You suck in one more breath before quickly snatching off your black beanie, closing your eyes, ready to run away. For a minute everything is quiet until Hoseok breaks the silence.

"OMO! YOU'RE SO CUTE!!" Hoseok screams out as he pulls you into his chest, giving you a tight hug.

A moth sees a firefly for the first time. He new he had feelings for him the second he saw him. 

The firefly know the moth and always had a thing for him.

Zaidan memberanikan diri meraih tangan Hazel dan menggenggamnya lembut. "Jangan bergantung padaku. Kamu harus kuat dan percaya diri. Tidak bisakah kamu begitu sehingga aku tidak terlalu khawatir?"

Hazel terisak. "A-aku—"

"Aku ingin memberimu kesempatan. Apapun takdirmu, maupun masa depanmu, aku ingin memberimu kesempatan untuk bahagia. Aku tak ingin mengacaukan hidupmu, jadi berhentilah mencintaiku." Zaidan kembali meminta untuk yang kesekian kalinya.

Kedua tangan Hazel bergetar, menghempaskan tangan Zaidan dalam satu hentakkan. "Aku akan hidup seperti yang kuinginkan, jadi pergilah kalau kau tidak menyukainya. Begitu maksudmu? Kenapa tidak berkata seperti; mari mencoba saling memahami dan  lewati semua ini bersama-sama. Kenapa tidak seperti itu?"

Zaidan menunduk dan menggelengkan kepalanya pelan. "Sebab aku tidak yakin itu akan berhasil." Pria itu kembali mengangkat dagunya lalu tersenyum kecut. "Aku fikir ... mencintaimu adalah kesalahan. Jadi, mari ambil jalan masing-masing dan temukan kebahagiaan masing-masing."

"T-tapi—" gumam Hazel gugup.

"Aku ingin kamu kembali ke kehidupanmu!" pinta Zaidan. Menatap manik mata Hazel, mencoba mengalirkan rasa cinta dari sorot matanya.

"Tidak! hiks." Kali ini Hazel tak mampu lagi menahan tangisnya. Mencekal kedua tangan Zaidan kuat, menangis meraung seakan tak ada hari esok. "Aku ingin hidup denganmu, menjadi tua bersamamu, menggenggam tangan keriputmu, dan mengatakan aku semakin mencintaimu," tutur Hazel. Kembali menggenggam tangan Zaidan dan membasahi dengan air matanya. "I wanted to be happy for once. But—"

"Kelak kita akan bertemu lagi, itu akan menjadi hari terindah," ujar Zaidan sambil mengambil sesuatu dari saku sweater Hazel. Sebuah beanie hat putih yang sempat ia selipkan disana saat Hazel tertidur.

"Be-beanie?" tanya Hazel gugup.

Beanie hat putih milik Zaidan yang sempat ia kenakan dikepala Hazel 18 tahun yang lalu. Benda kecil yang berhasil menjadi saksi jatuhnya kedua hati dalam satu lubang yang sama. Sebuah kain yang sukses menjadi bukti tentang adanya cinta abadi, tak pernah luntur, tak pernah gugur, dan akan selalu tumbuh subur. Dan kali ini mereka mengulangnya lagi. Zaidan baru saja menaruh kedua tangannya diatas kepala Hazel dan mengenakan beanie hat itu diatasnya.

"Aku ingin kamu bahagia lebih lama lagi. Setidaknya dikehidupan sana kamu masih punya kesempatan untuk merubah takdir." Gumam Zaidan bertepatan dengan turunnya air hujan.

Hal yang sama terjadi kembali. Bedanya kali ini mereka memilih untuk tak berteduh. Zaidan masih menahan kedua tangannya dikepala Hazel, menarik ujung beanie hat itu secara perlahan sampai menutupi kedua mata wanitanya. Mendekatkan wajah dan memiringkan rahangnya. Sepasang mata cokelat hazel-nya terpejam, mengembuskan nafas hangatnya tepat didepan wajah Hazel. Kembali menangis tanpa sepengetahuan Hazel. Dan berbisik untuk yang terakhir kalinya. "You always be My Hazel . I'm the only man who has eternal love. And my eternal love ... is you."

Keduanya menangis bersama dibawah rinai hujan. Hazel spontan melingkarkan kedua tangan disekeliling leher Zaidan, sedangkan Zaidan lebih dulu menahan tengkuk Hazel dengan satu tangannya. Ini memang bukan ciuman pertama, bisa dibilang ini adalah ciuman terindah disepanjang hidup mereka. Tanpa seorang pun tahu apakah ciuman ini akan menjadi kenangan terakhir mereka atau tidak. Namun yang pasti, keduanya saat ini melakukannya sangat bersungguh-sungguh. Tak perduli akan mata lain yang  memandang, tak perduli pada langit yang menangisi mereka, juga tak perduli dengan dinginnya air hujan, dan gelapnya angkasa malam.

Keduanya tak bisa berhenti menangis, tak perduli dengan bibir yang terus bertautan. Mereka tetap melakukannya seakan tak ada hari esok, seolah tengah mengukir kenangan untuk yang terakhir kalinya. Dan ini adalah kenangan terindah yang tak bisa mereka lupakan sampai kapanpun. Sekalipun keduanya harus mengalami amnesia, untuk malam ini, tetap akan membekas. Dan kehangatan ini membawa mereka kembali pada memori yang telah berlalu. Tentang pertemuan diperpustakaan Depok, kejutan manis diroofop INDOnews, Hazel Star, dansa dimansion Bali, dan pertemuan pertama 18 tahun lalu.

"Zaidan," gumam Hazel setelah Zaidan melepaskan tautan bibir mereka.

