He thought of an awesome idea that would let pretty much every gamer around the world know about his game. He first of all went on the internet and looked for a mask.

After about 15 minutes, he finally found a good mask. It was a demon mask made of hard plastic. It was black in colour. But the problem was after paying for college and buying a bike he didn't have the money left to buy a $60 mask. If he pooled together all his leftover money, he had only about $ 20.

He then quickly called his cousin and told her to transfer him $50 for a while. Supriya didn't ask much and transferred it. He quickly ordered the mask and it was supposed to delivered tomorrow afternoon.

He then went to the gym as it was already time. The day quickly passed. Next day, he got the mask. He then quickly put in on and sat in front of his PC and said something to Andy.

" Hello, my name is hood. I have to discuss something with you guys. Now listen carefully. "

Shuvam was doing a video chat with about 8-10 people. It looked sort of like a conference call but he knew that the others could only see him and not each other.

All of the people had a grave expression on their faces. They were scared and terrified of this masked man who had hacked their computers and was saying that he needed to discuss something.

" You guys are famous and you like games. After this call ends your browser will automatically open a website. Download the game mentioned there and by tomorrow you need to tell your followers about the game. "

" If not, hehe..hehe…. You know, something bad might happen. Thank you for your time, gentlemen. "

The video call ended. The people who just saw this transmission noticed that a website loaded up in their browsers. They quickly looked at the trailer and their interest was piqued.

' I need to play this game ' , they thought while looking at their computers.

Each and everyone had already started downloading the game. In his room, Shuvam had a satisfied expression as he noticed that the number of downloads went from 0 to 9. It was exactly the number of people he had just contacted.

If one was a gamer they would have probably recognized the nine people from just now. After all, they were no other than youtubers. Those nine people included famous gaming youtubers such as Pewdiepie, vanoss gaming, Markiplier, KSI, Syndicate project, W2S, Ali-A, H2ODelirious and theRadBrad.

The idea he had thought of was to get famous youtubers to upload videos about his game on YouTube. Well, he asked Andy to hack into any 8-9 famous gaming youtubers who were currently using their PC. The people he just talked to were randomly selected but as a gamer he very well knew who they were.

He took off his mask and went to do his things.( things - Reading novels manga and watching anime lol) Contrary to his expectations, the youtubers he just talked were no longer thinking of him as bad news. Their thoughts about the demon masked guy inclined more towards the fact that he maybe an apostle of god.

They didn't dare to be late after the warning and installed the game but when they played the game. They were in shock as to how advanced this game was. It was almost as if they were playing some game that was made about 20 years from now. After all, one person per account, iris-scanning, face scanning in order to model the character with your facial structure. It even calculated your estimated height and body structure based on you face and made a body for you. This function was quite good and they were blown away by how correctly their heights and weight were estimated.

There were no classes in the game but a choice for profession was available to them.The gamers quickly selected a profession. They were all thinking that choosing a profession was normal and selected one immediately. What they didn't know was that it was reward.

The first 10 players were given to get a profession for free as a reward where as others would have to rely on their luck around the map in order to obtain the obtain the profession. It would be available after you found a scroll thingy which would provide your character with the profession. There were various professions such as weapons designer, vehicle modifier, scrapper, pharmacist, etc.

The people with profession were supposed to be rare in the game that is why only 20-25 thousand scrolls were scattered across the map. After the number of consistent players increased to about 5 million at peak hour a day he would release 5 thousand more profession scrolls. It would be and 5 thousand scoll for every one million increase in players.

When the game opened, there was a small animation telling the condition of the world. The players,nine of them were stunned by the real life like animation but what stunned them more was the game's surroundings, its AI. They were stunned by how this game was almost like a different world they were viewing from their magic desktop.

They suddenly remembered that they needed to upload videos. They started using the in-game video recording software and made various videos. They included the very first missions such as getting the apocalypse watch from the base personnel. The flexibility of that game that allowed people to freely talk to the NPCs' and interact with them was also a awesome thing.

The quickly edited the videos and uploaded them. Seeing the most famous youtubers upload videos about some awesome game. It was like a domino effect. Lots and lots of people started downloading the game and started playing. Everyone was happy with the game and were telling their friends about it. Also, the low specifications required and low internet speed required to play it made it possible for even people with crappy PC and slow internet to play it.

