Goku wasn't sure why Bora didn't get hit by Tao's attack but since he couldn't sense ki properly yet he was just glad nothing happened to the two innocent people.

There was no reason now for Goku to scale Korin's tower that meant he wouldn't use the divine water yet, I think I changed the plot somewhat now... I guess he will try to get the water after he gets pawned by Piccolo.

He was already a bit stronger than the original since Tao didn't beat him towards near death, in the original Tao beat the living shit out of him before trying to execute him with the Dodonpa ray a patented technique of the Crane school which could be a useful addition to my arsenal, it was faster than the Kamehameha and it had good piercing capability it was a weaker special beam cannon.

Goku left after he made sure both of them were truly ok, he also had a dragon ball radar in his hands it seemed Bulma made him another one, he was smiling I guess Bulma informed me of taking the dragon ball radar and he thought we would meet during our adventure of gathering the dragon balls, he was right we would meet but only during the final phase.

No reason for me to go over all of the planet to get the balls when the numerous people of the RRA can just do it for me, Ill just swoop in and relieve them of their balls just right after they fully get all of them.

one ball was in a direction towards the north, one was with Goku and five others were all clustered together in a different location.

The dragon ball up north started to move it seemed it was picked by a red ribbon army fellow, time to follow them all back home just like Goku will do.

I flew covertly as I followed the red ribbon army grunt in his plane, He couldn't sense my ki and I was flying way above him, he couldn't detect me at all.

After a few hours of flight we got to the red ribbons army headquarters, Goku was already wreaking havoc in it soldiers tried to shoot him but the bullets just bounced off his thick skin, I wonder what kind of special bullets did they hit Goku in super when they tried to rob him of his vegetables? These one's didn't do jack against him while he actually got scratched as an adult which was able to practically destroy the universe if he puts his mind to it.

Was this whats called shitty writing? whatever the writers of the dragon ball super smoked when they thought of that scene I don't want any of that, the illusions were too much.

After a while of fighting Goku was tied down by a black man in a mecha the funny thing was this man's name was Mr. Black, Toriyama had fun writing his manga back before people wouldn't get offended by every little thing.

Mr. Black snatched the dragon ball from Goku and threw it towards his boss Mr. Red a guy who was shorter than the original Krillin. I already knocked out the soldier who had the dragon ball and took his uniform, while Goku fought with Mr. Black, which I knew would end pretty soon. I decided to directly make my way costumed as a red ribbon soldier towards the bosses room.

The boss was practically glowing when he saw the last dragon ball well one of his eyes was shining as the other was covered by an eyepatch.

But before he could do anything I knocked him down by appearing behind him and chopping him on the neck, he got lucky in the original he was killed by Mr. Black after he heard of his wish of becoming taller, I don't blame him since I did the same wish albeit different as I would grow more in the future.

Goku outside already killed Mr. Black with his Kamehameha I had to be fast, I immediately summoned Shenron with his chant:

"Arise Shenron and grant me my wish!"

I already threw the dragon balls outside, the sky darkened as the dragon made his way out of the balls and said his normal introduction:

"Who has summoned me? I can grant you one wish!"

I immediately got down to business as I didn't want to explain Goku much besides that I got the dragon balls before Mr. Red could make his wish and I got a wish instead:

"Give me an extremely high healing factor which can stop my aging after I fully grew up to the maximum capability of my body which will also increase my adaptability and ki, make it so it increases every time I'm healed from any damage I receive!"

Shenron started to contemplate and said in a booming voice:

"This wish is doable while it's kind of hard on my power to grant you such a power with so many possibilities it can be done."

His eyes glowed and I could feel searing heat start to rush around my body, I could feel my ki increase from it a bit from all the training and the wish from now I could sit at a power level of three hundred.

The dragon balls scattered while I caught the four-star ball before Goku came I tried to cut myself up with some ki to see how I would heal, the wound that appeared on my arm immediately healed up and I could feel my ki increase bit, almost by a hmm I could say it was a very minimal increase maybe not even one it was below one for sure but this wasn't even a flesh wound.

Goku came looking around before looking at me and the petrified dragon ball in my hand, he immediately beamed happily at seeing me then he asked what happened.

