For as long as they knew Regina and Raina only had themselves and their mother as family. Throughout their childhood they never met their Father.

Their mother is Merilyn Arclight, an exorcist of the vatican church and a member of the Arclight family. A family of exorcists with a long history, creating many prestigious exorcists throughout the years. One of their ancestors is said to be Jacques De Molay the last grandmaster of the knight templars.

Their mother was the heir of the family, the next in line to succeed as the family head. However her future changed when she saved a Fallen Angel and they fell in love with each other. The Fallen Angel left her as he knew her family wouldn't let them be together, he didn't want her to throw everything away just to be with him. So he left and disappeared however fate is truly cruel as unknown to the Fallen Angel, Merilyn was pregnant with twins and once she knew this she ran away and hid as she knew her family would eliminate herself and her children for having the lineage of one of their enemies, the Fallen Angels.

It has been 10 years since her escape and throughout the years she had been raising the two children on her own.

Her eldest she named Regina. As Regina grew older she showed talent in in the various martial arts and talent with weapons such as the sword, archery and the spear among others. She could make use of any weapon in combat however she is best in using swords as well as projectile weapons such as throwing knives and archery.

The younger twin, Raina however unlike her older sister didn't possess talent in martial arts instead she showed talent in the usage of different types of magics. 

Merilyn was adept at using the sword along with exorcism arts and was taught by the Fallen Angel in magic throughout the years they have been together so she was proficient and has taught the twins the art of combat. Although she wished for them to live normally, she wanted them to be able to protect themselves.

Marilyn has also changed their last name to Regulus, to hide from the arclight family, and has worked to be able to protect the twins through making different safe houses around the world, as well as formations to escape in.

Marilyn has told the twins of the Arclight family and their father who is a Fallen Angel. The twins who heard of their mother's story looked at each other and vowed to get stronger to protect their family.

The three of them are currently in the countryside of the U.K. living their normal daily lives however this would be the last day that the twins would be with their mother.

As the three were eating breakfast, Marilyn has gotten alarmed with the attacks from the barrier being broken. The front of their house was broken and destroyed revealing several exorcists from the Arclight Family.

"Faustian Arclight... how did you find us here?" Said Marilyn looking at the old man who is her Father.

"Hoh... it seems your not even gonna call me Father anymore?" Replied Faustian Arclight.

Throughout her whole life Marilyn never felt any affection nor love coming from this man, he treats even his family as tools and never showed any care towards them. A cold and calculative man.

Towards Faustian's question, Marilyn releases her mana along and puts her sword in front of her, with her back to the twins protecting them.

In response Faustian releases his mana as well and the exorcists behind him prepare to fight.

"No response?, this is fine I guess. Still those 2 bastards grew up big huh. Well no matter, this time you won't be able to run anymore."

Faustian then pulled out his sword and chanted, "dance, [Claiohm Solais]"

The holy sword then flashed with a holy aura and split into 9 blades with two in his hand and the other seven around his back.

Claiomh Solais was one of the holy swords passed down in the Arclight Family since ancient times and one of the strongests, Solis Catastrophe used it as a basis when it was created becoming its sister blade. Both of them has the ability to amplify the users powers. They are both high grade holy swords only inferior to the True Excalibur.

"Eliminate then all." With Faustian's words the surrounding exorcists charges towards the family of three. Some shooting guns and others with swords.

"I call upon the power of the scales protect thee from mine enemies, [Justitia Praesidium]."

A shield of light appears and blocks the incoming attacks and bought time for the family of three.

Marilyn knew that it would be hard for them to escape with all three of them, knowing this she turned to the twins.

"Mom we can't just leave you here!" Raina said with tears in her eyes.

By the side Regina was gripping her hand into a fist. She closed her eyes and then opened them with determination.

She then takes her sisters hand and looks towards her mother and nodded.

"Lets go Raina." Said Regina with tears in her eyes.

"Sis!" Yelled Raina in shock.

"Don't let mom's sacrifice go to waste." Replied Regina.

Marilyn then pulls the two into a hug and kissed their foreheads. She then removed her ring and gave it to Regina.

"This is a spacial ring. It has the ability to store items in a separate space, I left many things for the two of you there. Just drop your blood onto it and you will succeed ownership after you escape."

She then took Regina's hand and pricked her finger and dropped the blood onto Solis Catastrophe.

"I appoint thee as mine successor."

The blade glowed for a bit, then a mark appeared on Regina's forehead.

"After you escape just call out the blade and it shall appear."

Hearing her mother's words, Regina nodded with tears in her eyes.

Marilyn then looked towards Raina. She removed her necklace and gave it to her.

"Take this necklace it was given to me by your Father. It has the same effect as the ring, as for the other functions you guys will find out ob your own."

She then hugged her two crying girls and said, "I love you two, survive this and live happy."

She then turned her back as the two girls ran away, the barrier she put also broke.

She then put but of her hands towards her sword and gathered holy power.

"Holy line!"

She then released a slash of light towards her opponents holding them back and blowing them away except a few.

