Jean wore his Sunday's best early in the morning. He looked in the mirror. A clean-shaven, porcelain-like face stared with its piercing brown eyes and its somewhat thin eyebrows raised.

Jean checked his mouth for any remnants of the eggs and rice he ate almost half an hour ago. Then, he turned off the bathroom lights, ignoring his dirty clothes wrapped in his towel on the hamper at the door.

Jean opened his filing cabinet with his keychain and looked at his accounted expenditures. He wondered briefly about future purchases and profitable investments. Jean shook his head and locked up the cabinet.

Eventually, Jean slipped on his shoes and the standard-issue black clergy cassock. 

It was time. He had deacon duties to do.

The drive to the Renningberry Catholic Church took only minutes. Jean stepped out of his neat and tidy blue Ford Bronco. Although it was getting old, he took diligent care of it.

Jean jingled his keys and opened the rusty doors of the Church. Its noise brought peace to his mind. Even with all the tweeting of birds, it was nice to hear noises that could alert Jean.

Jean held his duties with solemn dedication and maintained the aging organ among many other things. Hours passed and soon, he was done.

Jean laid a Bible in his lap as he sat in front of the organ. His fingers danced across the keys, practicing different arrangement of Gothic music.

A loud thrum of a sputtering transmission broke into the melody, but Jean did not stop. Soon, Pastor Nick arrived. His large form comically contrasted his position, yet his aging appearance showed he did not lack experience. He was a decent-looking man in his fifties, after all.

"Jean! You're here early, like always, huh? You're such a good kid. Are you going to lead the liturgy again?" Pastor Nick called, walking towards the altar.

"Yes, Brother Nick. 'For the Lord Grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.' Proverbs 2:6." Jean replied. He stopped playing.

"I still don't know why you come in so early. A talented and good-hearted kid like you should be sweeping the entertainment industry!" Pastor Nick chuckled. "You play music like a Heaven-sent angel, you know that, Jean?"

"I have faith the Lord guides me to help others. 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.' Proverbs 3:5." 

"Jean! You don't have to be so stiff. Why do you need to quote the Scriptures when both of us are well-read?"

"We must stay true to our teachings. 'Without wise leadership, a nation falls; there is safety in having many advisers.' What better advisers can there be than the Scriptures themselves?"

"Well, I knew I shouldn't have argued with you. You keep drowning me in your faith. Lighten up a little, huh?" Pastor Nick scratched at his stubble.

"I'm just joking with you! I'm young but lacking experience. If I want to enjoy the world, I have to make my own fun, right?" Jean winked at Pastor Nick.

Pastor Nick jarred in his step as he was walking to his office in the basement, suitcase in hand. "Y-yeah. Life's too short to worry so much about. Just don't go overboard. You keep reminding me of old Pastor Francis."

"Fine, Brother Nick. I'll see you at Mass."

Jean continued playing the organ until the main congregation filed in.

Jean rang the bell as Pastor Nick stood behind him. They went through the Rites lethargically. When the hymns came up, Jean lively led the Choir and congregation. Jean preached for the sermon and homily about truth and happiness. He noted the tragic end of William and Veronica, with their children. The Profession of Faith and the Prayers passed quickly.

Small baskets were passed around for donations as offertory began. Soon, the end neared.

Pastor Nick only offered Natalie the pitiful amount of wine left in the chalice. She was recently accepted by Yaler, long served as a volunteer for the homeless and needy, and always had good behavior. 

After the drink, she became a little flushed so Pastor Nick helped her sit on the side. Pastor Nick blessed the congregation but said Natalie told him she wanted to confess her sins privately before leaving on Tuesday.

Members of the congregation shuffled out, slightly tired but invigorated by the teachings of Deacon Jean and Pastor Nick. Their cars slowly pulled out and left only three behind.

Jean softly smirked. He cleaned up the pews and after the Mass methodically. Today was special.

Jean stretched and decided he took long enough. Pastor Nick closed the Church doors for his private session with Natalie. It didn't take a genius to figure out what he was doing.

Jean tucked his thick, hardcover Bible under his armpit. He slowly walked down the steps, appreciating the history of the stone foundation. At the door, he heard muffled noises. Jean unlocked the door and then knocked.

"Brother Nick? It's getting late. Shouldn't Natalie get home soon?"

Jean opened the door mid-sentence.

There, Pastor Nick stood, half-way thrusting into the sprawled form of Natalie. Her hands were bound by taut rope to sconces on the wall and her mouth was filled with a ball gag. Her legs similarly were spread apart, tied, and weakly moving in resistance.

Pastor Nick's arm was drawn back, with a riding crop in hand. It fell out of his grasp. Already, long red lines drew across Natalie's skin, slightly bleeding.

"Jean, wait!"

Jean stood in place, imprinting the memory. How many years had he known this was going on? Too many, that's how many. Father Francis didn't go to the grave willingly, and Jean knew this too...

"Jean, I can explain! This is… yes. She wanted this! We're just having adult fun! There's no need for you to be here!"

"Brother Nick," Jean said, coldly. "I was going to debate the Scriptures with you. 'My eyes are red with weeping; dark shadows circle my eyes." Job 16:16. Is that not what I see from Natalie? 'Shouldn't someone answer this torrent of words? Is a person proved innocent just by a lot of talking?' Job 11:2. Can I trust you anymore, Brother Nick? Shouldn't I trust the words of Natalie?"

Pastor Nick slowly pulled up his pants and walked over to the door.

"Jean. Forget this ever happened. Next time--"

"NEXT TIME?!" Jean thundered.

"Jean!" Pastor Nick bowed to Jean for forgiveness. "Please!" They stood in silence.

Jean began mumbling quietly.

"What was that, Jean?" Pastor Nick asked. Another moment of silence passed.

"I called the police. They're going to arrest you."

"What?! NO! I CAN'T END LIKE THIS! HOW DARE YOU, UNGRATEFUL WHELP!! I WILL KILL YOU!!"

Pastor Nick charged at the door. Jean fled, dropping the phone.

They both ran up the stairs, and Jean let Pastor Nick catch up.

Pastor Nick tackled Jean's legs and screamed in fury. They both fell forwards.

"Let go! Let go! LET GO!!!" Jean yelled at the desperate man.

