Jessica gaze upon Audrey, she knows that the new client that her sister was talking to was speaking of puzzled words…. Because curiosity kills the cat Ms. Samantha…. Audrey retorted.
The Vallini's and the Vendari's would like to have an exclusive contract to your boutique; you  will be assigned to design and create the downs, tuxedos and other outfits of the royalties who will be attending the  A Night to Remember, Vintage Masquerade Charity Gala….. As for our companies' collaboration, please do consider it. Audrey explained everything to them.

Jessica ask her sister, as Samantha handed over the picture to Jessica, her body begun to tremble, her eyes become misty…..Who draw the emblem Ms. Belikov she inquired Audrey….. It's Ms. Autumn who draw that, why Ms. Jessica; is it familiar to you she asked. Jessica just shook her head but deep inside her heart she knows who it is…. The strokes of the drawing, the colors….. Everything….. Everything is done by Luna…. Her Friend... Their Best Friend…..We will sign the contract Ms. Belikov and we will make sure that our company will provide you everything and anything that you wanted. Jessica retorted. Samantha and Cassandra was so shock as they heard her decision. 

So it is settled then…. We will send you the final contract tomorrow. Before I forgot, Lady Autumn wants to give you this…. A simple present from her to you…. I hope you will like it. Audrey told them and gave the present to the Wu triplets…. As soon as her work is done she left them….. What was that Jessy?! Cassandra sounded angry but can't argue with her sister, since this is the first time she have spoken. Louie and his friends are dumbfounded.

Samantha opened her gift first, what she saw gave her a surprise as she didn't have any idea how this Lady Autumn knows her favorite….. Lady Autumn gave her a turtle dove figurines…. Not just one…. But 12 turtle doves…. As she recalls what Luna told her, when she received the 1st ever turtle dove gift from her….. "Turtle doves are a symbol of friendship and love. Keep one, and give the other to a very special person. As long as each of you has your turtle dove, you will be friends forever. And Turtle doves symbolize love and faithfulness" And in her heart, she knows that it is only knew that she collects turtle doves…. Her eyes become teary eyed and she gaze upon to the gifts inside the box... Cassandra Wu opened her gift, it's a Custom Engraved Gunmetal Pocket Watch; the customize engraved drawing was an infinity sign…. Now it's her turn to cry….. It was only Luna knows that I collect pocket watches….. She uttered….. On the other hand, Jessica becomes nervous; she have the biggest gift box….. All of them looks to her. She gave a sigh before opening it….. As she opened it her tears flowed again to her face; it flows nonstop…. As she trip the box, it shows a very large music box, and a 3 dream catcher…. When she rotates the lever of the music a soft sound of violin and piano was heard…. It's "Howl's Moving Castle Theme", Samantha and Cassandra said in unison... It is Luna…. I know It is Luna's doing… she is alive Sammy, Cassie….. She utter as she sobs….. And on each gifts there is a Black Rose within with a note that states "Life had moved on and so had I".

Louie was shock to know all of these, Samantha can you help me probe to ourselves that Luna is still alive please do reconsider about this matter.... we have to dig deep in… he was pleasing to them. Ethan and Kim took pity to their friend, they knew that Louie is becoming agitated for what is happening to him….. Louie, Jessica called him; if Luna is alive what will you do? Are going to atone yourself to our Luna? Are you ready to open your mind, eyes and heart just to know the truth behind the Moon? Are you ready to relinquish everything that you have? Jessica is asking him seriously. Yes, I am ready Louie responded. I want answers to my question that is on my mind….. I think I'm going to be crazy if I don't know the answer.

Jessica walks to the bookshelf and pull out a book which is colored black and there is s design of dream catcher, moon and infinity sign on it….. She hand over Luna's diary; this is the diary of the moon. Luna's diary, as you can see her name means moon, a Roman Goddess; in here maybe all your questions will be answered. We will not help to find Luna, where she was right now or who she was, you must have half of bitter taste of your own medicine. The only help we can give to you is this diary… through this you will get to know the moon… maybe a part of her life only but still you will see her heart and soul… after you read this, come back here and tell me if she is a worthless, and useless person just as what Sofia told you….. Louie took the diary, he embrace it as like he is protecting it. Go home Louie, you need to rest and be ready to the Moon. Samantha told him

