As soon as you step out of your house, you are bound by the chains we call 'Social Acceptability'.

While this is true, whenever my family enters our house all the restraints are off.

A weekly toy gun war? That's only one of the things we do.

You never know what can happen once my family gets in the same room together, and that's why we love it.

*2nd day of the week*

Lexilia woke her husband with a gleeful smile plastered on her angelic face.

"Loveee! Wake up! Let's go to the amusement park!" she yelled happily, excitement filled her voice.

"Gimme five minutes" Clifford said with a husky voice.

"No more five minutes! Get up and quit being a lazy bone" she retorted.

"Okay, just let me take a bath" he said groggily as he rubbed his drowsy eyes. He's been up all night for he is worried at her for an unknown reason.

He then stood up and walk towards the bathroom like a drunkard.

"Love, I love you" he heard her say even before he could close the bathroom door, and believe me he felt mice racing on his chest.

"Kyaaaaaa~ Love! Let's ride the roller coaster!" Lexilia yelled once they're already at the amusement park. She was pointing to the said ride like a child.

"You know I can't stand that thing right? Or have you forgotten?" he asked as he looked at her quite offended that she actually forgot.

"R-Right! Sorry! I forgot" she said looking at her left but then she looked at him again in just mere seconds with glistening eyes.

"What?" he asked. When she looked at him like that he knew that she'll ask something.

"Just go get that Hello Kitty for me" she said pointing to the place she just looked up to.

Following her pointing fingers, he saw a hello Kitty stall not so far to them.

"But you have like millions of that in our house! And I swear our house looks like a Hello Kitty museum or Hello Kitty shop!" Clifford cried unbelievably.

"I... just wanted some remembrance for the day " She said before sighing deeply "Fine, if you don't want to then lets just go" she said, smiling bitterly though she really wanted the said stuffed toy so badly.

Taking one last glance to the Hello Kitty, she sighs once more before turning her back off it.

"Lets go" he said as he grabbed her wrist and drags her to the opposite way she's been trailing to.

"But Cliff ---"

"Don't you want it or not?" he asked that made her smile.

"I do want it" she said happily and dragged him.

"How much is that kitty cat?" he asked the lady in the stall.

"First of all, it's Hello Kitty, and second Hello Kitty is not a cat ---"

"Whatever"

"And lastly, it's not for sale" the lady said.

"What?! Then why bother display it if it's not for sale?" he retorted.

"Well that's because you need to win it by taking those cans out by throwing balls" she said "And three balls cost a hundred jewels" she continued.

"Okay gimme the three balls" he said.

"Go for it Love! You can do it!" Lexilia cheered for her husband.

When he threw the first two balls, he didn't get luck to succeed. But on his last ball, he aimed for the bottle that made him manage to knock them all.

"Congratulations sir, here is your Hello Kitty" said the lady and handed the stuffed toy to him which he handed to his lovely wife.

"Thank you Love" she said as she hugged the Hello Kitty.

"Just to make you Happy" he said messing her jet black locks while his wife just blush.

"Aww, such a cute couple, say when is the wedding?" the lady asked.

"Actually, we're already married to each other. About five years now" Lexilia said smiling brightly though her eyes looked clouded.

"Oh my… Really?"

"Yep~ Goodbye we should probably go" she said as he dragged the brunette to the Ferris wheel's way.

When they we're already inside at the said ride, it stopped right exactly when they were on top.

"I-I'm scared" Lexilia muttered in fear.

"You wanted to ride this right?" he said "Come here and I'll make you feel safe" he said as pull her into a tight hug. A minute later he heard a faint sob near his chest.

"O-Oh? W-Why are you crying all of a sudden?" he asked rubbing her back.

"Well isn't it w-wonderful? We are here, in this amusement park again, just like the old times. And this was the place where we held our first date" she said.

"The reason why I really love Hello Kitty was because that's the first gift you've ever gave me on our first date. And right here, exactly in this Ferris wheel, we officially became together" she said while sobbing.

Yes, he does remember all of those memories. But what makes him wonder is that why is she telling this to him? Does she really treasure all of it?

"Oh! The Ferris wheel is taking us down again. Let's go home after this. I'm tired" Lexilia said hugging the Hello Kitty tightly.

When they were already at the rest house, they just lie in bed, no one's talking. They were contented to look at the ceiling and lie to each other's side comfortably.

"Cliff..." Lexilia called as she yawn then hugged him and bury her head on his neck.

"Hmm?"

"I'm sorry"

