"Kodansha Comics?"
Meng Fan didn't know much Japanese, but he could read most of the words on the business card Goro Takahashi gave him. Mr. Takahashi was an editor at Kodansha Comics. Given the style of the business card, he wasn't an average editor either.
This was a pleasant surprise for Meng Fan!
Before and after he was reborn, his sisters sponsored him with many gifts on this trip. Before the rebirth, he was most interested in CV concerts and "meet and greets." Now, he was more interested in visiting Shueisha Comics and meeting the comic artist Eiichiro Oda.
Of course, before the rebirth, he also loved manga and would have liked to visit Shueisha Comics and meet Eiichiro Oda. The visit, however, would just have been a regular visit.
Now, the purpose of his visit would be different.
If he was rewriting his life, what would he need?
Manga would undoubtedly be a big part of his new life!
He didn't realize one of the hostages was an editor, and a senior one at that, from a comics publisher. This was fantastic news for Meng Fan.
Perhaps it was Good Luck +1 in effect? It was a big coincidence.
Kodansha Comics was one of Japan's three largest comic publishers. The other two are Shueisha Comics and Shogakukan Comics. Together, the three manga publishers are known as the Gosanke.
Most of the Japanese comics popular with fans worldwide came from these three manga publishers.
Kodansha Comics is known as an advancing giant in the industry.
The publisher with the longest history, Kodansha Comics, is regarded as the boss of publishers (not just comics) in Japan. It has serialized "Attack on Titan,""GetBackers,""Fairy Tail,""Initial D,""Legend of the Dragon's Son,""Vagabond,""Ghost in the Shell,""The Three-Eyed One,""SM,""Card Captor,""The Tales of Genji,""Parasyte," and other well-known mangas.
Shogakukan Comics is a publisher known for comics for kids and teens.
As one of the largest comprehensive publishers in Japan, Shogakukan Comics focused on elementary school students as its audience early on. Based on the names of its comics, it's obvious that it has published many children's classics, some of which had even mesmerized grown ups, including: "Case Closed,""Pokémon,""Doraemon,""Urusei Yatsura,""Ranma ½,""Inuyasha," and many more.
Shueisha Comics is a publisher with some of the most talented comic artists in the industry.
Shueisha Comics publishes many comic magazines for teens, the most well-known of which is Weekly Shōnen Jump, which has the highest circulation in Japan's serialized comics. The magazine has released plenty of hits such as "One Piece,""Naruto,""Bleach,""Gin Tama,""Dragon Ball,""Yu-Gi-Oh!""Saint Seiya,""Slam Dunk,""Chibi Maruko-chan,""Food Wars!" and so on.
Other comic houses within Shueisha Comics have released legendary comics including: "To Love Ru,""One Punch Man,""Tokyo Ghoul,""The Prince of Tennis,""NANA," and more.
The number of comic classics published and serialized by Shueisha Comics is simply countless.
Shueisha Comics was founded last among the three legendary publishers. In the beginning, it was an entertainment magazine under Shogakukan Comics; now, it holds its own in the industry.
Most comic artists hope to have a chance to serialize their work in a Shueisha Comics magazine, including many Chinese comic artists, Meng Fan among them. This is true despite the shrinking comics market in Japan in recent years.　　
This is just like how, for most actors, their dream is to be a movie star in Hollywood — including most Chinese actors such as Meng Caiwei — even though China is now the world's largest movie market.
That's not to say that without being serialized in Japan or entering Hollywood, one would give up on the Chinese market.
Meng Fan put away the business card, his face showing happiness. He smiled at Goro Takahashi. "To be honest, I'm a college student majoring in comics. I actually have a series right now. One of my goals for this trip has to do with comics. I can't believe I get to meet one of the trailblazers of the industry today, I'm so honored."
Goro Takahashi looked surprised after he heard the translation from En'en's dad. The reason he introduced himself: young people like Meng Fan were usually comic fans, so he figured maybe he could thank Meng Fan in this way. He had no idea Meng Fan was studying comics and a comic artist as well.
After Goro Takahashi shook hands again with Meng Fan, he said, "M-san, please, allow me to take you on a tour of Kodansha Comics." 
"Absolutely. It would be my honor."
The two of them exchanged their contact information and made a date to meet again.
As he walked out, Meng Fan received at least fifty more business cards!
There were maybe even more than fifty, as they all came from the passengers on the flight, mixed in with numbers from several flight attendants.
While people knew it was unlikely Meng Fan would keep in touch with them, they clamored to leave him their contact information. It wasn't because they wanted to copy others, they just really wanted to befriend a legendary person like Meng Fan.
Based on the names on the business cards, most of them were Japanese, some were expats in Japan, and a few were Chinese. It was not an exaggeration to say that if Meng Fan had thick skin, he could eat and play for free for the next three to six months in Japan. He would have a great time too, since people traveling from Singapore to Japan were usually pretty successful.
Just like En'en's dad, after Meng Fan chatted with him after they got in the car leaving the airport, he learned the older man dealt in real estate, red wine, and soy sauce, but he wasn't a real estate developer.
The biggest coincidence was when Meng Fan realized they were from Hangzhou, too. He almost swore when he heard their home was near his school!
It was a good thing they weren't from the same district, just a nearby one; otherwise, it would be too much of a coincidence. 
When En'en learned Meng Fan studied near her house, she was even more excited. She wanted to go back to China with him, leaving her parents chagrined.
When their car entered the financial district of Otemachi, it stopped briefly at the Aman Kyoto Hotel, part of Otemachi-Tower.
Meng Fan and En'en made sure to meet again, then he left under En'en's reluctant gaze, carrying his suitcase.
The Aman Kyoto Hotel wasn't an entire building; it was in fact located on the top six floors of the Otemachi-Tower. The hotel lobby was on the 33rd floor, making the hotel rooms even higher. Because of this, the Aman Kyoto Hotel was known as "a luxury above the city."
As soon as Meng Fan entered the elevator, his phone rang. It was from Wu Tong.
"Are you in Japan?"
"Yes, I just got to the hotel."
"How long are you staying?"
"Two or three days?"
"You're not coming back earlier?"
"If I got everything done with the manga, I would go back earlier. Why, you miss me or worry about me?"
"So you do know!"
Wu Tong did sound a little displeased, but it was mostly worrying. Then she said, "Seventh Bro is taking his team to Kyoto today. When he gets there, you can head out and have him follow you, or have someone follow you."


