I have no rights to this book I just think that it is a great book and it was not on this app so i decided to share it on here for all of you amazing people to read and enjoy.

I am not sure if i will share the other books or not it all depends on how well this book does.

But honestly this is one of the best book series that i have ever read and i hope that you guys enjoy it.

"Maria!" shouts Joshua. He uses his magic power to take out the bullets and Maria falls into Joshua embrace.

Professor Shane ignore his injuries and run towards Maria. 

"How is it?" said Professor Shane.

"Not good the bullet is not an ordinary bullet. Even after I got it out, the residual energy still lingers and corrodes her heart slowly."

Kent moves towards Mikayla and Jack stops him. Kent makes a barrier and ready for any attack from Jack. Jack tilted his neck right and left then dash forward towards Kent.

"Three, bring Mikayla out from here," said Jack. He takes out his magic wand and shouts "Fire". Fire forms around him and the heat from it melt the ground. Jack point his magic wand towards Kent the fire attack Kent. Kent run from the fire but the fire is faster than him.
   
"Cheh! I forgot that he is a dual magician. The wind element is helping to boost its speed." The fire hits Kent barrier and it slowly dissolve because of the heat. "Damn!" Kent jump and turn around in the mid-air and shoot Jack. He makes a gesture like slashing the air and a hole open. Using his the gun on his left hand he shoot downwards to make sure he stays in the air. He alternates between right hand and left hand to keep firing at Jack and adjust his trajectory in the air. He also keeps slashing at the air and opens many holes. Jack use his fire to counter the attack but the bullet falls to him like rain.

Jack saw that Kent kept slashing the air or you could say he is slashing the space. This is bad, Jack knows this is Kent favourite attack. Every hole that Kent slash is connected and Kent able to manipulate the bullet to appear from any of the holes. Kent also can control anything that enters the hole so if the enemy wants to use the hole then it only backfires them. Joshua split his fire and burn the hole and seal it. Seeing his space hole being seal Kent smile. "Let me show you my new trick."

The fire that seal the space holes start to dimmed and collapse. In front of the space holes, fire bullet has been conjured from the seal.  Joshua faces grim seeing this. "Look like you upgrade your spells, impressive for someone with Grade D magic talent." Kent fires the bullet and Jack also makes a bullet from his fire to counter it. The collision from the bullets make a small explosion. Smoke is so thick making it hard for them to breath and see the surrounding.

Jack use wind spell to dispell the smoke and found out that Kent is nowhere to be seen. Jack scan the surrounding and sure that Kent has left the room. He sees Maria is still with Joshua and Professor Shane. Professor Shane is feeding Maria with anti-magic potion to counter the corrodes energy in her heart.

Jack run out of the room and going to Mikayla's room. On his way, he sees Three on the floor has being slice into two and no sign of Mikayla can be found. 

"KENT!!! Ahhhh! You want to make us as your enemy don't you!" shouts Jack. 
 
Kent and his people appear in front of a mansion. The mansion is filled with red rose. The rose is as red as blood. When the wind blows you can smell a faint of blood. Kent knocks the door and the sound of knocking echo inside the mansion. After that, the front door open and a pale old man greeted them. 

"Hello, Sir Kent Maroon. It has been a while since your last visit," said Gerald.

"Yes, it has been a while, Gerald. I would like to meet your master Duke Alaric Blade," said Kent.

"Please come in, my master is expecting you," said Gerald.

Kent and his people enter the mansion. They are lead to a spacious room being decorated with Victorian styles. 

"Sir Kent Maroon, your people will stay here while you are meeting with my master. I believe they need it," said Gerald as he glances towards Mikayla that is on Jeffry's back. Mikayla showed a weak smile towards Gerald.

Kent nodded at Gerald and go to meet Alaric. Inside the study, Alaric is reading a document. A knock comes from the door. "Enter."

"Master, Sir Kent Maroon is here," said Gerald.

"Alaric is been a while, my friend," said Kent.

"Kent! what brought you here." Alaric gets up from his chair and hug Kent. Kent hug him back and he hugs tightly. Sensing the hug getting tight Alaric put some pressure and the books and furniture inside the study is shaking. 

Kent release his hug and then Alaric does the same. They both brought into laughter. 

"You are getting fatter my Duke. Hahahahaha," said Kent.

"You are the one that fatter. Hump. Is this how you treat your friend?" said Alaric.

"Okay...okay. I'm sorry," said Kent.

"Have a seat Kent, Gerald prepare some tea for our guest," said Alaric.

Kent sits in front of the table and Alaric sit in front of him.

"Alaric, I get straight to the point. I want you to take care of a child for me," said Kent.

Alaric did not show any shocking expression as if he already knows the reason for Kent visiting him.

"It is regarding that case?" said Alaric.

"Yes, that boy somehow connected to this case. That boy receive that monster heritage from his father," said Kent. "I don't want any victim because of that monster anymore. I will save as many as I can just like my promise to Katherine."

Alaric sigh hearing it. "Alright. Where is he?"

"He is in the room with my people."
 
Kent and Alaric goes to the room to see Mikayla. Inside the room, all his people are enjoying cakes and sweets. After a mission, those people are hungry and excited seeing so much dessert. They rarely enjoy dessert because and only focus on high nutrition like rice, fish, meat and chicken. They eat food that able to make their stomach full and last longer. Now they are partying inside the room, thinking that their boss will have a long discussion like usual. 

Seeing his people behaviour, Kent is fuming mad while Alaric is amused seeing those people and he almost laughs but restrain it to provide some dignity to his friend. 

"Whaaaat... areeee...youuuu...doing? Enjoying yourself, are you? Hearing their boss voice they spit out their cakes and stand straight like a soldier. Mikayla enjoying his cakes startled and hurriedly stand with them.

"It is wrong to eat the cakes and sweets? ask Mikayla. He tilted his head to see Kent and his friend.

"No. It is not wrong. Are you Mikayla?" asked Alaric.

"Yes," said Mikayla. 

"Come with me to the study room. Kent will be busy for a while," said Alaric with a smile on his face. Mikayla turn to see Kent and he nods to him. Mikayla follows Alaric to the study room and after the door is closed behind him, he hears screaming like a pig being butcher from the room. He wants to enter but Alaric stops him. 

"Let him be. Kent is a nice person but at the same time, he is a proud person. How can he tolerate his subordinate reckless behaviour in someone house," said Alaric. He is already giggling as soon he gets out from the room. If not he has to maintain his image he probably rolling on the ground laughing.  

Alaric lead him to the study room. Mikayla sits on the chair in front of the table and he receives tea from Gerald.  

"Prepares a room for young Mikayla. He will be staying with us," said Alaric. Gerald complied and go to prepare a room for Mikayla. 

Mikayla is in puzzle hearing that and put down his teacup and before he could ask Alaric interrupts him.

"Kent will tell you after this. No need to worry." Mikayla continue to drinks his tea but feels a little bit uncomfortable because Alaric keep gazing towards him.