Hazel tak bisa berhenti menangis apalagi setelah tahu bahwa diam-diam Zaidan kembali memasangkan kalung milik Abriana dilehernya. Sekarang Hazel tahu, Zaidan bukan menganggapnya Abriana, dia hanya ingin Hazel menjadi kebahagiaannya seperti Abriana dulu.

Jangan pernah menemuinya apalagi sampai mengencaninya. Sejak awal, mencintai Hazel adalah sebuah kesalahan."

"T-tapi––"

"Sekarang aku melepasmu. Pergilah dan jangan pernah kembali. Jangan pernah mencintaiku, dengan begitu masa depan kita akan berubah. Dan karena itu pula, hari ini takkan pernah terulang lagi," tutur Zaidan dengan senyum pilu. Memandangi tubuh Hazel yang perlahan berubah menjadi cahaya terang seperti bintang, menghilang, dan terbang ke angkasa malam.

"Hazel, cerita kita sudah usai. Tugasmu sekarang hanya melupakanku." 

Hazel Star, perempuan pilihan yang pergi ke masa depan lewat perantara novel fiksi "The Eternal Love". Dia terkejut setelah tiba-tiba bangun disebuat tempat asing dan juga mendapatkan suprise anniversary dari tokoh novel yang dibacanya didunia nyata, Zaidan Abriana.

Hazel juga terkejut setelah tahu bahwa saat itu dia tengah berada ditahun 2022. Tak hanya itu, disana juga Hazel memiliki profesi sebagai presenter berita INDOnews, sekaligus kekasih dari jurnalis yang memiliki julukan "Face Genius" karena ketampanannya, Zaidan Abriana.

We are on a train station.
There were fences on the side, ground and rails.
The waiting ground seems to be large while there's a higher ground on the entrance.
It was not that huge but was enough to fit multiple people.
There were also entrances on the side but it is lower ground.
"As I promised, I will take you all to paradise!" we hear a motivated speech from a man.
He had an undercut and seems to be about 24 years old.
He had black slightly spiky hair, black serious eyes and tanned skin. 
He had a companion; a woman with curly and short brown hair and yellow eyes, a man with blue short hair and black serious eyes, a man with bangs and red eyes and last but not the least, a green haired girl with blue turtle hoodie.
They seemed to be leading a group of people on a train.
"Lucas, they're still chasing us" says the girl on a hoodie.
"I know" says the tanned man.
"What should we do?" the girl on the hoodie asks.
"Tsch" he clenches his teeth.
"Let everyone in and let's check out if we could deal with them" says the man with red eyes.
"Much better" the girl with curly hair reacts.
Finally, all the people manage to enter the train.
Lucas picks up a radio and says something.
"Mechanic, start it and go to the place we marked"
"There'd be a huge building there where everyone will get what they need"
"Food, Clothes, Medicine, All of it"
"It's the paradise!" says Lucas.
"Thank you for helping us this far Mr. Lucas" says the mechanic.
The train then starts and goes away.
The 5 anticipates the incoming threat they assume.
Just as they expect, 6 appeared.
Two of them are familiar; Leila and Chronos.
They had companions as well;
A man with built body wielding a covered katana and wears tank tops, he had a beard and ponytail. 
A man with a black hat and looked as if he likes cards. He had a dark brown hair and black serious eyes.
A man with a clothe that seems to cover his arms but had an ability to materialize guns. He had a messy grey hair and wears a beanie.
And last but not the least, a woman with purple hair and purple eyes wielding a staff.
"Where are you trying to do?" Chronos asks as she levitates along with her crystals.
"Outlaws?" she adds.
The woman with the staff spins her weapon then speaks.
"Don't mind me. I'm just here for the mission and reward... like always" she says then smiles.
The man with ponytail holds his sword and makes metal sounds.
The man with hat smirks while the man with a beanie summons a P90.
As Lucas sees that they're trying to intimidate them, he speaks out.
"Don't move an inch" he threatens.
"It'll be chaotic" he adds.
The woman with curly hair summons a spear.
The man with red eyes and bangs summons a great sword.
The man with blue short hair summons his steel gauntlets.
The girl with turtle hoodie summons crystals as well.
"I don't even care if we're twins, I'll kill you if you make a mistake" the girl with turtle hoodie threatens Chronos.
"Scary" she says then smiles.
Strong gust of wind flows as everyone tries to taunt on each other.
"I don't understand why are you all trying so hard to stop us"
"We're just trying to give people what they deserve!" says the man with red eyes and bangs.
Chronos rolls in the air as she levitates, stops and crosses her legs as she lies in the air on side position then talks.
