In the afternoon, Shi Guang received a call from Wang Caichun, inviting her for golf.
Shi Guang had some knowhows toward golf, and had previously gone with Shen Lingshuang to play for an hour. However, she had no interest in it and wanted to reject her. Yet, Wang Caichun declared, "I'm already below your dorm now!"
With no choice left, Shi Guang changed and got down.
At the luscious green range whose boundaries could not be seen, Wang Caichun swung out with an experienced motion. The small white ball spun into a beautiful arc and disappeared into the horizons.
She coughed out gently, "I seem to have used too much strength, haha!"
Shi Guang chuckled as well, "Were you trying for a home run as though this was baseball?"
"You give it a try," Wang Caichun beckoned for the caddy who handed Shi Guang a club.
"I don't know how to play," Shi Guang aimed the club at the golf ball.
Her first swing was slanted.
Her second swing struck straight. However, the ball came to a stop after rolling a meter or two.
Blinking her eyes, Wang Caichun glanced at Shi Guang. "You must not have eaten, right? Shall I bring you for a meal first?"
"Alright." Shi Guang nodded her head. She truly did not know how to play well, and neither did she love the sport. Also, she wasn't really in the mood for fun either.
Walking toward her, Wang Caichun wrapped her arms around Shi Guang's shoulders and sniggered, "If you were to take me as Lu Yanchen, would you be able to have more strength to strike at the ball as though you've already eaten?"
"Impossible!" Shi Guang slapped her hand away. "Fine, since I'm rarely here, I'll play with you properly then."
She took the club over from the caddy again and aimed toward that ball she had struck halfway earlier on. Imagining it as Lu Yanchen, she gave it a hard swing.
Instantly, the ball flew far away and landed near the hole. Rolling a little more, it landed into the hole.
"Good ball!" Wang Caichun clapped.
She walked in front of Shi Guang. "But then again, how did you suddenly gain such strength? Seems like Lu Yanchen is still the most effective medicine for you."
"Are you going to play or not? If not, I'm going to head home and sleep." Shi Guang glared at her, not wanting to chat about Lu Yanchen.
However, Wang Caichun seemed insistent on staying on the topic, asking with a gossipy face, "Aiyoyoyo, so why aren't you going home?"
"Go home for?"
Wang Caichun tapped her on the forehead. "Acting silly now, are you? That is Lu Yanchen, you know? Now that you're married to him, you should keep a close watch over him! What if he were to bring a little vixen home while you're not around?"
"If he dares to do that, I'll divorce him immediately." Shi Guang harrumphed out in grievance before walking toward the way back.
"But, you wouldn't know even if he brings one home," Wang Caichun followed while giggling.
Looking at how Shi Guang's expression was turning more terrible by the second, she added on, "But I'm joking. How could that happen? Lu Yanchen is well known for not being involved with women. Besides, Chu Mubei told me as well that for this period of time, Lu Yanchen seems as though he's bringing an air conditioner with him wherever he goes. But, the problem is that it's winter now and not summer. There's no way any girl can take that cold air he's breathing out in winter right now."
As both of them chatted and walked, Shi Guang halted to a stop, looking at two people in the range beside them. That handsome man who was dressed in all whites… Wasn't that just Lu Yanchen?
Beside him, the two people talking were Chu Mubei and Mo Yanzhi.

This is a really sweet novel about a couple that just annoys one another in the cutest ways. 
Lu Yanchen is a descendant of a powerful aristocratic military family. Cold, aloof, genius and sharp, this is a man that has it all – status, smarts and looks. But none of that matters when it comes to affairs involving his silly woman as everything melts away into an encompassing warmth.
Purple-Red Beauty is someone that spends a lot of time building the settings of her novels. Earlier on, I too was rather annoyed at some of the things that Lu Yanchen did. But once the story gets on track… everything suddenly seemed even sweeter than before!  
If any of you have heard of the Japanese manga Itazura na Kiss or have caught any of the many Japanese (Mischievous Kiss), Chinese (It Started With A Kiss) and Korean (Playful Kiss) drama reboots made for it, you will definitely love it! :P

Devin opens the door beside the closet and find a master bath, complete with ivory garden tub. The hardware in here is all bronze. The his and hers sinks are both ivory, set into gray granite counter tops. The cabinetry is all ivory as well, the same bronze color of the handles. 