I said that I was making my way towards the base as it had all the dragon ball's and I didn't have to search for them when I suddenly saw general Red which was outside and knocked out, I dragged him outside, of course, trying to talk to Shenron and express his wish, I just knocked him out and made a different wish instead, when Goku inquired about my wish I just told him that I would never age and grow old like Master Roshi.

Goku nodded his head also thinking that Master Roshi's body was getting kind of frail in his old age, and he knew how important a martial artists body was so he didn't doubt my words, I said three-quarters of a lie and a truth so it was a truth for him.

I decided to ignore Gero as he would make 18 who she was even though it would be hard on her, I wouldn't have to train her and worry about her being too weak if he didn't make her an android. Her becoming an android gave her infinite amounts of energy never being exhausted while also increasing her power level above normal super Saiyans level.

She could also grow stronger in the future, even though it would be painful for her it was a shortcut to power.

I made sure to not let him take my blood though, I didn't need Cell to become immortal with my newly got ability and Piccolo's cells.

After we left an old man got out of the rubble and swore revenge under his breath. More on Goku rather than me as I didn't kill anyone, Red was still alive too I just knocked him out and stole the dragon balls.

Gero maybe thought I was just a profit or of what happened and that I knew Goku too, he wasn't particularly interested in me.

We made our way to a city and Goku ate quite a lot, I ate too and I had to pay since Goku had no money. Good that I saved from training with Roshi while I also had the remaining money from the prize.

After we caught up properly Goku decided that he wouldn't return to train with Roshi again as he wanted to explore the world more.

I didn't stop him, it was his adventure while I had mine which was a slow and steady rise to power, I had my gravity field which made the need of a gravity machine obsolete while my gravity field could increase infinitely with my minds might.

I should learn to materialize too so I could make my own weighted clothes whenever I want, but that would take some more time since I shouldn't go to Kami's now, the old man was a bit heavy-handed on humans that tried to get to him before he met Goku.

I also didn't want to meet that creepy genie Mister Popo.

I returned to Roshi's island and continued my training, there was only one more year till the next Budokai Tenkaichi anyways so I had quite a lot of time to experiment with my new healing factor and properly master the Godspeed technique.

I could also try to combine it with my full power technique and the six dots, for now, I could barely use four dots but the ki increase was substantial even though the consumption was extremely high, with my base power level of three hundred sixteen times it was four thousand and eight hundred, I could already one-shot Raditz and maybe even fight Nappa a bit in my strongest form If I could combine it with the full power technique and Godspeed which gave me a power level multiplier of two points five increase my power level would be eighteen thousand, as strong as Vegeta when he first came to earth.

That was without having the Kaioken, even though I didn't have the super Saiyan form I had more techniques which would make me maybe as strong as a Super Saiyan one or two, considering the six dots would give me a sixty-four times increase making it a bit stronger than an unmastered Super Saiyan transformation.

I'm not sure if the multiplier will increase if I master it like the super Saiyan transformation though. In general, it increased to one hundred times when mastered, maybe mine will increase to one hundred and fourteen times?

Anyways my healing powers were amazing after six months of training my power level increased to three hundred and ninety and it was still increasing amazingly fast, I could also abuse my body even more and its durability and strength increased by countless times.

I also started my hand into learning the Kienzan, which was a broken ability, considering Krillin's power level was almost fifty thousand during the Frieza saga and he could have killed Frieza which had a power level beyond one million with it shows how broken the ability was.

Well, Krillin once hit Cell with it but he dismissed it which showed that the Kienzan couldn't cut someone if the difference in power was extremely high, but that was Perfect Cell which only a super Saiyan two could defeat. Also, Cell could have regenerated from it even if he was cut.

It was a broken ability against people who couldn't regenerate, so Cell and Buu were the only ones not particularly affected by it.

It wasn't hard to master the technique but it was quite draining, by creating the Kienzan I got insights into ki forming and shaping, maybe next I could even make a ki blade or weapon instead of a simple disc.

Things were looking well for me, Roshi also upped his training by a lot as he saw me train day and night, Yamcha was inspired by my training as well and he started to train with renewed vigor, I also did bonus training behind their backs through but they won't learn about it or they would call me a freak with infinite stamina.

Especially since my turtle shell now weighted above two hundred kilograms.

My training was going extremely well, and I guess Goku was pushing himself quite a lot out there too, he knew I would become stronger while he was adventuring out there so he wouldn't slack off at all.

