What would you do to have your wish granted?

Hayato Adashi is bullied, teased, and abused from the moment to he steps into college, Aoigiri Private College. He doesn't have anything to make up for this bullying. He isn't strong or good at any sport at all. His grades make you wonder how he passed highschool.

Then one dark and rainy night, a man with a cloak made his life change forever. For the better or the worst is what Hayato is still trying to figure out. 

He ends up on a Chronicle List that grants him the power to see and manipulate future events. It's all thanks to this little God that goes by Oculus.

Hayato begins to believe that his sad life is turning around. That is until he learns the truth about the Chronicle List. He isn't the only one who's on it.

Apparently, Oculus has made a grave error and allowed too many people on the list. There isn't enough power for everyone who is on it. There are about 12 people on the list in total and now only 2 people must be on it. Which means 10 people must die.

No one knows who is on the list expect Oculus so the stakes are high. Hayato knows that he can't sit with his thumb up his ass or else it will be game over. Will he prevail or end up with a regretful death?

Winter vacation was drawing near. My train tickets should be booked in advance, as well as Cong Nianwei's.

I also have to get some local specialities for my family. I’ve been away from home for more than half a year. I can’t return with bare hands. 

Plus, the dinner before winter vacation would also cost him money. After calculating, Qin Guan realized that the large amount of money he had earned would all be spent soon. He held his thin wallet between his fingers. I’ve got a long way to go yet. 

Several days later, the exam results were announced. As expected, all his roommates had passed the college exams as well as the College English Test Band 4 [1] with an 100% grade.

The moment they heard, they went around other dormitories one by one, showing off like little cockerels.

They got beaten so hard that they returned to their own dormitory with bloody noses and swollen faces.

The college scholarships were announced just before winter vacation. Four of them got a full scholarship while the other two got a partial scholarship.

Those two were quite depressed. One of them had been busy working for the student union while the other had worked on a dancing party. Everybody else had been busy with ordinary activities. How could those two have gotten a full scholarship?

Qin Guan was also depressed. Both his and Wang Lei’s scores qualified for the national scholarship. Only of them would get it while the other would get the partial national scholarship.

Soon the national scholarship list was announced, confirming Qin Guan's worries. Both Wang Lei and Liu Xiaoyang, his two nemeses, got the full national scholarship for each department.

Qin Guan read through the whole list pathetically.
Not bad. He’d gotten a partial scholarship. There was a 3000-yuan difference between the two scholarships. 

It was a wide gap between the 8000-yuan full scholarship and the 5000-yuan partial scholarship.

Qin Guan was working on the steward software on computer. The 5000-yuan partial national scholarship plus the 1800-yuan college scholarship equalled 6800 yuan.

It’s a large amount. I could indulge and buy something with the money I earned. They were all excited and decided to enjoy a big dinner out. Where would they go? To The Leopard, of course.

The Leopard’s Buffer was quite expensive for undergraduates in early 1999. Its 168-yuan per person price scared most people away. 

The six foodies took the bus to the Wangfujing Leopard, which was located at 55 Dong’anmen Street, Dongcheng District. 

A seafood buffet was a novelty for people in the capital at the time. 

Entering the restaurant, they were surrounded by the smell of dazzling dishes.

There was Japanese sashimi, seafood, Hong Kong roast pork, Guangdong Province cured meat, Chinese hot dishes, French desserts and Häagen-Dazs ice cream.

Getting their money’s worth was a piece of cake. 

They had such a good dinner that the luxurious dining room looked empty and simple to them.

They had seafood the same way they’d eat chicken wings at Origus [2].

The amount of food each of them consumed was beyond the average person’s imagination. 
Of course, they didn't forget to shake their bodies as they supported themselves on the wall, making sure there was no spare space in their stomachs before they called it a night.

They had enjoyed an excellent dinner, but there was hell to pay the next morning. They had to wait in line outside the toilet the whole day. They all had diarrhoea.

It was so stupid. Who the hell would have combined raw and cold seafood, vegetables, fruit, greasy barbecue, and countless other kinds of staple food and desserts? 

They had even had a bucket of ice cream. How could they not get diarrhoea?

After some deep introspection following the dinner, they reached the conclusion that they had built a good foundation for the belly-worshipping trend of the future.

Let's end that story here though, because Qin Guan had another date.

He went on a date with Cong Nianwei.

Her exams had finished early, so they’d arranged to return home together for winter vacation.

They both had to buy some gifts for home, so Qin Guan arranged a shopping date. He decided to impress Cong Nianwei with his profound shopping expertise.

That was the only thing he could do since he had been beaten in the exams and hadn't qualified for a full national scholarship.

Qin Guan had already bought the return train tickets and was going to bring her her student identity card and ticket.

He’d gotten Cong Nianwei’s student identity card under the pretense of booking the tickets, and had placed it carefully under his pillow. He slept on it in the hopes of seeing his dream girl in his dreams every night. 

His abnormal action had attracted the attention of his roommates, who had discovered his secret and had all looked at the card. 

Seeing Cong Nianwei’s photo, they sighed and patted Qin Guan on the shoulder with sympathy.  Dude, it makes sense for you to have her. You have such a handsome face, and she’s not just a straight-A student, but a beauty to boot. 

You have a long way to go, Qin Guan.

Qin Guan paid no attention his roommates. They were just jealous.

The train was leaving the day next, so they had to go shopping that day. The task was hard and they had to finish it quickly.

They met at the Modern Plaza and decided that Niu Street would be their first stop. 

Niu Street was the largest Muslim gathering place in the capital. The famous Niu Street mosque, which dated back to the Song Dynasty, was located there and was also the origin of the street’s name. 

When they got off the bus, Qin Guan and Cong Nianwei were shocked by the sight. Muslim buildings of different sizes, featuring the foreign architectural style, could be seen everywhere. With their steeple tops, green foundation and yellow walls, those buildings were quite different from buildings in other streets. 

You could distinguish clearly the native people from the business men of Niu Street. Niu Street men wore white skullcaps on their heads, while the women wore saris to cover their hair.

The shops on Niu Street were unique. There were century old renowned shops, but the majority of the shops on the street were selling take-away desserts and special snacks. 

Qin Guan and Cong Nianwei were not in a hurry. They strolled along the street and observed  the shops one by one. If they saw something interesting, they would just buy it. 

New Year Bai Cake couldn’t be reserved for long. Customers had to eat it as soon as possible after buying it.

It would take them more than ten hours to return home by train. The cake would surely go bad by then. Qin Guan asked for two small pieces. The salespersons scooped up two pieces of cake, wrapped them in oil paper and passed them over to them.

They lifted up one corner of the paper and took a bite. It was soft millet cake, with sweet and soft bean paste in the middle and haw stripes on top. New Year Bai Cake was soft, sour and sweet at the same time. 

They put the sticky cake into their mouths and swallowed cosily. It was like a feast. 

