Time travelling from the majestic era after the Recuperation of Reiki, he became Kimura Kazuki, a 16-year-old high school student in Japan, one year before the Reiki Recuperation.

I have been awed by the mystery and the powers of the elements since I was a kid. I think I ought to give credit to all the anime cartoons that was available in our time, especially when it dominated the Philippine Primetime shows in the 90's. I also caught the Funny Komiks fever which is actually quite an integral part of my childhood as I've learned to read and associate the words just by looking at the pictures – all by myself and with my twin brother, KC. This culture pushed me to draw pictures and cartoon characters that led for me to be creative, ultimately finding out that I can make and invent stories of my own. 

As my skill advanced from the traditional stick figures, I needed a challenge and by the age of eight, I have started to make my own stories loosely based on the arena-type battles such as Dragonball Z, Pokemon, and Flame of Recca. We don't have much money then so we have to improvise to hone our craft. After the end of our school year, my twin brother and I used to pull the spring from my notebook and compile all the empty leaves to stitch 'em up together to form a thick notebook to make my cartoon stories – my very own comic book. We have made tons of it, usually strips of stories that ranged from ten to twenty pages at most, but by the end of my first year in highschool I finished a full length comic book story called "Pyrobot" – a robot created to protect the Earth similar to Combatron and Megaman. But this didn't make me happy though. The plot of the story is quite juvenile then, so I plotted a story – a serious one that touches topics of mystery and gives tales of adventures made by an entirely different civilization. That's when I conceptualized "The Omegatribe", which is the book's original title eleven years ago. I tried to plan it to fruition but then school made me extremely busy, it forced me to just put a pin on that project. 

Graduation came fast which made me happy for a bit thinking I could start the project in hiatus but lo and behold, college revealed to be my enemy too. I tried drawing slides and planned to color it in the computer by scanning it and rendering it on Photoshop but all was in vain as this takes too long a time to continue. This project is going down the drain and I could feel the urge of giving up but luckily, God has given me a window. He led me to our college publication, The Business Access Magazine, and this gave me the necessary foundation to make me adept in putting my thoughts into words. After gaining my bachelor's degree in Management at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, I finally vowed to finish the story I started on 2003 and turn this comic book into a novel instead. On January 2009, I started to write it all up. It's quite hard at first as I have been writing it while taking another degree in accountancy at the University of the East. Also, the challenge is the research and plotting the story to make it complete. This ate time that it took three years for me to finish it and another year and a half to revisit the story: to create a time table, assign the time frame, and identify the lunar faces on each chapter. I have finished writing it on the same time I passed the board last year on May 2013. I have to thank God for this miracle as I couldn't have done it without his blessing, guidance, and inspiration. It's quite a challenging adventure, one that I am really thankful to experience.

