The next morning at 5:30am, Nic was not feeling well when he wake up. He wasn't able to forget the scene at the restaurant and it causes him to fear last night.

His thoughts are in a mess. Nic didn't bathe he walk wobbly to dining hall. Joe was at the dining table as usual. Joe sees Nic was going to faint before he even approach the dining table. Joe immediately get up grab Nic. 

Nic Nic are you okay?? Nic didn't respond his eyes are half close. Joe touch Nic forehead and it's hot. Woahhh.. You are having a fever... Nic hug Joe. Joe thinks if Sam and Shaun sees this he is going to be killed by both of them. Joe carry Nic in his arms, Nic hang on, I will send you to hospital.

Joe put Nic at the back of the car seats. Joe quickly call Doc. Leon. Morning Doc. Leon this is Joe; Nic is having a fever and he seems unconscious I call him but no response. Doc. Leon says what time you sending him in hospital? I am driving now from Mansion it will take 45 mins to reach hospital. 

Doc. Leon says noted, I will try to reach at the same time. In case traffic jam, tell the nurse this patient will be in VIP ward waiting for me to see him. Joe says noted. Joe hang the phone call. Joe immediately drive the car to hospital.

Nic wasn't sure who was talking. When Joe reach the hospital he carry Nic in his arms. Nic says to Joe don't tell Shaun and Sam I don't want them to know. Joe promised Nic because he thinks maybe Nic doesn't want them to worry for him. (But truth is Nic is frighten of Sam and Shaun)

Doc. Leon arrived 5 mins before Joe and Nic. Doc. Leon quickly see Nic and he says Nic is having high fever and need to be warded. Doc. Leon tell the nurse to put Nic same VIP ward as his brother Ken but different rooms. Doc. Leon ask Joe to sign the papers for admission. Joe shakes his head, he mumbles how come everyone is in hospital so good no need to work... But I have to run to and fro but it is only office and hospital now it's less area of running. 

Joe thinks he is bad cause he thinks of since everyone is in the hospital it saves the trouble for him to run around. But another side of him say he wants Zen to wake up so he can attend the office meetings and it can lessen his workload. This means Ken & Nic is extra work for him already. Joe thinks if Zen knows what he is thinking right now he will be dispose immediately. Because Ken is Zen beloved. 

My Lord you are torturing me if you don't faster wake up. Doc. Leon sees Joe shakes his head and he say don't worry they are under my care and good news is the antidote is coming out soon. But we have to test on Zen and Ken. 

Joe says what about Nic conditions?? Doc. Leon ask what he ate last night? Joe shakes his head I don't know last night I only pick him up in the evening. He was having dinner with his friends. Doc. Leon advise Joe to call Nic friends to check what did Nic ate last night it has an impact on his fever and conditions now. 

Joe says okay I will contact them. Joe say give me sometime I will let you know what Nic ate last night. Doc. Leon say okay, I will go see other patients now. I will come back at 3pm to see Zen, Ken and Nic. Joe sat noted and thanks for your help! Doc. Leon say this is my job don't worry have your breakfast and relax. 

Joe says okay. Doc. Leon went off. Joe see the watch its only 7pm. But he have to get Sam as he doesn't have Shaun number. Joe call Sam. 

📞📞📱Hello Sam this is Joe, this is 🆘 call as Nic is in hospital now. The doctor asked me to check with you what did Nic ate last night?? Sam was shocked. Ermm... We ate buffet. Joe ask oh! Are you alright then? Sam says yes I am alright. Joe ask Sam to look for Shaun to check if he is alright. Sam says okay, Sam ask which hospital is Nic in? Joe say same hospital which Zen and Ken is in and in same VIP ward but different rooms. Sam say he will come after school. Joe say okay. 

Sam left with no choice but to look for his opponent. Sam goes to Nic classroom and look for Shaun. Shaun was there as he was waiting for Nic. Shaun I just receive a news from Joe Nic is in hospital now. The doctor wants to know what he ate last night and Joe ask me to check with you if you are alright?? Shaun say yes I am alright. Which hospital Nic is in? Sam says it's "TT Hospital" in VIP ward. Shaun say noted thank you for telling me. Sam sees Shaun behavior he just pissed off and he walks away. 

After school, Sam quickly board a taxi. Shaun drives his car to the "TT Hospital". 

(Back to Joe) Joe after calling Sam he went for breakfast and he keeps thinking what should he do next? Joe call the office and say Zen need him in hospital today and he won't be able to go office. Joe puts down the phone call. He eats his breakfast. He thinks thankfully today is Friday tomorrow not a working day or else it will be very troublesome. He eats his breakfast shakes his head people around him, next table thinks he mad.

Shaun reach the hospital first before Sam. Because Shaun is driving his own car he speed it. Sam wasn't able to control the car speed its a taxi. 

Joe was still in the hospital somewhere... Shaun recognize Joe face and he wave at him. Joe sees someone waving at him. Who's that?? Shaun says I am Nic best friend remember me? Joe says yes! Where is my Nic? (Joe shock in his mind did you just say "my Nic"?) Joe calm posture he is in the VIP ward but normal people can't get in I will bring you in. Shaun says thank you. 

On the way to the VIP ward in the lift, Joe was curious about this Shaun and Nic relationship he ask Shaun how long have you know Nic? Shaun says very long. Joe ask Shaun what did Nic ate last night? Shaun say we ate buffet. Joe says oh I will tell the doctor because the doctor ask me and I doesn't know what Nic ate. Joe ask Shaun do you know if Nic has any food allergies? Shaun says not that I know of. 