They noticed a long queue emerge from a small alley by the street, and Qin Guan craned his neck to have a look. Someone was selling cooked Nian meat. He couldn’t help but shake his head.

I could have bought some as a gift if this was after 2000.  There was no vacuum packing yet in early 1999 though. The meat would go bad easily. 

Donglaishun hot pot, Laobaodu sheep or pork, Douzhi Bao ground bean drink, Snack of Hong. All these didn't match Qin Guan's idea of a gift. Qin Guan pulled Cong Nianwei and they walked down the street before finally reaching their destination, the Dashunzhai Super Market. 

The Dashunzhai Super Market was a renowned Niu Street Muslim Market. With a history of more than 300 years, the market engaged in the sale of Muslim pastries and cakes, including its most famous product, the sweetened baked wheaten cake.

“I’ve heard from my roommates that when Muslims went on a pilgrimage journey to Jerusalem in the early times, they would take with them wheaten cakes from the Dashunzhai in Tong Town.”

They just bought a cake each and ate them on the spot. They had to get other things from the supermarket. 

They wanted to buy Niu Street fried mixed powder, Muslim preserved fruit and eight kinds of Beijing pastries. They were all in simple packages with expiration dates and capital features. 

They bought a few of each kind and shared them. When they went out of the supermarket, Qin Guan was holding two large bags of local specialities.

It was middle of the day, and they couldn't miss the Niu Street Hong Snack Restaurant. They served all kinds of Muslim snacks there, both sweet and sour.

After getting seated and putting down their bags, Qin Guan automatically switched to ordering mode. He ordered a long list of things, including vegetarian balls, chopped entrails soup, steamed dumplings with minced beef and gravy, fermented Mung Bean Juice and much more. After ordering all those dishes, Qin Guan realized that Cong Nianwei was sitting right across from him.

He added at once, “How do you like this, Cong Nianwei? Do you want anything else?” Dude, it’s a little late for that now. 

Cong Nianwei found everything on Qin Guan interesting. Why was the guy like that when it came to food? She waved Qin Guan’s question off, “I don't mind. You pick.”

Qin Guan was quite pleased. What did I do with to deserve such an easy-going girl?

They decided on the order and Qin Guan went to the counter to give their long list of dishes. There were two natives there, who seemed quite garrulous at the first sight. They made fun of Qin Guan, “Hey dude, did you get confused there? You made such a big order.”

Qin Guan smiled shyly. It was indeed a little much.

He held a long machine-printed receipt in hand and, pointing to Cong Nianwei, he answered, “My partner in confusion is over there. I should feed her first, shouldn’t I?”

They all burst into laughter. He took all the dishes one by one from different windows and returned to his seat, sweat dripping down his face. It was physical work to run along the line of different windows so many times.

The cooked stripes were crisp and the chopped entrails were delicious.

They ate everything, leaving only a mess of empty plates on the table. They both had a full stomach.

Qin Guan picked up the shopping bags for Cong Nianwei and gestured for her to go ahead. The two of them headed to their next destination.

Zhang Yiyuan was a tea shop with a history of about a century. Its most famous kind of tea was jasmine tea, which was what Qin Guan wanted.

Zhang Yiyuan’s flagship store was located at Dashila in Qianmen. They bought quite a lot of tea and twenty mini cans for tea reserved by the shop assistant. Qin Guan shared half of the cans with Cong Nianwei.

Cong Nianwei held one of them while she observed it. It was very pretty. A traditional scene of the old capital was printed on the can in elegant ink wash style. It was the perfect Spring Festival gift.

At the time, 100-yuan jasmine tea was quite good quality. It was a fragrant tea that could endure brewing while its green leaves created a beautiful contrast against its tiny white flowers. It was a first-rate gift at a reasonable price.

Walking out of the tea shop, they each bought two pairs of handmade cloth shoes for their parents from Neiliansheng, a famous traditional shoe shop in Beijing. 

As two tycoons on scholarships, they were sure to spend money on luxury goods. 

They went around the old famous shops in Dashila, including Qianxiangyi, Ruifuxiang and Tongrentang. Soon, Qin Guan had two more bags in his hands.

By that time, he was tired and breathing hard while Cong Nianwei still looked quite energetic. 

It was late, and they were nearly done with their shopping. Qin Guan made a careful suggestion to Cong Nianwei, “We’ve been walking around the whole day. Shall I take you back to campus? We have to pack before we go home.” Cong Nianwei turned her head and glanced at him in a flirting manner. Qin Guan’s knees turned to jelly at her expression. Tired as he was, he couldn’t help but look back at Cong Nianwei helplessly. 

Cong Nianwei smiled at his silly expression, ran several steps towards Qin Guan and took hold of the bags in his hands. 

Qin Guan felt her fingers sweep over his palm. Her touch felt like an electric shock over his whole body, making him limp and numb.

Vy could definitely sleep. He slept through the day, and then through the night. The sun wasn't up but it was morning when he finally left the bed. And it wasn't because he slept enough, but because he was hungry. 
 There was a stove. There were a few packets of instant ramen. Vy couldn't cook though. And so, he enjoyed a long hot shower, and walked out. His unit was on the second floor of the three story building. It was mostly students, which meant it was mostly empty right now as it was the holidays. He trotted to the sound of his feet echoing in the quiet hallway, unable to rein in the smile. 
 He had a bowl of noodles with vegetables at the stall around the corner. It was so delightfully tasty, he knew he was coming everyday. With food settled, he could pay attention to the more serious matters. 
 Li didn't really know Ash. She was crying over Vy, when her parents arranged for her to meet with Ash. The first lunch was too formal and too quiet to be a date. Also, both their parents were sitting only a few tables away. Close enough to have ears on Li and Ash's table. Not much the young couple could discuss without being overheard. 
 The second time was like a proper date. Li felt comfortable with Ash, a feeling she hadn't had in a long while. So, when he asked her out, she agreed. They met over coffee, a more casual setting. This time, they were by themselves, so they really talked. Ash told Li he knew about Vy, at least as much as Li's parents told him. Li was surprised, and then, she felt that she liked Ash. His honesty was something she had long forgotten because of Vy. She told him everything. They were talking marriage, and she wanted to be just as honest. 
 On the next date, Ash told her he liked a girl too, back in college. But they had only gone as far as holding hands, and hugging exactly once. The relationship was short-lived, because they realised they were too different. He said he was no innocent child. He could handle her painful past, if she would let him. It was in that moment, that she decided she would like to be married to a person like Ash. 
 It was an arranged marriage in the truest sense. And it couldn't have been a happier marriage. 
 There was nothing in the story that spoke of the possibility of Li and Ash meeting earlier. They were in different cities at this time. The families weren't familiar. Also, it was entirely possible that they wouldn't even like each other if they met at a different time and as different people. 
 Still, that didn't mean he would keep from trying. First, he had to find Ash. 
 He had Li's password for her Social account. He went to an internet cafe, logged onto Li's Social account, and searched for Ash. There were thousands of Ash. It took all of the morning to narrow it down to a little more than fifty. Unable to think of an alternative, he clicked on each of the profiles, until he found the right Ash. He spent the afternoon on Ash's profile, reading all of Ash's posts, opening all the photos and viewing the friends' list. 
 He wore a satisfied smile as he returned home in the evening. He was certain Li would see Ash as a friend suggestion the next time she logged onto Social. They needn't be friends. As long as the name wound up in Li's head, it would be a start. 
 It was as much as he could do right now. Before the start of the new semester, he had to work on himself as well. 
 Back home, he was shocked by the state of the closet. What was wrong with him? Were those clothes a villain would wear? There were a pair of floral shirts that looked like something he bought at a holiday in some beach. The tees were round-necks, but the colours were the ugliest. As for pants, all he had were pairs of jeans, wide legged, torn, and all of them extremely distressing to look at. 
 If he was trying to make a splash, he certainly succeeded. How did he win Li's heart with this terrible sense in clothes? Something must be wrong with Li's head, or she must be partially blind. That was the only explanation he could come up with. 
 He threw out all of the clothes without the slightest hesitation. That meant, shopping. 
 Luckily, he liked shopping. He was shopping the rest of the holidays. He was done a couple of days before classes begun. The closet couldn't be more different. It was now all dark blue and grey. There were only half sleeved round-neck tees and full sleeved jackets, straight fit jeans of uniform shades, and several pairs of loafers. 
 "Yeah," he beamed praisingly. "This is more like it." 
 He was almost ready for college. But he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was forgetting something important. He didn't keep a diary. He didn't make notes on the calendar, or on his phone. If he didn't remember, didn't that mean it wasn't something very important? Why then did he feel so flustered? Could he possibly be afraid of whatever it was? 
 He laughed at himself. The only thing to do during such confusion, was to feast on a bowl of noodles with a lot of peppers and chillies and onions. He was whistling a tune as he walked down. And right outside the building he saw her. She was glaring at him, like she was searching for him to give him a good scolding.

