In the middle of the Arena, a large slab of stone was placed in a vertical position.
This stone slab isn't an ordinary one, for sure. It is atleast 4 to 5 meters big with several runes carved on it.
"I heard that the outside world uses the awakening scrolls for convenience but this awakening stone of our clan has a special property. It enhances your existing Arcana while you are trying for the second awakening."
"I see… This is why there are a lot of 12-year-olds trying to participate this time," Azzy commented, hearing out Barbara's explanation.
"Yup." She nodded with a smile, "and you know, in the rarest cases, someone receives an additional soul skill. The last one to receive it was Lady Night. It happened 22 years ago."
"Eh?" Azzy widened his eyes in surprise, "Master is only 34 years old?"
"Hmm? You don't about it?" She looked at him as if he was that clueless.
Azzy thought his master is indeed awesome but didn't know she was this incredible. A 34-year-old who is a seven-star Arcana Master? She's indeed a daughter of heaven.
He replied, "I didn't pay much attention."
"She's my role model you know… There was one time…" Upon mentioning Avia, Barbara started to show her fanatic side…
"Young Miss Crescent, Young Master Garcia," At that time someone called these twelve-year-olds, making Azzy sigh in relief as he no longer wishes to stick with this cousin of his. Even her way of talking is a bit similar to Evelyn.
The only difference is that Evelyn can drag people into random dreams with her words while this cousin has the power of persuasion in her mouth. Whenever she talks, Azzy wasn't able to resist answering her questions or stopping the conversation.
"Everything is ready. Please…" A staff told them to join the line.
Both of them stood up from their seats and joined a line that's full of kids.
Azzy didn't know what kind of reputation Barbara has but no one dared to talk to either of them when he was with her. So, he thought, even though it's a pain, it's better to stick with her.
The adults stayed back in the waiting hall; meanwhile, Truman Ash, one of the Elders of the Death clan as well as the Master of Pavilion leads the kids to the Arena.
As Azzy stepped inside, he saw it was packed with an audience numbered atleast a thousand.
That's when he thought the clan is a lot bigger than he imagined. This pocket world is as big as a Province for a reason.
Unlike the usual atmosphere, the arena was filled with silence and no cheers escaped from anyone, trying to behave themselves.
"Wow, all the clan leaders gathered here…" "Is he the Clan head in the middle? It's my first time seeing him…" "I heard that all of them are peak rank-8 and our clan head is just a step away from becoming rank-10." "Yeah, I heard that rank-10 masters can regain their youth and live for another hundred thousand years?" "Well, in history, only the founders of hidden clans reached such rank before ascending to the celestial world of heaven."
All sorts of murmurings rang in Azzy's ears. Maybe, it's because he's a 3-star, his hearing improved quite a lot. The only problem was that he can't control it, yet.
Then, his eyes lay on the stone slab in the middle of a 500 sq.meter big platform.
"That is the awakening stone I was talking about," Barbara chirped from the side.
As everyone arrived, Elder Truman said, "eight-year-olds, the first-timers, gather on the right. Twelve-year-olds on the left."
Barbara and Azzy moved to the left along with others.
Elder Truman then bowed to the feeble looking old man, who sat at a certain section along with other clan leaders and elders. Avia and Evelyn also joined them.
The clan head nodded.
Elder Truman then addressed the audience, "everyone, welcome to our clan awakening ceremony. As you all know, first, our new generation will be awakening their soul cards through this wonderful relic left by our founder, Azrael Garcia.
Then, the second awakening ceremony will begin, where our talented young Arcana Masters will get the opportunity to increase their potential.
Ordinary people will become talented. Talented will become genius, the Genius will become Monsters, and the monsters will become the son or the daughter of heaven.
As for the second part, we have made a few changes, this time." Pointing at the section where Azzy and others stood, he continued, "These young Arcana Masters will not spar against each other but display their powers, sparring against with their senior disciples from all the Pavilions.
Of course, their seniors will hold back their strength and use the power equivalent to the candidate. Let's give a round of applause for this young generation who will become the future pillars of our clan."
After everyone clapped for a few seconds, he looked at the clan head to give permission.
Qridus Garcia then spoke in a whisper, "begin." Even though it's a whisper, it seemed loud and clear to everyone.
Elder Truman of the Ash clan then addressed the eight-year-olds to go towards the stone slab and place their palms on it.
One by one, they started to walk to the relic and did as they were told after bowing to the clan head and the clan leaders and Elders.
Azzy saw, as soon as their palms touched the relic, the runes that carved on it, started to glow for a few seconds while their soul cards awakened appeared before everyone.
The first time, when one's Arcana is awakened, it usually appears beside its Master.
He felt strange that his Arcana never appeared that way. Only a set of weapons appeared in his hands.
"Aleister Blood greets the Clan Head." A cute looking boy with messy hair and large eyes with bright red pupils bowed to others before placing his palms on the awakening stone.
Usually, the number of glowing runes indicates one potential. The higher the number, the greater the potential.
But, as soon as his palms touched the relic, more than 90 runes of 108 runes lit up, shocking the audience.
A soul card formed before the boy while a thick aura made of blood surrounded the eight-year-old. 
The Crescent clan leader turned his head aside and said with a smile, "Congratulations, Francis. Your clan produced a genius with great potential. We haven't seen a situation like this for ten years."
The Blood clan leader, Francis Blood responded with a depressed tone, "but it's only 95. Another 5, it would have been great." 
Even though he appeared a little bit disappointed, these 8-star Arcana Masters can feel even the minute changes that are happening in their body. The clan leader was indeed pleased with the result.
"This boy has the potential to become the next clan leader, Francis." The clan head commented, staring at the boy.
"You are forgetting about Remia, Qridus." Francis reminded him of his daughter. 
Being in the same generation, he's also one of the people who are closest to the Clan head, having the privilege to call him by his first name.
"That's right. I almost forgot about her. It's already been a thousand years. She had made a breakthrough to rank-8, right? Why is that irresponsible brat still playing out there?" Qridus then remembered this girl, who was always out there, trying to explore the mysterious world of Arcana.
He immediately scolded her who is at least 7000 years old but doesn't know how to act her age.
Francis' expression turned sour.

