In the Far West, near the Dragon Coast, the first of the Fate's Own appeared.  D'Gedda Bohpurra opened his eyes for the first time in many years.  He was seated cross-legged in front of a mirror, which reflected the figure of an unfamiliar boy.  The youth was dressed in elegant robes of white silk.  He wore a two-colored sash of bright blue and dull brown about his waist.  The two colors divided the sash into halves and easily drew the eye.
The youth himself was less eye-catching.  He had plain brown hair that fell down his shoulders, brown eyes, and a slightly ugly face.  In terms of appearance he was rather unremarkable.  Despite his lackluster appearance, D'Gedda smiled.  
'She was right!  Despite being sent to the Extermination Hell which is supposed to permanently destroy all things, I was actually able to reincarnate!  Speaking of which . . .'
With a thought, a series of words in the first written language D'Gedda had ever learned appeared.
[You, D'Gedda Bohpurra, have been selected as the first of the Fate's Own.  Cultivate Qi and gather strength, for when the hundredth appears, the Fate's Own must become one.  To aid you, Fate has given you one gift: The System of Fate.  Use it well. ]
D'Gedda scratched his chin in thoughtful silence as he contemplated the message.  'Just what is this Fate?  Is it connected to the Heaven of Destiny?  Clearly I'll need to learn more about the current age.  More importantly, let's see what this System of Fate can do.'
With a thought another series of words materialized in D'Gedda's vision.