Si Zhengting was driving and, when he heard this, his fingers tightened and his expression soured. Still, he eventually nodded his head. "Let me bring you to take a look at something first." 
Take a look at something?
Zhuang Nainai was instantly curious. What was Si Zhengting going to bring her to see?
Si Zhengting was a man of few words and, coupled with the fact that Zhuang Nainai presently didn't know what to say to him, the car remained quiet the whole time. It was not until the car had swerved into the Si residence that Zhuang Nainai stretched out her hand to grab hold of Si Zhengting's wrist, perplexed. "Si Zhengting…"
Why were they back at the Si residence?
He wasn't trying to play tricks, was he?
Was he trying to play his "domineering and overbearing CEO" card again?
Just as Zhuang Nainai was beginning to let her imagination run wild, she heard him say, "The thing I want to show you is in the house."
It was only then that Zhuang Nainai let go.
Both of them got out of the car, and Si Zhengting brought her up to the second floor.
This time, they didn't go into Si Zhengting's study room. Instead, they went toward a room with permanently closed doors. 
When the door opened, Zhuang Nainai realized that it was a storeroom. 
The sun was shining brightly into the room. The shelves were orderly, and the paraphernalia were all clean and neat — it was evident that the room was regularly cleaned.
But the housekeeper and the butler were usually denied access to the second floor. So, did that mean… Si Zhengting was the one who did all the cleaning by himself?
Could it be that… Si Zhengting was bringing her to see his "gold mine"?
Zhuang Nainai curled her lips at the thought. 
She took a step forward but suddenly stopped in her footsteps as she spotted an eye-catching Hello Kitty toy sitting on one of the shelves. It was pink, a little old, and had obviously been washed countless times. Even the little pink skirt on the toy had been crookedly mended. 
This toy…
Zhuang Nainai's eyes narrowed. This was her toy!
It was her birthday present from her mother on her 10th birthday. 
She had liked Snow White and lots of other toys, but she had resisted the temptation to buy them as she knew how poor her family was. 
When she was seven, her mother had gotten a bonus. In her excitement, her mother had wanted to buy her a cake, but she had disagreed because of how the cake would be gone within a few bites.
Her mother had then decided to buy her a toy and had asked her to take her pick.
Out of all the toys that she liked, she had chosen the one she liked the most.
In the end, it was this Hello Kitty that she had chosen — such was the importance of the toy to her. 
When she had grown up and had gone to middle school and high school, she had chosen not to abandon the toy. Instead, the toy became an irreplaceable part of her life.
Because it had been this toy that had accompanied her throughout her childhood.
Every night, she had to hug her Hello Kitty to sleep.
But… what was this toy doing in the hands of Si Zhengting?
Zhuang Nainai curled her lips once more.
That was in the third year of high school, when Si Zhengting had finally accepted her romantic advances. After they had gotten together, she had studied hard in order to be able to get into the same university as him, and then…
And then, very naturally, she had forgotten about his birthday.
She vividly recalled how he had been so happy on that day and how he had repeatedly stared at her. 
Then, seeing how she was still silent, he had asked her over and over again if she had forgotten something or another. 


He's the heir of the Imperial Group, ruthless and calculating. Yet, he dotes on his wife so much. 

"Hubby, I'm thinking of getting a pet. What do you think is good?"

Luke looked at the cashier, "I will be paying for the items that are left in the cart. I want to get a gift for my little sister." 
"Tiana loves chicken strips and french fries. Mommy I would like to eat that for lunch. Be safe Auntie!" She stood by Kitty and watched as Cindy walked away. "more treats for Tiana, Big brother is amazing."
"No worries. So the total for everything is $1254.90." The poor cashier was shocked at the total. 
"I will be paying using my credit card." Kitty pulled out Leo's credit card and watched the cashier swipe the card.
Leo got a notification asking if it was him that had made the purchase. He pulled out his phone and hit the accept button. "Okay, let's go to the third place. There are only so many hours left in the day. So we need to finish as fast as we can." 
"A text from Kitty?" Carlos asks.
Ketan looked at Leo and smiled, "chaos in the store I bet that he needed to confirm that he was the one spening the amount of money for a big purchase. Since this place was not as interesting as we expected, let's head to the next place." Ketan walked up to everyone and ported them to the final place. "This is the last location for the day."
"It was at a toy store I am sure that they bought enough to keep the little girl entertained. I think that the girl will not want to leave. That is alright with me. I will keep her safe or at least to the best of my ability. Anyways it is not important, there is a heavy presence in the air. I think there may be witches and warlocks here. Do be careful you three, as I do not know what powers they may have but I would like to save the ones that I can, that is, if it is at all possible." Leo walked up to the house.
"STOP! You should not be here!" a booming male voice came out. 
"How about you come out and talk to me face to face. I would prefer to talk rather than fight. I was just hoping that we could talk." Leo stood in front of his group. 
"..." The warlock was speechless. He came out of the house and saw Leo. "What can I help you with, Sir?"
Leo smiled and looked at the guy. "Thank you for coming out and chatting with me. Are you a captive here and is there anything that I can do to help you? I do not want there to be any harm that comes to you and your family. I am here because the hunter that owns this place is being stripped of his hunter rights. So now is the best time to come to my side. I will not force you to decide but I am on the side of the Advocate. The only reason that vampire is chained up is because he tried to attack me. I am going to be taking him back to his creator." 
"You know the Advocate?! Thank goodness. We are not here because we want to be. I need a witch that is more powerful to come here and free us. I do not want my people to die. If we leave the house then we would leave but there is something binding us to the house. My name is Elio." Elio bows.
"I will call my fiance and see if she will be able to help you." Leo took out his phone and called Kitty. 
Kitty picked up her phone and waited as Luke paid for the items. "Hello, Darling. What can I help you with?"
"I'm going to put you on speakerphone. I need you to hear what is being said, Katherine." Leo looked at his phone and put it on speakerphone. 
"Hello, my name is Elio. I am the head of the Midnight Sun Clan. There are some things that I can not say out loud as I would not survive and my people need me." He bowed towards the phone and waited for a reply.
"The Midnight Sun Clan was supposed to meet with me eleven years ago. The reason you can not speak this out is because there will be grave consequences if you do. I understand. It is not one that was on the side of good that has trapped you. I will have to come to you but now is not a good time for me. Treat my spouse and company well. In about an hour I will come to you guys. I will have dinner and Luke will have to protect Tiana on the trip home." Kitty frowned and closed her eyes. 
"Thank you, Thank you. I deeply regret that we did not meet when we were supposed to. I will take good care of the company and await your arrival." Elio bowed to the phone.
Leo took the phone off speakerphone. "I will see you in an hour be safe and do not worry. I will be here." He hung up the call and quickly typed. ~I hope that this is not a trap.~
Kitty hung up her phone and looked at the text. ~Darling, there is something that you do not know. That warlock was trying to run away from an evil and corrupt warlock. I was going to help that clan get away but that did not happen. I searched for him and could not find him. I will save that clan this time. Just be careful, the actually bad guy might still be around.~ Kitty took Tiana's hand. "You will get that for dinner."
"Yay!! Tiana is so happy." She jumped up and down. 
"You're total is $8.65." The cashier told Luke. 
Luke pulled out his debit card and paid for the items. "Thank you for all your hard work. Sorry about all the items. I hope you have a nice relaxing day." Luke pushed the cart to the car.

