hello it's me...well you don't know me and I you so uh...yeah

I'll be honest this will probably suck a load of dick as this is the first story I've ever written so...yay for that. Also I have no clue of the update schedule I'm totally improvising this as I go so it will undoubtedly suck. uh I hope you at least get a little enjoyment either out of the story or my horrible writing so have fun.

p.s I'm writing this in my phone so there will also be a lot of Grammer and word mistakes. you have been warned.

When we die our bodies and souls are recycled to create new life, and that goes for both the mortal races and the deities of the divine circle. When a mortal dies their bodies return to nature and their souls are collected to be reborn as little babies. But when a deity dies they just...fade away. Leaving nothing behind except memories made with their peers. 

"How can a deity die?" You might ask yourself. Well, it's simple, Deities gather their power from their followers, but when there are none, they cease to exist. I only have a few hundred years left and I want to leave a mark on the mortal world...I've heard stories from my peers about choosing a champion to fight in their name and ignite great change in the world...hmmm maybe....just maybe.

Death's hasty notes on the different types of magic skills performed by magis. And other information of interest.

✿ Magis | Master practitioner of a magic skill

✿ Magism | Laws and codes of conduct in applying magic derived from The Sacred Word.

✿ Mana | A person's natural ability for magic casting. It comes from a secret organ near the heart and the size of a pea at its largest. The larger the mana organ, the more the person has to invoke magic.

✿ Chi | A living person or creature's energy and life force. Note that undead creatures don't produce their own chi but exist on borrowing from the living.

✿ The Sacred Word | Is the all-time book of magic and history, passed down and expanded from Grand Magis to another and stored within Gat Shiem. It contains every manner of known spells, knowledge of belief systems, religious text, rituals and prophesies. It's a one stop shop outline for everything in Sol.

✿ Grand Magis/Shuso | Head Monk of Gat Shiem and the Head of Sol Magis community. All laws and code of conduct for magic use is passed down to factions through the Gat Shiem Head Chain.

✿ Gat Shiem | Magic headquarters and also a place where magic is the purest. A lot of senior magis end up taking a life long calling at Gat Shiem to master the ways of The Sacred Word and Cakra Magic.

Magic Skills

✿ Force | Transmutation, transformation and telekinesis type of magic

✿ Elemental | Able to use the elements of the world to summon a desired result (e.g call Fire, Wind, Earth, Water)

✿ Semblance | Telepathy, illusions, mental imagery, enchantments, soul trapping and binding. There are objects that can be bound with a form of Semblance spell that doesn't require the User to be adept in the skill, but they have the sufficient mana to sustain the magic.

✿ Cakra | Using the power of self to call upon a result. It requires the wisdom of a Magis to be able to summon the mana power within. Derived from Chakra.

Crown = Tapping into the mind to bring out a result. Side effect is either concussion or amnesia.

Eye = Focusing on the inner eye to reach a desired destination. Side effect is damage to the Caster's eyes, usually temporary.

Throat = Focusing on the throat to call truth, silence or invoke spells that require the sound of voice to produce a result. Side effect, nasty form of a laryngitis and possible damage to the tonsils.

Heart = The most dangerous of all Cakra magic where a person focus on the power of their love to restore the chi of another at the moment of their death. Side effect - cost is the giving of life of the Caster. The more traumatic the death, the more focus is needed and the Caster's life can be sacrificed in the process. A lot of hiras have this ability naturally.

Solar Plexus = Focuses on feelings in the gut to restore chi-health to another. Side effect - vomiting, constipation, re flux, hernias and other mild stomach complications.

Sacral = Transcendence into another time and space (form of time travel). Astral projection. It's rarely used. A Magis would have studied The Sacred Word for many years to understand the process of use. Generally, only skilled Monks trained at Gat Shiem have this ability. An exception is the one and only family who are genetically skilled. Side Effect - being stuck in the travelled time and space. Not able to reattach the soul back to the body. The current body is open to being a meat suit for formless demons to enter into.

Root = Generally known that only Gat Shiem's Shuso had the ability to use this power. It involved the temporary creation of time and space in parallel to one that existed.  It seems some magis and demons may have this ability. To evoke this power is usually at the cost of the casters own body.   The typical output of the power are Dimension Slips.

✿Talisman Magic | Uses the chanting of a passage from The Sacred Word to invoke a result. Generally to temporarily close off or open a way to somewhere or thing.