"It's a mission. It's literally on the board" says Chronos then smirks.
"I know you know what missions are, you Syrum smuggler" Chronos adds as she points to Lucas.
Everyone was surprised.
"What is she talking about?" the curly hair asks Lucas without looking.
It was silence for 5 seconds until Lucas starts speaking.
"It's true"
"I smuggled the Syrums" he admits.
Chronos then moves her palms on her face as she lies in the air by her stomach then speaks with a smug "See, you're a criminal" she says.
"What are syrums?" asks the man with short blue hair.
The man with katana then starts talking.
"Syrums are liquids that unlocks a human's hidden traits and power when injected" he explains.
Everyone on Lucas' side was surprised but the curly hair asked him.
"Are those the thing you injected us to become this?" she asks.
"Yes. I smuggled them" Lucas answers with eyes closed.
He then opens them and continues talking.
"But I did them to do what is right. That Co. is doing what we do for years and achieved nothing" 
"They're just clearing and clearing a place again because they failed to maintain it"
"Or..."
"They intentionally fail to maintain it" he says.
"What they're doing isn't helping"
"They may say, they're doing this to make places habitable and more humans would thrive"
"But it's a big lie!" he angrily ends it.
Chronos clenches her teeth then immediately answers.
"You're a lie, criminal" 
"Smuggler"
"Thief"
"Degenerate" she angrily speaks.
"Let me ask you Chronos. Do you really think you're working on the right side?" Lucas asks Chronos.
Chronos paused.
She then replied.
"I sure do and I get rewarded for it" she answers.
By signing, Lucas commands his gang to stand back.
Naturally, the other side did as well without Chrono's commands.
Chronos looked at her gang as they move then looked back to Lucas.
Lucas then starts talking.
"Are you sure people benefit from what you do?" Lucas asks.
"I'm sure they do! We clear stuff for them so more places becomes habitable!" Chronos nervously replied.
"If you're really sure. Tell me how many people had talked to you and say thanks" says Lucas.
Chronos went silent.
It lasted for 5 seconds as she starts blinking randomly.
"It's an endless loop" says Lucas.
"You clear a place, they intentionally pretend that Corons conquered the place again when its them planting those at the first place" 
"Make up your mind. Human race is dying and you're helping the wrong people" says Lucas.
Suddenly, a voice speaks in the distance.
"Join us, sister" says the girl with turtle hoodie.
"Spacia..." says Chronos whispers as she's about to shed a tear.
She then stops levitating and slowly goes down to stand up.
After that, she started talking.
"I'll be honest" Chronos speaks as she looks down.
"I know what you're doing is right"
"But the thing is..."
"That dumb shit turtle..." she then clenches her teeth then looks at Spacia in the eyes as she cries.
"You failed to save me!" she shouts.
"Spacia?" the girl with curly hair looks at her as well as the others.
"B-but..." Spacia starts stuttering.
"The disease had no cure way back. I don't know what to do"
"If I do know, of course I'll save you because you're my sister" she explains.
"You don't know what to do?" Chronos then sarcastically looks at her.
"More like... you don't wanna do anything" she says then sends a fake smile.
She then tells a story.
"It was noon, I have an extremely high fever"
"The viruses already conquered me"
"I am shivering"
"My body hurts"
"My head hurts"
"And you know what you did when I was on that bed hoping I could live?" says Chronos then wipes her tears.
"I..."
"Do..." Spacia slowly replies.
"What did you say?" the man with red eyes asks.
However, Chronos replied.
We see Spacia taking care of Chronos as she lies in bed.
Spacia and Chronos was currently wearing dirty casual clothes as this very moment and Spacia was carrying Chronos by her head.
The house seems to be compilation of materials that can be loot such as spare wood, spare roof, wires and plastics.
"I'm sorry. I couldn't do anything" says Spacia as she looks at Chronos' face.
"Sister... save me..." Chronos replied as if she's struggling to breathe.
She then coughs.
There were blood on her mucus and saliva.
Spacia gave a panicking look as she sweats.
She then holds Chronos' hands and speaks as she cries.
"I really couldn't do anything"
"I'll be leaving you now Chronos..." she says then stops holding her hand.
She then drops Chronos on the bed and walks away.
"I don't wanna see you die" she tells without looking.
Chronos watched her walk away until she finally disappears.

