The story follows a man/boy who is reincarnated in the GOT universe with 5 wishes complimentary from everyone's  favourite ROB. 

The story is my first piece of work and is only being written due to lockdown and free time.

A South Korean high school graduate moves to the United States with ambitions of becoming a professional basketball player. Follow along in his adventure as he grows not only as a player, but as an adolescent into an adult. Jam was recognized in the library by the receptionist, and allowed to go to the third and fourth floor to pick out his two techniques. On the third floor, Jam picked up a technique simply called Intent. 

[Intent: An auxiliary technique that suppresses and applies pressure on others through the user's killing intent. The effects of the suppression can range from decreasing the combat prowess of the target(s) to directly killing the target should their cultivation be weak enough relative to the user. The technique's effectiveness is governed by the user's cultivation base, level of killing intent, and Demon Dao level — Maximum effect on Saint Masters and below]

After picking the Demonic Technique in the third floor, Jam moved up to the fourth floor, and started searching for a Yang technique. Because the Library was shaped like a pyramid there would be less books the higher up you went. 

The fourth floor was the highest floor in the library and had very few books in its own right; there wouldn't be many books for Yang techniques, that Jam could pick from. Luckily, Jam found a skill he liked. 

[Solar Upheaval: Incorporates Yang Dao aspects and energy into already existing skills. This technique allows the user to gain access to the Yang Dao aspects of Purification, Light, Heat, Hardness, and Virtue — 0% | Evolvable]

The Yang Dao was very similar to the Dao of Fire, as they shared two aspects, the aspect of Heat and Purification. However, while these aspects were technically the same, the differed slightly. 

The Yang Dao would push these two aspects to the extreme. For example, Heat for the Dao of fire, could be interpreted to be hot or cold, and some Fire Dao practitioners would use a cold flame. However, for the Yang Dao, the concept of  "coldness" didn't exist.

With these two techniques picked out, Jam headed back to the receptionist to pick up the jade slips for these techniques. These techniques weren't like the free techniques, that had their respective jade slips in the little book introducing the techniques. Jam would have to take the introductory book for his Demonic and Yang techniques to the receptionist, where he would then be given the jade slips for each of the techniques.

Jam won't back down stairs and received his techniques. He bade farewell to the receptionist and headed for the core disciples classroom. Evangeline told Jam she would be waiting for him to pick up his technique outside the library, and when Jam came out, the two of them headed to their classroom.

On the way to their classroom Jam and Evangeline saw Rina. Jam shouted at Rina and after some formalities, Rina was added to Jam's party.  Rina was still not perfectly acclimated to Jared becoming Evangeline, but that didn't influence her too much in the way she behaved around Evangeline. 

As they were walking and chatting, Rina suddenly asked Jam "So… what's your IGT?"

"What?" Jam had no idea what Rina was talking about.

"You know, an Internet GamerTag." Rina responded.

"Sorry, I still have no idea what you're talking about." Jam was still confused.

"Do you have a computer?" Rina asked.

"Not here. But I did have one back where I lived, before coming to the academy." Jam confirmed.

"Have you ever used the computer to play games on the internet?"

"Nope." Jam only used the computer in Woody's house to search for the most optimal training methods, or other things related to cultivation.

Rina face-palmed herself before saying "You should get a computer and make an IGT, so you can play with us on The Cloud"

"Who is "us" and what is "The Cloud?"" 

"You might be the only person in the academy without a computer to play games with, so when I say "us" I'm referring to all the other core disciples. I mean seriously, even Evangeline has an IGT and plays games every once in a while. The Cloud is just the name of the system where people go to play game on the internet, from all over the Mortal Plane." Rina was trying to be friendly with Jam by having him join her friends list.

Jam turned to Evangeline to see her avoiding his gaze, as much as she possibly could.

Jam faced Rina and said "Fine, but won't this take away time from our cultivation?"

"Yeah, but cultivation is boring and dull." This time it was Evangeline who spoke up.

"Well, what kind of games do you play on The Cloud?"

"Lets see. You can play the traditional games, where you look at your computer's monitor, or buy a virtual reality capsule and play games in, well, virtual reality. There are RPG, Action, Adventure, Cooking, Fantasy, History, Romance, … , and even Card games and Board games!"

"That sounds stupid. Why would I play a dumb game, when reality is much more fascinating. We are literally cultivators! Our lives are literally chuck-full of action, adventure, fantasy, and so on."

"Yeah, but it's hard work, and the action, adventure, and fantasy has to wait for you become powerful through the endlessly repetitive training. Don't you want to have a taste of what being super powerful is like, without having to go through the trouble of cultivating and training to reach that level?"

"The would be nice, but every moment I spend pretending to be almighty, is a moment wasted from cultivation that can actually make me that strong!" 

There was a long pause after Jam said this, and both Rina and Evangeline were looking at him, in a way that made him uncomfortable. To recover from this apparent blunder, Jam said "However, you're right in saying that cultivation is repetitive, dull, and boring,... I'll get a computer, make an IGT, and play with you guys when I'm relaxing."

Since there was still time before the class started, Jam's party went to the Hall of Affairs, to buy Jam a computer and set up his IGT. The Hall of Affairs was a place that sold almost anything to a disciple of the academy, so long as buyer had enough money. 

With Jam's wealth, buying a state-of-the-art computer and virtual capsule combo was not an issue. After buying his computer, Jam made an IGT before leaving the Hall of Affairs. Jam had no idea what his IGT should be, so he asked Evangeline and Rina for their opinion. Oddly enough, they both told him the same thing "Your IGT should be your Daoist name."

"I don't have a Daoist name."

"Well make one up then." Evangeline responded

"Is that how that works? Aren't you supposed to get your Daoist name from your reputation?"