On Saturday morning, Josephine and Francis came to stand before the entrance of the East Wing when the Chimangat stepped in and held up the scroll he was carrying.
"This is a royal decree;
"In the lights of the investigation conducted by the Royal Intelligence Services in collaboration with the police to uncover the cause of the physical confrontation between Prince Angel and Prince Francis made known to the public by the illegal upload of a video recording of the above-cited altercation, it has been discovered that the crown prince has been the target of a conspirator whose aim was to cause him to lose his place on the throne.
"Further investigation requested by the High Council has come to prove that the royal consort, Princess Josephine, and her son, Prince Francis, are the instigators behind the following incidents and all the commotions that have derived therefrom:
"The illegal release of pictures of Crown Prince Angel in the company of Miss Natacha Irung on the last day of his official trip to Kinshasa;
"The breach of the secrecy agreement on the presence of Changadim Kat Sama at the royal palace;
"The secret procurement of an invitation to Prince Francis 26th Birthday Celebration for Miss Natacha Irung;
"The illegal record and release of the video showing Miss Natacha Irung's suicidal threat;
"And the illegal record and release of a video showing an altercation between Prince Angel and Prince Francis.
"All actions perpetrated in view to discredit the image of the crown prince before the entire kingdom.
"For having conspired against the crown prince and, thus, against the Throne and, by that, jeopardised the stability of the uRuund kingdom; by the kingly ruling, the royal consort, Princess Josephine, is condemned to permanent exile and is stripped off her royal status…"
Josephine felt as if her head had emptied up and her limbs had lost all vigour and took support on her son so as not to collapse.
The Chimangat continued without emotion. "As of the moment of the reading of this decree, Mrs Josephine Nsamb will neither hold the title of Royal Consort nor will she ever again be referred to as a member of the royal family.
"For having conspired against the crown prince, the Throne and the kingdom in complicity with Mrs Josephine Nsamb, Prince Francis, son of late Crown Prince John, is also condemned to permanent exile.
"However, Prince Francis will not be entirely stripped off his princely status. As a carrier of royal blood, Prince Francis will keep his princely title, but he will no longer beneficiate of all the privileges that ensue from a princely status within or outside the uRuund kingdom. Prince Francis will be entitled to the royal abode located in the United States of America he and his mother have previously occupied. 
"As at the moment of the reading of this decree, the ensuing take immediate effect:
"Prince Angel is reinstated to his position as the crown prince of Ruund, and Mrs Josephine Nsamb and Prince Francis are to be escorted out of the kingdom, and are to never set foot back on uRuund soil for the rest of their life.
"This royal ruling will be heralded publically and recorded in the Annals of Ruund Kingdom and of the royal family. 
"This decree has been dictated and sealed by Mwant Yav Angel II, King of Ruund, at this date and time, and has been approved by the High Council of Ruund."
Josephine was on the verge of unconsciousness and being fanned by her son when the Chimangat bowed and exited the East Wing while as royal officers walked in and started to pack up their belongings and royal guards came to stand next to them in wait to escort them to the airport.
Angel, who had come along with the Chimangat, had stayed standing by the entrance door while the royal decree was being proclaimed.
The idea he had submitted to his father had been approved by the High Council. Hence, to avoid having to disclose the true cause of the fight between the two princes, at the time the royal secretary would hold a press conference to publicise the royal ruling, he would state that the video was a hoax. 
Angel's idea was to make it look like the video was, in fact, the recording of a fake fight acted following the instructions of Lady Josephine in yet another attempt to sully the image of the crown prince. So, under the condition that the king should not be lenient towards Francis in his ruling, the members of the High Council had agreed to keep the truth covered – just that once – for the sake of preserving the image of the Throne.
Throughout the investigation, Angel had discovered that the hacker Josephine had used all along was also a specialist in special effects. So with his collaboration – and in exchange for a lighter penalty, it had been easy to mount up another video showing two actors being made up to look like the princes and prepped for the fight scene in an exact replica of the Forest Palace's living room as evidence to present to the public.
When Josephine and Francis' belongings had been packed, the royal guards proceeded to escort them out, but as they reached the entrance door, Angel signalled the guards to stop.
He looked at Francis. "You know… if you had come straight up to me and told me that you wanted the crown, I would have gladly stepped down in order to give it back to you because I always thought that you were better fit for the throne than I could ever be. But now that I've been able to see how low you are capable of stooping just so you can satisfy your selfish desires, I understand why God has put me on the throne instead of you."
Without waiting for a reply from his cousin, Angel signalled the royal guards to carry on with their task. As the guards led Josephine and Francis to the car parked in front of the Central Palace entrance, Peter approached the crown prince.
"Karl Tshisol has handed me this to give back to Your Highness." He explained as he handed Angel what appeared to be an A4 notepad. "It was found in Prince Francis' belongings during the investigation, but it appears to belong to the young maiden."
Angel opened the cover. On the first page was written very artistically 'My Visual Diary' and signed in Kat's name.
"Prince Francis refused to reveal how he came into possession of this item." The guard explained when Angel looked back at him with interrogative eyes. "However, after a thorough review of palace surveillance footage, we have discovered that Prince Francis had gone to the West Wing late on the night Your Highness had spent in the South Wing for of the maiden's birthday."
Angel slightly frowned. Francis had started to act strangely towards Kat the very following day. He looked back at the drawing pad. Could it have been because of the content of the diary? What information was Francis so eager to get that he even risked sneaking into the West Wing so as to acquire Kat's personal diary?
Those two questions led the crown prince to leaf through the pad, and, three drawings later, he finally understood why Francis had been so adamant in his assertion that Kat had fallen for him. Peter's keen observing eyes spotted a faint smile tracing on the crown prince's lips as he leafed further. 
The majority of the drawings was about him, and they were all titled according to the circumstances surrounding the captured moment. 
'First Encounter' was a drawing of Angel standing in front of the Sama property; 'I Was Moved…' showed Angel playing the piano; 'Symbiosis' was a drawing of Angel riding Tornado…
There was again a drawing of Angel in which the serene expression in his eyes was very much in the foreground titled 'His Favourite Place'. 
"The waterfall…"
Angel was really impressed by each drawing he was discovering. Kat did not have her drawing kit with her on all those occasions. How then had she managed to capture all of them on paper? 
"She must have a very good visual memory…" He concluded.
On the following drawing, Angel's eyebrows creased. The drawing was titled '…'; so, Angel had to rummage through his brain in order to finally make out the scene depicted. It was a drawing of him sleeping… But definitely not from the night he had rescued her. From the angle it was captured…
Angel's face suddenly lit up. "So she was not asleep on that morning…" He thought with a smile.
A few drawings after, Angel stumbled on a page where Kat had drawn his face as if leaning and written 'Stolen Kiss… (I'm doomed!)'. 
~ If I were to fall for you, then I'd be doomed. ~ 
The reply Kat had given him at the Forest palace when he had asked her what would happen if she fell in love with him immediately came back to his mind… Was the inscription in brackets in reference to that statement?
In the drawing, she had even succeeded at faithfully depicting the intent in his eyes when he had leant to capture her lips into a forceful kiss. Angel was somewhat taken aback. The anger and indignation he had read in Kat's eyes after she had pushed him away would have never led him to think that it was at that moment that she had come to the realisation of her feelings for him.
As he pondered over the matter, Angel was suddenly brought back to the answer he had received to his second question in the chapel. When he wanted to know whether he should seek for a way to hold onto the maiden or just let her go… When he thought the maiden had developed feelings for his cousin…
As he had repeatedly muttered that double question, another had raised in his spirit in response: "Are you 100% sure that she loves Francis?"
The fact that he could not answer that question with absolute certitude had turned out to be the answer he needed. Knowing with certitude whether Kat was in love with Francis or not was determinant in his decision either to hold onto the woman he had fallen in love with or to let her go to his cousin.
Looking at the drawing pad in his hands, Angel realised that he was receiving an answer to that third question…

