    "Space, the final frontier" is the phrase from Star Trek that led to many to want to study space. I find that phrase to be a load of crap.

   I have been floating through this empty expanse of space for as long as I recall. The only thing I have seen is the occasional flash of light that occurs in the distance.

   You would think I should head towards those flash of light, right? Wrong. I have tried but for some reason no matter how hard I tried to near them I am stopped by some kind of wall or membrane keeping me from see what said flashes light are.

    The only reason I haven't gone completely insane is an old trick my grandfather taught me that he used as a POW. 

    "1000, 993, 986, 979, 972, 965...." as I counted by from 1000 by 7, something registered in my brain that I have heard in so long. It was somebody's voice.

    I look around and I see something no one would expect to see in space. It was a door with words on it.  I forced myself to get as close as I could to it so I could read what the door said.

    It looks like Greek. Ancient Greek. As I look at the door trying to figure out what it means, the letters on the shift and change to words in English I can understand as:

          Hall of Reincarnation Head Office

    Just as I was about to touch the doorknob, I heard a woman's voice saying loudly "Come in!" I walked or floated in the doorway and see what looked like an empty lawyer's office.

   I asked in a hoarse voice due to I haven't used in a long time "Where am I?".  The woman responds in kind but somewhat familiar voice "You are in my husband's and I's office.  Which is a feat not many souls can accomplish, even though we have been trying to reach you for some time."

   I get a closer look and realize why she sounded familiar to me.  She looks like Madame F***ing Web from Marvel Comics with her voice being the same as her cartoon counterpart from the Spider-Man Cartoon from the 1990s.

   I look at her name plate on the desk and it is also is in Ancient Greek and it says: Ἀνάγκη, Φύλακας της βεβαιότητας. Then those letter start to shift as well and they become: Ananke, Keeper of Certainty.

   My eyes widen slightly while I look at her and with slight fear in my voice I ask "Why would a primordial being such as yourself and your husband want to speak with mortal soul like myself?"

   Ananke chuckles slightly and says "Calm down child.  It's nothing you should truly worry about. My husband just wants to have a conversation with you about the opportunity of a new lifetime for you. If my name is hard for you to pronounce, just call my Ana."

   Ana stands up and walks to what I thought was a large grandfather clock and says "Alright now let's head though this door and the show on the road as you kids say.  Oh, and try not have your thoughts so loudly projected in your head. It can cause him a slight headache."

  Ok note to self primordial being are mind readers like most thought them and other deities to be.  I follow Ana to what I will sound find a rather cliche and she opens it to reveal someone no one would think to see alive and moving again.

"Pardon me, but it appears that I've heard something wrong, mind repeating what say Grand Elder," to be honest, I was a bit daydreaming rather than actually focusing on the Grand Elder's words, something about Greek Gods, sending their regards and what not. I looked beside me, and Magorian seems dumbfounded, "What?" Magorian looked at the Grand Elder blankly as if expecting that what the Grand Elder said is false.

"Ah Magorian, can you please leave us alone," The Grand Elder, makes a shooing gesture with his hand and Magorian having not fully registered at anything, walked out dumbfoundedly. The Grand Elder turned towards me, his gleaming eyes seem to pierce into my soul, "I've lived for over 300 years and I've never seen the Greek Gods liking somebody," he gazed into me, as if wanting to pull all my secrets out of my soul through his piercing eyes.


"What do you mean, Greek God," I'm have a rebellious nature, I refuse to cower down before this Grand Elder. "You were chosen by a God but didn't know why he chose you? This is interesting," What is this guy talking about? Seeing me not answer, he continued, "Just to inform you, the Greek Gods have stretched out their hands to you, as for why you're chosen, you'll find out in the future." I was staggered at this revelation, me chosen and the Greek Gods?


"So the Greek Gods chose me?" I looked at the Grand Elder, still not knowing his name, expecting an answer, he laughed, he simply laughed, I staggered again. "The Greek Gods chose you? Heh, it was another God of another Pantheon that chose you."


I look confused, wait another Pantheon, Wait a minute, I never even believed in God, I'm an atheist, so why do Gods choose me. "Well now that you've got your answer scurry off this temple, I've still got work to do," The Grand Elder waved his hand, and I'm pushed slowly towards the top steps of the temple, I'm magically chased off it seems, and the push is gentle unlike a certain guy that loves pain (Can you guess who?).

There's too much going on today, I was happily killing Aragog, yay mission complete and suddenly I was dragged by Magorian to this Grand Elder who's too old to do any good and was pulled into this Greek Gods mess. Lets recount what happened. One, the Grand Elder saying something about the Greek Gods. Two, the Grand Elder saying that I'm chosen. Three, the Grand Elder saying that I the Greek Gods stretched their hands towards me, whatever that means. Four, the Grand Elder saying that I'm chosen by another God of another Pantheon. And five, I'm done.