"Similar to the person from my memory, do you know how hard I've been looking for you‽" Chen Ge remembered it very clearly. It was a night of heavy rain, and the clock on the phone showed it was 2 am. He was rampaging down the corridors of the abandoned school. When he passed the last classroom, that was the first time that he had encountered the old headmaster. The kind, rotund old man stood at the podium. His eyes met Chen Ge's, and their paths crossed for less than a second. Now, their paths were crossing again at the School of the Afterlife. The old headmaster probably did not expect that brief encounter to be something that would change his life forever.
His scalp turned numb, and a chill crawled down his spine. The figure who stood before Yin Hong's desk slowly turned around. When he saw Chen Ge, his expression was very unnatural.
"You are…"
"Chen Ge." Chen Ge took large strides toward the old man. "We have met in Mu Yang High School before. If you cannot remember it, I can show you the video because I was in the middle of a livestream back then."
"I believe I have an impression of you, but now I have something else to do. After I'm done, we can catch up and talk." The old headmaster seemed to know Chen Ge's secrets. He knew that he was different from his students' lingering spirits. Once his life entangled with Chen Ge, there would be endless problems, so he made up his decision instantly as he grabbed Yin Hong's arm and prepared to leave.
"What is more important than the children at Mu Yang High School?" Chen Ge took out the comic from his backpack. "Headmaster, everyone misses you. When you are away, the students lose their smiles. You are the backbone of Mu Yang High School. Without you, the home is not complete."
Be it from his expression or voice, the content or tone, Chen Ge was the epitome of sincerity. Seeing that his students were all on Chen Ge's side, there was a change to the old headmaster's gaze. His lips opened, but nothing came out instantly. Even though he had been alive for a long time, the old headmaster had not learned how to say no.
"Headmaster, I know that you have your difficulties, and I understand you have your own considerations, but think about this. You believe that you have given a safe home for the students and entered such a dangerous place alone. But do you think the students can rest easy not knowing how their beloved headmaster is doing? If they know their current lives are in exchange for everything you have, do you think they can continue to enjoy that life? You know your students best. If you do not wish for them to wallow in guilt, please tell us everything so that we can discuss it together." Chen Ge's every word crawled into the old headmaster's heart. He did not care about his own safety, but he cared deeply about those students. Those students were the old headmaster's weakness, so of course, they were also his best helper.
Without giving the old headmaster more time to consider, Chen Ge took out a ballpoint pen. He handed the pen to the old man and then got a piece of paper from Yin Hong's bag. "I'm not lying to you. I hope you can listen to their opinion."
The old headmaster held the taped pen in his grasp. The pen shuddered, and when the tip of the pen touched the paper, it started to move on its own. "No matter what other people think, I am willing to help you."
Chen Ge sighed under his breath when he saw the words on the paper. When the Pen Spirit found out Chen Ge was going to the School of the Afterlife, she had sworn to commit suicide if she was brought along, but now she had changed her statement after meeting the old headmaster. The old headmaster shook his head. He held the pen gingerly like he was afraid of damaging it. He looked at it like he was looking at his granddaughter.
"Not only her, there's everybody else." Chen Ge flipped through the comic and summoned all the students from Mu Yang High School. "They are all orphans, and you have given them a home. After they died, their lingering spirits remained in Mu yang High School because, for them, no matter how big the world is, Mu Yang High School will always be home."
Seeing the familiar figures, the old headmaster was silent.
About ten seconds later, he turned to Chen Ge. "I am going to do something very dangerous. You shouldn't have come, and you shouldn't have brought them with you."
"You have seen my parents and know about them. Since you are willing to leave the students to me, it means that you understand my personality." Chen Ge stood before the old headmaster. "The Haunted House is my home, and the people who stay there are naturally my family. How can I let my family suffer every day with guilt?"
Be it the lingering spirits from Mu Yang High School or Bai Qiulin who was carrying the mirror, when they heard Chen Ge, they were moved. Their sense of belonging to the Haunted House grew. This was not something that Chen Ge repeated daily, but it was a feeling that had slowly been impressed upon them day after day by the way Chen Ge acted around them.
"The thing that I'm going to do is very dangerous; it'll put you in danger, and it'll harm them." The headmaster's hair was white. He stood inside the burned classroom and looked at the familiar figures. He had not thought that he would see the children again in his life.
"I have spent so much time trying to get into this school. One of the reasons behind it is to help you." Chen Ge summoned the spirits back into the comic. They were just lingering spirits, thus very weak. If there was an accident, their souls would disperse, and their last trace on earth would be wiped out. Seeing the disappearance of his students, the headmaster had a complicated expression before he sighed in relief. "You are just like your father, meddling in other people's business, prone to causing trouble, and don't like to consider the consequences. However, you have a bottom line that you will not cross and a heart of kindness that glows in the dark."
This was the first time that Chen Ge had heard a comment about his father. It was completely different from his impression of his father. Afraid of stopping the old headmaster, he did not say anything to retort him.
"Looks like you're familiar with them," Chen Ge commented.
"Yes, it was your father who told me that Xueyin is trapped inside the School of the Afterlife. Without asking for anything in return, he helped me find a way to get in here. He helped me so much, and now you have personally entered the school to look for me… I owe your family too much."
Chen Ge's father was built up in the headmaster's words, but Chen Ge felt a bit unsettled hearing that. It was an accident that he had taken over the Haunted House, and he did not even consider that his life would be entwined with the old headmaster before this. Before, he had thought that everything was too coincidental, but now that the old headmaster mentioned it, Chen Ge suddenly realized that the headmaster appeared to have been scammed.
"Perhaps I am acting too selfishly, just thinking about myself and not anyone else." The old headmaster was reflecting, and Chen Ge did not know what to say.


The hearse with the weird odor slowed to a stop before the entrance. The sound of pebbles could be heard bouncing on the ceiling. There were footsteps coming from the corridor, and there seemed to be someone sawing next door. The door knob to the room rattled slightly, and the faucet in the bathroom kept dripping even though it had been screwed shut. There was a rubber ball that rolled on its own underneath the bed. Wet footsteps started to surface one after another on the floor. 
At 3 am, Chen Ge held a cleaver in his hand as he hid beside the room heater. The call he was trying to make was finally answered. "Landlord, is this what you meant by 'the house can be a little crowded at night'‽"

The bell rang and classes started. I looked to my left, three seats from me beside the window, empty. The guilt hitting me hard. The teacher started calling for attendance.

