This novel is about a boy who is adolescent boy who is a big fan of Mushoku Tensei. He was reading the novel when suddenly some delinquents took the book and put it in fire. The boy finally snapped and couldnt take it anymore and started lashing out on them, having the adrenaline while fighting them. In the end he gave them a beating and lie down exhausted. You could see his fist full of blood at the ground several fresh tooth. If somebody saw this they would say "monster". Suddenly he felt a sharp pain on his stomach. He saw a person full of bruises in the face and his hands holding a pocket knife in his stomach. He couldnt believed he will die this way. "I hope I'll get isekai'd like Rudeus. Id like to marry Roxy when I get there." suddenly he cried "Im asking for the impossible I might be crazy". 

Never did he know that his wish had been granted. Not only was he reincarnated he was also the twin older brother of Rudeus.

Art walked up to the man and pulled back his hood. A skeleton of a man with gaunt yellow skin was under the hood. His crooked yellow teeth were stained with blood as he still had a shocked look on his face. 

"People like you don't deserve such a clean death, you're welcome." Art said, pulling his sword out of the man's chest and cleaned the blood off. 

His blood was still boiling as his wounds were slowly healing. Art clenched his fist as his new strength coursed through his veins. A sudden wave of exhaustion rang through his body and he fell to his knees. 

His vision became blurry as he started to pass out. "Bloody hell." he murmured before passing out. 

He woke up and found the sunshine in his face. He squinted and raised his arm to cover his eyes. 

"Art! You okay?" Newt said, coming to Art's side. 

"A little sore, that's all." Art said roughly, "Can I have some water please?" 

Newt handed him a canteen which thanked him and drank. Art looked around and didn't see anybody else. 

Newt gave a sad smile and answered his unasked question, "They are hunting down the remaining Hidebehinds and raiding the man's lair." 

Art shook his head, "Mr. Scamander, have you ever killed someone?" 

Newt was taken back from Art's question but slowly nodded his head. "Yes I have." 

"What did you feel after?" 

Newt thought long and hard before answering. "I felt sick, physically ill. But it slowly went away." 

Art looked down at his hands, "I don't feel anything. Nothing at all." he paused and looked at Newt. "Am I the monster Dumbledore thinks I am?" 

"No, no not at all." Newt said quickly grabbing his shoulder. "You are anything but a monster Art. You know how I know?" 

"How?" 

Newt stuck out his hand and Azura appeared and slithered onto Art and licked his face. 

"Beasts are the best judge of characters. Humans can deceive humans but not beasts. You aren't a monster Art and you won't become one." Newt said pulling Art into a hug. 

Art didn't fight it and went into Newt's arms. 

"Killing someone doesn't make you evil. Killing innocent people and beasts is evil. Betraying your friends is evil. You are a loyal friend who helps those in need. If you don't trust yourself, trust me, trust your friends, trust Dougal, Nikki and Azura." Newt said softly. 

Art nodded and pulled away from Newt. "Who was the man I killed?" 

"A wanted wizard of MACUSA. Disappeared years ago, Heath Widker. Wanted for experimenting on children and protected magical beasts." Newt gave Art a glance, "He was someone who deserved to die." 

Art gave him a thankful smile. "Where are we?" 

"On the edge of the forest. I split from the group yesterday so they should be back soon." 

The rest of the day passed quickly as Art and Newt talked about beasts and magic. Newt told Art that Azura easily slaughtered many Hidebehinds and shocked the students and Aurors.

They had many questions for Newt who said he is letting Art take care of her. Anderson and Alfie were upset that such a dangerous beast was with them the entire time. 

"She saved us. Not you." Joel replied to them, taking a cloth and dapping Rachel's face. A large cut was still on her cheek causing her to try and hide her face. 

Justin smiled who was supporting Boomer who looked like he went 12 rounds with a professional boxer.

The sky started getting dark and soon the others came back. When they saw Art awake they ran up to him and bombarded him with questions. 

"I'm fine but thank you." he said with a smile. 

"Is that Horned Serpent really your pet?" Rachel asked, still trying to hide her face. 