"Go hunt those girls I'll hold her off." Said Faustian as he engages Marilyn, crossing swords with her.

A few exorcists were able to get past Marilyn and chased after the two girls. Seeing this Marilyn can only pray as she faces her Father

After twins separated from Marilyn they head towards the basement underground to the teleport formation set up by Marilyn.

As they ran they saw many exorcists behind them chasing and firing towards them.

To the exorcists Regina sent out Holy line, although it was weaker than Marilyn's it slowed them down. Raina also fired back magic and formed barriers to protect them which breaks almost instantly.

As they are nearing the formation an exorcist kicks Regina and sent hwr flying a distance away from the formation.

"No!"

Seeing this Raina yelled out and raised her hand towards the assailant heading towards her sister down on the floor.

A flash appeared as ten rings appeared in her fingers a spell instantly formed without charging taking mana from the surroundings and fired towards the assailant killing him.

Stunned by this new found power Raina was distracted for a bit, not noticing an exorcist behind her swinging their sword towards her.

Regina who rose fron the ground saw this and screamed in terror.

"Raina!"

Similar to Raina she ran towards  the assailant trying to save her sister when suddenly a ripple appeared in the air. It was circular and shined gold. From it appeared a sword which impaled the assailant.

Finally recovering from her dazed state Raina looked back and saw the assailant in terror. Regina hugged her and pulled her towards herself.

The two of them exchanged glances and nodded towards each other.

Regina felt a connection to a separate space where several treasures slept, untouched for hundreds of years.

Raina on the other hand felt more in tune with the mana in the air and felt that she is capable of launching countless spells at once. She looks at the rings and felt power and knowledge of magic she knew not off before.

The two of them gained basic knowledge of their new abilities enough to fight for now.

"Gate of Babylon OPEN!" As Regina yelled out several golden ripples appeared in the air with several ancient weapons preparing to fire.

They recognized her wrong, they thought she was somebody else. Calmly, she pushed her baby cart that looked like baggage through security with an innocent smile and within seconds, she was entering the boat successfully. 
Hurriedly, she was checking room by room and picking the empty room, she entered and locked the room. At least, she could rest now and even if Marshal Shen unwilling to help her..., she had escaped her gold cage successfully.
Carefully, she unwrapped the black sheet from her baby cart and her twin was still fast asleep...
Without rousing them, she laid the twin on the spacious bed -on the left corner by the wall -, while she was laying on the other side like a barricade to protect them from falling.
She smiled in a relaxed mode and drifting to sleep right after she covered all of their body with a comfortable blanket.

She ran away from his powerful husband while pregnant secretly with his heir. She changed her identity and disguise herself to live a quiet life with her son. But fate made a joke on her and she had to get back to his side as his personal bodyguard.

I trudged up the stairs to my husband and I's apartment while carrying heavy grocery bags

I️ was wearing one of my favorite 1950's dresses. It was a dark red laced dress that tightened around the waist and flowed after that. Plus it had pockets.

My heart was beating and I looked up to see a strange man sitting at my kitchen table giving me a cold hard stare and the light that only lit over the table gave off a more suspenseful and interviewing feel to the room
He was young , looked around my age, maybe a tad bit older. He had dark brown hair, almost black, pale skin with a couple freckles, and brown eyes
"Who are you!? And how did you get in my house!?" I screamed 
"No need to worry Marilyn, I'm not here to harm you, I just have some questions" he said holding up his FBI badge 
I know it's strange to say that seeing his badge made me less worried but at least I knew who I was dealing with 
"You don't even know anything about me. I've never done anything wrong."

I was shocked but tried not to show it
"How do you know all that?" I asked trying to stay confident
"I'm an FBI agent, oh and your pretty stubborn. Didn't need to look in a file to find that one out" 
"Ok, fine, you can ask the question" 
"There not only questions, more information that I will-" he paused "want to tell you"
"Ok"
"But first you must sign this" he said pulling out a piece of paper that I somehow didn't notice he was holding
"Why should I sign that?"
"You know for a lady in the 1950's you really don't act like one"
"Why should I act like a lady to a stranger who went in my house without asking permission"
he sighed and ignored that statement "We need your help, your one of the few people we can ask, but before we ask or tell you anything you must sign this. It's so that the information I give you will only be between you and the FBI. If you choose to sign it and decide not to help us then that means you cannot tell anyone about this."
It seemed pretty convincing 
I didn't say anything for about five seconds

I quickly walked over to the table and slowly picked up the pen. Before signing I paused and had a moment of doubt but signed it anyways
After signing he motioned for me to sit down
I sat down and asked out of curtesy "Would you like some cake. It's Lemon cake"

"Later" he said and situated himself in a different position
"Alright, thank you for signing. I work with your husband"
"My husband works in finances"
I shouldn't have have blurted that out cause I just realized that he doesn't he was just lying to me
My expression expressed what I was just thinking and he said "yeah, now you get it. Anyways, this information is about your husband. He is an FBI agent, a good one, however he seems to know to much about what we're trying to uncover and he is a little suspicious" 
My face was blank and it didn't change after he told me that
"Judging from your expression it seems you believe it and that already tells me you'd be a good candidate. We need you help on finding out about what your husband knows and whether or not he's working for someone else or is in association with someone else. Are you willing to help?" he said lowering his tone