"Nah, you can just call yourself by whatever Daoist name you want."

"Mhmm..." Jam thought about it for a minute, when all of a sudden a name just popped into his mind 'Purple Sunshine!'

This Daoist name was totally random, and had nothing to do with the Daos Jam studied, his personality, or really, anything about him. But after the name appeared in his mind, Jam couldn't forget it, and decided his Daoist name should be Purple Sunshine.

Jam typed "Purple Sunshine" into the computer and confirmed this name to be his IGT.

Evangeline and Rina were surprised with Jam's choice, but the matter of one's Daoist name was up to themselves, so they didn't say anything. They took this opportunity to tell Jam their Daoist name, since he would have to know anyways when they went to the Titanic Beast Mountain Range.

Evangeline's Daoist name was Returning Void, and Rina's Daoist name was Shinestar. 

Daoist names would be used when cultivators left their sect — or academy — and interacted with foreign cultivators. Jam would come to know members of other sects by their Daoist name until he reached a close enough relationship to know that person's real name. It was a way for people to recognize cultivators by their own merits, instead of their ancestry.

After Jam finished setting up his computer, virtual reality capsule, IGT, and Cloud account, he stored everything he bought in his Spatial Storage Dimension. Jam's group then left the Hall of Affair, and walked to their classroom.

Jam's group finally made it to the classroom. There, they waited for Cecily to come and pick them up. Cecily would take the core disciples into her flying vessel, to reach the Titanic Beast Mountain Range. 

The Titanic Beast Mountain Range is outside of Yhamnigh. In other words, the core disciples would be traveling through space to reach their destination.

One by one, the rest of the core disciples entered the classroom. They passed time by chatting amongst one another. Evangeline and Arnold were the only two core disciples that didn't participate in the chatting. Evangeline still didn't treat the rest of the core disciples as equals, and Arnold was cultivating the aspect of Self, until Cecily entered the classroom. 

It was seven in the morning when Cecily reached the classroom. Cecily looked into the classroom, and after confirming that everyone was present said "Good. Seeing that everyone's already here, let's go."

Follow the adventures of a boy named Jam on his journey to gain a purpose. Thrust onto the world of cultivation because of the silly encouragement of his foster grandmother and his ridiculously one-track-minded self, Jam's adventure is bound to be full of action, comedy, and self discovery. Hopefully, his stupidity will be cured before it affects his life too badly.

Here's my cringy first attempt at a hook, so let me be more straightforward with what this will turn out to be~

A "dense" MC in all the wrong ways, who's OPness brings Xianxia protagonists to shame.

Some wacky situations that exploit the density and idiocy of the MC, which will inevitably shape his future self.

A band of overpowered companions that follow Jam in his journey to find purpose, with only a single love interest (for now, and probably forever~)

I walk through my dreams like I've lived a whole life there, most times they are about a recent book I read. That is one of the things I do a lot and I'm not just saying that I really do read almost all day long. If I'm not reading I am probably watching some movie or anime series, yes you can probably guess I haven't done much with my life. let's start where it all began.

Back in middle school I loved to read books so much so that when I was grounded they took away my books instead of saying I couldn't go out with friends or no tv/games. yes I was a pretty strange kid compared to some being a 12 year old in America at the time(2012 No less). when I was grounded my next best thing was video games because they told stories as well at the time my video game collection was pretty sparce using an old dell business computer that ran windows xp (let's just say I got really good at minesweeper). even before I found books video games were still present. I still remember my mom gifting me an original Xbox she won in a contest it came with one game and it was a racing game not a lot of story just races.

After a while of getting in trouble I got grounded while i was grounded so I lost games as well suffice to say my box of legos was not very entertaining for a 12 year old mainly because I didn't like to make things up myself it felt so tedious that I had to work so hard to make up shapes and other things people already. i also didn't have many friends so instead I slept, and I slept hard. I don't remember much of my dreams then but I do remember one that was about magic and there was a really dark forest that went on forever in a sea of trees, other than that though I don't remember.
A couple of months later I was officially free and it felt like freedom I got to read again, it was so much fun, I would imagine it being like a drowning mans next breath of air. I didn't goto sleep that night instead I stayed up reading, when morning came I was tired but the book just got to THAT PART that is just so interesting and catching you can't stop, i read through that day as well. after dinner I got so tired I slept couldn't keep reading.
the next morning felt so sluggish like the morning after you get drunk but not enough for a hangover. well after a week of being late for school because I was busy reading parents up an sold all my books. ALL of them like really I was almost done reading them! I never read another book until after basic training 4 or 5 years later.
things changed after I lost my collection I switched to video games and because they didn't want me up all night reading whenever Christmas came around it was games instead of books. birthday? video game. my dad was an avid gamer always tried to keep his pc updated and sent old games I could run on my pc to me. me and my dad were always great at games but I could never compete with him, and it totally didn't have to do with me playing the games for the stories instead of for the high scores(of you can't tell this sentence is sarcasm read this again).

flash forward to the start of high school I was big on video games by then my computer had upgraded to a brand new one from my birthday me and my dad built it together good memories there. I remember when i tried to play morrowwind on it. that was when I realised I didn't like challenging games i liked to play and get the story, maybe different endings (those were my favorite).

at the start of high school I didn't really have a lot of friends because I didn't have many in middle school. my dad recommended me to join the ROTC there, he said he did and he had fun when he was in high school. So I did and the first year was fun and it started with ROTC especially when I started competing. I had so much fun I spent 14 hours of day at school I woke up at 5 to get to practice went to school than got home around 7 after the other practice you can imagine I didn't have a lot of time for video games especially because all that practice was physally demanding. 

