In the final battle of the Fourth Great Shinobi War after Naruto and Sasuke's final clash. The resulting explosion was strong enough to rip open the fabric of space and fling them into the void. What will they do after waking up in a strange new world filled with Magic and will they ever be able to find their way back home.

(Please note the release schedule won't be completely consistent I have work and school to deal with and am only doing this for fun plus I want to take my time and make sure the story is good)

"Dylan! Can you go with me inside  that tunnel? I wonder what's beyond there. There are a lot of amazing things out there that we will never imagine. I  just can't get enough out of this amazing garden. Don't you want to go?" "But I am busy collecting some wood. It's going to be colder tonight. We need to make fire. "Dylan refused her request" Please? I don't want to go by myself. "Fae insisted."Who says you'll go? That tunnel looks pretty dangerous.  We shouldn't risk it."Dylan refused one more time. "Just a quick look. I'm just curious, I don't want anymore what ifs. I don't want to regret. I also don't want to look at it everytime and wonder what it is on the other side. I don't think there is such a bad thing in this garden. Is there? Let's give it a chance. This garden is meant to be explored." Fae added. " Yeah, but you also feel like nobody has to know about this garden right? As you have said before. This is also meant to be kept a secret. We should be satisfied with the paradise that it offered. It gave us more than enough." Dylan said while grabbing the woods. Fae frowned with lowly spirit. Dylan noticed her being quiet. He held her shoulder. "*Sighed*Ok. Ok. Be careful. You must not leave my side" Dylan gave up stopping her.  Fae jump onto Dylan because of her excitement and hugged him. Dylan grabbed his bag and wood. Fae grabbed Dylans arms and pulled him to go inside the tunnel. They fired some torches since it is pretty dark inside. It was a long tunnel. Dylan scratched some marking on the walls so that there will be a guide for them on the way back. At the end of the tunnel there were rocks that that is blocking the way but there is some enough space for them to go through. Fae went through the rock boulders and stepped on each rock that is on top of another until they made it to the top. They have reached a flat area.. Dylan saw some "x" marks on the walls, while he was hiking meaning that it could be forbidden area of the garden. "It's much darker and eerie in here. I guess this mysterious garden isn't all heaven but also has it's dark side too. They walked further more to explore.  Then suddenly Fae felt a little nauseous and anxious at the same time. "Dylan? I think we should head back. I started not to feel good about this. I can't breathe. It is foggy here and it seems like there are fumes in the air. " Fae was nervous. Dylan shook his head." *Sigh* Alright. Enough with your adventures. Let's go back" They walked back to the tunnel but before they can make it,  an angry and giant creature that looks like a boar with skin-like rocks appeared out of nowhere. It was out to get Fae. Fae screamed for help. Dylan went to her  to dodge the creature's heavy slap. Luckily, It only  hit Dylan's bag and hit right arm. It was injured. They heard a loud clash inside the bag. The Jar inside broke the ET fireflies were loose inside the bag. Dylan and Fae were weak but Dylan saw another tunnel nearby accross the giant's huge feet. They ran between the feet of the giant. They hurriedly went inside the tunnel. The giant cannot fit inside so the creature eventually left them alone. Fae was crying profusely. Dylan was feeling weak and in pain he leaned his back on the wall holding his right arm that was injured. It was bleeding so he  removed his shirt to wrap his wound and to stop the bleeding. He then closed his eyes for a bit. Fae assisted him and sat on his right side. She continued to cry and hugged dylan. Her face and eyes is leaning on his shoulders. Her arms wrapped around his head. Her tears fell down to his shoulders all the way down to his arms. Without realizing her tears were glowing green while she was crying. Dylan's pain went away and it was healed. Dylan's regained his energy immediaetly after her tears contacted his wound. "Fae, Stop crying. Since when did Fae become a Fairy? You can heal wounds now? " Dylan smiled teasing her, without realizing the truth behind what he is saying.  " "Don't say any nonsense.. just to make me feel better. I know I should be at fault. I'm sorry for bringing you here. I should have listened. I don't know what I will do if something happens to you. " Fae was sobbing. "I'm serious. I'm always okay when you're with me." Dylan kissed her on the lips.  Dylan removed the shirt around his arms. It was healed, although it left a scar. Fae saw it and her eyes widened in surprise. Her eyebrows crossed as questions mark on her head. She was confused of what have happened. Dylan stood up. Still aware and alarmed. They were still unsafe. He checked his bag to see how the Et fireflies/ Fairies doing inside his bag. They were still alive but sleeping due to fatigue and the fumes that were inhaled. They don't look too good. He then walk all the way on the end of curvy tunnel to find a way out. Fae sat still on a corner staring on one area, frowned up and confused. Dylan reached the end of the curvy tunnel and saw that the end was the edge of a cliff, he saw the skies above and there's with no way out. He looked below the cliff and was amazed by what he saw. There was an ocean of treasures below shining through, the amount was unimaginable. He saw a rope that extends to the ground. He went back to Fae sat down on her side and told her what he saw. " You could not believe what I saw there are treasures hidden in here. At the end of the tunnel was nowhere but a dead end. However, there's a humongous amount of treasures under. the cliff. There is even a rope that extends downwards. I.. I think you might want to check it out? " Dylan cheered her up a little bit. " No, Dylan" Fae held his arms. " I realized you were right. I should have been satisfied with what we have when we were at the other side. We are at our happiest.  I don't know if we will make it out alive. I was too greedy to experience more, and end up in this land full of tunnels of nowhere. I am not interested beyond this anymore. I already had what's far more precious than the ocean of treasures. You are enough. I don't want to keep looking if I will end up losing you, Dylan. " Dylan held both of her shoulders. "Hey cheer up. It's not the end yet. We will stay here for a while, but I will find a way to sneak out. This is an adventure , and isn't it funny that we get to experience this that probably no one in the world ever has? We are doing good so far. If something happens it's because we took risks and we had courage. A life without taking risks isn't living a life at all. Although, some mistakes can be made but that is alright. We can learn from it."  Fae fell asleep on Dylan's shoulder.  The next morning. " We have ran away as quick as possible but we cannot leave Fae. We have to tell her everything. " Pip told Chi. Pip, Chi, Wanda and Olah Managed to escaped from the bagpack of Dylan. They are the fairies that have been inside the jar for a long time and their energy was drained inside but since the jar was broken they can easily escape from the bag. The fumes in the forbidden made them weak but later on their powers was altered and gained strength from it. and by the fumes also, Fae was able to make her tears heal Dylan. Fae and dylan were sleeping. They woke up when they heard a rock fell. " Pip, be careful" Chi said to her fellow fairy.  " Huh? look Dylan, there are ET fireflies here too. " Fae pointed out to the four fairies. " The 4 fairies stopped with what they are doing and stared at them. "uhh.. hmm.. It seems like they are trying to do something. " Dylan said, he startled since he doesnt want Fae to know that he hid them inside the jar. " The four fairies tried to lift up 2 big rocks with their powers. Two Fairies on each Rock. " They brought it at the entrance while still holding the rocks high with their powers. " It's like they are trying to help us. Let's follow them. " Dylan said. They followed th fairies and hid under the floating rocks. They did this to disguise as fobidden creatures. So that it will be hard for other creatures to notice them. Fae and the two fairies were behind Dylan and the other two." Psst. Psstt" Pip whispered to Fae's ear. " Fae, this is bad  you guys  shouldn't have went here in this place, and see what you saw. " Pip said. " Huh?? You can talk??" Fae said.. " Shh.. Don't let Dylan know... We inhaled fumes when that jar was broken, it altered our abilities in bad way. It also made us be able to talk to humans. But you can help us fix this, Fae." Pip said. " Me? Why? How? I don't understand" Fae questioned. " Yes, can't you remember me?" Pip added. " How can I remember you? I am a human. I've never been in this place anymore. "Fae was confused. " Fae, listen. Dylan hid us in a jar for a long time. We are lucky we are still alive. Four of us helped each other to survive. Luckily, the jar was broken yesterday when the borrock hit his bag. It helped us escape. " Pip said. " Huh, how could he? He will never do that. I talked to him about that. " Fae said. " Fae, believe me. You're a fairy before. You're one of us. Dylan is a Goelet.  You can't trust him! You have to stop him..." Pip warned Fae about Dylan being a Goelet which had a bad history regarding the hidden garden.

