Translator Review:
This is a novel encompassed with mystery, ethics, family ties, and romance. Of course, the highlights of this book are the murder cases. 
Although it’s a modern setup where none of the characters have a system or any other cheats, the Author managed to delight me with her writing, creative plots and a good pace without dragging her story. 
I marvel at the way the Author links up the clues and plot to explain the individual cases as well as paving the way to unravel the huge conspiracy behind the individual murders. Romantic plots are light-hearted so readers could take a breather from the plots of gruesome murders.

Yixin was Meng Fan's editor-in-chief. Even the unsigned "Guide to Campus RoMANce" was managed by his team. No need to mention how good Meng Fan's drawing skills and painting style were; it went without saying. Of course, it's weird how visible the difference was in his level in the previous serialized comics and in what they were looking at now. However, the better the paintings, the better. No matter how strange it was, you can't question it face to face.
What's the use of questioning anyways, other than not allowing people to improve? It's only that this progress was really great, that's all.
The deputy editor-in-chief and the others had also seen Meng Fan's comics and knew about Meng Fan's drawing skills, so after unfolding the sketches, even though they could see the beauty of the world, they weren't as amazed as Goro Takahashi and others.
But after looking at the paintings, they moved on to storyline and character design, and their eyes lit up again.

Charlie rubbed his hands. In the courtyard, Zhang Zhouwei and some other people were laughing and greeting each other then quickly moved toward The Chocolate Factory. The day was getting more and more cold indeed.


To reward Meng Fan for his bravery before his heroic death, the cosmos rewarded him with a 'system', sending him back in time to three months ago, alive.

Jeff, owner of the italian restaurant, discovered that for several days, Eric had changed. He was no longer distracted or in a daze, he became wholly spirited. When he entertained the guests he was no longer as awkward as before and he would also occasionally casually joke with them, Jeff even once saw him skillfully tease a thirty-year-old lady on her hippie accent, and get three times the average tip as a reward.
 
"Eric, did something happen recently, you seem very… different ?" During a break once, Jeff could finally not resist and asked. Regarding his old friend's child, he cared very much.

"Become… a director ?"  Jeff was somewhat surprised, he subconsciously opened his mouth, wanting to remind him to not aim too high at the beginning, but then he remembered that this child was still mourning his father and swallowed his words.
 
Despite his looks, Eric had maintained his middle-aged mind, so witnessing Jeff's reaction, he just smiled indifferently. After all, this was Hollywood, every year thousands of people came here from all over the world to pursue their dreams in the movie industry, but the successfull were few, so Jeff's reaction was to be expected.
 
"That… When you have finished writing your script,  you can show me. You have to know that in the past I also once wanted to be an actor, well my appearance was not what it is today,"  Jeff patted his large belly and continued: "In the past I was very handsome. I even played a small role in The Godfather, you know. Time flies."
 
Eric was somewhat stunned, he would have never thought that Jeff had such a past, but he quickly composed himself. Although  Eric had already revised this 1988 script as much as possible, he couldn't guarantee that there would be no flaws. As an outsider, Jeff could better help him find loopholes.

After a day of work, Eric quickly went home, had his supper in a hurry, and proceeded to busy himself with the Jurassic Park novel and script.

For the script however,  he had only written the outline as there were still several points that needed to be worked on. Eric had it all planned out in his mind so he only needed two days to sort things out.
 
He left home the next morning at around 7:00 am, to make several Jurassic Park copies and mail them. He had noted down the addresses of some famous North American publishing houses ahead of time, even if these large-scale publishing houses rejected Eric's draft, he would not be disappointed. It must be known that North America had tens of thousands of large and small publishing houses alike, somebody would eventually take a liking to his novel. Although Jurassic Park once rushed to the New York Times bestseller list, it wasn't technically Eric's goal, what he wanted was to own the copyrights for the movie as well as the TV rights once the novel was published.
 
"Hello, what can I do for you ?" Just as he stepped into the printing shop, a somewhat thin black female clerk warmly welcomed him.
 
Eric pulled out the manuscript from his bag: "I would like to make a few copies of this."
 
As the black girl looked at the thick stack of paper, her eyes lit up slightly and the smile on her face grew brighter: "Sir, can I take a look ?"
 
"No problem." Eric handed over the manuscript.
 
The black girl did not pay attention to the content, but counted the number of pages: "There's more than 300 pages, but I'll count it as 300. A full copy of the manuscript would be 30 US dollars, how many copies would you like sir ?"