I turned around and sighed, what the crap is wrong with this world, I went into Harry Potter and encounter centaurs that actually has town and their Grand Elder and the Greek Gods, this doesn't seem like Harry Potter at all. I thought the Wizarding World is a bunch of atheists who're too arrogant at having magic that they don't believe God. I need to read about the Wizarding World once I'm back at Hogwarts.

I looked around the temple and I spotted Magorian, just the man? Centaur I'm finding. "Hey, Magorian." Magorian simply tilted his head to look at me, he's still confused I see, couldn't blame him, I'm having a headache myself. "Can you give me a ride off this forest," well he nodded absentmindedly patting his back. I climbed onto his back and he galloped right away, I was not ready man. "How did you obtain the favour of the Gods," Magorian did not look back at me and stayed galloping, I'm confused as well. "Uhm, I don't know?"

Magorian seemed to go on galloping after I said that, not reacting whatsoever, I think he's broken in the head. We arrived at the edge of the forest, far in the distant the grand majestic castle, Hogwarts stood, the architecture design of the castle is a piece of art. I bet any king or queen would die to have this castle makes me wonder why no king or queen ever try taking it from the wizards, guess it's because f the enchantment that forbade any non-magicals/muggles from seeing the castle, the Statute of Secrecy has to be uphold.

"Thanks for the ride Magorian," I thankfully bowed in which he immediately without even a single response galloped away, no nod, no bowing back, simply running away. "Tch, rude bunch," I sighed and sat on a stump, seeing the far distant. "Such a beautiful place," a shame I'm here to steal not to study or to teach. It's 5 in the afternoon, night is to come in a few hours, sneaking back into the castle after midnight is the best choice of action.

The Room of requirement is deemed unplottable, it doesn't register in the Marauder's Map. It's a wonder that it exists. I've never thought of this, but if the Room of Requirement is Ravenclaw's secret room, and the Chamber of Secrets is Slytherin's secret room. What about the other two founders, where are their secret rooms at, it can't be that only two founders made secret rooms but the two other don't.

Gryffindor's brash, Hufflepuff's hardworking, Ravenclaw's clever, and Slytherin's cunning. I guess that's why only Sltherin and Ravenclaw built chambers because the two other are either too brash or too hardworking and loyal to build one. He he, what if I built a secret chamber at Hogwarts, won't that be fun.

Although North Liang had millions of miles of fertile land, 90% of it was desolate.
It was because of the desolation that there were not many people in this place, and the distance between the cities was not very great.
This was why Jerry's army could reach other cities in a day.
According to Jerry's plan, he would connect all the cities.
Then, he would organize the people of the kingdom to clear the land and build more cities!
Of course, he couldn't hand all this work to Metis.
Hence, Jerry was prepared to summon more people.
When he took down River City and Peace City, Jerry had taken down a total of ten cities!
Of which, eight were small cities and two were medium cities!

It turned out that when multiple summons were used together, there was an opportunity to summon directly from a group, such as groups of mortals, demigods, or gods.
They were divided into three groups.
Gods were divided into second-generation gods, third-generation gods, fourth-generation gods, and so on.
According to the information stored in his mind, Jerry learned the identities of these ten gods or demigods.
Manto: the daughter of Therese (blind prophet of Thebes) in ancient western mythology, with some prophetic power.
Diomedes: one of the male heroes of Ancient Greece. A hero of the Greek allied forces in the Trojan War. The monarch of Argos. He was helped by Athena in the war and repeatedly defeated the Trojans and won major victories.
Daedalus: Greek mythological figure, son of Matignon, great-grandson of Eriktes, father of Icarus, also an Erich, a great artist, architect, and sculptor; his most famous work was a labyrinth built for Minos, king of Crete, so later people used his name to refer to the labyrinth.
Chiron: the name of a centaur in Ancient Greek mythology. Don't get him mixed up with Charon. Chiron was the son of Kronos and Philulla. Kronos turned Philulla into a mare and mated with her to give birth to Chiron, so Chiron's image was that of a centaur. This origin made him unlike the other centaurs born of Ixion and cloud, who were savage and cruel. He was kind, fair, and hospitable, which also made him a teacher of many Greek heroes. A wise man in ancient Greek mythology.
Epeius: a hero of Greek mythology, who joined the Greek allied forces in the Trojan War and was not only a famous boxer, but also a skilled craftsman who built the Trojan horse with the help of Athena.
Circe: Greek goddess of witchcraft and sorceress, a famous sorceress who lived in seclusion on the island of Eaea. She was the daughter of Helios, the Sun God, and Perseis, one of the oceanic goddesses. She was the sister of Aegis who was the king of Colchis, and the aunt of the Sorceress Medea.
Adonis: the god of spring plants, a handsome man from a royal family, with features as delicate as flowers, which made all the people and things in the world pale in front of him. Adonis was a god who came from the Near East and rose from the dead every year, forever young; as the god of spring plants, he is a god worshipped by women.
Asclepius: a physician. He was a son of Apollo, the god of light, and Coronis, the princess of Thessaly, and, some say he was a son of Apollo and Clemene. He was the Greek god of medicine.
Hymenaios: the god of weddings, son of Dionysus and Aphrodite, the goddess of love. He was in charge of weddings.
Eileithyia: goddess of midwifery, daughter of Zeus and Hera.
Jerry was very satisfied with these two combo summons.
Now that he had a kingdom, he'd not only need people to defend the country and attack other countries, but also gods who could help him manage the kingdom and make it prosper.
Therefore, Jerry was very satisfied with these summons.
But it was not over yet. There were still four more summoning opportunities.
[ Congratulations, Master, you have triggered two consecutive draws. You have summoned the gods Hermes and Dionysus! ]
Jerry was stunned. Hermes? Dionysus? ! Weren't they sons of Zeus?!
He was astonished.
When he first summoned Athena, Hercules, and Metis, he had thought he had used up all his luck.
"What good luck."
Jerry couldn't help but sigh.
At this moment, Jerry's mind also received the information about these two gods.