Pastor Nick pummeled Jean's androgenous legs as Jean tried to slip away.

Jean smiled brightly.

His Bible fell like a guillotine. A cold snap broke the air, and with a swift kick, Pastor Nick fell down the stairs like a ragdoll. A sickening thump splattered the end of his fall.

Jean slowly walked down the stairs, enduring the pounding his legs encountered.

At the bottom, Pastor Nick spawled like broken toy, probably looking like what the many women he groomed and tasted felt like. A pool of red began forming.

Jean bent down to feel his pulse. There was none.

Jean stumbled over to Natalie. He removed the ball gag to hear her sobbing and slowly untied her limbs. She cried endlessly, so Jean patted her head.

"There, there. It's all over. 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.' Revelation 21:4." he cooed.

Jean hugged Natalie until the police arrived.

The city launched an investigation into the incident. Many women attested to Jean's innocence and Pastor Nick's vile ways. There was enough physical evidence to put Pastor Nick behind bars for life and even more. People whispered rumors and spread gossip about Father Francis. Yet, Jean stayed a devout and proud Catholic Christian who acted in heroic self-defence. 

Jean took over the Renningberry Catholic Church. Pope Jon Paul the Great commended Jean and took measures to condemn the sexual misconduct of the Catholic Church while apologizing to victims.

Jean continued living normally, albeit with more respect and publicity. He removed one more shackle, all in the eyes of the public. He could use even more subliminal messages to imprint his alibi into the mind of the public. Jean smiled more brightly in public. It was all going to plan, after all.

How far and how close can he come to reality?

As an Atheist I find myself frequently questioning myself, asking questions such as "Why/How do I exist" or "Why?". These questions have haunted me for years until I reached a certain level of understanding.
 As a child, I attended a Catholic Elementary School and have a certain understanding towards Catholicism. Catholics and Christians mainly believe that the meaning of life is to do good and follow the 10 commandments to ultimately go to heaven when they are dead. This pattern is seen in many religions and some such as Buddhism have a different idea. In Buddhism, it is believed that in life a person should seek enlightenment and in the end achieve enlightenment and become a Buddha. In Hinduism it is believed that a person should do the job assigned to them by the caste system and in the end reincarnate into a higher lifeforms or a higher caste. The ultimate goal is to achieve Moksha and be released from the cycle of reincarnation.
As an atheist in order to find my understanding I have read about the teaching of philosophers and found my answer. While it is not a true answer is exemplifies and cleared most of my doubts away. "I think, therefore I am" by Rene Descartes. It dawned upon me that by being able to question my own existence meant that I truly exist. However this raises another question, "Since I am sure about my own Existence how do I know my family truly exists or how do I know how anyone else is real?"(Comment if you have any ideas). 
After again further research, I stumbled upon the idea of Solipsism and I found it very intriguing. Solipsism is defined by Oxford dictionary as "the view or theory that the self is all that can be known to exist" which is what I covered earlier. However what if I took it one step further and just said only I truly exists. Think back to geometry class where you did proofs. You have a set of givens and from that you prove what is being asked. On the other hand there are reverse proofs. If the question is asking to prove 2 triangles are similar you start by assuming that triangles are similar or  not similar and go on from there. Well since I have no way of proving other people's existence with the given that I know I exist, I will just assume that everyone else is "fake" or not "real" which may not be the good choice but I feel like it is the right choice. Just to be clear, I still treat everyone like I normally do and I act the same but there is just something in the back of my head nagging me feeling the constants and limits of my consciousness because it is ultimately limited to my body.

Mostly just things I wonder about and other stuff

Philip dropped by the hotel where Youngho stayed, he had talked with some Georgian officials about opening Yaniv's shop.

"Lee, I don't know what you did in South Ossetia but the officials here are dying to see you."

It seemed that Youngho's existence was finally known to the Georgian government. Because Philip was known to be one of the leadership of a petrochemical company in here as a disguise, he could freely go in and out of government's buildings. When he found out that the officials already knew about Youngho, who does not come to Georgia often, he was surprised and amazed because he had been living in Georgia trying to earn the government's trust. He was curious to know.

"I supplied necessary items to the isolated Georgians in South Ossetia, and I sold my name too at the same time, haha."

"I think Katya is still selling my name as the owner of the retailer business in South Ossetia."

"Oh, Katya! She is a rare beauty. How did you become so close to her?"

Since Philip tried hard to earn her affection, he was curious about how Youngho was able to lower her guard.

"She's been lonely alone there, so I helped her family move there from Russia. She'd be extremely motivated to work by now. Hahaha…"

"She had a family? Well, I've never heard about that."

'You only looked at her body. I wouldn't have told you too if I were her, you poor man. You need to learn how to be professional. She rather made a move to me.'

Thought Youngho but he was the one to get out of there fast not being able to resist her temptation anymore.

"Okay, then can we visit the officials now? I'd rather meet them now when they're still interested in me."

Youngho was introduced to the Chief and executive director of Georgia's Department of Foreign Investment. They were very excited to meet him in person, which Youngho had not expected at all. It turned out that they had heard about his good deeds in South Ossetia. He supplied daily necessities to isolated Georgian towns despite South Ossetians' cold eyes.
Youngho was treated like a royal messenger to the Georgian officers. In Caucasus regions, the sense of kinship among people was special. People treated someone who had helped their own people very special. They had a deep appreciation for any helpers because they had gone through many countless oppressions as minorities since the beginning of the history. They naturally welcomed Youngho's business in Tbilisi.
The next day, an official came to Youngho's hotel with documents needed to claim a business in Georgia. Youngho signed on the documents and now all the necessary process for the retailer shop was completed easily. Sergey who showed up late was surprised by seeing the progress.

"Lee, you already finished the job for me. I thought it would take longer."

"You know me. I just used my charm over people."

 "Anyway, you did a good job. I thought it'd be more difficult to open a business here."

"Well, I got a permission to build our storage unit in the national property located in the outskirt of the town, and we can find the right spot for the warehouse shop downtown."

"Boss has a lot of expectations for this too. He said since the land price is cheap here, we should buy all the available spots."

Youngho had a thing for owning lands and it seemed that Yaniv was the same too.

"According to a source, big manufacturers based in Paris will make a foray in Tbilisi but if we buy out all the available lands in advance, they can't come, right?"