They reach the VIP ward. Joe bring Shaun to Nic room. When Shaun sees Nic pale face he was sad. Nic Nic how are you feeling?? Shaun turns to Joe is Nic sleeping or?? Joe says when I send him here he wasn't conscious. Shaun was shock what?? 

This time they hears a loud BANG the door opens both got a shock.... They turns their heads to look who is that? They see its Sam. Sam opens the door so loudly Joe says you give us a shock!! 

Shaun quickly goes to Sam grab his collar why are you here? Why can't I be here? Why are you here then? If you can be here why I can't be here?? Sam says loud. Joe have to stop both of them creating a fight. This moment Nic move this causes everyone turns their heads towards Nic. Nic opens his mouth say so noisy why?? Shaun and Sam rush towards Nic bed. "How are you feeling?" (X2) [Cause both Shaun and Sam speaking same time] 

Nic says I am thirsty. Both Shaun and Sam look at Joe for water? Joe quickly walk out of the room asking the nurse for water. The nurse was alert that Nic has wake up and she quickly take a glass of water and send in the room for Nic. Nic drink the water slowly. The nurse call Doc. Leon informing him that Nic has wake up. Doc. Leon immediately call Joe. 

📱📞Joe pick up the call. Hello? This is Doc. Leon I heard from the nurse Nic has wake up? Can you pass the phone to Nic. Hello Nic I am your Doctor in-charge Doc. Leon how are you feeling now? I feel thirsty. 

Can I check with you what did you ate the night before? I ate buffet with friends but they seems alright. Oh...it could have been the food you ate is contaminated. But this is only a guess for now. I will need to see you tomorrow morning at 8 am for full examination to know the exact cause. Nic say okay and thank you Doc. Leon. Doc. Leon tell Nic to pass back the phone to Joe. Joe please monitor Nic tonight since you are there now, let me know the details later. 

Shaun and Sam look worried. Nic as he sees both of them he remembers the buffet restaurant incident which he thinks back this makes him uncomfortable again. Nic tell Joe he is tired, dizzy and want to rest. Joe look at Nic helpless he shake his head. Joe tell Shaun and Sam to come back tomorrow morning. They went back to their own home. Joe accompanied Nic in the hospital he rested on the sofa until fall asleep.

