a book where you can shamefully promote yours or others novels.....I'm just someone who likes to read and am open to suggestions no judgment I will read bout anything and also hope to spread the love of reading by doing this....so basically this will be a 1ch book with 1 Tag per line and basically just suggest novels that include that tag that you've read that's it....

The first page was the title page, empty and white as snow, with only these eight words written in dark ink. They were abnormally vivid, such that anyone who opened this book would not be able to miss them.

If a normal person were to open this book, they would assuredly begin to carefully consider what sort of meaning was hidden in these words. Then, with an understanding of these eight words, they would continue to read. But Chen Changsheng was different from the rest. He did not turn to the next page, instead standing up and walking to the bookshelves, seeking out several other books on Purification. After quickly flipping through them, he realized that the title pages of all these books also contained these eight words. The primary topics of these chapters were how to nurture the spiritual sense, search for one's Fated Star, and how to draw starlight into the body.

He needed only one hour to finish reading it. He then closed the books, closed his eyes, and began to think.

After a dozen or so breaths, he opened his eyes, opened the book once more, and began to read.

He needed even less time to finish than the first. In the time needed for several incense sticks to burn, he had finished reading.

He then once more closed his eyes to contemplate the contents of the books.

After a few breaths of time, he opened his eyes and began to read once more.

As he repeated this procedure, the sunlight spilling in from the window was as fierce as ever.

He closed On Purification for the last time and opened it no more.

He took out a brush and ink and, without opening the book, began to record from the memories in his mind his thoughts from his readings.

It didn't take long before the paper was densely covered in words.

The instant he placed the brush on the inkstone, all the contents of On Purification were remembered in his mind like they had been carved in stone.

Crucially, this was not rote memorization, but true understanding.

This was Chen Changsheng's reading method.

This method was very special, the precious treasure he and Senior Yu Ren had obtained after ten-odd bitter years of reading books. Although the old temple of Xining Village did not seem very remarkable, the books contained within were as boundless as the sea. On the contrary, the more books one read and the more times one read them, the stronger the soul would become, yet it would still be unable to break through that thin layer of paper. When the spiritual sense was finally condensed, only this sort of spiritual sense could truly be called powerful.

If someone could read all forty-nine books on the back cover of On Purification one hundred times before finally condensing their spiritual sense, then when they drew starlight into their bodies to undergo Purification, they had a chance of reaching the level of perfection. But this sort of situation was incredibly rare. Other than those lucky enough to be born with incredible innate talent, it was basically impossible.

This was a very stimulating process. As time passed, as the number of books and the number of times one read them gradually increased, one could anticipate becoming a genius with a powerful spiritual sense, but there was also a high chance that one could ultimately fail at condensing the spiritual sense and be resigned to the life of an ordinary person.

Hope and disappointment would continuously increase over this process, ultimately becoming a gamble of epic proportions. No one knew the result of this gamble. Only after reading those books, one hundred times each, would the result appear on its own.

Several thousand years later, the fourteen years old orphan Chen Changsheng left his master to cure his illness and change his fate. He brought a piece of marriage vow with him to the capital, thus began the journey of a rising hero.


At the entrance of the library, the left side was for depositing your bags, as no bags or backpacks were allowed in the library. The right side was a map of the library. Facing the entrance was an information desk.  
As numerous temperate glasses were installed in the outer wall, the lighting was excellent inside the library. Looking up at the ceiling, the library had an atrium structure, spiraling up like a tower. 　　
Meng Li pointed at the map, and introduced to Zhang Zian, "Counting the ancient books, the renovated Binhai City Library holds more than 2 million books, and the number is growing. It's the biggest library in our province, and one of the biggest in the country. The library has one floor underground, and five floors above ground. The underground floor is used to preserve ancient copies, with controlled temperature and humidity. It's not open for public. You need certain credentials and reference letters to be allowed inside." 　　
Zhang Zian was troubled after hearing this. Evidently, the Hall of the Ancient Books was where the elfin was most likely to appear. Maybe one of the books was written by the ex-owner of the elfin, or the elfin was first mentioned in one of the books, or some book was related to the elfin in some way…but there was nothing he could do. He had neither the credentials nor a reference letter. Entering the Hall of the Ancient Books was as hard as going to the moon. Not to mention that cellphones were definitely not allowed inside.　　
"Can I visit the other floors freely?" He asked.　
Meng Li nodded. "The other floors are fine. We are standing on the first floor, with bag deposit, information desk, cafe, lecture room and the youth library. You can get a library card and other services at the information desk. The youth library is only open to teenagers and children under 16."

The readers searching for books among the shelves thought that the filming Zhang Zian was either doing an online broadcast or some novel profession, such as a vlogger. There were too many of those these days. Nobody talked to him.　　
There were a lot of shelves, but it only took 20 minutes to finish the search if he followed a specific order. Zhang Zian came back to the starting point after making a huge circle, finding nothing.

But for Robin from the first day everytime he finishes reading a book, he felt like his reading skills are improving rapidly. So he continuously read, even when some books were repetitive. 

From the books Robin came to understand about the geographical location of the CELTIC. It isn't much different from what before Peter to him. But there was something different about the cultivation levels from what Peter has said. Peter just told him basic realms. But for every realm, they are further divided in to three levels- low level, mid level and high level. For example, Robin is now an 
Begginer Assassin-Low level. 
Then comes 
Begginer Assassin- mid level and 
Begginer Assassin- high level. 

Now he understands why it took seventy years for Peter to reach Grand Realm. But Robin doesn't know whether Peter is in Grand realm low level, mid level or high level.

But he knows the level difference from low level to high level is greater. 

And most important is longevity of life. A Begginer realm can live for hundred years. And it's gets doubled as your realm increases. 

' A Mystic realm can live for 3200 years'

Robin reading speed didn't increase after reading two thousand books that is on the tenth day. For five days, he read one thousand books. But as he finished total of three thousand books. He felt like a new skill is unlocked within him. 

After that, his reading skill entered a new realm. His reading skill increased into fast reading.

Robin finished reading five thousand books in ten days.