The room smells of roses, and she notices an oval bowl holding dried rose petals on the back of the toilet. She empties the trash, scrubs the toilet and sink, sweeps and mops the floor, all without incident. 

The shower is already spotless, so she leaves it until it can show some use. The linens shelves, she notices, have ivory towels, washcloths, etc. The usual is here, with a small caddy holding extra toiletries. 

One dark brown oil bottle that is unmarked catches her eye. Devin picks it up, and there is an opaque liquid sloshing inside. She gently, slowly undoes the stopper, and is hit with the smell of death. 

By death, I mean literally dead flesh. She quickly stoppers the bottle and puts it back where she found it. That was one of the nastiest things she has ever smelled, and she has smelled a lot of nasty scents in her line of work, like dragon dung and zombie slime. 

She puts a note in the back of her mind to not open that bottle again, and hopes it is just some beauty regimen that Melanie uses, which Devin will never in her life do herself. 

Devin steps out of the room, and notices on her watch that it is almost noon. 'Time to cook lunch, yay…,' she thinks to herself. 

Devin heads to the kitchen, but before she gets started, decides to ask Mike what he would like for lunch. As she approaches his office, Devin overhears him in a heated discussion. She decides to pause outside the door to listen. 

"I know we lost sales last quarter, that is why—", banging on the desk, "I will not take you mouthing off to me James! I am your brother first!" The phone slams down on the receiver. Devin realizes that he has a desk phone she had not noticed before. Mental note: check his caller id. 

Devin enters the room with a knock, and Mike practically jumps out of his skin. 

"Oh, I am so sorry. I hope you didn't hear any of that." 

Devin feigns ignorance, "Hear what? I just got here. I was wondering what you would like for lunch. Do you have any preferences? Also, what should I make for dinner?" Devin sits down in the chair across from Mike to wait on his answer but just as she finishes the question the phone rings again. 

Mike snatches it up, "Hello? What now James? You are sorry? Sure, whatever. Look, we have to get a new strategy in place, and we need to work fast if we are going to recoup our losses," he suddenly remembers Devin is in the room. 

Looking up, "Hold on a minute James," he covers the receiver, "please make whatever you would like. I am not a picky eater. Also, make a vegetarian dish for Sarah. Her mother insists she only eat vegetarian, and she has grown accustomed to it. Thank you Devin." 

Mike returns to his call is Devin's queue to leave. She heads back to the kitchen, opens the fridge, and pulls out an array of vegetables, along with some sliced chicken. She makes Sarah's meal first, a hearty salad, and then makes salads with shredded chicken for herself and Mike. She walks over and opens the pantry door to look for some croutons or that shakeable bottle of fake bacon, and finds the shelves are slightly off centered, and a light is showing from a crack on the right side of the wall, like it opens...

Devin hurriedly closes the door, planning to return momentarily, and takes Mike his lunch.  "Mike, how do I get Sarah's food to her?" she asks. He blanches, realizing that Devin didn't know what to do. "I will take it to her," he tells her. She mentally sighs in relief that she closed the pantry door, because he gets up and goes straight to the kitchen to get her food. He takes it to her, motioning for Devin to stay in the kitchen. 

She listens, hears the back-hall door open, "Sweetie, I have lunch for you."
 
A kind, melodious voice responds, "Thank you Daddy. Is it the new maid that made this?"

Mike responds, "Yes sweetie."

 "Can I come meet her?" the voice that must be Sarah pleads. 

"Ms. Devin knows the rules. Mom doesn't allow you to meet the new maids until dinner."
 
