This time, I startled the person wrapped up in his magazine, Fang Yuke. He stared at my angry face and said, "If a girl has a bad temper she won't be able to marry." He didn't wait for me to reply before he went back to his reading again.

The train finally thundered forward. I couldn't come up with anything to say so I grabbed a copy of Soulmate [5]. I flipped through a few pages and felt extremely bored. I didn't have anything to say but I tried to say something anyways, "Fang Yuke, how did you get into Peking University?"

Fang Yuke didn't lift his head, and continued to twirl the pen, "I was always first in school so this is normal."

"Oh. It's so fortunate that I somehow also tested in, otherwise you would be the only person who made it in from the whole town. Then, you would be so lonely! Hehe." I laughed, but in actuality, my wound had been ripped open again and sprinkled with salt.

Throughout the whole train ride, I lonesomely sent short texts, looked through Soulmate, and ate chicken feet. I had nothing else to do. On the other hand, Fang Yuke acted like a statue who sat opposite me, reading his magazine. If it wasn't for his twirling pen, I would have suspected he wasn't a living creature. In the end, I became drowsy, lay on the small table, and fell asleep. Within my haze, I was woken up by Fang Yuke, "Hey, you can go to the berth to sleep." "Why did I ask" Michelangelo thought "I haven't even read that portion of the textbook." As he remained silent while looking around the classroom for someone who could bail him out, a stifled laughter started to come from the seat behind him.

Just as the embarassment on his face was becoming obvious, a girl at the far left corner of the room spoke up.

"Igwe, Ala, Anyanwu, Amadioha, Ekwensu and Onwa."

"Good. At least one of you reads the material " Mr. Mosby said as he gestured for the reading to continue.

Michelangelo stole a glance at the girl who had spoken up but she had her eyes on whatever it was outside the classroom window and she didn't notice his gaze. 
The girl looked a little drowsy,  as if she wasn't paying attention to anything in around her but when she had answered the question there wasn't a hint of drowsiness or tiredness in her voice, only what seemed like boredom.

"The great Chi fought for six days with the other creator gods but it resulted in a stalemate with none able to claim the right to rule. It was then decided that the fighting shall be done between their creations as the greatest creator god should have the strongest creations. This was the start of the Champion games."

He sat down having finished the section of the book he was asked to read and then Mr. Mosby asked another student to continue where that point.

As he sat down the student behind him began to whisper into his ear.

"I told you to read up but as always you'd rather play with that stupid garden than listen to me" the student said.

Not wanting to get in trouble for talking in class,  Michelangelo ignored him and tried to listen to the remainder of the lesson about the creation gods and the realms they ruled over but it was just too boring for him to pay attention and he fell asleep.
"Mikey wake up"
An annoyed voice sounded into his ear as he was forced awake. Looking up he saw the student that sat behind him, his friend Deuce.
"Everyone has left already, we're the last ones. I packed your things now lets go."
Mumbling a barely audible ok, Mikey stood up and grabbed his bag before walking back home with Deuce.
Mikey and Deuce had known each other from the time they were barely able to walk, their parents were neighbours and were very friendly with each other which lead to them growing up like brothers.
They also had a heated rivalry as brothers often do. Deuce was incredibly intelligent and would often finish in the first or second spot in class, while Mikey was more athletic and had been the star man for the school's track and swim teams.
On the way home they spoke about many things before the topic finally reached  of the champion games.
The champion games were held every ten years alternating between the seven realms under the creator gods and to represent one's realm in the competiton was an honour very few could have.
Most people would only care to watch the competition and not have any dreams about participating but Mikey and Deuce were different.
Although it seemed like an impossible task the people that accomplished it were still human. If one did not even dare to dream how was one different from a plant that only grew and waited to die.
The two of them also knew that dreams were not enough and that one had to have plans, which was why they hoped to enter Hodon college and increase their chances.
Deuce's mother had only narrowly missed out on being a representative back when she was in her twenties and she had been the main influence on the two boys wanting to participate. Hodon college was also her alma mater which added a bit of bias to their decision on where to attend college.
As they reached their homes they noticed a white horse right outside Deuce's house. The horse was rather big and was definately over two metres tall, as they circled round it they saw a golden lion badge on the horse's saddle.
Seeing the badge the boys initial curiosity turned to excitement as they new that a lion badge was the symbol of representatives from their realm and a golden lion meant that the person wan't just a representative but a past winner.
Struggling to contain his excitement Mikey was just about to touch the badge when Deuce pulled him back in a hurry.
"Are you trying to kill yourself? Even if you want to die there are better ways" said Deuce with a solemn expression on his face.
"What do you mean? I was only trying to take a look what harm could that cause?" Mikey blinked with confusion
"If you didn't speak I would forget how stupid you are sometimes. We haven't learnt to harness chi yet and you still want to touch it"

Jenny-"I want to become a doctor,but i am not sure, i can become one or not,because you know there is so much competetion,and i know myself that i am an average scoring student and i even don't know that i will be able to get a chance of one year for prepairing for medical entrance exam "

girl-"so what are your plans ,if you could not become a doctor"

Jenny-" probably,i will be a teacher,i like teaching"

girl-"what if you got a good score in medical entrance exam,then which college will you prefer for studying?"