D'Gedda pondered the status screen.  'Meridian Opening huh?  I guess I'm stuck with this Seven Powers Qi unless I swap bodies.  Still, I've never heard of this type of Qi, it might be worth keeping.  I can get by with Mortal Breath if I have to, especially if this is some kind of rare and powerful Qi.  It shares the name of the sect so it's probably at least decent.  What I'm really curious about are these Armaments.  They're listed between Legacies and Souls, so I'm guessing they're a major part of cultivation in this age.  Some kind of unique treasure maybe?  Anyway, I'm sure I can use this body to learn about the world later.  For now let's check out my Qi and abode.'
D'Gedda entered into a meditative trance and sunk his focus inwards, towards his Dantian, after several failed attempts.  Within his Dantian he found a cloud of gaseous Qi, which rhythmically shifted between various colors.  After watching the Qi shift for a time D'Gedda found that the colors were red, white, brown, purple, blue, gray, and green.
From his Dantian, D'Gedda turned his focus to his Meridians.  He could see that aside from the basic meridians that had to be open for the Qi Acceptance realm, his body had only opened thirteen meridians so far.  His new body was clearly in the very early stages of Meridian Opening.
'Well, although my cultivation realm is rather low, it's better than having a higher realm without enough meridians.  Besides, if this body won't do I can just possess a new one after I form a soul.  Now then, let's check this place out.'
Looking around the room he was in for the first time, D'Gedda found himself in a plain, stone room.  Although a bit small, it seemed fixed together well enough.  A small bed and one wooden dresser were positioned in the small space, with a closed door positioned directly in front of what little empty space was available.  D'Gedda was sitting cross-legged atop the bed, facing a mirror positioned atop the dresser.  Looking at the mirror closely, D'Gedda began to suspect it was unordinary.
The mirror's frame was silver, with unfamiliar runic characters carved into it.  As for the glass itself, it was of a quality D'Gedda had never seen in his past life.  Out of curiosity, D'Gedda extended a thread of Qi to the mirror.  The moment his Qi connected to the mirror, it was sucked in.  A moment later, countless blue lines and thirteen red lines appeared on D'Gedda's body within the mirror's reflection.
D'Gedda exclaimed in surprise before smiling.  Clearly this treasure could reveal one's meridians!  How he wished he'd had such a thing when he was opening his meridians in the past.  Truly, this mirror was going to aid him greatly!
Still, he couldn't keep his smile from turning into a frown.  For some reason this body totally lacked any divine sense, which was already making things difficult for him.  He could tell that it wasn't a result of some form of injury; rather this body just seemed to utterly lack divine sense.  This was one mystery D'Gedda found himself worried by.  He'd never even heard of a Qi Cultivator simply not having divine sense.  Damaged divine sense, restricted divine sense, he'd seen that before; this was something else.
With a shrug and a sigh D'Gedda added it to the list of things to investigate and leaned towards the dresser.  Opening the top drawer, he found two pairs of folded robes, a pair of sandals, and an extra sash.  D'Gedda closed the top drawer and opened the next one.
Here he struck gold.  Within the lower drawer lay a handful of books in an unfamiliar script and, more importantly, a rectangular stone tablet.  D'Gedda extended a thread of Qi and touched the tablet.  Then, a stream of information came flooding into his mind.  Rather than focus on the new knowledge, D'Gedda waited for the stream to finish.  Once it finally stopped he withdrew his Qi thread.
After returning to his meditative posture, D'Gedda began to pick through his new information.  The first thing he found was the first volume of the Seven Powers Cultivation Art.  Scanning it, he quickly grew impressed.  
'The Seven Powers are as follows: heat, cold, earth, lightning, water, thunder, and wind.  Using this Art with the Seven Powers Qi, it becomes possible to master each power.  More importantly, this Art surpasses any other I've ever seen in terms of its techniques for opening extra Meridians.  With this Art, I should be able to surpass my old self by a large margin!'
With a pleased look, D'Gedda shifted his attention to the other pieces of knowledge he'd absorbed.  He found the rest to be various Spells using the powers of cold and earth.  Reflecting on that, D'Gedda glanced again at the sash he wore.  Perhaps brown represented earth and white cold?  If that was the case, red ought to be heat, green should be wind, and thunder . . . gray?  He wasn't entirely certain whether water was blue or purple but he assumed one color was for lightning, the other water.
D'Gedda found himself nodding in satisfaction.  'I can work with this.  Yes, this time I'll grow to be far stronger than I was in my previous life.  Thank you, junior apprentice sister, your Foretelling was true!'
With a surge of excitement, D'Gedda stood up and opened the door, then left the room he'd awoken in.  He stepped out into a long hallway, one filled with several identical doorways, some closed and others open.  The hallway's far wall was spotted with windows through which sunlight streamed, illuminating the many people within the hall.  They were all dressed in the same uniform robes, though the sashes they wore differentiated the many youths D'Gedda saw.  Most wore sashes of a single color, a minority wore sashes like his with two colors, and only a couple people wore three-colored sashes.  
A tall, thin boy with short black hair and green eyes noticed D'Gedda and walked over.  His sash also had two colors, red and green.  As the boy approached D'Gedda noticed the twinkle in the young man's eyes and the way he seemed to be struggling not to smile.  Was this a friend of the original body's?
Once he was side by side with D'Gedda, the boy whispered eagerly "So, did you use it?  The mirror worked just like I said it would didn't it?  I told you it was some kind of amazing treasure!  What happened when you gazed at it?  Did you go to the fabled Hall of Enlightenment or did you change your wish?  C'mon, I'm begging here, don't hold out on me now!"
While D'Gedda's mind raced, contemplating what to say, he noticed the many conversations that had been taking place in the hall had faded away abruptly.  Looking around, D'Gedda soon found why.  Three middle-aged men in gray robes were walking down the hall, looking directly at D'Gedda and the youth beside him.  Internally, D'Gedda was already certain this 'friend' of his had already landed him in some form of trouble.
Two of the gray-robed men split off and headed towards different doors, one of which led to the room D'Gedda had come from.  The third man, a muscular figure with a scruffy beard and looming presence, said gruffly "Novice Kosh Ti, Novice Falcoun Remen, you two have some explaining to do.  I can't wait to hear how you try to explain yourselves this time."
D'Gedda watched the man who had entered his room return holding the mirror with a sinking feeling.  The only question on his mind now was exactly how much trouble he was in.  To his right, the tall youth was tugging on his right ear lobe while staring at his toes in embarrassment.  D'Gedda forcefully repressed the urge to sigh, as he was already in enough trouble.
"Follow me" the nameless man who had spoken before commanded, turning and striding away with his hands clasped behind his back.  D'Gedda and the other youth obeyed wordlessly.  'Well, at least my new life won't lack excitement' D'Gedda thought.