 "The shuttle in front has to move faster! This batch of building supplies has to reach the 11th building of Area B or none of us are getting off work today!"
Zhang San frowned while listening to the voice drifting through his spacesuit. It was a man's voice filled with desperation and urgency. In reality, everyone was rushing, but the speed of the hovercraft was only so fast. Even though the lane was already divided into top, middle, and bottom, for the workers on the Light Moon, the traffic was still incredibly crowded.
It had been 3 months since the Hope landed on the Light Moon. In these 3 months, with a speed that surprised even humanity itself, a large, super-modern industrial base was constructed on the moon. It combined the function of a smelting, manufacturing, and production factory. It had taken over those responsibilities from the Hope. This base on the Light Moon could process up to 5,000,000 tons of materials, 200 hovercrafts, 600,000 tons of building materials, and120 Space Combat Jets daily. On top of that, it could churn out 100 battleship ships every five days, a guardian ship every 20 days, and a mothership every 60 days.
At the same time, a residential area had started being built next to the industrial base. The place would be able to support 500,000 people with schools, parks, and recreations. It would be called the City of the Light Moon, but the project was huge. The projected time of completion for the main parts of the city was 3 years, and 5 years for full completion. Of course, the amount of supplies needed for it would be gigantic as well.
"So far, the the Light Moon industrial base has built 8,000 plus hovercrafts, 1,000 plus transport shuttles, 1,700 plus tons of building materials, 10 battleships, 2 guardian spaceships, and they'll need another 20 days to finish building a mothership of the same level as the Hope. After that will be the expansion project of the residential area…"
In the captain's room, Barbie explained to Yao Yuan the plans in place for humanity for the next three months. Yao Yuan smiled and said, "Thank you, Barbie, for your hard work… by the way, your request for in-vitro pregnancy has been rejected. You have to understand that single mothers are unable to get that according to the law, as it is not good for the child's growth. But why would you want that procedure? I hear you have many pursuers. One of them is a representative from the House of Representatives. I've looked through his files, he's handsome, rich, and kind. Apparently, he has been pursuing you for eight years already. You still don't planned to get married?"
Barbie in her professional suit, a nude silk stocking, and a pair of black high heels was a real beauty. Her face was still the picture of youth, she had kept a constant check on her weight, and with her identity as the personal secretary to the Hope's captain, she was undeniably a diamond-class beauty. The man who pursued her could really fill up three streets, but for some reason, even though they had left Earth for 20 years, she had remained single. It wasn't until she submitted a request for in-vitro pregnancy recently that Yao Yuan realized that she wanted a child. However, that request was promptly rejected.
Barbie pouted but didn't explain herself. She cleared the document and stood to the side, waiting for the next order from Yao Yuan. Her heart itched with annoyance.
Actually, Barbie herself couldn't explain what she was feeling. The longer she stayed beside Yao Yuan, the stronger the sense of reliance she had on him. Fine, perhaps it was not as unexplainable as she thought. However, since there was such a wonderful man beside her, Barbie felt like her standard had gotten much higher as well. She saw herself as a modern woman, one who could survive just fine without the company of a man. Since she couldn't find anyone that could win her over, then she would just live her life on her own. It was a recently that she felt like she wanted a child. The fact that it was rejected by her boss, which in a way was the cause for the state she was in, made her burn with annoyance.
Yao Yuan didn't continue this topic but stood up to stand beside the window. Looking at the silvery base and the rows of hovercrafts that crowded the streets, the sense of busy activity gave him joy.
Humanity had survived for about 2 decades in space. They had been through a lot and had sacrificed a lot. The emotions, sadness, joy, and relief that accompanied them throughout these years were something that couldn't be put into words. However, finally, they had found solace. Humankind had finally found a place where they could flap their wings and fly. Its great potential as a level 2 space civilization could finally be unleashed.
"Such greatness, this is the vibrancy of human life! We might seem weak now, but give us some time and in another 20 years, humanity will finally walk the cosmos with ease and ignore all the civilizations under level 3!"
Yao Yuan's tone was level, but Barbie could see his whole body shaking when he said that. She heard the pride, honor, and melancholy mixed within the words. Indeed, humanity had sacrificed a lot before it could reach this step. Humanity had given up too much for the sake of survival… but this view before him, it confirmed for him that all the sacrifices… had been worth it!
If everyone who had laid their lives down for humanity had something akin to a soul, they would say proudly that their sacrifices had been worth it… because it was necessary for the continuation of humanity!
Yao Yuan stood beside the window for a long time before he retracted his gaze. Barbie saw the glisten in his eyes, but when she checked next, it was already gone. After a long time, Yao Yuan asked, "It seems like there is another pregnancy fever within these three months."
Barbie quickly pulled out a document and said, "Yes, from the report given by the statistics department, the pregnancy fever this time is even more pronounced than the one on the new planet. Until today, the number of pregnant mothers who came to the hospital to register is around 43,000. It is almost twice the number of pregnancies this time last year. The health department has sent over the updated benefits list for the expectant mothers. Due to the great amount of new mothers, the people from health department hope that they can have more members in the baby and toddlers education sector and wish that the government can improve the benefits offered to expectant mothers…"
Yao Yuan nodded and mumbled, "It is time to improve the benefits for pregnant mothers. It is another story if we're in space and trying to survive, but now that we're in the New Solar System, we have enough to do more… Leave the document behind, I'll read it over and think about it. Also, print another few more copies and send them to the related departments. I want them to write a report and proposal about this, make sure this is more than just a publicity move, we have to really take care of these pregnant mothers. About the supplies… Have they finished the construction for Area A on the City of the Light Moon?"
Barbie flipped through the stack of documents and pulled out another. "Yes, the construction of Area A will be finished in another 6 days. After all, the place will be delineated into blocks to fit 100,000 people…"
Yao Yuan waved his hands and said, "Why do we need so many residential areas? The Hope is still hospitable, right? Furthermore, moving will exhaust plenty of resources. How about this, clear out 10,000 houses for the workers working on the base and the remaining resources can be used in further expansion… But we will have to change the direction, starting with public goods. I hear that the prices of pork, mutton, and beef have started to rise and that the prices of related luxury items and necessities have followed suit. The price hike is especially obvious for rice, sugar, and salt, right?"
Barbie searched through the stack once more and continued as she pulled another document out, "This is something I wanted to report. Due to the wildfire expansion we're having, the Hope's resources started to deplete at a rapid rate. According to the report handed over by the public consumption department, if this is allowed to continue, we will reach the yellow emergency line in the next month, and within 6 months, the Hope will experience an unmitigated famine…
"Related is this report from the Hope's central bank. The current purchasing power of H-coins is too high, so much so that we do not have enough resources to support it anymore. If this is allowed to continue, we might reach a stage where the citizens have too much money but nothing to buy. When that happens, the public's trust in the human government will be greatly affected. Regarding that, the central bank proposed that we adjust the value of H-coins. In the next 3 to 6 months, we can lower the value of H-coins to combat the rising purchasing power."
Yao Yuan started thinking. Barbie was right, these two reports were related. Due to the expansion, there was an explosion of job vacancies, and the salaries of certain jobs had become proportional to the jobs' scope. For example, a street clearer had a salary that was only slightly higher than government stipend, but driving the transport shuttle to and from the City of the Light Moon paid much greater than that. Therefore, there was an influx of H-coins in the market. To combat that situation, Yao Yuan had to increase the market supply of resources. Thankfully, it was still in a manageable situation. However, as the price of the items continued to increase, it was already devaluing the H-coins.
"We cannot devalue the H-coins!" Yao Yuan confirmed. "Go inform the people from the supply center to come up with a price survey and set the highest price for each market item. The price cannot go higher than that and continue to supply the market. H-coins are greatly related to the strength of the human economy and government, so at least at this crucial moment, we cannot allow it to weaken… Like I said before, use the space saved at Area A and cultivate all of them into bio-plantations and farms. I want to see a new batch of market produce in 3 months!"

"I'm afraid to report that the medications were unsuccessful," Yittek began, hands behind himself as he walked to where Lance sat at the examination table. "It seems the cells are adapting to blend in with your human side. Camouflage, if you will."

"Shit..." Lance breathed. "So what do we do?"

"Try again." Yittek placed a finger on Lance's inner arm, drawing more blood.

"With a different medicine, or...?"