Jenny-"i will choose Xavier medical college,of capital".

girl-"why ,why not any other college?"

Jenny-"that's because it is the oldest and top listed college of our country ,so ,i think ,what i will be able to learn here would be best."

While conversating with her friends Jenny's, eyes were randomly scanning the classroom,it was then ,when she saw Mike ,nodding his head,as if he agrees at it.

Jenny-"Was he really nodding at my statement or it was because of the notes he was reading"

She was confused thinking all this stuff, while cycling back to her home.

My heartbeat quickened, leaving me speechless. I didn't know what to say. I didn't have good practice at approaching this type of situation since I never have one.

"You?" I managed to ask.

"Yes, it's me." His accent was a killer.

"Would you like to sit?" He asked me, kindly as he pointed his finger at the sofa.

Clearing my throat and bringing back my attention. I thanked him and sat on the sofa. Our gaze was still glued to each other. And I had a feeling that this meeting was going to end up being something very interesting to talk about.

"I am Elijah Romano. In case you're wondering who you are dealing with, Miss..."

"I am Regina Westfield."

"Yes, Miss. Westfield. I am sorry to drag you here but I couldn't help wondering about your shoulder."

Disappointment must have written in my face because he quickly averted his gaze. "I am doing fine," I told him.

"I am very grateful to know." Then, he added. "Would you like to drink?"

"I have enough for tonight." I refused him.

"You're not planning on leaving soon, are you not?"

"I am not."

He nodded. As he brought the glass of drink to his lips.
I couldn't help but wonder what if I was that glass. Would he be taking me so gently in his mouth while licking me from top to button?

"You're beautiful." When the words left his mouth. I sucked the air from my lips. No one had ever called me beautiful.

As I was unable to speak, I could only stare at him. His dress shirt was white, and the black suit was looking absolutely gorgeous on him. His blue eyes were like a flame that could burn anyone alive if he stared at them for long enough. And I really liked the way that he was reading me.

My heart was throbbing. My breath was faster and my lips parted to speak on behalf of my heart, my desire but my head held my back, telling me, I shouldn't be the first one to make a move.

"What do you do Miss. Westfield?" There it was. That very question ruined everything. I was transferred back to my high school days, where I had a cover but just not the book to read.

Discarding any dirty - romantic thoughts I had for man, I started making a conversation instead, which did seem perfectly normal to him.

"I am a college student." Of course, that was a lie. I wasn't a college student. I never ever knew what it was like to be a normal kid. My history was just an intriguing story for some other time. 

"I see." He slightly nodded.

This man had a share of drink, I could tell. He was drunk, and probably controlling himself as much as I was controlling myself. But I didn't know what was holding him back. And I just found myself incapable of reading him. I mean if he was bits and zeros I would only need seconds before I decipher him. But he was a human and human being was the creature that could be harder to break through than computer code. And this man was a mystery - a dark mystery to be precious.

I blinked at him, flicked my hair to the sides, showing him my bare neck. All to distract him from looking me into my eyes than my lips and my breasts although there weren't much to look at. I was literally trying so hard to get him on the bed and he was just ignoring the fact that he desired me too.

"Do not make me remind you that we belong to the different world. You're a mafia leader for god sake. Be grateful that I am not arresting you right at this moment?" She said, blowing a strand of hair off her forehead. 

I moved my both hand forward and said. "Handcuff me all you want. I am all yours."

The college's Student Centre was not big, but it was light and airy courtesy of its high ceiling and large tempered-glass windows in every direction. Marvin Tse looked around and finally found the famous Great Hall and entered. It really was deserving of its fame. The ceiling was arched and three stories high, the tables and chairs numbered in the hundreds, and despite its simple decor everything was tastefully designed to fit a modern college of technology.

Marvin made his way around the tables and chairs in the Great Hall of the centre, while his eyes roamed around from left to right looking for a free table. None. No such thing as a free table amongst the hundreds of students in the hall. The chairs and tables were fully occupied by students who were reading, typing, discussing, while others were chatting and laughing away as they were working on assignments or reports. They made for a casual but studious atmosphere.