Thanks to the in-game video recording software of the game, videos about the game and its extensive map being scouted by the players were popping out here and there in YouTube.

However our Mr. hood had no idea about it and was reading novels as he thought , ' Wonder if the youtubers will give the game a try or not. '

The crystals from the system were also selling like candy all thanks to the connecting the bank account option. People were connecting their bank accounts and buying crystals, at least the ones with money were doing this.

The money was being directed to his account on the dark web. Unaware of the massive cash flow and popularity of the game, Shuvam had his dinner and went to sleep.

It's been four gruelling hardworking days of me, studying businesses and management. Over the four days, I took my first company game Flapping Tweety out for the world. It was out for all users whether it be IOS, Android and so on.

I advertised through my own social media. Its attraction was slow as the art style could be said to be ancient for a modern game but seeing as I was the one who made it got popular on the Third day with people posting on thier social accounts about thier achievement. 

Today it had gained a huge number of players with numerous stars jumping on the trend. Flapping Tweety had also become the biggest talk within big game developers. Such a simple game that could be made by a high schooler is getting more attention than a game that took 4 years with a large development team.

They simply couldn't except such a backward game beating them but it did and they had to know why. How did I know all this? Well duh, I have Natalie keeping track of the gaming companies. She basically listens in on every meeting they have and any mention of Flappy Tweety within the company is, immediately recordings down. 

I've already set my eye on a building in L.A to accommodate my company. I've also taken it upon my self to buy an apartment building near it as to give cheaper prices to employees. This might seem a bit much but with so many competitors I need a small leg up on the other companies.

Though I'm nowhere near to the amount needed to buy it with my calculation I should be able to have the money by the end of the month. Now, where is this money coming from? Well, there's the 5% share in Vague and with my recent popularity the "Looney Tunes", "Tom and Jerry" and "Frozen" clothes are selling like hotcakes.

I've also been invited by a few stars to write a song for them. The pricing for a song from me has been set to a modest $2,000 plus a 10% in its digital downloads and physical copies. They immediately backed away but I've made my stance clear. 

Another way of making cash fast was to auction off my failed blankets.  Well, they are a failure for me as my standard for my own work is very high. I've also planned to do a collab with some of the other YouTubers that specializes in craftsman. The YouTubers specialized in blacksmith, woodworkers and some artists. 

What do the YouTubers get from it? Well, actually they'll make two masks one for thier fans and one for my fans. They send it to me to customize. Then we put it up for auction on the website that I make. I knew that their job is extremely expensive especially for the blacksmiths. So when I put the idea forward they agreed immediately.


We set rules on it that only fans would get invited to the auction site. Each fan slash subscriber that's been with them for at least two years will be sent an email with a personal code, then they can use to enter the auction. That's for a future project as the there more important thing to do today.

Today is the day I am left alone with the kids. My objective is to make them happy and that's all that matters.

After paying for it I activated it and then in the top right corner of my vision was a timer counting down from 24 hours. I was pretty excited to see what this "max lucky fun" actually meant then my excitement was immediately doused in the flames of system bullshit.

"Fuck You!" I was beyond words angry

"The time now is 6 in the morning this means that that tomorrow will be the worst morning of my life. Ughhh" I said with a tired groan

"Hey Nat, tell me do I have anything important tomorrow," I said lazily while leaning back on the sofa

"It the first day of filming your scene in two broke girls," Said, Natalie

"Shit, what time?" I said hurriedly

"09:30 am"

"Urghh Why do I feel like it's gonna be worse than what I'm actually expecting," I said with a lot of grief 

I then hear Megan shout from upstair "Theo, the girls will be here in a bit, to drop off th kids then well be off to California"

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing" I shouted back 

A few seconds later I hear the kids and two other footsteps enter through the front door. 

'Okay, Dad mode on' I thought happily 

I thought it would be easy but the kids were not dealing very well with the idea of thier mom's leaving for the whole day. All I could hear were their sniffles, cries and thier mom's comforting them.

I take the kids into my arms and hug them tightly and said "It's okay, Big brother is here to keep you company, don't worry we're gonna do so many fun things like. . ." 

