THE SITUATION RIGHT NOW: I've gotten over the majority of my laziness. I'm unlikely to update this much. It's pretty much complete. The novel I'm working on is Dark Seas Leading Demise

So, as you are well aware, I haven't been able to upload anything as of late. While it was mostly because of trying to get into colleges and dealing with my overzealous schedule of 6 APs and a few internships, I have to attribute most of my lack of motivation to get back to this story due to the fact that I don't like how this book turned out.

If you couldn't tell, about halfway through, school picked up and I was rushing to complete chapters and began producing some absolutely horrendous chapters. Being my first experience writing, I was in over my head. I assumed that I could just wing it and was proven quickly wrong. Another reason is the writing style. After writing college essays 10 hours a day, 8 days a week, my writing style has changed dramatically. I feel like it is much better than the quality I wrote in the book and honestly, I am disappointed with it. Rereading the book and trying to get back into it, I realized how unfocused it was, how it drifted and meandered along. Being me, I can not continue the book without stabbing myself multiple times with shame.

This is not the end, however. I still love writing stories and I want to continue telling the story of Xavier, Persephone, Mordred, and the Hunter. The reason for this announcement is that I will be rewriting the book completely. Working with some of my friends, we feel that we can make a much better story line and develop the characters a lot better. I also believe that my new writing style will make the story more vivid and enjoyable. We are trying to be better prepared, and have a concrete plan to make sure the quality is maintained. So, look forward to reading the rewriting, currently we are working on the storyboarding the first ten chapters and the prologue is close to completion. If all things go well and how I have given up on school (senoritis sucks), we should be releasing the new version within a month or so (making a buffer and ARTWORK).

There is more good news. We have also planned a new story that is completely different from this one. Due to my friend group (mostly me)'s fascination with Warhammer 40k, we are starting a story set in that universe. Since this was decided yesterday, details are hazy, but I can guarantee that it will be awesome.

Realm of no time.
This realm is kind of interesting in  a sense that from this place you can observe true nature of time: possible future, already manifested present moment AND dematerializing past  at the same TIME. Because there is only "ONE time". everything that happens, happens   at the same time in this eternal NOW MOMENT…

 Somewhere in the middle of forgotten palace where there is only mystical silence was lying "IT".
"IT" because there is absolutely no accurate way to use any word to fully describe what it is …
 one of Ancient Heavenly Gods?ever-changing power? force that is above time ?  everything and none of this at  the same time .
 Who knows   how much time has passed   in lower realms, realms that are bound by shackles of time, until   the moment when "IT" decided to descend in realm of Heavenly Gods…
"IT" has awaked from its slumber ...
"hmmm….   I estimate it's been about several hundred million years   since I last had creative experimental fun?! 
Let's see how are my colleges doing "
"IT" unexpectedly activated quick surveillance mode. one can observe a thought process that looks like dancing galaxies, explosions and creation of stars, the fusion of new planes ... each thought is like a movie, the duration of which lasts a couple of tens of thousands of years ...

 after brief moment of mystical silence.
"hmm I see so my collages gained new creative ideas from my last "creative experiment dance party"..
Hehehe…
i wonder if they miss me ? hehehe...
And now everything is more or less "normal". no major events. well, if you exclude cases  of gods plane fusions and almost start of god realm war 7 …
 The most essential now is to digest experiment results …  and, perhaps, I can get closer to the  last bit of critical enlightenment so I can truly transcend space(form) law and get true immortality …"

"IT" went into deep meditative mode and proceeded digesting experience.

In universe the most essential thing for intelligent being is gnostical model.
Greater gnostical model means greater potential for the emergence of diverse reactions to the same informational impact. 
The multidimensionality of possible reactions to the same informational impact provides the possibility of maximum reception and perception of information about the surrounding world.

When creating a picture of the world, the completeness of information about the world is very important. With a piecewise perception of the environment, reliable, but not complete, information enters filed of consciousness. An intelligent creature, trying to create its own picture of the universe, collects these "pieces" into a single whole and, as a result, a distorted picture arises.
thus,  refining and improving the foundation on which this gnostical model is based is important.

