An enlarged version of an ape, hairy and ripped. It's heavy breathing and stubborn earthshaking movement is already scary enough. Not to mention its colossal figure was partly eaten away by the dense tree that encase the area. Only it's daunting bright eyes remains untouched. 

Crack-

The cliche moment of a crunchy twig breaking into two parts. "Crap-" The eyes of the ape slouched towards the origins of a sound. It seems another meal had just fallen in front of its knees. It started to beat its chest mimicking a gorilla, smacking and gibbering. Soon, a once slow shake started to increase rapidly in both speed and intensity. Its friends had arrived. 

1,2,3... 7,8,9,10

A total of 10 brethren arrived at the scene, I wonder how did they make it this far without killing each other? Each looked identical to the previous one (not a racist statement), each holds an identical weapon and an identical face. 

They surrounded their meal. Eyeing closely on their every movement and twitches. They raised their weapons in sync, there was an open space for anyone to attack them in those few but precious seconds (Is this some kind of Metroid game from 1986?), their arms crash down like waves forming fissures on the ground. This makes their attackers(meal) hard to maneuver in this terrain.

Their attackers were just as fierce as them, they did not accidentally stumble here, but instead with the intent to slay them for their juicy loot. Which such horrible reaction time one of them eventually dropped. This causes the rest of the apes to rage. Roaring in rage and doing some kind of illusion trick that makes them multiply in numbers (Bunshin no Jutsu?!). 

They may seem large in numbers but their extra numbers are easily deleted with area of effect magic damage. Not before long, they fall one after another just like the fall of the titans. 

Eddy: (praise) Your detection abilities is superb, to be able to spot a Sasquatch cave with a flick of finger is a miracle.

Emyrs: (his lips curve up an inch) I was just lucky.

Natsumi: (exploded with joy) Look at all this treasure, we are going to be rich!

Sarah: (breaks in) We are on a quest remember? It is not ours to begin with, we should talk about splitting it.

Natsumi: (disappointed) You're no fun, I was enjoying that moment...

Eddy: You guys did the hard work, it is only rightful that it belongs to you guys.

Natsumi: Really?! Thank you, Imagine all the clothes I can buy!

Russell: (at the same time) Really?! All the beautiful wo-

A large fat club slammed down on Russell's head knocking him unconscious.

Alice: (hugs the unproportionally sized club) pervert, die!

Emyrs: (turns away from all the usual chaos) That's very generous of you.

Eddy: (chuckles) I get that a lot. You know, you have very unique team members here. It makes things lively.

Emyrs: It sure does. I always though all teams are like this, I guess not.

Eddy: (casually) Most teams are dead serious all the time. Have you not join a team before this?

Emyrs: I do things alone. I like it that way but I guess this isn't bad either.

Eddy: It must have been tough.

Emyrs: More so mentally... It's getting late. Why don't we rest somewhere near here. The Sasquatch won't be coming back soon.

Eddy: Not a bad idea. I'll set up the fire. Could your team help with the gathering of food and setting up the tents (yes, tents are a thing here)(also include a spell that makes outsiders virtually impossible to find the place they are at [(C)rest zone])

Emyrs: (Nodded) Alright, everyone gather here!

Not before long the kindling was lit and fire started. Smoke raised and hearty stew made. The night was starless but the tents and flame warded the night away. It was a sound and silent night of beautiful dreams. However not everyone was sound asleep, a silhouette slip in the midst of the night to an unshaded area where the weak moonlight was able to reach the sacred land.

Eddy: (laying comfily on the woolly grass) There is no need to be sneaky, I can see you clearly.

Emyrs: I wasn't hiding, there wasn't a need to.

Eddy: (pat a side of the grass, indicating Emyrs to come here) If you say so, what brings you here late at night?

Emyrs: You already know.

Eddy: (laughs) I never knew you are a person you liked to watch an empty night sky.

Emyrs: It's appreciating nature.

Eddy: Right, you know I had always wished to become an adventurer just like you guys?

Emyrs: What made you stop pursuing your dreams?

Eddy: As admiring an adventurer is, I had to follow my father footsteps.

Emyrs: (slightly curious) As?

Eddy: (tease) Make a guess.

Emyrs: (nonchalantly) An intelligent.

Eddy: Close, a political intelligent.

Emyrs: (laid back) Looks like you had other motives when asking us to work for you.

Eddy: No, I told the truth. I needed the silver thorn for my superior.

Emyrs: So it was a side mission.

Eddy: Yeah, that's why I picked your team.

Emyrs: (curious) Aren't you afraid that spilling out all this would lead to bad consequences for you?

Eddy: Is there a point of hiding information to someone who knows more about you than you know more of them? As a trained intelligent, I'm never afraid of consequences, neither good or bad.

Emyrs: Who do you work for?

Eddy: The king.

Emyrs: Aren't you betraying the king then?

Eddy: why?

Emyrs: You just told me your superior without hesitation.

Eddy: It's not like I can hide anything from you.

