Humming a merry little elven tune, I was baking an avocado cake to enjoy with afternoon tea. 

It was almost done as well. I just had to mix this better for a few more minutes and it would be ready to go into the oven. To make sure everything was good, I tasted it. Hmm, it needs a bit more avocados. So I cut up another avocado and put a forth of it in the batter. That should be good. But... looking at it now, it seems that there is barely any avocado in there. And so 5 more avocados made their way into the cake as it was put into the oven. 

Perfect. Now I need to wait for it to cook. And then I can start decorating. Ugh, I hate waiting. Why can't this go faster? 

Then, Time, being the kind person that he is, grants my wish and speeds up time. Yay! Thanks, Time. 

I take the cake out to cool as a set out the avocado frosting and cut more avocados as a topping. As I am putting them on, my mind wanders to the tea. 

Of course, today's tea was going to be avocado tea. Earth went to get the tea from Star since it was her turn. Stars made the best avocado tea despite being crazy but I can get close with the new recipe I developed. One day I will surpass him and have the best avocado tea in all 5 realms. 

Well, I suppose that three of them don't really count. Souls don't need to eat avocados or anything else for that matter. And - this matter greatly breaks my heart but it is still true - that...there is n...no (gulp) avocados in the Mirror world. Isn't it devastating! "Ryn, are you done? The food is here," Mika called happily, holding two containers. She already passed the other food to the crews with the biggest pizza with extra cheese for Jack.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Mika finally noticed the weird atmosphere there but her growling stomach was more important.

She gestured Ryn to come closer to take her food.

"Not green again. I'm not a rabbit," Ryn grumbled when she took the container.

"Yes, Miss Carnivore. You need to control your eating habit for the show next week." Mika knew it was all on her shoulders to control Ryn's eating habit. Ryn ate too much meat and too fewer vegetables. 

"I bet you're loving this moment," Ryn grumbled. She did take the container even with heavy heart and looked at the content.

Not even a small piece of meat inside! It's all salad, cucumber, tomato and even her most hated avocado.

"Mika!"

"What?" Mika gave her an innocent look, could only guess Ryn already saw it.

"Why is that vile thing in here?" Ryn pointed at the small piece of avocado. Even in her dream, she could still recognize it. 

So vile it hurt her throat and eyes.

Both of them clearly already had forgotten the people watching them. Harry chuckled, could almost get used with this kind of display. He knew how close both Ryn and Mika were. It was clear when Mika almost all the time sticking so close to Ryn, even ignoring Jason, her own boyfriend. Even when the media was taking pictures, the one Mika was holding was Ryn, not Jason. That was how close both were.

Irene on the other hand froze. She thought Ryn would apologize more and beg to be included in their group but now… it seemed like Ryn did not even bother with them. How low did she think they were?

While her father talking with his underling, the daughter came closer to Ryn who was trying to finish her food.

"If you think you can show off and be the focus in the show, you're wrong. I will be the main."

Ryn put down the container she was holding and look at her. She cocked an eyebrow. "Try not to make any mistake during the shooting. I have to leave in two hours."

The girl's face turned red in anger. How dare… how dare this girl indicate she will make a mistake during the shooting.

"The admin clearly has no idea who Jack really is. They dared to tempt the devil so they have to face the consequence."

"They won't break the contract easily if they knew how much they have to pay back," Mika murmured almost thoughtlessly. She took a big bite of her salad and looked through the paperwork. "Maybe I should cancel this one or he'll say no, don't you think?"

"Regardless of what you think, we can't expect what is in his mind. Just expect the worst and make another plan," Ryn ditched the avocado into Mika's bowl and frowned even more, "I need meat for energy. Or maybe chocolate. Maybe chocolate shake?"

"You are not allowed to think about meat and chocolate, you hear me? Do not even think about it," Mika shook her finger at Ryn. "Open your mouth. This avocado is a superfood. All those supermodels eat it."

"Superfood, filthy food. I don't like it."