I first thought that my life would suck if I became Krillin but I realized that Krillin never reached his true potential nor used the dragon ball's properly to catch up to Goku in the dragon ball universe, or well the author never cared about anyone else besides the main character.

One day our protagonist was walking home from work, unfortunately for him he was met by truck-kun just a few blocks away from his house.

After a talk with God he got reincarnated in the dragon ball universe with literally nothing else besides his scattered knowledge about the anime/manga.

As Sasuke went to Academy before everyone else, he sat down on the usual bench. Academy doesn't have much to teach and it was coming to an end. Sasuke learnt Jutsus and knowledge due to boredom.
Sasuke had upgraded his Jutsu arsenal to a very high level in these 4 years and also upgraded his Passive EXP from time to time.
Sasuke saw that most students had entered the class. He stuck some leaves on the back of his hands and used the Leaf sticking exercise for the entire time of academy.
The days in the academy had went as usual while he was just skimming through most of the class time using Shadow clones in these past 4 years. He had already learnt a lot of knowledge and "borrowed" books and scrolls related to medical and sealing jutsus from different ninjas from time to time.
Sasuke had assigned his shadow clones for learning while he passed his time in the village enjoying and passing his time. Flirting with women while using transformation Jutsu, peeping at bathhouses ,etc etc..
He had already decided to go to Orochimaru in order to learn about his years of research and forbidden jutsu related studies.
He wanted to create a future path for himself and absorb the ten-tails chakra instead of just sealing it. He also thought about strengthening his body such that it can become as hard as steel like a cultivation novel.
Chakra was only used for Ninjutsu and other things but it didn't grant the user passive defence. Sasuke had some suspicions about the Chakra being contaminated by Kaguya's will, so he was also thinking about that.
Even though Naruto had a lot of Chakra, most of it was currently being used in the seal of Nine Tails for maintaining its basic functions (otherwise seal is just some ink) which is a good thing for him as it will be easier to control Chakra for some time.
Sometimes, when Sasuke got bored of training and learning, he went to the academy himself instead of using a shadow clone.
When lunch started in the Academy, Sasuke went to an empty place by the edge of academy and made a shadow clone of himself and slipped out of the academy. He then went towards his home to read some books.
The failures are always a proof of learning, only if we learn something from our failures or at least try to learn. He had failed many times while learning Rasengan but after countless efforts, he was able to train it to a bare minimum and then he bombarded EXP like usual and improved his proficiency.
After some time, my shadow clone in academy dissipated after reaching back to the room.
Sasuke had to retrain his Chakra Control slowly everytime he upgraded his body attributes. After dinner, Sasuke went and trained his combat technique while water walking with his shadow clones because his body still needs to adapt to that combat feeling in order to be useful in true combat. When all his shadow clones which he fought against dissipated, he went back to eat some food and go back to sleep.
(A/N : Damn! Did I make him too op?Meh.. Whatever)
As his Chakra levels increased, he was able to assign more shadow clones for training different techniques separately.
Sasuke was also thinking about what he should do when Orochimaru attacks him in the Forest of Death, should he kill him or not? He will have to be more careful of the curse mark and should he get an anti seal for the curse mark already prepared?He had to go and learn along with Orochmaru, otherwise plot will change drastically and things will become very troublesome as he still didn't have a foolproof plan against Obito and Zetsu.
If Orochimaru dies on his hands, Kabuto won't start the 4th Shinobi war and a lot of events like death of 3rd Hokage not occuring will change many future events.
He didn't have much affection for the Hokage either. It will be better for him to die in the hands of his student than to die of old age.
He will have to go away from Konoha either way, or he will become bored to death, always suppressing his abilities in cage. He had already gotten a bit bored of this training routine and boring lifestyle.
Sasuke had already learnt the Chakra Suppression Technique to keep his aura to that of high genin level chakra and he will increase it slowly over time.
His shadow clone had attended the Academy like a cold, arrogant and hard working boy everyday in past 4 years.
"I will be going to the Academy after I pass the Academy and becomes an official Ninja, a genin. Because that is the day, when Hokage watches the students through his crystal ball in front of the Jonins of the village, I will have to be a bit careful"
He went to the Academy Graduation exam next day and after writing the theory exam, he waited for his turn for the practical exam.
Soon, his turn came and he entered the Examination room.