Whining, "Please? I just want to talk to her, so I am not alone." 

Exasperation in his voice, "Look, if you come to the kitchen, I will allow you to meet her, but only for five minutes." 

"Thank you, Daddy!" she exclaims. Devin hears footsteps running down the hall. 

What comes into the kitchen is the farthest thing from what Devin expected Sarah to look like. A tall, dark-haired girl with big brown eyes walks in, smiling at her with a dazzling white smile. "Hi, I'm Sarah!" she pipes out. She sits down at the table, and looks at Devin, "Did you find everything in your room to your liking?" Feeling the question below the surface, Devin nods, "Why yes, I did thank you, Sarah. It is nice to meet you, too." Devin sees a wave of relief go over her. Sarah must have been worried sick about her mom finding that letter she left for Devin. 

Sarah beams at Devin, "I am so glad you liked it! One of the few things I am allowed to do is decorate for the maid. I though the room would be comforting and cozy with those decorations!" She smiles and continue, "Also, thank you for the salad, it looks great! I left it in my room, so that I can eat there." She looks down, "I would eat with you, but I am not supposed to be out around others while I am sick…" 

Her dad clears his throat, "Okay Sarah, time to go." He gently coaxes Sarah up out of her seat by the arm and leads her back to her end of the house. Devin hears a mumbled "Don't tell your Mom about this," from Mike, and the door shuts. Devin shakes herself out of the stupor that put her in, and decides to eat her salad. No croutons today...

After finishing lunch and washing the dishes, Devin checks to see what Mike is up to. He is on another phone call, and it seems to be tying him up well enough, so she decides to check out that pantry again, while tidying up the kitchen after lunch. When she opens the door, the shelves are level, and the light and crack are gone. "Oh great. Now I don't know how to get that back," she mumbles. She moves the herbs and boxes around, pulls on the shelves, pushes, wiggles, all to no avail. 'It won't budge.  I missed out on this part of the mystery.,' Devin thinks to herself.

She resigns to finishing the cleaning of the house, dusting the living room and Mike's office, cleaning the guest bathroom, and finally settling down to do laundry. She realizes she doesn't know where the laundry room is, so she goes to ask Mike. It's about 3:00 pm, and he is napping when she walks in. Okay, no laundry now, but I can check out that study of Melanie's. 

Devin walks back down the hall, quietly picks the lock, and opens the door. The smell of gardenias attacks her as she slips in and closes the door behind her.

Devin hurriedly walks over to the table and gently picks up the rolled up, as she now sees, scroll-like parchment. As Devin unrolls the parchment, dread comes over her. Not again, she tells herself, as she reads the words of a blending curse. She can tell it is a temporary one, but it is strong, and even though it's temporary, if enacted enough, it can become long lasting, almost permanent. Why do I always have to deal with the blending curses! This curse is one part of why Mike's daughter turns into a beast…She rolls the scroll back up and put it back exactly as she found it.

Being in a specialized field that is not supposed to exist, Devin Locksdale can never catch a break. From hunting vampires to drowning evil mermaids, she has done it all, and outside the eyes of the regular population.

When Devin is called to a regular home in a common neighborhood about a child that changes into a beast at night, she finds her hands are more than full. She has to not only figure out how to help this girl, who LIVES WITH HER FAMILY, but also keep the neighbors from finding out!

Sister, I was next to you whole night, don't you remember? Little one said with a surprised tone. 

Yunsu smiled; Yes, I remember.
although she said that she remember, but  she did not even remember when she fall asleep and who was next to her. 

Sister, you know I awaken early, and I want you woke up too but you were looking an angel when you were sleeping, so I changed my mind. little one nagged. 

Yunsu pull down him on the bed plus start tickling. You little monkey. You have become skilled with words huh.

"Ha..ha..ha. ..sister I'm telling the truth. don't do it, it's tickling."

 And the whole room filled with his laughter. "Sister, please please..." 
 "You big fate liar."
Yunsu stopped.