"I don't care. You'll eat every single piece of it and will like them."

Ryn sniffed.

"Why do I smell pizza?"

Ryn eyed Mika suspiciously.

"What pizza?" Mika looked at her food as if it was the most important thing in the world for her.

"Mika?"

"I seriously have no idea what you are talking about," Mika chomped another mouthful of salad.

"Mika, how could you?"

The girl shivered angrily. Clearly, these two girls were ignoring her. How dare them!

"Are you pretending not to see me here? Do you know who I am?"

Both Mika and Ryn looked at her.

"You're still here?" Mika asked finally after a few minutes silence.

Harry couldn't stop chuckling. He and his friends could hear them clearly. It was funny to see Jane who was so popular in the campus, not only because of her beauty but also her connection to her dad who is the CEO of the university was being ignored by these two. But then again, Ryn never bats an eye when she learned he was the most popular guy on the campus. Just 'oh, that's you then' she continued eating the steak he made with full attention, then said thank you politely and went back to her home with a full stomach.

"Jane is going to turn into Hell," one of his friends commented dryly.

"But those two won't care," Harry answered without thinking.

"They are cool."

Irene stormed away. She could not take it anymore. She was supposed to be the envy of the group because she was contracted as a model. Not only she was chosen just as an extra, but she was also ignored by everyone. It was as if her existence did not matter to any of them, not even to Ryn who was supposed to be her friend.

"Can't you stop blocking the light? I'm trying to eat here," Mika frowned at Jane.

"I need to go to the ladies," Ryn stood up and tried to walk away.

"I'll go with you."

"I can go alone, Mika," Ryn muttered and tried to stop her.

"And let you eat those pizzas?"

"I have no idea what you are talking about," now it was Ryn's time to act innocent.

"Ryn~"

On the surface, Ryn looked like a normal quiet girl who only focused on her study and did not even bother
about things outside her study. However, the whole campus was shocked to know she was actually a
popular model who just made a comeback after two years 'retired'. To make them more shocked when a
very popular singer, Jeremy was her ex-boyfriend and now wanted her back. Of course, to add the spice in her life, a model who is her university's mate fell in love with her.

I only wanted to be useful to him, so he would feed me even BETTER food. And now in the Leaf, I still get fed. Not much, but still decent. So yes, there is no point in me taking or passing this chūnin exam.

I know what I want, but more importantly, what I don't want. But it seems like Silver thinks I'm too "young and misguided" to understand what I want in life yet. Something about wasted potential and destined for great things or some other shit. I think he just gone crazy from reading so much of that Icha Icha.

I glared at him as he tilted his head and smiled with his one visible eye. He may seem friendly on the outside, but that man's a demon.

Not long after our encounter with the Sound ninja, some Amegakure team—some other all boys group—came along. We already had both 天 and 地 scroll, and being the gentleman I was, decided to let them go.

But the dumb shits persisted to play tag with us. Lucky for them, Naruto was finally awake to entertain them. Uchiha and I weren't exactly needed until we were approached by Glasses.

I attacked him, of course. I mean, who the fuck shows up to help another team unless they have some sick plan stuck up their ass that they're itching to release on us. But Fishcake was saved by him, so we called it even.

Still, something was definitely off about that "Kabuto" guy. It felt too "coincidental" to meet with him. My gut says something is wrong with that guy. I just don't know what yet.

But never mind that. There's a bigger reason why I hate him. Apparently after we all made it back to the tower, too many groups survived.

Twenty-fucking-one ninjas—double the number of survivors expected to remain after the fucking forest of psychos—to be exact. Thus, our proctors decided to host a fun little game called the "Preliminaries" where we fight each other and can get fucked to a pulp without any interference until someone "wins" as judged by Bandana. The fuck right?

So yeah, even if no one surrenders, I'll forfeit if I get matched up against White Eyes or the creepy Love Boy or Uchiha (who I absolutely can't take seriously) or String Bean (he throws me into a fit every fucking time) or Quiet-I-Have-Bugs-Living-Inside-Me. Yeah. Fuck.