Later that day, Angel was knocking at Kat's bedroom door. She opened the door and hesitantly made way for him to come in. Her hesitation was coming from the fact that, right after the hearing in the Throne Room, Angel had immediately dived into the RIS investigation so much so that they had gotten very little opportunities to even interact over a meal; making that the first time they would have an actual conversation since she had gone to see him in his bedroom on Sunday afternoon.
Angel walked straight up to the balcony and Kat followed suit; he took place on one of the chairs set there and Kat sat opposite him.
"Are they gone?" Kat asked.
The king had called for everyone in the private office to inform them of his ruling right before the Chimangat was sent to the East Wing.
Angel nodded. "Their flight has just taken off."
"So what exactly awaits them if they ever dare to come back to Ruund?"
"Imprisonment. But that's rather unlikely because they will always be under the same kind of surveillance I was when I was studying in London."
Kat raised her eyebrows. "You knew you were under surveillance?"
Angel faintly smiled. "I am the crown prince of Ruund…" He started. "Seeing how the Forest Palace is guarded while it's within the Royal Estate, how could they let me leave the kingdom without protection?
"University studies in a foreign country are, in a way, an opportunity for uRuund young royals to have a once in a lifetime 'out-of-the-palace' experience, but they cannot be left completely without protection. Though I never saw them, I knew that royal guards were always out there watching."
Kat nodded pensively. If Angel knew that there were guards watching over him, then he must have known that they were reporting all his movements to the king. Could he have purposely had an engagement ring made in a way of telling his father that he was serious about Natacha Irung?
The king had also announced that he would be granting Adolph Irung and his daughter the Royal Exoneration since they had made amend through their public announcement and by giving their full cooperation during the investigation. Was it a step towards accepting his son's feelings?
While Kat was still caught up in her cogitation, Angel placed something on the table and pushed it towards her. 
Flustered by the crown prince's visit, the young woman had not even paid attention to the object he had been holding in his hand all along; so his move surprised her. Kat took a look at the item then looked back at Angel in astonishment once she recognised it. How did he come into possession of her visual diary?
"It was found in Prince Francis' bedroom," Angel explained to answer the question in her eyes. "It appears that he snuck into your bedroom on the night we spent in the South Wing for your birthday."
"He had noticed it one day when I did a sketch of him. I guess the fact that I refused to let him browse through it must have piqued his curiosity…" Kat said almost to herself.
"Didn't you notice that it was gone?" Angel inquired.
"With everything that has happened since my birthday, I didn't even think about my visual diary. I never draw on a restless mind."
Kat scanned Angel's face. Did he look at the content? 
"Possibly…" she thought.
"I now understand why he was so adamant in his conviction that I have fallen for you…" Kat added, still scanning the crown prince's face.
Angel kept silently looking at her, not even a bit surprised by her statement.
"Definitely!" She concluded.
"So… tomorrow is D-Day." Angel finally let out.
"Yes… These three months have passed so fast…"
Kat then chuckled.
"What is it?" Angel inquired.
"It just that, at the time I moved into the palace, I imagined numerous outcomes to the Courtship Program… But none of them was even remotely resembling this one."
More than talking about what had happened with Prince Francis, Kat was referring to her falling in love with Angel. Thinking back at their first encounter, then their clash on her first night at the palace, she had always thought her options were either falling for Francis or going back home.
Normally, the appearance of Natacha Irung should have reinforced that conviction. But instead, it had ended up helping bring forth the feelings that she did not realise she already had for the crown prince at the time.
"I was really hoping that I would leave the palace without being found out." She added pensively before she left her chair and went to lean on the bannister.
As she looked at the beautiful landscape spreading before her eyes, she felt a heaviness gradually pressing on her heart. When Angel also left his seat and came to stand next to her, Kat looked at him. "Don't worry. I'm not about to go back on our agreement," she said when she noticed that he was looking at her with questioning eyes. "I hope Mwant Yav will be more inclined to accept the woman you love once I'll be out of the picture." She added as she looked back at the landscape.
Angel slightly frowned. Was he somehow projecting that he was still in love with Natacha?
"Changadim Kat…"
"Gosh! I'm going to miss this view…"
At the slightly chocked tone, Angel tried to look closer at the young woman's profile. But Kat quickly looked away. 
"Excuse me for a minute." She let out as she motioned to go back in the bedroom.
No matter how hard she tried, Kat was utterly failing at holding back her tears; and since she did not want to let Angel see her like that, she wanted to take refuge in her bathroom until she would be able to regain her countenance. But the crown prince was quicker to grab her by the wrist and pulled her into a back-hug. 
At the shock, Kat froze.
"Please, Kat… don't go…" Angel let out next to her ear.
"…"
Kat's lips had parted, but no sound was coming out because her mind was still racing in an attempt to understand the meaning of Angel's plea. At first, Kat wondered if she had heard right. And when her brain finally reported that the information registered was not erroneous, she started to wonder whether Angel was referring to her not leaving the balcony… or the palace…
Her heart was already set on the latter, but her mind was too afraid to even dare to hope it could be the case.
Angel slowly loosened his hold and turned her around to face him. With an awkward but endeared smile, he cupped Kat's face in his hands and wiped the tears that had finally rolled down her cheeks with his thumbs.
Kat slowly lifted her eyes to meet Angel's gaze and, this time, she read something in them… something that made her heart leap in her chest.
"Crown Prince Angel…"
Angel chuckled bashfully as he released her face and reached down to take her hands. For the first time, Kat was feeling that the crown prince had finally brought down the shield that always kept her from seeing through him.
"From the moment I became heir to the throne of Ruund, I have been trained to never show my emotions…" Angel started. "It is a prized quality for a king to be able to always present a strong front no matter the situation so the people can rely on his ability to make decisions that are not biased by his feelings. This is why the crown prince, more than any other young royal, is required to excel at that. But it can have the counter-effect of making it difficult for us to express our feelings in private…"
Kat was still not able to utter a single word. The scene playing before her was like a dream bubble slowly shaping itself into reality as Angel spoke; a bubble that she was afraid to burst if she dared to make a sound.
So it was in a bit of a daze that Kat read on Angel's lips more than she actually heard him say: "I love you, Changadim Kat."
Then Angel, still holding her hands, slowly went down on one bent knee. "It might be very difficult for me to tell you this as much as I should, but I will always find a way to show that to you…
"Changadim Kat Sama, will you be my princess?"