Three years later
I am not eight years old. I have been doing martial arts class for a few years now and it has been pretty enjoyable and I am starting gymnastics soon because my mom got a promotion a few months ago so she gets more money now but she still works a lot. Ichika and I (the girl I met at the park a few years ago at the park) have become good friends and we even go to the same school. I also still run into Bakugo at the park but I don't see Midoriya with him as much. I still don't have a lot of friends really its just Ichika and I usually hang out with Ichika's other friends when they are with her. I also have gotten pretty good at basic chakra control and I can now walk on walls and I've been practicing other Jutsu. And since quirks have to be registered with the government my mom found out what my quirk was and I explained to them that I had a type of energy in my body that lets me do different things and the doctors wanted to research it more so I have to go and get a check-up and tell them when I am able to do a new thing with my chakra.
At my martial arts class for the first while it was just easy and basic exercises like running and stuff but recently we have gotten into actual fighting and I am in an age group ranging from 7 years old to 10-year-olds and the only people who usually do better than me are the 10-year-olds which I think is pretty normal because they are two years older than my body. And currently, I am at school.
"So guys what do you want to play today?"<Ichika>
We are currently at recess and I am with Ichika a boy named Daichi, A boy named Hibiki, A boy named Kosuke and a girl named Nariko.
"How about tag."<Daichi>
Everyone but me says ok.
'How the hell can children play the same game everyday. All we play is tag and its different varients. Like god damn. For the past three years its only been tag or  hide and seek.'<Kori>
We then go to the play ground and start to play and Kosuke is it and is currently chasing Nariko around the play ground after chasing me around. And I am currently on top of the playground structures by the edge looking at Kosuke chase the others around. When suddenly I hear someone whisper something behind me.
"Hey Hiroki watch this."<Giichi>
I then suddenly get pushed from behind and fall off the edge of the structure. The structure is around 4 feet tall and I quickly send some chakra to my feet and stick to the wall before falling on my face.
I then walk back up the wall and see two boys who look around 10 years old and they have confused looks on their faces. In my school the 8 year olds 9 year old and the ten year olds go to recess at the same time.
"What the hell, watch where you are going you knocked me off the playground you idiot."<Kori>
One of the boys face goes from confused to angry.
"Don't call me a idiot you stupid eight year old."<Giichi>
The I watch as he actives what I assume is his quirk because he nails grow longer and sharper and he swings his hand at me.
I then try to jump back trying to avoid it but I accidently jump back into a wall and my arm gets cut and starts to bleed. 
Ichika then walks up 
"What are you doing you aren't supposed use quirks at school."<Ichika>
The boy then turns and scratches Ichika worse then me.
Then the other kids on the play ground stop and watch and some go and tell the teacher.
The boy's friends starts to back away while the boy starts swinging at me again and almost scrathes me again until I walk onto the wall I backed into earlier and I watch as his nails scratches the wall and leaves behind really deep scratch marks on.
'This kid is trying to kill me.'<Kori>
I get just out of his reach and do some hand sighns.
'I am not that good at this jutsu yet but no one is stopping him right now.'<Kori>