"No sister, I swear, you were really  looking  like an angel." 

"OK...ok,  now stop planting butter on me. let's go"

"For shower."

Are we going together? sister! he asked puzzledly. 

"So what, if we go" yunsu replied. 

"Noooo" A long no comes out from his mouth. How can I take a shower with you, I'm a big boy now. he muffed.

 With dazzlness she looked at him up to down. he is not even reached at 3 ft and he is saying he become big. 
"you not even reach my waist and you are saying you grow up?" she respond and then holds him under her arms walked towards the bathroom.

"No sister. I don't want to shower with you."
 

he was twisting right left in her arms. For making him little clam she spoke up: "Champ, we  are not going together but at least brush your teeth with me."

And after taking shower both of them come down.

Grandma and old man were talking with each other. a sweet voice ringed in their ears. both of them turn around, they noticed little one and Yunsu coming near,

Old man and Grandma adapt astonished. 

Yunsu?  a perplex tone grandma named,  
"Good morning grandma and Mr Feng"

She greeted them again. old man, inspected her with the unsatisfied look.

No..I mean grandpa, she quickly changed her word.
old man simper to see her action. "hmm good morning," he greets her back. 

Grandma quickly waved her hand and offered her to sit beside her. yunsu walk towards her and sat beside her, little one sat on her lap. 

Grandma, hold her hand in her hand,
 "child are you really alright?" she asked worry clearly showing in her tone.

Yunsu pulled her hand with shock.
Grandma astonished by her sudden action.

when grandma hold her hand, it's felt  nauseated, that disgusting feeling. But when little one hugged me I didn't feel anything like why?. she questioned herself.


"That. .I ..I just" Realising  her impolite behaviour she tried  to explain her sudden action but grandma stopped her in middle with a sweet smile she put her hand on her head and said;  child I know you didn't do it on purpose,
Don't worry and  take your time we are always here for you. 

Yunsu eyes filled up, Grandma hand was warm, it's giving the same feeling when her dad  touched her head. 

Comforting her, by patting her head  grandma repeat her words  "it's  alright, it's  alright su."

Everyone become  silent for some time, She leaves a deep breath and herself clam,  after while she broke the silence and speak up grandma,  "I'm going to do MBA."

Grandma becomes dumpfounded. What happened all of sudden? MBA? Now? To think she came at night to dinner with everything  and in the morning she talked normally, that the good sign but her recent action was completely erratic. she  gets disgust if someone touch her, then why suddenly she wants to attend college. like this in college, things not going to easy at all. 


To see her action old man also feel same way.