"She is my friend." Art simply said, "Do you want me to heal that?" 

Rachel looked at him in shock, "Can you?" 

"I received an Outstanding in Healing on my OWLs, it shouldn't be a big deal." Art said. 

"Please." she said with a sliver of desperation. 

She sat down in front of Art and revealed her face. A cut ran from her temple to her jaw revealed itself. Someone clearly tried to heal it but was unsuccessful. 

Taking out his wand he casted a few diagnosis tests and found that there was a poison that wouldn't let it heal properly. 

"The Hidebehinds claws had some poison on them prevently it from healing but I should be able to clean out the remaining poison." 

Rachel looked like she was about to cry. Art knew that people valued their looks, especially women. 

"Don't worry, it will be like it never happened." Art comforted, giving her a reassuring smile. 

He pressed his wand gently against her cheek and muttered a spell. She let out a small cry as the wound started to close. The skin knitted back together and only left a faint white scar. 

"The scar will disappear with time but what do you think?" Art asked and created a mirror for her to look at. 

She looked at the mirror and gasped, touching her face. Tears pooled into her eyes and she hugged Art fiercely. 

"Thank you." she sobbed. 

"Azura tells me that Joel saved your life. My thing seems to pale in comparison." Art said nodding towards Joel. 

She nodded and gave Joel a hug who was stunned but quickly hugged her back. He mouthed thank you at Art who smiled and nodded. 

Justin cleared his throat and motioned to Boomer who was covered in bruises and walking with a limp. 

"Looks like someone beat the piss out of you." Art joked.

"Yeah well I can honestly say never fight a Hidebehind because you will lose." Boomer laughed before wincing in pain. 

"Speak for yourself." Art gave a cocky smile.

Art diagnosed Boomer with 4 fractured bones and multiple internal injuries. 

"I have no idea how you are still standing." Art said, very impressed with Boomer's pain tolerance. 

"My dad is a No-Maj who is a Marine. He always told me mind over matter." Boomer said, gritting his teeth through the pain. 

"My dad is in the military as well." Art smiled, thinking Boomer and him were similar. 

"Special forces, right?" Boomer asked. 

"Yes, how did you know?" 

Boomer grinned, "You shouldn't trust Shelby to keep her mouth closed." 

Art shook his head and started to heal Boomer who didn't cry out once. 

"Take it easy for a few days. The bones still need to set." Art said. 

Boomer nodded and Justin helped him up before taking him to his tent.

This is places for people with low income who works as either physical laborer or in the gray area. Well, some do work at a decent job but with how they were from this place they wouldn't get a decent pay at all. 

The government who deliberately put us in this lives their life in comfort. Even though the persons inside change twice in a decade they still didn't try to make this place better. I guess this is because we didn't pay the tax as big as other from the other district. They who on the top only view things from the higher point they don't consider us who far below them. If they want us to pay a higher tax then make this place better as well the people, but no they filled their pocket instead.

I staggered and answer her right away.

Waking up at 4 I clean myself and fried some eggs for breakfast. 

Ready I turn on the headgear and start where I left off before. Looking around I saw a messy scene like when I log out the previous day and a creepy doll with pairs of glowing green eyes. The lighting doesn't help either, within this underground place with dim light and the battle doll head that move its head around following me where I go. 

I opened my friend list and found Rudy still active and contact him.

"Hey, I need some advice here. Yesterday I got 23 gold coin from quest so I want to exchange it with some cash but I'm a bit at loss of how much should I sell. A third, half or…?"

"Really that's great. From my experience you can probably sell half to be safe but if you got a B rank quest or higher you probably need in-game money more than cash to finish the quest. I think fifth or quarter should be safe if you want to change it into some cash. I'm sleepy so I'll catch some sleep. See ya brother." 

From the talk, I think 5 to 8 gold should be fine and the trial doesn't have a time limit when I need to take it so it's probably fine.

Removing my astray thought I look at the doll I equip my only available weapon, the stiletto. 