Ten minutes later, Kent appear inside the study room and directly sit on the chair. He even pours tea for himself. After finishing two cups of tea he saw the dumbfounded look of Mikayla and his friend Alaric that try his best to hold his laughter.

"Laugh Alaric, laugh. Hump!" said Kent.

Receiving permission Alaric laugh so hard until tears running out from his eyes. Kent keeps his composure and pretending to be calm. Mikayla is not sure what to do whether to laugh or not so he takes a cookie and eating it with relish.   

"Enough, did you want to be the first vampire to die from laughing?" said Kent.

Alaric stops laughing and prepares himself for a serious discussion. Alaric change his demeanour so quickly that Mikayla is speechless seeing this. This is how a professional should act. 

"We will be discussing regarding Mikayla that will be staying with the Blade family," said Kent.

People are born as white sheet, later the world will leave some colour to it. Black or White? Salvation or Destruction?

"The archduchess does not deserve to die!" shouted Maria, once again having another discussion with the two fragments of her inner consciousness, Light Maria and Dark Maria.
"Such a nice woman definitely does not deserve to die," Light Maria sagely nodded her head in agreement.
"Saying that she's a nice woman is not going to help us. I mean, how did she die in the novel?" questioned Dark Maria, who was floating in the air, eating a hamburger for some reason.
"Hmm, if I recall correctly, both the archduke and archduchess publically died in a tragic fire that randomly broke out in the manor but we later found out that the archduchess died from poison first before the fire started," 
Maria was duked out in her Sherlock Holmes costume, recalling how the story mentioned that during the middle of a tea-party, hosted by the archduchess. A fire suddenly broke and ruined the event, the archduke who was returning home was mysteriously attacked on the road and during the battle was poisoned. The poison could've been cured if it had been treated right away, but the archduke wanted to hold out on it until he reached home.
Only by the time he reached there, it was siege under raging intense flames and after hearing how his was wife was still somewhere in the premises of their home, rushed in to go save her. The ending results were both of them dying and the only thing left of their corpse was ash.
"If the manor was going to be set on fire in the first place, why was the archduchess poisoned?" lazily questioned Dark Maria.
"To hide the true matter of the crime, which was the archduchess did not die by an accidental fire but was murdered! Murdered by one of the empress evil schemes, cause she knew if ruled out as an accidental fire, an investigation would not take place!" proclaimed Maria, clearly convinced with her theory. 
"The jealous heart of a woman can be quite scary," sighed Light Maria.
"So we somehow have to save the archduchess and her family, but... just how much time do we have before she meets her tragic end?" asked Dark Maria who for some reason was sunbathing now, sipping on a tropical drink.
"In the book, they died on the fourteenth of August, two weeks before the Diamond Academy Welcome Back Banquet," Maria remembered in the book that every year, Diamond Academy hosted its Welcome Back Banquet to welcome its returning and new students.
"So, we have two weeks before we can save the archduchess. That's not a lot of time." Light Maria said the exact words Maria was thinking.
"There's also the problem of what poison killed the archduchess. If she was killed with a certain type of poison, then only a certain type of antidote can cure her," said Dark Maria, adding more to the discussion of things they needed to think about if they were going to stop that tragedy from happening.
"If I remember correctly, in the book, Richard's investigation on the death of his parents revealed that his mother was killed by {Lux Brumalis} poison. The type of poison that's made by mixing two low-level ice-class toxin ingredients. Once it enters the body, it will freeze all of the victim's internal organs. The antidote to {Lux Brumalis} poison is {Aestas}, which is made by brewing a petal of a Summer Flower and Lemon Grass. Lemon Grass should be easy to find, but I don't know about the petal of a Summer Flower. I'll have to look up that later." 
Maria was brought back into reality, when Shirone knocked on the door, "Ojou-sama, everyone is waiting for you downstairs for dinner."
Once Maria was escorted out of her room, she was brought into this large and elegantly decorated European-style dining room and was escorted to her chair. Once seated, Maria recognized both her brother and mother at the dining table, but she did not recognize the handsome man sitting at the head of the table
 
The man looked to be in his mid-thirties, dark blonde hair, fairly attractive yet one was unable to admire it thanks to those cold dark brown eyes of his. Sheepishly shooting a few glances at him, the man gave Maria the impression of being very strict and uptight, the type who expected nothing but the highest of expectations from his children.
Seeing this, Maria couldn't help but gulp; she wasn't good with these types of people. Though she completely missed when the man looked towards her way, a feeling of dejection flashing through those dark brown eyes of his. "Maria, I'm happy to see you're feeling okay." Maria couldn't help but jump at such a deep and authoritative voice, almost dropping her silverware, yet she still managed to nod her head, too afraid to speak.
Sorting through the original Maria's memories, it seemed that the poor girl always held a sense of fear towards her father. First off the original Maria's father was a busy man, so it was kind of hard to form a father and daughter bond due to the man being away most of the time.
Then there was also this commanding and authoritative aura he gave off all the time. Things only got worse, when one day Maria was about to visit her father's study room, only to hear him harshly scolding someone; that only made the young Maria's fear of him increase.
While Maria was too busy in her own thoughts, she completely missed the brief look of gloom that passed through her father's eyes, receiving nothing but pity looks from both mother and son. After an awkward silence, it was Maria's mother who decided to break the silence, cheerfully beginning to speak about her day.
Maria was chewing on a piece of delicious steak when she heard her mother say, "Ah, I just remembered! In order to thank you for the beautiful present you gave her, the Archduchess has invited you to attend a play with her family!"
 Maria didn't know whether this certain predicament was a blessing or a curse. Silently thinking to herself, 'If this is a blessing, then I must save the archduchess and her family. I really hope in this life, they will achieve happiness and not despair like before,'

After dinner, Maria made her way to the library located inside the family manor. Trying to dig up information about the Summer Flower, a voice close to her ear startled her and made her scream. After dropping the book, Maria turned around and saw that it was big-brother who had frightened her.
"Brother, what are you doing here?" Maria asked, trying to get her heart to calm down.
"That's the same thing I should be asking you. If you wanted me to read you a bedtime story, you could've just asked you know.?" It seemed her older brother thought that his cute little sister wanted to read a bedtime story, but once he saw the cover of the book that had fallen out of her hands, he grew confused.
"Why are you reading a book about plants?" he asked as she began flipping through the pages again.
"I'm looking for information about the Summer-Flower," stated Maria, hoping that her big-brother could maybe give her some clues on where it was located.
"The Summer-Flower? Why do you want to know about that?" He asked, holding her book and began flipping through the pages.
"I'm just curious about it since I want to make another hairpin, using a Summer Flower this time," innocently lied Maria, only to wonder why the answer she had given him caused her brother to chuckle?
"Maria, a Summer-Flower is not just any regular flower, it's a plant-monster." After saying that, he walked over to the bookshelf and pulled out a book. Opening it, he began flipping through the pages before finding the right one and presenting it to Maria.
"You see this is a Summer-Flower. They're only active during the months of June and July before going into hibernation," explained her brother, showing her a picture of a large sunflower-like plant creature, which had razor-sharp teeth and several thick green limbs. Looking at the picture, Maria thought one thing,
'I'm screwed!'