Now on present, we see Spacia giving a look of guilt.
"You left me alone"
"You are very irresponsible" says Chronos as her emotions modify the tone of her speech.
Gust of wind flows again as they stare on each other.
"But I took care of you and tried my best hoping you'd survive!" Spacia screams out.
"The moment you coughed blood, I considered you dead"
"But that doesn't mean I don't love you!" she explains.
Chronos ignored then removes her hoodie to fix her messy hair.
After fixing, we fully see her short white hair and motivated eyes.
"Lucky enough, Professor Victor saved me and recruited me to the Co. after I was cured" says Chronos.
"I owe my life to him and I'll do everything the Co. wants me to do" she adds. 
She then returns the hoodie.
"I can't even believe I'd see you there" says Chronos then looks away.
Lucas then interrupts.
"So you say, you will do everything even if its wrong?" he asks.
"What do you mean wrong? You're all outlaws" Chronos replied with serious tone.
Lucas then crosses his arms.
"But you said..."
"You know what we're doing is right" says Lucas.
Chronos paused again.
She then replied.
"Outlaws are outlaws regardless of what you do" says Chronos then she smiles.
"Plus"
"I don't give a fuck" she ends.
Lucas and Chronos had a staredown for about 7 seconds.
Chronos looked away on the last 2.
Lucas finds this as an opportunity to steam his hands and punch Chronos to the face.
As the fist comes, Chronos sensed it and looks.
She gasps then the punch caused her to slide back and lie using her right arm.
She then checks out the damage.
Her lips were bleeding.
"What did you do!?" she screams.
"Something you deserve" Lucas replied.
After this, the man with katana immediately moved and pushes Lucas to a fence using the handle.
He then attempts to connect it with a stab but the girl with curly hair disjoints it with her spear by slamming downwards.
Lucas gets himself together and punches the man with Katana on his face.
He attempts to slash but the girl with curly hair blocks again then impales him upwards.
As the man with katana was impaled upwards, the man with a hat sends out a card that exploded to the girl with curly hair.
She was pushed to the fence.
The man then dashes and attempts to land another card but it was blocked by the man with red eyes and wields a greatsword.
The card then explodes on the sword but the man stood his grip and he resists it.
He then runs towards the card throwing man then performs a downward swing that crushed him.
He was crushed while holding a card.
"Splat" Leila reacts from a distance.
"I actually don't wanna help" says the man with a beanie.
Suddenly, he sees an opening.
The man with greatsword was panting.
He then summons a sniper rifle and attempts to shoot him.
Finally, he shoots.
We see the bullet travelling as it pierced through the man with red eye's head.
It was a direct hit.
"Edgar!" the woman with curly hair notices.
The name of the dead man seems to be Edgar.
"Edgar!" Lucas shouts as well.
He then slowly drops.
Spacia notices it as well and look at where is it from.
She sees Leila and the man with a beanie.
Seeing the man with a beanie is carring a gun, she then immediately blasts him with crystals.
There were so many of then and his crushed body was pinned on the wall.
Leila felt the impact and realized she doesn't wanna help at all.
She stood back in fear and stayed.
Chronos heard it and asks Leila.
"What is that?" she asks.
Suddenly Leila starts running away and passed to Chronos.
Chronos then slowly stands up and looks.
She sees Spacia has summoned crystals as she points somewhere.
She then goes out and sees the man on a beanie crushed and pinned by the crystals.
His eyes suddenly falls and rolls then looks at Chronos.
Chronos gasps.
She then watches Spacia's next move.
The woman wielding a staff sneakily goes on her side then attempts to cast a spell.
An energy was charged at the top of the staff and is now ready to land a blast.
Chronos immediately notices it and she dodged but it caused the woman with curly hair to get hit on her gut.
It made a hole and she looked at it.
Lucas notices and calls her name.
"Adari!" he shouts then catches her as she drops.
"Adari, respond" Lucas talks to the woman with curly hair who seems to be Adari as he carries her by her head.
Her reaction looks empty and doesn't respond at all.
Full of anger, Spacia summons crystals and blasts the woman.
She then pins her to the fence and followed.
"Spare me"
"Spare me" the woman begs.
Spacia levitates and creates a long spear then stabs the woman on the gut, creating the same hole.
She then removes the spear and watches the view behind and smiles.
The woman died.
Meanwhile, the man with katana stands up and removes the spear that impaled him.
He unsheathes his katana and sneakily charges on Lucas' back then performs an enchanted slash on Lucas' side.
Lucas bleeds.
He then immediately looks at where its from and performs a steamed downward punch on the man with katana.
The man drops and Lucas mounted him.
He then lands multiple punches.
The man died but the slash that Lucas took is just as great as the punches he sent.
He then slowly drops on the side.
Suddenly, footsteps were heard behind Chronos.
It was so fast and Chronos didn't notice what was happening.
Suddenly, a choke was felt on her neck.
It was the man with blue hair.
She gasps.
"Let me go!"
"Let me go!" Chronos begs.
Spacia hears it and immediately looks for her sister.
She sees Chronos getting choked by her companion.
She doesn't know how to help.
"Kiyaaak!...." Chronos screams.
As she isn't tall and was a short girl, the man with blue hair carries her upwards and constricts her gut as well.
"Hngg... yia!..." Chronos struggles.
Her legs move up and down and she lost control of her power as she is slowly losing consciousness.
 "N...gnee... n...gnee..." she tries to breathe but its hopeless.
Spacia doesn't know what to do with Chronos as she is her sister after all.
She then looks for Lucas to ask him what do to.
"Lucas" she slowly turns around.
As she looks, she sees Lucas was dead.
Thinking no one is left to see her and Spacia couldn't handle Chronos screaming like a pig anymore.
She sends out shards to the man with blue hair.
"I'm sorry Clark..." she says as she lands them.
Clark stops the choke to deflect the incoming crystals from Spacia.
Chronos was sweating hard and she drops down on crawling position then coughed.
(Cough) (Cough) (Cough) (Cough)
She then started breathing rapidly to catch up.
She then looks back and sees Spacia fighting Clark.
Spacia keeps on sending crystals but Clark is just deflecting them.
Chronos watches as she lies and sees the look of Spacia's face as she fights Clark.
It was serious with shed of tear in her left eye.
She then watches.
Suddenly, Clark dashes and tackles Spacia down on the lower ground.
Spacia lost her balance causing her to hit her head first and get her neck broken.
Chronos was angered by that tackle and before Clark looks down, she blasted him with crystals causing him to drop on lower ground.
Chronos chases then summons more crystals above as Clark lies and barrages him without looking.
She then walks back and checks out if Spacia is alright.
Chronos carried Spacia by her head and removes the hoodie.
They looked exactly the same except Chronos had white hair while she had light green.
She then shakes Spacia's head by her cheek to check out if she can her wake up.
"Sister..." she calls but Spacia isn't responding.
She calls again.
"Sister..."
Just as well, she didn't receive any respond.
She then cries again and slowly place Spacia on the ground.
Suddenly, Chronos received a message from her watch.
"Did Lucas manage to start the train?" the "Boss" asked.
Chronos ignored and looks at Spacia then hugs her as she cries.
More message kept on coming but Chronos is ignoring them.