I'll try to do what the old dwarf suggested… it was hard. At my twenty-one attempt, I sprained my right ankle and got 'Impaired' status. With my right ankle can't be used to its full potential plus the damage I retained while using it prevent me to put any further damage. Debuff can be classified into five level: mild, moderate, severe, extreme, and fatal. Mild debuff usually is gone in an hour or two while moderate will recover in four hours and so on.

Previously I only had a mild debuff which was will heal in 40 minutes because I overtaxed it change into or maybe I can say it leveled up into a second level, moderate which will heal in 4 hours.

Changing the foot I did what I practice before but with the experience I've I didn't get more impaired status even until my right foot healed completely. Experience is really a good teacher to learn from.

Gaining confidence from my solo practice I'm ready to try it in battle and here in this dim basement stand a doll that I can practice with.

83rd times, was the short confrontation I had count with the doll and I only land five times of clean hit and thirty rash hit with no damage. The doll didn't have any clear pattern on how to defend from my attack. It only defends in an efficient and abstract way that makes me can't read on how to attack it to breach its defenses. After my many-many attempt, I finally learn how insta-adapt based on my enemy's movement. It's not perfect yet but I know it is a correct path for me to walk on.

Landing a few times of clean hit to the doll consecutively it finally ceases to function and fall to the ground lifelessly. I don't remember how many times I've had fought the doll but I need to recharge my stamina more than eight times and ate all the bread in my inventory to satisfy the hunger and boost my stamina recharge.

The old man with his messy beard laughs his arse off walking towards me with tears in his eyes.

"Come on… it's just, I successfully create a battle art and there is too little information on me. I hope you can explain it to me, Mr. Verm."

"Don't call me with a mister, it makes my beard itchy. Sigh~ you really don't know anything, do you? Even those Drifter out there know more about the world than your sorry self. I told you since forever that knowledge is a must in this world and your awareness is still the same ignorant kid."

What do you mean by 'I always told you that since forever' it's like I'm some sort of naughty kid in the neighborhood that always gets scolded for the same things for years and I only know you yesterday! Grumbling in my head.

Putting a straight-face I answer him with interest voice.

"I am a drifter as well and I don't think the knowledge pop-out light a light bulb in a dark room. What are the differences between Art and Talent? Please explain it to me."

"What? Previously you only ask for Art now you add Talent as well. Okay then, I'll explain it to you. Art is, art can be classified into three different categories of attack, defend, and support. Art is a kind of skill that you create yourself without any outside interference. While talent is a gift you either born with or get it from external influence. Some said talent can be upgraded but from what I know talent can only evolve if their condition met.

By the way, did you know why we're still haven't been wipe out by them fiends yet? It's because we, men have cognition; we learn, we adapt, and we collect. That's why I always said knowledge is power. With enough knowledge, you can level an empire."

"Everyone has their own story as everyone is the Main Character of their tale. Brink is the way for you to reach what you dream of; a supervillain, a superhero, a king, a conqueror. you can be what you want in Brink." It is interconnected. It is not as simple as entertainment purposes. There is a dark secret inside and one who found the secret will hold the power one can't ever imagine.

This is a story of a man and his friend to strive for their livelihood thru the newest VR game that surpasses its predecessor in any kind of way. This is not only a story of their struggle in life but also a tale of how will they reach their dream.

A few notes here; first, English is not my first language and I self-teach my self to learn it. second, I want to be a better writer so any critique would be welcome. "Aster, I'll head to the poolside. Can you guide me with the Origin Body Art?" Aria requested after the dishes were cleaned. Aster agreed because he wanted firsthand experience from building his woman ensemble of power.

The others were curious about what they were talking about and decided to spectate. They pretty much had nothing much to do because a lot of things have been easier for them since the move.

Normally, they would be doing laundry but washing machines came with the house package. With simple steps they already have clean attire to wear. The machine had magic inscriptions, so there is an instant dry and clean option.

Aria and Aster stood at an open space not far from the pool. The ground they were standing on is not cemented but is covered with bermudagrass.

