The top (fifth) floor - a floor-through apartment in the Brooklyn borough of New Amsterdam City.
"Why is that lady covered in mayonnaise?", innocently asks a blonde-haired little girl with a twin tail hairstyle.
Yinyuyu with tears in her eyes, hugs the little girl. "It's going to be ok. Everything is going to be ok."
"Why are you crying?", asks the little girl.
A few days ago, the hostages were brought to this apartment. 
The hostages were chained and had severe restrictions placed on them; entertainment was limited, meals and sleep were synchronized, and bathroom breaks were accompanied by at least two guards. The guards, however, did give the hostages some sliver of privacy when the hostages were attending to "private matters" in the bathroom.
Yinyuyu has kept a low profile; uppity people get taken to one of the private rooms by the guards and come back disheveled, distraught, and "covered in mayonnaise" - by the little girl's terminology.
Yinyuyu did hear snippets of conversations from the guards; negotiations are going poorly, superheroes are on the case, and the hostages are doomed as soon as there is a whiff of a rescue attempt.
Yinyuyu does her best to keep her spirits up; and passes the time by eavesdropping on conversations and playing cards with her fellow hostages.

A nearly rooftop overlooking the apartment where the hostages are being kept. Like the other buildings in the area, the rooftop - and the building it rests on - is owned by a subsidiary of the Malger Group.
"What does your gay-dar say?", Sonic Boom says with a malicious grin.
"Fuck off, boomer", replies Mr. Perception - a masked white man with blond hair, a white and blue spandex costume with a large cartoon eye emblazon in the center of the chest, and numerous corportate logos; Mr. Perception's corporate sponsorships primarily consist of data aggregate firms and detective agencies.
"Ohh... boomer, is that the best you can come up with?", taunts Sonic Boom, "Fucking scrub."
Tensions are high; as the superheroes spent days investigating the case. The superheroes visited numerous informants, intermediaries, and criminal hangouts; before finally getting a lucky break in the bar called "FREAKS". 
FREAKS is patronized by costumed villains, gangsters, wanna-bes, thrill-seekers, and tourists. A stray "whoa eye knee" caught the attention of the heroes, but it turned out to be nothing more than the utterance of a white girl making googly eyes at an asian man. That comment, however, did delay the heroes long enough for a member of the Bermuda gang to approach the heroes with a potential lead. Although the gang member wanted ten thousand dollars for the information, some gentle "persuasion" by Sonic Boom convinced the gang member to offer the lead free of charge.
The Bermuda gang, not to be confused with the Bermudes or Bermudez gangs - who the Bermuda gang considers to be their "lesser cousins", is currently controlled by Sebastian "Seabass" Bermuda. Sebastian is rumored to be a super-being with the power to transform into a seabass, shark, or other marine wildlife. The Bermuda gang normally deal in smuggling, animal fights, and illegal gambling; their "shark vs. bear" fights attract bets of over hundred million dollars annually.
Mr. Perception says, "I sense seven heavily armed guards in the western-most area... they're armed with rifles of some sort - semi-auto or full-auto."
"There are fourteen people, hostages, tied up."
"Ohh... looks like there's three guards spending some *quality time* with a lady; she's trying to resist - they're in a private room to the east."
"The floors below are occupied, we're going to have to be careful."
"Directly below the hostages is someone watching TV or playing video games... Oh! Looks like he's going to the bathroom now."
"Directly below the lady getting gang-banged is someone sleeping."
"Hypno", Sonic Boom asks a man wearing a grey and white spandex costume with a black swirl covering his chest, "Can you reach them from here?"
"Not all of them", replies Hypno, "I have to get a little closer."
Sonic Boom says, "Ok. Here's the plan. Hypno, keep spamming your powers while I fly you in. You'll stun them while I drop you off and rescue the lady being raped. After I drop her off with gay-dar here..."
"*Ahem*, my name is Mr. Perception", interrupts Mr. Perception.
"Whatever", says Sonic Boom, "anyway after I drop her off with *MR PERCEPTION*, I'll come back and support you in taking out the bad guys and rescuing the other hostages."
"Sounds good?"  
After hearing affirmative responses from Hypno and Mr. Perception, Sonic Boom says, "Ok. It's go time."
The heroes, however, were unaware that they were watched by a hidden camera.