One moment I'm chasing after a rabbit and the next, I'm falling down a rabbit hole! What the heck?! This ain't Alice in Wonderland?! Though as I opened my eyes, I soon found out that I was no longer in my original body and that somehow I transmigrated into the light novel, A Fairytale Romance. And that isn't all, the character whose body I transmigrated into... is none other than the minor stuck-up, arrogant, and selfless ojou-sama who was nothing more than a comic relief character. Life truly sucks...

'Today has been a long day ...' Adrian thought as he looked at the front of a store that looked quite ordinary. After manipulating Nick Fury, Adrian used his webs and came swinging from building to building to the place where the abandoned SHIELD base was located.
 
He was being accompanied by the five agents who have Symbiotes in their bodies, Natasha and Jessica also accompanied him.
 
Adrian was surprised for a moment to find Maria Hill in front of the abandoned base. She was waiting with several agents beside her.
 
After Adrian thought about it, he believed it was his mother who ordered Maria Hill to show up here. Of course, she must have used Adrian's new pawn named Nick Fury for Maria Hill to accept her orders.
 
"Is this the location?"
 
"Yes." Maria Hill, who was next to Adrian, replied.
 
Maria was suspicious, she doesn't know what happened, but suddenly Nick Fury and Adrian became best friends ... She finds this sudden friendship very strange...
 
How can two enemies who have sworn to death each other become friends so suddenly?
 
"Hmm, this is just an ordinary store." Jessica Jones commented, she was still wearing Adrian's outfit.
 
"SHIELD has several underground bases around New York, they disguise their bases by building ordinary stores on the surface," Natasha explained. As a former SHIELD agent, she knew very well how they operate.
 
 
Natasha was also wearing a costume similar to Adrian.
 
Adrian looked at the SHIELD agents who were being hosted by the Symbiotes.
 
Adrian looked at the black Symbiote named Riot with a cold smile. From the moment Adrian saw the Symbiotes, Adrian wanted these Symbiotes for himself; after all, he knew0 the benefits of having a Symbiote by his side.
 
Adrian deemed he can give these symbiotes to his family; with that, they would be protected from any danger.
 
Adrian is not afraid that the Symbiotes may harm his family instinctively. He knows that if these Symbiotes become his followers, they will follow any order from him.
 
That was the privilege of an Alpha.
 
'Well, if they don't obey me, I just have to make them obey me.'
 
Adrian took his attention away from Riot and looked at Maria. "Is there anyone else besides Symbiote and Natasha's sister on this base?" He asked, pretending ignorance. He knows very well that this sudden 'friendship' he had with Nick Fury will raise suspicion of Maria. Because of that, he decided to pretend he doesn't know anything.
 
Adrian doesn't want to control Maria Hill like he did with Nick Fury. He wanted Maria Hill to willingly become his subordinate.
 
Adrian regarded Nick Fury as an enemy and a threat. He will go to great lengths to eliminate or use it to his advantage. But so far, Maria Hill is just an agent who follows Nick Fury's orders.
 
A sudden thought crossed his mind. 'Stopping to think, if Nick Fury is under my control, then is Maria Hill my subordinate too?'
 
"No, only V-001 and ex-Red Room agent Yelena Belova are on that basis." Maria Hill denied it. "The V-001 host is also on that base, but we don't know his status."
 
"V-001?" Adrian asked he hadn't heard that classification from Nick Fury.
 
"This is the name we give the first Symbiote to have a host."
 
Adrian used his brain and can soon find out where they got that name from. 'Oh, they used Venom's' V, 'Since he was the first Symbiote after Venom, they rated it' 1 ', so the name V-001.'
 
"Let me guess, is my name rated V-000?" Adrian asked, smiling.
 
Adrian gave his Symbiote a mental command, and soon he was covered in a black suit.
 
"Yes." Maria Hill responded with a stoic expression. "How do you know that?" She asked in a neutral tone of voice.
 
Adrian huffed: "It's pretty obvious, I can say that you used me as a basis for experimenting on these symbiotes. They must have been named in order of host or importance." He looked at Riot and pointed with his finger:
 
"He has the presence of a leader, so his codename must be V-002." Adrian pointed to the yellow Symbiote. "She has a slightly lower presence than V-002, but I can easily see her pride, her code name is V-003."
 
"The rest must be codenamed V-004, V-005, and V-006, right?"
 
The agent groups will be surprised at Adrian's deduction. Maria Hill was surprised too, but that surprise didn't show on her face.
 
Adrian turned and walked towards the store.
 
Natasha, who was smiling through the mask, quickly followed. Jessica looked at Maria Hill with disgust and followed Adrian too.
 
Jessica was disgusted, misunderstood Maria Hill, and Adrian's conversation. She thinks Adrian is a mutant, and he was captured and experimented by this organization. Because of that, these agents have powers similar to Adrian.
 
"What is the plan?" Jessica asked.
 
"The plan is simple," Adrian replied.
 
"Currently, I am stronger than all of you, I will get the attention of the aggressive Symbiote, and I will fight him."
 
Upon noticing that Natasha would deny the plan by saying it was too risky. Adrian added: "The five Symbiotes will help me eliminate the aggressive Symbiote in the meantime. Natasha and Jessica will rescue the survivor."
 
"Okay." Jessica agreed.
 
Adrian looked at Natasha and said in a kind voice. "Go save your sister, she needs you."
 
Natasha nodded with a gentle smile under the mask.
 
Adrian turned and walked to the back of the store, he investigated the place a little. He found a strange opening in the wall, he pushed the wall a little, and a secret passage was opened.
 
The secret passage was an elevator...
 
Adrian looked at the agents and Maria Hill, who were entering the store and spoke. "Maria Hill, I want you to wait here, I don't want to protect you during the battle."
 
Maria Hill narrowed her eyes in annoyance. "Are you calling me worthless?"
 
"Yes," Adrian replied without mercy. "In a fight with beings who can do that."
 
Adrian lightly attacks the wall behind him.
 
* Booom! *
 
"Ordinary humans are just dead weight."
 
Maria Hill calmly looked at the destroyed wall. She can see that Adrian did not try to destroy that wall. He just shook his arm, and that happened. She broke into a cold sweat when she imagined this result on a human body.
 
"Okay, I'll wait here."
 
"Good." Adrian smiled through the mask. "These five agents and I are going to fight the aggressive Symbiote."
 
Adrian turned and was about to enter the elevator. He heard the black Symbiote speaking in a hoarse Symbiote voice.
 
"Wait."