"Alright, just follow my movements." Aster did his punching routines and tested the limits of his limbs and body. The body art consisted of a myriad of movements but the system simplified its quantity to the most constructive way to achieve maximum benefits.

Aster's Origin Body Art that is catered to Novice 3 is not much different than Aria's Novice 1 counterpart. The power and mana flow is the only difference. He took this chance to familiarize the skill while imparting it. Buying the mastery from the system was akin to an enlightening effect and one could easily become proficient with it.

It took some trials and errors until Aria had gotten used to the movements until she was already mirroring his movements. Their session was similar to how dojo practitioners simultaneously perform their practice. 

Normally, it would take a long process of repetitions of rest and relaxation for an exercise to perform a change in the body. The system's mastery insight bypassed that natural process and Aria had already optimized her body to her present cultivation within an hour of performing the given procedures.

She was wearing skinny jeans and a thin shirt while practicing with him, so he could not see much but he was pretty sure that her muscles by now have fully defined her curves. Aster can't wait to take her again in the night with the improved version of her physique.

The spectators could not help but wonder at the change of their sister. Eve and Plum realized that their sister had stepped into mana cultivation. Although they cannot sense the change because they also experienced the same mana deficiency that Aria has before, but even a monkey could tell that she is a Novice practitioner from her display of the Origin Body Art.

As previously explained, the Novice rank is the first realm in mana gathering. One just needs to accumulate enough mana in their inner cores and that will be enough to advance them to Initiate. The Novice realm is not that different than normal people because they only differ in the amount of mana they hold within. Initiate levels is the realm where the cultivator generally can utilize arts and techniques of their choosing and the true display of power is achieved.

"Big sis, you were amazing!" Jade praised. Despite the cultivation art being an amalgamation of crude techniques, the system had figured out the movements that made it aesthetically pleasing. The little girl did not leave him out and said. "You too, Aster."

"Big sis, can I do that too? Please teach me!" Jade cutely asked with her pleading face and heart-softening eyes.

He could teach them the Origin Body Art but the eased mastery from the system's skillshare effect is not available to them because they were not part of his harem. It would be fine if it was any other mana cultivation art because it just needs talent but the siblings have almost non-existent talent in the areas of mana. Body cultivation is fine but it would take years if they were not suited for it. The four of them would have passed normal lives and not have the chance in any sort of cultivation at all if they do not gain his help.

Aria also understood their situation and turned down her little sister's request. Her learning of the skill was partially due to Aster and through doing sensual activities with him. She respects his choices and it would be up to his discretion on what would become of the art. "Sorry, Jade. That is not my call to make. Maybe when you grow older and I'll teach you."

Her cultivation was not due to her own efforts but with the help of Aster. She had the feeling that her sisters could only become mana cultivators if Aster would bed them. It would be acceptable for her if Eve and Plum would also undergo the process but it was still too early for her younger siblings.

"Okay." Jade was sad but was used to her request being turned down and did not cause trouble. She would normally be obedient and follow her older sister's words because she somehow understood of their sacrifices for her. Her smarts were still in development but her empathy towards other people was high. One could consider her as a genius in terms of emotional intelligence.

They turned quiet to try and divert the conversation but their silence was broken when Jade posed another question. "I still can't learn it now but will I be able to learn it when Aster would make me moan like 'Aahh' and 'Aaah'?"

Their silence was prolonged due to the shock. To think that a six-year old girl would have heard about their activities in bed.

Eve and Plum knew of Aria's doing in Aster's room because they were there when both of them planned for it. They read an erotic book to be informed of the activities like moaning and stuff but they were shocked by the fact that their little sister knew about it.

Aria's face was red due to anger and shame, she could not help but ask. "How do you know that, Jade?"

Jade did not know what she did wrong while Monet was fidgeting and panicking. Aria noticed Monet's nervousness and turned to ask her. "What did you do, Monet?"

"Sis, it's like this. We were jealous of you and Aster because you get to sleep in the biggest room in the house. In the morning, Jade wanted to play a prank on you two." Monet was guilty and could only speak the distorted truth to resolve her predicament. "I decided to help her and so we approached your room and planned to spill marbles on the floor outside of your door to make you slip."