Back at the apartment.
"Damn they're sure taking their sweet time", complains guard #1.
"I don't know why", says guard #2, "She's butt ugly".
"Hey! A hole's a hole", replies guard #3.
"I rather do her", guard #2 motions toward Yinyuyu.
"She's behaving", guard #1 responds, "The boss said we're only..."
"*hem* *ahem* *hem*", guard #1 clears his throat, "Is it just me? Or did it just get really dry all of a sudden?"
"What the?!?", exclaims guard #2 as the jacket he randomly tossed on the floor suddenly leaps up and wrapped itself around his head.
"Attack!" and "Enemy attack!" screams the guards as they whip out their rifles and begin shooting the hostages.
"Noo!!!" Yinyuyu cries as she throws her body over the little girl's.

The sound of gunfire echoes throughout the night.
"They're under", says Hypno as he touches the minds of the guards.
Worried by the sounds of gunfire, the heroes hurriedly enter the apartment; there, they are greeted by the rusty smell of blood and the bloody corpses of the hostages.
The guards lie on the ground, clutching their heads while rolling around in pain.
Ignoring the guards, Sonic Boom quickly makes his way to the lady in the private room.
Entering, Sonic Boom angrily kicks a prone half-naked guard as he silently glares at the bloody body of the lady.

By the next morning, the failed rescue attempt had made its way into the News cycle. 
The evening broadcast, however, had much more information on the aftermath.
On Channel 7 Evening News, KTNA - an affiliate of PNN.
The commentator, Maria Lee, is introducing the failed rescue attempt to its audiences.
"Last night, superheroes attempted to free the hostages taken captive by last Friday's bus hijacking."
"The attempt was a complete failure, and all of the hostages were killed."
The camera cuts to the scene of Yinyuyu's bloody corpse shielding the bloodied body of an angelic-looking six year old before cutting back to Maria.
"As a result, the three superheroes involved in the rescue faced tremendous pressure from public opinion."
"Although they defended themselves by saying the hijackers were not interested in negotiations and were going to kill the hostages anyway, the time of death of the hostages indicates that they were killed when the superheroes initiated their rescue attempt."
"The public has refused to accept the excuse, and has instead called for the Superheroes Association to cancel the license and qualifications of the three superheroes."
"The Superheroes Association has apologized for the incident and has released a statement that they are launching a complete investigation."
"Analysts believe that the powers of the three superheroes have plummeted; and that the Superheroes Association will soon revoke their licenses and sever their ties with them."
"The suspects have been taken into custody by the police, and our best guess is that they will be sentenced to twenty or more years in prison..."
"On related news, one of the victims was a climate activist known to her as fans as Yinyuyu."
"Yinyuyu's fans have spontaneously came to the street where her death occurred and have offered flowers to express their grief."
"Tonight, they are holding a candlelight vigil to..."
With a "pop", the TV turned off.

10 Classic Superheroes, Ranked By Their Origin Stories

Not everyone is born a hero. In the case of superheroes, it's a singular moment that typically sets the individual on the path to becoming a force for good. That's what is known as the origin story. Whether it's an alien with unbelievable powers or a regular Earthling who's just trying to do the best with their natural talents, each comic book protagonist has an experience that leads them on their heroic path. And boy, have there been a lot of these told for both classic and modern heroes. 

The comic book medium has been going strong for more 75 years, and over those decades hundreds, if not thousands, of superheroes have been introduced. Typically these origin stories have been seen across a variety of media by both passionate comic book fans and people who are just looking for a good tale. And just because a hero is successful doesn't mean that they got off to the best start with their origin stories, but when these tales are told right, they're the stuff of legend. Here are some of the most famous superheroes of all time ranked by how great and epic their origin stories are.

1. The X-Men

Of course, each individual X-Men has their own unique stories, but together the team's origin tale is a classic. As mutants, they were all born with their abilities rather than imbued with them by science, magic or aliens. Consequently, many of these people face mistrust and bigotry from the general population who view them as freaks of nature. However, despite their persecution, they still use their powers to protect the innocent. Brought together by Charles Xavier, the X-Men not only combat threats ranging from fanatical humans to fellow mutants, but their overall mission is to fight for the rights of their fellow mutants and usher in a world of acceptance and peace. So even though their overall story is based in a superhero world, it's memorable because their goals are similar to what many of us want to achieve in real life.