And Robin knew what dress color she meant. So that has become his motivation for completing the assignment. 

As Robin was thinking about these things with a lewd smile on his face, he heard Peter's voice,

Robin said, flushed.

After they left Robin grinned to himself,

Then Robin closed the door of the library and sat down. But he didn't read the books. Instead he wanted to do something that he has been waiting for 20 days or to say for 5 years. 

It was about the artifact, Angel gave him. After he entered this world, he tried lot of times to call for the LIMITLESS ARTIFACT  but it didn't respond to him. But after reading the books he came to an understanding before 20 days. That artifact only react upon magic. And after only reaching Begginer Realm a person can produce magic. So that was the reason why the artifact didn't respond to him before. 

As for the reason why he didn't try it out, after knowing about this is because of Peter and Maria. Those guys will definitely find him using the artifact, Angel gave him. And he can't explain to them how he got the artifact. So he waited to be alone and try it out. 

' Now is the right time '

Then he tried to reach out to the LIMITLESS ARTIFACT, as felt the connection to the artifact, a black light enveloped him..... Robin can't feel a thing.... 
 He blanked out.....

I closed my journal and stared at the door, it took one hour and with no one entering I put on my reading glasses and started reading on the books that I gave them. While yes I have the knowledge of all the books in the library, I myself am still just a sentient being, even I get bored which leads to just reading more books.

Today I would study the principles behind the success of Early-Term Off World Trade Companies and How to Manage Them, by Marrakech The Emperor of Wealth (1'st Edition). It seems this species didn't have last names as they were replaced by titles which were given as signs of power.

As I was reading it was four hows before I could close shop and I was already a quarter way in when the doors opened.


I looked up only to see a middle-sized man, though he was smaller than me, he stood at about 5'3, he was covered with feathers and instead of feet had 3 long... toes? I near-immediately recognized this race without the need of the library to inform me. They were in most universes called Avians as they resembled birds but were actually sentient creatures with high thought capabilities.

He was wearing basic cloth clothes with leather shorts and a backpack, while he also had what seemed to be a scanner in his front left claw. His two large eyes looked around and near immediatly saw me.


As he walked to the counter I put down my reading glasses and put a marker on the book page I was on.


" Do you happen to know where I am, Sir? "


With a smile, " You are in the Lonely Library. A place of infinite knowledge and information, anything you can wish for can be found here. "


" Anything...? " The avian's eyes seemed to glow at this, he was handling the encounter well.


" Yes, any knowledge can be found in this library. "


He found himself a seat and put it in front of the desk, " If I can find anything here, then who are you? "


" I am the Librarian of this library. " I gave a nod and a smile.


" Then can I find a book on decryption of ancient languages? "


I nodded as a book floated over, " This is what you are looking for. "


And sitting it infront of him I did, once he left I never saw him again, this happened with many people for the next year.

She had eyes like beads and yet I couldn't look away, I thought I had already seen it all, from old to young, but a little girl walked in through that door.


She looked at me and I will never forget that look, " Where am I? "


I was stunned, halted, briefed, shocked? No, I was confused, the innocence of the question, she had no fear, I doubt she knew of it, she just accepted that she wasn't where she was before.


" You... are in the Library. "


She walked up to the desk, I immediately called over a stool which she plopped herself on.


" Do you have lots of books here ? " She asked me while looking up, I chuckled at such a thought, does this library have lots of books? It wouldn't be my library if it didn't.


" Yes, we have lots of books here " I nodded.
" What kind of books do you like? " I was stunned, once again the first time as my day's as a librarian, this child had stunned me, no one ever asked that question before, they came and went, some were shocked when they came through that door, some accepted there days here till they found what they want, yet none had ever returned, they all came and yet no one ever asked me anything even as remotely personal as this...


" What, kind of books do I like? " She nodded at my question.
" I like books about people. " She seemed to enjoy my answer and giggled.


" Do you have any books for me? " She questioned me.


" I... I.. Ha... Yes I do. " I stood up, and started walking through the infinite rows of books, rarely did I do this anymore as people were just coming and going getting books it felt... incomplete.


" Do you perhaps know what kind of books you would like? " I asked.


She shaked her head, " No, I don't get to read books often, I just like to read. "


She seemed to be from a place with a small amounts of books then.


I grabbed some books off the shelf once I reached a certain place, they were all books on establishing relations, things like the art of the trade, and how to garner trust. While yes they were all common books, in the end, a library cant claim to have all the knowledge in the universe(s) if they don't even have this.


I walked back to the main hall and put them at a visitor table. " These are for you. "


She smiled, " Whats your name? "
I looked at her and thought about it then said,


" I have no name, I'm just the Librarian. "
She stared at me, " Oh... well you can call me Li ! "
I nodded my head, " What a wonderful name. "
" You should start reading, you don't want to waste to much time in here " I smiled
She quickly nodded and started reading, she seemed to enjoy reading and absorb knowledge like a sponge. I slowly went and sat at my desk but.. I could help but watch her read, she was fun to talk to.


In a few hours I had slowly spaced out and soon a loud bang happened near me and I jumped,
" Huh, What? "
It was the girl who plopped down all those books on my desk as she smiled.
" You finished all ready? That's great. " I smiled.


She looked up at me and said some words I wont forget,
" Librarian, why do you look so lonely? "
I looked at her and thought deeply about it,
" Because, while my body doesn't age and I may just be a entity made by the library.. "


" My heart still ages.. "


With that she smiled back at me,
" Promise me you'll never be lonely again Mr.Librarian "
I looked at her and laughed, this was the first visitor I made a real connection with and it was a little girl.. more worried about a stranger she just met in the last few hours than greedy for the knowledge of this library.


With that the doors opened and I frowned just a bit but hid it with a smile,
" It seems you can return now, take this key and visit me in a few years when you show the world your kindness. "


She skipped off after that... I wonder if I'll ever meet her again..


I sadly, couldn't promise her to never be lonely again... because in the end, this is a lonely library.