It's a form of magic that can be used by low level mana Casters since the magic is bound to strips of blessed paper with a spell (typically protection) written on it, and called upon when the correct passage from The Sacred Word is spoken.

Chapter 23

LEWIS' VILLA

"So, does your Grandpa know you're bringing your friend over?" Kate Lewis asked. They were eating dinner. Andy visited home.

"Yeah, he's okay with it."

"I'm surprised you're letting someone in…I mean, into your 'personal' life." Mr. Lewis quoted the word personal.

"Nah, I'm just comfortable with her." 

"Well, I'm surprised too," Kevin joined in. "I only knew Donna as your friend."

Andy shrugged. "I have a lot of friends. I'm even friends with everyone in school."

Kate Lewis held her daughter's hand. "Dear, acquaintances and friends are two different matters." 

Andy smiled. She can't argue with that.

"We're just glad to know you've got another friend you can lean on other than Donna." Mr. Lewis said while wiping his mouth. He has those eyes who stared at her daughter showing how genuinely he mean every word.

Erika smiled. "Thanks Dad."

"Hey, you don't really have to buy all that." Andy pointed to the shopping bags Erika was carrying.

Erika invited Andy to go shopping with her. Well, she said to buy some necessities for tomorrow's trip but it seems not just necessities to Andy. She's buying a lot.

"Why? I think I need them."

Andy sighed. "Erika," 

'Don't call me that. Hearing your voice call my name sends chills down my spine. '  Erika complained in her thoughts.

"We are going to another city, a CITY not some remote area." Andy stressed out the word CITY. 

"We can easily buy that." She added while pointing again to the bags only to caught Erika rolling her eyes. 

They ate dinner before calling it a day dropping Andy to her apartment. 

While unbuckling the seatbelt, Andy remembered something. 

"Right, we're using my car tomorrow so give me your address."

Erika lifted up her brow. "I didn't see you ride one." 

"Well, my apartment is just a walking distance from school so I don't see the need to use it."

Erika nodded. "Can I just take a cab and meet you here?"

Andy's brow met. "Is it too much for me to know where you live?"

Erika was taken aback. Andy sounded hurt. 

"No, I mean I'll…"

Andy cut her off. "It's okay. See you tomorrow then," and got out of the car. 

Erika rested her head on the steering wheel for a while before driving home.

Be brave enough to take off the mask you’ve been wearing and be who you are underneath. I think in life, happiness comes from deciding to follow your heart over your fears.

The next days I spent in the capital of Wessex were very boring. Ecbert took more time to decide on our alliance ... he acted like a woman trying to get ready for a party, I spent hours trying to convince him, but eventually stopped after a while. I didn't want to be desperate in his eyes.

Less than a week later, Ecbert invited me to hunt, it was the first time since my arrival that I had seen his son Aethelwulf and Princess Judith... as soon as she saw me, she got scared, but she also kept calm. She didn't make a scene, she didn't cry, she didn't scream ... Apart from her initial fear, she didn't show any emotions ... just like her mother when I slept with her.

After a few kilometers of horseback riding, we reached the forest north of the city. I approached Ecbert. 

- What do you think we're going to hunt today? (King Ecbert) 

I looked at him ... we're in England at the end of the 8th century ... What can we hunt here? Probably a Lion or a Tiger. 

- You don't have a lot of game to choose from in these forests ... another option is you want to hunt me, but you don't have enough people. Another possibility is hunting the Princess ... unlucky family the father was killed, the brother died hunting, only the mother died in bed. (Ulf) 

- You have a very strange mind, do you think I would kill a child? (King Ecbert) 

- As long as it is necessary to achieve your goals. You're not going to spare your life for King Offa's child and family, are you? He spared your life and now you plan to kill him ... (Ulf) 

- How do you know that he spared my life? (King Ecbert) 

- I asked people questions and they told me about your father's story. (Ulf)

- So you think he will kill the princess today? (King Ecbert) 

- No, sister and brother die hunting ... no one will believe it. I said you could do it, but not that you were a fool. No matter what we hunt ... I'm leaving for Jorvik the day after tomorrow, I can't waste any more time in Wessex. (Ulf)

- I have not yet decided if I agree to these terms ... (King Ecbert) 

- I made my point ... alliance or not I'm going back to Jorvik. (Ulf) 

The rest of the hunt was passed in silence, no one liked being put against the wall, but I couldn't wait any longer... In the evening I was invited to the bathhouse located in the castle, it was probably a relic from Roman times ... 