About ten minutes later, the printing shop entrance darkened a little. Eric looked up and saw a brown-haired white man carrying a bag stepping into the shop.
 
The man was about 40 years old and one meter seventy in height. In spite of this, he appeared very sturdy, sported a brown stubble, had an aquiline nose and wore gold-rimmed eyeglasses. His forehead was slightly bald and his entire person was exuding a gentle feeling.
 
"Welcome sir, can you wait a minute ?"
 
The brown haired man gently nodded and politely greeted Eric as he sat down next to him. The black girl temporarily stopped the work at hand and quickly poured a cup of coffe to the newly arrived guest: "Sir, I will be done with the other customer in about ten minutes, please accept this coffee in the meantime."
 
The man thanked her as he received the cup. His eyes followed the black girl as she manipulated what seemed to be manuscript and his eyes moved slightly. There were only three people in the shop and he couldn't help but look at Eric.
 
"If I might be so bold as to ask, is that manuscript yours ?"
 
Eric nodded: "Yes, it's a novel I just finished. I'm making several copies."
 
"You look like a high-school student, it's really impressive for someone your age."
 
"Thank you, this is actually my first novel, so I don't have that much confidence."
 
"No, one must believe in one's self. … Would you mind me reading it ?" Saying that the brown-haired man pulled out a business card and gave it to Eric: "I have a small publishing house, you see."
 
Eric received the name card and took a look:

After quickly and carefully reading the manuscript in hand, Michael earnestly reorganized the somewhat scattered and in disordered pages as he looked at Eric. His eyes were full of surprise, excitement, and determination.

After their lectures, Fern and Emily walk through the huge library and sit in their favourite study room. 

Sitting down at the big table in the middle, Fern asks, "You actually remembered to reserve the room, right?" 

Grimacing, Emily says, "Of course I did. I will forever have the embarrassment of being kicked out etched in my memory. How was I supposed to know that we had to make a reservation?"

Fern chuckles and says, "Honestly, I have no idea. At least we know now." 

Once the two are settled in, they immediately dive into their work. 

Fern has her papers, highlighters, and laptop spread across half of the table. On the giant whiteboard wall, Fern has scribbled out an outline for her proposal. Switching between writing on the wall and typing on her laptop, Fern is in a world of her own.

In comparison, Emily is sitting on the other side of the table with only her laptop. As she searches for papers on her topic, she regularly gets distracted by random thoughts that pop up in her head. Soon, Emily is spending more time looking at cute pictures of animals than getting any actual work done. 

Looking down at her word count and realizing that she hasn't written anything in 30 minutes, Emily huffs and gets up. 

Confused, Fern looks up and says, "What's up?" 

"I just can't focus." Starting to walk towards the door, Emily says, "I think I'm going to go find a snack." 

"Wait." Indicating towards Emily's laptop, Fern says, "Show me your paper. Explain it to me." 

After mentally debating whether or not she wants to have this conversation, Emily says okay and sits next to Fern. She pulls up her paper and starts telling Fern about the topic. 

"I'm writing about squirrels and their role in the ecosystem. They're pretty important for the dispersion of tree seeds." 

"I've never thought about squirrels as important for the spread of trees, but I guess that makes sense. Do you have an outline that I can read?" 

"No, I don't like outlines." 

Fern narrows her eyes and says, "That's like saying you're going to go on a road trip, but you don't have any driving instructions." 

"Well, I did drive to Toronto without instructions last summer." 

"Yea and you kept having to stop and ask people for directions. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean that you can skip it. " 

Realizing that Fern isn't going to let this go, Emily starts to avoid eye contact and slowly reach towards the doorknob. Once she's close enough, she points to the whiteboard and yells, "What's that- a typo?" Not taking the time to see if Fern falls for her excellent distraction, Emily rips the door open and- 

She gets hit in the back by the cap of a whiteboard marker. 

Crap. 

Turning around and looking at Fern sheepishly, Emily says, "Does this mean that you aren't going to let me leave until I finish an outline?" 

Unamused, Fern crosses her arms and says, "Yes! Now get to work." 

Reluctantly returning to her work, Emily says, "yes, ma'am."

At one o'clock in the afternoon, Emily has finished her outline, and Fern is just wrapping up her proposal. 