A man sits in a library that is easy to get lost in, connected to many worlds, and even universes, you may ask yourself why is he the only employee, or is he the owner? 
No one owns such a library, but he does have many titles depending who you ask; A friend, magi, tendant, library manager, librarian, the saint of the library, mystic, devil of knowledge. 
Many worlds, many people will meet him, and yet it is still such a small number when compared to how many people there are with a possibility to access to the library.

I could see that she felt bad for saying something rude to me, because knowing my circumstances, these words may hurt my feelings. She is a nice girl with a kind heart.
"Nothing to ask forgiveness for." I smiled at her.
"I..."
"I know you said it without bad intentions, so no need to worry about it! Anyway, how do you feel about school so far."
She visibly relaxed after my words and we started talking about school and she told me interesting things she read. I, being an old wise man, was smart enough to be a good listener, so I got a huge ton of information for free. 
Of course, we talked not only about Hogwarts and magic, I asked her where she is from and about her family. Apparently, her family was normal people without magic, or how they call it here - muggles. Her parents were dentists and were living in London. I knew the muggles part but did not know her parents were dentists. They were very accepting of her identity as a witch. 
Mostly, she was talking. I was never an active part of the dialog. At some point, I caught myself on the thought that she is really open with a stranger, but then I understood that it is probably a speech buff that makes me look like a very good friend, who she can speak with. It is a great opportunity to actually become her friend!
We spoke for approximately 15 minutes when other people started coming in. When people, started converging, I remembered the problem of the schedule, so I asked Hermione about it. 
"Do you know when will we receive the schedule for lessons? Or did I somehow miss it?"
"No, Percy said that Professor McGonagall will distribute it at the breakfast. Which lesson do you want to attend the most?"
"Honestly, all of them. New knowledge is always great, especially this type of knowledge."
'And new skills are even better!'
"I am the same." She answered.
"Since I never knew of this world before coming here, I am very fascinated by every little thing in this school! This is why I enjoy talking with you so much because you told me so many interesting things!"
She reddened a little bit and smiled.
"You are always welcome to talk."
"The first day and already got a friend. I am so happy! When do you think, will we go to the great hall?"
She seemed especially happy when I said about a friend. 
I can't stop being fascinated with the power of the very high speech. What will it be like when speech will reach 90 or even 100? Just by saying something casual I will be able to control people around me, huh? 
Let's stop dreaming! After all, Hermione is still a kid, so maybe speech works better on her. Can't be sure. 
'System, how much more time will buff be in effect?'
[Buff was provided for 24 hours.]
So, it will expend tonight, huh? Well, shouldn't be too greedy here.
"I think after all will be here. Then prefect will lead us there."
"Prefect?"
"Yeah, Percy is a prefect."
"Really? Didn't know about that."
'Who the heck are prefects? Anyway, doesn't matter.'
"First-years! Please come here. Are all first-years here?" 
At that moment I heard Percy's shout. Apparently, we will be going out.
We stood up and together went after Percy in line. Once more road till the great hall was confusing, always changing and fascinating.
After some walking, going up and down the stairs, our group has reached the hall and taken a seat at the Gryffindor table. Because I and Granger walked close to each other, we sat together. 
Like last time, food magically appeared at the table in a few minutes, but this time I was able to witness it with my own eyes and honestly, I was fascinated, but the matter still remained a mystery to me. Food just appeared on the table. No mystic lights or special sounds. No special effects at all.
Students of older years started converging as well. We had a good breakfast and I have finished my food very fast.
Soon, Professor McGonagall came to give us the schedule of lessons and a map of Hogwarts. The first lesson will be history. After asking the time from nearby people and checking with the schedule I had 3 hours until the first lesson. 
I really wanted to go to the library to read some books and check them with the inventory. Maybe just reading them will give some skills or maybe there are some interesting books. Like books of spells or something of a similar sort. Plus, I can read my own books in peace and quiet. 
I decided to ask Granger if she wants to go with me and she agreed. To save us time I did something, some kids would consider embarrassing, but to me with adult mentality it was nothing. 
I came to senior students and said:
"Hello, my name is Magnus. I am in the first year and want to go to the library, right now. Is anyone of you going to go there, so that we can tag along."
'Show me da way!'
"Well, I am not going there, but one of my lessons will be not far from there, so I can lead you there."
"Thank you very much."
"Name's Oliver Wood, by the way."
"Happy to meet you. I will wait till you finish breakfast and then we can go."
"No need, I will go to the bathroom on our way to quickly go wash my hands."
"That's great cause I also needed to wash my hands."
'And brush my teeth. I mean how can those people eat so much and then just go do some stuff. I always brush my teeth after food. Am I strange here or am I strange overall? Well, whatever.'
** 30 minutes later ** 
"Thank you very much for leading us here!"
"No problems. See you and have a nice first day."
"Have a nice day as well. See you"
Now I know the approximate road from the hall to the bathroom and then to the library. Why approximate? Because this school changes itself like mad! Stairs move, paintings change, armor walks away, some roads may even disappear! Nothing is certain when it comes to the path in this school. 
Anyway, the library was magnificent and had thousands of various books. I picked the first book on the first shelf. It was about wand making. Then I found a place to sit and started reading. Hermione was still looking for something interesting to read and after finding a book she liked she sat near and delved into reading as well. 
I read and read. I did not really try hard to understand everything that was written, but I wasn't rushing to finish it either. I was just reading it for the sake of reading and of course as an experiment if reading gives anything. 
I did not want to experiment with putting a book into the inventory and checking if I can 'Use' it for now. Who knows what charms put onto the books... Hopefully, later.
I have no idea how much time I spent reading, but soon I heard notification and saw the next message.
『 Studying 15 ➔ 16 』
That is the skill? I will check it in the evening, now it can be a bit risky to stand dazed, looking at skills. I mean, I don't know how I will look at that moment, in the eyes of others. Therefore, I just continued reading. 
After reading approximately 70 pages in the book, I decided to check what time it is. I asked my companion if she has a way to check the time.
"I heard 2 bell chimes, so it should be around one hour or a bit more since we have entered the library. Plus, half-an-hour we spent getting here, hour and a half left till the lesson."
Bells! Crap, I did not even pay attention to those sounds going off in distance. My mind does not even consider them useful. After all, as a person who came from an age when time is literally written on everything around you, you become unaccustomed to these old ways of tracking time. Now I need to pay more attention to that. 
Anyway, we can read until one more bell chime, then we need to get to the lesson, using the map. Knowing how hard it is to navigate here, we better get earlier, than rush and get lost.
"Then after next bell chime, we can start going to the next lesson. After all, I am unsure of navigating through this school. What do you think?"
"Yeah, I agree. One hour should be enough to get there. Actually, can we borrow books?"
"It is a library, so I think we can. But I will ask, don't worry"
I went and asked the librarian and after many promises, a note and usage of the high speech she permitted borrowing, but we have to return it till vacation. I agreed with that, told Hermione about this and continued reading.
This time I heard, when the bell ringed and told about it to Hermione. Then, we stood up and took books to borrow. She took one book, while I took 3 books out of here. I pick books in order anyway and don't really care about what information they contain.
** 50 minutes later ** 
Finally, we reached this place and that is only thanks to my companion. Without her, I would have been lost till night probably. Does she have a compass or something?
In any case, history was boring. Plus, ghost teacher for history? And he is still so boring, having all that time behind his shoulders? However, I attentively listened to everything, but mostly we were just memorizing dates, names, and places.
After the lesson, I returned to the library to continue reading with my new friend. She was enchanted by all the lessons it seems, no matter how boring they are. As long as it brings knowledge. She is amazing, indeed.
** In the evening **