Jerry traversed across worlds and arrived in a Beast Summoning era. In this world, everyone could summon their own pets. Darkness was looming, and the world was in turmoil. Relying on the power of their summons, many shrines plundered the resources at every corner of the world like tyrants. But when everyone else was summoning adorable pets that could help them in battle, Jerry discovered that his summoned pets were a little different. Other people's pets are all kinds of beasts, but Jerry summoned gods from Greek mythology! King of the Gods, Zeus, “Master! I, Zeus, is at your command!” Athena, “I will fulfil all your requests, master!” Poseidon, “I will conquer this sea in the name of the master!” In constant summons, step after step, Jerry became the supreme ruler of this world!


This section of returning to the past was more pleasant than all the previous ones, but Hao Ren knew that traveling in the distorted space and time was nowhere near pleasant.
There were always things out of his expectations and troubles that awaited him.
They had met Vivian wandering in the Amazon Jungle. But before they could talk, Vivian had gone into her pre-hibernation state of violence, which almost wiped out Hao Ren's entire team.
On the steppes of Mongolia, Vivian's mausoleum was right before their eyes. But the sudden appearance of close to a hundred demon hunters and more remnants of the werewolves had dragged them into a melee. With the protection of his Steel Membrane Shield, Hao Ren went ahead to wake Vivian up amid the violent bombardment.
In ancient Rome, towards the end of the Mythological Era, God knows what would await them.
After changing into costumes that were appropriate to the era, Hao Ren and his team wandered the city of Rome as they gathered information along the way.
The ancient city surprised Hao Ren. Compared with the barbaric American tribal settlements and polluted European towns in medieval times, the order and grandeur of Rome was a miracle. From a municipal point of view, it was even more beautiful and livable than the medieval European cities more than a thousand years later. At least in Rome, there was no rotten smell. There were big houses on the side of the road, exquisite stone carvings everywhere, and decorative pillars that projected the power of the Roman Republic. All these things combined was the embryonic form of a mighty empire. At that time, Rome was only a republic and not an empire, but it had already manifested some of the qualities of an empire. These qualities were embedded in the grandeur of urban architecture and in the proud as well as confident faces of the people.