Emyrs: Fair enough. I'm getting tired, I might as well go to sleep.

Eddy: Aren't you going to banish me? I'm a spy after all.

Emyrs: As long as you don't annoy me, I couldn't careless. (walked towards the shadows before disappearing as unnoticed as he arrived.)

Eddy: (mumble) That's someone you can't mess with. If the king is able to get him to our side, we would be unstoppable in the future.

Emyrs, a 17 year old boy, was summoned into the unknown world called Eceth. He found himself as the last god of the god race and he has been lying dormant since the mysterious end of the era of gods. He sets himself to enjoy the world he is in and that is through traveling and sightseeing the wonders of the world of Eceth. He mets new companions and annoying "flies" on the way. This was my first ever novel, therefore it is not be professional but is very flexible.

While many people were still morning about the sudden death of their favorite artist, a man is currently having a good night sleep. In his dreams he was with his whole family eating dinner together.
"Mom you're really the best when it comes to cooking, the food in our canteen does mot taste good at all". Xiao Yang praised his mom happily.
"Really? If that's the case I will going to pack you food everyday, although it might not be as plenty as the food your canteen provides atleast you will be able to enjoy your food" Xiao Yang's mom said as she put more food to the plate of her family members. 
 The family continue to eat harmoniously when suddenly.... "Wake up, Wake up it's already morning, the sun is rising". Stardust voice echoed inside the bedroom which wake Xiao Yang up from his deep slumber. 
Remembering his dreams he recall the moments when he was still with his family 5 years ago before he entered the showbiz world. Even though they're not rich they're still happy, they're living a simple life but they were showered with love. Thinking about those days made him smile but it also make him sad. He now realized that he badly misses those days.
"Stardust what's the latest news today?" Xiao Yang asked while he was heading to the living room.
"X.Y there has been news that you were DEAD". Stardust replied.
"What? How is that even possible when I'm here standing in front you?" Xiao Yang asked confusingly.
"It is said that your car has been hit by a ten-wheeler truck which causes it to be burnt down. Your and Lan Ling's  remains were also burnt down to the extent that it was unrecognizable. Many people speculate that it was you and Lan Ling who died in the car crash and the police announces that it was confirmed to belong to both of you because of the circumstantial evidence that were gathered and your other personal belongings that were found at the scene". Stardust said as she read the news from yesterday.
Xiao Yang was dumb-founded when he heard the news, all this time when the people were mourning, he was here in his house sleeping deeply, he didn't have any clue that the world out there were in chaos. Thinking about how did it end up to be like this, he recalled what happen yesterday. While they were on their way home a man suddenly appear out of nowhere in front of their car causing his manager/ driver to immediately step on the brake. The fear that they might have hit the person, they went out of the car to check if something is wrong but suddenly the man pulled out gun from his pocket and other man came from behind was also pointing his gun towards them.
"Give me your money and cellphones otherwise I'll shoot you in the head" the man infront said while pointing the gun in their head".
Xiao Yang and Lan Ling look at each other. Although Xiao yang can fight we're still talking about the gun also they don't to cause any trouble for themselves so it's best to surrender, their safety is the most important.
"Okay, okay we're easy to talked with. Here take it, you can also have this watch of mine." Xiao Yang said calmly.
The robbers were glad that they get what they want easily. Thinking about the situation the other robber behind them got more greedy. 
"Now give us your car keys, we need it to escape", he said.
Xiao Yang and Lan Ling sigh, they thought that those robbers really know how to do their job well. 
"Bro just give them the keys so that we can now go home." Xiao Yang said to Lan Ling.
Following his order Lang Ling give the keys after that the two robbers immediately fled the scene.
"Looks like we run out of luck today Xiao Yang", Lan Ling said jokingly.
"Hahaha well that's how life is, I can't be that lucky everyday." Xiao Yang answered.
"You're right, good thing we're almost at house, only a few blocks away otherwise we will walk a very long way". Lan Ling answered.
When they reach Xiao Yang's house they decided to celebrate they're unexpected encounter today. They drink until midnight and because of that Lan Ling didn't went back to his house and end up sleeping in the living room that's why they don't have any idea on what's happening outside.
Unexpectedly, their unfortunate experience yesterday turns out to be their scapegoat from death. The robbers from yesterday became their lifesaver, maybe in life there is really a good and bad karma. It seems like the robbers already paid a very big price for the crime they have committed. It cost them to lose their lives, it looks like they not only stole money and things from them, they also stole their fate.
On the other hand, Lan Ling who had just woken up turned on the television and what greets him is the news about their tragic death and how the people were reacting because of this  he immediately become sober.
"Xiao Yang have you heard about the news already?" Lan Ling said while walking towards Xiao Yang.
"Yes Stardust already told me". Xiao Yang replied.
"I don't know if I should be happy or not. It's great that we survived and what happened to us yesterday saves us but it already causes a huge sensation. Thinking about it, we can just appear in front of them and explain everything, I'm sure they will understand and it will surely make you a hot topic again and will improve your popularity. What do you think about it?" Lan Ling suggested, just thinking about his plan makes him happy, he thought of it as a perfect plan.
Xiao Yang on the other hand already have something on his mind that's why he said with determined look and mischievous smile "Don't worry I already have a plan in my mind." 
Hearing him say that, Lan Ling can't help but worry.