He was a cold hearted boy. She was a gentle loving girl. 

She loved him with all her heart. He felt nothing in his heart. 

She was heartbroken. He felt dislike. 

They had been happy a year, and unhappy five years after. 

In the end, she found true happiness. He felt bottomless emptiness. 

The story was a hundred chapters of melodrama, sorrow and tears. 

So, when Vy woke up as the lead at the beginning of the story, he decided to make it his. 

"This is me," he told himself. "This is my story. And I know exactly what this story needs. Some joy and laughter." 

He would take Li, the female lead, to her destined happiness easier and earlier, without the suffering and the heartbreak. That would make for a different, and maybe a nicer, story. 

And he had Dee to turn to for help.

Bella arrived at 6 and he set her up with a new card and scanned her fingers into the computer.

"No one can get in that is not scanned in here. Do not let anyone come up with out me knowing about it." Zane said to her.

"I won't be here for lunch I have a business luncheon at the club but would like to have dinner with you." He said.

"Can I leave for a few hours today? I need to go to the College today and look into some classes." She asked.

He laughed, "Yes, also could you do the shopping?" 

"Yes if you need me to."he handed her a credit card. 

"Keep this and from now on you do the shopping too." He then left.

She cleaned until noon then went out she stopped by the school and filled out the papers. Her classes would start next month. They were on Monday, Wednesday,  and Friday nights. A list of books would be mailed to her with a list of book stores.

She then went shopping and carried everything back to the penthouse.

She cleaned a rooms before starting dinner and waited for Zane to come home.

That night she told him all about her classes and her dream of a business. He was very impressed.

She had brains, work ethics, and she was a great cook. Now if he could only keep her and make her his.

It was late as she finished the dishes. He pulled her into the livingroom to talk some more. When it hit ten he drove her home.

That night she as she read she kept thinking of him.

◇◇◇♡♡♡◇◇◇THE LITTLE BROTHER AND SISTER

Her own daughter, who was as ugly as night, and had but one eye, for which she was continually reproached, said, "The luck of being a Queen has never happened to me." 

"Be quiet, now," replied the old woman, "and make yourself contented: when the time comes I will help and assist you." 

As soon, then, as the time came when the Queen gave birth to a beautiful little boy, which happened when the King was out hunting, the old witch took the form of a chambermaid, and got into the room where the Queen was lying, and said to her, "The bath is ready, which will restore you and give you fresh strength; be quick before it gets cold." 

Her daughter being at hand, they carried the weak Queen between them into the room, and laid her in the bath, and then, shutting the door, they ran off; but first they made up an immense fire in the stove, which must soon suffocate the poor young Queen. 

When this was done, the old woman took her daughter, and, putting a cap upon her head, laid her in the bed in the Queen's place. 

She gave her, too, the form and appearance of the real Queen, as far as she was able; but she could not restore the lost eye, and, so that the King might not notice it, she turned her upon that side where there was no eye. 

When midnight came, and every one was asleep, the nurse, who sat by herself, wide awake, near the cradle, in the nursery, saw the door open and the true Queen come in. 

She took the child in her arms, and rocked it a while, and then, shaking up its pillow, laid it down in its cradle, and covered it over again. 

She did not forget the Fawn, either, but going to the corner where he was, stroked his head, and then went silently out of the door. 

The nurse asked in the morning of the guards if any one had passed into the castle during the night; but they answered, "No, we have not seen anybody." 

For many nights afterwards she came constantly, but never spoke a word; and the nurse saw her always, but she would not trust herself to speak about it to any one. 

When some time had passed away, the Queen one night began to speak, and said-- 

"How fares my child! how fares my fawn? Twice more will I come, but never again." 

The nurse made no reply; but, when she had disappeared, went to the King, and told him. 

The King exclaimed, "Oh, mercy! what does this mean?--the next night I will watch myself by the child." So in the evening he went into the nursery, and about midnight the Queen appeared, and said-- 

"How fares my child! how fares my fawn? Once more will I come, but never again."

And she nursed the child, as she usually did, and then disappeared. The King dared not speak; but he watched the following night, and this time she said-- 

"How fares my child! how fares my fawn? This time have I come, but never again." 

At these words the King could hold back no longer, but, springing up, cried, "You can be no other than my dear wife!" 

Then she answered, "Yes, I am your dear wife;" and at that moment her life was restored by God's mercy, and she was again as beautiful and charming as ever. 

She told the King the fraud which the witch and her daughter had practised upon him, and he had them both tried, and sentence was pronounced against them. 

The little Fawn was disenchanted, and received once more his human form; and the Brother and Sister lived happily together to the end of their days.

That night Bella dreamed of a king. When looking at his face he was the handsome Zane. Loving and kind she felt safe.

If only this dream could be a real fairy tale. However Bella knew Fairytales are only in books.

He mother and father once had a love so strong that she wanted what they had. When her mother got sick she just knew she would get better because true love always wins.

When her mother died it took over a year to pick up her books again.