As it has before and will again, Fate Shifts in the world of Qi.  In the Heavens, Hells, and Mortal World, the Harbingers of Fate proclaim the coming of the Fate's Own and a warning to all.  The Fate's Own must become one.

This is a tale of reincarnated cultivators, transmigrants, intelligent beasts, angels, and demons.  This is a tale of gnashing teeth, tears shed, promises broken, blood spilt, ambitions conceived, painful betrayals, love found, laughter on the wind, and so much more.  This is the tale of a mythic age, with a beginning and ending.  

Warning: In Fate Shift I'm going to avoid explicit sex scenes, overly descriptive gore, and things of that nature.  I'll try to keep things tasteful enough that teenagers can read this story.  That said there will be depictions of cruelty, some foul language, and other things of that nature in the story.  So on the almost unbelievable chance a parent is reading this to see if it's okay for their kid(s), I suggest taking that into consideration.

Release Schedule: Seven to fourteen chapters a week, I'll try to keep it to one to two per day but mistakes can always happen.  Every month starting with July 2018 I'll try to release 120k words.  That means I'll try to release 4k words a day.  If the schedule changes even more I'll once again update this synopsis.

Goal: I plan for this to be a very long story, most likely 2m+ words.  I would also like to write full-time.

I love colors. I'll say it over and over again: I love colors! They're beautiful. They're stimulating. Sometimes I even think they're magical. I love everything about them, from the power they have to evoke emotions to the subtle yet distinct differences they make in a work of art. But my favorite thing about colors is their symbolism, the way they can be used to hide secrets and hint at details of a bigger picture without drawing focus away from the story at hand.

It's simple enough to use colors in visual art, but what about in writing? Challenging as it may seem, I believe it is possible to create symbolism with words, such as when describing color schemes of character outfits and settings. Color symbolism has fascinated me for as long as I can remember, and while it would take an entire book (or series of books) to get into it all, I'd like to at least scratch the surface today with some of the basics I've picked up throughout my experience researching and implementing meaningful colors in my stories. You may want to consider these tips the next time you set a scene; they can help add a vivid new layer to your story! Enjoy!
Red – Red is a bold and passionate color, often symbolizing such strong ideas and images as courage, fire, power, and violence. It's a color that demands attention, which is why it's commonly used to signify danger. Use red for passionate or aggressive characters, or for any sort of intense scene, whether it's the heat of love or the violence of war.

￼Orange – Not quite passionate and not quite joyful, orange is a middle ground between red and yellow. It symbolizes energy and creativity, and is used in psychology to stimulate enthusiasm and determination. Use orange for adventurous or creative characters, or when you want to paint some vibrant warmth into a scene.

￼Yellow – Yellow is the two-sided coin of colors. On the one hand, it symbolizes happiness, optimism, sunshine, and friendship. On the other hand, it can also stand for cowardice, illness, hazard, and deceit. Golden shades represent wealth and luxury. Use yellow when you want to add hints of joy or caution to a scene. For the best effect, I recommend using yellow ambiguously, such as for characters who seem jubilant and optimistic on the outside but who are fearful or deceitful on the inside.

￼Green – Think of green and you're sure to picture beautiful scenes of nature, complete with lush vegetation as far as the eye can see. Indeed, green is the color of the environment, and it represents such ideas as youth, fertility, health, and rebirth. Abstractly, it also symbolizes jealousy and good luck. Use green for characters associated with natural themes such as environmentalism or the practice of healing, or to hint at fortune or envy in relationships.

￼Blue – Blue is my favorite color because it represents all my favorite things. It's a color that symbolizes intelligence, tranquility, trust, and loyalty. In nature, it's associated with the sky and the sea, and different shades from turquoise to navy can be used to signify sophistication, knowledge, and integrity. Use blue for characters who are more intellectual than emotional, and for settings fitting an atmosphere of calm and authority.