- I know you are leaving Wessex, but I need a guarantee that you will not form an alliance with King Offa. (King Ecbert) 

- You have my word, and it is worth more than gold. (Ulf) 

- The same word you gave King Offa that you will not attack his lands again? (King Ecbert)

- What do you expect? You don't believe my word, and that's the only guarantee I can give you. (Ulf) 

- Not the only one. You know the history of Rome as I do. You know there was a custom to take sons hostage ... (King Ecbert) 

- You want me to leave my son here ... as a hostage ?! You must have drunk too much wine. (Ulf) 

- If you were going to be keeping your word, you don't have to worry about anything. Unless you didn't intend to keep our agreement from the beginning? (King Ecbert)

- You do not know what you are saying and how did you come up with such an idea? (Ulf) 

- From you ... When we talked about great leaders from the past ... Julius Caesar or Alexander the Great. Julius Caesar was a hostage, as was Philip, Alexander's father. (King Ecbert) 

- You understand that if something happens to my son ... do you know what fate awaits Wessex and you? History will remember you not as a great King, but as a fool who destroyed his country. (Ulf)

- Nothing will happen to him, after defeating King Offa, he will be sent back to Jorvik. You have my word. (King Ecbert) 

Our discussion continued for a few more hours, but in the end I agreed to leave my son hostage ... very reluctantly, of course. Ecbert agreed to the concession that one of my men would stay to protect my heir.

- Lord, did you summon me? (Tostig) 

- Yes, you've been with me since Jarl Haraldson's death ... You know I brought my fake son to Wessex ... and now I have an important task for you. To keep up appearances, you'll stay with Sten to protect him. (Ulf) 

- I understand, I will do what I can. (Tostig) 

- That's not all, next year Wessex and we will attack the Kingdom of Mercia, you will certainly hear about it ... When Ecbert's troops go to war, you will kill Sten. He must be poisoned. (Ulf)

- Lord? (Tostig)

- Someone will have to be held responsible for his death ... he died in Wessex, he was in the care of King Ecbert. As a father, I must seek justice for my son. The next day, after saying goodbye to my son and another warning to King Ecbert, we set off for Jorvik. 

- How did you like Winchester? (Ulf) 

- The food wasn't bad, but the women ... I had to drink a lot of wine and beer. They valued themselves dearly ... they wanted to pay them with silver. (One-eyed) 

- Well, no matter if the wife or the harlot ... you always pay. (Ulf)

- What are you gonna do now? Are we going back to Kattegat? (One-eyed)

MC known from my other novel, thanks to the joke of God Weles, is reborn in the times of the Vikings ... the Vikings series. 

Here, more than the previous novel, I will focus on beliefs, demons and Slavic traditions. The MC will have his powers and knowledge ...

Of course, there will also be a lot of focus on the history ... Unfortunately, the creators of the series made some mistakes that I do not intend to correct ... like Rollo was not Ragnar's brother ... and Ivar, instead of being a cripple, could be impotent.

If there are any reviews, let them be honest, it's a pity that someone would waste time on something that is not to their liking. 

MC is not a good man, he is a murderer, sadist, manipulator and womanizer. This novel has no safe spaces, so anyone who gets offended ... I don't give a shit.

Chapters will appear not too often. The Commonwealth remains my main focus.

This battle has officially ended, the Victim rate on both sides is large and this was a terrible day for everyone, even for the Winners. They won but at what cost? They lost most of the two Platoons here in Pameres Kingdom and Gaster Kingdom's Platoon is only left with 30 Guards. 50 of them had a terrible fate! They all are dead, while the ones alive have quite some injuries too.

The good news out of all of this, is that the Houses out of the wall's protection aren't damaged. Its residents were all crammed up in other houses for the moment but it seemed quite unnecessary since they are on the Kingdom's left side, specifically near the road to BaleTown. It would be terrible on another level if Pameres Kingdom lost all of those Guards plus random Civilians. It would be a considerable shift on the economy.

The losses great no doubt, but at least King Zar's revolution still stands on its own two feet. Weak and damaged defense-wise but it still stands! This loss however taught King Zar a valuable lesson, he can't rely on Soldier Count primarily to protect Pameres Kingdom, especially with under population as a big issue throughout all the Countries of Ignis at the moment, even at Meridionali Ignis thanks to the Snow Ignites. So after they won this battle, the survivors were invited for a midday feast. 