That was how Marvin finally realised he had forgotten how dedicated HK students were in school or college. To be fair he had only came back home from Europe half a year ago. After spending years of his life studying and living abroad in Europe, and then touring the European Continent and occasionally other parts of the world for more than a decade, was it any wonder that he struggled to familiarise himself with this bustling modern island again? After all, he was only 16 when he left, and he was already 36 today. He was practically a stranger to this island now.

This afternoon he was planning to have a quiet chat with a certain student, thinking that the atmosphere of the Great Hall would alleviate the awkwardness because they both did not know each other. But without a private space to talk comfortably such a thing would not happen. 
This was not the first time he forgot such small details in his plans either. Feeling a little put out at his own carelessness, he turned back towards the entrance, but stopped when he spotted something familiar next to it.

A grand piano. It stood quietly on small raised platform near the double door, looking all lonely in the fully-occupied room. Marvin felt a touch of pity that such a majestic instrument was neglected so. For now it was just another piece of ignored sculpture in the cavernous room. He sympathised. It felt like how he himself had been estranged by this fast-changing island of concrete jungle.

Taking his time to look the piano over, Marvin climbed up the small platform and sat on the piano's bench. It was a little dusty, but at least he had a place to sit now. He opened the keyboard's cover and found that the keys were dusty too. The keys were probably also out of tune. But… maybe he should play a bit, as a way to greet the piano and ease its loneliness.

His fingers moved of their own accord immediately after he decided. They effortlessly glided over the keys, and Mendelssohn's Songs Without Words, Op. 19 No. 1, slowly and quietly reverberated in the air. Because the piano's lid was closed, the sound it produced was further quieted. It would not do for him to disturb the students, after all. The 'song' was sweet and romantic, and for this meeting he made it sound hopeful and joyful too. Despite the 'song' only lasting a little more than 3 minutes, Marvin felt fulfilled when it ended.

Next, following the order, he was thinking of playing Op. 19 No. 2 and then No. 3. But then he noticed some students who were recording his performance on the out-of-tune piano. Disgruntled, he did not continue; instead, he looked around the common hall one more time. Finally he saw the students he was waiting for coming into the Great Hall from the other entrance at the far end. Marvin quickly stood up and headed off to meet them.

Two of the students making their way over were in his Beginner German Language class. The one trailing behind them both was supposedly Michelle Wu. Marvin looked at her closely as the group of three manoeuvred around the packed tables and chairs. Yes, that's her alright. The girl in the short clip he saw on a student's phone.

Michelle Wu was a beauty with delicate facial features, like a classic Chinese beauty. But the fact that she was dressed stylishly in a short modern dress and dainty high-heels added another facet of appeal to her. The way she walked also exuded confidence and attracted the attention of many in the room. Heads turned and mouths whispered when she walked past. Some even held up their phones to snap pictures. Michelle only smiled shyly at no one in particular as she continued forward with her back straight. She had excellent posture as she walked. It was as if she was gliding. Amazing girl, Marvin thought to himself.

"Professor Marvin Tse! Good afternoon. We're here. We brought Michelle Wu like we promised." One of them greeted him.

"Thank you, Cherrie, and Daniel. But I told you before I'm not a professor. Just an old contracted tutor. Call me Mr. Tse." Marvin felt like rolling his eyes at every student's insistence in calling him 'professor'. He did not even have a degree in German Language, for crying out loud. How could he feel alright when they referred to him as a language professor?

"Yes, Mr. Tse." They obediently answered, and then giggled. Marvin decided he did not want to know what's so funny about it.

"Hello, Miss Wu. I'm Marvin Tse, a tutor for Beginner German Language."

"Good afternoon, prof- Mr. Tse. Cherrie said you need to see me? What could I do for you?" Michelle Wu bowed her head politely at him and greeted warmly. She also nearly called him 'professor', probably because she had been instructed by these two who lead her here. Good thing she knew to correct herself quickly. His impression of her deepened.

Marvin dismissed Cherrie and Daniel first before answering her. They looked disappointed when Marvin told them to go on their way, but cheered up when he told them he would give them something nice in the next class. Perhaps a few pieces of his homemade apple pie? He could do that.

"Yes, I need to see you, Miss Wu. But first, I apologise for bothering you. Were you busy?" 

"Not really, Mr. Tse. I was only reading and relaxing in my dorm room when Cherrie came by and told me to come meet you."

"I'll take your word for that." She could really be lying about not being busy, but deeply ingrained politeness would not allow her to say the truth. Especially not to a 'professor's' face. It was a culture thing so there was nothing Marvin could do about that. "I need to talk to you privately, but I've chosen the wrong place for us to meet. Could we go somewhere else to talk?"