Xiao Yang is a famous artist with a promising career but due to an accident he vanished from the entertainment industry. No one will ever expect that he changes his identity and entered into a university. Wanting to experience the normal life again, far from the cameras that always followed him and seeking for real friendship. He embraces the new life and started his adventure as a college student. Will he be able to achieved his goal without exposing his real identity and be able to find someone who can accept the hidden truth about him?

Getting back to the room I had claimed as my own was an easy enough affair. That said it took me long enough to get back home that the sun had fallen below the horizon and by the time I was back inside of the Silver Xana night had come out and overtaken the strange land I found myself in. 

In my room, I sat on my bed and closed my eyes. I allowed my mind to drift for a second, as I wanted to give the system a fair chance to speak to me before I began to reach out to creatures I had influence over. 

[So do you feel ready to begin to dive into more dreams tonight?] The system, my long-time companion, asked me. I nodded, even with my eyes closed, a confident smirk on my face. 

"Yes I do. I feel... more powerful today. I want to begin to do the work of acquiring worshippers." I told the one figure in my life who knew the truth of my nature. A part of me knew I'd be changing that today. 

[We can feel the excitement radiating off of you. It makes sense for you to be excited, the you of today is both smarter and stronger than the you of yesterday. Do you think you might gain a worshiper or two tonight?] The voice asked me, curiosity audible in its voice. I wasn't arrogant. 

I shook my head before I began to explain why I didn't think tonight would be the night I gained a worshiper. "I don't think so. I think tonight is the night I begin to gain an understanding of what it'll take for me to acquire worshipers." I told it, not bothering to take a breath until the end of my second sentence. 

"And I think tonight might be the night I meet some of the first creatures to become worshipers of mine. But I'd be surprised if tonight is the night I actually gain worshipers." I continued, not daring to be arrogant right now. 

[That isn't a bad response. It's a humble one, which almost always helps a response be not that bad. That's definitely the proper attitude to have going into this sort of thing, so that's absolutely a good sign.] My odd friend told me, recognizing the humbleness in my answer to it. 

I grinned, but not before receiving a pleasant surprise from my ally and frequent partner. [We're going to go ahead and partially unlock your faith domain powers. You'll find that one of them, in particular, will be especially useful in the shenanigans you're about to get up too.] It told me, and I could almost hear the mischevious grin in its robotic voice.

A second later I received a handy new notification, alerting me to the powers I now had under my control.

Religious fervor: This is the name of an unusual active power gained by any and all deities when they gain access to their faith domain powers. This potent power is one of the key abilities gained by gods at an early age. It works on any sentient creature regardless of their alignment and lowers their resistance to your worship. In essence this power renders people more likely to find themselves in awe of your power and more likely to believe your claims that you are divine.  

At the lowest tier of influence over the faith domain, this is a short-range ability and one that isn't extremely strong but it's still an incredibly useful power that can speed the process of acquiring worshipers. 

This divine power can be used freely, but it cannot be incorporated into your aura. That said if your goal is to acquire worshipers and just that then this is the perfect power for you.

Faith domain knowledge:

This domain is a potent one that governs belief, religion, and superstition. Deities who quickly master this domain become experts at building cults and religious movements to themselves. It also synergizes well with the domains of the soul, knowledge, life, and the subdomains of corruption and purity.

Faith domain blessing and curse information:

The faith domain's blessing is a blessing multiplier that increases the strength of other blessings. The question worth asking is "By how much do other blessings get multiplied?" And the answer to that is dependent on the worshiper who has the blessing. 

Their level of fanaticism is what determines how much bang they get for this blessing's buck. The more they worship you the stronger this blessing will be. 

With regard to cursing someone using this domain, they fall victim to a mind-affecting curse that fills them with cynicism towards everything. For a bit they become bitter and morose. For right now this just makes them apathetic, though the more tiers of influence you gain over this domain the stronger this divine power becomes.]

I smiled as I read through the notification, feeling more of my powers, powers that ought to have been under my control and usable the minute I first opened my eyes, revealing themselves to me. I was beginning to slowly feel more and more... godlike, and like I was slowly stepping more and more into my own skin. It was a good feeling. 

"I think... I think I'm ready now." I muttered, trying to get myself more excited and in the right state of mind. "I do wish I could see all of my powers displayed in one place though..." I said, quietly. 

[Oh that can be arranged.] The system told me, right before a notification like list of all of the powers I had gained flashed into being before me. I looked it over, and began to smirk. 

"I already have such a wild and fascinating diversity of powers at my disposal!" I observed, inspired by the list of assorted abilities that had sprung into being before my very eyes. 