After I do the hand signs two ice needles form in the air and launch at the boy and sadly since I am still not the good at the jutsu one of them misses and one of them scratch his arm and tears his clothes and leaves behind a small cut.
He then grabs his arm in pain and then starts to jump to get me and scraths me again until a teacher apperies on the playground and stops him and yells at everyone.
I the walk down the wall and look around. Some of the kids were crying and I notice Ichika on the ground crying with a very bloody arm and I watch as the teacher comes and picks her up and yells at me and the boy to go to the nurses room with her.
When we get to the nurses office we get separated from the boy and bandaged up by nurse and then the teacher comes and asks me what happened and I told him that I got pushed off the playground and how I called the other kid a idiot and then how he attacked me and Ichika. The teacher then goes talks to the boy.
"Giichi says that you called him a a lot of names and told you to stop and then you attacked him and he defended himself.<Teacher>
"What! then he is lying go ask the other kids their."<Kori>
"I have already called them here to talk."<teacher.
After a few minutes some people appaiered in the office.
The people included all of my friends who I was playing tag with, Giichi's friends and two other people who were also 10 years old who were on the play structure.
The teacher then asks them what they saw and all of my friends says that we were playing tag and that I ran on the play structure to get away from Kosuke. The other two people said they saw me get pushed and then saw Giichi attack me and when the teacher asks Giichi's friend for a answer.
"Hiroki what did you see happen and you better tell the truth."<teacher>
"Umm, I was hanging out on the playground when Giichi tells me to watch him as he pushed the girl off the playground when she suddenly saves her self with her quirk and then calls tells Giichi to watch where he is walking and calls him a idiot when Giichi then attacks her and her friend."<Hiroki>
I then see Giichi glaring at Hiroki when the teacher then turns towards Giichi.
"Giichi go to the office now."<Teacher>
The teacher then turns towards Ichika and I. 
"You two stay here with the nurse."<Teacher>
He then tells everyone else to leave. And he heads if to the office probably to yell at Giichi.
I then go to Ichika.
"I am sorry for getting involved in that fight, that caused you to get hurt."<Kori>
She then sniffles.
"It's fine it wasn't your fault."<Ichika>
The nurse then walks up to us.
"The teacher told me to call your parents to come pick you up, so they will be here soon."<Nurse>
Ichika and I both say ok and sit their in silence and after around 5 minutes Ichika's mom comes and picks her up and after another 10 minutes my mom comes and picks me up.
"So you got into a fight."<Akina>
"It wasn't my fault the other kid started it."<Kori>
"I know I was told about it but it isn't good to get into fights."<Akina>
"Your not too hurt are you?"<Akina>
"No they really are just some light scratches Ichika got hurt more."<Kori>
We then get to our apartment and my mom said she will have to go back to work in a little while and she tells me to take a bath because there is some dried blood on my arm.
The cuts still sting quit a bit and I think that I should learn medical jutsu so that I could heal stuff like this in minutes and I decide that I should eventually ask the god for a book that teaches me some medical jutsu if I get the chance to talk to him again because he hasn't answered any of my calls since I turned 7. 
I eventually get out of the bath and do some homework and spend therest of the day resting.