To reward Meng Fan for his bravery before his heroic death, the cosmos rewarded him with a 'system', sending him back in time to three months ago, alive.

Boeuf bourguignon.
According to the plot of Food Wars, the main protagonist, Yukihira Soma, made Yukihira's red wine stewed beef in the first class at Togetsu. Teacher Roland Chapel who never smiled highly commended him.
In fact, it was home cooking in France.
In the fixed recipe, boeuf bourguignon had many ways to cook depending on the chef's skills.
Could Xia Yu make boeuf bourguignon?
If it was other Western food, it might be a big problem for him.
However, Xia Yu, as a foodie with a hands-on ability, naturally found the recipe in the appendix of the comic and worked hard for a long time for boeuf bourguignon when 'Food Wars' was popular at the time.

After washing his hands and wearing an apron and a kitchen hat, Xia Yu had completed a chef's basic etiquette. He looked at the kitchen counter of the western restaurant. 
Two large pieces of thawed beef. This was the main ingredient. 
"Beef shoulder meat, excellent quality, frozen for 8 hours and 56 minutes, fresh." 
Xia Yu touched beef with his hands, the Chef God System gave the ingredients identification information. It was green quality. 
"Beef shoulder? Yes, the meat in this position is finer in fibre and tastes smooth and tender. It is suitable for stewing, roasting, braising and firing curry," Xia Yu murmured to himself and looked at other ingredients. "I can start!"

The two kitchen hands and Head Chef Kasumigaoka only saw the silver light flashing by, and the beef on the chopping board did not seem to change at all.