2. The Flash (Barry Allen)

In the 1950s, DC Comics decided to relaunch several of their most successful superheroes from the 1940s as new individuals. The Flash was the first to receive this treatment, being reintroduced in 1956 as forensic scientist Barry Allen. While working late in his lab one night, he was struck by lightning, which subsequently knocked him into shelf full of chemicals. After waking up, he discovered he could run at superhuman speeds, and donning the red and yellow costume that's become much more recognizable than his predecessor's, Barry became the new Flash and built a quite a supporting cast. Visually it's one of the best origins on this list, but it also has a distinct sci-fi feel to it that few DC hero origins had before it. Many non-comic book fans saw this origin told for the first time back in October on the CW series The Flash.

3. Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)

Green Lantern was the second DC hero to be revitalized during the Silver Age of comic books. This time around, test pilot Hal Jordan inherited a special ring after it was bequeathed to him by a dying alien named Abin Sur who had crash-landed on Earth. Unlike the magical ring that the Golden Age Green Lantern wore, Hal Jordan's ring was a product of science that allowed him to use his willpower to fly and make solid constructs with his mind. Inheriting Abin Sur's legacy, Hal became the new Green Lantern of Sector 2814, and the first human to ever join the Green Lantern Corps. Like The Flash, it's memorable for its sci-fi feel, but also to due to how this Green Lantern inherited his heroic legacy from a mysterious visitor (which would later be repeated with Kyle Rayner) whereas his predecessor Alan Scott just sort of stumbled upon his power.

Seen On Screen: In the flawed, but right now only, Green Lantern origin movie with Ryan Reynolds, which hit theaters in 2011.

4. Iron Man

Although the location for Iron Man's origin has changed several times throughout the decades, the story itself has not. While demonstrating some of his creations abroad, Tony Stark was injured and taken captive by enemy soldiers. While in captivity, he was forced to build weapons for these terrorists, but with the help of scientist Ho Yinsen, he built a mechanical suit that allowed him to defeat his captors and escape to freedom. With a renewed perspective on life, Tony uses his new armor to protect the innocent as Iron Man. Not only is it one of best redemption origin stories and full of action as Tony escaped his imprisonment, it also showed that not everyone who becomes a superhero starts out as a moral individual. Sometimes takes a nudge (or in Tony's case nearly dying from shrapnel in your heart) to discover your true potential.

Seen On Screen: Stark's destiny was brought to life by Jon Favreau in 2008's Iron Man, with Robert Downey Jr. in the lead.

5 Captain America

Captain America's origin story wouldn't work well as an anti-drug PSA, but it's an excellent story of trumping over the odds. Steve Rogerswanted to serve in World War II, but his scrawny body and ill health prevented him from enlisting. Fortunately for him, he was chosen as the test subject for Project Rebirth, and after being injected with the Super Soldier Serum, his body became the epitome of physical perfection. Soon after the scientist who created the serum was assassinated by a Nazi spy, leaving the serum's formula lost and making Steve the only one of his kind. He subsequently became Captain America to not only to help defeat the Axis forces, but to become one of the most well-known superheroes in the present-day after being frozen for decades. As mentioned earlier, it's memorable for featuring the little guy rising up to beat the odds, but it also helps that it was an important reflection of the era he was created in and even inspired good to defeat evil in real life.