“Wait a minute… it’s a joke, right? It has to be a joke!”

Even after gulping down two full glasses of water straight, Kat was still feeling a bit dizzy. Her mind was racing while trying to fully process the information her brain had just registered…

This novel work is not a fan-fiction but a remake of the drama series 'Princess Hours'.
It might not be my first novel work but it my biggest one so far.
There will be no locked chapters. I hope you will enjoy this story just as much as or even more than I did while writing it.

Even though the Divine Storm around Star Cluster X showed no signs of abating, the droids' movements were not affected by it.
Being on an emergency call, batches of droids entered the ancient and mysterious star system from the series of "faults" in that dimension. They moved toward the Executor homeworld, where Hao Ren was situated. The droids had begun to build all kinds of star forts as well as manufacturing plants across the vast space, and most of them were starting to take shape.
Barren asteroids were anchored together and turned into a base, while starports and connection tubes were built between the asteroids. A massive spaceborne infrastructure was slowly taking shape within the dark void. The droids worked day and night, building factories, hives, antenna arrays... The structures were expanding at breakneck speed across the stars like an insect swarm. The first batch of droids had already left the production line a long time ago at that point, and they were pressed into the next phase of expansion.
With the terrifying highly efficient expansion now fully operational, the works on the Executors' homeworld now had the required "manpower", moving rapidly into the next construction phase.
Around the rift by the side of the forward base, the droid swarm had already completed the first phase of terraformation. The scorched earth and ruins were given a further cleanup. The craters and tiny cracks were all covered by argent alloy while the rift itself was reinforced using layers of alloy. At the edge of the almost metallic canyon were a few massive towers sticking out of the surface, and around the towers were massive stabilizing cables. These cables were about two meters thick, and one end was laid out in order next to the data center at the empty field by the rift, awaiting connection. In contrast, the other end snaked deep inside the rift along the walls, as though connecting directly to the planet's core.
A huge number of droids had shifted into atmospheric operation mode and were milling about busily around the cables as well as their surroundings. They were checking the cables and their connection with the First Born's ancient nervous system while also sending the signal code to the data center whereby preliminary connection could be attained by the afternoon.
The data center was not too far away, by the rift. There were three hexagonal buildings, each about a hundred meters tall in a triangular layout. These buildings had a beautiful argent shell and looked really futuristic. On the base of the buildings, a few cables had already been connected and welded shut.
That was only the engineering on the surface. There were even more awesome works going on underground.
The reason was that only a data processing center was built on the surface, while deep under, a total overhaul of the First Born's nervous system was required. The cables on the surface extended deep down into the heart of the planet, passing through the crust and the mantle before reaching the nerve points deep within the planet. To ensure that the entire thing was stable, Hao Ren decided to simply rid the First Born of any nerve clusters that had been poisoned by the crystals, and replace them with man-made structures. Now, thousands of droids were busy inside the caverns and faults in the crust as well as the mantle, connecting the artificial nerves with the First Born's biological clusters together. At the same time, they also built secondary data processing units at special connecting ports to help with the system's stability.
The size of each piece of equipment was no less than the size of an underground metropolis.
Just like Hao Ren had said, the First Born there was in a sorrier state than the one on Purgatory. It was a critical patient with most of its nervous system rotting away, and fixing it required drilling through an entire planet.
Rollie swiftly clambered up one of the tower complexes, and only after she found a flat spot did she heave a sigh of relief. She then took Lil Pea out of her bag and carefully placed the little one on her head. "See, we can see the entire canyon here! Doesn't it look like fish jerky?"
"I don't know, but Daddy said not to simply run around!" Lil Pea said as she tapped the catgirl's head with her tail.
"I'm not simply running around, nya!" Rollie said with her arms on her waist. "Big Boss Cat said not to run pass that fence (energy barrier). He never said anything about not coming here. If you rat me out, I won't bring you out to play again."
Lil Pea tapped her tail again and did not say anything else. Rollie then pulled a piece of paper and a few crayons out of her bag. She spread the paper on the ground before she grabbed a handful of crayons and started to draw clumsily.
"What are you doing?" Lil Pea poked her head out and asked curiously.
As she drew clumsily, Rollie explained, "This is my diary! Big Dumb Cat says that writing a diary is a good habit. It can make me smart, and I can go to university. There's fish in the university's canteen, but I think writing's so troublesome; drawing is easier."
She seemed to be in a good mood as she drew. Her tail curled into all sorts of shapes. Hao Ren had expended lots of energy trying to teach the cat to read and write, but it seemed that it was to little effect. The cat seemed to be happier drawing than writing.
However, Rollie's good mood did not last long because she soon realized her spanking new papers were missing an edge at the lower-left corner. On them was a line of tooth marks.
"Nyaa!!! You ate my diary!" the catgirl said as she leaped up, her tail bristling. She grabbed Lil Pea by the head and placed her before her "diary". "Your tooth marks are still there!"
"I thought... this was a snack you prepared for me..." Lil Pea stuck her tongue out. "And you put me together with them... I couldn't help myself..."