"it" was immersed in deep mediation trying to figure out, gain enlightenment on the critical piece of knowledge that will lead to something fundamentally different …something which is truly horror to imagine – door to infinite possibilities!

developing gnostical model in contemplation : A gnostical  foundation that has a straightforward structure, with branches going to infinity, the area of the figure that describes the foundation is infinite instead of finite…
Such gnostical foundation, involves an infinite number of possible reactions to a single information impact, resulting in creation of a full-fledged picture of reality.
After some unknow time…
"Hmm I guess gaining enlightenment was failure …so it seems I am in dead-end?
when applying such a gnostical foundation, some construction principle unknown to other gnostical foundations should be used…. hmm"
"It" sank in to mystical silence …
suddenly a very strange idea came in his gnostical perception.
What if I try this possibility? "It" asked itself …

Suddenly "IT" entered in observation mode. 
yes, "IT" has started searching for most primitive gnostical perception model …
After a while "IT" has found so called planet "earth" ….

 Theoretical logical systems operating with refined concepts of "yes" - "no" ,"1"-"0" , excluding other options for logical solutions. The area of the figure that describes the gnostical foundation, instead of some finite value, becomes equal to zero.

The development of technology, in itself, is certainly beneficial but the deification of technology and, moreover, the assignment to it of such a role that it becomes the main characteristic of civilization… technology for the sake of technology hmm …"

Well, after some certain events, plane of god of death in this particular area indeed has declined and it also has influenced planet`s energetical system …
let's search for most noticeable events …. Hm?  Yagami light , proclaimed himself as a "god" and killed many so called "criminal" … in the end he met his end under the hands of  god of death  "Ryuk".
Well, his intellectual abilities are relatively   quite prominent on earth and he has some experience that meets my requirements.
there are also  some other choices   : "Near" ," L" , "mello " …   however  they don't meet  a certain criteria !
alright! it is decided ! I will handle reincarnation of Yagami Light`s  SPIRIT.

Our places on this earth are divided by oceans setting us apart from one continent to another. Several countries speaking several languages to understand each other. People with several cultures and beliefs. Different personalities and opinions.

In this chaotic world, we live in called real life we search for a place to escape from that reality. To be accepted as who or what we are. We have found that in the music we sing. In the books, we read. In the movies we watch. In the places, we travel and visit. Everywhere in which we get inspiration to face reality head-on.

We write stories or poems to inspire others, reading the words we weave from our own world. For some of us, it is simply an escape from reality into a world in which we can use our imaginations to dream make-believe or to live our secret fantasies or just plain be creative.

Getting on the web gives us more ways to share and get connected to other people with the same kind of thinking from across the ocean. Some of the people we meet along the way give us reasons to smile again. It's where we become friends, get to know them well, and get so close that we even trust them enough to share our own greatest fears.

I was a living a kind of living death when I found solace here on Stories Space. A place to write, camouflaging my hatred and sadness from myself when I was reading all the poetry and fictional fantasies created by the writers. I found another escape from reality and indulged in reading.

My feelings from my own troubles in life had made me feel so empty that only through laughter and reading could I be free and somewhat whole again.

I made my own heaven in purgatory.

A friend told me to write down all of my pains and troubles in poems or stories. Another friend of mine told me to be fierce in my poetry writing. I found friends who helped me give my own life a reason to continue living again through writing.

Writing makes me calm every time my mind gets into a panic mode. The pains and the fears of the unknown are my muses for writing.

When I met someone who understood me and made me feel needed and loved my poetry changed its tune. It made me think of happy thoughts. I got inspired by the things I saw and the happy memories of my childhood that I could write about.

Painful memories and realities were always there and so I wrote about them from time to time.

When that someone left me I continued writing. The same inner muse I had gained I used to keep on writing.

Then, out of nowhere, I got to know you. I became happy again. This time I got even more inspired and more creative, experimenting with my writings.

I set aside my shyness and reservations to write creatively. I still can't overcome some of my shyness and reservation but I am blooming, inspired by you.

You became my muse.

The man in the moon. The stars in my darkest hours. When at night I can't sleep thinking of you calms me to sleep.

The sunshine after the heavy storm. Where all the dead trees come to life again. That keeps me warm when everything gets chilly.

My own little heaven in my real life purgatory.