Yittek nodded, placing the vial a few feet away. "I'll try one called Withren. Similar to Ethulin, except a bit more potent."

Lance stayed quiet for a moment, watching his blood appear in between the space of two fingers. "Are there a lot of Razalek diseases?" he asked finally, looking up to Yittek.

"A few fatal ones, a few non-fatal ones. Energy sappers, received from plants in the forest-area."

"Oh." Glad I'm not a Razalek then. "What about Spiros?"

"Far more. Airborne, insect-traveled, some humanlike with cold-like symptoms. But it causes a high fever as well and can lead to death. More often than the human disease."

Another vial began to fill as Lance hesitantly asked, "C-Can I get that? Those diseases?"

Yittek gave him a warm smile, taking a third vial.

"Let's hope not."

Days passed by in blurs of research. In and out of the examination room, fatigue reaching his eyes, seeping into his very bones. A side effect of one medication, Yittek said. Daily instructions were clear: sit here, arm out, blood drawn. Eat, drink this. It'll help.

Those were always Yittek's words: it'll help.

Lance tried to believe him, even when countless test after test proved otherwise. Even when he couldn't sleep at night, worrying if he'd ever get better. Ever see his family again.

"Zidane mentioned you needed to combine memories with the samples he took," Lance said one day.

Yittek nodded. "I'm optimizing the samples as we speak. Stretching them, in a way, so we can combine as many memories as possible."

"And how do we do that?"

A small pill was dispensed into his open palm. Lance took it as Yittek replied.

"Recording your thoughts and mental images as you speak of your loved ones."

Sounds easy enough. "When can we get started?"

Yittek returned his grin.

"In a day or so," he replied.

Lance tried to remain hopeful, even when the day came and his stomach didn't loosen.

But he needs to save Lance's life. He has too much death on his hands already. However, Lance isn't so easy to trust him. So, with a question, he's teleported into Zidane's mind and introduced to a world of magic, racism, and everlasting love. Memory by memory plays, giving Lance answers to his question. Giving him every reason to trust. He has no choice, after all. ________PREVIEW_________ Lance only felt Zidane's pain, aches that added to his own. If only they'd tried harder... As the last few layers of his skin began to regrow, Lance knew the statement was empty. The words had lost every meaning, replaced with nothing but agonizing reality. They'd lost, plain and simple. Feeding Brenda daily increased his animal handling skill, another good news was rabbit that started to accept its new reality. Little more attention and it would be completely tamed by him.
He built more cages for new specimens and left the space. 
'It's time to get more animals. Getting ranch requires something to be done. Domesticated animals? I don't really care.' Having stable source of animal products was great part of his plan. 
Easiest to domesticate were actually animals with kind nature. Rabbits, quails and other smaller ones would be perfect for this role. First generation of tamed animals will be growing inside of his space and later exchanged with villagers or other people. Quality meat could be even used as currency, meat was precious and hard to get.  
The best way to capture small animals was to use traps. Aron was setting one of those, while he spotted small quail hundred meters away.
It was eating earthworm, while chirping happily. Distance was small, so boy decided to use his superior speed to catch unaware bird. Plan was simple, using stealth to close the distance and catch with hands. He found hole inside of his logic, his speed and strength were way above ordinary human. Simple movement could squash quail's body. This plan required great control and patience. 
'It's not funny. I am increasing my strength, but I neglected control…' Killing someone by accident or breaking things because lack of precision would destroy his future. 
'It's time to focus on controlling my strength and speed.' Using full body power wasn't hard, the problem was to use precise amount. Any further neglection of this field would make things harder to fix in the future.
Aron appeared before bird and caught its leg with precise movement. Forcing your body to stop, when your body's momentum wasn't pleasant. 
The quail wasn't even struggling, getting caught was as good as being dead. It started to pretend to be dead.
"Don't worry. You won't be eaten in near future. Hahaha!" Bird didn't understand words and continued pretending its death.

It was easier to catch game with traps as control wasn't required, and putting traps with decoys would always lure some animals. Boy decided to set traps and track animals with help of his sight. 
His senses found track of sow with piglets, probably one from his first visit in forest. 
'I am stronger and faster than ordinary human. Younglings should be easier to tame than adult animals.' His decision was to capture piglets and try to domesticate them. You could consider boars as pigs with tusks and fur. 
They weren't far as he caught up to them very fast. Sow was looking after its children while piglets were playing around with each other.

Swish! Swish! Swish! It had no time to react as its head was pierced by multiple arrows. Allowing your enemy go berserk was stupid and pointless. Finishing its life in seconds, it was time to catch shocked piglets.

Great speed allowed to cut distance in split of second, cubs couldn't comprehend situation at all. Seeing boy appearing before them caused them to fell into chaotic panic.
'Too late!' First piglet was captured by its leg and instantly teleported it into farming space. Another one was kicked with half of boy's strength and without any delay it ended inside of space.

