fengxiao was really too handsome and she wanted to play with him too. And these two didn't get along that much. Who should she choose? 
As for why Lin Fengxiao and Lu Xian Yu didn't get along, could there possibly be any other reason? 
This punk, Lin Fengxiao, was trying to get close to his sister. Getting close to his sister wasn't a crime but the girls that this man had fooled around with could fence the entire city twice. How could he stand it?

Soon, Lu Meili was speaking with Katy and the twins were playing with their great grandfather. The other men were discussing whatever it was that men discussed when gathered together. The young woman was wearing a long champagne colored gown that was backless. Her long straight hair fell down her waist, slightly revealing slivers of her back when the wind blew on it. 
She exuded elegance from head to toe, and her beauty was sure enough to send any man into a craze. Lin Fengxiao was no different. He walked over slowly and revealed one of those irresistible smiles. 
"Hello, Xian Li. It's been long since we last saw." 
Lu Xian Li turned around and faced the young man. "Hello, cousin." 
Lin Fengxiao felt a stab in his heart. C-c-cousin? 
"Do you need something, cousin?" Lu Xian Li asked, deliberately emphasizing the last word. 
She was a grown up woman. How could she not tell this young man's intentions? He obviously treated her as a girl he could flirt with. 
Not only did she not want to have anything to do with a flirtatious man like him, he had bullied her a great deal when they were kids. 
"I'll go back then. My sister must be looking for me." She said and sauntered away. 
"Little Feng." A voice called out when he was about to follow her. 
Lin Fengxiao turned and looked at the newcomer. "Grandma." 
Lin Fengxiao had grown up loving Xia Rou more than anyone else. Although he knew that Xia Rou was not his grandmother and Lin Zhou was not his grandfather, the two of them had doted on him all his life. It was hard to not consider them his real family. 
Xia Rou took the young man's hand and examined him. "You youngsters! What's so good about losing weight? Look how skinny you are. Do you want to break grandma's heart?" 
Lin Fengxiao immediately pacified the old lady. "How can that be? If grandma wants me to mot lose weight, I will eat a little more." 
Xia Rou finally smiled at how obedient he was. If she said to go east, he would go east. And if she said to go west, he would go west without questioning her. 
"Grandma, please smile more. You are so beautiful when you smile." 
"You punk. You know that you have done something wrong, don't you?" Xia Rou admonished, though her eyes were full of love. 
"Huh, grandma? What could I possibly do?" 
"Little Feng, listen to grandma, okay? Xian Li is my granddaughter and therefore your cousin. You cannot play with her. Do you understand?" 
The young man looked like he had lost a life. "Grandma, I understand." 
Xia Rou patted his shoulder. "Of course, if you seriously like her to the point that you no longer play around with other women, if you love her deeply enough to want to marry her, I will not have any objections since you are not biologically related." 
"Thank you grandma!" The young man hugged her tightly and ran off to find Lu Xian Li. 
"Haiz... the children have all grown up." Xia Rou revealed a smile.
She had no more regrets. She found back her Little Wan, her Lihua got married, Xuanxuan got married too and now, she was thinking about her grandchildren. Well, that was pretty much settled too. 
Meili had a lovely pair of twins and a husband who loved her to the heavens, Xian Yu was doing well in the business field and Katy had a son now. As for Xian Li and Fengxiao, that was not for her to discuss. Fate would take its course.