I mumbled faintly to myself, of course I was writing in my journal about my miserable life. Turning the pages on my journal back to May 21 1201, a year before present day. 


                          Present day

My 16th birthday was coming up, uncle told me I was too old for gifts. " alright for your birthday I'll grant you a gift, I'll read you and your siblings a story." A story? That's more childish than anything, I thought to myself. 

"My children gather around your older brother Navia(Nav-yá)." 

The children of the orphanage raced towards me, all trying to form a circle but failed. A slight giggle was released, Gora was giggling too. She threw herself on my lap. 

"Gora you've grown so much!" I told her to get her off my lap. "I'm 8, that's not big at all! Your the old one here!" After a little squabble she gained victory and sat on my lap, it gave me a big smile. 
 "there once was a stubborn yet adventurous girl who always wore red no matter the occasion, she'd play in the forest morning til nigh-" 

the loud banging on the door interrupted my uncle. The banging on the door grew lower as my uncles voice was heard, reassuring the unknown that he'll open the door. 

I wasn't surprised when i saw two soldiers standing firmly outside the door waiting for it to be opened. 

"SIR! we are in desperate need of new recruits for training!"

 My uncle is the chief of a small village by the name of Hortland, which would explain why two soldiers are in front of our door. 

Uncle looked at me as if he was expecting me to say something, of course me without thinking volunteered for death. We train everyday to prepare ourself for the October, the month of death. 

Every year a village gets torn apart by man-eating spirits that imitate the form of a red Cardinal, flocks of these birds enter villages and demolish landmarks, homes, and to eliminate the human race. 

Fortunately our ancestors have built walls surrounding the village and what's inside of it, they stand to a hight of 1000 ft. 
These walls were made out of iron and to our knowledge it's the strongest metal on earth, but all these facts could've just been mere myths, rumors. 

Our village just accepted the fact that there were monstrous demons outside of these walls waiting to devour us all. 

The reason to my hypothesis is that our village never experienced any abnormal activity, no blood thirsty monsters lurking around the walls. 

Neither were there any neighboring villages that we know of experienced any of this, we aren't even sure if there's any humans outside these walls, maybe we were the only ones left of mankind. 

The point is we have no knowledge of what's out there, but one thing for sure if these beasts actually exist is that I, 

Navia will extinguish these monsters and that's my top priority.

A confused Benjamin followed Grant into the castle. Along the way, the lazy system finally spoke and explained the situation.
"Seven or eight years ago, the situation on the continent was still quite tense, as there was another country constantly competing with the kingdom of Helius, and war was imminent. Therefore, these aristocrat children had to be educated about the ins and outs of warfare. Unfortunately, not long soon after, the opposing country split up because of civil strife, so there was no war and their war education ended."
 
The system paused, and then said:
 
"But all these restless children, they felt like their talent in war was wasted after having learned a belly-full of things and they were full of willingness to fight, but had no avenue to express it. Someone then proposed to have this regular activity, to gather a group of people in the castle and engage in a simulated war game. Of course, they don’t think it is just a game, they treat it like a real war. Every one of them is dead serious."
 
After listening to the system, Benjamin felt a bit speechless.
 
"These people are really naive."
 
He was not interested in this boring war game, was it not like children playing gangsters? Instead of wasting time here, he would rather go back to sleep for a while, or rather "meditate" for a while.
 
"You speak as if as if you were mature enough already, you dare say that you did not play a similar game when you were in primary school?" The system began its habitual bickering.

However, he could also see that those defeated aristocratic children were not as serious as Grant. Grant really took this game as a war, but the others saw it more as a game.

The group noted in response.

"Yes, we would like to receive the reward within our selections." AlayaNala directed to the magician over the counter.

When the final confirmation was accepted by the magician, the group was showered with descending light, symbolic for gaining a level, and they received a notice of Items deposited to their inventory that rang thrice.

None of them bothered to check if the items are in their inventory. They are more inclined to the unknown reward that the special quest will give. Feeding their exp to the Herbalists Gloves once more, the company looked at their leader to proceed with the quest.

It was already past lunchtime when Sai left his bed. Food was prepared on the table with a note, 'Eat, we're out for your brother's theatre play, come out for dinner tonight at 7:00 pm, Central Plaza, don't forget to wear a jacket'-Mom.