Next, he threw bacon strips of equal size into the pot and added water to cook. Xia Yu turned on the gas stove and glanced at it, and then turned back and said, "Help me get kitchen paper..."
Head Chef Kasumigaoka quickly handed him the roll of kitchen paper.
Moisture was taboo in beef dishes. The cut beef pieces must be squeezed dry. So, kitchen paper came in handy. Xia Yu's expression was serious. He constantly pulled out the kitchen paper, wrapped the pieces of beef, and squeezed repeatedly.
But, after all, one person couldn't handle the ingredients prepared for six people, so Xia Yu glanced at Head Chef Kasumigaoka next to him and the two other young kitchen hands. "Help me together!"
After the beef was drained, there were still many side dishes on the kitchen counter that had not been processed such as carrots, mushrooms, and parsley. Xia Yu handed over the work of making side dishes to Chef Kasumigaoka. Xia Yu took the pan and hot pot to start frying the bacon pieces after adding olive oil.
The bacon was fried brown, and Xia Yu silently counted the time of frying, down to the seconds.
He took the bacon out. There was leftover lard in the pan. The fire of the gas stove was still burning. Xia Yu skilfully grabbed pieces of dehydrated beef with the kitchenware and put them in the pan to fry.
With deep-fried sizzling sounds, Xia Yu tumbled the beef pieces, making every side of the beef a beautiful dark brown. 
When it turned to dark brown, it meant that it was ready to go. 
Xia Yu put aside the fried beef and reached out to the kitchen counter with his hands. "Chopped carrots and big onions!" 
A young kitchen hand hurriedly handed over the vegetable basket. 
There was still some oil left in the wok, so there was no need to add oil. Xia Yu tilted the vegetable basket and at the same time, he added carrots and large onions into the pan to stir fry. It couldn't be overcooked. When the vegetables were coated in golden oil, he could take them out of the pot.
Xia Yu poured the carrots and large onions into the prepared iron saucepan, followed by the dark brown beef, salt and black pepper. The specific dosage depended on the chef's grasp. 
The two kitchen hands opened their eyes wide. "Hey, is it really okay for him to put salt and pepper like this?" A kitchen hand was distraught when he saw Xia Yu like that. 
"I think there is no problem!" His companion looked at Xia Yu's sweaty back, but he was full of admiration and envy. "Is he a student of Togetsu? He is surely a talented person..."
He thought about how he had learned cooking for a few years. He was still a kitchen hand, and he could not cook by himself. The young man bowed his head and clenched his fists in disbelief.
After salt and pepper, there was a more important process.
Flour!
Xia Yu grabbed a handful of flour and carefully sprinkled the beef and ingredients in the pot, forming a white batter to lock the moisture of the beef and increase the viscosity of the soup.
You didn't need much flour. He just sprinkled a layer lightly. The next step was to stir.
Drip!
The oven had been preheated to about 230 degrees. The iron pan was uncovered. Put it in the oven and heat it for 4 minutes. Then take out the flour and bake it for another 4 minutes.
He took the cast iron pan out of the oven for the second time, and a strong fragrance filled the kitchen.
But the cooking process had not been completed.

Xia Yu made a wish to eat until he vomited. And this particular wish brought him to a completely strange spirit world which was full of cuisines.

Winter break was only a few days away now, and this knowledge, coupled with the thought that everyone would be moving up a grade, increased the excitement in the classroom. The children were excited for the start of another break, while teachers dreaded the soon-to-come increase in paperwork. Diligent teachers would have already finished editing last year's student records and writing up student evaluations and progress reports, but most usually ended up procrastinating until the end of the year, resulting in a mountain of paperwork that now included everything that normally came with, well, the end of the year. Student records, after all, pertained to every student in the school, and there was even more paperwork involved for students graduating or moving up a grade. The decreased number of students meant that more experienced teachers made quick work of their papers, freeing enough time for them to plan out their break, but the others were left to slave away day and night trying to balance lesson plans and paperwork.

The teacher in charge of Class 1-3 was no different, and dark circles had settled under her eyes for quite a few days now. Nevertheless, she had still spend last evening sitting in her living room to watch TV, disregarding her pile of laundry and increasing paperwork, all because one of her own students, the school's celebrity and her own little pain in the neck, was making an appearance, all thanks to her tip to the broadcasting station. She felt almost obligated to watch, and honestly, she relished the opportunity to rest her tired mind and body. Even more honestly, she felt much too lazy to do anything.

Still, sitting there in front of the TV, waiting for the program to start, she felt a bit like some sort of mastermind, and she felt good knowing that this was her student. Perhaps all her colleagues or even parents would come to her tomorrow to ask all sorts of questions about her teaching methods, about how she taught a prodigy, or how prodigies studied. Maybe they'll even ask about what it's like to deal with a prodigies and all the pros and cons.

The program lasted 50 minutes, with Lucid appearing in a twenty minute clip. And yet, the more Hee Yeon watched, the more confused she felt. This wasn't the child she knew. The whole time, she mumbled to herself, "He's not like that. He's much more..." and scratched her head. The Lucid she knew was much more vibrant, more clever, and asked questions that she could never have imagined. He displayed a genius that had baffled her, and yet onscreen, he appeared to be no different from any smart kid on the block. After being introduced as a first grader with a keen interest in physics, he had passed a preliminary test with flying colors, which was amazing, yes. But then the IQ test results were revealed, and he had scored lower than most other children who were labeled as prodigies. Then they cut to a science high school teacher explaining some theories, and then went on to show Lucid being excited about an experiment. Hee Yeon knew that he was excited over the precise numbers and calculations, but the audience had no way of knowing that, and simply thought the experiment must have looked cool to a child his age. All in all, the program had done nothing to convey just how amazing and extraordinary Lucid was.

The science teacher had gone on to end the interview with a rather puzzled look.

"It's normal for elementary school children to be curious about their surroundings and and to want to learn more about science." he had said.