Not so long, Chronos managed to return at the HQ with a frown.
Suddenly, a mysterious man approaches her and talks.
"You seem not responding to us" he says but was ignored.
He then holds Chronos' shoulders.
"There's something wrong with you"
"Let me give you a gift" says the man as he shows a collar from his back.
He then forcibly puts it on Chronos and immediately sends out a shock.
"Gya!" Chronos felt it and lies down.
The man then looks down at her and speaks.
"That would stay until you're fine" says the man then walks away.
Hopeless, she started checking messages she missed.
"You might be busy fighting them right now"
"We're just going wait it come on Area 3 and go Kaboom" 
"Have fun Chronos"

the music from the guitar quieten Umnatu and decided to follow the sounds towards the empty meadow of flowers and saw a girl singing and playing a guitar on top of the building right next to a giant bell.

Bai Xinghe cackled loudly. The scales on every rising dragon head on the back of the Dragon King Battlesuit were standing up, triggering the most dazzling sound and visual effects.

"You leave me no choice!" Li Yao gritted his teeth. The balls of lightning on the surface of the Mystic Skeleton Battlesuit were continuously expanding and spreading out, enshrouding almost half of the dark palace in thunderstorm. He shouted, "I'll show you the invincibility of the superlative height of the Core Formation Stage!"
The two of them turned into two streaks of brightness almost at the same time. After an ear-splitting collision that was even more violent and exciting than a supernova outbreak, more than half of the dark palace collapsed. Bai Xinghe screamed in excruciating pain. Dragging his bloody, broken body that was riddled with holes, he struggled painfully in the middle of the debris, uttering the last moan before his death.

The brilliance interweaved into an overwhelming web deep inside his eyes. His face suddenly turned extremely awful. Gritting his teeth, he commanded, "Ask all the starships that haven't entered the ports to stop and maintain the battle formation. Make sure that the assault teams are all in position and ready for boarding battles anytime!"
"What?" The advisor of the fleet was dazed. "Boarding battle? Against whom?"
"Go now!" Bai Xingjian glared at him.
His judgement proved to be very correct.

"Okay. Do you think you can come to work?" he asked. 

"No. I'm still feeling homicidal. Please allow me four more days after this," I purred. 

"No way to speed this up?" he asked downcast. 

"Send him home and I'll be there tomorrow," I purred thinking about what I could do with Sakazuki. 

"Sigh, I cant do that... Why not send a clone to help?" Sengoku asked. 

"Because they have my other personalities in them. If I'm happy, none of them are. Who knows, I may send a lustful dumbass or a murderous one, nya," I chuckled. 

"Yeah.. Dont do that," he said. 

"Okay. How has work been, nya?" 

"Its just another stack of paperwork... Have you read anything about a Teach?" he asked. 

"Oh, the guy who back stabbed his captain and has a few marines in his pay roll? What of him?" I asked. 

".....He wants to be a warlord."

"He just wants clearance into the prison to get some dumbasses from level 8," I yawned. 

"Where are the papers on him?" he asked.

"Balthazar Salazar Lucifer! Did you hide paperwork from Sengoku?!" Sakazuki yelled at me through the door, Sengoku behind him. 

I woke up slightly, "Not from him. From the spy. I was going to bring it home and tell him but then this happened." 

"What spy?! Who is.." Sengoku asked but I interrupted. 

"I have a suspicion it's a devil fruit user. That's why I made the boxes explosive," I hummed, happily. 

"How will that help?" Sengoku asked. 

"Because I used sea stone fragments to make the boxes. If it combusts, itll go everywhere. To make sure nobody found out, I disguised it inside a normal book," I said and rolled in my blankets. 

"What are you doing in there?" Sakazuki growled. 

"Rolling in blankets," I answered quickly. My fear of not having his hot sticky liquid in me outweighed any embarrassment I had with that statement. 

"Are there any other papers you hid?" Sengoku asked. 

"Yes. Ace is suspected of being Roger's kid but nobody ever bothered with a test. Well I did. He is not a match for Roger's," I said and silently sneezed. 

"Anything else?" Sengoku growled. 

"Er... no, nope, nu-uh," I sneezed again. 

"Lucifer!" Sakazuki yelled. 

"Its not finished! I wont give it up!" I hissed. 

"Alright, that's enough! What is going on with you, Lucifer?" Sengoku said angrily. 

"If I show you. You will never speak of it to anyone or you can kiss the hidden investigations goodbye," I growled as I stood at the door with only boxers on. 

"Alright, I agree to your terms," Sengoku stated. 

"Voice command 076286, Code Alpha, edit conditions 1 and 7. Condition 1 changed to barriered doorway instead of door. Condition 7 changed to prevent smell of none alpha instead of prevent sight from all except my alpha," I told my phone. 

"Verified. Please enter password and retina scans to complete change," my phone called out.

As I put in my retina scan, I heard Sengoku question Sakazuki who I was talking to. My phone dinged, "Scan complete." 

I opened the door wearing nothing but boxers and a blanket. I met eyes with Sakazuki and my ears and tail stood before I hissed quietly, "Bastard...." 

Sengoku stared at me oddly, "So you grew cat ears and a tail... tails? Why cant you come to work?"

Sakazuki answered this time, "Its his first mating season." 

Sengoku went red faced and looked at Sakazuki like he was crazy. I hissed, "I'm territorial, moody, and will jump anyone I see fit. In all three cases, they would die. However, if my recognized alpha stays in close proximity to me, it's not as bad."

"What does that have to do with him undressing in your room?" Sengoku asked confused. 

"He proved he was still alpha and I've lost my right to challenge him again," I said then hissed at Sakazuki. 

"Dont. Hiss. At. Me!" Sakazuki growled. 

I hissed louder, "Dont hang up on me!"

Sengoku interjected, "So basically, your feline instincts are making demands. Is there another way to tone it back?"

"Dont enter my territory. Other alphas should stay away as well. Give me a couple cats," I listed then met eyes with Sakazuki again and hissed, "I'll bite you if you come in here." 

Sengoku blocked my sight from Sakazuki, "Does it matter what kind of cats?"

"Young ones. It's not the optimal solution though," I said after calming down. 

"Why is that?" he asked. 

"Because I'd be taking them as my kids until this blows over," I said seriously, "I dont want kids." 

"Okay, so you said being near your alpha helps. Is it scent or sight thing?" he asked. 

"Scent mostly but also touch. Alphas have a tendency to bite, so I'd need him to bite my neck," I said and squinted, "My ears and tails cant be hidden while this is happening." 

"So have him sleep on your jacket and he can come whenever you need him to," Sengoku said. 

"I'd need a place of my own to work at that you cant come close to. And nobody can touch me. Or make eye contact. Or touch my things. Or challenge me. Or bother me... I may kill someone if they do," I said and frowned. 

"So go to work in a bad mood so people leave you alone. That desk is yours so do what you want with the immediate area. What do you consider as a challenge? What if it's an accident?" Sengoku asked. 