            Idro had created a very simple system, and to top it off, he had even taken the hassle to actually write down the rules on the door of the Grey Tower itself. No matter how he looked at it, he had done his due diligence as a trial-maker, so why was the only trial-taker right now so cautious?
            He didn't quite understand how people thought at times.
            "The two of us can be rather similar at times, no?" Idro muttered in the depths of his mind. He could feel End stir in response, before returning to his usual emotionless state. That little comment of his had brooked no reply, which could only mean that End saw no value in that comparison.
            Chuckling to himself, Idro returned his attention to Bloodied Spear, who had finally triggered the trial after spending two minutes to look around the area. His cautious performance had drawn the ire of his fellow popcorn-chewing spectators, but to begin with, none of them had dared to step up to the plate.
            Bloodied Spear would therefore earn some…brownie points for being the first challenger.
            The amused chatter that had filled up the ground floor of the Grey Tower took a sudden tear, and Idro smirked at that change. He had systematically reproduced the spectres, the minions of this plane's Omen of Entropy, and placed them on the second floor. Of course, none of them were capable of killing, and Idro had even kindly provided an automated announcement to reassure all trial-takers that no one would die from the enemies conjured up in the trial.
            All of the above was done in the name of resisting the end.
            The hubdub soon died down as Bloodied Spear dispatched the ten spectres systematically. His spear technique was rather exquisite; his thrusts were straight and true, reaping the life of one spectre with every movement he made. Given that he was a veteran superhero, Idro found this outcome to be within his expectations, and before long, the target of his observation moved on to the next floor. 
            The next floor had a hundred spectres, but Idro had made modifications to them. Instead of just simple shadows with immense brute strength, Idro had created spectres with different kinds of specialties. He hadn't spotted any such spectres when he swept Laia with his mind, but he wasn't looking for people who put in the lowest possible effort to pass trials.
            No. He was looking to increase the chances of this plane's survival. If he had to scare them into believing that spectres would evolve and specialise in the near future, so be it. In fact, on the highest floor, Idro had stuffed a weakened incarnation of himself — or rather, the Harbinger of the End — there, so that when the time came, there would at least be people who had faced an inferior version of him.
            It was a lot of effort, but there were innumerable lives at stake. 
            Bloodied Spear struggled with the spectres on the second floor, since Idro had thoughtfully designed them to use weapons with a certain degree of skill. When coupled together with their overwhelming numbers, Bloodied Spear was forced to use his superpower — which was actually small pieces of sharpened metal — to whittle down their numbers.
            It was quite an ingenious way, really. His spear was made up of many small metal fragments, which would chip off as he fought. Those flecks, however, turned out to be really devastating weapons; after a period of prolonged fighting against the spectres, who were wielding a sword-and-shield combo, Bloodied Spear abruptly activated his superpower, mobilising the metal fragments floating around the second floor of the tower.
            A steely storm whipped up, tearing through the spectres, and by the time it died down, only the superhero was left standing in the middle of the room. That storm had torn apart the spectres; the shields in their hands could not defend against an attack of such a nature.
            "Impressive," Idro muttered. "To think that people can be this…creative."
            His thoughts were echoed by the other watching superheroes. Chatter about the viability of such a move followed, and from the sounds of it, there were even some people who were already wondering if they could emulate Bloodied Spear's example. 
            It was a sight Idro wanted to see. If this Grey Tower could actually improve cooperation and exchanges between superheroes, it would definitely strengthen the overall fighting strength of this plane. It would be better if it also meant that when Judgement was about to conclude, he would be faced with the united front of Laia's superheroes.
            Bloodied Spear moved on to the next floor, where a thousand spectres were waiting for him. This time, those spectres had fire support; Idro held the opinion that a true army needed artillery and long-ranged helpers. The superhero stared at the impossible sight for a few seconds, before a hail of energy spikes turned his body into a holey mess.