Ulmir's Domain, Canyon Labyrinth, Night of the first day of the Hunt. 
Zedd was watching the dark sky above him. He managed to escape the Faery plains right before it collapsed. 'I've gone and destroyed the whole place,' he thought, a wide smile on his face. 'Utar won't let this go. He'll come for me soon enough.' 
Zedd was lying under a tree. Its fluorescent fruits hung on all branches. 'From here, the fruits look like the aurora I saw in the north, dancing with the stars!' he thought, amused. Ulmir's Domain didn't have any real stars. The night and day cycles were artificially provoked. 
'According to Vaneel, this realm wasn't created by Ulmir. The deception this false God had used is incredible!' 
Zedd knew one thing or two about Hera's Gods. During his childhood, he used to worship Osimir, the God of Sea. He was a fisherman, devoted to his job. At an early age, he had to work to provide for his family. 
His father had lost himself to ale. The first thing he'd do after waking up was drink. He'd keep on drinking until he passed out somewhere in Yanoku's slums. 
His younger sister would search for him in the darkest corners of the slums, drag him over to the house, bathe him then put him to sleep.  Black Eyes loved his father nonetheless, but he'd grown to pity him over the years.
Zedd's sick mother couldn't leave her bed. His sisters were too young to work. His older brothers had abandoned them. Zedd worked hard to keep his family together. If it weren't for Agatha's potions, his mother would have died before he could come of age. He worked in a fishing vessel that traveled to the high seas. 
Remembering all that, Zedd broke into unstoppable laughter.
Zedd promised to only remember the good about his family. He'd promised himself to never think of the bad. 
"Look who we have here!" a voice woke Zedd from his trip to nostalgia land. 
"It's that Devil the papers talked about Vyk!" Red said. 
Three men were standing over Zedd. 
The one on his left had a dark complexion and wore steel armor. 
The one the right had nothing unusual about him, except his large nose that stuck out like a sore thumb. 
The one in the middle had red hair and wore a long dark green robe. 
"Whacha doing here mister?" Nose asked. 
"You like to stick your large nose into others business, doncha?" Zedd asked. He was lying on the ground, his arms crossed behind his head. 
"That's a nice sword you got there," Vyk said. "Mind if we borrow it?" 
"Vyk Rednose!" Zedd shouted, "the famous mice that hide in the sewers and feed on scraps." 
"Watch yer mouth Black Eyes!" Red warned. 
"What?" Zedd asked. "You think you have the upper hand?"
Vyk unsheathed his sword and put it against Zedd's exposed throat. "What would you call it?" he asked. 
"I call it being stupid," Zedd nonchalantly answered. "Let me ask you Vyk, do you know where you're standing?" 
"On top of you," Nose answered, "ready to slit your throat if you make a move!" 
"Red," Zedd called out. "Look above you. Tell these ignorant assholes what you see." 
The man with red hair obeyed. 
"Vyk," Red pulled the armored man from the shoulder. "We need to leave, now!" 
"I'd listen to his advice if I were you," Zedd urged. 
"What do you see Red?" Vyk asked. 
"Look and see for yourself!" Red urged. 
Vyk looked up and noticed the fluorescent fruits above him. "Antenna Lure?" he mumbled. "What are they doing here?" 
"I'm as baffled as you are Vyk," Zedd answered. Vyk turned around to look at his captive then jumped backwards, the other three followed suit. 
"Bouh!" Zedd shouted then started laughing. He was already standing, sword in hand. "You attack me and I release the fruits on the tree," he announced to the trio. "Red can confirm that I've attached my Essence signature on the fruits. One move and they fall on your heads. You all know what will happen after that, don't you?" 
If those fluorescent fruits fell over, a giant monster would surface and swallow them all. 
"You've ruined a great sentimental moment for me!" Zedd told the three men. "You've made me really angry! And for what?! A fucking sword?!" he was shouting at the top of his lungs. 
"Listen Black Eyes," Vyk started. "We made a mistake. We'll leave you be now. No harm done!" 
"We ain't leaving!" Nose interrupted. "He don't want to die!" 
"Wait!" Red shouted at Zedd, almost pleadingly. He then barked at his friend: "Shut your trap you big nose!" 
Nose tried to argue but the leader shot him a stern look. 
Red turned towards Vyk and pulled him backwards. "Let's go!" 
"I'd listen to your friend if I were you Vyk!" Zedd said with smile. 
The leader motioned with his head and the three started backing away. "It's good to listen to your teammates' advice," Zedd told the retreating men. "It shows you're a great leader." Black Eyes smiled at them then started advancing. His movement took them aback. 
"But I didn't allow you to leave!" Zedd shouted. His golden pupils shone in the darkness. "You provoked me, tried to cut me open while I lay there, unarmed. You're the scum I hate most in this world!" Zedd jumped at Nose then relieved him from his head. 
He turned to look at the other two. They looked terrified. Their legs were shaking. "Now Run!" 
Red and Vyk didn't have to be asked twice. They ran as fast as their feet could take them, each on a different direction. "Run little mice run!" Zedd shouted at them. "If I see you again, I'll be sure to give you my best!" Black Eyes started laughing hysterically. 
After a while, Zedd willed his Fairies to disassemble. He'd been using them to create a fluorescent like fruit. This was something he thought of when he created his little creatures. He drew his inspiration from the Photons. 
They were little creatures that resembled fireflies. They were used to transmit live images from the Contest in the Second Phase of the Hunt to Yanoku. 
His support Fairies could create glowing light around their bodies to imitate Photons in some continents, or fireflies in the others. Using that ruse, Zedd scared his attackers. 
'Who says I'm unlucky?' he thought. 'I was using the little ones for entertainment.' 
After Vyk and Red were out of sight, Zedd sat down in a lotus position then started meditating. 'The energy I absorbed had quickly evaporated,' he thought as he closed his eyes. 'If there's a vein in here, there has to be a root. This realm isn't very big. The root must be somewhere close.' 
Zedd stabilized his breathing then started cycling his Essence through his Conduits. Essence was the energy that allowed all to live. Every planet had an Essence Core through which all energy was distributed via roots. The closer one got to the core, the bigger the roots became. Closer to the surface, the roots got smaller to form Aether Veins. The one Zedd sucked dry supplemented all Faery Plains with Essence. 
Black Eyes could absorb the Essence from the vein but couldn't make it his own. In order to do so, one needs time to assimilate it then integrate it in his own Essence flow. Zedd lacked an important feature to do so. He was incapable of assimilating Essence due to his weak soul. He'd used the vein to recover some of the damage done to it, then absorbed the rest for the fight against Vaneel, without assimilating it.
He was resting under the tree, due to exertion. If the three attacked back then, he would have no means to repel the three of them at once. He resorted to intimidation and bluffing to turn them away. He was lucky to have used his Fairies to act as an aurora. 
'Travelling to Hera was more difficult that I thought it to be,' he thought after three hours. 
He finished cycling Essence through his Conduits. Without a stable Essence Flow, Zedd couldn't use his abilities to their fullest. 'I've damaged my soul trying to reach this planet.' Zedd stood up and walked forward. He felt the wind caress his face in that dark, starry night, then dashed. 
Wind howled against his ears as he picked up speed. He was heading for Ulmir's Garden. 'Vaneel reached me very quickly' he thought as he ran. 'The legends say the Watchdog resides in the Garden, not in the plains.' 
Something didn't add up. Despite Vaneel's power, he couldn't have reached Zedd so quickly. Flying from the Garden to the Plains should've taken more than a few minutes. He couldn't teleport in his first form. 
'The Watchdog must be in the Garden.' He regretted not taking care of the imperials. But Vaneel was about to explode, he had to get away to the nearest area, the Canyons. 'Imperials will have to wait. I'll take care of them during the Second Phase. Alistair won't like it. Neither will Avourel."
Zedd crossed the Canyon that night. He was bound to reach the Garden by midday the next day. 'I'll have to draw the real Watchdog out! No matter the cost!'