Her voice was filled with emotions looking at the city where she was 'born.'"Even In the era of the Republic, Rome had comprehensive urban planning. There were professionally-managed drainage system and sewage treatment, but the Germans from the wildland had smashed these facilities to the ground—barbarism destroyed civilization. Until the fifteenth century, Paris in France still did not manage to recreate the sewerage technology of the Roman era. Tsk tsk."
Little Bat had great respect for this city. After all, it was her hometown where she had an emotional attachment.
Lily stretched her neck and looked around. "Can we find Vivian just by strolling around in the city?"
"Of course not. But it is the best way we can use right now." Hessiana glanced at Lily. "First of all, I cannot remember what happened when I was little, it has been two thousand years. The tail end of the Mythological Era; Hessiana's description was apt.
"At this time, are the gods on Mount Olympus still there? Hasse, tell me about this period and the gods." Hao Ren said.
Hasse's face was still emotionless. "This is the end time of the Mythological Era, and all the foreign gods on this planet are going downhill as the demon hunters continue their attack on the gods. Another reason for their decline is that their ruling method is unsustainable. At this time, Odin of the Nordic side is still sending Valkyries to collect spirit warriors to get ready for the Twilight of the Gods. But the Zeus family on Mount Olympus is losing the battle. If I remember it correctly, before the rise of Caesar, the demon hunter, Amatura, had led an army and brought down the dimensional barrier of Olympus. Our soldiers and the Ares' army fought for decades at the foot of Mount Olympus. During Caesar's time, I again led a second battle group to attack Apollo from the south of Mount Olympus and went all the way up to the throne of Zeus. And you know the rest of the story; we destroyed the energy furnace and control center of Olympus, and the collapse of the dimension was clearly visible in the human world."
Hao Ren certainly knew this last big event. He also knew that when Mount Olympus fell, there was a group of sirens on the sea. The strange items collectors salvaged many things that dropped from Mount Olympus. Among the items the sirens had taken was the statue of Vivian.
"When was it?" Hao Ren looked at Hasse. "Was Rome a republic or an empire? Was Caesar assassinated?"
"Then I have no idea," Hasse shrugged. "We did not care about the human world, at least that was the case at that time. To us, the succession of the throne and social change in the human kingdoms were no different from a troop of monkeys getting a new leader."
Hao Ren was stupefied.
After hearing what Hasse said, Lily kept looking around curiously. "If that is the case, the demon hunters must be attacking Mount Olympus now."
Hasse nodded. "Not only that, even I in history might be in the battlefield now."
"I cannot really see from here. The world of the gods is crumbling, but human society in Rome is still business as usual. Look there, a bunch of monks is still strolling around!"
"It is indeed true. The war in the divine realm is a remote happening to the humans. The otherworldlings used their superb technology or magic to create various other dimensions. They wanted to show that they were powerful, and they did not want to live with the 'inferior, ignorant' humans. But this ultimately shielded the human world from the war of the gods, because all main battlefields were in the divine realms. Of course, the battle of the gods had an impact on humans, but it often happened at the end of the war. When the celestial spheres crumbled down, debris fell into the world and left behind many legends, such as the Twilight of Gods. All this has been passed down as myths and legends."
While Lily and Hasse discussed the fight of the gods, an idea suddenly crossed Hao Ren's mind.
Hao Ren realized that he might have another way to find out the whereabouts of Vivian.
"The gods of Olympus are still not dead yet, right?"
Hasse glanced at Hao Ren. "Hard to say. But judging from the current atmosphere in the city, humans have not noticed the collapse of Olympus. The gods of Olympus should still be alive."
"That will be easy." Hao Ren clapped. "Let us go and find a temple!"
"What for?" Lily had no clue what Hao Ren was up to.
"Look for the so-called 'God' to find out the situation!"
Temples were abundant in Rome.
As a country of inclusiveness and acceptance of foreign elements, Rome had never declined the foreign religions from settling in the land. As long as they did not adversely affect the foundation of the country and deny the Romans their own values, then foreign religions could easily find a foothold in the city—of course, they were required to pay for it. This open-door policy directly led to religions sprouted like mushrooms after the rain in Rome.
In the process of religious fusion, the ancient Greek gods from the Greek peninsula became the dominant religion. This otherworldling family, which was at its peak during the Middle Ages, spread their influence throughout the Mediterranean region—the ancient Greek peninsula, the ancient Italian peninsula, and the vast areas surrounding them. Many of the gods were mainly Olympians or their incarnations and variants in the world.
There was a less accurate saying that the Roman gods were Greek. This theory lacked professionalism and diligence in archaeology and mythology, but many gods worshipped in Rome did have the shadows of Greek gods. As the greatest successor of ancient Greek civilization, the Romans had included over half of the Greek gods into their own mythological system and fused the gods together. Even though the gods' name and title had changed, in essence, the offerings in the temples would eventually be sent to the same place: Mount Olympus.
Hao Ren once learned from Vivian about the method by which the ancient gods ruled the human world. These gods lived in the divine realm isolated from the human world. But to accept the offering and show their majesty, they must leave a channel of communication by which the mortal could communicate with them. This channel was in the form of the temples built under their inspiration. Other than the small religions and temples, large temples or registered temples had professional priests, who were considered to have the power to communicate with the gods, and in fact, it was true.
At least until the death of the gods, the human spokespersons they chose were able to connect with their gods.
After thirty minutes of getting lost, Hao Ren found a place that seemed right: the Temple of Apollo.