1 year later 2 year in high school this I would consider the real start of high school for you actually have to do something to pass your classes I met a girl in my math class (insert joke about about girls causing problems in highschool here [ps: this is the joke I'm not sexist]). We started talking about a lot of things our school football team things like that, than we got to books she loved to read book I got to see her library once well less of a library and more of a whole wall of books and all books I wanted to read. her name was Alex I had the biggest crush on her at one point than found out she was lesbian so we kinda grew apart shallow I know but it's high school things like this happen. anyways after seeing those books some of them I used to read myself I started to want to read again, but I had no books i was still forbidden to read so I put my frustration put on video games during this time I was playing a lot of modern warfare 2 I loved the story and the way it flowed but it was really the first game I really played on steam I have logged over 500 hours  on that game alone I got every achievement for single player even the ones for veteran difficulties and also got most for the multiplayer which at this point I had everything unlocked and was max level I loved the multi player.

at this point I was starting to show up late sometimes to practice because I wasn't sleeping early enough. I went one more year like that and over summer I played so many video  games I swear I dreamt about sheaperd in mw2 around this time skyrim came out and I played the heck out of it  (I didn't get as many hours of playtime because 3rd year of high school is the hardest around 200hours). 3rd year rolls around I've dropped out of all practices because it was all boring again nothing new same old stuff. I was still busy keeping my grades up especially that foreign language credit that is needed to graduate.

4th year felt like being a freshman again except youre the one who makes fun of the freshmen.

nothing important happened then so I graduated and I wanted adventure something new so I went and joined the US Airforce. If I knew what I knew about it than I would have waited unroll now to join. long story short my addiction to video games got the better of me some nights during training and I ended up sleeping in, combined with my selective forgetfulness  (I kid you not I forgot my boots one time). luckily I wasn't in that long so I got an entry level discharge (look it up if you don't know) after I got back I found books to read online and read I did but because I didn't have school and at the time no work to deal with

this is about the time where I realised something special about my dreams.

at one point in high school I played a game where you create your own games and other people play them but this wasn't like legos using only blocks this was a program and once they started to abandon the Lego building style I started to learn it you could import meshes from other programs like blender so I started learning how to use it during this time I started dreaming up wire frames i wanted to tell a story using this game a story without words. I spent a long time on this and I can say to this day that I am self taught at how to use blender and that I ended up really famous on that game for my builds

that was the first clue because I was spending so long learning how to use blender I started dreaming up wire frames or if I was having a really hard time with a specific thing I would dream how it looked and be able to re create it the next day.

now after my attempt at trying to get a stable job i went back to reading. It started out with books i had already read then spread and spread till I found whole websites filled with books to read some exciting some not and they all had one HUGE thing in common they were all fiction and that's what I like. the wilder the better.

one day I met a girl and we planned on getting married and we had a kid a beautiful daughter we named Angela love her so much. I don't know what happened after we came out of the hospital after she gave birth she said she was through with me and left. that hurt a lot so I went back to reading and read I did the stories around this time were mainly reincarnation stories in another world I swear I had a dream at one point i was reincarnated into alegasea  (if you don't know you haven't lived).

this is where I realised my dreams make for the best stories and I tried to write a story about a specific dream once or twice. It never turned out well. Now I'm in college for networking taking a Cisco class (super boring) so my dreams are extra vivid further making me want to write those stories out but they never seem to tell the story how I want then to but right now this one is working does this count as 4th wall break? (lol couldn't resist the humor there [and don't say it was bad because you thought it was funny at some point deep deeeep down you just don't know it])

a story about a man and his dreams that might mean he is insane or might just love books too much. don't listen to the voices in your head about this one because the pink platypusbear that sleeps like a bat doesn't like your drugs.

The Rangers rushed to the roof of Whiskey Hotel to light flares as otherwise it would mean the flattening of D.C.
Pushing through the russians and arriving at the roof and lighting their flares, waving them to get the attention of the incoming Jets. Finally the pilots took notice and waved off as the Rangers were finally victorious. Finally being able to clear the White house from any Russian forces still left. After eliminating all enemy forces the Rangers decided to look around but still be aware of their surroundings, Entering a library they looked around to see any interesting books to read as the EMP made all electronics unusable. One Ranger in particular Cpl Dunn found a interesting book to read as he was temporary done fighting, "We'll never was one for reading books but this one look pretty interesting." 
Reading the title of the book made him curious of the contents that lied in it. So he started reading a book about four heros, The Sword,Bow,Spear and lastly the shield but Dun didn't think the shield could be a great weapon.
"Hey Dun, What you reading there" Said a another Ranger with dark skin "Nothing much Sarge just a book about some heroes who get summoned to some other world to save the planet." he said as he turned to the next page 
"I hate the Princess she's such a bitch."
 "Well Dun what can you tell us from the book we wanna hear about the interesting adventure you've been having in your head." The other Rangers laughed "Well it's about four heroes the sword, Bow, Spear and Shield as they get sent into another world, where they are given their weapons as they go on their adventure they meet a princess she turns out to be a bitch but hardly anyone notices it though there are still pages left from the book but their empty even though it already went through all the heroes." 
Confused to why they would leave blank pages in a book "Might be a publishing error or something so wh..." Foley was cut off by the bright shine coming from the book. "Yo what kind of fucking book shines that bright is that some kind of new bible or some shit." One of the Rangers said surprised. "I have no idea what the hell is causing the huge light." Dropping the book all of the Rangers slowly fell unconscious.

Naofumis POV

Naofumi was just going along his day by heading to a library to look for a good Novel to read as he was browsing a book fell on him "Ow... that hurt" rubbing his head he looks at the book "The Weapons of the four saints." Reading the book he had gotten very interested in the book. Suddenly arriving at the Shield hero's chapter, he was surprised to see it was blank. Suddenly he starts to slowly pass out.