In the Four Seasons, Gedel had brought his halberd down as thunder rumbled in the sky. The weapon hit the rocky ground then emitted a loud clang. "What?" Kandisha was perplexed. Cane was pulled to the side by an unknown pulling force. "You have familiars?!" the woman exclaimed. 
Cane was as surprised as the woman. "What?" he said. 
"What do you mean what?" Kandisha shouted back. "Are you playing dumb boy?" The woman raised her hand then Gedel chased after the disoriented Cane. He tried to raise his sword to block the attack but his reaction time was slow. Before the halberd split his head open, Gedel was pulled back then fell to the ground. 
That was like a wake-up call for Cane. The big bear stood then dashed towards the masked woman. He thrust his sword at her chest but Kandisha repelled it with her daggers. Cane swung his sword, aiming for her neck, but the woman repelled the attack once more. 'She's stronger than I thought.' 
Cane was forced into a face-off. One of them was bound to make the first move. That move would decide the outcome of the battle. Each of them covered their weaknesses pretty well. In two seconds, each one decided their course of action. 
Gedel's body was struggling against the Fairies that kept him on the ground. Zedd had ordered some of his support Fairies to tail Cane and provide him with help. He wasn't willing to lose a skilled fighter during the Hunt. In fact, he wanted him to get stronger, by meeting stronger opponents and dangerous beasts. But he didn't wish for him to die. For that he'd equipped him well and kept watchful eyes on him. 
Kandisha was the first to move. She went for the big bear's ribs. She noticed that the man didn't protect that area very well. 
She was right. 
Cane relied on fast, well placed and timed attacks. If one got in his range, he'd engage them with a flurry of swings to force a mistake then punish them for it. 
If someone were to counter his attacks, forced him to think before he moved, he'd be the one making a fatal mistake. 
Kandisha was going for that mistake. 
Cane was taken aback, but was saved once more by Zedd's equipment. 
The big bear knew the situation was dire. He activated the lightning element on the sword. What Zedd hadn't told him was that the sword had another feature. In order to protect the wielder from friendly fire, the sword was made to sense and detect its owner's Essence print. By offering the sword to Cane, Black Eyes thought he had become its owner.
Once the lightning element activated, the sword moved on its own. It struck Kandisha with a lightning bolt to the neck, stopping her inches from Cane. The masked woman was electrocuted. Holes appeared on all her body. Then she fell to the ground. The Fairies released their hold on Gedel's corpse then flew towards Cane. 
The big bear was writhing on the ground. The electroshock hit indiscriminately. Cane wasn't the sword's rightful owner after all. He was affected by the attack, albeit not in the same intensity as Kandisha. Zedd, the novice smith, omitted the detail concerning Essence print. When the Fairies relayed the message to him, Black Eyes was baffled. 
'Tsk!' a voice inside his head told him.

Zedd Darkstar, also known as Black Eyes, is a man with a plan. In the planet of Hera, he's the only man willing to take down the Auruun Empire that threatens to put an end to the Magic Era.

~Underground Tunnels, Buinswick Royal Capital. Year 3, 13th of July, Midnight~

We are only staying in this place for a day and we are now departing right here and now at midnight.

In Lycoris's Mansion in the capital which was former Undine's mansion. There is a huge rock in the garden which fits naturally to the garden's scenery.

That rock is covering a huge hole that leads to the huge and complicated underground tunnels below the capital.

It is not even considered a mistake if it is mistakenly identified as a labyrinth.

Through that big hole of an entrance. We went in the entrance along with the horse pulling the carriage. We dropped all of our loot and treasure at Lycoris's Mansion and then we depart.

Charlotte, the head maid respectively, along with some servants of the mansion, covered the hole back with the same huge rock... or is it a boulder?

We had the dwarf slave of Faust to escort us to the Undine's mansion located outside the capital.

The dwarf slave's name is Ruu. Female dwarves look like small girls.

They live and die with their face and body that looks like little girls.

Male dwarves are short and they look like muscular adults or muscular old men, but they are short.

With great strength in their arms and their trademark beards, they have a natural talent for craftsmanship and love for alcohol.

With Ruu in the front carriage, beside a fairy driving the coach. She guides the stagecoach on which direction to go.

Without a guide, we would ultimately get lost in this place.

There are multiple floors in this place, which all floors having an underground lake in them.

With how dark the place is, we can still see where we are going.

That is due to the luminescent crystals in the cave walls, and cave floor.

Combine that with the lake and the underground fireflies, it sure gives off a picturesque sight.

Even the fairies stationed in the underground tunnel, shrunk their body into one that can fit in the palm of one's hand and started playing in the water.

Combined with luminescent glow of their translucent wings makes the fairies more beautiful and gorgeous in the water.

The fairies in my convoy looked at those fairies with eyes of envy and can't help sigh at the fact that they are in the middle of their mission.

We continued traveling down the cave until we arrived at Undine's mansion outside the capital.

We arrived there, but we're still underground.

The entrance to the underground tunnels in Undine's Mansion outside the capital, is only big enough to fit a person, not objects.

So we are troubled on how to get the horses and carriages to the surface.

A fairy climbed down from the mansion towards the underground tunnels. Now that said fairy is now in front of us.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Mike. I am the steward and head butler of both mansions."

"Nice to meet you too. I am Veronica Octavia"

He nodded and proceeded to tell to us on how can we can get out the horses and carriages out of this place.

"The only solution for our problem is to dig our way out" He said with a smile full of innocence and purity.

This guy... he is either a fool, an idiot, or naive. I won't call him innocent, because fairies are not equal to innocent.

That is because from the moment they are born. Information that was publicly shared through the fairy memory network will be automatically sent to them when they are born.

Because of that, they lost their innocence from the day that they are born in this world.

I sighed at this situation and cut a wound in my palm and let blood drip into the floor.

My descendant and the fairies were not fazed at what I am doing and get some tools of digging and started digging a route to the surface.

After enough amount of blood is on the floor. I healed my wounds by closing the wound through magic manipulation and used the blood on the floor to create a huge drill.

Seeing the huge drill that I have created, they make way for me and gave me enough space to drill our way out of here.

I manipulated the mana condensed in the blood and make it start rotating at extreme speed.

When the blood drill is rotating at an alarming speed. I started drilling the cave walls.

It took only about 10 minutes of digging using the drill until we reach to the surface with enough space to get the horses and carriages out of there.

Mike somehow disappeared while we're digging and he just appeared in front of us, in the surface, carrying a huge rock.

"Thank you for your hard work" He said and after nobody and nothing is left in the tunnel where we came from. He covered the passageway we dug by a huge rock.

"It seems that we need to create a garden in the surrounding of his rock" He said, which I agree, since it is unnatural to have a huge rock in the side of the hill, beside a mansion.

So the natural thing to hide a tree, is to hide it in the forest. In this case, it is a garden.

We then started getting in the carriage, but Ruu stayed behind and said her farewells.

She went back to the underground tunnel to get back to Buinswick, since she is a slave of Faust.

Although I have yet to meet Faust and his assistant Maria. He seems to be a kind person judging from the demeanor that I saw from the window of my room.

We bid our farewells to Mike and we then departed to the direction on Undine's location along with her companions.

When I told her about how we are going towards her direction, she told me with a fed up tone "Finally!! It's about time for you guys to pick us up"

I made a wry smile and wryly laughed at her words.

Well, she is quite right. It took us too much time for us to pick her up. 

If we did not do any additional things like trading and freeing captives, we would be able to pick Undine and her companions immediately.

Trying to find justification for thins that she will do in the future as well as a way to hae fun in this new world through probably destruction.

This is a dark fantasy novel or what I wanted this novel to go with. And this is gender bender that is why it is a female lead, I got the inspiration from a certain novel.

Please tell me what to improve on and I plan to continue writing even if it's bad. I plan this to be like novel I will use for training to write better novels

Shina had lived her years of hiding from other gods, especially minors. She doesn't want to be bothered by them again. Ever since that happened, terrible things was cast into her life. Her grandparents didn't feed her for weeks, after her mother's burial, her father had gone mad and began to abuse her and ended up in prison, and died years later . After that, gods of her age started bullying her. 

Black Valley

Black valley is a place where fair people rest or to get a break. It's a stop for travelers going from kingdom to kingdom. Black valley once belonged to a powerful elementalist, and is passed down to Shina.

Black Valley is kind of a camp site for mythical creatures and other fair people, it is where fair travelers rest before they move to another kingdom to explore, other fair people have fun here, relaxing or doing activities. 
Black valley is quite mysterious. If you try to find it, it will never show itself, unless if you need a place to rest a portal will appear where you are. This portal also has limited time to show itself, will disappear in thirty minutes if a fair people ignores it. 

"I guess that's it for today." Shina said, closing a thick book then putsbit back to the shelf.

