When a book-loving girl enters a fantasy world of magic, that is on the verge of destruction. what will she do??
Lead the kingdom to rise again or. . . become the reason for its fall!

The first step in treating wolfskin is to cut it into set shapes. It was not a difficult chore as rough handiwork was not an issue. Maneuvering his ice scissors, Benjamin did not take long to finish cutting up the wolfskin. 
The next step is to make a special mixture of dye. Thus, Benjamin crafted another basin-and-pestle combination out of ice and poured a few ingredients into them. Then, he began to grind them up. The production of dye still require a short incantation from a mage to attract some Wind Element into it. Unfortunately, due to his constitution, Benjamin could never get the Wind Elements even if he chanted the spell for a thousand times. Hence, he could only delegate this step of the process to the boss lady. 
Indeed, the movements of the boss lady exudes practice and efficiency. She had already finished her work with the yarn. With Benjamin’s reminder, she held the ice basin and chanted the spell to gather the Wind Elements and scatter them into the liquid within the basin, much like a chef sprinkling salt into a potful of vegetables. 
In an instant, the liquid within the basin started to boil and roll. Then, the dark scarlet liquid suddenly turned into a pure silver, and it was so shiny that the basin looked like it was filled with silver water that was vibrating slightly. 
When Benjamin saw this, he immediately soaked the cut wolfskin into the liquid.   
According to the instructions on the fabrication drawings, the treatment of the wolfskin will only be complete after it was soaked for half an hour. For efficiency’s sake, Benjamin had no choice but to place this basin aside before he turned around and start working on the other materials. 
At this step, even the System could not help itself as it sighed, "Mother of God, why is this cape such a fuss to make?"
As if Benjamin had a choice. The Hurricane Cape was already one of the simpler ones among the magical instruments he picked from the handful of fabrication drawings. He felt dizzy after just reading the production procedures for the rest of the instruments; making them would be off the table for now. 
However, there was only one material left to deal with after their continuous effort. 
The feathers of the Dark Ravens. They needed to be trimmed from its natural oval shape to a fixed rectangle before each individual feather was enchanted with Wind Elements to ensure their magical properties.
This is indeed a painstakingly detailed job. With a total of 80 feathers to tend to, and they divided the workload among themselves to work together. Benjamin will be trimming them with his ice scissors, and the trimmed feathers will then go to the boss lady to be enchanted with Wind Elements. This production line method did cause a spike in efficiency, but the process in tending the feathers still took more than an hour of their time. 
"I can’t do this now. My spiritual energy can no longer sustain this. I need some rest." The boss lady shook her head as she placed the feather in her hand down onto the table. Benjamin’s vision also blurred over after an hour of trimming feathers. He nodded in agreement, and both of them took a breather.  
After a short break, they turned to look at the ice basin that the wolfskin was soaked in. The silver liquid that was originally in the basin disappeared, and all was left was the cut of wolfskin. Not only that, its appearance changed too - it shone a shade of brilliant silver, as if it absorbed all of the aforementioned liquid. It was breathtaking. 
Furthermore, the wolfskin already attracted quite a number of Wind Elements. They surrounded and floated excitedly around it like tiny, happy elves. 
At this sight, Benjamin could not help himself but to take the wolfskin and caress it repeatedly as if he was petting a cat. He savoured the soft texture of the wolfskin, and for a moment he thought he was petting an actual wolf. 
Ah, how comfortable...
Benjamin returned the wolfskin to the boss lady after another round of petting. In contrast, the boss lady behaved differently from Benjamin; her stance was professional as she tugged and pulled at the cloth. Sporadically, she even nodded impassively, as if she was judging a cloth.  
"Hm, the softness is excellent, and it is pleasant to touch. However, it was also extremely durable and breathable. If this was used to make clothings…."
Benjamin wiped off some sweat. This magical material that they poured so much effort into getting can never be taken away by someone else to make into clothes. No. The boss lady understood this without needing his reminder. After some exclamations pertaining to her career as a tailor, she took the ice needle and the thread she made earlier to prepare for the next procedure. 
At this, Benjamin became alert and ready.
This step is the most crucial one in the production of the Hurricane Cape - they were required to follow certain steps, sew the thread onto the wolfskin to make an intricate design, cross-stitch style.  
Originally, Benjamin planned to take over this job by himself. However, his eyes were blurry after trimming so many feathers, and the lady boss was indeed full of experience in this area. She offered her service, and her words were ‘I’ve sewn more things than the roads you’ve walked’. Benjamin decided to just hand the job over to the expert.
The lady boss sat on a chair, the wolfskin and fabrication drawings draped on her lap, needle in her right hand while her left guided the thread as she sew it, one needle at a time. Her movements were precise from the start, and her whole being exudes professionalism.
Benjamin was initially very worried that she might make a mistake since the design was incredibly complicated, but he relaxed after a short period of observation; there was no way that she would trip over something like this. Honestly, if this was not her first time sewing this, Benjamin would expect the boss lady to be just like the knitting elderlies, who knit while they talked, their hands never stopping while they chatted away. 
Passing this job to her was such an efficient business decision!
At this point, Benjamin realised how great a thing it was that over half of the mages in the group had their own occupation before their lives as mages. Each and every one of them had maintain years of skills and expertise. Their group now possess a variety of skills, which was a huge advantage to them. 
Based on the fabrication drawings, it would normally take up to a week to sew the design, much alike to knitting. However, judging from the boss lady’s expert handiwork, she could probably finish this in 3 to 4 days, tops? 
In this process, a mage was required to chant a spell to add Wind Elements to it whenever a part of the design was completed. A total of 80 incantations will be needed for the design to be complete. After the design was done, they would place the trimmed feathers at the predetermined place for the Cape to finally be done. 
The arduousness of the whole process was evident, and the mage poured blood, sweat, and tears into making the Cape. As Benjamin went through the procedures, he gradually understood why the producing of magical instruments did not catch up throughout the years. It was not only due to the church, per se; the production was too perplexingly difficult. As mages, everyone took much care of their own status that no one was willing to spend such a long time and effort sitting and sewing clothes. 
Both of the economic factors and the troublesome production caused potions to overtake the status of magical instruments. Potions were quick to make, suitable to be used by a wide range of consumers, and people would return for another purchase after the potions were used. Magical instruments, on the other hand, might not have as good of an effect like potions, and they could be used continuously for a very long time that the sellers could not have a sustainable income. That was why they were not favourable among most mages.  
Of course, as magical instruments were almost extinct in the market nowadays, a Cape like this would cause a monopoly, and thus could be sold at an incredibly favourable price. The Mages Freemasonry’s efforts in preserving books were not enough in this aspect; they only managed to protect the Forbidden Spells that were worth researching. They had none of the production procedures for magical instruments. No one knew what they were thinking. 
"This cape will need a long time to sew. It’s better if you pass everything to me, so I could slowly sew it at home. I’ll inform you once the cape is done?" The boss lady asked as she rubbed her eyes as she finally raised her head after an hour. 
Benjamin was nodding off. He jumped awake at her question, then nodded immediately. SHe then picked everything up and prepared to return to her quarters. Benjamin thought for a moment before passing another two books to her. 
"Here, these two books are all about things like this. Capes aside, they also have drawings for clothes and robes. Take it and read it if you can," Benjamin said, "Will it be a bother if I hand this over to you? Will this interrupt your cultivation progress?" 
The boss lady barked out a laugh as she waved, "Of course not! I’m not familiar with this now, but once I grew familiar with making it, the process would be much faster. Still, you would need to hire me some helpers. Not mages, mind you, just basic tailors would do; I just need them to help me in minor things, else it would indeed be a painstaking job.  
Benjamin laughed as he nodded. He would need to hand the making of magical instruments to someone else anyways. This was the boss lady’s profession, hence he had no need to worry about this anymore. He would also find a way to hire the tailors that she require, but he would need to think of a way to ensure that the hired hands would keep the fabrication drawings a secret from the outside world.  
All in all, the prototypes of a Potions Workshop and a Magical Textile Factory are gradually setting into this house of theirs. 