Rick - absent. 

Was it my fault for pushing him away? Should have I done otherwise and thanked him? Darn you Rick, making me feel bad in your absence. I hate to admit it but I want to see him so badly especially after what happened yesterday. I know he's just worried about me but I wasn't used to being taken care of. I don't know when I would be.

Class ended and for the second time of the week, I couldn't understand a thing. I dragged my feet to the PubRoom with Jessie by my side. 

"You look pale." She commented, "please don't pass out again, we have work to do."

"I know."

"And Rick's worried about you. That asshole bugged me the last time."

Rick. Why does his name pop up all the time? Or was I just too conscious about him now? I shook my head, I don't need to get distracted. 

Jessie suddenly grabbed me by the arm before I had the chance to open the door to the PubRoom.

"What do you feel about him?" Jessie blurted out. "You seemed different when around him."

"What do you mean?" I asked, although I knew exactly what she was trying to say. 

"You know what." She averted her eyes from me. "Just take care of him, please."

"Good afternoon." I greeted the moment Jessie and I stepped in the PubRoom. Gladly no one sensed the tension between us.

"Good afternoon, Chief." Monica, the Managing Editor said. "The basketball captain is here. I told him to leave because of the meeting but he won't move. Sorry."

I nodded to her and looked. There, on the seat beside my usual spot was occupied by Rick. His cheeks rested on the table and his eyes were closed. He looked...

Before I could even think of a word to describe him, a half empty bottled water came flying across the room. 

"Hey!" Jessie exclaimed. "I even bothered coming over to wake you up and you're absent?"

Rick rubbed his head where the water bottle hit him. "I know, I know, sorry." He yawned. "I'm feeling lazy today."

"Asshole." Jessie murmured and Rick smiled at her. 

I felt a twinge in my chest when I see Rick and Jessie this close. I took a deep breath and took a seat beside him. Today he smelled like coffee. 

The rest of the staff took their places. Jessie seated beside Rick on my right, Monica on my left, beside her the treasurer, Erica. Across me were Raymond, head artist, Bea, literary editor, Ella, features editor, Jimmy sports editor, and Lloyd the photographer. Also present were Jo and Jed, they're twins and layout artists, Andrew, Annie, May, Charmaine and Gina, senior staff writers and Belle, Carmela and Miko our cartoonists, and Raymond the head artist.

"Shall we start?" I said when everyone's settled. "OK, let's start with the news, Andrew please."

"All approved articles are already forwarded to layouts to be typed. We're in schedule." He said.

The staff knew the drill when I ask for progress report, I didn't need to cue them for questions.

"Sport section is done with the articles and editorial. We are just waiting for the announcement of the next captain." All eyes turned to Rick who laughed nervously.

"Can you tell us when the announcement will be?" I asked him directly. 

"Ehm.. , Saturday after our practice, you guys will be the first to know."

I nodded.

"Aside from that article we're in schedule." Jimmy continued.

Bea was next. She handed me a folder with atleast 20 poems and short stories. "We've reached the quota for the newspaper. Those were initially approved but didn't make it to layout. Those were excess."

I nodded. I need to make something out of these.

"All features are done. Book and movie reviews are in layouts, the person and blog review articles are in editing and will be done by Monday."

"Comic strips are done as well as the editorial cartoon." Belle said, we'll be working with layouts once all articles are in for the rest of the artworks."

"Ericka." I called," I also want a financial report please." 

"The school will be releasing our funds by Wednesday next week. I don't have an estimate of how much we'll be funded."

"Do you think we'll have budget for special release? Maybe 20 to 25 pages including cover, editorial and TOC?"

"We still have savings from our last release, as long as it's not 100% colored we can make it work."

I started tapping my fingers, a habit when I think. The staff was quiet waiting for instructions. Rick, who's not used to the publication's workflow turned to Jessie with confusion.

"He's thinking." She told him. "Keep quiet."

I sighed and smiled.

"Depending on the budget report I want a special literary booklet using these" I lifted the folder Bea gave me. "10 poems, 2 essay or a short story and 5 pages of artworks or comic strip."

Bea, knowing she would be handling the project raised her hand. "What would be the title, chief?"