She learned the hard way Fairytales are for reading, hard work way for life. She would choose hard work any day.

There once was a powerful Prince who ruled the business world with no heart.

Everything he wanted he took.

One day a cleaning girl getting his home ready for a party caught his eye.

Could someone so simple thaw his hear and turn the beast into a man?

He quickly turned. He picked up a vase and threw it.

He stormed down stairs. "Who is in charge?" he roared.

Bella stood up, "I am sir, my name is Bella Beauté, what can I help you with?" She held out her hand.

He stared at it but could not take in, "It is improper to sit out in front of my home and have a picnic. There is a park down the road eat there."

"I do apologize sir. We will do that from now on. Is there anything else?" Bella tried to keep calm.

With out a word he stormed back into his home. There was still 40 minutes for lunch so they packed up their lunch and headed to the park.

From the window he watched the little girl drive away. 'Bella Beauté... Beauté is french for beauty and she was a beauty.'

The next day Michael decided to spend some time shopping. He could not keep driving a truck and wear cheap clothes. If he was going to hire people then he needed to look presentable. Michael realized he never got a car to replace his Subaru.

Michael first headed to an Audi dealership. This time the salesman did not mistreat him and accompanied him as he bought an Audi R8 V10 for $250,000. He then went to a Tesla dealership and ordered a Model S, after all, he made his first profit from Tesla stocks so he wanted to support the company. Michael ended up visiting nearly all the luxury car dealerships in town and got an Aston Martin Vanquish, Nissan GTR, and a Porsche Macan. 

All in all, Michael ended up blowing nearly a million dollars on cars until he was finally happy. If anyone touched his cars again he would send them to drink grandma meng's soup in the yellow springs road. Michael then headed to get new clothes. He stopped by some luxury clothing store but was appalled by the ridiculous clothes. Fashion just seemed to be a way for designers to rip people off. Why would anyone pay more for jeans that had holes in it?

Michael ended up just buying khakis and dress shirts. He was going to dress business casual in his office anyway. He decided to visit a tailor to get a bespoke suit. 

Michael was astonished by the complexity of suits. There were different suits to wear to each occasion. There was a suit to wear during night time and daytime. There were different button styles that distinguished different eras. One one hand he was repulsed by the elitist culture surrounding suits but he knew that it was necessary to wear a good suit during Business deals. He found a small tailor shop that was family operated and ordered five suits. The suits cost $5000 each and took one month to make. 

Michael finally finished shopping and headed to the University for classes. He got a lot of looks when he parked in an Audi R8. Well, it was mostly guys trying to take pictures. Whoever said that you can pick up chicks in supercars was very wrong. He decided to stop by the cafeteria for some lunch before going to classes.

Jennifer was having a stressful day. She had to submit the final name list for the participants in the MMA tournament within a month. The girl's team was decided and had a great chance of winning. However, the Men's team was pitiful; although the current men's team liked to pretend to be martial arts experts, their actual skill level was so low that they never even qualified for finals. 

Jennifer was proud of her achievements. She grew up in a normal middle-class family; her father owned a small flower shop so she learned the basics of running a business in her childhood. Jennifer performed well in school and even graduated four years early. She got a full scholarship and finished college with a perfect score.

Jennifer was hired as a low-level manager at TI instruments and she quickly proved her worth. She came up with new project ideas that had tremendous success and handled problems by thinking outside the box. People always presumed that she was just another second generation heir born with a silver spoon. However, she proved them all wrong with her hard work and discipline. 

She thought back to the boy that turned down her invitation. If he had joined she was absolutely sure that the team could make it to the finals and win. Jennifer did not understand why he would not participate. There were hordes of men who would try to get on her good side when she asked for favors. 

She decided to ask him again. She really could not stand to lose to Texas A&M again this year. Texas A&M is the rival college of the University of Texas; the Aggies (A&M) and the Longhorns have been fighting since time immemorial. The most humiliating thing for a club at UT is to be defeated by Aggies; the club would lose reputation and sponsors. Jennifer decided to let her pride go and ask Michael again.

Jennifer was still making plans in her head when she noticed Michael walking into the cafeteria. He grabbed the food and sat in a corner.

" God he really is a total shut-in." she muttered under her breath and went to join him. "Hey Michael, mind if I join?" she sat down without waiting for the answer. 

" Umm… I guess not. Why are you here?" He asked with suspicion. 

" Oh, I was just eating lunch when I saw you, so I decided to join you. So how are your classes? Do you like college so far? " Jennifer struck up a casual conversation. She did not want to start asking about the tournament and decided to ease into her request. 

They exchanged pleasantries and held a casual conversation. Michael did not really say anything except respond to her questions. 

" So I learned from Allen that you are an entrepreneur, what sort of business are you trying to start?" Jennifer could not believe that this rigid and quiet man wanted to start a business. Businessman needed to socialize and build connections; they needed to be able to network among peers and negotiate deals. 

"Well, I intend to do business in multiple industries. However, I want to start with Games." Michael explained. 

" Well, do you have any funding?" Jennifer asked the golden question. After all, you need money to make money. If Michael did not have any funding then he could not do anything. She might be able to use her connections to introduce him to Venture capital firms. Jennifer was hoping that she could use her connections as bait to get Michael to agree to participate in the tournament. 

" Yes, I have ample funding from an Investment Firm. I am ready to invest $50 million in the near future and can secure more capital in the future." Michael explained. He was naturally referring to his personal funds but there was no need to tell her that yet. 

Jennifer was astonished; Finding a stable funding source is the biggest obstacle most companies had when starting out. However, he already had $50 million and could acquire more in the future? Was he from some rich family?

Before she could ask her question. Michael abruptly got up and pushed her away and turned the table towards the entrance. He pulled her in behind the table and placed his finger on his lips telling her to be quiet. 

It took Jennifer a couple of seconds to process everything and when she did she immediately blushed. This guy was hugging her tightly. She never had intimate contact with a guy before.  

" YOU PERVERT!!! Let me go" She screamed out loud.

Michael was just an ordinary boy living in modern-day America. He grew up in an orphanage with a bleak future. One day he acquired a mysterious package only to inherit a system. After 2 days , Zoey and Sally on their way back home from 
College stopped at a nearby cafe , absent minded Zoey was planning her revenge on her sister but she also kept this a secret from Sally , 

"Misses , what would you like to order?" Looking at the waiter it was Luciel 

Sally : Luciel !? 

Absent minded Zoey came back into reality when she heard his name and her face was red like a tomato ,as she also looked up it was actually luciel the Luciel who she met at the bar 

"um...nice to meet you again?" Luciel wasn't that much of a person who socialist , so he wasn't good at greetings 

Zoey : you two know each other ?? 