The catgirl totally could not accept Lil Pea's excuse. It had never occurred to her that placing Lil Pea and paper together would produce such an outcome. She only shook her head stubbornly. "No can't do. You need to replace my diary!"
"It's just paper, you haven't even finished your first drawing!"
"They're all part of my diary!"
"How do I replace them? I can't spit them out."
"...Then let me bite you once?"
"No!"
"A lick will do as well, nya!"
"No. Gross!"
…
Lily's ears twitched a little as she looked up into the distance. "I thought I heard Rollie and Lil Pea's voices..."
Hao Ren turned to face the direction that the werehusky was looking at and only saw the edge of the base along with the tower structure facing the construction site of the "long-range cognition array". Shaking his head, he said, "I didn't hear them."
He then turned back and looked at N-6 and N-4 before him.
Behind the two Executors were rows and rows of personnel, whom N-4 had brought with her, in addition to a few other unfamiliar faces.
The unfamiliar faces had been ferried over by the Petrachelys to the base. They were originally stationed on the moon base, but just before the mainframe departed, it had left behind directives for these select few Executors to be the new "administration team" of the new Executor civilization.
Hao Ren heard that they were planning to emulate the humans and set up a Tribunal to lead their kind.
Hao Ren looked at the new arrivals and saw them as a group of confused and dazed "youngsters". Although every Executor looked like an adult and possessed the required mentality as well as knowledge when they walked off the assembly line, in actuality, none of them were more than fifteen years old. Even N-4 with her eleven-year service was already considered an experienced and well-read veteran. The newly-redeployed officers from the moon base averaged at the same age too.
The Executors' knowledge could be downloaded from the Bibliotheca, and they each had a complex logic circuit and a simulated nerve network. All that led to them requiring some life experiences to create their own personality. Just like N-4 and N-6, who had been equipped with the same basic databank, due to their time in service, had developed into two distinct entities. That was the manifestation of their learning and self-upgrading.
Yet, the long war resulted in only a handful of Executors being able to live for a long enough period, so when the Cortex Prime died, it left behind an overly "young" race. Even the eleven-year-old N-4 ended up becoming one of the administrators.
Today, N-4's comrades had come to bring her back to the moon base to take over that position.
Also leaving was N-6. While she lacked the experience to become an administrator, she was the first Executor to run the "Final Code" and gain her freedom. She had also received upgrades using alien technology, therefore she had better hardware and growth space. As a result, she was also absorbed as a member of the Tribunal.
Hao Ren looked N-4 in the eye. "So how's it going? Do you have the confidence you need for your new job?"
"It is my duty," N-4 answered the same way she would normally. "I will do my best."
"And frankly, the problems we face are plenty," an Executor from the moon base spoke. He was a short-haired male with a seemingly cheerful and chatty nature. He started a conversation with Hao Ren. "The Cortex Prime has left us, and we now need to decide on what we need to do next. While our logic circuits already have the needed programming, no one knows if we will be able to do it properly."
"You will face a massive paradigm shift," said Y'zaks, who had experience running an empire before. "The war will end, and your focus will need to shift to other necessities. There'll be a change in production, reallocation of materials, and production capacity. You'll even need to change your societal structure to be a part of a one-of-a-kind civilization. And not too long later, you may even need to return here to rebuild your homeworld. These are all things you have yet to do before."
Vivian nodded gently. "Your creators have left an entire civilization to you, and its needs aren't just as simple as warfare."
"Rebuilding our homeworld..." The young Executor looked into the distance, and the first thing he saw was the incredible alien base. However, his eyes did not stop at the majestic buildings. They trained even farther, finally landing on the lush mountains and thick jungles.
The Executors were silicon-based beings, yet their creators had been born in a carbon-based world that was full of life, so they need to protect the planet. Perhaps, this life would even spread to other planets they may visit in the future. For these Executors who had lived their lives on a cold and barren moon, to live and expand on such a planet was a brand new subject.
Despite that, the subject got them excited.
Hao Ren added, "We've also almost completed the transformation of the First Born or the Devourer. Its cognitive organs have been totally destroyed and replaced, and a gentle consciousness will be taking over the dead body. Once that's done, you can return properly to your homeworld without fearing any more attacks."
A few harmless landings on the planet's surface would not trigger the tentacles' attack, but the movement of the entire Executor race from the moon back to the planet would definitely trigger the "alarm" in the tentacles. Therefore, until Hao Ren had completed his job planetside, the androids would have to stay on the moon base for a good while.
Of course, they did not need to wait too long. Since they did not need to build a cognition core, the droid swarm could complete the artificial neural network transference project within the next few days. The massive wireless receiver could also be completed simultaneously. Once Zorm's consciousness was extended over there, the exiles on the moon base could finally return home.
"All Executors now know about every one of you," the young Executor spoke. "We hope to show our thanks and appreciation, even if all our thanks would not suffice for what you have done for us."
"That's fine. This is part of my job anyway." Hao Ren waved him off. "But if you really want to thank me... then live well. That is the biggest thanks you can give to us, and also your creators.