It took Baiyi some time to recount his ordeal to the Warrior Walker, after which he explained why he needed the help of the ladies. 
To make surreal one's experience of reality, the Pseudo-Descent technique made the spirit of its user — the Voidwalkers, in this case, whose spirits were in the Void — to hibernate. However, Baiyi could not summon those that had pseudo-descended through the Void, as the technique is ended the instant its user wakes up from their hibernation. This was the reason why before Voidwalker meetings, Baiyi would need to summon those that had pseudo-descended to his chalet, rather than holding the meeting in the Void.
The only exception to these were Baiyi's women: the Fairy Walker, the Warrior Walker, and the Assassin Walker. Since all three took turns using the Divine Leathersuit to enter the real world, neither of them were inactive in the Void. Thus, Baiyi assigned his tasks to Lady Assassin Walker. 
"I'm not concerned. The only thing I care about is you getting home," the Warrior Walker said softly. "Where's our Mia?"
As the first Voidwalker to be mentally prepared to be a mother, the Warrior Walker had sharp parental instincts. This was the reason why she was the first Voidwalker to ask after Mia. 
"I don't know. I am unable to tell if she returned to the future with me or was left behind in the past. I do, however, think the second guess is more likely. If Mia had returned with me, she would have come running to me, already," Baiyi replied. From what Baiyi could see from between Aya's breasts, he could tell that the dragon lady was almost done with the housekeeping. If Mia was back in the future, too, it would have taken her almost no time to find him. 
"Oh. I see," the Warrior Walker replied slowly, after which she asked, "The body you are in, where is it now?" 
"Eh-hem! Well, its current location is not important; yours is. Where are you now?" Baiyi asked, quickly changing the topic of conversation. 
"Don't know."
"What do you mean by you don't know?!" The other Voidwalkers, who were listening in on the conversation, gasped audibly. 
"I have paid very little mid to where I've been and what I've been doing the past few days. I've spent more time here, not caring where my feet led me," the Warrior Walker replied, with a sullen expression on her face. "I can't put into words how happy I am that you have returned. I thought you had abandoned me." 
'Hold up. Why do you talk like a sad mistress that was almost abandoned?' Baiyi sighed helplessly. 
Suddenly, Baiyi's plush toy body in the real world was rocked by a wave of new sensations, so his consciousness left the Void. He quickly obscured what the other Voidwalkers could see through his eyes; this way, they would not know where the plush toy really was. 
The plush toy blinked, and Baiyi realized that his plush toy body was no longer between Aya's breasts; it was now atop her palm. Baiyi did his best to turn his head slightly, and he saw Aya crying. She was saying something, but Baiyi could not hear what it was. The sight, however, made his heart lurch. 
Before Baiyi could dwell on his sadness, the world around him began to spin really fast, as though he was in a whirlpool. When the spinning stopped and Baiyi regained his sight, the plush toy was no longer with Aya; it was now in Lady Assassin Walker's hands. 
The Assassin Walker grinned at the plush toy and kissed it all over. Then, she rubbed the plush toy against her cheeks for some time whilst saying something to Aya, who was watching with wide eyes. 
Baiyi could read her lips, though. "You man-stealing dragon! You thought you could get your hands on my man when I wasn't looking, didn't ya?"
Aya raised an eyebrow at that, wondering if she was in the presence of a lunatic. 
Things proceeded as Baiyi had hoped. With the kitty plush toy in her arms, Lady Assassin Walker rushed to the other Voidwalkers at Da Xue and informed them of a meeting, which would be held in Baiyi's house. At her request, the Archmage slit the plush toy open and cast speech and hearing spells into it. 
"Hello? Can you hear me?" The Archmage hollered, swinging the plush toy around wildly. 
"Yes! I hear you, Old Geezer! Put me down, or I'm going to be sick!"
"Heh. That's him, alright. Is it just me, or do you only regress? Look at you! You're a little girl's toy!" The Archmage teased, cackling in schadenfreude as he tossed the plushie onto a table. 
'You have no right to laugh about this, old man! This was your suggestion! Well, the version of you in the past,' Baiyi grumbled in his mind. 
"Sir, is that really you?" Tisdale hurried over with an expression of worry. "Have you been in serious trouble? Where is Mia?"
Zakum the fox stood on its hind legs to see over the table, after which it licked the kitty plush toy. 
Not everyone expressed worry, though. Many seemed to be laughing. "It turns out that karma's a tougher b**ch than our admin! You got what you deserved! Now, let's see you how you'll act all high and mighty, little cat. I'm going to get you back for everything you've done to —"
Before the Astrologer Walker could complete his taunt, his suit of armor collapsed. In the Void, the Astrologer Walker cried out, "N-no! Please forgive me! I now remember how mighty your power is; I swear! I—"
The Astrologer Walker's frantic plea was abruptly cut off. Baiyi had cast him out of the protected area of the Void, into the hellish expanse of the real Void. 
"Hmph! Just because I am forced to inhabit this weak, but cute, plushie does not mean that I cannot discipline you lot! Let this be a reminder that I'm still —"
The talking plush toy was unceremoniously picked up by Attie and hugged really tightly. As Attie rubbed the plush toy against her cheeks, she cooed, "Oh, Master... I mean, Meowster! You're so adorable! Please, stay like this forever?" Mini Jawflower, who was atop Attie's head, could tell that its master was within the plush toy, and it jumped down to Attie's arms to get in on the cuddle action. 
Although Baiyi still ruled the Voidwalkers, he could not stop those in the real world from doing whatever they wanted! This was something he knew, as well. 
The commotion went on for several minutes, after which everyone simmered down. Everyone sat down and waited for Baiyi to begin speaking. Since plush toys could not sit down on their own, Tisdale had to keep this one on her lap. Baiyi could see Santa and Anna staring at him with stary eyes. They looked ready to, at the first opportunity, grab the plush toy to cuddle. 
Baiyi began to think that this plush toy was not a bad body, after all. 
He knew better than to give in to the childish temptation, though. He looked around the room to ensure that everyone was ready to listen, and it looked like they were. Baiyi began to recount his ordeal to them in great detail. 
His story stunned everyone in the room, including the more conversant Voidwalkers. No one thought that it was possible to travel back to the past.
Everyone in the room was talking about Baiyi's time travel. Baiyi, the time-traveler, did not join in on the conversation; instead, he looked back at Tisdale, who was wearing a sullen expression, to get an update of things at Da Xue. 
Baiyi was pleased to learn that everything at Da Xue had gone smoothly in his absence. The graduation ceremony and the student enrolment He was pleased to know that everything had gone on smoothly despite his absence. The Archmage had taken over the Grand Principal role in Baiyi's absence. It was also an honor for the graduating students to receive platinum necklaces from the legendary Sage-Emperor of the Magi.
The Church did not go back on their word and left Da Xue alone. Baiyi suspected that they did not know that he, the leader of the Voidwalkers, had been away. Their attempt to summon an angel was met with major obstruction, albeit indirectly. The Sorcerers' Association banned the sale of spatial-magic materials, and this slowed down the Church's activities. 
Baiyi had never been so glad that he had riled up the Associations and the nobles over this issue instead of dismissing their usefulness altogether. If he had opted for the latter, the Church might have already summoned their heavenly host!
In Baiyi's time away, chaos did not ensue. Even the Voidwalkers had been on their best behaviors. There were no reports of Da Xue's students getting harassed by their teachers. Thus, no student ended up dismembered or worse, got pregnant. 
Sometime later, Baiyi said, "You all have no idea how happy I am to see you all. Wait... Nota, what's up with that hair?!"
Earlier, when Nota joined the others to welcome Baiyi, she had looked the same as she always did, save for a large hat on her head. Later on, she removed her hat. 
When Baiyi looked over, he spotted a change. Whilst most of her hair was still a lustrous aqua-blue, a few locks of hair on her forehead and behind her ears were now deep red. 
Had Baiyi's worst nightmare come to pass? Did Nota do it when he was away? 
Baiyi was about to rephrase his question, when Nota, whose cheeks had turned fiery red, replied, "This? This is just, um, a h-h-hairstyle that Vidomina suggested. I-I know you don't l-like it, Mentor, but I really, um, w-wanted to try it out…"
She was just interested in Earth's hair-dying styles, after all!
Overcome with relief, Baiyi sighed and replied a little too loudly, "You're already beautiful enough. Don't ever try to look like a punk again! Gosh, you almost gave me the mother of all heart attacks!"
As Baiyi talked, he quickly inspected Nota's body to ensure that the worst did not really happen. 
"Sir, what about Mia?" Tisdale suddenly asked, with an expression of worry. Her little sister did not come back with him. Baiyi checked his psychic link with Mia, but he could not tell where she was. Their connection was not yet broken; this was a sign that Mia, his summoner, was still alright. 
Baiyi could not help but wonder if Mia, Emperor, and time in the past were still frozen in place. Or, perhaps, time in the past had resumed its normal flow, and Mia was playing with her doting grandfather. 
"Attie, please contact the War God now. There are important things I must discuss with him," Baiyi ordered. "Dale, take me to my lab. I need my original body."