My face went to a thinking face as I leaned back in my chair
I thought about it and sadly I could see my husband as someone not himself 
"Yes"
"Good. Now let me tell you on what you'll be doing. We are giving you permission to go through his things. Listen in on his phone calls. Follow him. Ask him subtle questions about the art that's missing without giving away that you know about him being an FBI agent" 
He handed me a folder and I opened it. Inside was a picture of my husband, with a bunch of information that I didn't even know about. Pictures of the missing art along with information about it. Pictures of the suspects they think stole the art.

I closed it and nodded ok

He grabbed the knife and slowly started to slice a piece of cake while saying "This is a pretty dangerous task, we will keep you safe at all costs. We are counting on you to tell us the truth and we do hope your husband is not guilty of anything" after saying that he finished cutting the cake and began to take some bites
He pointed to the cake "wow, this is good, you can bake"

I blushed a little "If only my husband would say that"

he put down the plate "I'm guessing you and your husband are a little distant right now"

I looked away trying to avoid eye contact

"I'm sorry, I'm an FBI agent but that still doesn't give me the right to ask about your personal life"  

"You know a lot about me so it doesn't really push the limits. And it's ok. Your right actually. We have been distant. I thought it was his  job keeping him busy and I used to think finances don't take much time but now I know he's an FBI agent and it does take time. Guilty or not guilty he's probably never gonna have time for me. Does that sound selfish?" 

"Not at all" he said staring at me "If I had a special someone in my life. I would try my hardest to not let my job get in the way of spending time with the person I love. But don't tell my boss that cause he'll think I'm disloyal" he said laughing a little 

I laughed a little to "yeah but, us special someones have to understand that what your doing is important" 

He didn't say anything for a brief moment until he finally said "your important too" 

That definitely touched my heart

We stared into each others eyes for a little bit until he broke it and looked at the clock on the wall

"I must be going. Your husband  will be here in ten minutes" 

For some reason I didn't question that 

He got up and said "Tomorrow,  can you please come to the bank"

"Why the bank"

"I will meet you in front and take you into our FBI quarters. It's just so we can give you more information."

"Wouldn't my husband see me there" 

"We gave him the day off tomorrow, I'm sorry, we were just talking about how you want more time with him and I promise this will be quick'

"No, it's fine, he's usually hanging out with friends on his days off"

He looked at me sympathetically 

"Don't take pity in me" I stated 

"I- I wasn't, I just don't know how someone wouldn't want to spend time with you"

"You barely know me" 

"I have to go, but there will be days when you'll have to come in while your husbands working so here is a wig. It would be preferable if you wouldn't look like yourself when you come in. I know that sounds bad but it's just for precaution. but tomorrow you can look as yourself"

"Love being told what to do"

I paused "But, thank you, I promise I will try my hardest to find out information on him"

"I hope so cause you signed the papers" he said chuckling

I walked him to the door and and we said our goodbyes

I leaned on the door for a little bit and then realized I need to hide all this stuff.

I walked over to the kitchen table and looked at the plate he left on the table

Men, they don't know how to fend for themselves and they can't even put a single plate in the sink

I picked it up and put it in the sink

I grabbed an empty box and put the stuff in

I looked at the wig he gave me, it was a perfectly blonde wig. Way different then my actual hair

I had semi light brown hair with a tint of red in it

I hid the box in a place I hope he would never find it in, my closet

The door opened and I walked over to check who it was

"Hello darling" I chirped as my husband tiredly walked though the hallway

"Hello" he said with a tired tone

My back faced him and I sighed but then turned around plastering a fake smile "I'll take your coat"

He let me take his coat and I asked him "It's late, you missed supper and dinner, do you want me to fetch you anything"

"No, it's ok honey, I ate with some friends today" 

I can't believe I left my dream career for days like these

"Ok" I said as he left the room into our bedroom

He closed the door to get dressed and and I looked at his coat

Might as well start snooping now

I walked over to his coat and looked through his pockets

I found a small envelope of cash. It seemed to have a pretty big amount

Cash in envelopes doesn't seem to be good

There was a small folded up paper as well

I started to open it until the door opened so I quickly put it in my dress pocket

This chapter is in the point of view of a different character then the Mc(main character). For those who dislike it I've warned you but I do think it's a good chapter and that you should try before judging.

In a beautiful city that has a rather lively mood you could see people walking back and forth and even tho the number of people isn't that high the nonstop movement makes it seem much higher.

In this apparently lively there's a specific building wear screams can be heard even from the other side of the city but people seem not to mind it as if it was a normal and daily happening here.

In the noisy building that is a two-story building there is a young girl that looks not a day older than 8 years old that is getting yelled at by serious women that looks to be about 25-27 years old and she doesn't seem to be going easy on her at all. 