Before the feast started, King Zar approached his personal assistant Seer and ordered him. "Write a letter that we will send to the Zamerians upon the next delivery."

Surprised a bit but also lacking focus because he is trying to lend a hand with the feast preparation, he didn't want to start writing right now so he hoped he could remember this message word by word. "I suspect that it is related with today's event?" What else could there be?

"Yes. Pameres Kingdom didn't have enough Soldiers to deal with this mess and won't have them for a long while after it too! We can't rely on the Soldier count primarily, we need Weapons here which pack a stronger punch." At this point, King Zar is referring to ranged weapons. He was able to see for himself how much of an impact arrows made in this horrible battle. If it wasn't for the 200 Archers, the Platoons would be dead a lot sooner than this and the Calidum Lutum would face a lot more losses too.

"What do you have in mind Sire? Do you mean those crossbows things?" Crossbows are a late discovery, they aren't yet so common in other domains but they are sure more effective than bows for various reasons. "I don't think they will come cheap."

"Forget about Gold, we have 300,000 Gold Coins in the royal treasury room! We can spare to buy some Weapons." Replied King Zar feeling a bit annoyed by such a point of view. So many men died today trying to protect their Kingdom, their families. This is not a time to be savvy with Gold. But King Zar remained calm and thought about the bright sides of this battle. The illustratian Alliance is weaker than it ever was ever since its Continental Victory. "And I'm not talking about Crossbows, I'm talking about Catapults and Ballistas!"

Urging to point out how expensive they are, but hesitating to do so since King Zar doesn't look so kindly upon it. He went towards another direction with this conversation. "Those are indeed very powerful, but we will need officials to show us how to use them. Those weapons are a bit complex and can be dangerous if the Guards use them without having a hint of what they are doing." And he has a strong point, a shot from a Catapult can destroy houses and a shot from a Ballista isn't light either.

"You are correct, let the letter include that part. Request a couple of well trained men who can teach the Guards or at least one man who can teach both of these battle crafts." Getting to the most important part yet, he gave it a little thought at first. Catapults for example, require more men so he can't make a mass order for them since he lacks Guards here. The Kingdom doesn't have too many men! As for Ballistas, they only require two men or women to operate it successfully. Using these weapons isn't gender specific, it just requires agile individuals who have strength to push as well! Which might make buffing up the defenses a lot easier. "Order 10 Catapults and 30 Ballistas!"

Seeing that Seer is itching to know more about the prices, way of payment and the total sum too but refusing to say anything about it. King Zar decided to scratch his itch. Well not literally (Thank the Sources.). But by word he stated. "As for the prices, let it be how it is. Discounts aren't necessary but appreciated, we will pay it all in one sum on the next delivery or split it in two or more parts if its too much for our economy to handle with one shot. I'm sure they wouldn't mind. " Giving out a stressful sigh. He also added some slightly different thoughts. "As much as I would love for Pameres Kingdom to mass produce these glorious Weapons, we don't have the technology. All we can do, is make the ammunition so order only a few of those so we can use as an example. Maybe just order a couple full sets of ammunition in total or however it goes."

After clearing out that order, an hour after it the feast was ready. Although the Platoons lost many men, it was still hard to fit these living Guards all in this Castle for a feast. So some table cloths were set on the floor with various expensive food over them. No one minded the fact that they have to sit on the floor, there is no shame in it. Before the feast started, King Zar had to say a few words about all of these losses. He had quite a lot of sympathy and planned no scolding either. 

"Men. Friends! Brave Calidum Lutum ladies. I'm not sure how much you can understand me. But my point is, today we achieved glorious Victory but lost a lot of brave Guards too. The families of the brave heroes who died in battle, will be provided with free food and lumber for a year, longer afterwards if anyone in the house is unable to work. As much as I would love to compensate each death with Gold, our Kingdom can't afford it. As for you brave heroes who managed to survive, you will each receive a 500 Gold Coin Bonus! The Platoon that came from Bale Town will be excluded for such a reward." King Zar has all the rights to exclude them from this reward. They arrived in battle, they had the will to fight but they just arrived too late. They arrived when the battle was practically won and faced no losses. "As for the Calidum Lutum, the survivors will too earn the same reward and a compensation of 10,000 Gold Coins will be sent to your town, Gaster Kingdom too. Of course some of you don't understand me, but we will prepare everything for you so you don't have to worry."