However, Baiyi had to use the techniques and abilities the other souls had taught him throughout the years, and together with his own extensive knowledge of anime and game tropes from his shady and dangerous past as an otaku, to face the biggest challenge of them all: training the clumsy young girl he was forced to partner up with… into a competent sorcerer!

Seth scared and acting frantic doesn't know what to do. He can't go home that'll be the first place they would look. Seth gets a idea and decides to hide at a place no one would know about.

Officer Orso breaks Kitty's front down and rushes into the house.

OFFICER ORSO

I'm coming in!

Down in the basement Kitty comes to from being knocked out.

KITTY(KATE)

Help down here!

Orso rushes down the steps to the basement. He finds Kitty getting up rubbing her head and sees Ashley lying there bleeding everywhere.

OFFICER ORSO

What happened?

KITTY(KATE)

Seth came by asking for me to hide him. He had told me what he had done. He claimed it was a accident. Then Ashley got scared and threatened to turn him in if he didn't. Seth said no, so she started to run and get help. He panicked and fire the gun at her.

OFFICER ORSO

Okay calm down it'll be okay. Did he say where he was going?

KITTY(KATE)

No...I don't know he knocked me out before he left. I don't even know if this is all real or If I'm dreaming.

OFFICER ORSO

Alright I'll put a search out for him.

Orso gets on the radio.

OFFICER ORSO

Miller! Call a APB on the Seth I want him found.

OFFICER MILLER

Yes sir right away.

OFFICER MILLER

I need all units to be on the look out for a Seth Silverton. He is know to be armed and dangerous.

Officer Orso runs over to Ashley and checks her pulse.

OFFICER ORSO

There's a pulse she's still alive. The bullet went in and out the other side. It didn't seem to hit anything vital. She should be alright.

KITTY(KATE)

Oh my god, thank god she's going to make it.

OFFICER ORSO

Miller I need a ambulance to my position.

OFFICER MILLER

Right away sir.

A few minutes later sirens blare in the distance. Moments later the E.M.Ts are down in the basement working on Ashley.

EMT

Ma'am I Need to check your head.

KITTY(KATE)

Oh okay, but I'm okay though.