Since my rebirth, a few years had passed and I was a 3-year-old child in age yet had a mental age of 17 and it was hard to cover it up. And so, in the palace, everyone knew that the baby princess was born with a high intelligence. Yes, I was a princess and that big face was my father while the beautiful woman was my mother. Due to both of their genes, I had a fair complexion and was very pretty too. I became the apple of the eye of all the people in the palace. My name was changed from Alexa to Alexandra before I knew it yet surprisingly this royal family had the same surname. I had to study hard in order to understand the language being spoke and written in this world. The script was runic while the speech was nearly similar to english.

But my three-views, which were already crumbling since I was reborn, were even more crumbled when I realised the existence of magic and aura. Magic is the energy that is stored inside and is borrowed from the nature and converted into one's own in order to create and destroy things while aura is the field of energy used in a similar sense but is capable of strengthening and weakening the objects or people inside it. Due to two types of usage of energy, there were two types of streams that an ability user could choose from - Magicians and Fieldmasters. Magicians create and destroy materialistically while Fieldmasters only influence and wouldn't create or destroy anything materialistically. This was what I derived from my understanding the books these years. There was still a third type - the exceptions or the special constitutions. Some of them had immense internal energy or were able to borrow a huge amount of it from nature and convert it for their own use. Others were able to influence a large amount of area or a particular group of people or objects. In short, they were different from the usual magicians and fieldmasters and were exceptional.

Then there was the existence of attributes which I have read in lots of fictions in the lifetime before. There are seven known attributes on this continent - Light, Dark, Fire, Water, Wind, Earth and Void. On this continent, Fire, Water, Wind and Earth are well known while the Light and Dark are polar opposites and each represent a moral quality - good and evil - although it's not necessarily true. Then there's the Void which is considered a weak attribute as its only recognised function is to make a barrier and protect oneself. I read an old, thick and worn out book in the library on this one and on the last page of that thick book, there was a single line - The Void King destroyed countless continents. It was very scribbled and simply hard to decipher unless one once had a friend like mine whose handwriting was even more indistinguishable. So I was able to understand it. That meant the Void attribute wasn't a useless one as an ability user of King level was able to use it to destroy continents. I wonder if it was really true, how that person was able to write that sentence and transport that thick book into this continent. I had asked father about where did he got that book and he told me that even he didn't know about it as it was already there in the library even before his own grandfather was born.

According to the attributes and the usage of energy, countless occupations on the continent can be found such as Spellcaster, Charmer, Illusionist, Elementalist, Sword Master, Warlock and many more. These can be chosen when one is about to reach the third stage of the first level of the ability as the initial two stages are equally suitable for all types.

This continent, Azalea, hosts many countries and Teria is one of them. Teria, my birth country, is at border lining the separation between the Dark Forest and the middle circle of Azalea. After reaching 5, every child would go for an ability test to the Anthera Hall. If found to be an ability user, one's name along his aptitude would be sent to the schools and sects of the middle circle of Azalea. The Anthera Hall is said to be a very large school organisation scattering across not just Azalea but possibly other continents too. So it's a power that no one would like to offend and becoming a part of it is said to be a great honour. There's only one single large authentic Anthera Hall in the capital of Azalea to which every three years, thousands of students try to enter yet only some twenty or thirty would finally get selected.

 I usually spend my time in the library reading the books so that I can gather the basic knowledge of this world or I would feel left out. Because of high intelligent reputation, it doesn't seem odd for a 3-year-old girl to go into the library and read tons of books whenever she gets time. The librarian is also very amiable and is a retired Marquess. My father the king ,who would only be able to get together with his family on weekends, would occasionally have to come personally to get me out of my world and take me to some banquets. And I would try my best to act as a background character yet would always come back with lots of gifts. And very rarely, I would get some exotic books as gifts. That would always help me very much. I once got an encyclopedia on herbs. It was a thick leather-covered book with beautiful designs. It contained information about some 100 herbs in Teria. If I come to know who sent it, I must thank that person once.

There's just one problem. That's my extremely sensitive lacrimal glands. Once, when I was in my father the king's arms holding onto his shoulders admiring the gardens along with him as he walked, I suddenly thought of my father from the lifetime before. My father the king after that was even more sure that I was bullied. Hence, from the next day I was followed by two royal guards the whole week. It was an astonishingly dumbfounding experience.

Aside from the library and the books, my most time is spent in garden or with my mother the queen. My mother the queen told me that she's a Fire Charmer while my father the king is a Wind Swordmaster. My mother the queen's family too is genius in these outer circle of Azalea. My cousin, from mother the queen's side, is said to be a Water-attribute as my aunt is a Water Charmer.

Right now, I was reading a book 'Fundamentals of Magic and Aura' in the garden when suddenly a teacup with a refreshing scent of tea entered my view. It was Maria, my designated maid given by mother, holding a tray with pastries in one hand and a teacup in another. Taking the teacup, I took a sip of it. Tasty it was. A lot of times my parents have insisted that aside from the books, I should go out to make some friends. Thinking such, after coming back from the garden and putting the book back in one of the shelves in my chamber, I came out of the palace with Maria and a royal guard in the carriage. Have to say, sitting in a carriage in my second lifetime was a novel experience for someone like me who only had cars to take and not a single of them had this royal looks. We were headed to Duke Aristotle's mansion to meet his 4-year-old daughter, Lady Aria.

I met Lady Aria in one of the banquets that my mother hosted. Her temperament was very similar to one of my friends in the lifetime before. She is very polite, smart and a good learner. With her, I don't feel like I'm talking to a 4-year-old girl. After a few minutes, our carriage reached. The gatekeeper went in to inform the duke of my arrival. Soon, I saw a middle-aged uncle with fiery red hair making his way to me. Everytime I see the duke I feel that he has fire on his head due to his straight standing short hair. With flattering smile, he said, "This duke is honored to have the arrival of the princess at his humble home." Yet I don't see this huge, elegant mansion humble from anywhere. Only extravagant seems to remain.

"Duke, the princess wishes to meet Lady Aria. Her highness would be pleased if you could inform Lady Aria of her arrival." Maria answered for me.

With his tortoise like pace, the duke escorted us to the side hall and sent a servant to inform Lady Aria of our arrival. If it wasn't for Maria, I would have never came here. The duke just tries to pry open what happens in the palace especially the affairs of my father the king and Maria beautifully redirects all these questions into finding out what happened at the duke's home such as a cat was stuck in the tree and Lady Aria climbed the tree in order to save it and fortunately she wasn't hurt when she fell down the tree due to a passing servant.

The door to the side hall opened and a 4-year-old girl with shiny orange hair till her neck trotted to the duke. The duke happily picked her up as he held her on his lap. No matter whether the duke seems to pry open the news from us, he's still a good father it seems and loving to his daughter. "Since, Aria has come, I would head to deal with some affairs your highness." I nodded. Then putting down his daughter, he headed off to who knows where.

I trotted to Lady Aria and grabbing her hands, I took her to play. I would never admit that I played like a child with a mentality of 17. An hour later, I bid goodbye to Lady Aria as I ascended the carriage. "Maria, let's head to a snack shop." I looked at Maria with big eyes. "Your highness, you mother forbid you to eat the food outside." Yes, as a princess, you may never know when you get poisoned or kidnapped by enemies, so my mother forbid to eat or drink anything outside. "But, you should be able to distinguish a good snack shop, Maria." I reasoned with her. Even though I'm a princess, she's still a maid sent by my mother supposed to take care and protect me. Finally, giving in Maria decided to change the route to head for a good restaurant. She would never let me eat anything from the street stalls.