Of the 21 remaining, only shitty Glasses successfully withdrew. I, on the other hand, was denied default by Team 7's beloved Sensei-Killer despite my list of valid reasons: I'm fucking exhausted after being forced to endure babysitting two idiots, being attacked by a Perverted Snake (whose name apparently struck a nerve in Silver—but didn't win me freedom), being bitten on the neck and branded with a curse mark (which I tried explaining disappeared only after Uchiha sucked a majority of my blood out), being disturbed by three peeping Pineapples, having my ears cry blood while Orange dreamt about some perverted shit, meeting Glasses, and finally arriving at the fucking Tower that doesn't look nearly as far and long as it actually took to get there.

"All the more reason to finish this," was all the sympathy I received from my recently registered sensei. Should've seen it coming. Other than his Icha Icha, nothing seems to really resonate well in his mind. Well, it's not like I didn't see it coming. All men are the same. Zabuza had his own secret stash of porn mags and I've already read that shit a million times.

So anyways, I had to stay and wait my turn to fight either a friend or foe to the death when my name was called. I am still waiting as I spend my time narrating this shit for you.

Uchiha is currently fighting some Avocado. Avocado seems to be sucking Sasuke's chakra. Smart move, but dumb when used against Uchiha. Didn't the poor man notice that Fan Boy barely had any chakra left by the time we reached the tower?

Turned out, Sasuke didn't need no chakra to beat Avocado. He copied String Bean Lee's technique, renamed it something cooler, and got all the girls swooning over him—Uchiha style.

Long story short, he won and is now being put onto a stretcher.

"Don't embarrass yourselves, Losers," said cocky ninja advised before lying back down comfortably on his stretcher and led out of the arena.

His wounds aren't even serious. The only thing making the scene dramatic was all the blood spurting out of the two holes—one that I proudly contributed to—on his leg. Other than that, he was perfectly fine kicking at Avocado. God, these Leaf ninja are spoiled.

"Next up…Zaku Abumi…against…"

I turned to see who this Zaku was.

[Oh that guy. Me. Me. Me. Me. Me. Me.]

"…Shino Aburame."

[Damn.] There goes the easy one. On the bright side, that eliminates Bug Boy (I've seen people from the Aburame clan and learned to identify them when I was working as a mercenary in the Mist. They have this similar feel to them, just like those Transparent-Eyed-Vein-Popping Hyūgas).

But even if I was to fight him, I'd have the upper hand. Bugs don't like the cold, and I just so happen to major in ice. But the result was for the better good—I detest bugs. Their bites are worse than that snake's—they can be so fucking itchy.

Anyways, I think I zoned out and missed the fight between Puppet Man and some dead guy. I would've fell off the rails if Orange didn't catch me.

"Next up…Ino Yamanaka against…

Blondie swiftly jumped off from the rail and perfected three flips before landing on one side of the giant stone hands. [Fucking show-off.]

"…Haku."

It was finally my turn.

When Kakashi deals the final blow to Zabuza, he accidentally takes Sakura down with him. Thus, homeless and alone, Haku follows the ninja back to the Leaf.

In which I, Haku of the Mist, under unpredictable and sure unfavorable circumstances, ended up filling the spot of Sakura on Team 7. What could go wrong with a three guy group anyway?

Pagi-pagi buta Alea sudah meninggalkan rumah tanpa pamit kepada kedua orangtuanya. Dia terlihat tergesa-gesa meskipun waktu masih menunjukan pukul 04.00 dini hari. Sedangkan jam kerjanya mulai pukul 8.00.

Di sebuah tempat yang sepi di bawah rindangnya pohon-pohon cempaka ia mulai mengeluakan laptopnya. Dia duduk di bangku tua, tangannya mulai menari di atas keyboard, mengetikan naskah untuk peluncuran novel keduanya.