I am a 13 year old who loves reading .I thought that I cold give a try in writing and here I am .Never expected anyone to read my book and Thank you to all who read it.I live in India so we have English as our first language so there won't be many grammatical mistakes.We have compulsory creative writing in English so all of us are used to writing lame stories.I know currently nothing much is happening in the story but I can assure that by the weekend the story will get interesting.

what if, your marriage was not your own choice

Hello everyone, I am Orubi, the author of Immortal Kingdom! Several things have happened since the time I started writing the book and now I have made an important decision! But before telling you I would like to introduce myself and tell you a bit about my goal as an author!
As much as you may know, I'm Brazilian, I'm 20 years old, I'm a biology student, with a focus on botany! I intend to be a teacher in the future, I have not decided if I want to focus on schools or colleges, I think it depends on the opportunities I will have!

And now focusing a little on being an author, I think I have no other way to explain, if not, my love to read! From very small age, 3~4 years I had already learned to read and was in love with "Turma da Monica" a comic series from Maurício de Sousa! This love has been growing for a long time, with short breaks that coincide with a Call of Duty release (but let's not talk about it), this love of reading has united for a love of RPG, D&D to be more specific! In one of the game sessions I had the opportunity to be Dungeon Master and soon I fell in love with creating a story and interacting with the adventurers!
 After two years of playing and creating stories with my friends I had my first contact with the Oriental stories! I started Tales of Demon's and God's and I really enjoyed the story even though being in a completely different format from Western stories, short chapters and cyclic rhythm (situation a »b» c »a» b ... if you read TDG it's fight »make money »House of auctions» ...) from all my readings I gained a certain appreciation of the Kingdom Building theme (MY influencers were release that witch, I have a mansion in the apocalypse, god and devil world and Rebirth of the Thief Who Roamed the World).
But even reading so many stories and trying out an experience like DM, it did not make it any easier to be an author and create a book! At least I do not think so! Writing something is very difficult! I started the story very excited and with a good plan, and right away I realized that I gained several views if I kept a good flow of chapters, I believe that was the moment things started to go back, I started to try to guarantee one chapter a day, but the story carried errors (of logic and grammar) and in writing things became even more complex because I had to deal with the errors of the previous chapters!
I have reversed the order of my priorities! I do not have a commitment to have a large number of readers, but to create a good story! My conception of a successful author is not one that has thousands of readers or that makes a lot of money, but an author who can convey emotions to readers! I'm far from reaching this level, but I believe that one day I can reach! And why am I saying this to you?
During this Christmas/New Year period I wrote a lot but I did not have the courage to publish and I will not publish! Reason: Frustration! I did not like how things happened and I was not planning to do it that way! After thinking for a while I did not see any better solution if it was not to delete and start again, so I sincerely apologize to those who have donated Power Stone to Immortal Kingdom! One can consider this story as dropped! But if you still have an interest in this ploy, I'll rewrite the story the way I planned it, in a slower way, and worry about writing a story that is consistent with my planning! I will not guarantee chapters every week! But I will guarantee a good quality in every chapter!

If you give up the story, I apologize for the mistakes made along the way and I wish you good readings in the future!

Daeva after bumping with Juno, she thought that her behavior wasn't so nice. But when the school bell rings, she snapped out of it and went to her designated room for her subject. Daeva is a fourth year college student in Literature and Creative Writing. She thought of becoming a writer to write literary pieces based on her experiences. Also, she thought that becoming a writer would allow her to have a small chance of interacting with people.

When she was about to enter her room, her Professor bumped into her. Mrs. Sanchez smiled at her. Daeva greeted her good morning and Mrs. Sanchez greeted her in return.

They both entered the room and Daeva sat at the second row. Mrs. Sanchez greeted her class and began discussing a lesson about her subject. She kept blabbing in front while Daeva glanced at the window. She caught a glimpse of Juno who's about to leave the school gates. As she follows Juno with her eyes, she began to feel a sharp pain at her left forearm. She didn't bother looking at it, she knows that it's currently bleeding so she just pulled her black sleeves lower. She returned her attention to her discussing professor and listens to her.

A couple of subjects passed then Daeva's lunch break arrived. She quickly ate at the cafeteria before going to the library. The school's library was enormous. It's also where the book club is rooming. Daeva is a member of the Book club and happens to be a good friend of Kevin, the Book club's president. When Daeva came in, she found Kevin fixing books that weren't returned to the proper shelve. She just picked up some books that were left at the tables and did the same. There weren't too much people in the library for now so she started casually chatting with Kevin.

