Yep, just like the title suggest, this is a rant. But also an explanation as to why I chose to change some social norms in my story. First, let's talk about what's pissing me off. Recently, I came across a YouTube video, y'know, the kind that you see and go "oh, angry right wing ranting again". But this time, it was different. This time, the title of the video got my attention and I decided to check it out. And to say I was shocked, is an understatement.

Turns out, Netflix is releasing a new upcoming original movie, which I had never heard of, called Cuties. Probably cause it was an international movie from France. But, and this is the real kicker, the movie was about 11 year old girls, fu*king kids for crying out loud, TWERKING. Let me repeat that so it sinks in (and also cause webnovel might censor it): 11 YEAR OLD GIRLS joining a TW*RKING COMPETITION. That was the description of the movie. And the poster? Disgusting. Showing fu*king kids in provocative outfits in a disgustingly sex*al style that screams pedo. Even the title of the movie is sick. Now, I didn't exactly believe the YouTube video and did some research but guess what? It was all true. Worse, THE ACTORS ARE 11 YEAR OLDS TOO.

WTF is wrong with people? How can you make of movie of this? Why would you do that? I don't have kids, but my sisters do and I would never want those kids to do anything like that. Never. Not until they're 20 ... or 22. You get the idea. And this isn't because of some religious thing or whatever the fu*k Netflix said in response, it's just how degenerate how society is becoming; that we accept the sex*alization of children, of young girls.

And to be completely honest, I actually wanted to portray that in my story. How we accept these things, things that aren't right. Jason's relationship with Elizabeth when he was young and naive, teenagers becoming adults at the age of sixteen and having legally consensual s*x at the age of 14 instead of 16 ... it's just not right. (Jason's situation is a little different though. Not only is he never taught to be a child, he's also a reincarnated person, so he never acted like a child. Regardless, the consequences and effect of such a relationship is also apparent to even his psych, forget about a normal child).

And WTF man, why is there even a competition like this for kids? Which parent would even allow their kids to do this? To become targets for predators? I can't ... I don't know what to say. All I can ask of you is to go to the trailer Netflix released and downvote it. Show them that this is unacceptable. That we are better than this.

A little context before we begin: I'm a 16 year old girl and work as a waitress at a restaurant. There's a lot of other girls around my age who work as waitresses too. Each waitress/waiter has certain sections of tables to serve. 

Now let's begin. I haven't worked here for very long but I've worked here long enough to manage a section on my own. I'm fairly friendly with my coworkers so when one of the janitorial workers would make small talk with me I didn't think anything of it. He'd talk to me fairly often as I would often see him working in my section when I'd come out to clear tables. I figured it was pure coincidence.

I was taking a break in the back room eating my dinner when the janitor guy walked in and sat down at the table behind me. He once again made small talk, literally nothing super important, as I inhaled my pancakes. Then one of the other girls walked in and we began talking for a long while. The janitor left about five minutes into me and the other girls conversation and I, once again, didn't think anything of it. While I was cleaning up I thanked the girl for talking with me and she said; 

"Oh I just came in to make sure you weren't alone. No one should be alone with him." 

I later learned from the other teenage girls that the guy had a habit of pestering them, being generally creepy, and following them to their car while he was a middle aged man. I was freaked the fuck out of course and looking back, I am 80% sure the dude was following me around while I worked in 


He started running at us


I grew up in a smallish town, there was never much to do past 11 pm. So one night after a late movie got out a group of my friends and I decided to drive around and talk and tell stories. It was close to 11:30 pm. I was the only one with my license so I was driving with three of my friends (important to note we are all girls). 

We drove through the parking lot of the abandoned Toys-R-Us (rip), talking and blasting music and having as good a time as you can driving to different parking lots. Next I decided to go to the community center parking lot just down the road. 

Again, all was normal at first. There were plenty of lampposts and we had the windows down since it was the middle of summer and my shitty 20 year old car didn't like to have working air conditioning. 

That's when we saw the man in the parking lot. 

He was dressed in baggy, dark clothes and was pretty far from us, standing in the empty parking lot. I mean fully empty, it's a huge parking lot and we were the only car there. I didn't think anything of it, we weren't doing anything illegal, we didn't have curfew, I had had my license for over a year. 

He started walking towards us, I had stopped driving now and we were sitting in the parking lot watching him. I remember making my friends turn off the music and close the windows. He was still pretty far from us, I want to say 100 feet at least but I'm a bad judge of distance. 

Then, he started running. Not jogging but full on sprinting right towards us, kind of like that scene in Get Out? He was yelling something and sounded angry (Before anyone asks he wasn't a security guard, he got close enough to where it looked like he was wearing a hoodie and jeans, and he didn't have a vehicle or flashlight). 

We all started screaming and I put the car in drive and drove out of there as fast as I could. I don't know what that man wanted, who he was, but I'll never forget the primal fear I felt when he started running at full speed for my car. So, parking lot creep, let's NEVER meet, okay?

This is a story in every chapter is not the same horror is the main plot of the story’s but sometimes it will be a little different and don’t forgot I know what you did

"Oh, my mom's calling," Soo Ah said taking her phone with her picking up as she step out of the store.
"Yes mom?" Soo Ah answered.
"Where are you guys? We'll go and pick you up," her mom said over the phone.
"Oh no, it's okay. We'll come back to the restaurant," Soo Ah said and hangs up the phone call.
Soo Ah was about to go back inside when Min Jun came out with her things.
"Let's go, our parents are waiting. Here are your things," Min Jun said handing Soo Ah her purse.
"Thanks."
They ran back to the restaurant quickly.
"Min Jun, Soo Ah! There you are," Min Jun's mom said upon the sight of the two.
"Where were you guy?" Soo Ah's dad asked.
"Secret," Soo Ah said, "Mr. and Mrs. Nam, thank you for having dinner with us. We'll be off now." 
Soo Ah took her parents with her and went to their car which was waiting at the front of the restaurant.