Woman:YOU IDIOT HOW LONG DO YOU PLAN TO BRING UR SO CALLED RESEARCH ABOUT SUCH A USELESS CREATURES THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN REACHED TO ITS LIMITS AND BRINGS NO BENEFIT TO US AT ALL!!!!!CANT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?!?!?!?! IF YOU CAN THEN STOP BRINGING THAT USELESS RESEARCH HERE. IF YOU EVER BRING THOSE USELESS NOTES OF YOURS ABOUT GOBLINS AND SLIMES  EVER AGAIN I MYSELF WILL MAKE SURE YOU NEVER BECOME A RESEARCHER!!!!!!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IM SAYING? 

To the last question the girl gives a nod she did want to say something but she wasn't given time to even do so and simply complies.

Woman:u know if you only at least do the same type of research the others are doing and try to find a way to exterminate or at least reduce the goblins with your talent you could do it.

Girl:thank you very much for the advice miss Lenia but i've already decided what kind of researcher I'm and I don't plan to change that at all I'll research all about those two monsters. ILL BE THE GREATEST GOBLIN AND SLIME RESEARCHER EVER!!!!

Lenia:*sigh* well I guess there's no helping that stubborn personality of yours is there?

The girls shook her head at Lenia's words.

Lenia:Marilyn I know ur determined but u don't understand how dangerous monsters can be, especially goblins to a little girl  like you.

Marilyn: I know their lustful and will specifically target woman but I'm well prepared and also I won't go alone.

Lenia:u don't get it Marilyn your still just a little girl who doesn't understand who cruel and terrifying this world can be.

Marilyn:I now that I've studied it all more than any of others so why am I the only one who never gets permission to go and I'm not the only one researching slimes and goblins so why can't I go to see them in their natural habitat like the others.

Lenia:because your much younger than all the others and aren't prepared and that's why I've been rejecting all your great work till now because your not prepared for camp work so stay in the laboratory research division for a couple of years more and then you can go ok?

Marilyn:WHAT?!?! SO YOU HAVE BEEN DOING THIS TO ME ON PURPOSE?!?!? SO THAT'S WHY YOU NEVER LET ME SEE OTHERS WORK AND THAT'S ALSO WHY YOU ALWAYS KEEP AWAY FROM ALL THE OTHERS ITS NOT BECAUSE IM INFERIOR ITS BECAUSE IM BETTER THAN THEM. YOU LIED TO ME ALL THIS TIME.

Marilyn said this while trembling and shaking while crying. While Lenia could resort as she couldn't find the words to do so.

Marilyn:at least tell me one thing, did you publish my work in your name?

She said with a saddened voice and expression while crying rivers of tears.


Lenia:yes I did but was because if I put your name there they wouldn't live you in peace.

Marilyn:u were just using me to get success and you say it like you wanted to help me but you only wanted to help urself, you know I don't need you anymore good luck with your research association, the worst part is that I used to admire you.

She said still crying but now with an extremely disappointed face.

Lenia: I never wanted to steal your work I simply wanted to protect all the money I made with your work has gone to you and been used for you to continue your work with nobody bothering you, or did you really think that your salary is the normal one.

Marilyn:I don't care about fame or money what bothers me are two things first you lied to me all this time and stopped me from advancing my research and second if you really just wanted to protect me you could've just done it without having to do all this so why? Your fame or me failing.

Lenia couldn't answer at all and frowned in shame knowing that most of what Marilyn said is true.  

Marilyn looked at Lenia one more time before leaving the room truly disappointed at her, she just wishes she hadn't gone there today.

While on the other hand Lenia only thought that she was stupid for getting to distracted by the conversation and ending up saying unnecessary things even if she knows she would eventually have to say the truth this wasn't the best way to do it, actually it was almost the worst way.

Lenia:seriously what's up with my luck lately First people say that there's a possibility of a rank A thunder element monster starting to live in the tenku tenku forest and now this, give me a break please God. Also I expect this girl doesn't do anything too extreme arrrhhhh, why is everything going wrong for us lately even the monsters of the area started disappearing as if running away from something, more and more paper work keeps coming. WHY MEEEE!?!?!?!

I'm so frustrated right now how could she do this to me just like that, I considered a mother and she was actually only using arrrhhh I hate this so much, really why did I even wake up today?

Marilyn:my life as a researcher?! How will I achieve that now?

???:hey Marilyn what you doin?

I turn around still stressed and was about to let it out on this person but I stopped when I saw who it was. It's my best friend and also a researcher Isabelle crown.

Marilyn:oh Isabelle, well right now I'm not really in a talking mood so can we talk later.

I said with a with a fake smile and a fake happy expression.

Isabelle:really!?! We've been friends for 12 years and that's the best faking you can do? Please I could feel your sadness from kilometers away, now be a good friend and tell me what's up.

I guess I can't fool her at all huh.