"Hey Kev, you seem frustrated... What's wrong??" asked Daeva.

"Student School Council Vice President...She destroyed my morning." said Kevin casually.

"What did she do to you?" Daeva felt curious.

"Oh nothing...She just shuted me out... refusing to do some student council duties...or simply take the proposal and leave it to miss President's table... That's all..." Kevin replied.

Daeva didn't asked further what happened...But then, she felt like the person who she bumped with earlier at the hall way was the Vice President.

"The Vice President, was she the campus belle I keep hearing about." Daeva asked.

"Hmm? Yeah, that's her...Why, what's up?" asked Kevin as he finished arranging the books.

"I think she's the pretty blonde girl I bumped with this early morning. She wasn't really polite." Daeva said as she scratches the area where she felt pain while staring at Juno.

Kevin saw Daeva scratched her forearm right bellow her palm. He looked at Daeva with malicious intent. His lips curved up at one side. He then grab Daeva's hand and brought her to the school's clinic. Daeva didn't resisted and just followed Kevin.

The nurse was currently out of the clinic so Daeva's forearm can be treated. She pulled her sleeve up and let Kevin treat her wound. Kevin cleaned the blood off and covered it with bandage. When he was done, Daeva thanked Kevin and they came back to the library. 

There, while Daeva was waiting for her next class like Kevin, they decided to read a book. Daeva picked a random fantasy book while Kevin opened his laptop and read about demons.

"Let's go home together later and just order pizza for dinner, what do you say?" Kevin offered to Daeva.

Daeva just nodded, it's not very often that they go home together. Daeva and Kevin are roommates and oftentimes, Daeva gets home first before Kevin because of his club president duties.

Almost an hour have passed and Kevin closed his laptop. It's time for his next class, Daeva still have over half an hour before her next subject so Kevin just left her. When Kevin left the library, the atmosphere in the library became gloomy. Anyone who's in there felt uncomfortable, some left but some ignored it. Daeva is feeling a bit irritated but what can she do? She can't get rid of them...never...

Daeva kept reading until its just 15min left before her next class. She stood up from her sit and returned the book into one of the shelves. She felt a hand caressed her cheek and hear a chuckle. Daeva ignored it and left the library.

When she's out of the library, she can feel that someone ran "its" fingers on her hair. Her mouth was twitching, slowly forming a malicious grin. She covered her mouth with her hands, then, she took out a face mask from her pants's pocket and covered her grin. She went to her next class as if nothing had happened.

She still have 2 subjects left for her to survive. Her 3rd subject for the day passed as if it was a filler chapter of her day. Nothing very interesting occurred nor the class. But on her final subject of the day: Creative Writing, the class was given an activity and that is to write a poem. The poem have no specific theme but should be rhyming.

Writing poems weren't a problem for Daeva at all. She doesn't limit herself when it comes to writing and its subject. She writes what's in her mind and what she feels. They we're given an hour and when they were done, they are then dismissed. Daeva finished after 30min, she's always the first one to finish. As she passed her work and leaves the room, her professor Mr.Wilson gave her work a read.

This is a collection of different stories but all told by one person, Daeva. A mysterious young woman who's always very reserved and isolated from everyone. You may approach her like anyone else but beware...

This is a horror/suspense story...please read with caution. You might not be able to sleep at night with lights off and open doors and windows.

This will be an information chapter. It's not apart of the actual story since it's in the auxiliary volume however it will have extras. Such as a world map. And any other things that is not in the main chapters would be here (When I'm bothered enough to write it).
World Map: The link for the world map will be in the comments as you can't copy and paste text within webnovel. The world has 3 continents Drago, Kingdar, Faltro. And there are multiple countries however there are 4 main ones. Read the story to find out why they're the main ones. They're named Yelgard, Relgraw, Veldrey and Camelot.
Also why the names are written weird on the map is explained in the 3rd chapter (sorta) but it's basically the writing system of Xaltrey is English but fancily written because I'm not creative.
History of Xaltrey: Read the book. That's the juicy stuff. I can't give it away yet. However it hasn't been revealed yet as I'm writing but eventually.