            With a small pop, the mutilated superhero reappeared on the ground floor. His body, which had been ground to a messy pulp just seconds ago, was entirely unscathed. Bloodied Spear stared around with dull eyes for a few seconds, before touching his body in disbelief.
            "I'm…alive?"
            His incredulous utterance was the straw that broke the camel's back, and chaos ensued as the other superheroes surged towards him. Before they could reach him, however, the other superheroes found themselves obstructed by a light screen, and a stern voice began to speak from the ceiling.
            "Bloodied Spear, three floors. Calculating talent…best relic: The Daybreak Spear." A golden spear appeared in front of Bloodied Spear a moment later, and the superhero reached out to hold it in disbelief. 
            "The Daybreak Spear is a standard-issue weapon that was used by warriors of the Solar Laia Dynasty fifteen thousand years ago. It was the favoured weapon of the elite Starlight Troops," continued the stern, emotionless voice. "Although it has a restraining effect on spectres, it does not automatically grant victory."
            Bloodied Spear stared at the spear, and waved it around, sending out waves of golden light. "A standard-issue weapon can do this?"
            Unfortunately for him, the automated system in charge of the Grey Tower didn't reply. Idro did not intend for his creation to unveil the secrets of every artefact that was given out; that way, the recipients would have to master the weapon if they wanted to learn the best way of using it.
            The other superheroes began to chatter, and to Idro's gratification, they began to try out the Grey Tower for themselves. It would seem that they were convinced of the Grey Tower's purpose, and after watching them screw around with the spectres Idro himself had created, he vanished from the spot.
            "At least that's one of my plans completed," Idro muttered. With the weapons and relics of Laia's past eras all concentrated here, the next step was to…increase the overall combat sense of Laia's superheroes. Right now, from what he could see, the superheroes of Laia mainly used their superpowers to defeat spectres, but spectres could actually be defeated with good old physical strength. In fact, cases where non-superheroes had overcome spectres with guile or pure martial skill existed. 
            For that reason, he was going to forcibly introduce new spectres into Laia, the ones that he had created in the Grey Tower. Those spectres would have their own specialties; the weaker ones would manifest weapons, while the stronger ones would have their own superpowers. For safety's sake, those spectres were programmed to spare certain individuals — the Salvation Stars — if the latter was incapacitated. 
            Was there anything else he needed to do? 
            Idro rubbed his head for a moment. Even though he had knowledge of past Judgements, he still needed to parse information by himself. Over the past day, he had managed to work out some key issues, with End's help, but was that all he had to do?
            For some reason, now that he was taking a hands-off approach, things seemed a lot simpler. Was this really the way he should do things? Provide an environment where elites could be raised, while maintaining a distance from his targets of strengthening? 
            End, as usual, was silent. 
            After a few moments of silent contemplation, Idro watched the first of the superheroes appear at the first floor of the Grey Tower. Most of them had a haunted look on their face, which melted away swiftly when they were rewarded with relics. Most of them were weapons of the Solar Laia Dynasty — one of Idro's incarnations had found an entire armoury's worth in his ruin explorations — but those weapons couldn't be replicated by modern Laian technology of today.
            There was, naturally, a reason for this. 
            This wasn't the time for that, though. Idro closed his eyes for a moment. Laia's Omen of Entropy had finally moved, and he wanted to see why it moved.
            Omens of Entropy usually appeared when a plane was nearing a certain level of progress, a level that enabled a self-indulgent sustenance. Stagnancy would set in, lowering the efficiency of energy invested into that particular universe's sustenance, which in turn created strains in the position they occupied within the multiverse.
            Those strains would manifest as Omens of Entropy. The presence of these Omens would either force the inhabitants of the current universe to either make further developments in efficiency, which would yield returns in energy invested, or lower the population count to a point where energy invested would yield gains due to a plane's innate mechanisms. 
            If the sustainability index of the plane fell to below fifty percent, Judgement would set in. That particular universe, in failing to make use of the gains reaped by the appearance of the Omen, needed to be tested…and shattered, if found wanting. 
            Shaking his head, Idro focused on the Omen of Entropy, who was directly headed towards the Grey Tower.
            It would seem that a fight was inevitable.