"Shall I accompany you majesty?" A spirit asked Shina, standing by the door.

"No, it's fine." Shina refused with a calm voice. "You should get back to your post, the new arrivals do need a welcoming."

"Yes majesty." 
The spirit bowed then disappeared like a smoke in the air.

Shina sighed. She picked her cloak from a chair then wears it and covered her head with the hood.

For almost six centuries, Shina have been running the land of the dead. Welcoming the new dead corpse, helping them to get their second life, or throw them to hell. That is with the help of spirits and grim reapers. Shina is a reaper herself, with her black cloak and scythe. Shina didn't like the land of the dead at first, it was full of bones, dead bodies, and other disgusting stuff.

Shina stood on her scythe, and rode on it like a hover board. Her cloak flapped behind her as the wind blew in front of her. Shina landed on a patch of black roses, in front of her was a thick wall of vines that covered an establishment. 

Shina looked to her right, a three foot cerberus was sleeping, tired of last night's guarding. Shina tilted her head and smiled at the cerberus. 

"Alpha, hey boy." Shina called. The dog blinked it's eyes and stood up, the dog wiggled it's tail immediately at the sight of Shina. 
"How are you? You okay?" Shina asked, drew herself closer and bends her left knee to level her head at the dog. 
Alpha barked in high pitch in reply, ears facing forward. 
Shina cupped her hand in front of her, a bluish sparkle slowly floated on her hands, going in circles until it disappeared leaving a hand sized purple fruit. Alpha opened his mouth and placed the fruit in his mouth. 
Alpha looks very happy chewing the fruit. Shina stood on her feet and stepped back to the thick vines. 

She raised her hand over the scythe and it floated to her level. 
Alpha barked at Shina, showing appreciation for the snack. 

"I'll give you another chorus fruit when I come back." Shina promised. 
She then walked towards the vines. A portal showed up, emiting white light and a swirling cloud like in the sky. Then Shina walked directly to it.

The portal lead her to a dim place, only lanterns are lighting the way hanging on trees. This place was peaceful, and the most peaceful place in all of the kingdoms, not even the galactic garden can compare to this.

Shina followed a stone path to get to a destination. For or a few walks, she entered a beautiful patch of different colored tulips, fireflies hovering above the flowers, other flying to the trees. Then the path leads her to a smooth bermuda grass spreading to who knows where it ends. A small cottage made of wood on her far left, people are sitting outside the cottage, one was grilling something, while others are playing in the dark.

On her right side, tree houses on small acacia trees are placed in lines. A spring pool located behind the tree houses, good enough for Shina to see through what they're doing. Well they're swimming.

She paused for a moment to look around. The smiles of the travelers and other creatures made her smile too, having fun with their family, laying around doing nothing, just chilling.

Shina threw the scythe to her right and it floated, she sat on the scythe then  flew in the air. The wind is blowing in front of her, her cloak flapped behind and the hood flipped, revealing her obsidian black hair and her clear silver eyes. The scythe brought Shina towards a cute household, the roof is covered with vines, lanterns hanging on each side and a small porch right on the front door.

"Mistress!" a female vampire called, staring at Shina landed with her scythe.
"Valor, how's the camp doing?" Shina asked while walking towards Valor. 
"It's doing pretty well Mistress, visitors are increasing every hour." Valor said, swirling her hand, then a clipboard appeared.
"About 200 came thirty minutes ago." Valor continued. "Fifty of them are fairies, twenty five are mer-fairies, another twenty five are mostly mythical creatures, and a hundred of them are high ranked vampires, most are ladies, less are gentlemen."

"Hmm, thank you Valor." Shina thanked, she went inside the house. She house was completely quiet, there's no one yelling, shouting, laughing, sometimes there was someone to let Shina brag about the land of the dead, or that guy would hang around with his fellow workers or it would suddenly shout and get clingy to her, which she find it weird. But now... It was.... Too quiet.....
Shina's eyebrow furrowed, turned to Valor.

"Where's Caesar?" Shina asked suspiciously
"Umm, I saw him giving tour to the ladies." Valor answered honestly
"Mer-fairies again?" Shina clarified
"Actually, it's vampires." Valor answered. Shina's eyes widened, blood surging, she threw her scythe floating on mid air then road in it, then flew towards a place where mostly vampires visit Black valley...

Black valley is a place where fairies and and other creatures meet. It's a haven for beasts and a resting place for fair travelers traveling from one kingdom to another. A beautiful Hearth stone, keeps the valley in shape, and the source of life to it.

In every world, there is always a power hungry beast that lurks in the shadows. A legendary thief appears out of nowhere and targeted the Hearth stone to sell it a powerful god. 

Shina, the guardian of Black valley faces this problem, with the help of the Night people, they battle to restore the life of their home.

An hour after both elves could no longer follow me I neared the eastern part of the forest. I slowed my pace to see if I could sense any trace of Faun or isolate where the foreboding feeling was coming from. At least last time that I wandered the land, the eastern edge of the forest was as large as a small country. I would not be able to find Faun just by randomly looking. 

As I spread out my senses into the plants I purposely let my essence be felt. There was no way that Faun or another spirit would not notice. Any Elves in the eastern woods should also feel my presence. Humans would have a hard time noticing it however. To them it would just feel like the forest was full of life. 

I felt no trace of Faun but I was able to determine which direction to head. The uneasiness from the plants was greater to the north. I turned north and started walking. 

It had only been about ten minutes when I noticed that I was once again surrounded. Well, that was not quite correct. I let myself be surrounded, but I knew these fellows meant no harm. "You can come out, my children." I said. Slowly they crept out of their hiding places. 

"Great mother. It has been many seasons since we have directly felt your presence. We could not resist the chance to see you again." A young man just the right size to stand on your palm flew out of the trees and did his best to hover before me. His wings were like crystalline red and black butterfly wings. If you were to judge his looks by elves he would look around 50 or 60 years old. If I remembered correctly that should be the lower part of the twenties for humans, but Fairies were spirits and not animals like elves and humans. Once they reached the age of adulthood they would stop growing older. They were true immortals, however as you might expect given their small size they were not hardy creatures and could easily be killed. This fragile immortality led to  their timid nature. 

I held out my hand to let him rest since Fairy wings were not designed to hover. "It has been a long time, Rine. I have some questions I would like to ask you. First, have you felt Faun's presence in this area?"

"It has been a season since we last felt her. She was kind enough to let us know she was in our territory this spring but she did not let us find her to talk. She quickly hid herself from us and we have not noticed her since."

"Do you know which way she was heading?" 

"For the few moments we could feel her she was moving to the north."

So I was on the right trail. She headed to the irregularity from this point. "Do you know what has been happening to the north?"

"We do not. We noticed something was different a year ago. We tried to find the source of it but we had no luck. Worst of all many that went to investigate did not return.  Some of the younger children that wandered off in that direction have gone missing, as well.  I have placed strict orders for none of my people to go near that place."

It was not just Faun that was missing? Why would someone want to kidnap Fairies? They were my kin and had some authority over plants, but their powers were very pale compared to mine. Like the glow of fireflies in the clear noon day sun. All they could really do was slightly speed up the growth of plants. "The elves should be following me. Please show them the way. I am going to be concealing my aura to the point that the elves will not be able to locate me. They will need your help to find me."

"Will they listen to us? In their eyes we are just little children and they rarely listen to us."

I could not help but sigh at Rine's words. He was right. The elves thought themselves so wise that they did not realize that the fairies' love for the simple and enjoyable things was not born out of childishness but out of the boredom that threatens immortals. "I will give you a gift. Show it to them and tell them that I sent you." I looked around to see what I could use to make a gift for the fairies that the elves would have to recognize. 

Not too far there was a small stream. Near the stream there were some calla lilies growing in the shade of a willow tree. Using a little of my power I caused both to seed, then taking the seed of each in my hand, I walked over to a clearing along the stream. Another small nudge of power and the seeds were changed in my grasp. I bent to the ground and used my finger to make a small hole and placed what was now one seed in the hole. With my hands on the fresh dirt around the hole I channeled my power into the ground. Soon the seed sprouted and started to grow.  After a few minutes it was the size of an eight year old tree. On its long drooping branches small white conical flowers of a calla lily were growing. 

I could hear a gasp out of the fairies especially the females at the sight of the tree. I turned to them and said, "This is my gift to you. If you show the elves this they will know that I sent you." 

