Li Du was astonished by the affection people had for the cute pets. Not only Ah Meow, but Crispy Noodles also joined in the effort of selling cookies.
Ah Meow was good at performing; Crispy Noodles was strong, so he played the role of the cart pusher.
With the help of the two furry kiddos, Li Du accompanied Victoria around the supermarket. They succeeded in drawing a lot of attention and sold many cookies.
Each of them was in charge of something; Victoria was in charge of choosing customers; Ah Meow took the role of the salesperson by acting adorable and going up to the potential customers to sell cookies; Crispy Noodles provided logistical support.
When people bought cookies, they were allowed to touch Ah Meow once and also take a picture with the ocelot. However, they were not allowed to hug him. They could only sit side by side with him while taking the photo.
Victoria was also in charge of collecting money. In no time they exchanged many boxes of cookies for the green US dollars.
Nevertheless, Li Du was not satisfied with this arrangement, for Ah Meow did most of the work interacting with people. Victoria would not be able to learn any social skills this way.
Li Du tried to encourage the little girl. "Sweetie, you need to get yourself involved! Shout out and let people notice you!"
"Shout what?" the little girl asked, her eyes wide.
"Shout to sell your cookies!" Li Du answered.
The little girl now understood what he meant. She clenched her little fists and raised her little face. She hesitated for a while, blushed, and tried to shout.
But her voice was so soft like a mosquito. Li Du couldn't hear it at all. He spoke louder to demonstrate: "Yell louder, like what I'm doing now!"
She nodded her head heavily and took a deep breath. "Sale! Sale! Sale!"
Li Du was speechless.
Not only was she a foodie, but also a natural airhead.
"Not like that. What are you yelling?" He did not know whether to laugh or to cry.
The little girl looked at him, clueless and spoke softly, "I'm sorry, big brother. Do you want me to switch it to Californian accent? Or do you want me to speak French or German?"
The little girl surprised Li Du; she had no social experience at all.
"You're supposed to yell like this," said Li Du. "Cookies for sale! Cookies for sale! Scouts selling cookies, two dollars per box. No matter how much you buy, it's always two dollars per box! It's your loss if you don't buy one!"
"Huh?" The little girl was dumbfounded.
"Anyway, you just yell like this," said Li Du. "You have to shout out your objective. Let people know that you're selling cookies. Get them to want your cookies."
After hesitating, Victoria said, "I got it."
"Okay, go for it!"
They walked to the square. "Scout selling cookies," yelled the little girl. "Scout selling cookies, two dollars per box."
Then she stopped for a while and continued yelling, "Buy one box, you can take a picture with the raccoon. Buy two boxes, you can take a picture with an ocelot. Buy three boxes and you can take a picture with both of them."
Li Du blinked. This little girl was kind of smart. She was better than him as she had found a better sales pitch.
In the beginning, her voice was rather soft as she was embarrassed. But, there were many customers who bought them, especially parents who had children with them.
Because of this, Victoria gained some courage and tried to yell louder and louder.
Lewton walked beside Li Du; he enviously asked, "How did you train your ocelot and raccoon? They're brilliant! They're smarter than my stupid friends!"
"Perhaps they are naturally smarter," Li Du answered.
Ah Ow, in his arms, was even more intelligent than the other two animals. But, Ah Ow was too small, and he could not let her freely walk about. If someone stepped on her accidentally, she could die.
"You have such smart and adorable pets, you should not let them out in the open like this. Let's say you own a strip club and you have girls like Marilyn Monroe or Sophie Marceau in the club. Could you just let them appear in public like this?
"You should treasure them by only letting them appear on the stage. You don't let them perform a striptease in public—they should only appear on the stage of the club!"
Li Du was stunned. "What do you mean?"
"Simple. These little pets can be internet wannabes. You should show them off on the internet to get followers. Then, you monetize your account—you'll definitely make a killing!"
"I don't want that," Li Du said, shaking his head.
He knew nothing about social media and the internet-wannabe industry. He also wasn't in need of money. If he needed cash, he could always make some by looking for more storage units.
Lewton said, "You should do this—you can make a huge fortune!"
Ah Meow and Crispy Noodles could definitely be online celebrities. One could tell from their popularity in the square.
They were very popular with people of all ages. Whether it was kids or senior citizens, men or women, they were very interested in the two animals.
In less than an hour, all the cookies sold out. Victoria's wallet bulged with money—the proceeds from selling the cookies.
Staring at the money in a daze, she murmured, "I did this?"
Li Du shrugged. "Well, I didn't sell a single cookie."
Victoria was excited. She grabbed Li Du's hand and said, "I'm not an introvert! I'm not a silly girl who didn't know how to sell cookies. I'm awesome, I'm awesome! "
"Of course! You're outstanding…" Li Du gave her a big thumbs up.
Seeing the little girl holding the Wonder Woman comic, he said, "You're incredible just like Wonder Woman. You're the Wonder Woman of selling cookies!"
"I'm Wonder Woman?" Victoria stared at Li Du for affirmation.
"Yes you are! You must believe in yourself. As long as you want to, you can create miracles!"
"Yeah, I'm Wonder Woman!" Victoria nodded her head excitedly.
"Come on, we sold all the cookies. With this hot weather, look at yourself—all sweaty. You should reward yourself. Let's drink something cold."
Listening to his words, the little girl held her wallet tightly and said unwillingly, "I brought my water bottle along. But I want to get something for Ah Meow and Crispy Noodles. They've been really helpful."
Her words made Li Du smile with satisfaction. This girl might be shy and introverted, but she was a good girl—much better than all the other kids he'd met.
Thrifty, hardworking, thoughtful and considerate: these were excellent qualities in a young girl.
"I'll buy you a drink," said Li Du. "You should keep the money for Mother Mesa."
Victoria shook her head stubbornly. "No, I'll buy you a drink. I'll explain to Mother Mesa later. I can't let you spend a penny!"
Li Du thought at first she was just being polite, but she was really insistent on this. While queuing up to buy drinks, she stood in the crowd and was adamant about paying for them.
So, Li Du stopped trying to convince her and ordered the cheapest drink, a Coke.
"What about Ah Meow and Crispy Noodles?" Victoria asked.
"They can't drink beverages," said Li Du. "I'll get some ice cubes and give them each one."