"Questioning me is challenging me, unless 'he' is there or I've accepted them. My tails give me away, puffy fur means back the fuck off, twitching ear means shut the fuck up, twitching tail means keep doing what your doing, flattened ears means I want to bite someone. Basic cat body language. Down side, I flip moods easily, as you've seen," I said quietly. 

"Alright... and what is a last ditch fail safe to make you stop doing something before something bad happens?" He asked. 

I looked at him like he was stupid, "You are an unproven alpha, so is Kuzan, Borselino, and Garp. One of you just has to fight me until 'he' comes or you have to stake claim as my alpha. Which will be impossible because you'd have to break my will." 

"They wouldnt dare," Sakazuki growled. 

I hissed at him, "I'd put up a fight against them, they have no chance." 

"Is there anything else?" Sengoku said fed up. 

"The smell of blood makes me fiesty. My tails will puff up but twitch side to side. I would bite someone if they stayed close to me," I said and looked at Sakazuki, "But I'd gladly bite you for any reason."

Sengoku looked at me oddly, "Any thing else?"

I looked Sengoku up and down before squinting, my tails puffed up and ears twitching. I put my hand on the barrier and deactivated it under bathroom protocol. I tried to bite Sengoku but Sakazuki had already grabbed my tails and pulled me back, holding my throat, whispering into my ear, "If you dare to bite anyone, I'll make you break again."

My body shivered remembering the night. I stared at the floor, wide eyed and silent, unable to think. 

Sengoku frowned, "You said spending an entire day with Sakazuki would shorten the time?"

Sakazuki let go of my throat and I spoke, "Yes. I guess it might also work if I have someone to lord over...."

"What do you mean?" Sakazuki growled. 

"Having someone bend to my every whim and never question me.... Lording over them...," I said and tried to look at him. 

"So you want me to tell Ryu to be your secretary for the day?" Sengoku asked. 

Thinking about it, I grinned mischievously and my tails flicked side to side, "I could do that." 

Sakazuki growled, "Then take a shower and get dressed. Wear a hoodie and long coat." 

As I was released, I went and showered before putting on a suit, beanie, and trench coat. I went back into my room, placed my closet door and scrolled to the scarf section. Finding a very long black scarf, I took it and handed it to Sakazuki. 

He grumbled, snatched the scarf and unbuttoned his shirt, "Take the beanie off and put on a different hat."

I grumbled but did as told, finding a black fedora. I put it on and my ears flattened as I frowned angrily, "I dont like this."

"Good, now put the scarf on....," Sakazuki put the scarf on me and made the sides cover my ears more, "There. Now go to work. Maybe I'll let you sleep in my room."

I licked my lips hearing that and nodded. Sengoku shook his head and we were off to work.

When I entered the office, I was glaring at everyone. Sengoku shook his head and as he passed the gossipmonger of the office, he grumbled, "When I was his age, when we were sick we went to work. I'll kick that dumbass the next time he keeps Lucifer home for something so stupid." 

I went to my seat in Sengoku's office and started touching everything of mine, rubbing it on my body and clothes. Sengoku came in and I watched him avoid my area and sit down. Ryu came in not long later, "You called for me sir?" 

Before Sengoku could respond, Ryu looked at me and smiled slightly. Sengoku turned his chair to the side, ready to move, "Lucifer isnt feeling well. Focus on him for the rest of the day." 

Ryu nodded, "Yessir. I'll do my best." 

I muttered under my breath, "Stop looking at him..."

Sengoku frowned, "Split the rest of the paperwork in half and give it to Lucifer."

"Yessir," Ryu said and quickly left. 

I growled at Sengoku quietly, "I dont like this."

"Then take the hat off," he said and looked over some papers. 

My ear twitched, "He smells like you. I dont like it."

"Then do something about it," he said amused. 

Ryu came in and placed two boxes next to my desk and three next to Sengoku's, "Lucifer isnt feeling well so I gave him less work. Sorry sir."

I grinned and looked at Ryu, "Please come here..."

Sengoku had an angry look at the paperwork but was angrier when Ryu stood next to my desk as if natural. Noticing my grin, Sengoku was furious and about to move Ryu. 

He was too late. I pulled Ryu into my lap and put my head over his shoulder, "I'm cold... Stay here."

Ryu nodded meakly and fidgeted a bit until he was comfortable. He was at the edge of my lap, so I frowned and pulled him against my body, "Here."

"This is a bit...." Ryu said quietly. 

Sengoku grumbled, "Lucifer, knock that off."

I was mad so I hissed, "Dont tell me what to do." 

Ryu froze, my hat fell off and my ears stayed laid back. Sengoku put his hands up in surrender, "I realize this is a difficult time for you but you need to take in consideration if he wants to."

I grumbled a bit and put my face in my scarf, "I cant read signs. If you dont like something then say it and be blunt about it."

Ryu nodded a bit, "Can I ask what happened?"

"Late bloodline thing.... I've been hiding my feline side because I dont like being touched. Women like cats. No thanks. But I cant hide them for the duration of my 'sickness'. Since dad is working, he cant help. I dont want kids or pets. So my options left are not many and I'll have a bad attitude 99% of the time," I said quietly and looked over a paper before hiding it and whispering, "Shhh...."

"So, what can I do to help?" Ryu asked. 

"Dont look at Sengoku, Aokiji, Kizaru, Akainu, Garp, and all other aggressive men... Dont let them touch you either... And dont touch my tails or ears," I said and smelled him, "You sent his laundry, didnt you?"

"Y-yes.. Is there a problem?" Ryu asked worriedly. 

"Yes... Turn around and sit. I dont want you looking at him.. Or him you.. And I cant put my scent on your front side like this," I said and sat back. 

Ryu didnt move at first but eventually turned around, "I dislike sitting still." 