￼Purple – Purple is the color of royalty, and has long represented such themes as nobility, wisdom, honor, and extravagance. Being a relatively rare color in nature, it is often associated with mystery and magic. Lighter shades such as lavender also convey grace and elegance. Use purple as a motif for regal or arrogant characters, mysterious settings, and storylines brimming with fantasy.

￼Pink – A soft complement to the bold red, pink is the color that most famously signifies love and romance. Strongly associated with femininity, it represents tenderness, caring, and acceptance. I myself tend to associate the color pink with flowers. Use pink to add a soothing or feminine quality to a scene, or to signify elements of a romantic subplot.

￼Brown – Brown is well known as an earth tone, and as such tends to represent stability. Common ideas associated with the color brown include simplicity, comfort, and endurance. Use brown when you want to convey a sense of plainness or tenacity in a scene without having to resort to the blatant dullness of gray.

￼Gray – The dull middle ground between white and black, gray is most commonly associated with boredom and depression. On the positive side, it also stands for security, modesty, practicality, and reliability. Use gray for conservative characters or when you want to create a colorless air for a particular setting.

￼White – White is the international color of peace, and is often regarded as a symbol of light, purity, and faith. Some even go as far as to associate it with perfection. Note that white takes on a different meaning in Eastern cultures, where it's associated with death and mourning. Use white when you want to convey innocence in your characters and cleanliness in your settings, or when you want to create strong religious symbolism in your scenes.

￼Black – The exact opposite of white, black represents everything that its counterpart doesn't. Darkness, evil, and death are themes commonly associated with black, but it can also stand for austerity, formality, style, and sexuality. Arguably the most powerful color of all, black has a long history of symbolizing strongly opposed ideas on the spectrum of good and evil. Use black to convey depth in your characters or to add dark themes to a scene. For best results, combine it with other colors to create interesting contrasts of ideas in your stories.

"Eat more humans and I'll you more about it but one thing i can say though...they shouldn't have went against the world..." said Gula, before her voice faded. 

This left Magnus with more questions than answers but since he can't get anything else from Gula, he decided to leave it be. He examined the ring he took and pricked himself as he allowed a drop of blood to fall onto it. 

Magnus saw three scrolls with the contents, "Decapitating Sword", "Seven Elements Cultivation arts: Minor Series" and the "Seven Elements Physique arts: Minor Series". He also found a couple of knives, a flint and a bag full of gold. 

He was about to devour all these when the woman with the Scarlet hair, rushed at him with tears, crying at him.

"Thank you...Thank you for saving...me." She cried. 

 Magnus was lost at what to do but as she continued to cry, he slightly felt irritated. He lightly raised his foot, at which the woman noticed that the hems of his clothes were wet from her tears. 

The Scarlet woman slowly stood up and wiped her tears, she sniffles as she spoke. "I'm sorry...Thank for saving me from them. My name's Scarlet." 

When the woman stood up, Magnus couldn't help but feel intimidated because she was much taller than him, that he could only reach her chest. What intimidated him was those two nicely shape mounds before him. A woman as sexy as her would definitely pressure a young nine year old boy as Magnus. 

Though he heard what she said, he could only understood some parts of it, like he knew she was expressing her gratitude for saving her but that last part was a bit obscure for Magnus so he titled his head.

The woman, Scarlet, noticed this and asked. "You don't understand?" 

And Magnus continued to tilt his head. Scarlet took this as a "Yes and she looked stunned, with her hand at her mouth she gasped. She then held her hair and said. "Scarlet...like my hair." 

Magnus walked forward and tried to reach up her hair but couldn't quite reach it so Scarlet knelt down. 

"Scarlet..." Magnus was quite interested in the scarlet color of her hair that he brushed it a couple of times.

Seeing the fierce savage kid who slaughtered those three knights easily, acting like this, Scarlet couldn't believe it at first but then she thought that maybe he went through things that made him like this. 

She was lost in thought for a while before she smiled and giggled. 

"Yes, Scarlet." She nodded. 

Magnus then thought for a while and took the stance of one of the night. Then it was Scarlet's turn to tilt her head, not sure what Magnus was trying to convey. Though it took a while she did take a guess.

"You mean the Knights?" Scarlet asked.