Everyone cheered for King Zar to the point of shaking the Throne room (Which was the most appropriate for holding such a big feast.), even the 125 men who won't get any reward, were chanting. They have no reason to disagree especially after they took a glance at all of the Guards lost in battle, they are happy to be alive.

After raising his hand up, asking the Guards to settle down. He pointed out another important piece of information. "The Corpses of our fallen Guards will be honoured with a grave here in the Castle's Catacombs! They will be remembered as heroes and any family member may go down and visit the Graves, they won't have any restrictions. Please be sure to spread the word around about this, we will need help identifying the victims too so I hope all of you are willing to lend a hand in the name of your fallen friends and possibly family too."

Shortly after King Zar finished his speech, a louder chant was heard after. All of these men agree and are more than willing to cooperate, a heartwarming sense of unity and humanity too no doubt! They all appreciated how much King Zar tried to contribute, donate and support. It is rare to find from a King in these troubled times!

Finally, they all sat down to enjoy this feast. Although it is midday now, it has been tiring and troublesome for everyone without discrimination. Those who didn't fight in battle that much were at least tired of all the travelling. A nice hot luxurious meal comforts any human being after this much hardship.

Fire... beautiful isn't it? It can burn, destroy, breach, but what if it's superiorly charged? Bestowed upon a human being at a rate that's incomparable even against the toughest Fire Blasters of history?

Young Eric has been blessed with such ability, he has been blessed with the title of an Electus!
Which apart from Fire, brings 7 more powers, making him one of a kind.

Perfect timing, as Demons from another dimension are flocking the sea and land, looking to shred the world, aiming to destroy all 13 continents.

Yet there is hope! Black Fire, yes... that's the cure. It can dismantle portals, ultimately slowing down the invasions.
But to generate such Fire it demands for Eric to reach a level that's seen as impossible, even for an Electus!
He has to become a level 7 Fire Blaster!

That's the only solution, that's the goal the Electus' group will chase. These "peaceful demons" have to be banished back to the satanic dimension they call home.

Will Eric be able to do it though? This journey has been bestowed to him as if from the holy, although he's just a 15 year old boy!

Eric is a sweet, loving boy by nature, hero by heart. And the main thing that will be building his character development are the Inner Demons that strike an Electus once unlocking a new power.
These Inner Demons aim to change the young boy for the worst and can even make him go crazy just by altering how he comprehends reality.

Focusing on his core he found the mist that represented his accumulated essence, past that in the middle of the core itself was the grimoire floating just like the first time he saw it. Concentrating on the cover page, he willed it to open and the first page revealed itself.

The page was full of runic letters, an unspoken language in the current world but studied by many through history. Each word resonating with his soul, describing their meaning at an instinctual level. He knew that the Headline meant something along the lines of Vital Sumon or Lifetime Esper, after that was a mental incantation he had to recite followed by a magical circle filled with more runes.

The meaning of the circle runes where much harder to sense. The distinguishable ones were a rune for Wind, Water, Heart or Core, Space and Time. With each level, he will gain more knowledge about it and would be able to distinguish more runes. After the Circle was a single short line that he did not recognize, but everything past that was blank as if the next part has not been written, at least not yet.

Following the word mentally, he completed the incantation and called his Vital Summon. A translucent circle appeared in front of Adrien, it shone slightly in a green and blue hue before disappearing, in place of the circle was a small chubby creature. 

It was very small, with approximately 25 to 30 cm tall and 45 - 55 cm in length without counting the tail that had at least another 20cm. Each forelimb had five fingers and the hindlimbs four, the claws were soft and tiny, to the point of being unnoticeable unless you focused on them. Instead of fur, it had light blue scales running through all of his body with dark green vertical stripes on it's back and a whitish underside.

The slightly short snout and its wide-open eyes were a little too big, in comparison with such a small looking head. The eyes were Azure or Cyan colored, the mix of blue and green gave him a unique look filled with splendor and curiosity.

He instinctively felt a connection between himself and the summon as they both belonged together. 

He stretched his hands a tried to pet it in the head, while the creature just stared at him with it clear eyes empty of fear. The scales were surprisingly soft at the touch.

It closed its eyes and made a very human gesture of enjoyment before walking closer to Adrien and rubbing himself on him.

While patting the head once again he noticed to small nubs on its forehead, they were small and slightly hard lumps that hid almost imperceptibly below the scales. looking at the little guy he could not help but feel a sense of accomplishment, it would surely become a great and powerful friend, and he will never be alone again.