'Two down. Three to go!' Using simple rock throw, another one was down. Only two of them were left to catch. 
'Leaving? You will be eaten by one of predators in few hours.' It would be waste if he didn't catch them.
Their speed was low and running for longer time was impossible. Aron got them in no time, boy tied them and entered space. Their siblings were running around with horror in their eyes. Only one not moving was piglet with injured leg from stone projectile.
'Ok. All immobilized.' White-haired boy left space and took carcass of their mother. It would be great thing to exchange this for animal.
[Plundered: Berserk, Vigorous, Charge]
Caring around would be inconvenient so body was placed inside of storage. Kid took it out around outskirts of village, bringing such game caused uproar in village. 
"I want animals and rare goods." Many villagers became disappointed after hearing this sentence. Having cow or sheep was privilege, not many around had such luck. Humans were dying fast and their animals were dying even faster.
'None is interested? Your loss!' It was tiring day, so he decided to rest for moment inside of his hut. 
Little nap refreshed body and mind, time to dismantle game. Storage could keep it fresh for ages, however grinding skill was important. Inability to dismantle his own game properly was shameful.
It was done. Dismantling needed precision and experience, Aron lacked both of those things. It wasn't reason to worry, some practice will resolve both of those problems.
During his stroll around village, one of villagers told him interesting rumor. Some sheep got crazy and attacked their owners. 
'It's good chance. Let's check what's wrong with it.' There was always cause of such behavior. It might be sick or poisoned.
White-haired hunter reached rumored ranch and knocked into the doors.
Knock. Knock. Middle-aged man opened doors and scanned boy with his eyes. 
"Ymmm? I don't know you." Aron appearance changed with charisma being increased, some people were focused on their lives and they didn't care about most of things. 
"I am Aron. I heard about your sheep. Are you maybe interested in selling it?" Man was little surprised, crazy animals was worthless in his eyes.

"How long is it acting this way?" Preparing cure needed time as he lacked blue mint, remaining time was important. 

"Something around three days…Are you still interested? It's curse from devil!" Greg thought Aron would abandon the idea of buying it. 
"Actually, yes. I can give you some meat for it. Not much…but it's still better than nothing." Kid decided to trade, though this time with rules of normal trading. Giving someone a finger will cause him taking your entire arm. They didn't deserve any kindness from him.
"Yes. It's sad…I liked her wool!" White-haired hunter shook his head and said.
"Give me few minutes. I will bring you some boar's meat." Nothing could be done. Devil's curse for ordinary people could be only cured by people with knowledge how-to. He took two chunks of meat and threw it into wooden bucket. 

"It's more than enough. None will give you this much for CURSED animal." Aron emphasized on fact of curse to show his generosity to the man. Most people would get rid of animal to stop spreading devil disease.
"I am grateful…Thank you. Do you need any help in caring it? Or will you kill it here?" Man wanted to show his sincerity. 
"Let's drag it to my hut!" They strengthened binds on body of animal and dragged it before Aron's hut.
Greg left with satisfaction on his face, crazy sheep wasn't his problem anymore. Boy inserted sheep into space and decided to visit chief to ask about blue mint.
"Blue mint…I have some in my cottage. It's quite uncommon though. I found few stalks near mountains." Blue mint grew only near mountains, so getting it would be hard as nearest mountain was few kilometers away.
"Can you lend me a little bit? I need it!" Carl made weird expression and asked.
"You need it? For what? It's good for fever, however it has weird side effects on humans." It wasn't problem to lend some to Aron. He wanted to know reason behind sudden question of boy.
"I bough sheep from Greg…Yes, crazy one…It has high fever, so maybe getting rid of fever will cure it from its madness." Sometimes, truth was better than smartest lie. Refusal will cause only change of way of getting herb, it was always possible to borrow it from him in other way.
"You want to cure it? Do you know shit about herbs? Stop messing around…" Carl felt little insulted as he thought that Aron is treating herbology as game.

"Whatever. I will lend you little bit…Come later and tell me about your results…" Carl decided to believe kid and handed him few leaves. Losing little of herbs could give him cure for this weird condition and he was interested in Aron's strange ways. 
White-haired boy followed prescription from system and mixed right cure. Only thing left was way to feed the patient. 
'Modern world has plastic tubes…' Those were useful in situations like this one. Patient was unable or unwilling to consume oral medications and only way was to forcefully insert them into bloodstream or throat.
'It doesn't need to be flexible. It needs to reach its throat.' He pondered for a moment and created wooden tube and pushed it into its mouth. Sheep tried to gnaw through it without results. Mixture was poured through tube straight to throat. 
A few moments later, animal eyes changed and it became sleepy. 
'YES! It's working!' Ending of berserk and possible aftereffects of sickness forced it into sleep. 
The treatment of this disease needed to be carried for few days to completely get rid of disease from patient's body.
'No vet profession? What's up system?'

Previously during the month of August, Landon had allocated a large estate within the upper region to the medical volunteers.
He decided to let the estate be a Medical & Healthcare Academy.
Medical care emphasized on disease treatment and care..... While healthcare looked at signs, prevention of diseases, and health promotion and awareness.
Generally, medical and Healthcare had more than hundreds of different professions within it.
From pharmacists to medical assistants, emergency medical technicians, cardiac surgeons, nutritionists, radiation therapists, and so on.
In future, these students would have to specialize in particular areas and perform several operations and jobs within the hospital and clinics.
For now, Landon had given them schedules which they had to follow strictly.
They also had to attend the math, Chemistry and Pyno classes being taught within Baymard.
Chemistry was basically a main course for them... understanding matter, chemical reactions that occur within the body, and chemical compositions within medical drugs was a necessity.
Right now, 100 volunteers had also joined the Academy within this month.. making a total of 200 students.
For their schedules, aside from math, Pyno and Chemistry, the students also took:

With the schedule that Landon had made, on a daily basis the hospital had students who came over and took care of the patients... under the supervision of the nurses and doctors.
The students also did hospital rounds, comforted the patients and did other medical tasks.
In this way, they were learning and practicing at the same time.
Today, Nurse Shanelle had 2 groups to supervise during her 8 hour shift.
The first group of 15 students, would come for 3 and a half hours....While the other group would come after her lunch break.