Aria knew where the story was headed and was crying from shame. Aster pulled her to his embrace to calm her down. Monet continued with her story and said. "Outside the door, that was when we heard sister cry out in pain and afterward you were moaning loudly. At that point, we knew we failed our prank because you might have heard our footsteps."

A nameless and disowned youth is sent out to fend for himself. Not known to his family is the secret that hid within him.

By his 18th birthday, the Lust Exchange System awakens from its long slumber. It assists him in his conquest to the peak and his life surrounded by beauties.

Tang An woke early the next day, it was a Saturday and she had chores to do. Although her family was rich and had lots of maids, Tang An's mother always made her do house chores, claiming that she could not raise a indolent pig. So ever since they had moved back to China, Tang An was made to do the house chores on weekends. 


Moreover, the weekends were off for the maids, so all the house chore fell on Tang An. It was a tasky job, seeing as they lived in a gigantic mansion, not as large as the Lu's, but equally grand. 


The mansion was situated at an estate known popularly for the rich. Only wealthy billionaire's lived here, and it was basically owned by Tang Enterprises. 


Iron gates of massive heights were the only entrance into the compound. On passing through it, one was met with an array of trees of the peach species having pink leaves which fell to the ground in the most magnificent way during autumn, the fruits it bore were said to be the sweetest in all of A city, and what many people paid to have just one of it was unspoken of. 


The trees were arranged in such a way that a path was made in between it. This path led up to a water fountain located in the heart of a garden of lotus flowers.


Terracotta sculptures danced about the compound here and there. Towards the right side of the compound a lake stood, the sight of which was as glorious as the psalms sang by the moon at night. 


A brass door formed the door to the house and on this enormous door a golden lotus flower was embedded, serving the function of the family's crest. 


On entering the mansion, a small room could be seen which led to a giant hall. In the middle of the hall, a chandelier made of pure emerald hung.


 Velvet curtains draped over the windows and a red carpet ran from the hall to the stairs. Exotic paintings hung on the walls of the hall, along with other ornaments gotten as souvenir from their stay in Nigeria.


The great stairs led to the first floor, then to the second floor, to the third, fourth, fifth floors, and finally to the last floor. 


Several rooms and halls where situated on each floor. On the third floor was the grand library where Tang An spent most of her time reading one of its many books. 


The fourth floor basically belonged to Tang An, as her room covered most of its mass. Her music room where she practiced, and recorded songs, in here were also her musical instruments like the grand piano, violin, saxophone and guitar. And her art gallery where she kept her art works and photography works were also located on this floor. 


Down the hall of this floor was a spare room, Tang An always wondered why there was an extra room on her floor. Although she never really asked but shrugged it off on several occasions.


The fifth floor was Tang Jiang's penthouse with all his belongings. And the last floor belonged to her parents.


Although the mansion was always kept clean by the maids during the weekday. It didn't change the fact that it was pure human cruelty on her mother's part; making Tang An do all this work by herself. Imagine having to clean such a large mansion on your own.


The main reason that Tang An carried out her functions so diligently was the fact that her mother threatened to deprive her of food till she was done with all the work.


 This was why Tang An woke up so early, instead of sleeping in on a Saturday. It was at times like this that she wished they were just an average family living in an average home.


She wore a giant T-shirt that had once belonged to her dad and some short-shorts which revealed her long flawless leg. The pink colored flip flops that her father bought for her from Ireland braced her legs. She packed her hair back, away from her eyes and walked into the maintenance room to get all the equipment she needed for her functions.


She started from her floor and worked her way through. Each floor took about 3 hours each to complete. Tang Jiang's floor was the worst. She spent her whole morning cleaning and dusting, mopping and sweeping, scrubbing and wiping.

Lu Xiang woke up really late and lay in bed for an extra hour, before doing his laps around the lakeside. He had his breakfast of cold milk and cereal, before he settled down to work on his painting piece. Lu Xiang was an artist, he had learnt the art skills from an art teacher in school, which whom he was very fond of. 