After finishing the first book, I received those 2 notifications. Honestly, this level up was earlier than I expected, but I think I got a new level up so soon because I raised speech so often. So, it seems the higher the skill raises, the more experience it gives out, which makes sense. Harder to get, better the prize.
In any case, I put the book back at its place. And picked my 2 other chosen books with me, before going to the dormitory. Granger decided to finish her studies for today as well, so we both went to rest.
As soon as I got to my room, I locked the door, lied on the bed and said 2 words, I was waiting to say for so long.
'Skills progress'

Seems like the time has come for another party to begin. Let's hope this one will be a success. World - Potterian. Person - random.

Met truck-kun. Obviously died. Nobody survives after fateful meeting with him.
Afterwards, I was reborn in the different world with the system from my favorite game! However, there was a catch - I had negligible amount of knowledge about this universe.

I open my eyes and see [You were caught during unauthorized entrance into a magic academy!] 
"Oh cmon... System, do you really need do this every time? Now... what will I do?" 
[Pick a race]
"..."

Immediately after the lunch meeting, Zero and Merlin travelled back to the tower quickly, eager to continue their work. Zero quickly picked up books and activated golems while going into his meditative mood. Merlin decided to catch up on his reading as well. Zero's spare golems had written a pile of notes regarding the boy's understanding of qi and chaos energy. Both master and student worked hard trying to catch up to each other.
Merlin didn't let Zero idle and taught Zero the sequence of books he had to read. Zero glanced over some of the books and asked Merlin if they were already scanned into the reading device's library. Some of the titles looked similar.
The wizard god couldn't be sure of it. Steve did give him the option to convert all his tomes into a more convenient format but after converting a hundred or so books, the magician decided to abandon the project. He still preferred the feel of bound paper in his hands.
"I'll leave the task of updating them into the library to you," Merlin said and Zero agreed.
The young doctor had another task that he wanted to do simultaneously while reading the library. He has five spare golems stationed in Merlin's tower library and another five working on the books in the forbidden library. In the mindscape, the information overload was real.
"Pass the pen, stack those books on the third shelf. No, We need to expand the section, move!" Mii hollered from her desk. Zero was doing everything he could as Mii's assistant while coping with the strange feeling of having new knowledge pour into his brain every second. Wii was also given her personal office to help coordinate the other Parallel Minds that were working hard at information gathering.
Thanks to Merlin's tips, Zero discovered that Wii can level up without going through the quest system that Mii was limited to. The eggplant fairy simply had to continuously perform arithmetic of increasing difficulty to increase her mental power and ability to control her duplicates. Right now, Wii was able to control up to twenty duplicates but Zero didn't want to use all twenty duplicates to gather information in the real world. He had ten doing that by possessing the spare golems, five working on Arithmetic with Wii and coordinating the information collected while the other five acted as Mii's assistants alongside Zero who was still getting the hang of it.
Zero's aim was to create ideas for the grimoire that Merlin wanted him to make. It has to be a magic that was unique only for him. A grimoire was every magician's lifeline. Once that grimoire is destroyed, the magician loses all their powerful spells. Some grimoires are tied to their owner's soul, others are tied to their owner's hearts. Most grimoires that weren't created by humans belonged to a demon who would reap the summoner's soul as offering or feed on their life energy in exchange for lending them power.
"I don't have anything to offer to a grimoire to give it power," Zero sighed. His research in the mindscape wasn't progressing well at all. Mii and Wii's yelling didn't help him concentrate either.
"Ugh!" Zero groaned as another sharp pain pierced his mind. With Wii's help, the work is definitely progressing smoother on Mii's end. Unfortunately, there was only one Zero and having so many tomes crammed into his head at the same time often caused the teen to be rendered paralysed for a while. The pain of having so much new information entering his head within such a short period of time can be hard to cope with.
"Are you ok?" Wii asked from the third floor.
"What's the pain like from the scale of one to ten? One like a paper cut and ten having an arm cut off?" Mii asked.
Zero groaned and tried to lift his head from his desk with much difficulty. "Eight... what did you girls do?"
Wii looked sorry and Mii felt guilty. "Sorry, we simply synced all the newly scanned books from the reading device to your library. It's faster this way. Wii can work on processing the information at leisure and you can recall anything that needs recalling. We prioritised grimoire-making materials."
Zero groaned again, the headache still not leaving him. It was true. The girls really added the entire reading device's content into his head and information just couldn't stop flooding into his mind. Unable to move, Zero could only lay there in pain and wait for the overload of information to complete. Unknown to him, the amount of information input wasn't stopping. When ten books were synced, Zero's mind was made to process a hundred more.
In the forbidden library, Merlin had created a spell to help his student read faster. All spare golems were equipped with a speed reading spell similar to his famous speed-reading glasses. They now scanned things faster too and Merlin welcomed the abuse of mana in his tower. These golems were really handy and Merlin couldn't imagine what it would be like to have ten more household golems like Bib to maintain his library, lab and business.