In lanes 1-4, there isn't really anyone of note; just some boys aged 7-10. The 10 year olds have a very distinct advantage in that they're most likely taller and their muscles may be more developed.

Also, 10 year olds are more used to roughhousing, making their skin near impenetrable.

This has nothing to do with swimming but it's a neat fact.

In lane 7 however, I feel like I recognize that girl...hmmmm, maybe when she starts swimming I'll remember her? I can usually know who the female swimmer is on the Olympics Channel with the way they swim.

For example, Jakabos, one of the ho- best female swimmers has long arms; this means that her movements are wider, more powerful and not as sharp. Her elbows bend a bit more as well.

[what a freaking pervert you are. You pay attention to the female swimmers, whatever. But now? You look at their elbows?]

'Oy...you make me sound like some weirdo. I look at their swimming styles! It's for science! Those late nights watching FINA and the Olympics Channel are NOT just for my pleasure!'

[uhuh uhuh...oh look, they're starting]

As Feelie, mentions that, I hear the whistle and the kids on the diving boards jump into the water...needless to say, it's a bit of a disaster.

The kids in lane 1, 2, 6 and 9 all had their goggles pulled off of their heads, making their eyes get exposed to the pool water.

For me, I'm personally fine with it and have been training without goggles with Seung-ri Jim for about 3 months to get used to it. Other children, however?

Nuh-uh!

They all stop in their tracks and start floating above the water by lightly kicking and make their way to the poolside. They are rubbing their eyes and lane 1 and 9 are both crying.

It's very hard not to laugh but I need to try! Holding on is key to developing a relationship with Coach K. 

Even though swimming isn't a team sports, you still need to show some decency when handling teammates. In fact, there was this one story where a disgruntled teammate was repeatedly bullied and harassed by this better swimmer.

The bully swimmer was able to get to the FINA finals while the bullied swimmer was eliminated at the quarterfinals. Annoyed and jealous, right before the swim, she broke into the other swimmer's hotel room and smashed up her legs.

That ruined both of their careers. Literally no chance at redemption all becuase you decided to call a kid a "poopy-head" in 3rd grade and called them "dumdum" in middle school.

You feel good about it now? That the little name calling will get you forever ruined from the legs down, huh? Think about it...

[that's such an isolated case that it's stupid you even mention it. However! I need to agree. Respect your teammates and they will respect you. It costs nothing to be nice]

Ignoring the haters by focusing my entire attention to the race, looking at lane 7 and lane 3 as both of them are the quickest so far from off the bat.

Both look like they have great technique. Sharp elbows, thumb in first and kicks never above the water. They look very promising.

The other lanes: lane 4, lane 5 and lane 8, are all mediocre. Well, at least they are still young. This age is the perfect age for improving your swimming. 

Despite the fact that they suck so much that a person with cerebral palsy with 10 kilogram weights could out swim them, they are fairly good for their age.

Right now in this race, it's a 100 meter freestyle. The pool is 25 meters long meaning that it's 2 laps; back and forth.

(A.N) lol. So, to avoid any confusion for the non-swimming people or people who are still confused by now about what a lap is; a lap is a round trip. Going to the other side of the pool and coming back is a lap; not JUST going to the other side.

Sorry if you knew but there are probably people who were confused lol. Again, a lap is to the end and back. Got it? Cool, let's return.

It's like watching two of the best people compete against each other: Senna v. Prost, Rosberg v. Hamilton and Celtics v. Lakers just to name a few.

Imagine that but much, much, much slower than Formula 1 cars or basketball games. These are kids who having even lived a decade, give them a break.

By the 2nd lap, both of them are dead tired but they keep on going. Their grit is immense that's for sure. Most 8-9 year olds can't even continue after one lao and these kids are crushing it!

On the return back to the starting point, both are constantly breathing on both sides, even taking little rests. The girl on lane 7 is almost crying while the boy is clutching his stomach.

Honestly, I don't think this is what coach K intended. If you are going to make a bunch of barely children swim 100 meters and expect them to finish, you'd be dead wrong. Wrong and stupid. Stupid and wrong.

Lanes 4, 5 and 8 are all so tired they are just floating in the pool and trying to get out; they quit after reaching 3/4ths of the first lap.

Lane 7 comes in first and then lane 3. Coach K's stopwatch showed us that the girl on lane 7 got a time of 1:39.56. In all honesty, that is an absolutely stunning time. For her age and for that distance, not many can do it.

The boy was no slouch either, clocking in at 1:45.32. Both are amazing times don't get me wrong and I'll probably see them in competitions in the future. But...hard work is nothing in face of talent! And I have both!

[by talent you mean me, the best system ever, Feelie?]

Feelie interrupts my feel good streak by saying I don't have talent! Again! I recall his words and get a bit agitated. You mean to say I didn't work hard? You little system! I worked hard!

Thinking about his words more however, I realize something...he is getting more and more like me! Before, he used to be more modest and polite with his insults, calling me "scoundrel" and "rascal". 

But now?

He prefers uplifting himself by pushing me down! He is me! I made him like me! Mwuahahahahaha!!! You fool, Feelie! I have found you all out and your codes are being read as we think!