EMT

It's just routine there could be internal damage.

KITTY(KATE)

Okay.

Seth pulls up to a cabin in the woods next to a lake.

SETH

It's been years since I've been here not since dad past away. No one know about this place it was are special spot to fish and camp.

Seth walks into the cabin. He see old pictures hanging and can almost picture his dawn sitting right on his chair. Seth walks over to the couch and sits down. He grabs the remote on the table in front of him and turns the tv on.

TV REPORTER

Hello I'm standing here in front of the residence where a young girl has been shot and another girl hit in her head. I heard they should both make a recovery from the brutal attack. The Young man said to have done this is name Seth Silverton. He is said to be armed and dangerous.

Seth surprised on how fast this is unfolding is scared of what is to come.

Officer Orso decides to drive to Seth's house to talk to his mother.

Officer Orso pulls up to the Silverton residents. He gets out of his car and walks to the front door and knocks. Mrs.Silverton answers the door.

SETHS MOM

Oh hello officer.

OFFICER ORSO

Ma'am I've got bad news. Your son is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder. I need you to cooperate with me and to tell me where your son could be.

SETHS MOM

Oh dear, I don't know what to think. This can't be true. How can he be the one that did this?

OFFICER ORSO

There is a witness that has identified him.

SETHS MOM

Oh dear god, I don't know where he could be at. He doesn't have many friends to turn to. We don't have much family most aren't even in the state.

OFFICER ORSO

Is there any place he like to go to be by himself?

SETHS MOM

Not that I know of.

OFFICER ORSO

Is there any places that you as a family would go for vacations?

SETHS MOM

No we didn't really do vacations much. But there was one place that he and his father would go to for bonding trips. It's up in the mountains. It's called lake Washo.

OFFICER ORSO

Okay thanks I'll be in touch.

Officer Orso heads to his car. He calls the station to have someone get him to location of lake Washo.

Officer Orso heads to lake Washo to find Seth. It takes a while to get there it's about a two hour drive.

Back in town Kitty heads to Seth's house.

Kitty walks up to the door and knocks.

SETHS MOM

One minute please.

Seth's mom hurried to the door.

SETHS MOM

Hello, who are you?

KITTY(KATE)

I'm Kitty, Seth's friend or I was I don't know today has been crazy.

SETHS MOM

Oh Seth has told me all about you come in.

KITTY(KATE)

No ma'am I can't. I need to find Seth, I want to talk him down I think he'll listen to me.

I told the officer that came by that he could be at lake Washo.

KITTY(KATE)

Okay great I know where that is, thanks see you later.

Kitty heads to her car and makes her way to the lake.

Officer Orso made it to the lake. He sees a lonely cabin with light coming from the windows in the distance. The sun setting behind the cabin. He heads to the door and bangs on it.

OFFICER ORSO

Seth opens up I know you're in there.

.....there's no answer.

OFFICER ORSO

Seth if you give up now I can make this easier on you.

.....there's no answer again.

OFFICER ORSO

Okay you have to the count of three or I'll kick the door in and take you in with any force I need.

A shadow comes from behind Officer Orso.

SETH

Seth Wales Orso in the back of the head with a wooden bat knocking him out.

Seth quickly pulls him into the cabin. He gets some rope and ties him to a chair. A few moments later Officer Orso begins to awake.

OFFICER ORSO

My head.

SETH

Hello Officer.

OFFICER ORSO

Seth you need to untie me. You have to give up, you're making worse on yourself.

SETH

You see I can't I just can't it's gone to far. There's no turning back from here.

OFFICER ORSO

The law will be easier on you if you give yourself up.

SETH

Do you think I'm stupid? I know your mind games I'm not falling for it.

OFFICER ORSO

It's not mind games Seth, you need help you aren't well. I know all the kids bullied you. I know that you lost your dad at a young age. I can help you find the help to fix your pain.

SETH

I...I'm sor...

From behind Kitty knocks out Seth with the bat used to knock out Officer Orso.

OFFICER ORSO

Kitty you shouldn't be here you could've gotten hurt. Seth isn't well.

KITTY(KATE)

I thought I could've talked him down but I was to late. I had to do it to save him and you if he would have killed you, there wouldn't have been any chance for him they would've just gave him the death penalty. I couldn't let that happen to a friend.

OFFICER ORSO

you're a good friend, even after the short time you have know him you were willing to risk your life.

Kitty walks over to untie Officer Orso.

OFFICER ORSO

We got to go, untie me quickly so I can cuff him before he wakes up.

Officer Orso cuffs Seth and gets him to his car and puts him in the back seat. Kitty and Orso get in their cars and head back to town.

Officer Orso made it back to the police station with Seth. Seth begins to awake in the back seat.

SETH

What happened? Who hit me?

OFFICER ORSO

That doesn't matter.

Officer Orso gets out and opens Seth's door. He helps him out of the car.

OFFICER ORSO

Let's go kid.

Officer Orso walks him into the station and takes him to a holding cell.

OFFICER ORSO

Sit in here for a bit while I make some calls.

The cell door closes hard with a loud clang. Seth looks down in the darkness.

SETH

You'll all regret this one day you'll see.

My Demon [Ch. 33]

 

It's been three weeks matapos nung araw na na-injure yung kaliwang braso ni Demon. So far, so good. Swerte niya dahil hindi masyadong napuruhan ang braso niya kaya mabilis gumaling. Yung card, napapalitan ko na ng Melody. Ang cute cute! Yung kaibigan ni Hello Kitty na color pink ang tenga (o sungay? Basta yun na yun!) Kasama ko si Demon nung pinalit yung card. Alam niya kasi kung saan naka-locate ang Sanrio Toy Parlor na yun. Hindi lang yun, bumili pa siya ng Hello Kitty at Dear Daniel keychain.