Marilyn:it's just I discovered something and it's making me feel bad even tho it's not my fault I feel dumb for not noticing earlier but I don't really wanna talk about it.

Then Isabelle hit my head hard.

*pop*

Marilyn:ahhhh, that hurt you know.

I said while rubbing my head.

Isabelle:that's what you get for insulting my friend and I would proudly do it again cause your amazing actually your the best ever in the world so stop calling urself dumb cause of you ever call my friend dumb again I'll beat you till not even your mother can recognize you.

She said this while first looking straight in the eyes full of conviction and then hugged me real tight.

Really don't I have a too good friend for me. Sometimes I forget how blessed I am.

Marilyn:thank you so much your the best Who ever existed.

I said so with tears coming out but this time I had a smile it didn't solve my problem but at least makes me feel better.

Isabelle:at least you know that good.

She said with her an air of all high and mighty.

This girl really makes me wonder if I'm not older than her in reality.

Marilyn:anyways what were you doing here?

Isabelle:my brother's party is back to the city, and since ur always talking about seeing goblins and smiles in their natural habitat so I thought of asking if they could take us there and he agreed. Also stop thinking rude things about me.

Nooooo wayyyyy!!!!! Did she just say that!?!?!? 

Marilyn:aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

I screamed of enthusiasm while Isabelle covered her ears before i started in anticipation of would happen. Also she can read my mind?

Isabelle:yes I can read your mind.

She said with an evil laugh.

Marilyn:ur dangerous.

Isabelle:and your weird, that's why we make a good pair.

I don't know how that makes us a good pair but that doesn't matter now cause we will go see goblins in their habitat this day keeps getting better because of Isabelle there really isn't another in this world.

Marilyn:so when are we going?

I said still very enthusiastic.

Isabelle:relax we have 2 hours to get ready.

Marilyn:so we have to go get the equipment right now.

As I said that I grabbed Isabelle's hand and we both went to my lab to get my equipment and not long after we arrived.

When we went inside we found my marvelous lab.

Isabelle:how do you work in this damp seriously and the smell it's simply disgusting, your a lady you know working in this conditions like some old creep really what's your problem? Don't you know the word hygiene? That's why lifestyle magic exists you know.

She said with a disgusted expression and tone and changed to an annoyed expression and tone by the end while looking at me.

Marilyn:what are you talking about this place is perfectly organized and it smell like home.

I say with great pride.

Isabelle:your a lost case but if your so sure then find your magical bag.

She said with a victorious expression and tone even before it started. This girl will see I'll show her the greatness of my sanctuary.

Marilyn:easy its right here.

I said while I point at a table with a blanket covering it. Then I get closer and pull the blanket only to the see a lot of glorious goblin organs scattered over the table.

Marilyn:it's weird I guess I confused the table so don't get too full of urself thinking you won.

I said while worried internally cause I'm not sure where I left my magical bag and those things are really expensive mine was 2 gold since I bought one of the cheat ones but it's actually really expensive considering some people only earn 5 bronze a day considering all life expanses. My salary is 20 silver monthly and my savings right now are of 7 gold and 30 silver, this is what I could save of the total of 4 years I worked as an apprentice researcher.

Marilyn:sometimes you sound like your not even a researcher where's your passion?

Isabelle:well I'm a passionate researcher I'm just not as much as you and I'm a monster researcher in general but I'm more interested in plant monsters their truly a work of art. 

She said with a smile.

Marilyn:plants isn't that what weird researchers choose?

I said unintentionally.

Isabelle:says the goblin and smile lover.

She said while looking at me with a dead pan expression.

Marilyn:but they are amazing you just have to listen to me for a little while and-.

I was stopped by Isabelle and then she said.

Isabelle:not now, for now just find ur magical bag so that we can go If we take too long my brother won't wait forever.

After hearing her words i start to frenetically look for my magical bag everywhere like my life depends on it cause it kinda does but wasn't able to find it, after searching for an hour I still didn't find it at all and give up to beg Isabelle for help.

Marilyn:please my life will end if I don't find it.

I say this once again crying rivers of tears.

Isabelle:so now you understand my greatness huh.

Marilyn:of course your the greatest there is and I never had the right to doubt u.

Isabelle:sometimes you give in so easy it looses the fun, but I'll help you it's on your waist.