The Orphanage Shina used to live in was very close to the southern exit of Ravena, and so they soon arrived in front of it.

The Orphanage was located nearby the commercial area where they were before. It was a lilac mansion on two floors, with a large beautiful garden with green grass and some flower beds. There they could see some Demi-Human children playing in the garden.

"Shina!" A little Demi-Human Tiger girl of about ten years old noticed Shina's arrival started running toward her.

"Shina?"

The other kids also heard it and looked towards Shina when they saw her. They immediately broke out into a run, delighted to see her.

Embracing Shina, the little Demi-Human Tiger girl said, "It's great that you came back!" She smiled.

"Mm!" Shina nodded and smiled, hugging the girl back.

It didn't take long for Shina to be surrounded by children. They were curious to know where she was and why it took so long for her to return.

After she managed to calm them down, Shina introduced to the children: Yuki, Theo, Zaika, Zaira and Little Yui, who were all soon surrounded by the children.

And since they don't usually get many visitors, they were full of curiosity for them, asking all kinds of questions.

They mostly asked about adventures while they lived outside of Ravena since they had never left the city before.

Not seeing Aine and Nanda, Shina asked, "Where are Aine and Nanda? And the older girls?"

Demi-Human Tiger replied, "They went to the market to shop!" She then pointed to the porch of the house, where there was a dark-haired cat-eared Demi-Human lying down sleeping soundly. "You see, Big Sister Kelly, who was taking care of us, is sleeping as usual!" She sighed cutely.

A dark-haired Demi-Human girl with dog ears came in front of Theo, a little shy, she asked, "Uhh… are you the Prince of this book?" She showed a drawing of a young man with long golden hair and golden eyes.

Another 8-year-old Demi-Human wolf-eared boy exclaimed, "Ohh! Is it really him? They both have golden hair and golden eyes!"

Theo smiled, wryly. Even if they have golden hair and eyes, they are not much alike… well, in the eyes of a child, maybe just because they are a bit alike, is enough to make them believe it was really him, and let their imaginations run wild.

It also caught the attention of the other kids, now looking at Theo with their star-struck eyes. Yeah, they all liked this comic.

Theo didn't know what to do, but he couldn't deny it… because he didn't want to make them sad.

A light-skinned, red-haired little Demi-Human Fox, who was apparently the youngest of children 5 to 6 years old, tugged at Theo's sleeve and with her finger to her mouth, she asked, "Umm… in history you can make candy with magic… can you really make candy that way?"

Smiling slightly, Little Yui coughed, clearing her throat and said, "Ahem! Of course, Daddy can make candy with magic! He always does it for Yui!" Little Yui answered proudly instead of Theo.

"Yes, he really can do it!" Shina smiled, stoking the fires.

Now Theo couldn't escape it anymore, the kids were already convinced that he was the "Prince" of their comic book…

Without much choice, Theo made several chocolate bars appear in his hands. He had bought them with his System.

Smiling kindly at the children, he says, "Okay, line up, I'll give you these sweets."

"Hurray!" The kids were happy and lined up in front of Theo, with lovely, cute smiles on their faces.

But not only they were in line… Little Yui joined in too. But that's not what really surprised Theo. Even the Lobas sisters, Zaika and Zaira, also queued up…

With great interest, Shina and Yuki also joined the line.

Theo frowned at that, but then shook his head and smiled, not minding to give them chocolate either.

He then gave chocolate to all the children. He also gave some to Shina, Yuki, Zaika and Zaira.

Soon Little Yui became very popular with children because she was the daughter of the "Prince."

The dark-haired Demi-Human girl with the dog ear that had the comic book said, "Huh… Yui? Are you a princess? Since you are the Prince's daughter, you must be!"

"I don't know… wait a minute! Yui will ask Daddy!" Little Yui headed toward Theo, who was talking to Yuki, Shina, Zaika and Zaira about their experiences with the Spiritual Sense technique.

Getting close to them, Little Yui asked, "Daddy, Daddy, is Yui a Princess?"

Theo smiled as he said, "Huh? Haha! Of course, you are! You're the cutest and most adorable princess ever!"

"Ohh! Hehee ~" Little Yui put both hands on her rosy cheeks as she grinned, "Daddy, you are also the most handsome Prince of all!" Then she hugged him tight.