Once all the students from the first group had arrived at the front of the hospital, she began her roll call.

Once roll call was done, she led them to the locker room that had spare lab coats, gloves, rubber shoes, hair caps, face masks and so on.
The students quickly wore the lab coats and shoes provided, as well as put their gloves and face masks in their lab coat pockets.
Once everyone was done, they followed nurse Shanelle to her office for a 30 minute meeting.
It was now 8:30 A.M, and Shanelle's shift started at 9 A.M... the students were told to always come at least 35 minutes earlier.
"2 days ago, your group came to the hospital and worked under me.....We have been working together since the start of August..... So you all know the drill."
The seated students immediately took out their notebooks and pens, as they waited for her questions.
"Patient Julianna in Ward B-2, says that her tummy is constantly upset, her stomach feels like it's full of water (bloated), she vomits a lot, and her tummy aches as well.
She also says that she always feels like going to relief herself, she has a fever, and she passes out a lot of gas frequently.
She also has trouble swallowing, always feels nauseous, and her stool is loose and watery..... . Causes.. Go!!" 
The students raised their hands in attempt to give their hypotheses. 
"It could be due to indigestion.. she might have been used to eating food without drinking water.... After all from the lectures, indigestion is known to cause bloating, gas release, and deep aches and pains around the belly."

But for this case, food poisoning was the main cause of the issue.

For them, food was edible unless it was visibly rotten.
These people would cook food and leave it outside for days, while eating it.
In fact a lot of them died from food poisoning, and had tummy aches frequently.
For these people, it was normal to eat and have tummy aches.. provided fever and sickness didn't take their lives.
Even when their meat, bread and other food items were molded, they would scrape away the molded parts and continue eating the foods.
At least with the existence of plastic bags and containers in Baymard, the people could successfully cover their food from flies.
But that still didn't change the fact that all food items would expire.
Landon had taken his time to write books on basic hygiene, and the causes, symptoms and treatments of common problems that almost everyone back on earth knew.
He wrote about lactose intolerance, malaria, fever, the common flu or cold, rash treatments, sore throat pain, the importance of washing hands and so on.
Although he hadn't received the medical reward from the system, he wrote about these everyday illnesses based on what he knew.
Landon was sure that everyone on earth had gotten sore throat, fever, flu, headaches, tummy aches, and all the other 'easy' illnesses at some point of their lives.
"Good!!!... so since her diarrhea was caused by food poisoning, how do we solve it?"
"Have her go on a clear liquid diet for 1 day, so that her upset stomach can settle down."

"Having her drink a mixture of boiled ginger and water.... this could reduce inflammation along the throat, as well as strengthen her stomach"

"For her fever, nausea and headache..... we could also add 'featherfew', milkvetch root, and white peony root to the ginger-water mixture"
Nurse Shanelle and the students discussed amongst themselves, and came up with the perfect treatment for Patient Julianna.. As well as several other patients in the other Wards.
They had used 5 minutes to talk about each patient on Shanelle's patient checklist.
And after 30 minutes, it was time finally for her shift to begin.
Shanelle gave each person in the team specific duties for the day.
Some were in charge of preparing and boiling all the medicines for all the patients on the roster, as per Shanelle's instructions.
Others were in charge of communicating with the patients about their illnesses, medication and prevention of their sicknesses.
Some also did therapy massages, wound treatments and and so on.
Of course, before any medication was administered, Shanelle was present to supervise the students... she was also the one that wrote in the patient's medical book as well.
Each time the group came over to the hospital, their duties would change... this was done so that they would gain experience and understanding towards all medical procedures within the hospital.
And just like that by the end of the group's shift, Shanelle had a 10 minute meeting with them on what they did right today, as well as their individual mistakes.

As the group made their way out of the hospital, they kept discussing the events of the day amongst themselves excitedly.
They loved the comments that they had gotten from the patients, as well as those from their supervisor Nurse Shanelle.
Treating people's illnesses, also made them have a sense of accomplishment.
In their opinion, volunteering and choosing to be medical / healthcare students was the best decision that they had made throughout their entire lives.
They had everything.. money, food, housing and job satisfaction... ... what more could they want?
They were proud to be seen as future doctors and nurses of Baymard.

Thinking about how revolting and gluttonous that merchant looked, I frowned. Walking docility next to Kenshin, my eyes travel from cage to cage. Chained slaves that have "freshly" arrived from war zones and made prisoners. Some were born into slavery, has sons or daughters of criminals.

 

Kenshin explained to me as we walked, the fact that I was likely to grace a better future to those I would choose as my "interprets" via the contract. Since they would be serving me, instead of a life worse than what a street-dog would have.

 

The toad man walked toward a cage. There was a fairy, excuse me, I mean a young girl, that has an otherworldly beauty.

 

I look back at Kenshin, and his expression was priceless. I think he forgot to breathe I jab his shin with my elbow, attempting to bring him back to "Earth." Making a low "cough" unable to help myself, I snicker at the fool losing his breath to a beauty.

 

His gaze then fell on me, and I puffed out in uncontrollable laughter. Rolling on the floor as he let out a long sigh.