'Oops, I didn't think this far ahead. What the heck do we do for fun' I thought nervously

"You just won three free VIP tickets to a zoo" Said Nat in my ear

'There's VIP for a zoo???' I thought confusedly 

"That's right we're going to the zoo, it's gonna be so much fun," I said with an extravagant tone

Their tears and sniffles come to a sudden stop as they said "Realy?"

I smile and look towards my girlfriends "I think I got this. Call if something comes up"

To be a star is a simple Idea but to turn a boy that's been secluded from Society into one is much more difficult. Even if you took on his body you still felt his anxiety, insecurity and more. It's slow but worth it.

The Mc is beta at the start as he is a character that suffers from anxiety due to his upbringing. Although it did take 23 chapters for the Mc to show visible growth that's just due to my naturally slow pacing.

It was the 3rd month of Tanatswa's unemployment and things weren't looking up for him. He had surfed the web for companies that would put to use his programming skills, even submitting his CV to businesses that didn't seem like they would need an IT person, but alas, his efforts were met with no responses and harsh berating from his mother. He had been called lazy even though he dedicated the entire day to emailing more than 300 companies. Things were tough but his parental figure's scolding didn't make it easier. Some people got jobs through nepotism, knowing who is who in the market, and the fact that' that piece of networking advantage was lacking in his arsenal of talents, made him feel seriously fucked. 



Even when he did get replies and went for interviews, it almost always seemed as if for some reason, he didn't meet their requirements. Tanatswa took his time to learn more web development frameworks and useful tools like Angular.js, Bootstrap and even advanced forms of PHP. He believed that he could impress a potential employer if he closed the gap of knowledge he had concerning things he needed to know as a developer. The growth was ever so slightly an improvement that made him more competent and capable of handling much more complex software projects, but alas, even that effort didn't pay off. This was undoubtedly a dark time for this young man's life.

 

During this period of his life, Tanatswa tried to find outlets to make money, even returning to the skill sets he had given up on to pursue his education. Though, if was being completely honest with himself, he had barely made it through university. He graduated with a 3rd class degree and finally cleared his tuition debt. He wasn't one to keep debts and liked to owe no one anything, but realized that most of the business tycoons he had read about didn't pay their taxes and owed a lot of money to the government. This made him consider whether or not he felt good about being a debt free person who is also broke and unemployed. The thought would make him feel like shit and he would avert his mind onto other matters, matters like getting back to drawing his comic and entering it for an online contest or pursuing a youtube channel that never really experienced any growth. 



Tanatswa had liked art and also partly chose a computer science program because of his interest in game design and the marvelous art that was accompanied with video games. His art skills were rusty but he knew that with a little effort he could get back into it and level up in the skill chain. Apart from farming the coding knowledge on the internet, he would now dedicate his time to improving his gaming skills and killing time with anime youtubers. This was rather a pathetic lifestyle as compared to the expectations that society expected from someone like him.  

 

Tanatswa went through a gradual slump in his life, but was neither an overt trouble maker and got along with most people, exhibiting manners and respect towards people of all walks in life. However, this wasn't always the case for people who he found annoying or deemed insufferable. The pool of friends that this young man had was small and even he didn't believe that he had anyone he would classify to be his best friend. Whenever he felt depressed or wanted to have a discussion about a show he liked, he didn't have anyone to really indulge him in an interesting conversation. Even if he couldn't do it face to face with someone, the online options weren't always to his liking. Going on forums or even the discord servers to find someone like minded was as tasking as getting a job. 



Sometimes the fun people were there, but their appearance was rare and having to filter through the trolls, memers and the perverts who could not get into intellectual discussions peeved him a lot. He eventually got frustrated and barely used any of those platforms. Facebook, twitter and even Instagram got boring for him. Even youtube slowly began to lose its sparkle. Shows that seemed to have their shine became repetitive and he no longer saw any value in consuming their content. This would propel him to search for other content creators, but when he would find their stuff, after a while he would get bored. The young man felt bewildered by this gradual decline in interest and worried about his mood swings.

 

After a while, Tanatswa had two websites up, one as a web application and another as just a normal site. He thought that maybe due to a lack of a portfolio that maybe he had been side lined from job opportunities because of that and decided to send a link of his work included to his attached CV. This happened at the same time as he was about to finish drawing his comic which he was going to submit to a contest. He was thinking that if things were not going to work out on this Japanese site he would take his material to either webtoons or tapastic. He was now in his 5th month of unemployment and he really wanted his efforts to pay off. As he expected, the inclusion of his finished works made a difference and he got called for just 2 interviews. However, this didn't go as he expected.