"Hmmm. I've never heard about that but if they do make it in here, we should be able to compete with them fairly. How come a mafia like you is scared of competing? You became a true businessman now."

"How are you going to compete with big corporation manufacturers?"

"It's not a big thing but we should buy Georgians' hearts ahead of them. When they give their heart, they tend to stay loyal unless a terrible thing happens."

Although loyalty was valued in any relationships in Korea, Georgians' loyalty was on another level. Now that Youngho impressed them by saving isolated Georgians in South Ossetia, success would be an easy thing to achieve.

"Oppa, I like this car so much. Can we take it?"

Charmed by a hummer, Zeynep was stroking its interiors. After hearing that Youngho's company would travel to Armenia, Sergey brought a hummer all of sudden. It was a five-seater car but it had enough room to seat four people in the back. There was a foldable seat attached to the cargo space, so even seven people could fit in the car. Taking the cargo space alone, Zeynep got excited. Because of her, all the suitcases had to be tied to the roof of the car. 
It was a strong and sturdy car that could run as usual in a snowfield and would not be crushed even if it rolled on a hill. Also, because its tires were big as other trucks', it could cross a small river and climb over small obstacles. Judging by Sergey's character, Youngho knew that he had given it to him as a gift for a safe trip, rather than letting him borrow the car.

Traveling around regions of Caucasus, Youngho had complaints about poor road conditions and bad quality rental cars but Sergey's gift had relieved his heart. From Armenia's border, Youngho's company traveled eight hours to get to the famous Lake Sevan. The road condition was so poor on the way due to snow and lack of road construction. He saw many broken cars neglected on the way. Youngho and Jongil took turns to drive on the highlands covered with snow.
The lake used to be as big as Jeju Island in Korea but now it had lost 40% of its volume since the water had been decreasing. However, the size of the body was still huge. Zeynep nagged that she was starving since they only ate a sandwich on the way.
They went to a famous restaurant crowded with travelers and ordered lobsters and trouts which were freshly caught from Lake Sevan. Although they were well-known specialty foods in Lake Sevan, to Youngho and Jongil, they only looked like snacks for drinks.  Looking at the night view of the lake, Youngho cracked lobsters and fed Zeynep. He was looking at Karajan and Fatima's face and quick-witted Fatima already raised her hand to order cognac to the server. They started drinking hard after convincing the family to stay in a cabin near the lake for the night.

Karajan and Fatima seemed to notice that something was weird with Youngho and Jongil since they had been drinking hard lately but they did not ask. An experience of shooting people with a gun would not be forgotten for long. To them, drinking was a temporary relief to forget what they had done. Enjoying the atmosphere helped too.
There was an old guitar next to the counter, so Youngho picked up by the owner's permission. He tuned the guitar, and with his accompaniment, Jongil started to sing with his sweet voice. Listening to Jongil's song was a great way to forget problems. The two used to go to karaoke rooms since high school. Youngho joined Jongil and sang together. When they stopped, people around them asked for another song and it went on and on. Later, the owner brought more drinks on the house. Fatima, who had been worried about Youngho's weird behaviors lately, was relieved to see him enjoying the time.

Youngho could not sing well like Jongil but he could play guitar. Swept away by the atmosphere, he played songs requested by other travelers. As the night was getting deeper, he felt even peaceful. He drank like crazy on purpose, as if he wanted to forget about everything.

Cho Chulhwan and Um Sangtaek in Yerevan greeted Youngho's company looking as if they were about to cry. To surprise them, Youngho visited their retailer shop without calling them ahead. As they hugged each other, their wives Esther and Rebecca, who were helping customers, looked surprised as their eyes were widened to see them.
Youngho noticed that something had changed in their body. As he looked at Chulhwan in question, he smiled. The two wives had been pregnant. Youngho complained saying that why they had not called him about the news but he did not forget to congratulate his friends' wives, now mothers-to-be.

The store was quite busy. Looking at the clothes shipped from Korea, Youngho could see that Yunsuh had been carefully picking them to help their business. Their wives looked much brighter than when they lived in Nagorno-Karabakh as they were better off and safe.

The guys went outside and smoked cigarettes since they could not help out with the store.

"Hey, why didn't you call me ahead? I could've prepared a nice meal at my house."

"Don't say that. Looking at your wives' bellies, I'm glad I didn't call you two. I don't want to give them more work. We were on a trip together and just wanted to stop by to see you."

The two friends felt bad for not being able to treat them. It was such a surprise for them to see their friends who lived far away. Instead of going to their houses, Youngho suggested gathering in a restaurant of the hotel they were staying tonight and bring all of their wives families too. Tufenkian Historic Hotel was a famous hotel in Yerevan and known with its luxurious atmosphere and facility. Since Youngho, a well-known businessman in Baku, came to Yerevan, he wanted to treat his friends and in-laws and save his friends' faces since they did not have any of their own family members nearby.

At the hotel restaurant, 20 of Youngho's company ate together. The restaurant divided the lobby with a partition so that they could have a private area. Although the restaurant was crowded with other travelers came to eat in the evening time, they did not mind and chatted loudly since they were too excited. Except for Insoo in Baku, everyone was gathered.
Youngho thought that the two friends would drink hard but they did not drink much.

"What on earth… Did you guys quit drinking?"

Jongil asked.

"Dude, we're drinking. Don't nag. I was not going to tell this because it's too embarrassing but we have a Catholic doctrine test tomorrow. If I fail, it'll be my third time."

Armenia was Roman Catholic and Georgian was the Greek Orthodox Church. It seemed that the two friends' wives had convinced them to convert to Catholic. Youngho thought that at least it was great that they could still drink.

"Man, if you had been studying, you'll pass anyway. Just drink!"

Said Park Jongil and Youngho also added.

"If you don't drink, you're not my friends anymore."

"What? What have been doing in Georgia? You're trying to drink like you're obsessed."

Youngho and Jongil felt a prick at their conscience.

"Let's drink now. We'll die drinking!"

At Jongil's remark, Zeynep's eyes widend.

"Jongil oppa, I can understand Korean well now. You can die alone but leave Youngho oppa!"

Zeynep's remark made everyone laugh hard.
'Will there be a time when Zeynep could understand Korean slangs?' thought Youngho.