I wake up to the sound of soft snorning. Dad doesnt snore and dad doesnt stay in my room. I open my eyes to the room being dark. My body feels heavy. I feel around with my hands and work out that Derek must be with me. I try to move away from him. 
"Just a little longer" I hear him moan sleeply. 
I try to wiggle free, he moves his body off mine and i get up. 
"Ouch." 
The light turns on. 
"What hurts?" I look at him speachless, my quiet ouch wakes him up? not the moving to get away. 
"My body" I walk very slowly towards the bathroom. When I come back out my legs start to feel better. I look at Derek. His chest holy cow. I sit on the bed and reach under it for my first aid kit. 
"I fear Im a bit too strong." 
"Nar, its just a scratch, it will be gone in the morning." I turn towards him and he rolls his eyes with what he sees in my hand. I ignore that and pull out the alcholic wipes and wipe over his wound. Than I grab a big band aid and place that over the top. "It will heal, Im supernatural remember." He grabs my figers and places them on his lips and kisses them. I put the first aid box away and sit on the bed. He moves me with my back facing him as his places his hands on my shoulders to rub. 
"Were you in pain after the first time we make love?"
"Just  little. It was my legs mainly. Its like i ran longer than normal." 
"It will take a bit to get use too."
"Ok, Im really not use this kind of sex. It feels real different."
"How so?" I turn to face him. 
"You just want to hear how much better you make me feel than anyone else, giving you evidence than you and i are truely true loved." 
He smiles."So I am better?" I shake my head. He leans in and kisses me. "I dont need evidence to prove anything. I just need you to be aware that I am in love with you and that will never change." 
His sweet words making me crave his touch. I lay down and he joins me as i switch off the light. He grabs my body and pulls me into him tangling us. I dont remember when i fell asleep but i felt safe, like nothing is going to hurt me and im never going to be alone again. 

I woke up to my alarm. I roll over and hear something squish underneath me. Paper? I pick it up. 
"Goodmorning beautiful, had to leave for work. Use this if you need to drive long places." 
"Use what?" I look down to where i picked up the paper and see a dark purple key chance with my name on it. I pull it up and see keys attached to it. He must of left me his car for me to borrow for the weekend. Sweet. 
I get up and get ready for karate and i pack my whites into my bag with my brown belt. I walk down starts to the kitchen. man im hungry. I eat eight weekbixs and two pieces of fruit. I pack two sandwiches and more fruit hoping that will get me through my practise today. I put on my shoes and walk to the front door where i see a note attached.
"Lisa, we need to talk about this when i get home." Talk about what? I open the front door and find a purple skyline in my driveway. 
"Oh fuck!!" 
Ignoring the fact that there is a super expensive car in my driveway i walk to the end of my street than get my phone out of the bag. I dial Dereks number. 
"This number is currently in flight mode, please leave a message after the beep."
"Um Derek, its lisa please ring me back as soon as you can. thanks." I hang up. I throw the phone into my bag and run to my session. It must be one of his sisters car. 
My muscles are still hurting after last nights sex. After an hour of workouts we sat and ate. God im hungry. I ate all my food in one go. After training I stopped at the friut shop to get something to eat. There is no possible way a person my size can eat this much without getting fat. Reaching the start of my street my phone rang. 
"Hello" 
"Haha hey pull the phone away from your ear and look at the screen." 

"Oh." Dereks face was smiling on the phone. Strange device. 
"Just landed and i heard your message. whats up?" 
"Oh right, the car is it one of your sisters?:
"Nope." He makes a real big smile. 
"Your mums?" 
"Nope?" 
"Your dads?" 
"No Lisa it isnt dads, cant really see him with a car thats purple."
"Please for the life of me tell me someone in your family owns it." 
"Yes." Thank god. "Its yours" I drop my smile. 
"Thats not the answer i was looking for Derek. I cant afford that car and my dad is going to flip major." 
"Why do you need to afford the car? Its a gift." 
"Its way to much please give it to someone else?"
"Nope its yours. Gotta go."
"I dont want the fancy car Derek."
"Well you got a fancy car."
"What I am going to tell my dad, whos home right now." Crap. 
"Your super hot god like boyfriend gave it to you." I hit my head with my hand. As  he hung up the phone. The screen goes black. 
Great, this guy is serious trouble, why the bloody heal does he want to spend so much god dam money on me. It starting to make me uncomfortable. 
I walk up to my dad who is waiting at the front door for me. No point in sugar coating this. 
"Hey dad."
"Hey young lady. I need an explanation for this." He points to the purple car. 
"Apparently its a gift." My dads face drops. 
"Do you know how much this car costs?" 
"Not really, I know it would have to be very expensive."
"Its three  five bedroom houses." My face drops. Fuck!  Surely it cant be that much. Its a lot of metal thats all it is. Why would someone be stupid enough to buy a car thats much? 
I pull out the keys and toss them to him. 
"Want to take it for a test drive?" My dads eyes opened very wide and a smile slowly starts spreading on his face as we both walk towards the car. 