 

At interview number one, the tall 6 feet tall, ebony skinned, skinny Tanatswa, came in to an office that was at the outskirts of town. He was well dressed, and looked super dashing in his light grey suit, beige shirt and black tie, accompanied with crimson shoes. He didn't have the broad shoulders to finesse his appearance but at least the tailor had made a suit that matched his body type. He walked into the building that looked more like a home that was being repurposed to be a working environment. There the young man went through the process of telling the secretary that he had an appointment with the head of IT there. The woman on the desk who had a nice face but a body that was in desperate need of exercise, made a phone call. Tanatswa waited and darted his eyes everywhere. 



The place looked kind of interesting and there were a lot of certification frames placed all over the wall and as always, the picture of the president of the country was on the wall. The place looked homely, but eventually, Tanatswa's time for his face to face with his potential employer was about to begin. A stocky man who was light skinned, wearing a striped shirt and black trousseaus called for him. Tanatswa followed the man's lead and meet him in his office. There Tanatswa was grilled about his intentions for working at the company, and the shock of his life came from when he got to see how his 2 websites looked on the man's device. The employer had a Mac desktop and its screen dimensions were extremely wide and everything he worked looked different on it. Some of the icons were off and looked like shit.



 Tanatswa opted for the man to check how the website looked on his phone and laptop, lucky for him, the man gave it a shot despite getting an immediate negative impression from the desktop orientation of his websites on his Mac. The websites looked fine on the other devices, but the fact that he had missed one mark had messed his chances. Finally they gave him an aptitude test to see whether or not he could demonstrate real coding capabilities. 



Tanatswa was given a website that was done by some company that wanted it revamped, but the source code seemed like an abomination. It was well commented but it was clearly a template that was reworked by some tasteless developer who left a mess. It was chore to go through and even more of a struggle to find all ids and classes used for everything. Going through the mess took a while and soon enough, his time limit was over. The end result was that they would assess his performance and give him a call. A week passed and he never got a call and the other interview he went for turned out to be a disaster. This was only the beginning to a perpetual list of misfortunes.

 

After Tanatswa had submitted his comic and got his results after 2 months of waiting, he had mixed feelings about the results. The judges essentially stated that he had the best story out of all the contests but his art was in the lower bracket of their score. Due to this uneven scoring, he didn't place really high in the ranking but he got an honourable mention. This was the first time he was acknowledged for his talents by an organisation and he felt a bit happy, but this wasn't really the result he desired. If he had won, he would have claimed the prize money and moved out to pursue his comic as a published author serializing in their magazine, but even if that did not happen, at least he got consolation that he had writing talent. Tanatswa began to dabble into art tutorials online at the same time doing chores for his mom, who seemed to only escalate he indignation towards the unemployed youth. 



Tanatswa's goals had shifted and he now wanted to become a comic artist instead of dedicating his time towards finding employment where employers didn't seem to want him. This change in what he wanted to pursue fuelled him with fire and he practiced stuff like foreshortening, figure drawing and complex angles of dynamic poses. Sometimes the drawings would come out well, but for the most part it was a struggle. Tanatswa began to wonder whether or not he would ever get as good as the artists he idolized and wondered whether or not he should team up with someone really talented to draw in his stead, however, the young man wanted to make this happen through his own merit. He finally entered another contest but this time, he was unlucky.

 

With the popularity of the prior contest a behemoth of pro artists were attracted to the upcoming one and entered it. His art had improved and his story was plausible but compared to the elite talent that had joined in, his work paled in comparison. Deep down inside he envied them and wished these pro god tier artists would have entered something else so that the rookies could get a chance to shine, but nevertheless, his final chance was taken from him and he was left depressed. Tanatswa thought about the webtoon and tapastic options but the only way to make it on their platforms was to have a consistent release schedule of work and also to become a featured artist on their platform. Featured artists would get paid plus with the promotion from their site, a creator could leverage the traffic drawn to them by opting for a *******, but it took him forever to get even one issue out and his mother seemed tired of supporting a bum like him. Thus he would have to be sent to the village and subsist on farm life or live with his poor uncle in the worst possible part of the country. 