I had to save her. I had no idea where they had taken
Jenny, so I went to the only person I knew might be
able to help. I went to Brother Peter. He was on his

I coughed a little to clear my throat, and he
finally realised I was in the chapel with him. In a

They embraced each other, and then she
pulled away and began to tell her story.
As she spoke, she told me more about the
story of my own wife. There was some information
I had not yet discovered about her: she was in fact a
modest hero. The girl who was being held in the
tower was not just Jenny my beloved, but Jenny the
abolitionist. She had been working fearlessly to
abolish all kinds of slavery, and she feared plans of
future empire expansion would further ignore her
ethical view of the world. This was how she had
met Rose, the freed slave whom Brother Peter had
once courted.
Once I heard all this, I became impatient
with the whole mess and simply pushed my way
past the angry jailer, shaking on the bars and looking around the walls to see if there was an easy
way in. The guard approached to throw me out of
the entrance, but Peter and Rose began to argue
with him, distracting him from the task. Rose began
to insist that I had the right to see Jenny and that he
should respect young love.
"Were you not young once?"
It took some time, but he finally agreed to let
me in.
I was made to wait in a tiny entrance hall,
with an artist's depiction of the passion of the Christ
hanging in a gilt frame. It was an extremely bloody
depiction of the death of Christ, and I had no
stomach for it. I had seen enough bloodshed to last a
lifetime. But the blood was not all that offended me.
The thing that annoyed me most was that Christ
who had died to set people free was hanging on the
wall in a place of captivity.
After some time staring at the picture, I was
led in to see Jenny. She was chained next to the
young, dark-skinned girl who had been captured
before the massacre of my village. It was a small
cell; the other prisoners were men and boys and
were crammed into another cell. We hugged and
cried together. When it was time to go, I whispered
promises that I would free her—not knowing how I
could.
When I came out, I was surprised to see
Peter and Rose holding hands. It seemed he had
been wrong about her marrying.
"This time I will marry you, my sweet
Rose," he said as I approached.
"But, my love, what about being a monk?"
"I have been planning to give it up. I am not
strong enough to make reforms from within the Catholic Church, and thus I am joining the
Anabaptists."
As we went back to the chapel to try to hatch
a plan to save Jenny and the other young girl, Peter
began to tell a story he had read in an illegal

called Dirk Willems, an Anabaptist whose doctrine
was Jesus, peace, and baptism, saved his enemy's
life even though he knew he would be burned to
death afterwards. To burning he was taken, all in the
name of love. As he was burning, he said seventy
times, "O my Lord; my God," and other things like
it. Peter retold a short piece he had written about
this moving story:

The planning went on late into the night, and
finally it became clear that it was virtually
impossible for us to free the prisoners without
risking our very lives. This became even more
abundantly clear when the messenger boy who had
announced where Jenny was came with the sad announcement that the other young girl had been
killed for trying to escape. We all sat in shock for
some time, and the messenger boy joined us. Rose
had travelled in America and England, and in her
travels had met John Woolman, an itinerant Quaker
preacher who openly opposed slavery and war. She
suggested we adopt his practice of worship and sit
in silence to see if the Lord would minister to us
there. Our first plan was to break Jenny from prison
non-violently if we could, but by force if we had to.
But in the still small voice that came in the silence,
we all began to sense that this was not the way.
"I don't have all the answers," I said at last
into the quiet, "and I do have questions. I cannot be
proud in this matter, but I feel I have a solution to
our problem. Violence should be seen as the last
resort, not the first. As for risking all of our lives further, I do not see how this could be a good
thing."
I had an idea, one that would take some time
to convince the others to accept. The cost would be
high, but not too high to pay. I could not tolerate
cruelty to animals, never mind humans, so I was
hardly going to let anyone be cruel to my beloved,
to kill her in cold blood for no real crime. It was
time for action.

March 23rd 2019 and Sarauniya Williams has felt the weight of the world for as long as she could remember. She was an orphan at an early age, her family apparently dropped her off at the front door of an orphanage, knocked and took off. Cliché I know, but here she is on her 25th birthday running for her life.
 
Flaassshhhback! Sarauniya Williams was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Raised by the Sisters of the Mary's Grace Orphanage, Sara's young life was heavily rooted in the church and schooling. Top of her class and extracurricular studies, Sara had hopes of getting out, living a decent life like she saw on TV and raising a family of her own that she would never abandon. Some years later one day the children were on a field trip to New York of all places. Everyone is thrilled of course and couldn't wait to experience the excitement of the city and rush of city life. The most exciting thing they had in Scranton were the Greek and Italian Festivals. The food was great and the rush of people was even nicer, but this was WAY different.

Once they got through the day of visiting old churches and had some down time to roam, the older children, including Sara, were allowed to roam the boardwalk and beach while the chaperones and younger kids stayed in one area. Sarah sat in the sand playing with shells and her friend Jackie came over. Jack was 4 years younger than her but Sara viewed Jackie like the little sister she always wanted. The sand was warm, hot even, to the skin on her thighs exposed by her shorts. The water made a lulling sound with the continual crash of the waves and tide washing up and back. The birds pecked around for stray seafood poking out the sand and the pigeons did their thing, being airborne rodents. Sara closed her eyes and lifted her head to the sky taking deep and slow breaths her doctor had shown her in therapy. "Hey you okay?" Jackie asked softly, not sure if she should bother Sara. "Yeah I'm just enjoying the sound of it all. They say when you lose one of your senses the others naturally heighten themselves to make up for the deficit. Makes everything all the more calming..." she replied with a smile on her face. Jackie looked at her confused, her nose scrunched up "Make up for the def...d....the what?!" she asked, fully perplexed. Sara laughed fully and shook her head "Never mind Jackie" she replied wiping a tear from her eye.