But it wasn't normal at all! He was the only one in Hee Yeon's class to even care about anything like that!

"But it's wonderful to see this curiosity being taken to the next level, to the point that he would take on more advanced topics in an effort to lean more about what he wants to know. That's not that common. The fact that he's still in elementary school is really quite a surprise." The interview continued.

But he wasn't just any elementary schooler! He's in first grade! He only started receiving education last year!

"Given his passion and willingness to learn, I'm sure we can expect great things from him. I, for one, am rooting for him."

Why won't they just admit that he's a genius? That he was amazing, a true marvel, and that everyone as a society should help him prosper??

Hee Yeon quickly grew bored. Perhaps her expectations had been too high, or perhaps she had mistakenly thought that she knew more about him that she actually did. The program ended like that, on a very, very boring note, and Hee Yeon found herself browsing through the program's forums, eager to see if others thought the same way.

"Is that the library kid from social media? He's cute."
"Is he mixed? Look at his nose. Damn."
"His eye color looks really strange. Is it because of the lights? Or am I going crazy?"
"A child who's into physics? That's sorta boring as a topic, isn't it? And today's show seemed really forced. Stop pushing kids to fit your definition of a prodigy."
"Do elementary schoolers really not know linear equations? Like, is he really the only one?"

Hee Yeon hadn't thought of it before, since she had grown accustomed to it, but it seemed that people were more interested in Lucid's looks. Most of the posts were about how good-looking he was, and the few posts that discussed his intelligence all seemed to agree that he didn't qualify as a prodigy.

In actuality, there weren't that many posts to begin with. Had the show failed to attract people's attention? Hee Yeon regretted her decision to watch it in the first place. She could have gotten so much done. Like her laundry, for example. Sighing to herself, she sat at her desk, once again focusing on her paperwork.

"Come on, Jang. We have a lot more children lined up. Let's get ready for the next episode."
"We just have to make sure the next episode is better. Don't let it get to you, and don't be so disappointed."
"Views aren't everything. We did well to show the issues with today's education system. It's alright. Don't sweat it."

The last to visit him had been Nayeon, the youngest writer. She looked like she was about to cry, apologizing with a trembling voice. They had avoided hitting the lowest views since the birth of the program, "Looking for Prodigies," but when compared to last week's episode of a child figuring out car models simply from the sound of the brakes and helping the police identify stolen cars, the views had dropped by 4%.

"You have nothing to apologize for." said Jang reassuringly. "It's my fault for not capturing it right."

Of course, their program relied much more on the topic and story themselves than on presentation, but that didn't mean that he could blame Nayeon for the episode flopping. If they had focused on his looks in the first place, the views would have been much higher, so in the end, it really had been an issue of presentation. Jang knew this was a reach, and he felt angry at how unfair this all was, but he also knew that it couldn't be helped. With the end of the year approaching, he would have to move mountains to schedule another shoot, and it was difficult to clean this mess up, as no one had predicted this would happen. Because it had been so unexpected, though, Jang had been able to get out of this without so much as a reprimand from the higher ups. That didn't make him feel any better though, and he couldn't bring himself to leave the editing room.

"Sir, I got it."
"Good. So, this is the footage?"

A man, roughly in his early 50's, received a file and a USB from his secretary.

"Yes, sir. We stopped it from going on air, in exchange for an advertisement. It's taken care of." The secretary reported, pushing up his gold-framed glasses. Given the nature of their product, airing an advertisement during a time where their main demographic was busy was nothing short of throwing money in the wind. Still, it was a necessary cost in order to carry out more secret dealings with broadcasting stations. This time was no different. The footage in question would have seriously hurt the company's reputation, so buying it out was a great gain for them. For the station, they clipped out a less than satisfactory video in exchange for an ad, resulting in a great gain there, as well. That Jang wouldn't be penalized for the drop in views was just a bonus.

"Did you get it analyzed?"
"Yes, sir. We've already conducted the first round of testing, comparing that footage to the video we got from the high school."
"First round?" the man asked, looking up at his secretary from the pile of documents in the file.
"I mean, the report was baffling for us all, sir. It was a general consensus that one analysis wouldn't be enough to fully comprehend the situation."
"So?"
"We will conduct more in-depth analyses and experiments. Our research team is on it, sir."
"What happens if the footage is real?"
"The experiment was only conducted three times, so the validity of the results is dubious at best. But if we were to assume they are accurate... Then whatever they used is seven times more effective than our product, sir."
"Seven times..."
"If even a second of that footage had been broadcasted, it would have caused enough uproar to flip our entire industry around."
"That data, though... It can't possibly be real, can it?"
"No, sir. Even our researchers are doubting it. We tested all the products they used even before the episode aired, and it just isn't plausible that such results would pop up all of a sudden. But we can't dismiss it, either. We have a few people determined that the footage is unaltered and real."
"..."