Rine flew up to me and asked, "Is this really alright? This is such a marvelous gift. How could we possibly accept it?"

I smiled at him and said, "It is too late to reject it now. The tree is already grown."

Seeing my smile he responded, "We will make this tree our new home and treasure it dearly."

"I am glad that you like it. But be aware, it will take you much effort to keep this tree healthy. Without your efforts in just a few years this tree will die." I turned to the north and then said to them, "I am counting on you to tell the elves which way I went." I then handed them a simple maple seed. "If you find out anything about what is going on in the north, or about what happened to Faun, release the seed above the trees. The seed will find me and I will come as quick as I am able."

"We will heed your counsel and let you know if we learn anything to aid in your search. Am I correct in assuming the issue with the tree's longevity has to do with the compatibility of the willow and lily plants and this being a forced hybridization?"

"That is correct. The compatibility of these plants is poor and without constant care the plant will die."

"We thank you again, mother, and may the strength of the forest go with you."

I waved to the fairies and quickly departed to make  my way north. I smiled to myself at the fairies' traditional farewell. In most ways I was the strength of the forest, so I really hope that I am coming with me. 

The further I went, the more the plants of the forest seemed to be in distress. All but the hardiest of plants had a blight that I had never seen before on their leaves. They seemed to be seeping a black slime that brought death to every part of the plant it touched.  From time to time I would stop and let my senses spread through the surroundings to make sure I was still heading the right direction. This time, though, I kept it hidden from those less attuned than the fairies. 

The state of the forest was depressing and I could not just let it rest as it was. I released my power much more than I have in many, many years. Quickly the blight began to fade and many of the plants began to shoot forth tender branches. 

This act was not entirely out of mercy for the forest. Nature was where I got my strength. If I used my strength to fortify the plants around me I would have more strength available in my time of need. Obviously there was balance that needed to be maintained. I often thought of it like a pond with a stream feeding it. I would use the water from the pond to water the plants. The more water I took from the pond, the less I would have available. If I did not use the water to feed the plants it would just run off. I could get no more than my maximum, because the pond of my power was only so big. As I strengthened the nature around me the size of the pond and the tributary would increase. I would have more water and it would refill faster. However, if I was always using so much water that the pond was empty I would not be able to use any great power when I needed it. 

It was my judgment that now was the time to use my power to strengthen my reserve. With the blight in the forest around me, it was like a whole bunch of branches and leaves were clogging the pond and stream, diminishing the amount of power I had available. I did have my own personal reserve, but I was only a single entity and could not compare to the power available from the great forest. I also received some power from the healthy parts of the forest where I lived, but it was like the light of a fire. The further you were from it, the more area the light had to be spread over and the less of it would get to you. 

This would also serve as a trail for the elves to follow. There was no way that the elves would not notice the difference.

After walking a few more hours I was getting closer to the center of the disturbance in the forest. But I decided to stop for the day. The autumn sun was going to set before too long and I would lose much of my power when the plants that I borrow energy from go to sleep. I veered a little off track to find an inconspicuous color for my hair. I settled on resting under an old oak tree whose leaves have already turned brown. I most likely would run into humans tomorrow and I wanted to be able to blend in. Which would not work as well with green hair.

The blight has overcome her woods for the first time in thousands of years. The Dryad, Laurel, has asked for the help of one of her only friends, the Great Animal Spirit, to find the cause of the blight. However, now that her friend has gone missing, Laurel is given no choice but to set out from her sacred garden for the first time in centuries to find her friend and save her home.