Sara looked out over the horizon and smiled to herself taking in the colors. The sun was setting perfectly in view even though it still warmed her skin. The sky was various warm colors, shades of oranges, red, pinks and some purples blending together. There were stars glittering in the sky and little clouds were moved along quickly by the gentle winds coming off the ocean. "The bus is here girls it's time to go!" Sister Inna Called. She was the nun who found Sara and named her. Sarauniya - Godess, in Sister Inna's native language. Sara always wondered why she was named that considering Sister Inna was catholic but she never got the chance. When they returned home Sara was so tired, she did her nightly routine and fell into bed. And then it happened. Darkness faded to day but the sun seemed to be blocked out buy something else, the moon?" The eclipse has begun! Now it our chance!" a strange man yelled. Sara looked up to the sky and sure enough the moon had a red ring around it from the sun it was hiding, but it was different. Sara shouldn't have been able to see the eclipse in such detail and not without going blind. The wind started to pick up and clouds of dirt and debris came in, and then the roars.

Panicking Sara tried to find the sound so she knew which direction to run and there was a wave of dragons overhead breathing red hot flames across the battlefield. Sarah Looked at the man who called the orders earlier and he had deep set gray eyes shaped by unreasonable long lashes for a man and perfect brows. His hair was long and blonde gleaming silver. It was braided in an intricate style she thought to keep it out his face but she got stuck on the pointed long ears that poked out. There were other men and women just like him on horses but others looked like half beast half human, others looked like they were the horses with a human upper body. As they charged she realized they were coming right towards her and she tried to run. Falling backwards, she tried to catch herself, her hands landing onto the body she tripped over and settling in the massive pool of blood that should have been in the person's torso. She looked away in horror only to see the man's face and notice his eyes were Crimson red and he had fangs. She screamed at the top of her lungs and was awoken by Sister Inna. The other children in the room stared at her frightened by her late night screams and she couldn't stop herself from crying.

In an effort to comfort her, Sister Inna took Sara with her to the kitchen area and made her some tea. Sarah finally managed to calm down and told Sister of what she saw. She wasn't sure how the nun would react but she had to tell someone because she wouldn't get to see her therapist for a few days and she had to get it out now. As she finished relaying the details of her nightmare she noticed Sister Inna paled a bit and looked thoroughly scared. "Sister Inna?" Sara called out softly and Sister Inna seemed to snap back to reality. " Sara dear" Sister Inna started "I know that you have been raised a good catholic girl for many years but there is so much more out there than you could hope to understand. I know this sounds strange coming from me but I can promise you, don't believe everything you read, even in the bible." 

Just then a crack of lighting went off randomly making them both jump and rain started to fall from the skies violently. "No!" Sister Inna whisper yelled and started pulling Sara back to her room. She leaned down to get eye level with Sara and said "Listen to me my little Goddess, understand and remember what I said tonight and that you can trust NO one but your betrotheds" she grabbed Sara by the arms and shook her a bit for emphasis. "Don't you mean betrothed?" she asked, confused and starting to panic. "No, betrotheds. I said what I said now, get to bed!" Sister Inna replied, pushing Sarah into the bedroom and closing the door before she could ask further questions. "Sorry guys" Sarah said to the other kids apologizing for waking them and they all went back to sleep.
The next morning Sara wanted to talk more with Sister Inna but she was nowhere to be found. She looked and waited for a few days because she knew sometimes the sister was called for work at other churches but after two weeks Sara began to worry. Walking up to another Sister she asked "Sister Mae have you seen Sister Inna?" hoping to get some calming news. Sister Mae turned from her dusting with a confused look "Sister who?" she asked. Sister Mae had been here for some time and Sara knew she knew Sister Inna. "Sister Inna, her family is originally from Nigeria, dark brown skin brown eyes, Sister Inna" she replied perplexed and wondering why she had to give details like she was going to put out an APB. 

"I'm sorry Sara I don't know 'Sister Inna', is she new here? Try asking Sister Kathrine." 'No she's not new here you incompetent oaf.' Sara wanted to yell but she nodded and replied "Okay, thanks anyway" before walking off and Sister Mae returned to her chores. After asking a few other nuns and students Sara realized it was like Sister Inna never existed! Her belongings were gone, no one knew of her and Sara knew she didn't imagine the last 14 years of her life. But Sara did as she was told, she never forgot the Sisters words and that's when she began her research into the Supernatural. END FLASSHHHBACCKK!!

Sarauniya was an orphan since she can remember. Life was never easy in the system and only got harder out of it. Problems seems to follow her everywhere but things turn around for her on her 25th birthday. While literally running from her newest life changing event she runs into Murciél. A member of the Brotherhood of Kings. Murciél saves Sarauniya by dining on her attackers and while frozen in fear he walks up to her and caresses her cheek and mutters "mate" before he puts her to sleep in his arms.