Zoe 's Pov 

My head is spinning and it took me a moment to realise that my head is paining very badly. What happened last night maybe I should ask Emma. I opened my eyes and saw an unfamiliar room. I squeeze my eyes shut maybe I was dreaming when I open them again the same room WHAT THE HELL!!! What happened last night?? When did I land up in this room?? And where is Emma ?? So many questions but no answers. I tried to remember but every thing is blur only thing I can remember is a pair ofdeep blue eyes. They were looking at me in concern. I look around the room the walls are all white and one wall has beautiful portraits. While scanning the room I saw that at the side of the bed some medicines and a glass of juice was kept. The medicines reminded me the pain in my head maybe I should search for some Tylenol. Taking the medicine and drinking the juice I tried to stand waaoooo I still didn't get my balance back for a minute I stood there and when I was feeling a bit ok then I took my heels and headed straight to the exit of the hotel. OH SHIT!! this is the most expensive hotels in Italy when did I landed here. "Mi scusi signora" ("Excuse me miss. ")a man said . I looked back and saw a man standing in white clothes he looks like a driver I guess ."Sì"? ("Yes ?" )I replied more or less asked. "Sir mi ha detto di farvi scendere" 

 ( "Sir told me to drop you .)" I looked at him confused and thought that maybe he has Been mistaken me for someone else. "Mi dispiace che tu abbia sbagliato "("I am sorry I think you have been mistaken.") No maam, Sir mi ha detto che una signora in abito blu 

 sarebbe venuto fuori in qualsiasi momento. Devo abbandonare a casa sua. "(" No maam,Sir told me that a lady in Blue dress would be coming out anytime. I have to drop her at her home.") I was shocked that a man bought me here . Without thinking twice i sat in the car. On the way back my mind was consumed by only two thoughts 1) Em must be freaking out. 

 2) those beautiful pair of deep blue eyes looking intently at me. 

 My thoughts were broken by the driver's voice "Signora"abbiamo raggiunto ".( "Ma'am we have reached ".) I thanked him. And move towards our apartment were inside would be furious Emma waiting for me. With a heavy sigh " Its going to be a long day." As soon as I steped inside the house "WERE THE HELLLL HAVE YOU BEEN"she yelled" I CALLED YOU ZILLION TIMES AND YOU HAVE NO TIME TO PICK MY CALLS." I can tell if she would be a cartoon character so right now her face would be red and smoke must be coming out of her ears but her voice had something else to it which made one thing clear that it wasn't not only me who was messing with her head so I quickly interrupted her "Emi cool down, I know i was gone but.."."SERIOUSLY YOU ARE ASKING ME TO COOL DOWN ???" I opened my mouth to speak but she raised her hand as the traffic policeman do when he stops the one side traffic. "I WAS JUST GONE FOR TWO MINUTES ZOE AND I FUCKING TOLD YOU TO BE WERE YOU ARE... BUT YOU?? YOU JUST VANISHED I LOOKED FOR YOU EVERY DAMN PLACE BUT YOU WERE NOWHERE. I EVEN CALLED STELL-- " I cut her rant 

 "Emi Emi just relax I know that you where worried about me and I am sorry I didn't even know that What happened but look I am here infront of you safe and I promise I will never do this again....OHK!!!.So relax and I will tell whatever bit and pieces i reremember." So there I told her what happened how I went to the washroom and the next when I open my eyes I was in a luxurious hotel room. After listening to me patiently I asked " What did I miss after you know."Emma shifted uncomfortablely and taking few seconds she just said " Fucking Ryan" and started crying . "What did he do??? Did he hurt you??? Did he do something that you didnt wanted to do???."Emma just shakes her head in negative and said "he ditched me he broke up with me I can't imagine that a guy ditched Me!! I mean he broke up with me the diva of the college." I signed oh that's why she was crying Emma will always be Emma the drama queen. "So spill out what happened will you" I said through clenched teeth. She toke a dramatic sigh and started " Oh you know last night I told you to stay and I will be back" she glared at me shaking her head she continued "So I went in the search of THIS MOTHERBOARD RYAN SO that we could return home and you will not believe what I saw I knew he was cheating on me but the thing that hurt me was with whom he was cheating ". There was a sign of betrayal in her eyes. I slowly asked "who". "Dell". I was like did she said Dell but that completely justify her unpredictable behavior around Ryan and Emma. 

 What do you think Zoe will do hearing that delena was the person who was the reason Ryan was cheating on Emma?? 

We were lounging on the couch when we had an unexpected guest our own stella. Stella was bouncing with excitement about something I could see the brightness in her eyes she was very eager to announce something and I tell you when ever she is in such a mood there is something very big to happen. Here she started her rant "You know you know there such a big news I have I am so excited too excited o my god "(speaking in Italian). Calm down will you and please English version Stella." She sheepishly grinned" Oops I got too excited so what I was telling was that there is these two handsome and rich sons of a businessman who is a close friend of my dad who is throwing a grand party in the honor of his sons coming back to Florida. I have heard that both of them are greek gods in looks and both are single I mean how can they be but whatever I have come here to invite both of you for the maskurate party . 