Jhummi dropped Suhani at her home and went to her home, Neel parked the car behind the house, Jhummi and Neel picked all bags and headed inside, Jhummi's mother opened the door for the, her mother opened her mouth in shock as she saw the bags in their hands, she quickly ran near them and holds some of the bags from their hands, "what is this, you guys bought whole shop I guess, look at your condition, how much money you had spent", her mother asked, "relax mom, it was all in discount, so we didn't spend much", said Neel and his mother knows he is lying, but she didn't ask again, "you know mom, we shopped a lot and I am so happy", said Jhummi in excitement, "by the way when is your trip, I mean what is the date", her mother asked, "mom, the date is not fixed yet but the probability is next week" said Jhummi in excitement.
"I wish you all the best for your trip, have a lot of happiness and fun, my wishes are with both of you", said her mother and hugged them both, and went to her room.
"Let's take our bags to our rooms", said Jhummi and Neel picked the bags and both went to their rooms, Jhummi went to take a shower, as she came out, her phone was ringing, Suhani was calling continuously from last ten minutes, "Hello, said Suhani, today's day was awesome right, we bought a lot of things, this trip will be incredible", she continued, "of course, I am happier too, I am so excited for this trip, but I am little afraid, I just hope that no one creates any problem, because according to that boy if he did something, how I will manage there because Neel would be there with us, what I will tell him if he asks anything", said Jhummi,  "and Ayan is also coming on the trip, what if he did something which he shouldn't do in front of Neel, then what I will do", she continued with the tensed tone, "don't worry, when he will see Neel with us, he wouldn't do anything and we will enjoy our trip without any tension", said Suhani and cheers her, "now sleep, we are hell tired and we have to come college so lets sleep, I'll see you tomorrow, be ready on time, I'll pick you", said Jhummi and Suhani agreed and cut the call. Next day Jhummi's phone was ringing continuously, she was still sleeping, as she heard her phone's beep, she woke up slowly rubbing her eyes and picked her phone, "Hello, said Jhummi in a sleepy voice, "where the hell are you Jhummi, I am calling you from last half an hour, I am waiting for you, we are late for college, what are you doing", Suhani yelled from the other side as Jhummi picked the phone.
"I am so sorry Suhani, I don't know my alarm didn't ring and I was so tired last night so I couldn't wake up early, just give me fifteen minutes and I'll come to pick you okay", said Jhummi and cut the call, she quickly went to take a shower and wore a white crop top with black jean, she made a messy bun of her hair with flat black slippers, she went downstairs and saw her mother was cleaning the dining table.
"why you didn't wake me up, I am so late today, Suhani is waiting for me for so long", said Jhummi to her mother in a complaining tone, "I knocked your door so many times but you didn't open the door, Neel also called you so many times, but you were in heavily sleeping, so Neel left for his college otherwise he would be late also", said her mother and smiled, "what he left me alone, oh god now I'll be later", screamed Jhummi and quickly pick one sandwich from the plate and ran outside, she was finding the keys of the car but she couldn't find it, she cursed herself under her breath, she is already late and now keys are lost, "what are you finding", her mother asked her, "mom, last night we bring Suhani's car so I could pick her but now I couldn't find the keys", said Jhuumi, "I guess you should ask Neel, may be he took the car", her mother said, "what!! Jhummi screamed so loud, she dialed Neel's number and after three rings Neel picked the call, "Hello, said Neel, " have you taken the car"??? Asked Jhummi without even saying hello, "of course, you pick me from college yesterday, so my bike was there, so I am outside at Suhani's house and I'll drop her college, I didn't have any other option, how would I go otherwise", said Neel in a casual tone, "you didn't think even once that how I would go, nor you wait for me, you are so mean", said Jhummi, "come on, do a cab and go, not a big deal okay", said Neel and cut the call.
"Unbelievable, Jhummi cursed herself and left the house with blabbering, she was walking on the road with an angry and serious face, she was finding a taxi, she was finding her phone in her bag but she couldn't find it, she remembers that she put her phone on charge before went to take a shower, she again made an angry face, she can't book a cab now, so she was walking quietly, what a day it was there was not a single taxi on the road. 
As Jhummi was lost in her world, a black car was following her on the main road, she didn't notice that car until the car stopped near her feet, "what the fuck", Jhummi was about to scream but she becomes quiet as she saw Ayan was inside, Jhummi ignored him and walked away but Ayan again followed her, "why the hell you are following me Ayan, I am already late, I don't have time to waste on you now", said Jhummi and again walked away, Ayan jumped out from his car and holds her, "I am also going to college, come with me please", said Ayan but Jhummi pulled her hand back, "no thank you, I can go by myself", said Jhummi, "but today is a strike, you will not find any taxi", said Ayan, "so what, I can manage", said Jhummi and walked away, but Jhummi can't bear sunlight, she rethought Ayan's word, if she will walk more than half an hour she wouldnt reach college on time, and what if she faint in this sunlight, she thought she turned her head and saw Ayan was still standing  there, she quickly went back and sat in his car.

HE always wants to wins over her but he knows deep in his heart that She's one for him always.

Ah my back hurts. I need to exercise more from now on now that I'm living alone. There are still so many boxes that needs to be unpack and be organize. 

*knock knock* 

"Hmm.. I wonder who would be coming during this time of the day?"