Its been a while since dad and i spent some time together. He asked alot of questions about Derek and alot of them I had no clue about. He finally asked about school and my hobby. He talked about his work and the way that he has been slowly getting promoted. Hence the reason he is home early. To think about the promotion that they have just asked him to take. It was a longish drive and you can tell my dad enjoyed every minute of it. 

We decided to park the car in the garage so that it doesn't stand out and so that no one steals it. I double checked to make sure the door was locked. 
"How do I convince him to take it back? Hes already got me a new phone and laptop." 
"Thats something for you and him to work out. Im ok with him spending money on you. Not sure why I would be but you do deserve it." I grabbed the books out of the back seat that i noticed was there when i got into the car and took them to my room. I pulled out the little book about me from my school bag and sat down at my desk. I flip the cover. It took me an hour to read the book with me hardly understanding any of it. I got no questions and i got no answers. 
I look at the books that I found in the car. there is seven all together. I open one but before i can start reading the laptop starts making a noise. I open it to see Derek on there. 
"Hello."
"Hello gorgeous, how are you going?" 
"Fine thank you, before you start going on about stuff. I found seven books in the car." 
"Good, I was hopeing you would. They are books about my kind." 
"I see. any order i have to read them in?" 
"Hold on." He walks away from the screen and comes back with his dad. 
"Hello Lisa."
"Evening Sir. " He smiles. 
"Show me in inside of one of the book covers. and George is fine." I lift up one book. "book 4." 
I grab a sticky note pad and a pen and write on it. i ripped it off and stuck it to the front of the book. we did that for all seven books. 
"Thank you. um. Mr George." 
"Your welcome. any questions just hit me up. im an expert. and just George is fine."
"Ok." He walks away leaving Derek staring at me. 
"What?" 
"I miss you like crazy." 
"Its only been one day Derek." 
"Im not surviving." 
"You look fine to me." 
He shakes his head. "I dont get why is so hard for me but so easy for you." 
"I guess its because you have the gold streaks and i dont." 
"Well about that." I look at him. 
"Last night while we.... You started showing small ones." Ah crap. 
"So your saying that im starting to love you cause your amazing in bed." 
"Haha, What ever works for you." I shake my head. Love is for fools. 
"Well I got to get back to work. Sleep well." 
"Goodnight Derek." The screen goes black. I have alot of reading to do. Ah shit, I completely forgot to get up him again for the car.

In a small hospital in the outskirts of  City A
"Nurse Su keep O.R. 1 ready. We have a  heart attack patient coming."
"Right away Doctor." The woman in her late thirties named Nurse Su came running from the general ward to the reception area with a  tray of blood-soaked cotton. 
One could smell a strong scent of blood coming from the general ward.
"Make a call to the waiting area and notify Doctor Yang to be ready outside the O.R. 1 for a heart attack patient  ASAP."
 After saying this to the receptionist Nurse Su went back to the general ward. 
"But Doctor Yang is currently attending the ward 2 patient !" yelled the receptionist but it was of no use as Nurse Su went back without listening.
"Then tell any other C.S. to come they must be in the changing room ." told a man in his late twenties entering the reception area.
 "But Manager Wu no other doctors are free." told the receptionist. 
" What? Are you sure?" questioned the man referred to as manager Wu.
 " Yes Sir there aren't ."
" Then tell Nurse Wang to come."
"But Manager Wu we need a doctor, what can Nurse Wang do in this. She isn't a doctor and furthermore I have not seen her since morning." said the receptionist with a confused look on her face. 
"Just do what you are told and also don't ever question my decisions again. Call and notify  Nurse Wang  about the situation she must be  in the hospital library ." 
After saying this Manager Wu went back to his office with a stern look on his face. 
The receptionist was still in the daze didn't know what to do. "Just call her" told the fellow receptionist who was quietly observing the whole situation. "But N-" the other receptionist cut off what she was going to say " 
You are still new in this hospital you should do what your seniors tell you to do".Hearing this the new receptionist hesitantly called Nurse Wang.