Fern is channeling her inner famous actress and is dramatically reading out her research proposal. She only drops her drama character when she stops to correct errors in the document. 

Ignoring the tedious nature of a research proposal, Emily selectively pays attention to the cool science. Whenever all of the aspects of Fern's logical argument come together for a fascinating conclusion, or Fern looks particularly proud, Emily lets out a cheer of applause. 

After Fern has finished performing, she sees in her periphery a group of disgruntled students staring at her and Emily. 

Lowering her voice, Fern sits in her chair and says, "There are a bunch of grumpy people looking at us. Maybe I got a little too excited." 

Rolling her eyes, Emily says, "Eh, who cares. We'll never see those people again." 

Unsure, Fern says, "Okay." Focusing on her laptop, Fern opens up the submission folder of the project proposal and turns in her assignment. 

"Finished! Let's get out of here." 

Packing up her stuff, Emily says, "Wanna go celebrate?" 

"Yes! Let's go to the local gardening store. I want to get some seeds." 

"Seeds?" 

"Going on an adventure to look at gardening supplies sounds like a great time." 

Giving Fern a dubious look, Emily shrugs and says, "I'll come along."

"You died, Child. You died from the Pandemic" he stated. As he said that, everything came clear to me. I was Sergei, a teenager from the Modern Era, who died from the pandemic happening this recent year.. "I remember everything.." I said to him. As I told him that, he repeated his question. "So Child, Do you want to be reborn?" He looked at me, while i also looked back. I stared at him from up and down, with his untainted white beard, clean white robe, and flawless skin. I knew who he was.

"So you're God?" I asked him. He smiled since i figured it out.
"I thought you didn't believe in me Sergei?" He chuckled. Well, I got embarrassed. Who wouldn't? You not believing in God, next thing, you're staring right at him. "Well, i had my reasons. Haha.."
Damn, this is embarrassing.. "Alright, Alright. So do you want to be Reborn?" He asked. "Yeah, this includes anime right?" I questioned. "Of course. You, my creations, made it after all" He laughed. Oh yeah, we're made to be with his image. "Nice. I want to be in My Hero Academia. And will i choose my quirk?"
'I hope i get to choose...' I thought..