The secretary cleared his throat and straightened up a bit.

"For now, we should leave it to our researchers. I will report their findings as soon as we get more information."
"Do they know?"
"The other company? No, sir. It's a stroke of luck that we found out about it in the first place. Remember Director Park's son? He was there during the experiment, and he contacted us as soon as he realized something was off."
"I'll have to meet up with him, have a drink or something." the man grumbled, tapping the USB against the desk as he thought. "Oh, and figure something out for a scholarship. And tell those researchers that I want results quick."

So many requests, and all over the place, too. The secretary bowed his head in understanding and left the room.

Winter break brought along another exciting event: Christmas. The institute was alight with decorations and fairy lights, having been set up as early as the beginning of December. The small, decorative trees were covered in lights, and the hallways inside were lined with paper flowers and garlands. All in all, Christmas was no different in the institute than in any other part of the city. The many volunteers and welfare facilities helped set up a wonderful Christmas spirit, and the children were also spending their days in a flurry of excitement and anticipation for their presents and other fun events.

Lucid was also enjoying himself. The TV program had renewed his interest in physics, and he was now looking forward to studying more in-depth about it. Still, the filming itself had been a dull affair. He found it much too inefficient, what with having to go from place to place and wait around for this and that. If only he had spent that time reading, then he could have at least learned new things.

But something even more exciting than all that had appeared at the institute.

"Whoa, look at that. So many!"
"Are there comic books here?"
"Ugh, only plaster face reads this stuff. Whatever."

A library opened inside the institute.

"In the worst scenario, the alien cat could put the players' data under surveillance to detect anomalies," Zhao Yao postulated. "The players with high profile and popularity would be investigated by the alien cat personally using his power of awareness."
"I have to use Plan B."
As a man with backup plans, Zhao Yao already thought of ways to accumulate energy for evolution if he was discovered by the alien cat.
Half an hour later, Zhao Yao used his new account and walked into the Beginner's Village. He transformed into a huge sprayer and sprayed on players in sight. He attracted a lot of attention.
"Am I the only one who feels…"
"There's no smoke without fire…"
"I'm just babbling, don't be too uptight."
After half an hour of accumulating the energy for evolution, Zhao Yao went offline to create a new account. He changed location in the material world and used the visor to enter Closers World.
After a person with Awareness Dimension's power intruded Closers World, Giggle strengthened the defenses of the games company and the server room. He also assigned his men to supervise the players' status. 
He was looking for IP addresses, anomalies in players count, teleportation occurrences and large number of players being kicked offline. 
Zhao Yao had considered these points so he changed his location in reality and changed his accounts. He acted like a normal player to attract attention and work for evolution.
Though it was slower, Giggle was unable to monitor small details like petty squabbles of players.
Zhao Yao changed his locations and accounts as he gathered the requirements for Diana's evolution.
A week went by and Giggles did not find traces of Zhao Yao in the game. Zhao Yao accumulated energy for the evolution gradually as he waited for the end of the month's accounting.
The only change was that there were more complaining in the game and discussion board.
"The players' web rage in the game had become more serious."
"Quarrels arising from newbies are increasing."
"I feel that there are more and more elementary students in the game."
Zhao Yao was waiting at home for the results of the end of month's accounting.

At the end of the month, Zhao Yao obtained 32 000 experience points from the supercats' completion of missions and the rewards for providing Michelin-starred cat meals. The Book's panel showed:

Later that night, he was standing at the french window of his bedroom. Kimura Kazuki gazed at the Tokyo Tower from afar and let out a sigh. It was good to be rich... All of a sudden, a greenish-black ghost face passed through his windows.
Kimura Kazuki turned his head rapidly with an expression of fear and panic. He shouted, "Who's there?"
Kimura Kazuki glanced twice and regained his composure. He did not think that Natsuna Yamanaka would come here so fast. It looked like she had a personal vendetta against beautiful women. He was only sending out his selfies to his "boyfriends" a moment ago, but he was actually trying to lure Natsuna Yamanaka out.
Indeed... Natsuna Yamanake was already searching for him in just less than an hour.
Even though Kimura Kazuki was sympathetic to Natsuna Yamanaka's plight, she should not become a ghost after her death and harm someone else.
While lost in thought, his eyes were fixated on the computer in her bedroom. The computer screen suddenly lit up. The whiteness of the light was as blurry as the old television and emitted a buzzing sound. It was horrifying in such a big bedroom. The next moment, the computer shone again, and he saw a big tree and a house on the computer screen. This made Kimura Kazuki had a flashback. This was Sato's house at Spirit District, which was also where Natsuna Yamanake was found dead...
As time passed, he could see that the ground underneath the tree was shaking gently.
Kimura Kazuki was speechless. Natsuna Yamanaka was actually emulating the classic scene from the movie, "The Ring." She was thinking of appearing out from the computer screen to scare him.
Moreover, Kimura Kazuki had to express emotions of fear to play along with her act.
Any normal individual involved in such a situation would probably be horrified and broken down. Even though "The Ring" was a movie, the movie alone had scared many people to death.
The emotions portrayed in a movie would be different than in reality.
Kimura Kazuki would play along with Natsuna Yamanaka. However, he still needed to confirm something.