After a little deliberation, they ended up at the café across the street from the Student Centre. It was not popular with the student population because of its steep pricing, so there were tables available. They sat at a table in a corner and ordered coffee and juice respectively. 

"Let me introduce myself again." Marvin began again. "I am Marvin Tse, a language tutor for this college. I've only started last term though. Also, I am Nikolas Tse's uncle." Marvin smiled gently as he said this. "I need an explanation about a clip of you and Nikolas that someone posted online. It seemed to have gone viral and a lot of students were making a fuss about it. I had already asked Nikolas, but he only said "nothing like that" and refused to comment further. I really need to find out the truth. If you could be so kind and explain to me what actually happened?"

I am not a prince charming. I do what I do and I like what I like. I kept to myself and never bothered others. But others kept bothering me. Could you just please leave me alone?

Ava Wesley  was in the library to get her text books for the assignment .The deadline for  the submission   was next  week but Ava never liked to keep things for the last moment. 
Wesley's were one of the prominent families in the city. Her father is an Industrialist and her mother was a former famous model. But after her mother got married she quit modeling and concentrated on her children .

The professor used to check in detail each assignment so they were not able to copy also. So students usually were very quick to take the reference text books from the library. She went and searched the whole shelf but did not get the book which she wanted.  
Two books were already taken by her roommates so they can share it. She just needed one more book and she thought she may be late and other students have already taken it.
Then she saw a person who had her back towards her and   was holding the book which she wanted.
"Excuse me ", Ava said but he did not respond.
"Can I talk to you for a second ", Ava asked a little bit loudly to get his attention.
Hardin turned around and saw a beautiful girl and he was distracted for a second .Her face was of heart shaded with a very fair skin tone. She was thin and tall. When wind blew few strands of her black jet hair covered her face. She was just like a porcelain doll.
Hardin is good looking and the most popular guy in the college. He was intelligent and student council president. He is very arrogant as he thought he is better than everyone else .
So people always flocked around him and sometimes it irritated him as there was no privacy for him .Whether it was boys or girls they wanted to be in his good books.  He had come to library to return his books and thought of checking out other books. 
Actually he heard the first time she called but pretended not to hear.  He thought it may be some girl who wanted to flirt with him.
"Ya ", Hardin thought if he knew she was so beautiful he could have responded before only.
"Do you need the book which you are holding in your hand ", Ava asked him politely.
He was stunned for a moment and thought she is using the excuse of books to talk to him.          
"Well I do not need ", Hardin stated.
"Then can you give me the book, I needed it to complete my assignment ", Ava pleaded.
Seeing her serious expression he got to know that she really wanted the book.
 When Ava came forward to take the book from his hand, Hardin lifted the book up in the air and Ava could not reach it.
"But I need it after two days ", Hardin said with a smirk.
"No problem I will give it to you as soon as possible ", Ava said as she extended her hand to receive the book.
"Tell me your name and class so that I will only come and collet it ", Hardin said as he gave her the book
Seeing Ava speak so softly, Hardin thought how he could have missed such a beauty in the college. Hardin never bothered to know anyone, usually people used to follow him.
Although Ava is a brilliant student she used to keep a low profile in college so not many know of her.
Ava told her details and went to dorm as she was in a hurry.
Hardin smiled and thought that he did not need that book back but he wanted another chance to talk with her. So he lied. She seemed so innocent and when he talked with her he got to know that she genuinely needed that book. 
He could not take off his eyes from her and wanted to be in her presence. But he knows there will still be chances in future for him to be near her. There were many girls in college who were crazy about him and did anything to get his attention. But Hardin for the first time in his life was smitten by someone and that it Ava.
 "Are you going somewhere ", Ava's roommate asked her, seeing Ava pack her bag.
" Ya to my parents' house ", Ava replied  as she put her mac laptop and a reference textbook into her channel bag.
 "But it is not the weekend and we have a test in two days ", Ava's roommate said.
" Ya but it's an important event which my mom is forcing me to attend . Do not worry I have taken the textbook, I will be able to study for the test ", Ava checked her bag whether she needed anything else. 
Her mother called her and told Ava to come   home as she missed her daughter and in the meanwhile she can attend the wedding also.  After Ava started staying in college dorm, her mother always with one or the other reason called her home.
Ava's parents did not want their little princess to live in dorm. But Ava wanted to live her college life like any other student and she promised that she will visit them every weekend.  With her Gucci sunglasses in one hand and Channel handbag in another she went down to go to her home. 
Well today was not weekend but there was a marriage in one of the aristocratic family. All the influential people will attend the function toady. People who were invited thought it was their honor. 
Many thought that attending the Aristocratic functions means they have a chance of business or marriage partnership in the future. By the time she went down her father has sent the car to take her home.