The gamble had not paid off and he was unemployed, a failed comic artist and a failed developer. Eventually, drawing itself became a painful experience. The young man turned to porn, masturbating 3 or even 5 times a day, sometimes he would go on those dating websites which he knew were a waste of time because 95% of the user base were men and the supposed sexy women who wanted to get laid were actually bots posing as actual people. This morbid catharsis made him laugh inside but also made him feel like shit. He was 23 years old and feeling like a loser, but he always made a point of hiding that side of him. Tanatswa never liked wallowing in misery and showing the world that he is sad. Whenever he had the chance, he would always dress up and get fancy hair cuts that made him look cool and dashing, hiding his broke appearance, but that was it, it was all just an appearance. He pretended to be okay, dressed up nice and faked a smile, but was really dealing with depression. He reflected on his life and even began to associate his lack of success as to why he never really had luck with women. He had never gotten laid and he was already 23 years old. 



The closest thing to anything sexual he had gotten were lap dances and really arousing grinding from women who probably had to sit on top of at least 40 random crotches of men in a night. This was mainly a means to deal with his sexual frustration, but at those clubs that he did go to, even married men or guys who had girlfriends would get lap dances, grabbing women's asses and doing unholy things with them that they wouldn't even consider with their significant other.


 Tanatswa believed that he wouldn't have had to come to such a place if he had a girlfriend and probably wouldn't even do it for fear of being unfaithful, but seeing all the alpha males getting lap dances, fucking side hoes at the same time having a girlfriend or wife,  gave him a slight paradigm shift. Being a decent human being didn't matter; all he needed was power, fortune and luck! It became clear to him that he was competing in this world at a handicap and needed a boost. However nothing relieved him from his suffering.


A full year had passed and he was now destined to continue his existence at either his uncle's decrepit living hell hole or at the village to become a farm boy. Tanatswa no longer enjoyed drawing, programming, watching television or even waking up. He got interested for a while in music production, exhausting more than a 100 tutorials and even made a few decent bangers, but then after  some research he realized how cut throat it would be for him to even make it in that scene. At that point he was just throwing darts into the air and hoping that something would just stick. He was wasting time, caught in morbid thoughts and drowning himself in some doom and funeral metal to wallow in his misery. The music gig didn't work out, even the acting gig he tried bombed badly. Everything seemed hard and all he was good at was failing. 




Tanatswa sat on his bed and cursed, "Fuck the world, fuck it, fuck it all!" He looked at the ceiling and darted to the left side of his bed which had a pile of tissues that were covered in the semen of his 6 masturbation sessions. It dawned at him that he was nothing but a piece of shit human being and that he wanted to die.  After all he had done throughout his life he had decided that there was one thing he had to succeed at doing. Ending his life!

A young man struggles with unemployment, failed dreams and overall becoming a useless member in society and decides to kill himself. Upon seeking this method of death, he encounters a being from the alternative realm who gives him an option of starting his life over from scratch, from level 1 on his planet. This gives him the chance to finally carve out a path for himself that he could never do on earth.

I'm afraid to talk a single thing about that. my parents are very religious and strict too, as a result not only demanded me to marry a girl but the girl should be of our own standard and cast.

We walked in when we heard a scream...

It was the school principle, he was so excited that a know face walked into his school. He continued to carry on until Jack finally walked over to him and, tapped him on the shoulder and quietly said; "Come on man, there is someone here! Please try to make a good first impression." The principle listened to Jack and went quiet. I started to get scared, but next thing I knew, he was walking up to me and shaking my hand. He greeted himself as Ian Hecox, and then another man walked into the room Jack, Mark, Felix, Ian, and I were in.

The man that just walked in, his face lighted up. He was just as excited about meeting me too, my only guess would be that they rarely get any new people coming to the school, but i did see about 100 people outside when i came into the school. To be fair everyone that i could see was in their mid-twenty's to early-thirty's, and i am only 16.