Honestly, hindi ko inaasahan na bibili siya ng ganung klaseng bagay. At mas lalong hindi ko inasahan na gagamitin niya yung Dear Daniel na keychain sa susi ng motorbike niya. Yung Hello Kitty kasi binigay niya sa'kin. With matching pananakot pa na kapag hindi ko daw ginamit, susunugin niya buhok ko. Okay, fine. Kahit di naman niya ko takutin gagamitin ko pa rin. Bukod kasi sa mala-gintong presyo, ang cute cute kaya!

About naman sa study, masaya ako lalo na ang parents niya dahil sa improvement niya. May isang beses pa nga na sinabi sa'kin ng isa sa mga katulong nila na nahuli niyang nag-aaral si Demon ng patago at ayaw ipaalam sa iba (he's so weird!), kaya nag-suggest ako na itigil na namin ang tutorial kasi nagagawa na niyang magtino sa pag-aaral. Marunong naman talaga kasi siya─loko-loko lang: hindi siniseryoso ang mga bagay na dapat ay siniseryoso lalo na ang pag-aaral─ at para na rin magkaroon siya ng mas maraming free time para magawa ang mga gusto niyang gawin na kalokohan, kasi alam kong ayun ang gusto niya. But you know what he had reacted? He beamed and yelled at me. Ang dami niyang sinabi: Tinanggap-tanggap ko pa daw ang offer ng dad niya as his tutor tapos hindi ko naman daw paninindigan, and so on. Tapos meron pang, "Kung kelan naman medyo nagtitino na ko saka mo pa ko iiwan?".

Hanep! Parang may ibang meaning yung sinabi niya. Sa dalas naming magkasama, nakakapag-open up na ko sa kanya though madalas niyang sinasangga. Kung hindi niya nga lang ako palaging inaaway, baka ituring ko na siya as my best friend. Naku, magtatampo si Angelo nito.

Ah! Oo nga pala, malapit na ang exam namin kaya nagrereview na rin kami ni Demon.

"Ikaw ba si Soyunique Sarmiento?" May limang lalaki ang lumapit sa'min ni Angelo. Nasa field kami at nagbabasa ng libro habang kumakain ng junk foods.

"Oo, sya nga." Si Angelo na ang sumagot.

Lunch Break

Naglalakad ako sa quadrangle. Iniwan ko si Ployj sa cafeteria mag-isa. Hindi rin naman ako kinakausap ng lokong yun, tapos wala pa si Soyu. Nakita ko yung mga babaeng nakakasama niya minsan sa loob ng caf pero siya at yung baklang kaibigan niya hindi. Nasaan kaya siya?

"IBALIK NIYO SABI YUNG KWINTAS EH!"

I looked where that raspy-loud voice came from, and found out that the owner of that voice is no other than Soyu's gay friend. I grinned seeing him that mad. Nasasapawan ng pagkalalaki niya ang kabaklaang taglay niya ngayon. Namumula pa ang mukha niya and his veins seemed to burst out any moment. May limang lalaki ang nakapalibot sakanya. How stupid that five guys were. Binubully lang nila ang mga taong alam nilang walang kalaban-laban sa kanila. Weak retards!

Nandito ang taong palaging kasama ni Soyu . . . so where is she anyway? Tss. Baka kasama yung kutong-lupang nagbigay sakanya ng cheap na chocolate muffins.

I was about to continue wandering until he blurted out some words that made me stop.

"Sinong pinaiyak?" sabi ng bebe kong si Keyr ng pagalit matapos magsabi ng bad words.

Kaloka naman si author. Saka ako binigyan ng POV kung kelan nasa ganito akong pangyayari. Hindi tuloy ako makapanglandi. Hmp!

"Tang*n@, si Keyr. Patay tayo nito," narinig kong bulong ng isa sa mga unggoy. Wafu na sana sila eh. Pwede ng ulamin kaso ang bad ng mga ugali. I hate pa naman sa lalaki na pumapatol sa'ming mga girls.

"Si Soyu ba, ha?! Si Soyu?!" Shetness ka, bebe ko! Naging lalaki na nga ako kanina tapos dumating ka pa na ganyan ang aura: hot and sexy. Naging binibini na naman tuloy ulit ako. Lalo siyang nagiging papable kapag galit. Salubong ang kilay at seryoso ang mukha. Ang sarap mong dakmain! Rawr!

"Ibigay mo na yung kwintas." Ano kayo ngayon? Mga natataranta.

Sa bawat hakbang ni Keyr Bebe Ko, halos madapa sila sa pag-atras. Kitang-kita sa mga mukha nila ang takot at kaba. Kanina ang tapang-tapang nila, pero ngayon akala mo kung sinong mga walang bird.

"E-eto na yung kwintas," nauutal na sabi nung hampaslupang kumuha ng kwintas ni Soyu kanina at hinagis papunta kay Keyr. Hindi naman niya sinalo, and I could read na wala siyang ibang gustong gawin right now kundi ang paslangin ang limang umaway sa'min ni Soyu. Paslangin? Exagge ko naman. Jugjugin neleng keye?

Sinugod ni Keyr ang lima bringing his dark aura. Nakakatakot pero ang hot niya talaga! Keleg pepi to the max ako here! Supaaah!

"Go, Bebe ko! Sige lang, ipagtanggol mo ang beauty ko!" cheer ko sakanya habang kumikembot.

Nakarinig ako ng "Shut the fuck up" sakanya habang ginugulpi niya ang lima. Ang galing talaga ng bebe ko! Nagagawa pa niya kong kausapin sa kalagitnaan ng pakikipagsuntukan niya. At ano daw? Shut the fuck up? Aww. Ang sweet sa'kin ng bebe ko.