"Hold on, what are you talking about? Altered how?"

She moved over to the loveseat and I sat next to her. She started going over certain things in the paperwork that didn't add up to her, and it actually all made sense. I don't know how I didn't see it earlier.

"How did you even pick these things out in a matter of minutes?"

I was genuinely curious at this point.

"I've learned about more than just marketing management, to say the least. I've grown up with family members in all sorts of occupations. You probably didn't notice anything off before because you were surprised at the initial result it had shown."

I looked at her with complete and utter amazement, and she just flashed that adorable smile of hers.

"It would explain the sudden interest in getting you involved. She has virtually nothing, and you have, well... everything. A stable job, an amazing home, and plenty of money. She makes you think he's your son, and in turn, she gets a payout from you. As well as probably pawning him off on you."

"Well in that case, I'll get someone to see about these results as soon as possible. But in the meantime, we'll just play along with the little scheme of hers. I should have known she was up to no good the moment she stepped into my office."

She gave another smile and placed a hand on my thigh. She drives me absolutely crazy, everything about this woman was perfect. And what she did now just added onto the madness for her.

I couldn't help it, I grabbed her in my arms and pulled her into a kiss. I slid my tounge over her bottom lip and she parted them in acceptance. Our tounges danced around in eachothers mouths, and I could feel myself already getting hard.

I don't what it is about her that turns me on so much, but I love it either way. I wanted so badly to pick up where we left off, but I knew this meeting needed to be taken care of. I reluctantly pulled away.

"What was that for?" She asked with a smile.

"I just wanted to show you how much you mean to me. You amaze me more and more each day, and I'm thankful to have you. I love you, Kätzchen."

There it was again. "I love you." That's the second time he's said that now, and I still honestly have no idea how to react or respond to that. I guess I'm still trying to figure all of this stuff out for myself... I mean it's not like I can base my feelings off of other relationships, because I've never been in a actual one before.

I hated not responding to that, or saying it back. But I can't... not now at least.

"I guess we should head out to that meeting then.." I said as I looked away from his piercing gaze.

He was silent a moment before getting up.

"Lets head out then."

He grabbed my hand and pulled me up, interlocking our fingers as we headed for the door.

I lounged on the loveseat in my office, finally getting a little rest in from the nonstop meetings this week.

Knock knock.

I opened my eyes but said nothing. Hoping whoever it was would go away.

Knock knock knock.

"Roman, I know you're in there."

What could she possibly want now? More money? I didn't want to let her in, but I knew she wouldn't leave on her own. I stood up, making my way to the door, and reluctantly opened it.

"Airi, what is it you want now? Now isn't-"

I abruptly stopped, as I was quietly interrupted by a small voice.

"Mommy, why are we here? Who's this man?"

I looked down to see a small child standing beside Airi, holding her hand. It was like my mind and body were stuck... looking down at the innocent look he was giving me.

"Don't stare hun, it's not polite. This here is Roman, and this is his work place. You'll be seeing a lot more of him soon, so I wanted to introduce you. Go on, say hello."

He let go of her hand and stepped a little closer to me, looking up once again.

"Hello Mr. Roman. My names Koda."

"Hello... Airi, can I talk with you a moment. Alone."

She looked at me, then Koda.