"Ya, Chubby!! Are you inside? It's Taeyang. Open the door, I got us pizza!" 

"Pizza?! Pizzas" ~ <3 (Soo Young skipping to the door, open the door, Taeyang enters with pizza and bags of stuff)

"You're only excited for the pizza huh? Oh right, your mom made me bring in some side dishes for you. I'll put it in the fridge while you eat."

"Thank you oppa, but aren't you going to eat with me?" 

"Don't worry about me, just eat. I'll join once I finished loading your fridge"

*Stuffing a slice of pizza in her mouth, the mozzarella cheese that stretches and quickly got gobble up from a hungry child*

"Oppa, how long are you going stay? Will you help me put up the heavy furniture before you leave?" 

"Why did you think I came here for?"

"Oooh, you sound so grown up" 

"I mean I am a man now" 

"My ass, your still the little boy I met. Oh right, when are you planning to go to the military?"

"After I graduate from college. I only have 2 years left." 

"That sounds good too. But why right after college though? Won't that make it harder for you to find a job after you come back?" 

"I don't know. Sometimes I wonder why I didn't go before I enter college so that we both can go to college together. But..." 

"It's okay oppa, I'm done eating. Let's get started with these heavy boxes over here. Will you help me carry it to my room?" 

"Sure. What's in here?"

"My books and study stuff"

"Alright I'm leaving since we're done here. Call me if you need me okay?" 

"Alright, have a goodnight. Be safe!"

*walking to the  bed room, throws her body to the bed, and slowly close her eyes from exhaustion*

I wonder why oppa... ugh forget it. Next week will be the first week of college. I better do my best. 

*open her eyes and scan the room* 

It's so quiet living alone. I'll be fine. I better go take a quick shower and head to bed to start off a early day tomorrow to finished the rest of the packages.

"Make sure you don't trip over your own pile of stuff over there"

"Huh? Where" (walking backward)

Soo Young's back hit the wall where a box cutter that was use to open boxes fell above from the wall shelf. Taeyang ran over to take cover grabbing the box cutter.

His body hover over Soo young's, as she realize how small she is in her position compare to his. 

"Didn't I tell you to be careful?" (-_- )

"My bad" (0.0)

(As I stand up to him, his height isn't the same anymore. Why haven't I realize this? His hand that hold the box cutter are bigger than mine. *Look up to gaze at him* He still the same, jus—)

"What are you looking at? Be careful jeesh, alright since we're done putting these heavy boxes away I'm leaving" 

"Thank you oppa" 

— Flashback —

"What was that? I really didn't notice his changes. Puberty hit him that hard and I didn't even see it. Ahhh... I should hurry to bed" 

— End of the Chapter —

Kim Soo Young is a college student who will be living on her own. Taeyang as her childhood friend is worried about how her living conditions will be as she only knows how to cook ramen! They both goes to different college, and this is a love story of two people unconsciously falling for each other and hurting each other without knowing.

It was 3 pm when cheery reached her home, her mother welcomed her as soon as she entered, she was curious to know about her daughter's first experience of college, her mother asked cheery a lots of questions regarding her college and classmates but cheery answered with only one word which was"good".
After hearing her one word answer cherry's mother wasn't disappointed, she is used to with her daughter's less spoken habit.
cherry's mother stopped asking her further questions and told her to have food but cheery refused her saying that she had eaten at college cafeteria with classmates. Hearing this cherry's mother became happy,she thought finally her daughter is trying to get along with people.
Looking at her mother's happy face cheery dragged a smile on her lips forcefully and entered into her room.
As soon as cherry entered her room she put down her bag and started crying again on her bed covering her mount with a pillow.
"It was my first kiss,how can someone whom I don't even know snach it from me" said  cheery in her mind while crying.
the more she though about the incident the more she got scared and angry. 
cheery was crying until she got tired, after crying for long time cheery looked at the clock and found it was already 7pm.suddenly she felt hungry, then she remembered that she didn't have lunch today. After thinking for a while cheery decided to take bath and had dinner. around 8.20 pm cheery finished her dinner and climbed up on her bed, she was scared about the thought of going college next day.She can't remove the incident from her find, she took a deep breath and said in her mind "I will not going to appear infront of that devil, I have to stay as far as possible from him". cheery was planning to avoid Daniel and suddenly fall sleep.