Some hours later, sisters, Aine and Nanda returned, along with other Demi-Humans between twelve and fifteen years old. They were surprised and grateful for Shina's return.

"We're glad you're fine, Shina! We were very worried about you!" Nanda, a Demi-Human purple-haired cat, said as she hugged Shina affectionately.

Aine, who was also a Demi-Human cat and Nanda's twin sister, hugged Shina and said, "Welcome back!"

Shina couldn't stand it and shed a few tears and said, "I'm back!"

The other Demi-Humans were excited about Shina's return and also hugged her gently.

And after noting Theo and their presence, they were introduced to Theo, Yuki, Zaika, Zaira and Little Yui.

Nanda, the demi-human cat with short purple hair, asked, "Theo, are you really the Golden Fox who met us back then?"

Theo volts, an 18-year-old Brazilian, died on his way home as he was struck by lightning. Upon waking he discovers that he was no longer human but a red fox. In addition, he also came to discover that he was gifted with a miraculous system.

Defeating monsters and frantic animals, Theo climbed into his cultivation, turned into a golden fox and conquered a Goblin village.

I'm finally free. My little sister really enjoys when I read to her, and with the second volume of the princesses books our mother brought recently, she became once again obsessed with those 'new' stories. 

It has been a really bad year. I went from believing I had a lot of time to introduce all kinds of stories to the world, to realize that I wasn't the only reincarnated person in the world. And the others were not playing around like I've done until now.

One guy has already written three books, with a fourth coming out soon. Another one has somehow made a cartoon for tv. And there were at least three others making their 'own' comic books, if the information my father has is correct.

Fortunately no one has touched any of the titles I love. But that didn't mean that no one was planning on it, or even worse, already doing it. So now I could only work hard and pray for the best possible outcome. 

"Rachel! It's time to go, are you ready?" My father called me. 

We were going to the comic publisher where my father has some friends. I planned to familiarize myself in the comic business to eventually make one of my own. After all, I have a talent for drawing and I know many interesting stories. 

"Yes daddy" I said with a sweet smile. I couldn't have him regret his decision after all the time I had spent convincing him to bring me there. 

"Are you really planning on making your own comic?" My father asked once we were on the road. 

"Yes! After you told me about the other kids my age doing so much, it inspired me" I replied with extra enthusiasm. 

My father sighed at my answer, "I know that you're a really talented girl with a precious gift, but you don't need to try this hard. You're young, and it worries me all the effort you been putting these last days" He said with a soft tone. 

It's true that I have been working hard lately. And I'm grateful for the care that my father always gives me. But it's nothing serious, he's just perplexed with the sudden change in my attitude. I went from a relaxed and playful girl, to a hard working one who hardly plays anymore. 

"I know daddy. I just want to try it out and see what happens with my own eyes" I finally said. There was no way I could explain to him the importance of not wasting time. 

The rest of our time in the car was filled with the typical questions about school and the friends I've made. My suffering only stopped until we arrived to our destination, where I finally could get out to get some needed space. 

I didn't had any expectations for the place, but still I have to admit that I was somehow disappointed. It was just a building, with no special details worth mentioning, besides the big sign at the entrance. 

Fortunately the interior had more life to it. There were some people walking from one side to the other, talking and discussing loudly about many things. 

Among the group of people there was one of my dad's friends, an amicable looking middle age guy, who was a little on the fat side. When he saw us, he approached with a happy expression on his face. 

"Robert! Nice to see you" He said before giving my father a short hug. 

"I see that you haven't left the hamburgers, huh?" My father joked. 

"Hahaha, I tried it for a couple of days... Never again!" He replied. And then they proceeded to joke around for a extremely long time. In my unbiased opinion. 

"Glenn, this is my daughter. Rachel" My father suddenly said. I was starting to think that he forgot to introduce me in the first place. 

"Hello Mr. Glenn, I'm Rachel. It's nice to meet you" I saluted him politely. 

"Nice to meet you too!" He said to me with a smile, "Are you sure that she's your daughter? She's cute and well mannered after all" He joked again. But I sure wasn't going to let them go at it again. 

"Mr. Glenn, what is everyone doing? They seem to be discussing something important" I asked while pointing the group of people in front. 

"Oh! They are discussing about work, we have some deadlines to accomplish after all... Although the topic now is about Michael. A kid who's making this really cool comic book named 'The walking dead' " He explained. 

"Is Michael here?" I asked quickly. I really wanted to meet another person in my situation. Maybe the possibility of working together wasn't impossible after all. 

"Yes, do you want to meet him?" He asked with interest. 

I just nodded in confirmation, and after some more small talk between the 'adults', we went towards one of the rooms in the building. 

Inside, there was a young kid my age discussing with two adults about something related to the violence of the comic, according to what I could hear. 

The kid, that should be Michael, had a beautiful shiny blonde hair, although a little too long for my liking. He had pale skin, a small pointy nose, and deep blue eyes. He's definitely cute. 

"Ok, let me ask the boss" One of the adults said, and then walked away. 

Taking advantage of the situation, I approached quickly with a clear intention on mind. "Hey there. I'm Rachel" I introduced myself to the pair in front of me. Although my eyes never left Michael. 

"Hello Rachel. I'm Thomas and this is my son Michael" He said once he noticed his son's lack of interest. 