"Here sweety, take your bag and go over and check out the books okay?"

A huge smile plastered over his face as she said that, and he took off towards the wall of books.

I moved to my desk and sat down, she took a seat across from me.

"He really likes books, doesn't he?"

"He loves them. He chooses books over toys any day. He gets that from you, you know."

I looked back towards him and sighed. He sat in the corner of the room with a book in his lap. He's only three, how is he so interested in books? Can he even read them?

I looked back towards Airi, who was smiling at me.

"What are you doing here with him Airi?"

"What do you mean?"

She looked at him then back at me, lowering her voice a little.

"He's your son Roman, I thought you'd want to at least see him."

"I'd like to know before you just decide to bring him here. Don't you think you're taking this a little fast? Have you told him already?"

She sat back in her seat and crossed her legs.

"Not yet. I wanted you two to meet first, see what he thinks about you. He's very skeptical of new people."

"Airi, you can't just keep showing up here whenever you feel like it, this is-"

Just then my phone rang. It was Kätzchen. I instantly stopped what I was saying to answer.

"Hello Kätzchen. What is it?"

Shit. I almost forgot about the dinner we had planned for tonight. I'm going to be late...

"No no, I'm on my way now. Something came up.. I'll be there in fifteen minutes."

"No, everything's fine. Just an unexpected visitor... yes, I know. I didn't know either. I'll let you go now, I'm heading out. I'll see you soon Kätzchen."

I hung up the phone and Airi just gave me an odd look. She obviously wasn't thrilled about this, she probably already knew who was on the other line.

"So that's it, you're just going to leave? We just got here Roman."

I walked over to her, pulled her up out of the chair, and towards the door. She called Koda over, who seemed to not want to let the book go.

"What do you expect Airi? You show up unexpectedly with a child I've never met before, and expect me to drop everything I'm doing to please your needs. I have a life, I have things planned, and I'm not just throwing them aside for you."

Next thing I know, I feel a small hand tugging at my pants. I look down to see Koda at my side, clutching the book to his chest.

"Mr. Roman, could I borrow this book from you please? I really like it."

I just stated down at him for a moment, then keeled down to face him. I may want nothing to do with his mother, but he did seem like a sweet kid. Whether he's mine or not.

"Of course you can. Keep it as long as you like okay?"

With that he exploded with excitement. Jumping up and down, tugging on Airi's dress.

"Mommy, did you hear that? He said I can keep it as long as I want to! When can we come back to see Mr. Roman? I like him, he let's me borrow books."

She looked down at him and sighed.

"I don't know sweetie. We'll have to see later okay? Now let's go, so Roman can get back to him plans."

She grabbed his hand and started walking away. I stood back up and went to close the door.

"Thank you Mr. Roman!"

He turned around and waved goodbye before continuing on with his mother. He really was a sweet kid...

I strolled back over to my desk yo grab my jacket, then hurried out of the building. I needed to get to that restaurant quickly... I already know Kätzchen's mind is probably running wild knowing that I'm going to be late because of Airi...