Noah walked slowly toward the other side of the valley.
He would stop frequently to train in the writing showed in Uriah's diary and to review the details of the spell.
'Since the body of the companion is made with its blood mixed with my "Breath" its rank is fixed. Well, theoretically it is possible to upgrade it but you would need a different technique and the risks of the companion dying will be high. It is simply safer to switch to a stronger one once you have the necessary strength to tame it.'
He was drawing on the ground the shape of a snake with his saber while holding the book in his other hand.
'I wonder if I'm being too greedy going for a rank 3 right away. If I kill it I should have some advantages in taming it, yet can I sustain it? Well, having a rank 2 companion at my level is useless anyway.'
His prey was a peak rank 3 Horned snake while he was only a rank 1 mage, it was natural for him to have some doubts.
'It doesn't say anything about making more than one companion either, I guess it depends on the pressure I can withstand with my sea of consciousness.'
There was another reason he was moving slowly and it was the "Breath"'s density.
The density was so high that the effects on his body resembled those of the "Breath" blessing he found during the events with the Ironclad spiders.
Noah was having the faint sensation of getting close to a sort of limit.
'If I stay here for a couple of months I should reach the end of the sixth cycle, and that based on the density in this area. If I go further in the valley it will take even less.'
He was purposely slowing his trip back to the mansion to make use of the quality of this place.
'There is also that King's problem, but I'm really powerless about anything related to it.'
The drawing was done and Noah nodded looking at it, he was satisfied with the result.
'Now, where can that snake be?'

The rank 3 Horned snake was lying on the river to let the water filled with "Breath" enter its body.
There were many wounds on its body, probably due to its battle with the pack of Earth snakes, and no rank 2 snakes of its pack were present.
The snake was sleeping but it was right in the open, there was no way to take it by surprise.
Noah was hiding behind a rock looking at it, the saber in his hand was drawing the snake's figure on the terrain.
'Mh it looks injured, this is good, but there is no way to take it by surprise.'
The drawing was over, the snake's figure this time had three little horns on his head.
'Time to get the main ingredient.'
Noah smiled unconsciously, the prospect of having his first spell was making him elated.
He charged with his two sabers unsheathed and crossed in front of him.
The snake woke up sensing something coming in its direction and was enraged to see again the little human that caused the incident with the Earth snakes.
It immediately spewed a poisonous ball in his direction and then punched with its head where he was dodging to.
Noah jumped and rotated horizontally, continuously sending wind slashes on the body of the snake.
The slashes cut through its skin but only light wounds appeared.
'It is indeed powerful.'
Noah admitted and then assaulted it again.
Clashes kept on happening and the Horned snake fought fiercely, but new wounds appeared on its body on every clash and, added to the old ones, they were starting to affect the massive beast.
The Horned snake tried a desperate attack launching a poisonous projectile at melee range but Noah used this chance to jump over its head and pierce it with both his sabers.
The sabers stabbed deeply into the snake's skull as it started to thrash its body around the valley to remove the human from above its head.
However, Noah held strongly on the sabers and pushed them deeper into the beast's brain.
After a minute of struggles, the snake finally fell dead on the ground.
Noah jumped off its body and could not help but feel surprised.
'What an incredible vitality! Even with my blades in its brain it still resisted for so much.'
He could not put its body in the space-ring as it was too big so he hastily made a deep cut along its body.
He took out a cask from his ring and threw the water inside it away, then he put the cask below the cut to accumulate the dripping blood.
Then, he entered the cut and explored the insides of the snake's body until he found its heart.
After he came out of its body, he took off his upper clothes and washed in the river, he didn't want any form of contamination to happen during the creation of the blood companion.
Noah waited patiently for the cask to be filled and then he put everything back in his space-ring and went to hide in a cave nearby.
There were some rank 2 snakes inside but they were immediately cleared and he had to go back to the river to wash again.
When he was clean and in a safe place, he took out the cask and placed his hands on it.
"Breath" flowed from his body into the snake's blood inside the cask while his acupoints where absorbing madly the one around him.
It took him an entire day to make the blood reach the standards described in the diary and when the process was over, the blood had become a dark dense liquid.
Noah waited some more time for his body to be filled again with "Breath" and after making sure that everything was set he unsheathed a saber and dipped its tip in the liquid.
His eyes were shining in excitement as he looked at the black blade dripping the dark blood.
'Time to begin!'