Aroma wangi bunga-bunga dan segarnya udara pagi menyeruak hidung, menambah semangat dalam menuangkan imajinasi gadis itu. Di dukung dengan suasananya yang tenang serta sepi.

Tempat ini adalah tempat favoritnya menulis, dan menenangkan diri saat dalam masalah. Ini bukanlah taman kota atau taman yang berada di kompleks perumahannya, melainkan tempat pemakaman umum.

"Neng!" 

Alea menoleh ke arah yang menyapanya. Dilihatnya seorang lelaki paruh baya berkulit coklat mengenakan kaus putih dan celana pendek se bawah lutut dengan cangkul yang di pikul di pundak kanannya.

Alea tersenyum lalu menunduk pada bapak itu, "Iya, Pak."

"Ngapain Neng pagi-pagi buta gini di kuburan? Apa tidak takut?" heran pria paruh baya itu.

"Bapak juga ngapain? Apa tidak takut, Pak?" Alea memandang penampilan pria itu, dan menerka kalau ia adalah juru kunci pemakaman ini.

"Saya juru kunci, mau menggali kubur, semalam ada kecelakaan di sana." Pria itu menunjuk ke arah pagar tembok pemakaman yang ambrol. "korbannya meninggal saat perjalanan menuju rumah sakit dan dikuburkan di sini," jelasnya.

Alea mengangguk faham, "Saya hampir setiap pagi di sini, pak. Karena enak tenang ga ada yang menganggu konsentrasi saya," ucap Alea sambil tersenyum manis.

"Hiii gak takut hantu, Neng?" tanya bapak itu nampak ngeri atas kebiasaan Alea.

"Memang ada, Pak? Selama ini buktinya saya tidak pernah melihatnya," jawabnya sambil tertawa.

Hari semakin siang, di liriknya arloji pada pergelangan tangannya menunjukan pukul 06.00. Para pelayat yang menggali kubur tidak jauh dari tempatnya menulis pada berdatangan membuat makam menjadi kian ramai.

Merasa risih dengan pandangan aneh dari mereka, Alea pun merapikan laptopnya dan memutuskan pergi meninggalkan pemakaman, "Percuma, aku gak akan bisa kosentrasi, lebih baik cari sarapan dulu lalu ke kantor," umpamanya seorang diri.

Setibanya di kantor, teman kerjanya heboh membicarakan tentang peristiwa kecelakaan yang merenggut nyawa seorang gadis. Alea melambatkan langkahnya untuk sekedar mencari tahu, siapa dan di mana lokasi kejadiannya.

"Ririn? Ririn staf baru kemarin, maksut mu?" tanya seorang perempuan, berambut hitam lebat sebahu, dengan mimik tak percaya.

"Iya, Ririn itu, kasian banget, dia itu habis lembur, dan menurut saksi mata motornya tiba-tiba oleng menabrak pagar tembok pemakaman, hih serem pokoknya tempat itu," jawab wanita lain, berusaha menjelaslan.

Alea kembali mempercepat langkahnya, dalam hati ia membenarkan terjadinya kecelakaan, karena memang ada bagian tembok yang ambrol yang ditunjukan sama juru kunci yang ia temui tadi. Mungkin korban kecelakaan itu adalah Ririn, yang sekarang makamnya tengah digali. Sayang, Alea belum sempat tahu yang mana anaknya.

"Alea!" 

Alea menoleh, terlihat olehnya pria berwajah bule tampam dengan mata abu-abu kebiruan, berambut pirang , kira-kira tingginya sekitar 183cm. Tengah berada tepat di belakangnya. Menyentuh bahunya sambil tersenyum lebar.

"Pak Max? ada yang bisa saya bantu, Pak?"

"Laporan administrasi bulan lalu, sudah kamu buat, Lea?"