Ang kanyang puting buhok at kulubot nang balat ay ebidensya ng mga nag daang taon na ginugol sa pang aaliw ng mga nakikinig sa kanyang radio show. Janna: Thank you for inviting me again here on your radio show. It's been a while. The last time I was here I was pregnant with my first child then.
Radio host: Oh, well, my pleasure. You are always welcome here. For the regular listeners, you all know that she was an avid listener of mine ever since. So, how's your little girl?
Janna: She's fine. Thanks for asking. She's doing great. She's now three years old. My son is turning one this year.
Radio host: Oh yeah, you had a son. Congratulations. That's good to hear. Your children are doing well, I see. So, as you know, the reason why you are invited again is because of your successful debut novel. "Hidden Regrets". Some of the listeners, they've been bugging me nonstop, and they're really a persistent bunch, loved to hear from you. The first time you are here, you are just a newcomer who was eager to introduce your work. And now, you already have the best selling novel. How exciting was that?
Janna: (tumawa) Yeah. I felt overwhelmed with all the attention. Now I know the feeling when they say you got everyone's attention now. Of course, it was a very happy moment for me. Finally, I have something to be proud of as a writer.
Radio host: Well, it is evident with your smile tonight. Well, some of my listeners want to know a thing or two about your best-selling novel.
Janna: Well, I'm looking forward to this night. And I'm taking this opportunity to thank all the people who appreciate and loved my novel and thought that my novel inspired them. Thank you all!
Radio host: I know they really appreciate you being here and I on the other hand; I'm looking forward to meeting you again, So, tell us about this phenomenal novel of yours. Your first novel.
Janna: Yeah, my first.
Radio host. Your very first novel. So, tell me, who or what inspire you to write this kind of novel?
Janna: You know what, I can never thank you enough for letting me guest here tonight. I just want to clarify that the main character in the novel is not based on my best friend's life. No, it was not. The girl in the novel was a random individual who wished for a better life and then later regrets what she took for granted and thrown away when she thought the time to live a splendid life came along. My best friend was the one who encouraged me to put my thoughts into writing about this story, the protagonist who was Andrea Santiago was not just a fictional character but she can be anyone who
has taken the journey and fought challenges that have come along, not all struggles can end up smoothly, but rather it taught us how to learn from it.
Radio host: Very well said. I know what you mean about your main character, I also read a rumour saying that you based it off your best friend's life. It was good to hear that Andrea Santiago is just anyone of us, no one is cruel enough and no one should point a finger without knowing the whole story. Nobody's perfect. Now, before we continue on, a lot of my listeners were your new fans and wanted to know a thing or two behind your pen name Scarlet Love. Tell us something about it.
Janna: I love red. It was one of those very ordinary colours but it never goes out of style. It represents impulsiveness, danger, warning and most of all it represents love. It is a bit contradictory if I must say. It was like, you know the pain but you still go on. It's kind of being a masochist. But then we are all bound in the spell of love. Before, I was a nobody's girl... To give love and be surprised by what love can do in our daily life... You know it will hurt, you know it is dangerous but you still go and give it a try. So, basically, it was like my pen name is a sort of warning.
Radio host: (natawa). Wow. I don't know, for a bit I thought you will go on being serious on me, I was taken aback for a sec, you got me there, huh.

Radio host: Well, I see. So, moving forward. The main message of your book is not to dwell too much on regret and focus on what will make you happy. So, tell me, for you, what is Happiness?
Janna: For me, Happiness is like knowing how to smile every day. Life is hard, but you can't just stop midway, they always say that you need to live life to the fullest. Happiness is being able to give and appreciate your life every single day. Learning to love yourself and your flaws is happiness itself. If you are contented then you're happy.
Radio host: True enough, being a mother and a writer at the same time, does it make your life a bit harder now that you are famous.?
Janna: No. It is still the same. I'm still the proud momma who watched them grow and take time to write when I find some time in the evening after I put them to sleep.
Radio host: I'm glad you don't take it too much that you are now famous and you easily brag about that. You are still humble.
Janna: Thanks. Thanks.
Radio host: Let's go back to your book. The fact that your book is really fun to read. It has the element of surprise, it was not like a typical story with a twist and turn, neither a cheesy and melodramatic plot. I've read it twice now.
Janna: Wow. Well, I'm just like you with reading books. If it caught my attention I won't move on to another book, I will savour that feeling first and then wait for it to fade a little. I think there's something nostalgic whenever we reach the last page...