"So, that's how my life ends, what a waste of time it was...".

Voldemort blasted the two of them with a barrage of curses as each boy tried to shield the other. Finally, Ron grunted in pain when a curse hit its mark. Harry shoved him toward another boulder.

"You already knew about the diary," Harry said, panting as Ron slumped, unconscious, behind the rock. "That was the first one." He fired a powerful Stunner that Voldemort blocked, but for the first time, his shield flickered.

Voldemort's eyes widened, and he paused before taking a step back.

What had Hermione said? Concentrate on the love he felt for them? Professor Dumbledore said it was his unknown power, and it did appear to strengthen his Curses.

"The diary, yes. My sources tell me that you destroyed it in order to save your little girlfriend. I believe she's over there," Voldemort said, blasting away the rock hiding Ginny.

Ginny shrieked and scrambled out of the way. Voldemort followed her with his wand, repeatedly firing spell after spell. Ginny kept dodging and firing back uselessly, and Harry could see she was growing weary. His own spells did nothing to deflect Voldemort's wrath. He appeared to grow stronger, as if feeding off Ginny's fear and Harry's desperation.

"Not her," Harry growled, a great rage blooming within his heart. He fired a Cutting Curse that tore into Voldemort's side, drawing first blood. The voices behind the Veil grew louder, and the room brightened slightly.

Voldemort stopped, his eyes widening in shock as he stared at the blood seeping through his robes. Drawing his lips back and baring his teeth, he quickly fired a rapid series of spells toward Harry – like a wire short-circuiting on the ground.

Harry hissed in pain as a Curse sliced into his arm, reopening the wound Hermione had treated for him. Blood gushed from the deep cut and flowed down his arm, slackening his hand. Glancing down briefly, he was certain he could see a white hint of bone showing.

"I also know exactly how you're managing to shield your pathetic mind from me," Voldemort snarled, aiming his wand and destroying the boulder shielding Draco. The boy froze, his eyes round before he leaped to his feet and tried to run. "Extispex."

Draco collapsed, shrieking in horror as blood rapidly spread across his abdomen and his insides began being expelled through a gaping wound. Draco's horrible screams filled the cavernous room until Hermione, apparently unable to take it any more, cast a spell of her own.

"Petrificus Totalis," she shouted.

Draco's body stopped writhing and remained motionless on the floor, his entrails piled in front of him. Harry felt the last link between his mind and Draco's snap.

Voldemort turned his attention to Hermione. "Crucio," he shouted, and Hermione dropped to the ground, screaming in agony.

Gritting his teeth, Harry fired a Reductor Curse that blasted Voldemort off his feet, ending his attack on Hermione. Harry continued his rapid volley with Voldemort and the room was alight with spells hitting the walls. From the corner of his eye, he saw Ginny pull Hermione behind a large boulder.

"That's for my parents," Harry snarled, hitting Voldemort with a Cutting Curse, "and that one's for Sirius."

Each time he aimed a spell, Harry put the name of a victim to it. The room in which they were standing brightened each time, and with a shock, Harry realized the light was coming from the Veil. The voices were loud and overlapping, and he didn't understand how the others couldn't hear them.

Voldemort appeared slightly alarmed by the light and sound, and distressed by Harry's success in hitting his mark. Harry thought it must have been a long time since Tom Riddle had endured the pain of being Cursed. Harry lost his train of thought as a painful Stinging Hex struck his thigh.