Since the advent of existence itself, the multiverse has been stricken by an inexorable end, a destiny of annihilation. It knows not mercy, nor does it hold compassion for the masses. As a force of nature, of causality, such is expected. 

    However, in the shadowy gaps that divide universes, whispers about a divine game abound. It is said that the Harbinger of the End and its newly-bonded host are playing a game, one in which it raises heroes. Heroes that defend their plane. Heroes that overcome their world’s native threats. Heroes that could, perhaps, hope to stand against a destined ruin, and eke out a victory to save their universe.
    
    A game between Salvation and Extinction. Between a karmic force and its human host. When the game truly concludes, what might just happen?
    
    And what might be its true purpose?


Book 1: The Supers of Laia

      In the world of Laia, Supers — beings capable of manifesting miracles — have been long divided into two camps. Superheroes and supervillains. There, the human host of the Harbinger has his task cut out for him. Raise two fledging superheroes into saviours that could overcome entropy, and this time, he isn't pulling any punches.

      Setting the stage for their growth, Idro attempts to overcome his never-ending defeats...but will everything go as planned?

Look I am going, to be honest. I don't hate superheroes I just want them to not be assholes. They're practically gods, they can do whatever they want. Look at what happened when New York was a battlefield for Soni and Scythe. Soni won but who's going to pay for the 40,000 dead lives and the 120 billion dollars in damage. It feels like, with superheroes, we want villains to challenge them. If I had my way I would just take everyone's powers away, which would fix our problem. But oh no that's against people's rights.
I just went on heroinfo.online, and it says the hero know as "Captain Unye" was shown to accidentally killed a man after they got into a bar fight. The guy said something about his divorce he couldn't keep his temper and accident one punch killed the guy. And this is why heroes and normal people shouldn't mix. They're like gods, to us to them were are nothing but people who need to be saved. I don't think its Captain Unye's fault for killing the guy but he still needs to be responsible because of his power. Is he going to jail for murder, nope? Want to know why, he's got money to spent on lawyers and in the publics' eyes, he's just a good person going threw a bad time. 
Just saying superheroes being above the law isn't the best idea already since there gods almost.

Superheros are real, world is in chaos, society is tore apart.

We decided to leave America for good. The superheroes didn't leave despite our video threat. In order to raise money for our move, Maggie started up her rackets full throttle and increase her profits. This was in addition to the money she got from the restaurant via Polly.

Maggie had my Artificial Intelligence system replicate the superhero toxin and sold a weaponized versions of it to trusted customers and the organizations standing up to the superheroes. She told them she had been given it by the super villain Domino. A solution that could kill superheroes was invaluable. It sold quickly and was in high demand since Maggie had a credible underworld reputation.

A FEW MONTH'S LATER

Under Maggie's guidance, the local cartels grew. People respected her strategic prowess and ability to produce profits and results. She filled several squirt toys with superhero poison and gave it to everyone that worked for her.

Maggie asked that anyone who used the poison record what happen to the superhero and post it on a website called LiveLeak which people used to post content that they couldn't post anywhere else. Eventually, we got our hands on a recording of a superhero dying. The hero that died was Super Katgirl. The video showed Katgirl being squirted with the liquid and her death from it moments later. This confirmed that our poison worked. With every superhero's death, the super villain Domino's reputation grew. 

Domino became a figurehead and legend amongst those who felt the superheroes were nothing more than glorified government oppressors.

The authorities publicly declared war on Domino. But, they couldn't fight a man whose identity they didn't know. Furthermore, their reliance and comfort while the superheroes had basically eliminated crime had weakened the law enforcement infrastructure. Governments had cut funding and as a result, they'd lost a lot of man power. 

Maggie managed to get the bodies of the dead superheroes for research. We continued to look for the source of their superpowers. Super Katgirl was human as well. We found nothing out of the ordinary in her DNA. We did find that Katgirl and Super R were not related. Furthermore, Katgirl had a wallet on her when she had died. Her name was Audrey Enriques, age 28, born and raised in Kansas City. We looked up her parents and found that they were regular people as well. Even her history checked out. This only fueled our curiosity. Due to the cops looking for us, we didn't dare investigate in person, so we had Polly do it. Polly visited the city and talked to her friends. Audrey turned out to be a regular person, who had lived a regular life.

Finally, the day came when we had earned enough money to pack up and leave California forever. 

After much discussion, we decided to move to Cambodia. We picked Cambodia since it was corrupt enough to be out of American law enforcement's reach. Maggie bought a hotel in Siem Reap for us to live in and run when we got there. She also deposited a generous amount of money in a Cambodian bank account. We made arrangements to have the superhero's bodies and our lab moved to Cambodia. 

Time passed quickly. Before we knew it, we were in our car driving away from the shipping container we once called home. Maggie had made arrangements to have us smuggled out of the country by plane.  

As we drove away, I thought about the people that had practically ruined our lives. Daughtery and Partyka. Was running away the right thing to do? 

I turned to Maggie and said, "Should we get rid of Daughtery and perhaps Partyka, before we leave? He has caused us a lot of problems and keeps turning up."

She answered, "I'd like to, but, it probably wouldn't be a good idea. We'd be the most obvious suspects. I don't want to give them a reason to look harder for us."

I felt sick in my stomach as we drove away. I didn't think I'd ever be able to get rid of the hatred I felt for Daughtery and Partyka. They had taken away from me, almost everything. But, I understood where Maggie was coming from. Revenge would take up too much time and energy. Partyka had disappeared after putting me in jail and chances were slim that Daughtery would follow us to the other side of the world. Yet, I couldn't help but shake the feeling that Daughtery would eventually turn up again.

After living in Cambodia for three months, we received news that all the superheroes had been killed as a result of our toxin. The media didn't know how it had been done, but they attributed it to the mysterious super villain, Domino. 