"Ow" Naofumi said as he slammed unto the floor and woke up, Confused to where he was he looked around and then noticed the shield 'What the hell' trying to pry it off but nothing happened. Looking at the others around him "We did it we summoned the Saints but who are the others nevermind o great heros please save our world." Suddenly the other heros spoke "Why should we help you after taking us from our world." "Are you going to reward us for our efforts" "What your answer is might turn us into your enemies." 'Wow they've already demanded respect and rewards' 
"Please you can negotiate with the king he will reward you all handsomely."
A brief moment of silence passed through the air as another voice spoke "First of all where the fuck are we and why are there some weird rove wearing fuckers surrounding us." "Dun shut the hell up and let me take care of everything." Foley spoke standing behind him were his other Rangers in total being 10 counting him 11. The 4 cardinal heros were surprised to see soldiers from their era with them. "Alright now that you're all silences I can speak, now its not good that you're already trying to negotiate with something you don't know anything about as well as a great way to make people mad at you." Foley said in a stern voice "but they summoned us from our world to fight for them without our consent." the bow hero spoke "Colonel take it away."
 foley spoke giving a chance for the colonel to speak. "You are right they took you without your proper consent so it is part of your problem but even though they did you're here now, Its best to not start making enemies early on son or else were all gonna be in trouble." Colonel Marshal said.
 "I guess your right." "Now please lead us to your king."
 'Wow now we have soldiers of our era on our side this is not what I expected.' Surprised to all that happened in a matter of seconds.

Climbing up the stairs the Bow hero spoke "Wow so we really are in another world." "Yea, we really are." the spear hero responded. "Wow it feels like one of those commercials for vacations" all the other heros looked at him "You've never been out of Japan" The bow hero said "This place has standard Mediterranean climate." the sword hero said.
Naofumi felt a bit embarrassed "Yea, yea sorry for my lack of knowledge and vocabulary." 
"Well people lets get a move on not much time if these people are in danger." Foley reminding them.

Arriving at the kings throne the king spoke "So you are the 4 Cardinal heros as well as your other companion, I am the King of Melromarc Aultcray Melromarc XXXII." The U.S. Rangers weren't amused as they looked at the king they know how kings can be, Cruel and unjust in a single second he can kill you because he can or you insult him. Who could blame them they were Americans they know the Dictatorship of Kings and Queens but they stood silent to listen. "Heros name yourselfs."
"I am Amaki Ren, Sixteen years old, High Schooler."
"I am Kitamura Motoyashu, Twenty one years old and a College student."
"Guess I'm next Kawasami Itsuki, Seventeen Years old and a High Schooler."
"I am Naofumi Iwatani, Twenty and in College."
"Alright we're next I am Colonel Marshal U.S. Rangers."
"Sgt Foley and Sgt Hirsh." "Cpl Dun and Cpl Hirsh." "Pvts Ramirez, Sandler, Blumel,Handler,Volker and Wade."

"Now then My country and all of the world are in danger of being destroyed."

Waves which come and if they aren't stopped they will destroy the world. Which is what the 4 Cardinal heros are for to thwart them as well as hour glasses that every country has in order to tell when the wave is coming. The 1st wave came before we were summoned the knights and Merchants fought it off but not without taking Major casualties. Which then the wave get harder as the more you progress through the wave of calamity. "We underestimated the destruction and strength of the wave, we realized that the only ones who can stop them are you the Cardinal Heros."
"You don't expect us to work for free do you." Ren spoke "No of course not once the waves are done with we will reward you handsomely." 

"Now check your statuses."
"Um what?"Naoufumi was Confused 
"Come on guys it should've been the first thing you see on the corner of your vision."
"Oh... yea, I see it" Naofumi said
"Now focus on it"
His status opened to reveal their levels, only to be lvl 1.
"Well guys we're heroes but not the 4 classes, were gunners." Pvt Ramirez said
"Ugh first we fight a war and now we have to deal with this come on I wanted to retire after all that." Dun said tiredly.
"So what is all this?." Naofumi asked
"This is status Magic in order to lvl up you have to set of on an adventure to upgrade your weapons."
"My shield isn't even considered a weapon."
"I guess we should all form a party."
"You will all have to recruit and travel separately" the old man said.
"Why is that " Itsuki said with curiosity.
"It is said that the weapons repel themselves by nature if you work together it hinders their ability to develop."
"So it is true" Naofumi said looking at the message in front the message appears in front of all 4 heros except the Rangers.
"Uh does this go for us because I don't see any damn message." Dun asked in curiosity.
"I'm guessing no since we might be some kind of exception hero or something." said Sandler.
"The sun is about to set so you heros should get some rest, We shall gather the best heros for you tomorrow."
A woman came forward and spoke "Please follow me to your room."

"Wow so this is how it feels to be treated as a legendary hero, that woman who led us was also hot." Motoyashu said in great happiness