Kubei was just an ordinary pencil and button pusher working a day job, hating his boss and making horrible speeches when one day he fell asleep after pushing an all-nighter. When he woke up, he was bound to a chair, facing three creepy robed women and in a body way too young and way too weak to be his own. Gun-Ho received an email from President Jeong-Sook Shin of GH Media.
She sent a list of five books to be published. She included in the list—the book titles, the number of pages of each book—the name of authors, etc. She also mentioned that two translators were working on translating these books into the Korean language because the work would be too much for one translator to handle.
At the end of her email, she added,
 
"There is a series of cartoons about world history which is very popular in amazon.com in the U.S. It is composed of thirty books. I'd like to publish this series in Korea, and I'd like to know what you think.
We are using the initial investment funds of 300 million won in publishing our first five books and another five books that we will publish, and also in operating our publishing company.
If we decide to publish the series of world history cartoons that I just mentioned, we will need an additional 300 million won. We will have to use over 3-degree color for these cartoon books and there are thirty of them. Of course, it's not like we have to publish this series, but I believe it is a good series of books.
I want to start working on this cartoon series as soon as possible before another publishing company takes it. Since this is cartoon books, it's hard to fail and to sell. I'm sure it will succeed.

Gun-Ho replied to the email,
 
"Dear President Jeong-Sook Shin, I will send you an additional investment fund of 300 million won as you requested. However, I will not increase capital. Instead, record it as I am working at your publishing company as a managing director. You can determine my salary in the range between your salary and the chief editor's salary. Once Four Major Public Insurance is filed for me, I will send 300 million won. You can record the money as you received it from GH Media's Managing Director, Gun-Ho Goo."
 
Gun-Ho was receiving his salary from three different companies. He was receiving 3 million won from GH Media, 15 million won from GH Development, and another 15 million won from GH Mobile. His monthly salary in total was 33 million won. Gun-Ho was subject to the aggregate income tax. But, since he was the sole owner of all three companies, as long as those companies were doing good, he was getting his dividends for 100%.
 
Gun-Ho sent 300 million won to GH Media, and President Jeong-Sook Shin made a contract with a publishing company in the U.S. for the cartoon series. The news traveled fast among the people in the publishing industry, and people started talking about GH Media.
"I heard there is a huge company behind, which is supporting President Jeong-Sook Shin."
"We shouldn't compete with President Jeong-Sook Shin. We can't win because we can't find that much investment funds."
"How did she get connected with that kind of big company?"
"That's why she was known as the hand of Midas in the publishing industry."
 