Sandali lang napatumba ang lima. Hinanap ko yung kwintas kung saan bumagsak nung binato ng isa sa mga gagung wafung walang bird, pero wala na ito. Masyado kasing hot and sexy ni Keyr para siya ang mas pagtuunan ko ng pansin kaysa sa kwintas ni Soyu.

Nasaan na ba yun?

Hindi na siya nagsalita at dali-daling naglakad. Nawala na rin siguro sa isip niya yung kwintas ni Soyu.

Huminto si Keyr sa mabilis na paglalakad. Nagtaka ako kaya tumingin ako sa gwapo niyang mukha. Kung masama ang aura niya kanina, mas masama ang aura niya ngayon. Anaka ng pepi! Pasama ng pasama ang aura niya pero pa-yummy rin siya ng pa-yummy!

Nung tumingin ako kung saan siya nakatingin, nadurog ang precious heart ko. Nakatingin siya sa bleacher kung saan nakaupo si Soyu at kayakap si Johan na nakatayo sa harapan niya. Hindi ko makita ang itsura ng sistar ko kasi nakaharap ang likod niya sa'min. Maya-maya, lumayo si Soyu at may sinuot si Johan sa leeg nito. Yung kwintas! Kaya pala hindi ko na nahanap kasi nakuha na ni Johan. In fairness, hindi ko siya napansin kanina.

At eto pa, pinunasan ni Johan ang luha ni Soyu gamit ang panyo niya.

Awtsu! Dumadamoves si Sistar Soyu. Umi-iskor na naman sa crush niya. Pero ang kinadudurog talaga ng puso ko ay yung mukha ni Keyr na nagseselos. Ajuju! Pinagpalit na ba niya ko kay Soyu? Hindi na ba ako ang nasa heart niya at si Soyu na?

Oh well, dahil mas maganda ako sa bestfriend ko magpaparaya nalang ako. Supah pretty ko naman and I am beautifully sure na marami pa ang papable na maghahabol sa'kin. Ipapaubaya ko na sa mahal kong bestfriend itong adonis na nakatayo sa gilid ko at kumukuyom ang palad.

After spending so many hours playing games in the arcade, it's already late. There's no need to get upset if they don't win anything.
But Aaron doesn't seem to think so. He made Katrina a promise to catch the toy, and he can't go back on his word.
For one thing, he doesn't want to break his promise to her. For another, seeing the young couple's success drives Aaron to want to win the toy, Katrina chose even more.
"Wait here, I'll be right back!" With that, Aaron whirls around and strides towards the customer service counter.
The sight of the murderous expression on his face makes Katrina feel a spasm of anxiety. With Aaron's entitled personality, she is worried he will get into trouble with the arcade staff. She doesn't know if he will find fault with staff and accuse the clip doll machine of cheating him somehow after spending so much time and money.
But observing Aaron from her spot, it doesn't seem that he is having an altercation with the staff. After a few minutes, Aaron comes back with another pack of game tokens.
Katrina is dumbstruck by his extravagance and persistence.
He had already bought a lot of tokens the first time around. He can't possibly be planning to use all these tokens to win a single plush toy when buying one online would cost a lot cheaper, can he? The money he had already spent on the game plus the money he just exchanged can be used to buy all the toys inside the machine.
Is he an idiot? Katrina thinks in disbelief. Aaron is too capricious and has no sense of practicality.
Though the young couple doesn't know how much money Aaron spent on buying tokens to keep playing the game, they notice that he has been struggling to catch a toy for a long time.
They come over, and the boy offers kindly, "It takes some skill to catch one, I can help you catch it."
The couple has limited funds. They had already spent quite a sum of money on the machine. After winning several toys, there is no need for them to spend any more.
But the boy is feeling lucky and wants to keep playing.
He offers to help Aaron win the toy. Since Aaron fails to catch it after a long time, he wants to help him. In the process, he will also be able to continue playing the game. To him, this is the best solution for everyone.
All the boy wants to do is to keep playing the game; he is not after the tokens or toys. They can have everything. He is offering to help Aaron out of kindness.

Aaron ignores the couple and resumes struggling with the clip doll machine, continuously inserting tokens and pushing buttons.

Ten minutes later, Aaron finally manages to grab the Baymax toy.
Katrina had already resigned herself to a night of watching Aaron's futile attempts at winning the doll when he suddenly shoves the Baymax into her arms. She accepts the toy with a stunned look on her face.

Special Note: If you are looking for a sweet contemporary-romance genre, this novel doesn't have that kind of plot. Most plots of my novel talk about mystery, suspense, and a slice of life. Often FL starts a slow pace of development, from weak to strong.