"I think it's time for a name, don't you think you need a name?" 
Tilting its head and one side the chubby summon just looked at him.
"How about Drake? what do you think?" 
The little guy made a cute snort, clearly meaning: "Are you dumb or what?"
"Okay, that's a no, definitely… Your eyes have a very unique color, and you are mostly blue so, how about Ocean?" The little being shook his head a gave a small harrumph, clearly another no.
"Okay then, what do you want to be called then? huh?"

It is very rare for a summoner to ask such a thing, they usually name the summon without a second thought even if the name it's not to their liking. The creature just blinked and entered into deep thought before Adrien felt something in his mind, it was a small presence that felt harmless and familiar. Obviously, the little guy was looking for some clue or word that it liked for his name, if a summoner of high rank were to learn this it would be extremely shocked.

While both summoner and summon share a deep bond, it is very rare for them to be able to share memories and just the act of sharing a tough is considered a skill that only the most powerful and older summoners can achieve. It takes a great amount of willpower and trust just to feel one another, but to look into their minds that a completely different story.

Another thought came to mind, it felt like a small rash that he couldn't scratch and then a word came. Just as sudden as it started, it stopped and he knew what to call him.

"Zephyrus? what kind of name is that?" hearing the name the beast jumped up and down repeatedly and in his mind, another piece of information appeared, it was a rune that while similar to those in the grimoire he had never seen before. But he knew the meaning now, it was something like breeze or another similar word to wind.

"huh? I see… It has a very simple meaning but I like it, I'll just call you Zee for short" hearing this the little guy, Zee, rubbed affectionately with Adrien and then sat down on his hindquarters before yawning and laying on the floor. During the stage before 1st Level of the summoner, both Master and Summon had a very low combat ability and the latter one had very low energy so it spent most of its time sleeping. It was almost like a baby, as for food usually, the summoners gave them essence rich meals like monster meat or for those rich in money low-level monster cores.

"Tired huh? mee too, but I can't bear to dismiss you so fast so let's just sleep on the bed you and me" Picking him up he sat on the bed and placed Zee near the wall before lying down and covering both of them with the blanket, he didn't notice the cat-sized dragon opening his eyes and glancing at him with a gleam on its eyes.

The deep breathing sounds covered the room and after making sure that Adrien was asleep a small head came out of the blanket, the innocent look on its eyes has disappeared and instead was a very serious gaze that seemed to analyze everything on its way. 

Zephyrus slowly made his way around the bed before jumping on the floor, a small thump was heard and he alertly looked back at Adrien before sighing after seeing no change on the boy.

Looking around the room it found nothing worth mentioning and proceeded to stretch his body, very much like a feline that had slept for too long. Walking around he found the booklet that Adrien was reading before, since it was on top of the desk he had to jump at the chair first, before reaching the desk with another jump.

Opening the book with his front paws and gave a look into it, appearing to be able to read and understand all the words in it. Page by page he finished all the book before closing it, if you paid attention to the look on his face it was obvious that Zee completely disregarded the rare technique as nothing of consequence.

After going back to the bed it crawled beneath the blanket and went back to sleep, or so it seemed. Any summoner close enough to the little being would be able to notice that instead of sleeping, he was actually doing a similar thing to training. Any and all magical creatures should, in theory, be able to absorb the essence in the air a transform it to fill their own affinity. It should be as natural to them as regular breathing is for humans, that is why monster could advance in power level just by aging, unlike other creatures.

Dragons, for example, could easily overcome the limits of any level just by eating and sleeping. For most magical beast, however, this process was incredibly slow and only after reaching the next stage of growth could they advance.

The next morning Adrien woke up and noticed that Zee was sleep, he decided to get ready first and then wake him up. After tidying everything up, he noticed Zee small stretchings on the bed.

"Well then, little guy can you be calm for the rest of the day? I don't want to unsummon you but I don't have many choices for now" he said to his summon, inwardly he was thinking 'if only I knew a technique to make him invisible, usually you need to stay as close as possible with your summons in order for them to learn since they have the intelligence of a newborn at this stage'

Zee just looked at him with a black stare, it seemed that he could not understand what he meant. 'no choice, I was hoping to give them a bigger surprise but this will be close enough'

"Hey Adrien, look at the time it is. Are you coming now or what?"
"Yes I'm coming, just finishing something here" then he turned to look at Zee before thinking 'i hope this is the right thing to do' 
"Come on, just follow me"

Taking Zephyrus with him, he went down to the kitchen in order to start working. Imagine the surprise Jhon and Genna received when Adrien walked up to them with a weird lizard-cat beast hybrid in his arms.