He pinned the note over by the refrigerator door and prayed after removing the screen covering the food on the table.

[Message: Izen: Your mother invited us for dinner, a celebration for your brother's theatre play. See you there!]

Sai finished his lunches, cleaned the after himself, then went on a jog. Though it was already mid-day, he has to at least run for 20 kilometers today. Running under the midday sun, Sai had to constantly take a break to catch his beat and refresh. After about 3 hours of cardio exercise, he made his way home, slowly taking his time. And when he reached home his sweat was all dried, breathing normalized, so instead of taking a long rest on a chair, he went to get a warm bath. A bath that took almost an hour, he stayed in the bathtub thinking, when the transfer would come to pick them up, him and some other neighborhood kids heading to the research center for their training. After his long bath, dried his hair, and went to take a nap, then his phone rang.

"Hello," Sai said with a half-asleep tone as he picked up the phone call.

"Where are you? Everyone is waiting!" Izen said irritated, she wasn't able to get her nap yet since they had to prepare for the meet. Ladies are ladies after all.

The tone on the voice shook Sai from his dreaming state, the looked at the time reading: 7:18 pm, he then dashed to his closet pulled some casual wear he prepared before going to bed, and called for a cab. It takes, precisely, a 15-minute ride to his destination from their house. Sao dressed as best he could, wore his how's not forgetting his phone and wallet, turned off the appliances, and left the building.

When he got out, headed to the street, a cab arrived stopping in front of him as if clockwork, every action seemed to be calculated effectively. Sitting at the back of the transport he gave his destination to the driver and opened his phone.

The first call arrived at 5:00 a few minutes after he got to bed. Reading the messages, that contained just one phrase; Wake up! is all it said. After reading the message he's sent a grouped message saying: "On my way."

Nobody really cared if he attended the dinner, they could just get him some takeout for later, he is a grown man after all, but his brother kept on asking if he is coming. So the adults couldn't turn a blind eye and called for him, but that was just for show. Fortuitously, his best friend; Izen, attended the dinner, and this gave Sai's brother more reason to impose on his attendance. None of them thought this as annoying, to their eyes it was cute, the younger brother looking up to his elders.

When the food started to be served, Sai appeared behind the door of the restaurant. Izen saw him and waves her hand raised to attract his attention.

"Just in time. Thank you for waiting." Sai greeted his elders and then sat beside his brother and best friend.

"I wanted to wake you up earlier but mother said not to disturb you." Sai's brother said.

"Haha... Really. Thanks." Sai put his hands around his brother's neck pulling him close then messing up his hair.

The dinner was delicious, mixed continental dishes and tropical seafood grub enticed the family gathering. The conversation ranged from Sai's brother's recital to his acceptance in the research department and Izens decision to postpone her transfer.

When the family got home, Sai made sure that his brother went to sleep, and then he freshened up and went to his room. Booting up his computer and browsing the CELESTIALS official website for new information, and the forums for hints on how to get the descent drops and equipment, as well as where to get materials for the alchemist and blacksmith quest.

Sai was able to locate a spot where he could collect for pearls, located in the assassins encampment, Bandits lair, Nad gold ores From the mines near the Royal Training grounds. As for the firewood, there were no hints on what material is of high quality so he would still have to look for a suitable source. After a while of searching and browsing, Sai decided to log in to the game.

Wearing the headgear, Sai laid down on his bed and initiated the login interface of the equipment.

Ye Sheng had all the authority to recruit teachers in his own hands. Thus, to increase his contribution to the Snow Wind Family, he decided to bring Ye Shou in on the authority of selecting the recruits. This way, Ye Sheng could remain within Ye Shou's recent recollections and thus, forge a relationship with one of the elders of the family.

"You cannot expect us to believe that—" Ye Sheng began with a frown as Nik frowned and spoke up, "I am not asking for remuneration. I need a place to stay, this Institute will be my residence. And, I will be the one to decide who is talented enough to digest my techniques and philosophy. 

I do not want to discriminate against anyone," Nik spoke somberly while knowing for a fact that he will discriminate against males and continued, "That is to say, even the kids from the Gin Family won't receive any special treatment from me.