The architect office in the U.S. sent the design drawing to GH Mobile's office, along with the aerial view of the new factory. Gun-Ho was not an expert in this area, but the aerial view of his new factory that he would build looked so great.
"Director Yoon, can you make a clean copy of this?"
"Of course."
"Can you then make a copy of this and send it to the vice president of Lymondell Dyeon—Mr. Brandon Burke?"
"Oh, this? Sure. I will do that."
"We will have to include a letter with a copy of the design drawing and aerial view. Do you remember the interpreter who worked for us when Mr. Brandon Burke visited us last time?"
"Oh, yes, I remember him. The one who used to work as a branch manager in the U.S. Mr. Lee, I believe."
"Contact him and have him write a letter to Mr. Brandon Burke, saying that we are sending a copy of our new factory's design drawings and its aerial view, and we are ready to build a factory. Also, tell him that we'd like to make an official contract in the near future."
"Yes, sir. I will contact the interpreter immediately."
Director Yoon who was in charge of construction in GH Mobile sent a letter along with a copy of the factory's design drawings and aerial view to Mr. Brandon Burke who was the vice president of Lymondell Dyeon in Seattle, via EMS.
 
Gun-Ho received a phone call from Manager Seong-il Kang at GH Development. He said that they narrowed down to three final candidates for each position of a secretary and accounting staff, so they were ready for Gun-Ho to conduct the final interview.
"Sir, will you be available next Tuesday for the final interview?"
"Tuesday is not good. I have a meeting with the vendors and customers held in S Group. What about Wednesday?"
"I will set up the interview on Wednesday at 11 am then."
"Sounds good."
 
S Group hosted a meeting with vendors and customers in their headquarters in Samsung Town, Seoul. Many first vendor companies attended the meeting and many of them were big companies. Gun-Ho was one of them. When the meeting was almost over, someone came to the S Group's president and whispered into his ear,
"What? Our chairman is here?"
There were about 20 presidents of the vendor companies in the meeting, and the S Group's president said to them,
"Our chairman is here and he wants to talk with you all. Please stand up and clap when our chairman enters the meeting room, to welcome him."
The chairman of S Group was the owner of the S Group and he was an extremely wealthy man. Gun-Ho had never met him before.
"Our chairman is coming."
A man who seemed to be a secretary announced with a loud voice and the S Group's president quickly stood up. All of the 20 vendor companies' presidents stood up along with him.
The S Group's chairman entered the meeting room. He looked like he was in his 70s. He looked much younger in a picture on a newspaper though, Gun-Ho thought. But in person, he looked really old with a lot of age spots on his face. He certainly looked like a 70-something years old man.
"I am pleased to meet you all. As a matter of fact, without you all, our S Group will have to close our business. Don't you think? Mr. President?"
The S Group's chairman said to S Group's president. The president responded quickly and with a loud voice,
"Of course, sir."
"All we need from you is manufacturing good products. You just need to manufacture better products than the ones made in Japan or in the U.S. People say in Japan that they do 'Isshokenmei.'"
Gun-Ho was surprised by hearing it again because that's what the Japanese Engineer Mr. Sakata Ikuzo said before.
'Mr. Sakata Ikuzo even chewed a piece of plastic in order to taste the product that he was developing. The plastic contains carbon and sulfur, and he still put it into his mouth knowing the fact.'
 
The S Group's chairman seemed to be amused for some reason; he was smiling.
"Anyone of you knows what 'Isshokenmei' means?"
No one responded, and the Gun-Ho answered,
"That means a person risks his life to do something."
"That's correct. Let me see… You seem to be very young. Which company are you representing?"
"It's GH Mobile."
"Oh, I see. So, as the president of GH Mobile just said, I want you all to work so hard in developing good products to the extent that you risk your life. I believe that GH Mobile's president is doing so in developing their own products."

This is the story of a poor young man whose poverty even shreds apart their family willing to climb his way through society and into the top. A very realistic novel that moves away from fantasy and sci-fi and focuses solely on the issues of society and life.

With Luna's help, he flipped through page after page and soon finished the book he was holding. He recognized some patterns in the runes but most of them were unknown. The problem was that while the designs were accompanied by an explanation, it was of course written in Easan, which he didn't understand.

In other words, to understand what the unknown runes were used for, he had two options, he could either spend some time to try and translate the text, or he could just simulate the rune and see what happen. It goes without saying he chose the latter, it sounded way more fun.

He ran back to Catherine and entered his soul world. A few moments later, he was in his lab and proceeded to craft the first rune in the book. It appeared behind the Plexiglass and without further ado, Joshua activated it, his eyes shining with anticipation.

The entire lab exploded. Before he could react, his body was pierced by shards of Plexiglass succeed by being heavily burned by the blast. The force of the explosion projected what remained of his body several dozens of meters away. He landed on a 17-inch monitor, his head going right through it. His right arm was gone and the rest of his body looked like it was about to fall apart. With great difficulty, he used his left arm to push out his head out of the screen. His face was cut all over and full of glass shards. He spat one out and merely said one word: 'Whoops.'

Luckily, he was a mere spirit and he quickly reformed his soul projected body. Looking at the ruins of his lab, he scratched his head.
'Well, that didn't go as planned…'
What exactly did go wrong? He had runes not working as intended before when he experienced with the basic models, but he never caused a major explosion. While he didn't know what the effect the rune would have, he was sure exploding on activation wasn't it. He considered to mass produce this rune to use it as a bomb, but that didn't seem like a good idea. There were too many unknown factors here. For example, maybe he had put too much energy in the rune, or had put the energy in it with the wrong way. Maybe the rune couldn't be used on its own and had to be combined with another. Or maybe the text he didn't understand just said: 'This is a perfect example of the kind of rune you must never produce, as the design is so stupid, it will blow up in your face.' In any case, he had to set randomly trying out unknown runes aside from now on.
'Well… At least until I manage to build a lab solid enough to resist an explosion,' he thought, grinning.