This other man walked over to me, and also extended his hand to me, and me his name was Anthony, I told him my name, and they started to talk to me about their powers. Unfortunately they finally got onto the topic of my power, and as i said before, "I have no power." I quietly whisper out afraid of what the grown men would say that was surrounding me.

all of them looked at me, saying 'really' at the same time, and i just nod. Jack started to walk over to me,  and I started to get even more scared then before,  with i had once throught that was imposible. I start to back up as he walked towards me, the Irish man then stopped giving me a sad look,  and turning away. I hear the man sniffing,  and i saw a few tear drops getting on the ground. My legs started to shake as i start to wonder off,  and started to think of youtubers. Just anything to get the worry off of my mind,  and ithen i remembered him... Jack,  or should i say Jacksepticeye? "SEAN!!!!" I scream out into the open,  and he turned back. Sean looked at me with that same sad expression on his face,  and he turned back,  i then shout out again: "SEAN!!! ITS ME!!! BRITNEY PACE!!!!!!" Sean turned back,  and his face clearing up,  and a smile replacing that frown that was once on his face. Sean ran up to me and hebfave me the biggest hug on the planet and a smile returns to my face well.

After hugging Sean for a couple of seconds,  if that,  Mark and Felix screamed out; "Britney and Jack sitting in a tree,  K I S S I N G!!!" I instently pull back fom the hug and i give Mark and Felix a dirty look,  and then saying; "MATE!!! WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?!?! I'M ONLY 16 JACKNIS ALMOST 30!!!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!?!" Mark puts up his hands and the air,  and slowly walks away from me. Felix just stands there shocked that i could be so loud. As i look back to Sean, I see his eyes were almost bolging out of his head. I giggle a little to his reaction, and then he takes a big deep breath in, starts to yell absolutly anything and everything.

After the full minute of screaming Sean did, I loked at him shocked. Sean looked at me with a massive grin on his face, and said: "I would like o see you try to beat that!" I looked at him with a 'you kidding?" face, and he shock his head...

So.. From reading the comments section there were some questions I will answer. Sorry that I just noticed it, but I forgot to check comments on old chapters. This will be a short  Q&A chapter.

Q : when will you open your discord server?
A : idk lol its not complete yet and I don't feel like there will be many people there since I am practically a small writer. But I can try to finish it and I will let you all know.

Q2 : what games do you play?
A2 : I am pretty sure I've already told you that some time ago, but I will do it again.. I am a veteran in call of duty games, but I don't play them anymore.
The only thing I play now, is

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS - WORST CANCER COMMUNITY. I CAN'T QUIT BECAUSE I AM ADDICTED!
ELDER SCROLLS SKYRIM 5 - DOVAHKIIN.. DRAGONPORN
HUNIEPOP - I enjoy puzzle games and this is rewarding, don't judge me I have fiance already and we play this together xd once you switch to hard mode it's impossible to pass. 
MAJIKOI - Really enjoyable visual novel, I have finished this game like 7 times already and it's still fun. It has many many sequels and all of them were just as enjoyable. 
And some more visual novels that are great but I don't feel like writing an essay. 

Oh and after like 8 years i finally checked out Minecraft and it isn't so bad. The last time I've played it there wasn't even a hunger bar so they advanced it pretty well. I even saw a turtle. 

Q3 : What music do you listen to? 
A3 : Anything that has a rhythm and I enjoy it. From anime openings to death metal. Pop rock metal techno dubstep eurobeat literally everything. I will create a YouTube music playlist for you guys later. But it will take quite a some time to make since there are too many songs. You can check it out later once I make it. 

Q4 : What are your favorite streamers and YouTubers? 
A4 :  streamers like on twitch? If that's the case, then I enjoy 4 people on twitch. 
Kimchi and Tofu - reaction channel. Cute couple reacting to anime and stuff. 
Vaxei - one of the best OSU players.
Yassuo - Best Yassuo world although he is mentally challenged (joke). (No I am not a yasuo main.)
Pinoy - fun fatty reacting and playing games I like. Persona, danganronpa, resident evil etc.

Q5 : What is the best anime in your opinion and tell me your 5 most favorite anime. 
A5 : Steins gate. Probably the best anime ever made. It's great, there are many references to other anime and stuff. And when you realize that they made an anime out of basically only an internet joke called John Titor its really amazing.
The depth of the show is insane. Characters are unique. I love science. Voice actors on Okabe and Kurisu are perfect. Literally a perfect anime.