When he was looking for an area to build his house, the main thing he looked out for was a scene fit for a painting. He had accomplished this task, as the lakeside provided the best view, at summer, at winter, autumn, and spring.


He had started the painting a month ago, and wasn't rushing it, everything had to be perfect and detailed, so he wasn't in a hurry. 


He sat in front of his work, paint brush in right hand, palate in left. He was in a white shirt which served as an overall, the button of which only went half way up; revealing a broad mass of chest. His hair was thustled by the wind, so he had this great aura around him, making him look even more handsome than he truly was. Too bad no one was here to witness or enjoy this.


He starred at the canvas for a while, try to decide on which shade of blue to use. He looked at his color palate, then at the lakeside. Then his eyes caught something, it lasted for a second, but he still saw it well enough to know what to do.


A smile crossed across his face as he mixed some more colors. He was glad that he caught it because it was a rare thing to see.


After getting the perfect shade, he applied it with light strokes. This created an effect which made the water body glisten in an extraordinary manner. This was a difficult technique to do; only those who had a vast knowledge on painting could perfect it.


He was pleased at his work and took a step back to admire it. He remembered when he was learning how to paint; he would always beat himself up when there was even the slightest error in it. 


"Everything had to be perfect," he had said repeatedly.

"Stop that! Stop that at once boy!" Mr. Peter said trying to suppress a raging Lu Xiang.


He carried him off, yanking him forcefully of the wall, which he kept on punching. 


"What are you doing?" asked Mr. Peter, hands on his waist.


Lu Xiang just stood there breathing sporadically.


"How many times most I tell you, practice makes perfect, no matter how many times you punch the wall, how hard you punch it or how many bruises you get, you will never succeed.


Painting is an art which requires precision and patience," he said emphasizing the patience.


"You can't just go around punching things just because of some slight mistakes.


How would you feel if I beat you up whenever you made an error? Things just don't work that way, remember that we are all but human; no one is above mistakes. We just have to learn from them and improve on it. Only a fool makes the same mistake twice, remember that. Patience my child, patience."


Lu Xiangs' breathing had stabilized by now. Mr. Peter smiled at him and ruffled his head.


"This anger takes you nowhere, painting is supposed to help you calm the nerves and tame the wild, not aggravate it. So don't let it, Ok? 


Now clean up this mess before I spank your booty."


This made Lu Xiang smile a bit, and he cleaned up the damage he had done.

Present day Lu Xiang smiled as he recalled this event.  Mr. Peter always knew how to handle him, especially when he was younger and very stubborn.


Mr. Peter was his art teacher in school. He was the person that Lu Xiang spent about 6-8 years with. He had learnt all he knew from him, and he had become his friend, actually more than that, he had become his father figure.

Lu Xiang had his bath and threw some cloths into a box. He grabbed a couple of underwear and some other accessories and threw it into the bag.


He drove straight to A city, towards the estate" known for the rich." The massive iron gates parted to make way for him. He drove up the narrow path in between the peach trees, past the fountain to where the attendants accept the car keys to park the car. 


Lu Xiang came out of the car in the most alluring manner. He was dressed in a corporate long sleeved shirt with two buttons undone; fitting his built masculine form perfectly. With a pair of pleated trousers which seemed like they were tailored just for him, outlining his important features. 


He emitted a very strong sexy aura, that seemed mysterious and dangerous. Covering his feet were a pair of shiny brown brogue shoes.


On entering the house, Lu Xiang was surprised at what he heard.

Tang An is a high school student about to graduate. But everything changes when her brother's friend moves in. Battling with trauma from home, she tries to overcome her family challenges but when an unknown secret is exposed, can Tang An survive its consequences or will she die at fates hands?