Most of all," Nik picked the parchments that described the Holy Orchid Institute's Lesson Plans in detail, "I need to be the one to form my the annual examination regarding the Combat Arts and expel any student I deem unfit."

"This!" Ye Sheng frowned. This was one authority that he wouldn't grant to anyone else.

"We can't give you the right to expel. But I can agree to other conditions."

"Alright."

Nik's expression morphed from frustration into calmness and nodded. He had no need to expel anyone. Why would he? It isn't like he has some personal vendetta against a bunch of kids. The only reason he added that condition was to raise the cost of his recruitment so high that Ye Sheng would have to reduce it. This was a simple tactic, really. But Nik thought that being simple was the way to roll in this world.

Nik's sudden agreement cut further chances to reduce his demands and Ye Sheng finally nodded before pulling up a contract. Each contract was under the subject of Saint Judgement Hall. The contract was looked authentic enough and Nik thought for a moment before picking the quill and writing in the same language of this world.

"All right, then. I will be working here from now on, so, please take care of me."

Nik stood up and bent his waist slightly. Turning on his heels, Nik abruptly departed.

"Where are you going? Your room is on the teacher's block!"

Ye Sheng called out hurriedly while Nik turned his head and smiled.

"I am going to explore the institute. I will return after having my food."

Ye Sheng nodded and took three things out of his spatial ring.

"Take these," He handed him a spatial ring, a badge, and a purple card, "The spatial ring and the Demon Spirit Card is given to each teacher. This is your identity badge. Once the classes start, only the teachers with badges are allowed within the faculty."

Nik nodded and equipped the ring on his pinky finger... with how thick his fingers had grown, his pinky finger could easily put a young guy's middle finger to shame. Of course, Nik would still respect the ancient traditions and would only use his middle finger to— give the finger— when necessary.

The use of the Spatial Ring was easy. He just had to mobilize his system energy, or, as a matter of fact, any form of energy made him able to access his Spatial Ring to store or withdraw items.

Leaving the Teacher's block, Nik spared a single glance towards the training field that was held for the teacher's recruitment. The two training fields flanking the teacher's block were only accessible to teachers. There, the teachers of the institute could spar against each other and even exchange techniques that they wished to teach their students. Needless to say, tomorrow, Nik would have to demonstrate many techniques in one of these two training fields so that the Institute could finally push his techniques into their lesson plans. The back of the teacher's black was another inaccessible garden hosting some rare plants that are ordinarily unavailable. The backyard was designed with the intent to soothe the teacher's spirits and inspire them. In front of Nik was the main gate through which he entered the faculty.

He already had a rudimentary understanding of the Holy Orchid Institute. This place had a size befitting a small town with only five locations constructed far away from each other. To the left of the teacher's block was the Student's Block that held apprentice, intermediary, and senior classes. Meanwhile, to his right, a few kilometers would be the genius block filled with talents that could surpass most of the teachers in this school. The only reason that these teachers were the way they are was due to the Principal. Holding onto the thought that knowledge and skill surpass power, this hegemony of a principal boasted strength that rivaled the heads of the High Nobles. Of course, Nik now knew that he was also a pervert befitting Nik's acquaintance.

Nik's destination was neither the Student's Block or the Genius Block. He took a left turn and followed the pavement towards the north end of the Holy Orchid Institute and finally, after a half-an-hour of casual jogging, he reached the Library. Unlike the traditional buildings that the three blocks were constructed into, the Library was constructed in the shape of a tower. Its base was wide and the higher it went, the narrower the tower got. A youth guarded the entrance. Since the institute was barely populated, nobody came for the Library. Nik's appearance did put the youth in a tense position.

Before the youth could act on his misunderstandings, Nik took out his badge and waved it in front of him, "I am the new teacher. I want to read some stuff."

The youth looked at the badge for a whole minute and only let Nik in after finding nothing strange with it.

It was Nik's understanding that most of the collections in the library were excavated from ancient sights and the language inscribed on the parchments were unidentifiable. But there was one thing Nik couldn't understand. The power system of this world was fairly simple yet extraordinary. Kill Spirit beasts highly compatible with your own spirit and then absorb the spirit ring that emerges from spirit beast to gain a unique quality known as— Spirit Technique.

So, why would the institute value the ancient parchments highly and why would they go to such lengths to protect them? 