Although Israel appeared confident about his own discovery, Joshua did not react too much.
The [Void Star-Observatory] that took three hundred years-worth of national resources from the Empire was similar to a radio telescope from Earth—the world in the warrior's preexistence, a fortress that lies on the outer reaches of space. Through twelve fused layers of Legendary-tier runes, its observation circles could penetrate the shambled dimensional turbulence to study distant worlds. Unlike the three other grand constructs, the observatory was loaded with a special screening formation for 'life'—every world with no hint of life would be removed from its observation circle, leaving only the innumerable but sporadic worlds that carry life.
As for the [Sentry Array] jointly managed by the Council of Seven and the Skypiercing White Tower, the mainstay of its ability is to grasp every detail of the Void outside the world of Mycroft, and was closer in distance. Most of the time it could only perform early detection of world fragments amidst the turbulent dimensions such as the Nuclear Star or other similar objects. Since the Mycroft Continent was about to die a while ago, the external screen of the world itself had become unstable which in turn prevented the Sentry Array from performing its full functionalities. Hence, there had to be constant vigilance against the intermittent spatial ripples, although it could unleash functionality superior to the preexistence now.
The [Saint's Eye], which construction was directed by the Seven Gods Church and assisted by the elves, the Far Southern Kingdom along with the Trade Federation was vague in its purpose—the most mysterious Wonder of the Void. However, the Seven Gods had used that Wonder to search for the Pentashade Dragon God that fled to the abyss in the pre-existence, which was why some boldly guessed that its function was to 'detect divinity reaction' and 'monitor abyssal seal' and pinpoint every god around the world of Mycroft. Furthermore, it could preemptively catch Abyssal general-class demonic invasions, and was probably why the Seven Gods church could always warn about Abyssal ambushes.
The smallest yet latest Wonder was the [Celestial Vision]. Constructed by the Three Great Kingdom of Psychics in the West Mountains, it had the unique capacity of collecting and tidying information of the dimensional turbulence itself. It was a large radio with zero disparity to some extent, and could catch distant abnormalities in the Multiverse early on with the appropriate handling. The early detection of the Great Mana Tide was indeed an example—the orbital shift of worlds and raging energy flow observed by mages stationed within the Celestial Horizon.
Israel had therefore grasped that the Void Star-Observatory was in fact the greatest and most powerful magical construct of this world, the utmost crystallization of a civilization and a surveillance system from scales of 'worlds' up to 'Multiverse'. It had been constructed by extraordinary civilization without minding the cost, and at a time when the peoples were still employing cold weaponry in wars.
But the question was, what did the Emperor find?
The refugees from the world of Grandia who were relocated to the world of Karlis?
That was Joshua's first thought. With the Observatory's specialized detection for living worlds, it was not unusual for the construct to find that nearby Karlis had living beings again at the very first moment.
Or did he detect the Sage's path, illuminated by Zinsen?
It was possible too. Although logically speaking the Observatory could only see living worlds, with additional resource and temporary disuse of its special screening function, it could observe the distant Multiverse to a degree. There was of course the issue of information regarding the massively disordered dimensional turbulence added to the mix, causing terrifying resources to burn.
Israel did have such authority but he should not be able to notice it. In the end, what the God of Might had illuminated were not real worlds but the power of Order that the Sage had left behind. Without that sort of energy, the Emperor could at most sense that those stars were rather conspicuous, but not as bright as a path.
There were any possibilities too. However, it was not as if Joshua could not think of it—he was too lazy to come up with those ideas, and it probably
Meanwhile, Israel had led Joshua away from the Great Hall to the depths of a hidden palace.
It was concealed within the heart of Morlaix Palace—it was even apt to call it a small hut because it was small and inconspicuous. The building surface, dappled with fungal growth made it resemble a statue and not a construction that permits entry. Joshua could sense that the small hut was shrouded in layers upon layers of powerful magical energy, forming a composition similar to three layers of Mobius Rings that completely seals and hides its 'space', 'presence' and 'energy'.
If the warrior did not progress into Legendary and possess the 'vision' that could directly observe Steel Strength, he would be incapable of sensing the presence of the hut without destroying the Mobius Rings. At the same time, Israel raised his right hand. There was a plain band on His Majesty's index finger, but was carved with–
No! Joshua frowned, looking at the band that appeared to be nothing special. Soon, he nodded lightly—the band may look like a band, but in fact it was a runic construct completely formed from 'mana' and 'information'. It did not have a solid form and was merely a key to unlock some unusual magical formations. Noticing his gaze, Israel smiled lightly, made a fist and extended his right hand and touched the outer layer of the circle around the hut.
A sheet of modest blue light shone, opening a door over the flawless formation that only permits one person to pass. Israel went in first and his voice rang from behind the door.
"Come, Noble Radcliff. My teacher is waiting for us."
Nostradamus? Didn't he just concluded the rituals and should be accepting the others' well-wishes at the moment?
The thought flashed in Joshua's mind for an instant and was rapidly extinguished. He probably had lost his wits if he fussed about such matters with a Legendary mage who had mastered the dimensions. The master must have ten thousand ways to leave later than the others and yet arrive before them to the destination.
The warrior stepped through the door, and the powerful yet imperceptible circle immediately close itself behind him and sealed the plain little hut.
"Where is this place?" Joshua asked after he looked around in curiosity. "Why did I never hear about such a hidden spot in Morlaix Palace?"
Under the separation from that three heavy sealing circles, the space within and beyond the circles was virtually two different worlds. The warrior even could be sure that the spatial coordinates inside this place was shifted and might exist in both the center of Morlaix Palace and another place in the world. Additionally, he smelled an ancient scent in this narrow space—it was not the scent of something corroded and decayed, but the thick distillment of extended history.
Standing before the old building, Israel lifted his head at the speckled walls. "This is the palace the Founding Emperor of the Northern Empire resided," the dull-blonde man explained with a tranquil voice, "and also the first building of the Empire on the Triplet Mountain. My ancestor had built it all by himself, and use it as a center point as he planned the whole city."
Israel had intended to continue, but four specks of light had suddenly darted out of a window of the old building that was now empty. Like fireflies, the specks danced happily in the air and swiftly approached the Emperor.
The specks moved so fast they were almost twice the speed of sound. At the same time and probably due to their minuscule mass, they did not cause any sonicboom or shockwave. Both Joshua and Israel could have easily caught those specks, but the two did not move, allowing to fly freely instead.
"Little Izzy, it's been a long time since you came to us!"
"You're even more boring than your father, eh? Before he returned, he would at least come for a spin every few months to enjoy the 'quiet'. But you come once every one or two years?"
"What are you here this time? Perhaps you've come to play cards? Let me tell you, we've developed a new game…"
"Tuturu~"
The four specks stopped around Israel and assembled into four translucent human silhouettes that were probably the size of two normal thumbs. Similar to Ying, their bodies were composed of pure energy but was a purer form of 'spiritual body', possessing appearances similar to elves as materialized element magic streamed around their bodies.
Golden-red light, translucent ripples as if water and ice, atoms with a cold black luster and flowing, distorted air. While the four little translucent lives looked weak, each in truth carried energy undulation between Gold and Supreme.
And from their speech, it seems that Israel and his father were merely their juniors.
"Fluorescence, Stream, Tempest and Dust. I've been busy recently and had not the time to visit… I'll be free later." Israel smiled as he named them. "This time I'm here only to bring someone to the Fairyland. Last time you four had said that 'its' trajectory had approached the Fairyland itself, I think it's far distinct to look at it from that place."
"That thing, huh. Right, it's right beside the Fairyland now." The golden-red little human figure, a mature, long-haired fairy that had mastered the power of flames tapped her virtually nonexistent chest and said proudly, "It's your freedom to bring a few people and have a look. Just don't disturb the other fairies' games!"
"So you're not here the visit us…" Stream, the fairy who appeared relatively petite and more girly pouted as if irritated, and annoyedly dragged another fairy who was surrounded in winds and rather quiet back into the plain hut. "Let's go, we can't even talk to this heartless fellow! Tempest, play chess with me!"
"Eh, I haven't explained my newly developed cards to Little Izzy…" Though she said so, the fairy named Tempest understood that Israel was here today for business, which was why he dragged another black-haired fairy who had paused beside Israel like a rock, forcing her back into the hut. "I guess it's fine, we could return to perfect the rules…"
"Tu, tuturu?!" The black-haired fairy exclaimed unintelligibly before being pulled into the hut, leaving just the fairy who spreads golden-red luster beside Israel, although she too followed her companions back into the hut.
His Majesty then shrugged at Joshua. "You should know what they are, right?"
Only idiots wouldn't be able to tell that they are fairies, the warrior thought.
"My ancestor had once mistakenly entered the Fairyland that was beyond this world and their habitat," Israel explained—he could tell that Joshua already knew their species. "He somehow earned the fairies' appreciation and help, acquiring an eternally indestructible armor and ring that could command the elements."
As he spoke, Israel lifted his hand and showed the warrior his runic ring that wrapped around his forefinger. "Of course, the four fairy ladies just now who were also the four fairies that signed the contract with my ancestor at the time must enter the ring so that it would have the power to command the elements—usually it's just a key for opening the circle."
Joshua slightly nodded. The story that the Founding Emperor of the Northern Empire had earned the fairies' help was a folktale that was widespread amongst the citizens. Nevertheless, there were quite a few evidences that proved it, such as the two out three doorways between the Fairyland and the world of Mycroft being located within the borders of the Northern Empire—the other behind above the central Lifetree of the Far Southern elves.
If this one within the Imperial Capital was accounted for, three out of four Fairyland doorways were essentially inside the Empire.
"This is both the Nameless Palace of the Imperial Capital and the ancient ruins located within the Island of Eversong Lake. The Ancestor had also promised the elves that his perished soul and body would return to Fairyland while his residence would become the doorway that connects the Mycroft Continent for the fairies, maintained by those four fairy ladies."
Having shed light on the relationship between Empire and the elves, Israel started to explain why he had brought Joshua here to this immeasurably secretive place where absolutely nobody could peek. His Majesty was also definitely more relaxed too.
"Almost half a month ago, Nostradamus and I had spotted an incomparably huge dimensional anomaly amidst the storm that was the Great Mana Tide through the observation circles in the Void Star-Observatory. None had felt its presence for over hundreds of years, and it would have stayed hidden for another few centuries if not for the brutal brush of the Great Mana Tide."
"That giant anomaly could move, and slowly orbits around the Mycroft Continent in an unusual path. After some calculations, it was determined to be precisely four hundred-years for one single rotation."
"It had just left the perceivable angles from the Observatory a few days ago, but then I received a communication from the fairies—the ladies had seen the same anomaly."
Fairies did not have gender. The ladies—or they—were unique beings formed from pure energy and could shape their bodies as they liked. When the first ancient civilizations were born, they were all clusters of luminous spheres that shine around diverse elemental assemblage points. However, since the first fairy who first met another intelligent race was a lady, they would interact with the other races in female fairy form most of the time.
Israel's explanation continued. He opened the doors of the plain building and led Joshua within.
Though the old appeared to be decaying the inside was cleaned and tidy—probably the fairies' work.
"It's with the help of the fairies that the Empire could build the Void Star-Observatory," His Majesty said softly. The man she was looking on happily was Andrei with his hands and feet are being tied on all four corners of the bed.

"Wha-What the hell are you guys doing!!!!!" Andrei screamed from the bottom of his heart.

The girl in white silver armor - the stealth mode monotone girl was called by a maid and left the room. Not knowing what to do about the heavy proclamation, taking this chance, Andrei decided to escape,

 "Okay, just like that one anime I watched, I'm not gonna be bounded by royal kingdom ties! I'm gonna explore these continents and eat delicious food everywhere, hmmm, hmmm this is a man's romance - journey!" he proudly said with his right hand on his chest thrilled for an adventure.

Andrei growing up in a modern-era military family since childhood his mind has been hammered with basic knowledge in survival, emergency, and even combat skills, which would also include his escape skills.

"Okay, here we go", he slowly stepped outside the door, and looked around, where he found a long hallway in red carpet, where doors can be seen at each interval, and the ceiling was high, clearly showing that the place was huge.

"I didn't imagine this, but it's really in a castle", Andrei smiled bitterly thinking how big the place was and that the success of his escape would be greatly be affected by the structure of the place which he really didn't know in the first place. He looked over the window to get a slight idea, but he could only see a cliff and a tall stonewall with medieval war tools mounted, but this sight gave him an idea that he was on a very high place. 

He walked through the hallway, hiding from pillar to pillar until he reached a door which was an entrance to a garden. It looked so magical that even in broad daylight, he could see purple-colored firefly-like lights, "Fireflies? In the middle of the day? and they're purple!" He was thrilled but at the same time felt a bit scared not knowing what kind of world did he end up in.

"It wouldn't be surprising if I encounter fairies here, but it wouldn't be funny if they had fangs and start attacking me"

As he walked through the garden the lights surrounded him, there were all kinds of flowers in the garden, some of them he didn't know, he went around sniffing them caressing their petals. He didn't realize that he was already sightseeing, he then got tired and found a bench made of wood covered with vines of roses.

"That would hurt if it had thorns", Andrei stepped closer to the bench and checked if it had thorns and found out that it didn't, which made it perfect for him to sit on.