"Wow isn't this like a game or something" Naofumi said.
"You mean it is a game an Online game." Motoyashu said
"What are you talking about its a Console game"
"You're wrong, it's a VRMMO."
"Alright well we have to start somewhere." Motoyashu said
"Who was the guy in the thousand Yen bill 1.. 2.."
4 different responses came out and now they  had to talk about their worlds respective history.
"Guess we're not just from different era Japan's but whole entire alternative Universe Japans." Naofumi said.
"What about you guys" Motyashu said a bit curious about their world. 
Foley looked at them and spoke "Not a pretty one if you're asking, We were fighting a war on American soil defending against the russians but that's all I'm gonna say nothing to surprising other than a war on the shores of America."
The 4 were surprised to hear that the Rangers were fighting a war before they arrived, they expected off duty soldiers or reserve but not in current combat or large scale as that one.
"Did you guys have anything familiar to a game or something like this."
Cpl Dun spoke up "No not really we found it in a book and this is where it led us."
"I guess y'all know just as little as me." 
"Yea that's right but we'll be damned before we go without a fight, Hoah." Cpl Dun chanted in pride. "Well we thought it was because you were the shield hero because you're useless in Combat." Motoyashu said "No y'all have to be kidding me what about your worlds?" Itsuki shook his head and Ren spoke "Sorry man." 
"NOOOOOOO!!!" laying there sadly on the couch.
Sgt Foley spoke "Come on kid there's a purpose for a shield if it exists as does everything now get up."
Thinking about that brought his pride up a bit "Well it doesn't matter because I'll deal with anything that comes in my way." Fooley smiled "Now that's the spirit now we should all get some sleep for tomorrow so we can be ready for whatever awaits us tomorrow."
Everyone agreed and went to sleep for the next day.

The fight for DC rages on as the U.S. Rangers fight to retake DC from the Russian Forces. A Nuke sets of in midair causing an EMP disabling all electronics finally giving the Rangers a fighting chance against the Russians. After hard fighting for Whiskey Hotel or the White House, They fight hard to reach the top and set off flares to stop the flatening of DC. The Rangers are victorious along with others to reaching the top of Whiskey Hotel. After the 11 Rangers secured Whiskey Hotel the Rangers find a library and start looking at books to keep themselves busy, Cpl Dun finds a book about 4 heroes the others get interested into what he's reading as they have nothing else to do but wait for reinforcements to arrive.

I was lying down in my crib, thinking about many things in my head with a blank look.

The maids were worried if I became like this because of getting hurt somewhere yesterday. But their worries didn't go through my absent mind.

I was sure that I am now the villainess because of the language used in this world. Romanian language and the letters that I saw in some parts of the side events matched what I learnt yesterday.

I was really reincarnated into the world of Romania. The game Royal Intrigue. What more, as the main villainess!

My head hurt after thinking about it. But then something hit me.

Oh wait! If I really am reincarnated into the world of Romania then doesn't that mean that...I can find out more about the world unlike in the game?!

My eyes twinkled in delight after thinking about it.

I was really excited when I thought about magic, swords, magical beasts, spirits, fairies, adventurers and all the things that exists in fantasy!!

And what I was more excited about was...to go on an adventure!!

Yes, adventure! To go to every single land and water in this world and see what lies beyond this magical place.

When I was still in earth, I would always dream about me being in a fantasy world, going on an adventure, making friends and comrades, learning magic, fighting monsters and travelling the world.

Whatever if I may be now, even if I am the villainess, I will still do what I want to and follow my heart in this life.

I got out of my thoughts and finally looked at my status carefully.

Hmm...since I'm just a baby, my stats aren't so good. But my Int, Luk and Magic stats have more points which might be a bit strange for a baby.

Maybe because I have the mind of an adult, my Int was raised. But Luk and Magic...I don't really think I am so lucky enough to have such high points and magic...I haven't even learnt a single thing about it so how does it have the highest points in my whole stats?

I scrutinised my stats more carefully then I looked at the titles.

I looked at the last title which was also the strangest of them all.

What bullshit is this? Oh sorry, I couldn't help it. But this title....is weird. What does it really mean? It doesn't even have any description and only shows '???'. 

I try to see its description but the system keeps on saying my level is not enough so I gave up. 

Since I can find out about it after my level is enough then I can wait till then. 

I then look down at the last one.

This one is also something strange. Seven God's blessings? Who are the seven gods and why would I even have their blessings while I never believed in gods in my whole life?

This one also didn't have any description and only question marks were shown.

I gave up trying to find out about it and looked at my level which was only level 1.

I remember that I got exp points from reading a book so maybe I could do that again and level up to some extent? 

Since I cannot get out of my house and defeat monsters, I cannot grind for exp points like in games so I only have the option to read books which is also what I would really love to do so.

But...maybe it can only happen after a few more months.

After she opened her eyes, she found herself in an unfamiliar place with a new identity, new family, new experiences and new beginning which were all too familiar for her even if it seemed unreal.

She got reincarnated into the world of Royal Intrigue as the main Villainess, Charlotte Schneider. She got herself a system and set an aim, to become strong and protect her family from anyone!

But... Even after trying to avoid the main storyline, why do those annoying people still continue to come for her? Why is that prince looking at her with those strange eyes? And the heroine....why isn't she behaving hostile like in the game?

Charlotte couldn't understand but she didn't care as her aim still remained clear in her head, to become strong, to protect and go on an adventure!

Lydia explained she found the stock of comic books in the ruins of a desk with one drawer miraculously intact. Something hit Joshua, he wondered how the paper that was several thousands year old had withstood the test of time like that. It wasn't just those comic books, the cooking book he had used before was also in similarly good condition. He had Luna analyze the paper, its composition was very different that sheet of paper used on Earth, making it much more sturdy and able to be preserved for millennia. 

In any case, he examined the comics. Looking through the covers revealed they were all part of the same series which Luna translated as 'The Globulous Adventures of Nathalie Tangai, Private Incinerator'. Just looking at the title, he was able to fix two words for Luna's dialect. After they ate dinner, he didn't waste time and started to read the series. 

Nathalie Tangai was a young private investigator living alone with her magical cat Salami who had the ability to turn into a tiger when faced with danger. One day, she received a letter informing her that her uncle Maximilian had passed away and left her a manor. Obviously, the place was haunted so she had to perform an exorcism with the help of an alcoholic priest. 