"Tom! How is it all going?" Glenn asked once he and my dad got closer. 

Like I supposed, there was a problem about how violent the comic was turning out. What did surprise me, was that no one mentioned the fact that a little kid imagined that violence in the first place. 

The adults were discussing about it, so I finally made my move, "Hey, are you planning in doing the whole farm storyline? I ask because I wasn't really a fan of that part in the TV show" I said with a mischievous smile. 

I totally caught him off guard. His expression transformed quickly from irritating and expressionless, to one full of surprise and I even dare to say relief too. 

"Come with me" He simply said after a while, and walked towards one corner of the room. I signaled my father where I was going and then followed him. 

"So another one has appeared" He said playfully when we reached a 'safe' spot. 

"Why are you trying to act like I didn't surprise you? Your face before was pure gold" I joked. 

"Ha ha, a funny one I see" He said, adopting a more serious expression. "Let's drop the act. Why are you here?" 

"Do I need a reason to present myself to you?" I asked back. I wanted us to have talked casually for a longer period of time before we started with business. But he obviously had other plans. 

He just sighed with a tired expression at my words, "Well, let me present the situation from my perspective first, so we'll both are in the same place" He said with a low tone that totally didn't match his boyish looks. 

"I don't know how many reincarnated people there are. And I suspect, given the people I'm aware of, that we all were born around the same year... What I do know, is that we have a big opportunity to succeed thanks to our bast knowledge of future inventions. But like the kids we are, we are limited in our actions... So, the entertainment industry turned out to be the best alternative for us to tackle. Comics, books, tv shows, music. There's a lot of possibilities... "

"I'm aware of that. In fact I'm planning to make a certain story on my own. Which, as you could have guessed, is the principal reason of my presence here" I said with a small smile.  

"That's cute" He smirked, but it didn't last long before his serious expression returned "...In my case, once I realized the situation I was in, all I could think of was to make this one property I loved and make it my own. Give it my own spin if you may...But I was late" 

That sucks, I really hope that doesn't happen to me. And considering that 'Harry Potter' is very popular, it could happen at any time. 

"What was the property you wanted to make?" I asked. I didn't want to pry, but my curiosity was bigger. 

"Star wars" He admitted, "A girl named Carla presented the idea earlier to other comic publisher" 

I completely forgot about that one. It will be hard to make it popular at this time though. And introducing it with a comic instead of a movie, will make it even more difficult. 

"Do you know of others like us?... Besides Carla I mean" I was curious, and he seemed to know more than me about the others. 

"So you really want to join the fun, huh?" Michael said, while he genuinely smiled for the first time. "Well you're in luck, thanks to my father I was able to get to know about most of the competition... 

There's this unknown girl, who I believe will participate in a kid show. But she's going with the music route, so I'm not that interested about her.

Miguel, who I discovered recently, is writting 'The chronicles of Narnia'. Although I been told that it will take him some time to finish.

And the worst of all, even more so than Carla, is this guy who doesn't know how to take it easy. Samuel..."

Samuel Bane, a guy who was just a normal 23 year old in another life, was living in a new world with his memory intact. 

The new world is almost exactly the same as the one he lived before, except that the period of time was similar to the mid 80's that he knew by the movies and tv shows he watched.

This story will focus on how Sam enters the entertainment business. Getting his works published and meeting new people on his way towards an unheard level of success. 

The concept of the story has inspiration in "I'm really a super star", but it's nothing alike.

Percy has a pece of toast in his mouth, holding his bookbag tight,and meets up with Comiclover23 .

Comiclover23 takes a piece of toast from Percy tastes it, and says "It needed more butter".

"Always with the butter", said Percy muffled.
Ka Mary is already outside heading for her friends, while kicking her soccer ball with her knee.

May is with Ka Mary, both of them playing soccer as they head for the bus stop.

Harmony is playing on a flute along with Dot and Devin as his audience.

Kell pushes the red button on the bus stop and this teleports the kids inside Moonshine Academy.

Comiclover23 notice somebody tapping on his shoulder, he turns around to see Redcrow:a girl who has long black hair, wearing skull earrings, black shirt with a picture of a purple lightning bolt,purple skirt with black stripes, black boots; who is holding his comic book.

"Comiclover23, long time no see, still reading X-men", Redcrow noticed.

"I feel mutual comics until I found a comic about a goth team of mutants, which made me smile with happiness I have inside of me", Redcrow admitted.

"Really! What's it called?" wondered Comiclover23, with a smile on his face.

Myleka is taking notes of Comiclover23 and Redcrow's conversation.

"You read comics?" Myaleka asks Myleka in a whisper.

Myleka ignores Myaleka.

Redcrow and Comiclover23 continue talking until they see Blueberry: a boy with red hair, wearing a long black dress, two purple rings , and purple heels.

Next to Blueberry is Flower, a girl who has blond hair wearing a black eye shadow, black/purple dress, black gloves, and shoes that match the dress.

"Marcus, what a surprise", said Flower.

"Yeah", said Marcus.

As the bell rings, the goths walk away.

"See you at lunch", said Flower.

"See ya", said Marcus.

The kids go to the classroom.

The teacher has long grey hair, white skin, wearing a turtleneck, wedding ring, blue jeans, and white sneakers. His name is Mr. Peach.