Sally : well we go to the same college , he's our senior *giggle* Luciel you should stop skipping classes or you'll not be popular again

Luciel [flicking Sally's forehead] : I'm working to provide 

Sally : ouh ouch I'm sorry [ Giggle ] 

Zoey , admiring their friendship giggled out too : you guys get along don't you 

Sally : yeah despite his look he's a really good person 

Luciel : so guys don't waste too much time I'm working right now  so please say your order 

Sally [laughing] : okay okay , I'll take the blueberry cake and cold drinks 

 "I'll take the um... " As Zoey was about to order , she was so new to Western food and it all looked so delicious she couldn't chose which one to order 

Luciel [smiling] : try out the strawberry cake , I assure you it's delicious 

Zoey looking at Luciel "yes I will, I'll take the strawberry cake and a cold drink as well" a second after her order her face turned red again she stared too deep at Luciel that she noticed fell for him , Zoey convinced herself that love is not her thing and to snap out of it 

"Zoey anything wrong ?" Asked Sally with a worried face "you seem dazed off"

"It's nothing"

Some minutes later their food got delivered 

Luciel : Here is your cakes and drinks , and that will be $12

Sally : so cheap ?? 

Luciel : well the last person to leave this cafe always get a discount beside it's 4pm now and there isn't any other customers so you got a discount 

Sally drooling and looking at the cakes : lucky us I'm gonna dig in right now ! [ She ate her cake like a tiger or soemthing faster ]

Zoey : she really loves food Huh [ smiling at sally ]

Luciel : yeah she does, it's still a miracle she doesn't get fat from all the food she ate 

Zoey and luciel giggling at sally 

Sally : hey ! I do excecrise you know !

Interrupted by the ringing of Zoey's phone , she picked it up and answered the phone "hello ?"

On the other side of the line was her butler Mr yin ,"Young miss I'm right outside your house" 

Zoey with a surprise face : ah ! Mr.yin I'm so sorry I'll be right there ! [ Zoey then stood up to leave the cafe , giving money to the counter ] 

Sally : eh Zoey where are you going ? 

Zoey : mr yin just called , I have to get to him I'm so sorry Sally don't worry the foods are on me I already paid for them at the counter

Sally : okay be safe !

After 1 hour Zoey finally reached her house 

Zoey [ breathing heavily ] : AHH I'm so tired 

Mr yin : young miss...

Zoey : ah Mr yin ! Wait did you stand here for 1 hour ?

Mr yin : yes young miss...

Zoey : omg I'm so sorry please come inside ". [ Zoey led Mr yin inside ] it was a great day for her , with Mr yin presence Zoey felt safer well for her first revenge she was gonna get back at Luo first

Morning came all was well except for Luo's shiny bright hair , she touched her head  her scream was loud it could wake up the whole neighbour , when she looked at the mirror she went bald , angry she came out to the living room 

"Who did this to my hair !!" Screamed Luo while crying , "I won't forgive you guys easily ! When mother hears about this you'll all be dead" she rushed off to her bedroom and locked her door , her cries could be heard from her house till her college 

Enjoying the dishes was Zoey who planed it very well , she smirked as her plan was successful , what happened last night was all her doing , she asked her butler to sneak into Luo's room last night and to shave her head bald , Mr yin without any hesitation shaved Luo's precious head , but Zoey was still mad at what happend to her on the bar so this punishment was not enough , but right now it was ling ling's turn 

"Zoey was it you who did this !?" Asked ling ling with the most hatered expression 

Calmly drinking her tea "no it wasn't me" said Zoey as she was ignoring ling ling , soon it will be her turn anyway why spill it before anything happen to her ?

"You" ling ling went out in a hurry like she was headed off to somewhere 

Mr yin : young miss if they knew it was you , then you'll be in trouble , should I silence her for you?

"no I want to make them suffer more" said zoey with a scary smile 

Mr yin : as you say so miss

Zoey : oh and Mr yin I want you to go shopping today , I have something I need , here are the list on what you should buy 

Mr yin : very well miss 

Mr yin headed off to buy what was requested by Zoey , then Zoey headed off to college , Zoey's plan for ling ling was more severe than Luo as Ling ling was older and have the chance of being the one who could have caused the accident 3 years ago , Zoey doesn't paln on making them suffer all at once but she plan on making them suffer slowly by slowly and throw them out in the end

summary :

Even tho this story have a female lead , it is actually about a group of teenagers whose hearts were all polluted with hatreds , anger , revenge , coldness , jealously etc .

Zoey an 18 year old girl who just started her first year to college was also the only biological daughter of the head of the gu family , her brother was put in a coma due to an accident 3 years ago , being bullied by her own sisters her heart became corrupted with anger and revenge , she also met a boy named luciel who she fell deeply in love with and started stalking him at most time 

luciel an 18 year old boy who was mysterious in the eye of he's friends is a pittiful boy who can't remember he's past , being abused by his own mother and trying his best to provide for his sister 

Kyle the best friend of Zoey's brother whose heart was full of revenge 

Sally the girl who tried to fix her own problem and her feelings of love 

Michael an orphanage who was adopted by the gu family due to Zoey's kindness towards him

"That will be all for the class today. We'll meet on Monday now, don't forget to do your research work on the assignment allotted to you. You all have to submit your assignments by next week and I won't entertain late submissions. You get an F on your assignment if you don't submit it on time. So, start working on it right away." Mr Hall said before dismissing the class.

"Phew, what a long week!" Kate said monotonously while walking towards the parking lot.

Yes, it indeed was a very long week. Seeing him every day is very irritating, he gets under my skin. Sometimes I feel like he is doing all this on purpose. What is he even trying to prove? That he is the Mr Cool guy and every girl falls on his feet? But why? It's nothing I haven't seen before. Why does he have his eyes on me everytime he pulls a new stunt with that bimbo whether it's in cafeteria or class or the parking lot? It's like he is trying to prove a point or he just simply wants to get a reaction out of me. What's the deal with him?

 As if his actions were not enough already he started sitting adjacent to me in HRM with that girl on his left and act all lovey-dovey with her as if that's the most normal thing to do while the teacher is teaching. Furthermore, he will smirk whenever I will give him an angry look but I roll my eyes instead knowing it's like beating my head against a brick wall. He's been doing this for the whole week, and my actions speak enough to let him know that he should stop all this but I guess he has started to enjoy my expressions so I just ignore him now, wasting my time on him makes no sense whatsoever. Thank god we don't have college on Saturdays or I would have to see his ugly face even on Saturday. 

After reaching home I changed into my pj shorts and slouched down on the couch and watched the reruns of pretty little liars on Freeform Network. I needed Mom and dad were out for a business party and would return late at night. I was alone at home so I ordered pizza for dinner and ate my favourite tub of ice cream for dessert all the while watching PLL on tv.