"What the hell is that thins, quick!! throw him in the fireplace!!" - Genna
"Yes quickly, its better to take care of it now that it looks stunned" - Jhon
"Wait, what? no, I'm not throwing him in the fire. Are you insane!! this is my Vital Summon, I just got him yesterday."

Hearing that explanation they stood still, only when the surprise passed and they calmed down did they put down the knives they picked. Only then Adrien noticed the knives and realized that his little "surprise" had gone the wrong way he expected.

"I see, what a surprise you got there for us boy"
"Yes, you should not surprise an old lady like me. I nearly stabbed the little guy!!"
With an embarrassed expression he said "Sorry I just wanted to surprise you guys"

In the end, they all laughed much to the confusion of the little Zee. Placing him on the floor he continued to tell the rigged tale of how Zee came to be -of course leaving certain things like the blackout he had and the new affinity he got-, they both were happy for him since this meant Adrien would have a great future in hand.

After that, it was time to decide what to do with the new family member. As mentioned before: on the first few levels, a Vital Summon had low intellect, bordering that of a child. This meant that his curiosity and knowledge of things were on different levels, usually, the owner should teach them slowly and keep them by their side but Adrien had work to do.

"Despite your age, the fact that you got a Summon changes a lot of things. Maybe you can qualify for it"
"Jhon is right Adrien, we know you have been saving in case this happened. Maybe is time for you to try and take the test for the tower"
"Exactly, they have a lot of requirements but you are still less than 18 years old, your chances are better right now"

Thinking about this they were absolutely right, but a part of him didn't want to take the test. It meant that he had to leave the city and more importantly them, they helped him and gave him a home when he needed it the most. In comparison with other people, they were two of the most important persons in his life.

"You are right, tomorrow I will go to the central plaza and I will take a carriage to the capital and participate in the examination to enter one of the Towers" Hearing Adrien say those words, both Jhon and Genna were satisfied. they would miss him and his parting would make the inn a little empty for a long time.

~The whole ordeal defined a new chapter in the life of both Adrien and Zephyrus, his future would have a lot of rare and unexpected surprises, but he would always think back to those days he spent at their Inn and despite the hard work he had to do, these would be one of the fondest times he could think of~

Deep in the forest, a small camp was made and one of the students sat on the floor while the other cooked something in the campfire. Anyone looking at them would think that they were a homeless person, their clothes were tattered and pieces of armor were obviously broken beyond repair.

The fight with the Mantises took a great toll on them both, they looked a little pale and fresh new bandages covered a lot of wounds through all their bodies. If you looked carefully at the big tree behind them, you would notice a very long serpentine figure wrapped around it. Despite this presence, both of them seemed unfazed by it and talked freely without a single worry.

"This is surprising, the Mission Letter said it was only one 4th Ranked creature that was wrecking the ecosystem"
"I know, I read the letter just like you. If I had known they were going to be this many then I would have suggested for us to bring another person"7
"I'm not complaining, except maybe of this food. I hate eating this simple meals, when can you summon your Torel? with his help, maybe we can get to the city in almost no time"
"She is still recovering, those pesky bastards nearly killed us. At least we got 5 cores out of them, plus the materials. Insect type Magic Beast always have a lot of usable materials, those blade-like arms will make decent weapons"
"Food is ready, my Snal is keeping watch so we can rest for a few hours before leaving for the city."
"Yes, well rest for 2 hours. The sooner we get there, the sooner we will have real food and a good bath"

Eiol, a world where strength matters but teamwork and planning is also essential. After all unlike other worlds in the vast multiverse, here every person has at least one partner to grow in strength with. Summons, Espers, Guardian or Eidolons. These are the many names that had been used in the past to refer to those partners.

The story follows Adrien, a regular teenager with the hope of becoming strong enough to overcome the hardships of the world and to avenge the wrongdoings committed to both him and his mother.