"Old man?!" Rastel turned around to see Oron and Mary standing by the gate with horrified players all around them.
Mary was still holding the pose of unleashing the spell as she took a side glance at the players still staring. They flinched as they all took steps away from the duo. Oron on the other hand was smiling as stood in front waving at them
"It can't be! Bloody Mary! It's really bloody Mary!"
"What? Bloody Mary!?"
"That's really her?"
"You guys let's run! She's a ranker! And a top one too!"
The players all around scattered like weeds blown by the wind as they ran into the village to presumably hide.
'Bloody Mary?' Rastel felt interested. He never knew Mary was a ranker and a famous one at that.
He let Myra down as they leisurely jogged to the gates, the danger was over so they both felt relaxed, although Myra still clutched his hands tightly as they moved.
"Mary you don't know how wonderful it feels to see you now, really!" Rastel smiled as he approached them.
She smiled back at him before taking a step to Oron's side.
"Boyyo what are you doing taking naps in the middle of the forest for? We were just about to go get you when we saw these lively people getting up to some suspicious things" Oron smiled at him
"I know right? No regards for others at all!" Rastel shook his head disapprovingly as he looked at the players sprawled by the attack.
"I was just trying to catch up on some lost sleep. You know they say sleeping in VR is dreamless. It seemed very tempting to me, very peaceful" he added this time nodding his head.
"I know what you mean boyyo, my old bones get to me at times and I crave having a peaceful nap too. It is a shame some people can't understand someone's pure intentions" Oron shook his head too pitifully.
"Really a shame. Old man, it is nice to have someone who understands. It really is true what they say about friendship, there is no barrier of any sort that can obstruct two like souls" Rastel looked at Oron with grateful eyes like he had just found his long lost brother.
Oron laughed out loud at the statement as they brought their little exchange to an end. Mary led the way as they entered into the village under the wary gazes of the terrified players. Even though they didn't dare attack because of Mary's presence, they still had to keep track of their movements.
The party of four ignored them as they moved through the somewhat now lively streets of Laron. The villagers had returned and were now trying to put everything back together.
Rastel used this opportunity to report to Oron all that he encountered in the dungeon, that was the only request that he had made of him for giving him the scroll. Oron listened quietly and showed amusement at some parts especially when Rastel told him the contents of the letter. 
"What is an immortal anyway?" Rastel was actually curious. There was no solid info on immortals anywhere he checked on the forums and the internet. All that players knew came from rumors or folklore and children tales. It was like they were myths that didn't seem to exist.
Oron smiled at the question as he paused for a while before replying him.
"Immortals can be regarded as the peak existences in this world. They are the highest level one can train to attain, although they are never seen and most people have come to regard them as myth. There are a lot of stories and lore about powerful people in history rumored to be immortals though. If what the letter said is true and you are actually an immortal's successor, then your future prospects are unimaginable. Who knows? Maybe you may become an immortal too?" Oron gave him his views on the matter.
"Immortals" Rastel repeated the word as he fell into thought. A power considered myth by many, he wasn't sure if he dared to dream to attain this power but if he found out that it was achievable then…"
Oron then proceeded to tell him about how he was helping the villagers get rid of the syndicate and how they had asked to help retrieve rastel from the forest when the met with him just recently.
"Why didn't they just bring me back then?" Rastel was puzzled.
"They said your golem was very possessive, it only allowed the little girl near you because she healed you" Oron was also at a loss.
"Hmm…. Amba beat up the villains. Then he stood over you to protect you" Myra piqued in as she skipped along them.
Amba beat up the assassin too? A level 28 assassin!? Rastel started to re-evaluate Amba's strength and his own power level. If Amba was capable of such feats didn't that mean he had nothing to fear from mid-level players? At most he should be able to face off against a level 30 without being in danger.
'Wasn't Natsu at level 30? And he is really badass in game. Does that mean I'm now badass too?' Rastel now started seeing the advantage of his unique class.
Before he thought that all he had for now were his golems and he would have to be creative to increase his strength. But it turned out just Amba alone was a huge cheat in his armory.
'Am I not basically a cheat now? Who has ever heard of a level 10 having the firepower of a level 30?' he thought happily as they continued to move.
Very soon, they reached the village inn and entered the door. Inside the inn were the men they fought with yesterday including Marilyn, the old man, the village chief and his son and even Gai and his team. They all turned around to look at them as they entered the inn.
"Well that was fast!" Marilyn looked surprised.
"We picked them up at the gate. They were about to be rushed though, Mary here took care of it" Oron patted Mary on her head and she smiled.
Marilyn approached Rastel and Myra with a stern look as she chastised the little girl.
"Why did you run away like that yesterday? You almost gave me a heart attack! What if they got their hands on you?" she lectured her.
"I'm sorry…." Myra seemed teary eyed as she gripped Rastel's arm with both hands and tried to hide behind him. Gai on the other hand approached Rastel with an interested look with Ann and Marco following behind.
"Your golem saved our lives yesterday, that's the second time now you saved us. We will remember this" he said solemnly as he extended his hand.
Rastel shook it with his free hand. "It was nothing, I almost died and didn't really have control over the whole situation either". He said embarrassingly.
"But dude where did you get your hands on a golem that powerful? It grabbed the assassin and smashed him to death like it was nothing. It was really gruesome, but it was very cool though. Everyone was shocked!" Marco seemed more enthusiastic about it than the rest as he shook his hands vigorously.
Ann just expressed her thanks and smiled at him. They all exchanged contacts and Gai, Marco and Ann became his first friends since he started the game.
After that Gai looked at the old man in the room and nodded. The man was sitting silently by the side without saying a word all this while. When he saw Gai's signal, he stood up and walked slowly to their side.
Oron glanced at the man and the man looked back. They both nodded at each other before the man walked slowly and led Gai and his team out of the inn.
By this time, Marilyn had finished chastising Myra and now turned her attention to Rastel.
"Thank you for accepting our request Rastel, we will be forever grateful for your help in freeing our village from our oppressors" she gave him a little bow.
She then took out a small purse from her large dress filled with circular pieces made from some metal with seven tiny holes around the perimeter.
"Your reward as promised 2000 kryts" she handed him the bag of kryts and he accepted it with both hands.
At this point, he heard dings from a bunch of notifications coming in.