She started babbling about how the party was going to be and about the decorations and mostly about the two mysterious guys which we hardly know. Thinking about mysterious guys my mind went back to the room of that hotel. 

 Who was that guy who bought me there. If I had only seen his face so I could have thanked him in person but as drunk as I was I only remember those pair of beautiful ocean blue eyes. 

 I was lost in the thoughts of past that I cannot make out what was the girls were discussing..."Yaa this is great!!!!" Emma said cheerfully." What do you think Zoe??? Zoe.... zoe can you hear me??"" Aamm ya I.....it's great you can go ahead" I said a tat bit confused. 

 "Ohk!! Then we will be ready at 8 pm. 

 Ohk!! " Stella jumped and started walking out and said from the shoulders "see you then!!." Uff god!! now what again a stupid party. 

 And not the normal one it's the fucking masquerade party!!! And who are these stupid guys or should I say greek gods in Stella's language can't they just stay calm oh God I am soo damn annoyed I can't handle these parties anymore I wanted to say this to Emma but looking at her excitement I just don't have this nerve to ruin this otherwise she will definitely lecture me like she is the teacher and I am 5 yrs old misbehaving and annoying child. Uhhggg can't they give me a bit of a break!! NO OFCOURSE NOT!!. 

 The time passed as I helped Emma for choosing the dress for the party. In that process I too found one. Emma was wearing a black strapless gown and a black colour beautiful mask. Whereas I was wearing a simple but yet elegant red gown with red stiletto and my mask was also black but it was not that beautiful as compared to Emma. We got dressed up and headed straight to the venue i.e Stella's house. 

 It irks me when Emma asked me the same question " EXCITED " I held out my breath and said "VERY" ( NOTE THE SARCASM ).I started to fidget my fingers. Emma looking at my fingers said 

 "Awww don't be cranky!!!". I tried to hide it and said "who is being cranky." 

 She just gave me a look of 'I know you too well' and pulled over the large mansion. "Amazing isn't it" exclaimed Emma. I didn't realise that my mouth was popped open until Emma close it. All the way laughing. 

 "Come on let's go fish" she said with a grin and got out of the car. I followed her inside the mansion and entered with our masks on. We admiring the beauty of the mansion when suddenly there was a tab on Emma's shoulder. We turned and there was she stupidly grinning Stella. I don't understand these two I mean when ever there are hot guys they both go like all grinning and susuhig all the time. And the best part when boys approach these two get on their attitude mode on. 

After some time... 

 Emma and Stella are talking to some boys and I am sulking here cursing why did I ever said yes for coming here as usual this party is boring just like uhhh!!. At that same instant an announcement was made to gear urself for the awaited dance with a random 

 Guys. I was started to get nervous thinking about the dance. The dance started and after every 5 minutes we have to switch partners. I was looking around and saw emma dancing followed by stella my eyes stopped when i spotted a pair of blue eyes looking towards me i dont know but they somehow was familiar i also started to look into his eyes. That guy was across the hall dancing with a random girl. Then again the partners changed now we were close. I closed my eyes and in a swing i was in his arms he looked down with blue eyes of his. And i immediately figured it out that these were the eyes that were consuming me since yesterday. Is he the one helping me last night?. Should i ask??. I was about to say some thing when he complimented me "you really look beautiful.....and your eyes are.......different." different????. "Different in a negative sense". But he moved his head from left to right in denial. Guessing what i was thinking. Again the song changed and the partners too. I really need to ask about the previous night. 

Third party pov 

 Emma was fidgetting with her dress and at the same instant dancing and recording the faws of every dancer. "OH GOD CANT I GET A REAL GENTLEMEN!!!. GUESS WHAT NOOO!!!. UGHH!!" She said when again a partner changed and when she looked up she saw a green pair of eyes and a smirking face. Irritated she said "WHAT!!!." His smirk grew more. But inside she was thinking that he is looking hot in that black tuxs of his. He said "Nothing i was just wondering that ur kind of womens will never will get over yourselves." 

 Getting more irritated I said "really now you are going to bash at me without even knowing me properly??". "Yes why not" said that jerk arrogant man. Ugggghhhhhh why me good lord why i always have to deal with every jerk in the party.

Two friends enjoying the regular college life which turns out to be not so regular .