He spent a moment cleaning up his lab and rebuilding what had been destroyed. The group was going to wake up soon, so he headed for the kitchen and prepared breakfast for everyone. The refrigerator was actually well furnished, he presumed Delila had been living quite the luxury life here. Grabbing a couple of eggs he started making omelets. Joshua was actually a fairly decent cook, following a recipe was like following a software installation procedure in his mind. This random thought he had would soon prove itself to be of vital importance.

As the party members woke up and made their way to the kitchen, they couldn't help but stare at Joshua who was dressed as a famous chef. He welcomed them with a smile, the table was well furnished by now and tasting what he had prepared, everyone was pleasantly surprised. Catherine was glad to see he was back on his feet and acting 'normally'. Of course, he didn't mention anything about the visit he had during the night so he just told her he woke up early to prepare food.

When they were done eating, Catherine decided to hold a status meeting.
"Everyone, with the discovery of this building, I think we have reached a milestone in our journey," she started, " I propose we remain here until we have inspected every nook and cranny of the area."
Everyone nodded, this place was an obvious boon for them, therefore, it was no surprise they all agreed to halt their journey for a moment.
"His Majesty is looking for ancient weaponry. The rune factory we found alone could qualify as a success for the mission," Eric added.
"Technically, he had no idea what he wanted when he sent us down here," Joshua added in a sarcastic tone, "He basically told us 'Go down there and find ancient stuff that can be useful for the war.' which is about as vague as it can get. We could just grab the weapons in the factory and go back up and he should be happy we actually found something."
Joshua didn't personally care for the mission, Catherine and he had a much bigger problem to deal with, the Crow. It just happened that their goal aligned with that of the king or he would have looked for a loophole to abort this ridiculous escapade.

"In any case, we should explore the entire area," Catherine said, "Cynthia, Lydia, and Boris, I'll charge you with inspecting the floors above. It's mostly in ruins but maybe there will be something useful."
The three nodded.
"Eric, Joshua and I will form the research team. We'll examine all the records and machines down here and learn as much as we can."
"About that, unsurprisingly the documents here are written in Easan. Translating them will take some time," Joshua explained.
"This isn't unexpected, can Luna help us with the translation?" Catherine replied.
"We'll need as much sample data of the language as possible. But even then, it will probably take some time. Auto-translation is incorporated in the system, but Luna can't translate a language that she's never seen before."
"I see," she nodded and turned to the exploration team," if you guys find any documents or books while searching above, bring them to us. Even the apparently most useless details, anything should help."
"Very well, we'll be on our way!" Cynthia replied, pumping her fist in the air before leaving along with her sister and Boris.

As for the research team, Eric was interested in the species in the vats so he would start by making an inventory of what was present. Catherine and Joshua decided to read as many books as possible to boost Luna's database. Catherine left ahead for the library while Joshua put the plates they had used for breakfast away.

He opened a random drawer and was surprised to find a book inside. He opened it, and it looked like a cookbook. As expected, it was written in Easan. He flipped through the pages and saw that several recipes were actually illustrated which gave him an idea.

He picked a recipe for what appeared to be some sort of salad. There were drawings of the various ingredients and the required amount. Based on the drawings, he figured out several vegetable names. Next, he moved on to the instructions and had Luna record the text. The first line stood right next to the image of a man cutting carrots in pieces with a knife. He then added 'Cut carrots with a knife' as suggested translation for the first line in the system. He repeated the process for every picture he saw. Unfortunately, there wasn't a picture for every line, so he ended up with a half-translated recipe. Not giving up, he made a guess at the missing instructions and tried to prepare the salad. This took him about 20 min. The end result didn't look very good which made him believe he had made a mistake somewhere. He bravely grabbed a spoon and put a piece in his mouth. It was disgusting. With great difficulty, he swallowed it. Still, since he ate it, Luna could analyze the food and make suggestions on what had gone wrong. He then revised his recipe and tried again.

It was about this time that Catherine contacted him.
"Where are you? I thought you would jump at the opportunity to examine all those runes."
"I think I found a way to improve our Easan that's more efficient than randomly reading books, come back to the kitchen, I'll show you."
She smiled.
"Well, if you think it's more interesting than runes, it must be quite something. I'll be right back."
A few minutes later, she was back and saw him busy cooking. She looked confused so he proceeded to explain his plan to use the cooking book to learn some words in Easan.
"That's a good idea, I'll give you a hand."
Their progress together was much faster, as some recipes were still known in modern-day Cestor and Catherine was able to fill in the blanks.
By the end of the day, they had managed to successfully prepare most dishes in the book.
While they were still a far way off of understanding a complex book about runecrafting, they had gained quite a bit of basic vocabulary.

The exploration team returned around six in the evening. Boris had made a few trips back and forth to bring the guardians they had fought at the entrance back to the lab. Eric had taken out a sketchbook and made drawings and took notes on the various creatures in the vats, unknown or not. As for the twins, they had spent the day gathering all kinds of ruined documents. Joshua glanced through them briefly to look for something easy to understand like the cookbook and rejoiced upon seeing a pile Lydia had found.

"Comic books!"

After dying, our main character found himself summoned by a young woman. She comes from a long line of summoners and had expected to partner up with a powerful being, like the rest of her family. Instead, she summoned a computer programmer, who from now on will be living inside her head. Powerless, he's unable to help her with the upcoming war. Disappointed that neither of them had been blessed by fate with some divine abilities, he decides to build a computer system inside her head himself.

As soon as Riwall finished the last routine, Edward said a few words about how Riwall needs to keep his high-intensity approach to the training and excused himself.