"Knights..." Magnus repeated and committed it to memory. 

Then he took out the knives out from the ring and he asked again, then Scarlet answered. They repeated this a couple of times as Magnus asked about many things. 

"The Sun is setting, you'll plenty of time later..." Suddenly Gula's voice echoed again and this made him aware that the two of them have been sitting there in the middle of the road for quite a while now. 

"Use the Carriage..." Gula said and with their mental connection, Magnus felt something pointing his attention at the object that resembled the caravan he road as a slaves so he felt a bit of apprehension about it. 

But he knew Gula would not harm him so he got up which caught Scarlet's attention. He walked toward the "Carriage" and beckoned Scarlet. 

"What's your name?" Scarlet asked.

Magnus seemed to remember what a 'name' was and he answered "Magnus..."

The two of them road in the front but sitting there made another problem pop out, how to drive a carriage? 

Lucky enough, Scarlet knew how to. She took the reigns from his hands with a laugh and when she tugged the reigns, the horses neighed and moved forward. 

Magnus continued to ask her about many things he was curious about and he didn't seem to run out of it. He was lucky Scarlet was patient to answer and explain the things he didn't know about. Along the way, Scarlet have gotten a deeper understanding of Magnus and his problem so she didn't mind to teach him what he didn't know. 

When night fell, they settled on the side of the road. Strangely enough, the road they took was so freaking long even though it was only a straight line. Scarlet didn't need to hear Magnus ask about it and she explained it herself that this forest was between two cities called the "Red Sun City" and the "Blue Sky City", with some villages and the forts of the two cities in between. 

Magnus hunted for the two of them of course and a someone who could be called a "Seasoned" hunter, he didn't need half an hour to come back with a tiger beast that had two horns on its head. 

"Twin Horned Feral Tiger!" Scarlet exclaimed. 

Magnus tilted his head for a bit before he placed the carcass down and began to skin it. Using the flint to lit up the twigs and and dried leaves he found around, they quickly had a fire to cook the meat. 

Clearly, Scarlet was someone of nobility with how she seemed repulsed when Magnus offered her a piece of the meat on a stick. But with his insistence, she did took it and forced it down her throat. With great effort, Scarlet ate the meat without throwing up. 

After dinner, Magnus took the opportunity to ask a couple of more questions and Scarlet gladly answered them. Though it took a while, Scarlet grew tired and polite asked if she could sleep. Magnus naturally knew that he took most of her time with his questions so he nodded and let Scarlet sleep. 

Scarlet slept inside the carriage while Magnus opted to stay outside so he can practice his darkness and ask Gula to teach him how to train those "Martial arts" that he got. 

"Mnmm...oh, it's night already?" With their mental connection, Magnus didn't need to call out to her verbally. Gula sounded as if she was woken from her sleep and was stretching before noticing that it was dark outside. 

"Uh-huh." Magnus nodded. 

"I guess you want me to teach you how to practice huh?" She asked. 

To which Magnus nodded again. Gula then said "Hmm, alright then. But first let me teach you about the Stigmata and why they are important..." 

Magnus sat under the tree and listened to Gula as she narrated the the story about the three realms, the Angels and Demons, how the Stigmata was first formed and how it impacted the path of Cultivation. Magnus took all this in and from it he was very interested with the connection between Stigmata and Cultivation. 

Gula naturally answered his curiousity. "You can think of Stigmata as a helper or a Gateway towards cultivation. Of course, you can still cultivate without them but when you get to the upper levels, it becomes exponentially harder to proceed without a Stigmata. Since they more or less represent a certain [Concept] or [Rules] of the world they can help you connect with the [World] and gain small portions of it's strength." 

She continued. "The Stigmata on your chest is very special one but more on that later, you just have to remember that it's not something that you should tell others, especially people that you don't trust."

After this she started to feel weakened, probably due to their long conversation so she decided to conclude their talk. "Oh, looks like i'm running out of time. Here, I'll directly send you the information on how to cultivate. There's also the Meridians in the body and where they're located, so here...Lastly, do me a favor and eat more. The more you do, the stronger i become and the stronger i get, the stronger you get." 