Time travelling from the majestic era after the Recuperation of Reiki, he became Kimura Kazuki, a 16-year-old high school student in Japan, one year before the Reiki Recuperation.

Tentatively, he set out to hone himself to the bone, burning candles at both ends to stockpile resources in preparation for the imminent Recuperation of Reiki. His goal was to be many steps ahead of all humanity when the time comes.

However, it seemed like fate had decided to play a cruel trick on him.

One year later, the Recuperation of Reiki... did not happen as expected.

I have been awed by the mystery and the powers of the elements since I was a kid. I think I ought to give credit to all the anime cartoons that was available in our time, especially when it dominated the Philippine Primetime shows in the 90's. I also caught the Funny Komiks fever which is actually quite an integral part of my childhood as I've learned to read and associate the words just by looking at the pictures – all by myself and with my twin brother, KC. This culture pushed me to draw pictures and cartoon characters that led for me to be creative, ultimately finding out that I can make and invent stories of my own. 

As my skill advanced from the traditional stick figures, I needed a challenge and by the age of eight, I have started to make my own stories loosely based on the arena-type battles such as Dragonball Z, Pokemon, and Flame of Recca. We don't have much money then so we have to improvise to hone our craft. After the end of our school year, my twin brother and I used to pull the spring from my notebook and compile all the empty leaves to stitch 'em up together to form a thick notebook to make my cartoon stories – my very own comic book. We have made tons of it, usually strips of stories that ranged from ten to twenty pages at most, but by the end of my first year in highschool I finished a full length comic book story called "Pyrobot" – a robot created to protect the Earth similar to Combatron and Megaman. But this didn't make me happy though. The plot of the story is quite juvenile then, so I plotted a story – a serious one that touches topics of mystery and gives tales of adventures made by an entirely different civilization. That's when I conceptualized "The Omegatribe", which is the book's original title eleven years ago. I tried to plan it to fruition but then school made me extremely busy, it forced me to just put a pin on that project. 

Graduation came fast which made me happy for a bit thinking I could start the project in hiatus but lo and behold, college revealed to be my enemy too. I tried drawing slides and planned to color it in the computer by scanning it and rendering it on Photoshop but all was in vain as this takes too long a time to continue. This project is going down the drain and I could feel the urge of giving up but luckily, God has given me a window. He led me to our college publication, The Business Access Magazine, and this gave me the necessary foundation to make me adept in putting my thoughts into words. After gaining my bachelor's degree in Management at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, I finally vowed to finish the story I started on 2003 and turn this comic book into a novel instead. On January 2009, I started to write it all up. It's quite hard at first as I have been writing it while taking another degree in accountancy at the University of the East. Also, the challenge is the research and plotting the story to make it complete. This ate time that it took three years for me to finish it and another year and a half to revisit the story: to create a time table, assign the time frame, and identify the lunar faces on each chapter. I have finished writing it on the same time I passed the board last year on May 2013. I have to thank God for this miracle as I couldn't have done it without his blessing, guidance, and inspiration. It's quite a challenging adventure, one that I am really thankful to experience.

When Bathala created the world, He made sure that the Earth will be safe from the Mortals: the Men and Women of the Earth. Their potential for evil has saddened Him deeply. He has to go away to create Paraiso but He needs to protect them from destroying themselves.

To make sure that life will prosper on Earth, He has blessed three righteous tribes and mandated them to protect the Fountain of Life from being corrupted. The Fountain seeds green life on Earth. Without the fountain, life will cease to exist.

The three tribes that are led by Nagozul, Yagisiv Haya, and Daomagar, left their villages and created their dominion on Bathala's three islands collectively known as The Holy Lands. Their purpose: "Protect the Fountain of Life at all costs." They have been true in following their holy edict and have proven themselves to become the Holy Sentinels of the Lands of Bathala. They have maintained the secrecy and the anonymity of the Holy Lands with perfection as life continued on Earth.