[And you'll get even more in the days to come. Allow us a second before you go any further, because we think it's time that you get a clear understanding of what it is that being a god means.] The system proudly told me. The odd entity took a second to clear its throat before beginning to speak once more.

[Gods and goddesses are creatures of supreme power. Once a deity has matured they have the power to lay waste to entire galaxies without breaking a sweat. In the ancient past, before the devastating cataclysm which decimated all higher beings throughout the multiverse happened, deities stood at the top of an eco-system made of species with similar but ultimately pared down power.] The system uttered, reverentially remembering the ancient past.

[We don't know much about the multiverse spanning catastrophe that wiped out... well until you came along we were certain that it had eliminated all higher-beings but not much about the catastrophe besides that. It was a tragedy that forever altered the course of history.] The voice mournfully declared. 

[And now that you are here... well we don't want to get ahead of ourselves but we are very excited. You being here means there's a chance, a small one at least, to right the wrongs of the enigmatic past. And to discover the mysteries at the heart of that inscrutable past.] The voice told me, the tone of its utterances suggesting that it spoke the truth. 

They also suggested a particular order to the thing's priorities, which struck me as rather curious since it wanted to "right the wrongs" more than learn about the past. 

[Listen, we're on your side. We, as in the system, and we, as in the domains, want to see you succeed. All of us.] I heard the voice say, speaking to me as if I knew what it meant to "succeed" in this context. 

"But what does 'success' mean to you?" I asked the system, curious to have a definitive answer to this. 

[That's a fair question and one that you deserve answers too. 'Success' to us means two things. First and foremost it means that you become an omnipotent god. We want you to become a legitimately all-powerful entity. You'd be... the first to ever exist. But if you opt to pursue that goal you wouldn't be going about it alone. And we have plans...] The system uttered, speaking cryptically but also powerfully. 

"Omnipotence..." I said to myself, quietly. That was a big word, and it was one of the ones that made sense to me. Whispering it to myself felt right. It felt good to say it aloud. I wondered what the system's more cryptic plans meant for a second, but the thing wasn't done talking.

[The second thing 'success' means to us is that we, through you, learn the true nature of the cataclysmic event from eons ago that wiped out all of your ancestors. We need to know.] My friend told me, revealing the truth surprisingly candidly to me at this moment.   

[An immature god can mess around and create a continent in a day. A mature god can bring a planet to ruin in half a day. A truly powerful god, one of the great ones, can cause a lifeless galaxy to teem with life in an hour. An omnipotent deity could theoretically create entire universes in the time it takes to blink.] The voice muttered, before projecting images into my mind of deities doing those very things.

[We need you Althos. And we're here to help you. So... go visit the dreams of the creatures you want to converse with. We'll discuss this more when you return. Each second you're here you're wasting valuable time.] My companion reminded me, causing me to snap out of my curiosity-driven mode and into my more opportunistic and opportunity seizing state of mind.

I nodded, appreciating my companion's attempt at candor. I now felt that I had a clearer picture of the circumstances and objectives of the system than I had had moments before this. It wasn't a much clearer picture, but it was one that I could begin to work with since I now knew a few things I hadn't before.

It was at that moment that I activated my dreamwalker power and selected the first figure whose dream I'd be visiting tonight: The dreams of the goblin named Mawby, one of the goblins who prayed to Cosecha last night. 

In an instant, I was whisked away to the dreams of the girl goblin. There was a smile on my lips as my consciousness was phased out of my mind-place and into the outskirts of the goblin's dream.

Eons ago a devastating and apocalyptic battle took place that rocked every dark and loathsome corner of the multiverse. In the aftermath of the battle, deities, demon-lords, old ones, arch-devils, angel kings, and archon queens, not to mention other cosmically powerful entities were totally obliterated. Despite this history-changing occurrence, life found a way, and life went on in a godless multiverse for an unimaginable length of time. And in time, even the mightiest and most popular gods were nearly forgotten.

But one day, in a universe unlike our own, and altogether fantastic and magical universe, a deity is born. A new deity. A deity of a nebulous morality. Join the aforementioned morally unbound deity as he embarks on a quest to gain power, worshippers, and glory. 

This story features a deity as its protagonist, but it's a deity who starts off alone in a dark and harsh multiverse. He needs worshippers to grow in power and has to earn his victories intelligently. He seeks to gain worshippers, discover the truth behind his genesis, and become the deity he is meant to be. He is a protagonist who will hurt others, and he's unafraid to kill and destroy what he can't control. This is his story.