Li Yao held a handful of black seawater in his hands, only to discover that the seawater was like a combination of mucus and sand. It slid through his fingers in a very weird form.
It seemed that the collapse of the Virtual Spirits Sector had affected the fundamental logic layer. Even the dynamic model of the ocean could not be kept steady anymore, which resulted in all those uncanny changes.
It was a cold and quiet world. Li Yao did not sense much vigorous auras of life.
Walking along the beach for a long time, Li Yao discovered that the only thing that could be called 'life' was the weird creatures everywhere to be seen on the beach, which were combinations of crabs and jellyfish, like airless balloons with countless tentacles growing out.
All the weird crabs were absolutely still and emitted the most insufferable stench of putrefaction. There was no telling whether they were dead or 'alive'.
Of course, they were not virtual life generated by the Virtual Spirits Sector by itself but the artificial intelligence added when the Virtual Spirits Sector was constructed. The original plan was to use them to modify the primitive ocean, monitor the data changes of the virtual water, and accelerate the birth of virtual life.
However, because of the collapse of the Virtual Spirits Sector, the virtual life was never born, and even the core databases of the artificial intelligence became long and redundant. They were caught in infinite loops because of data overflow and could not perform any operations anymore.
Boom… Boom… Boom…
In the purple sky, the dark clouds were rolling sluggishly and rumbling every now and then. But the thunder had only the former half but not the latter half, like roosters whose necks were grabbed. The noises that came to an abrupt halt halfway were most discomforting.
On the other side of the beach was a boundless metropolis. Li Yao observed despite the long distance, only to discover that the modern city seemed to have suffered the most severe earthquake and meteor shower. Traces of collapsed buildings, explosions, and furious fire could be found everywhere, making it look even more desperate and soundless than the black ocean.
"Hello!"
The Virtual Spirits Sector gave him a very uncomfortable feeling.
It was almost like the collapsed world was the only thing left in the entire universe, and he was the only one left in the collapsed world.

Gradually, the sand drawings had their own content and framework. Although they still looked rather naïve, they did give the feeling of primitive beauty that reminded Li Yao of the murals that the cavemen left deep inside their caves.
The content of the sand drawings seemed to be the depths of a primitive ocean, where all kinds of bizarre creatures such as fungi blanket, unicellular algae, nautili, and trilobites could be found.
As the primitive ocean creatures gradually evolved, the sand drawings grew more and more sophisticated, and the arrangement of the content was more and more delicate. The long scroll of the evolution of creatures was depicted vividly in a lifelike way with the tiny grains of sand.
Ocean creatures, reptiles, mammals, primates, enlightenment of the Pangu Civilization, birth of modern human beings, division of mankind, wars, and development. The scale of the sand drawings became larger and larger, and the structure was more and more complicated, rising from a plane to a 3D object. In the end, it was no longer a 'drawing' but a statue of an enormous scale. There was not the slightest brightness in the eyes of the two little kids that were made of sand. They showed no sadness, delight, fright, or fury at the tombstones that had drowned the entire world.
Li Yao swallowed hard. He somehow felt that such a long scroll of drawings looked familiar, as if he had seen it from somewhere else before.
Right. Was it not exactly a sand-drawing version of the vivid Half-Step Grand Illusionary Land in front of the gate of the Tinder Base?
However, at the end of the 'road of evolution' that Professor Mo Xuan built, what replaced human beings were giant silver balls made of liquid metal that were similar to him.
At the end of this scroll, on the other hand, despite a whole planet of tombstones of human beings, there were still two little kids raising their heads watching the starry sky. What was that supposed to mean?

It is a piece of cake in terms of technology and computational ability. As long as the database is large enough, the job can be completed immediately after the instruction is inputted into the crystal processor.
"The key problem is, who gave whom this 'instruction' and for what purpose?"
His question rendered everybody silent. Every member of the inspection team felt cold at the back of their head, as if two pairs of glittering little eyes were grimacing at them while hiding amid the sand.
On one knee, Li Yao observed the sand drawings carefully. Somehow, they gave them a strong feeling of weirdness, as if he were familiar with the sand drawings for no good reason.
Feeble electric currents swept across his body, making him feel numb from his eyelids to his lips. It was hard for him to say whether it was joyful or uncomfortable.
How should he put it? It suddenly occurred to him that the sand drawings seemed to have been made by himself. Or rather, if he were asked to depict the road of evolution of life, the final result would be very familiar to the sand drawings.
Li Yao was greatly alarmed. Calming himself down, he continued asking, "Did you find the pieces of 'No. 17' and 'No. 18'?"