Tens of thousands of years later, the Kingdom of Nagozul has now grown arrogant and has disobeyed Bathala's mandate. An impending doom now shrouds the Holy Lands. Extinction of the mortal race is upon them and the fate of the world is at stake. It is up to the brave Holy Sentinels, the young Princes of Nagozul, to complete the mission and save the souls that are inhabiting the islands of God.

One moment a high school girl could be seen chasing after an adorable white bunny on school grounds, and the next second she was falling down a large rabbit hole, a terrifying scream ripping from the girl's throat as everything around her turned into a sparkle galaxy space full with color as if she was soaring through space. 
"Wait a minute...! What on Earth is going on?!" screamed the girl, who was suddenly engulfed in a bright, blinding light before everything went dark.
In the darkness of her subconscious, the girl heard voices calling out to her, voices that for some reason felt familiar to her despite this being her first time hearing them.
 Heavy eyelids opened themselves only to see a cute boy, between the ages of nine and ten, standing next to her bed, holding her hand. Seeing this unfamiliar face, the girl on the bed though to herself,
'Who's this cute boy? ...And why does he seem so familiar to me?'
"I can't believe that tyrant actually pushed you into the lake! If you weren't saved in time, you could've drowned!" ranted the teary-eyed boy, who was obviously upset about something.
Deciding to sit herself up, the girl did just that, only to feel that there was something different about her body. Looking down at her hands she noticed that they were smaller, not only that, but her body also felt as if it had shrunk.
Instantly the girl threw the covers off her body and ran to the nearest full-length mirror in the room. Her actions shocked those who were present and worriedly raced to her side. 
"Sister, what's wrong? Are you hurt somewhere?" fretfully asked the boy, though the girl paid him no mind, too stunned to even notice his concern.
In the reflection of the pearl-encrusted pink mirror there stared a girl between the ages of five and six, soft cinnamon brown tresses touching her waist. Eyes, the color of emeralds, displayed incredulity at the new situation she had just found herself in. 'Oh my god...'
The little girl's face blanched, raising her shaky pair of hands, cupping her chubby cheeks. 'I actually transmigrated into another world! So cliché!' She exclaimed before promptly passing out on the floor, causing all those in the room to panic once again.

"...aria... Maria... Maria!" 
Once again, large emerald eyes revealed themselves, something which brought relief to those in the room. Rushing to the bed where the girl lied was the same boy from last time and the girl noted that unlike herself, this boy had dark blonde hair but shared emerald eyes just like her own. Her eyes linger on the boy for a few seconds when suddenly memories begin filling her head, memories that most likely belonged to the original host of this body.
The memory that stuck out the most was that of a girl, the same one whose reflections she saw in the mirror, attending a party, and pestering another smaller boy who the original host seemed to be infatuated with.
It seems the boy in her memories got fed up with the girl constantly pestering and rashly pushed her into the lake nearby. The poor girl would have drowned if she wasn't saved in time.
'That jerk!' frowned the little girl on the bed. Seeing such an expression on his cute little sister's face, the boy once again reached for his sister's hands.
"Don't worry, Maria, your big-brother will make that crown prince pay for hurting you!" vowed the brave boy, who was clearly upset that someone dared harm his precious little sister. Despite hearing such brave words, Maria almost fell out of her bed in shock to hear the person from the memories she receives was actually a crown prince?!
'Stay calm! At least you're not dead.' Maria constantly told herself, placing a fake smile on her face, grateful that this host had such a caring big brother.
"Thank-you, big-brother, but there is no need to take revenge for me. It's best that we just forget about this situation. Besides, I was the one at fault." The girl on the bed smiled, unaware of how her reply shocked those in the room.
'Besides, it was the original host's fault for pestering a freaking crown prince! Jeez, that spoiled little girl reminds me of that annoying ojou-sama character from that reverse harem light novel I didn't get to finish reading.' 
Maira couldn't help but think back to one of the characters of the reverse harem story she was in the middle of reading before she got transported into this world.
The name of the light novel was called, A Fairytale Romance, set in a fantasy magical world, where those who have magic and nobility were sent to a well-renowned and prestigious school that taught students how to hone their magic and become outstanding individuals. 
The story started off with the heroine, the daughter of a baron, entering the middle school division of Diamond Academy. In the beginning, the heroine was registered as a light magic user and was hinted to be a member of some type of rare ancient race.
Of course, the story wouldn't be a reverse harem without extremely attractive guys who all fell in love with the heroine. Upon entering the school, the heroine encounters the male lead for the first time in a very cliche fashion scene, creating a bud that slowly bloomed into romance. 
Along the way, the crown prince wasn't the only one to fall in love with the heroine, but there were three others who fell under her charm.
Besides the crown prince, there were three other male characters who were introduced in the novel and came from influential noble families and were always lending a hand to the female lead whenever she was caught in trouble created by the long list of female villainesses who despised her. 
"It seems ojou-sama no longer has a fever,"
Maria was brought out of her thoughts when she felt a hand touch her forehead. Looking at who that hand belonged to, she saw a pretty girl in a short maid dress with short black hair and matching cat ears that stood on top of her head. 
"But just to be on the safe side, ojou-sama should try some of the medicine that the house doctor prescribed for her."
Standing on the opposite side of her bed, holding two blue tablets in the palm of her hand, was another pretty maid, yet this one had long white hair with matching cat ears on top of her head. Looking at the two maids, Maria was once again reminded of that same ojou-sama character from, A Fairytale Romance.
In the novel, there was a long list of villainous characters who tried to compete with the heroine to win the male lead's love. Yet there was one villainess that stood out and wasn't because she ruthlessly and vicious, but because she was an idiot, a comic relief character than an actual villainess.
Always at her side were two neko-maids, who always comforted her when one of her plans either backfired or caused the male lead to become angry with her.
After taking the pills, Maria searched the room and realized how big it was, filled with nice and girly pink furniture. Even the four-poster pink European bed she was lying on was huge. The type of room that belonged to a rich noble daughter who hailed from the upper-class of society.
 