"I'm Mr. Peach, your music teacher, today we will playing a special Egyptian music note", said Mr. Peach.

So, everybody grab a flute, that's on hanging on the wall.

Four flutes are different from the other flutes.
The classroom is filled with music.

The sound of the flute opens a portal that shows a woman who has black hair, wearing a white top hat, a white shirt, pants, and boots named Amiak.

"Whoa!" exclaimed the kids.

"Children, meet Amiak", said Mr. Peach.

"What?" asked Dot.

"She said it's a pleasure to meet you all", said Myleka.

"Let guess, you speak backwards", said Myaleka.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I?" answered Myleka.
"Never mind", said Myaleka.

"She said who wants to travel into the realm of TV", replied Myleka.

"I would love to, give it a try, you want to join Myaleka?" Ka Mary tells Aimiak.

"Yeah, why not?" asked Myaleka, shrugging her shoulder.

Aimiak opens a portal, which Ka Mary and Myaleka go through.

From the portal, Ka Mary and Myaleka see a desert and a motorcycle.

Ka Mary and Myaleka ride the motorcycle to a diner.

Inside a diner, there is a 7-year-old boy who has black hair wearing a red suit drinking wine.

"What is going on?" asked Ka Mary in a whisper.

"We must be in the show 'I'm from the future'. It's a classic in my opinion", said Myaleka in a whisper.

"Oh, I watched only season 2, I was going to go to season 1, after school", said Ka Mary.

"So, who are two lovely ladies?" asked Trent.

"Follow my lead", Myaleka whispered.

"Okay", said Ka Mary.

"We're travelers, this is my girlfriend: Ka Mary and i'm Myaleka", said Myaleka, with her arm around Ka Mary.

'This is going to be a weird adventure', thought Ka Mary.

"So, you went through the aging affect too", said Trent.

"Yup", said Ka Mary and Myaleka.

"Good, because I have to go on a special mission, and I might need assistance", said Trent.

"Really? What kind of mission?" asked Ka Mary.

"It requires time travel", said Trent.

"How much trouble?" asked Myaleka, as a smoothie appears in front of her and Ka Mary.

"Nothing life threatening, but you still should be cautious", said Trent. "Well?"

"We accept", said Ka Mary.

"Good, we leave at dawn", said Trent, heading to the back.

"When can leave this realm?" asked Ka Mary, concerned.

"After we complete the mission, he won't get suspicious", said Myaleka.

Somebody puts a dagger is put by Myaleka's neck, and says "Don't move".

"I wouldn't do that", said Ka Mary.

"Why not?" asked The biker.

Background-
First life: Mike smoke was born in 1995 and raised in Atlanta Georgia Mike lived a normal life. 
At a very young age, it became obvious that Mike was a very hands-on kid. As he liked to express himself more with his hands than his mouth. 

And when Mike was 10 he showed interested in engineering due to some influence of his parents but more so from tv shows and some of his favorite comic heroes. Mike liked a lot of shows such as "Myth Busters", "How its made", "Avengers", "Star Wars", "Gundam" and many others. 

When his friends asked what is his favorite comic is he would say he liked Marvel over DC cause they have too many OP characters. But still reads some DC comics as well as other stuff like manga because he likes some of their characters, stories, and powers. 

When he became 16 and got his permit his parents got to training him in driving, which made him happy. Then while in class one of Mike's teachers talked about a scholarship that was looking for students interested in electrical and mechanical engineering programs from the Georgia Institute of Technology. 

Mike and some of the other students went to apply but saw he is missing some classes. So when Mike went home he told his parents about the scholarship, they were all for it but under the condition that he would do some jobs or do some easy money scholarship as they didn't have enough money on them. 

And Mike agreed, so for 1 year and a half of job surfing and doing other miscellaneous work to get the money needed, he finally got enough money for the classes needed for the scholarship. Even after Mike getting the money needed he kept doing working due to liking some of the jobs he did though not as much as before and to have some pocket money for himself. 

After graduation, Mike was told that he only had 6 months to himself before he goes to Georgia Institute of Technology. So for 5 months Mike's takes it slow and spends his time doing what he wants by himself or sometimes with his family and friends. After his five months doing what he wanted was over he went to Georgia Institute of Technology, enrolled himself into their system picked the mechanical engineering course and classes. It took Mike 5 years to finish his mechanical engineering course and in all that time he managed to get a job for a big growing company from one of the many internships he did. 

25 years later, Mike is a 48-year-old guy happily married with a beautiful wife and 2 kids he loves dearly. Everything looked like it was going good for Mike but as we all know all good things tend to come to an end. 

While Mike and his family were going to the bank to make bank accounts for his kids. Until two guys in all black clothing, jacket, camo pants, gloves and masked came in with one handgun each, they had Glock to be specific. One of them was at the door most likely the lookout and the other one was forcing everyone to follow his orders or get shot, he ordered everyone to line up against the walls with their back to the wall and sit. It was obviously a bank robbery, the two robbers were having easy for like 15 minutes till the cops showed up and surrounded the whole bank. That's when everything went south and the robber started using the people as hostages. 

Throughout this whole, Mike was scared and worried about his wife and kids and the kids and the kids of other parents. He was worried that they would use one of his kids or someone else kid as a hostage.
And his fear was about to come true as the robbers were chatting of using the little girl next to him. Mike knew that if no one does something soon then the life of an innocent child would be killed and he didn't want to see or let his kids see someone else kid die. 