"Of course You can choose" Nice. I always wanted to have powers.. "I want to have a Magnet Quirk, like in Naruto where there's Magnet Release." I said excitedly.. 'I'm really gonna be doing this? Sweeeet.' God looked at me and smiled. "Done." Holy Shit. "Wait.. I can change the plot right?" I asked him. If i can't then isn't that boring. Chapter Three
Still overwhelmed and furious she looks around the room as she started moving around the room. She was left all alone after he left her. What the heck did that guy do to her. She faces the mirror and look at her reflection to see the greatest shock of her lifetime.
"W-What did he do to me? A-Am I...…a monster now?" she said as she looks at her own now foreign reflection.
The Tamara in the mirror has now a fair skin complexion making her looks so pale. She can still feel warmth and life from her body so she confirms that she isn't dead. But weirdly her body figure suddenly changed. Her breast suddenly became a little bit bigger and healthy, her usual dried lips are now reddish and full of life, her long curly hair with many split hairs are now silky smooth and straight, and what is scarier is her eyes. Her once brownish retinas are now reddish with a bluish outline on its sides. 
"I need to escape from here. I don't know that man quite well, what danger he might be. He looks dangerous and scary. I need to escape." She said as she looks around the room. 
Tamara tried the windows but they are shut really will. She sighs in frustration seeing that hanging padlock just outside the bar window seals. She walks towards the door and end up returning to the bed and sitting in frustration and anger. She is locked in. 
"What am I supposed to do now?" she uttered as she sat on the bed and hug her knees. 
She was alerted when a sound of chain being rattled from behind the door sounded. She immediately stood on the wall as she holds the bottle of wine that man was drinking from a while ago. Firmly clenching it in her hands she waited for someone to enter the now opening door. 
"Milady your dinner has been served. His Highness is waiting for you in the dining room." A man having a shoulder length hair that he tied in a ribbon on his back said as he bowed facing her after he stood just beside the now opened door.
"M-me? W-wait who are you and where the heck am I?" she said still holding the bottle firmly in her hand. 
The man remained bowed as he his arm is folded on his stomach and a white cloth hangs on his arm, both of his hands are cover in white gloves and he is wearing this odd butler uniform she usually see on movies. 
"Yes milady. You are in the Stanhore Mansion. My name is Charles, Prince Livious' butler. Please come with me, the master awaits you in the dining hall." He said as she looks at him still suspicious. 
"Standhore Mansion? You mean the old abandoned mansion on the edge of Tawner? The haunted mansion that no one dares to enter? H-How on earth…..." she said still in disbelief. 
If what this man saying is true, then she has a less chance of escaping but easy ones she gets out of the mansion. She knows every road from that area until her way back to her apartment. She only need to find the perfect chance to run.
"Please milady follow me." The man who introduced himself as Charles said and she reluctantly put back the bottle on the mini table beside the bed.
She silently looks around the hallway memorizing the way. She got to say the wall inside of the mansion look so grand while when you look at it from the outside it looks really scary and different. She knows that because during their Creative Writing subject her group mates wanted to write a story about ghost and they've chosen to use the Standhore Mansion as their research material. Unfortunately, after seeing how creepy and dangerous the mansion looks from the outside they decided to change it into a market story. She just need to get out of there and she can find her way home.
"Milady please enter. The master is waiting you inside." Charles said as he opens a door for her.
"W-What is going on? Why am I here in the first place? I-is it true...…what he said…is it true that I died?" she asks as she face Charles who is just bowing his head. 
That man Livious give her this uncertain feeling that he is dangerous. The way he talks, move and look at her is so unusual to normal people. Just like this Charles guy who seems to not care about everything but to accomplish his task. They both give this cold and dark aura as if you are near someone who is not there literally.  
"Forgive me milady but only the master can answer your inquiries further. Please go in. It would be best for you not to keep the master waiting. His temper is highly short-lived." Charles said making her sigh remembering what he did to her back in the room. Her face burned upon remembering how he molested her innocence.
"Yah, I can see that." She said softly before slowly walking into the dining room.
When she enters the room Charles walk-in behind her closing the door behind. She saw a bright wide dining room with a wide table with ten wooden chairs there are 2 vases with red roses on the center of the table. By the edge of the table sits Livious facing different served dishes as he constantly plays a glass full of red liquid in his right hand. He didn't even look up to spare them a glance. A menacing smirk appears on her lips as he slowly sips the content of his glass. 
"Master the lady is here. Do you have any other command?" Charles said as he bows towards the still not looking Livious.
"That will be all Charles. You may return to your previous task." Livious said as the servant turn around to leave. 
Tamara is left looking at this Livious guy with try to look brave and strong. She looks around to see no other exit points other than the door they came in. all windows are firmly shut and are covered with this greenish curtains. The whole place looks so clean like that of a house of those typical rich persons in movies. She thinks that other than Charles, there must be few other servants there. That will be another problem for her successful escape.

Tamara Lington's life is like any other normal humans have. But an uncertain and not foreseen event happened to her one cold night. The irony of it is that she run away from home to find meaning to her life but ended losing it. She died in such a way unpredictable. 

And........when she opened her eyes she is now in an unknown place held captive by an unknown man claiming to have brought her back to life.

Mu Feng: So first question to our Happy-go-lucky Author, why do you use such a pen name?
Flow07: Flow actually was created from my name Florence. My thinking flows like water and I love water. So with my name and thinking process, I started to fancy the word 'Flow'. And 07 means the month of July, my birth month and my favorite number.
Mu Feng: Oh, how creative! Is that why my sister Lan Lan has her birth date on July 14?
Flow07: Yes.
Mu Feng: Okay, next question. Is this the first time that you are writing a novel?
Flow07: Actually, when I was a kid, I used to write poems, basically about my family and relatives. Then, in middle school, I started writing long stories with no particular rules, so those works can't be called novels. And this is the first time I'm writing professionally.
Mu Feng: This novel that you created, what is this about? We read the synopsis, but please explain elaborately.
Flow07: Basically, it is about Hua Lan who becomes Mu Lan in the future. From the time she is born, her life is full of mysteries. Even her ex-lover Li and new lover Mu don't know that history thoroughly either. Many of us think what's so good about history. The present is more important. But I think, your past makes who you are in the present. So it's definitely important. Hua Lan's present is like that because of her past. From the time she was born. Mu Feng: So the powerful Mu isn't your main target?
Flow07: Not really. If it was then I wouldn't tell my Readers about the history of Mu Family in the first place. The intention of telling them about their history is because it is not that important and it is something that the readers needed to know. But it will play an important role in the future.