Once the place was safe, she discovered the manor was once the headquarters of an evil cult wearing penguins masks. That's when the main antagonist made his entry, a man going by the name of 'Baron Viktor', a master of disguises whose goal was to access some ancient documents leading to a mythical treasure hidden in the manor. Nathalie had the brilliant idea to memorize all the documents thanks to her genius intellect and burned them all once she was done.


The series then turned into a bizarre murder mysteries series as Nathalie traveled around the world to look for the treasure while Viktor kept chasing her in a new disguise every adventure while always committing murder for some dumb reason. For example, one case had Viktor disguised as a snake charmer and he murdered a sailor with a tankard, to have the local innkeeper accused of the murder. However, Nathalie proved he had used the tamed snake to smash the sailor with the tankard in question. 

Halfway through the series, a major twist happened in the story: Viktor was revealed to be her long lost twin brother who was kidnapped as an infant by the cult. When he realized it, he saved her life by protecting her from the evil Penguin Lord Nico who was the true main villain and died in the process. 

Heartbroken, Nathalie took possession of the treasure, which turned out to be a time machine. She used it to go back in time and prevent her brother's kidnapping. This created an alternate reality that soft rebooted the series as Nathalie & Viktor started a detective agency together in that timeline. 

The rebooted series involved them traveling around the world and solving ridiculous cases against all odds. If you thought the snake charmer story was ridiculous, it was nothing to what transpired in the second half of the series. The finale of the series took them on a rocket ship patrolling around the moon to face the penguin cult and their master, Lord Nico. Nathalie defeated him by feeding him bagels for some reason. The story ended with the siblings going back on their planet but along the way got absorbed by a vortex leading them to another dimension and therefore, new adventures. 

Joshua didn't know this, but it should come to a surprise to no one those new adventures never came, the series which had been losing steam since the 'reboot' actually got canceled. 

As you might have guessed from this little summary of the 'plot', this series was probably written by either someone on drugs, someone badly advised by their editor or someone even crazier than Joshua. It must, therefore, not be a surprise to you that Joshua loved every freaking moment of this utter nonsensical plot and even cried several times. 
In any case, reading the series took a good part of the night, he could have sped up with Luna's help but he was having so much fun with this dumb series he just relaxed and enjoyed the ride. He didn't neglect his main objective, mind you. His knowledge of Easan was making great progress. 

In the meantime, Catherine had a similar idea to help improve Luna's knowledge of the language. She entered the recreational room, picked a random board game box and looked for the manual. The game was a bizarre variation of chess and there were illustrations on how the several pieces were allowed to move. She managed to establish a basic set of rules with Luna's help and played a round against Lydia. Some parts didn't seem right so she made a few adjustments. They repeated the process until they got a game that mostly made sense before moving on to another game. That one turned out to be some variation on Monopoly so apart from Joshua, who was busy reading the comics,  everyone joined in for the game. While some rules had to be improvised, they did have fun. Considering the nature of the mission, this moment of relaxation was pretty beneficial to the party's morale. There were a few other games but by the time they were done with their current round, it was close to midnight so the group decided to call it for the night. 

The next few days passed by quickly, Catherine and Joshua spent their time improving their vocabulary slowly increasing the difficulty of the material. After running out of board games and recipes, they moved on to individual documents. Most of them were still too complicated, but they picked up a word here and there. One day, The twins stumbled upon a couple of novels of various genres which was a blessing for them. Catherine wasn't very interested in those fictional stories so she let Joshua handle them while she continued to read documents. 

The first book was a horror novel involving a horrible monster killing people in terrible ways. While Joshua found it lackluster, mainly cause the protagonists were all morons who kept splitting up, he had to admit it was pretty useful to learn how to translate various causes of death. Have you ever wondered how one said: 'Thrown into a giant spaghetti machine, torn apart and served to unsuspecting restaurant clients' in Easan? Well, neither had Joshua but now he knew how to say it. Ultimately, the monster was revealed to be vulnerable to soap and was tricked to enter a washing machine where he got locked in and dissolved. He wondered if this was some kind of hidden marketing ploy to boost the sales of washing machines. Anyway, he didn't linger on it too much and moved on. 

The next one he picked up turned out to be an erotica novel. Obviously, it was terribly written. Regardless, he read it, after all, considering half the text consisted of 2 people alternating yelling 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAH' it was fairly easy to follow. Actually, this one was more instructive than the horror novel, as it greatly helped him identify the word referring to certain body parts. His method of figuring them out was quite pragmatic, considering what happened to each part, he just had to figure out what was possible and what wasn't. Joshua, who had been so moved reading that dumb comic, finished the novel in one go, his expression remaining stoic all the time. He was glad when he finished it, in a sense that novel was so bad it was more disturbing than the horror one. 

In any case, he finished story after story. Despite the bad luck he had with the first two, some of the books were actually pretty good. His favorite book was the story of a young baker going on a quest to create the greatest bread recipe ever. By the time he was done with all of them, his level in Easan was pretty good and it was time to resume his research. 

He checked Luna's database and brought for the book about runes he had tried to read before and was glad to see the system was able to translate most of it this time. Therefore, he headed back to the library. He could try to make the rune that had exploded in his face again, but he preferred to check for safer models first, that one was still only half translated. He found a couple of purely theoretical books and while they were hard to understand, he still learned from them. Even with Luna's help, it took him two days to read all the books present but when he was done, he felt like he was ready to accomplish wonders. 

Well either that or he would accidentally cause a massive amount of destruction.

After dying, our main character found himself summoned by a young woman. She comes from a long line of summoners and had expected to partner up with a powerful being, like the rest of her family. Instead, she summoned a computer programmer, who from now on will be living inside her head. Powerless, he's unable to help her with the upcoming war. Disappointed that neither of them had been blessed by fate with some divine abilities, he decides to build a computer system inside her head himself.