"Sure!" 
The woman swiftly took the bill, her spirit uplifted.
A woman and a man walked together shoulder by shoulder on a street lightly illuminated by the street light.
"You have something on your mind, don't you?" The woman took the initiative to start a conversation with Chang as she felt bad for taking the money but doing nothing. "Since you asked me to take a walk with you, do you want to talk?"
"Yeah, sure." Chang nodded. He noticed the appearance of the woman as he turned his head to her. She seemed to be in her thirties, neither magnificently beautiful nor ugly. Her eyes shined and she was curvy. She hadn't lost weight due to starvation. "Do you have kids?"
　
"I had one two years ago, but she passed away of sickness." The woman lowered her head when she talked about her child, but she quickly shook it off. "Do you have kids as well?"
"No, I don't. But I have a younger sister. She used to be a good kid but now that she's grown up, she became a rebel... Every day I go home, she would have a fight with me. She even deliberately dates a gangster to take revenge on me." Chang made a wry smile. "Every day she picks a quarrel with me, and if I let her out, she causes even more trouble. I know that I shouldn't lock her up every day, but I get worried if she leaves me and lives independently. You know what it takes for a girl to live by herself."
"You seem prosperous." 
The dangerous environment pressured the citizens into learning about weapons, even this woman could tell that the handgun that Chang used was one of the best in town.
"Not too bad. For the moment, I'm not worried about my own living. But I'm always on guard, as you know, these days mutations are common enough that perhaps one day humans will go extinct after being massacred by some other species. However, to be honest, my life isn't too bad right now."
"Well, the pressure comes in many forms, and since you've gotten over the pressure of mere survival, you have to deal with the pressure of living now. Humans always causes trouble for themselves." The woman smiled and the wrinkles around her eye deepened. "I don't think you need to worry too much. When the pressure of survival returns, your sister will be the same as before."
"Thanks, I think your words are worth a hundred State Yuan." Chang's rigid face muscles kept him from making an expression.
"Words worth money, that's what you rich people think of. To me, things that are worth a hundred State Yuan are only food." The woman's smile was miserable. "A woman like me gradually loses youth... I don't have any survival skills, either, not to mention hunting in the jungle to collect samples. Even the gangs despise me. Since the military stopped distributing Crystal Pea seeds, it has become a market product. I have nothing, it's even a trouble for me to feed myself."
"I am sorry." 
Chang closed his eyes.
"Well then, sweetheart, can you give me more then?" 
The woman landed a hand on Chang's shoulder.
"It sounds like I should. "Chang took out another hundred for her. "This is the last time I would do something like this, I won't give more."
　
"I know where the line is." The woman's face showed the glaze of prudence. "Tell me more about your sister, I may help."
"I've been thinking about what can I do to handle her rebelliousness... Any ideas?"
"The main reason for her to do so is to get your attention. If you think you can't handle this anymore, then divert her attention," the woman said. "For example, get her a peer friend to hang out with... I think that's the best way of handling it."
"I see..."
The streetlights were turned off one by one as the night grew late. It was their first meeting, and they walked far down the district. Then they ended their conversation.
　　
"Let's call it a day, I still have another thorny affair to deal with, so I'll be going this way, good night." They stopped in front of a tall building. "Thank you for the night."
"It was a pleasure hearing your story, and the money. I hope we can meet again." 
The woman smiled briefly, turning away from Chang, and her figure slowly dissipated in the red fog.
　
Now, Chang faced the building. His sensitive nose informed him of the location of Jing's date. The scent that flooded the room hinted that the man had just had sex with a woman.
"Qing Shui told me that I shouldn't repress my feelings." 
Chagn's anger built up rapidly. He prepared so that he could climb on the wall like a gecko. The micro bristles on his palms aided with his adherance to the wall, and he supported his lower body by having his feet push off the balcony. He sneaked into the house without making a noticeable sound.
The lock of the door was destroyed, and the man who had just fallen asleep was dragged out. Chang jumped off the balcony of the second floor with the man's neck wrapped in his arm.
　　
He dragged the man while sprinting to an area with no residents, after reaching which he threw the man into a dark corner.
　　
"Mercy! I beg for your mercy!" 
The man turned coward instantly as his opponent was fully armed while he was all naked. The man knew that Chang wasn't someone that he could provoke.
"Sh*t up, we've met once, do you remember?" 
Chang looked down at the man.
"Have we?" 
The man meticulously observed Chang's face, but the features didn't ring a bell.
"Am I this ordinary?" 
Chang stomped on the man's face.
　
"No, no, no. You're not! It's my problem! I've bad memory..." The man's nose bridge was broken and blood flowed out from the nasal. "Please, mercy! I've really bad memory..."
"Your memory is none of my business. I came here to ask you for one thing, you're dating a teen girl, aren't you?"

The red fog gave Chang's face a layer of mystery.
"I'm pretty sure my sibling is your date, how many are you dating at the same time?" 
Chang was obviously provoked. He lost his mind over the answer. The man lost his front teeth under Chang's foot.
"Not... not too many," the man shouted out with a strange sound of air flowing through where his front teeth had been.