"Chief?" Rick whispered to me. "What's TOC?"

I've almost forgotten about him. I turned and smiled. His face flushed red. "Thanks" I told him.

"Table of Contents, TOC. Can we make something with that theme?"

Bea nodded. "I can make it work."

"Thanks Bea. Ella, since you're done with features, help Bea. Miko work the art and cover. Let's keep it within 20 to 25 pages. I'll write the editorial. Deadline is.."

I turned to Jessie. She's better in setting deadlines than me. I tend to make it short and the staff ends up cramming. 

"Let's do it in three weeks. We can have it printed same day as the newsletter, we could even get a discount on the printers."

"You guys heard her. Any more question?"

Silence. 

"Please answer this nomination form for the next editorial staff." I passed the form around. "I want it asap, please."

I waited for any objection but there was none.

"That's it for today. Good job guys." 

Everyone moved to their spaces to start working. I sighed and relaxed. 

"He's cool right?" I heard Bea spoke to Rick. "Our chief."

"Yea he is." He glanced at me. "He's amazing."

Alvin is bad at making conversations. He's smart and popular but he mostly kept to himself. One day, basketball captain Rick invaded his personal space and is throwing him off. How would Alvin handle this invasion? And what is Rick's motive for doing so?

Another week past and Alexa was healing faster than normal, so the doctors switched the casts out with slings and a boot and reminded her to keep things easy. She was excited to get out of the house again.

Alexa went to the company with Alex and Kaia, yet she was in a recording studio watching Bretton work. Bretton tried to get her to sing with him, but she declined. The last time she tried to sing since the accident, her voice sounded different, and she didn't like it. She didn't know how or why it changed, but she thought it was worse, so she didn't want to sing anymore.

After leaving the studio Bretton and Alexa went down a few floors to the photography floor so Bretton could do a photo shoot. Many artists would have to go to many different places, but that was the best thing about Sabor Sights. They had it all in one building.

Bretton helped Alexa to his chair on set before going to get dressed. When he returned, he wore ripped black jeans with a red button-up shirt with a black over vest. He had illuminating red contacts, and his make up made him a tad paler than he already was. 

Alexa couldn't help but think back to her favorite comic book. Alexa let out a small squeal. "Bretton! You look like Ash from "A Vampire Next Door!"She looked at him with sparkling eyes. Bretton laughed lightly holding up his thumb finger, "That means they did their job right, The comic is getting a series." 

Freezing, Alexa looked at him with her mouth agape," And you didn't tell me!" Bretton laughed and poked her forehead. "This reaction was the best; I'm glad I didn't. Now hush and just watch the shoot," He said walking in front of the cameras.

Alexa smiled and pulled out her phone, taking a few secret pictures."He looks so cool," She said to herself watching him.

Alex sat in his office working on some papers. Kaia was in the corner chair, curled up and passed out. Alex looked up from his desk noticing the sleeping Kaia. Just her being near still made his heart flutter with joy. He stood up and walked to the small closet pulling out a throw blanket, gently placing it over Kaia. 

After leaning down to kiss her forehead, Alex sat back at his desk and continued to work. He might have dropped the Korean scene because of Mi Sung, but a few companies have been contacting him. So he set up with meetings, with a few of the top ones. He was going through the paperwork to see what they do at their company and see if they were reliable for partnership.

Naomi soon came to the door in a hurry, She was going to speak, but Alex stopped her. He pointed towards Kaia before motioning Naomi to come in close. Naomi nodded in understanding before walking into the office. She took the tv remote and turned on the tv, making sure to mute the sound.

The Tv was showing a new's report in front of Crestfall industries. The words that ran across the bottom of the screen read.

[ Mr. Crestfall, creator of Crestfall Industries was found dead this morning in his office. Mr. Crestfall was recently put in jail and was out on bail. From the details, received by the police, Mr. Crestfall committed suicide.]

Alex put a hand on his chin with a 'heh.' He looked at Naomi and nodded. "Thanks, Also set up to have some fruit baskets for the guest, in a few days. Naomi looked at him quickly writing it down before walking out. 

Alex shut off the tv and continued to work on his things. He wrote down a few things before hearing his cell phone go off. Alex tilted his head and reached over looking at the front. Seeing it was a message from Alexa, he opened it. 

Alexa's message had a picture of Bretton then a mad face, "Why didn't anyone tell me about this!?"  Alex grinned and sat back in his chair replying," They are just casting right now, Why don't you try it?" He sent his message and set his phone down.