"Kan kemarin sudah saya serahkan pada Bapak,"

"Oh, iya," kata pria itu, yang merupakan atasan Alea, tersenyum canggung sambil nampol kepalanya sendiri. "ini Reyna tadi pesan kopi, aku tidak menyukai kopi susu, buat kamu saja, ya," Pria berusia duapuluh empat tahun itu menyodrkan satu cup milk cofe pada Alea.

"Terimakasih, Pak," jawab Alea singkat, lalu pria itu pergi.

Semua mata tertuju pada Pak Max dan Alea, sesekali mereka saling berbisik dan melempar senyum pada Alea saat menyadari gadis pendiam itu mengamati.

Saat jam istirahat, Alea tidak lagi berada di Taman kantor, tempat favoritnya. Dia berada di restoran depan tempat ia bekerja, berkali-kali menengok arlojinya dan sekitaran tempatnya, ditambah lagi dengan segelas avocado fload yang hanya diaduk-aduk tanpa diminumnya. 

"Sory, aku telat. Lama nunggu, ya?" ucap seorang wanita dengan rambut lurus panjang  berwarna maroon.

Tanpa basa basi, wanita itu langsung meraih avocado fload dari tangan Alea dan menyeruputnya tanpa sungkan.

"Sepuluh menit aku menunggumu, artinya, sisa waktuku tinggal 50 menit. Cepat kamu cek naskahku, sudah ada 15 halaman di sana!" ucap Alea sambil menyodorkan laptop yang sudah dia siapkan untuk diperlihatkan kepada Wulan, editornya.

Wulan membaca halaman demi halaman, raut wajah menggambarkan kepuasan atas karya Alea, terlihat jelas mana kala ia tersenyum puas setiap kali melewati halaman demi halaman.

"Wow, ini keren Alea, aku yakin, novel kedua mu ini pasti beas seller seperti novel pertamamu, BROKEN HOME." Masih memandang ke arah lap top di hadapannya sambil tangannya meraba gelas avocado fload lalu meminumnya.

"Aku pun berharap begitu, masih ada waktu 30 menit, kamu mau makan apa?" ucap Alea dengan nada datar, menatap Wulan tanpa ekspresi.

"Aku sudah kenyang dengan suguhanmu ini, kamu ambil tema misteri psyco, sungguh ini akan membuat pembacanya akan ngeri sekaligus ketakutan, sama halnya dengan BROKEN HOME, banyak yang sedih. Menangis terbawa alurnya," ucap Wulan sambil menyunggingkan senyuman yang seolah tiada habis.

"Baper?" Alea bersandar pada kursi dan melipat kedua lengannya di depan dadanya.

"Itu maksut aku, ok bye... Aku masih ada pekerjaan, ku tunggu kelanjutannya sampai and," ucap Wulan, menghabiskan sisa Avocado fload yang ia rampas dari Alea dan pergi begitu saja.

Alea mengamati perginya gadis berkaki jenjang itu penuh ekspresi yang susah dijelaskan, "Benar-benar unik, baru saja datang tanpa permisi main rampas saja," gumamnya sambil tersenyum kecil.

Alea menutup laptopnya, bermaksut meninggalkan restoran itu, tapi, seseorang pria berpawakan tinggi dengan wajah khas Indonesia dan berkulit sawo matang berteriak menghentikannya. 

"Kamu punya teman juga, ya ternyata. By the way, siapa dia? Cantik. Hehe," kata orang itu, Andra.

"Kamu mau makan siang di sini?" 

"Ya iyalah, tapi sama kamu, ya? Aku traktir deh, ayo duduk lagi jangan pergi!" seru Andra, dengan muka jenakanya.

Raito stored the Corpses in one of his Storage Scroll then left the room.

It's been a few weeks since the Day when Raito used his Rinnegan for the first time.
These past few weeks, nothing important happened except a Rumor about [Night Raid].
"We're going to split into 2 Groups," In the Meeting Room of Jaegers, Esdeath are informing the Members of Jaegers about the plan.
Esdeath planned that the Jaegers will formed 2 groups. One will head towards East while The Other One will head North.
"Roger," All of the members except the Raito who is sipping tea nodded.
"Then, let's go," Esdeath said as she left the Room followed by, the Metal Arms Girl, Dr. Stylish, Run. They would head to one of the Destination.
"Let's go too," Raito said as Esdeath assigned him to be the Leader of the Group.
Kurome, Wave, and Bols nodded as the 4 left.