"Escape is also good, but you need to enjoy the things you want to enjoy," he sat on the bench, spread out his arms wide and looked at the scenery before his eyes. While looking at the beautiful flowers and lights around him, he felt very happy, but at the same time emptiness filled his heart and as he sighed, he let out words of regret and sorrow.

"She would totally love this if she was here"

Whom he meant was the woman who brought colors to his dull-colored life, the one who left a deep hole within his heart when she passed away.

Andrei is an average guy who find peace in his daily boring life with his girlfriend but
when she died from an illness, his soul was shattered into pieces with feeling of powerlessness and guilt, but even still, Andrei keeps on living his daily life for her, putting a facade, that even he doesn't know who he was anymore.

He lost more than half of himself when he lost her.

Years after her death, while working on a project, he finds himself waking up in another world filled with fantasy and magic one can only find in manga or anime. Upon walking around, he stumbles into an incident where he tries to save a girl in peril. 

Exhausted after his heroic act, he loses consciousness and wakes up again in an unfamiliar place where he suddenly becomes the fiance of the Queen of the Kingdom of Ethareri, he tries to knock himself out of the dream, but he finally realizes that it wasn't, he then finds Claire, a docile-looking flat-toned girl having little to no presence at all inside his room without knowing that she was there already from the beginning.

Follow Andrei as he embarks in an adventure full of comedy and tragedy, as how the new world teaches him valuable lessons such as forgiveness, as he, an ordinary human with no power at all, uses only his wits, memories and determination to try and stand up against the invasion of the evil races, saving his newly found love, friends and the world he was thrown into.

In the end, will Andrei choose to stay in the world he have fought for or will he go back to the world for a second chance to relive his daily boring but peaceful life by reviving his ex-girlfriend.

PHASE 84 - A NIGHTMARE-FILLED REALITY

I had a dream once again.


It's not what I have dreamt for the past nights. Most of it involves the shadow, but now that the shadow is no more, I'm up to a different sleep adventure.


When I opened my eyes, I saw myself falling from the skies. It was a dark night, but there are millions of colorful stars. The milky white moon gave out light as if it's generously giving happiness to everyone that sees it.


I find myself riding in a unicorn that has angel-like wings. I'm wearing my high school uniform. Magical fairies danced around me as they playfully sing a cheerful pop song that my Idol Club always performs.


I looked below, and I saw a big city and a huge castle. The city is joyful as it was filled with festival lights. There are paper lanterns flying towards the skies that make it look like giant fireflies. The castle also looks so cheerful as there are cannons that fired fireworks launching up in the heavens. Colorful sparks fly as the loud noise engulfed the surroundings.


"Wooooow…"


My eyes are filled with amazement. I have never seen this place before, and I pretty much know that I'm dreaming. I don't want to wake up as I wanted to enjoy this wonderful experience. I have been experiencing nightmares for the past nights that this dream is a blessing for me.


When my unicorn pegasus landed, it popped into tiny specks of fairy dust. The fairies started to revolve in a roundabout on top of my head as they dance in midair. They look so happy and cheerful that I wanted to sing and dance too. So as I walk, I decided to join them with a hum behind my lips.


"Hmmm hmmm hmmm~" 


As I entered the festival city, I was greeted by an explosion of confetti! Apparently, all the people here in this city looked like stuffed toys. There are walking teddy bears, toy elephants, adorable lion plushies, and even awesome robots. If only Rikkun is here in my dream, I'm sure he'll have fun too.


Plop, plop, plop. 


The squeaky noise whenever the stuffed toys walk is as adorable as it sounds. One of the teddy bears gave me a bacon burger. The second lion plushy gave me a strawberry-vanilla quiche. Then another teddy bear gave me a barbecue stick.


"Whoaaa! Thanks, mister teddy bears~" I said as I took the food and chomped all of it in one go. 


The stuffed animals looked happy when they saw me enjoying myself. After letting me eat, the stuffed animals pointed at one direction- towards the castle.


I march on forward, and most of the stuffed animals followed me as if we're doing a parade. The stuffed animals magically materialized musical instruments such as trombones, triangles, guitar, flute, ukelele, and others. One of the bears gave me a mic which I happily accepted.


I sang a song for the stuffed animals to enjoy as we marched towards the castle. As I skipped on every step, the joyful dance and the happy song I voiced convinced all other animal toys to join my parade. They would salute to me and fire fireworks first before falling in line.


I find myself in front of a short bridge that leads to the entrance of the castle. Underneath the bridge is a river that has crystal clear waters that reflect the lights of the stars, the moon, the flying lanterns, and the fireworks.


The gate of the castle opened when it felt that I was already entering the place. The fairies around me started to poke unto my body, converting my high school uniform into a magical girl's dress. I now have pink bridal gauntlets, pink fairy dress, a beautiful starry tiara (All tiaras are beautiful, like me! Ehehe~), a set of dragonfly-like wings, and a magical stick.


Suddenly, a horde of black teddy bears barricaded the entrance. The cute bears are wielding cartoon-like weapons such as toy laser swords, water guns, styrofoam-loaded bows, and soft maces. Some of them even have adorable pillow shields. The black bears jumped and made squeaky noise as if they want to play a mock battle with me.


"Oh, you want it?" I smiled with glitters on my eyes. "Magical Idol Tiara, ready for battle!"


I spun around, waving my magical stick. My magical stick left pink streak in the air as I turn, which formed into a spiral light. Then I pointed the magical stick to one of the bears.


"Explode! Boom!" I cried out loud like a child. In an instant, my magical stick unleashed a pink orb that rushed to the teddy bear. The teddy bear exploded, and then candy bacon strips flew up in the air!


Seeing that one of the teddy bears exploded, the other teddy bears jumped in joy. They seem like enjoying this as if they wanted to turn into bacon showers with my magical stick. It's like their only goal is to be of service to me by becoming a glorious meal! They all charged forward, with adorable smiles on their faces.


I returned the smile that they have given to me, and I spun once again. This time, I unleashed a barrage of pink orbs that chased the rushing bears, immediately converting them into a confetti of candy bacon! 


Pop! Pop! Pop! Each time the bears get hit, they pop like a pinata. There are hundreds of bacon strips showering off whenever I hit them, so the place was eventually turned into honey bacon shower!


This is heaven!


All of a sudden, the castle in front of me moved. It mechanically transformed its platforms, its towers, and its main walls into a giant teddy bear robot of about a hundred meters in height! It is equipped with quadruple missile cannons, and its mouth is also geared with a photon blaster!


"GAAAAAAOOOOOOOHHH!!!" The gigantic castle-sized Robo-bear roared adorably.


"Eh!? The boss has appeared already!?" I was shocked at first but I know the bear is too adorable to be a threat. With such an enemy, I know that I have to use my trump card in this fight!


I drew a heart using my magical stick in midair and then I touched it with my left hand. I was able to activate my power-up when the heart glowed and transformed my body into an adorable existence!


I am now wearing a white princess gown, with ten wings behind my back. The magical stick completely disappeared, but I know it has now been a part of me. I can feel its magical energy inside my heart.


I used my ten wings to fly and press myself closer to the giant mecha-bear. When I was finally close enough, I touched the snout of the enemy boss with an adorable sound.


Boop!


Upon touching the bear's nose, the bear exploded. It showered triple quarterpounder burgers on its wake, which made me drool! I want to eat it all, seriously!


"That looked delicious!" I cheerfully cried.


When I looked down below, I saw the stuffed animals waving, jumping, and giggling for me. They are cheering for me who had just won the battle. The bears started picking up candy bacon strips and greasy burgers for their dinner.


"This is so much fun!" I cried to myself.

"It looks like you're having so much fun, Tiara."


A familiar voice echoed, which very much ruined my dream. The joyful dream I had slowly become a nightmare... 


...A nightmare-filled reality.


The festival village slowly converted into houses of fire.


The crystal-clear river slowly converted to a pool of blood.


The colorful skies that are filled with stars and the milky-white moon were converted to a dark void with the crimson moon.


The stuffed toys who are celebrating and eating the food turned into shadows, the same ones that killed most of the people dear to me. But instead of only one, there are dozens of them.


The candied bacon and the triple-stack burgers that were filled with cheese, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, and sesame seeds are turned out to be dead bodies of Gate Guardians lying around. The toy weapons they used turned out to be their Weapon Gems.