Zero found it odd. He was beginning to see many new things despite the splitting headache. Suddenly, he knew things he never knew before. Each minute that passed made him wonder if it would ever stop. From necromancy to summoning, the subjects of his studies were making no sense. Even if Zero was able to understand the contents of whatever that had been scanned and read, he was still struggling to know how they can be applied to grimoire-making.
Wii and Mii gasped in horror as the books started piling on the floor.
"What's going on?" Wii asked her older sister.
The strawcherry fairy didn't have time to respond. In order to prevent an accident, she had turned to Wii with seriousness in her eyes."I'm going to find Lily and take over the system for a while. It looks like three floors won't be enough. Make sure that the books don't fall on Zero before I'm back!"
Wii didn't have any time to react before her sister disappeared. From the first floor, she could hear her master groan in pain. At the same time, she could feel that something was wrong with the other cloned libraries. Perhaps it was better to stop for a while and consolidate all their materials before continuing. At this rate, there wouldn't be enough space to put all these copied books in Zero's mindscape!
"Dispel clones! Parallel Minds, gather!"
The ten cloned librarians stopped working and gathered at the office that Wii's original self was at in order to help with the administrative matters that were starting to pile badly from the syncing of all ten libraries.
Mii hurried over to where Lily was and demanded to create ten floors for Zero's mindscape library. At the rate that Zero was learning, they needed a lot of room. Zero wasn't even done with a third of Merlin's books. They wouldn't survive it without enough space.
"Sorry, Mii. The system says that Zero's current capacity is five floors," the flower fairy apologised and Mii cursed.
"Let's make it five floors then. Once there are enough resources to expand the library in size or height, let me know. I'll head back now!"
Lily assured the busy assistant that she will look after Zero's mental state from the back end and Mii left in a hurry.
Wii was relieved to see that there were two additional floors to sort the books out. She got to work immediately without waiting for her sister. It didn't matter if the categorisation was wrong, right now, it was more important to get all the books off the floors and onto shelves. the clones worked efficiently and with the books put away, the cloned libraries were able to slowly disappear.
Mii returned to find everything returning back to order with the exception of Zero who was still clutching his head in pain with a huge frown. The teen groaned again when Wii's clones started shelving a new stack of books. Mii felt sorry for the young doctor. Every book that they shelved in the mindscape library was directly linked to Zero's mind. With Wii's rate of processing books from the Parallel Minds and copying them over to Zero's main mind, the stress was more than enough to cripple an ordinary person. Wii wasn't merciful with shelving the copied books either. Each cloned librarian assistant threw in at least three books at a time and there were at least ten working on shelving the pile of books that had been transcribed into a common language for Zero's easier reference. Mii still hasn't gotten to sorting the books by categories or making notes for Zero'seasier understanding and reference.
"Astrology?" Zero groaned in pain. "Why is there astrology in Merlin's library? Mii, Wii... what are both of you reading?"
Mii didn't answer Zero, too busy organising the new books while Wii smiled in apology. "It's something from the reading device and not Merlin's library. It appears as if your mind is also syncing the entire library from your reading device as we speak."
Zero paled. "Re-reading device? Steve said that there were at least a million books in there from stories to research journals... you're not serious, right?"
Mii dropped the book she was holding. "What?"
Wii stared at both of them with a confused look. "Was I not supposed to sync that? We finally found a way to sync the books to the reading device. I thought that if we were going to go for a reading marathon, we might as well do it thoroughly now before the training ends. Besides, master could take some inspiration from other materials to create his very own unique magic and grimoire."
Mii couldn't fault Wii for her analysis but did she have to do it now? Zero's mindscape wouldn't hold a few million books at this stage, they were going to be in trouble.
"Can you cancel the syncing of the reading device's library and solely focus on the books in Merlin's library for now? Lily told me that the system couldn't make more than five floors worth of shelving space."
Zero let out a sharp scream as a new genre entered his mind.
"Folk tales and music? Why is this here...? Mii! Wii! Do something!"
Panicked, Wii immediately got to work and tried to stop the syncing of Zero's mind with the magic device.
"I'm so sorry, master! I'm afraid it's too late... the syncing cannot be cancelled at this point. I have stopped the spare golem from reading anything more, everything else that is being processed now is from the reading device... Thousand apologies!"
Mii inhaled deeply and closed her eyes, trying to find inner peace in the chaos of Zero's writhing and Wii's tears.
"There's no helping it. Wii, gather your assistants and help me search for the books with memory increasing functions. We need to prioritise learning those first to help Lily increase the system's capacity to expand the mindscape. After that, search for ways to borrow the void to throw all the unprocessed books for a while. We need to get through Merlin's library first. The rest can be sorted through later."
Wii obeyed quickly and gathered all but five of her assistants who were in charge of shelving new books. They searched through quickly the job queues for anything related to memory increasing techniques and worked on them. Under Mii's careful guidance, the headache lessened and Zero was finally able to focus.
"Wait, what? Mythical creatures and where to find them? Why's this even a subject?!" Zero yelled when the colourful images of rainbows and gory pictures of severed human limbs dangling from a beast's jaw startled him from his thoughts.
"Sorry master!" Wii's clone shouted from the seventh floor now. "It's one of the books we're still shelving."
Zero sighed. With so much reading to do, how could he make any progress with his magic and grimoire?