The sun was bright, it penetrated through the air like an arrow, spearing Alex's chilled skin with welcomed comfort. The snow fell around the area coating the ground in a fluffy blanket of white, yet like before, the courtyard remained unfazed by the cruelties of the winter. They walked among the wildflowers that were being grown around a bed of roses and daffodils.  The smell of fresh air was carried on the breeze tossing Alex's curls lose from her ties. It was beyond beautiful outside, her wolf purred against her chest, thankful to be free from the confines of indoors. "I have so many questions but hardly know where to begin." She mused staring out into the garden, watching as a bee landed on top a flower gracefully. They had started their walk along a bricked pathway, it looped under a giant weeping willow tree, there below its sagging branches was a cute wooden bench stained a deep cherry. Alex felt the rough context of its structure before sitting down, she glanced up at her companion, who remained quiet by her side. 
As if sensing her stare Ace let out a sigh, "Yes, I am sure this is a lot to take in." he acknowledged. 
"A lot indeed, one minute I am dead set against hating all you Alpha pigs," at Aces grunt, she blushed, "And now I do not really know how I feel. You are my Lord and now my Mate and even saying that out loud makes me uncomfortable. How shall I address you?" she asked curiously.
Ace's gaze always intense did not change, "You may address me as My Lord in front of company and by name in private or among friends." He stated. 
Alex nodded but chewed on her bottom lip, "Am I permitted to visit home?" she asked, "You have not given me a set date to return and I worry about my family."
There was a moment of silence and Alex feared that maybe she should not have asked such a question, but it was better to know where they stood now, rather than later. There were certain responsibilities that she had to attend to, her mother could not be trusted, and her siblings were still too young to fend for themselves. It was Alexis's job to protect them and make sure they were being properly taken care of, as much as she possibly could under the circumstances. Even though Ace had guaranteed that the village was being seen too, if she could at least see for her own eyes what was being done, she would feel a lot better about the situation. No, she had to get home whether he permitted it or not, she needed to be sure that her brother and sisters were alright. The word of the Alpha Lord would not be good enough, it was because of his neglect that they were in the position they were in to begin with. 
"I have told you that they are being taken care of, why would you wish to return to such a horrible place?" he questioned with a raised brow.
Alex frowned, "They are still my family, forgive me for not trusting your word alone, I would like to see for myself." A faint muscle ticked against Ace's jaw as he stared at her, "I have three younger siblings and a drunkard for a mother, I also have…friends I would like to see." 
"Friends?" his eyes narrowed, "You mean a lover?"
Her mouth opened and shut a few times, her cheeks darkening a deep shade of red, "Even if I did mean a lover, that it none of your business." She stated hotly. A lover? Her? The idea was preposterous, with the amount of time she spent trying to make ends meet, there was never time for such an idea to enter her head. Samuel's face sprung to her mind, his deep laughing brown eyes, and she softened a little. Alex suddenly wondered what he was doing, how he felt about her not returning, would he miss her? Probably not, he was a catch in their small village, no doubt he was being sweet talked at that very moment by a beautiful girl. 
A flash caught her attention, but it was too late to bolt, Ace had her by the chin, his rough grip bruising. "Listen to me and listen very carefully," he seethed, "If I find you with another man, touching another man, even fucking sharing a smile with another man, I will gut him in front of you. I do not share what is mine Alexis and make no mistake You.Are.Mine." each word was punctuated with intense meaning.
Alex jerked her chin from his grip, though she knew it was probably because he allowed her too, verses her own strength. "I belong to no one; I am my own keeper." She stated.
There was a wicked gleam in those violet eyes, "The mark on the back of your neck says differently."
Standing in a furry, Alex stood toe to toe with the Alpha Lord, starring up into his beautifully haunting face, "This mark," she threw a hand up to emphasis the mark she could not see, "makes no difference to me, it means nothing, other than you cannot control your temper."
"Coming from the woman that bit me first." He replied meeting her gaze head on.
Alex felt a little string of guilt, but it faded, her wolf rushed to the surface, prideful of the mark that she had left on the male's skin. Even now Alex could see it below the collar of his black silk shirt, it shimmered against the light, signaling to any woman that he was indeed a mated male. "That wasn't a bite…it was a playful nip." She supplied trying not to look to pleased with herself.
Ace took his hands out of his pockets and encircled them around the small span of her waist, drawing her against his chest, "Would you like to try and give me another…playful nip?" he murmured the question lowly, his voice thickening with emotion.
To say that Alex did not almost instantly melt against him would be an understatement, her whole body was buzzing with the sentiment of his words, and she wanted nothing else more than to indeed give him another nip. Pulling herself together she backed away out of his embrace, "Was that an invitation to go running?" she called over her shoulder already shooting off down the winding path, "Catch me if you can!" she yelled the challenge on the wind, stripping her clothes, she gave herself over to the wolf.