'Awwwwww... would ya look at that, it seems I've rubbed off on you a little bit! Hic...hic!...I raised that boy...'

[wha- don't even tr-]

I ignore him and focus on the next match and the encouraging words of Coach K. Honestly, as a coach, his skills on pep talks and motivational speeches are top notch.

Some of the best coaches are even better at motivating their pupils than at the damn sport. Some examples of this are Rob Ryan of the Cowboys, Rex Ryan of the Jets and so on.

I know one word you could say, your honor, and that is "Guilty"!!!

Coach K goes over to the two troopers gives them a big pat on their backs. After all, they deserve it after showing their perseverance.

"Hey, Chang-min ah and Mi-sun ah, both of you were absolutely amazing out there. Great job"

""Un!""

After he pats them on their heads, he lets them take a well deserved rest and focuses on the next batch of swimmers, silently hoping they are at least 70% of the two perseverance monsters.

'Hmmmm...wait a minute. Why does Mi-sun sound familiar?...hmmmm, Olympics? FINA?.....oh wait! ASEAN! OH DAMN!

Now I realize who Mi-sun is; a bronze medalist at ASEAN. Despite her "only" getting a bronze medal, that's much, much better than most people out there. She is incredibly talented and from the news interviews, has a great personality.

She stopped swimming after she got 6th in the recent ASEAN in my previous life and settled down to marry some chaebol with a fake-ass hairline, obviously tucked in stomach and Botox inflated lips.

Like a damn kendoll! Look at me! My hair is so much thicker than his even when I was 40 and bald! I honestly felt bad for her but checking the stock market, I didn't feel too bad anymore.

A hint why: she was worth over 10 billion won just from marrying him. 

Maybe I'll try motivating her in the future to swim more or something. Hopefully she doesn't get ri- doesn't quit swimming this time around.

She was a great swimmer and many men loved watching her.

[uhuh...a "great" swimmer, right?]

'Yeah! A very se- great swimmer and an amazing athlete! Her looks are only 10/10 anyways!' 

The third batch of people are getting ready and I'm looking forward to seeing how So-young compares to the other 7-10 year olds...

"Good luck, So-young! Fighting!"

She turns her head and looks at me with scarlet cheeks and dazed eyes. She regains focus and gives a wide smile.

he has a tall height of 184 cm, a fast metabolism, perfect swimmer’s body without even trying and is unknowingly a ladies man!

He makes girls fall for him without even knowing!!!

How do you even do that?!?!

Unfortunately however, he let this all get to his head. Not starting his swimming career until he was in junior high and barely making it into the international leagues. Even then, he would neglect his training regularly.

With his 184 cm height, his constant slumping caused him to lose some height, eventually reducing  to 176 cm.
Even with his fast metabolism, he ate too much and rarely exercised; giving him a potbelly at 29.
Despite his natural swimmer’s body, his shoulders got narrowed down and social skills now non-existent.

Looking back at his life in high-school and college as a 40 year old salaryman making just above-average wage, he stares over Wariss Bridge and contemplates. Contemplating whether life is worth living or not...

NOTE: This story isn’t one of those “ sport is life” novels. This is the story of redemption for a man who lost everything due to his own negligence. He isn’t a swimmer, he is a regular guy with a life who is also happens to be a swimmer. 

Don’t get me wrong though, there will be tournament arcs and swimming tournaments but I will focus on a more slice of life type story for this novel.

The village school was one of the establishments at the top of the hill. Due to the increasing number of children in the past few years, the school now has two buildings to use with the fenced school grounds in front of it. 

The buildings were divided into six rooms, two for each age class, namely the three-year-olds, four to nine year-olds and 10 year-olds, to separate the boys and girls which usually have different afinities. However, the rooms for the 10 year-olds were not in full use daily since they practice outside most of the time. With a few hundred residents in the village now, their children were able to fit in these buildings.

After school, most of the students left to go home while some stayed around to play in the school grounds. Meanwhile, the seven children of the chief's family met outside the school building. 

When Ling saw Una, his eyes lit up while he smiled with his chubby cheeks rising and held his hands out to be carried.

"Na-na!"

Una, initially holding hands with Mina and Alim, passed the three children to the twins and smilingly accepted the baby.

Una raised Ling up high when she held him since he liked it. That was when she noticed what the baby was wearing. Her smiled froze on her face and she looked at the twins, "What is Ling wearing?"