"I do."
"Stop contacting her. If I find you're still dating her, I'll leave you alone in the jungle naked." 
Chang lifted his foot from the man's face and walked away.
The man exhaled as the weight on his heart lifted, but Chang came back to ease his own worries.
"Just to be safe..." 
He did the same thing again but this time his foot kicked the man's genital area. The delicate sensation of the impact let him know that he had caused a severe injury. The man also shrieked out of unbearable pain at the same time.
"Now I'm assured..." 
Suddenly, Chang felt lighthearted. He threw the displeasure of arguing with Jing behind him, returning home in a good mood.

The bar was closed during day time. Chang threw Sanpang in behind the bar counter.

As he spoke, Chang threw a well-made pistol to Sanpang from the drawer in the bar counter.
"And so are you, put away your dirty mind when you are accompanying her. If I learn that you've an evil plan, the consequence won't be nice." Chang pulled Sanpang up when the other had finished attaching the pistol to his belt. He lead Sanpang to Jing's room, knocking on the door. "Jing, I fond you a friend."
Chang took out a key to unlock the room, cueign Sanpang to come in front of him.
"See, doesn't he look like Pangzi?" Chang landed his arm on Sanpang's shoulder, and the latter showed a genial smile. 
"Hey, Jing."
Jing's room was covered with glass pieces, and she sat on the floor, the only spot in the room free of glass. She was calm, gazing at Sanpang's round face. Her memory went back to four years ago when Pangzi was still one of them. Unusually, she didn't start bickering with Chang and the stranger but waved to the latter politely.
"Hi."

The rest of the day went by well... Okay... I am not gonna lie... The hours that followed were dreadful...

I tried to keep my interfere with Brenden at a minimum because of how he made me feel earlier. I don't feel like I can handle any more of his sarcasm.

I managed over these few hours to familiarize myself with Brenden's house, I hope one day I will get to familiarize myself with his whole dungeon, inside out. He got to show me around a bit, by a bit, I mean like only four rooms, one of them being his bedroom, our bedroom.

I patiently wait as I dive deeper into sleep, slowly travelling to another world. A world of dreams and nightmares. It does not take long until I fall asleep.

I am woken up by movements and shakes on the bed as if someone is turning around. Suddenly I feel hairy legs interwinding mine as two arms wrap around my body. Once the moving and shifting stops, I feel something warm and hairy pushed gently against my back, like a body, gripping me, as if I was about to run away.

"Sweet dream, Princess..." I hear a familiar whisper in my ear, but I am too tired to figure out who it is as my eyelids slowly begin to close again.

I stared at him, cooking and whistling, something that I could not do, or should I say, didn't want to do. I decided to move away and try to find an exit but I didn't even take a step back when I heard his voice.

"Princess? Is that you?"

I saw him raise his head before shooting his eyes onto me. The sudden gaze caused to heart to race while it froze my body, as if I have turned into ice. I felt the fear engulf my body, eating me inside out.

"You aren't scared of me... Are you?" he asked me, I sensed the envy in his voice. That mixed with his harsh tone caused a wave of goosebumps to course through my body.

I wanted to begin by asking him where was I? Why was I here? Why was he here... I wanted to ask him, but I couldn't, the fear was just all too much for me.

"Come on... Speak to me... Ask me..." he began.

"Ask me "why am I here" and all of that crap... Entertain me with your fear."

I saw him slowly gripping a knife that was on the countertop, with his eyes still on mine. The sides of his mouth slowly began tilting upwards. All the bitterness and the cold, it was all so visible in his eyes.

I looked at his in horror, noticing him as he took his first small steps towards me.

"Talk to me... Because this might be the last time you will ever talk, " he said this sentence in such a calm tone, it caused me once again to shiver with goosebumps.

"W-what do you mean...". Never in my life have I stuttered, until then.

"What I mean is..." he began before abruptly stopping, until then, he never took his eyes off me.

The next thing I knew, he full-on charged towards me.

I heard chairs crashing down while I turned around, and just as I was about to run, I felt him grab me by my wrist, before he yanked me, as a result, I crashed straight into his chest. 

My hands were on his big, broad chest right before he turned me around so that my shoulder were now against his pecks. Till then, I figured that this was probably just one of my many wicked nightmare until I felt the blade ,from that knife he picked up, rest on my neck. As if it was an instinct, I grabbed his arm that was resting on my chest with my two small hands. In the same time tried to push my head back and away from the knife but it is near impossible as there is no space for me to move any further against his hard pecks.

Next, I hitched for air when I felt his breath, as it warmed my skin.

Several hours ago at Woodwille Homes, in front of a rustic modern metal and wooden gate.

His young master's temper has been terrible since this early morning when they picked him up at Laurice's residence. He was throwing a fit of rage at the villa which hadn't happened for years and his mood was fluctuating to some degree it was quite baffling. Even little young master Louie was frightened to approach his father to ask about his 'mother' who had been away for sometime. He was already missing her a lot. Little Louie snuck up to one corner of the car, hands on his lap and kept silent the whole time around. He did not want to be left alone at the villa and wanted to see his 'mommy' so he tag along with his father who also plans to see the same woman.