During the day, the snow slowly melted at an invisible speed; at night, the melted snow condensed into ice. Such a cycle would last throughout the winter.
In northern China, there was a custom called "cat winter", and Zhang Zian felt like he was spending the winter just like a cat, while today, the real cat, Fina, was sleeping particularly longer than usual, for she instructed the four Abyssinian cats to dance ballet until midnight and she had exhausted herself. 
Even the Abyssinian cats, known for their agile movements and graceful gaits, had a hard time learning the choreography arranged by Zhang Zian and Fina, which was more difficult than the previous figure eight.
During the teaching period, Zhang Zian and Fina had several disputes about the choreography. Of course, the disagreements eventually ended with the victory of Fina. The four Abyssinian cats were also miserable. They had just gone through a long, bumpy journey and they now had to learn the difficult dancing steps. They were all tired and were sleeping with the other three Abyssinian cats on the second floor today.
Zhang Zian was lying in the recliner, holding up and carefully studying the studbook left by Cathy. Richard was standing on his shoulder. If he encountered words he did not understand, Zhang Zian would ask Richard to explain to him. Despite being ridiculed by Richard, Zhang Zian had to resort to it, for it was way more useful than the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, and it always explained the meanings of words in the form of dirty jokes…
The studbook left by Cathy was more like a breeding manual. Not only were there detailed descriptions of previous breeding situations, but Cathy had also recorded the posture and fur color of each kitten when they were born, as well as Cathy’s outlook for the future. Cathy had written down every thought on Abyssinian cats in this diary. 
Since Cathy had started the diary over a decade ago, the front parts of the manual had become somewhat yellowed, and the writing was clear and beautiful. But when Zhang Zian flipped to the latter parts, the writing was a bit scrawled, with confused and contradictory thoughts, as if Cathy had the premonition that her days were numbered, so she was eager to convert all her ideas into words. 
Despite this, there was no doubt about the value of this handbook, presumably the most precious source for breeding chocolate-colored Abyssinian cats. Zhang Zian cherished the manual very much, so he made a copy out of the original, kept the original version safe, and started to write down his doubts on the duplicate. 
Knowledge was always insufficient when in need. Cathy must have some knowledge of genetics, of which Zhang Zian was ignorant. He had already forgotten all the biology he learned in middle school. When he encountered some expressions that he was not sure about, he had no choice but to text Sun Xiaomeng, the only expert he knew. Although Professor Wei Kang was also erudite, his emphasis was on theoretical aspects.
The more Zhang Zian asked, the more doubts Sun Xiaomeng had, because a pet shop owner didn’t need this sort of knowledge, and for some questions, she even needed to look up information before she could provide exact answers.
In this regard, Zhang Zian just explained that he intended to systematically learn about cat breeding, since he was not very busy these days. No wonder Sun Xiaomeng suspected him, for she had never thought of him as a "studious" person.
Zhang Zian once considered putting these cats into Sun Yinian’s Pets’ Home Breeding Base, but then he decided to give up on this idea. Sun Yinian had no enterprising spirits.  He would protect the cats well, but he would not be dedicated to breeding more Abyssinian cats. And in that case, Cathy's efforts would be wasted, and sooner or later, other breeders would catch up in this area. In addition, though Sun Yinian was a man of integrity, his employees might not be. Under the temptation of money, they might even steal and sell the Abyssinian cats.
So, even if Zhang Zian did not understand this breeding manual, he could only bite the bullet and read the book many times, hoping that he could figure out all the implications someday.
He had always thought that male cats that had been chosen for breeding purposes should be those that won in the cat show, but as it turned out, breeder cats were not equal to show cats. Only after reading this manual did he understand that many purebred male cats did not participate in competitions, and that he only needed to take into account of the male cats’ health statuses and bloodlines when it came to selecting breed cats. In fact, the kittens of show cats were often not as good as those of breed cats. 
"Mr. Store Manager, I have already finished painting. Do you want to have a look?"
While he was reading the manual, Lu Yiyun sent him a message.
There was a soundproof automatic sensor door between the cashier desk Zhang Zian, and she did not want to talk aloud, so she often sent messages to Zhang Zian.
Zhang Zian put down the breeding manual and stretched. He felt tired after reading for such a long time. He went to the cashier desk, and Lu Yiyun turned the computer screen towards him, uneasily waiting for his evaluation.
On the screen, there were seven vividly-painted Abyssinian cats in diverse postures. Although they were all chocolate in color, she had accurately grasped the characteristics of each one.
"Fantastic!" exclaimed Zhang Zian.
Abyssinian cats were very cute, and Lu Yiyun was also best at painting cute girls in manga. It was not because she loved drawing them, but that drawing cute girls were the most common requests she received in her illustration work. She seemed to have applied the techniques of drawing manga in portraying the seven cats, by slightly exaggerating their eyes, adjusting their head and body proportions, and adding anthropomorphic and cute movements to the cats, making them look cuter as long as their images were not distorted. 
Zhang Zian increasingly felt that he was lucky to have hired Lu Yiyun. For this painting alone, if he had asked a professional artist to draw it, it might have cost him over 1,000 Yuan. 
In addition, he noticed that she had also added an exquisite watermark signature, indicating the name of the Amazing Fate Pet Shop and her pseudonym, Xinyun, to the bottom of the painting to prevent theft from unscrupulous people.
Lu Yiyun was relieved upon seeing that her boss was satisfied with her work. Fortunately, she had painted her cat Jasmine before, so she had experience in drawing cats, otherwise it was unlikely for her to finish drawing so soon.
"Mr. Store Manager, should I put this painting on our shop’s WeChat public account? What should we call it?" she whispered.
Zhang Zian had always suffered from headaches when he needed to name something. It took him a long time before he came up with a name for Galaxy. 
"What do you think?" he shirked the responsibility to Lu Yiyun.
Lu Yiyun thought for a moment and proposed, "How about... ‘Abyssinian cats—the mysterious ancient elves’?"
"Yes," he decided, "That's it."
Lu Yiyun nodded and began editing the article for the public account, introducing the characteristics of Abyssinian cats, emphasizing that they were the latest members in the CFA family, and finally promoting that this shop had introduced this rare cat breed, and customers were welcome to buy them.
"Do not write 'buy,'" Zhang Zian pointed out. "These cats are not for sale for the time being. Change the word to 'visit'."
Lu Yiyun modified as he instructed, and let him review the whole thing. Determining that there was no omission or wording issue, she then published the first article in the pet shop’s WeChat public account.  
Zhang Zian's mind had been drifting away. Looking at the shops across the road, he was thinking about the issue of a delivery room for breeding the cats.