Radio host: It has a very satisfying ending. Not all tragic love ends up unbearable and yours was one of those few, brilliant stories. It's so hypnotic and so dream-like yet it stuck to reality.
Janna: You know how much I love the truth about life that everything's not easy and you needed redemption from hate, vanity and all worldly kinds of stuff. Honestly, I experienced all of that. But at the end of the day, the bottom line is we know we are wrong and we asked for forgiveness.
Radio host: Ah... That was great to hear from you. Your novel taught us to learn how to accept things the way they are, that whatever you do there are consequences later on. Now, let's talk about the reviews of your book. Some of our readers compare it to Nicholas Sparks' type of novel. What do you say?
Janna: (tumikhim). Looks like I got a lot of explaining to do. I won't blame my readers if they thought that way. But believe me, it does not have any similarity. Nicholas Sparks writes a tear-jerker story. Mine tackles the consciousness of a human being who lived her life out of selfishness but find redemption at the end. And that's all that matters to her. It was not dramatic, I don't like dramatic stories...
Radio host: What was your initial reaction when after one year that you released your book it became phenomenal?
Janna: I heard my book was doing good abroad, but I never thought it will be this good, to be honest, I was not shocked. Let me tell you a story. There's this good friend of mine, her name is Sunny. And she's about to get married this weekend to my editor. Hello, editor, he's listening right now.
Radio host: Oh, wow. Good evening sir. What is your editor's name
Janna: Mark John Ignacio.

Janna: Last, last month she went on a vacation in Singapore. She visited a bookstore and saw my book, she then later called me and told me this. I'm not shocked because the transition from books being sold outside the country is regularly reported to me by my editor, the sales and whatnot. So, I'm well informed. It's just that the media made a big fuss about it.

Janna: Sunny told me that everybody needs the inspiration to continue living. That's why she loved my book. As simple as that. And though it's not what everyone expects on the end they still like how it

Having said that, I hope that I'm still able to capture the true meaning of true love and happiness. When someone let go of the past and look ahead one day, he/she will realize; the world is still beautiful. Dreams are like a sandcastle even if you know that it will be ruined by waves you still try to give your best shot and create your own beautiful so-called fantasies. Who cares if it was done for a long time but ruined in just a second? At least, you enjoyed the time creating it. We only live once, let's just enjoy the most out of it.

I'm a little bit shocked to see some of you put this empty book on your library!

Let me tell you an awkward story. This was a deleted version of my other book (Shadow Princess) that I decided to reupload because of some issues but then deleted it because some readers asked me to. I tried to completely delete it but damn inkstone doesn't allow any permanent deletion unless the book has copyright issues. So yeah, I just deleted the uploaded chappy and then named the book 'deleted' with a black cover. 

But then I felt bad. I felt it was weird to have a title: 'deleted' book in my author's profile. I wanted my profile cute... (weird me!!!)

So, to make my profile beautiful, I used the present picture from my pc that my younger sister downloaded because she thinks its moe~ (me too), and then used the random title "Don't Bully Me, Wife!" for this book.

So yeah, to be honest, this was not supposed to be a book, but just a whimsical action!!!
 
But then I noticed, everyday you guys either add or remove this from your library. Maybe because of Curiosity/excitement/disappointment! IDK. But still, I am sorry.  (〒﹏〒)

That's why lately I've been thinking that I'd give this a try since you guys are expecting. (Thank you very much for showing your love)

So now, tell me guys, what kind of story do you expect from the synopsis? (Oops, I forgot... There is not even any synopsis yet! Seriously guys??? What's wrong with you!)

Anyway, back to the point, what kind of story do you prefer? I am asking because truthfully, I want to write this story based on your preference (Yeah it's my first experimental project. I want to write something that my readers, I mean you, always wanted to read.)

So guys tell me what kind of character do you choose?

-A Handsome/beautiful CEO?
-Cold/Arrogant/Loving character?
-Everyday romance (No CEO)
-Fluffy love story?
-Wife bullying husband?
-Abusive character? (Though I hate it a lot)
-Reincarnation?
-Showbiz or something like that?
-Or should I write something that'll bash all CEO novels (fufufu)
-Or anything else???
-Tell me anything you like. I'll appreciate/considerate/think which most of you choose. You can be even specific. :D