Giving me a light yellow cloak with a hood to wear, Maria descended first to take assist me down the carriage. We three headed in as the coachman waited outside. Maria ordered some chicken soup and pasta, when I insisted. My mother the queen has denied the pasta since I choked on it once making me yearn for it. The smell was enticing and it was decorated with peas and some condiments. When I exited the restaurant, even without a mirror I knew that I must have had a blooming smile after savoring the pasta.

The sun was about to set so we tried to hurry back. But when passing by an alley, I heard some fighting sounds. So I ordered to stop the carriage and the guard went off to check on it. Soon, I saw some well-dressed teenagers scurrying out of it along with their servants. I did hear them mutter bad about the royal guards. After a little while, I too with Maria entered the alley. On its dead end, sat a boy of 7-year-old bruised heavily. The guard was bandaging his wounds.

The boy had dark black hair and dark blue irises. A rare genetic combination. He was a little slim and pale along with dirt here and there. I stood aside as I watched the guard bandaging him. He had a cut on his right arm and left shoulder. Blood had dyed his dark green clothes. Luckily, I had a mental age of 17 or else a 3-year-old girl would have fainted right then and there. This boy's color combination reminded me of my little cousin from my previous lifetime. If this boy wouldn't have a home, I would take him to palace with me, was what I had decided. Or else, I would assist him. So when the bandaging was done, the first thing I asked wasn't his name or what happened but, "Do you have a home to go back?" I am pretty sure that Maria was throwing glares at me. The boy too looked at me with his enlarged eyes astonishingly. But he was too cute just like my little cousin.

My world changed the day I died with a single regret and my three-views started crumbling and reforming since then. I, a student of science, had to reason with things of fantasy and fiction.

And was I the only one from that world?...

While Maria was 'making dinner'. The rest of the 'family' were talking. The holiday term was ending in the next day. On Monday, both girls would start their schools and Han was telling his 10- 11 year old daughter to take care of his 13 year old daughter.

It was another happy atmosphere, Helen was excited about her sister attending the same school as her. She will be able to meet her friends and her sister will be able to meet her friend. Thinking of the fun things they could do, Helen was so excited. 

On the other hand, Athena on the outside acted really excited, but inside her mind she really didn't care. Form the mysterious memories of her dream or past life, she knew that the school was filled with different types of people.

But nonetheless she didn't plan on putting a lot of effort into her grades. It was important to study and have a good building block for your future career but she knew that there were plenty of other things that she needed to focus on. 

Getting an admission was hard in the school and Han might have not cared about whatever school they go to. But Han needed connection with other influential families. His main purpose for having his kids at the IVY was for him to have contacts with other influential people and families.

The conversation carried on until; Maria came to the lounge area to inform everyone that "dinner is ready."

During dinner.

Maria was feeling quite smug because she had 'made' dinner for the 'family'. Han gave an approving look to Maria, who didn't like a woman who was good at cooking. 

The food 'made' by Maria was really good. She was praised a lot by her husband about how good the food is. Helen and Athena also said a few good points about Maria's cooking.

Helen was shocked, it really didn't look like her step-mother can actually cook. 'Really can't judge a book by its cover." Helen whispered to herself. 

The couple were busy with their food and were chatting to each other, so they didn't hear what Helen had said. Athena on the other hand, had heard it loud and clear. " I have lived with her for the past 12-13 years and as far as I know, she doesn't know how to cook." Athena said to Helen. Helen slightly turned towards her sister "How-" Before Helen could ask her question Athena cut her off. "The maids in the kitchen. Helen nodded slightly, finally solving this mystery.

The couple were too busy talking to each other, that they didn't see the two girls who were secretly talking to each other.

"Today you did well, but be careful around my 'mother'. You were about to talk back to her, you did well but be more careful around her." Athena whispered to Helen. 

Helen gave a slight nod. "I understand". 

The family finished dinner. But continued to chat to each other. 

About the upcoming school and end of the term holidays. How Han had done Athena's admission for her knew school. About the new family. The business management. 

After another half an hour of talk, everyone soon retired to their own bedrooms.

Helen took a shower and dried her hair while thinking about what her sister had said during their dinner. She knew she had to be careful, Helen thought of how her sister was so smart and cool. Athena had turned into a role-model for Helen.

The couple in their own room where talking to each other. Mostly Maria, about how fun today and family things are good for children's growth. All the motherly cr*p she had learnt, from books and random magazines. 
Maria went on about how good it was that Helen was accepting her slowly and how they could be a happy family in the near future.

Han was happy with Maria's behavior, she wanted a happy family. "This is how a lady should act" he thought.

The young teen was lying in the bed, looking relaxed and peaceful. 
Athena had taken a shower from the neck down (didn't was her hair) feeling refreshed she had immediately got into bed and fallen asleep. All the acting and faking had really tired her out. 

Even though she had fallen asleep, if there was even a squeak in the room she would get p immediately and get ready for battle.

The next morning was a Sunday. 

When Athena woke up and got dressed. She knew that by today the steward would call Han ask him for the job. 

When the real lady of the house had died, Xuan didn't quit he was actually out of town to meet his newborn grandson. 

But he had not come back to work for a very long while. Probably her 'father' was mad that her didn't come to work. 

But it was not like they could fire the steward because the steward was a very trusted man of Helen's maternal grandpa. He had a 6% share in the company. The steward was also a respected man in the board of directors. 

Athena knew that Han would take the steward back, so she didn't really pry into the matter. 

But Helen was nervous, she was scared about if her father did not accept grandpa Xuan back into for work. She was also scared if grandpa Xuan faced any difficulties from her step-mother or other people.

There was a little snag over at Imperial Glory. Aslan's second princess' coming of age ceremony was nearing, and she had returned home, unable to support this glorious battle. Of course, some had said that the little princess was extremely disappointed with the Imperial Glory battle team.

As the translator, I've enjoyed translating this novel and I hope to bring the essence of what the author has tried to portray into the chapters you will read.
To sum it up in 3 words: Mechs! Explosions! Science!
To be perfectly honest, this novel is about your typically overpowered protagonist who does get looked down from time to time but always overcomes the odds with his own special power. He's abit more mature having grown up on his own and just a littttttttle bit dense.
Although it always ends up with him winning, it always happens in an interesting (subjective) and fun way that makes me enjoy reading this.
The novel has elements of lighthearted comedy from time to time and I do chuckle at how direct the humor is.
It's not as smart as say WMW nor does it weave an intricate story much like Ergen's novels. More importantly, its fun and it doesn't try to hide it.