With that, Gula giggled before her voice faded back into darkness. Magnus was left to analyze the entire information that was dumped into him. Luckily, it was still dead in the night so he had plenty of time. 

He first decided to learn the body's Meridians and their location as this was the one thing he didn't know about when he tried to train the [Golden Monkey Fist] art. 

Hours gone by before he properly memorized and understood how the meridians greatly affected the cultivation of a person. 

Meridians or the important points in the human bodies are locked by nature and by using the great energy of the [World] they are able to forcefully unlock these meridians, allowing them smoother flow of energy and a great boost of strength. 

Across history, many heroes have appeared and dominated an entire generation, even an entire era and that was because they had the strength to do. But they did not begin their life strong, no...they were weak. From the very moment of their birth, they were but weak little babies but as they grew up and begun their cultivation they became stronger. The meridians that they opened within their lifetimes became the measurement of their strength. 

Because, they are many who in the same level of cultivation but the difference of how many meridians have they opened would often result in the defeat of the other who had lesser opened meridians. 

Knowing this, Magnus now realized how important these meridians are had the ambition to open all of them. There were recorded heroes and legends who had opened all of their meridians and this allowed them to dominate an entire era and spawn the rise of their family. 

Magnus wanted to be like those legends but like them, he must first start with one step. Not all legends were made overnight, they too began from the bottom.

Sitting cross-legged as the indicated from the three scrolls he obtained earlier, Magnus tried to perceive traces of the [World Energy] around him. What shook him was that as he closed his eyes and concentrated he could see tiny specks of light of different colors, floating and flying around. 

Magnus didn't know what these actually are but he had a guess that they were the [World Energy]. Feeling extremely elated, Magnus couldn't help but count how many colors of lights there were and found seven colors. 

Written on the scrolls, he learned that these colors correspond to their respective elements.

Red is for Fire, Blue is for Water, Green is for Earth, Gray is for Wind, Yellow is for Lightning, Violet is for Darkness and White is for Light. 

Each element had their own basic cultivation and Physique cultivation arts that was written, refined and handed down from generations to generations. The "Seven Elements Cultivation arts: Minor Series" was a downgraded version of the actual original series, which many families would let their disciples to practice. Then they would reward the actual series to whoever performed better. 

Magnus had a thought, maybe the Darkness could devour these scroll and refine them, the same way it refined the [Golden Monkey Fist] art. But sadly, it seemed like the darkness had a mind of it's own and had no interest in these two scrolls when he willed it to. 

Just as he was lost at what to do, he heard the familiar woman's voice echoing inside of him. 

"Hahaha...trying to devour that piece of junk? Forget it, I wouldn't even look at it. I forcefully woke myself up because i forgot to give you the actual arts to practice the Stigmata that you have and here you are, trying to learn an inferior art..." Gula's voice seemed disappointed and disgusted with the idea of devouring the "Seven Elements Cultivation arts: Minor Series" 

Magnus felt a bit hurt and angry but then Gula sighed. "Hey, i'm not exactly mad at you. It's my fault to begin with. Here, this will cheer you up." 

Gula definitely felt his emotion and felt like she said too much so she directly gave the cultivation art and the physique art that comes with the Stigmata. 

[World Devouring Art: The power to devour the Essence, laws and everything in the world]
  
It had a very short description but it was straight to the point, devour the world...Magnus learned that it had ten levels and every level is harder to cultivate than the last. It's main focus was definitely faithful to the word "Devour" as this art requires you not only to consume large amount of energy, not just from the world but even from living beings as well. Next was the Physique art.

[Great Leviathan Body: Cultivate the body of the great beast that could devour the world whole.]

Same as the [World Devouring Art] it had a short description but straight to the point. He learned that this art could very well be cheating, this art allows you to cultivate your body by using the energy of the world to continuously refine the body till it becomes just as strong as the original Leviathan Beast. 

Deciding that there is no more time to waste, Magnus followed the information sent to him by Gula to practice both arts at the same time as they complement each other very well.