Thinking for a second, Alexa smiled. She really wanted to. She was a huge fan of the comic so why not? 

Alex gathered a few documents in his hands before walking over and kissing Kaia's cheek."Time to wake up dear, I have a meeting to get to. You have a few minutes before your class," he spoke softly before kissing right by her ear which made Kaia grin. 

Kaia turned her head blinking her eyes to look at him." Okay, don't let me keep you," she said rubbing her eyes. Alex grinned and leaned in kissing her cheek over and over, "stop. acting .so. cute."He kissed her cheek, lips, and jaw after every word. Kaia giggled and grabbed him by his cheeks, "stop it, go to your meeting." 

Kaia got up and folded the blanket, placing it on the couch before stretching. Alex left the room and went to his meeting.

Kaia smiled thinking about Alex and how much he changed over the years. Kaia walked down to the floor her class was in and began to instruct the students. They were in a steady flow of pronouncing vowels while singing. 

The began to pace around the room listening to the students. Going to turn, Kaia stumbled a little. Blinking, Kaia rubbed her head before shaking it off. None of the students seemed to notice, so she kept walking. 

Kaia made her way to the front of the class. Feeling light headed again she grabbed onto the podium, her face only showed confusion. The students began to worry asking her what was wrong. Kaia was going to tell them nothing, but instead, she grimaced, "get Mr.Sabor…" she mumbled out before her vision went fully black and she fell to the floor unconscious.

Ji Xiehan sunk into thought. No matter how much he wanted to deny it, what Jiang Xingyu was saying was right. 
But could he really ask Li Lanni to spy on someone? Wouldn't that be too overboard? 
Even if he asked her, would she comply with his request? She did owe him a favor, but there was no way he was going to use it for Jiang Xingyu! Thinking till here, Ji Xiehan shot a glare at his friend.
If he couldn't bring himself to ask, he could just warn her about Ruby Chan. That would ensure her safety without having to do such tasks.
"Hey! Don't you even think about backing out! I know you too well." How could Jiang Xingyu not know what his friend was thinking even after receiving a glare from him!
Ji Xiehan sighed. Well, that didn't work.