John, Jessa and Teacher Marilyn walk towards the venue,when they got there they saw many students and teachers talking to each other.

The crowd noticed them and immediately blushed whether it's boy or a girl, because they saw the charming face of John and gorgeous face of Jessa they looked at the 2 while dazing, but there's someone who's frowning a handsome boy that is tall with chestnut colored hair and iris, he was second rank at the most handsome boy at school while 10th in the most hottest in school.

John felt this and looked towards him he felt a sinister aura coming from him and frowned but just ignored it and continued chatting with the others, he got friends in the Seniors actually of them but unfortunately the others are not there but he was chatting with Frederick he is tall and sword like eyebrows he is ranked 5th in the most handsome and 3rd to the most hottest in school beside him is his partner Veronica she is a tall girl with developing curves and had a blonde hair she is half German half Filipino she is ranked 3rd in the most beautiful girl in the school, there are other 4 friends but they were not ranked in the most handsome, most hottest or most beautiful but still they got looks their names were Joshua, Vince, Mary and Sherry.

Joshua is a cheerful boy with black hair and brownish eyes he is tall with a handsome face, next is Vince he got brownish hair black eyes handsome comparable to Vincent(One of the Best Friends of John at chapter 1), Mary is cheerful just like Jessa they were like sisters when talking with each other she is a beautiful young lady with long hair and blue eyes, the last 1 is Sherry she is a shy type person and a clumsy one but hey that's plus points for a cute girl like her she has short hair upto her shoulders and round eyes.

The 8 of them chatted they asked John about his progress towards Jessa "So bro any progression on courting Jessa?" Joshua asked and chuckled, Jessa just blushed "Hey what are you talking about Josh shouldn't we ask Jessa instead of John because she's the one courted him?" both said by Frederick and Vince while laughing, John and Jessa just stayed silent "Don't listen to them Jess they're like retarded boys who stays in the corner of the street" "Yeah just forget them" "Well I'm just curious are there any progress Jess?" They told and asked her at the same time, Jessa just nodded silently. And they all chatted for a while and then the Photographer arrived.

"I'm so sorry Ma'am the traffic is heavy out there so I got late" apologized the man that just arrived the teacher just nodded and said "It's ok the good thing is you arrived let's now start"

The venue is only at the school but it got decorated the first one is at the floor it has rocks formed in rectangular form the candidates will lay down there and pose just like models it is a tricky one to shoot but it went well, the other venue is at the forest like part of the school there they will just sightseeing and the Photographer will do the rest. The Photographer take photos of the candidates, the photos are nice to watch it's like edited but not.

Now it's Jessa's turn she sight sees around and found an interesting thing while approaching it, the Photographer accidentally took a photo of her poured down with sunlight, when you see this photo you will surely say 'It's a Goddess' the teacher saw the photo and quite shock and daze they can feel that the photo has a noble aura that's makes them comfortable, they just stared at it for a few minutes and then they heard a cough "cough.....cough...." from John, well he will is the last one to be taken a photo with so he got impatient, the photographer snapped out of the daze and then said "You can continue in sightseeing" he positioned his camera focusing only to John, while John seen something at the branch of a tree so he jumped gracefully like he is flying and landed slowly left leg first, at the same time the Photographer clicked 4 times accidentally he got the picture of John when he jumped and slowly landed, he got shocked again because he got 4 freaking best photos he had taken in his life he doesn't know anymore if it is his skills as a photographer or it's only sheer luck that he got this but that didn't matter anymore because he got this 5 photos including Jessa's photo that he can sell for a big price because when you see the photo it's like painted not taken from a device but made manually it's art. 

The teachers and students saw the picture and yet again they got into their daze form not moving an inch and just feeling the aura that the photo gives it's pure nobles aura and got authority infused on it........ they were in daze for awhile they wasted time it should have been finished at around 10 in the morning but it's already 11:30 they snapped out of it and instructed the student to eat lunch first, they disperse while thinking 'What are these 2? why is their pictures give that kind of vibe while ours is just like a stone' thought the students they were jealous but can't do anything, well except for the friends of Jessa and John they are already used to it but the thing they couldn't comprehend is that John gives a strong charming aura when he do those things recently, but just shrugged their shoulders. 

While they were leaving there's someone is left in there he was frowning and his face is super red from anger he thought he is so handsome and his photo is perfect but when he saw John's photo the difference is in there it's like heaven and earth he can't reach that height he just stands there for a while and walk away while cursing John in his mind.