Concentrating on guiding the energy that entered his body to the first Meridian he wanted to unlock, Magnus didn't notice the commotion he was causing. A huge influx of energy was gathering at their place, specifically at his position. He was lucky that there were no one there to see him practicing and Scarlet was soundly asleep. 

Magnus didn't care for something he couldn't see so he concentrated and as he continued to cultivate, he felt some thing breaking again.

The things he will experience...

The human god System had three great Divine Powers, namely, the God of Light, the God of Protection and the God of Heroes.
The God of Light was ranked as the topmost master out of the three supreme great Divine Powers. He was qualified to compete for rank of second-in-command within the Pantheon temple, a position secondary only to the Master of Order. On the other hand, the God of Protection and the God of Heroes were merely at the entry level of a great Divine Power. Within the realm of a great Divine Power, they were regarded as the bottom of the hierarchy. But regardless, they were still great Divine Powers after all! 　　
The God of Protection, in particular, was extremely skilled in defense. At that moment, his entire body was surrounded by a divine light. Apparently, that was him appearing in his truest form. The shield that he carried was also glowing radiantly, and this impressive sight also indicated the authenticity of the shield he had brought along. He did not transform himself to take the appearance of a giant; thus he was so insignificant that he was nothing worth mentioning when compared to the size of the entire Void Warship. However, even with the Void Warship, the Goddess of Pirates would never dare to try confronting the God of Protection head-on. She could only bring the Void Warship to an urgent halt.
This "emergency brake" came so suddenly that at least a third of the warriors onboard were thrown off balance. Many of them stumbled about and eventually fell to the ground like falling gourds. 
The Master of War frowned and gestured to his side. Then the God of Strategy and the God of War jumped up from where they were and transformed into two streams of light before flying off to where the God of Protection stood.
"What's the meaning of this?" the God of War, with his body and face full of bruises, asked ferociously. "Are you trying to pick a fight!?"
The God of War and the God of Strategy both had mid-level Divine Powers, but when it came to combat power, both were confident that they would not lose out to the God of Protection. The God of Protection's ability was too undistinguished, highly capable in defense but lacking when it came to attacking. Even if they could not win the fight, they could still ensure that they were able to make a dignified retreat without sustaining any serious injuries.
This confidence, coupled with the anger in their hearts, naturally made their tones unfriendly and hostile. As he spoke, the God of War had already taken out his weapon, just like someone who would wield his blade to hack someone up the moment there was the slightest disagreement.
The God of Protection was completely unmoved. After waiting for about a minute or two, he slowly opened his mouth to reply.
"Welcome!" he said in a dry tone. "Although relying on our strength alone is enough to defeat the entire Mystery God system, we would still like to welcome everyone who has come together as comrades!"
The various Gods of War were startled upon hearing his words. Sui Xiong was so surprised that he jumped to his feet.
What?! The human god System had already gone ahead and attacked the Mystery God System?!
"How is that possible!" Sui Xiong could not help flying out. He landed right before the God of Protection, and in a loud voice, he asked, "At the time when I left, which was not too long ago, all was well, wasn't it? Why are you all fighting all of a sudden?"
The God of Protection had fought alongside Sui Xiong on previous occasions, so more or less, they shared some form of friendship. Hearing Sui Xiong's questions, the God of Protection cast him a glance and replied in the same slow tone, "It was just after you left when we made our move."
Sui Xiong was even more surprised and hurriedly asked, "Since that time, you all have ambushed the surroundings?"
"Not exactly the surroundings. At that time, we were outside the Country of Rainbow," The God of Protection said. "However, there was someone responsible for keeping a close watch over 'the Seven Colors Spring' as we waited for an opportunity to strike."
A sudden thought struck Sui Xiong, and he asked aloud, "How did you all know there was an opportunity?"
The God of Protection was silent for a moment; then he replied, "I didn't know. I just waited there, that's all."
"So, who told you there would be an opportunity?"
The God of Protection did not reply.
It was then that a strong tremor suddenly spread over the Positive Plane of the entire Ring of the World. This tremor did not contain any form of power, yet it evoked a heart-throbbing sensation. 