The media claimed that the evil Domino had robbed the world of its best chance for salvation. But, I didn't care. This world they spoke of wasn't a world that accepted people like me, Maggie and Billy. 

The world regressed into an era of chaos as the terrorist groups the superheroes had once suppressed rose and waged war against America, home of the fallen superheroes. Being oppressed had fueled their hatred, helped them make a more convincing argument for people to join them in their violent hatred toward America.

I received a letter in the mail in Cambodia. It was Billy's last letter. Polly had mailed it to us. Me and Maggie opened the letter while we sat down drinking water on the porch of our hotel. I set my cup aside and began to read it, it was addressed to me. I read it out loud.

I heard that the girl from Cleopatra's identified us on the news and the police suspect us of a few murders.  I don't want you guys to suffer for the things I did, so I took responsibility for the people I killed. I know you'd do the same for me if you were in my shoes. You've had my back ever since I can remember. I've only had the opportunity to have yours in the last few years.

I enjoyed the days we spent together and the memories we made. I like seeing you and Maggie together, you guys look like a match made in heaven. I have a good feeling about her, and I'm sure she'll take care of you. That babe will find a way to make your life great.

I miss you bud. Anyways, I got some good news, Daughtery got his license revoked and was put in jail. I guess connections can only go so far. Man I am tired, so I am going to end this letter here, but we'll get to talk more later. Come visit when this nonsense blows over.

Don't let this shit get you down. Remember, if you don't laugh at the irony in life, you'll be miserable.

Tears began to run down my face and Maggie hugged me. I realized that Billy hadn't known he was going to die. I wiped my eyes and held Maggie close. 

"You really loved him, didn't you?," said Maggie. "and he really loved you."

"He was a good friend until the end," I muttered, "after all, without him, I wouldn't even have you."

Maggie hugged me tighter and said, "and I'm not going anywhere."

Joe was falsely imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit. When released from prison, he realizes that his record is preventing him from re-establishing his life. He realizes that the only way for him to re-establish his life is to live unethically. However, superheroes appear and proclaim that they will put all unethical people behind bars. 

How will Joe deal with this?

There was a girl named Urvashi, who was the first member of the friend's group"Angels and their Superheroes". 
She studied in a very famous school of her area. She was good at studies and was too smart.  She was very friendly to everyone but however she never got a best friend.
 
When she was in class 7, she met a girl named Neeti. She was her classmate and was new to class. She sat with her and slowly they started to understand each other. After few months, they were best friends. They shared everything with each other and slowly the time passed, and it was Annual exams. They started their revision and were working hard on their exam preparations. As we know hardwork leads to success and Urvashi topped in the whole class. They both were happy and excited to go to next class.

It was class 8 and they both went to class room. They were curious to Know about the new class teacher and mates. They both kept their bags and went to meet some of their old classmates. When Urvashi and Neeti returned to their seat, they found a new girl was sitting alone in front of them and a pair of new boys classmates were sitting behind them. They found that little strange but they started their class. 

Everything was going fine, meanwhile Urvashi asked the girl sitting in front of her " What's your name?" The girl replied"My name is Arpita.""Ooh, Will you be our friend?" asked Neeti hopefully, waving hand towards her and Urvashi. "No, I won't." replied Arpita. Neeti and Urvashi were a little sad but they knew that they don't need her, as they are best friends.

After few days , Roshni came to sit with Arpita and after few weeks, Neeti and Urvashi came to know that they were now best friends. They both were happy for the friendship of Arpita and Roshni.

Once in a play class everybody was playing but meanwhile, Arpita fell down from the swing and was highly injured. She asked help from Roshni but she denied and went to play with other students. It was Urvashi, Neeti and Tejas who helped her and they took her to school's medical chamber to get the antiseptic. Arpita was feeling very guilty that she was rude to them but she asked sorry for that and was thankful to them to help her. 
After this help, Arpita was also joined by Neeti , Urvashi and Tejas in their friend's group'Angels and their Superheroes'. 

The final members of the friend's group till class 8 were - Arpita, Tejas, Urvashi and Neeti. Till now there were only four members in the group but who knows the future....

This story is about a long, funny and cool journey that is filled with comedy too of few friends...
Everything was going fine but some thing happened that changed the life of a bestfriend's group named as__Angels And Their Superheroes.