The entrance led straight to the village square, Rastel saw different races of humans, dwarves, beastmen, elves and even a few draconians, but mostly humans, there were a lot of humans.
The square also served as a market place as many people were going about buying and selling with stalls set up. Among the populace, he could recognize the players by the green arrow suspended above their heads. Players accounted for a substantial amount of the village's population.
The first thing he needed was spells. The system did not give anything other than the money and dagger, no skills were given to players, and he had to get those for himself.
The system allowed you to gain skills by learning from a school or you could create skills for yourself by gaining enlighten1ment and practicing moves. There were no skill points to upgrade skills. The level and power of your skills depended entirely on your proficiency with it, how much you use it and your base stats.
Although there were no skill points, there were stat points with 3 points given for every level up, with the basic stats being; Strength, Dexterity, Agility, Mentality, intelligence and Stamina. There were also minor stats such as mana and physical resistance, poison resistance etc. Those are affected by the base stats and any extra effort the player put into developing them.
Rastel pulled up his profile by swiping down the right side of his vision. His level, basic stats and skills were shown.

He sighed when he saw it, muan's basic strength really is incredibly weak. 3 strength? What the heck was that!? That's the strength of a normal human child! He swiped up the screen and moved into the crowd to look for a library. The best and easiest way for him to get skills was by reading books.
A player found out about this hack about three months into the game's release. As long as you finished a book on some particular skill, you automatically learn it. The only set back was that it had to be an easy basic skill.
The player also found out something a little bit special. Muan characters could increase their intelligence and mentality stat through reading books! It was an ability exclusively given to muans, just like how elves had affinity to magic or human races had bloodline powers.
Although it sounded easy, most players disregarded it because they felt it was a waste of time. They would rather find instructors to teach them or figure it out themselves as it was more fun. Besides who could sit down in a library reading books when there were adventures to be had? They weren't a lot of muan players anyway.
But to people like Rastel who loved books, it was very convenient. It was even one of the major reasons why he chose the class in the first place.
As he moved through the crowd, he was able to appreciate the game more, everything was so real! He also felt the rarity of the muan race as he only saw about two or three muans with none been NPC's (none player characters).
He walked around for about thirty minutes but still couldn't find the library. He sat down on a wooden box near an alley tired.
"Why is it so hard to find the library in this village!" he cried.
"Are you lost mister?" a tiny voice sounded beside him.
"Eh, who's there?" he looked around.
A girl beastman came out from behind one of the boxes and looked at him inquisitively with wide eyes.
"Are you looking for the library?" she asked.
Rastel looked at her, she had long blonde hair and feline ears and round yellow eyes. A long brown tail came out of her back and she was dressed in a plain black dress.
He smiled at her, "Yeah, can you tell me where it is?"
She pointed to the building right across the road. It was medium sized and had a diagram of a book in front of it.
"It's right there", she said laughing.
He turned around to look at her sheepishly scratching the back of his head.
"Ha....haha, I didn't see it since I was so tired I guess"
"You are funny mister" she laughed at him again.
"Thanks girl, what's your name by the way?" he asked.
"Lou" she said smiling.
"Alright Lou, thanks for the directions, here's five kryts to get yourself something" he took out five kryts from his pouch and gave it to her.
"Thanks" she said as she took the money and disappeared down the alley.
He watched her go before crossing the road and entering the library.
It was really small for a library, there were about fifteen big shelves, and three small ones by the librarian's counter which were probably for special books. The shelves were arranged around the walls leaving the middle open to be used as a reading area. Tables and chairs filled this spot.
There were only two people there, an old dark skinned human man with a pretty girl with light brown skin who looked around 16 sitting at a table. They both had green arrows suspended above them showing they were players.
Rastel walked to the librarian, a middle-aged elf woman with glasses to ask about the library. He had to admit, elves really were beautiful. Even at that age the librarian still looked attractively charming, although he was not really sure what her age was. Elves aged slowly.
"I'd like to use the library" he said smiling.
The librarian smiled back revealing a perfect set of teeth as she answered, "No problem, it's free. You would have to pay an amount of 15 kryts if you want to borrow a book though"
"No need, I'm just reading" he said and went to the first shelf.
He looked at all the books there then sighed, this was going take a long time. He took the first ten books on the shelf and went to a table opposite the old man and the girl. The man raised his head from the book he was reading to look at him, he smiled at him and nodded. He nodded back then sat down. The girl kept on reading, too concentrated to pay attention to her surroundings.
For the next 1 week in game, Rastel only read books in the library once he logged in. This accounted for about 3 days in the normal world, time ran 3 times faster in the game. He spent all his money buying bread to keep his Hp up as he read, it was possible to die from starvation. He finished the books in the library shelve after shelve gaining multiple skills as he went.
Magic, mining, herb gathering, forgery, he gained basic proficiency in a lot of skills. There were so many notifications for learnt skills he grew numb to the "PING!" sound that accompanied each one. The old man and the girl were also there throughout the time reading, it seemed like they also wanted to finish the books there.
Rastel was a fast reader and finished all the books within the week. By that time, the old man and girl were barely finished. He was already familiar with them and greeted them as he dropped of the last books on the shelf.
"Old man, it seems I'll be leaving you here"
"Indeed, you're quite the fast reader" the man said laughing.
The girl looked up at him then smiled shyly, she went back to the book afterwards.
"I'll be on my way then, take care of yourself old man" he waved as he left.
"You too young lad, we'll meet again if we're fated". The old man called out.
Rastel said goodbye to the librarian too as he left. They had grown friendlier as he continuously visited to the library.
He stepped outside and felt the sun on his face. It was time for him to start his adventures for real.
Reading all the books in the library gave him 30 points to his intelligence and 23 to his mentality. For a mage, this was the best since his attack power would greatly increase and so would his mana.
He found his way to the village gates, it was time to go hunting. He was down to 4 kryts, a pitiful amount, and needed to make more money and also increase his level.
He was still at level 0 after all this while.

Shortly after the judge elder left, Li Zhu decided to leave the arena, and claim his rewards. Since he had ended up in fourth place, Li Zhu had won ten Cultivation Enhancing pills, two weeks worth of cultivating in Spirit Palace, a skill from the sect library, and a plant from Shen Zan's garden. All these rewards were great, but the last two especially intrigued Li Zhu, since he was in dire need of more skills to widen his options in combat.

Currently he could only use Shadow Lurk and Frost Touch, neither of which were skills which could be used to attack enemies. This was in part a good thing, since they were skills which did not grow less useful as his cultivation increased, making them good long term skills to have. That said, he currently had no way to damage opponents stronger than him, so he needed to focus more on the short-term, at least for now.