In the meantime Daniel's situation :
Daniel locked himself in his room since he got back home this afternoon, he nor had lunch neither dinner, he didn't even have shower,
all he thought about the incident, he was getting crazy by thinking why he did this.
he is getting more crazy about the thought of his feeling guilty. his housemaids were trying to stimulate the courage to call him for dinner but failed. they knew his temper very well, Daniel clearly said them not to disturb him for anything. 
It was 11.50 pm when Daniel finished his shower and climbed on his bed empty stomach but he didn't feel hungry at all. 
He was trying his best to forget everything and decided to sleep. just as soon as he closed his eyes a girl's face appeared in his mind, a girl with sliky black long hair, her deep shy eyes, her tears, her little nervous face, her soft pink lips which was as sweet as honey.
suddenly Daniel shockingly opened his eyes set down.
"F*ck!  what the hell!  why I am thinking about that girl?,why I am feeling her lips?, why I am feeling sad for her shedding tears,?" Daniel screamed all these questions in his mind and couldn't find an answer. every time he closed his eyes cherry's image appeared in his mind.
After trying for 2 hours Daniel failed to sleep, then he got down from bed and grabbed a packet of cigarette, Daniel started smoking  one after another and thought about the girl with soft lips. His handsome face was glowing with the moonlight coming from his window. it was the longest sleepless night for Daniel.

Cheery a 19 years old innocent cute shy girl who never date, never let any boy get close to her, suddenly got a kiss from a stranger in her first day of college and her life change dramatically, that stranger is the most popular devil boy of her campus.This is how  the love strory of a devil boy with shy cheery begins.