The sound of my phone ringing woke me up from my deep slumber. It was Sarah. Sarah shares HRM with me. She is a nice and sweet girl, she is the only one I talk to in college apart from Kate and Jim. "Hello," I was half asleep. "Hey, Reb. I wanted to ask... err... I guess you were sleeping, I am so sorry for disturbing you. I'll call you later." Sarah said nervously ready to disconnect the call. "It's okay Sarah, I was about to get up anyway. Tell me, what is it?" I got up and sat straight on the bed while Sarah replied. " I just needed your help on the assignment but I think I should call you later. We'll discuss it in the afternoon. Bye." "Bye Sarah" I disconnected the call. I checked the time on my phone it was quarter to nine. I turned off the alarm which was set for 9 am and went to take a bath in the bathroom.

After getting ready I went downstairs and found the dining table and kitchen empty. Where is mom and dad? Aren't they home yet? I went to look for them in their room and they both were fast asleep. They must have returned late at night. How about I make them breakfast today?

Mom and dad woke up by the time I was almost done with the breakfast. I made scrambled eggs and pancakes with fresh fruit juice for breakfast. Mom and dad was surprised to see me in the kitchen in the morning making breakfast. 

"Reb, you could have called Maria or any other made for making breakfast, why did you cook breakfast?" Dad asked as they both settled down and I set their plate. " I just wanted to make breakfast for my parents, am I not allowed to do that?" "Of course princess, you can do whatever you feel like. Now sit down and have your breakfast."

"Mmmm, I didn't know my daughter can cook so well." Mom said with her mouth full and while dad was enjoying his food. "It is too good Reb. Thank you, princess, for this lovely breakfast. " Dad said after finishing his breakfast and kissed my forehead. "Where did you learn that?" Mom took our plates to the kitchen. "Aunt Debbie taught me." Aunt Debbie taught me cooking and baking while I was living with her in Miami. At the mention of her name, I realised I have to call her, I didn't call her this week as I was busy with my college. I miss her so much, I wish she could come to New York but she has a cafe to run in Miami so couldn't stay with us here. I'll call her today for sure, I want to tell her about my first week at college. She will be so happy to hear it.

Dad went to work after breakfast and mom was busy assisting the maids when I came back downstairs after talking to aunt Debbie.

"What's the occasion mom? Are we expecting someone today?" I asked her curiously while she was busy instructing the maids to clean the house and telling the cooks what to make for dinner today. "Nothing special just a small get together." Mom said while opening the fridge. "Margaret you need to go grocery shopping now, get all the things in the list for dinner." Mom asked Margaret, our maid. " Who is coming at dinner today, mom?" I asked while pouring my self a glass of water. 

"Kerchers are coming for dinner tonight. We met Rosh and Rachel at the party last night. They were asking about you and they wanted to meet you so your dad invited them over for dinner tonight." Mom said nonchalantly as if it was no big deal. " Reb, how about you make a dish for them. Rachel and Rosh will be so happy to see this." Mom went to check all the maids.

'Holy cow' was the first word that came out of the mouth after hearing what mom told me.

"How come you never told me you could drive? Who taught you to drive?" 

"One of my ex-boyfriends," she said.

"How many did you have?"

"I've already booked September 26th." Karina said. "Make sure she knows she can't steal you away from me that week!"

I laughed. "No worries there. I think they're shooting for something even sooner."

"Damn." She sighed. "She dates a man for less than two weeks and gets a proposal, meanwhile I dated Justin all of college, plus two more years after that, to get this ring."

"Hey, at least it wasn't all for nothing." I told her. 

She got quiet. We were both thinking of my ex, who I had dated since freshman year of college and then...yea...caught him cheating...at our friend's wedding. 

I laughed. "Hey, I'm okay now. It's in the past. It's whatever. New year, new me, and all that nonsense."

"It's okay to be sad about it." She told me. 

"I'm done with being sad, mad, and sad again. I'm just me now." I told her. "Not every emotion that I show has something to do with him. I've moved on."

"Have you though?" She asked. "Have you gone out with anyone? Like on a real date?"

"I've been a bit busy. Now just isn't the time." I pointed out. "Maybe after all these weddings, I can focus more on me. Maybe be ready for cuffing season!"

She laughed. "Not a bad idea. Get a boy right before the holidays so you get a bunch of gifts. And maybe if you're lucky, you'll find 'the one'."

Ha. Ha. Ha. 'The one.' Ugh, I hate that phrase. I tried to redirect the conversation. "Is that all you called for? To demand my attention, princess?"

She laughed. "Sorry, I was just super worried. You're usually good about texting me back. I also wanted to talk about my bachelorette party. I'm thinking of doing a weekend in Asheville, North Carolina."

"..." I stayed silent. 

"I've looked it up. It's very cute in the summertime. We can go dress shopping and bar hopping. One day we can float down their river and just relax. Doesn't that sound nice??" She elaborated. 

I sighed with relief. "Yea, that does sound nice. Just let me know the exact dates and I'll book my flight. Are you and your other bridesmaids going to fly or drive?"

"We'll drive! Make it a cute little girls trip. It's a bummer you can't be in the car with us though. Unless you want to fly to me first and then you can join the drive!"

I laughed. "No thanks. Isn't that like a ten hour drive?? I don't think I can fly from my coast to yours and then do an additional long drive. That'd be a killer." It's already going to be hard with the time change. 

"Okay, let me run the dates by the other girls since they have more restrictive schedules. Any blackouts for you?"

I checked my wall calendar. "Well, I'm going to be gone the whole last week of July so I'd prefer if you didn't pick the first weekend in August. I don't know about Raquel's wedding yet. We're going to look at some venues in Vegas on Easter weekend."

"How religious of you!" She laughed. "Most people go to the church of god on Easter and you go to your holy casino."

I laughed. It was kind of funny. "Yea, I'll have to call tomorrow to see if I can even get a reservation. I don't know if it's usually busy on such holidays."

"Probably. It's a three day weekend." She said. "What are you going to do there besides look at venues and gamble?"

"Maybe look at dresses? Not sure. I gamble enough to where I have a casino host. Maybe he can help me plan something. It's not exactly her bachelorette party, but I want to be supportive."

"You're too nice." She sighed. "I would have told her to snap out of it. I don't care how well you know someone...you shouldn't just marry them on such short notice. That can end in disaster."

"Let's hope not." I couldn't handle anymore drama. 

"That reminds me of that girl who dated that basketball player. At school." I hummed, letting her know that I was following along. She spent the next half hour gossiping about some old college classmates. Even telling me that they made the first list of their guests. They were going to start doing cuts soon depending on the feedback they got from their friends. 

After our long call, I went down to grab some food that had been cooked. I said my pleasantries to the familiar faces, but hurried away before I could get sucked into a full blown conversation. 

I ate alone in the front yard and enjoyed the spring breeze. Summer was around the corner. 

In the middle of my meal, my phone went off again. This time, my friend Brittany, also from college. And also a future bride. 

I picked up and mumbled. "Hello?"

"Val! It's awful! My dress! It's so ugly on me! What am I go to do?!?" Cries could be heard from the other side of the line. The more she spoke, the harder it became to hear. 

"Britt? Brittany?" I swallowed the food in my mouth. "Calm down. Deep breaths. Start from the beginning."