Ah, it's such a waste that my dream has disappeared. All dreams disappear when the dreamer wakes, so now I'm back with this reality I couldn't bear.


I find myself not in a princess's dress, but on a nightgown that reveals my cleavage and thighs. I have this furry black mane covering the nape of my neck. My hands are also equipped with pitch-black bridal gloves. With this appearance, I look more like a villain witch rather than a charming magical idol.


"You're finally awake." The familiar voice said once again. When I focused my vision forward, I saw the woman who has helped me more than once; Erylle Fontaine.

Since the beginning of time, the world has been the slaughtering ground of the Eidolons; mysterious beings from a parallel universe that contaminates the mind of the people to commit deadly sins. Anberine as they walked enjoyed the soft breeze and how it played with her hair leaving her feeling fuller and energetic. 

Strange that the area could change someone but she could only assume it was because of being cooped up within the castle- the school and the negative vibes that surrounded it.

Out here there was no one who would aim to hurt her, who would be after her for something or leave her feeling uncomfortable. 

She was feeling- dare she admit it... free?

"We're here at the forest" Skye's voice startled her out of her musing to see thick green leaves attached to the trees in front of them signalling that they were now at the entrance to the forest.

At a glance the trees appeared to have needles for leaves while some oak trees clustered together but were mindful of space; it looked interesting but scary given how the area was brimming with magic, potent but it gave the impression that the forest itself was alive. 

It should scare her enough to leave and yet it gave her the feeling of safety, it was peaceful here and left her with the strange feeling that it was calling out to her leaving her confused as to why she would get such a feeling.

The woods to Anberine looked beautiful if not enchanting thanks to the lush trees that appeared undamaged and untainted by human hands. 

Strange that such a forest could cause people to go missing if one wasn't careful enough. 

Then again, she had nothing to fear given how she was only curious about how such a forest could protect a sacred lake that Nimue guarded constantly. 

One would wonder how she felt guarding a sword alone without anyone to visit or acknowledge her existence. Surely it would be a horrible way to live.

"This place is full of magic, they say nymphs and fairies live here" Skye commented with a smile feeling the gentle breeze blowing past the trees, not trusting herself to speak she nodded not noticing that he was guiding her through the forest.

Spying some orbs of light whizzing past in the distance she smiled faintly at how playful the lights were being and quickly guessed that they were fairies. 

Some she caught glimpses of what she could assume were pixies which was odd given that they didn't always get along with anyone but summarized that it was because of the forest had room for most magical creatures. 

Soft gentle noises entered Anberine's ears as they walked over some tree trunks and dead leaves, noises she picked up sounded like a lullaby that almost made her eyes grow heavy until she remembered that some areas would enchant someone into a deep sleep. 

Leaving them unable to wake up no matter how hard people tried and forests like this were no exceptions as they had special things to protect. 

In this case it was a holy sword that the king of old used and placed in a stone, leaving it for his descendants to take once it was their time to save Camelot. 

Looking at the prince Anberine prayed that it was not time given what she had done to him, knowing that once the spell wore off he would no doubt be back to his cruel selfish self leaving her with no confidence that he would be a wise just king.

"It's better it remains untouched, if needs him I don't think we'll be living for much longer" she almost groaned before blinking as a thin light caught her attention, as the light grew larger she was left stunned from seeing a large crystal blue lake. 

Faint light mist could be seen around the area but it was neither dense or noticeable unless one looked closely, fireflies hovered in various parts of the area while a few fairies flew nearby. 

A few giggled in glee while small noises from their wings caught their attention.

"Welcome to Misty Lake" Skye announced in a cheerful tone as he offered his hand to Anberine who was left transfixed by the scene, a soft smile formed on her face while awe could be seen in her eyes. 

Words could not describe how this sacred spring could take her breath away. 

A mini waterfall could be seen bringing water to the lake faintly on the other side of the misty area, the air was fresh and left Anberine. 

In truth it was almost as if the influence of the outer world and the negativity had completely left her very body leaving her with a protective cocoon. 

In a way it was almost as if nothing bad could nor would ever touch her again, which she was sure was a fleeting thought that would pass once they left the enchanted forest. 

Strange that such a place would leave positive feelings despite the fact they were outsiders and had no business entering such a sacred place.

"Then again... I am the outsider" Anberine slowly turned to look at Skye from the corner of her eye who was immersed by the serene area, enchanted by the sacred purified area that would welcome a member of the royal family. 

"The prince on other hand is always welcome here... why even bring someone like me here? As if I deserve to see this place? Yes the books say that it would also welcome lost and weary people who need help, but I am anything lost or in need of help" 

Spotting the quick flickers of light from a distance she paused once a small orb of light flew past her left eye, she watched it in awe as it flew over the lake before bouncing a few times playfully and creating a few ripples on the water.

"It's beautiful" Anberine was left speechless while a ghost smile formed on her face. 

It was until she felt his hand take her left one that she turned to look at him, gesturing for her to follow the prince who guided her towards a tree before setting their bags and basket down by the tree. 

Once the items were secure, Skye quickly helped her sit on the soft edges of the grass by the roots and then sat down beside her as she rested against a tree. 

His slightly pale fingers felt the soft strands of the grass that tickled his fingers slightly as the light wind blew through them. 

His red hair tousled as a result which almost caused his eyes to be covered, however his eyes remained focused on both the lake and Anberine who soon took out her book and a pencil. 

Smiling he watched her as her pencil made a few brushing and scraping noises on the paper leaving him to guess she was drawing.

"It's nice to see that you're doing something other than studying a lot, it made me worry that your hair would go white from all that stress you were putting yourself under" Skye blurted out causing her to look up from her book, her eyes narrowed as she frowned at him for being rude since he didn't take studying serious anyways. 

Without warning she slammed the book shut and folded her hands politely on her lap catching his attention at how quickly her demeanour changed thanks to his comment.

"It does pay to study you know, for example like theory it maybe just the basic knowledge but it can help you. Especially when you're trying to practice magic since you don't know what to expect. That is unless you gain an idea of how things works. You know... brains does beat brawn, not that you care about studying since you would rather play with your wooden stick than stick your nose in a book for more than two minutes" she spoke bluntly before resuming her drawing of the area. 

Startled Skye's face went red from the comment knowing that she had called him out on how he treated his studies and his outdoor activities.

"I-uh... I'm going for a swim" Skye stammered as he hastily took his jacket and boots off laying them against a nearby tree.

'Called it' she muttered dryly before hearing a splash minutes after the comment, her brows went up as she eyed her book before her chest went up and down thanks to a sigh that exited through her nose.

"Might as well get back to it" she slowly packed away her sketchbook before picking out her book on the History of Magic, thankful for the peace and quiet despite hearing a few slaps of water caused by the prince swimming.



A plan that was supposed to involve saving her friends turned into a full-blown mess that plagues Anberine wherever she goes. 
The worst part is that it's not just any boy, it was the King's Son! 
How will she cope with her bully who now behaves like a puppy on not just any leash- her leash!

Short Except-

"What could you possibly want with her?" Marcus asked coldly only to pause as he saw Prince Skye show Anberine a withered purple flower which had yellow on the bottom petal that he had in his right jacket pocket. 

Anberine's mouth parted while her eyes as she narrowed them showed she was in disbelief, what was he up to?

"Seriously...? A dead flower?" Anberine asked dryly not at all impressed by what he was up to.

"Well it matches your eyes" Skye commented as he saw her newly changed violet eyes which were still not amused, clearing his throat he kept the flower visible "Violets that sparkle, flowers despite withering never suit you anymore than they do now" Skye said mentally blinking at what he was saying.

'Wait what? What did I just say?!' Prince Skye screamed mentally not believing what he had just said. 'Why did I said something so dumb?' he berated himself for the stupid comment.

"What?" Marcus was left baffled while Anberine was even more confused, to prove she was confused she tilted her head and her expression showed she was completely lost.

"What has he been drinking?" Anberine asked still in shock as she tried to observe any features that would have been off.

"Did you sneak a sip from your father's wine cellar? Or did you hit your head when no one was looking?" Anberine asked bluntly now looking at Marcus who shrugged.

"I did drink something" Prince Skye admitted causing the pair to stare at him quickly, that was odd why was he admitting anything and to them no less? 
"I've been drinking in your beauty and for a rat-faced girl, you look cute" he added with a sly smile.