The twins stood up straight and Dawa answered her sister, "It was what Ling was fingering when we were choosing what to have him wear."

Because of this issue, all of the sisters were engrossed in the conversation except for Ling, who was now being held properly by Una. If they looked at the kid, they would see him pouting as if understanding that his sisters were lying.

"I don't believe you guys. Besides, this dress is too hot for him to wear outside."

Una was used to her younger sisters' pranks. If the other three of her sisters didn't need her earlier this morning for their exams, she would have taken care of Ling first. Their mother was still in bed and their father got up before sunrise so she can't depend on them. 

The twins still kept insisting that they were not lying. Tired of being ignored, Ling pulled a few strands of Una's hair and put it in his mouth. That got his sister's attention.

The village's girls' hair were kept long and unbound or, sometimes, braided as per tradition. It was said that having a longer hair would enhance one's affinity to the 'touch' as it lets the body absorb more of the 'mist' in the atmosphere.

Because they got up earlier and she took care of her younger sisters first, Una left her hair unbound, the black absorbing the heat of the sun and a few sweat from her scalp. Ling was really upset today so when he tasted the salty hair, he frowned but was still not noticed by his sister so he started to cry.

Good thing his sisters became aware of him then and Una comforted the baby before the noise made the people notice. This stopped the current argument and they proceeded to leave the school grounds to go back to their house.

As they were walking, they were often greeted by the villagers they passed by, but not only because they were the chief's children. Una was always at the top of her age class and she was the one who deals with the house needs with the other villagers since their mother was abed.

The twins were not only known for their pranks but were also active in their class. A lot of people also expects more from the other siblings.

When they reached their home, they saw their mother leaning on the door frame talking to an old lady with too many wrinkles showing on her face, indicating her age. However, Old Lady Burha, the village midwife was still able to walk steadily on her own, her constitution better than those her age.

"Mahina, you know you're still weak so you don't have to send me to the door," the midwife scolded.

Despite her personality being meek, Mahina had always been stuborn so there was not much of an argument.

"Take note of what I suggested. You already have a son so we can stop your ability to have children. If you get pregnant again, we don't know how difficult the childbirth will be. It might get even worse than now."

Mahina frowned and attempted to reply but her children chose that time to call out to them.

"Mother, we're home. Good afternoon, Old Lady Burha."

The conversation of the two adults stopped with that, so the children wouldn't hear, but Una managed to glean bits of information from afar. When the old lady left, the family went to the garden to get the ingredients for their dinner tonight.

All houses in the village have their own gardens for their daily food needs. Most of the produce from the fields were for trade to help sustain the buildings and public facilities and support some families with less powers.

To help in the harvesting, Una put down Ling on a bench just a little ways away from the garden then proceeded to help. The garden includes most of the usual vegetables available in this island. There were potatoes, onions, garlic, carrots and others.

A short time later, while the girls were still busy, they heard a sweet giggle coming from the bench. They smiled, thinking that Ling wanted to join their 'fun' or was laughing at them.

When they turned, they saw a large, gray dog rubbing its nose on Ling's belly, smelling the bundle. Waving his tiny hands, Ling was still giggling as if ticklish then the dog suddenly sneezed. That made the baby giggle harder.

The scene would have made anybody feel horrified and amazed. After that, however, Ling wasn't happy when the dog averted its face after sneezing. Rolling to position himself, he crawled to touch the nose of the dog. 

"Cowd!" Ling said and acted as if shivering.

Seemingly just escaping from her daze, Una shook her head and was about to stand up to go save Ling. The dog looked at them when it noticed her movement, then bit the ribbons and frills at the back of Ling's dress and ran off carrying the still giggling baby.

Una reacted fast and ran after the two. She knew it will be impossible for her to catch up if the chase went longer but her mother and sisters will surely ask for help.

The bad thing was that the dog ran off to the forest, not passing by any houses or people. Una got a few scratches from the branches but she pushed through since she could still hear Ling's shouts and laughter.

"Ya-ya!"

After a while, Una was losing her energy to continue the chase. Meanwhile, the dog turned from the path and stopped. Standing in front of it was a man. Seeing the dog with a giggling baby on its back, he crouched then took and held the baby while rubbing the dog's head.

Una, meanwhile, just caught up to them. Panting while propping her hand on a tree trunk for support, she stared at the dog first then the man holding her brother.