With this in mind, Li Zhu decided to head over to the sect library first, and choose a suitable skill. According to what the elder had stated, he could choose from any skill on the first four floors at no cost.

The sect library was on Knowledge Peak, which was one of the central peaks of the sect. The actual library was a massive building with seven floors and thousands of books, most of which contained skills. There were also history books and journals of great masters, but they were much less prominent than skills, which had been accumulated over hundreds of years.

When a disciple who met all requirements bought a skill book at a certain cost, they would be able to read and learn the skill for however long it took them. After they learned the skill, though, it needed to be returned to the library, for other disciples to learn in the future. If a disciple did not return their skill book to the library, they could not buy any more from it, which also meant each disciple could only learn one skill at a time from the library.

There were seven floors in the library in total, each containing stronger and rarer skills, and having higher requirements to enter them. For example, outer sect disciples could only buy books from the first two floors, and inner sect disciples could only buy books from the first four floors. As for the three floors after that, only elders could access them, and the seventh floor could only be entered by the Grand Elder, or whoever was the leader of the sect at any moment in time.

As Li Zhu entered the library, he felt right at home. As the crown prince, anytime he had not been training, he had been reading in the imperial library. He had read hundreds of books, each of which increased his knowledge of the Endless Sword Continent, and sometimes even beyond.

In the first floor of the library, there was a large table at the back, where an old man was sitting. The elder was absorbed in his reading, so Li Zhu simply walked past him, to the second floor. Just as he was about to reach the stairs, though, the elder's head snapped towards him, his face full of suspicion.

The elder sized up Li Zhu for a second, before returning to his reading, and saying "As you know, stay within the first four floors. There will be an elder on fourth floor, and you do not want to anger him... trust me."

'He knew who I was?' wondered Li Zhu, realizing that the judge elder had not lied when she said that elders knew exactly who the top ten disciples of the competition were. At the same time, the old man's last words intrigued him, as he wondered what kind of person an elder would fear.

Still, he walked all the way to the fourth floor, since it was the limit of where he could go in the library, and had much stronger skills than the previous floors. Li Zhu did not doubt that the sect had placed a few extremely precious books in the lower floors for disciples to accidentally come across, but he did not have the time to scroll through thousands of books, all for the possibility of finding something rare.

On the fourth floor, there were much fewer books than the previous floors, with only a few hundred displayed in the bookshelves. This was already amazing, tough, since finding so many skills was difficult, even for a large sect.

Li Zhu began browsing the books immediately, looking for an attack skill that suited his combat style. Since he used Shadow Lurk to quickly strike enemies, a skill which took a long time to use was not worth it, since it would leave him exposed. Furthermore, he currently did not want to use a sword in combat, so the skill needed to be a palm or fist technique, which were much less common than weapon skills.

"Flaming Tiger Pierce... doesn't meet any of the requirements. Three armed shot... no. Molten Yang Slash... weak!"

As he flipped through the books, Li Zhu noticed that there were many skills related to fire and swords, while all other skills were less common. This actually surprised him, since the sect was named Flaming Saber sect, so he had expected more saber skills, rather than sword ones.

With time, he did find a few palm and fist skills, "Flowing Ocean palm... each palm strike is like a tide,  destroying and then receding. Each palm strike is stronger than the previous, and if this art is trained to the maximum level, your strength can be equal to the very ocean we are surrounded by!"

Most skills had descriptions at the start, but they were often exaggerations, and even the masters who had invented the skills had never reached the level they claimed was possible. Because of this, even the weakest skill would sound intimidating, when the description was read. Li Zhu, though, knew to look past the initial words, and flip through the first few pages. For Flowing Ocean Palm, as he read the next few pages, the skill was quite clearly weak, and would only be useful in certain situations.

Due to this, Li Zhu continued walking around the bookshelves, opening every book there was.

"My Memoir?" mumbled Li Zhu, after reading the title of one particular book, which had tears all over it, clearly having barely withstood the test of time. All the books he had read previously were skills, so he was quite surprised to find this book. After all, an elder had decided that this memoir was worth having on the fourth floor, which said a lot about its value.

"April 15, year 128: Today is a great day, because I have practiced by Flaming Saber skill to the fourth level, and I am now finally an inner sect disciple of the Thousand Illusions Mountain! I have not written in this journal for a few weeks due to training, but I will try to write something every day from now on." Li Zhu flipped to a random page, reading off the first paragraph.

Instantly, a shocked expression appeared on his face, as he read the date again. In the Endless Sword Continent, each year was made up of three hundred and fifty days, and divided into twelve months. That said, the current year was 1784, and year 0 was said to be when the first civilizations had formed. If the date on the memoir was accurate, it was more than a thousand years old, and was an extremely precious recording of history.

Li Zhu continued to read, engrossed in the daily life of this young man, so eager to reach the peak of the continent. Unfortunately, the memoir ended abruptly, where many pages had been ripped off by someone. In the place of the pages, there was a small note, reading, "If you are reading this, the young man in the memoir is our founder, Ts'ui Ru. Unfortunately, the final part part of the journal contained important information, and was stolen eighty years ago when our sect was attacked in the night. Still, I wish for all disciples of the Flaming Saber sect to learn the story of their founder, and hope that it may fuel a desire for greatness in them, and you."

Li Zhu was left dumbfounded, as he read the small note. The young man he had read about was actually a founder of this sect! Furthermore, Li Zhu was beginning to suspect that he was also the creator of all the treasures in the sect such as the Thousand Illusions Forest or the Kill Illusions tower, due to his affiliation with the Thousand Illusions Mountain, an ancient sect which had long disappeared, but remained in many legends.

'What could the last twenty pages have contained to be the cause of an attack by other sects?' wondered Li Zhu, but he had his suspicions.

The man in the memoir was clearly a great expert, and most figures such as him would own many treasures in their lives. Although it was just a hunch, Li Zhu suspected that the last pages contained information regarding these treasures, and the Flaming Saber sect had learned the hard way that wealth attracts jealously.