So encouraging himself up Mike gives his wife possibly the last look in the eye, grabs her hand and told her "everything is gonna be okay." Then looks at the two robbers and waits for an opportunity to strike preferably one of them when they are not together. So while he waited for the chance to appear he turn to the dad of the little girl told him the plan he had in mind. 

The man thought that Mike must be going crazy but then was told of the robbers plan to use his daughter as a hostage an he quickly changes his attitude and agreed to help. And as they were talking and waiting for that chance it appeared itself when one of them had to go to the restroom. 

It was a now or never moment so when they saw the chance both Mike and the other man looked at each other and nodded. They crawl their way as silently and quickly as they possibly can to the robber and attack him, Mike tries to do a neck holding choke on the robber from behind that was yawning. While the other dude went to the front of the robber and punched him in the chest which knock him faster, it only took two punches to knock the robber out cold. 

Ones they knock the robber down they got everyone to crawl out of the bank except Mike and the other dude as they had to stay at the back to help an old man get up to get him out. As the trio were making their way to the exit the other robber came out of the restroom just in time to see all the hostages except the trio that era making their way to the exit. 

The robber yells at them to stop while trying to get his gun out of the gun holster, Mike turns to looks at the other robber that screamed at them. He notices that the robber is having to get his gun out of his holster but also notices that at the speed, they are going they will never make it out before the robber manages to get his gun out of his holster. 

He tells the other dude to get the old man out, before turning around and running as fast as he can straight to the robber to tackle him to the ground. The robber before being tackle manage to get the gun out of its holder but just as he was able to point the gun at them. He got tackled to the floor and drops the gun which slide away from them.

It turned out that cutting trees was not an easy task. Although he understood that he needed to aim the axe at the same place, the axe always landed on the tree trunk slantingly. There were a few times that he did not even hit the tree and almost threw out of the axe. Even if he hit the place he aimed, the impact force was not a joke either. In the beginning, it was all right. After chopping the tree for a few times, the palm of his hands became red and swollen.

The old village chief constantly shook his head while looking at Zhou Yu. Kids from cities were indeed very weak. Just a little tree would make him grimace. If the kids from the old days were as useless as him, a brutal beating was bound to happen once they return home. But fortunately, the kid seemed to be fine. Otherwise, he really did not know how to explain it to Zhou Hong. Although he had promised to take care of the kid, he did not know the kid had a mental problem. Though it was not his problem, he still felt sorry for Zhou Yu's parents.

After chopping the tree for a while, Zhou Yu finally got the tree down, but it was not over yet. He had to dig the roots out as well. Luckily, the old village chief also came to help him to remove the soil, sharing a large part of the work. He eventually held onto the end.

The entire morning just passed away like that, and Zhou Yu, who had never done such heavy work, was laying on the ground, panting. He couldn't get up for a long time. The old village chief shook his head again, then he went to put the tree on the back of a tricycle alone. Only until Zhou Yu finally regained his strength did he help to push the tricycle back to the village.

Originally he wanted to give some money to the old village chief, however, the old village chief insisted that he did not want it. Before he left with his empty tricycle, he reminded Zhou Yu once again that if he wanted to cut any trees next time, came to look for him, he also needed some people to help him to sort out his fruit forest.

Next time? Having done it just once, it already made him feel like he had lost half of his HP. If he needed to do it a few more times, he needed to at least prepare a healer in his team.

After removing all the branches of the pine tree, Zhou Yu thought that he needed to at least dry the tree trunk before he could use it as raw materials. However, the carpenter beaver did not think so. It just directly handed Zhou Yu an "ordinary saw" and asked him to follow its instructions to cut the tree trunk with the saw.

The section that was cut off had a two-dimensional text floating above it: "the rough material of a chess board," And what was strange about it, was that the material was already dried up and ready for use.

After the chess board was finished, the carpenter beaver was holding the chess pieces its hands, trying to get a good feeling of them, but through the real eyes, he could not see the piece moving, they were just lying in the box.

It was actually better this way. He did not need to worry about being seen by other people when they play the chess. Otherwise, it would only freak people out.

After the chessboard was built, the beaver's carpenter's heart was on fire. Probably it had not built anything for many years, its passion suddenly erupted like a volcano. It intended to continue to build a pavilion for playing the chess. Originally, the pavilion was intended to be placed on a small pond, but the small pond did not have any water inside, so it could only be temporarily placed under the banyan tree.

Meng Fan didn't know much Japanese, but he could read most of the words on the business card Goro Takahashi gave him. Mr. Takahashi was an editor at Kodansha Comics. Given the style of the business card, he wasn't an average editor either.
This was a pleasant surprise for Meng Fan!
Before and after he was reborn, his sisters sponsored him with many gifts on this trip. Before the rebirth, he was most interested in CV concerts and "meet and greets." Now, he was more interested in visiting Shueisha Comics and meeting the comic artist Eiichiro Oda.
Of course, before the rebirth, he also loved manga and would have liked to visit Shueisha Comics and meet Eiichiro Oda. The visit, however, would just have been a regular visit.