Angor didn't say anything. It seemed "destiny" meant completely different things in their view.
To Angor, destiny meant finding the legacy left behind by a great wizard, the nest of a powerful monster, or a hidden treasure vault in an unknown dimension. It called for both luck and effort since one needed a lot of work to find them.
But what Boro said was basically waiting for gold to drop on his head.
Boro saw Angor was unresponsive and stroked his beard with a smile. "My teacher is Mister Wallace, by the way. From him, I learned the strict ways of an academician. I'm too old to compete with young ones."
In other words, he could do nothing other than "picking up leftovers" now.
As they talked, Hami had settled his business with the other apprentices as well. Willingly or not, they agreed to let Hami return to Brute Cavern first, who would convince more people to join the job, one way or another.
Hami came back to Angor with a bright smile. "It's settled. Now quick. I really want to go back."
Angor looked at Hami's expression and felt as if he shouldn't break down someone's hope so cruelly. However… it couldn't be helped now.
"You misunderstood me. I'm not here for a job."
"You're not?" Hami yelled. "Don't tell me you're a recruiter?"
"Well, yes, I think."
"Can-can I see your bone card then?" Hami wasn't convinced.
Angor complied but without revealing his personal information. He only showed the others his accepted quest, which was already printed on his card.
Hami saw the recruitment quest and stomped away, cursing. The other apprentice also returned to their posts in great disappointment.
"Why didn't you tell us earlier? That will make us less sad!" Hami yelled back.
Angor shrugged. "You didn't give me a chance to speak."
"You look pretty young… Why would you accept this quest? Suppose you have a lot of time on your hands, you don't know if you can find enough candidates for sure," Boro asked. He was the only one who wasn't bothered.
Hami interrupted again by speaking first, "Do you even need to ask? Just look at his clothes! An academicism rich kid who doesn't have the guts to accept more challenging jobs, just like you!"
Neither Boro nor Angor said anything. It was another worker in the office who snickered at Hami. "Hey, Hami, so why did you agree to come to this shithole? An office worker isn't exactly a 'more challenging job'."
Hami was getting furious. "Because I was wounded, and I'm not fit for any other quests, you fool! Nobody told me that I need to wait for a stupid replacement to leave this place! Unlike you lots, I'm a true supporter of praxis, like Mister Sunders! Oh, forget it." Hami jerked his head back and looked at Angor again. "Now, tell me, why would a recruiter come at such a time? Most waterways are frozen solid. You can't go anywhere."
"If I remember right, the Devil's Water doesn't freeze easily, right?" replied Angor.
"You're heading to Devil's Water?!" Hami and Boro yelled at the same time.
Angor nodded. 
Hami felt his face burning in embarrassment. He just said that Angor was "a coward who only takes easy jobs", and what Angor said proved the exact opposite—traveling across Devil's Water meant courage. Blind courage.
"Are you perhaps going somewhere around Blackberry Waters or the Whalebone Sea?" Boro asked.
"That's right."
"But those routes will be frozen too, by the time you arrive. It's still too early for you to depart."
"I'm heading to the Land of Revelation by flying above Devil's Water. I have a flying vehicle," Angor explained. "The only route I don't know well is this Devil's Water. I don't think I can get past it without a guide. This is why I came here. I want to ask if any ship is going to Devil's Water these days."
Boro and Hami found their suspicion answered. It was easy for the owner of a flying vehicle to bypass many dangers lurking around Devil's Water. Also, owning a flying vehicle already proved one's strength.
"I won't question your purpose of going there, Mister Padt," said Boro, "as for ships… I'm afraid none of our ships are strong enough to sail there. I can only help you contact the White Clam Ocean Fare Association and see whether they have a ship going to the Land of Revelation recently."
"White Clam Ocean Fare Association? Is it perhaps…"
Boro nodded as he pointed upward. "Yes. Those people. Don't worry, they always agree to bring some recruiters along. But it's rare for us because we Brute Cavern usually do not search for talents across Devil's Water."
"Do you know about The Redbud?" Angor asked.
"The Redbud? That's a ship operated by the association. So you know them? This ship travels along a distant course that usually took more than a year. But it's not at the port at the moment. I think it left half a year ago."
Angor nodded. He asked this question out of the blue. And he wasn't expecting that the recruiter ship he used several years ago belonged to the Floating City.
"I'll go and ask them now, sir. Hope you bring us a brilliant new generation." Boro removed his wizard hat, bowed to Angor, and slowly headed upstairs.
When Angor wondered why the old man needed to go to the second floor, Hami answered him,  "The transmitter used for talking to Floating Mech City is placed up there. They said that it must remain outdoors to receive a signal."
While waiting for Boro, Angor looked around the office curiously.
The building wasn't big. He saw many thick books scattered on the desks and chairs, most of which were difficult reading materials related to various arts.
Most workers were currently reading something while taking notes, which made the whole place look like a library full of eager students.
Apart from the books, Angor was interested in a yellowed nautical chart hanging on the wall beside the staircase. Judging from what he knew, this chart had many problems such as an incorrect measuring scale, and it showed different areas in the wrong sizes. Only the general directions of locations were relatively fine.
He saw the Land of Revelation, the Magus Corridor, and Valhalla Isle on the chart.
But to his confusion, it excluded Old Earth. At where Old Earth was supposed to be, someone instead left a strange picture that looked both like a flower and a weird animal.
It was common for someone to neglect Old Earth since many people never went there before. But why would someone draw a picture instead of leaving it blank?
Boro already returned to the first floor and spoke beside his ears, which surprised him a little.
"This map was left here for God-know-how-long. Either from an apprentice, or a mortal. No one can remember. As you see, it doesn't have much value. We put it here for the sake of decoration. I believe someone found the map at a random corner in the storage."
"The map is usable as long as you only check the directions of destinations," Angor said as he pointed to several names. "At least these are correct, telling from the books I read before. But there's something not right here…"
"Are you talking about the Marginalized Island?" Boro used his cane to point at the strange picture.
"Yeah." Angor chose not to mention the different names of the place. To non-natives, Old Earth was always called the Marginalized Island.
"I didn't know what this meant either. Perhaps it represents the shape of Marginalized Island?" Boro held his chin. "Or maybe the mapmaker did it out of boredom, since it won't affect the other parts of the map."
"I see. I'm planning to head there though."
"To Marginalized Island? That's pretty far, and I don't think you can find any talents there." Boro shook his head but decided not to question Angor's purpose. "I've got an answer. They have a ship departing, but it's not going for the Land of Revelation. They're heading to Ferran Land next week."
Ferran Land? Angor checked the problematic sea chart again.
On the chart, Ferran Land was right next to the Land of Revelation. But from what he remembered, these two places were at least ten thousand kilometers apart.
That might be a great distance in the view of mortals. But not to Gondola.
Angor nodded. "Alright. I'll go with them to Ferran Land. Then I'll go for the Land of Revelation from there."
Again, Boro went upstairs to confirm the new passenger, and he reached an agreement with the ship's holder soon.
"They said yes. However, they hope that you can protect the mortals on the ship while at it, who are the majority of the voyagers. Of course, you're free to abandon them should anything that threatens your life comes about."
"Are there any other supernatural individuals with us?"
"I don't know. But according to conventions, they will have at least one powerful level-3 apprentice serving as a guard, or even wizards, if the ship must sail into Devil's Water in the wrong months."