I could hear some very loud deep breathing as my friend tried to regain her composure. "My wedding dress is...it's hideous." She let out a sob, unable to hold it back. 

"Don't say that." I soothed. "Have your mom take some pictures of you in it and send it to me. You're probably just overreacting."

"That's what I said!" I heard her mom yell in the background. 

"I. AM. NOT. OVERREACTING." She cried and yelled at the same time, trying to get her point across. 

I sighed, putting my phone on speaker again. I'm starting to wonder if every bride I knew was going to yell at me today. At least Raquel isn't the type to yell; she rather cry and pout until she got her way.

Valerie Eastwood is convinced she is cursed. She's been a bridesmaid to the only two weddings she has been to, and it's not over yet. With a new wedding season in sight, there are more and more chances of her being a bridesmaid again. Armed with her planner and sense of humor, she tackles each wedding and their unique problems. One week passed by and nothing productive happened. Throughout the whole week Zafyra had been trying to tell her fosters that she was going to go to H.S.O.G this year.

At first she thought that it wasn't going to be too hard to tell them. It's just an 'in and out' type of operation. She tried telling them in the morning without angering them twice but it just didn't seem like the right time to do so. 

She thought of a better idea. She made a list of things that would benefit her fosters if she goes to H.S.O.G. She thought about it for a couple of days. Finally, she came up with three main reasons.

Firstly, she knew that they hated seeing her in the house like a leech. Which was very obvious to how she has been treated throughout those 11 years being here. So the first reason would be that, she won't be spending any of they're money. Which only meant more money for them to spend on themselves.

Second, she could brag all she wanted on the fact that her child that she raised is going to H.S.O.G. Mrs. Wagner had a thing for bragging a lot especially to her friends from college and high school. Zafyra remembered when she accompanied her foster mother and accidently bumped to one of her college friends. She couldn't stop bragging about all her highs in life. 

Lastly, she could get favored by her mother. It's true Mrs. Wagner came from a family that didn't have equality. Some of her siblings were favored than others. She hated her younger sister especially since she always stole the 'limelight' from her. Therefore, having a child that is way better than any of the past family members would mean she accomplished to educate a child 'correctly'.

Zafyra wrote everything out and finally knew how to backup her request. Obviously there were more pros than cons into letting Zafyra go to the school.

The good thing about Zafyra was that she didn't anger any of the two throughout the whole week which was something good since that meant that they weren't in any of a bad mood. Although they could always good under some sort of mood swings one way or another.

Zafyra gathered up all her courage and finally decided to tell them when they were eating. She finished washing the dishes that she used to make the food. She walked up to the wooden table and pulled out one of the wooden chairs to sit in it.

She sat in the chair and looked at them with a contemplated look. 'It's not too late to back out, right?' She thought. Then continued thinking 'Screw it, I already made up my mind'

She gulped and finally mustered up courage while making direct contact to Mr. Wagner. She maintained contact with him the whole time not trying to change the direction. If she looked anywhere else she might go of topic and stop talking. 

"I-I wanted to um.. talk to you guys about me moving schools." She flinched when she finally got the attention of them both. "So Someone from H.S.O.G decided to scout me and wants me to move to their school... And um.. well school is supposed to start in two weeks so it's a tight change but she said that she will be able to make the change happen..." Zafyra stopped to look at them and well they didn't look like the most happiest people in the world.

"And why does this matter to me?" Mrs. Wagner said annoyed while she glared at her.

"Well I need to get permission from you guys to well move to that school. Because... Because I will have to move to the school in order to attend it. And well they can't let me move without your permission." Zafyra's voice sounded very sheepishly while she was trying to avoid their glare.

"And how is this going to benefit me?" Mrs. Wagner arrogantly asked while fervently glaring at Zafyra.

"Well I-I know that you love to go shopping. S-So you will not have to spend any m-money on me and you could possibly earn the favor of your mother. Well if you don't know, I-it's hard for anyone to get into H.S.O.G. Which means you raised a child correctly and well you ex-excelled in uh..uh raising a child." Zafyra finally said it all.

You could feel all the tension in the room building up. There was complete silence for a while they all started to just look around. But they were all in deep thought. After a while finally Mrs. Wagner spoke up.

"Okay, I'll agree with this but don't come back here unless I ask for it!" Mrs. Wagner said while she had an evilly look in her eyes. Zafyra on the other hand had finally left a sigh in relief. 

Mrs. Wagner immediately agreed whenever Zafyra said about not spending money on Zafyra anymore. She knew what Zafyra was trying to say and she got her there. 

Zafyra went to her room after she got the signature from the old woman. She gave a call to the coach and finally hung up. She told her that people that were going to move into the school would be moving in next week on monday.

Zafyra has been pampered for the first 5 years of her life. Living the carefree, rich life. Enjoying playing soccer with her parents and especially with her childhood friend/hopefully future fiancé. Thinking that nothing wrong could happen, suddenly her life takes a big turn. Her parents die in a car crash and she miraculously survives.

Quickly after, she ends up alone without any family and left only being able to fend for herself. She gets put into an abusive foster home in a street where a famous underworld gangster group happens to own the territory. The only thing that makes her feel close to her parents is her passion to play soccer.

Due to this she creates friends in the neighborhood that happen to be the children of the underworld gang members. Luckily, they all bond together due to their own individual passion for the game. They grow up together and learn together the necessary skills to inherit their own place in the underworld group. With no exception of Zafyra joining the friend group.

Will Zafyra ever learn about her past? Will she ever know what happened to the little boy she used to play with? How come nobody from her family claimed her? What secrets did her parents hold? Will she ever find out?

As days passed by Ema is excited and sad that she will no longer will work as a part-time in the company. Also at the same time Ema still struggle to find friends online that she can trust. Mostly that she can see online is having an experience that they willingly share online. There are a lot of photos being shared nude by the people around the internet. "Hm, what happen to humans these days. They have gone mad and sharing nude photos of themselves." said Ema disappointingly while scrolling down the website for more posts to check randomly on her account. But suddenly she got hold again of the account of Daniel. Daniel's account is having a lot of pictures of him during his travel all over the world. Ema have spent most of her time on Daniel's account and checking every posts that Daniel shared.

"Hm, Daniel is quiet an adventurous type of guy and also the girl that she will be spending the rest of his life with is so lucky." said Ema dreamily upon looking at the smiling face of Daniel. Ema have downloaded some of the photos of Daniel for personal purposes on her laptop. The crush that Ema have for Daniel is currently growing as she seeks more information online about Daniel. "Ema, are you ready for having vacation before you go off to college?" said Amelia as she walk pass the bedroom door to sit beside Ema. "Hey! Daniel's photo? Really? Having that big crush on him??" said Amelia as she pressure the feelings of Ema. "Mama, I am ready and excited to have vacation with you and papa. Hm, mama stop joking around about the photo of Daniel. Isn't it obvious that I really like him. It's nice that I have a copy of the photo so even if without an internet at least I can still see his face." said Ema lovingly at the last photo that she downloaded.