Riwall made his way to the shared bath, which resembled the ones made by the Romans, and got rid of all the sweat and red clay. He took notice of how the bathwater got slightly red-colored when he entered but in a few seconds became pristine again. According to a soldier that was there, it was thanks to an enchantment done on the floor titles.


He left his clothes in a trunk in the change room and was already dreading the fact that he would have to use it again after taking a bath. However, he was pleasantly surprised to open the trunk and find out that it was also an enchanted piece and that his clothes were as clean as possible.


Immediately he noticed one of the limitations of it: the clothes would be clean, but any damage done to them would not be fixed.


{I will have to ask Joshua for a few spare sets, this one won't last a week if today's training is the parameter.}


After asking for directions, he found his way to Hector's classroom. The Adventure's Guidmaster was already there taking notes of a book in front of him. Riwall had to cough to get his attention.


"Oh, welcome, Riwall! Please take a seat." Hector said with a smile.


{His demeanor is the complete opposite of what he showed in the guild, he is all giddy and full of smiles now. Back in the Guild he barely had any reaction when mom cried!}


"First, let me tell you how happy I am to be the teacher of you and your companions. I work as a bureaucrat because I am good at it and someone has to do the job, but my passion lies in researching magic and teaching it to the next generations."


He continued.


"According to your files, I have to help the other two develop their mana pathways. I expected this much anyways. It's extremely rare for commoners to have heirloom designs like most noble houses. Imagine my surprise when I read that you already had a pathway! Give me your hand. Let me check it for any fixable problems."


Riwall was reluctant to let a stranger circle their mana through his body. Hector noticed it and said reassuring words.


"Don't stress yourself. Even if I had any ill intentions, you would not be able to do anything. Hellen came to the guild an hour after Joshua left and asked me to check you, she said you designed your pathways alone and without any guidance. As you are still young and the pathways are fresh, I will be able to fix anything done wrong."


Riwall nodded and let Hector perform the check-up, he told Friday to keep her guard up, but she rebuked him by saying that she could not even imagine what she would be able to do to stop a mage as strong as Hector.


Hector's mana was much more fluid than Erika's. It made him feel cold and relaxed at the same time.


[In some ways his mana remembers Erika's, but this coldness stands out. It is a theory, but I think each person may have their mana attuned to specific concepts.]

"It's more than ok! I don't know how you did it, but your pathways are perfect. I have to give the merits of that to your Bless; your mother told me it was a high-grade one, so I can only assume it was responsible for this. No way someone without a deep understanding of magic could come up with such an ingenious design. We will talk more about it later, but I will give you some books about techniques to hide your pathways from other mages."


He got serious before continuing.


"Never let others know about your design. Anyone would kidnap you and hurt you to get their hands on a design like yours. Even the Marsastor's best design pales when compared to yours. As soon as I can, I will personally instruct you in ways of hiding and disguising it. You have my word."


Riwall gulped at the idea of being tortured again. Of the few things he clearly remembered about his previous life. Nothing was as clear as his memories of the pain he suffered.


The private session with Hector came to an end when Anna and Gregory arrived. Hector dismissed Riwall, but not before giving him ten books about magic and two about pathways-hiding techniques.

It took only 10 minutes for them to fill Friday's database with the book's contents and another 30 minutes for her to create a new one. Using the Earth's modern take on pedagogical techniques, the result was a book that used a simple language to convey complex concepts, making the harsh learning curve of the original texts something that could be easily absorbed even by kids.


Each of the kids received a big stack of parchment, a quill pen, and a small bottle of ink from Hector. Riwall went for the only desk of the room and got right into transcribing the book compiled by Friday.


He browsed the book in his mind and requested her to create some drawings to make some concepts even more accessible, which she promptly complied with.


She let go of all restraints they put together not to draw Edward's attention during training and guided Riwall's hands with mechanical precision.


In only 1 hour the 50 pages book was fully transcribed with impeccable handwriting. If someone from Earth were to look at it, they would say it was printed from a PDF. The drawings shared the same quality, but Riwall let himself be more creative and, with Friday's help, produced pieces that were both educational and beautiful to look at.

Friday helped his brain absorb everything in the book they made. According to it, magic casting revolves around providing a spell with three things: intent, information, and mana.


The intent dictates the nuances of the spell. If a healer wants his spell to heal, he needs to wish for it to heal the patient. Should the healer harbor ill intention, the spell will be twisted and can make a broken bone heal in the wrong way or heal the exterior of a wound while leaving the inside damaged.


Information is directly related to how mana-efficient the spell will be. If the mage visualizes how his spell needs to change the reality around him,  it will take less mana and time to achieve the results desired. For example, if Riwall wants to make a flame, he can do it in two different ways. Either he plainly wishes for it to manifest, or he visualizes all the physics behind the existence of the fire. In the first scenario, he will have to expend vast amounts of mana to achieve what could be done with a fraction if he used the second method.


And finally, the third requisite is mana itself. This mysterious energy is what fuels changes in reality. The clearer the mana, the more efficient it is as a fuel. Take Hector cold mana for example, according to the book and Friday's observations; his mana is attuned to water, which means he will have an easier time using it to cast water spells than if he tried to use it for casting fire and dark ones.


The book then goes a long way into showing how to cast your first spells. As all ten books were made with kids as the target audience, they still lacked much information. But it was more than enough for Friday to begin researching it.


[Want to try casting a spell or would you instead go to bed?] Friday taunted him.