A young traveler who receives enlightenment from another civilization is on a mission to save his beloved mentor. "Is there a restaurant nearby?" Zhang Lisheng asked in confusion. However, before waiting for the girl to reply, he had already asked Hayde to move the jeep to turn to the side of the road from the stream of traffic.
The young man opened the door and jumped out of the car. He placed his hands above his head to make a shade for himself as he looked at the oasis city that had already been built. When he was about to open his mouth to sigh with emotion, Trish, who was next to him, suddenly hugged his waist.
After that, warm milky white brilliance enveloped him and, with the force under her arm, she brought Zhang Lisheng soaring up into the air together with her. Like a reverse meteor, she drew a long ray of light in the sky and quickly rose to the sky.
"Wow, what an interesting ability! This principle imitates the rocket…" Being hugged tightly by the girl flying in the air several hundreds of meters away from the ground, Zhang Lisheng who felt completely uncomfortable tried to pretend to be at ease and said. However, he was interrupted by a cold "Why?" by Trish instead.
"What do you mean 'why'?" The young man was surprised. Like a tongue twister, he asked in confusion.
"It's so obvious that you were feeling confused but why are you still unwilling to show it in front of me?"
When Zhang Lisheng heard the girl's words, he smiled awkwardly and wanted to deny it. He opened his mouth but could not say anything. In the silence, he heard Trish speaking again, "Are you thinking that I've gradually become more like an Atlantean now that the ancestral gene in my body has been activated and the power of light and fire I master is gradually getting stronger?"
"You're too sensitive, Trish. I never thought like that before," the young man pondered and answered honestly. "But yeah, right now, I can't help but feel that no matter what issue it is, your point of view will definitely be more inclined to Atlantis and me, on the other hand, has always been very scrupulous against those aliens who act as selfless as sages."
"Zhang Lisheng, you really don't understand or you pretend to not understand?" Trish's eyes were gradually covered with a layer of mist. Like a river that was blocked by the dam for a long time, once the damn collapsed, the water would turn into a flood and flow ragingly. However, the girl who seemed to have lost her mind had long seemed to become a deaf. She commanded the power of light stone to draw a mysterious arc in the air, and quickly flew out of the city border of the New Washington A before landing in a wilderness.
Above the yellow sand, under the hot sun, with the help of the impact of the fall, Trish threw herself on Zhang Lisheng and pressed him on the ground, with her body lit with blazing fire. In just a few seconds, she burned everything on their bodies into nothingness.
Facial features that were as beautiful as the sculpture of god; skin that was as soft as cotton; the size of the chest that was not too big but was perky and beautiful that it was so soul-stirring; and the abrupt tightening of the waist and the lower abdomen that revealed slight strong muscles. Staring in flabbergasted at this perfect body that was completely exposed in front of his eyes, Zhang Lisheng's body that he thought had already become 'dead' suddenly had an instinctive reaction.
At this moment, he could completely transform himself into a beast to get rid of the girl's hold but a moment of daze made his mind go blank. After that, he felt his vital part being held by a trembling yet gentle and warm little hands. Slowly, it entered a small moist narrow 'passage' and from there onward, everything became out of control.
The desert began to be filled with obscenity.
After a long time, the passionate release and a long period of moaning of a mixture of pain and pleasure began to slowly dissipate. Trish, who completed the transformation from a 'girl' to a 'woman', also finally calmed down.
Now that the dust had settled, she stood up from the sand and let the sand smoothly slip downward along her smooth skin. After a moment of silence, she said, "We should go to the restaurant to have something to eat. After we have finished replenished our strength, I'll send you to see Tina."
"T-Trish, were you crazy just now?" Stunned over the girl's calmness, the young man felt a moment of speechlessness at once. However, he who felt that he needed to say something still forced a question out of himself.
"Just think of me as crazy. In the future, every time when you come to the Noah World, you must accompany me to be crazy for two days until I find another lover or until you and Tina have gotten married!" Trish replied with an unchanged composure. She looked as though she had regained the image of that smart, introverted, independent Catholic girl who had supernatural powers but the meaning in her words was extremely absurd.
"Looks like you're still crazy now," Zhang Lisheng stood up and wiped off the sand on his body as he whispered.
"The reason I became crazy is you." The girl smiled out of the blue. With tears in her eyes, she looked deeply at Zhang Lisheng's face and said, "However, I don't regret it. I've never felt as happy as today before as long as I could remember…"
Looking into Trish's eyes that were as bright as jewels, the young man felt an inexplicable tug at his heart as well. Hesitantly, he raised an arm and gently wiped off her tears before saying wryly, "Trish, we shouldn't d-do this… Oh sh*t! You really make me feel like an asshole…"
"You only know this now?" Trish took Zhang Lisheng's palm that was placed on her face and chuckled through her tears. She placed his hand on her waist before hugging him tightly again and soaring through the sky.
"Are we flying back to the New Washington A without any clothes like this?" Halfway in the air, Zhang Lisheng asked with a wry smile.
"The light stone produced in my body has reached the 'magma' stage so if I fully diffuse it, nobody will see us in the air unless they observe us through a special perspective instrument."
"Oh this is good news. Then, are we flying directly to the 'Naked Restaurant' in the city for lunch?"
Upon hearing the young man cracking a joke, Trish who was calm on the surface but had a turmoil in her heart secretly sighed in relief before replying, "Baby, regrettably, the New Washington A is built on the oasis of the foreign world and not built on the beach in the Mediterranean. There's no naked beach here, nor is there any naked restaurant. We can only go back to put on some clothes first before going to a normal restaurant for our meal."
As she was speaking, the girl who was flying very fast had already brought Zhang Lisheng into the air above the city. After flying through seven to eight streets, the two of them finally came to a 30-storey high-rise building.
"Are you staying in an apartment, Trish? How are we entering…" Zhang Lisheng who thought that Trish stayed in a standalone mansion like Tina asked in surprise when he saw that the girl no longer fly.
Before he could finish his words, he saw a mirrored hard glass on the top of the high building slowly rising before revealing a spacious living room.
"Let's go in." The girl smiled at the young man and flew into the living room.