The publisher with the longest history, Kodansha Comics, is regarded as the boss of publishers (not just comics) in Japan. It has serialized "Attack on Titan,""GetBackers,""Fairy Tail,""Initial D,""Legend of the Dragon's Son,""Vagabond,""Ghost in the Shell,""The Three-Eyed One,""SM,""Card Captor,""The Tales of Genji,""Parasyte," and other well-known mangas.
Shogakukan Comics is a publisher known for comics for kids and teens.
As one of the largest comprehensive publishers in Japan, Shogakukan Comics focused on elementary school students as its audience early on. Based on the names of its comics, it's obvious that it has published many children's classics, some of which had even mesmerized grown ups, including: "Case Closed,""Pokémon,""Doraemon,""Urusei Yatsura,""Ranma ½,""Inuyasha," and many more.
Shueisha Comics is a publisher with some of the most talented comic artists in the industry.
Shueisha Comics publishes many comic magazines for teens, the most well-known of which is Weekly Shōnen Jump, which has the highest circulation in Japan's serialized comics. The magazine has released plenty of hits such as "One Piece,""Naruto,""Bleach,""Gin Tama,""Dragon Ball,""Yu-Gi-Oh!""Saint Seiya,""Slam Dunk,""Chibi Maruko-chan,""Food Wars!" and so on.
Other comic houses within Shueisha Comics have released legendary comics including: "To Love Ru,""One Punch Man,""Tokyo Ghoul,""The Prince of Tennis,""NANA," and more.
The number of comic classics published and serialized by Shueisha Comics is simply countless.
Shueisha Comics was founded last among the three legendary publishers. In the beginning, it was an entertainment magazine under Shogakukan Comics; now, it holds its own in the industry.
Most comic artists hope to have a chance to serialize their work in a Shueisha Comics magazine, including many Chinese comic artists, Meng Fan among them. This is true despite the shrinking comics market in Japan in recent years.　　
This is just like how, for most actors, their dream is to be a movie star in Hollywood — including most Chinese actors such as Meng Caiwei — even though China is now the world's largest movie market.
That's not to say that without being serialized in Japan or entering Hollywood, one would give up on the Chinese market.
Meng Fan put away the business card, his face showing happiness. He smiled at Goro Takahashi. "To be honest, I'm a college student majoring in comics. I actually have a series right now. One of my goals for this trip has to do with comics. I can't believe I get to meet one of the trailblazers of the industry today, I'm so honored."
Goro Takahashi looked surprised after he heard the translation from En'en's dad. The reason he introduced himself: young people like Meng Fan were usually comic fans, so he figured maybe he could thank Meng Fan in this way. He had no idea Meng Fan was studying comics and a comic artist as well.
After Goro Takahashi shook hands again with Meng Fan, he said, "M-san, please, allow me to take you on a tour of Kodansha Comics." 
"Absolutely. It would be my honor."
The two of them exchanged their contact information and made a date to meet again.
As he walked out, Meng Fan received at least fifty more business cards!
There were maybe even more than fifty, as they all came from the passengers on the flight, mixed in with numbers from several flight attendants.
While people knew it was unlikely Meng Fan would keep in touch with them, they clamored to leave him their contact information. It wasn't because they wanted to copy others, they just really wanted to befriend a legendary person like Meng Fan.
Based on the names on the business cards, most of them were Japanese, some were expats in Japan, and a few were Chinese. It was not an exaggeration to say that if Meng Fan had thick skin, he could eat and play for free for the next three to six months in Japan. He would have a great time too, since people traveling from Singapore to Japan were usually pretty successful.
Just like En'en's dad, after Meng Fan chatted with him after they got in the car leaving the airport, he learned the older man dealt in real estate, red wine, and soy sauce, but he wasn't a real estate developer.
The biggest coincidence was when Meng Fan realized they were from Hangzhou, too. He almost swore when he heard their home was near his school!
It was a good thing they weren't from the same district, just a nearby one; otherwise, it would be too much of a coincidence. 
When En'en learned Meng Fan studied near her house, she was even more excited. She wanted to go back to China with him, leaving her parents chagrined.
When their car entered the financial district of Otemachi, it stopped briefly at the Aman Kyoto Hotel, part of Otemachi-Tower.
Meng Fan and En'en made sure to meet again, then he left under En'en's reluctant gaze, carrying his suitcase.
The Aman Kyoto Hotel wasn't an entire building; it was in fact located on the top six floors of the Otemachi-Tower. The hotel lobby was on the 33rd floor, making the hotel rooms even higher. Because of this, the Aman Kyoto Hotel was known as "a luxury above the city."
As soon as Meng Fan entered the elevator, his phone rang. It was from Wu Tong.
"Are you in Japan?"
"Yes, I just got to the hotel."
"How long are you staying?"
"Two or three days?"
"You're not coming back earlier?"
"If I got everything done with the manga, I would go back earlier. Why, you miss me or worry about me?"
"So you do know!"
Wu Tong did sound a little displeased, but it was mostly worrying. Then she said, "Seventh Bro is taking his team to Kyoto today. When he gets there, you can head out and have him follow you, or have someone follow you."


To reward Meng Fan for his bravery before his heroic death, the cosmos rewarded him with a 'system', sending him back in time to three months ago, alive.