"Don't you think this is a Trap?" Wave asked Raito.
"Most likely," Raito answered, after a long time of traveling the group was on their way towards the Rumored Destination of Night Raid's Base.
"Watch Out!" All of sudden Wave said as he was about to blocked the Attack that was about to hit Kurome, Raito already beat him to it.

Raito blocked the Attacked with his Wind Chakra Channeling Sword.
"Ah~" Raito lightly yelled as he was sent flying to the air.
"Raito!" Bols yelled to the flying Raito.
Like a Missile, Raito flew into the Air.
"Shit!" Wave cursed as he transformed into his [Teigu]
Bols also readied his [Teigu] for a fight.
While Kurome was greatly angered that someone just hurt an Important Person to her, Kurome treat Raito as a Big Brother as he was always there for her and always give her Biscuits when she need it.
"I will kill you," Kurome said as she unsheathed her [Teigu] and pointed it on the Air, then a black orb like started to form then 
*CRACK* *CRACK*
Corpses started to come out from the Ground.
"Good Job, Susanoo," All of sudden, Many of the [Night Raid] Members appeared behind the 2 horned man who sent Raito flying.
In a far distance, Raito is currently sitting on a thick branch while watching his Teammates and [Night Raid], Raito pretended that he was sent flying just to watch an Interesting Show.
Even though, Najenda saw that Raito was sent flying she knows that Raito isn't a weakling so she concluded that Raito pretended that he was sent flying and now currently watching the Show that is about to go on.
"Nee-chan," Kurom greeted Akame.
"Kurome," Akame greeted back Kurome as she unsheathed her [Teigu], [Muramasa].
Without further Ado, the 2 Groups started to fight.

The Girl with Lollipop trembled for a bit but managed to calmed herself, she turned around with a pout on her face while looking at Angrily with Raito.
"How many times I need to say that don't do that to me!" Chelsea said with a pout on her face, these past weeks, their relationship level up, well, that's Chelsea's Opinion. Raito would always appeared behind her and whispered on her ears making Chelsea trembled then after some scolding from Chelsea, Raito would give her a desert like food that he made himself.
"We're enemy right now, you know?" Raito said as he was slightly confused why Chelsea seems comfortable being with him even though they are enemy right now.
"Really?" Chelsea tilted her head in confusion.
"Because I don't really treat you as an Enemy," Chelsea said with a light smile on her face.
"Me too," Raito said as he pretended to take something from his pocket.
"Here," Raito handed Chelsea a new flavor of Lollipop.
"Avocado," Raito said while taking off the Plastic Cover of the Lollipop.
Chelsea took off the Lollipop in her mouth then threw it away.
"Ahh~" Chelsea opened her mouth as if saying 'Give it to me,'
Raito smiled as he put in the Avocado Lollipop in Chelsea's mouth.
"Good?" Raito asked
"8/10," Chelsea answered while still tasting the Avocado Flavored Lollipop.
"Hm," Raito nodded as he started to asked Chelsea what is lacking in the Lollipop and Chelsea started to answered his Questions.
The 2 doesn't seems care about their Team, which fighting in life and death battles.

Cho Min Joon hesitated and then took a piece of the back rib. His entire body trembled, and then he let out a sigh. The back rib was so delicious he got shivers up his spine. His mouth was filled with the flavors of Thom Yam, crab meat, and back ribs. Not a single thing was lacking. Cho Min Joon knitted his brows. He couldn't understand why such a perfect dish had to be redone.

"It's delicious. I want to steal this recipe."

"That's true if we were average people, but we're chefs."

Rachel responded in a wiry voice as if it was a fact that would never change.