 Lily only smiled when she heard Yang Mi's words. As malicious as it may seem, Lily actually agreed with Yang Mi. Qiao Qiao deserves it. "Ask someone to bring me more fruits." She said. Lily does not need to think about Qiao Qiao anymore. "Ask someone to watch Yu Jing's moves."
"Yu Jing?" Yang Mi asked. She always thought Yu Jing was just someone who Qiao Qiao used and manipulated. So why do they also need to watch that man?
"Hmmm… in fact. I want you to call Jingren and tell him to watch everyone in the Yu Family." She uttered as she stifled a yawn. "Tell them to bring the fruits to my room." She rose from her seat and walked towards their master's bedroom. Lily felt exhausted.
'This is proof that talking to a brain-dead person will exhaust you' she uttered inwardly and yawn.
After a few hours of sleeping, Lily woke up and decided to enjoy the rest of the day pampering herself. So she prepared a nice hot bath and decided to read a book as she enjoyed the jacuzzi.
"President," Yang Mi's soft voice made Lily frowned. She clearly told her that she does not want to be disturbed unless it's Zhou Jingren or it's something important.
"Come inside," she said and put her book at the caddy tray on the tub. "What is it?�� she shifted her head to look at the frowning Yang Mi.
"Someone is insisting to see you," Yang Mi's brows were creased, she pursed her lips. "I already told her that you are busy. She still insisted that she will wait until you are not busy. She said this has something to do with the community in The Peak. I already made some research about it and knew that this is mainly composed of wives of the people living in this place. It was like a club of married women living here."
"Who is this?"
"Jiang Ruo of the Yu Family. She introduced herself as the President of the community." Yang Mi sneered. "Forgive me President but I have to disturb you and tell you about this matter. The woman was pretty insistent on telling you. I feel like… It was as if… she needed something."
"Yu Family…" Lily uttered. "Alright… since she wanted to wait… then let her wait." She sighed. Why do people keep on disturbing her?
Then slowly, Lily's eyes widened. It was as if… she just had a Eureka moment. She then grabbed her phone on the caddy and dialed Zhou Jingren's number.
"I just had the best idea." She said excitedly.
"Hmmm?" His gentle voice reached her ears. "What is it?"
"Did you know that the word Pac came from the Latin word that means peace? Or to agree?" she asked. "My point is… this is where the word the Pacific Ocean came from. It was said that Ferdinand Magellan named it the Pacific Ocean because it was a peaceful ocean."
"He was wrong." He answered.
"I know!" she retorted. "That is not my point."
She heard Zhou Jingren's deep chuckle. Lily immediately pouted. "Listen to me."
"I am listening."
"There's this… group of islands in the Pacific that is a part of Micronesia. Its call the Marshall Islands. It's a group of small islands. Have you heard about it?"
"Hmmm. I did. Why?"
"You know… I was just asking." Lily actually thought that living on a small island alone would be very good for them. However, now that she thought about it carefully, it has its own negative side too! While people could not disturb them anymore, it will be very hard for her to move around for her business!
She can't just spend her life on an island and leave her business alone. "I — I was asking because I thought, you didn't know." Like a candle losing its light, Lily felt that the enthusiasm that she felt earlier vanished.
"I have read about it." Zhou Jingren answered. "You are bored?"
"A little." She sighed. "I want to work."
"You still have to wait."
"I know." Her baby is already eight weeks. She still needed to wait for another month before she could move around more. She let out another sigh. "Are you busy?"
"I am having a meeting."
Zhou Jingren's words immediately made her speechless. Meeting? He answered her nonsense call when he was in a meeting?
"Oh… then I end the call now. I will see you… later?" Once again, Lily heard Zhou Jingren chuckle on the other line.
"Alright…" she added. "I love you."
"I'll see you later. I love you more."
After the call ended, Lily could not stop herself from giggling. If her guess was right, the man must be sitting in front of his subordinates while talking to her.
"Hey Yang Mi?" she eyed the woman standing by the door wearing her signature black suit. "Do you think… I am a spoiled wife?" she asked.
"Yes."
"…"
Lily widened her eyes for a few seconds. Before she burst into a puddle of laughter. Yang Mi didn't even batting an eyelid before she answered her.
"But you deserve it." Yang Mi continued, her face was stoic. In response, Lily smiled and nodded. 
"Grandmother trained you well." She said before she gestured for her to leave the room and tell that Jiang Ruo to wait for her. Since that woman wanted to wait… then let her wait.
And true to her words. It took Lily over forty minutes to finish bathing. Then another ten minutes just to pick up a delicate dress. Another twenty minutes to fix her hair and makeup and finally, ten more minutes in taking the right picture that she could send to her husband.
For Lily, the last step was very crucial. She needed to send her husband those photos to entice him to come home early. Because of this, she took another five minutes in sorting through the photos on her phone.
Then with her red lips and perfectly curled hair, Lily marched out of her room and into the terraces wondering if the woman was still there waiting for her.

"So? What do you want as a compensation?" Zhuo Jingren asked her once again before laying down next to her. His elbow was resting on the ground and his palm was supporting his head as he looked at her intently. 

The first thing that Lily noticed about Zhuo Jingren when he laid next to her was his exposed tanned chest. This made him look more casual… and hot. She didn't even realize she was staring at the latter.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" He smirked at her. "Do you want me to compensate you with my body?"

Lily immediately rolled her eyes at the latter. "Who wants your body? Hmp! I want money!"

"Your mind is always thinking of money but your body actually betrays you. Am I right to say that I have a shameless wife?"

"Hah! I am a strong and independent woman of the 21st century. I know what I want. But if you insist on giving your body, I will take it too!" Lily shamelessly said, taking off her stilettos. However, just when Lily was about to lie down beside Zhuo Jingren, he suddenly pulled her on top of him. With her body on top of his, their faces were really close and they could even feel each other's breath. 

"What a shameless woman," he noted, the smile on his face only deepened.