 

[This prince amuses you hmm? Alright, I this prince will admit this moment of defeat.]

I walked toward them, their eyes were broken and soulless compared to the fairy earlier. They could be considered trash, low abilities and common looks, at best their skin is dry, dark, and dirty. Hair full of tangles and dreads, the small children looked sick. Most were coughing and others looked feverish.

 

I clenched my jaws, my nails started to dig into the floor. I turned my eyes toward the "Toad" man, unconcealed hatred passed into my eyes. Kenshin and the man saw it clear as day, the hate that filled them.

 

Kenshin stayed silent, likely to numb to the suffering of the lower class. Being born into this world, he had seen plenty. While that disgusting toad only saw the profits they could bring. If they couldn't well, he wouldn't care to feed or ensure their health.

 

Tsk.

I turned my head back to look into the cage, seeing in the far corner. Two little ones were hugging one another. The boy held the sickly little girl; she looking like she had difficulty breathing. Her fever seemed to be quite high.

 

I clenched my jaw even tighter. My teeth make a low grinding sound, my gaze sends those unfortunate enough to be pierced by it to sweat profusely. Rubbing his hands, the toad-man shifts his gaze around the room in a nervous unconscious manner.

Some had been scared and had run at the other end of the cage, while the others stared frozen on the spot.      

 

Exiting, the two children started glaring daggers at the "toad." For the mistreatment of the children, I could only feel my heart turn to ice. His existence made my skin crawl.

 

I look toward Kenshin and blatantly walked out; stopping in front of another cage. Where a young, yet sturdy, the man stood. His back to the wall.

[Are you sure you want to take those children? This guy is worth it, but they are a gamble. We don't even know if they can even grow up enough to be of use to you.]     

 

I nodded once with a resolute gaze. Then eyed the man again. I needed one strong person to build the necessary housing and cut the wood for the fire. The boy and girl were too young to be useful in the workforce, I am well aware of the fact.

 

The "toad merchant" smelled sweat and anxiousness pored over his face in excess as I looked at Kenshin. making a tree finger "claws" for one hand sign. After all, the boy and girl are half dead, so getting them for free should be next to expect.

 

The merchant made a grimace, he was being extorted by a beast! But the children were in very poor shape. They could die any moment. So, he haggled.

 

[This one can't give three slaves for one, but this one can give a half price for the two children and a decent price for the man. ]

After repeatedly meeting each other, Snow lover repeatedly falling in love with him so unconditionally and unreservedly in the three worlds despite meeting for the first time, and even not knowing each other is truly absurd and questionable.
After all, unlike the novels he has read on his original life as Snow, there is no way that he will meet the same kind of cliche of circumstances about what happened to those protagonists that were either forced to travel in every world to complete a mission or accepting their circumstances because of desiring wishes and then meeting the fated lover that can travel with them in every world.

Oh, Snow was not looking for an explanation because of being afraid and fearful about the whole entire situation but because he wanted to understand the situation better when it concerns his lover and the oncoming trouble or problem that the two of them might face.
Because Snow has become a Granter because of relating to Karmas, so there is a high chance that Snow possesses some type of karma to his lover, because in the first world that they have met, the two of them have become completely entangled with each other that it has even followed the previous two worlds.
Just a mere coincidence? Snow couldn't entirely believe that reason alone, there is definitely something more between the two of them.
So, maybe in this fourth world, Snow will finally get at least some clue about his lover identity, especially when his lover has finally appeared attached to the world he live in, so different from the other three lives that they have met so far.

Just like what Gian expected, the drought happened in their kingdom a month after some plants died in the Southern part of their kingdom. This drought makes a huge difference in everyone's lives. The people in their kingdom are suffering from hot and dry weather. Gian thought that even though there are a lot of changes since he returned back in time, nature was still the same.
 
The remaining stocks of their sugar and teas were quickly sold out and if someone attempts to buy these things from their neighboring country, then they should pay a higher price for it. But of course, they would not dare to risk such a clumsy idea just because they want to have sugar and tea on their cupboards. And also, they are not that willing to buy those for a higher price than the usual price they usually pay to have it.
 
Just then, their kingdom learned about the new products that the Cres Val had introduced lately in the market. Instead of sugar, they are selling jars of dark-colored honey. According to the shop owners, they can use it as a substitute for sugar.
 
They are also selling two kinds of tea— Hibiscus tea and Lavender tea. These two have an unusual appearance. This tea was put inside a small silk pouch called tea bags. If they want to have a taste of it, it is said that you have to put the small pouches inside the cup and let it soak for some minutes instead of boiling it.

At first, people are hesitating to try their new products. Some still doubt if they can use honey as a substitute for sugar. Even the nobles are doubtful of the tea bags they are selling. It's not really a surprising reaction to Russel. People tend to be doubtful and scared of the things they are not accustomed to doing. But of course, Russel has a solution for this kind of problem.
 
Russel suggested holding a party. He told Gian about it and explain the details of his plan. Russel wants to use the Cres Val's reputation and influence to introduce their products. Russel told Gian to hold a party and use their new products on it. When Gian conveys this idea, the Marquis considers this idea for a while.
 
When they thought that the Marquis will reject their idea, Frederick told Gian that they will be having a party in the Royal Palace in the second week of the month. Gian was surprised not because his father approved of their plan, but because they got permission to use the Royal Palace to hold a party for the nobles. He knows that the Cres Val and the Royal family are once relative because of his father's younger sister. But Gian didn't expect that their family still has a special privilege like this from the Royal family, especially when the King had introduced a new Queen to their kingdom.
 