I grumbled and handed him a book, "Then read."

He nodded and put his arms around my neck, opening the book. I leaned over his shoulder, smelling him, glanced at Sengoku the frowner and smirked. 

After finishing a box of paperwork, I yawned and noticed Ryu was asleep. Angry he wasnt paying attention to me, yet happy it was me and not anyone else, I licked his neck before biting him. He jolted awake, "S-sorry, I didnt mean to fall asleep."

I grumbled at his reaction, "I'm going to have some tea. Do you want some?"

He nodded and got up, "Would you like me to get it?"

I thought about it and nodded, "Yes, thank you."

Ryu nodded and left. Sengoku was frowning and grumbled, "Do you have to do that?" 

His voice annoyed me. I growled, "I'm being courteous already. If you want me to stop being nice, I will."

I heard a small clatter outside the door and put my hat on, hiding my ears before someone threw the door open and yelled at Sengoku, "You told your office not to let me in?!" 

"Sigh... Garp, did it not occur to you that someone else did?" Sengoku asked him. 

My eyes squinted, ears flat, and I hissed quietly. Garp frowned at Sengoku, "Your secretary ran from me! It was obviously you!"

When I heard that, I smiled a bit. Sengoku shook his head, "No he ran for a different reason. Leave him alone. I'm sure it was Akainu who said that."

"Such a valuable resource, yet it is just there in a damned fireplace?!" Shi Fan cried his heart out. Based on his master's explanations that fire is a very important thing that even Emperors will have difficulty in obtaining yet is just used in warming a house. "The owner must be extravagant."

"Ummm.." Cecil who is still looking dazed at Shi Fan who is holding her began speaking as she began poking him with her slender fingers.

"Oh." Shi Fan suddenly was suddenly pulled out when he sensed something is poking at him. He redacted his hand with a slight blush on his cheeks. "Sorry. That fire looks dangerous to touch and we have no idea of its origins I had no choice but to stop you."

"It's...it's fine thank you." Cecil bowed down slowly as she slowly smiled. Despite being beautiful in real life and inside the game no man has ever touched her like that as it's either they are too shy or unable to do so.

Cecil slowly looked at the fireplace and felt a stinging reaction into her eyes. She squinted twice as she looked at the door they just passed as it is slowly opening up.

Shi Fan also noticed the creaking sound of the door and he turned back in response. There was a person that just entered. Wearing a straw hat and putting a bamboo fishing pole in his shoulders he looked at the two individuals inside the small hut.

"Hmm? Who are you both?" the strange person that just entered asked as he began looking at Cecil whose cheeks are ticklish pink. He then shifted his attention to Shi Fan and smiled.

"You're here huh." the strange person continued speaking however Shi Fan noticed that his mouth didn't move a single time when he said that. 

"You anticipated my arrival?" Quan Shi who is inside Shi Fan's head began speaking. The latter confused by the mysterious happenings entered his subconscious where his master is located. He was shocked however when he arrived as they are only both of them which is usually talking to one each other yet there is actually another person that is inside and that man is the person who just entered the small hut.

"Of course, Hashmir already told me about it, plus knowing you wouldn't it be strange enough if you didn't come here?" the fisherman began laughing at the ball of fire in front of him.


"Darned old man, I expected him not to talk to anyone about it such a blabbermouth." Quan Shi furiously said.

"And he told me something he forgot to say to you." the fisherman continued on his words with a serious look. "It seems the Light Emperor is on the move."

Quan Shi who is still furiously burning brightly turned silent upon hearing his words. "What?!"

Empire of Fleece, Fiefdom of the 3rd East Land, Main Continent

The weak-looking figure covered in white robes began walking towards the gates of the Empire under the moonlit night. Along with other travelers and merchants, he stood in line with patience as he looked towards the guards managing the queue.

He sees several passersby walking past through him as they handed a pouch to the guards managing the gates, several complained of such bribery however they couldn't do anything as the head guard is Rank 7 which is higher Rank than them.

After a few minutes of waiting, he finally got inside the Empire without arousing any suspicion among the guards and he began walking toward the nearest inn. He booked a room and went upstairs. He opened the window with a smiling look. He lifted up his sleeves and held his hands outside the window as several fireflies began forming at his palms and flew away very fast almost at the speed of light and not a single person noticed on what is happening.

Millions of fireflies were needed to cover the expanse of the whole Empire. Yet their actions are so quiet as they didn't release a single speck of light a firefly should.

"Such a beautiful place yet they disgust it." the weak-looking man said as he looked above the crescent moon and to the tall buildings around the inn which is bustling with activities.

"Rank 10: Mass Shield of Everblooming Light"
"Rank 10: Sorrow of the Fireflies"

The weak-looking man spoke of two spells and a purple hexagonal barrier began forming around every person outside with him included with the exception of some.

The next scene would surely make every onlooker's hair stand and cold sweat dripping on their backs as million of fireflies began releasing light.

"What's this?"

"How could you cast a spell?"

"What are those things"

The people around were confused about the sudden appearance of a barrier around them and their confusion added when the entire sky began glowing white as they pointed out to the firefly illuminating the night sky.

"Release" the man slowly said as he closed down the windows he opened. And at that moment, every firefly in every corner of the Empire exploded simultaneously that even the former top of the 60-meter tall walls around the Empire could be touched by a toddler

In just 5 seconds after the explosion, an Empire was flattened to the ground without even knowing who did it nor why they did it. And the only people to survive the explosion are those surrounded by the purple barrier.

The weak-looking man slowly walked towards the Empire "gates" or whatsoever left of it as he inserted both if his hands at the side pockets of his robes. If an Emperor could identify this guy they would really think twice of crossing with him despite the same Rank.