John, Jessa and Teacher Marilyn walk towards the faculty room "Well congrats to the 2 of you, your first 2 photos is a success keep up the goodwork" she just smiled while saying this, John and Jessa just nodded and smiled back at her, they reached the faculty room "Well let's eat already I'm starving" complained by Jessa she got back to her usual self, she is now comfortable talking with John there's no awkwardness. They started eating and when they finished their lunch it's already 1 in the afternoon, this afternoon the photos that will be taken is a couples photo they have to look like a couple.

They got back at the forest and already started the Photoshoot, the Photographer saw John and Jessa then smiled at them, they smiled back while waiting for their turn John started talking to Jessa "Well Jess what pose are we gonna do to look like a couple?" John saw the first candidates that had taken their photos and there he saw, the first pair are holding hands the next pair did the same while the others lean back to back and look towards the camera. "Well let's do a unique pose maybe you hug my arms and snuggle to me, just like you did when I slept at your house" Jessa blushed while their friends heard what John said "Really Jess? he slept at your house and you 2 share the same bed? fufufufufufuufuf~" the girls giggled while the boys gave John a thumbs up, Jessa's face is painted with red and at the top of her head you can see steam coming out. 

They just all laughed and giggled, it's now their turn the walk side by side Jessa didn't replied when John suggested what their pose is but that doesn't mean she disapprove it while they were walking side by side Jessa then caught John's arms and hugged it while her head is snuggling to his chest, the Photographer took the photo of it and clicked rapidly, he didn't care if his storage will be full just having this 2's picture is already a treasure, Everyone saw what Jessa did and got shocked not because Jessa snuggled to John but because when the sunlight hit them they looked like a God and Goddess couple they radiated and gives them the feeling of wanting to worship the 2 of them and thought 'truly a match made by Gods not just heavens', while Teacher Marilyn thought 'awwweeee~~~ so sweet' and she giggled. 

The Photoshoot ended with their photo being the best, the Photographer gave them a bright smile and thumbs up like indicating 'You 2 can already marry each other' thought like that, while John and Jessa walking back Jessa is still hugging his arm and just remained silent he too wants this kind of feeling, they walk back to Teacher Marilyn, "You 2 should get together already you 2 were perfect" said by their teacher Jessa didn't heard this and just hugs John while John just reverted his gaze from her, and there he saw the boy who shows hostility towards them if before his hostility is dark now it is much more darker.

The boy approached them while frowning "Hey you who said to you that you had to steal the spotlight huh?!" while showing John his anger, Jessa snapped out of her hugging John and saw the boy in front of them she recognized him he is that boy who straightforward asked to go out with her she frowned, the boy said again "Hey are you deaf or what? just hand over Jessa to me you're not qualified to be with her ONLY ME AND NO ONE ELSE IS QUALIFIED TO BE WITH HER!!!!!!!!!" he clutched his fist and positioned himself to punch John but before he could do that John activated his Rinne-Sharingan and used his skill Realistic Genjutsu he can freely alter time there he set 1 month there only a second here. 

The boy arrived at an empty space and a moment later he saw people many many people and looked at him disdainfully and cursing him they're cursing him for a whole month that the boy's mind broke and he just stares at the horizon just like an idiot, the most thing he feared is being criticized and to be not wanted anymore.

after a second the boy is back at the same spot Jessa and the others felt nothing it's because it's only been a second passed here, they are looking at the boy that is about to punch John staring straight and saliva rolls down from his mouth and muttered "mumu...fu....ru....ga...ro..." he can't utter any clear words. The teachers saw this and rushed to him and brought him to the clinic, and again John just walked away with Jessa by his side, He plans to go home now he is too tired.

The situation of the Milky Way Alliance finally saw a dramatic change. The Manalasuo Empire had finally stepped over the Sirius Star and rizen up. The Aslan Empire, Arbiter, and Maya were still in a stalemate. Manalasuo seemed to have become the number one in the Milky Way Alliance. 
The Darkness Empire was supposed to be the second winner, but their loss at the Solar System dropped them back to their original position. Determining whether a country was strong or not would depend on whether they were capable of using Ren Yixuan's game. At the same time, they had to have a Heaven-rank warrior strong enough to support it. At present, countries with such capabilities in the Milky Way Alliance had very strong Heaven-rank warriors to ensure their safety.

As the translator, I've enjoyed translating this novel and I hope to bring the essence of what the author has tried to portray into the chapters you will read.
To sum it up in 3 words: Mechs! Explosions! Science!
To be perfectly honest, this novel is about your typically overpowered protagonist who does get looked down from time to time but always overcomes the odds with his own special power. He's abit more mature having grown up on his own and just a littttttttle bit dense.
Although it always ends up with him winning, it always happens in an interesting (subjective) and fun way that makes me enjoy reading this.
The novel has elements of lighthearted comedy from time to time and I do chuckle at how direct the humor is.
It's not as smart as say WMW nor does it weave an intricate story much like Ergen's novels. More importantly, its fun and it doesn't try to hide it.