She had finally one upped the stupid Arch Mage geezer in the tower and they agreed to a bet that he would teach Maria about [Magic Comprehension] and [Magic Deduction] if she could learn both [Linguistics] and [Book Keeping] from Zelundo before a month had passed.

"Hehe, just you wait you stupid geezer. Our Lady Envoy will be able to learn those skills with time to spare! A million gold, a favor, plus that 5 century-old wine are in the bag, OHOHOHOHO~!" Hella roared in laughter. It was a good thing no one was there to witness her out of character moment, she quickly cleared her throat in embarrassment and skipped happily back to the Dark God's Temple.

3 in-game weeks had passed since Maria was given the [Study Time] quest and she was floating through the air while reading a book at her leisure. The players who had come to the library to receive a different quest had grown used to seeing the girl floating through the air while reading a book. 

It was a unique sight, but it was welcomed since she also sometimes helped players search for the specific book that they needed to complete the quest they got from the library's receptionist. Players even began calling her the Library's Angel.

"It's almost been a month...just a little bit more..." Maria said as she finished reading another book.

If Maria knew this was how long it would take to learn a skill, she wouldn't have bothered asking Hella and coming over to the library to learn anything.

What she didn't know however, that there was a simpler way to learn the skill. All she needed to do was complete the library receptionist's chain quest and acquire the [Linguistic] skill book from that.

However, the process of learning the skill which granted bonus stat points to a player's stats was left out. So in a way, Maria had stumbled upon the greatest method of learning skills, which was the manual, hardworking way. 

The process of learning skills in Unitale was divided into 3, creating the skill through repeated usage or understanding, acquiring it from a skill book, and learning it through mentorship.

Maria has already experienced 2 of these methods and now she was going through the hardships of the third method. 

It was time consuming, but the rewards brought by the process of learning the skill in this way were abundant. Just from finishing [Zelundo's Basic Language Materials], Maria had gained 10 INT. 

So if she finished reading more books, then the stat bonuses she would gain would be enormous, of course, it wasn't like every book she read gave her stat points, only a select few did.

From a gamer's perspective, all that hard work was worth it. It was just like grinding for experience points, but instead this was for grinding stat points. Every addition to one's stats was a big boon. 

This was especially so since Unitale heavily relied on stats and currently, the only known way to gain stat points was through leveling up, fulfilling special quests and objectives that rewarded Free Stat Points. 

So this mentorship was an unexpectedly great find. It had to be mentioned that in order to be eligible to learn from a mentor, one needed a High Ranking NPC's recommendation and personal referral. 

In order to get that, a player needed to have high favorability with a High Ranking NPC, something that Maria had already acquired so early in the game.

High Priestess Hella practically worshipped Maria for being the Dark God's Envoy. Her favorability with the NPC was already elevated to a high value and she was still earning more through interaction and by completing her quests.

For now, only Maria had learned about this mentorship function that the NPCs provided, but she didn't understand the significance of it yet.

"Hey Mary, let's go questing and hunting later~" Lizzy said while the girls were eating lunch in the school's cafeteria. 

When Maria heard her, she couldn't help but cast Lizzy a sad look and say, "Sorry Liz, I can't...I'm stuck learning the [Linguistics] and [Book Keeping] skills at the library..."

"Huh? It's already been over a week and you still haven't learned it?!"

"...please don't remind me..." Maria replied in complete dejection.

Maria still hadn't earned enough proficiency to upgrade her skill to [Linguistics]. She was also only a couple of books away from completing [Study Time] and getting [Book Keeper] as well.

Even until now, Maria didn't understand what the [Book Keeping] skill was for, but since the requirement to finish the quest was to actually read ALL of the books inside the library, she could only continuing trudging forward.

She enjoyed reading the books, but whenever her friends talked about hunting and grinding their levels while at school, Maria couldn't help but feel dejected and left out. Her friends had already broken past level 50 and had already gone through their class advancement quests and upgraded their classes.

"Mary...what quest are you doing? Y'know, on the forums in the guide section, the [Linguistics] quest was fairly easy and you could practically complete it in 1 day!"

"Huh?"

Lizzy pulled out her phone and opened up the Unitale Forums. She opened up the player made guides and quickly found the [Librarian's Request] quest and showed it to Maria.

"Hm? I didn't know about this..."

"Really?"

Amanda looked at Maria and asked, "What quest are you doing right now? It's obviously not this, right?"

"Y-yeah...it's called [Study Time]..."

"[Study Time]? That's new, so who's the quest giver?"

"The Library's Director, the old geezer Zelundo!" Maria said in anger. "At first it wasn't [Study Time], instead it was something called [Learn How to Read 1], but that stupid, lying, oppressive—"

Amanda exclaimed when she heard Maria's words. "Library Director? No way! You normally wouldn't be able to meet him unless you have a high reputation and a huge amount of favorability with the Library's Receptionist!"

Maria tilted her head in confusion and said, "Really? But I met him right when I entered the library! Of course, Miss Hella was the one who brought him down to meet me and I just followed after him to the library's upper floors and he issued out a quest to me..."

"R-really? And the quest reward is [Linguistics], right?"

"Yeah, and something called [Book Keeping], not sure what that is...he also gave me the [Basic Language Mastery] which could upgrade to [Linguistics]...I just need a little bit more proficiency, but it took 3 in-game weeks just to get over 98,000 proficiency points, dammit!" Maria burst out in anger. She had been reading numerous books for the past week and hasn't been able to go out and grind some monsters.

Zelundo had basically locked her inside the library at this point. She kept complaining that it was imprisonment and a violation of human rights, but Zelundo scoffed at her and told her she wasn't even human to begin with so it didn't even matter!

By now, Maria had nearly read all the books inside the library, only a couple tens of books left before she finished the [Study Time] quest and maybe raise her [Advanced Language Mastery] to S rank. She did gain a whole bunch of INT and experience from finishing a book. The experience she gained had even leveled her up twice and her INT value had grown to an absurd amount. 

However, Maria still hadn't opened her [Status] window so she didn't know of this just yet.

"I'll probably finish later today, so I'll contact you once I'm able to leave the library!"

"Okay, that's good. By the way, you should join our guild already! We finally pooled enough funds together and we successfully created our guild!"