Brenda Hills Subject 1:  Age: 22 Code name: Fireball. Status: hero
 Fireball  Is the 22nd best superhero in all of the US. Her known powers consist of shooting fire from her mouth laser from her eyes Using jet propulsion from hands and feet. Known weaknesses are extreme cold And crowded areas. 
 Many theories have said that she got her powers from mutant  Ancestors Or gifts from the Greek God Apollo. Both are wrong. 
She works for an organisation called Seedling. This organisation has a huge hand over  The hero industry.   Seedling Is founded on the Backs of major millionaires Who want protection from this crazy world.
          This organisation Is mostly secret simply because It does a few unlawful things. No proof has been found as of  How  Unlawful  Seedling is. Seedling Heads produced 3 Superheroes 1 anti hero and 1 supervillain. Brenda is the most successful of the 3 superheroes. Every other experiment has been failed Or Not profitable.

        Each specimen has been Strategically placed to never meet. The  Only way for them to ever meet is they all become S grade Heroes/Villains. With current knowledge that is unlikely. Simply because the best 10 Heroes are S rank Top 110 are A rank Top 1110 are B rank And top  11110 are C rank. All other heroes are not ranked.
        Brenda was the very 1st person I found out simply because She Didn't see me When exiting her layer. Fireball's  Lair Has access from  Her bedroom to look like a laundry shaft. That goes down 10 stories. Her lair is not very special compared to others. S basic necessities such as tvs for news GPS and Her  Super Suit. The exit is at the bottom of a Lake A quarter mile from her house. It took 3 weeks to get inside her lair.  I currently have one secret camera inside the Room that feeds into my basement. Video is edited for privacy reasons.  All current knowledge of Brenda hills finished.

"Nothing interesting like this happens in my life," said Zohaifa, a fifteen years old boy, to himself while reading a comic, "The world of the comics is so awesome where so many people have such diversity of powers. The heroes of those worlds are so cool."
"Zohaifa!" scolded his father, "Why are you reading comics? If you have to read something, read your textbook."
Zohaifa closed his comic. 
"Nah. It's time to sleep anyway. I have already done my studies."
Next day, Zohaifa woke up early in the morning, had his breakfast, got ready for school with his uniform on. He was walking while engulfed in his thoughts. Only the one ruling above the heavens knew what he was thinking. Suddenly, a voice came to him, "Hey, Zohaifa. Wait for me. Let us go to school together."
Zohaifa looked back and his eyes glimmered seeing his best friend.
"Mahir! How are you?"
"Cool and rolling."
Zohaifa stopped walking for Mahir to catch up and then, they continued with their usual chatters. Suddenly, Zohaifa saw an old blind man crossing the street. Zohaifa, suddenly withdrawing from the conversation, went on to help the blind man cross the streets. Mahir assisted Zohaifa like he always does.
"Hey, Zohaifa. Why do you go out of your way to help people whom you don't know or has less probability of benefitting you in anyway?," Mahir asked in the tiffin period sitting on their favourite bench. They always do.
"You know, how much I like superheroes, don't you?"
"And you think helping people like this makes you a hero?"
"Well, superheroes live in a different world where the laws of universe are different, where villains and sidekicks have powers. But we live in a regular world and the ones with the best resemblance with them are the ones who help people."
"Nice logic."
"May I ask you why you are so interested in technology?"
"Well, I am like you a superhero fan and I like Iron man the most. Being immersed in technology is just a rope of hope that if the world were to take a turn, I would be something like Iron man cause my behavior is similar."
"Hmm… That's actually the exact reason for me to practice martial arts. If the world were to take a turn, maybe I will be a powerful warrior."

"We are birds of a feather I guess."
Then, Zohaifa looked into the sky. "I am just too bored with how things are going. I pray that something better happens today. I can't stand it anymore."

Lost in a world with human-like beings called ‘Cant’ who can use ‘aura’ to manipulate physics and reality, Zohaifa, who was aimless for most of his life has found a new goal: To see how far he can develop his skills and abilities, how far he can explore this world, and how much justice can he establish. But as he explored more and more in this world, his philosophy got challenged, and he became doubtful of what justice really is. 
What change will be brought in Zohaifa as he continues to explore in this world? – is a question worth asking. But given who Zohaifa is, the more interesting question would be - How will Cant World change if it faces a unique personality like Zohaifa?