'Seems I transmigrated into a rich girl,' Maria told herself when once again the door to her room was slammed opened as bursting into the room was a gorgeous busty beauty, who dashed over onto the bed and engulfed her small body in a tight warm hug.
"My darling little Maria! Are you okay? Don't worry, mommy will watch over you and make sure you get better!" tearfully proclaimed the gorgeous woman, who had long wavy cinnamon brown-hair that went past her waist and bright emerald eyes.
In the midst of her mind, Maria couldn't help but think. 'Wow, okaa-sama's got some big oppai!'
"Don't worry, my darling little Maria. Mommy and Daddy will get you justice! Tonight that crown prince went too far. How dare he do that to my daughter! You could've lost your life!" fussed her angry mother, whose emerald eyes screamed vengeance.
Smiling softly, Maria placed her hands on top of her mother's and said,
"Mother, please calm down. It was me who was at fault. I kept pestering the crown prince even though he doesn't like me. So it makes sense that he would get mad. Both of us are at fault, so let's just drop this matter. I do not wish to bring harm to anyone."
Once again, those in the room found themselves shocked, usually, their young lady would be bawling tears or throwing a tantrum. Meanwhile in the mind of Maria, 
'The dude already hates me, don't make it worse by trying to get revenge. I want to live peacefully in this world before I can find out how to get back home. Please, mom and big-bro don't make it hard on me.'
Both mother and son couldn't help but stare at the young girl on the bed, before sharing a look with each other, reaching some sort of understanding as they looked towards her again.
"Okay, if you don't want this matter brought up again then we won't bring it up." Her mother ran a reassuring hand through her daughter's cinnamon-brown tresses.
"You must not want to make things hard on yourself before entering the Elementary School Division at Diamond Academy. With the crown prince's attitude and reputation, he would no doubt try and bully you if we pressed harder on this matter. Don't worry, my little cub, Mommy will go talk to Daddy." 
Her mother smiled and kissed her forehead before leaving the room. 'W-Wait a minute, did she just say Diamond Academy? No way, I must be hearing things,' Maria tried to reassure herself that she heard wrong, only to have her brother speak up and crush all her hopes.
"Don't worry, lil sis, your big-brother will definitely protect you. I won't let anyone at Diamond Academy bully you."
Her brother smile was truly charming and could probably attract many noble girls and women, despite his young age. Yet Maria paid no mind, seeing how she was in the middle of a mental breakdown.
'Diamond Academy! The same name of the academy in, A Fairytale Romance...?!' Ignoring the maids and her brother who were in the room, Maria buried her face in her hands.
'Crap. I got transmigrated into, A Fairytale Romance... as the comic relief female villain. Life, you are too cruel!' mentally wept Maria.

One moment I'm chasing after a rabbit and the next, I'm falling down a rabbit hole! What the heck?! This ain't Alice in Wonderland?! Though as I opened my eyes, I soon found out that I was no longer in my original body and that somehow I transmigrated into the light novel, A Fairytale Romance. And that isn't all, the character whose body I transmigrated into... is none other than the minor stuck-up, arrogant, and selfless ojou-sama who was nothing more than a comic relief character. Life truly sucks...