{Like hell I would sleep after learning how to cast spells! Call my family and tell them I will be late for dinner! I will not rest until I can blow up an entire room!}

I will state here my promises to you, potential reader:

1. No harem! I don't trust myself to make a harem feel natural or healthy, I never met any person who has a personality that can adapt and live in a harem for reasons that are not monetary, so I can't draw inspiration from real life. Sorry!;

7. If in the future Webnovel comes to offer me a contract, I will first reach for the readers to know their opinion and see if they want to donate through other sites or not. It would be a dream come true to live of writing, but not if the cost is the alienation from the people that supported me along the way;

8. I already have 31k words on my auxiliary documents, I have a plan for the story, and I will not be making changes even if someone ends up noticing some foreshadowing and figures out what will happen. The story comes first.

9. I have a wife, a job that demands 9h every day and courses related to my job (lawyer) three days of the week, it's unlikely that I will be able to do mass releases at all. I will have a healthy amount of chapters to be able to post at least 1 chapter every day continually. Don't worry.

10. I will read all the comments. I will listen to all you have to say and will try my best to accommodate demands as long as they do not hamper the path I prepared.

11. There is an arc that spans the entire novel. Each volume will be an arc in itself while progressing a little bit of the main arc. Every arc will have one or more main antagonists.

Gosu took out a mini notebook that had red cover from his side pouch. It seems to be handmade as he browsed through the pages. Pointing his finger to one of the pages, he began to explain.

"The Inventor's Guild is the Kalderan Empire's official guild for research, development and innovation center!"

"There are around 10 lead innovators known as 'Proxima' and their current leader, Alphonse, is the Grand Proxima!" 

"Their range of work is to produce contraptions, which is made up of little things that work in tandem with each other to do one or many particular jobs at once! In terms, 'contraptions' is something similar to my Lord's 'machines'."

Showing his notebook to Theo, he gestured for the latter to come closer as the picture he draw is a little bit small.

"Here my Lord, take a look at these drawings that I made, these are some of their most groundbreaking contraptions that were renowned throughout the empire!" 

Theo leaned closer as he analyzed the detailed drawn picture with his fingers on his chin. Instead of drawings, this might even be suitable to be called as blueprints! He was amazed by the little details with side notes on them. Perhaps this Gosu fella is quite talented indeed.

After a series of flipping the pages, Theo's brows furrowed a little bit as he came to a rough understanding of what contraptions actually is. 

"These contraptions... It seems to be from the early days of human scientific innovation.." he remarked in his mind.

This is because what he could see is that there were presence of gears, shafts, axles, bearings, and mechanisms such as the belt lines to linkages. They are activated through the many traditional control components made up from a series of connecting levers. 

Although most of them requires manual labour through human or animal input to produce energy to work, there are some which harnesses the power of wind and hydro.

"Hmm.. this is interesting. But it still couldn't compare to my machines. After all, back in my world, these sorts of technology has been outdated for several centuries already!" said Theo casually.

Hearing this, the Village Head, the butler and Gosu gleamed with anticipation. After all, who wouldn't love advanced mechanism that could do wonders that people haven't thought of before? Gosu especially, was looking at Theo with awe and veneration!

His look was like that of viewing a treasure trove undiscovered for millennia. He was then immediately slapped on the back of his head with a loud 'pa' by the Village Head.

"You fool! Watch that face of yours! How shameless! Hmph!" reprimanded the Village Head.

"Eeeyy eeyyy what is wrong with you! You senile old man! Don't tell me that you don't get excited too with the things our Lord could take out from his world? Hmph! You are the shameless one!" replied Gosu with a cold harrumphed.

He thought how this old man was thoroughly acting like a good old fella. He had already caught a glimpse of that deranged smile on this old fool's face for awhile before disappearing in an instant when their Lord made the statement. Did he think the great observant eyes of Gosu would be fooled by his poor acting?

'Chak!' 'piuuuuuuu... Plop!'

The sounds of a walking stick that was thrown into the air and plunged into the nearby pond sounded. 

"YOU DAMNED YOUNG BRUTE! HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO YOUR ELDERLY!" 

The Village Head was thoroughly incensed by this Gosu fella now. How dare he stole his walking cane stick and even had the guts to throw it far away! He needed to teach this young man a lesson!

Lifting up his right palm in front of him, the Village Head spoke a sentence:

"Fireball!"

ZOOSHHH! 

A goblet of flames flew through the air after it formed out of nothing in front of his palm in but an instant. 

PSSHHH!!

"HAHA! you senile old fool! You can't even aim properly! Your fireball spell is too slow!" Gosu jeered on the Village Head with his tongue sticking out.

"YOUU!! COME HERE THIS INSTANT!"

As the Village Head and Gosu were busy in their shameful scuffle, Theo was abit dazed. His brains was mind-blowned as of right now.

"Magic! HAHA! I've witnessed real magic!"

Theo was thoroughly overjoyed right now. He knew that in this world there exist magic as the system has a description on it on some of his abilities. But looking at it the first time, he couldn't help but to feel agitated with happiness!

Everyone in his old world before were eager to use magic, but alas, everything was just a fantasy there. But now? Theo could experience what others could not! 

Coughing dryly, he threw a side glance towards his butler.

"Sebastian, does this village have a library where it contain books about spells and magic and how to use them?" Theo asked with a casual tone.

"No my Lord... But in my study rooms, I do have several spell books in my collection, although most of them are but low grade." pondered the butler before asking:

"Why do you ask my Lord?" seemingly curious. 

Based on his Lord's status, Sebastian had long made a conjecture that this Lord of his should have plenty of strong magic spell in his arsenal. Furthermore, His experience of the unlocking sounds of high tier seals in his head before by Theo had solidified that perception in his head to be as firm as a rock. 