My worries were just for naught as I saw all of the dead bodies of my pursuers turned to dust. These phenomenon happened when I fought against the impostor one.
"All of them are Homunculus?!" I didn't believe not a single one of them is human because they are perfectly looking like humans to me.
"Of course not. Human Magicians nowadays tend to be much more cautious that is why they use the homunculus as their slaves to do the deed. They are the perfect tool for assassinations, robbery and disrupting order. And if they are being defeated, they just crumble to dust and erases all of the information about him or her. Perfect for an easy getaway, there is not a single body to investigate and leaving no trace to track which is what you call perfect for sneaky people like rogues," Rena said as she goes out of the building entrance.
"Rena-san... the parcel is here. I brought it safely..."
"Good Job Kazuma. I know you can make it even though you almost lost your life from that."
"Ah, it's not a big deal. It also made me realize how weak and vulnerable I am to other enemies so I need to get stronger in the future. By the way, how is Mirai right now?"
"She is still fine but we need to find the right soul of her body while destroying the remains of the others that inhabit her original body. We already tracked the original body right now and we will be summoning her body here somewhere and perform the severing and rejoining of souls somewhere where the body thief can't occupy anything." Rena said.
"But will everyone be fine? I faced the Body thief before and I almost got killed by it if I didn't escape. It might cause a big rampage instead and hurt everyone."
Another guy appeared behind Rena and I never felt his presence. It was like he blended with the air as he just appeared without any sound. Also, this is the first time I have seen this guy before.
"Body Thiefs might be strong but I already defeated countless of them in the past. With me performing severing of Body Thief in the past due to my job as an exorcist. It's not a big deal for me to defeat a measly body thief."
When the others turned around, they suddenly exclaimed.
"Tsukoyomi? You are already done with your secluded training?" Rena asked.
"You usually train for a year or more depending on your training regime. What makes you come out of your seclusion?" Moonlight asked.
"This is a special event. I managed to get a revelation all of a sudden from the souls of the deceased on the upcoming doom event that might destroy the life of all creatures here on Earth if left alone so I came out to seek help with you guys. After I get out of my seclusion, Zan called me that our newbie, Kazuma, needs help, therefore, I rushed here immediately and managed to get a few info from Raigaki who is tied up in the corner."
"Wait, did you untie him from his bindings?" Rena suddenly turned her face dark.
"Of course not. I know the dangers of Raigaki once he is out of his bindings so it is better for him to stay like that. Don't underestimate what I know about Raigaki's power."
Rena's face turned back to normal after hearing that and she sighed in relief. "Well, thank goodness that you know the protocol."
So this was Tsukoyomi. He is indeed similar to those exorcists that I saw mostly in temples. He has a necklace of a cross which means he is somewhat a catholic man, but from his stances, he seemed to practice and follow Buddhism too? I don't really know. His clothes are a robe that is similar to the robes used in cultivation movies and novels. The only thing that differs him on cultivators is his short hair. He kept it on a crew cut which makes it short compared to the long hair of cultivators. Also, his aura seems very pure and most of the malice present seems to be avoiding him like a plague.
Tsukoyomi looked at me and smiled. "This is our first meeting, Kazuma. I am Tsukoyomi and I specialize in soul repairs, exorcisms, and expertise in soul knowledge. If you need help with that matters, you can ask me for help."
"I am Kazuma Fukuyama, I will make sure to remember that."
"Well, let's get in there shall we? Summoning the Body Thief needs to be easily done so let's get it quick this time so that I can inform everyone on the prediction."

We moved into an open space that Moonlight created using her Spatial Magic. I am tempted to learn that magic but I know that this magic element is one of the hardest to master. But if wanted to get the dimensional storage done, I need to learn that magic indeed. Anyways, back to the situation.
Since we are about to summon a Body Thief, we need to be in an open space, no living things around the vicinity and safe from the destruction that can cause casualty since I reported that the Body Thief occupying the body of Mirai is much stronger than it looks.
Tsukoyomi did a prayer first while concentrating on the cross on his neck. After doing it for a few minutes, he stood up and flick his hand that reveals different items which are all similar to the time I summoned Itazura here in this world.
Precise and expertly done, Tsukoyomi created a magic summoning circle that will act as the summoning circle.
"How can we summon that body thief? It was hard especially that their ties are cut so we can't exactly know where that body of hers is wandering around!" I exclaimed.
"Don't worry Kazuma. I got a bit of soul essence that Mirai exudes out. Since it is originally from Mirai's soul, the body thief would immediately know that this is Mirai and will be used as a bait for the guy to come out of the circle. And from my guess, it won't be easy since there are lots of enemies who eat soul essences too."
The soul essence that Tsukoyomi is talking about looks similar to smoke coming out from the fridge placed in a small bottle. It was on the blue and white side so I didn't bother doing much. If soul essences are the key to capture that guy, I hope that soul essence won't be wasted.
Tsukoyomi started forming different finger gestures before he sliced his thumb with his nails and squeezed out the blood before it landed to the ground where the summoning circle was found. As soon as his blood dripped into the ground, the magic circle started to float out of the floor and started to rotate like crazy. The power of the magic circle this time is so strong that electricity arcs started to appear out the magic circle and was like everything is drawn into the magic circle.
"Hold on tight everyone. This will be a bit hard to do!" Tsukoyomi said as he pulls out a scroll and started reading it in fast tongue that whatever he is about to say, it all passed down to the other side of our ears due to the intangible words he is spouting.
But I realized that the magic circle's rotation is not getting any slower. Instead, it feels like the whole place is spinning due to the high amount of magic being concentrated in one rate. It didn't take too long for something to slowly materialize out in the magic circle. Everyone around frowned as they slowly see the silhouette of the woman in the magic circle. So that means we might have summoned Mirai's body this time.
Tsukoyomi continued to chant even that I no longer know if he is still speaking something or he is speaking some gibberish. The silhouette gets darker and darker until I finally saw the summoned one. That same face and same grin on her face makes me want to remove that monster in existence. That same monster who almost killed me and killed Mirai. That monster who can turn anyone into stone and can destroy enemies in an almost one hit.
As soon as the magic circle stopped spinning, Yaya quickly activated her magic and targeted Mirai's body with her eyes and shot it out on her both hands and feet, immobilizing her. The face of Mirai started to twitch and started to show a disgusting grin. It was really different if you remove her face that is looking like Mirai and I will make sure to annihilate him or her.
"Body Thief is here!" Rena said as she defended the place. Tsukoyomi pulls out an exorcism wand out from thin air. He looks into the Body Thief and he started grinning.
"Looks like I will be enjoying this killing process for quite a while..."


After an incident from his past school, he was forced to transfer from Hokkaido to Tokyo. The timing was just right because his parents died from an incident a few weeks ago and he inherited what was left by his parents.

When he was inspecting the things left by his parents, he was greeted by a mobile phone with a chat group he didn't know of. After succumbing to curiosity, he was introduced to the hidden world that hides in plain sight to protect the humans from lurking danger.

And he was recruited to become one, the one they call "MAGICIANS"