The man stared at her, surprised, then talked to the dog, "Osa, I thought I told you to help me find the old village, not find a kid and," he paused and looked at the bundle in his arms, "food?"

The world previously ravaged by conflicts was now peaceful. However, it was nature's will that would cause more deaths for a small village in a remote island.

Just as he was trying to summon his dragon armor suit, he could feel that something was stopping him from doing it.

Mori was shocked because he found out he could summon his armor suit, but it seems like some invisible force is stopping him from doing it. He was wondering what that was but didn't look further into it because he had to test other things.

Mori then tried to summon his gourd bottle. He successfully summoned it but he couldn't open it, he was surprised and was now wondering why he couldn't open it. He also discovered that he couldn't control yeoui, he couldn't even lift it because of how heavy it is. He unsummoned all the items, and started wondering again on how he could summon his old items. He was also wondering if he could gain his original power back. 

Just as he was wondering this Mori suddenly felt a wave of power inside him, this wave of power shocked him because he felt like he knew this power. He then let the power out, the second he did that he felt himself becoming stronger and he felt different. Mori was wondering what happened to him so went to a mirror to see what happened to his body.

Mori found a mirror and was shocked because he saw himself from the old world except that he was the size of a six year old. He had the headband that restrained his power in his old life, and he also saw that his eyes changed back to his old eyes, they were blue with a black cross in the place where the pupil was supposed to be. He felt weaker than when he was in his old life but he felt much stronger than what he was in this world.

He was even more shocked to find out he still had his Monkey King bloodline. The Monkey King bloodline gives him the ability to regenerate faster than most gods, he was also able to suppress other monsters, and it made him stronger. He was glad to have his Monkey King bloodline back even though it was weaker than it was but that was probably because it was sealed until his body could withstand the power. With the bloodline he had a chance to regain his original power.

Mori then went to eat something with his father, after finishing the food he was cleaning the plates when his father asked him.

"Little San do you want to become a spirit master?"

Mori then nodded, he wanted to see what this spirit master school could teach him because he wanted to know more about this world and how it worked. His father then sighed and said

"So in the end you still choose this path."

After that Mori went to his room and went sleep, the next day he woke up early and started to practice his martial arts that his grandfather had taught him, when Tang Hao woke up and saw this he was surprised because of the weird technique's that Mori was practicing, he was also surprised because he could find no weakness in Mori when he looked at him practice, he then asked

"Little San, where did you learn a martial arts like that!!"

Mori then responded saying

"Good morning father, I made this martial arts a couple years ago and started training it, why do you ask, is there something wrong with it??"

Tang Hao was then shocked because his son made a martial arts that is so perfect. He then said

" Nothing is wrong with it, I was just surprised at how good the martial arts is, you should definitely keep on practicing it"

Mori just nodded, and continued his day and after the day was over he went to sleep.

2 Months Later

(There was still one month till he had to go to school.)

Mori was practicing his martial arts for a few hours and then stopped to meditate, he used to wonder why his level couldn't get past ten, but his father then told him

(Flashback)

Once a spirit master reaches a bottleneck (every ten levels) he has to get a spirit ring, the quality of the spirit ring depends on the age of it, there are: 10 year olds (white), 100 year olds (yellow), 1,000 year olds (purple), 10,000 year (black), and , 100,000 year olds (red)."

Mori was surprised at this knowledge because back in his world the strongest gods could only live up to 10,000 years of age. He knew these creatures weren't stronger than gods because if they were this entire planet would have been destroyed a long time ago.

(Flashback End)

Mori still continued to cultivate even though he couldn't level up, because he didn't like to slack off, even for a day unless it was a vacation or a break.

Mori decided he would get a 100,000 year old beast or above for his first ring because he didn't want his first ring to be weak. He was training even more recently, because he didn't know how strong a 100,000 year old beast was and didn't want to die by angering it, he also didn't want use his god form to kill it unless it was necessary.(author note: every time his base form gets stronger his god form also gets stronger) one month from now he will be going to Nuoding academy and he wants to have his spirit ring before then.

Today Mori decided that he would go and search for his spirit ring in the great Star Dou Forest, he went to tell his father, his father agreed but only if he was careful, Mori then nodded and started to get ready to go to the the Star Dou Forest.

Mori finished packing and then started to go to the Star Dou Forest.

Mori arrived at the Star Dou Forest and started to go to the deeper parts of the Forest.