'Where are you mommy? Daddy's really scary.'
For the very first time ever, Louie was scared of his own father who only throws cold glances at everyone. His face was devoid of any emotion making him look even more stiff and distant.

Butler Han could guess something must have happened between him  and the young miss that causes his young master's sudden outburst. The temperature inside the vehicle which was already heavy enough to begin with, has dropped a few more degrees the instant the words left the butler's mouth.

Sid impatiently dialed a number in his phone. A low and chilly voice resonates inside the vehicle afterwards.

"Where is she?" Sid asked rather menacingly over the phone. He was talking with Sam, his assistant who not only handles his business affairs but has now turned into his private single army. He is a capable person who can dig up not only a person's whereabouts in a matter of seconds.

" ... !!! "
Everybody jolted in their seats when they heard Sid spoke.

The tention inside the vehicle was also building up, it was suffocating. 'Poor little Louie for enduring this much because his father was unexpectedly throwing a tantrum.' The little young master sighed. It was only one time that he acted the same. He had only acted spoiled and unbridled when he had finally set his eyes on his particular 'mommy'. It was inevitable since he likes his 'mother' so much. And looking at his father at the moment, he was not that naive not to understand the situation. Without second thoughts, he slowly shifted from his seat and moved closer to his father who had just ended up the phone call. Little Louie lifted his small body up and gently patted his father's head.

Sid was stunned for a moment.

It seems his son was consoling him. He was looking at him with a warm and affectionate gaze without fear in them as if knows his worries and understands all of them. He soon realized he had totally forgotten that his son was with him all along. Sid's expression softened a tad bit but his aura remained unchanged, actually he looked even more determined right after his conversation over the phone ended.

The valet at the night club was momentarily dazed with the sight of another luxury car approaching The Cube's driveway entrance. He can never really get used to witnessing the grandeur of such cars that is hand-picked by these millionaires, billionaires even that come to his workplace for a night of pleasure or whatnot. He had been since his employment, a fan of cars, those imported in particular because they carry such great splendor in them matching the nobility of their owners. Like this particular man who had just alighted from his porsche carrera. He can only dream that one day in the future ahead, he could own and drive the same car as well. But he felt as if even by then, he would still not be on par with such man whose mere presence is rather intimidating enough. The way he carried himself was that of a royalty from a noble family. The gap between them is substantially absolute, definite and clear-clut like the night from the day. 

Despite his grievances, the valet felt fortunate enough to drive such expensive cars even for a brief period of time.

The moment the silhouette of his car faded from a distance, Sid eventually entered the place and in heavy footsteps, he went inside the building to find a particular woman who had been in his dreams for nights already and was indeed the very person who was making him currently restless and agitated and warm and fuzzy all over. " Khaleesi." A voice called softly from behind the curtains of my balcony. My eyes trailed up from the book I was working on, the doors slid open and in waltzed Peter his eyes a hazel like gold. Eyeing me as he came closer, watching me as I studied him. Every twitch of a muscle,movement or tilt followed by his eyes as if I was the most interesting subject in the room. 
"..... You're the Alpha side of Peter?" I ask. He gave a short nod,still moving.
"Alpha Hale." He answers his voice carrying a slight accent,I furrowed my brows, who gave the Alpha a dang accent?
"What was it that you wanted to see me about again?" Silence as he stood still a centimetre away from me.
" .....The date." He states simply. Now this is awkward.

"On one condition." I say as I brightened up.
"What is your condition?" He drawled watching as my fingers twirled around the straps knitting a pattern.
"Become good." I say,his head snapped up eyes narrowed in confusion.
" I was born bad,how can I change something that has always been that way?" He asks.
"No one is born bad,it's a decision we make whilst growing up. You chose this so you can fix it." I answer.
"That doesn't make sense. I was the cause of Peter's mother death." He pointed out.
"No you weren't. Did she die while you and Petey were on your way in to the world?" I ask curiously. He gave a reluctant nod.
"Then she had died of natural causes. You are not responsible for something you have no control over. But you have a choice now, either be good and live happily or be bad and loose everything. It's all up to you. Whichever path you choose is yours to take,no one can make that decision for you." I say as I gave him a soft smile. Alpha Hale sat down next to me, deliberating.
" You don't need to decide now. You can relax if you want,I can wait." I say and smiled even wider. He looked down at me a curious gleam in his golden green eyes.
" Why are you.....so nice?"