Out of the other three villas, Li Du landed one more. Logan and an estate buyer took down the other two. The house-pickers had poor loot that day.
They blamed it on Li Du and felt that Li Du was there to hinder them. It was he who had brought the treasure hunters there and caused them to win nothing.
In such a scenario, they naturally harped on the fact that Li Du had spent two million to buy a haunted house, just to vent their anger. They talked about it non-stop, with a smattering of critique.
Li Du nodded at Lu Guan and Lu Guan understood his intentions. He went off to check out the state of affairs as the house.
The real estate agent, Snyder, was already waiting. He took over the three villas Li Du had won and prepared to go through the formalities. He said, "Boss, you can go back first, I will sort it out for you as soon as possible."
Li Du stopped him and said, "No hurry. Regarding the villa on the hillside of Belair Pilates. This, one, do you know anything about it?"
Snyder has been involved in real estate transactions in Los Angeles for many years, and his source of information was much superior to Li Du's, as Li Du was a newcomer.
As he expected, Snyder indeed had information regarding that villa.
Seeing the photo of the house, Snyder's nostrils flared up slightly. He said, "You bought this house? How much did you pay?"
"What happened to this house?" Li Du persisted in asking.
Snyder threw his hands out and said, "This house is quite famous in Bellaire. It's known as the Haunted House or the Murderous Mansion."
"This house had been built around fifty years ago. In the first forty-odd years of its existence, everything was fine. However, around five years ago, something happened. At that time, the owner had been a lonely man. His wife and children had passed on due to an accident."
"The old man had lived a quiet, sad life. However, one day, he was suddenly very happy. His surrounding neighbors asked him what happened and he said that his wife and children had returned. He said that they were now living together again."
"From then on, the old man often went to purchase daily necessities, as though it was an entire family using those things, and not just himself. At that time, everyone thought that he was hallucinating. After all, he was a lonely man who lost his kin. As you know, such situations are understandable."
Li Du nodded, signaling for him to continue talking.
"Around two weeks later, someone heard a gunshot in the house. The gunshot had rung out just as the sun rose. Then someone called the police. When the police entered the mansion, they found that the old man had shot himself."
Snyder pointed to his chin and said, "The muzzle of the rifle was here. The bullet entered from here and blew up his skull."
"That incident was classified as a suicide. There were many strange things in the storeroom of his house. There were photos of his deceased wife and children, their belongings and other items. The police felt that the old man had mental problems and killed himself in his hallucination."
Li Du said, "They came to that conclusion simply because of those things? Isn't that over-simplifying it?"
Snyder said, "Listen to me, boss. It was not that simple. According to the information I got from an internal source, the police even found some items related to witchcraft. There was a bloodied small coffin, some ashes from animals, the preserved carcass of black cats and crows, among others. They also found a sinister book that recorded the spells of resurrecting the dead…"
"That has happened the year before. Then the house was sold off at a low price. A couple bought the house and moved in there with four children."
"Not too long ago, their four children started to say that they would see strange people loitering in the house at night. One of the children described the person he saw and the description matched the old man who committed suicide!"
"Those children had never seen the old man, nor did their parents. Logically, the children would have no way of knowing how the poor old wretch had looked unless they had really seen something."
"The situation worsened. On the one-year anniversary of moving in, the couple was awakened. They realized that their children were not in their beds. In the end, they found their children loitering on the rooftop…"
Saying that, Snyder gulped and said, "Boss, what I'm going to tell you next is not exaggerated at all. It's all facts."
Li Du said, "I will not doubt you, go on."
Snyder said, "According to what the couple said, the four children had been loitering on the rooftop with their eyes closed, as though they were sleepwalking. However, a strange smile hung on their lips."
"Then, just after they appeared, the children looked as though they had been led by invisible people who were holding their hands and pulling them off the roof!"
"They just watched them jump off?" Li Du asked, shocked. "The parents, the two of them, were they sleepwalking as well?"
Snyder shook his head. "No, of course not, they were very awake. However, they felt as though they were controlled by some invisible force. They were conscious as they got to the roof, but they were unable to move. It was like a nightmare!"
"Fortunately, after the two children jumped off, there was suddenly thunder. The sound of the thunder shocked the husband so much that he was able to throw off the strange force that was restricting him. He dashed crazily forward and held onto the remaining two children. That saved their lives."
Li Du stopped for a moment before he asked, "The first two children who jumped off, they passed away?"
Snyder said with a dark expression, "That's right. Those two poor children died."
"Later, the police interrogated the other two children but did not get any information. The two children who fortunately stayed alive seemed to have lost their memory. They could not remember what happened that night. A doctor's examination found that there were traces of atypical activity in their brains. It was like they were drugged. However, the medical examination did not find any kind of drug in their body."
"The couple was unable to bear with it and decided to sell the house and move away. From then on, the haunted house gained its fame, which caused its value to depreciate."
"Finally, a rancher in Montana bought the building at a low price. He typically did not live there, and he treated the house as a place to stay on his winter vacation. In his hands, everything seemed to become normal. However, in the first half of this year, another accident took place, and the rancher died as well."
"Three consecutive homeowners, three consecutive accidental deaths… this made the haunted house more and more famous. When the rancher passed away, the incident caused a lot of talking in the local area. Many people demanded that the house be demolished. Perhaps you weren't here at that time and did not know about it."
Li Du asked, "Then, how did the house end up here after that?"
Snyder said, "The house was bought by the rancher on a loan. After his death, the house was passed on to his son, but the son did not have enough money to pay the inheritance tax and gave up some of the inheritance, including the haunted house."
Having heard that explanation, Li Du frowned. This house was really quite sinister. No wonder the starting bid had been so low. He had not thought much about it then. He did not expect this to be the reason.
Based on the stories, he had really gotten a wretched house. However, Li Du did not believe in ghosts or haunted houses. Instead, he believed that there was someone behind all of it. Hence, he decided to move in and discover himself what exactly happened.


They love gold, and they love silver. Even more so, they love gems that dazzle, like stars across the skies. 
Firearms, jewelleries, and precious metals; A collector’s world will not be complete without antiques.  
Storage auctions, old goods trade, re-estate sales and gold-digging. But the truth is, if one wants to make money, then the supreme way is through searching for the legendary treasures. 
Holding the fort, there’s an ocelot, a wolf, and an Andes condor. At the side, there’s a loyal hound, an irascible ape, and an African honey badger. Who said that you can only rely on humans when treasure hunting?! 