Thus, he was puzzled as to why the Lord would suddenly be interested in magic spells before cooking some random wild thoughts.

"Its nothing, I just wanted to browse the level of this world's understanding in the field of magic. Looking through several spell books would do fine. Lead me to your collections now." replied Theo casually, seemingly to meant what he said.

In his mind, he was gleeing how this butler of his would give him free access to spell books for his system to copy and let him learn them. He was truly a genius. Or so he praised himself as.

Hearing this, the butler seemed to reach an epiphany that indeed what he thought was right. His Lord perhaps needed to analyze his magic skills and custom it a little bit to be similar to that of this world. Otherwise, he would get found out as someone from another world which might complicate things for various reasons.

The butler bowed as he lead the way, leaving the two fools alone in their petty struggles.

The weekend passed without any more incidents, Drake just stayed rest of it inside his suitcase studying and playing with his beasts. He only would go out to lunch or dinner with Scarlett, Cho, and Katie. Katie and Cho Knew that something happened, and they knew it had something to do with the Dragon roar. After all, only Drake had a Dragoness as his beast and the tense moments between Jade and Scarlett weren't hard to notice. He also taught Katie how to manipulate the spells better. Scarlett was still little perturbed about what happened, but Drake talked to her about that and other things. Cho preferred to read a few books and hang out with Cedric then learn more spell.
 
Another thing he noticed when he was not reading, studying or playing inside his space was that his dad or Peeves didn't come to talk or bother him.
 
During the day, Drake told Katie, Cho, and Scarlett to meet him near Hagrid hut. He and Scarlett would only start the punishment on Monday, so they still had some time to talk about Wednesday. They would talk with the twins tomorrow too since they had disappeared after the dinner, probably to prank someone. 
 
 
Later at the meeting point Drake, Cho, Katie, and Scarlett were all sitting while Hagrid made a tea and then went outside to take care of fluffy who has been a little lonely since Star didn't show up.
 
"Well, I marked this meeting with all of you because of yesterday. Something happened." Begun Drake talking after a few moments of awkward silence.
 
"I and Scarlett are in detention after classes until the end of this year. That's why we will have to change our future plans. Maybe on Wednesday we will have our day off since its Halloween but even, so we need to make some contingency plans," continued Drake.
 
"What happened for you two be in detention and what are you going to do?" asked Cho.
 
"I bet it has something with yesterday's growls," said Katie.
 
"You got that right Katie!" said Scarlett before Drake could answer.
 
"You can blame me for that, it was my fault…" continued Scarlett.
 
"No, it wasn't! It was also my and Jade fault, after all, it was Jade who challenged you first…" interject Drake.
 
"What?! Why does a dragon need to challenge you?! Unless you…" said Cho before she stopped and started to look between Drake and Scarlett. She probably discovered why the two were fighting but it missed a little detail since they never heard of an animal assuming a human form, so it was impossible to associate Scarlett to be a Dragon.
 
"Damn girl, you should have pissed off Jade for good and it seems that Drake here is guilty too," said Katie.
 
"That doesn't matter anymore, the shit is done, and we cannot escape from that. Seeing the positive side, Scarlett will be working with Madam Pince in the library which she can access the forbidden part of it with a little luck and a few breaking spells. And I will be working with Mr. Fish which I can access to his office and search for some clues about the vaults since Ill be going around the school with him." Said Drake with a smirk on his face 
 
"Damn! I feel sorry for you Drake working with him hahhaahahah!" replied Katie laughing.
 
"That's it's a very good plan although you will be working with him and you Scarlett…the access to all those books…maybe I should break some rules too hihihihihi!" said Cho giggling.
 
"You can perhaps take a few books for us to read" continued Cho while she looked at Scarlett. If a person would pay attention to her eyes would see that they were twinkling.

While Drake and the trio were talking in the hut, Dumbledore was in his office looking to the papers on top of his secretary. Fawkes was by his side being stroke by him with a look of happiness in her face.
 
"Damn that brat! He was so dense, where did I fail to rise him" rambled Dumbledore when he looked at the papers coming from the Ministry. Next week the Ministry would send someone from the Department of Regulation and Control of magic creatures to investigate what happened yesterday.
 
"And these guys were quick, some teacher must have said something…"
 
"Let's hope that they send someone that can see through the Animagus form and hope that they buy the same story I told the teachers. He shouldn't be able to break the seals this week so I'm not very worried about them to discover the beasts inside his suitcase."
 
"Well, I also need to warn Hagrid about them maybe I should help him hiding Fluffy inside the school:"
 
After rambling a few more words, he finished his monologue and went out of his office after stroking one last time Fawkes and to put his memories in the Pensieve.

Somewhere inside the forbidden forest, there was a cave in the ground. One could see light ember coming from inside of it and if someone entered it, they would see that the cave walls were all painted with some strange drawings. Most of the drawings were about a bunch of figures all dressed in black which they were forming a circle and in the middle of it, a diagram full of ancient runes.  
At the end of the cave, a figure could be seen sitting on a dark and old secretary with a book in his hand and a few letters spread all over the secretary.  The figure was covered in black and only his two red eyes could be seen from the hood. One of the letters was signed at the bottom with an R.
 
The figure finished reading the book and then grab one of the letters. After reading it he started to laugh like a maniac.
 
"Well, I only wait for two years until someone started to search the vaults again hehehehe! I hope that this time they find the last vault after the last failure. Maybe I should test this bunch."