"Chefs must go beyond the limits. I'm sure Min Joon would understand what I'm saying."

Cho Min Joon smacked his lips and then shut his mouth. He remembered making a risotto back in the day. Pear risotto. The predicted cooking score was 6, but He didn't leave out a single process and stayed focused. As a result, he created an 8-point risotto.

So he had an idea what Rachel meant but not completely. If it was 9 points, it did the recipe justice, and it contained both sincerity and skill. What else could be changed about it?

Of course, it might've been different from Rachel's touch. Perhaps, she could change that subtle part, but could that change bring the 9 points up to 10 points?

At that moment, Jeremy carried over a pot of avocado soup and approached them.

"Taste this first."

She suddenly had a hard time breathing. She remembered the scenery of that day. California, Venice Beach. The ocean, sand, and her pupil, who were sweating away in the kitchen. And her husband, who had collapsed on the ground.

"Rachel. Are you okay?"

Emily was looking at her in worry. Rachel stared back at Emily with a blank face and immediately shook her head.

"Anderson, Min Joon. I'm sorry. I made a big mistake. Don't immediately batter the boiled back ribs and wait a little after you fish it out."

"Okay."

Cho Min Joon immediately took out some back ribs. Just watching the back ribs sitting there made him feel itchy. He felt like he had to do something, but Rachel didn't give him any cues. The water had already dripped off of the back ribs.

Once the back ribs were dry and cold, Rachel instructed, "Now apply the batter and fry it." Anderson quickly took out his batter. After rubbing the crab meat batter and bread crumbs all over it, he placed it into the boiling oil.

Cho Min Joon stared at the frying batter with both anticipation and doubt. Jeremy took a bite out of the back ribs that were already cooked and asked, "This is really good. It can be even better than this?"

"Yeah. It'll be beyond your imagination."

Rachel answered in a confident voice. Jeremy took turns looking at the fried back ribs and the avocado soup. Rachel frowned and said, "No. Don't even think about playing with food."

"… What do you think I was going to do?"

"You were… Jeez."

He had dipped the back ribs in the green soup. Jeremy took a bite of the back ribs and grimaced. Rachel sighed and shook her head.

"Just listen to the chef."

"… Sorry."

The combination must've been so shocking that Jeremy immediately nodded without a word. At that moment, the back ribs finished frying. Cho Min Joon took it out. He shook out the oil and put it on the plate. He then looked at the back ribs with surprised eyes. After staring at it, Sarah opened her mouth.

"The color looks a little different."

"… Yeah."

The last back ribs were a little spotty while the color on this one was more consistent. Just like before, he added the potatoes Rachel carved on top as well as the pickles and vegetables.

Multiple windows popped up at once, but the only number Cho Min Joon was focused on was the 10 points. He was shocked that simply waiting for a little while made such a huge difference. Rachel calmly sliced the back ribs. She put it in her mouth and trembled. It was perfect. She wanted to show off this difference as soon as possible. She wanted to see what Cho Min Joon thought about it, but as soon as Rachel glanced at Cho Min Joon's face, she smirked.

"Why are you in awe if you haven't even tried it? Here, try some."

Cho Min Joon accepted the back ribs without a word. He slowly put it into his mouth. The first taste was similar to before. The breadcrumbs melted on this tongue, and as soon as he bit into the crispy batter, the flavor of crab spread throughout his mouth.

But it was after that. While the scent of Thom Yam exploded when he tried the back ribs the first time, this time, it simply brushed up against his mouth. But he liked that better. It was subtle. That flavor seduced him like a dressed-up lady.

Cho Min Joon burst into laughter. And after a few more bites, his face turned into one that looked like he was crying. He ate the back ribs with tears in his eyes.

It wasn't because it was delicious. It was intense and delicious, but what shook him up were various emotions, thoughts, and memories. He only thought in the far future. That it was the end of cooking and that the dish was perfect. Although he had only followed Rachel's orders, he made a perfect dish on his own.