"Hahaha, Ema darling. Oh! You are cheeks are like cherry when you blush like that. Now ... now... hm maybe I'll share your little crush to Daniel. Eh? What you think?"said Amelia to her daughter teasingly. "NOOO! Mama, don't ever share with him about having a crush on him! That's ridiculous!" said Ema defensively to her mother. Her mother smile at her daughter that she's looking at a child rather than a grown up young girl. She misses her daughter to be childish sometimes. Each time that was not spent with her daughter due to her business have passed already. It is already too late that she have the time but this time her daughter will go to college soon.

"Okay, Ema you can count on me to keep your secret. I hope you enjoy your life at college. Also bear in mind to choose your decisions wisely." Amelia told her daughter the advice that she usually get when Amelia was going to college in her past. "Yes, mama I will be keeping all that you have thought me. I really do hope that I will be as successful as you are." said Ema in an endearing way to her mother. As she go to her mama to give a hug that was worth the while of being spent with her mother.

"So going back to the vacation, Ema you must pack light things only since the vacation will be aan out of town preferably with beautiful sunset on. So have you pictured out what it will be like?" said Amelia to her daughter that still have a bear hug on her. Amelia smiled lovingly to her daughter that will soon experience her own struggles that will come to her life. "Oh by the way before I forget. Ema, this is something I get for you. This is a journal where you can write your thoughts on it and by time it will be a start to see you life unfold." said Amelia to her daughter as she held out the journal to her daughter.

"Thanks for this mama, I will surely love to write down whatever happen to me and at the same time have a look at the times that I treasured most. By the way so the vacation that we will have soon is on the beach then, eh? But I bet it is far away. Hm?" said Ema testing her mother to spill some info for the upcoming vacation. " Hahaha, Ema my dear. You will surely love the place as this is a parting gift in a way for you from us. Hope your father have not overdo it. He surely put his thoughts to this family vacation that we will soon have." said Amelia to her daughter giving her some space to think and as she went for the bedroom door to leave.

"Ema , again just pack lightly. I mean it and don't bother to pack so much things. Just enjoy and have a light package with you. Will you?" ask Amelia in a concern tone to her daughter as she knows her daughter that loves to pack everything. It's like getting the entire closet on vacation! Which was totally bizarre, Amelia smile to her thoughts as she left Ema's bedroom. As her mother left the room, Ema was left alone thinking what is the possible things to bring. She get a piece of paper to write down the necessities and the outfits on mind to bring with. 

So Ema have make a list for what to bring for a vacation possibly a beach that was on her mind:
1. Swimsuit
Perhaps one of the most essential things to pack for beach vacation as Ema been searching for at least five sets.  

2. Swim Cover Up 
Also, when packing for beach holiday, you will need of course a swimsuit cover as Ema is checking every swim cover up she have for her five sets of swim wear that she set aside.  Ema is thinking to herself and considering the possible scenery that she might went into. "This is perfect for wearing down to the beach, but you might prefer a sarong as you can also use this to cover your shoulders or legs if your visiting anywhere that has temples or monasteries." said Ema as she chose some decent cover up and some few are sexy.

3. Shorts
"I will bring 2 to 3 comfortable pairs of shorts for wearing down to the beach or walking around town." said Ema in an excited tone as she pictured out what she will do.

4. Tank Tops 
"Hm, maybe I will only need around 3 tops which I can mix and match with my shorts." thinks Ema to herself.

5. Dresses 
" Hm, I think my parents will have an evening night so I will prefer wearing dresses over shorts, I will just bring 1-2 casual sun dresses." comment Ema to herself and picturing out the past formal dinner that she have with her parents.

6. Pants and Jacket
"Hm, If the nights will get cold, I will bring a pair of pants to keep warm and I may also need to bring a light jacket in case it gets a bit cool or windy at night.  A rain jacket may also be worth while if we are going somewhere that often has down pours, particularly during wet season.  Maybe 3 in 1 jackets are perfect as they keep me warm and protect myself from the rain too." said Ema to herself while considering her options.

7. Underwear!
"Hm! Duh! I will bring 2 bras and a pair of knickers for each day. So maybe for a week (7 days) , It comes around 14 pairs .... hahaha just in case I'll bring an extra..." said Ema jokingly to herself.

8. Next will be my footwear....
Flip Flops --- my time at the beach or by the pool..
Sandals  --- for walking around town, shopping or going out for dinner.
Water Shoes  --- At some beach destinations there can be a lot of rocks and coral on the beaches so a pair of slip on mesh beach shoes can be useful items to pack to protect my feet. 

9. Beach Essentials... (Wants)
Beach Hat  --- A big sun hat of course to protect my skin from burning.
Beach Towel  --- Maybe one with microfibres that is lightweight and dries fast. Another reason I like it is that the sand won't stick on it.
Sunglasses  --- it's a must to see through the sun... heat is so coming over...
Water Bottle  --- we all know the devastating consequences plastic bottles have on the environment, so make sure you bring along a refillable water bottle.  I like to have one that won't leak and has a clasp on it so I can attach it my day bag.

10. Bags! .. Hehehe... I literally need it to store my things...
Beach Bag --- to put all my Beach Essentials items in it.
Packing Cubes --- to put all my Underwear in it so it will still be organize.
Toiletry Bag --- to keep all my toiletries in

11. Toiletries ... Hm... I need to keep it simple..
Sunscreen --- a good quality sunscreen to protect my face and body is one of the vital things needed for beach vacation.
Make Up --- personal choice but I will bring whatever I might need for a night out with my parents..
Moisturizing Cream --- some moisturizing cream for my face, eyes and body, the sun and sea tend to make the skin dry.
A Razor -- for my unwanted hair...
Shampoo and Conditioner --- A small travel size, enough for one week is plenty.
Body Wash  --- i prefer to bring my own although I find some free items to one of our recent location...
Toothpaste and Toothbrush --- Duh! Brush my teeth after meals and before going to bed...
Hair Brush and Hair Ties -- for my messy bun to be control...
Deodorant --- It can get very hot in the sun, so I won't want to forget this one!

12. Electronics
Mobile Phone --- mobile phone so I can keep in touch with social media. Especially stalking my Daniel!
Camera --- take plenty of photographs for my memories. 
Memory cards --- one for the camera and one for as a backup!
Travel Adapter --- may need to bring a plug adaptor
Headphones --- listening to music or streaming movies on my phone whilst lying by the pool or whilst traveling
Chargers / Power Bank  --- various chargers I need to keep my tech gear charged and I bring a charger to keep all of my electronics fully charged throughout my trip

Looking at the lists that Ema made for herself, she is satisfied that she will definitely have a good time. As far as Ema is concern this is the minimalist that she can get to pack her things for vacation as she smiled and getting on with the things on the list to be ready.