After they finished the meeting, in Hagrid's hut, Drake and the girls said the goodbyes and went to their respective dorms. Drake and Katie were together until they arrived at Gryffindor dorms and went each went to their respective dorm. Drake after checking if anyone was watching him entered the suitcase, tonight he was only going to play a little bit with hid beasts and then go to sleep since last night he was up almost all night looking at the runes used to sealing his beasts and making new alchemy experiments and a few potions. He also studied more advancing spells of DADA. He was eager to tomorrow since he was hoping that the reply letters from his uncles would arrive tomorrow.

This is a story about a boy who was adopted by Albus Dumbledore during the first wizarding war against The Dark Lord Voldemort. Follow him and his friends, beasts and other stuff on the adventure.

Author notes: 
1-	This is a story that will be during the time of the cannon of harry potter. The MC will be maybe ½ years older than the trio.
2-	There will be romance and probable harem but only later. Since I don’t think 11 years old kid will start to think with their d*** at that age. And the romance will be built not like those typical harem novels where the MC sees a beautiful girl and start to f*** her.

Due to the sudden emergence of a new game, the game development companies were shocked. They were speechless about how good the game was. But they still had to run their companies. Everyone was working around the clock for the last 7 days trying to find clues in the setup files of the game.

If they could find out how the game was so smooth and required such less specifications it would revolutionize the gaming industry and everybody yearned to make this tech theirs. But no one could find out the reason from the setup files. Because the setup files were nothing else than highly compressed 3D models, music and animations of the game. All the game mechanics were in the server.

The company directors contacted each other and found out that each of them had obtained the same result. The directors of overwatch, PUBG, etc then got tired and decided to hire hackers.

They paid out $10,000 each and hired numerous hackers to hack the servers.

Shuvam had been drawing this all time. He decided to use the PC. Andy notified him of the attempts made by numerous hackers because of the hackers the various companies had employed. Their efforts were futile but this managed to piss him off.

Shuvam shut down these companies servers for a hour. The staff in the respective companies tried to re-route the servers and many more things but the games were just non-playable for this one hour.

Shuvam also released a video on his hood games site. He was wearing the same demon mask.

" Hello, I am hood. I hope you players are enjoying my game. As for you guys from **** , ***** ,etc companies don't probe. Every one who employed those incompetent hackers has been punished. Your company servers won't be functional for a hour, no matter what you do. My game is uncrackable and you mere maggots can't crack my game or hack my servers."

He thought that this might help him settle down those companies but this had gotten them more angry. But they had to admit that it was indeed an futile attempt to hack those servers. The thing was they couldn't even find the physical location of those servers that had stuff about it.

This video of his was viewed by millions. The channel ' hoodgames ' had over 5 million subscribers on YouTube. This video had gotten him lots of fans. Various fanclubs about the hood were made all over the world. Few gamers looked up to him as a god.

This video message and incompetence of hackers was a major blow to the hacker community. Various hackers started trying to hack the servers of this game. It was like a challenge to the hackers. Most of these hackers were from anonymous.

Shuvam then released the info and history on each and every hacker that tried to hack his servers onto his website. He was a bit pissed at the Anonymous guys.

He then quickly hacked into some high ranked and skilled hackers of anonymous who had a bit of say in the group.

He had his mask on. The various top ranked hackers were good at what they did. But they were suddenly hacked. Their monitors were playing a live feed of a person who was wearing a demon mask. They were always on the internet so they naturally recognized who he was.

Shuvam said, " Hello, you guys are pretty much the high ranked members of Anonymous. I did this to tell you something. You guys seriously need to control you members. Tell them to fuck off from my website and my servers. They will never be able to hack them. So hope you do as I said or else your group of ' computer lovers ' will meet its end. After all, it would take just a click to send each and every members list of things they have committed and personal information to the authorities."

The hackers were already drenched in cold sweat when the guy said you guys because they realized there must be quite a few members he had hacked. And being able hack all of these people simultaneously, they didn't doubt the masked man's words that their group might collapse and they might get arrested.

The transmission was cut. All of them used various channels to tell their members to stop attacking the servers of hood. ' The hood ', this name was known by pretty much every good hacker and all they had was fear and respect for this guy.

Shuvam was finally able to calm down after this day of taking care of hackers. Even though the system's game were known to be in crackable but he still needed to ward off any people with I'll intentions. He had to make a reputation for himself so that no one would mess with him in the near future.

There were about 5 days remaining till the first day of his college. He stayed home during this whole time and practice his drawing. He had finished over 20 sketch books. They were all filled with life like drawings. Supriya was quite surprised when she saw this because she knew that shuvam didn't use to draw. As a matter of fact, he had never drawn.

Supriya was surprised by his drawings. Shuvam then offered to draw a picture of his sister. He drew her in under 5 minutes and the picture was really good. Supriya loved the picture. She took it to her room and uploaded it on Instagram while tagging shuvam and saying that he drew it for her.

Shuvam's room had been messy due to the various finished and new sketchbooks lying around. So, he decided to buy a book shelf. He went to the daraaz website and had his bookshelf offered. It's design was really good and gave an innovative and futuristic kind of vibe. He paid $150 for it. He had it delivered before this evening.

It had arrived just after he had reached home from the gym. He then places the book shelf in his room. He placed the finished sketch books on one side and the new unused ones in another side.

There were 26 sketch books that he had finished up and there were about 3 unused ones. He always bought 5 sketchbooks  at once every time he went to buy them. Just because he would finish one or two sketchbooks every day or so.

He then had dinner and slept. Next morning he woke up at 6 AM, which was unusually early for him to wake up. He had some milk and bread and went to college on his bike. This was probably the third or fourth time after he bought the bike. Major reason for this was that he rarely went out so he didn't actually need to use it.