"Haruto…."
My head was still aching from the experience. I did not know where I was but there was something familiar about the smell. It was hard to think… I let the voices float and drift inside my head.
"He's fine… just injured… Ambrosia… cure him…."
It was hard to place who was speaking with whom. One voice was all I could make out from the million my mind was processing.
Chiron.
The realization instantly made my eyes flutter. The sunlight outside was softly filtered by the Venetian blinds. Two, maybe three, blinks and it dawned on me I was in an office. In a makeshift cot. Chiron's wheelchair-bound disguise was in front of me, looking at me as if he were Professor Xavier. He smiled in such a way, too.
"Chi—ahh," I tried to sit up but a hand caught me from falling. I recognized the beret and the celebrity smile of the man. "Kenneth?"
Kenneth smiled gently and helped me prop up to lean against the dresser. "Long time no see, Haruto."
"I plan to." My mood began to sour up. Why the heck are they here?
"We are watching over a demigod here at Sheffield. We decided not to escort you two back to camp with one of you two wounded. It would be too dangerous to send two demigods of the Elder Gods."
"Two demigods?" Then the memories reeled in. The cute ginger girl had sent an earthquake to seal up the shadow monster but before I could kid about the scenario, she passed out in my arms. Could she be a daughter of Poseidon?
Chiron answered as if he were reading my mind again. "We have a hypothesis that she could be a child of the Big Three, but then again, we could never be sure unless we interview her mother. And of course, if her godly parent will claim her. The three Olympians have gone silent right after the commotion a few years ago. I am afraid they would not talk to each other after that, let alone talk to their children. We are up to something more sinister than Gaia herself."
I reclined back to the cot. I did not want to be here to be lectured by Chiron. "So you need more ammunition. To please those damn gods. To do dirty things on their bidding," I muttered under my breath.
Both Chiron and Kenneth frowned. Chiron sighed and put a hand on my shoulder. I tried to shrug it off but his grip was too firm for my weakened state.
"We do not ask you to be part of this. But… the Fates have a funny way of tying strings together. What made you go up north here in Minnesota anyway?"
Unmindfully, I glanced at my pocket. Aside from my earpods, the compass was in my jeans, humming with energy. In truth, the compass pointed me to Minneapolis. Or maybe Chiron's presence made it point there.
"Just by instincts," I lied. "Minnesota is a pretty quiet state. Away from Camp. Away from New York and the gods."
"Yet you are still in America, under the gods' power. If you really want a quiet life, you will travel up to Canada."
"Well, this is the northernmost I can get! Without losing my powers and being overpowered by northern monsters! The way to Alaska is overrun by Giants, right?"
Chiron pursed his lips. He was about to say something when the door opened and revealed Gingerbread Girl.
For a moment, I thought I saw sparkles in her eyes but it was probably just my imagination. She looked at me for a moment and then at Chiron and Kenneth. She was still obviously weak but she tried to walk up straight and approach the wheelchair-bound principal.
"Mr. Ryder, you were calling me?" She was short of breath, collapsing on the ottoman next to my cot.
She looked like Anastasia from that cartoon based on a lore about a dead Russian duchess. Also, her red hair, her blue eyes, and the light splash of freckles on her face… she looked like she jumped out straight from a roleplay VR game.
I was too distracted gaping at the pied beauty next to me but the girl—Giselle, isn't it?—waved her hand in front of my face. "Hello?" She asked.
I frowned and swatted her hand away. "What?"
Chiron chuckled. "We were talking about you and Kenneth escorting Giselle back to camp."
That made things a little clearer. "What? No! I do not want to go there again. I am not born to be a pawn of the gods!"
Thunder rolled in the clear, cool Minnesotan afternoon. Dad was angry.
"Ope, what was that? What the—" Giselle looked like a frightened mouse in a field. "Thunder? On a clear day? Is this for real?"
"Yes. You see, Giselle. There is something that you need to know about legends. Remember the times I taught History when Mrs. Devaughn was out of commission?"
Giselle nodded. "You and your sword fights against the chalkboard."
Chiron opened an old Architecture Digest magazine and flipped through the pages. He showed a picture of Zeus, with his tiny penis and thunderbolt.
"Everything you think is fantasy… is real, my dear. Gods, Greek gods, specifically," Chiron patiently told Giselle. "Come. Kenneth and I will show you something."
Giselle looked at her phone and then at the two men, and sighed. "Just… until three-thirty, Sir. My Mom would be mad."
Chiron just smiled. "We will take care of everything. For now, you should know something about the camp Mr. Sheridan and I were talking about yesterday."