Gian always has a bitter taste in his mouth whenever he thinks of the Royal family. He can still remember that the cause of his family's death is the Royal family. By just looking at the current situation, The Cres Val family and the Royal family are in good terms. Not only that, but it also seems like his father and the current King are in a friendly relationship with each other.
 
Then why do they need to execute their family in his past life? Did his family do something that provoked the anger of the Royal family? Or the Royal family is the first who betrayed the loyalty and trust of his family? Or maybe someone is manipulating everything behind their backs?

The current Marquis was still the one leading the transaction between the kingdom and their neighboring countries, while his eldest son is a General of the Red Tiger Knights. If someone will become allied with the Cres Val family, with their current status and influences, no one will be disadvantaged.
 
While they are preparing for the party, Gian teaches the servants in their mansion how to prepare the hibiscus and lavender tea. Gian didn't let them go until they fully understand the proper procedure of preparing their new product. But in fact, it was Russel and not Gian who didn't let them go easily. Russel wants them to properly do it so when they serve the tea at the party, no one will commit a single mistake.
 
Russel asked Gian to instruct their chefs to prepare snacks with honey as a base ingredient to make it sweet. Russel planned to surprise the guest with the use of these treats. Aside from tea, Russel also teaches Gian how to make a honey lemon water. Because of drought, they both decided that they will serve it chilled at the party.
 
The preparation for the party is going smoothly. Everyone thought that nothing bad will happen. It is until the night before the party when the people in the mansion are in an uproar.
 
Gian, the one who plans the whole party, is sick. He suddenly has a high fever and has a slight difficulty in breathing. Everyone in the mansion is a concern for their young master. He was fine all day, but he suddenly collapsed while giving his report to the Marquis. The stay-in doctor quickly examined Gian. After the check-up, the doctor said it is due to over fatigue with the combination of the hot weather that causes Gian's sudden sickness.
 
Marquis Cres Val has a grave expression while Viel is ordering the servants to prepare all the things they needed to lower down Gian's fever. Russel can see what is happening while he was placed on the side table. Though the servants are composed and calm, their actions are swift and move without showing any hesitation. It only means that Gian's situation is nothing new for them.
 
Viel instructed the servants to leave Gian's room for a while. Before leaving the room, the doctor gives a small bottle of medicine to Butler Del and instructs him to feed this medicine to Gian every four hours. After that, only the Marquis, Viel, and Gian were left in the room. Gian feels slightly refreshed after a servant wiped his face and neck with a towel soaked in cold water, although his face was still red due to fever.
 
"...You should stay here tomorrow to take a rest." Viel started. "We don't know what will happen if we force you to attend the party even though you are obviously not feeling well."
 
"Viel is right. I think we can handle the party tomorrow. You should prioritize your body first." Marquis Cres Val added.
 
"But—"
 
"You heard the doctor. You got sick because of fatigue. You should have taken a lot of rest too. See what happened to you now." Viel said as he walks towards Gian and runs his fingers through his hair. His actions are gentle yet the words he speaks are full of playfulness. "Ah! My heart is aching to see my little brother getting sick like this."
 
Gian weakly slaps his older brother's hand away from his head. He is currently in this situation, and yet Viel is still trying to annoy him. Does Viel want him to die in annoyance? 
 
"Stop teasing your brother, Viel. Let him take a good rest." Marquis Cres Val scolded Viel before looking at Gian. "We are just concerned about your health. You should take a rest until you recover. Don't think too much about the party tomorrow. We can handle it with ease and make it successful."
 
With his father's resolute voice, Gian doesn't have any choice but to weakly nod his head. If the Marquis will handle it, Gian is sure that he can make the party successful. And besides, Gian already told his father all the details about the products they will be introducing to the nobles tomorrow. He is confident that his father can handle it with ease.
 
After speaking a little more, Frederick and Viel left the room to let Gian have a rest. When Gian is sure that no one is near his room, he slowly sits his body on the bed and reaches for the pen placed on the side table. 
 
"Dude, just rest. It's actually free of charge, you know." Russel said. 
 
"What do you think?" Gian asked, ignoring Russel's words. "Do you think it is alright to let them do the preparation?"
 
"Why asked me if you already made a decision?" Russel asked Gian instead. "But, I think they can also do a good job. With your father's ability, he can surely make the party successful."
 
When Gian heard Russel's opinion about it, he then finally let out a sigh and lay on his bed again. Gian also thinks that he also really needs to rest. In the end, Gian covers himself with a blanket and closes his eyes. 
 
It's been a long time since Gian feels very sick just like this. When he lived as a commoner in his past life, it was rare for him to get sick. Maybe his body adapted to the weather and place where he lived during that time.
 
On the bed, Gian was sleeping and letting out a soft uniform breathing. Russel let out a sigh seeing that Gian was finally okay. In truth, Russel panicked a lot when Gian suddenly collapsed earlier. Even if these things are frequently happening in the mansion, Russel thinks that he can never get used to it. 
 
While looking out for Gian, Russel is also thinking of the party tomorrow. It is true that both of them don't have any opinion if they will leave all the details to Gian's father. Russel didn't know why, but his instincts tell him that something bad will happen tomorrow. Russel can only hope that it is just his imagination.