He frowned his eyebrows knitted together.
"Why Derek? He is but an idiot with no patience." 
" Because he's human. He makes mistakes, so do you and so do I. It's just the way he reacts to his mistakes is what's making him so impatient. He blames himself for things he hasn't done,just like you. Just like any sane person,we all blame ourselves for things that are out of our control." I say.
"You are much wiser than your age suggests." Grumbled Peter. Well obviously I am older than you and know more about life than you do,not like I'd tell you though. 
" Mhmm, probably because of the amount of books and stories I know of." I hummed and watched as he turned to face me fully, I realised once he did that he was shirtless. Firey scars lined in patterns down to his waist line and up to his hair line. Glancing up I saw that he was smirking with a raised eyebrow. Crap,I stared. 
"How do I become good?" He asks.
"Simple.Stop killing those who don't deserve it, stop trying to force people to follow you, stop trying to force yourself to do things that you obviously don't like." I was referring to him staying in the hospital and the way he avoided speaking to anyone except myself. 
".....I'll try. Good night." Alpha Hale got up wanting to leave.
"You know you can stay,I won't bite." I say jokingly grinning from ear to ear. He rolled his eyes.
"I'm not afraid of you,Khaleesi." 
"I hope not. Because I ain't afraid of you." I say.

Currently I have 750 Ryo on me as my allowance on me, Grandpa doesn't allow me too much even from what I get from sales. I decide to pick up the yellowtail, some more spices, oil, and a few vegetables and noodles. I also pick up a whole chicken which is the most expensive thing I got. Luckily it was already dead and defeathered I might not have it in me to do it myself. I wave to the people then head home.

"Let's see. I will have to put the chicken away for the night. I'll make the chicken into soup tomorrow. For tonight let's see I can make some sandwiches? Or..." I began to ponder over what to make for dinner when I accidentally bumped into someone and I fall down "Ah" I was a bit shocked looking up I see two people. One appears to be a teenager the other seems to be about my age. They both have black hair but the older one seems to have cold eyes. Oh! Looking at their clothes I guess they are from the Uchiha clan

"Hey watch where you are going" Said the smaller one as he also get's up "S-sorry I wasn't paying attention." I began to pick the vegetables off the ground but I see another hand "Geez you really should be careful" It was that younger boy. He was helping me pick up the vegetables "What if your mom and dad got mad at you for ruining or losing these" I look at him and I smile "I am an orphan. I don't know my mom or dad" This causes the young boy to wince "S-sorry I didn't mean too" I wave him off "It's fine. I don't mind at all. Hi I am Marix" I reach my hand out to him "Sasuke Uchiha" he says smiling as he shakes my hand. 

I reach into one of my bags and I hand him two tangerines "Thank you for helping me" He smiles a bit and offers one two the older boy "Brother here you have one" The older one looks at the small fruit and takes it from his brothers hand "Come Sasuke. We are going to be late" Sasuke began to panic a bit. I wonder why? "O-ok. Bye Marix." I watch as the two leave "Hm I wonder if that was Itachi." I shrug and head home.

When I enter the door I see naruto once again applying ointment on himself on his bruises and scrapes. Nowadays I don't know if they are from bullies or the training he pushes on himself. "Naruto I'm back" I say as I head to the kitchen to put the food away. Naruto comes in and sits down. This is usual for us. After I put away the food I go up to him and began healing him with my medical jutsu. These small scrapes and bruises don't require seals which is good since I haven't learned hand seals for this yet. "Training or fighting?" I ask "Training." He responds back with a sheepish smile as if he is embarrassed about me having to heal him all the time.

I shake my head and smile "Don't push yourself too hard Naruto" He rubs the back of his head and then looks down "Sorry for always causing you to worry for me Marix. You know you could go live with the old man" He seemed a bit sad. I chuckle and ruffle his hair "I won't leave my best friend here by himself" This instantly cheers him up "So what's for dinner?" Oh quick to change topic isn't he "I haven't decided yet but I will be using the yellowtail I bought. Hopefully choji doesn't come over today because I don't have enough" I joke. I would love it if they came over. Naruto chuckles with me. "Alright go wash up. You know I don't like you eating with dirty hands." Naruto rushes to the bathroom.

I pull out some lemon and other things. Oil, sesame seed, and some spices. I began cooking the four yellowtail. I cook all four due to the fact the portions are a bit small and Naruto has quite an appetite. I also make a few side dishes. A nice baked potato and a salad. Soon enough a meal, the best I can prepare at least. Is ready and I set the table. It wasn't the best but we both enjoyed it. I have naruto wash the dishes.

In my room I began to think over everything happened today. All in all it was very eventful. "I wonder why my eyes changed? Wait didn't that one voice say I got some kind of bloodline?" He remembers his encounter with Sasuke today and he knows they have an ocular jutsu that changes their eyes "But I don't have a Sharingan or Byakugan so this must be a new one. I'll have to talk to Grandpa about this" He has to talk to someone since he doesn't understand it and that could lead to a bad situation like what happened when that sand thing tried to take over his body.

Speaking of that sand thing. Ever since he got out the hospital he no longer dreams of that maze with all the doors and sand. He feels like there is still a connection to that place but it is too narrow for him to get too. Like say originally it was a bridge but now it is just a tightrope. Grandpa wouldn't tell me what that thing was nor did he explain to me about the dreams I had. I feel he is hiding it from me but I am sure it is for my own good though. I am worried about my supposed brother Gaara though... I hope he is okay. These were my last thoughts before falling asleep.