October 24th, and the Writer was lost in the mall.
To be exact, she was lost within a shop filled with art materials with an intense smell of paint and oil, looking at the countless displays and items that she can't even pronounce.  There were towering easels that she can imagine be bigger than her roommate, various sizes of paintbrushes and prices that made her brows raise a bit, and the colorful paintings/art filled the shop.
The place was making the Writer dizzy.
"Ah, the joys or colorful harmony!" Marlon, who was suddenly dragged by the Writer to the mall after his workplace was invaded, savored the scent of paint around him.
"Why are there so many bright colors?" the Writer questioned, avoiding the neon colored items in the glass cabinets.
The Spanish-born artist pouted realizing why he was in the art shop in the first place. "I know I should be happy and all, mamacita, but I can't help but feel jealous," he complained while looking at the drawing pencils, examining the quality.
The Writer groaned and avoided any places that has a stronger paint smell. She thought that if given a chance, she could've dragged some other artist to go shopping with her, but with her 'selective' list of friends, she was stuck with the Spanish annoyance. That and she only knows where he worked because of the costume incident. "Just look around." She picked up one of the paint tubes from the corner of the display counter and furrowed her brows. The label showed 'Bath Salts' hue. "Do you all have a colorname for everything?"
"Oh yes, we have these so called 'bastard-amber', 'Sang-de-boeuf', and my oh-so favorite, 'Puke'. It's not literally puke, it's some kind of socks color from way back." The Spanish artist looked at the paint tube that the Writer was holding and shook his head. "Not that, mamacita. She already has that."
It was the tenth item that Marlon rejected what she thought she could buy. Oh how the Writer wanted to set fire in the whole shop and be done with it.
"You know, for a group of people with a dedicated shop, buying things for your lot is harder than finding a needle in a haystack," grumbled the Writer, discarding another rejected paint tube.
Marlon shook his head. "Ah, but mamacita, it is just my friend who is hard to buy something." He grinned and spread his arms wide as if planning to hug the aloof Writer. "If you ask me, I would accept any gift if it came from you."
The Writer wanted to burn the shop down and throw Marlon in it as well.
Ignoring the flirting Spanish guy, the Writer roamed around the shop until she stopped before the rows of big boxes. She looked at the said boxes with interest, seeing how it was related to technology which she is somehow aware of.
"Oh those are expensive as hell," said Marlon, pointing at the prices of each box. "Especially that one box with a jackstone-ish design." He pointed at the boxes with the price that would make anyone think twice of buying. "My friend did said her tablet needs replacing since Sabine sat on her old one and kinda broke it… the response of it is a bit off." 
The Writer hummed, curious about the white box with the image of three people in a circle. 
Marlon saw how the Writer was staring at the box the Writer was looking and his eyes widen. "No way… they're expensive, mamacita. Like, seriously, near 100 thousands of Pesos!"
The Writer shrugged. She pointed at one of the boxes and looked at Marlon with her famous pokerface expression. "Bring that to the counter."
"Did you just hear me saying it was ex—"
The Writer raised her brow, challenging Marlon to continue what he was going to say.
The silent challenge and the previous encounter with the Writer brought shivers to Marlon's spine. "Oh, that fire! Mamacita, you bring such vigor to this man's heart." He took the said box and brought it to the counter.
The next day,the Writer told the she was called by her Editor. But before she left…
"Clean the apartment. You and your rowdy friends made a lot of mess last night," the Writer said to the newly awaken Artist. "And if you find any box at the living area, you can have it," she said in her usual deadpanned tone, leaving the Artist to clean the whole flat.
Without even a single complaint and acknowledging that she and her friends were indeed rowdy the night before, the Artist complied. She cleaned the flat until she was in the living area, ready to clear out whatever garbage she and her friends left there. When she was about to clean the table, she saw a box wrapped in brown paper with a sticky note attached to it and picked up the note.
"You deserve this," the Artist read out loud. 
Removing the sticky note, the Artist unwrapped the box and was rendered speechless at what she was looking at. A white box which she can assume was more than 16" with 'Wacom Cintiq Pro'. She almost dropped the said box after reading the label on it.
It took the Artist a few minutes to gather her bearings and run her right hand over the glossy box. "Well I be damned…" she whispered, admiring the look of the shiny box. "What the actual fuck… how much does that woman earn…"
Another sticky note was plastered on the side of the box and the Artist took it and read it out loud. 
"Happy International Artist Day."