His in-game name was [Steel Slice], and he was the spoiled son of a rich family. Out of sheer luck, as if being born into a CEO's family wasn't enough, he managed to roll an epic class in Eclipse Online called the [Barbarian King]. 

The man on his side was [Rock Head], who was [Steel Slice]'s bodyguard in real life and companion in game. [Rock Head] was a berserker, another rare class. 

Both men benefited from high base stats due to their good classes. Together, they were unstoppable against beginners. 

I panicked and tried to equip my [Dimension Ripper] gloves on my left hand. 

Due to level restriction, you cannot equip this item. 

"Dimension Room!"

You cannot enter the dimension room while in combat. 

"Summon Meat Shield!"

Meat Shield is taking a nap and doesn't wish to be summoned. Summon failed. 

I had nothing to defend myself with. Nothing else I can do— I curled my hands into fists and assumed a boxing stance.

"Ha! Let's kill this loser."

Steel Slice laughed as he saw me shout incomprehensibly. There I was, a grown man with a chuunibyou complex, shouting random skill names into the air. He swung his mace at me as I punched. 

Thwack!

My physical defense and strength were nonexistent. If only I wasn't such a useless class. If only I wasn't fighting a [Barbarian King] and [Berserker], the fight could've gone a different way. But the reality was that wishful thinking wasn't going to make my physical stat growths any higher, and the fight turned into a one sided slaughter. A minute in and I was on the ground, being kicked and slammed by maces. The pain was real. 

My vision turned gray as my health hit zero.

"Hahahah, he dropped 15 silver.  This is such easy farming." 

I now had a 3rd person view of my dead body, as the world was in gray and fading. A 10 second counter was on the top right of my screen.

Steel Slice looted my body and walked off towards another new arrival. 

"Oh? A cute girl? Let's be friends. Did you know my father is the CEO of S corporation?"

Those bastards, they were even monopolizing the female players! 

I swore to get revenge on them.

I hopped out of my capsule and mimed throwing my headset at the floor. I couldn't actually throw it because it costed 2000 dollars. But I was absolutely furious.

"Steel Slice! Rock Head! I will remember your names and kill you!"

A 24 hour penalty…

Eclipse Online's servers were time constrained to offer a fair gameplay experience to all players. Normally in MMOs, whoever had the most time to grind would eventually take the lead. That was unfair to people who had jobs, school, or other commitments. 

The solution to this was to limit gameplay to 8 hours per day. Due to advances in technology, players would be able to sleep while gaming and feel completely refreshed the next morning, so most gamers played during their sleep. 

Players could also bank hours they didn't use, so that they could use them any time later. This created a fair environment which eliminated the advantage grinders with a lot of time on their hands had in other MMOs. 

This was how Eclipse could get 1.6 billion players to play on launch. It was easily accessible, and did not interfere with normal life. In addition, time passed slower in Eclipse, so players could experience their real lives and then adventure for a long time in Eclipse in their free time each day.

24 hours was a substantial penalty. It meant that you lost 8 hours of play time and progress in the game world. 

In addition, dying carried separate penalties depending on whether or not a player is a frequent PKer, and other factors. 

I headed to the kitchen and opened the fridge, and took out some leftover rice and two eggs. With a bit of theatrical aggressiveness, I cooked the rice with eggs, taking my anger out on the eggs in the pan with my spatula . 

Currently, I work as an auditor at a large firm, but I don't make much money compared to how expensive it is to rent in the city. Money was tight because I inherited a large debt from my father's failed business ventures, after my parents passed away from a car accident a few years ago. 

It would be nice if I could make a lot of money from Eclipse, pay off my family's debt, buy an apartment, and find a girlfriend. But for now, that was wishful thinking.

I spent the night fuming about getting killed by Steel Slice. I spent the next day at work, then stepped in the capsule at midnight, only to be greeted by a lock out notification. Locked out until 3:40 AM because of my death. What an inconvenience. With nothing left to do, I closed my eyes and waited until the death lock-out expired.

The town center was bustling with activity. Only a day passed, but players were already becoming much more familiar with the game. I felt something appear on my shoulder.

"Welcome back master~"

Several people stopped and looked. 

"Wow, he already has a pet."

"Must be his unique skill."

"But look at his equipment, he must've gotten robbed or something."

"What a noob."

A single day of progress made a huge difference in perception. What was considered normal beginner gear just yesterday was now an indication of a bad player. I shrugged off the comments and talked to Meat Shield.

"Thanks for leaving me to die."

"I was taking a nap~"

"Useless cat. Don't take naps when your owner is in danger."

"I'm going to take a nap again~"

Meat Shield left just as quickly as she appeared. 

The cat was vaguely reminiscent of an ex girlfriend of mine. I bit my tongue and moved on.

My first mission was to explore the town and gather information. My class Dimension Thief started with abnormally low stats compared to other classes. Even the basic thief started with stats in the mid 30s. My stats made me unable to hunt even level 2 boars, which were a low level monster that many combat classes were grinding to get started. 

I checked my status. I was still level 1 even after the death. 

Getting to level 3 to equip [Dimension Ripper] was my new challenge. 

"Curse you, Steel Slice!"

A user logged in right next to me. His name was [Books], a young man with red hair. 

"You were killed by him too?" I asked him, sensing an immediate camaraderie. 

Books looked at me with comically sad eyes and grabbed both my shoulders. 

"We are brothers in misfortune, brother Spoon. Let us team up and exact revenge on that asshole and his bald minion."

It wasn't a bad offer. I extended a handshake.

"Let's do it, brother in misfortune."

"So, what's your class?"

I wasn't about to tell him that I had a unique legendary class. 