The answer came in the form of strange markings.

Not one, not two, but most of the unidentifiable scripts held strange runes and markings that are defined as inscription by the current language of this world. In essence, Inscriptions were patterns or charts that drew spiritual energy to achieve special changes to reality. They were like a program.

Feeling too hot? Draw a coolant inscription pattern and inject your spiritual energy within to change the temperature of your surroundings. The degree of change and the affected area is determined by the inscription pattern and the amount of spiritual energy injected.

That is to say, the higher the quality of the inscription, the lower the amount of spiritual energy needed to achieve the intended effect.

Nik placed the book into the shelf. 

It was useless.

Once again, Nik found himself uninterested in the art of drawing patterns... writing down codes and creating programs sounded much more enticing than this.

Exhaling deeply, Nik climbed up the stairs. The lower level was filled with articles describing inscription patterns. The first floor, however, held detailed records on the spirit beasts and plants that are known to produce spirit rings. Since Nik could power up his spirits using unconventional means due to the limit placed by his rank, Nik needed to know the strange creatures out there in the Star Dou Forest.

The rest of the afternoon was spent reading on the detailed records and observing the images of the spirit beasts on the parchments with unreadable languages. To keep himself from starving, Nik decided to tap into his refilled stash and continued going through the myriad records.

Ye Hing smiled cheerfully while Ray had an urge to spit. He had already made sure that Ye Hing would ever call him with the names darling or sweetie when in the mood for some fluff but never add 'er' to his name. Alas, within the City Lord's Courtyard, Ye Hong had to keep up with the pretenses.

Dressed in a green set of clothes, Ray turned her head and matched Ye Hong's gaze. 

Ye Hong presented a clip.

Ray could only roll his eyes.

"Hello, elder cousin."

The girl beside Ray spoke up softly. Her long purple hair matched Ye Hong's while her cute face turned, too. A soft blush crept up her cheeks when she saw the clip and put two and two together. But she spoke nothing and stood up. 

"I- I should be going."

The girl averted her eyes and then mentioned Ray.

"I will also come later. We will go out and eat... I know a good place."

Saying that, the girl left hurriedly.

"So? What do you think of Yun'er?"

Ye Hong asked while Ray shrugged.

"She is a talent. What else do I need to think? Anyway, it is hard for me to keep my gender a secret here..."

Ray mumbled before looking at Ye Hong, "The kids here can get married early, right?"

The books were in digital form inside of library interface, Aron started to go through them and segregate them into groups. The first group was easiest to learn, languages with big similarities to languages known by him. For example, English and German shared many features, and many words sounded similar or even the same. The second group were languages without connection like Arabic or African. The third group were languages of the past, for example Sumerian or Coptic.
Aron spent a few days on encrypting book in Polish, this wasn't so easy. Russian could help him to understand some words, still covering rest of them was hard and after working for many hours.

It was time to leave space to check village and catch some fresh air. It was middle of summer, people were focused on harvest and their animals.
'It's so quiet and calm.' Life in a village was peaceful and boring. There was not much thing to entertain him.
'Their entire life is around working. It's pretty bad…'Everyone needed some kind of stress reliever, or their mental health will be in terrible state. Simple villagers had their holidays, but it was three to four times in the year. 
'That's pretty sad. They work so hard to survive, and they cannot even go to bar…' His mind was so focused on recreating technology, so he forgot about basic things of healthy society.
Suddenly, he heard Joe screaming and panting heavily.
"MASTER! I NEED YOUR HELP! PANT! PANT! MY MOTHER…PANT! PANT!" His breath was unstable and he could collapse in any moment.
"WHAT?! Tell me! What happened?" It must be serious if he ran the entire way from Copperhead Village. 
"MY MOTHER DISAPPEARED! HELP! PANT! MASTER!" It was too much for his oxygen-deprived body, he lost his consciousness and his breath started to slowly stabilize. 
'I need to go to Copperhead and investigate!' Joe couldn't give him any useful information in this state, Aron decided to leave him and go alone to check the situation.
'I hope it's nothing serious.' The bandits were dead, and it would be too soon for another bandit's group to arrive. The situation was bizarre and unpredictable, Anna was important figure in Copperhead Village. 
'Let's find out!' His speed was higher than horse's speed, so he sprinted on his own feet.