"Soo Ah, Seol Hee, and Kyung Mi, come with me," said their dance coach. 
The three went out of their training room and followed behind.
"You've been chosen to be part of the company upcoming group, congratulations!" Their coach said as she opens the door to a meeting room, "wait here, your other team members are coming soon. Your manager as well." 
"Yes, thank you," the three girls said before taking a seat.
"I'm nervous," said Seol Hee.
"Me too, I wonder who the other members are," Kyung Mi saidz
"They're probably trainee from a different class," Soo Ah said.
"What if they're the male trainees? You know the rumor going around that the company will make a Co-Ed group," Kyung Mi said.
"Oh come on Kyung Mi, it's just a groundless rumor," Soo Ah said.
"Soo Ah got a point but you never know," Seol Hee added.
"Soo Ah, Seol Hee, and Kyung Mi right?" Said a female voice.
The three girls looked up.
"Hello, I'll be your manager from now on. My name is Yoon Sung Yeon, nice to meet you all," Sung Yeon said.
"Hello!" The three girl gave their manager a bow.
"The other members should be on their way with their manager. I'm sorry I made you guys wait," Sung Yeon said taking a seat next to the girls.
Before the they could say anything else,  the door to the meeting room open and a group of four other girls came in. A few moments later, a group of seven male trainees came into the room as well. One of those trainees were Min Jun.
"Hello, sorry for the wait," said the manager, "I'm Lim Chang Ho, the second manager."
"Alright, since everyone is here, let's do a brief introduction of each other. I'll start," said Sung Yeon, "I'm Yoon Sung Yeon, one of your manager. I'm 26 years old and I'm from Seoul."
"I'm Lim Chang Ho, your other manager. I'm 29 years old and I'm from Incheon."
"I'm Wang Shao Yue and I've been a trainee for 1 year and a half. I'm 17 years old and I'm from Bejing, China."
"I'm Kwon Jin Hyuk and I'm 16. I've been training for 2 years and I'm from Daegu."
"My name is Choi Seol Hee and I'm 15. I've been a trainee for 9 months and I'm from New York City, United States."
"I'm Moon Kyung Mi and I've been training for 3 years. I'm 16 years old and I'm from Seoul."
"I'm Yoo Kanghyun and I've been a trainee for 2 years and a half. I'm 18 years old and I'm from Singapore."

She doesn’t like keeping secrets, neither does he. But they had to, or else, their career would be over. But as more and more about them are known, as the secret gets bigger and bigger, it’ll become harder to lie.

So-Young walked in through the doors of the building and went up to the reception desk. "Excuse me, I am Kim So-Young. I have come for the auditions that are taking place today." The receptionist was a short and cute looking young woman. She was dazzled by looking at So-Young and couldn't answer her. "Hey pretty lady, could you please lead me to the auditions" said So-Young with a wink. The receptionist came out of her trance and told So-Young where the auditions were taking place. So-Young thanked her and walked down the corridor leading to the audition room.


The double doors were in front of her. Entering them would lead her one step closer to her dream. The thought made her both nervous and excited. 'Deep breaths So-Young you got this.' She took one last look at the intimidating doors and opened them. On the other side of the doors were the rest of the girls auditioning. Many of them were warming up. Some were stretching, others were singing. There was an atmosphere of energy. So-Young made her way to a corner where there were less people and begun warming up too.


Fifteen minutes later, a staff member came up on the stage and announced the beginning of the auditions. The girls lined up according to their audition number and were called in one-by-on into a room full of judges. No-one knew who the judges were. The first round of the audition would be where they perform a solo where they could display their rapping and singing skills. They would e judged according to their charisma,looks and potential.


After waiting for about an hour, it was finally So-Young's turn to perform. Her palms were sweaty and her heart was beating out of her chest. She took a moment to calm down and went inside the room. The room was brightly lit up and she could see the faces of the judges. They were none other than the CEO and of YG Entertainment Yang Hyun-suk, Kwon Jiyong or Gdragon -the future leader of the band BIGBANG that was going to debut in a year and Young-bae or Taeyang- the vocalist of the future band BIGBANG.


So-Young was stunned after seeing them. BIGBANG's members were right in front of her. She felt like rushing up to them and asking for an autograph but, she needed to calm down. After calming down, she knew she couldn't act rashly. The members had yet to debut and asking for an autograph would be suspicious as they had not released any music.


So, she calmly walked to the middle of the room and said, "I am Kim So-Young. Age 11. Last year of high school." The three judges were baffled. They couldn't believe that a 11 year old would be in the last year of 'high' school. Yang Hyun-suk asked her, "Are you saying that you are in you last year of high school at the age of 11?"


"Yes. I had skipped a lot of grades in between." So-Young replied with a straight face. If she did this on her own she would be proud of it. Considering her past life, her skipping so many grades was not a great achievement. But, to others, this was a huge deal. She was 5 years ahead of her peers. Even G dragon was baffled. He had also just passed out of high school. He was getting curious about this girl.


Despite them wanting to ask more questions to the girl, the knew it was not the time. There were other people waiting to audition and time was limited. So, they asked So-Young to perform her song.

Bigbang... BTS.... Blackpink.... Astro... Exo... So many k-pop bands and idols... What will she do when she is thrown into the mix?

She was wearing a simple cotton t-shirt, casual jeans, and a pair of flat sandals. She was a very casual woman. When she stood next to Gu Chenchen, who was full of jewelry, it could be said that one was in the sky and the other was on the ground How should we go for coffee?

These women were just as strong or stronger than they were.