The battle in outer space started initially at Newton Starfield Area 6, with the Federation’s 4th, 6th, and 7th Space Fleets grouping together as the 1st United Space Fleet met the incoming well-prepared enemy, a group formed from four Empire outer space fleets.
Both nations started moving in formation when they were at a distance tens of thousand kilometers apart. This was a cruel battle that could not be avoided. The mothership’s outer space fighter aircraft were launched out akin to bees coming out as a result of an attack on their hive [1]. These outer space fighter aircraft made up a dense number within moments, fluttering as they separated into their assigned groups.
In the vast outer space that was filled with myriads of stars, the scene portrayed was truly grand. For the sake of ensuring a safe distance in between, the various battleships of the fleets had to maintain a required distance, ensuring they had enough space to dodge and turn, thus, the united space fleet seemed extremely huge, and the outer space fleets’ blinking signals brightened up the dark space that was akin to a school of sardines, swimming together seamlessly.
As usual, the very first battle even in outer space was an electronic battle. Both fleets’ electronic interference systems gave it their all, though because the outer space fleets had enough energy and space to implement anti-attack equipment, and furthermore, due to the thick armor that was equipped with the capabilities of resisting against the interference attacks, the electronic war of an outer space battle had transformed into an announcement for the start of a battle.
This battle announcement was similarly intense, as nobody could be careless; once a side became careless, then the communication and commanding system would be captured or destroyed by the enemy. If that’s the case, there was no need to continue fighting the battle.
The gap between the two nations’ fleets started diminishing as battleships entered firing range. Both sides’ battleships had long finished charging their main cannons, firing almost simultaneously. Huge rays of photon energy shots were akin to condensed meteors, flying out in between the battleships of the two nations towards their targets.
Those battleships who were shot by the photon energy shots would have their energy shields flickering continuously; as if they were the ponds under the effect of rain, ripples constantly formed.
Several battleships that went first had almost instantaneously disintegrated before being  accompanied by a great explosion induced from the inherent energy, ammunition, and oxygen that spread out in all directions as it disappeared in the boundless cosmos.
Both nations’ cruisers had pulled to the wings of the fleets and charged ahead like the cavalry. These were the medium-sized light cruisers that had weaker weaponry but greater nimbleness. Their mission was to charge into the enemy fleets and kill them amidst their group as well as protect the battleships behind them.
The current battle was intense, as both sides took on a similar tactic, colliding with each other continuously. The main cannons of the battleships would have to recharge for 4 minutes every time they shot out once. As for the cruisers from both nations, after charging at high speeds for 5 minutes, they finally started clashing. Their main motives were not of killing each other, as that was left for those cruisers of similar size or the fighter aircraft battle groups. After shooting at each other rapidly twice, the cruisers then continued travelling at high speeds, as if they were arrows crisscrossing each other, leaving behind the remains of several unlucky cruisers that were destroyed.
The aircraft that was much more nimble than the cruisers was none other than the fighter aircraft battle group. These aircraft that held no resistance at all against the photon energy shots from the main cannons had nimbleness as their main characteristic; they were akin to fluttering poisonous wasps—stronger organisms that were attacked by a dense group of poisonous wasps would still die eventually.
Being at a disadvantage in terms of military power, if the Federation continued with this situation where they destroyed one enemy ship at the expense of one of their own, they would enter a predicament if they lost more than half of their forces. It would slowly increase to one of the enemy’s in exchange for two of their ships, then one to three, and so on until the widening gap culminated to the extermination of their fleets by the Empire’s fleets.
Watching his cruisers and fighter aircraft battle groups, the supreme commander of Leray Federation’s 1st United Fleet, Vice General Snyder, made a decision; they were to burn all routes of retreat. He ordered to let go of the cruisers, and for the fighter aircraft battle group to go all out in supporting the cruisers in breaking apart the stalemate, so as to maintain their local dominance and extinguish the fighter aircraft battle groups of the enemy.
This command was termed as the order that saved the entire Leray Federation later on in future generations’ of war research, causing 1st United Fleet Supreme Commander Vice General Snyder to become famous from a single battle.
The fleets of both nations were akin to two shoals of fishes confronting, swimming at high speeds in the vast space. Relying on the anti-lock system to make the right decision of evading the incoming cannon fires, the two wings of the shoals had soon tangled up with the main force comprised of battle ships and maintained their distance.
The scales that determined the victor of the war had tipped to the other side at this fleeting moment. Originally, the Federation space fleets had made a huge mistake—their cruisers and fighter aircraft were too far apart; this type of arrangement was clearly not in favor of the rhythm that came like a tide. However right now, this flaw had transformed under the keen senses of the Federation commanding officer into a tactic that gave them a great advantage!
Who would have thought that the fighter aircraft battle group would let go of the group of enemy’s cruisers before flocking up and causing the Gyaca Woods fighter aircraft group to suffer from bitter destruction? The Federation cruisers that suddenly separated concentrated their firepower and used a forceful arrow piercing formation to force the Empire’s fighter aircraft to disperse in order to avoid the attacks. At this moment, the Federation fighter aircraft appeared from behind the dispersed group of cruisers. Moving in a neat and orderly formation, they picked off the Empire’s fighter aircraft groups that were dispersed. They would never let down the trust of the officers on the main battleships who had decided to use their bodies to resist against the enemy’s cannon fire, resulting in them grasping hold of this fleeting opportunity!
That’s right, the Federation battleships were currently using their bodies to withstand the cannon fires so as to procure some time for the cruisers and fighter aircraft battle groups that battled on the two wings.
Without having any obstructions, the aggressive Empire’s group of cruisers charged at high speeds towards the Federation battleships. Meanwhile, the Federation fleets that were at a disadvantage in terms of military strength began to use their lives to change the formation to put themselves into a better positions to defend the aircraft carriers. The main battleships no longer cared about the enemy’s cannon fire and placed their focus on killing the incoming cruisers that were getting closer at top speed instead.
If the Federation’s formation of battleships were infiltrated by the enemy’s cruisers and the mixed group of Federation’s cruisers and fighter aircraft could not sufficiently damage the enemy’s fighter aircraft battle group, then the scale of victory would fiercely tip in favor of Gyaca Woods Empire.
The Federation warriors had made it. Their mixed group had rapidly eradicated the enemy’s fighter aircraft. The coordination between the cruisers’ main cannons and the fighter aircraft battle group was quite good, as they had exchanged a cruiser teamed with a formation of fighter aircraft with several formations of the Empire’s fighter aircraft, producing an obvious outcome.
The Empire’s cruisers were increasing their speed as they tried to make use of every single moment, as they had to destroy the defense of the enemy battleships before their own fighter aircraft groups were entirely wiped out. As long as they were able to achieve that, then their battleships would be able to exhibit an even greater firepower under the lack of cannon fire threat. If they were successful, they could even leave the firing range and stall until their own fighter aircraft battle group and cruisers returned.
But what they did not know was that their own aircraft battle group could no longer help them. From the moment they split, the aircraft group had fallen into a trap where they were forced to fight in disarray without any coordination or designated target. There was only one outcome for them after being marked by the well-coordinated cruisers and fighter aircraft battle group from the Federation—becoming a ball of fire in the black outer space.
Before the enemy reached 500 kilometers away from the Federation’s battleships, they had completed changing their formation. Two-thirds of the battleships retreated backwards while using their main cannons to continue attacking the enemy battleships in an attempt to maintain the firepower confrontation with them. The remaining one-third turned with their sides facing the cruisers; using the battleships’ body to cover, they also used the numerous auxiliary cannons to withstand against the onslaught from the Empire’s cruisers.

What is a Battle Mecha engineer expected to do? Are they expected to do research and realize their imagination? 

How about a Battle Mecha pilot? Are they expected to enter battle with their mechas as they display their exquisite control through bizarre and bewildering techniques? 

What about a member of the special scouts? Are they expected to infiltrate deep into the enemy lines as they use stellar unarmed fighting skills to suppress the enemy with a single move? Or are they expected to make use of disguises and stealth techniques to take out the enemy?

And what about a military officer? Are they expected to analyze the outcome of a battle? Or are they expected to create brilliant strategies to triumph over the enemy through a miraculous move?

For someone who excels in human psychology, deceit, assassination, and disguise, what happens when that person is merged with all those professions? 

This is the story of a cowardly, wretched, and despicable fatty.