Zach and Zoey calm down and start to think about what to wear while they buy clothes, he looks down at the see through lingerie and the sheet wrapping around his waist.
.You didn't throw away my other clothes did you?.
"No, although the shirt is completely covered in blood and the pants are similar."
.It's fine, i think i have some spare clothes in my bag.
...
She looks down at him with her 6ft height and long ears, 
"Can i borrow a shirt? All of my other clothes are, like really tight!"
.No, i can't be walking around with blood stained clothing.
"You're already missing a hand, why not?"
.It'll grow back.
"Wait it will?"
.Yeah, it's an ability from the system.
She looks surprised, 
"Wow, so cool!"
.You're the one who got the cool race, i'm stuck here with gills and a tail.
He sighs to himself, thinking that hes still unlucky even if his stats don't say so.
Zoey dresses in tight fitting clothes, she rips the bottom of some jeans making her able to get her feet through. The shirt looks like one of those belly shirts teens would wear at night clubs.
.You should probably put a hat on too...
"Why? Is my hair weird?"
.No you idiot, you have super long ears!.
She touches the ears only now realises how weird they would look.
"Ok..."
She walks to a drawer and pulls out a beanie.
"That fine?"
The beanie covers her ears and the top of her head, a bit of her fringe sticks out giving an impression of fashion.
He sticks his thumbs up,
.Looks great... Remember you're permanently gonna have to wear that...
"No, i can wear other hats too..."
.Whatever.
Zach tries to open the door with his left hand but feels like an idiot when his stump touches the door knob.

"You are technically disabled now, i guess i'll be polite!"
She opens the door like a gentleman and lets Zach go first.
He can't retort with anything because what she said was true.
Zach keeps his left hand in his pocket to try stop association with the demon if anyone spots him.
Zoey walks along in uncomfortable clothes begging to go to the female clothes store first. As a man Zach naturally gives his consent and waits outside the busy looking store.
.It's a thursday morning, why is it so busy. 
Zach thinks to himself confused, looking at the windows he notices a clearance sale tag. The clearance will end in about a week.
.I have a bad feeling about this...
He watches as girls carry huge amounts of bags out of the store and almost falls backwards when he sees Zoey who has changed into new clothes carrying a mountain.
She huffs and sweats like what shes carrying is literally gold.
"It wasn't as heavy as this before!"
.You're strength was lowered, remember?.
She looks as if a lightbulb just lit up in her head,
"Give me some help then"
.Only a little ok?.
She dumps the whole mountain on him, the weight feels almost nonexistent but the quantity makes it hard to balance as he walks.
.Why did you buy so much?.
"They said today was the last day of the clearance!"

The only thing Zach thinks at that moment is... Idiot!.
.They scammed you! The clearance ends in a week and you bought all of this?.
"No, they seemed pretty trustworthy"
.Whatever, if you have money to spend on stuff like this then i won't intervene.
She shows a weird face but Zach doesn't notice.
As they walk Zach gets an idea,
.If you really plan on joining me to evolve, then don't you need a mask?.
"Oh you're right.. But i have to do over time because i had to save your ass!"
.Can't you just quit? I'm almost certain we can make money stopping crimes.
"Oh really? How much have you made so far?"

.Err, none yet... But i have high hopes!.
She laughs at his naivete not realising the irony.
"Ill stick with a stable job, atleast until you actually make some cash."
.It's a deal then.
They visit Zoey's work and pick up plague doctor mask, it's the same type as Zach's that is used for paintball so it should be pretty durable.
They decide to drop by a coffee shop to relax, mainly for Zach due to him lugging around all Zoeys stuff all day.
.Should we split the cost?.
"Ill pay, i know you aren't exactly rolling in money... And it's a thanks for helping me shop."
.You're the one who came to help me, i also got you involved in this mess.
"No, this is like a dream... I always thought all i would amount to was a mediocre doctor or even a nurse, now that i have the chance to do something bigger i need to take it."
.I'm glad you see it that way.
They talk about generic stuff until it leads to the topic of Zoeys past.
"Well, i guess your the closest thing i have to a friend... I'm half American, i was born in England but moved to the US when i was younger. When i got older i wanted to be a doctor like my Dad, he wanted me to learn in the same medical school he did. So he sent me here, i don't know anyone here and every time i try to make friends i get ignored... My Mom wanted me to study in an American school so they had a fight over it."
.Are they still together?.
"No... but i decided to come here to get away from them, it was kinda funny... They moved out but both lived opposite each other, across the road. They would have disputes every other day, the neighbours found it hilarious but for me it was a nightmare."
.It's better now though, right?.
"I don't know, i haven't talked to them in months... The card they gave me for rent, clothes and food still works so i guess they still care?"
Zach doesn't know how to talk about delicate subjects like this so he tries to tiptoe around it.
.They probably do, otherwise they wouldn't still be paying for you right?.
"Yeah you're probably right..."
... 
"How about you Zach? Don't get me wrong, you seem pretty messed up... It must be weird at home right?"

.What do you mean messed up?.
"I mean, you kill without batting an eye and even while missing you're hand you are still calm. Isn't that the traits of a psychopath?"
Zach thinks back and realises he does seem pretty calm about his whole situation...
.Huh, i guess i am a bit weird. But i still have feelings of love and hate, so i can't be a psychopath.
"Maybe you're just more resilient then i am.. I still can't get over killing that Raj guy."
They talk it over and try to rationalise they're actions, the topic moves to Zachs past and living situation.
He talks about his Mother, the bullying, the betrayal and finding the dreidel.
Zoey listens intently not making a sound until hes finished talking,
"You say your unlucky, but aren't you the luckiest?"
.Why do you say that?.
"You found the system didn't you?"
.Yeah.. I guess you're right...
A pleasant atmosphere is created between the two as they sip on they're drinks.