At the same time, all spellcasters from all over the world could clearly sense the chaos of magic power. The power they used to be able to control easily suddenly felt so distant from them. Furthermore, there was a determined voice resounding within them.
"I, Ymirjar Le-Peyroux, will never surrender!"　
Right after this angry roar, there was another faint, long sigh; following this sigh, the magic power got even more violent. All the spellcasters felt an emptiness in their hearts as though they had suddenly lost a large part of it.
Magic arrays from all parts of the world started to vibrate and shake violently. All magic props seemed to rapidly lose their glow as though they had lost their powers. There were also some people who previously consumed magic potions to prolong their lives that rapidly grew so old that it seemed as though they might die the very next second.
Then, another long laugh was heard.
"Old friend, there is no need for you to take things so hard!"
This laugh was like an anchor of stability, and right away, it brought that riotous magic power back to a state of calm and peace. The magic arrays that were about to collapse a moment ago resumed normality; the magic props regained their glow, and the magic potions restored their power.
However, spellcasters from a thousand other worlds grew all the more frightened and worried. 　　
Even without any knowledge about the various gods, anyone could vaguely guess what was going on at that moment. The great magicians with rich experience and extensive knowledge would most certainly clearly understand what was happening.
The Mystery God System had been compromised. The God of Spellcaster was unwilling to surrender, and out of anger, he committed suicide. Likewise, the Master of Mystery also wanted to take his own life, but he was subdued by his opponent before he had his way. 
Anything that mortals could understand, the various gods would most certainly be able to understand even better. Even for those who did not understand what was going on, one could see how the God of Spellcaster suddenly disappeared from the Pantheon temple, with his throne collapsing altogether. One could also see how the Master of Mystery sighed while looking so dejected—anyone could guess from these obvious clues that something unpleasant had happened. 
Sui Xiong was communicating with Wall right then. Wall was half-surprised and half-delighted as he exclaimed, "Your Majesty! The Mystery God System is done for! The God of Art and Culture has now pledged allegiance to us!"
"Take him in and protect him well," Sui Xiong replied compendiously.
"Understood!" Wall replied immediately; then he asked again, "What else do we have to do?"
"I am in the vicinity right now. Let's play by the ear, if there is anything advantageous to us along the way, I will not stand on ceremony," Sui Xiong replied quite casually; then he ended the conversation.
Inside the Sanctuary, with eyes wide open and mouth agape, Wall was quite stunned.
"His Majesty… how could he have made his way to the 'Seven Colors Spring' in such a short period of time? His speed unbelievably fast!"
Right before Wall stood the God of Art and Culture with a face filled with worry and unease. Seeing Wall's response to Sui Xiong's answer, he could not help asking, "That… His Majesty, the Void Mask, how exactly did he answer you?"
Wall also happened to recover from his preoccupied state just then. With a smile, he patted the God of Art and Culture on the shoulder and reassured him, saying, "Fret not, His Majesty has given us his word. From now on, you can stay here with us. Aye! If you ask me, I would have told you to move in with us ages ago. Wouldn't here be much more suitable for you than the Seven Colors Spring?"
The God of Art and Culture finally heaved a long sigh of relief as though a large stone was lifted off his chest. 　　
Just now, numerous human gods launched a sudden attack. With their combined forces, the three great Divine Powers had quickly broken through the defense of the Seven Colors Spring within the God's Kingdom of the Mystery God System. The impending battle made him decide to abandon his body over at the God's Kingdom of the Mystery God System. Right away, he transferred his divinity over to the outside of the Main Plane so that he could take care of his clone that he had left at his one and only temple (i.e., the Great Theatre of Void City). Instantly, he had switched between his noumenon and his clone. 
Then while spellcasting to shift the souls of his core followers away, he did not hesitate in sprinting towards the Sanctuary within the God's Kingdom of the Void God System. He was looking for the God of Knowledge with whom he shared quite a close friendship with. The moment he got there, the first thing he said was, "The Mystery God System is finished. I have come to pledge my allegiance to you. On account of our friendship, do take me in!"
Wall was thrown into a loss by what the God of Art and Culture said, so he contacted Sui Xiong, who explained the scene that just unfolded.