Ten minutes and I knew I had to escape.
Not that I do not like my fellow campers but there was something about Camp that makes me feel a little uneasy. I heard some rumors that the gods were willing to kill baby monsters for the sake of keeping them in check. Monster or not, it was still terrible. Other news was not so good either. Aside from the rumors of killing baby monsters, some of the demigods who failed in their quests were shunned by their cabins, hence, growing distant from Camp and being invited to the path of darkness.
As a son of Zeus, I was expected to follow all the rules of the camp, as the previous Jason Grace had done. However, there was another child of Zeus who did not: Thalia. If anything, Thalia had become my role model, as she was a literal living legend. But she was far from camp with her sisters-in-arms doing work on behalf of the goddess Artemis. Thalia still technically followed the rules of her goddess. Other than that, stories told us that she was one of the runaway demigods in the past. She, Annabeth Chase, and Luke Castellan… all three of them once tried to run away from their destinies as life-size godly toys.
As I was mulling over, I noticed something outside. Giselle was walking briskly with Chiron and Kenneth, disappearing to the back of the school. It was the perfect opportunity to escape.
Thanks to ambrosia, energy surged back into my body, allowing me to stand up and creep towards the door. Escaping the hallway was easy. I passed as an injured student on his way home. Some of the girls eyed me. I winked back at them but there was no time to play games. I needed to escape before Chiron and Kenneth came back with the girl.
I slinked away from the main building. The guard did not even look at me as I slipped out of the school grounds. Once my feet were on the sidewalk, I ran away from Sheffield as fast as possible.
Manipulating the wind was easy. It made me glide in and out of crowds, slipping past through alleys. Running away was easy. It cleared my mind from the buzzing voices inside my head. No Chiron. No Liz. No Kenneth. Not even the new girl.
An explosion shook the ground softly. I turned my head to its direction and wished I had not. I should have made a run for it. But the compass in my jeans started to heat up, as it always does every time I tried to escape where it wanted me to go. I pulled it out and looked at its red tip. It insisted on the way of the explosion. Sheffield was east of it; it clearly was not caused by Gingerbread Girl or Chiron.
Not wanting the compass to burn my skin, I dashed towards the explosion, towards the suburbs. In no time, I was breathing heavily, a little burned out now, but looking at where the explosion could have started.
One of the houses was burning. I detected the smell of petroleum gas from the black smoke that surrounded the house. A woman screamed from the inside.
I ran towards the front door, kicking the door open. I was greeted by a large column of noxious smoke caused by the fire. Most of the living room was in flames. In the midst of the raging fire was a woman, crying uncontrollably. A solidified shadow seemed to gag her mouth tightly. I tried to step forward but she tore the shadow on her mouth to warn me.
"HELP ME! Giselle… TELL GISELLE! PLEASE!"
Giselle? Like, Giselle Giselle? I tried to quickly look for some clues in the living room. A familiar redhead was in one of the pictures framed on the wall. She was about seven years old, missing a tooth but still smiling.
Giselle.  Her mom? But why?
A bolt of lightning was about to send the shadowy figure to dust but I reconsidered the fact that the woman was in its hold. It was making her hostage at the moment. I hate this. I could not move to save her.
Well, well, well. I have heard that a friend of yours sent my brother into pieces. We had to act quickly. We need the girl to realize her powers and use it for Darkness.
What the heck are they talking about? Darkness. Shadowy figures. Something about these clues made me uneasy. But I stood my ground in front of the hostage-taker. "What the heck are you talking about? I do not know any girl. Besides, you'll die anyway. The way your little shadow friend did this morning."
Its chilling chuckle surrounded me like a cold, heavy blanket. Go on and try, young demigod. Darkness will rule over Creation. Khaos is waiting for a chance. The reign of the Olympians will be over! But first… I would have to make sure no upstart witnesses would survive. Starting with… The figure began to coil its tendril tighter around the woman. I spat out a curse. The heat of the burning building was too much for my skin. The air was too noxious to be controlled and used as propulsion to attack the figure upfront.
"No!" Quickly, I carefully channeled my lightning blast in front of the shadowy figure. It bellowed in pain, releasing the woman from its hold. Perfect. Now I could….
Another onslaught of lightning blasts would have sent the figure back to Tartarus. But the moment I was about to punch him with a fistful of lightning, the shadow dissipated, along with the woman.
The fire still consumed the living room. The pictures on the wall were all but untouched. My eyes felt like they were fried by the steam and smoke. The sound of the firefighters woke me up from the daze, sending me to think of a way to escape. I should be quick now; any moment, the firefighters would come and point me as the arsonist. I found an unceremonious exit in the kitchen, slashing my way towards it. I could already hear the rescuers trying to put out the fire in the living room. Now that the free, cool air was controllable, I dashed once again towards the forest, not knowing where the wind would take me.
The blood-red sun was setting behind me. Plumes of black smoke still floated around the house from afar. Despite the considerable distance from those suburbs, I still heard the cry of a girl from where I had been.