The next day, early afternoon…
They approached the first smaller base and Sarah and Aiden got two palm-sized drones out of their backpacks and one device which allows them remote control via Eve-lens. Here, in the forest, they don't have internet access, so they can't rely on Eve to navigate drones. Drones themselves can execute some simple actions, but they need someone to tell them which way to go.
Sarah and Aiden controlled one drone each, to go and scout the base. Their main goal is to confirm the number of people present and if they have any weapons. Based on that they can devise a plan.
Master Hollow, Bo, Souta, and Wind were watching in disbelief as the small toy-like things (aka drones) silently went up in the air and disappeared.
"It's camouflage…", Haru explained in a whisper. "They have cameras and Sarah and Aiden can see what they see. Think of them as motorized scouting units."
"How can they see what those things can?", Master Hollow was curious.
"They have lenses in their eyes."
About five minutes later, Sarah informed others: "Three men, each has a gun. There are no animals present."
Aiden looked at Master Hollow. "Do you want them to get experience? Or should we take them out?"
"Can they watch this one?", Master Hollow asked.
Aiden gave a small nod before instructing to Haru and Nala: "One is behind the house. The two of you take that one. Sarah and I will take down the other two which are inside."
Haru and Nala left their backpacks and moved to the left swiftly, making a wide circle around the camp clearing, careful not to be noticed, with a goal to reach the other side of the dwelling.
Once they assumed positions, it was all done in a flash, and within a minute three tied up men were leaning against the house.
Master Hollow was pointing out some important details to Bo, Souta, and Wind while Sarah, Aiden, Haru, and Nala inspected the camp.
"There are no animals here, only cages and ropes and some tools. It seems that they are using this as storage.", Haru summarized for everyone.
Next, they went to check for the tire tracks and any traps in the surrounding area, leaving Sarah, Master Hollow, and Kitty in the camp.
"You did this many times.", Master Hollow said.
"Excuse me?", Sarah asked.
"This mission. Your seamless teamwork tells me you did this many times.", he clarified.
Sarah didn't deny it. "Life in our family is not boring. But we don't attack if we are not provoked first."
"They provoked you by killing her mother?", Master Hollow said while pointing at Kitty who was staring at three tied up men and letting out low growls. She knows that they are enemies.
"No one gets to bully us or our family members. Kitty is family.", Sarah responded. 
"The way they treat animals for their gain is making me sick. When we found Kitty, she was trapped under her mother who was shot. And there were two other animals. They were shot and left in the locked cages and we presume that it's because they could not be sold. I still don't understand why they didn't release those animals into the wild." 
"Maybe they were afraid that animals will come to get their revenge.", Master Hollow guessed.
Sarah looked at Kitty and her eyes turned gentle. "That only proves how they are smart and have feelings just how humans do. Maybe more. And they don't deserve to be caged, separated from their family, and sold like things."
Master Hollow watched Sarah who was packing drones in the backpack and he could not hold back his curiosity. "You said that you have more than fifty kids. Are all of them trained fighters like Haru and Nala?"
Sarah smiled. "Most of them. Some specialize in guns, knives, electronics, or first aid."
"Fifty skilled fighters…", he mused. "That is a small army."
Sarah's smile widened. She didn't want to say that her army is more than ten times that. And if she counts forces of the White foundation which are under Aiden's command, that number will triple.
"We teach them the skills they are interested in. Each of them is free to leave as soon as they finish their education and prove that they are self-sufficient."
Master Hollow chuckled. "Free to leave? You are reluctant to let leopard leave."
"That does not mean that I will stop her if she chooses to separate from us. She is like family, and I will miss her. It's normal to feel sadness.", Sarah explained as calmly as she could while her gaze didn't leave Kitty.
Master Hollow didn't find a fault in this logic. In a way, it explained how he felt when Haru left. And when Bo, Souta, and Wind leave it will be much harder to bear… the loneliness. He reminded himself to stay present. He has more questions for Sarah. "What will you do if kids don't want to leave?"
"We are giving them a home and they are welcome to stay as long as they wish. If they leave and return after some time, their room will wait for them. We are a family no matter what path they choose."
"Why are you doing this?"
Sarah didn't understand the question. "What?"
"Taking in kids, providing for them.", Master Hollow explained.
Sarah thought for some time before responding: "Because I can. Because they remind me what it means to be human. Aiden was in a coma for three months and those kids prevented me from drifting into madness. Without them, I would destroy everything… me included."
Master Hollow wanted to ask something else, but he stopped when he saw that the others returned.
"There is one hole that needs to be covered up, and we can leave.", Aiden said as he hoped next to Sarah.
He touched her chin and lifted her head to observe her expression. "Did something happen?", he asked with concern obvious in his voice.
Sarah smiled and shook her head. "Let's burry that hole and then we can rest before going to the next destination."
"What are we going to do with these guys?", Haru asked while gesturing to three men who are tied up next to the house.
Sarah glanced at Aiden, indicating that he should answer. Aiden didn't know what to do. Letting them go does not seem right but killing them is not right either. "Let's discuss that after we deal with the hole. Everyone can give ideas..."

After voting, they agreed to lock poachers in cages and to leave them like that. If someone rescues them, it's their luck, but if not, they will get to experience what their victims (the animals) went through.
About two hours later, they reached the second base where they found five armed people.
In this attack, Bo, Souta, and Wind joined as well.
They caught poachers by surprise, and everything went smoothly.
In this base, they found two not fully grown bears and a number of smaller animals. They let them all free after confirming that they are mature enough to survive on their own. Aiden was happy about this. He feared that if they find any animals that are too young to be released, Sarah will decide to adopt them.
After keeping five poachers locked in cages, our group of eight (plus a leopard) continued their journey.
About one hour away from the main base of the poachers, they decided to stop for the night.
They were near a lake which is a great spot for camping, and the fatigue was getting to them.
Sarah was happy to see that Kitty is sleeping on a nearby tree while they were setting up the tents.
"Why don't you have those gadgets to watch the surrounding?", Bo asked Aiden who was digging a hole for the campfire.
Aiden understood that Bo is asking about the drones. "The battery will last about three hours. We are saving them to scout enemy bases, anything more than that will deplete the battery."
Haru, Souta, and Wind got busy making fishing rods. They plan to catch fish for dinner.
Aiden told them that he can make a fish stew or if they catch plenty of fish, then he can roast it. This got everyone excited and Bo also made a fishing rod for himself.
Sarah and Nala were digging next to the lake, where the soil is wet, and they were happy to find worms that can be used as a lure for the fish (aka their dinner).
Master Hollow watched youngsters set up the camp and make preparations for dinner with a lingering smile on his face.

"Until few weeks ago I would say that there is no such thing as destiny. That we are all masters of our lives and that everything depends on our actions, or lack of it. But I can't help but wonder: why did I not push you away? ... Why does it feel like everything will be OK as long as we are together? ... You are a piece of me that I never knew was missing. Is this destiny?" 
"Mmm... if that is destiny, then I approve it.", Aiden lightly kissed Sarah's shoulder and rested his chin on it.