"I'm a rare class, Dimension Thief. What about you?"

"I'm a unique rare class, Merchant of Avarice."

I groaned. He chose a merchant class. I was intending on piggy backing on him for a few levels, but even that seemed out of the question now. Other people might be impressed by the fact that he got a unique class, but I didn't think the heroic prospects for a merchant class were high. 

Books grinned. 

"Dimension Thief, huh. So what's your unique skill?"

"I can summon a cat…"

"…"

Meat Shield popped back out onto my shoulder.

"Is this your new friend, master~"

"Shut up. Dumb cat."

Books laughed. 

"She's cute. Anyway, my unique skill is [Charm]. It gives me 10% more attractiveness when speaking to women."

"…"

"…"

"Didn't think I'd ever be able to say this, but that's even more useless than my cat."

We walked around and gathered more information. With our skills and classes, nobody wanted us in their party, so we had to find a non-combat quest to give us experience to level up. We also learned that people were reluctant to share information about their unique skills, for various reasons. 

After much searching, Books ended up finding a joint quest.

And so, I spent my first full day in Eclipse washing dishes with Books. Not exactly the glamorous adventuring lifestyle I was expecting from the launch week of Eclipse Online.

The next day, we met at the same place and continued to wash dishes. The work was absolutely grueling and time consuming, but we didn't find any better alternatives. Meat Shield dipped in and out to laugh at our plight. She was currently sitting next to the sink, napping. 

I did get to know Books a bit better though. He was a recent college grad who also lived in Seoul. Currently he was working as a waiter and applying for other jobs. His hair wasn't actually red in real life, but he enjoyed being a free spirit in game. He was a friendly and trustworthy guy, and we bonded considerably over hours and hours of menial labor. His goal was to be rich as possible, which is why the system might have given him a chance at his class.

Books had his same cheery grin.

"We did it Spoon!"

"Yes we did."

What an accomplishment. I wish I was being sarcastic, but the reality of the situation was that earning any kind of experience in my current sorry state was a huge accomplishment.

What happens if you stay in character select for too long? This is the story of [Spoon], who discovers a glitch in character select. Why is there a black cat here, and what the hell is this trash unique class it gave me? Story written in the style of KR web novels. Expect a brutal PvP system, dark souls difficulty PvE content, and a story that follows a serious narrative with a dash of comedic relief and adult content.

Now that I got my books, I needed to test to see if reading actually increased my intelligence points. Though, it would be a waste of time to just read if it had no effect. With this thought, an idea came to my head, what if I read while I exercised. I thought it was stupid at first, but what if it actually worked. So I started my daily workout, with knowledge added on.

Everyday, it felt like it was getting easier, since I could get stronger almost instantly, and because of that it was much easier to read while doing it. Suddenly I heard a familiar sound and was quite surprised.

'Wow, a skill, I didn't even think of that when I was experimenting with my ability, but if I do have that ability, could I already have some skills?!"

While I thought about this, I started to wonder, how would I check my skills, would I just have to think of a skills page?

As if to answer my question, a mysterious page appeared in-front of my eyes. A little taken aback by this I stumbled backward and fell on my butt. I got up and slowly moved my eyes towards the screen.

Active (Mana to use: 100)-
Allows one to create a save point that will bring themselves back to that point if their health reaches 0.

Allows for the user to be able to use and do multiple things at once. The amount of things available rises with level.

This brought a thought, that if my ability is related to games, then does that mean I can also learn skills from books? 

After this thought process, I started going through my books to look for some sort of message to appear. After about 10 minutes of searching, a message appeared on one of the books.

The message appeared on an ancient blacksmithing book, so I'm assuming that the skill would be some sort of crafting skill. With that in mind, there was no reason to turn it down anyway, so I thoughtlessly agreed.

This was an even better skill than I could have hoped for. With this, there is a possibility if I level it up enough I can create S-tier artifacts.
Each time I've learned something about this ability, it seems as if I get a little bit more unbalanced. Well, whatever, I guess I better get back to trying to find more skills.

After going through every book that Zinna could provide me with I ended up with a few more useful skills.

Skills-

The basic forms of the strongest martial arts created by the 4 gods of earth, fire, water and wind. Once the level reaches 10, the advanced elemental techniques.

-Summon Spirit (Level-1)

Active (Mana to use- 20)-
Summons a spirit as strong as the level of the skill. An additional 10 mana will be used for every minute the spirit is summoned.

-Stat Boost (Level-1)

Active (Mana to use: 50)-
Raises all stats by 100% for 3 minutes, but decreases all stats by 50% for 10 minutes. Increase in skill level will increase duration, and decrease negative duration.

"Now that I'm looking at all of them, I really have gained some impressive power."

Though, there is still much for me to do, firstly, I have to train to become stronger. With this, I continued to work on my skills and stats for the next 3 months. During those 3 months each of my skills became level 4 except for Multitasking, which was level 6, and Martial Arts of the 4 Elemental Gods, which was level 5. Also, my status points made a huge leap in numbers.

With this, it was time to start grinding out levels and status points.

As I was able to procure enough status points, I added enough so I could make a Save Point, and put the rest in luck, so I might be able to get items and stats faster. With all the preparations made, I started to exclaim to what seemed like the world.

"I'm ready for what you have in store for me."


After that, I proudly marched towards the door ready to start the real adventure. As I was expecting the doors to open to my power, I kept walking completely forgetting that they were reinforced, and power walked straight into them. After about 5 seconds I passed out. I then woke up the next day with a vengeance for the door, so I then prepared to blast it wide open.

In a world where the weakest becomes the strongest do to the powers of gaming. As he continues to grow stronger his powers reach the levels (literally) of the gods. Though, he has to be careful not to become the game itself.