Hazel had fun listening to Eva go on. She was a very humorous storyteller; as a writer it must come with the territory. 
She had never met anyone like her but she supposed it was her own limited experience. Having only ever lived in two fairly close areas of the country she hadn't realized how different life could be for people in other states. Georgia seemed almost like another planet. 
After a while, when she realized she hadn't contributed enough, Hazel told stories about life as a starving artist and all of the things she had done to try and earn a paycheck over the years. It was a natural thing to do once the topic switched to the woes of crazy customers at Eva's job. 
She honestly couldn't remember the last time she talked to someone other than Will like this. It was actually kind of fun. 
They had to go to bed early to have a staff meeting with higher ups from the novel and comic app about what to expect from the convention, which was oddly disappointing. Hazel hadn't wanted the conversation to end. 
As promised, she called Will while Eva was in the shower, stepping out onto the terrace for privacy. 
"I have to know…why did she choose that screen name?" he asked without preamble after picking up. "I've been wondering all day."
Hazel chuckled. "Apparently it's from a kids' movie from the early 2000s. We might have been in the hospital when it came out. I never saw it. Did you ever watch any of the Shrek movies?"
"Nope," Will said popping the 'p.' "My childhood was just as devoid of television as yours was. Pretty sure the first one came out when we were in the hospital."
That made sense. She didn't know anything about his life before the hospital other than that his father had some sort of mental illness. Had he watched kids' movies and TV shows then? Hazel had but she could hardly remember them at this point. 
Was it normal for people to quote movies? She was pretty out of touch with things other people her age liked and always had been. She wasn't into anything cool when she was younger and she didn't understand internet culture like memes at all now. 
Hazel knew an awful lot about how the natural world worked but pop culture simply didn't appeal to her. The convention she went to back in Salt Lake had been weird and she was willing to bet the one tomorrow would be about the same. 
"I know very little about what was popular in our generation," she sighed. "Unlike me, Eva seems to be drowning in pop culture. But she's a very entertaining storyteller. Sort of makes me wish I had a sister too."
Will went quiet for a moment after that. She wasn't sure what he was thinking but eventually he changed the subject by asking about the itinerary for tomorrow. 
She told him about the plan to meet with the people hosting the panel before they all headed over to the convention and he listened intently. He had never been to a convention before so he didn't know how these things worked. 
Hazel wrapped up the call when she saw Eva had exited the bathroom and was drying her hair with a towel. She should shower and go to bed too. After being on the plane she felt a little gross. 
"I'll keep you updated about what happens tomorrow," she assured him. "Sleep well. I love you."
"I love you too but I can guarantee I won't sleep well without you here," Will replied. 
She shook her head with a smile after hanging up. Of course he wouldn't. He had gotten used to using her as a teddy bear so trying to sleep without that would feel off. 
Admittedly, Hazel had a hard time falling asleep without him too. She was used to being held and listening to her husband's calm and even breathing. He had been right earlier. She did miss him already.

At the meeting the following morning they met the representatives from the site tasked with taking care of them and two other author/artist duos who would also be on the panel. Hazel was still half asleep from her restless night but the doughnuts and coffee helped a little. 
Paulina Fairbanks, one of the representatives, went on about what was and was not appropriate for the panel and what the site expected from them. The panel was meant to create interest in the site so more people would join and pay to read. 
The panelists weren't allowed to talk about anything from their personal lives or speak disparagingly about the platform they worked through. They were allowed to say what was difficult about the collaboration process between author and artist but had to be discreet. 
The app had released multiple chapters at once of all three comics whose collaborators were being featured today as a way to generate interest for the panel. That was why Hazel had nearly worked herself to death over the past month and a half. 
She wasn't feeling all that generous toward the site right now but she would follow the rules. They were paying for her to be here after all. And providing these delicious doughnuts. 
Paulina also wanted to double check the spellings of everyone's names for the name cards that would sit in front of them at the panel. Each one would say the person's name, their screen name, which comic they worked on, and whether they were the artist or the author. 
All of the featured comics were in the fantasy genre, which is why they were chosen for this convention. One was about living as an outcast without superpowers in a powered up society. The other revolved around a young dragonborn searching for the rest of its kind, which was believed to be extinct. 
Hazel eyed the other people present. To her surprise, most of them were women. Xander Warren, the author of the dragonborn novel, and Tyler Gill, the artist for the superpower comic, were the only men present. 
There had been a lot less male art majors at her school so that made at least a little sense…but wasn't the world of novels primarily dominated by men? Maybe it was only the super famous ones.

“I’ll marry anyone who will take me!” Hazel declared loudly. “I don’t need love!”

“Get down!” Will hissed. “You don’t know what kind of people are lurking around in here! Talking like that might get you killed!”

Hazel Dixon thought she was putting her troubled past behind her. But when the person she thought she trusted most betrays her, she loses her head and proposes to an entire bar full of strangers.

Sure, the job payed well, but something was always missing.

So when he saw a devil summoning ritual in the dusty corners of the city library, he didn't hesitate to try it out, this was his chance for greatness. 

'Finally, my time has come. Even if I have to sell my soul  will ask for infinite superpowers and will become the overlord of this puny planet - muahaaaaaa"

Right in the middle of the pentagram was a potato with two horns and even a tail with an arrow at the end. It had two googly eyes and one big mouth with creepy teeth.

It looked as if it had just come out of a cheap cartoon show or comic strip.