As he was absorbed i his own thoughts, Li Zhu heard a whisper in another aisle of the library, "Are you excited, Yin Shing!? All our work is about to pay off, and we finally do not have to wait any longer! The dream we so badly wanted to fulfill will finally come true, and that old man can do nothing about it!"

There was another person in the aisle, but he did not take the words well, reprimanding, "Shut it! Let's go somewhere more private if you want to talk about the inheritance."

And with that, the two voices stopped, and Li Zhu was left with a curious expression on his face.

Jian Long was betrayed by his closest friend, his cultivation was destroyed, he lost his status... but he did not die!

Cultivate with swords? No, I would be recognised!

Use my same name? Absolutely not. Let's change it to Li Zhu.

Have the same look? Courting death.

I will have my revenge, but I need to become a whole different person, with a completely different cultivation method... summoning will do!

Li Zhu will take the path of summoning, in a world where weapons are Kings. What makes him different from other summoners, though, is that he can fuse with his spirit beasts!

The academy library was only a short walk away and was quite close to the Elder's Building. The library building from the outside was only a small single storied building and no one will be able to guess that the building holds one of Asia's largest libraries. On the inside, the buildings show its true colours. Instead of a single floor, there were 10 different floors with each floor having a size similar to a football field. It could be said that this library was more than 10 times larger than the Hogwarts library.

This fact is not too surprising. Unlike Britain in which only a single language is used for all purposes, Magical India had more than 15 different official languages due to different tribe's having their very own language. Books written in all these languages were present inside this library. 

One thing I was thankful for in India was that despite there being so many languages, all the spells were in one language, Sanskrit. If every tribe used and taught their own version of spells in their native language, then having an academy will have no meaning. Each elder will teach in his/her language and due to this, the only people who will sign up for their classes will be their own tribe members since no one will be interested in learning a different language just to learn from the elder. If this was going to be the case, then the Elder could have conducted the class in his tribe itself.

Of the more than 15 languages here, I knew only English and Hindi. So I could read only the books in these two languages. The first two floors had only Hindi books while the English book filled a small part of the 10 floor. English was not a common used language here. I had only some average fluency in Hindi so I will have to improve my proficiency in it if I want to make good use of all these books. 

The third and fourth floors had books written in Sanskrit language and I will have to learn the language sometime soon in the future to make my learning process here faster. The language was not commonly spoken in the present era but most of the old and informative books were written in the Sanskrit  language and if I wanted to read and learn from them, I will have to learn language.

Much to my disappointment there was no easy way to solve this problem since there were no magical translators or spells that I could use to translate these books into English. People in India had tried very hard to make this possible over the years but they had failed miserably. I too felt that such a thing was impossible since different languages did not follow a pattern that could be used to magically translate it. Languages did not follow rules and were made by old people on a whim according to their needs.

The people here did invent a spell to make learning language easier though which I am going to make good use of. The spell will make it possible for me to completely learn a language in a month. All I had to do was memorise some books that came recommended with the spell and it will allow me to learn the language quickly. I am planning to use it to perfect my Hindi first and then learn Sanskrit. I did not plan to learn any other Indian language.

The library was huge and I already had a list of books that were recommended to me today that I had to read. I did not have time to waste since I had a deadline which I had to keep. I did not have too much time to waste.

Before going to the Healer section, I decided to visit the English section first since I wanted to see what was available in there. Also it was the language I was most comfortable with in this library. 

To get to the 10th floor, the people here had invented a magical variant of lift. It was a levitating disk on a platform which would follow my command in a way similar to that of a broom and take me to my floor. I liked the idea so much that I wanted to replicate this type of lift in my black castle. I planned on completely renovating the Black castle and this lift was added to the list of changes I wanted to make.

On the 10th floor, the English section was easy to find. The section consisted of 15 large bookshelves filled to the brim with books. This was a small number when compared to the even the Hogwarts library except that the books here were priceless. On glancing through the books, I found that the collection did not have any new books but instead every one of the books was an antique and were more than a 100 years old. Some were even more than 700 years old. Even my black library did not have these book and I wondered where the academy got them from.

The books were calling for me to read them but I controlled myself and went towards the Healer section of the library. I badly wanted to start reading the books but I knew that I had no time for them currently. I could come back here after 3 days and start reading them.

The Healer section on the second was huge with more than 30 bookshelves. I quickly found the books on my list and went towards the Duelling section which was on the same floor. It was not too big just 7 book shelves and I easily found the books recommended to me by Elder Akash. I also checked out the book which will allow me to improve my fluency in Hindi.

The checkout system here was quite unique. First of all, all the books in the library were warded to protect from damage and making copies. At the checkout counter I had to specify the number of days I needed a book. The books had another set of runes that were then programmed in such a way that when the rental period ended, the book will be automatically returned to its original location in the library. The books will also return to the library of I take it outside the academy boundary. I was very impressed by this system.

After checking out the books for 3 days, I left the library as it was time for my next class. The mage sight tutoring with Elder Nainesh. 

When I entered his room he was very excited to start teaching me. I learn the reason for it later during the class. It was due to the fact that my mage sight was different from his and he wanted to compare both and conduct experiments. The main difference was that my mage sight only showed a slight glow in my eyes when activated which his not noticeable while his and his tribes mage sight had tell tale sign when activated. His eyes started twinkling like Dumbledore's glasses when mage sight was activated so he couldn't discreetly use the sight like I always did.

The class was very productive. The method to toggle between different modes was controlling the amount of magic that I sent into my eyes. For the seeing through walls effect I had to rotate my the magic around my eyes. The amount of magic in the eyes and my control in rotating it perfect decided the distance I could see and what I could see.

It was difficult to do since I had not practiced controlling the amount of magic that I could send to my eyes ever in my life. For the first class I did just that. Controlling the magic. By the end of the class I had gotten a slight hang of the method and I could toggle between the modes just for a short few seconds before I lost control. I was sure I could perfect this in a weeks time.

After that productive one hour class, I went back to my room. It was time for me to start reading those books since time was tight. After conjuring a table and a chair, I started reading, beginning with the language book so that my later reading will be quicker.