That night, Li Lanni busied herself around in the kitchen. 
She had initially thought of procrastinating for ages and making Ji Xiehan give up on the cookies, but after meeting his mother, she didn't want to owe him anything. She would rather be done with it as soon as possible. 
Baking even with the help of a recipe book wasn't very easy for her. The last time she baked hadn't been easy either. She had wanted to ask her mother for help but thought against it in the end, not wanting to bother her.
By the time she was done with mixing the batter, there was a thin layer of sweat on her forehead. 
Her clothes and hair were covered with flour even though she had worn an apron and a hat. She quickly portioned the batter onto the baking pan and put them in the oven then set the timer.
She sighed while wiping the sweat  and sat on the chair to take rest.  She drank a mouthful of water and thought in frustration that she was never going to make cookies again! Luckily she made many of them this time. She would just tell the pervert that she had baked two portions. If he insisted on having her bake again, she would just order some from a pastry shop.
 It would still take a while for the cookies to be ready, so she started playing with her phone to pass the time.
 Within half-an-hour, the timer went off. Li Lanni quickly switched off the oven and wore a pair of thick mittens before taking out the cookies from the oven. 
They looked pretty with the strawberry pieces sticking out a little. At least they looked edible and were pleasing to the eyes.
She waited for them to cool down and took one to taste it. 
"Well, at least my hard work paid off." She praised herself as she tasted the sweet crunchiness. "I deserve a pat on my back!" 
"Who are those for?" Li Yuming asked as she sniffed the sweet aroma in the kitchen.
Li Lanni was startled and turned to look at her mother. "Mom, when did you get here?" 
"Just now. I went to your room and didn't find you." 
"Oh..." Li Lanni was too embarrassed to say that the cookies were for Ji Xiehan. Her mother would certainly overthink things, so she changed the topic. "Is something the matter?" 
"I will go somewhere early tomorrow morning." Li Yuming smiled when she saw her daughter avoiding the topic. "I might be back quite late or the day after." 
"Where are you going?" Li Lanni couldn't help asking. 
"Nowhere important. Take care of yourself, okay?" 
"Okay." Li Lanni didn't probe further. But she couldn't help but wonder where her mother was going. Was it out of B City? Whatever, she was tired and had no energy to think about it now. She went to her room and freshened up.
Before sleeping, she sent a text message to Ji Xiehan. 
 ...
The next day after class, Li Lanni went back home to get changed before going to meet Ji Xiehan. This was also because she had not carried the cookies with her to class or they would get eaten by her or Cheng Yu.
She had not had lunch yet, so she suggested meeting at a restaurant not far from Feng Ji International. This was only logical since he had to go back to work after lunch. 
Because the restaurant was farther from her home, Ji Xiehan arrived before her. 
Once she walked into the private booth he had booked and saw how dashing he looked in his black suit and blue shirt; she looked at her Jeans and simple top self-consciously. She should have worn a dress. 
She bit her lips and proceeded like she didn't care. "Hey." 
Ji Xiehan let out a smile, looking even more attractive with those slight curves at the corners of his mouth. "You look lovely." He complemented honestly. 
Although what she was wearing was meant for her comfort and she didn't pay much attention to it, she still looked beautiful. 
Obviously, this was because she looked beautiful in anything. 
"I do?" Li Lanni's heart raced, and she sounded silly. "You don't look too bad yourself." 
It was Ji Xiehan's turn to bask in happiness. This was the first time she had complimented him. He was happy even if it was most likely out of courtesy. 
"How are your classes going?" He asked after placing their orders. 
"It's all good. We are going to have a test soon. I guess they are planning to discontinue students who will not pass the test." 
Ji Xiehan thought it made sense too. For the test to be prepared this early, this was the only logical reason. So they did care for quality after all. He recalled his conversation with Jiang Xingyu from the previous day and decided this was the best time to bring that up. "There are students who don't do well?" 
Li Lanni was at ease, so she talked about it. "There are such students in every class, right? It makes one wonder why they are wasting so much time." 
"Maybe they have different agendas?" Ji Xiehan said. "Actually, there's a mole in Star Art International." 
Li Lanni raised an eyebrow in question. 
Ji Xiehan continued. "Two weeks ago, Star Art International was planning to purchase the copyright of a comic. The comic wasn't doing well in the market, and it was going to be redrawn by Star Art International into a better version. There was no way another comics company would have thought of buying the same unpopular comic. Still, on the day before the contract was signed, the author suddenly backed out on Star Art International and collaborated with another company instead." 
"Huh?" Li Lanni was surprised. 
"This is just one of the many things happening recently. Star Art International has been losing too many deals, including some of the already signed ones. It's obvious that someone is playing tricks."
"There seems to be a mole, and the mole might be your classmate." Ji Xiehan continued.
"That's terrible." Li Lanni frowned, seeming to think of something. 
"Yeah. It could slow down a company's progress and cause huge losses. Jiang Xingyu has been sitting on pins and needles. He thinks Ruby Chan is the mole." 
Li Lanni's frown deepened. "That's absurd. Why would Ruby be a mole?" 
To get her help, he couldn't hide anything, so he expressed his hypothesis. "While Ruby Chan is from a rich family and doesn't need money, she could still be a mole. She could do it for her father." 
"She could... but it would not make sense. Her father's company has nothing to do with art." 
"Of course. That would have been too obvious. But think about it. Chan Enterprise has been trying to compete with Jiang Corporation for ages now. If a subsidiary of Jiang Corporation was attacked to bankruptcy, wouldn't Chan Enterprise beat Jiang Corporation?" 
Li Lanni was in deep thought again. "It would...
Indeed, Chen Enterprise would be the biggest benefactor if something went wrong in Jiang Corporation.
"But Ruby isn't the mole." She still refuted his suspicions after thinking about it clearly.
"How can you be so sure?" 
"Let's be logical. She doesn't like art, doesn't do well either, attends classes every day when she didn't even go to class in B City University. Wouldn't that be too obvious? I don't think anyone would plant such an obvious person.
If I wanted to plant a mole in a comic art class, I would plant someone talented. Someone like Cedric because no one would suspect him. 
Of course, Cedric isn't the mole either." 
Ji Xiehan found her train of thought compelling and more logical than Jiang Xingyu's. But, "How would you know that Cedric isn't the mole either?" 
"Because I know who the real mole is." Li Lanni shrugged. "To be exact, there are two of them. The other one is in a different department, but I know about both of them." 
"What?!" Ji Xiehan widened his eyes in shock.


"Little troubleshooter, we meet again. If you are still thinking of trying to get away, you better give up that silly idea." Ji Xiehan said, pinning her against the wall. 
Li Lanni pushed her fists against his chest. "Is this how you say hi to all your interviewers, Mr. Ji?"
